A.J. Brown

NegativeBust31:52

AJ Brown had a poor performance in Week 6, dropping passes and nearly costing the Eagles the game; the source uses colorful language ('banana hands') to describe his drop issues and notes the crowd and fans were vocally critical of his performance.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury65:04

The source ranked Alec Pierce approximately two rounds behind consensus in their 2026 seasonal rankings because of injury concerns; the source applies a rule of thumb to avoid drafting injured players for subscribers.

Insight page
NegativeProjection107:00

The source indicates that Alec Pierce was ranked two rounds ahead of consensus in seasonal rankings, but this positioning is being reconsidered; the grouping with Jeremiah Love suggests a downward revision in his fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

PositiveProjection50:32

Kamara delivered 13+ fantasy points in Week 6 with a strong receiving play out of the backfield; the source projects he will continue to have usable weeks throughout the season as his back injury heals with time, and notes the team's heavy pass volume (heaviest in the league) aligns with Kamara's skill set, making him interesting in both seasonal and weekly leagues with potential for plays-of-the-week performances.

Insight page
PositiveInjury50:52

Kamara is dealing with a back injury but the source expects continued improvement as the season progresses and the injury has more time to heal; as long as he avoids re-injury, his outlook remains positive given the team's heavy pass volume.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup51:15

Camara thrives in high-volume passing environments; the Saints are the heaviest pass volume team in the league, making him interesting in both seasonal and weekly leagues with potential for plays of the week.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveUsage8:01

Bijan Robinson posted two touchdowns in Week 6 despite not being the leading rusher (Chris Rodriguez led carries), but the source's primary takeaway centers on Robinson's emerging target equity. Robinson recorded four targets out of 24 total team catches, representing a significant target share for a starting running back. The source emphasizes that Robinson's receiving role has been the open question in his profile, with prior concerns about whether targets would materialize or continue flowing to LaQuint Allen. This Week 6 performance demonstrates Robinson is now securing meaningful passing-game involvement alongside his touchdown equity, validating the bull case for his fantasy value.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup29:00

Bijan Robinson and the Falcons lost to the Bears in Week 6; Atlanta didn't look as good as the final score suggested, though Chicago's defense performed well.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveUsage9:39

Breece Hall ran the ball 27 times despite a negative game script from start to finish, demonstrating his workhorse role and ability to produce even in unfavorable conditions; he put up 20 fantasy points with most of his production coming as a receiver.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeBust5:09

Brian Thomas posted a zero in the London game and now has 5 targets across 2 games with zero fantasy points. The source indicates Jacksonville is pulling Thomas off the field in favor of Travis Hunter, suggesting a dramatic role collapse. The source compares this trajectory to Mike Williams (Tampa Bay), who posted 1,100+ yards as a rookie but was out of the league within 4-5 years, noting this is rare but precedented. Thomas is trending toward being a drop in dynasty leagues and his dynasty value rating is declining faster than nearly any other player.

Insight page
PositiveBust6:28

Brian Thomas is experiencing a dramatic dynasty value collapse this season; the source notes his lifetime value rating has declined faster than any player, driven by declining target volume and now reduced route participation and field time. Despite entering the league with elite talent, perfect situation with Trevor Lawrence, and 1,000 receiving yards as a rookie, Thomas has failed to elevate his game as target competition increased (LaQuint Allen), displaying what the source characterizes as 'complacency 101 from a rookie breakout.' The source explicitly warns against buying the dip, stating 'I wouldn't be trying to buy any dip' and 'catching a fallen knife right now,' emphasizing this is not a temporary slump but a concerning trend of declining involvement.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeRole103:59

The source notes that Buffalo's defensive scheme against Las Vegas treated Brock Bowers as a wide receiver rather than a traditional tight end, using 11B personnel (11 personnel with Bowers designated as a receiver) and assigning a cornerback to cover him; this reflects how defenses are adapting to Bowers' skill set and deployment.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeMatchup51:48

Bucky Irving was a pivot candidate in Week 6 despite playing at home; the Steelers' improved defense and strong front seven wall off running backs, making it a down week for Tampa Bay's backfield.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection12:39

CJ Stroud was an elite fantasy producer in the 34-31 Texans victory, though the offense spread the ball around among multiple skill position players rather than concentrating production.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection29:04

Caleb Williams returned from injury (was carted off with a towel on his head two weeks prior) and looked fully in control in Week 6, posting elite efficiency (30 for 36 completions) and appearing to have full command of the Bears offense despite the recent injury scare.

Insight page

Cam Ward

PositiveProjection23:20

Cam Ward won the game for the Colts despite a horrendous statistical line (100 yards), and the coaching staff has not benched him or given him a breather. The source emphasizes that getting this win for Cam Ward, no matter how ugly, is absolutely huge for dynasty super flex leagues, as he needs to become at least 80% of his first overall pick projection to remain viable in competitive leagues.

Insight page
NegativeProjection24:00

Cam Ward, drafted as the first overall pick, has not yet posted an impressive performance through Week 6. The source expresses concern that Ward needs to reach at least 80% of his pre-draft projection to avoid league-winning disappointment, and notes his inconsistency as a reason the buy-low window remains open on Carnell Tate.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveBreakout23:53

Carnell Tate posted six catches for seven targets with a touchdown in Week 6, marking his first score of the season. The source notes he's been undervalued for weeks and that this touchdown will likely close the buy-low window soon, though the source believes there's still time to acquire him given the Colts' offensive struggles and Cam Ward's inconsistent play. The source emphasizes Tate's efficiency and upside potential, particularly if he were on a team where he doesn't account for 62% of receiving yards.

Insight page
PositiveUsage24:01

Carnell Tate was efficient in Week 6, catching 6 of 7 targets for a touchdown, demonstrating consistent target volume and red zone involvement.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper46:42

The source emphasizes the prescience of targeting Carnell Tate early in rookie drafts among wide receivers, noting that Tate's value is reinforced by the underwhelming performance of other rookie receivers like Makai Lemon. The source is "zeroing in on Carnell Tate among the wide receivers in this class" and expresses relief at having prioritized him.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeProjection70:48

CeeDee Lamb was not 100% and had a weird game in a shootout matchup; despite the two-passing-team script that should have favored him, he underperformed relative to expectations and was captured in monster leagues.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeProjection72:21

Christian Watson had a very strange play that could have been a touchdown—described as probably the strangest non-touchdown, could-have-been-touchdown play of the year—but the specific details were not fully discussed in this segment.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveMatchup43:23

With Jalen Hurts ruled out, this becomes the Chuba Hubbard show despite being a road game; the Eagles' offensive line cannot run block and backup QB Tanner McKee is a game manager, making Carolina's ground game the focal point of the game plan.

Insight page
PositiveProjection45:15

The source highlights Hubbard's stat line (120 yards and one touchdown) as reminiscent of Dalvin Cook's production, positioning him as the Cook-equivalent in a Diggs-Thielen-style Minnesota passing game. This comparison underscores his role as a workhorse back in the Panthers' offense.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveBreakout30:18

Colston Loveland continues to be a conviction play for the source, appearing at the top of plays of the week week after week; with Caleb Williams back and fully in control of the Bears offense, Loveland's role and production are expected to remain strong.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout30:21

Loveland has been a conviction play week after week on the source's plays of the week list; the source expresses strong confidence in his emergence with Caleb Williams back, saying 'it feels so good' to have this conviction play validated repeatedly.

Insight page

Corey Kiner

PositiveSleeper31:49

Corey Kiner is a fringe RB option who got touches late in the game when the Patriots were salting away a win; he nearly scored a touchdown and the source feels good about him as a potential depth option, noting he was at the game and saw Kiner get carries.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeUsage32:11

Deandre Swift was outproduced by Roshan Johnson as a runner in Week 6, suggesting Johnson may have had a more efficient performance or more carries in the game.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeRole20:55

Daniel Jones is not fully healthy and not scrambling like he used to; he's not throwing deep balls as much. His lower body has been ravaged by numerous injuries beyond the ruptured Achilles, and without rushing production, his fantasy thesis collapses. In Week 6, he had only three rush attempts (fewer than Seth McGowan) and 30 rushing yards with one long run of 17 yards, beating his rushing total line but offering minimal upside.

Insight page

Darius Cooper

NegativeRole46:12

The source briefly mentions Darius Cooper as "a fun player" in the context of the Eagles' receiver situation, but provides no specific projection, role detail, or actionable fantasy stance.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeValue52:39

DK Metcalf caught 11 of 15 targets but this is a sell-high moment; the source is not a believer and views this as a sell window, expecting the Seahawks to turn over their roster in the next year or two.

Insight page

Donovan Peoples-Jones

NegativeBust46:12

The source dismisses Donovan Peoples-Jones as "dead" and a long-term zero in dynasty, indicating he is no longer a viable fantasy asset following the Eagles' receiver situation changes.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveBreakout13:12

Likely is continuing his breakout after following his coach to New York; he is functioning as a receiver with a full snap share (over 80%), lining up off the line on the majority of routes alongside only Bowers and McBride in the elite tier of tight ends receiving true wide receiver usage; this elite down-to-down usage pattern is rare and positions him for sustained production.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeRole48:21

The source mentions JJ McCarthy coming in relief during a game but provides no context on whether this was due to injury or a planned substitution, leaving his status unclear.

Insight page
PositiveProjection48:26

McCarthy entered in relief and posted 11.6 yards per attempt, which the source says will boost his dynasty value over players like Tyson Badgett despite being traded for only a fifth-round pick versus Colt McCoy's fourth-round pedigree; the source notes McCarthy has draft capital working in his favor and will likely rise in dynasty rankings on the strength of this upside glimpse in superflex formats.

Insight page

Jahan Dotson

PositiveRole29:43

Jahan Dotson is running starter routes with 80+ percent snap share and high route participation rate; he's clearly the wide receiver two for the Bears over Olamide Zaccheaus (who had 4 targets with no catches vs. Dotson's 5 targets). Available in many deep dynasty leagues and redraft formats, Dotson is a viable fill-in option.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveUsage44:39

Recorded another 13-target game, continuing a pattern of 10+ targets on a regular basis; the source notes that some in Dynasty and seasonal leagues are uncomfortable with Coker's current ranking, suggesting his target volume warrants higher valuation and weekly starts over elite wide receivers.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout44:45

The source ranks Coker as a top-tier receiver option, comparing his emergence to Adam Thielen's undrafted breakout. Coker was undrafted but wasn't a late breakout; the source now sees him on par with elite wide receivers and projects him as the Thielen to McMillan's Diggs in a Minnesota Vikings-style passing game. The source emphasizes audiences aren't yet ready to accept playing Coker over elite receivers, but "he's that good."

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeInjury45:49

The source suggests Jalen Hurts may not play again, comparing his injury situation to Chris Bosh's blood clot issue. This severe injury assessment directly impacts the Eagles' passing game and receiver valuations.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeInjury48:10

Winston was pulled mid-game, likely due to an injury rather than performance-based benching, though the source expresses uncertainty about the exact nature of the substitution that led to JJ McCarthy entering in relief.

Insight page

Jawhar Jordan

PositiveUsage12:12

Jawar Jordan had a better game than Woody Marks and looked better in execution, outperforming the primary running back in a game with two elite defenses.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveUsage52:06

Jalen Warren doubled the carry count over Rico Dowdle with 14 carries and no other running back receiving a carry; at 27 years old, Warren is dynamic enough that the source does not want to trade him for picks, especially now that he's being fed as a runner.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeProjection9:39

Despite scoring 15 fantasy points in the first quarter of Week 6, Jeremiah Love disappeared in the second half and has not scored 20 fantasy points since Week 1; he has been inconsistent with performances ranging from 10–18 fantasy points, suggesting he is not a reliable one-two-turn running back and may be dealing with an undisclosed injury.

Insight page
NegativeInjury65:29

The source ranked Jeremiah Love at least 10 spots behind consensus in their 2026 seasonal rankings specifically because of injury concerns; Love was not healthy to start the season, which aligns with the source's rule of thumb to avoid drafting injured players.

Insight page
NegativeProjection106:51

The source references moving down Jeremiah Love in seasonal rankings, grouping him with other players (Alec Pierce) who were ranked higher than consensus, suggesting a downward revision in his fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection25:57

Jonathan Taylor posted 20+ fantasy points in Week 6 against a winless team in a home game with positive game script, hitting his projection on the nose. The source notes the game total was low, limiting shootout potential, but Taylor still found ways to score—including a 38-yard catch and a touchdown—despite only recording two receptions. The source emphasizes Taylor's consistency and ability to produce even in lower-ceiling games through efficiency and goal-line work.

