Alvin Kamara

NegativeUsage3:15

Kamara dealt with a back injury and received a 27% snap share last week but still produced 14 fantasy points; he looks effective catching the football out of the backfield, though the Saints are managing his workload early in the season.

Insight page
NegativeUsage3:15

Alvin Kamara is dealing with a back injury and clearly not getting the lion's share of carries; despite a 27% snap share last week, he scored 14 fantasy points and catches the football.

Insight page
NegativeProjection5:01

Kamara is ranked outside the top 25 running backs in current fantasy rankings; he's producing as a low-end RB2 (RB26-RB30 range) week-to-week despite his talent.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveValue23:58

Source prefers Antonio Williams over Omar Cooper in the 9-11% FAB range; has watched him every week and loves the player. With Terry McLaurin injury, Williams enters a great spot and is a buy candidate. Source emphasizes this is the perfect time to add or buy Antonio Williams.

Insight page
PositiveValue24:09

The source identifies Antonio Williams as a buy-low target on the waiver wire, recommending this as the optimal time to acquire him due to favorable circumstances.

Insight page

Bam Knight

NegativeRole66:08

Zonovan Knight has emerged as the primary back in the backfield, displacing Tyler Algier. The source indicates Knight is now the featured option but still recommends fading the entire backfield against the Broncos.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveUsage71:56

Corum's snap/carry share trended upward through the season; while he never reached a true 50-50 split with Kyron Alexander, his opportunities increased significantly down the stretch, with one game at 46% and most others in the 30-37% range. This usage trend correlated with multiple 10, 12, 14-plus fantasy point outputs late in the year, suggesting opportunities are ticking up. The source expects this trend to continue, particularly if the Rams shift offensive approach without Devontae Adams.

Insight page
PositiveProjection73:30

The source projects Corum could be a consistent top-20 or even top-24 option week-to-week in the Rams' rare offensive system, particularly if he receives 2-3 additional carries per game following Devontae Adams' departure. This is framed as a rare backfield situation where both Corum and Alexander can simultaneously produce at high levels due to the system, coaching, and coordinator.

Insight page
NegativeValue74:22

The source was selling Corum on a perceived high before the Devontae Adams trade news, pivoting to more predictable top-12 running backs. However, post-Adams, the source is reconsidering and willing to play Corum in flex or even running back spots, pending observation of the first game without Adams to assess the actual usage shift.

Insight page

Brandin Cooks

NegativeRole43:13

Source does not trust Brandon Cooks in the 49ers offense; prefers Jordan Watkins or Jacob Cowan as alternatives, citing that Cooks lacks the burst and acceleration of those younger receivers who have shown better connection with Brock Purdy when targeted.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection44:04

Brock Purdy is playing at an elite level; he set the record for highest QBR in first 50 career games. Through his 51st start, Purdy has 30 games with 100+ passer rating (59% of starts), compared to Tom Brady's 40th such game coming in his 100th start. If Purdy maintains his current trajectory, he will reach top-10 all-time in 100+ passer rating performances by age 32, ahead of Matthew Stafford, Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins, Steve Young, and in Big Ben Roethlisberger territory. Source emphasizes Purdy is 'playing at an all time level right now, dealing with all of these injuries around him.'

Insight page
PositiveProjection45:15

Brock Purdy is playing at an all-time level by age 32 pace, ahead of Matthew Stafford, Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins, and Steve Young—Roethlisberger territory. Despite injuries around him, the source projects the 49ers will score 28–31 points regardless of where touchdowns come from, making Purdy a top-five quarterback and no-doubt start. The source emphasizes the perfect marriage between Purdy and Kyle Shanahan as a package deal.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection54:03

C.J. Stroud has been awesome and is a QB1. The source loves Stroud this week in a soft matchup at home against the Giants indoors.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeUsage42:57

Debo Samuel's return from injury would impact Christian McCaffrey's target share week-to-week in the 49ers offense.

Insight page
PositiveRole46:03

Christian McCaffrey remains a key part of Brock Purdy's supporting cast that elevates Purdy to top-five quarterback status. The source notes that Purdy doesn't need the receivers because he still has McCaffrey and George Kittle, reinforcing McCaffrey's role as a foundational piece of the 49ers offense.

Insight page

CJ Donaldson

NegativeRole4:22

Donaldson, a pre-draft prospect from Ohio State who impressed in the pre-draft process, is doing more than initially expected but remains not fantasy playable.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeRole54:31

David Montgomery's status is uncertain. If he misses, Woody Marks becomes a straight play; if Montgomery plays, both he and Marks are avoids for the source.

Insight page

David Njoku

PositiveMatchup51:33

Houston's defense has been poor against wide receivers all year; the source's roster watch matchup tool rates it as a top-five matchup of the week for receivers. Despite concerns about Derek Stingley, receivers find ways to get open and produce against this defense.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveRole42:57

Source loves Debo Samuel in a 'standalone alpha role' in the 49ers offense if he returns from injury; however, his return would impact Christian McCaffrey's target share week-to-week.

Insight page

Deion Burks

NegativeRole9:54

Following the Colts' firing of Chris Ballard and interim coaching change, the source suggests there may be slightly more opportunity for Deion Burks in the offense, though no major in-game heuristics are expected to change.

Insight page
PositiveRole9:58

The source expects to see a little bit more Deion Burks in the Colts offense following the interim GM change; Burks had a nice catch down the field last week and is positioned for increased opportunity.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeRole32:23

Denzel Boston is mentioned in the context of Browns receivers; the source suggests that in redraft leagues, if a trade offer for one of the Browns receivers looks advantageous in the short term, it may be worth considering, though the source is not making a specific stance on Boston himself.

Insight page
NegativeProjection66:48

Denzel Boston is ranked just outside the source's top 30 wide receivers, only a few spots below Michael Wilson. The source prefers Wilson over Boston in this matchup.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeUsage7:21

Despite being force-fed targets by the Steelers offense, Metcalf's inconsistencies and drops this season have been concerning. Over the last three weeks, his output has been significantly worse than prior performance; he posted essentially a zero in week five. The source notes Metcalf will continue to receive forced targets but emphasizes his unreliability as a reason to prefer Jeremy Bernard in the same offense.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection46:55

Drake London has established himself in the Falcons offense with target share north of 30% over the last month, despite a down week against Washington. The source notes that if London had caught one of Kyle Pitts' two touchdowns, he would have posted a 22-point performance. The source ranks London in the WR9–12 conversation and recommends continuing to trust him against the 49ers despite it being a bottom-eight matchup, positioning him as a high-end WR2 at worst.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveMatchup50:43

The source notes that Drake May is dealing and correlates his strong performance with Hunter Henry's production, suggesting May's play is driving offensive success in the Giants-Texans matchup.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveUsage20:52

Target share and output were neutered last week; has been every-other-week fantasy-friendly over the past month. The addition of Omar Cooper to the offense creates dynamism for Gino Smith but dilutes Wilson's opportunity share.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveRole44:00

George Kittle is a fallback target in the 49ers offense if Debo Samuel is unavailable; source's 'dauber goes to Debo Samuel if he's in and if not Debo, then it just goes Kittle McCaffrey' in terms of receiving upside.

Insight page
PositiveRole46:03

George Kittle is cited as a key supporting piece that makes Brock Purdy a top-five quarterback despite receiver injuries. The source emphasizes that Purdy doesn't need the receivers because he still has McCaffrey and Kittle.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

PositiveMatchup49:06

The source leans toward Hunter Henry over Kyle Pitts in a tight end matchup, citing a strong correlation between Drake May's performance and Henry's production; when Drake May is dealing, Henry produces, and the source expects a good offensive game on Thursday.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveMatchup50:14

The source elevates Isaiah Likely to must-start territory for the Giants-Texans matchup, describing him as 'absolutely electric this year,' indicating strong confidence in his production against Houston.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeMatchup50:31

The source expresses concern about J.J. McCarthy's performance against the Houston Texans defense, drawing a parallel to Dylan Raiola's performance arc where a backup quarterback looked dominant for a half before facing a prepared defense; McCarthy went 18-for-something last week and may regress to 9-for-something this week against a Texans defense that has found its form.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup52:12

The source expresses concern about JJ McCarthy's matchup against Houston's defense, suggesting the defense could 'swallow' him and that he would not perform well in this spot. Prefers Jameis Winston for YOLO upside instead.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeRole63:51

Dobbins has looked ineffective ('dusty') despite recent force-feeding of opportunities under Sean Payton's play-calling. The source flags a 'blinking red light' on his usage, noting that in recent weeks he's posted 10-13% target share (down from 0% in week two) and faces significant downside when Jonah Coleman returns. The source projects him around RB34-36 but expresses concern he could lose touches entirely, and plans to avoid the Broncos backfield outside of specific game scripts.

Insight page

Jaleel McLaughlin

NegativeUsage28:12

Jaleel McLaughlin had nine fantasy points last week in the absence of Quinshaw Judkins, indicating limited backup value in the Browns' running back rotation.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

PositiveMatchup52:12

The source prefers Jameis Winston over JJ McCarthy for this week, believing Winston could do more with YOLO ball against Houston's defense.

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeRole1:35

James Cook is on bye in Week 7 and will need to be replaced in fantasy lineups for the Buffalo Bills bye week.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeRole1:35

Jaden Daniels is on bye in Week 7 and will need to be replaced in fantasy lineups for the Washington Commanders bye week.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveMatchup62:45

Waddle faces a favorable playoff schedule with back-to-back games against Vegas and Buffalo secondaries, followed by a Patriots matchup. The source projects strong target volume against these defenses and views him as a buy for both contenders (who can stash him) and teams needing immediate wins, making him an ideal fit across roster constructions.

Insight page
NegativeProjection66:48

Jaylen Waddle is ranked at wide receiver 28, just two spots below Michael Wilson. The source indicates the rankings are getting close between these receivers but still prefers Wilson this week.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveProjection8:00

The source ranks Jalen Warren as RB12 this week in a matchup against the Saints, noting he is a difference maker in the Steelers offense. Despite Rico Dowdle taking some carries, the source advises Warren remains a must-roster player and suggests trading for Dowdle on the low if you own Warren. The Saints matchup is favorable; recent overseas games have produced big running back performances.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

PositiveBreakout31:42

Jerry Judy has shown raw participation and rising target share; the source is monitoring him as a potential play for the rest of the season, noting that when the team wants to play him in big spots, he makes plays, and he can provide 8–14 points per game, making him playable despite recent inconsistency.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveRole63:23

Coleman's practice window could open soon. In week two (his only prior usage game), he posted a 42% snap share, 42% rush share, and 11% target share versus J.K. Dobbins' 32% snap share and 0% target share. The source expects similar usage patterns upon return and views Coleman as a potential buy, though projects him around RB34-36 due to uncertainty in Sean Payton's backfield management.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeMatchup11:01

Jonathan Taylor faces a tough matchup against the Vikings defense, which will look to pressure Daniel Jones and eliminate the run game. The source cites historical precedent: in Week 3 against a similar defensive approach, Taylor had 85% of snaps and 77% of carries but finished with only 9 fantasy points (RB27) due to lack of end-zone production; in Week 5 he finished RB25 with 10 fantasy points. These 9-10 point outputs are well within Taylor's range of outcomes against the Vikings.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeInjury12:54

Jordan Addison has a hamstring injury that needs to be monitored coming out of the Cardinals bye week.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveInjury12:54

Jordan Mason should be back potentially this week coming out of the Cardinals bye, which should help the offense reach its healthiest form of the season.

Insight page

Jordan Watkins

PositiveRole43:13

Jordan Watkins is preferred over Brandon Cooks in the 49ers offense; source notes Watkins had 91% route participation last week and has more burst and acceleration, showing a decent connection with Brock Purdy when targeted.

Insight page

Jordan Whittington

NegativeRole69:12

The source notes that Jordan Whittington would theoretically get a bump in total output from Devontae Adams' injury, but indicates that Canyano Mumfeld is currently running ahead of Whittington in the pecking order for target opportunities.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveValue23:18

High-priority waiver target if available; not practicing this week per Mickey Loomis, but source views this as maintenance to get him ready for return. Positioned in the top tier of waiver adds this week.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeRole1:35

Josh Allen is on bye in Week 7 and will need to be replaced in fantasy lineups for the Buffalo Bills bye week.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveProjection10:10

Josh Downs has continued to produce at a mild level when healthy; the source notes that over the last five games he has received consistent target volume (9, 11, 4, 6, 8 targets) but the targets are not converting to production. The source believes if Shane Steichen can dial up the offense and potentially move Keenan Allen, there could be better days ahead for Downs despite this week being a tough matchup against the Vikings.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveProjection5:15

Johnson started the year hot, cooled off, and is expected to get a bounce-back performance in week seven; he's ranked just outside the tight end one range and could move into that tier if Tyler Warren misses.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeRole11:52

The source suggests that Keenan Allen should be shipped off from the Colts, indicating he is no longer needed in the offense and that moving him could create better opportunities for Josh Downs.

Insight page
PositiveValue22:54

Among the top waiver wire targets at wide receiver this week; part of the elite tier of adds.

Insight page
PositiveValue30:49

Keenan Allen is available as a free agent in many leagues and is actively producing output on the field; the source recommends adding him off waivers and cutting underperforming roster spots to make room, positioning him as a high-priority pickup for fantasy managers looking to upgrade their lineups.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeRole2:21

Kendra Miller is part of the New Orleans Saints running back committee discussion for Week 7 against Pittsburgh, with the backfield situation described as confusing.

Insight page
NegativeUsage4:22

Miller looks good but is not getting as much work as desired; the majority of his touches come from carries with minimal target volume—he hasn't had a game over 10% target share this year.

