Bijan Robinson

NegativeValue28:40

Bijan Robinson was selected over Ken Walker in a tournament lineup primarily for correlation purposes; if Caleb Williams has a big game, the Bears offense will eventually be pushed and Robinson benefits from that game script.

Insight page
NegativeValue31:51

Bijan Robinson was part of high-ownership combinations in DFS tournaments; lineups featuring both Bijan and Puka Nakua required similar salary-saving strategies and were likely paired with Titans defense, creating correlated ownership patterns.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeProjection8:00

Blake Corum scored a receiving touchdown in this game despite the source's 10,000 simulations showing zero instances of Corum scoring a receiving touchdown. This outcome was highly unlikely based on simulation modeling and represents a variance outlier that frustrated the source's DFS lineup construction.

Insight page
PositiveRole26:48

Blake Corum is taking on two-minute drill snaps, which is expected to reduce Kyron Johnson's receiving role and projections going forward.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

NegativeValue4:40

The source considered downgrading from Braylon Allen at running back in a DFS lineup in order to upgrade at quarterback from Matthew Stafford to Caleb Williams and then upgrade to Chuba Hubbard; this suggests Allen was viewed as a lower-priority play compared to Hubbard.

Insight page
NegativeProjection10:30

Braylon Allen was included in the source's cash game and tournament lineup for this slate, alongside Matthew Stafford, Kyron Williams, Puka Nakua, Drake London, Jeremy Bernard, Isaiah Likely, Xavier Worthy, and the Carolina Panthers defense.

Insight page
NegativeRole10:40

Source played Braylon Allen in DFS lineup but acknowledges this was a floor-level performance; regrets prioritizing Drake London over better alternatives like Chuba Hubbard; source notes Allen was not a terrible play but suboptimal given available options.

Insight page
NegativeValue32:45

Braylon Allen was included in a DFS tournament lineup that had a pre-lock ROI of 5% positive but underperformed post-lock.

Insight page
NegativeValue36:12

Braylon Allen was selected over Chuba Hubbard in a DFS lineup, creating a $600 salary difference that allowed for roster construction flexibility; the source noted this was a reasonable pivot given the cost differential.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeValue4:40

The source considered a DFS lineup pivot from Matthew Stafford to Caleb Williams at quarterback, using the salary savings to upgrade from Braylon Allen to Chuba Hubbard at running back; this lineup construction was ultimately not played.

Insight page
PositiveProjection5:00

Identified as a viable quarterback play on the slate alongside Matthew Stafford as one of the primary options.

Insight page
PositiveProjection8:24

The source liked Caleb Williams straight up more than Matthew Stafford for this slate. Williams' fantasy stats are artificially deflated by Ben Johnson's run-heavy play-calling scheme; the Bears are the best running offense in the game, which limits Williams' passing volume despite his talent.

Insight page
NegativeRole9:00

Despite liking Caleb Williams' talent, the source did not consider him a good cash game play for this specific slate due to hamstring health concerns (Williams himself said he was not 100%), overall play volume concerns from the Bears' run-heavy offense, and Ben Johnson's demonstrated willingness to run the ball extensively.

Insight page
NegativeValue10:40

Source states 'I don't think Caleb was a good cash game play' at the start of the segment; indicates Caleb Williams was not a recommended DFS cash game selection.

Insight page
PositiveProjection29:00

Caleb Williams is expected to eventually have a game with 500 passing yards and five touchdowns, though the timing is uncertain; he was used as a correlation play in tournament lineups.

Insight page
PositiveProjection29:36

The source anticipates a breakout game for Caleb Williams where the Bears will eventually get pushed in a game and he will post 500 passing yards and five touchdowns, though the timing is uncertain.

Insight page
NegativeValue32:45

Caleb Williams was selected in a DFS tournament lineup with a pre-lock ROI of 5% positive but low field-aware ROI and SIM ROI, indicating the lineup underperformed expectations after lock.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveValue4:40

The source identified Chuba Hubbard as 'more or less the best running back play of the slate,' viewing him as a strong DFS cash game play; the source was convinced by another the source to pivot from Matthew Stafford and Braylon Allen to Caleb Williams and Chuba Hubbard. Hubbard ultimately delivered on this thesis, receiving heavy volume against the Eagles defense, though the source notes the Eagles' poor performance made Hubbard's success somewhat inevitable given his high touch volume.

Insight page
PositiveValue10:40

Source identifies Chuba Hubbard as significantly better DFS play than Braylon Allen in the same spot; context suggests Bears running game was strong that week, making Hubbard a superior value play.

Insight page
PositiveValue28:00

Chuba Hubbard was included in multiple tournament lineups as part of the source's DFS strategy.

Insight page
NegativeValue36:12

Chuba Hubbard was passed over in favor of Braylon Allen in a DFS lineup due to a $600 salary difference, suggesting cost considerations outweighed his potential in that particular construction.

Insight page
NegativeUsage45:37

Hubbard received 28-30 carries in a game where the source had played other running backs near that workload; the source characterizes this as a significant miss in their DFS lineup construction, noting the high carry volume was unexpected and tilting.

Insight page

Cole Kmet

NegativeUsage46:02

Kmet came in at high ownership in the DFS slate, though the exact percentage is not specified in the transcript.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveValue28:08

Colston Loveland was projected to be 8% owned in tournaments, making him a contrarian value play for the source.

Insight page
PositiveValue30:44

Colston Loveland had a strong DFS performance and was highly owned in tournament lineups; the source notes that players willing to roster Loveland in week six tournaments are also likely to play Burden, creating high combinatorial ownership between the two.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeUsage9:00

DeAndre Swift receives short-yardage and goal-line carries in the Bears' run-heavy offense under Ben Johnson, including two-yard touchdown runs. This usage pattern limits passing volume for Caleb Williams.

Insight page
NegativeUsage12:32

Source questions whether DeAndre Swift was underestimated in DFS due to focus on Bears running game strength; Swift ended up sharing work with Roshan; was $400 more expensive than alternatives, making him difficult to fit into optimal lineups.

Insight page
NegativeProjection27:40

DeAndre Swift's expected production is as high as anybody's when healthy, but he is not projected well enough to be played in cash games outside of last week; the source prefers not to play him in tournaments.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveMatchup5:19

Identified as a key weapon for Tanner McKee in a slate where McKee was considered a viable contrarian quarterback play.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeUsage45:58

Jones came in at 3% ownership in the DFS slate, indicating very low exposure relative to the field.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeValue34:49

Devante Adams was included in a DFS lineup that the source considered one of the better constructions, though no specific role or projection commentary was provided.

Insight page

Davis Allen

NegativeRole3:58

Used as a fullback on a fourth-and-one play by Sean McVay, which the source characterizes as an absurd and unexpected decision, highlighting poor offensive game management.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeValue3:35

The source played Deshaun Watson at quarterback in their DFS lineup, but this was a regrettable decision made due to failed last-minute swaps; the source acknowledges this was a poor play choice on the slate.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveMatchup5:19

Identified as a key weapon for Tanner McKee in a slate where McKee was considered a viable contrarian quarterback play.

Insight page
PositiveProjection47:58

Smith was part of a winning DFS lineup in the main BR tournament, constructed by Josh Dombrowski. The lineup also included Tyler Shuck, Ken Walker, James Cook, Malik Neighbors, and Isaiah Likely. Smith was noted as one of the scroll plays (lower-owned contrarian picks) that helped differentiate the winning lineup despite a mostly chalky field.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection0:28

Projected above 20 points on a slate where only five premium players reached that threshold; was the only non-8K player among the five, but the source argues he was likely over-projected for the slate.

Insight page
NegativeProjection10:30

Drake London was included in the source's cash game and tournament lineup for this slate, alongside Matthew Stafford, Kyron Williams, Braylon Allen, Puka Nakua, Jeremy Bernard, Isaiah Likely, Xavier Worthy, and the Carolina Panthers defense.