Insight page
PositiveProjection27:15

Jonathan Taylor is the most reliable of the elite running backs with a very tight band of fantasy point outcomes (15-25 points); one of the least volatile elite running backs, scoring consistently unless the Colts are significant road underdogs. While he got vultured on a couple of goal-line touchdowns in Week 6 (Mo Alley Cox and Pharaoh Brown scoring on Jonathan Taylor drives), his floor and consistency remain elite-level.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveBreakout67:45

Jordan Love is having a real breakout year in 2024; he appears to be under control and makes all the plays despite the Packers having one of the worst offensive lines in the league.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

NegativeRole46:42

The source notes an open debate about Jordan Tyson's role and return timeline if he comes back this year, positioning him as a potential alternative to Makai Lemon in the Eagles' receiver hierarchy.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveRole25:06

Josh Downs caught four of eight targets for 40 yards in Week 6, underperforming expectations. The source had previously projected Downs would be the preferred short-to-intermediate route option, but Keenan Allen has emerged as the preferred target in that role instead. This represents a role shift that the source did not anticipate.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeRole68:08

Josh Jacobs is expected to return next week for the Packers; Pierre Strong looked good in the previous week, but the team believed in Jacobs enough to relegate Strong to limited third-down work.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection102:02

The source expresses sympathy for Justin Herbert in the context of a poor game performance, suggesting disappointment with his fantasy output or role in the game.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveRole102:02

The source expresses strong conviction that Keaton Mitchell must be added in fantasy, stating it is 'mandatory' to drop at least five plays for him given the Ravens' personnel situation; the criticism of Mike McDaniel's usage suggests Mitchell has significant untapped opportunity.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveRole25:10

Keenan Allen has emerged as the preferred option in short-to-intermediate routes for the Colts, contrary to the source's earlier expectations. The source had anticipated Josh Downs would fill this role but Allen has instead claimed it, demonstrating his value in the Indianapolis offense despite off-field distractions.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

NegativeRole41:31

Dropped an easy out route early in the game and was subsequently benched; Mason Taylor was played in wide split formations that would normally feature Sadiq, indicating the coaching staff is punishing the drop and exploring alternatives. The source remains bullish on Sadiq long-term in Dynasty (ahead of Kyle Pitts) but acknowledges this is a fringe fantasy outcome susceptible to coaching whims and drop-related playing time loss.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveProjection66:44

Keon Coleman scored 16 fantasy points in Week 6 due to target conservation—the law of conservation of targets—which the source highlighted in their Plays of the Week a couple weeks prior; the source recommends playing Keon Coleman and selling him where possible in Dynasty before his floor drops out.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

PositiveRole101:45

The source mentions Kamani Vidal alongside Keaton Mitchell and Marion Hampton as a player with untapped opportunity in the Ravens' offense, suggesting he should be prioritized in fantasy despite limited current usage.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeRole54:05

Kyron Williams appeared unhappy after the Rams' loss to Arizona, responding dismissively when asked about the offense ('I don't know. Don't ask me. I wasn't out there'), suggesting potential trouble in the Rams' backfield or offensive scheme.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue30:41

Luther Burden presents a buy-low opportunity after failing to score in Week 6; the source sees value despite the lack of touchdown, suggesting the market may be overreacting to one week's performance.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

NegativeBust46:32

The source advises against trading for Makai Lemon, projecting him to finish the year as a bust in his rookie season. The source notes that Lemon will be available at a low price next year and that his underwhelming performance reinforces the value of targeting Carnell Tate early in rookie drafts over other receivers in the class.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeRole10:09

Marvin Harrison Jr. received four targets and was actively targeted by Nico Saquon on third downs and short-yardage situations, indicating the offense is prioritizing his involvement in key moments despite limited overall target volume in the game.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

PositiveRole41:31

Being deployed in wide split formations that would normally feature Kenyon Sadiq, indicating increased offensive role and opportunity. The source describes him as a solid player and notes his usage suggests he's earning more snaps at Sadiq's expense following Sadiq's drop.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeUsage70:57

Matthew Golden received 13 targets but caught only 6 passes, demonstrating highly inefficient production with the air yards and targets he's getting; he dropped a 40-yard touchdown pass in this game, continuing a pattern of inefficiency despite high volume.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveRole105:04

The source identifies Michael Mayer as a beneficiary of Arizona's two-tight-end deployment strategy, comparing his role to Rob Gronkowski's historical role while Brock Bowers plays the Aaron Hernandez role; this dual-tight-end approach mirrors the productive Gronkowski-Hernandez pairing and suggests Mayer has fantasy upside.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveValue54:30

Michael Wilson received 7 targets in Week 6 against the Rams' smothering secondary; the source actively tried to trade for him in monster leagues, viewing this as an unbelievably perfect time to acquire him since he was facing a secondary that does not allow points to opposing wide receivers.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

NegativeUsage105:49

The source notes that Mike Washington received nine carries in the game but questions the reason for his elevated usage, suggesting it may have been related to Ashen Gentry's injury status or other personnel changes.

Insight page

Najee Harris

PositiveDepth Chart71:11

Named starter over Cam Scadaboo ahead of Week 6 per Jordan Ronan report about an hour before kickoff. Elevated to lead role in Ravens backfield despite depth chart crowding with four running backs.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveRole10:09

Nico Collins appeared frustrated early in the game and was largely shut down after an initial 45-54 yard catch to start; the offense was actively trying to get Marvin Harrison involved on third downs and short-yardage situations, suggesting a shift in target allocation and role emphasis away from Collins.

Insight page

Olamide Zaccheaus

NegativeRole30:07

Olamide Zaccheaus is losing the wide receiver role battle to Jahan Dotson; Zaccheaus had 4 targets with no catches in Week 6, while Dotson had 5 targets, establishing Dotson as the clear wide receiver two.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

PositiveRole101:45

The source mentions Marion Hampton alongside Keaton Mitchell as a player who should be prioritized in fantasy, suggesting he has meaningful opportunity in the Ravens' offense despite limited current usage.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeMatchup8:31

Parker Washington recorded four catches for 64 yards in Week 6, a game where Jacksonville lost by three in a negative game script (trailing most of the game). The source identifies this as a potential buy-low opportunity, noting that Washington will be volatile this season due to Jacksonville's game script dependency. Despite Houston leading throughout the game and Jacksonville being forced into comeback mode in the second half, the Jaguars still ran the ball 27 times on 41 pass attempts, limiting passing volume. The source suggests Washington's volatility stems from Jacksonville's inconsistent passing volume relative to game script, making this a game-dependent play.

Insight page
NegativeUsage12:39

Parker Washington received the bare minimum production in a 34-31 Texans victory, failing to capitalize on a high-scoring game environment where most skill position players were expected to produce.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveBust52:32

Pat Freiermuth was a popular sleeper heading into the week but did not produce, signaling a bust for that narrative.

Insight page

Pharaoh Brown

NegativeRole27:07

Pharaoh Brown scored a touchdown in Week 6, but the source frames this as a vulture of Jonathan Taylor's goal-line opportunity, indicating Taylor was the primary back and Brown benefited from a secondary scoring chance.

Insight page

Pierre Strong Jr.

PositiveProjection68:05

Pierre Strong looked good in the previous week for the Packers; however, the team believed in Josh Jacobs enough to limit Strong's role, suggesting Strong may see reduced playing time when Jacobs returns.

Insight page
PositiveUsage68:12

Pierre Strong looked good last week and earned increased opportunity; he had two third-down conversions in the first half on catches (third and eight, third and 11), suggesting the team believed in him enough to relegate other backs despite Josh Jacobs returning next week.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeUsage31:43

Rhamondre Stevenson was benched late in the game when the Patriots were salting away a win against the Jets; the source notes the team said 'no thank you' to Stevenson and instead used Corey Kiner for the final carries, suggesting a potential shift in the backfield hierarchy.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

NegativeRole43:50

Took care of the football but was unable to offer anything downfield; functioned as a game manager in place of Jalen Hurts, limiting the Eagles' offensive ceiling and forcing them into a ground-focused game plan that couldn't generate points.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveBreakout3:21

Travis Hunter delivered a breakout game in London with 4 receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown on offense while also playing cornerback and matching up against top-tier wide receivers on defense. The source notes he looks every bit of his draft capital and is improving weekly on defense; Jacksonville is choosing to deploy him over Brian Thomas despite Hunter being a less refined receiver who spends most practice time on defense, signaling the team's confidence in his two-way impact.

Insight page
PositiveRole8:01

Travis Hunter is receiving increased snaps and routes compared to Brian Thomas, signaling a shift in the Jaguars' wide receiver hierarchy. The source highlights this as a notable takeaway, contrasting Hunter's elevated involvement with Thomas's declining route participation and field time, suggesting Hunter is emerging as a more trusted option in the offense.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveProjection70:45

Trey Tucker was identified as a play of the week pick alongside Jalen Flournoy, representing a successful fringe wide receiver selection in a week when the source nailed both calls.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper103:58

The source touted Trey Tucker as a matchup play and sleeper in 'plays of the week,' highlighting that he is a de facto wide receiver over one in Las Vegas with 412 air yards on 28 targets (5.5 targets per game); his vertical deployment gives him the ability to win on deeper routes and post chunk plays, making him a streamer with long-touchdown upside.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

NegativeInjury30:36

Trevion Henderson was initially reported to have a high ankle sprain but the source disputes this, noting that Henderson played in the game despite the injury designation, suggesting the injury report was inaccurate or the severity was overstated.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection12:39

Trevor Lawrence was one of the few elite fantasy producers in a game where the ball was spread around among skill position players; he was among the players that would have been started in the 34-31 Texans victory.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeInjury20:41

Tyler Warren, identified as one of the Giants' best players, was not in the game due to injury.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeUsage71:44

Benefited from Scadaboo's benching in Week 6 vs. Saints; received carries that would have gone to Scadaboo. Source notes that combining Tracy's and Harris's fantasy output does not equal what Scadaboo would have produced, as Scadaboo is viewed as the superior talent.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeMatchup12:00

Woody Marks was most degraded by the matchup against Houston's elite front seven; he only had three targets and failed to convert them into meaningful fantasy production, scoring just 10 fantasy points in a game where he needed to produce as a receiver like Breece Hall did.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveUsage0:14

The source captured Xavier Worthy in a monster league matchup, noting the Chiefs didn't need to throw in their game, which limited passing volume and made Worthy a strategic acquisition despite the low-volume context.