Insight page
NegativeProjection5:01

Miller is ranked outside the top 30 running backs and is not a fantasy play against defenses that are just below average in what they give up to opposing running backs.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

NegativeUsage66:32

Kendrick Bourne has shown consistent target share over the last couple of weeks and could see increased opportunity if Pat Surtain returns, as Surtain would likely shadow Michael Wilson and open the door for Bourne. However, the source groups him in the 'puke area' with Keenan Allen and Malik Washington, indicating limited enthusiasm.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection48:03

Kyle Pitts just posted back-to-back top-ten tight end finishes and is heating up with two touchdowns against Washington. The source acknowledges the recurring 'Kyle Pitts loop' but notes he can sustain production; last year he finished top-ten tight end weeks 13–16. Against the 49ers, who have been tough on tight ends, the source suggests trusting Pitts to a certain extent but doesn't project him as a top-five option.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup48:15

In a week 13-16 tight end matchup analysis, the source ranks Kyle Pitts ahead of Harold Fannin in a head-to-head comparison, suggesting Pitts as the preferred start despite Fannin's recent poor performance.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection12:32

Kyler Murray has shown recent improvement with strong passing lines (27 for 37, 250 yards and 24 for 30, 230 yards in recent weeks). Coming out of a bye, the Cardinals should be in their healthiest form of the season with potential returns of Jordan Mason and resolution of injuries to Jordan Addison (hamstring), Christian Derrissaw (concussion), and TJ Hawkinson. The source is actively buying Murray in all redraft leagues, prioritizing him after Jaden Daniels, Brock Purdy, Caleb Williams, and Josh Allen.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeUsage70:35

The source discusses Kyren Williams' carry distribution pattern from the prior season, noting inconsistency in the backfield: he was productive early, slowed in the middle of the season, and picked up again toward the end. The source characterizes the backfield as a 'coin flip on any given week' but notes that by season's end, Williams' carry share stabilized in the 30-37% range with one game at 46%, never reaching a true 50-50 split.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveProjection24:38

The source recommends starting Lamar Jackson if available, with the expectation that he will return from injury for the Ravens-Bengals matchup.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveRole54:06

Marvin Harrison Jr. is emerging as a significant target for C.J. Stroud. He had three receptions for three first downs in the recent game, and Matt Kelly confirms that Harrison Jr. is a 'big issue' for Nico Collins' dynasty value, indicating Harrison Jr. is taking target share from Collins.

Insight page

Mecole Hardman

NegativeRole10:00

The Colts signed McCole Hardman as one of the first moves under the interim regime following Chris Ballard's firing, suggesting the team is exploring offensive options.

Insight page
NegativeRole10:01

The interim GM signed McCole Hardman as the first move in the new role, signaling a deployment of resources to the wide receiver position in the Colts offense.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeProjection46:55

Michael Penix is not recommended for play outside of super flex formats. The source notes that Penix looks solid and keeps his team in the fight week in and week out, supporting modest confidence in Falcons pass catchers like Kyle Pitts.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeProjection66:32

Michael Wilson's trend line has deteriorated in recent weeks, especially with Marv Harrison gone. The source ranks him at wide receiver 26, just outside the top 24, and will still play him this week but not as a smash play. He's preferred over Denzel Boston and Jaylen Waddle in this matchup, though the source notes better options exist if you have them.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury42:18

Expected to miss approximately one game due to injury; source notes Evans has been 'a titanium human being this year with the amount of injuries he's had and still pushed through the play,' but anticipates he will miss at least one game.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveRole54:06

Nico Collins had a good game but not a great game in the recent matchup. C.J. Stroud excelled passing the ball all over the place, with Noel over 100 yards and a touchdown and Marvin Harrison Jr. getting three receptions for three first downs. The source is getting nervous about Nico Collins and is considering moving off him in dynasty, citing Marvin Harrison Jr. as a big issue for Collins' target share.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeRole21:49

Had a strong debut with route participation north of 75% and target share north of 15-16% possible going forward; however, source is hesitant on sustainability and does not project top-12 finish in 2026. Could be a flexible play if role stabilizes, but first meaningful output of career warrants caution.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeUsage68:51

With Devontae Adams out 6-10 weeks, the source questions whether Puka can handle 30 targets per game, noting that target volume cannot simply scale from 20 to 30 targets and that other receivers will benefit from Adams' vacated production.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeRole8:00

Dowdle has taken some carries away from Jalen Warren, but the source still considers Warren the primary back and advises trading for Dowdle on the low if you own Warren, suggesting Dowdle is a complementary piece worth rostering alongside Warren.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeRole63:54

Harvey is characterized as 'the most gadget back in the history of gadget backs' with minimal snap share and usage. The source suggests he could be playable only in specific blowout game scripts but otherwise plans to avoid the Broncos backfield entirely due to Sean Payton's unpredictable usage patterns.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

NegativeInjury69:35

The source notes that Terrence Ferguson, a tight end, is still 2-3 weeks away from returning and was hoped to come back this week, indicating continued injury absence.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeInjury24:00

Described as having 'unfortunate, very scary' injury situation; his absence opens opportunity for Antonio Williams in Washington's passing game.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeProjection33:21

Tony Pollard is ranked outside the top 24 running backs by the source despite the model loving him every week; the source has not ranked him in the top 24 once this year and it has paid off, suggesting the model's enthusiasm does not align with actual fantasy production and the source is skeptical of his sustained upside despite occasional boom games.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeRole2:54

Travis Etienne's name will reintroduce into the Saints backfield conversation around Week 8, with Week 9 against Cleveland Browns on November 8th being when they'll open things up after returning to America.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveMatchup48:59

The source expresses strong conviction in Travis Kelce as a tight end start, stating 'I love Kelsey. You'll never get me off Kelsey,' indicating unwavering confidence in Kelce's matchup viability.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveProjection67:19

Trey McBride is a strong play this week, with the source noting that even down weeks at tight end can still produce top-10 finishes at the position. McBride is the clear preferred tight end option in this matchup.

Insight page
PositiveProjection68:48

The source indicates that Trey McBride would still be a top-10 option at the tight end position in the upcoming week, suggesting solid fantasy production despite the broader context of the matchup.

Insight page

Tutu Atwell

NegativeRole70:09

The source humorously suggests that Tutu Atwell may be the beneficiary of deep-ball opportunities in the Rams offense, though this is presented as speculation rather than a serious projection.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeRole69:03

The source lists Tyler Higbee as a potential beneficiary of Devontae Adams' injury and vacated targets, though does not provide specific analysis or conviction on his role.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeRole53:07

The source is picking up Tyron Tracy and putting him on the bench to monitor the situation. Tracy versus Cam Scadabo is not as clear-cut as perceived; Tracy has had very productive seasons for the Giants while Scadabo has only a half-season of decent production. The team is primed to draft a lead back (Kwon Lacy, Ahmad Hardy, or Jordan Ball) in the first round next year, indicating no long-term allegiance to either current back.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeRole54:31

Woody Marks is a straight play if Montgomery misses again. If Montgomery plays, Marks becomes an avoid.

