Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection26:42

Brock Bowers is the clear TE1 in the tight end hierarchy, ranked ahead of Trey McBride (TE2), George Kittle (TE3), and Isaiah Likely (TE1 in the redraft discussion but below Bowers in the overall tier).

Insight page

Brock Purdy

NegativeProjection30:00

Brock Purdy is QB2 but the speaker takes Trevor Lawrence, Drake May, Joe Burrow, and Caleb Williams over him due to 49ers injuries; Purdy has a 7% touchdown rate (done it twice and been at 6.98 another year), but the injury situation will make for a rough month ahead.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection10:30

Speaker notes CJ Stroud benefits most from loaded Texans offense with Tank Dell returning and Jaden Higgins arriving next year; distribution of targets across multiple receivers is bullish for Stroud's overall production and consistency.

Insight page
PositiveProjection11:11

CJ Stroud is seventh in pass attempts in the entire NFL despite the Texans being perceived as a run-first, defense-focused team; the offense is trusting him more than expected. The speaker believes this is the promised 2024 season for Stroud after a delayed start, citing his young quarterback trajectory and current ascension. Stroud has favorable late-season matchups: Week 14 at Commanders, Week 15 vs. Jaguars (potential shootout), Week 16 vs. Philadelphia (falling apart), and Week 17 vs. Green Bay (not stopping competent offenses). The Texans' inability to run the ball effectively means continued high pass volume rest of season.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeRole3:46

Caleb Williams' injury (described as 'caught that case of tenderness') is referenced as a factor that affected Colston Loveland's early-season performance, suggesting the quarterback's health issues impacted the tight end's production.

Insight page
PositiveProjection30:00

Caleb Williams is QB20 with small sample size of 20.8 fantasy points per game; if rushing utility comes back, he will be really good; even without it, if he can stay in the pocket, stand tall, and deliver like he did against the Falcons (against one of the highest pressure rate teams), he will be good because he has a special arm to throw footballs; taken over Brock Purdy.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeRole13:00

Christian Watson is the primary wide receiver in the Packers' high-volume passing offense, with Matthew Golden emerging as the second option and Tucker Craft providing additional depth.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection1:02

After a strong Week 6 performance (18 fantasy points, 7 targets, 6 receptions, 65 yards, 1 TD) against Atlanta with Caleb Williams back, the speaker is confident in Loveland's outlook for the remainder of the season. Early-season struggles were attributed to small sample size with Williams and poor backup quarterback play (Case Keenum, Tyson Bagent); with Williams now healthy, Loveland is expected to deliver earlier push than his rookie season trajectory. Over the final 11 weeks (post-bye in Week 10), Loveland could produce tight end one-level output and still pay off his ADP despite early-season underperformance.

Insight page
PositiveRole1:02

Loveland was drafted as a round two tight end premium selection or tight end three premium pick in redraft formats, representing a high-key investment. The speaker notes that early-season Panthers and Minnesota games (with backup QBs and poor conditions) did not deliver the promised production, but with Caleb Williams now healthy and 11 weeks remaining in the season, Loveland is positioned to produce tight end one-level output over the truncated remaining schedule, potentially still justifying his ADP.

Insight page
PositiveProjection3:46

After a difficult first five weeks where he was borderline bench-worthy and fantasy managers debated starting him over Tyler Higbee or Terrence Ferguson, Loveland is projected to produce tight end one-level output over the final 11 weeks of the season, potentially paying off his ADP despite the slow start. The speaker expresses conviction in this turnaround, stating 'I'm buying this. This is not noise,' and suggests the bye window is now closed due to confirmation bias from those who believed in him preseason.

Insight page
PositiveRole26:42

Colson Loveland is back but ranks below Isaiah Likely in redraft value; the idea with Loveland is that targets could go to Rome or Luther Burden, and the offense is more funneled through DeAndre Swift, making the target flow less pure than Likely's situation.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeUsage14:00

David Montgomery has been awful in the Packers' run game, contributing to the team's one-dimensional passing attack and high pass volume.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection30:00

Drake May is QB4 and is taken over Brock Purdy; the speaker notes he's got his powers back from the Monstars, suggesting a return to form or improved performance.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeProjection26:42

George Kittle is ranked TE3 but is taken below Isaiah Likely in the redraft hierarchy due to Likely's insane target volume and sticky situation.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveUsage26:42

Colson Loveland takes Isaiah Likely over all tight ends except Brock Bowers based on insane target volume: 28.7% target share, 51 targets (second only to Trey McBride), nine fewer receptions but 39 more yards, averaging three more yards per reception, generating four more plays of 20+ yards and one more touchdown than McBride; weeks two to seven only McBride has more targets; Loveland trusts the situation and volume, noting JJ McCarthy is better at football than Carson Beck or Gardner Minshew, so the target volume should remain sticky.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveUsage23:53

Sean Payton force-feeding J.K. Dobbins with 18 and 17 rush attempts the last two weeks, scoring touchdowns in both games for 15 and 13 points respectively; the Seattle Seahawks win will embolden Payton to continue featuring Dobbins, making him the preferred play over Jonah Coleman despite more even opportunity share.