0:00It's Mitch Anderson and you're listening to Player Profiler I'm going to wake up, we're going to turn the camera on, turn
0:07the microphone on, we're going to get Justin the producer in here and we're going to do one of our live reaction, real-time reactions to the games.
0:15So I will give you my thoughts on the box scores of each of these games from Sunday is like 12 games.
0:22Justin's going to put them up on the screen.
0:25I will react to what happens. I'm guessing because it's the NFL there are some surprises.
0:30I'm guessing because it's the NFL there's some controversies and I'm going to be pleasantly surprised.
0:35And I'm also going to be very angry about some things and that's all coming up here on the Top 10 Takeaways.
0:42And we have Justin here with me. He is vigorously taking notes, figuring out which games to show.
0:48Lay it on me. I'm excited. I could tell you, Justin, that I was paying attention to a couple things.
0:54My daughter and I are in a monster league together where you capture players depending on who you're matching up against.
1:00And so I'm very locked in. I beat her.
1:03And so I'm very excited. So if you can beat your son or daughter in fantasy, that's always the best feeling.
1:10Everything else is secondary to that. I was we were locked in on that.
1:14We were like refreshing and I captured Xavier Worthy.
1:17It was a great, great week to capture Xavier Worthy because they didn't need to throw in that game.
1:23I knew they wouldn't need to throw. So there's only one thing I know.
1:27There's only one thing I can tell you with definitive certainty without looking at any box scores, having no access to any information whatsoever, no Internet, no nothing.
1:36I know the Chargers lost glasses on the Mike McDaniel sunglasses.
1:39They go on every show until Mike McDaniel is fired.
1:43The most overrated offensive coordinator, the most overrated coach in the history of football.
1:47It's looking that way. And so I'm I am very interested to see the Chiefs Chargers box score and to see how that game played out.
1:55I have a very strong feeling that the Chiefs went up, got a lead, kept that lead and extinguished the Chargers, which
2:02is what every team does to the Chargers and the Chargers couldn't get anything going.
2:07I am guessing that's what happened only because that is the only reality we know as people who consume football and are
2:14familiar at all with the Chargers and that they are the worst team and that there's never a chance like no matter
2:20who they're going up against, if that team is any good, what in any way we know the Chiefs are very good.
2:27So that was a game where I was like, all right, that that's that one.
2:32We don't really even need to cover. I can tell you, I'm sure the Chargers lost that I know.
2:38And then the clock is ticking on Mike McDaniel.
2:41But I am interested in what the exact outcome was, who scored what for fantasy.
2:45I am interested in that. So we will we will cover that.
2:49And I did follow along. I beat Billy in the staff league.
2:53So I do know a couple of players did well.
2:56Certainly Basial Tootin did well. We know that we talked about buying high both on the trade God show and the Sonic Truth show.
3:04So two dynasty programs back to back within like a five day period on the player profiler podcast network covering the acquisition, the buying high on Basial Tootin.
3:12Why? Because he is one of these downhill runners, explosive downhill runners that is just walking into extreme TD equity because the team situation is so good.
3:21The team construction, the team building that you're seeing in Jacksonville, where they're like, we're going to invest in the offensive line.
3:28We're going to invest in the defense and you see it actually playing out.
3:32They're staying healthy as a team and they're rolling over people.
3:35I'm assuming Jacksonville one. We'll see what happens. I know that Basial Tootin had that one.
3:40They couldn't hide from me because I just traded for him.
3:44Remember, there was a trade we covered on trade gods involving Lamar Jackson.
3:48I gave up Lamar Jackson. I gave up Christian McCaffrey.
3:51I acquired Jackson Dart. I acquired Basial Tootin. I acquired a bunch of picks and the more time that goes by because
3:58I was also shipping out guys like Michael Pittman.
4:01It's looking more and more like I won that trade.
4:04I'm very happy to have as much Basial Tootin in dynasty as possible.
4:08So that is a bit of information that I know.
4:11Generally speaking, my fantasy teams had a good day.
4:14I just checked the high level box scores of my fantasy teams and that's it.
4:19I want to dig into the specific box scores today of these games and Justin, you're going to get my live reaction to each one of these games.
4:27How are you going to start us off? Let's do it.
4:31Let's let's start in London. Let's start with the London game.
4:34Okay. This was from a viewer. It was a really good game.
4:38This was in my opinion, the Travis Hunter breakout game.
4:41Oh, he was he was involved in offense and every week he looks better on defense.
4:46He's going up against these big time wide receivers and just man and them up, man.
4:51He looks every bit of the draft capital that they spent on him.
4:55So this was a breakout game for Travis Hunter as a cornerback at Allen offense, too.
5:00He looked good. He had a touchdown. They look at four receptions for 59 and a touchdown.
5:05Like, that's pretty good. I'll take that on my fantasy team.
5:09Oh, wait. Oh, Brian Thomas got a zero. Well, that's that's that's now five targets in two games and zero fantasy points for Brian Thomas.
5:17I'm assuming that what they're doing is they're pulling Brian Thomas off the field and inserting Travis Hunter because they trust Travis
5:24Hunter, who is a less refined wide receiver than even Brian Thomas.
5:27Brian Thomas, not refined. Travis Hunter can't spend any time practicing wide receiver because he's investing most of his time with the defense.
5:35And yet Jacksonville is telling us we would rather have Travis Hunter out there than Brian Thomas.
5:40Brian Thomas is a zero. Brian Thomas is going to zero in dynasty even.
5:44So he's a he's a he's been a drop in seasonal leagues.
5:48We knew we know that. But now he's he's trending toward being a drop in dynasty.
5:53We are going to crunch the numbers on Brian Thomas.
5:56Look back at historic comps for wide receivers that broke out with thousand yard seasons and then just went to zero very quickly.
6:03I'm thinking about Mike Williams on Tampa. So maybe 15 years ago, there was a Mike Williams on Tampa had a great
6:10rookie season broke out over a thousand yards and by his third year, fourth year, he was out of the league like this.
6:17This has happened. This is not unprecedented that you would post eleven hundred yards and then be flushed out of the league within five years.
6:25That has happened. It's very rare, but it has happened.
6:28And all that's going to get factored into the Brian Thomas lifetime value rating on the player profiler dynasty rankings.
6:35So stay tuned for that as the season goes along.
6:38Just keep watching that Brian Thomas dynasty value. It's been going down as fast as any player.
6:43No surprise. Brian Thomas is the big faller just based on percentage of lifetime value lost this season.
6:49No surprise by that at all. But I mean, I'm just it's going to continue and it's only going to gather steam
6:56as it's one thing if he's not getting targeted.
6:58But when he stops running routes, when he's no longer on the field, then it's definitely catching a fallen knife right now.
7:05I wouldn't be trying to buy any dip or I wouldn't try to be galaxy braining any move.
7:11They're always going to be traded to this team.
7:14So let's get. No, thank you. All right. Now that you.
7:17Yeah, that's exactly right. This is not a time to say, oh, buy low on invest in the profile.
7:23It has happened before. This is not unprecedented that a guy on talent right on his raw talent comes into the league
7:30is in the perfect situation with a quarterback who's in the midst of breaking out.
7:35First overall pick in Trevor Lawrence has the passing game to himself.
7:38Essentially puts a thousand yards up on the on the board and then suddenly target competition starts to come in and he starts to fade.
7:46Right. So they add target competition. The team's getting better and he doesn't raise his game.
7:51Instead, he gets complacent. This looks like complacency 101 from a rookie breakout in Brian Thomas.
7:56And I am upset by that. I'm also seeing two touchdowns for Basial Tootin.
8:01Yeah, baby. That's what I'm talking about. He wasn't even the leading rusher.
8:05It was Chris Rodriguez. But he's what is he doing?
8:08Getting touchdown scoring in the passing game as a receiver for targets.
8:12I don't care as much about the two touchdowns.
8:14We know the Bulls case for Tootin is TD equity.
8:17That was what we talked about back to back dynasty shows.
8:21The open question has always been, will he get the targets or are they going to keep going to LaQuint Allen and
8:28his target share going to continue to be below average for starting running back?
8:32Now we're talking about four targets, four out of 24.
8:35That's significant percentage. That's a significant target share. So it's the Basial Tootin target share I'm zeroing in on as a takeaway
8:42here, as well as the Travis Hunter snaps and routes versus Brian Thomas.
8:46Oh, my God. Shocking. And this could be a little buy low opportunity on Parker Washington.
8:51Right. This is a good excuse. Oh, four for 64.
8:54Parker Washington is going to be volatile this year because there are these games where Jacksonville is going to have a lead and they lost this game.
9:03They lost by three great game. Right. And so they were in comeback mode in the second half.
9:08And still, even in comeback mode in the second half, we're talking about only 41 pass attempts, 24 total catches.
9:15This would have been the game. Right. This was looking like as it played out where Houston goes up 1714 and they were up throughout the game.
9:23Right. They were they were leading the entire game.
9:26You have a team like Houston leading the entire game.
9:29All that negative game script that is supposed to lead to a much more extreme pass to run ratio.
9:35And that's not what we saw. They still ran the ball 27 times.
9:39My goodness. You just don't expect that. So even more reason to love tootin here that this was a negative game script game from start to finish.
9:47And tootin still gets there. Tootin still putting up 20 fantasy points and doing almost all of his his damage, his production coming as a receiver.
9:56I'm just I'm just soaking this in, man. This is amazing.
9:59This is great to see. Yeah. No, Houston's Houston's box score was good, too.
10:03It was a good game. That's back to back London games that were entertaining and scoring and everything.
10:09Jalen Knoll with the big game at his first career 100 yard receiving game.
10:13It seemed like Nico was a little bit angry in the beginning of the game.
10:18I don't know what was going on. It looked like he was yelling on the sideline from the viewer.
10:24It looked like they were really trying to get Marvin Harrison involved.
10:28He was looking at him on third down. He was looking at him in the need to get, you know, let's go get five yards right here.
10:36It was it looked like it was a Harrison thing.
10:39Nico still got his, you know, Nico still got his work, mostly because he had a 54 yard catch to start the
10:46game or 45 one or the other. But besides that, nothing.
10:50So that was kind of a weird game. By the way, very helpful that you were watching these games.
10:56I mean, you actually are bringing like all that.
10:58I love the the minutiae from the individual game flow that you're bringing to the table.
11:03Like, hey, he did all his pretty much produced everything in the first quarter.
11:08Like I know because I was following on monster leagues against my daughter that all of Ashton Jenty's fantasy points came in the first quarter that I know.
11:17But everyone else, no idea what happened here. This is absolutely a sell high moment for Jalen Knoll.
11:22His first, maybe last 100 yard game. He did it on only four targets, had a long 50 yard catch.
11:28I mean, this is variance at its most extreme.
11:31I was not nearly as bullish on players in this game because the game total was driven down close to 40 and it was a London game.
11:40And these are two teams where their defenses are arguably better than their offenses.
11:44Certainly Houston's defense better than their offense. Jacksonville also a great defense.
11:48Whenever you have a game with two top 10 defenses, I'm not that excited to play players in that particular game.
11:54And the one player that I think was most degraded by being in one of these contests where there are two quality
12:01front sevens facing off against each other was Woody Marks.
12:04Right. Woody Marks. He needed to do it as a receiver, just like Basial Tootin, because these are two elite front sevens
12:11and he only had three targets and didn't turn those targets into much fantasy production.
12:16So that's why. What? What do you do? 10 fantasy points for Woody Marks?
12:20Yeah. Jawar Jordan had the better game. He looked better too.
12:24So that was definitely not expected. So it was a good idea to stay away from this game.
12:29There's a lot of unexpected names that popped off.
12:32Yeah. It's very interesting. Look at the score. What if I told you the score was 34-31 Texans, but you got the
12:39bare minimum from Parker Washington, the bare minimum from Nico Collins, the bare minimum from Woody Marks, the only elite fantasy producer
12:46really among the skill position players was Basial Tootin.
12:49That you would have started. Right. Of the players that it was just basically Basial Tootin and Trevor Lawrence and of course,
12:56CJ Stroud, but they really spread the ball around.
12:59I mean, you look at Houston, they're going to keep spreading the ball around.
13:03This is why I'm not bullish on Jalen Knoll.
13:06They added Marvin Harrison, Marvin Harrison getting four targets.
13:09It's Keishon Booty also getting three targets, three targets to Hutchinson.
13:12They have a strong receiving core. And this is going to be the theme of the year where Nico will likely eat.
13:19We've seen multiple seasons of Nico Collins being a wide receiver one and eating.
13:23And then it's just going to be who gets what's left.
13:27Is it going to be Tank Dell when he returns?
13:30He's going to be running some of those routes that Jalen Knoll is running.
13:34So for a lot of reasons, this is the ultimate sell.
13:38This is not a waiver wire ad for me in Jalen Knoll, unless there was an injury I'm not aware of.
13:44The other request that I have is if there's a big injury and I'm missing something from a game, please let me
13:51know because I don't even know who was hurt or not hurt.
13:55I don't know anything unless it happened in the Patriots game.
13:58So it's at the Patriots game. All right. So Jawar Jordan, he's interesting.
14:02But David Montgomery will be back in a week or two.
14:06Woody Marks dominated him in terms of snaps, routes, carries.
14:09Did he have any targets? Jawar Jordan did have one target.
14:12But otherwise, this was a touchdown. He had a 25 yard run.