0:00What's Happening everybody? Welcome to the Week 7 edition of The Game Plan.
0:04I am your host, the authentic one, Mr. Matty Kiwoom.
0:07Of course, rejoined back again, the boys are back in town with the one of one, the best in the biz, Mr.
0:14Coden Carpenter. Cody, I missed you last week so it's good to have you back my friend.
0:19Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Sometimes, sometimes. But we're back.
0:23We're ready to game plan, prepare ourselves for another week of the NFL of Fantasy Football, talking a little NFL Draft pre-show,
0:29game planning some other shows in the future here.
0:32So, I'm excited, man. It's really getting down to nut cutting season and the Cleveland Browns are in first place in the AFC North.
0:40As, as Halloween, as again, the great Bill Belichick, one time Cleveland Brown coach said, you gotta be playing your best football
0:47on Halloween and Halloween is exactly, I don't know, from recording 10 days away.
0:51And the Cleveland Browns are in first place and Deshaun Watson is hosting team parties at his house.
0:57If you are a masseuse, take that week off.
0:59Don't want to go to those parties. I kid, I kid, I kid.
1:04But yeah, the Browns first place, first time since 2014 at Week 7.
1:08Week 6, right? 2014 it is, is that it?
1:10Is that it? I think it's 2014. So, over a decade.
1:14It's been a long time. And it's only Week 6, which is crazy to think.
1:19But, we're happy for them. And we're happy to get into the Week 7 slate.
1:23Of course, we're gonna break down all the Sunday games from the morning till night.
1:28So, make sure you get out your pens and your pads.
1:31Because we are gonna help you plan to dominate in Week 7.
1:35Off top, Week 7 buys. You got no Buffalo Bills this week.
1:39No Jacksonville Jaguars. No Los Angeles Chargers. And no Washington Commanders.
1:42You have two teams riddled with fantasy players. Two teams that may not have head coaches when they come out from the buy.
1:50But, you gotta make other arrangements for your Jaden Daniels, your Barker Washingtons, your Josh Allens, your James Cooks.
1:55Some good players on by. So, you're gonna wanna sit back, relax, strap in, and get ready to plan for Week 7.
2:02Let's start with the Sunday morning game in Paris.
2:05Paris, France is hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints.
2:09Over under 44.5. The Saints are 3.5 point underdogs.
2:12And if you're looking for a little bit of juice, you got plus 155 for them at New Orleans Saints.
2:18So, Cody, let me ask you this. Tyler Shuck has been a fantasy monster all year long.
2:23He's helped propel a wide receiver one, a tight end one.
2:27But the running back situation has been a bit confusing at best.
2:31How do you see this week panning out when the Alvin Kamara versus Kendra Miller, or are you avoiding altogether?
2:37Yeah, I mean, I think it's interesting, you know, obviously the ups and downs of Tyler Shuck.
2:42Tyler Shuck has been strong pretty much all year outside of facing Brian Flores.
2:46So, I kind of give him a pass from that perspective.
2:50As far as the backfield goes, I think, honestly, and here's the thing.
2:54I think, when does Travis Etienne reintroduce his name into this whole conversation?
2:58I think it'll probably be a week from now.
3:01Week 8 is when they'll start to open that thing up.
3:04Week 9, when they open up the Cleveland Browns there on November 8th.
3:08And that'll be when they get back to America, obviously.
3:12So, then you'll have to introduce that into the conversation.
3:15But right now, it's like Alvin Kamara dealing with a back injury.
3:18Clearly not getting, you know, the lion's share. But even with a 27% snap share last week, the guy goes for 14 fantasy points.
3:26And, like, he catches the football. Also, side tangent here.
3:29Why are we having quarterbacks, former quarterbacks, like Drew Brees?
3:32You know, there's guys in college that are calling their own former team.
3:36I hate that. I despise this, by the way.
3:39A former guy calling the game for a team that he played for in the last five years.
3:45Anyway, Alvin Kamara, like, looks like Alvin Kamara when he catches the ball out of the backfield.
3:50So, I'd love to see a little bit more of this.
3:53But, again, I think right now it's just so early in the season that they're just trying to manage the workload for a Kamara type.
4:01But this team hasn't been great. So, it's like, at what point do you – at what point does Kamara say, I
4:08don't want to do X, I want to do Y?
4:11Or, you know, I want to go on IR for four weeks and heal this thing up so that my career isn't
4:18toast because my back is cooked by the end of the year.
4:22The Kendra Miller stuff. Kendra Miller looks good. Not getting quite as much work as you'd want.
4:27The majority of it coming from the carries perspective.
4:30Not a lot of targets. He hasn't had a game over 10% target share this year.
4:35And, honestly, C.J. Donaldson, a guy that I kind of enjoyed in the preseason – not in the preseason, the pre-draft process
4:42coming out of Ohio State, doing a lot more than I thought he would, but it still is not fantasy playable.
4:49So, as far as, like, the fantasy side goes, Kamara is really the only playable one when he's active.
4:55And even that, you're talking about running back 26, running back 30, in this kind of a conversation week in, week out.
5:01Yeah, I got Kamara outside of my top 25.
5:04Miller outside of my top 30. I'm not playing either against a defense who's pretty tough, but, you know, just below average
5:11in terms of what they give up to opposing running backs in fantasy.
5:15So, I don't want to play any of those guys.
5:18Last question before we move on from the Saints.
5:21John Johnson throws up a straight goose egg. He's going up against the Steelers' D that presents the 18th best matchup for tight ends.
5:29Can fantasy managers play John Johnson or are we going to make other arrangements?
5:33Yeah, I think you can play John Johnson. I mean, he's been up and down all year.
5:38He's coming off his worst performance of the year in week six.
5:42I think you're looking at an opportunity. I mean, if there was ever a guy like a headshot you wanted to sell
5:49a game in Paris for a New Orleans Saint, like, I feel like Juwan Johnson's headshot, Juwan Johnson catching two touchdowns.
5:56Not to make a joke, like, I'm being dead serious here.
5:59Like, I think he'd be the one that you'd be like, two touchdowns for Juwan Johnson.
6:04And you're like, all right, deal. He started the year hot.
6:07He just kind of cooled off. I think we're going to get that bounce back, that dead cat bounce here in week seven.
6:15I agree. I think you can go back to the well.
6:18I have him just outside my tight end one range.
6:21But I could be swayed a few different directions.
6:24One being, if Tyler Warren misses again, he'd get right back into that range.
6:28And on the Steelers side of things, we have to start here because he was the waiver wire darling.
6:34The guy that demanded the most fab going into week six.
6:38Jeremy Bernard, wide receiver for the Steelers. Steelers puts down a massive performance last week.
6:42Had nine targets. No, more than that. I think he had 11 targets, nine catches, if I'm not mistaken.
6:48About 25 fantasy points against the Buccaneers. Where do you have him ranked this week against the Saints?
6:54This is a tough one because I really want to be aggressive.
6:58I want to say, so last week I took a stance on him.
7:02I want to say I had him at wide receiver 21 last week.
7:06And obviously he finished his wide receiver three. I haven't sure what I'm finding last week's sheet.
7:11But regardless, I think this is going to be something that's going to take me up until the weekend to kind of
7:18just shuffle out in my brain and say how aggressive do I want to be?
7:23Because here's the deal. As much as that was fun, back to back, by the way, 28 and 29% target shares.
7:29Finishes wide receiver 21, then wide receiver three. He's kind of vaulted very quickly up the ranks.
7:35Looks better than Roman Wilson has ever looked. Obviously he's looked better than Michael Pittman's ever looked in this offense.
7:41And as much as they continue to force feed DK Metcalf, Metcalf's inconsistencies, his drops this season have been bewildering.
7:47Again, the last three weeks has been a world of difference from an output perspective for DK Metcalf.
7:53He did have pretty much a donut in week five.
7:56But Metcalf's going to get forced targets. I think Friermuth is an important piece to this offense.
8:01And obviously Jalen Warren has just been a difference maker.
8:04So I think I'll probably stay on the... Does it sound like aggressive to have him at wide receiver like 18, 19?
8:11Like that's probably where I'm going to end up this week.
8:15All right. So let's play a little name game with him.
8:18Jeremy Bernard or Jalen Waddell this week? Oh, Bernard.
8:21Jeremy Bernard or Devon Vele in this game? Bernard.
8:24Jeremy Bernard or... This one really pains me to say.
8:27Rome Adunze if they're making a decision before Thursday Night Football.
8:30Oh, that's tough. I mean, we had just... Rome just hasn't given us...
8:35He didn't even get us a top 20 finish yet this year.
8:38So I got to go... Yeah, I got to go with Jeremy.
8:42Yeah. Jeremy Bernard is a really good pickup. If you use the fab, use the waiver on him last week, fire it right back up.
8:50And you mentioned Jalen Warren. I don't care that Rico Dowdle took a little bit of the numbers.
8:55I think Dowdle is kind of a must roster at this point if you have Jalen Warren.
9:01So I would go out and try to trade him for him on the low.
9:06But I still have Jalen Warren as my running back 12 this week in a matchup against the Saints.
9:11That is chef kiss. And in a game that's overseas, you never exactly know what to expect.
9:17But we've seen some big running back performances as recent as last week from guys like Woody Marks and, of course, Bashul Tootin.
9:24So let's go back to the Jalen Warren. Well, let's move on to the first American game on Sunday.
9:30The Indianapolis Colts fly over to Minnesota to take on the Vikings.
9:34Vikings, six and a half point favorites at home over under 40 and a half.
9:38Don't love that when you're talking about fantasy. But let's start with the Colts.
9:43They fire Chris Ballard. It seems like the reset is amongst us.
9:46But, Cody, what does that mean for us in fantasy?
9:50Can we play the guys we've been custom to playing?
9:53Yeah, I don't think a lot will change as far as the in-game heuristics, I guess you'd say.
9:58Maybe we see a little bit more Deion Burks.
10:01I know they went out and signed McCole Hardman.
10:04Like, that was the first move that the interim GM made was, hey, let's go get McCole Hardman.
10:10I was like, that's a very interesting deployment of powers in your new role.
10:14But, hey, who am I to judge? No, Deion Burks had a nice catch down the field last week.
10:20I think Josh Downs has been, when he's healthy, continued to produce at a mild level.
10:25I think Keon Allen continues to be a sneaky play week in and week out in your deep flex leagues where you're
10:32starting four or five wide receivers like the leagues I've talked about before.
10:36It's like, how can you ignore a 25% target share coming from a Keon Allen type right now?
10:42It's kind of hard to ignore. The other thing I'd say when you entertain the Viking thing is, like, I think that
10:48they know what this game is going to entail.
10:51And that is that this offense can't really do a lot if you can pressure Daniel Jones and you can eliminate the
10:58run game, which I think will be a one steak sauce for the Vikings defense coming out of a bye.
11:04So, Jonathan Taylor, like, that's your number one question mark.
11:08It's going to be a tough matchup for him.
11:10He's had a very good year, but we do go back to week three.
11:15I think he had 85% of the snaps, 77% of the carries, only ended up with nine fantasy points because he didn't find the end zone.
11:23Finishes running back 27. Like, that's well within his range of outcomes.
11:27Finishes running back 25 in week five as well.
11:29Like, those outputs, the 9, 10 fantasy points is well within Jonathan Taylor's range of outcomes, most likely against this Viking defense.
11:36And hopefully that means that they leave Jonathan Taylor in Minnesota because the Vikings could use him.
11:42Oh, the rumors are swirling. I love seeing all the Jonathan Taylor to Minnesota, the Josh Downs to San Francisco.
11:48And I do want to say this. If those trades do happen, it will be great for fantasy.
11:54The thing about Josh Downs, the reason why I can't quit him yet, Cody, you look over the games in which they've
12:00played, the last five games, nine targets, 11 targets, four targets, six targets, eight targets.
12:05The targets are there. They're just not converting. So if they could figure out a way Shane Steichen could dial up, change
12:12it up a little bit, get Keenan Allen, ship him off.
12:15No need to have him in this point. I think there could be some better days for Josh Downs.
12:21Of course, this week does hurt to play any Indianapolis Colts players.
12:25What are your thoughts on Kyler Murray now? Because the last couple of weeks he started to really 27 for 37, 250 yards, 24 for 30, 230 yards.
12:34The wheels are starting to turn. We've still got a couple of injuries to kind of monitor Jordan Addison's hamstring.
12:40Jordan Mason should be back potentially this week. Christian Derrissaw's got a concussion.
12:44TJ Hawkinson's a little hanged up. So they should be, we'll see coming out of a bye how healthy they are, but
12:51this should be the best, healthiest form of this offense that we've seen potentially this whole year with Kyler at the helm.
12:58So yeah, let's use that as the pivot point to the Vikings and start with Kyler.
13:03I completely love Kyler Murray. I have been buying him in all of my leagues, all my redraft leagues.
13:09If I don't have Jaden Daniels or Brock Purdy or Caleb Williams or Josh Allen, I've been going out and getting him.
13:16If I had a Diak Prescott, I went out and got him.
13:20If I have Lamar Jackson, I've gone out and got him.
13:23If I had Matthew Stafford, I've gone out and got him.
13:27This week I have him as a top 10 play.
13:30And I know necessarily the fantasy production hasn't quite been there, but when you watch him play, he's been historically one of
13:37the most accurate passers of the football since he's been in the NFL.
13:41His accuracy ratings are always through the chart. And that throw he had to Jefferson was an absolute dime.
13:47You're seeing throws to the sidelines that are on an absolute rope.
13:50And as he gets comfortable and as the team gets healthy, and if they do make a move at the deadline, which
13:57they are poised to make, whether it be receiver or running back, it's only going to help him.
14:03And coming out of a bye week, remember, he did get his bell rung like a quarter into week one.
14:09It's taken some time. He's had the week off.
14:12They're getting things going. It's his show and ready to rock.
14:15And I love Kyler Murray rest of season. And I love him this week.
14:20Top 10 play. I love that. I love that.
14:23That seems a little aggressive, I think, on the surface, but I like it.
14:27Indianapolis has allowed an NFL worst six yards per play while producing just 4.7 on their own offense.
14:33So it's kind of a big gap. And six yards per play against a team that hasn't exactly had the most efficient
14:39run game this year, and now they're getting Jordan Mason back.
14:43Like, Kyler Murray starts cooking. Like, this could be the making for a mess in Minnesota.
14:48And as far as the rest of the Vikings, I mean, there's really not a lot of analysis.
14:54You're playing Jefferson. You're playing Jones. You're definitely playing Jones if Mason's back.
14:58And if Mason's back, I think you can kind of play them both.
15:02If we're going through the buys here, we have injuries.
15:05This is the time of season where we're not looking at jacked-up rosters.
15:09We're not looking at fully healthy, full strength. And right now, my rankings, I have both those guys as starts.
15:15I would say I would watch, you know, like as Friday comes around, what the Aaron Jones stuff looks like.
15:21Because they didn't have to report anything in the injury report last week, obviously, because they're on by.
15:27But he's been one that's, like, dealt with a lot of lower body this year.