Insight page
NegativeBust10:40

Source expresses strong regret about Drake London selection in DFS lineup, calling it a mistake and stating 'enough already for me personally with Drake London'; played at $500 premium over Malik Neighbors despite inferior production outlook; source acknowledges this was a 'sticking point' that led to suboptimal lineup construction.

Insight page
NegativeValue32:45

Drake London was included in a DFS tournament lineup that had a pre-lock ROI of 5% positive but underperformed post-lock.

Insight page
NegativeValue33:35

The source had concerns about Drake London's ownership levels in DFS tournaments, suggesting he was overowned relative to his performance or role expectations.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveValue3:35

The source identified Isaiah Likely as a favorable tight end pairing in a DFS lineup constructed around Tanner McKee at quarterback, suggesting Likely was viewed as a strong value play on the slate.

Insight page
PositiveProjection5:47

The speaker attempted a last-minute swap to pair Tanner McKee at QB with Isaiah Likely at tight end, indicating Likely was viewed as a strong complementary play.

Insight page
NegativeProjection10:30

Isaiah Likely was included in the source's cash game and tournament lineup for this slate, alongside Matthew Stafford, Kyron Williams, Braylon Allen, Puka Nakua, Drake London, Jeremy Bernard, Xavier Worthy, and the Carolina Panthers defense.

Insight page
NegativeRole10:47

Isaiah Likely was included in source's DFS cash game lineup; no specific performance or role commentary provided in this segment.

Insight page
PositiveProjection47:58

Likely was part of a winning DFS lineup in the main BR tournament, constructed by Josh Dombrowski. The lineup also included Tyler Shuck, Ken Walker, James Cook, Malik Neighbors, and Devonta Smith.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

NegativeMatchup8:12

Jacoby Brissett was the opposing quarterback against Matthew Stafford in this game. The source viewed this matchup as a setup for a massive Puka Nakua play, suggesting Brissett's Colts were vulnerable.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeValue4:10

The source considered Jameis Winston as a potential DFS quarterback option but did not play him, suggesting Winston was in the conversation for the slate but was ultimately passed over.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection47:58

Cook was part of a winning DFS lineup in the main BR tournament, constructed by Josh Dombrowski. The lineup also included Tyler Shuck, Ken Walker, Malik Neighbors, Devonta Smith, and Isaiah Likely.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeProjection0:28

Projected above 20 points on a slate where only five premium players reached that threshold; was an 8K player in DFS pricing.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeValue4:25

The source mentioned Josh Allen as a potential DFS quarterback option that could have been played on the slate, though no specific reasoning was provided for why Allen was considered.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeValue13:00

Josh Downs mentioned as projection-based alternative in DFS salary cap discussions; part of lineup construction trade-off analysis when considering Drake London alternatives.

Insight page
PositiveValue28:00

Josh Downs was included in multiple tournament lineups as part of the source's DFS strategy.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeValue13:00

Keenan Allen was the alternative to Drake London if not playing London; priced at $5,200; source discusses Allen as part of salary cap trade-off analysis in DFS lineup construction.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeProjection0:28

Projected above 20 points on a slate where only five premium players reached that threshold; was an 8K player in DFS pricing.

Insight page
PositiveValue25:00

The source preferred Kenneth Walker over B.J. Robinson in a high-priced running back spot, believing both could outscore flex alternatives (like Jamook, Xavier Worthy, or Dallas Goddard) by 25+ points; however, the source ultimately played Robinson because projection models favored Robinson by 2.5 points, a decision the source now regrets.

Insight page

Kenyan Drake

NegativeRole46:05

Drake is mentioned in context of the backfield situation where Travon Henry returned from a high ankle sprain, suggesting Drake may have had a role in the backfield when Henry was out.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

NegativeValue4:25

The source mentioned Kirk Cousins as a potential DFS quarterback option that could have been played on the slate, though no specific reasoning was provided for why Cousins was considered.

Insight page
NegativeProjection8:24

Kirk Cousins was considered as a quarterback option for this slate, mentioned alongside Caleb Williams, Tanner McKee, and Matthew Stafford as alternatives the source evaluated.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveProjection7:12

The source notes that Kyron Williams' recent target volume has inflated perception of his ceiling; he is unlikely to consistently put up high fantasy scores like 37 points. The source explicitly avoided playing him in tournaments despite the target volume, indicating skepticism about his true upside relative to recent performance.

Insight page
NegativeRole7:15

Kyron Williams shares backfield work with Chuba Hubbard but is trusted most in passing situations due to his hands and pass protection ability. He will out-snap Blake Corum in those specific roles.

Insight page
NegativeBust13:36

Source played Kyron Williams in DFS cash game lineup; Williams had a terrible game; however, source notes he was 63% owned in the $50 double-up (the biggest double-up for serious players on DraftKings), indicating he was a consensus chalk play.

Insight page
NegativeValue34:49

Kyren Williams was included in a DFS lineup that the source considered one of the better constructions, though no specific role or projection commentary was provided.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue28:00

Luther Burden III was included in multiple tournament lineups as part of the source's DFS strategy, including a lineup with positive field-aware ROI.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveProjection3:20

The source identified Stafford as the best quarterback play on the slate, despite the Rams' eventual loss to Arizona.

Insight page
PositiveValue4:40

The source initially planned to play Matthew Stafford at quarterback, viewing him as a strong DFS play due to the Rams' matchup against a weak defense and Stafford's receiving weapons; the source noted Stafford had Puka Nakua back and the Rams had a 33-point implied total, making Stafford seem like a 'can't fail' spot. However, the source was talked out of this play by another the source who advocated for Chuba Hubbard instead.

Insight page
NegativeProjection8:12

The source expresses strong frustration with Matthew Stafford's performance, calling him 'terrible at football' and 'done.' Despite playing him in cash games and tournaments, the source was deeply tilted by Stafford's play against Jacoby Brissett and the Colts, describing it as one of the most painful games to watch.

Insight page
NegativeRole10:47

Matthew Stafford was the quarterback selected in source's DFS cash game lineup; source mentions considering Tanner McKee as alternative quarterback to access salary cap savings.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeProjection0:28

Projected above 20 points on a slate where only five premium players reached that threshold; was an 8K player in DFS pricing.

Insight page
PositiveRole5:10

The source cited Puka Nakua's return to the Rams lineup as a key reason to play Matthew Stafford at quarterback in DFS, viewing Nakua's availability as a major positive for Stafford's fantasy ceiling on the slate.

Insight page
PositiveProjection8:12

The source was setting up for a 'massive puka smash' in this game, indicating strong conviction on Puka Nakua as a play. This was part of the source's DFS lineup construction for the slate.

Insight page
PositiveValue29:00

Puka Nakua was included in a tournament lineup that had positive field-aware ROI of 17% and was considered a huge smash play.

Insight page
NegativeValue31:51

Puka Nakua was part of high-ownership combinations in DFS tournaments; lineups featuring both Puka and Bijan Robinson required similar salary-saving strategies and were likely paired with Titans defense, creating correlated ownership patterns.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeUsage32:56

After Travon Stevenson's activation, the source expected Ramondre to lose workload but he retained significant touches; Travon actually had more workload this week than any week yet this year, creating a disappointing outcome for DFS lineups that had banked on Ramondre's role consolidation.

Insight page
NegativeValue33:28

Ramondre Stevenson was heavily rostered in DFS lineups following Travion Henry injury news; the source expected ownership to drop but Stevenson remained well-owned and still nearly doubled up in many contests despite not receiving the expected ownership dip.