14:16This will happen. This is not a guy I'm going to get way out over my skis on, especially because this is not a strong offensive line.
14:25This is one of the worst run blocking offensive lines in the sport.
14:29Jawar Jordan needs that. He got lucky, right? He's not a better athlete than even David Montgomery at this point.
14:35So it's unfortunate that a more fantasy relevant player did not get that particular carry in that particular game situation.
14:41But we're not going to get overly excited to add Jawar Jordan or overly excited to add Jalen Knoll.
14:47I will say that remember the trade that we did, this now famous trade where I traded Lamar Jackson and I traded
14:54Christian McCaffrey and I got Tootin and I got Picks and I got Jackson Dart.
14:59Do you remember the other player I also acquired just the pure upside play for my bench that I acquired in that deal?
15:06Travis Hunter. Oh, there you go. Travis Hunter was in that deal.
15:10I have been actively in these for these orphans where I am multiple seasons from being able to compete.
15:15I'm like, I might be able to compete in 2028.
15:19Those are the types of teams where I've been trying to get Travis Hunter because anything can happen between now and then.
15:25We know he has the skills. We know he has the ability to be a big time producer on offense if he's called upon.
15:33So if they go out and they draft a cornerback next year, let's say they draft a cornerback in the first round
15:40and it turns out he's really good like Christian Gonzalez.
15:43Well, then what happens? They might. Okay. Brian Thomas shipped out.
15:46We need a playmaker on the outside. We need or we need a queen chess piece wide receiver to move all around
15:53the formation and to take carries on reverses and design screens and all these things.
15:58We're going to ramp up the routes and the touches for Travis Hunter.
16:02Three years from now, he could be back to being a full-time wide receiver.
16:06We'll see. We'll see. So why not? Right. If you're if you're taking over an orphan and it's a long-term investment strategy, why not?
16:14Right. Why not? And by the way, we've got to go a lot faster.
16:18If we're spending this much time on this game now, it was a very interesting game, clearly, but that's the that's the thing with the NFL.
16:26A lot of these games are very interesting. So I'm going to try to do my best to analyze these games in
16:33a much more rapid fire fashion as we go along.
16:36Okay, cool. Well, we'll move to a little more of a boring game here.
16:41We got Baltimore Ravens losing to the Cleveland Browns.
16:441310 classic AFC North boring game with backup quarterbacks.
16:46And it was not an entertaining one to watch.
16:49Even Henry looked kind of boring, but that's just because Baltimore can't really do much.
16:54The interesting thing with this game is the five sacks from Deshaun Watson and that Deshaun Watson is starting to be put back into the bottle.
17:02I was like, oh, Deshaun Watson. He's back. He looks like the old Deshaun Watson.
17:07No, he's not. His legs are fried. His arm is toast.
17:10His arm wasn't strong coming out of Clemson. Right.
17:13So he absolutely lollipops it out there. There is a ticking time clock on Deshaun Watson that that time clock hasn't changed
17:20just because he posted some impressive fantasy performances. He was usable in fantasy.
17:24Doesn't mean that they're not going to bench him for Shadur Sanders in a few weeks.
17:29Very much could happen. And this game was a reminder of that home game.
17:33They did win. They are four and two. They're three and oh at home.
17:38That's going to be the thing. That'll be the thing that keeps him under center.
17:42It's not going to be his performances. It's going to be the fact that they keep winning.
17:48And Jerry Judy was the leading receiver. I mean, this is just disgusting.
17:52This is gross. And the fact that Deshaun Watson fundamentally does not have a strong deep ball, even though it looked like
17:59he did, especially in his connections with Denzel Boston this year.
18:02Denzel Boston, these performances are out there when your quarterback is Deshaun Watson and you're a Brown and the quarterback on the
18:09other side of the matchup is Tyler Huntley. And the game total is under 40.
18:14This is the week to bench a player like a Denzel Boston.
18:17And I am interested to see Jacoby Lane was four for five.
18:21He put up eight fantasy points and it was four for five.
18:25Very efficient performance from Jacoby Lane. Josh Cueves. Wow.
18:28Five targets. That's interesting. I think Hibner was out.
18:31And so Cueves comes in. But what I'm seeing here is Baltimore is very interested in getting their rookie tight ends involved
18:37in addition to Mark Andrews, because these guys are essentially replacing Isaiah Likely.
18:42And Isaiah Likely is clearly breaking out all over the place in New York and is now an elite top five tight end in all formats.
18:50Check out player profiler. You can see there's Isaiah Likely top five everywhere.
18:54And his target share is as good as anybody.
18:57It's like Brock Bowers level target share. It's unbelievable.
18:59Isaiah Likely. Really impressive. They're trying to get another Isaiah Likely ramped up here in Baltimore.
19:04I don't think Cueves is the answer. I still think it's Hibner.
19:08Hibner has a stronger profile and was not 100% coming into this game.
19:12So not going to get too excited. I know a lot of you are in deep dynasty leagues that are tight end premium.
19:19I probably will add some Cueves here and there where I have room, but my chips are still down on Hibner.
19:26And in a way, this performance is encouraging for Hibner as well.
19:30Harold Fannin's a big bust, by the way. Notice how big of a bust Harold Fannin's been this year?
19:36Yeah, that's been that was a tough one. I mean, you can kind of see it last year when he was the only thing on their team.
19:44And so he's just going to get every one of the good targets.
19:48But, you know, now they add a couple of rookie wide receivers and they're both legit.
19:53And so and then you have Deshaun Watson throwing the ball.
19:57So sorry, Fannin. Sorry, Fannin owners. Fannin has been leaking value.
20:00He's now down to tight end nine. So he starts the season at tight end five and in just getting past.
20:07Right. It's like Laporta is better. Likely is better.
20:09Kraft is healthy. Demonstrating health. Dalton Kincaid. Like, I'd rather have all those guys in dynasty than Harold Fannin.
20:15And he's a drop in redraft seasonal leagues. He's not producing at all.
20:19And he's got all this target competition now with these rookies, Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston.
20:24Even when they're not producing, they are they are commanding targets.
20:28What's next? Let's see. We got an upset, a big upset.
20:31Oh, yeah. A weird one that led to firings.
20:34Was this a big upset? Really? I mean, maybe not the biggest upset, but the Colts just beat Houston last week.
20:41They looked like they were kind of turning the page a little bit, but then they come into this game a little
20:48banged up with, I think, who is one of their best players, Tyler Warren.
20:52He's not in the game. But Daniel, it's Daniel Jones.
20:55Daniel Jones isn't fully healthy, obviously. And that's what's holding them back.
20:59What do you mean? Obviously. What do you mean?
21:02Obviously, he's not healthy. He's not scrambling like he used to.
21:05He's not the deep ball. He's not throwing it as much.
21:08The deep ball. Yeah, so it's like about him driving like on that, on the foot and stuff.
21:14Whoa, whoa, whoa. Are you talking about a different Daniel Jones that I'm familiar with?
21:19Daniel Jones was never a driver of deep balls.
21:22That's never been Daniel Jones. Daniel Jones has always been a guy who, like Alex Smith, comes out, big arm, great body, athlete, right?
21:29Great athlete. And then throws so many interceptions early that they just can't come back from it.
21:34Mentally broken by the NFL. The NFL broken, right?
21:37Now, maybe it's possible to come back from that.
21:40Sometimes they come back from that. The NFL bent but did not break Jared Goff.
21:45It bent but did not break Sam Darnold. Though you could argue that by not breaking under that pressure, like he's almost
21:52too much of a gunslinger for what that team needs.
21:55But that's a nuanced conversation for another day. The NFL did break Carson Wentz.
21:59And you could argue that Daniel Jones was never unbroken.
22:02That this is what he has always been, at least since his first couple years in the league.
22:08And if he's not able to scramble, because it's not that he's not healthy.
22:12It's just that his legs, his lower body has been ravaged by numerous injuries, not just the ruptured Achilles.
22:18And that if he doesn't offer rushing production, that's the whole point, right?
22:22That was part of the thesis for Daniel Jones.
22:25He did post 30 rushing yards. That's more than I'm sure what the line was on his rushing total this week.
22:32So he did beat his rushing total. He had one big long run.
22:36He had one long run, I'm sure, like 17 yards.
22:39And but just three rush attempts. He had fewer rush attempts than even Seth McGowan.
22:44So you're right. I'm not interested in Daniel Jones.
22:46I think that I'm not actually that interested in even like the news about Chris Ballard getting fired.
22:52I know that he was fired. I assume they lost the game when I saw he was fired.
22:58It was probably not to look at the box score, but I assume, but it wasn't surprising at all.
23:04The Colts came into this game two and three, and this is the exact type of game you got to watch out
23:10for because Tennessee, they are still spunky. When you watch these games, Tennessee is not laying down.
23:16Like these are professional players that are trying to earn their next contract.
23:20And I know Cam Ward, this line looks horrendous, looks awful, a hundred yards, but he won the game.
23:26He won the game and they have not yet decided we're going to bench him.
23:30He needs a substitute. We're going to give him a break.
23:34We're going to give him a breather. The coach has been, Salah's been supporting him every step of the way and just
23:41getting that win for Cam Ward, no matter how ugly it was, absolutely huge for dynasty super flex leagues.
23:47Cause I have, I have Cam Ward in a league where I also have Jalen hurts and I need him badly.
23:53Like I have burrow hurts and cam ward. And if I don't, and also Daniel Jones, if I don't get cam ward
24:00to become at least 80% of what he was projected to be as the first overall pick, I'm fried in that league.
24:07And Carnell Tate got there on seven targets, man, a nice, efficient six for seven week for Carnell Tate with the touchdown.
24:14This is what you love to see. Imagine Carnell Tate on a team where he's not accounting for 62% of the receiving yards.
24:21I mean, my God. I mean, we said by low on Carnell Tate for weeks, this was his first touchdown.
24:27As soon as he scores that touchdown, the, the by low window is going to be closed.
24:33I think the by low window is still open on Carnell Tate.
24:36I, I, I know I said a few weeks ago that as soon as he scores a touchdown, it'll close, but I think this team is bad enough.
24:45Cam ward has been bad enough and has not yet posted an impressive performance yet.
24:50Still some time to get Carnell Tate, but really it was, it was a couple of weeks ago when you needed to
24:57really put your chips in the middle to try to get Carnell Tate in all formats.
25:02So that, that ship is sailing, hasn't quite sailed yet, but that ship is sailing.
25:06Josh Downs four for 40 on eight targets. So the targets were there.
25:10Keenan Allen is looking like a preferred option in the short intermediate routes to Josh Downs.
25:15I did not see that coming. If you asked me a few weeks ago, how this would play out, I would have said the opposite.
25:23I said it would have been Josh Downs going eight for 80.
25:27Sure enough. It's actually Keenan Allen. So I'm wrong about that.
25:30Somehow this guy, he's, he's getting pulled over by the cops or, you know, potentially being, or at least looking as if
25:37allegedly he was intoxicated in a park car. I mean, I just imagine him just getting through the season, cashing these checks
25:44and moving on with life, but no, no, he came to Indianapolis to play.
25:49So bravo to Keenan Allen. And this was also not the game where you're going to be, uh, going out of your way to play Jonathan Taylor.
25:57He posted something like what? 15, 20, 22 fantasy points.
26:00This was one of those games where it's a home game for Jonathan Taylor against a team that hasn't won a game yet.
26:07All this positive game script, you know, he's going to be getting all the care.
26:12He's going to be getting all the touches and he's going to completely smash.
26:16So the theory of the case was strong, except the game total was so low that that was the one thing it
26:23was like, we're not going to get much of a shootout here.
26:27So Jonathan Taylor might get a touchdown and that's about it.
26:30And that's exactly what he did. I mean, I think he hit his projection on the nose.
26:36This just wasn't a big upside game for Jonathan Taylor because this was supposed to be a muddier game.
26:42This was supposed to be a more underwhelming game than it even was.
26:46So I'm impressed that he went over 20 fantasy points.
26:49It just goes to show, man, there's only certain types of games where you don't play Jonathan Taylor aggressively in DFS.
26:56This was not one of them because it was a home game.
26:59Even when the Colts lose, doesn't matter. He's going to get there one way or the other.
27:05Didn't get there with catches, only two catches, but one of those catches went for 38 yards.
27:10So he just finds a way, man. He finds a way to score a touchdown.
27:15He finds a way to break a bunch of tackles on a screen pass and get you 20 plus fantasy points.
27:21I love Jonathan Taylor, man. Can I tell you I love Jonathan Taylor?
27:25Me too, man. He's a, he did get vultured a couple of touchdowns there at the goal line.
27:31You see Mo Alley Cox and Pharaoh Brown with a touchdown.
27:34Like those are, those were Jonathan Taylor drives. He had gotten them there.
27:38And then just that weird offensive thing when they're like, okay, let's get tight end six, a touchdown today.
27:44Whatever. Yeah. This game was not supposed to be this high scoring.
27:48So they weren't even supposed to be in those situations as much as they were.
27:53And then he got vultured one way or the other.
27:56Like he, he was locked into a particular band of fantasy points scoring like 15 to 25 fantasy points was a very tight band for Jonathan Taylor.
28:04One of the least volatile running backs among the elite running backs, B.
28:08John Robinson, much more volatile than Jonathan Taylor. Even Jameer Gibbs, much more volatile.
28:13The one thing about Jonathan Taylor is that unless they're going on the road as significant underdogs, which happens unless it's one
28:20of those game situations, he is the most reliable of the elite running backs.
28:24I mean, you could argue that because Jameer Gibbs floor is so much higher than his and his ceiling is the outer space, right?
28:31It doesn't much matter. Like he is more reliable.