15:32And I would anticipate he's not on the injury report.
15:35But let's say he has, like, a DNP on Thursday or something.
15:39At that point, I'd be, like, a little hesitant to say, okay, they're coming out of a bye.
15:44It's not the toughest matchup in the world. If Jordan Mason's back, I think, you know, and again, you have the rookie
15:51bye-week bounce that could be implemented here. And you could say, well, we could see a little bit more tomorrow in Claiborne.
15:58And they could hold out Jones for one more week just because they know.
16:02I mean, the next month, they have, like, the Niners, the Bills, the Packers.
16:07It's a brutal stretch the Vikings have. So I would just monitor that from Aaron Jones' perspective.
16:12If he has, like, a DNP on Thursday, I'd be on, like, I'd be on inactive watch for him.
16:18Aaron Jones might have the most fantasy points scored while having the questionable tag on Sleeper next to his name.
16:24That guy has left every single game. I'm like, dang, I just lost my RB2.
16:29He comes back and drops out of 20, Nugget.
16:32So I absolutely love Aaron Jones. Isn't it a good matchup this week, but it's a good thing to bring up.
16:38You've got to monitor the health. We're going through every single game in the Week 7 slate.
16:44So you can stick around for the rest of the NFL games.
16:47Next, let's head to the Big Apple. The Miami Dolphins take on the New York Jets.
16:52Four and a half point favorites for the Jets at home.
16:56Over under 38 and a half. Dolphins plus 193 if you want the juice for them to get their first win.
17:02And we'll start with the Dolphins. It's really boiled down to only two players that are even probably rostered in fantasy right now.
17:10Ollie Gordon, Malik Washington. What's your outlook against a pretty tough Jets D?
17:14I hate it. I don't love it either. I hate every part.
17:17I mean, people have people like again. You have now three weeks and then you go into a bye with Ollie and
17:24three weeks where he's produced at an RB2 level.
17:27I think that's fine. I think that's playable. I just have question marks.
17:31I have a worry of what like they can change.
17:34This is not a good football team and they can change anything coming out of a bye that you don't know.
17:41They could completely switch this thing to Jill and Red.
17:44And I know that people are going to say, what are you talking about?
17:48And it's pretty clear. It's Ollie Gordon. I get it.
17:52And I was on the team. I was on the side saying coming into the season that like I think Ollie Gordon
17:58is going to get a bigger share with Devon H in his backfield because of the lack of passing game.
18:05And that didn't come to fruition early on until the injury kind of came up.
18:09He was running back like 90 and like 75 or something like the first two weeks.
18:14And so I think that they'll continue to give Ollie the shares.
18:18We saw him come in, hit like an 82% snap share in week three when he first took this thing over.
18:25That number has since dropped down to 60%, 66%, whatever.
18:28And I do have hesitation and question. I do like the interior of this Jets defense.
18:33I do like this game to be a little bit muddy, a little bit bogged down from that perspective because neither of
18:40these teams are really that good at scoring points and playing offensive football at this point.
18:45So that could obviously push into helping Ollie Gordon in this conversation.
18:49But I'd say fringe RB2 category for me with Ollie Gordon this week.
18:53And what about Malik Washington? You're firing him up against a secondary that hasn't really been the toughest matchup, but they're 20th.
19:00So, I mean, it's really not easy either. No, man.
19:03I mean, sure. If you want to. I think the target share is enough there for, you know, like I said before,
19:10like the Keenan Allen situations, the opportunities where you're like, hey, man, you know, in past weeks, like, hey, does Mac Holland sound good here?
19:17Like, no, it never sounds good. But sometimes you have to do that thing.
19:22Yeah. And that's kind of where Malik Washington fits in for me.
19:25The target share is high enough. The output's been there consistently all year.
19:30But I'll be honest with you, Matty Keewoom, the number one guy that I want to get this week, again, bye week rookie bounce is Chris Bell.
19:38Chris Bell's had the pop. He had the step out of bounds.
19:42He had this. He's had that. He looks good.
19:45And now you're getting a rested Chris Bell out of the bye.
19:48He's needed the week. He's all the first quarter part of the year.
19:52He's looked like he's, man, he probably could use another week.
19:56Like he looks a little bit stiff. He looks like he's maybe not quite there.
20:01And now we got a two week gap here where he got to practice with, you know, with Malik Willis and maybe
20:07if they bench Malik Willis, whoever else. But I do think Chris Bell's kind of my I guess you'd call it sneaky
20:14because he hasn't had a top, you know, he hasn't even had a top 36 finish this year.
20:20So I think Malik Washington fits in that top 36 for sure.
20:24And I think Chris Bell is the sneaky one that gets in there this week.
20:28Chris Bell, at least stash him on your redraft teams.
20:32And on the Jets side of things, Gino is really only a super flex fill in.
20:37He's outside of my top 15. So we're not really going to talk about Gino either.
20:42He hasn't been terrible. But where I want to start is another rookie.
20:46Last week was the big time breakout for Omar Cooper Jr.
20:49Is that something to expect? Yes or no from that question.
20:52And then a follow up, a little 1A, 1B type thing.
20:56What does it mean for Garrett Wilson? Well, I mean, I think what it does for Garrett Wilson is it obviously it
21:03neutered a little bit of his target share last week and his output.
21:07But he's been every other week the last month as far as being a fantasy, a fantasy friendly wide receiver.
21:13What the Omar Cooper thing does is brings another piece to this offense that can create dynamism for Gino Smith.
21:19I mean, it was fascinating. I'm sitting in the sauna this morning watching like, you know, the big plays back from this weekend.
21:27And Gino Smith rolls out, steps up, and you're like, oh, that looks like a 10-year-ago Gino Smith where he just steps up and launches that.
21:35Maybe it wasn't 10 years ago. Maybe it was like, what, six years ago in Seattle?
21:40And just launches that football 60 yards. And it's underthrown.
21:43But the cornerback is beat so bad it doesn't matter.
21:46To Omar Cooper. That kind of makes Omar Cooper's weekend.
21:49So, listen, I don't think that this Omar Cooper thing is like sticky, I guess you'd say, per se.
21:55I don't think we're going to start to see like these 20s every week.
21:59But could you see that route participation stay north of 75% and a target share stay north of 15-16%?
22:05Yes. Does that mean that Omar Cooper is going to ever finish into the top 12 again in 2026?
22:11I don't think so. But I do think he's a flexible play.
22:15Just showing, you know, again, this is the first output he's had in his career.
22:20Like week one, I think he had like a target or two targets.
22:24So, I don't know. Maybe it clicked for him.
22:27Sometimes that can happen a quarter way into your season.
22:30But I'm a little more hesitant on this Omar Cooper thing, especially that I am on the Jeremy Bernard side of the conversation from Pittsburgh.
22:38That's where I wanted to bring it. And also, it could be a little bit like Garrett Wilson had a Christian Gonzalez problem last week.
22:45Bingo, bingo, bingo. But if, let's just say, last week you used 20%, 22% of your fab on Jeremy Bernard, what would you have done for Omar Cooper?
22:54Would you have gone that high, 20% of your fab?
22:57Or is he more like 12%, maybe 15%? I think you're hitting the nail right on the head as far as the wide receiver position goes.
23:06Like it was, to me, the top of the food chain this week.
23:10Like if Keenan Allen wasn't on, he's up there.
23:12Jeremy Bernard's up there. I think you see Jordan Tyson, who we didn't talk about in the earlier thing.
23:18He's not practicing this week, Mickey Loomis said. So I think that was more just like, hey, we got to get this guy ready.
23:26When we come back, he'll be ready to go.
23:29Jordan Tyson, if he's available, is up there. And then I think it's Antonio Williams, Washington, and Omar Cooper, both kind of
23:36in that like 10%, you know, 9, 10, 11% kind of range.
23:39Oh, these later drafted receivers coming out. And honestly, I prefer Antonio Williams.
23:43Like I feel like the consensus has maybe ran out to Omar Cooper more.
23:48I don't know. I've watched Antonio Williams every week this year, and I love Antonio Williams.
23:53And now with this unfortunate, very scary Terry McLaurin stuff, Williams is going to be in a great spot, especially if feet,
24:00hands, McDiggs can't catch the football this year. Yeah, I could not believe I was watching the game of the buddy.
24:06Like he's not using his hands. He's just body catching.
24:09Absolutely everything still was all right. But I like Antonio Williams, too.
24:13I think this is a time to pounce on either buying or adding Antonio Williams because they're going on a buy.
24:20It's that perfect time to do so. Next game, and we'll kind of breeze through this one because I think it's pretty self-explanatory.
24:27AFC North battle. The Cincinnati Bungles take on the Baltimore Ravens.
24:30Over under 50.5. Ravens are 2.5 point favorite as of now, as of recording, because it does seem like Lamar will be back.
24:38Let's say he is back. It's just start him if you got him.
24:42Smoke him if you got him. But if you have any interesting things on either of these teams, go ahead and drop
24:48it out because I think it's just you play him.
24:52We already know what we're doing. Yeah, I think it's smoke him if you got him.
24:57I think it's been impressive to see. I mean, I don't want to say impressive.
25:01They got freaking, I bought Cus really hard right there.
25:04I think it's been enough. Enough. You know, they mean the output against the Falcons was fun two weeks ago.
25:11And then just to fall on your face against these Browns.
25:14Like it's I think it's going to be as hard as it was for us to kind of get over the oh,
25:21the Detroit Lions are now for real. I think it's going to take twice as long to mentally wrap your head around
25:28maybe three times as long to mentally wrap your head around like the Browns being decent, especially with Deshaun Watson.
25:34And so it's a whole different dynamic than how the Detroit situation was.
25:38But yeah, I think as far as this game goes, smoke him if you got him on.
25:44I'm trying to think through every facet of the game.
25:47I think the most notable one maybe from last week now that we got him healthy was was rookie.
25:53Speaking to rookies, Jacoby Lane was his first output since week one.
25:56Fifty eight percent of the routes had a 16 percent target share scored eight fantasy points was like wide receiver 45.
26:03Like I think that's only going to continue to tick up.
26:06So if you're talking about like, you know, talking about the waiver wire a minute ago, he's probably a guy that probably
26:13didn't get added in those waiver wire. You know, opportunities this week.
26:17And I think he's one where if Lamar comes back and the target share continues to rise, because remember, in the preseason,
26:24the way they talked about Jacoby Lane, it was in a higher regard than 15 percent target share scoring eight fantasy points.
26:31It was like this is the greatest training camp we've ever seen from a rookie.
26:36That was the conversation. And if that's the case, and if he continues to check up as he's healthier and healthier, I
26:42think you're you're looking at like a I don't want to see league winner, but potential league winner.
26:48I mean, especially with these Baltimore Ravens kind of sitting in the place they are right now, four and two three way
26:55battle in first place with the Steelers and the and the and the Browns like they need to get hot.
27:01And a way to do that is to bring in the six foot four, two hundred pound rookie wide receiver that has a miraculous red zone ability.
27:10So smoke him if you got him. I think Jacoby Lane probably not quite playable, but keep your eye on him.
27:16Stash him type of a conversation. This is the old take hedge type of game.
27:21I'm playing everyone because a process if a game with these type of players with Vegas has an over under at 50
27:28and a half process says play them all. But then we throw a few shillings down on the under just to give
27:35me a little little take hedge there. Let's move on to this next game that a few months ago looked like an absolute crap bag.
27:42But now we have a first place team in the mix.
27:46The Cleveland Browns head to Tennessee to take on the one win Titans.
27:50That's right. They did win last week over under 37 and a half.
27:54The Titans are plus one and a half point underdogs at home.
27:58Seems a bit disrespectful to have the Browns division leaders as only a minus 125 favorite on the money line going to Tennessee.
28:05So let's talk about these Browns. Last week, no Quinshaw Judkins turned into really no one stepped up in this place.
28:12I know Estime scored a goal line touchdown. Jaleel McLaughlin had like nine fantasy points, but no one really did much.
28:18And the receivers, Boston, Casey Concepcion, both kind of dud it out.
28:22But we are seeing a trend line here. If you're looking at the Casey Concepcion target share, what are your thoughts on
28:29the wide receivers starting in week number seven? Yeah.
28:32I mean, that was not the easiest matchup last week against the Baltimore Ravens.
28:36I mean, that was smash mouth classic AFC North football that again, like we talked about surprising that the Browns are able
28:43to hang around in that football game. But as far as the trend line goes, like Casey C is going to be
28:50a very tough one for me to ever per se get off of in fantasy because of like the target share where he's used.
28:57The A dot has been maniacal this year. Like listen to this A dot week over week, week one to now seven, 1.8, 5.3, 7.1 to 7.8.
29:06And like there's really no correlation to the output.
29:09He's never at a top 36 output as far as fantasy wide receiver finishes, but he feels close.
29:14Now, the worry I have, the worry I have, I don't know if you saw this or not, but the postgame celebratory
29:21awkwardness that ensued in that locker room was. I didn't see that.
29:25You got to go listen to it. It is like you.
29:28And again, I'm one that consumes a lot of these.
29:31Like I love watching the teams get, ah, you know, I like Aaron, even Aaron Glenn, like giving the game ball to
29:38Braylon Allen and seeing Brees Hall in the background, smiling and dapping Braylon Allen.
29:43Like that makes me feel like that situation's healthy.
29:45Right. I love to watch those types of things.
29:48You watch the Browns and it's like Todd Monken who like seems like he's hard, but also doesn't love being in that
29:55situation to hand out a game ball like that.
29:58And he's like, you know what? We are a better football team when this guy is on the field and this guy is performing.
30:06And you're like, who the hell is he going to say?
30:09And he goes, Jerry, get up here. Yeah. And I'm like, he has been clutch for them.
30:14Judy has been super clutch for them. He's been clutch, but it's like, those are the things.
30:20And think about this from two perspectives. Those are the things that one can really jack up your fantasy, like projections and
30:26output from a conception Boston fan in Judkins perspective.
30:29And two, it's real football to where it doesn't have to be 25% target share, but like it's the big opportunities and
30:36the trust level and the fact that he's going to be on the football field.
30:41Like it's almost like the Keenan Allen. It's not even quite the thing, but it's like out of sight, out of mind, kind of a thought.
30:49Like, oh, it's Keenan Allen. He's just playing football.
30:52He's over there playing football. It's like, yeah, but Keenan Allen is giving you output.
30:57And I think what I'm getting at here is I've, I talked to a lot of people every week about their rosters
31:03and they're like, Hey, you know, friends and family and stuff.