Insight page
NegativeRole45:58

The source had significant exposure to Stevenson when Travon Henry was expected to be out, viewing him as a great play in that scenario. However, when Henry returned just six days off a high ankle sprain, the source expected Henry would not get significant work, making Stevenson's role uncertain. Stevenson came in at 12% ownership and the source expresses regret about the play, noting the situation changed when Henry's status was clarified.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

PositiveValue3:35

The source attempted a last-minute swap to Tanner McKee at quarterback to pair with Isaiah Likely at tight end, viewing this as a superior DFS lineup construction; the swap failed due to timing constraints at 10 a.m., but the source's willingness to pivot to McKee indicates he was viewed as a favorable DFS play on the slate.

Insight page
PositiveProjection5:03

Identified as a potential quarterback play if trying to jam multiple high-price players; has two career starts averaging 255 passing yards per game and benefits from weapons like Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert.

Insight page
NegativeProjection8:24

Tanner McKee was considered as a quarterback option for this slate, mentioned alongside Caleb Williams, Kirk Cousins, and Matthew Stafford as alternatives the source evaluated.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveDepth Chart27:07

Terrence Ferguson will be back next week, which will further degrade Kyron Johnson's receiving projections.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeValue34:49

Travis Kelce was used in the flex position in a DFS lineup that the source considered one of the better constructions of the week.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeProjection10:30

Xavier Worthy was included in the source's cash game and tournament lineup for this slate, alongside Matthew Stafford, Kyron Williams, Braylon Allen, Puka Nakua, Drake London, Jeremy Bernard, Isaiah Likely, and the Carolina Panthers defense.

Insight page
NegativeRole10:47

Xavier Worthy was included in source's DFS cash game lineup; no specific performance or role commentary provided in this segment.

Insight page
NegativeValue25:00

Xavier Worthy was mentioned as a flex alternative that the source considered playing instead of higher-priced running backs like B.J. Robinson and Kenneth Walker, who the source believed could outscore flex positions by 25+ points.

Insight page
PositiveValue29:00

Xavier Worthy was included in a tournament lineup that had positive field-aware ROI of 17% and was considered a huge smash play.

Insight page
PositiveValue30:49

Xavier Worthy was highly owned in DFS tournaments; the source notes insane combinatorial ownership of Jeremy and Worthy, suggesting both were chalk plays in tournament lineups.