28:34I guess technically Jameer Gibbs, because his range of outcomes is so much greater than Jonathan Taylor, even though he's more volatile,
28:41he is also more reliable than Jonathan Taylor just because it's so hard to find a scenario where Gibbs doesn't get there.
28:48It's amazing. Gibbs is amazing. Why are we talking about Gibbs?
28:52He's on a buy. What's next? Here we go.
28:54Speaking of Mr. Bijan Robinson, we have Atlanta losing to the Bears and it was a good game.
29:00Atlanta didn't look as good as the score suggested, but Chicago sure did.
29:04Caleb's back and he looked full under control. He looked like it was his offense.
29:09Looked like he didn't just get carted away a couple of weeks ago.
29:13So they're back. Can we just take a moment of silence to remember Caleb Williams getting carted off with a towel on
29:20his head, giving the thumbs up to the crowd as if he barely survived a play, right?
29:25I mean, they were close to bringing in an ambulance and a helicopter, medevac helicopter, and now he's back and he looks like it.
29:32Look at me. Look at the efficiency. 30 for 36.
29:36Wow, man. It gets that defense. That defense has looked good.
29:39The Atlanta defense has been spunky. Mm-hmm. Jahan Dotson, not dead yet.
29:43Not dead yet. Jahan Dotson. He's available in so many deep dynasty leagues.
29:47I mean, of course, he's available in seasonal leagues and redraft, but he's available in deep dynasty leagues.
29:52If you need a fill in, he is running starters routes, right?
29:56He's got the 80 plus percent snap share. He's got a relatively high route inventory and route participation rate.
30:02He runs a lot of different types of routes and he is the one.
30:07I mean, four targets for Olamide Zaccheaus, no catches.
30:09Five targets for Jahan Dotson because they're vying for wide receiver two versus wide receiver three.
30:14It's clearly Dotson now. Interesting. Jahan Dotson, Penn State, getting there.
30:18We have a Roma Dunze problem is what I'm seeing here.
30:21What I'm seeing is as expected with the Bears, we have kept going back to Colson Loveland and plays the week.
30:28So that's so good. God, it feels so good.
30:31To have the conviction play, to keep Colson Loveland posted up top of the plays of the week, week after week.
30:37Of course, Caleb Williams comes back and all is right in the world.
30:41Also with Luther Burden, just didn't get the score.
30:44So still buy low opportunity on Luther Burden for now.
30:47There's also a buy low opportunity on Roma Dunze, but Roma Dunze just might not be that good.
30:53This foot injury that he complained about in the offseason saying it's never going to be the same and I have to learn to manage it permanently.
31:01That was concerning. And then sure enough, like he has been underwhelming this year when Caleb Williams plays and when he doesn't play.
31:08So I hate this for Roma Dunze. He is dropping in the dynasty in the rankings.
31:13You've seen this, this growing disparity between Luther Burden and Roma Dunze.
31:17And that is going to expand greatly after this week.
31:20I mean, this is only four targets on 36 attempts.
31:23So the target share is just not there for Roma Dunze.
31:27It doesn't matter what the game situation is. Very concerning.
31:30I love seeing, by the way, a little Roshan Johnson.
31:33We talked about Roshan Johnson on plays of the week.
31:36Who are these RB2s that can come in? We mentioned Corey Kiner because Trevion Henderson wasn't supposed to play.
31:42It was a high ankle sprain, but that was a lie.
31:46It was not a high ankle sprain because we know it wasn't a high ankle sprain because Trevion Henderson played last night, yesterday.
31:53He was out there in the last game. So come on, man.
31:57Enough with a high ankle sprain. It wasn't a high ankle sprain.
32:00We have to put together a plays of the week show and a post on Patreon, patreon.com slash podfather to let people know the plays of the week.
32:09And of course, I'm going to, I'm going to write up Corey Kiner.
32:13If I think that Trevion Henderson has a high ankle sprain when they're going to play the jets at home.
32:19And then sure enough, Henderson plays, but guess who was still in at the end of the game?
32:25Guess who was still in to burn all that clock?
32:28And then they still almost lost because of the banana hands that, that AJ Brown has.
32:33I think of AJ Brown as having bananas for fingers, right?
32:37Cause you know, you slip on a banana peel, right?
32:40But what if you had banana peels for hands?
32:43So that's what it looked like as a person watching the game.
32:46It was embarrassing. The crowd was groaning. The, there was some very rude things said about AJ Brown in the stands in Foxborough.
32:54I'll just say that right now. Uh, and I think I was yelling banana peel hands or something like that.
33:00That's what it felt like. Banana hands. Brown is what's happening.
33:03And, uh, they said, no, thank you to Ramadre Stevenson.
33:06No, thank you to trivia and Henderson to salt the game away.
33:10They brought in Corey Kiner. So Corey Kiner still got touches.
33:14I know that because I was at the game.
33:16So I still feel good about, Hey, fringe RB that could get in there.
33:21Corey Kiner almost scored a touchdown. Also Roshon Johnson.
33:24If my nun guy doesn't play Roshon Johnson is a, is a nice, nice option.
33:28Fringe option in deep leagues in the flex position.
33:31And he outproduced Deandre Swift as a runner. The conviction paid off on Loveland, but it's paid off even more because the
33:38conviction on Roshon Johnson goes, goes back years with us.
33:41And we keep talking about him and even people that were bullish on Roshon Johnson two years ago, a year ago, they've since moved on.
33:49We have not moved on every week in the plays of the week.
33:53When men, men, men, guys out, we talk about playing Roshon Johnson.
33:57Why? Because he's also commanding targets out of the backfield two more targets.
34:01And, and they went for what? 34 yards on two catches.
34:04He was really efficient and produced. Thank you to Roshon Johnson.
34:08I'm so happy about that. This is not quite Roshon Johnson dance party worthy, but if he has, I can promise the
34:14audience this on the top 10 takeaways, Roshon Johnson has another big week at some point ever because we just have continued
34:21to believe, continue to keep the conversation alive. This is a player with size and an all purpose skillset.
34:27He's just not explosive. Do you know how many players are like that?
34:31From David Montgomery on down that have had very productive seasons in the National Football League and have been fantasy assets that
34:38people want on their fantasy team, help fantasy teams win championships.
34:42That guy could be Roshon Johnson. I mean, we are an injury away to DeAndre Swift.
34:47And if it's turf toe, right? We're talking about a problem for Manungi, a lower body problem that is going to haunt
34:54him for the rest of the year. Roshon Johnson is healthy.
34:57He is clearly there. They're trusting him in a game where they're just, Hey, we just need to secure the football.
35:04We can't fumble, right? They were up 21, seven against Atlanta.
35:07They just need to secure the football, secure the game, salt it away.
35:11Who do they call on? Roshon Johnson and the Patriots called on Corey Kiner.
35:15That was interesting to me. Not, not letting up the box score like Roshon did, but there was trust shown in Corey
35:22Kiner that I thought was interesting and noteworthy. What's next?
35:25Uh, we got Jets and Patriots. If you want to talk about it a little bit.
35:30Well, we've talked about Corey Kiner. We've talked about AJ Brown.
35:34I'm not selling AJ Brown because he can't catch anymore.
35:37He can't catch onside kicks. And by the way, shame on all the people that left the game.
35:43I'm like, game's not over guys. Game's not over.
35:45They could, they could drive down score onside kick.
35:48How many games have we seen as Patriots fans go one way or the other in these situations?
35:54Everybody leaving. Come on, man. It was exciting. That was an exciting game.
35:58The player that made the game maximum exciting for me was Braylon Allen.
36:02Actually, it was Braylon Allen because I mean, Dobbs caught a touchdown and then left the game.
36:07I think he might've fallen on the ball. I think that maybe the ball somehow got stuck between his shoulder and the ground and his hand.
36:15And he was uncomfortable after that cradled the ball up.
36:19And then I think it landed when I was cradling it, it might've hit, it might've got pinned against his shoulder in the ground.
36:26I don't know what happened to him. Anyway, he left.
36:29And that, that opened up more route share for Efton Chisholm and for Kyle Williams.
36:34I want to see more Kyle Williams. That's the bottom line.
36:37I want to see more Kyle Williams. I liked what I saw.
36:41I want to see more. And we, as a fantasy public are going to be seeing more and more and more Braylon
36:48Allen, either he's going to earn more touches and it's bad for Brees Hall in New York, or he's going somewhere else to be a bell cow.
36:56I mean, he, he has looked as good or better than any running back in the 2027 class.
37:02And so when you're evaluating the 2027 picks and those 2027 picks are losing value, we're going to be updating the 2027
37:09pick values on player profile or the dynasty deluxe, but also our app, the dynasty dominator app, where you have a trade
37:16analyzer right on your app right on your phone value of those 2027 picks is going down.
37:21And we're going to be posting the top 25 players prospects in the 2027 class on player profiler very soon.
37:27Look for that. Working with Maddie on that. Very excited about that.
37:31I just as soon have Braylon Allen on the trade God show.
37:35We talked about a failed trade that did not happen.
37:38And the reason it didn't happen was I was essentially trading up 10 to 12 spots from the late second round to
37:45the early second round or actually late first round.
37:48So it would have been a late second trading up to a late first because I had the guy's second round pick
37:55and I was going to give him back his second round pick and then get his first round pick to make that deal happen.
38:02My league mate wanted Terry McLaurin and I'm willing to talk about Terry McLaurin on a rebuilding team for a rebuilding team.
38:09Terry McLaurin's 30. He's been incredibly healthy and productive and efficient.
38:12He hasn't shown signs of slowing down, but I'm willing to talk to Terry McLaurin.
38:17It's when he added Braylon Allen, that deal became a non-starter because I was like, what am I going to accomplish here?
38:24I'm trading up 10 spots to get a guy worse than Braylon Allen at running back.
38:29Why would I do that? Yeah. Braylon looks so good out there.
38:33It's, it's like every single one of his runs goes for five yards minimum.
38:37It's he just, he's just a monster Mack truck out there.
38:41He's creating, he is creating on his own. And by the way, just when you thought he was dead, Kyle Pitts with two touchdowns.
38:48We have to make sure we mentioned this, right?
38:51Kyle Pitts going off for 25 fantasy points. Almost.
38:54That made me happy because the projections are very difficult with Kyle Pitts.
38:58So the hardest projections to create both the lifetime value rating for dynasty and seasonal projections and weekly projections for Kyle Pitts.
39:05It's, it's, it's as hard as it gets, but we have refrained from moving him outside the top 12 dynasty tight ends.
39:12And I'm very proud. I mean, that took some real courage on our part and with that, because I don't even have that much conviction.
39:19I have a lot of conviction in Colson Loveland.
39:22I don't have that much conviction in Kyle Pitts, but he's only 26 years old and he has a very impressive resume
39:29for a 26 year old tight end. So very difficult to move him outside the top 12.
39:34We didn't do it. Others did shame on them.
39:37Good for us. And Drake may's making great decisions out there.
39:41Very proud of Drake may. That was his game drops all over the place.
39:45It wasn't just AJ Brown, AJ Brown dropped like three passes in a row at one point.
39:50And that's before he, he, he just spilled the, the onside kick.
39:54And yet still they won still is because Drake may what you see with Drake may is he has a guy open
40:01over the middle for an eight yard game. Drake may does not take that throw all the time.
40:07He loves to roll out and see if he can get a 15 yard game, see if he can get a touchdown.
40:13And I love that. I mean, he's best comparable to Josh Allen and he looks very similar to Josh Allen in person,
40:20the way he's, he's a little smaller, but he's making those decisions where he knows he has guy over the middle and
40:27he chooses to roll out and try to go for more.
40:31And it gets him in trouble sometimes as a guy, Josh Allen in trouble for years early in his career.
40:37It's been getting Drake may in trouble, especially early this season.
40:40He made one of those throws in this game.
40:43And I was like, what was he looking at?
40:46We don't know, but the picture that he sees when he's rolling out is, is definitely becoming more clear with Omar Cooper.
40:53I was not necessarily wowed by Omar Cooper. This was a situation where Christian Gonzalez was often finding Garrett Wilson and shadowing him.
41:00And then naturally, Omar Cooper was the guy that wasn't seeing the, the alpha coverage and was getting the targets.
41:06So we'll see what happens. The game situation was absolutely perfect where it was, we're in comeback mode and Garrett Wilson's getting smothered on the other side.
41:15So it was a perfect setup for Cooper. I want to see more from him.
41:19So he's not going to be vaulted up our rankings, like maybe some others.
41:24The theory was Sadiq would also eat in that situation.
41:27Oh, so I talked about him on the plays of the week.
41:31Unfortunately, he dropped a very easy out route and then he stopped getting playing time after that.
41:36So he was being used early, had a drop, a lot of drops.
41:40It was a game of drops. And then they decided to punish him.
41:44And the thing is, the problem with Sadiq is they have Mason Taylor.
41:48They have another option. And they were even playing Taylor in some of these wide splits formations where that would normally be Sadiq.
41:55But I was like, as soon as I saw Taylor out there, I'm like in the slot.
42:01I'm like, oh, that drop is going to cost him, man.
42:04And then I looked down and there's number 16 on the sideline.
42:08I'm like, God, God, this is just the fickle nature of NFL coaches.
42:12And they can affect fantasy outcomes, fringe fantasy outcomes, right?
42:15The fringe fantasy outcomes don't come through as often as say Jonathan Taylor, because they're susceptible to these kinds of scenarios playing out.
42:22So that's what happened. I still believe in Kenyon Sadiq, but that was a bad drop.
42:27And Mason Taylor is a solid player. And it's going to be a problem for him this year.
42:33Still bullish on him in Dynasty. Certainly he's still ahead of, say, Kyle Pitts in Dynasty.
42:38But it was cool to be at a game and see how things played out, why they played out, instead of just
42:45looking at the advanced box scores and seeing routes run and not knowing exactly why.
42:49Being at the game, at least he gave you more context.
