0:03You think you know a browser, but Gemini and Chrome?
0:06That's new. It can help you with practically anything on the web, like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50-page restoration block,
0:13or finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks.
0:16Gemini and Chrome is here for it. Ready to make anything online make sense?
0:21There's no place like Chrome. Check responses set up required, compatibility and availability varies 18+.
0:25Are all batteries the same? That's like asking if all soccer players are the same.
0:30Take Messi, the most decorated player ever. Is there any other player who has achieved that?
0:35No, just him. Now take Duracell. Is there any other battery with Power Boost ingredients inside?
0:40No, just Duracell. Remember, goats only trust goats, because they're built different.
0:44And Messi only trusts Duracell. What is good. We're back.
0:47And today we are going to talk about some Rebuilders and specifically buys for Rebuilders, right?
0:52So we're going to get into some specific targets here, but we're also going to get into kind of the how and
0:58the why of acquiring these targets when you're in a rebuild situation because you shouldn't always be trading the same.
1:05And the way you go about trading isn't necessarily always the same depending on what you're going to do.
1:11Depending on kind of where you are in your roster construction, right?
1:14And when you're in a rebuild, you probably need to be a bit formulaic about it.
1:19I mean, there's many ways you can get the job done.
1:23I'm sure there's many avenues you can go down.
1:25But generally there's certain buckets that you kind of want to be dipping your hands into if you're in the rebuild pool.
1:32And those are going to be like your picks.
1:35You kind of want to be you want to you want to be getting picks.
1:40Those are safe ascending stars guys on the way up, right?
1:43You want kind of like those lottery youth picks, generally younger guys that could could really accept those are the guys you're
1:50going to be wanting to kind of get a little bit more thrown into trades.
1:54And then you want some deep stashes that could mature into, you know, a bond that you got when you were 10.
2:01And then now you're 25 and you're like, oh, I just got two grand.
2:06Cool. So those are kind of what you what you want to be looking towards.
2:10And obviously, there's some caveats in there, of course.
2:13But, you know, when you hit a tree rebuild or or and just not a retool, there should be buckets that you're selling from as well.
2:21And really, that should be anything that isn't based around youth or picks that I just said.
2:26So these like this is when cornerstones may be time that you might have to touch the cornerstone.
2:32That's typically an asset you don't want to be.
2:35But depending on how bad it is, that might be one of the options you have to start with.
2:41You have to move off of a cornerstone just to replenish some assets and get some stuff.
2:46You want to move off your foundational contenders and how we have those labeled.
2:50Those are going to be labeled guys that were cornerstones, but kind of aged out of the threshold.
2:56So think Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lambs, Amon Ross, St.
2:59Browns, the guys that are like 26 or older, don't hit those cornerstone markers anymore, but have been very good.
3:05Typically, if you're in a full on rebuild, those are the guys that you're going to probably want to be put on the block.
3:12And you even want to throw in the guys that are probably a little bit older that have been building blocks for you.
3:19Those are kind of our money makers value losers.
3:22And they're still guys who have huge impacts on your team and need to win championships.
3:27But guys like Devonta Smith, Tee Higgins, Jalen Waddell, like ETN, Javante Williams, guys whose value probably regardless of how good they
3:34do, the age threshold is coming for them. And they haven't been like elite elite prospects or elite elite players, but they've been very, very productive.
3:42So those guys are going to be the guys that you could start, you know, those are kind of the buckets you're going to be working from.
3:50And then you kind of have a tweener buckets of your Olaves and your Garrett Wilson, guys that aren't super old yet.
3:57Maybe aren't super duper elite either. And those are going to kind of be discretionary of how bad it is and how
4:04much you need the value and what you could kind of get for them.
4:08They should probably be on the block. You don't necessarily have to give those guys away, but generally that's kind of what you're doing.
4:16And then, you know, all the old OGs, those guys you want to try to get the Mike Evans and the Saquon
4:22Barkley's and all those type of guys you still believe in.
4:26And so that's kind of generally, if we're going to bucket category it, which we've been doing a lot more on the
4:33show, kind of the framework of how to buy and sell from a rebuild.
4:37So Shev and Jeremiah both have a couple of players here that we want to target, but we want to go through
4:44those targets then about like a way to go about acquiring them because it's not enough to just go after.
4:50And you want to have targets of guys, but you want to have an idea of how to acquire those guys.
4:56Right, guys? Now, I just talked a lot. They are here.
5:00They're on mics. Shev and Jeremiah are indeed here.
5:03Just in case you just talked a bit much on the intro.
5:06So, Shev, Jeremiah, how are we doing today? Feeling like talking about some rebuilds?
5:11Man, I'm rebuilding it like a transformer. No Studio 54.
5:14No Studio 54. So, well, there's a story there that I'll tell you once we're off camera.
5:19But anyway, yeah, I'm really excited to talk about this.
5:22This is kind of like the theory of trying to work through ranges of players and where you need to really place
5:29most of your assets in a rebuild, like into these buckets.