31:07And they're like, Oh, this team's, you know, this is happening.
31:10You know, I got Keaton Mitchell in my lineup.
31:13Like, well, you can't have Keaton Mitchell in your lineup, but like, look at your waiver wire.
31:18And it's like, Oh, well, free agent. Look at this.
31:22Like Keenan Allen's a free agent. Put Keenan Allen in your lineup.
31:25But get Keaton Mitchell out and put Keenan Allen in, you know, add that guy and cut this dude.
31:31Like, why is Alec A-Man on your roster? Cut it yesterday.
31:35But like what I'm saying is Jerry Judy. And I know this is a very long-winded thought here, but Jerry Judy, I
31:42think is going to be one that potentially don't shoot the messenger.
31:45Potentially is in that conversation for like the next, the rest of the year.
31:50I'm just, that's what I'm monitoring right now because the raw participation has been there.
31:54The target share has gone up and it's kind of a locker room thing.
31:59It's like if they want to play him and they think he's good enough.
32:03And if he's going to give you just, you know, eight to 14 a game, sometimes that's playable.
32:09The Jerry Judy thing. No, it's, it's, it's a tough bit of cold water in the face, but it's something people you got to hear.
32:17This is why we help you gameplay because you're not wrong.
32:20When you watch the games, when they're in a big spot, Jerry Judy is making the play.
32:25And if you're in first place, you're not selling Jerry Judy.
32:29You're not trading him away. Like we thought a couple of weeks ago, they might, it would be great for us fantasy managers.
32:36We don't have to worry about it, but that is something to keep in the back of your mind, especially in redraft.
32:43We're not caring about two, three years down the road for conception for Denzel Boston.
32:48You see an offer come across your desk for one of these Browns receivers.
32:52If it looks advantageous in the short term, I might be looking to make the move.
32:57And on the Tennessee side of things, Pollard is an okay play.
33:01I, this week I had him, I am listed as one of my buys last week.
33:06One of the guys that thought was going to start taking off.
33:10Um, he still got the lion's share, did pretty good.
33:13Um, but I got him at work wide receiver, uh, running back 25.
33:17And then Tate, I have him right outside my wide receiver 24 range.
33:21So talk to me about Tate, talk to me about Pollard.
33:24The rest is for the birds. Spears still not healthy completely.
33:28Um, so he's still not really going to do much into this backfield.
33:32Um, Pollard, the model every week, the model loves Tony Pollard, loves Tony Pollard.
33:36And I can't, you know, it's like, I don't think I've ranked him in the top 24 or once this year and
33:43it's paid off so far, even though it's like, I feel like with Tony Pollard, you can always potentially get that one
33:50game where he falls in three times and you're like, but I'm not really too worried about that.
33:56Cause his team's not very good. The other thing I'll say is I know he hasn't played a lot, Nick Singleton, but
34:02talking to some people in Tennessee, it doesn't sound like that thing's going to matriculate into anything.
34:08Uh, unfortunately, it sounds like he might ever, it sounds like he might just be in the way here and in 2027
34:15NFL draft, boom, insert whatever name you want. Who's better than Nick Singleton.
34:19And that's kind of the route that ends up happening here.
34:22So I know I've been kind of, I, and I'll own that.
34:26I don't care. I've been on the Nick Singleton.
34:29I think Nick Singleton was a fascinating fifth round pick that the Tennessee Titans could, you know, at this time of the
34:36year, you're looking at Pollard getting traded to X team, right?
34:39That is in, in a, in a, in a, in a playoff contention and Nick Singleton steps up.
34:45Sounds like that might be that thought process, that thought process needs to be, uh, flushed down the toilet at this point in the game.
34:52Um, as far as Cardinal take goes like that thing's hitting, it's hitting, it's not hitting hard.
34:58We're getting got sometimes, but we're also getting sometimes.
35:01Sometimes, I mean, what 44%, 39% target shares two of the last three weeks.
35:05Like I can play with that, Sonny. I don't need you to finish one every week, but give me a, give me
35:12a top 15 output here and there. I'll take that.
35:15And, uh, I'll take the wins with the losses with Cardinal Tate.
35:19I think that they're starting to mesh together. He and Cam Ward and, uh, Cardinal Tate, she's quietly on his way to a thousand yard season.
35:27So he has to be for me, top 16, 17, a wide receiver this week.
35:32Yeah, I'm going right back to the Cardinal Tate.
35:34Well, no doubt about it. All right, let's move on to an NFC South divisional matchup.
35:39The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Carolina to take on the Panthers over under 44 and a half.
35:45Buccaneers are three and a half point underdogs. Let's start with the Bucs and let's start with Baker Mayfield.
35:51Do we get Baker in week seven? Todd Bowles says he expects him to practice on Wednesday, day of recording here.
35:58Uh, they're still preparing for both quarterbacks. Um, this team stinks.
36:01I mean, it doesn't really matter to be honest with you.
36:04I have significant worries right now. Um, if I'm rostering Godwin, if I'm rostering a Bucca, um, I, I just, I cannot believe how far this thing's fallen.
36:13And I think to be honest with you, um, even if Baker comes back, I don't know how good we should feel about it.
36:21It's a thumb injury that, um, could still impact him when he returns.
36:25We've seen hand injuries and how they've impacted quarterbacks to college in the NFL level.
36:30The bigger, the ball's bigger in the NFL anyway.
36:32So, and I'm not trying to hate on Baker, but, um, it's a good Carolina football team.
36:38And I know it's a divisional game, so it could be tight, but, um, I don't know.
36:43I don't think it really impacts a ton. I kind of prefer Jalen Daniels for our fantasy perspectives.
36:49Yeah. The thing about, uh, Baker Mayfield too, we've also seen him play through the detriment of the offense.
36:55He was not healthy enough to play. He did not help the offense be better, but he's just so dang tough that
37:01he was out there to make it happen. So right now I, it's a wait and see for me.
37:07And you brought up a name that I just have to follow up on, have to ask you and hit you with a little Jerry Seinfeld here.
37:16What's the deal with a Mac egg Bucca? I mean, Jalen Daniels is unlocking him.
37:21If we want to put it that way, I mean, the last two weeks he's at a volume, but he has had
37:27an, he's had no yardage, no true production because his quarterback is not a good quarterback.
37:32He's just a, he's a Kansas dual threat running run first, run second guy.
37:37Yeah. So it's like, listen, and I love Jalen Daniels.
37:40He was a fun watch at Kansas. I think the story is great going undrafted coming in here, being QB two.
37:47Like I'm all the way there, but the idea that 40% target share only gives you like a wider receiver 15 finish is maniacal.
37:54But that's where we're at with the Mac egg Bucca.
37:57But here's the deal, Matty. I'll take that over.
38:00I'll take that over wide receiver 81 finish with Baker Mayfield, the quarterback.
38:04Oh, you just hurt my heart a little bit there.
38:07Cause I, I, I think a lot of people out there are expecting a bump from Baker, but I think we should
38:14start temporary expectations on the road against Carolina. Cause you're right.
38:17That is a good, an outfit. Remember been tough against receivers.
38:21The last time we saw Baker was the Viking game.
38:24I was there. So I remember Chris Godwin being the, the recipient of a 75 yard touchdown that was called back for a hold questionable hold.
38:32Um, but that was the one that was the player that if he catches that pass, I think Godwin ends up that game with 20.
38:40Goddamn. What was it? 24, 25 points. That, which would have been the best.
38:44That would have been the best output by a wide receiver or a player on this offense all year.
38:50And that was negated by, you know what I'm saying?
38:53So like, I don't, who's to say Baker comes back in this and mecca book a thing falls right back in the toilet.
39:01So I'm kind of worried there. Like I also, I think we're also on head coach firing watch here.
39:07He seems like his seat is the hottest than the two guys that are on by this week, because you know, that
39:14is, I don't know that, that he's, he's just seemed like he's worn out his welcome a little bit when it comes
39:20to, uh, when it comes to the old head coaching spot there, uh, for the, the bucket here.
39:26So unfortunately that is true. It's tough to say, but on the Carolina Panthers side of things, you're playing Bryce young.
39:33He's been great. You're playing Shuba Hubbard. He displayed a tough matchup and you're playing both the receivers.
39:38They are, they have been absolute beast for us in fantasy.
39:42I have both Coker and Ted McMillan inside my top 15 this week.
39:46Is there any, anything else to talk about other than just start these Panthers?
39:50No, I think you want to start these Panthers.
39:53Um, keeping an eye on the backfield, I guess like Chuba has been, Chuba has been a monster this year.
39:59I know he's, he's like, I think he's bordering on being an RB one.
40:04Um, I haven't, I should have checked on the Jonathan Brooks stuff before coming in here.
40:09I think he's probably not. Yeah. Early November was the timeframe to look.
40:13So week now we're a couple of weeks away from watching to see if that thing opens up.
40:18Um, but otherwise there's been nobody in this backfield to really compete, uh, with Chuba.
40:23However, we kind of thought for a minute, AJ Dylan might, um, Trevor ETN.
40:27They've loved Trevor ETN, but he hasn't gotten, um, quite, quite the opportunities yet.
40:32I think they just, uh, activated Trevor ETN. So I'm kind of watching that.
40:36Um, he's been dealing with an ankle injury for, I want to say the better part of a month on the IR.
40:43So watch Trevor ETN. Um, if you have, this is maniacal take baby, but I don't care.
40:48This is where we're at in the season. It's like Chuba Hubbard's been so great.
40:53And you're looking down the line and Jonathan Brooks still being out for a month.
40:58Trevor ETN off the bye coming in here. Not saying he's going to take much away, but I wouldn't be shocked if he was the clear RB too.
41:06And so what does that mean for fantasy football?
41:09Kind of a little piece of a handcuff. Um, and they love Trevor ETN.
41:14So just keeping it on Trevor ETN. All right, let's go down to hot Atlanta.
41:18The San Francisco 49ers take on the Falcons over under four 50.5.
41:22You're allowed to see it. Falcons plus three point underdogs at home.
41:26It's kind of closer than I would have expected, but either way, let's start with the Niners.
41:31They have been a wagon six and Oh Brock Purdy seems to be the MVP smash start this week.
41:37Christian McCaffrey is Christian McCaffrey. You never do anything but fire him up.
41:41George Kittle top five tight end this week. He's been a stud, but that wide receiver position.
41:47Cody looks in like no Mike Evans this week.
41:49They obviously lost Debo for a couple of weeks.
41:52Brandon cooks. Do we play Brandon cooks? What do we do with the wide receivers for the San Francisco 49ers?
41:58Hmm. You're trying to make me, you know, hurl on this beautiful Wednesday, aren't you?
42:03That's a good, that's one of the all time, uh, you know, first down touchdown celebrations, by the way.
42:09If I'm a young kid, I'm stealing it. I'm making it mine.
42:13He's about, he's about out the door. You can pay homage.
42:16It's like in WWE. When a guy has a great finisher and he's out the door, you take the finisher and you just make it yours.
42:24I would take the arrow and make it mine.
42:27It's so fire. I don't know if there's a single guy that I want, um, to be honest with you.
42:33Like, I think you look at this offense and you know, Mike Evans is going to miss a game.
42:39Probably. I anticipate a game. Like he's been, he's been a, a titanium human being this year with the amount of injuries
42:46he's had and still pushed through the play. So I anticipate he only misses a game.
42:51Um, what does that look like from the perspective of, you know, will we get Debo Samuel back?
42:57Like if Debo Samuel's back, I love Debo Samuel, uh, in a standalone standalone alpha role in this offense.
43:03Um, I think this also impacts Christian McCaffrey's target share, uh, week in and week out, obviously, um, past that.
43:09Like, no, I don't trust Brandon cooks to be honest with you.
43:13If I was going to trust somebody and be like, something could happen here.
43:17It's Jordan Watkins or Jacob Cowan, two guys that have more bursts, have more acceleration.
43:22This offense seemed to have a decent connection with Brock Purdy when they're targeted.
43:26Uh, Jordan walk instead of 91% route participation last week, uh, Jacob Cowan had, you know, the best, I would say acceleration of burst.
43:34He, I kind of saw him and I was like, Ooh, is that Brandon cooks?
43:39No, that's Brandon cooks 10 years ago. That's Jacob.
43:41Yeah. Um, who's a stud went down to the senior bowl.
43:45It was fun to watch, but he hasn't done a damn thing because he'd been dealing with injuries and shocking to nobody because it's San Francisco.
43:53But, um, I don't know. I don't really have a person I trust.
43:57I think, honestly, I think of a Mike Evans being out.
44:00My, my, my dauber goes to Debo Samuel if he's in and if not Debo, then it just goes Kittle McCaffrey.
44:07And whatever happens, I think Brock Purdy, Brock Purdy's on a, by the way, I ran these stats on a Monday night
44:14during that game because I thought it was fascinating that the, the way they were talking about Brock Purdy and how he
44:21set the record for the highest QBR in the first 50 career games.
44:25Um, as just like a baseline, like, Oh, this is his QBR through 50 games.
44:30I went back and looked, Matty, cause you're a new Englander, right?
44:33You got Tom Brady in your, in your blood.
44:36That's right. Monday night was Brock Purdy's 30th career game with a hundred plus passer rating.
44:41Tom Brady has the most hundred plus passer rating games of all time with 156 in 333 career starts.
44:47That's 47% of these games. Purdy has his 30th in his 51st start.
44:51Brady's 40th hundred passer, hundred plus passer rating performance didn't come until his 100th start.
44:5640th came in as 100th start. Brock Purdy's already at 30 at 50.
45:00If that, if that math, you know, can go side by side.
45:04And, uh, what I'm saying here is like, if Brock Purdy continues his current trajectory, he's going to be top 10 all
45:11time in a hundred plus passer rating performances, uh, by the age of 32.
45:15Um, which is like ahead of Matthew Stafford, ahead of Matt Ryan, ahead of Kirk cousins, ahead of Steve young.
45:21Like you're talking about Roethlisberger far of territory. Like he's playing at an all time level right now, dealing with all of
45:28these injuries around him, which is maniacal. So it doesn't really matter what's there.
45:33Like they're going to score 28. They're going to score 31 this football game, wherever the touchdowns come from, they come from.
45:39But it's like, I don't think of Jordan Watkins, a Jacob Cowling, a, you know, even like any of these guys outside
45:46of the big dogs are worthy of playing week in and week up because it's too hard to project.
45:52And he's too good at diversifying the target portfolio.
45:55And I think it's a great point that you bring up.
45:58He doesn't need the receivers. The injuries could be there because he still has Christian McCaffrey.
46:03He still has George Kittle. Yeah. That makes him a top five quarterback for me.
46:08That makes him a no doubt start. And man, oh man, you don't always see such a perfect marriage QB and head coach.
46:15Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy, they should be a package deal wherever, whenever, at any point in time because it has just been magnificent for the two.
46:24And Brock Purdy has been absolutely on fire this year.
46:27On the Atlanta Falcons side of things, you're not playing Michael Penix outside of a super flex format.
46:33So we don't have to talk about that. B.
46:35John, you're not worried about the bad game last week.