42:53Okay. This is exactly why. So not necessarily good news, but I think better than just, hey, they came into the game
43:00plan and they didn't feel like they needed Sadiq.
43:03No, it looked more like he was being relegated because of a bad drop and they like what they saw from Mason Taylor.
43:10I don't think that's going to hold in the long run.
43:13What's next? Definitely not long run. Totally agree. Okay.
43:16Um, okay. We got, this was kind of a stinker, um, just mostly because of just backup quarterback play by the Eagles
43:23and didn't really, it seemed like Carolina had the game in hand the whole time, but it was still a one score game the whole game.
43:31So I don't care about this game. I really don't care at all about this game.
43:36This game is exactly what we thought it was.
43:39As soon as Jalen hurts is ruled out, this becomes the Chuba Hubbard show, even though it's a road game, what are they going to do?
43:47I mean, you would, you would need Tanner McKee to be better than advertised.
43:51And he was, he took care of the football, but wasn't able to offer anything downfield and the Eagles can't run block.
43:58So this was the, this was the, the bet of the year where soon as a hurts goes out without hurts, they
44:05can't do a thing because of their offensive line.
44:08If they can't run and you know, Tanner McKee is going to be a game manager, then they can't really score.
44:14So taking the, taking the Panthers, what was the line on this game?
44:19There's no way the Panthers were 10 point favorites.
44:21I think that the Panthers was such a smash against the spread in this particular game, just because you think about how can the Eagles possibly score points?
44:30The fact that he scored even 14, I'm shocked.
44:33What a gross game. And notice Jalen Coker out targeting McMillan, another 13 target game for Jalen Coker.
44:39Not that he's like putting up exactly 13 targets, but we're talking about 10 plus targets on the regular for Jalen Coker
44:45is something you need to get used to. And I know that some in dynasty are not comfortable with where we have
44:52Coker, where we have him ranked for seasonal leagues and our seasonal rankings, where we have him weekly.
44:58When I go on with Chuck Bass starter stream show, it seems like the audience just isn't ready for us to say,
45:05Hey, play Jalen Coker over elite wide receiver X, but we're here.
45:09Like this is the reality. He's that good. It took us a little while to get there with Adam Thielen undrafted late breakout.
45:16Coker was undrafted, but wasn't a late breakout. So remember at one point we had Thielen and Diggs on par with each other in that Minnesota passing game.
45:25Well, that's where we're headed. That's where we are.
45:27I think we're, we're almost there where Coker is Thielen and McMillan is Diggs.
45:32That's what I'm seeing. And Chuba Hubbard, he's Dalvin Cook.
45:35I mean, doesn't this look like a Dalvin Cook stat line for you?
45:39I mean, 120 yards and a touchdown with a few catches, one catch.
45:43Yeah. This is, this is like, this is a throwback Minnesota Vikings team back to the Diggs Thielen, Minnesota teams.
45:49That's what we're seeing right here. And Jalen Hurts may never play again.
45:53This is a Chris Bosch situation with blood clots.
45:56So Devante Smith, he's going to come down and dynasty, even though he put up an impressive stat line, 20 plus fantasy points.
46:03He's going to come way down because he, as the number one receiver, he is going to be fed.
46:09We know that, but the TD equity comes down.
46:12That's, that's, I'm just explaining the mechanics of how he comes down.
46:16How does, how does his lifetime value rating and dynasty and his projection in seasonal leagues and weekly rankings fall?
46:22It's a share of less touchdown equity is going to be the reason why he's still going to get targets.
46:28Wicks is gone. Wicks is dead. Everyone's dead. I like Darius Cooper.
46:32He's a fun player. Dead. Makai Lemon. You don't need to trade for him now.
46:37Like you might say, Oh, buy low on Makai Lemon.
46:40Uh, no, you can buy low on Makai Lemon at any point next year.
46:44Like he is going to finish the year as a bust, right?
46:48A busted rookie year. And then it'll be an open debate of like Jordan Tyson, what he does when he comes back.
46:55If he comes back this year versus Makai Lemon and, and how underwhelming he was and, and, and, and just reinforce like,
47:02Oh, being all in and trying to trade up, a couple of spots to make sure you can get Carnell Tate and rookie drafts.
47:09That advice is looking as prescient as ever. I mean, I know that's like a six month old told you so, but like so true.
47:17The more I look at this, like Philadelphia team, the more I think, wow, so glad I was zeroing in on Carnell
47:24Tate among the wide receivers in this class. My goodness.
47:27And by the way, another player that I shipped out in that deal.
47:31Remember that I talked about the players we, we, I shipped out in that deal to get Tootin and Jackson dart.
47:38One of the players I sent in addition to McCaffrey and Lamar Jackson was done Davian Wicks because that was very much
47:45a moment in time that we had in dynasty with done Davian Wicks.
47:49He is a, he is a long-term zero. What's next.
47:52Okay. We got a back and forth shootout that started at 10, zero giants were winning then 34 straight points for the
47:59saints and then 17 straight points for the giants.
48:01Wow. Wow. That is amazing. Yeah. Make sure we scroll past the toothpaste ad on ESPN.
48:06Love ESPN. Great. ESPN is helping us out with these box scores.
48:10We can get some box scores on player profile.
48:13We will soon. In the meantime, our, our good friends over at ESPN providing us with box score information and JJ McCarthy comes in and relief.
48:21Was this an injury or just getting pulled because of lack of performance for Jameis Winston?
48:26I'm not a hundred percent on that, but I think I saw Jameis Winston finished the game.
48:31So there must've been some sort of middle of the game injury.
48:35Not a hundred percent though. McCarthy's rising in dynasty, man.
48:38All it takes in super flex is just a little, a little glimpse into some upside 11.6 yards per attempt.
48:45So McCarthy's going to jump up, probably jump up over a guy like Tyson Badgett.
48:49I think they're similar players. Actually. I would trust Badgett more than McCarthy, but McCarthy does have the draft capital.
48:56It's very difficult to build the case for McCarthy, given that he was traded for what a fifth rounder.
49:02I know that we have him below club Nick right now in the dynasty rankings and club Nick was a fourth rounder
49:08and McCarthy was just traded for a fifth rounder and McCarthy is behind Nick's club Nick is not behind a franchise quarterback.
49:15So that was the argument for having McCarthy below club Nick.
49:19But if McCarthy is going to get any kind of traction whatsoever, you got to boost him up.
49:24Malik neighbors, 12 more targets, elite, just an elite, elite, elite player.
49:28You're doing it with all backup quarterbacks. I mean, Bravo, take your hat off to Malik neighbors.
49:33Isaiah likely still continuing the breakout as well. Followed his coach to New York.
49:38And that was a great decision. Wow. Just wow.
49:41Isaiah likely just, he's a receiver. He's, he's getting a full snap share essentially as a receiver.
49:46There's only a couple tight ends that, that have that, right?
49:49If you look at their profiles, look at their advanced profiles, where they're lining up Bowers McBride and likely are the tight
49:56ends that are lining up on the majority of their routes off the line.
50:01And their snap shares are well over 80%. They're like, that's the list.
50:05Okay. That's the list. So typically what happens is you have a guy like Sadiq who's lining up in the slot a
50:12lot or out wide a lot, but his snap shares below 50% or you have a guy who's got a 90% snap
50:18share, but a lot of those snaps are in line and he ends up blocking on a lot of routes.
50:25Best case scenario is what you're seeing with likely McBride and Bowers.
50:28My goodness. And Laporta is in that, but just not quite Laporta.
50:32Kincaid, these guys are not quite in that tier where they're getting the elite down to down usage and running wide receiver routes.
50:39The majority of the time, it's really cool to see.
50:42And Camara is not dead yet. By the way, Camara had another very usable performance, like 13 plus fantasy points, had a
50:49nice big play out of the backfield, catching the ball.
50:52That's what he does. I think he's going to continue to have weeks like this throughout the season.
50:58So he is interesting. He had a back injury.
51:01I think he'll continue to get better and better as the season goes along.
51:05As more time goes by, he can heal that back up.
51:09And as long as he doesn't pick up another injury, I do like the fact that this team throws so much.
51:15The heaviest pass volume team in the league. And that's where Camara thrives.
51:19Camara, seasonal leagues, weekly. He's interesting. He's an interesting guy.
51:23He might be on the plays of the week at some point soon.
51:27What's next? Okay. Here we go. We got a battle of pirates.
51:30Are there? We got a Steelers at bucks and Steelers win this one by a touchdown in overtime.
51:36Wow. Wow. Jeremy Bernard, dude. Jeremy Bernard breakout game, baby.
51:39What do we know about Jeremy Bernard? Jeremy Bernard is a, is a slot receiver.
51:44He's an inside sort of a slot flanker prototype.
51:47He is absolutely not an X receiver. Is that fine?
51:50Yes. Is he a Buka? No, he's not at that level of talent.
51:54I mean, a Buka, what? 16 targets. Got the bare minimum on 16 targets.
51:58Why Jalen Daniels? I mean, throwing for 164 yards with like a 50% completion percentage.
52:03That's exactly what we were signing up for. We knew this would be a week to pivot off of Bucky Irving, even though it was a home game.
52:12The Steelers, man, they're, they're, they're an interesting team.
52:14Their defense is, is improved. Their front seven is, is walling off running backs.
52:19They're making plays when they need to. It was a down week for Jalen Warren, but also very interesting to see Jalen
52:26Warren doubled the carry count over Rico Dowdle, right?
52:28And no other running back had a carry. So that was very interesting.
52:33I know that Pat Friermuth was a popular sleeper.
52:35Whoops. Right. Whoops. DK Metcalf getting 11 catches on 15 targets.
52:39This is a sell high moment for DK Metcalf.
52:42I am not a believer. I'm more of a believer in Jeremy Bernard than I am on in DK Metcalf.
52:48I'm not a big believer on either. I think this is a sell window moment for both these guys.
52:54I think that this entire team is going to get turned over in the next year or two.
52:59And the guy that might, the one guy that's going to still be on the team and producing in a couple of
53:06years, Bernard certainly as a slot receiver or a flanker, but as a number two.
53:11And then also Jalen Warren. I think Jalen Warren is a young 27 and I like him.
53:16I don't agree with trading him for picks right now.
53:19I he's not the type of older running back that I'm trying to trade because he's so dynamic.
53:25And now that they're feeding him as a runner, even with doubtful active getting 14 carries with doubtful active that that's the number one takeaway from this game.
53:34What's next? We got that. This is an upset.
53:37This isn't a surprise or this would be a surprise.
53:40This is the Rams just something like they can't wake up or something this week, man.
53:45They were anemic. Nick. What? Okay. This is a genuine surprise.
53:48Yes, this is. I am genuinely surprised. This is, this is the surprise game on the slate.
53:54I'm sure. I mean, there's no way there's a more surprising game that they lost to the Cardinals.
53:59What? How? Wait, Stafford was 25 of 33. What?
54:02For nothing though. You know, it's in the running backs.
54:05Kyron Williams was not happy after the game. They asked him like, what do you think about the offense?
54:11Not going. He said, I don't know. Don't ask me.
54:14I wasn't out there. And so maybe a little trouble in paradise.
54:18Obviously their season has not started out good. Two and four.
54:21Oh man. No, I did not like that. This was a tough week.
54:25I tried to capture Michael Wilson in monster leagues this week because I knew this would be a tough week.
54:32It's a smothering secondary. The Rams, they just don't allow points to opposing wide receivers.
54:36So this is an unbelievably perfect time to trade for Michael Wilson in fantasy football.
54:41He got the seven targets. You knew he wasn't going to produce against the Rams.
54:46It's going to happen for him. There's no more Marvin Harrison Jr.
54:49It's Kendrick Bourne. Kendrick Bourne. I mean, whenever I watch him, he looks kind of good.
54:54I've always thought that. Kendrick Bourne is one of those tricky, even back when he was on the Patriots.
55:00Always like he was on the 49ers. I'm like, I like Kendrick Bourne.
55:04So I'm a Kendrick Bourne fan. Bam Knight runs hard.
55:08Right? Not a lot of daylight between Bam Knight and Tyler Algiers.
55:11You should look at their talent profiles. One very interesting thing here, and this is for tight end premium dynasty leagues.
55:18Elijah Higgins with the three targets. That's the thing that I think is very interesting.
55:23Elijah Higgins is getting more and more involved. They're using him like the Giants are using Malachi Fields.
55:28That's in a good way though. Right? Malachi Fields is getting like three targets a game.
55:33He's not breaking out. I thought he would. He's not.
55:36Okay. But they're using him like a pumped up power forward wide receiver, not a tight end.
55:42So, because Elijah Higgins is interesting that he is a converted wide receiver.
55:46Like neither, neither Higgins nor McBride are really blocking tight ends.
55:49McBride's better at it than he is, but they don't ask McBride to do that.
55:54And now they're, they're, they're running essentially like a de facto 12 personnel where there's a lot of McBride and a lot of Higgins out there.
56:02And then they have two receivers they can trust in Bourne and Wilson.
56:06And they're like, Hey, it just makes sense. It doesn't look like traditional 12 personnel because there's not two inline tight ends.
56:13But that is essentially the personnel groupings. And they're basically running 11 personnel plays with two tight ends on the field, treating
56:20one of McBride or Higgins as a receiver. It's very interesting.
56:23I have Higgins everywhere. His efficiency numbers is advanced efficiency numbers are terrific.
56:27He's going to end up going somewhere. And because he was trapped behind McBride, he's going to go somewhere and have a productive career.
56:35Probably not in Arizona, but I'm very interested in him and deep tight end premium dynasty leagues stash Higgins.
56:41What's next. Okay. We've got the one that we will spend the least time on.
56:45And that is the Los Angeles chargers and your boy, Mike McDaniel, just not even showing up first.
56:51Casey Casey, like didn't even try in the second half.
56:54I had this pegged as a Kenneth Walker game.
56:57What happened in this game? Was it Kenneth Walker?
57:00Okay. 128 yards and two touchdowns for Kenneth Walker.
57:03Yeah. Kenneth Walker. I had him as like the RB one this week, just because this is the specific game scenario that