0:00When I show you guys lineup, you know, when we talk about the history of the long, luxury-ish, the time for choice
0:07are so bad that you really struggle to figure what was going on there.
0:12We will get to that. So actually, kind of day because there was sort of only one premium player kind of of the whole slate.
0:20You know, if you if you look at Flex projections, I can't remember how many slates we've had Flex projections where the
0:28only players projected above 20 points were B. John Robinson, Puka Nakua, Kenneth Walker, Jonathan Taylor, Drake London.
0:34They were all 8K players except for Drake London.
0:37I think you can certainly argue, I probably would argue Drake London was a little bit over projected.
0:43So that kind of meant that the slate then came down to the cheapies and there were again weirdly actually saying a
0:50lot of cheap guys who projected all right, you know, it was not it was not a slate where it was like,
0:57oh, well, you got to play this guy, which I which was reflected in the ownerships, you know, instead of there were
1:05there were a lot of dupe teams, but there were also a bunch of guys who were 40% owned instead of 60%
1:12on this is actually something we've been talking about a lot on the show.
1:17I dude, by the way, you were you were you were not on the show last week.
1:22Um, Jameer Gibbs only only 66% owned in double ups last week was that oh my god, was that one of the most insane things of all time?
1:32Yeah, you know, it sucks because I smashed last week and I wasn't on the show.
1:37But I heard you guys got to dunk on Levitan a bunch.
1:41So that's pretty great. Yes. Yeah, it was pretty great.
1:45And we all duped each other last week. Nate and I duped each other this week, which is really I haven't even looked.
1:52Yeah, we played we played the exact same team.
1:55So this week at quarterback, there actually were multiple guys who you could play.
2:00I thought the best play was Matthew Stafford jokes on me the Rams by the way, 33 and a half point team
2:07total lose to the freaking Arizona Cardinals in the dome completely insane.
2:11I'm so glad that they lost dude because they played like such hot asshole.
2:16And then they like scored a touchdown at the end.
2:19It's like, oh, they're they're gonna get away with it.
2:23And they didn't get away with it. You know, to go we present had a little magic there at the end and
2:30they you know, had a penalty and it's just like they deserve to lose.
2:35I'm glad they lost. I am also glad they lost.
2:38I'm also glad they lost Sean McVay had a complete shocker, just like going for it on fourth and one but handing
2:45it off to Davis Allen as a fullback was one of the most absurd decisions I've ever seen.
2:51Never see it coming. Yeah, completely, completely insane. So I thought you definitely could have played.
2:57I mean, in my mind, these were the quarterback plays Matthew Stafford, Caleb Williams.
3:01And then I also thought that if you wanted to try and jam multiple high price guys, I, I did not personally end up setting this lineup.
3:10I thought you could have done Tanner McKee. He's got, you know, two career starts for 255 career passing yards per game in the two starts.
3:19He's got Devonta Smith. Goddard was was a big was a big play.
3:23Sammy, you didn't play any of those guys at the quarterback position.
3:27You you you you didn't play you didn't play Matthew Stafford.
3:31You didn't play Caleb Williams. And you also did not play Tanner McKee.
3:35Do you want to do you want to tell the people what you did indeed do a quarterback?
3:41Well, to be fair to myself before I give the big reveal because this is egregious.
3:47I tried to get to Tanner McKee. I tried last minute swapping.
3:51Go to McKee and then get up at tight end to Isaiah likely, which would have been great.
3:57And it didn't work because it was right at 10 a.m.
4:00And my four year old was hanging on me and like, you know, no excuses play like a champion is Levitan would say.
4:08But I tried to go to Tanner McKee. I played Deshaun, the the sexual abuser.
4:13So, so good guy played guy played. Guy played Deshaun Watson at quarterback.
4:17Didn't play Jameis Winston marker marker Tassel guessing Jameis Winston didn't play.
4:21I mean, I thought maybe you could have tried to get real fancy and play Josh Allen, Kirk Cousins.
4:28I just I don't I don't know. I don't know how it got there.
4:32It truly is one of the most phenomenal things.
4:35So I toyed with a lineup that was instead of Matthew Stafford that had Caleb Williams to try and use the extra
4:43money to get from Braylon Allen to Chuba Hubbard.
4:46I thought that Chuba Hubbard was like more or less the best running back play of the slate.
4:52Like I kind of wanted to play backwards in cash from Chuba Hubbard and spoiler alert did not end up doing it.
4:59You guys will see my lineup here in in a second Chuba.
5:03I mean, it took a long time from that game, but it kind of played out how I thought it was going
5:11to play out, which is the Eagles absolutely suck.
5:14They're not going to be able to do anything.
5:17And even if the Eagles defense is good, Hubbard is going to get the ball a bazillion, a bazillion times.
5:23He did indeed get the ball a bazillion times, but I couldn't really really what I couldn't stomach Sammy was not playing Matt Stafford.
5:31I was like, dude, they have a 33 point.
5:34How could they fail? How he's got Puka back, dude.
5:38How could he fail? How could he fail? I wanted to play Stafford too.
5:42I had him and I'll be honest with you.
5:45You got in my head this morning. You got in my head with this.
5:50You must play Chuba Hubbard. He's the best playlist slate because I had Braylon Allen and Stafford.
5:56And I'm like, shit, dude, I'm going to do it.
5:59He's right. Chuba is so good. And he was very good.
6:03He was very good. I was right. Ultimately, I was correct.
6:06The thing that I was not correct about, and I guess, I mean, we're five weeks into the season now and the
6:14Rams have played in all these games. Like, it's got to start leaking into fantasy projections and leaking into the way lines
6:21makers are setting these lines that the Rams are just not that good.
6:25The Rams suck, dude. The Rams are just straight up not that good.
6:30Oh, God. I mean, I'll just say this. And when we get to the tournament lineups, like, it'll be pretty clear.
6:37But I was just like, this is a can't fail spot for the Rams.
6:41A can't fail. They are playing in a great environment against a really crappy defense.
6:46They have been inconsistent this year and they are going to put it down.
6:51This is where they say, okay, it all stops here.
6:54We are going to get after it. I played Kyron in cash.
6:58I played Kyron everywhere. I was like, Kyron's going to...
7:02Kyron is the guy that I wasn't moving off of.
7:05See, and Kyron is... He's kind of the funny one of like, we have experienced this thing with Kyron for so long.
7:12And we, the last two weeks, have made him something that he isn't because the target volume has been so good.
7:19Like, I didn't play Kyron in any tournaments because I know exactly what Kyron is.
7:24Kyron is so, so unlikely to put up like a 37 ball.
7:28You know, I basically, to me, Chuba and Kyron should sort of be projected because Chuba gets the ball so much.
7:35Really, really close. Yeah. I mean, Kyron shares the work, but obviously they trust him the most in passing situations.
7:42First year. Because he's got pretty good hands and he's a really good pass protector.
7:47So he's going to mog Corum in all those spots.
7:50And then, of course, Corum catches the touchdown reception right off the bat.
7:55And it's just like, uh-oh, I may have made a mistake.
7:58Dude, Corum having, Corum having a, Nate, Corum having a receiving touchdown.
8:02How many in your 10,000 Sims of this slate, in your Sim of this slate, how many of them does Blake Corum have a 19-yard touchdown reception?
8:11Because I checked my Sims and it was in zero of 10,000 for Blake Corum to score a receiving touchdown.
8:18Yeah, not the ones I use to build my cash games and tournament lineups.
8:23Wilson, that's for sure. I mean, that Corum thing, that whole game.
8:27I don't think I've ever been more tilted watching a game in my entire life.
8:32By the way, Matthew Stafford is terrible at football.
8:35For the record. Matthew Stafford is done. I mean, this is a spot where literally Jacoby Brissett is on the other side.
8:42And I'm like, this is it. This is everything that would happen in the game.
8:47I'm like, we're just setting up for a massive puka smash.
8:51This is it. This is going to be the drive.
8:54This is going to be the drive. And somewhere along the way, I was like, this is the definition of insanity right here.
9:02Like what I'm doing to myself for these last three hours.
9:06I mean, that was painful. It was extremely painful.
9:09So ultimately, Nate, you and I both played Matt Stafford at quarterback.
9:13Nate, did you consider Tanner McKee? Did you consider Caleb Williams?
9:16Did you consider Kirk Cousins? Did you like I frankly, I actually and you'll see this when we get to my tournament lineups.
9:24Like I liked Caleb straight up more than Stafford.
9:27To me, it was kind of like a blocking play, I suppose.
9:31In a sense, like Caleb is so Caleb is so fucking good, man.
9:35He's so good. It's great. And his stats are being artificially deflated by Ben Johnson's proclivity to call run plays.
9:42Like to just get DeAndre Swift two yard touchdowns or whatever.
9:46It's not just Ben Johnson proclivity. They're literally the best running offense in the game.