Insight page

Jayden Higgins

NegativeRole11:00

Speaker mentions Jaden Higgins arriving to Texans next year as part of loaded offensive context; will add to receiving distribution alongside Marvin Harrison Jr., Tank Dell, and CJ Stroud.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveProjection23:45

Colson Loveland still taking ceiling on Love at this point; only significant injury would change the outlook.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveProjection30:00

Joe Burrow is QB13 but is taken over Brock Purdy; the speaker notes that being QB13 is a complete outlier and suggests Burrow should be ranked higher.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeRole23:53

Colson Loveland is the biggest Jonah Coleman truther and wants Coleman to happen, but right now opportunity share is more even between Coleman and Dobbins, so Loveland is leaning Dobbins for redraft purposes.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeRole5:28

A rumor suggests Jonathan Taylor could join the Seattle Seahawks to replace Kenneth Walker, but the speaker expresses skepticism about this scenario. Seattle runs a committee approach regardless of draft capital or player explosiveness, and the question remains whether Taylor would receive the three-down utilization he had last year when he was on a 25-point-per-game pace for the first 10 weeks, or revert to the committee usage pattern Seattle employed with Walker and Zach Charbonnet.

Insight page
NegativeRole7:30

Speaker poses question about whether Jonathan Taylor will assume full backfield role following Zach Charbonnet's injury, or if Charbonnet will retain the role he held before injury. No definitive stance given; framed as open question for audience.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveProjection13:00

Jordan Love is favored over CJ Stroud for rest-of-season quarterback play due to the Packers' high-volume passing offense and favorable game scripts. The Packers are expected to generate 45–50 point over-under totals rest of season, similar to the Bengals' shootout profile, versus the Texans' more variable game flow. Love benefits from Matthew Golden's emergence as a second wide receiver alongside Christian Watson and the undercurrent of Tucker Craft. The Packers' one-dimensional passing attack (due to an awful run game) ensures consistent volume for Love.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeRole13:00

Josh Jacobs' return to the Packers could put a dent into Jordan Love's ceiling by reducing the team's one-dimensional passing attack and creating more balanced game scripts.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeRole5:28

Kenneth Walker was part of Seattle's committee approach at running back, sharing carries with Zach Charbonnet. The Seahawks' pattern of running a committee with impunity is cited as evidence that even high draft capital or explosive talent does not guarantee three-down utilization in their system.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeRole24:48

Colson Loveland draws the line at Luther Burden and prefers Trey Tucker over him; while Loveland wants Burden to happen, the week-over-week viability in the Bears passing attack remains to be seen, and he likes the confidence with Kirk Cousins crushing and delaying Fernando Mendoza's emergence.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeDepth Chart26:42

Mark Andrews was traded away, allowing Isaiah Likely to become the unadulterated tight end one for the Ravens; the speaker notes this as a rare satisfaction where a buried tight end finally gets the opportunity to be a true TE1.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveRole8:12

Moved around more in slot alignment with CJ Stroud in London game (9 routes, 3 targets, 4 receptions, 34 yards); speaker notes this is a quick one-week adjustment and expects more production with additional time. Texans schedule features Week 7 matchup vs. Giants.

Insight page
NegativeProjection9:00

Speaker takes bullish stance on Harrison Jr. despite bearish surface-level stats; targets consistent 10-point double-digit games as baseline, with growth trajectory toward 12–15 points and eventual 21–25 point blow-up weeks. Acknowledges some regression in development but believes all signals point to improvement; would hold in dynasty and not sell at current price. Notes Tank Dell returning and Jaden Higgins arriving next year will create loaded offense, but CJ Stroud benefits most from distribution; expects week-over-week improvement to materialize by back half of season.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveRole13:00

Matthew Golden has really come on as the second wide receiver in the Packers offense alongside Christian Watson, supporting the team's high-volume passing attack.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeRole26:42

Michael Mayer remains buried and may never be detached to be a true tight end one; the speaker uses Mayer as a cautionary example of a player who never gets the opportunity to prove himself as a TE1, contrasting with Isaiah Likely's fortunate situation.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeRole10:00

Speaker notes Nico Collins is still across from Marvin Harrison Jr. in Texans receiving corps; implies Collins remains a target competitor for Stroud's passes.

Insight page
NegativeRole11:11

Nico Collins is the established alpha receiver in the Texans offense, which creates a constraint on target distribution for other pass catchers despite the team's high pass volume.

Insight page
PositiveProjection24:48

Colson Loveland views Nico Collins as an absolute baller with way too much going for him; expects this to go very well for CJ Stroud, making Collins preferable to Trey Tucker.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveMatchup30:00

Parker Washington benefits from Trevor Lawrence's favorable post-bye schedule with full complement of weapons; schedule includes Colts, Ravens (shootout potential), Titans, Giants, Titans again, Bears, Steelers, Texans, Cowboys, and Commanders.