57:10he was built for at home against a team that's already giving up on the season.
57:15Xavier worthy. It looks good. He was seven for seven and I captured Xavier worthy somehow in monster leagues against a Buka because a Buka got the touchdown.
57:23That's the only reason I captured Xavier worthy against my daughter.
57:27I'm extremely excited about capturing Xavier worthy and having him on my fantasy team.
57:31I'm going to be playing him. Certainly. I mean, I have Brian Thomas on that team.
57:36So let's just say not, not, it's not a stretch to like, Oh, it'll put in worthy.
57:41It's a tough decision. No, I'm excited about worthy.
57:44No, Rashi rice worthy goes seven for seven. If they needed my homes at all in this game, they didn't even need him right.
57:52Get 30 attempts. They didn't even need that. And a lot of those attempts where they go worthy worthy.
57:58Look at the target share seven out of 30.
58:01That's a high target share. My friend, let's go.
58:03Let's do this. The worthy is the new number one in Kansas city.
58:07And I hope you sold high on Travis Kelsey.
58:10Like we told you to interesting to see Jalen Royals and Cyrus Allen, both getting two catches, but Royals doubling the targets.
58:17So that was interesting too, to see both Royals and Allen getting on the field.
58:22Royals moving up. Remember we had the debate. Cody and I had the big debate Royals versus Torrey Horton.
58:28And what did I tell him? I said, you could, you can argue that Torrey Horton's a better receiver all day and all week and twice on Sunday.
58:36And that's all fine. But what's needed in terms of a JSN injury and a Shahid injury for me to care about Torrey Horton?
58:44Because I don't care about Rashid Shahid now. And Rashid Shahid's the number two.
58:48So what's it going to take for me to care about Torrey Horton?
58:52It's a pretty low bar to care about Jalen Royals in Kansas city, knowing that it's Rashi Rice.
58:58Rashi Rice is rehabbing an injury in jail. And then who plays that position in Kansas city?
59:03His like for like in Kansas city is Jalen Royals.
59:06So Jalen Royals might not be as good as Torrey Horton, but he's going to get opportunities with Patrick Mahomes.
59:13So that was the argument for like dynasty stash.
59:16Who's better. It's looking like Jalen Royals. You look at the dynasty rankings this week.
59:20He's going to probably well ahead of a guy like Torrey Horton and a bunch of other guys, a bunch of other wide receivers.
59:28I don't know about Kendrick Bourne though. I mean, I want Kendrick Bourne, but yeah, he's moving up.
59:33Jalen Royals moving up and there's going to be a convergence of Royals and Allen in dynasty.
59:39You're going to see them probably around. I'm guessing when this all shakes out in the 18 to 20 lifetime value rating
59:46mark in the dynasty rankings, and then let the chips fall.
59:49It'll be a meritocracy with the chargers. I'm seeing Kamani, but all splitting with a Marion Hampton, no Keaton Mitchell, right?
59:56We talked about it. The way that they could actually score points is to drop plays for Keaton Mitchell.
60:02That's really the only way to do it. And they got Keaton Mitchell two touches, two touches for four yards.
60:08Thank you, Mike McDaniel, for continuing to reinforce your incompetence in proving us right again and again and again.
60:14It's an embarrassment. It's an absolute embarrassment because it's not hard.
60:17It's not hard to know. With Trey Harris out, with David Njoku out, with Lad McConkie.
60:22I mean, what happened to Lad McConkie? I'm guessing he left with an injury.
60:27Did he limp off the field? Did Lad McConkie limp off the field?
60:31I'm guessing. Concussion. I think it was the first quarter, but it was definitely first half.
60:36Apologies to Lad McConkie. I didn't see the game.
60:38Maybe it was a vicious hit. I'm sure it was awful.
60:42Whatever happened, I'm sorry that you had a concussion.
60:45And I did not know, but he did leave the field with an injury.
60:49That is a thing that just happened. I don't think it would have changed anything.
60:54The reason I was expecting it to be a lower body injury was because he rushed back from a foot injury.
61:00Because they need him. And so he's letting them talk him into playing.
61:04And he leaves with some injury, whether it be a concussion or aggravation to the foot injury like Alec Pierce suffered.
61:11Or another injury, a hamstring. Whatever it was, I did not expect Lad McConkie to finish that game.
61:17If he didn't leave with a concussion, he would have left with something else.
61:21Because he shouldn't be out there. But this is a desperate organization that doesn't know what kind of plays to call, what kind of personnel they need.
61:29They don't know anything. I feel so bad for Justin Herbert.
61:33A lot of people are blaming Justin Herbert for this.
61:36Justin Herbert's not to blame. Justin Herbert is a victim of circumstance here.
61:40But because he has this well-known girlfriend who is capturing a significant attention share around him, then there's blowback onto him for
61:47that because he's being distracted and he's too interested in getting his picture taken for Instagram.
61:52And he's not focused on football. Nonsense. He's a great quarterback.
61:55He's in the worst possible situation. They are squandering his career.
61:59Shame on them. Shame on everybody in Los Angeles.
62:02This is gross. And I feel bad for Justin Herbert.
62:05I feel bad for Marion Hampton. I feel bad for Kamani Vidal.
62:08I feel bad for Keaton Mitchell. Keaton Mitchell's the one guy.
62:12And a Marion Hampton. But definitely Keaton Mitchell. It is mandatory.
62:15You drop at least five plays for him, given their personnel.
62:19Come on, man. Mike McDaniel. What a joke. Next.
62:22This one was a fun one. We have a high-scoring game.
62:25You called this high-scoring game as well. This was one of the games that we had to focus on.
62:31We have 33-30. Buffalo narrowly beats Las Vegas. One small note from the game.
62:35I saw on the sideline. You were kind of touching on this earlier.
62:39Of the difference between Brock Bowers, the tight end.
62:42And as a tight end would be played in the NFL.
62:46Or Brock Bowers, the wide receiver. So sideline coaches.
62:48And a player who was hurt, I believe. Would hold up 11.
62:52The number 11 personnel. When there was 11 personnel on the field.
62:56But when it was 11 personnel with Bowers on the field.
62:59They would hold up a B sign as well.
63:02So it was 11B. So really what they were doing was putting one of their main cornerbacks on Brock Bowers.
63:08And treating him like a wide out. To try to take him out of the game.
63:13That's how they have to do it. It's 11 personnel in terms of the grouping.
63:18But it's not 11 personnel. Traditional 11 personnel formations.
63:21That's the difference. And I want to look something up briefly.
63:24Just to make sure that we're on the right page here.
63:28Make sure that we have it right. Yep. The matchup play in the plays of the week.
63:33Guess who we touted in plays of the week.
63:36As the matchup play. Again, the plays of the week.
63:39Just to be clear. The plays of the week are mostly sleepers and streamers.
63:44Guys that you can take a shot on. That have upside.
63:47And one of my favorite types of players to stream.
63:50Is a wide receiver in flex. Who has the ability to score on long touchdowns.
63:55And the guy we wrote up was Trey Tucker.
63:58We wrote, Tucker is a de facto wide receiver.
64:00He's over one in Las Vegas. And has generated 412 air yards on 28 targets.
64:05He was only getting five and a half targets per game.
64:09But his vertical deployment gives him the ability to win on deeper routes.
64:13And post chunk plays. That was the analysis of Trey Tucker.
64:16And why I need to play him this week.
64:19So that's a takeaway. That's a takeaway. And also, just like we're seeing in Arizona.
64:24The two tight end sets are being deployed as, as you mentioned.
64:27Traditional 11 personnel plays. Who does that also help?
64:30Michael Mayer. Right? Michael Mayer. It's interesting. Michael Mayer can.
64:33And we've. This is not the first time. Most famously, Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez were both productive in fantasy.
64:39Basically, you have Bowers playing the Aaron Hernandez role.
64:42And you've got Michael Mayer in the Gronk role.
64:45That's what's happening. So that's absolutely interesting. Did Ashen Gentry leave with an injury?
64:49Why did Mike Washington get nine carries? I didn't hear anything.
64:53Did Gentry limp off at any point? I didn't hear or see anything.
64:57But you know that he was. This whole year, he's been hurt.
65:00You know, coming off that high ankle sprain in the preseason.
65:04Was it a high ankle? I heard it wasn't a high ankle sprain.
65:08It was a mid ankle sprain. Wait a second.
65:11They started a prayer circle for him. Just like we moved down Jeremiah Love.
65:15All these guys. Alec Pierce. We were. I mean, we were probably two rounds behind with our Alec Pierce seasonal ranking for 2026 behind consensus.
65:23Because we're like, we're not. We don't want anyone that subscribes to play a profile or drafting injured guys.
65:29And that also went for Ashen Gentry. We're about five spots behind consensus on Gentry.
65:34At least 10 spots behind consensus on Jeremiah Love.
65:36Just for that reason alone. Just for that rule of thumb.
65:40And then. And then. So you're like, yeah. Big surprise.
65:43You know, he wasn't even healthy to start the season.
65:46Yeah. No kidding. Because this is what could happen.
65:49This is the type of performance that could happen.
65:52Where you're like, he was teed up. Right. Didn't he have like 15 fantasy points in the first quarter?
65:58Yeah. He's still. He's still finished. You know, as someone who you would like on your fantasy team.
66:03But just disappeared. You know, you. You just wonder where.
66:06You wonder why they're doing it. If he is hurt.
66:10Why don't just sit him for a couple weeks.
66:12And then get him back full health. Fully. You know.
66:15I don't get it. It's a no win situation in fantasy.
66:19Either you sit him. The team sits him. And then you have to sit him.
66:24Or you have to suffer through this. Drought. Spike week drought.
66:27He hasn't scored 20 fantasy points since week one.
66:30He's been consistent. He was getting in the teens.
66:3310 fantasy points here. 10 fantasy points there. 18 fantasy points.
66:3615 fantasy points. But this is the type of running back that he is.
66:40That's not a one-two turn running back. I hate this.
66:44I hate this box score. I hate it, Justin.
66:46I hate it so much for Gentry. Oh. Keon Coleman.
66:50Is this right? Am I seeing this right? Keon Coleman.
66:5316 fantasy points. Why? Target conservation. The law of the conservation of targets.
66:57This is why you play Keon Coleman. We even wrote him up at the Plays of the Week a couple weeks ago because of this.
67:05This is just, it's just what has to happen.
67:07You have to just close your eyes on a guy like Keon Coleman and play him and sell him where you can.
67:14Just like Dontavian Wicks. Sell him when and where you can in Dynasty before the floor drops out.
67:20So, yeah. I mean, I don't think Gentry was healthy in the second half because even Dylan Lowby got a carry.
67:26So, that's a bit of a giveaway that I don't think Gentry was 100%.
67:31And also, I love, it doesn't matter how we get there.
67:34We just need to get there. I love Kirk Cousins losing because the countdown is on.
67:39I got to see some Fernando Mendoza this year, man.
67:42I want to see Mendoza. So, okay. What's next?
67:45Okay. We have one last one. It was Sunday night game.
67:49Dallas. Just be in Dallas, man. We love to see them lose.
67:52But Jordan Love, he played well like he always does.
67:56This year seems like a real breakout year for him.
67:59He seems like he's really under control even though they have one of the worst offensive lines in the league.
68:05He still goes out there and makes all the plays.
68:08Love to watch him play. What? Did Marshall and Lloyd get hurt?
68:12I don't think so. No, I just think that they just relegated him knowing that they have, what's his name back next week?
68:19Josh Jacobs. Oh, no. Wait, what happened? He wasn't hurt.
68:22Pierre Strong looked good last week. And so I think they just believed in him.
68:27And so, you know, a lot of the third down.
68:30I think Pierre Strong had two third down conversions in the first half on a catch.
68:35It was like third and eight and third and 11 or something.
68:39What is happening here, man? Most weeks. No, most weeks are plays of the week.
68:43The running backs we get right because it's basically just a math problem with running backs.
68:48Matchup versus opportunity share. Likely game script. It's not that hard to pick running backs week in, week out.
68:54It's very difficult to pick fringe wide receivers to start.
68:57And we nailed it with Flournoy and Trey Tucker this week.
69:01Patreon.com slash podfather. That's where you get our plays of the week.
69:05We talked about Flournoy. Flournoy got the touchdown. Seven targets.
69:08Nine targets. Seven catches. Nine targets. CeeDee Lamb, not 100%.
69:11My daughter captured CeeDee Lamb in monster leagues. Oh, my God.
69:14Oh, God. I can't believe this. CeeDee had a weird game too.
69:18Oh, my God. I can't believe she got him.
69:21Golly. She had neighbors going against Lamb. If neighbors outscored Lamb, she captured Lamb.
69:25She's going to kill me. I got. See, this is the thing.
69:29This is classic. I'm somehow winning week in, week out.
69:32And like she's capturing better players. Like one of these weeks, the shoe's going to drop and I'm going to be buried because I'm capturing Xavier Worthy.
69:41She's capturing CeeDee Lamb. And that's just not sustainable.
69:43It's not sustainable. But yeah, Lamb is not 100%.
69:46So and we knew this was going to be a shootout.
69:50We knew it was going to be two passing teams going against each other.
69:54And so you got to you got to play Flournoy.
69:57Boom. It happened. Love that. And look at 13 targets for Matthew Golden.
70:01Only six catches. He is doing the absolute bare minimum with the air yards and targets that he's getting.
70:07So again, please continue to be bullish on Matthew Golden.
70:10But just know that he has been highly inefficient.
70:13I'm sure he dropped a pass in this game.
70:16How many drops did he have? He had a nice touchdown drop about a 40-yard bomb that he went right through his hands.
70:23Okay. I didn't even know. I just assumed that was the case.
70:27That is the Matthew Golden experience. I'm not saying he's Romeo Dobbs.
70:31He's better than Romeo Dobbs. But we've been through this before.
70:34We've been at this movie. Okay. We've watched it in the theater.
70:38We've watched this movie before. Be very careful with Matthew Golden.
70:41I know that Christian Watson had a very strange play that could have been a touchdown.
70:46And probably the strangest non-touchdown, could have been touchdown play of the year.
70:50I want to show that. But I want to come back to the larger point I was making, which is we didn't
70:57cover this because he wasn't in the box score.
71:00But now I'm realizing that we need to talk about, wait, this is the danger of just looking at box scores.