46:39It's B. John. But Drake London has had some ups and some downs.
46:43We didn't really see a whole lot from the secondary, but they did make plays on Monday night against the Washington Commanders.
46:49Are we nervous about Drake London in week seven?
46:52Nah. I mean, I'm not worried about Drake London.
46:55I think London has established himself in this offense that you're going to have a down-ish week here or there.
47:01But the target shares continued all season long. I should say the last month of being north of 30%.
47:07And he was, I mean, he just didn't catch.
47:10I mean, Kyle Bits got the two touchdowns. It's like if you give one of those touchdowns to London, all of a
47:17sudden you're talking about a 22-point performance. So I'm cool with London.
47:21I think he continues to kind of sit up in the conversation of that wide receiver, you know, 9, 10, 11, 12 kind of conversation.
47:29It's a tough matchup. It's a bottom-eight matchup on the roster watch matchup tool this week.
47:34But I do think you continue to trust Drake London here against the Niners.
47:38Yeah. At worst, he's a high-end wide receiver, too, in the ranks.
47:42You got to play him. Remember, Johan Dotson also scored on like a 14-yard touchdown.
47:46So that's all, you know, nasty catch. Three touchdowns, though.
47:50None of them going to Drake London. And on Kyle Pitts, Kyle Pitts, you mentioned, got the two tutties.
47:56Chig Okonkwo played good against his defense this past Monday.
47:59But is this a trap? Should managers go back to the Kyle Pitts well?
48:03Because the Niners have been tough against tight ends this year.
48:06I mean, dude, back-to-back, back-to-back top ten finishes by Kyle Pitts?
48:10What year is it? Is this like, is this, are we in like...
48:14Every year. We're in a Kyle Pitts loop over the last six years.
48:18Well, last year he did go on a stretch where he finishes a top ten tight end a week 13, 14, 15, 16.
48:25So he can keep pushing it. I mean, the opportunities are there.
48:29He's heating up. Michael Penix looks solid. Like, he keeps his team in the fight week in and week out.
48:35So I think you can trust it to a certain extent.
48:39I'm not going to say he's going to be a top five guy.
48:43But I certainly don't think he's going to be out to the top 15, 16 this week.
48:48Kyle Pitts or Juwan Johnson in France? That's tight.
48:51I'll go Juwan. Kyle Pitts or Harold Fannin, who's had some bad weeks?
48:55Yeah, I think I got to go Pitts. Pitts or Travis Kelsey?
48:59Oh, I love Kelsey. You'll never get me off Kelsey.
49:02And last one, Kyle Pitts or Hunter Henry, who's caught fire lately?
49:06Dobbs is out. AJ Brown's got feet for hands at Chicago.
49:09That's tight. I don't even. That's a post. Where are you going with that?
49:13I think I'm leaning Henry. I'm leaning Henry on that.
49:17He's going to have Drake London. When Drake London is dealing, Hunter Henry is producing.
49:21That correlation is straight up and down like 6 o'clock.
49:24And I'm chasing that. I think that's going to be a good offensive game on Thursday.
49:29So I'm going to chase that. Still too early for the Chicago weather to be bad.
49:34Drake May is dealing, not Drake London. Drake London can't deal to Hunter Henry.
49:39That was a ridiculous slip there. But we were talking about the Falcons.
49:43So I guess it's absolutely ridiculous. When Drake May is dealing, Henry is producing.
49:47The next game we're going to talk about the New York Giants head to Houston to take on the suddenly hot Houston Texans.
49:54Over under 42 and a half. Giants getting 10 points as road underdogs.
49:59Let's start with the Giants. Malik Neighbors, yeah, no matter what, always going to play it.
50:0420 targets. Give me it. Don't care. So we love Malik.
50:07But anywhere else, are we playing these running backs?
50:10The situation looks bleaker than ever. What are we thinking about for quarterback?
50:14Isaiah likely will put him in the must-start territory too.
50:17He's been absolutely electric this year. So we're playing Malik.
50:20We're playing Isaiah. What else are we doing with the Giants?
50:24I mean, I'll be interested to see what they do with the quarterback here.
50:28This could be the ultimate. Didn't we just see that happen?
50:31And when I say that, it is the Dylan Raiola, Oregon Duck.
50:35Dylan Raiola enters the game, goes berserk for a half.
50:38The next week, he gets to be prepared for by a good defense.
50:42That was UCLA. This is now the Houston freaking Texans.
50:45And now J.J. McCarthy might look like a, what, polished turd?
50:49J.J., you might look like nine. He's 18. Last week he was 18.
50:53Does he go back to nine? He might go back to nine this week.
50:57But here's the deal. So as much as you innately would tell yourself that this Texans defense, and I think this Texas
51:04defense, I think the Texans found, I think they found themselves.
51:08Like Titans game was what it was. Like you needed to go in there to, if you got like, if you messed
51:15around with the Titans, you were like, all right, we might be, we might have some systemic problems.
51:20Right. They handled the Titans, then they went over to London, and I think they found their nuts.
51:26You know, and that, like that Jaguar team's damn good, man.
51:29They still don't get enough respect, but that Jaguar team's damn good.
51:33And they fought them off. They held them off.
51:36They turned the ball over. And now they get Tank Dizzy back.
51:40Like this Houston team is finding its nuts. It's finding its swagger.
51:43And they've been bad against receivers all year. So I kind of lean towards like, hey, we're going to get something out of neighbors and likely here.
51:52But I also think that these Texans are about to just rip some teams apart.
51:57Like they, I think they might shred the Giants, the Chargers, the Browns.
52:01This next month might just be, well, Houston is who we thought Houston was.
52:05I don't know what the hell happened in September.
52:08So this thing is what I'm getting at here is the Houston defense has been poor against wide receivers all year.
52:14You cannot beat the roster watch matchup tool because it's been saying all year, like even if you put in some manual
52:21adjustments, there's still a top five defense, like worst, like to, like you want to play them.
52:27Like it's one of the top five matchups of the week for wide receivers.
52:31And you're like, man, I don't want to, I don't want to play these dudes against Derek Stingley.
52:37And it's, they still produce like they find ways to get open.
52:40They find ways to produce. What I'm saying is I'm worried that that thing, that host could get shut off at any moment.
52:48I would rather Jameis Winston play this week. If I'm fantasy gamer, I think he could, he could do a little more YOLO ball.
52:55Can't you just picture that defense swallowing JJ McCarthy holes, spitting him out, shitting him out.
53:00Just, I don't think that would be all that good.
53:03Now in terms of running back, I think Tyron Tracy is a pickup.
53:07But I'm not playing either. They cut, they cut Najee Harris.
53:11So it's really just a two man show. Could it be Singletary?
53:14I guess I'm just not going to play it.
53:17I am picking up Tracy and putting him on my bench to see what happens.
53:22Because remember Tracy versus Scadabo isn't as cut and dry as people make you think it is.
53:27Tracy has had very productive seasons for this team.
53:30Meanwhile, Cam Scadabo has a half a season of decent production.
53:34There is no allegiance to Scadabo over Tracy. And this team is primed to land a Kwon Lacy in round one next
53:40year, to land on Ahmad Hardy if he can come back for the draft season or Jordan Ball.
53:46So I do not love this backfield. I do not have allegiance to this backfield for right now.
53:52And I have no clue how it's going to go.
53:55So I'm sitting Scadabo. I'm sitting Tracy. But I am trying to add Tracy.
53:59And on the Texans side of things, Stroud has been awesome.
54:03He is a QB1. If you got him, you're playing him.
54:06I love Stroud this week in a pretty soft matchup at home against the Giants indoors.
54:11Woody Marks is a straight play if Montgomery misses again.
54:14If not, it's probably an avoid for me for both of those guys.
54:18We don't know exactly how it's going to go.
54:21But, Cody, what I want to ask you is about the wide receivers for the Texans.
54:26Nico Collins has a good game, not a great game.
54:29And it seemed like Stroud really excelled passing the ball all over the place.
54:34We saw Noel over 100 yards in a tud.
54:36Marvin Harrison, three receptions for three first downs. Are we getting a little nervous, Nico?
54:41And if you are, let's say, a 3-3 roster, would you look to move off of Nico Collins in the way of somebody in that range?
54:49Matt Kelly laughed at me 10 days ago for bringing up the idea that...
54:54The longest Sonic Truth in the history of Sonic Truths.
54:57On that show, he laughed at me because I asked, should Nico Collins' dynasty owners be worried about Marvin Harrison Jr.?
55:03What's the answer, Matty? Of course. 100% big issue.
55:06Of course. And I'm not saying he's done. But he was getting all of the important, the high-value moves.
55:12And now, if there is a rapport, which we know there is between Stroud and Marv, and talent for talent, I mean,
55:19if you're just matching up the prospect profiles, it's not even close who's more talented.
55:24Now, obviously, Nico's developed into one of the best in the league, so I'm not going to say that he's not better than Marv.
55:31But I think when you really kind of look under the microscope, and when you look behind the curtain and you see
55:38that the Texans gave up a pick that was two rounds higher than the consensus, means they wanted him.
55:44They wanted him bad. Matty, he showed up. They traded for him on a Sunday.
55:49And they didn't play a home game on Sunday.
55:52They went to a different country. So that means practice was altered.
55:55Preparations were altered. It's a quote-unquote shorter week. And, I mean, it was the shortest week for him.
56:01And he walked in there and only had a 25% route participation.
56:05But it was 25% route. Normally, you see a guy get traded on Sunday, and, like, that following Sunday, he might be
56:12inactive just because it's like, that's a lot to consume.
56:15It's a lot, yeah. And if he is active, he can't get freaking maybe one target, maybe.
56:20Marv had a 13% target share in this game, which is his best target share of the year.
56:26Talk to him, Cody. It's a problem. It's going to be a problem.
56:30Like, he looks significantly more intentional. Obviously, every route video from a month ago when he was with the Cardinals looked terrible.
56:37And then someone posted one this other day from the game for Houston.
56:41And he doesn't look fast, but he looks intentional.
56:44That's all that matters. If he looks intentional and he cares, that's all that really matters.
56:49And now, not even with Marvin, Tank Dell's back, who has been known to be CJ Stern's favorite freaking player.
56:55Good point. There's a significant blinking red lights surrounding Nico Collins' name in every format of fantasy football right now, as much
57:02as I have been one of the largest Nico Collins fans since the days he left Michigan.
57:07He's 27 years old, going to turn 28 in March.
57:10He's at the age apex. Marvin just got traded for a second-round pick, and Tank Dell is back from a two-year injury.
57:17I'm worried. I'm going to sound the bells with you.
57:20If I have Nico Collins, I'm selling it. I think right now, like right now, is the time that you can get 98%, 95% on the dollar.
57:29You can get a Zay Flowers. You can move from Nico and get a Chris Olave.
57:34You could get yourself Justin Jefferson, George Pickens. You're still at the head table selling Nico.
57:39I'm not saying take Nico and sell him for Jalen Waddell plus.
57:42No, no, no. Not a tear down. Just a re-pivot because, yeah, this could be a situation where Nico goes from being
57:49a perennial top 8, top 10 guy per week to a top 17, top 15 guy, which is good, but not exactly what he's done.
57:57And here's my last thought on this we can move on.
58:00Jalen Knowles starting to turn the corner as well.
58:03He is, yep. And that's another weapon. And his issue was playbook.
58:07So if he could figure out the playbook, it was never about talent.
58:11Yeah. So he's starting to turn the corner. Obviously, we know who Dalton Schultz is.
58:16Keishan Butte is good enough. My buddy and I were talking about the Keishan Butte.
58:21If you're his team, you are peeved. You are absolutely peeved.
58:24You shoot your way out of New England to get more targets, and then they go ahead and bring in the kid's
58:31college roommate and his favorite target from two years ago, and he goes right into the corner chair rest of season.
58:37I think Butte probably played with his money a little bit.
58:41Like, if you say there's no Marv, he probably gets enough targets this year to potentially earn a, this is going to
58:48set maybe, I don't know, $14, $15 million a year contract to wide receiver Butte.
58:52But now you're looking at a situation where he's probably going to get swindled a little bit, and he's going to have
58:59to go somewhere for like two years, $14 million.
59:02Instead of like three years. Instead of like three years, 36, it's going to be like, yeah, like two for 12, two for 14.
59:10With an invite to camp. You never want to contract on your fantasy guys when the tagline is invite to camp.
59:16Yeah. But this isn't a Dynasty show. This is a redraft show.
59:20But I do think you hit the nail right on the head with Nico.
59:24It's not time to panic, but it is time to start making other reservations because there's other targets in town that weren't there just a couple weeks ago.
59:33Let's move on to the last three games, the four o'clock slate.
59:37The Denver Broncos head to Arizona to take on the Cardinals over under 43 and a half.
59:42The Broncos are four and a half point favorites on the road, and we will start there.
59:48I hit you with the Jerry Seinfeld earlier. I'm going to hit you with it again.
59:53What's the deal with Bo Nix? I think he stinks.
59:56He's 29th in EPA per dropback. He averages 5.6 yards per attempt.
59:59He averaged fewer than five yards per attempt in each of Denver's last two wins.
60:04Sutton's toast. Waddle is, I don't know if he's not being schemed to.
60:08Like two weeks ago he was good. This week he wasn't good.
60:12I have significant questions when it comes to this offense, and Arizona's offense isn't far behind.
60:17It's actually 28th in yards per play allowed, 29th in defensive EPA.
60:21Like this is the making of hopefully a bad offense beats a bad defense, but the inversely, like I think the Arizona
60:28offense might have just enough to make it interesting.
60:30They're obviously coming off of a game where they didn't score a touchdown, but they beat the Rams.
60:36So I think Nix kind of stinks right now.
60:39I'm not sure if it's a long-term stink or if it's like a lull, but Sean Payton taking over play calling hasn't fixed it.
60:46So from a fantasy football perspective, Matty, I'd love to hear your thoughts from that, but I certainly think at this time Bo Nix is unplayable.
60:55Absolutely unplayable. He's already been benched on teams. If he does not produce this week, I'm completely letting go, dropping.
61:01Completely dropping. And in a lot of redraft leagues, that's already happened because you're not rostering two QBs.
61:06I do play in enough deeper leagues with some sharps that I typically do like to have the two QBs.
61:13And Bo Nix has been on the bench. I am at QB 15 this week.
61:17If he does not produce against the Cardinals, who's been a top-five matchup for quarterbacks, he's done, done ties.
61:23Sean Payton can't save him. Whether it be the ankle, whether it be just a junior year slump, I don't know.
61:30Don't care. He's cut if he doesn't produce this week.
61:33Because like I said, the matchup is there. I guess we'll just stick with the Jerry Seinfeld impression.
61:39What's the deal with Jalen Waddle? I wish I could tell you.
61:42I don't think he stinks. I think he's there.
61:45I just don't know if it's connection or what because we've seen the target share games be there.
61:51I don't know. I don't know. I wish I could tell you what was wrong with him.
61:56But like he had 30% target share last week and scored six points.