5:32I like the idea of that because it's simplifying the game theory of rebuilding in Dynasty.
5:37So, I'm really excited to do this. Jeremiah, how are you feeling about this?
5:42Feeling good? Yeah, it's fun because you're seeing a cycle and it's beyond just what's in front of you, beyond a year.
5:48It's two years usually on a rebuild with how hyper we want to quickly turn things around, a three-year rebuild.
5:55You know, people are like, hey, wait a second.
5:57You want to get this turnaround kind of expedient.
6:00So, it's funny. Our definition of a rebuild has changed rapidly with the fact that people are sitting there saying like, wait, wait a second.
6:08In a startup, why don't I take Derek Henry?
6:11In a startup, why don't I take AJ Brown?
6:13Just because you want to scan the item so you can end up winning the ship, taking in money, and then paying
6:20future years rake instead of having to be the rake in year one.
6:24Because, hey, I have to have a certain formula where every player has to be under 25 years of age.
6:30Hit this threshold. Hit these metrics. And then you're in this constant almost there, but in this like blue ball stage of
6:37not quite getting where you want to get because you have to hit all these parameters.
6:42So, this is fun to dive into. Yeah. All right.
6:45Well, let's let you guys have some specific targets.
6:48Let's start with Shev. Why don't you give me one of your targets here that you'd like for a rebuild and who
6:55you're kind of going after if you were in that area?
6:58I'm going to go hardcore parkour Parker Washington. Hmm.
7:01And why Parker Washington here? Because he could be somebody who isn't necessarily proven just yet, but maybe isn't an ascending star
7:08per se, but maybe more in the prove it category.
7:11So, well, why would we? For sure in the prove it category.
7:15Why would we? Why would? What's your thought process there?
7:18Well, we've talked about what the back half of the breakout looked like for him and what that meant to me and what he means to them.
7:26And it's bag season. So, at 24 years old, he's up for his second contract.
7:31And Ellen, the GM, has talked about how they want him to be a part of this organization.
7:36And he's a part of their plans. And you've heard nothing but really, really positive things about him.
7:42And when you watch him play football, it looks awesome.
7:45Hmm. You know, to the point where, you know, I actually, really cool moment for me on the Twitter X.
7:51Like, I tagged Stevie Johnson. He was like, oh, yes, this is, this is a guy that I'll be looking into.
7:58Because I was like, I mean, a lot of the things he was doing look like OG Stevie Johnson back in the day.
8:05If you know who Stevie Johnson is. Of course.
8:08Yeah. Like, I mean, we're all old. So, we know who Stevie Johnson is.
8:12But there's some 23-year-old like, who are you talking about?
8:15That Parker Stevie Johnson is a good. I looked him up on Google and he wasn't even that good.
8:21Stevie Johnson took a minute. Took a minute. But Stevie got there.
8:25But yeah, for me, Parker Washington is the perfect rebuild candidate player.
8:28Because he's a prove it. There's going to be people.
8:31So, it's a lot harder now than it was four months ago.
8:35Because there's been a steady drumbeat of positivity coming out of Duval.
8:39But this is still worth it to me. I'm thinking that, you know, I'm thinking that the last six weeks of the
8:46season where he was basically 17 points a game.
8:48And number one in explosive plays. Number one in passer rating when targeted and all those things.
8:54I think those things lend itself. And so, with a guy that's in the prove it category, you can get, you can
9:01go and you can start to tear down from a, you know, if you're not going to win money this year, you have no business having T.
9:09Higgins or Jalen Waddell or Devonta Smith on your team.
9:12Like, if you're a bottom third roster, you don't need 27-year-old wide receivers.
9:16So, you can go get a plus and get Parker.
9:19Like, you can go sell those guys and get Jalen Waddell for Parker Washington plus.
9:24And that's something that I feel like where Parker Washington could be working his way out of the prove it tier into the ascending stars tier.
9:32Or even if it goes really, really well. We're talking tweeners.
9:35Or if it, like, if we're in the multiverse where he becomes a cornerstone because he's 18 points a game this year,
9:42then you just made out like a bandit because you traded a guy who's a money winner, value loser in T.
9:48Higgins, Devonta Smith, or Jalen Waddell for a guy like Parker Washington.
9:52And you got a plus. So, you've nuked that trade.
9:55So, that's why Parker Washington, for me, currently at wide receiver 41 in our rankings, is the guy that I wanted to lead this off with.
10:03Yeah, the tricky part with Washington is he isn't somebody who is just, like, down in the dumps on value.
10:10There's a market for him. And the market feels like a needle you have to thread.
10:14But if somebody is trying to win, and this is kind of, you know, you need two to tango in these rebuilding situations, right?
10:22You need to have somebody who, you know, hey, I have Parker Washington.
10:26And maybe he could contribute like Devonta Smith will contribute on my team this year.
10:31But I would just rather take the points that I know I'm going to get from Devonta Smith and go with it.
10:37You know, like maybe you could, or you mentioned like a Jalen Waddell potentially.