9:51Every time they run the ball, it's one of the most effective play.
9:55So it tilts me, but it's also real. And you have to factor that in.
10:00And in this game with Atlanta's like also run heavy, like I don't think Caleb was in play and catch over McKee or Stafford or.
10:08He definitely. Okay. He definitely was in play. You're that's crazy.
10:12He was in play. No, I don't think he was.
10:15You don't know. He's going to run. You don't know how healthy the hamstring is.
10:20He himself said he was not a hundred percent.
10:23You already have overall like play volume concerns. And Ben Johnson has shown how much he's willing to run the ball.
10:30Like I don't think in cash games, that's where you take Caleb.
10:34Like there was other plays that we. Yeah. I don't think Caleb was a good cash game play.
10:40I just don't. All right. Well, let's let's let's talk about the lineup that you and I did play.
10:47So Nate and I duped each other. We played Matthew Stafford, Kyron Williams, Braylon Allen, Pukunakua, Drake London, Jeremy Bernard, Isaiah Likely,
10:54Xavier Worthy in the Carolina Panthers defense. You want to know the play that I feel the worst about in here?
11:01It's definitely not the play. Nate's going to be like, no, dude, he's going to play with my brother.
11:07There's on there. Drake London for five hundred dollars more than Malik neighbors, bro.
11:12I think sometime you just got to take yourself out back or you got to look yourself in the mirror and you
11:19got to say, are you a man or are you a boy?
11:23And if you're a boy, you're going to look at the projections.
11:27You're going to look at the projections. I think a real man would have said, you know what?
11:34Malik neighbors was a first round draft pick in fantasy football.
11:37He is historically great for any any time he's ever played.
11:41His numbers are preposterous. He has Jameis Winston as quarterback, which is actually so goddamn funny that J.J.
11:47McCarthy came in and threw for like 250 yards in a quarter.
11:51Like so funny that J.J. McCarthy came in. And it's not even necessarily about neighbors.
11:56It's just like. Drake London, man, it's like enough already for me personally with Drake London.
12:01I just I what I guess ultimately what I feel bad about is I should not have made Drake London such a
12:09sticking point that I played Braylon in a spot where this was his floor.
12:13I'm not and I'm not saying Braylon is some terrible play.
12:17I think it was fine. It's just Hubbard was so, so much better of a play.
12:22So much better. Well, and we're talking and hold on.
12:26We're talking a lot about how the Bears just like run so well.
12:30And it was a great spot for them. Did we underestimate DeAndre Swift?
12:34Because of that. Now, he ended up sharing a lot of work with Roshan.
12:39He was so hard to get to because he was he was 400 more expensive.
12:44So that like I guess maybe if you would have done a Tanner McKee lineup, you could have done it.
12:51But like if you look at the basis of and Nate Nye's lineup is like stone, stone chalk.
12:57Like this was the this was the big train.
13:00If you start thinking, OK, how do you get a thousand extra dollars?
13:04You're going down from London to like probably if you are a projection guy, it was probably Drake London.
13:10Or sorry, Josh Downs would have projected. It was Keenan Allen.
13:14It was Keenan Allen. It was Keenan. Keenan was if you were not going to play London, you'd play.
13:20But then but then where are you? What are you even doing with that money?
13:25Are you I guess are you getting to Josh at quarterback?
13:29Because Keenan was what? Fifty two hundred. Yeah, the other player getting up there running back one is what you're doing.
13:36Well, except Kyron. Like I'm not actually like I'm tilted that Kyron had a terrible, terrible game.
13:42Um, but like he was anyone good in cash games played played Kyron Williams.
13:46He was he was in the big fifty dollar double up, which is now the biggest double up that like only serious players play on draft games.
13:55He was sixty three percent. Nate, when the cards turned over and Jeremy was fifty four percent, I was like there is actually still an edge.
14:04People people are actually still bad. Like it's just as we were taught, we were we were talking about, um, did you
14:11mere give stuff last week with him being sixty six percent?
14:15I'm like, dude, Jeremy is like the definition of if you did not play him, you have no fucking mojo, dude.
14:22You are. I'll say it right here, dude. Sammy, you got it.
14:26You got to take a look in the mirror.
14:29And this is your team. Sammy, you have your team.
14:32You have two spots that you need to seriously consider.
14:36Like what? What? What am I thinking? Isaiah likely is good.
14:39Isaiah likely legitimately was like one of the easiest plays of the year at tight end.
14:45I think Jeremy Bernard obviously is right up there.
14:48But tight end specifically. I mean, literally, Isaiah likely.
14:51I mean, he had only had nine yards. I mean, he was a yard away from the bonus.
14:57He was like he had multiple plays that should have been could have been worse.
15:02Like if you're lucky he didn't put up a 30 burger on you.
15:06He was a 70% on tight end in cash.
15:09What were you thinking? I tried. I tried to go McKee and likely instead of Goddard.
15:15Instead of Goddard and fucking Deshaun Watson. And, you know, just life happens.
15:19Well, he did the same thing I did. So I'll actually come clean.
15:23I mean, this was the right fucking choice was I had a swap right at lock right at noon that I tried
15:31to save that did not save, which was Chuba and Goddard over Braylon and Worthy, which would have been the higher points
15:38because Chuba beat Braylon by a lot and Worthy and Goddard.
15:42I think Worthy and Goddard literally both got 14.
15:45Yeah. Literally, Nate, I pressed the button at 959 PST and looked and it said cannot be saved.
15:51And I look at the clock and it's 10.
15:54Like that's how close it was to the swap.
15:57Well, Davis, I try to play likely. I try to do it.
16:01That's fair. Davis, if you would have swapped literally Braylon Allen and Xavier Worthy to like legitimately talented people who now have workload opportunities.
16:09Oh, yeah. Xavier Worthy, legitimately talented. Sure would be fucking nice if it would have showed it at some point in my
16:16life at any of the most recent three years.
16:19Would have been would have been OK. He doesn't have scam rice out there stealing all these targets.
16:25And Xavier Worthy was going to be fed the ball.
16:28He's one of the fastest wide receivers that yeah, but this is actually a bad take because Xavier Worthy sucks.
16:35Yeah, he is not. He is. I will say I will say this.
16:39He was playing Dallas Goddard over Xavier Worthy is giving up like 15 points of ceiling for like $300.
16:46That's crazy. That's crazy. Dallas Goddard with 20 games.
16:49Dallas Goddard for sure bet my last dollar is is better than Xavier Worthy in any ceiling efficiency targets for any metric you want to run.
16:57Xavier Worthy with Patrick Mahomes as his quarterback with no Rishi Rice and legitimately average is seven point five fantasy points per
17:05game versus Dallas Goddard with Tanner McKee. You guys are like you guys.
17:09I didn't do that, Nate. I didn't do that.
17:12OK, I didn't do that. I played Xavier Worth and Dallas Goddard and Dallas Goddard.
17:17Well, you know what? To be to be fair, to be fair.
17:21Another thing that a lot of people did. Let me see if I can find it in the big $50 double up.
17:28Another thing people did was instead of playing either of those guys, one of these lineups in here, one of these train lineups has Casey Concepcion in it.
17:38And, you know, I got no no beef. I think I think Casey Concepcion is a is a fine player or whatever.
17:45But there was just really no scenario where I was playing Casey Concepcion over Worthy.
17:50Worthy like I thought Worthy was. Really, I mean, obviously, I thought he was very strong.
17:55I thought he was like lock adjacent. I actually even played Worthy in tournaments that like really elevated ownership.
18:02I can't find Concepcion. One of these one of these lineups had Concepcion.
18:06You know, another guy that I did actually consider in cash games was Burden in the in the London spot.
18:13I considered I considered Burden and which, again, people like the the Concepcion team is it was.
18:19It was Chuba, Goddard, London, likely Concepcion, Kyron, Stafford, Panthers and Puka.
18:23So it was basically. I don't like that. Yeah, I mean, I think Concepcion versus Worthy is just giving up way too much.
18:30Concepcion versus Worthy, I think, is quite bad. Yeah, it's just like even if Concepcion is better than Worthy, which like whatever,
18:38I'm actually happy to grant that the the offensive environments could not be any different.
18:43And the Chargers are so bad, dude. So bad.
18:46Well, it's the decision that I had to make was Concepcion versus Jeremy Bernard.
18:50I chose unwisely. Yeah. Yeah. I put this. I mean, we can go.
18:55We're going to we need to we need to get in.
18:58Sammy, we got to get in the lab with you, dude.
19:02I'm looking at a Deshaun Watson, Casey Concepcion sack.
19:05And I'm just saying we got to get you back to square one, man.
19:10We got to. I mean, I'm not. I can't even argue with it.
19:14This is this is the worst. I haven't played good at all this year.
19:19Like, and you haven't, you haven't. And I I'm prepared to say.
19:23Outside of a lineup that I would have swapped to.
19:26This has got to be the worst lineup that's ever been played compared to like what was optimal.