Insight page

Tank Dell

PositiveRole10:30

Speaker notes Tank Dell is expected to return to Texans offense, which will add to receiving distribution alongside Marvin Harrison Jr., CJ Stroud, and incoming Jaden Higgins next year. Framed as part of loaded offensive context that benefits CJ Stroud most.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveProjection24:48

Colson Loveland still trotting out Tee Higgins over Trey Tucker and Luther Burden based on too much career sample size going for Higgins.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

NegativeRole3:46

Terrence Ferguson was started over Colston Loveland by fantasy managers during Loveland's difficult first five weeks, before Ferguson went on injured reserve.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveValue24:48

Colson Loveland prefers Trey Tucker over Luther Burden week-to-week based on game over-under flow and defense strength; will scope matchups and look for Trey Tucker in spots with better over-unders and weaker defenses, though acknowledges Luther Burden could happen and both may be available in lineups simultaneously.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveMatchup30:00

Trevor Lawrence has a favorable schedule post-bye with full complement of weapons; schedule includes Colts, Ravens (shootout potential), Titans, Giants, Titans again, Bears, Steelers, Texans (good conditions), Cowboys, and Commanders; this schedule favors both Parker Washington and Trevor Lawrence, making him preferable to Brock Purdy.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveUsage26:42

Trey McBride has nine targets or more in all six games, with 10 or more targets in every game besides last week, hovering between 10 and 13 targets; the speaker takes McBride over Isaiah Likely but will monitor the quarterback fallout situation (JJ McCarthy, Jameis Winston continuity versus Carson Beck or Gardner Minshew), noting that both McCarthy and Winston hyper-target Likely, making it phenomenal for Likely if the QB situation changes.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveRole13:35

Tucker Craft is an undercurrent in the Packers passing game, contributing to the team's high-volume passing offense alongside Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeRole3:46

Tyler Higbee was mentioned as a tight end option that fantasy managers were considering starting over Colston Loveland during Loveland's slow start in the first five weeks of the season.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeBust14:00

Woody Marks was identified as an excellent fade by the speakers, indicating poor performance or limited upside in fantasy.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeRole5:28

Zach Charbonnet shares running back duties with Kenneth Walker in Seattle's committee approach. The speaker references the Seahawks' pattern of running a committee regardless of draft capital or player talent, suggesting that if Jonathan Taylor joins Seattle, he may face similar usage limitations rather than receiving full three-down utilization.

Insight page
NegativeRole7:30

Speaker poses question about whether Zach Charbonnet will retain the backfield role he held before injury, or if Jonathan Taylor will assume full role. No definitive stance given; framed as open question for audience.