62:00It's like, I don't know. I wish I could tell you.
62:04I wish I had something for you. But I think it's just a systemic thing with this offense right now.
62:10So for me, I think that Jalen Waddle is such a buy for contenders.
62:14If you're 6-0, 5-1, even 4-2, I'm throwing some disrespectful low ball offers.
62:18And here's why. The target share you talked about.
62:21The targets are there. The connection's not. And if I don't completely think Bo Nix is done as a prospect, I still think he's a good player.
62:30My take was more of a redraft sense. I still think he's good enough to get him the rock.
62:36And then let me just talk to you about the end of the season for the Broncos.
62:41At New York Jets. And now we get into the fantasy playoffs.
62:45At the Las Vegas Raiders. Home versus Buffalo. At the New England Patriots.
62:49That Patriots championship game might be a bit dicey.
62:52A little Christian Gonzalez action. But that Vegas-Buffalo back-to-back in the playoffs.
62:55Give me the targets against those secondaries. I think he could absolutely go bananas.
63:00So I'm not done with Jalen Waddell. And if I'm a contender, I'm buying.
63:04And if I'm not, if I need wins now, it's the perfect marriage.
63:08That's why he's such a buy for me. Because it's such a good marriage between contenders and pretenders.
63:14Need to win now. Can sit on something for later.
63:17So I think he is a buy for me.
63:20And another potential buy for me. Jonah Coleman. Whose practice window could be opened.
63:24At the time of this recording, has not yet.
63:27But what's your thoughts on the backfield? Because last week was brutal.
63:31Dobbins gets you the touchdown, so you're saved. But he looks dusty.
63:34Harvey looks like the most gadget back in the history of gadget backs.
63:39Is Jonah Coleman the savior for this Broncos rushing attack?
63:42And he's the savior for some of our fantasy teams.
63:45I think so. They went out and got him.
63:48Dobbins looks cooked. I can't believe the talking point about him in the soft season.
63:52Now listen, the last two weeks with Sean Payton calling plays have been his best two weeks.
63:58But it's because of a force feeding of opportunity for him.
64:01I don't know what that looks like when Jonah Coleman comes back.
64:05And I hope it brings, you know, go back to week two.
64:09The only week we really have with Jonah Coleman.
64:11A 42% snap share. 32% for J.K. Dobbins. Nothing for R.J.
64:15Harvey that week. A rush share split. 42% to 42% between Dobbins and Jonah Coleman.
64:2011% target share for Coleman. 0% for Dobbins. Again, that's where Dobbins is now.
64:2410, 11, 13% target share. So I think there's a blinking red light on Dobbins as far as like what could happen
64:31this week if Jonah Coleman comes back. Because clearly they want to use him.
64:35They want to use him in week two. Why wouldn't they want to use him in week six?
64:41So both guys probably sitting around that, to me, running back 34, 35, 36 kind of area.
64:46Just because I'm too much of a coward to say one thing's going to happen versus the other.
64:52I also don't trust Sean Payton to give me anything that makes sense in this backfield.
64:57It's better than the Chargers backfield. I will say that.
65:00But the usage might not be better. Yeah. The production might be slightly better.
65:04But I think when Coleman comes back, I'm avoiding all of the guys.
65:08You can maybe convince me to play Jonah Coleman in a blowout game script or RJ Harvey in a shootout game script.
65:15But other than that, I don't want anything to do with it because JK Dobbins isn't just getting benched.
65:21Point blank pick. He's not getting benched no matter how dusty he is.
65:25I'll take, I mean, the one thing I will do is I'll take anytime touchdown and prize picks for Jonah Coleman.
65:32Oh yeah. I like that 209, bitch. That's a Stockton, California reference.
65:36If you know, you know. All right. Let's talk about their opponents, the Arizona Cardinals.
65:40The one win streak, Arizona Cardinals after beating the Rams on six field goals.
65:45Six field goals. But we're not talking about Rylan.
65:47We're not talking about the kicker. We're talking about the offense.
65:51We don't really need to talk about quarterback. I don't care if it's Jacoby Brissett, Carson Beck.
65:56We're not playing any of these guys in redraft right now.
66:00Running back though. No Jeremiah Love. We thought it was all systems go for Tyler Algier.
66:05Insert Bam Knight. Are you playing anyone in this backfield with or without Jeremiah Love?
66:09What a swindle. What a complete swindle this Tyler Algier.
66:12Fate and switch. Just like, ooh, yeah, baby. We're looking at an 80 percentile Algier.
66:17Psych! I'm like, what? Zonovan Knight. Okay, thanks. Cool.
66:20So, yeah, we're not doing that again. Definitely not against the Broncos.
66:24So, I'm fading that whole backfield. As far as the receiver room goes, like, obviously it's going to be a tougher mashup here for Michael.
66:32Michael Wilson. His trend line hasn't been great in the last couple of weeks, especially with Marv gone now.
66:38So, Kendrick Bourne probably going to be, again, in that puke area with Keenan Allen and Malik Washington.
66:43Kendrick Bourne's going to lump his name in there.
66:46The target share's been there the last couple of weeks.
66:49He's not going to have to get much Pat.
66:52Wait, is Pat Sertan back? He did not play last week.
66:55So, we'll have to see. They had the extended break coming off Thursday Night Football.
67:00So, we'll have to see what the practice reports are on Wednesday.
67:04Well, I mean, if there's – it sounds like he's questionable right now.
67:08Yeah. He might be back. Obviously, that weighs large in this situation.
67:12That's kind of the angle I'm going for right here.
67:15Like, if I anticipate Sertan's back, he'll be against Wilson.
67:18That's going to open the door for Kendrick Bourne.
67:21Otherwise, I don't want anything outside of McBride. Ooh, that's tough.
67:24I will still play Michael Wilson, even with Sertan on the field, because the targets have been there.
67:30But he's just outside of my wide receiver two range.
67:33So, if you have better players, which you could at this point in the year, I would slide him out.
67:39Like, if you were a team that had drafted Christian Watson to be a wide receiver three, but you already had an
67:46Olave or a CeeDee Lamb, then you could push him out.
67:50You could push him out. I think you could go a few different ways.
67:54But I still have him just outside my top 24, so I'm at wide receiver 26.
67:59So, I'm not completely out on him. Coker? McBride, obviously.
68:02No, Michael Wilson. Coker or Michael Wilson? No. I am taking Coker.
68:06Denzel Boston? Michael Wilson. Really? Yeah. How about your boy Waddle?
68:09Michael Wilson. Okay. But, I mean, you got closer and closer and closer.
68:13The biggest discrepancy was Coker to Wilson. Coker's a smash play for me.
68:17I have both his top 15. That was the biggest play for me.
68:21That was the biggest difference. But Boston, I am just outside my top 30, so only a few spots off.
68:28And Waddle, I am at wide receiver 28. So, just two spots difference there.
68:32So, it's getting close. But I still like Michael Wilson this week enough to play, but not a smash play by any means.
68:39And, of course, Trey McBride is just next. You just said it.
68:43Forget it. Especially at tight end. Because even down weeks at tight end could be still a top 10 week in terms of the position.
68:51So, we're going to play Trey McBride. Let's go on to the Los Angeles Rams taking on the Las Vegas Raiders.
68:57This could be a fun one over under 48.5 Rams.
69:01Four and a half point favorites despite being on the road in the city of sin.
69:06But we will start with those Rams. Devontae Adams out potentially six to ten weeks.
69:10So, that means Puka, can you handle 30 targets?
69:13We will wait and find out. But there's no analysis needed on Puka Nakua.
69:17But what I am going to ask you is without Devontae Adams, are we looking at Canyano Mumfeld?
69:23Are we looking at a Jordan Winnington? Or are we looking at a Tyler Higbee potentially?
69:28Who benefits from those targets being vacated? I was kind of hoping Terrence Ferguson was going to come back this week.
69:35But this sounds like he's still going to be two, three weeks away from being back the tight end.
69:41You know, in true fashion, it's probably going to be like Tutu Atwell catching a deep ball down the left sideline.
69:47Something like this. Jordan Whittington, you would say, theoretically would get a bump in total output.
69:52But Canyano Mumfeld seems to be running ahead of Whittington right now.
69:56Canyano Mumfeld, was he a third-year guy from Pitt?
69:59Second-year guy from Pitt? I can't remember exactly what year he came out.
70:03But we've seen him pop at least in week three when there was no Puka.
70:08So, that kind of correlates to me that I think Canyano Mumfeld could be a guy that's back in line for north of 80% route participation.
70:16You know, around a 20% target share. And unlike some of these other guys that we've talked about, getting a 35-40% target
70:23share and giving you six points, when Canyano had a 17% target share back in week three, he gave you 19 freaking points.
70:30That's the art of what Matthew Stafford brings. I think this game is going to have some push to it.
70:36You got a lot of injuries going on in this whole situation.
70:40Not just the kicker getting completely waxed poetically, but also the two defensive tackles for the Rams.
70:45Puna Ford's out for the year. Kobe Turner's expected to miss a couple of weeks with a groin injury.
70:51So, potentially this run game gets going for the Raiders.
70:54And that can push the Rams offense, hopefully, to get things right.
70:58I don't know, man. It's a very messy situation.
71:01But I would say Canyano feels like the right play here.
71:04Yeah, Canyano was actually, I saw this week come up off waivers.
71:08The price tag wasn't really there. I think it could be an absolute value for this team going forward.
71:14Because they have to throw the ball to someone else.
71:17There was just so much production that went Devontae Adams away.
71:20And again, you can't take Puka's 20 targets a game, make it 30.
71:25It just ain't going to happen. Someone else is going to benefit from this.
71:29And I'll be honest with you, Cody. I'm just loving the impression.
71:33So, I'm going to go right back to it.
71:35What's the deal with that backfield? I don't know.
71:38I don't know. I don't know. Isn't this exactly what we saw last year?
71:43There was just a chunk of the middle part of the season where they go, we're not going to overrun.
71:49We're just not going to run Kyron like crazy.
71:52He was a beast at the beginning. He was slow in the middle.
71:56He came back a little bit more towards the end.
71:59Isn't this just a 50-50 coin flip on any given week?
72:02But, yes. But the thing is, by the end of the year, the opportunities for Corum became closer to like, he never quite got like a 50-50 split.
72:11But he had one game where it was 46%, but the majority of them were 32, 35, 33, 37, 34, 32, 30, 36, 36.
72:19Like, that was where the thing melted out. And obviously, down the stretch, that gave us multiple 10, 12, 14-plus fantasy point outputs for Blake Corum.
72:27And it cooled down Kyron a little bit, but he still gave us.
72:31So, I'm looking here. One game. One game between week 5 and week 17 where Kyron was outside of RB2 territory.
72:37One game. And that was week 12. And if you go to week 12 for Corum, he also shat the bed too.
72:44So, that was just a bad week overall for that backfield.
72:48But like every week, they pretty much got the job done.
72:51Again, I don't think this offensive line is as good as it was last year.
72:56It wasn't good last year either. But I think you can continue to see that Blake Corum opportunities tick up.
73:02He's doing a lot with it. I thought off the rip, like they talked about it.
73:07Hey, man, this is going to be a 50-50 split.
73:10Maybe that's still coming. But yeah, the trend line is definitely going in our direction if you're a Blake Corum owner.
73:17To get this thing closer to 50-50 would obviously impact giving us.
73:21I think this is one of the rare situations, Matty, where because they're so similar and because they've been in this system
73:28for so long and now you think this Adams thing has to have a little impact.
73:33Do they run the ball four more times a game?
73:36Do they throw the ball two more times to Kyron, which means let's hand the ball to Corum two or three more times.
73:43So there could be a shift here from the overall rush attempts, routes, targets, that type of a conversation.
73:49But it's a rare backfield where, especially with no Adams, you could be looking at two guys that could consistently, week in
73:56and week out, give you top 24 finishes, which is rare.
73:59I mean, they could be top 20 finishes. We saw them multiple times last year.
74:04It's a rare offense with a rare coach and a rare coordinator and a rare opportunity where both their talents can meet
74:11together and both be top 20 options week in and week out.
74:14I have no advice in terms of roster transactions, buying, selling, because I need to see what it looks like this week without Devontae.
74:22Or just going after that game before the news of Adams, I was selling both.
74:27I was pivoting inside my top 12 running backs with Kyron, and I was selling Corum on a bit of a high
74:34for someone who's a little bit more predictable week to week.
74:37But you painted the picture, and I agree with it.
74:40If Kyron gets three more targets and Corum gets three more carries, they both can be producers, especially with these injuries coming
74:47up at this time of year, especially with the bye weeks, drudging us through the mud these next few weeks.
74:53So I need to wait and see before I make any type of transactional possibility.
74:58But I think you could play – I'm still playing Kyron in my running back spot, and I'm definitely looking to play
75:05Blake Corum in my flex spot or even potentially as a running back too if needed.
75:10Can I say one thing? I know that the Rams feel like they're dead and gone as far as the playoff conversation
75:17goes, but they're literally one game out of the playoff.
75:20They're still absolutely in it. Yeah, the NFC right now has six teams at 2-4, and that's a game behind Seattle at 3-3.
75:27Obviously, the Rams are going to play Seattle this year.
75:30I don't know if the Saints are going to be able to hold on.
75:35The Cardinals – there's a bunch of teams in there that you're not sure they're going to be able to hold on.
75:41Can the Giants hold on? There's a whole bunch of questions that can be asked there, so I don't think the Rams are dead and gone.
75:50I think this is a massive game for them.
75:52I know it feels like they're maybe vulnerable here in the Raiders.
75:56The Raiders have been playing some – Kirk Cochains has been playing some fucking football this year.
76:01And I think it's a good point to bring up – and the Rams also, there's no soft reset.
76:07They don't have their first. They're going to fight tooth and nail all year because why not?
76:13That's the team that they built. That's the mentality that they have.
76:17I can expect a very big bounce back, but you bring up Kirk Cochains, and I think that's a great place to
76:23start with the Raiders because he's been one QB league viable.
76:27He has been a decent start for you this season for us redraft players.
76:31But I need to ask the question, are the days of starting Kirk Cochains done?
76:36Because at any point, when are we going to see Fernando come in?
76:40It could be at halftime. This is a playoff contending team, man.
76:44If they beat the Rams – If they beat the Rams, sure.
76:47Well, let's say they come out and they're getting their doors blown off.
76:52The Cardinals just beat the Rams, brother. But we just talked about how the Rams are not done, do not bury the Rams.
76:59There is a world in which they get boat raced, Kirk throws two picks, and Fernando's warming up at halftime.
77:05I don't know if that – I don't know if – I don't know.
77:09I don't know if that world exists. So then your answer is keep going back to the Kirk Cousins world.
77:16Don't sweat it. He's got QB6 in fantasy football this year.
77:19That's my point is he's been good. But at what point do we have to protect ourselves from losing him in the