19:32It's got it's got to be. I mean, there's there's there's been some times I think there was a slate that Nate
19:39paid like forty two hundred dollars for defense. And they scored one point that I think might be might be close, but it's pretty.
19:47It's pretty. It's pretty not ideal. God, I love that.
19:51We need to hire somebody or get Claude or chat.
19:54GBT to like get old clips like ETR does.
19:57And just I mean, the mashup that we could put together is.
20:01You know what? I actually could. I actually could.
20:04I actually could do that. You can start your own YouTube channel.
20:08People would watch this and just like fucking love it, man.
20:12Yeah, I mean, so obviously the train lineup easily cashes.
20:15It was kind of frustrating in the sense that Braylon.
20:18I mean, Braylon looked phenomenal, but the Jets suck.
20:21And I mean, you know, that's the deal. You knew they were going to lose.
20:26The Drake London thing is just like I am just so not a Drake London guy.
20:32I just I don't have very much of him in seasonal.
20:35I don't think he's really that good. I mean, obviously, he's very good, but he just is so slow.
20:42So I could really I think it's something people don't talk about enough, but it's really hard to be.
20:48An elite, elite, elite fantasy option when you're slow, like Devontae Adams can do it because he scores a billion touchdowns.
20:55But like I actually think Bucky Irving is a pretty good example of this.
21:00Like if Bucky was a four, four guy instead of like a four, six and a half or seven guy, Bucky would
21:07be like the best running back in the NFL.
21:10He would be Gibbs Bijon like level of skill.
21:13He really would. Sammy, you also played. I mean, I I mean, I I didn't really think Bijon was that good of
21:21a play because not not because of anything really about him, but the the Falcons play slow and the Bears also are
21:28happy to like suffocate the air out of games and that can go south quickly for.
21:33It's why we said Caleb wasn't a it's why we said Caleb wasn't a cash quarterback to then on the flip side, take Bijon.
21:41Yeah. Okay, let's let's let's do this. Let's rank the mistakes that I made and not not playing not playing like likely likely likely likely.
21:50Okay. Okay. Hang on. Hang on. I actually don't want to take the L on that one simply because I really did try to go McKee.
21:58You know what? That's fair. That's likely. I really did.
22:02Dude, people don't want to hear this or maybe they do because they can relate.
22:07But my fucking four year old is like hanging on my shoulders as I'm like because my wife's gone.
22:13She's running like one of these like Spartan races.
22:16And so I have the kids. I got two little kids do ones hanging on my shoulders and I'm trying to be
22:23a good dad, but also I'm trying to like make this swap and I do it and it just didn't click in time.
22:31I knew likely was the play and I and I and I knew that that was like the way to go.
22:38So I try to do it. Let's talk about the ones that like I just, you know, wasn't directionally correct on.
22:45Number one mistake. Uh, and I want you guys to rank these is playing Concepcion over Bernard straight up.
22:51The second one. It's like inexcusable. It. Yeah, not, not great.
22:55The second one is you are a Steelers. You are a Steelers fan, dude.
23:00It actually, it actually costs me because I hate the Steelers so much and I hate Aaron Rogers so much.
23:06I'm pissed off at the organization because they haven't done a full rebuild and they're just like playing boomer ball.
23:13Like, oh, we have this opportunity. We get rid of Mike Tomlin.
23:17Okay. Let's do what the Ravens did and like bring in new blood and like change everything up.
23:23No, we're going to hire Mike McCarthy and bring Aaron Rogers back and play fucking boomer ball and finish seven and eight or eight and seven.
23:32And just like mid it up for again for the next five years.
23:36Like it's so stupid. I'm pissed off at the team.
23:39The Jeremy Bernard thing. I don't think I'm going to hit on you that much because I do think the Jeremy Bernard
23:47thing, like there was a lot of efficiency that went his way.
23:51The amount of like, I mean, he had like 21 air yards and he put up like 28 drafting points.
23:57I mean, it's like, that is, yeah, but that feeds right into what I was going to say that that's, that's exactly
24:05what I knew I was signing up for. Yeah.
24:08That's what Aaron Rogers wants. He just wants to like spam these like little two, three yard hitches and screens and flat routes.
24:15He just wants to audible to stick nod and, and, and slant flat all day.
24:20Like he's, he's such a boomer. So he ended up with 11 targets or something like that.
24:26Like that, that's what we signed up for. Yeah.
24:29It was 11 targets. It was only a 22% targets per route run.
24:33His whopper was like below 0.5. Like, I mean, it was essentially conceptual and usage because of like where he gets targeted and stuff like that.
24:42So I don't think it was that bad. Okay.
24:45Here's, here's the other one. Here's the other one is I played B.
24:50John Robinson. I thought that, you know, I know it wasn't the chalky build, but I said, you know what?
24:56I think some of these high price running backs, particularly B.
25:00John and Kenneth Walker can really destroy the slate in a spot where other people are playing a jamook in the flex,
25:07you know, in Xavier worthy or Dallas Goddard or something like that.
25:11And these guys can outscore that position by like 25 points easy.
25:15And so I kind of liked Ken Walker a little bit better, but the projections I was looking at had B.
25:22John two and a half points higher. And I said, you know what?
25:27I'm not going to go against that. I'm going to stick.
25:30If I play Ken Walker instead of B. John mega smash.
25:34So those were two of the like one V ones that I thought really cost me.
25:39Um, and then, and then the B. John thing is crazy.
25:43The B. John usage legitimately is, is like potentially record setting for like finishing a game healthy.
25:49And at that salary, having that little expected draft Kings production from a running back is like, I mean, I don't think I've ever seen it this bad.
25:58And he never does this. Like he had seven expected draft Kings points and he was healthy the whole game.
26:05He never disappears. I mean, if they're up, he's running.
26:08If they're down, he's catching the ball. I mean, it's just like he, he is their offensive weapon.
26:14And so, you know, obviously it was run bad here, but it's actually wild too, because they even got the flurry of
26:21a bunch of points in the fourth quarter and B.
26:25John and London both did nothing in a game.
26:28At least London got a two pointer, but yeah, they almost forced overtime, you know, and, and John Dotson and Kyle pits are out here.
26:36Um, balling. Yeah. Kyle pits season. So those are, those, those were the two mistakes where I was just like, ah, you
26:43know, again, I'll take the L on the likely one.
26:47Um, but I tried, I really did. Um, yeah.
26:50Yeah. When my kids are going to junior college, cause I can't afford a UC school.
26:55I'll tell them it's cause you wouldn't leave daddy alone at lineup block.
26:59Yeah. Your fault. Your fault. You know, take accountability.
27:02Yeah. Yeah. Uh, I mean, I don't think there's really that much else interesting about cash.
27:08Like you kind of had to play Kyron. This is probably the last time Kyron ever gets played in cash.
27:14Like ever, like ever again, truly like it. Cause now, now that we're building in like Blake Corum, um, playing on some
27:22of like the two minute drill and stuff, like his receiving projections going to degrade.
27:27And, and Terrence Ferguson will be back next week.
27:30So he's receiving projections going to degrade even more.
27:33So shout out to him. Um, all right, let's go to tournament.
27:37Do you want to talk about DeAndre Swift stuff at all?
27:40Like, do you think DeAndre Swift is now in that like Kyron range?
27:45Cause I mean, it is now like, I mean, every time he's healthy, his expected production is as high as anybody's.
27:52Um, I do think he's fine. The issue that I found with Swift is he doesn't, he is not projected well enough
27:59to be in cash outside of last week. He did actually.
28:03And I never want to play him in tournaments because I prefer like this week.
28:08I was like, well, Loveland's going to be 8% owned.
28:11I'm, I'm not even actually Nate. I did a Nate.
28:15I did a Nate team somewhere in here. There you go.
28:18I played, uh, in the, this was actually, uh, going into the, going into the late games, uh, or going into the fourth quarter of the Rams game.
28:28This team was in fifth place of the $12 Caleb Williams, Ken Walker, Chuba Hubbard, Josh Downs, Luther Burden, Jeremy, Loveland, Swift, and the Browns D.
28:36It was the, it was the full, uh, it was the full Nate onslaught.
28:41But I, yeah, I had a, I, I have a team I want to talk about because, um, well, first off I,
28:48it should have been a huge shipper. Um, and it wasn't, and it actually seemed quite bad.
28:54Um, post lock, but field, field, uh, aware ROI.
28:57So when it knows the, the actual ownerships and the, the combo ownerships, uh, independent field ROI minus 24%.
29:03This was positive ROI pre slate field aware ROI, 17%.
29:07Um, sim ROI overall, like expect to lose $10 on average.
29:10It was a huge smash, uh, in the big spy, Caleb Williams, Bijan Robinson, Chuba Hubbard, Puka Nakua, Luther Burden, the third,
29:18Jeremy Loveland, Xavier Worthy, and the Titans defense. So on this team, if I just straight up play Walker over Bijan, which