0:00Welcome back to another episode of the Redraft Show brought to you by the FFD Dynasty and the FFD Fantasy and today
0:08we're gonna go what are we doing? What are we doing?
0:12What's the goal? We're gonna react to week six I've got some what are we doing questions here and then we're gonna
0:19go with this or that but before I do that I must ask how are you today?
0:25Coach Shepley? Oh that beautiful I doing well I think a lot of what's going on is we're in the heap of
0:33injury reactions we had Devante Adams Terry McLaurin go down this has been a weekly theme but I think we're hardened to
0:41the fact that it's all happening in rapid formation and it's not just happening to you it's happening to your league mates
0:48somewhere at some point one team in your league has gotten got maybe multiple times by injury.
0:54If you have not been snake bit by injury go play some lottery tickets but funny enough if you've been snake bit
1:02by the play the play of Colson Loveland what are we doing with Colson Loveland astutely Shev you had Colson Loveland remember
1:10he would be round two and tight end premium round three or at least he'd be tight end three premium selection in
1:17a lot of formats especially in these redraft streets which which were germane and talking to.
1:23Colson Loveland high key investment cool outcome this last week week six at the Falcons 18 fantasy points seven targets six receptions
1:3165 yards he had one touchdown had he focused a little better he could have had two.
1:37I'm not saying I'm not salty but you get 18 and a half fantasy points something I want to dial back to
1:44for Colson Loveland and then I want to get your idea on it.
1:49If we look at the Panthers game it was bad objectively the whole planet scored fantasy points against the Panthers in that
1:56game besides Colson Loveland and that's with Caleb Williams so you take that excuse out.
2:02When you go back to the Minnesota game where Caleb Williams got hurt it was rainy it was bad conditions that should
2:09have been a nice little shootout it wasn't so we didn't get delivered the prince that was promised those first two weeks
2:17and then you have to understand and think well between case Keenum Tyson agent agent who really did not flourish you know
2:25we might have to retract the agent agent thing because he really did not prosper like we wanted him to.
2:32But it just it was a bad setup it was a dick ass setup as we like to say goes back to
2:40Atlanta with Caleb Williams now you've got the full suit the full deck to me I'm back in I'm confident plugging Colson Loveland into the lineup.
2:49I think it's just a matter of small sample size early season with Caleb Williams and then it was dog water with
2:56the backup quarterback situation now that Caleb Williams is back in formation.
3:00I think you're going to get a little bit earlier of a push from Colson Loveland than you had in this rookie season.
3:09So I'm back in I'm confident where I've got him.
3:12I'm putting him in the lineup. Shev what say you listen we what this what this is going to boil down to
3:20is condensing a lot of fantasy points into a truncated season so we've got basically 11 weeks left.
3:26They still got their by I believe the by is week 10.
3:30So we're looking at we're looking at probably him giving us what a Rondé Gadsden gave us in middle of the season
3:38last year where he's basically going to be like the tight end one, but we're going to extend that we're going to
3:46extend that we're going to accordion out as you like to say.
3:50And we're going to we're going to we're going to put that into like tight end one production over the course of
3:58the last 11 weeks of the season. So there's a good chance that he could still pay off the ADP if here's
4:05the thing it's kind of like it's kind of like women when they when I get like childbirth and they have that
4:13chemical that makes them forget how painful it was.
4:16What Colson Loveland is going to do on the back half of the season is akin to what like that's what he's going to do to fantasy managers.
4:26He's going to make you forget how painful it was the first five weeks of the season where you basically were asking
4:34should I start Colston Loveland or Tyler Higby. So like that's the point that we got to is it not.
4:41Absolutely. It was almost a bench territory. You're on the bench.
4:44You have another tight end any viable. You're playing Terrence Ferguson before he went on IR over over Colston Loveland once once
4:52once Caleb Williams, you know, caught that case of tenderness.
4:56So you now are going to be in a good spot moving forward.
5:00I think if we the by window is now slammed shut because you have confirmation bias.
5:06Anybody who felt anybody who felt good about Colston Loveland before the season started now.
5:11Hey, they were just walking around just loose noodle limp as could be now bricked up in the cement.
5:18I'll rest of season Colston Loveland. So I'm buying this.
5:21This is not noise. Hey, load up on the beet root juice and you'll be good for some Colston Loveland.
5:28Now, Chev, let's talk about Jonathan Taylor. If the rumor is true, does he get put in the seat chair by the Charbonnator, Zach Charbonnet?
5:37And look, there could be other opportunities, other teams.
5:40But a primary one that went out there is that there's noise about the Seattle Seahawks having free agency remorse.
5:47We let you go remorse. We didn't offer you a grown contract to Kenneth Walker remorse.
5:53You have no opportunity but to go out and get somebody else at this point.
5:58Jonathan Taylor, how do you feel about that scenario?
6:01And let's just pretend in this scenario, Jadarian Price gets sent back over to the Colts because you got to have some
6:09kind of high key investment for Jonathan Taylor both ways.
6:12Yeah. So here's the frustration is a very similar back to the skill set that Jonathan Taylor has was in Seattle last year.
6:20We've seen now that they run a committee with impunity.
6:24It doesn't matter if you draft the guy in the first round.
6:28It doesn't matter if the guy very clearly is one of the most explosive runners in the league.
6:34Like all of these things are true. So that's what makes the Jonathan Taylor rumor make a lot less sense to me.
6:42But I wanted to throw this in here because it does like it begs the question.
6:47Are they going to give him the three down utilization that he had last year when he was on the 25 point
6:55a game pace for the first 10 weeks of the season?