71:07If a player's name isn't in there, you don't even think to mention him.
71:11The player we haven't mentioned because he wasn't in the box score.
71:15And this was an hour ago that we brought up this game was Cam Scadaboo.
71:19What the hell happened to Cam Scadaboo? Was he hurt?
71:22No, there was a report about an hour before kickoff.
71:26It was Jordan Ronan. So that's their New York Giants most trusted reporter.
71:30When he says something, that's one to believe. He said that about an hour before game time that Cam Scadaboo is going
71:37to be relegated and Najee Harris was going to be the starter.
71:40I guess he only played six total snaps and it was in the second half.
71:45But there was a post-game interview where he talked about, oh, something happened and I know they were punishing me for it.
71:52But they asked Harbaugh the same question. He was like, oh, no, we just have four running backs and it's hard to get four running backs touches.
72:00Ask me that question if we should have four running backs.
72:04He was pretty pissed after the game. But yeah, that was, you know, so the tweet came out and said that he's
72:11not going to be the starter and that Najee is going to be the starter.
72:15But they didn't say that he's only going to play five snaps, you know, six snaps.
72:20Okay, because that was a great spot to play Cam Scadaboo.
72:24We talked about this and I'm hoping that everybody got the news that he would be relegated.
72:29My, what? I mean, why? So it had to be something that happened.
72:33If you listen to the press conference after specifically Scadaboo's press conference, he said, like, I know that they were punishing me for something.
72:41And if they wanted to punish me for, like he brought up something happened.
72:45There was an event, but he's, he's been falling out of good graces with them for months now.
72:51Is that true? I remember. Yeah. About a month ago, I would say maybe even right before the preseason, right before the
72:58season started, something happened in practice where Cam Scadaboo, Cam Scadaboo was sliding instead of getting tackled.
73:03And he would do it aggressively at defensive players.
73:06And they were like wanting to like fight them and stuff at practice because it was real push league stuff.
73:12And, uh, Harbaugh even said it in a press conference thereafter.
73:15Like, yeah, like we like that he's so eccentric, but we also have to keep him in a box kind of deal.
73:22So, so there, there've been signs on, on Cam, uh, and him falling out of good graces with the coach.
73:29Um, but, but I think that was an all summer thing too.
73:32I think the backflips on the, on the stage when he's still coming back from injury, that's no, thank you.
73:39I, I, that was one of my stayaways this year.
73:42Well, in the last game he had, he had 13 of the 21 carries in the game before, and they were facing negative game script the entire game.
73:50Right? So, I mean, of course, of course he's only going to put whatever he posted.
73:55He posted like 10 fantasy points, but when you're at home against the saints, that's a game where you need Scadaboo to be in, to produce.
74:04He would have produced more. You can't just add up the fantasy points that Tyrone Tracy scored.
74:09Plus Najee Harris scored. Cam Scadaboo is a better player.
74:12He would have scored more fantasy points. Had he been in there at all?
74:16I had no idea they were going to relegate him.
74:19And obviously no one did until an hour before kickoff.
74:23I still believe Cam Scadaboo is a good player.
74:25He is explosive. He is a great all purpose talent.
74:29They, they actually had a home game against the saints.
74:32I mean, that was the, that if there was a moment a week to play Scadaboo, it would have been week six
74:39and then they relegate him and then you get, and you get a bunch of nothing from Najee Harris.
74:44Hope no one played Najee Harris. Tyrone Tracy has a second life.
74:48I mean, get out of here. Would have been better off playing Roshon Johnson to Najee Harris.
74:54Uh, that that's a banana tailpipe move. Uh, and I just want to apologize to anyone that might've played Cam Scadaboo because of my advice.
75:01I like Scadaboo. And if this is what's happening with Scadaboo, I mean, he's already been, you're right.
75:07He has been dropping in the dynasty rankings. Uh, he's probably injury related though.
75:11Like it's, you know, it seems like it seemed like people still love them out there.
75:16I don't know. I, I have a hard time seeing someone banging their head against the wall and wanting to have that player on my dynasty team.
75:25So, you know, in redraft and when he's out there and he's healthy and he's getting the carries.
75:30Wait, you're, you're saying you, you wouldn't draft or acquire Cam Scadaboo in dynasty because you're worried that he plays too hard.
75:37I'm worried that he does not have care for his own personal wellbeing.
75:41I, I, I, there, there's something with players that do stuff like that, that.
75:46I thought you said he was sliding. So yeah.
75:49So that's, he was sliding against his defensive players in practice.
75:52He, to me, I don't, whatever you could learn something from everyone.
75:56You know, don't judge, don't judge a fish on how it can climb a tree, but I think he's just stupid.
76:02I think he's just a stupid guy. I don't, I don't like the things that he does outside the field.
76:09I don't like what he does in the practice field.
76:12I don't like how he denies that CTE is a real thing.
76:15I just, no thanks on that guy. Uh, uh, I'll, I'll let others draft him and win that's, but I've been right
76:22this year, but you know, whatever, I could be wrong.
76:25Eventually. I just don't love your logic here. I thought that we like players that want to leave it all in the field.
76:33Isn't that a, that, that is the, that is the trait that we're looking for here.
76:38We're not trying to find players that are, are, uh, in self-protection mode when the lights are on.
76:43Yeah. So I agree. There's, there's a happy medium though there, right?
76:47What is the happy medium? How do you measure the happy medium?
76:51I don't agree with what you're saying. Not banging your head against the wall just for fun.
76:56How does, whether or not a guy bangs his head against walls, how does that change how you value that player for his career and dynasty?
77:04These are things you can eat. Some things you can measure.
77:08Some things can't. The things that we look at are efficiency metrics, opportunity share metrics.
77:12Those were all going up. Those were all green lights, blazing green lights, because when dark comes back, suddenly Scadaboo is the
77:19workhorse in a Jackson dart offense with a healthy Malik neighbors and the TD equity goes up and it's on for cam Scadaboo.
77:26Something is happening. I don't think that he's any more injury prone than another guy just because he plays hard and he
77:33has a, you know, he has a little bit of a crazy factor to him.
77:38It's just like, I don't think that George Pickens, George Pickens has an element of crazy.
77:43He brings that to the table, but that's not a reason to fade in because you think he might hurt himself because
77:50he's going to karate kick up an opponent or something like that.
77:54I'm not that concerned about cam Scadaboo getting injured at a higher rate than some other running back.
77:59I am concerned that coaches are just outright relegating him and not giving a reason for it.
78:05And that it's some kind of shrouded in secrecy, uh, sort of scenario that's been playing out or controversy scandal, whatever it is.
78:12It's bizarre. And we have an uncertainty quotient that we apply to players in dynasty.
78:16And so what's going to end up happening is even though on paper, he looks like a bell cow, you want to build around.
78:24And I have, I mean, I drafted cam Scadaboo in at least one dynasty startup during the summer as my RB one
78:31to build around also Chuba Hubbard that team's doing better.
78:34The team where I built around Chuba Hubbard as my RB one is doing a lot better than the team where I
78:41built around cam Scadaboo dynasty lesson right there. Bottom line is there is a lot that we can gain.
78:47If Scadaboo can recapture the starting role, there's a lot of fantasy points to be gained from that.
78:52So I don't think he's going to collapse. He's certainly basically, he is a lesser version of a Marion Hampton right now
78:59where Marion Hampton's losing touches to come on, but all and cam Scadaboo is losing touches to Najee Harris.
79:05So he can't be ahead of Hampton. Okay. He's can't be ahead of tootin at this point.
79:11So then the question is, who would you rather have a guy that's not produced at all this year because of lower
79:17body injuries and terrible team situation in Quinchon Judkins, or would you rather have cam Scadaboo?
79:22I think that's going to be the great debate because these guys are a similar age.
79:27Judkins is like a year and a half younger.
79:30So because Judkins is a year and a half younger, when I'm laying it all out here, I think that Judkins will
79:37be preferred to Scadaboo, but that's going to be the tier that Scadaboo is in.
79:42He's going to be in the Judkins, Brees Hall tier of players because Brees Hall also now has a Braylon Allen problem.
79:49Judkins is going to lose touches to a healthy Dylan Sampson.
79:52Dylan Sampson is a high quality player. Of all the RB twos around the league, Braylon Allen's the best.
79:58Dylan Sampson's one of the best, one of the top RB twos and come on even at all.
80:04Right. And so all these guys like they're, they're the one guy that doesn't have quality RB to touch competition is actually
80:11cam Scadaboo and he's going to get Jackson Dart back.
80:14So if we can just, it's, this might be a blip where he drops into that, that Judkins Hall tier and then
80:21digs himself out as the season goes along. We're going to put that challenge to him, but that's, what's going to happen in dynasty.
80:28And certainly you can't play cam Scadaboo in seasonal leagues and in DFS next week.
80:33We have to, no matter what the coaches say, we have to see it now.
80:37Now it's like a reset button. We have to see him back in a workhorse role for a week before we play him again in fantasy football.
80:46That is just, that is a damn shame. That is a damn shame.
80:50And we're not going to, we're not going to end on that.
80:54I do want to circle back to the Packer game.
80:57Dak Prescott left the game without shaking hands. Dak Prescott has a lot of risk.
81:02Now we have him rated in that Justin Herbert zone in, in, in dynasty.
81:06And we've had him as a top 12 option in seasonal leagues.
81:10I'm a little bit worried. I got to say, I'm a little bit worried what his future is.
81:15I think that week in, week out with those weapons.
81:18And in fact, these are high scoring games. These are the Dallas games always have a 50 plus point total.
81:25Seemingly you're going to keep playing Dak this year, but longer term, I'm starting to have concerns.
81:30Yeah. You just never know which way the Cowboys are going to go.
81:34Right. I mean, they have this George Pickens question and it's not like they're even winning.
81:39And you know, they called themselves a Superbowl team and they're losing every week in the same Dallas Cowboy way.
81:45So, you know, like you said, what's the future look like for a Dak?
81:50You don't know because what's the future look like for the Cowboys?
81:53Oh man. This is, this is bad, man. This is, we don't need to put it.
81:58Do we need to put the video up? I don't think we need to.
82:03Do we need to show the, did everyone see the Christian Watson play?
82:07Should we put it up on the screen? If we play it briefly, you want to play it briefly?
82:13Sure. This is, this is, this is, this is wild.
82:16This is wild to see. I got to see this again.
82:19I saw this once before the show. This was the one thing we prepped that I did take a look at before we started the show.
82:28Look at this play. Oh, that green grass. He gets up, no one touches him.
82:32And so he could have absolutely just taken it in for a touchdown.
82:36In practice, they drill into these players over and over and over again.
82:40You always finish with a touchdown. You always take it to the house, no matter what you see, it's comical how these
82:47wide receivers are just running an extra 40 yards because they must score on every rep that they catch a ball in
82:54practice and they can't be taken down. So they have to take it to the end zone.
82:59It's just part of the culture of the NFL.
83:02Every practice is like this. And it's just weird.
83:05It's like, why did he have to run for no reason?
83:08Try over and over and over again to drill into these players that you must always finish every play until the whistle and no whistle was blown.
83:17Just a bunch of people giving up on the play.
83:20He looks around and you can tell he has that moment of uncertainty and they get, they drill this in practice.
83:27If there is any uncertainty, you just keep running and score a touchdown.
83:31Why he decided to stop. I do not know.
83:33He gave himself up right in that end of the play.
83:37They then blew it dead. Yeah. It's just because everyone else gave themselves up.
83:41He, his instincts took over and got up and started running and they even showed an angle looking at the green Bay sideline.
83:49And there are some coaches like go, go, keep going.
83:52Why did he stop though? It's just, that's that human thing.
83:55When you look around and you see others like doing something and then you just like decide to do what they do.
84:02That's like exactly what happened. That's he, he was, he wanted to go.
84:06His instincts told them to go. And then, oh, no one else is playing.
84:10Okay. I won't either. It's funny. Cost me a fantasy matchup.
84:14No one cares. No one cares. No one cares about your fantasy matchup.
84:18No one cares about my fantasy teams. I think some people might actually care because they're cheering for my daughter to beat me in these monster leagues.
84:26I think that's the one I want to keep coming back to that.
84:30I always mention that because I think there, there are absolutely hate listeners that want me to lose to my daughter.
84:37So I think that, and it's the way she's compiling her roster and, and just, it's, it's just like an arms race of talent, mostly on her side.
84:46I'm losing that arms race every week. Lamb versus worthy.
84:49The most recent example of me losing this arms race.
84:52She's probably going to take me down. I built this lead and she's just, it's now going to be a rabbit in
84:59the hair against the turtle, the tortoise versus the hare who wins.
85:03And it's probably going to be her, but that's the one, I think that's the one real life fantasy team that people
85:09don't mind listening to me talk about and have some intrigue about.
85:13Certainly none of my actual fantasy teams, the staff league, they don't care.
85:17And I, and if there's one thing I know for, for damn sure, Justin is they don't care about your fantasy team.
85:24I think of AJ Brown as having bananas for fingers.
85:27But that's the one thing. And I'll make a mistake.
85:30I mean, for those of us, that are the first one.
85:34That's not a place where you're running, but you have to be a bit busy.
85:39So I know that there's some fantasy teams in the way.