29:25clearly, I mean, I, I would have just happily have done.
29:29Um, the only reason I play Bijan on this team is because, uh, the, the correlation, like if the, the bears are
29:36going to get pushed, if Caleb is going to have a really good game, it's the other team.
29:42Eventually the bears are going to get pushed in a game.
29:46And Caleb is going to have like 500 passing yards and five touchdowns in a game.
29:51I don't know. I don't know when it's happening.
29:54Um, but all of those points that Roshan Johnson is just like the fourth quarter Roshan Johnson points.
30:00I'm like, well, you give me 25% of that to my guys.
30:04Can I have, can I have 25% of Roshan Johnson's bullshit?
30:08Uh, but if I play Walker over Bijan on this team, I finished like fifth in the spy, uh, straight up winner
30:15of the spy, by the way, Kurt Cousins team with Trey Tucker in the flex.
30:20No likely, which I think is interesting. Uh, bad, bad.
30:23The only thing I feel bad about, I mean, I played really good today.
30:28All my teams cat, like it was a really, really good day for me, but something I did not do was I did not play any Malik neighbors.
30:37Um, cause I was too focused on the likely stuff, but I, I was always going to have a good day.
30:44Cause Walker smashed Loveland had a good game. Burden had a good game.
30:49Jeremy had a good game where they had a good game.
30:52So it was, it was just, uh, it was just one of those, but I, I did also think it was, it
31:00was kind of interesting that, um, my team did not sim that well post lock.
31:05Cause it, it seemed okay. Pre lock. Um, I guess combo ownership probably of Jeremy and worthy was insane.
31:11And also probably combo ownership of Bijan and Puka was much higher than you would have thought because the textures of those
31:19lineups are going to require the same sort of salary saving players.
31:23Right. So a lot of Bijan and Puka lineups are also going to have like, well, frankly, probably Titans D I wonder
31:30if you, I wonder if I filtered by Titans defense, how many of them also have Puka and Bijan?
31:36Like probably all of them, right? Like that Titans D is so good, bro.
31:41Oh my God. Like 21 from a 3% basically min price defense.
31:45And I think what you had to do to get Puka and Bijan was Bernard Burden were like, you have all of
31:52the, on the flip side, your chalk, your chalk, uh, value plays are all high too.
31:58Correct. Yes. Yeah. Literally, literally all of them are all like, which is like, not to say like, you can't do that.
32:05Like it's fine to play multiple high owned guys, but like also, you know, another one that's kind of funny is I
32:12bet the, um, I bet the combinatorial ownership of Burden and Loveland was also quite high because the type of person who
32:20is still willing to play Colson Loveland. And then a $100 fantasy football tournament in week six is also for sure.
32:27Playing Burden is also the type of person who's like, yeah, dude, why wouldn't I play Burden?
32:32Burden's good. You know, but it's, it's just, it's one of those things that is really funny.
32:38Um, all right, let's see, uh, Nate and in the spy, Nate in the spy, uh, you played, uh, oh, this is
32:45going to be a classic Nate team. Caleb Williams, Ramondre, Braylon Allen, Pukenakua, Drake, London Burden likely.
32:51I knew I, I fricking knew it was going to be Loveland in the flex.
32:56I knew it. Uh, and then the Panthers defense, uh, field aware ROI quite low, uh, SIM ROI.
33:02So pre-lock ROI was 5% positive. Talk to me, talk to me about this Ramondre play, Nathaniel.
33:08Well, I had a lot of Ramondre, um, after the Travion news.
33:12I, I thought that everyone was going to get off Ramondre, uh, where I think you were, I think you were right about, right?
33:20He was not owned. Well, he actually still almost came in and double digits in a lot of places.
33:26Um, so he didn't get the ownership dip that I was hoping for.
33:30And he also did get the workload dip that I wasn't hoping for.
33:35So like, I thought the Travion thing was like, no chance he's going to get workload.
33:40And he did like a lot. So, uh, it was not one of those, like, we're just making him active to, to play him a couple snaps.
33:49It was like, I mean, Travion had more workload this week than any week yet this year.
33:55And so, yeah, that was tilting. So I felt bad about the Ramondre thing.
33:59Um, and then I felt bad about the Drake London ownership thing.
34:03And overall, I did not play well in tournaments today at all.
34:07And so. You know, you know what is, you know, it's funny about that, Nate.
34:12Cause I knew like, I had a bunch of good teams today and I was thinking in the back of my head,
34:20I was like, I bet Nate has a bunch of dog shit out there.
34:24I don't think, I don't think there's ever, I don't think there's ever been a week where we've overlapped on similarly good teams.
34:32Like your like weeks where you're like, Oh, I had this sweat and this sweat and this sweat.
34:38I'm like, I finished dead last in the spy, dude.
34:42I finished 4,444th in the spy, you know, in a, in a really good, in a really good, uh, Nate week.
34:49Um, Sammy, what, what tournament do you want me to look at?
34:53You're making a joke, but I think I might've finished last in the spy.
34:57I'm not quite sure. All right. Mr. Whirling. Dervish in the spy.
35:01Oh my God. Oh my God. All right. Matt Stafford, Kyron Williams, Braylon Allen, Drake London, Devante Adams, Luther Byrd and Tyler
35:09Higby, Travis Kelsey in the flex with the Ravens defense.
35:12Actually post lock. No, that's a good team. The Sims love your team.
35:16The Sims love your, the Sims. Fuck the Sims.
35:19This team is hot ass. Have your team is better than both of ours.
35:24No, dude, Sammy, this is a good team. Honestly, the Stafford thing, like.
35:28Like. Obviously, like it's easy to tilt Stafford. Like I'm, I'm as tilted as anybody, but like Vegas.
35:34This. I mean, you, if you genuinely think Stafford is dust, you should be betting everything you have against, against these Rams
35:42because the lines are not moving against them. Either the rest of the season win game.
35:47I mean, everybody still projects the Rams as the Rams.
35:50And so, I mean, look, we can say Stafford's dust and obviously he's not playing to his standards as well as he
35:58did last year, but his last like three games, he's thrown for 383, 317, 390 and 327.
36:03Like, yeah, he's not playing that well. You're watching the games.
36:07You're like, yeah, he's not doing, but like, dude, he's still putting up numbers.
36:12You know what I mean? Um, I don't know the, the Rams, the Rams are still favored by six points in Vegas next week.
36:20Might be time to put some, uh, some, some down.
36:23I actually think there are a couple interesting things going on in this lineup.
36:28The first is Braylon instead of Chuba. I don't approve whatever.
36:31That's fine. Well, it's also a $600 difference, man.
36:34Like I want to get Nate's. Well, the Browns were expensive or the Ravens defense where they were 3,200.
36:41Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But, but what it, what it did, what it did is we're going to drop down.
36:47This is honestly the best team I've seen from Sammy yet.
36:51I've seen, seriously, Sammy, this is honestly the best thing I've seen you put out this year.
36:56You know, you, the only reason you're saying that is because I have a tight end in the flex and I have
37:04like four Rams in the fucking lineup. So you're like, oh, this is, you know, this is amazing.
37:10Um, but one of the, one of the big inflection points, I really wanted Travis Kelsey and all the teams.
37:16I thought Kelsey with Rishi Rice out was like, and, and worthy and worthy chalk and worthy chalk.
37:22And I said, you know what? Like it's, it's so, it's so likely that they just say, yeah, fuck worthy.
37:29Cause he sucks. And they're just going to feed Travis Kelsey a whole lot.
37:34It didn't end up working out like that, but I'll stand by that thought process.
37:39I obviously wanted, uh, you know, a full Rams onslaught here.
37:42I did not bring it back with anything. Um, and then I had the Drake London and Luther burden, mini correlation, a
37:50little zone, uh, in the dome, uh, correlation. I'm kind of surprised you're a burden guy.
37:55I would like, when I think of, when I think of you, I would think you, I would think you'd be more of a, a Rome guy.
38:04Sammy's a Rome guy. Sammy's a Rome guy. I'm not a Rome guy.
38:09I'm, I'm, I'm a guy of the guy who the coach says, oh yeah.
38:13Like compares him to Amon Ross St. Brown. No, Sammy, you're a, you're a stacking Rome and Cole commit guy.
38:20That's you fading this Loveland thing saying, ah, like, yeah, I'm all right.
38:24I'm not going to stand for this slander from you guys.
38:28All right. I got, I got Merck today. It is what it is, but where I'm going to draw the line is
38:35you saying, I like Roma dunes, a this shit ass prospect who's got who like can't fucking run.
38:41I mean, he's dust. It's just like, if you were on a bad team, he'd be Marvin Harrison Jr.
38:48Or, you know, fucking, fucking Brian Thomas Jr. Like Roma dunes is a clown and Luther burden is twitchy and fast and real good.
38:56So I do think, I think there's another thing about this lineup that is something I've actually tried to stop doing in,
39:03in, when I build lineups, which is when the top wide receiver on a team is stone, stone chalk playing the second wide receiver for less money.
39:12So like the Jameson Williams, when St. Brown is, is mega chalk or, um, you know, Jordan Addison is levered.