6:59Or are we going to kind of go back to what the way that they use Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet?
7:06So you I want you guys to let us know in the comments what you think plays out here.
7:13Is there a better destination for Jonathan Taylor if the Colts are going to go blow it up and go full rebuild
7:21because of the fact that they don't have a first round pick this year that they traded away for sauce Gardner?
7:28That's just that trade gets worse and worse every single day.
7:32And now that there's like now that the dude that did it is gone.
7:37I bet you he's just laughing in the shadows like some kind of anime character.
7:42But let us know in the comments guys what you think about potentially like would this be Jonathan Taylor's role all to himself?
7:50Or do you think that Zach Charbonnet still keeps the role that he had last year before he was injured?
7:57So I just wanted to pose that question because I'm still parsing through the way that I feel about it.
8:04But we do have a question that I want to pose to you and I want to posit because I'm most interested
8:12in the way that Marvin Harrison looked with CJ Stroud this past Sunday.
8:16Only nine routes three I believe three receptions 34 yards if I'm not mistaken.
8:21Or was it four receptions for 34 yards either way nine routes CJ Stroud targeted three times called three of them 34 yards.
8:29It looked like they were moving him around lining him up in the slot more than he ever did with the University of Arizona small penises.
8:38So I just I mean, it's just a bad organization, man.
8:42I don't know. Like I look at, you know, the Arkansas and Mississippi saying like.
8:47Arkansas is like, well, at least we're not Mississippi.
8:51I'm a Titans fan. At least we're not the Cardinals, man.
8:54That's all I can say about that. So I just want to know, what are your thoughts on Marvin Harrison Jr?
9:02What do you think? What do you think this means for him being back with his college roommate and quarterback and CJ Stroud?
9:10What do you think that means for him the rest of the season?
9:14Well, you have to consider that he went and traveled.
9:18With the Texans going out to London and it's just a quick one week adjustment.
9:23So if we get another week, I think there could be a lot more there for Marvin Harrison Jr.
9:30The schedule shows week seven against the Giants. So you love to see that.
9:35And he went three or four on his targets, 34 receiving yards.
9:39And this is going to sound like a bearish outlook and sentiment.
9:43But to me, it's bullish right now from where Marvin Harrison Jr.
9:47is, Shev. It's the RB2 scenario. Can I get 10 points?
9:51Can I start getting consistently 10 point double digit games from Marvin Harrison Jr.?
9:56And from a growth status standpoint, can that start increasing to 12 and 14 and 15 and then get our blow up weeks where we get our 21s?
10:06We get our 25 point games because you are still across from Nico Collins.
10:11Jalen Noel thrived in the slot. So I think there's still going to have to be some design structure and some growth for Marvin Harrison Jr.
10:20I would venture to say there was some regression to his development that hindered him.
10:25But I don't think it's just going to be undone immediately for Marv.
10:30But everything is going in the right direction. He would be a dynasty hold for me.
10:35I would not sell at this point if you've held long enough.
10:39It's painful enough to where you should see it through to see a bullish outcome.
10:45But to get to the week over week, I think it's going to take some time.
10:50But all the signal chef points to because we're hearing that Tank Dell is going to be coming back.
10:57And then, of course, next year you have Jaden Higgins.
11:00This is going to be a loaded offense where the distribution, you know, the phrase too many mouths to feed.
11:07It's only going to benefit for a fact. CJ Stroud.
11:11CJ Oro Stroud. He's getting it back. And you love to see it getting his teammate back.
11:17Marv. Excellent player. But I think, can we just start filling in the 10-pointers to where, hey, I'm confident to put him
11:25in my lineup on a week-in, week-out basis. I think we can get there, start there.
11:30And then the back part of the season, let's see the schedule.
11:34Week 14 at the Commanders. Jaguars 15, which that could be another nice, decent shootout.
11:40Philadelphia week 16. They're falling apart. And then Green Bay, they're not really stopping too many people against when there's a competent offense.
11:48That's week 17. So, Shev, I invite your thoughts.
11:51Do you think it's the path where it's grip and rip right now?
11:55Or do you think there's a little bit of up and down to it?
12:00I would like to say it's grip and rip.
12:03But in all truthfulness, there's going to be so many mouths to feed.
12:08And we know that Nico is the established alpha.
12:11So, it's kind of hard. Now, the Texans are quietly, I believe, seventh.
12:16Or CJ Stroud is seventh in pass attempts in the entire NFL.
12:20And this is a defense in a team that we thought was going to be extremely run, run the ball, play defense.
12:27It's just not happening that way. They were ninth in attempts in the league last year.
12:33And he's seventh this year. So, they're trusting CJ Stroud, even though everybody on the internet was telling you that he's not worthy of playing.
12:42Which leads me into my next point, Jeremiah. Coach Shev laughed.
12:46Where are you going? You got two choices. You got a fork in the road.
12:51One of them is CJ Stroud. And the other one is Jordan Love.
12:55Which one are you taking as your quarterback, single quarterback league, rest of season?
13:00With Josh Jacobs coming back, that could put a little bit of a dent into Jordan Love.
13:06I just think the way the Packers are just finessing so well.
13:11Matthew Golden has really come on as that second wide receiver to Christian Watson.
13:15Then you just have the undercurrent of Tucker Craft.
13:19I'm going to favor that just a little bit more.
13:22Just for the fact that the Texans can get right defensively.
13:26And it can truncate a little bit of that ceiling that CJ Stroud has.
13:31So, I think you're going to get more 45 to 50 point over-under totals the rest of the season for the Green Bay Packers.
13:39Because they're kind of doing what the Bengals are like.
13:43Hey, we got to come back onto the field.
13:46Like, we're giving up the points. Versus the Texans, I don't think it's going to be always shooting out both ways.