77:26third quarter and the second quarter and never getting him back?
77:29I don't think that that's on the – I don't think that that's on the edge of the – I'll be honest with you.
77:37I really think that the Raiders are in a situation where they just want to establish the idea that you can win football games.
77:44And the best player to allow you to win football games right now is Kirk Cousins.
77:49Again, he is – I don't want to say he's white hot.
77:53He's not from an efficiency perspective. But he's ripping the goddamn football.
77:57And I think consistently week in and week out – I know he's cooled off compared to the first couple weeks of the year.
78:04But it's not – it's going to be a murderous row here in a couple of weeks.
78:10But the Rams and Jets these next two weeks are both gettable teams.
78:14And if you're the Raiders and you get the Rams at home and then you go to New York and you get
78:21the Jets, it's like you're 5-3 at that point.
78:24Yes, it's going to get tough down the stretch.
78:26But there's also – you look down at the end of it and you're like, oh, I see the Titans down there.
78:33I see the Cardinals down there. I see the Browns down there.
78:37I see the Chargers down there. This is a team that can win nine games is what I'm saying.
78:43And I don't think you throw that away because having – if Mendoza can sit the whole entire year and Kirk Cousins
78:50gets this whole year to just beat Kirk Cousins and he's in a one-year deal, that buys Kirk Cousins another one-year deal in Tennessee next year.
78:58That buys Kirk Cousins another one-year deal in Arizona next year.
79:01And then you say, all right, well, we just won nine games.
79:05We got bounced in the first round of playoffs.
79:08Now it's time for Fernando. That's kind of how I view that whole situation.
79:12So I understand. I totally get like we could get rug pulled at any point with Kirk Cousins, but, man, he's been
79:19a – like literally the QB6 with throwing it to popcorn and Cheez-Its all every day.
79:24Outside of Brock Bowers, it's like – Yeah, exactly.
79:27Like – Yeah, well, I agree. I agree. I mean, Gila Naylor looks all right.
79:32Trey Tucker looks all right. But it's like, come on, man.
79:35What are we doing here? And I don't think that that's a – one of the worst run games in the sport right now.
79:43And a Brock Bowers who's in and out of the lineup as far as health and not a really good wide receiver
79:50core is not the best situation I want to put Fernando in if I am the GM or I am the head coach.
79:57So, no, I don't think we're going to get rug pulled at least for the next two months, month and a half maybe, six, eight weeks.
80:05You just got me to move him up a significant amount of spots, seven spots in my rankings because you're right.
80:12I do see that picture being painted. And the orders from the top from Mr.
80:16Brady, part owner, is sit and learn. Yeah. Sit and learn.
80:20Sit and learn. And if you see this season trending down, that is not the time to bring in your rookie.
80:26You want him to be part of the ascension, not part of the downfall.
80:31So, I think after listening to you, you've helped solidify that.
80:34I'm going to continue to proceed with Kirk Cousins, which means Brock Bowers is a top two guy every week.
80:40Trey Tucker is a high-end flex play each and every week.
80:44But to keep on pace with my new favorite thing, what's the deal with Ashton Gentry?
80:49Well, first off, I wish that this overall run game was a little more efficient.
80:53I don't think he stinks. Do you see, like, they're writing things, like the Raiders beat and stuff, is like writing things about, like, benching Jinty and, like...
81:02Trent Richardson is what they're calling him. Yeah, I didn't want to say that.
81:07But, yeah, that's the comparison. I don't think he's that bad.
81:10I just think he might be... I just think he's hurt.
81:14I think he's hurt, and I think this offensive line is not run blocking near to the level that they can.
81:20That was supposed to be, like, a big improvement of this team was this offensive line, and they have not lived up to...
81:27You know, they have not lived up to the bill of getting JPJ and...
81:32Not moving JPJ, sorry, and bringing in Linderbaum. Like, it was supposed to be this slight change that's going to, you know, bring this offense back up.
81:40DJ Glaze is going to take another step, and Colton Miller's going to be healthy, and it just hasn't all worked out.
81:47I think a lot of that can be pointed at.
81:50The fact that defenses aren't like, hey, I'm scared of Kirk Cousins.
81:54And then he was able to take advantage of them early, and they're prepared for Ashton Gentry because they know who he is.
82:01This isn't a hard offense to scheme for. Like, it's Gentry, it's Bowers.
82:05And I don't know. I don't think he's healthy.
82:08That's my big thing here. So I wonder what that means.
82:11Like, is there a potential thing where, again, like you said, they could lose this game.
82:16You talk about benching Kirko and bringing in Fernando.
82:19It's like I'd be more like, hey, what if Ashton Gentry just popped up on the IR on Sunday, and he's out
82:26for four weeks, and Mike Washington starts. That's absolutely on the table.
82:30And I wonder behind the scenes if Ashton Gentry is fighting to stay off the IR because he's seen how good Mike Washington has looked.
82:38Because if you have never watched football, let's just say you met Cody and I at a bar.
82:43We start chit-chatting. You go, what's this football thing I had never watched?
82:47Oh, well, let's sit down and watch a game with us.
82:51And you watch the Raiders game, you would be like, why is number two playing over number four?
82:56Because Mike Washington has looked efficient. He looks the part.
83:00And Ashton Gentry doesn't look himself. He looks injured.
83:02So I wonder if there's a little bit of fighting behind the scenes.
83:06Like, I can't go on the IR. I can't let this guy have a lion's share.
83:12I can't let this guy have a lion's share.
83:14But having said all that, if I'm 6-0, 5-1, 4-2, I'm looking to buy Ashton Gentry.
83:19I think there's a lot left in the tank.
83:22He's still putting out good fantasy weeks. Despite not looking so good.
83:2616 points last week in the first half and then really didn't play the second half.
83:31But you still take the 16 points. It helps you win.
83:34So I'm looking to buy Gentry, especially if he does go to the IR.
83:39Because I think that'll save him from himself. Give him a month off.
83:43And when you have a potential running back one type when you go into the playoffs.
83:48So I think sometimes you have to block your nose and make a trade.
83:52I think buying Gentry on the dip makes sense for this year.
83:56So I agree. I think he's hurt. And I think they should give him a week.
84:01They talked. They teased it last week. Would you sit him for a week?
84:05Would you sit him for a week? Well, they certainly sat him for a half.
84:10Because he did not play much last week in the second half against the Bills.
84:15So I think you need to get this kid right.
84:18You got to get him healthy. Because I still think he's a very good football player.
84:23Last game on the slate that we're going to talk about here for the game plan.
84:28First and foremost, thank you guys so much for tuning in.
84:31And watching. Getting notes to win in your week 7 matchup.
84:35So thank you. Make sure you like, subscribe. Do all that good stuff.
84:39The Green Bay Packers. Your arch nemesis. Your rivals.
84:42Head to their rivals, the Detroit Lions, to take on the, what do you call them?
84:47The Motor City Pretty Kitties. 53 and a half point over under.
84:50Yeah, baby. Plus three for the visiting Packers. Packers getting a little bit of juice on the money line.
84:56I like that. But let's start with that. Jordan Love seems to be the MVP of the year.
85:02But the question on everyone's mind, Cody. Josh Jacobs is back.
85:05Should he be back in our lineups? That's an aggressive.
85:09Jordan Love's the MVP. That's an interesting. I'm going to have to wrap my head around that one.
85:14He's on. I mean, he's on the short list.
85:17He's got to be at least top three. Got to be.
85:20Him, Purdy, and Allen. I mean, because you can never take Allen off it.
85:25But other than that, who do you got? Let me look this up.
85:29I haven't even thought about MVP odds. I've been too inundated with Heisman odds.
85:33Josh Allen, plus 180. Brock Purdy, plus 260. Big drop off to Pat Mahomes, plus 900.
85:38I don't know if Pat Mahomes deserves to be on there right now.
85:42He doesn't. It's his name and his record, which I get is the award.
85:47It's the best record quarterback, essentially. But Jordan Love, the way he's playing, he is dicing up defenses right now.
85:53T-Law, Burrow, Drake May, Goff, then Love at plus 3,000, then Bryce Young.
85:57That's way too low. I like the value. Way too low.
86:01You're talking me into a little bit of value.
86:03I mean, I think it's going to be tough to get the thing away from Josh Allen or Brock Purdy.
86:10But I agree. Yeah, that's interesting. That's an interesting, interesting.
86:13He's been hot as hell the last couple of weeks, has Jordan Love.
86:17The Detroit defense does get back Brian Branch this week, supposedly.
86:20So we'll see him. I think Rocky Asin returned to practice, the cornerback.
86:24So what has been a place that people have been able to take advantage of as far as the defensive backfield for
86:31the Detroit Lions, it's the number one matchup on the roster watch matchup.
86:35You're talking, you're indoors. Jordan Love's been hot as hell.
86:38He's been quarterback six in back-to-back weeks, Matthew Golden, feeding Christian Watson.
86:42And now there's an idea that potentially at time of recording, Jacobs is eligible.
86:47He's been removed from the exempt list. They're planning a full week of practice for him to determine his readiness.
86:53I anticipate he's been training and getting ready for this.
86:56I don't anticipate he's being a couch potato for the last week.
87:00His coaches have echoed that sentiment as well. That he's been a couch potato?
87:04No, that he's been staying game ready as much as you can not being in games.
87:09Yeah, I mean, I think if you're suing to get a video not released, I think that your intentions are like, hey,
87:16dude, I'm trying to play football now. Like, let's push this thing off as far as we can.
87:22And he knows he's only got a couple years left in the league regardless.
87:26So not that that really matters. But my point is saying, like, I think he's ready to get out there and kind
87:33of, you know, score four touchdowns and not have some off-field stuff being brought up.
87:38So that only helps this Green Bay offense. So I think as far as that goes, like, Jordan Love's a top three quarterback this week.
87:45But have you ranked Jacob, I was going to say Jacob Josh yet.
87:49But have you ranked Josh Jacobs yet? I have.
87:52I have ranked. They seem pretty adamant that he's playing.
87:55Can I guess? I have met running backs. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
87:59Can I guess? I want to guess because it's a middling matchup.
88:03We haven't seen him this year. I'm going to say you probably put him after Bucky.
88:08Maybe after Braylon. I'm going to go running back 14.
88:11Oh, dude, you know me so well. So well.
88:14So these are my these are the rankings I have right now.
88:18Bucky Irving, Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Braylon Allen, back to back to back.
88:22But I have Jacobs at I have Jacobs at running back 16.
88:26OK. All right. So close. But that is the exact range I have him in.
88:30I mean, the thought that I get rust, but we've talked about it all the time in terms of getting off the couch and producing at the NFL.
88:39Of course, it's not easy for anyone. But if it is easy, I use bunny ears easy.
88:44It's for running backs. Yeah. Running backs. As long as they're not hurt, they could they just jump right in.
88:51They could just play. You see guys from the couch all the time.
88:55You kind of just come in and give a game or two.
88:59Emmanuel Wilson dropped a 30 biscuit out of nowhere.
89:01And I know he was playing, but was he playing?
89:05He wasn't playing that much more than Josh Jacobs.
89:07Maybe that's a little bit hyperbole, but still, Josh Jacobs is a pro.
89:11Job Jacobs has been staying ready to play. And if you're LaFleur, he looks good.
89:16Why? What are you managing? Marsha Lloyd sucks. Yes, small calves.
89:20And that is what I want to roll this into.
89:23You could drop Marsha Lloyd. You could drop Marsha Lloyd.
89:26He's done. Peter Strong's already outperformed him. That's right.
89:29He's done. You could drop him in redraft. You could drop him or trade him in Dynasty.
89:34But this is a redraft show. You could drop him.
89:37Because even if the video gets released, which means Jacobs is done rest of season, if that video gets released, that's what
89:44people, that's what my connections in Wisconsin are saying.
89:47As long as that video doesn't be seen by the public, he's going to play, which makes it kind of silly.
89:53So if you're a morals guy, you don't want to play him.
89:57I get that too. But if you're just doing objectively, he's right outside the running back one range, running back two for me.
90:04And I could see him scoring three touchdowns right off rip because this running back room has been so bad and he
90:11can help them so much right away. How many top 16 wide receivers do you have in this football game?
90:17I have one. I have two. I have three.
90:20I have three with one knocking on the door.
90:23JMO knock on the door? JMO knocking on the door.
90:26I'll always play. We said this a couple weeks ago.
90:29You're playing JMO in a projected 50 point over under.
90:32Period. Point blank period. Yeah, that's yep. Hey, it was wide receiver 15 last week, 19 the week before.
90:38So it's like he's warming. I know people have, you know, he didn't start the season very well.
90:44But as JMO heats up, it seems like Amon Ra has cooled a little bit from his start.
90:50This is a game, again, like you brought up, man.
90:53It's a 52, 53 and a half point total in Detroit.
90:56You're getting a couple defensive pieces back, but that doesn't, that's not the end all be all.
91:02So this is a quintessential shoot all of them.
91:04Not even shoot him. If you got him, just shoot him all.
91:08If you don't got him, you're shooting him. Like if you don't got him, go to FanDuel, put a, put a lineup together and shoot him.
91:16Put him in a lineup. Do something. Everybody. Jameer Gibbs, you know, all the tech, put a tight end in here.
91:23All the receivers. I mean, hell, you probably are going to be sitting here with an opportunity to, hey, look, you know,
91:30what is, what's the, what's the little white guy's name?
91:33Tesla. Tom Kennedy. Tom Kennedy caught football for the first time this year.
91:37Touchdown Lions. This is, this is a Brock Wright touchdown game is what you're saying?
91:42Savion Williams. Touchdown Packers. Oh God, don't do it.
91:44Don't do this to our listeners, Cody. Last game of the slate, you're basically going to just mess with all the heads, turn them all into Swiss cheese.
91:53But that's what I'm saying. This is a 35, 34.
91:56This is, this is. Yeah. And we all know, I have no stats to back this up, but we all, if you
92:03watch red zone enough, you watched football enough, you know, there is a banger four o'clock game early week.
92:09And even if it starts slow, all you need is the last quarter and a half.
92:14Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, blitzkrieg.
92:19And, and, and the Raiders used up their opportunities last week.
92:23The Rams used up their opportunities. The Cardinals used up their opportunities.
92:26Like this is the week for the Packers and Lions and the afternoon slate.
92:31And we've seen the last couple of years. Here's some finishes at Detroit.
92:35Ready for this? 31, 24, 34, 31, 29, 22, 37, 30.
92:38They're scoring points, dog. They're scoring points. And we're helping you win your week seven matchup.
92:43This is the game plan. Make sure you're subscribed to play a profiler.
92:47Wherever you watch the video, listening in on podcasts, subscribe, like, comment.
92:51Do all that good stuff. Cody, let's get these guys ready to win next week for week eight.
92:57But until then, bye.