39:19Not that, not that Devonta Adams is the same, but I just like, I haven't done one of these like worthy when
39:26rice is chalk or whatever, you know, like I, like I have not done that in, in a long time.
39:33Yeah. Yeah. I get it. I get it. But today I, today I think it's different.
39:38I, I like, I actually think the play, the Adams plays different because not only is he still scoring fantasy points and
39:45getting like decent whopper, but he also does so in a way that mega fucks Puka ceiling because he takes the touchdowns away.
39:53Like Puka can do his little PPR scamming, but the, the Devonta Adams three yard touchdowns are so bad for Puka ceiling.
40:00Yeah. And you know, I just wanted access to the Rams in a way that was not going to be chalky.
40:07Like this isn't a super unchalky lineup. So if I was going to do that, I wanted to get a Rams onslaught
40:15in a way that like, wasn't going to be highly owned.
40:18And I thought most people, if they played Stafford, they were going to play Puka and Kua with them.
40:25So, you know, I thought I got access to a lot of Rams in a, uh, you know, in a, in a non-chalky way, mission accomplished.
40:33Uh, unfortunately the Rams eat anus. And so it didn't matter who I played from them.
40:39Cause all right. So I, I lied. I lied.
40:42I did have a really good day, but I will show, uh, a dog shit lineup.
40:47Um, I got to change the, the user here.
40:50So let me, let me, I'll show, I'll show some real, real dog shit.
40:55I played in the red zone. Yeah, maybe. So in the red zone, I played, hold on.
41:00I got to do the user search again. I played Tanner McKee, not even, not even low own Ken Walker, the Andre Swift Puka and Akua.
41:09But here's where it all goes downhill, buddy. I played Joshua fricking downs at 5,800.
41:14It's enough already, man. I learned my lesson. I learned my lesson.
41:18Is Josh downs a different player than Jeremy Bernard?
41:21Many are asking, you know, Jeremy's way better. Jeremy's way, way, way, way, way better.
41:26I I'm, I'm, I'm done. Like whatever points I get from Josh downs and best ball for the rest of the year, like I'll, I'll happily take them.
41:36But like, I'm going to stop trying to make it happen with new money.
41:40Like the, like I'm not throwing good money after bad on Josh downs anymore.
41:45The thing is downs is like, you know, he's five for 47 and he's six for 52, but there's no ceiling on this man.
41:53Like there's, there's no ceiling. And, and every time they do try and throw deep to him, like something bad happens.
42:00And, and like, obviously Daniel Jones is having this like awful year too.
42:04Like Daniel Jones is playing off and you're not even getting like, it's not like huge because there are so many idiots
42:12like me who also play salary cap DFS on draft Kings.
42:15It's not like you're ever getting him at 2%.
42:18It's always like, it's always like 9%, you know?
42:21So it's not even, he's super, super unique or anything.
42:25And I played Goddard on this team for the stack.
42:28And then I played Kyron in the flex, which actually looking at this, this is probably bad because you want to do the non Stafford lineup.
42:37Um, and you're hoping that like realistically, what would have been better on this would have actually to play like a Lave
42:44instead of Puka and like James cook instead of Kyron or something like I'm, I'm hoping that Stafford, like if Stafford gets
42:5131 points and this is my team, even if Tanner McKee has a good game, I probably, I probably lose.
42:58Right. Or, or if Puka and Kyron both have really good games, I probably lose to the Stafford teams, like a huge chunk of the time.
43:07Um, I assume the SIM ROI on this is pretty bad.
43:10Uh, 9% SIM ROI before lock, but then once it knows the field combos and the correlations, yeah, down, down to 10%.
43:18Nate, do you have anything interesting in the spy red zone in any of these red zones to talk about?
43:24Um, you already pulled up the 400k spy, right?
43:27Yes. Yeah. Uh, pull up the, uh, 2.75 millimaker.
43:30I had a, it's not, it's not cash yet.
43:33The only one. So, uh, the guys that run the Sims, I just told them to cash these tournaments more.
43:40So like, Oh, we gather the field for these four, like immediately.
43:44Got it. This, the rest of these are, will be live Sunday, Sunday night.
43:49I can, um, I can put it in this though.
43:52Okay. Yeah. Pull up the, uh, so the, in the 5.55 millimaker, I did a, a Jones team.
43:58How much, what's the field size on that? 4,879.
44:01A Daniel? A Daniel Jones. Yeah. So I did Daniel Jones, Bijan, Ramondre.
44:05Bijan. Hey, I'm going to have to scroll pretty far to get to Ramondre.
44:10What else? Uh, Drake London, Downs, Keenan Allen. Isaiah Lively.
44:13Honestly, honestly, Nate, I just want to say right now, I don't hate this as much as Sammy does.
44:20Isaiah Lively. Braylon Allen. Panthers D. Jones, Downs, and Keenan Allen is objectively hilarious, man.
44:25Dude, not just Jones, Downs, and Keenan Allen. I then said, you know what will make this lineup sexier?
44:31Ramondre. Let's put $555 behind that. I mean, I honestly, like, I, I, I played bad.
44:37Like, I, I don't like anything I put out there today.
44:40What, what were you, were you just out on Hubbard?
44:44Am I, was I, was I out on a.
44:47Dude, if I tell you what I felt about Hubbard, like, you're going to roast me.
44:52He's, I genuinely thought ETN was like going to get Jonathan Brooks level usage.
44:57And I thought like Hubbard's usage was going to like crumble.
45:00Nate, bro, come on, man. I was like, I was like, come on.
45:05And I was like Trevor, Trevor, Trevor, Trevor, Trevor, he's doing the bar stool meme.
45:10He's like, ETN's like, I didn't even know I was going to play.
45:14I didn't know I was active. Like Hubbard, the, the, I, I feel like Hubbard is such a Nate guy.
45:21Cause he's not very efficient, but he gets the ball so much.
45:25Like I felt like the whole first half of that game.
45:28Was just like every, every time I would check, it would be, it would be second and one, then third and one, then fourth and one.
45:37And all of the, all of it would go to Hubbard.
45:41Wow. This is so funny, Nate. Literally 0.97% SIM ROI 0.88 top.
45:45Well, that's actually not horrible top 1%, but very low, a very low cash rate in, in this SIM.
45:51So like a 28% cash rate is pretty low.
45:54Well, good news is the ownership came in much better than that.
45:58Downs only came in at 5%. Jones came in at 3%.
46:02Likely was, oh, I mean, he was pretty high.
46:05What about, what about Mondre? Mondre was 12. Mondre was like, he didn't drop.
46:09I that's, I feel bad about Ramondre. Like I had a lot of Ramondre.
46:14I, I get what Nate's saying. Like when we thought Travion was going to be out, uh, Ramondre was a great play.
46:21And then they're like, oh, Travion's in. And it's like, okay, he's six days off of a high ankle sprain.
46:28Uh, he's probably not going to get a ton of work.
46:32Um, little, little did Nate know about Kiner. Yeah.
46:35They like Kiner. And I mean, honestly, the, the Chuba 30 or 28 carries like, yeah.
46:40The fact that I played anybody near that it's tilting.
46:43I played bad. The Chuba thing was just a miss.
46:47Nope. You know, not everyone can be Davis Maddox.
46:50Not everyone can be the best to ever do it.
46:53Great day. You know, sometimes, sometimes that's the way she goes.
46:57They won't. The people hate this iteration of the show or Davis.
47:01I know this is the worst. Just end the show.
47:04No one likes it. I was going to say it was, it was like a great day.
47:10Like I, I smashed like a couple of huge pickups and stuff too.
47:14Like it was a good day. It was a good, it got to got dude.
47:19But maybe this is, this will show you how much of a laundry bro I am.
47:24Truly like the best part of my day was watching the chargers.
47:28Just not being able to do fuck all just like the most hapless loser organization.
47:33Just like every play, every play is just like the worst thing that could happen.
47:39You've got, you've got a bunch of zeros. And you know what?
47:43I also want to give a shout out to my goat.
47:46My guy, Josh Dombrowski, longtime fan, longtime, longtime friend, hangs out in the discord, was in the, was in the NFFC league
47:54with us last year and took first place in the main BR today.
47:58Tyler Shuck, Ken Walker, James Cook, Malik neighbors, Devonta Smith and Isaiah likely.
48:02So the neighbors likely, but no Jameis. Shuck on the other side, not duped, which very difficult to do with mostly players who are 100% drafted.
48:11Got a little bit of scroll action there with Shuck and Devonta, but just a great team from my goat.
48:18Goat Josh. Josh, good, good player. Good guy. And always, always happy to see, to see that.
48:23So respect my goat, Josh. I have, I'll end with this.
48:27If you guys are watching Packers, Cowboys. I was at a wedding last night.
48:32My friend had a 17 leg college football parlay.
48:35And instead of doing a responsible thing and taking any money out, he put all of it on Brevin Spanford for an anytime touchdown.
48:43All of it. The whole thing, whole stack on Brevin Spanford to score a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers.
48:49So as you are watching this game tonight, think of my friend who didn't tell his wife what he was doing until
48:57it was over and then said, Hey, do you want to go to, uh, do you want to go to Cancun or
49:04do you want to go to Jamaica? Because Brevin Spanford scores a touchdown.
49:08We're going. So think about that. All right, boys, I will be back with you guys tomorrow.
49:14Take it easy.