13:53So, that's where I siphon it just a little bit.
13:57But right now, you would imagine with how one-dimensional the Packers have been with passing.
14:02Because their run game has been awful. To CJ Stroud, where, hey, David Montgomery has been awful.
14:08Woody Marks, who Shev, you and I had as an excellent fade.
14:12Mm-hmm. But I'm going to go with Jordan Love.
14:15But it's so funny that you're asking this question.
14:18And it is close enough. Because in the offseason, we deliberated CJ Stroud versus Jordan Love so much.
14:25So, where do you come out on it? I'd go CJ Stroud.
14:29I think that this is the season that we were promised in 2024.
14:33We just got to – I mean, we always talk about being delayed and not denied.
14:39Like, we knew CJ Stroud was a hooper. He just stopped hooping for a little while.
14:45It happens with young quarterbacks. So, I'm going with CJ Stroud.
14:48I believe the ascension is real. I think that he has a big enough chip on his shoulder and it's bag season.
14:56So, I'm going to go with CJ Stroud. I think that this pass volume, no matter what, because they haven't been able
15:04to run the ball effectively, they're going to have to continue to throw the ball.
15:09And we just mentioned literally all of the weapons.
15:12Foster Moreau, Dalton Schultz, no run game. Then Tank Dell, Tankhevious is going to be back this week.
15:19See, Nico Collins, we know what that is. Marvin Harrison can actually play football.
15:23Go imagine that. You still got the booty warrior.
15:27Like, you got Jalen Noel. This is – they have a nuclear cabinet of weapons here.
15:32And that excites me in a way that I just – I love the truncated and condensed target share that goes with
15:40Jordan Love with the thruffle of Tucker Craft and Christian Watson and Matthew Golden would love to get a little bit more Tucker Craft in my life.
15:49But I – this Houston offense is going to end up being one of the best offenses in the league, I think.
15:57And the Green Bay Packers are as well. But I would – I think that CJ Stroud is going to be a
16:05little bit more sticky, especially when you mentioned Josh Jacobs coming back, that putting a little bit of a – maybe lowering the pass volume.
16:13He scored 28 touchdowns in the last two years.
16:17Obviously, that's taking – you know, that's taking money out of CJ – or out of Jordan Love's pocket from a touchdown perspective.
16:25So, I go CJ Stroud here. But – but we're going to close this out real quick.
16:31Just real quick, are you buying or selling Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely, the tight end one overall, and the wide receiver
16:38three over the course – I believe he's the wide receiver two over the course of the last two weeks.
16:45I mean, 35 targets, 20-some-odd receptions, over 300 yards, and a touchdown.
16:49Are you buying or selling Malik Neighbors and tight end one overall, Isaiah Likely, with J.J.
16:55McCarthy with nine as the starter? Yes. And I love it with Jameis Winston.
17:00If it ain't broke, don't fix it. A little corollary.
17:03I mentioned in the preseason where, look, if Geno Smith jets, they're going to run it like the East Coast version of the Cardinals last year.
17:13And I said all offseason, we're going to get to a point where we're going to want all these Jets players ascending
17:20in this offense, this youthful offense, which we saw Omar Cooper, Ken Yon-Sadiq, Garrett Wilson going well.
17:26Reese Hall's going to come back. Braylon Allen looks amazing.
17:30While they're going to go and want to get a franchise quarterback, we are going to want Geno Smith.
17:36Even if we don't want Geno Smith as our fantasy quarterback, we're going to want him viable for the Jets.
17:43Where this circles around to is I see similarities there where we want, ideally, Jameis Winston until Jackson Dart comes back to be the guy.
17:52Because if it ain't broke, don't fix it. We don't want it fixed.
17:57So the threat here is at nine, J.J. McCarthy comes in and breaks some of what's going on with Jameis Winston.
18:04I saw enough to be hopeful in that game to where I'm not going to be fearful.
18:10We don't play fearful. I'm not giving up a prospect like Malik Nabors.
18:14And I'm going to have a death grip on a tight end in a high throw volume mode offense where the running
18:22back position is regressing with Cam Skadabo, which we'll get into.
18:26Give me that. But I'm keeping Isaiah Likely. He's the tight end one in fantasy football.
18:32And I'm not ready for a dent in the can.
18:35I don't expect a dent in the can. I'm going to keep going full bore, full confidence with the two of them, knowing, ready, chef?
18:44If J.J. McCarthy regresses this offense at all, they can pull the plug.
18:48Teams have pulled up. The Vikings have already done that to J.J.
18:53McCarthy. Put him down the pecking order. They can run Jameis Winston back out at any time.
18:59So I'm happy to keep running with Nabors and Likely.
19:02How about you? I think I'll buy it, but I just don't.
19:06It's going to be a lot more volatile than it will.
19:10Hell, it's going to be volatile with Jameis Winston anyway.
19:14So I think it could be pretty good. I just, I think it hurts.
19:18I think it's going to hurt Isaiah Likely more because J.J.
19:22McCarthy struggled to put the ball between the numbers, complete passes between the numbers last year.
19:28That was famously an issue of his. So I'll buy it, but I'm just slightly lowering my expectations for Isaiah Likely.
19:35So why don't we move into this or that?
19:38You've got some interesting names here that we'll run through.
19:42We're not going to keep you guys super long, but we do need to give you the this or that.
19:49So why don't you lead it off and tell us what's this business you got going on here with the running back position?
19:57We got this or that, Shev, with Blake Corum, who's right now the RB28.
20:02Last two weeks, the stimulus to this, 16 and 14 fantasy points, 27 and 28% snap share.
20:08So limited snap share, but making the most of the opportunity is Blake Corum getting circulated a little bit more into this
20:15offense, which we did predict in the offseason. You're just going to get a little bit more Blake Corum.
20:22And the feeling sentiment would be that's going to put a dent into Kyron Williams.
20:27So Shev, what are we doing with? And these are names.
20:31This is a fun part. This or that. Cam Scadbo, RB29.
20:35He's been benched. Tony Pollard, RB30. Jeremiah Love, RB31.
20:38Who would ever thought we would make this discussion?
20:41And J.K. Dobbins, RB32. Jonah Coleman should be coming off IR this week.
20:46Break it down. Oh, my God. Okay. So I'm going to be honest with you.
20:51Straight up not having a good time with Cam Scadbo right now.
20:55John Harbaugh, whichever one that the one that is in New York.
21:00I don't know which one that is. The Harbaugh brother is just straight up making us not have a good time with Cam Scadbo.
21:08Just shut up. Give him the football. Get out of the way.
21:12But if we're not going to do that, then I'm forced.
21:16If he's going to be in a power throuple committee now, you did see that they released Najee Harris earlier.
21:23So the clarity is revealing itself. And I think that maybe Tyrone Tracy takes a step forward in this backfield.
21:30And we're in the twilight zone because if he fumbles, which he had issues with fumble light is then we're just so I'm going to go Blake Corum.
21:40We know Blake Corum is going to get his touches be at eight, be at 14.
21:45I think with the with the absence of Devontae Adams for six to 10 weeks, they go back to their 2024 form
21:53where they ran the ball at the highest rate in the entire NFL inside the five yard line, which could prove for
22:01utility last year when they didn't run the ball as much.
22:05There was a 52% inside the five rate for Kyron Williams and almost a 40% rate for Blake Corum.
22:11So with that being the case, I think he has flex floor with RB to potentially RB one viability.
22:18And he's the highest upside handcuff in the entire NFL.
22:21So I have to go Blake Corum here now with the rest of these.
22:26I'm taking just the ceiling on the offense over over Tony Pollard.
22:31I'm taking I'm not taking him over Jeremiah Love.
22:34I can't. I just can't. I wish I could quit you, but I can't.
22:39OK, and then yeah, easily over J.K. Dobbins. I don't know what's going on there.
22:44RJ Harvey good at football. J.K. Dobbins running like he's stuck in the mud.
22:49Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, like unhitch the trailer, big dog.
22:56All right. So where do you land on this?
22:59We're going to see more Tyrone Tracy. It's going to be a dick ass setup for the Giants backfield.
23:06We hear that Cam Scadabo was mouthing off too much.
23:09Like, hey, man, not good energy at all. Immaturity.
23:12I go Blake Corum over Scat. I go Blake Corum over Tony Pollard.
23:17There's a reason. Blake Corum was around eight player.
23:20One of the most expensive, quote unquote, handcuffs or flex cuffs.
23:24Tough scene. And Tony Pollard just does not bring ceiling.
23:28The only caveat would be if there were a trade to a contender where Tony Pollard arises, maybe the pricing on Saquon
23:35Barkley or Jonathan Taylor is too expensive. And Pollard gets freed up because he's not going to be part of the Titans build chef for long term.
23:45Jeremiah Love. Love. The only thing that would have to happen would be significant injury.
23:50At this point, I'm still taking ceiling on Love.
23:53But J.K. Dobbins. That's where I vary with you.
23:56Not because I agree with it, but because Sean Payton.
24:00It's a Sean Payton issue. The last two weeks, still trotting out J.K.
24:04Dobbins, force feeding him to the tune of 18 and 17 rush attempts the last two weeks.
24:10Touchdowns in both games and 15 and 13 points respectively.
24:14They beat the Seattle Seahawks, which was just a bona fide excellent win.
24:18It's a great program win, right? Problem is that is going to embolden Sean Payton to the opportunity that will foster J.K.
24:26Dobbins. J.K. Dobbins still good enough to do well and clearly in the eyes to do well for Sean Payton.
24:33So I will choose reluctantly J.K. Dobbins. And I am the biggest Jonah Coleman truther.
24:38I want Jonah Coleman to happen. But right now for opportunity share, it's a little more even between Coleman and Dobbins, but I'm going to lean Dobbins.
24:48Now, Shev, Trey Tucker, wide receiver 18. And here are some names you never thought you'd say next to Trey Tucker, but
24:55wide receiver 19, Tee Higgins, Nico Collins, wide receiver 20, Luther Burden 21.
25:00Who do you got? Trey Tucker amongst those three.
25:03I'm going to just answer this real quick and cede the floor to you.
25:08I'm taking all three of those guys over Trey Tucker.
25:11Talk to me. Talk to me off the ledge.
25:15Am I crazy? I draw the line right now at Luther Burden.
25:19I draw the line at Luther Burden. I'm still going to trot out Tee Higgins.
25:24We have too much sample career size on Tee Higgins.
25:27Way too much going for Nico Collins where it's like, this is about to go very well for CJ Stroud.
25:34Nico Collins, absolute baller. I do see it more even Trey Tucker versus Luther Burden.
25:40I'm going to look at the over-under flow of the game.
25:44And if I see a better over-under, a weaker defense, I'm going to go after some Trey Tucker in some spots.
25:51Now, fortunately, in many cases where you have Trey Tucker and Luther Burden, you probably have an opportunity to put them both in your lineup.
26:00But week to week, I'm going to be scoping and I'm going to be looking for some Trey Tucker.
26:06Do I want Luther Burden to happen? Yes. But the week-over-week viability in this Bears passing attack does remain to be seen.
26:14And I like the idea of the confidence with Kirk Cousins, who's just been absolutely crushing and delaying Fernando Mendoza coming on the scene.
26:22I'm going to go Trey Tucker over Luther Burden right now.
26:26I'm going to slot him just above and call it week to week.
26:31Be mindful it could change in a couple weeks.
26:34But right now, I want some Trey Tucker. Now, tight end.
26:38We talked about it some. Are we in or out on Isaiah Likely?
26:42He's a tight end one. On the gamut, the big dogs.
26:46Trey McBride, tight end two. Brock Bowers, tight end four.
26:50George Kittle, tight end three. And then let's throw in Colson Loveland, who's back, baby.
26:55Who are you taking? Isaiah Likely or all of those?
26:58Oh, yeah. It's going to be it's going to be.
27:02I'll take. I didn't expect. I didn't expect this to cause me this much pain, but I'll have to take.
27:09I'll have to take Isaiah Likely over everybody not named Brock Bowers.
27:13Now, my logic, my logic being that my logic being that he gets insane target volume.
27:19Like, let me just allow me to just give you his his target pace with with Jameis Winston coming in and essentially playing since week two.
27:28Okay. So 28.7% target share. 51 targets, which is second only to Trey McBride.
27:33He has nine less receptions, but he has nine less receptions, but 25 or excuse me, 39 more yards.
27:39He averages. He's averaged three more yards of reception and generated four, three more plays of 20 plus yards and one more touchdown than Trey McBride.
27:48And we have the the the quiet musings and reckonings that there's a change coming at Arizona in Arizona, the Arizona small penises.
27:57So there if it's Carson Beck or Gardner Minshew, all of a sudden we back we're back to the Kyler problem, but with like a way worse quarterback.
28:06So I have to go Isaiah Likely. There's one thing I know.
28:10JJ McCarthy is better at football and JJ McCarthy and Jameis Winston are better at football than Carson Beck and Gardner Minshew.
28:18We can be certain about this. So I just trust I trust the situation.
28:23I trust the insane target volume like this is this is just nuts.
28:28So, yeah, weeks two to seven. Only Trey McBride has more targets.
28:32This is ridiculous. So, yeah, I'm going to go Isaiah Likely.
28:36I think this is sticky. I don't think it's going anywhere.
28:40I don't think it's going to change. What about you?
28:43Yeah, with Trey McBride, all six games, nine targets or more in every other game besides just last week, he had 10 or more targets.
28:52So anywhere hovering between 10 and 13. This is still Trey McBride.
28:56I'm going to take Trey McBride, but I'm going to be monitoring exactly what you said.
29:02The quarterback fallout situation, at least this pendulum of J.J.
29:05McCarthy, Jameis Winston, six, seven, nine. Okay. You have just continuity of you can fall into a ditch and it's like, hey,
29:13Jameis Winston is hyper targeting Isaiah Likely. J.J. McCarthy is hyper targeting Isaiah Likely.
29:18So this is just phenomenal for Isaiah Likely. It's Bowers, McBride, Likely.
29:22It's pendulum shift on that quarterback outlook when that does happen, if that does happen.
29:27But I'm still rolling with McBride, riding with McBride.
29:30And then I take Likely, though, over Kittle and over Colson Loveland.
29:34The idea with Colson Loveland is it could be Rome.
29:38It could be Luther Burden. It's just more funneled through DeAndre Swift.
29:42Right now, it is going so pure for Isaiah Likely.
29:46And it speaks to the fact that he's a tight end one.
29:50And it's really neat. We don't always get the satisfaction of the split off where it was he and Mark Andrews.
29:57And for a bit, hey, we'll trade Mark Andrews.
30:00Hey, get him traded away. And then it's likely show.
30:04Well, it didn't happen. That wasn't the route. Ends up on the Giants.
30:08Finally, unadulterated goodness. You get guys buried. Like right now, Michael Mayer.
30:13Will he ever be detached and be a true tight end one?
30:17It's like Pinocchio where he's like, I want to be a real boy.
30:21Like, we don't know. If we'll ever get that.
30:24With Likely, fortunately, we've been able to get that opportunity.
30:28So it's an absolute blessing because we always have these sentiments and thoughts.
30:33And sometimes we never get to find that out, Shev.
30:36Now, I know you're proud of this one. Great call by you.
30:40You talked him up so much. And we've talked about MVP odds.
30:44Who, I don't see how he's not the lead for MVP odds.
30:49The one non-quarterback, I do think Kenneth Walker. But because this is so slanted towards quarterbacks, Brock Purdy.
30:55QB2 right now. Or do you go Trevor Lawrence, QB3, who had a great game last week.
31:01Drake May, QB4. Joe Burrow, QB13. Or Caleb Williams, who small sample size, 20.8 fantasy points per game.
31:07Who you got? I'm going to have to, with all of the injuries that the 49ers have suffered, I'm going to have
31:15to, I think we're going to be in for a rough month.
31:19For one gloctavius. So I'll go, I'll go with all these guys over Brock Purdy right now.
31:25Yeah. Yeah. So life comes at you fast, doesn't it?
31:28Yeah. I mean, he's going, here's the deal. He's going to have about a 7% touchdown rate.
31:34He's done it. He's done it twice and then been at 6.98 one another year.
31:40And you have Trevor Lawrence, full complement of weapons.
31:43You have Drake May. He's got his powers back from the Monstars.
31:47Joe Burrow being QB13 is a complete outlier. And Caleb with, if, if, if, this is a big if, the rushing utility comes back.
31:55And even if it doesn't, I mean, if he's able to do what he did against the Falcons, the Falcons have been
32:03one of the highest pressure rate teams. He's able to stay in the pocket, stand tall and deliver the football and just navigate the pocket.
32:12Kind of like Lamar did with the hamstring injury last year.
32:16It's going to be really good because he has a special howitzer of a foot, like of an arm to throw footballs.
32:23So with that being the case, yes, I'm taking all four quarterbacks over Glock Tavius, the current quarterback to right now today.
32:31Well, the closest one to, so let's go with your argument that you take those four over.
32:37But something for the audience to think about here is Trevor Lawrence versus Brock Purdy, because that's where to me it gets close.
32:45You make a great point about the injury route.
32:48What's going on with the electric substation is not good for sustainability for Brock Purdy.
32:53I do look and say, oh, well, maybe Trevor Lawrence, you would do Brock Purdy over him.
32:59But when he comes back from his buy chef, gets the Colts at the Ravens, which the Ravens has been a lot of back and forth.
33:09Like they can be a shootout team to go through with week 10 at the Titans, week 11 at the Giants.
33:16Like, yes, thank you, God. Get the Titans again in week 12 at the Bears week 13.
33:22Maybe if the only thing I could get in the way of that being a shootout would be weather.
33:28Steelers week 14. Sure. 15 at Houston. That was a pretty good game this last week.
33:34I'd venture to say it would be good conditions there.
33:38And then week 16 and 17 at the Cowboys and home versus the Commanders.
33:42That is a right schedule for both Parker Washington and for Trevor Lawrence.
33:47So we're going to go with your point of taking those quarterbacks over Brock Purdy.
33:52I think the audience, a lot of people will say, well, you know, Brock Purdy over Trevor Lawrence.
33:59I would take a look at that schedule that Trevor Lawrence has and the assembly.
34:04Of the supporting cast. That can favor health right now as it sits.
34:08That could change. But yeah, I'm with you on that.
34:12So love these calls, Chev. This or that. What are we doing?