10:42Like, you know, hey, I would rather take Waddell.
10:44And maybe I can squeeze a two. Maybe I can get Jalen Waddell.
10:49And he's pretty high right now. People like where he's going.
10:52People like the offense. People like what the range of outcomes could be.
10:56Maybe you could squeeze a two out of, you know, you get Waddell for Parker Washington and a two.
11:02So, like you said, you're moving out of that bucket of you're going to get a prove it guy.
11:08But you're using the buckets of, you know, money makers, value losers to go get it.
11:13Like to get somebody like Parker Washington. And when you're trading and rebuilds, you don't want to give away the picks.
11:19You want to be getting the picks, right? You know, you want to build a surplus.
11:24They're highly insurable, right? Their value is typically not going to go down.
11:28They can't get hurt. So, you like all that stuff.
11:31But you are probably going to need to figure out a tear down situation in that of getting somebody who's in a,
11:38you know, like you said, either even, you know, getting a whole lot from tearing down from a foundational cornerstone like the, you know, Lambs and the St.
11:47Browns. And that's probably, you probably get a much bigger haul.
11:50But if you kind of go into that more of a category of those money winner value losers, the Devonta Smith, the
11:57T Higgins, the Jalen Waddells, and you could probably squeeze another, you know, decent pick out on top.
12:02I think it's a great way of going about getting Parker Washington.
12:06Like A.J. Brown right now is a foundational cornerstone or foundational contender, but value down a little bit on him.
12:12Like he's certainly somebody you could probably tear down from get Parker Washington and get a decent amount on top.
12:19You see? You see the vision? Yeah. Are we, Jeremiah, any thoughts on this before we move on to Shiv's next couple of guys?
12:26Oh, I love acquiring somebody like Parker Washington. Just the opportunity, especially on the other side of when he does get his contract extension and there's more clarity.
12:35The cool thing about this in these rebuilders is there's this, you know, remember the meme where it's like, I seen it.
12:41Well, we haven't fully seen it yet, but we can see it being seen.
12:46So the beauty is you buy now and you pay at what will be a depressed price today for a more expensive price tomorrow.
12:53So the price of the brick is going to go up.
12:57That's part of these rebuilding picks, these plays, these players that we have is the fact that we see their stock still rising.
13:04And the belief out there, not everybody is fully bought in.
13:07So if you can be on that trajectory where you see it tomorrow's news today, you know, in fantasy football, if you're not early, you're late.
13:15So what will happen is by the time you've already seen the full breakout from Parker Washington and you're trying to rebuild,
13:22you're going to pay an astronomical price when right now you can still get some viability for a lot of what shovel is talking about.
13:30Yeah. A couple of straight ups that I kind of were looking at there too, is like somebody like a Christian Watson.
13:37Maybe somebody might want to do be close enough that somebody would want to swap.
13:41Maybe they feel more comfortable for whatever reason with Christian Watson or like a Josh Jacobs right now.
13:47I know his value's down a little bit, but Hey, once again, I need somebody who's good.
13:52He's been an RB one pretty much any year he's been on the field.
13:56He's a possibility of maybe somebody who could get you in that ballpark of kind of more straight up situations.
14:03And he's kind of in that like respected OG tier at this point with, with Josh Jacobson, but still only 28.
14:09Right. So he's not super old, but still construction some value off of there.
14:13So Shev you got two more guys here that might be your targets for a rebuild.
14:18Gunnar Helm. And Blake, he is block a quorum.
14:21Let's take the Blake quorum side first, because it's an interesting one because you've been a big proponent of Kyron Williams recently.
14:28And not, not, not, not just say recently, but you've been, you've been sticking up for Kyron.
14:33I'm just saying, you know, so what, what's the angle on, on quorum first of all, and then how do we get them?
14:40So quorum is, is a utility piece because he allows you to ethically tank.
14:45Hmm. He allows you to ethically tank. This is a guy who's going to score six or to six fantasy points a game.
14:52And if you are, if you are in a rebuild, this is a guy who's going to have, who's going, this is year three.
14:59This is year three. Right. Am I mistaken in saying that?
15:03Yeah. 20. Yeah. He's 2024. So he, this is year three.
15:06He's got a four-year contract. You could be looking at him if so.
15:10And if anything happens to Blake quorum, now you've got a guy that's, well, I think we have him in the youth lotto ticket bucket.
15:18You have a guy now that is easily going to outperform and move from the youth lotto ticket.
15:23You hit, you won, you, you hit the lottery.
15:26And if he goes somewhere else, which we assume that he will, Kyron Williams last year signed a three for 33 deal.
15:33If for some reason they move off of him, the front office, Les Snead just does some weird voodoo magic and trades
15:40Kyron Williams for another general, like for a generational defensive player of some sort.
15:44Who knows? Who knows? Or he trades them for a draft pick because they don't have any anymore.
15:50Either way, you want a guy like Blake quorum on your roster because he's going to be really intriguing to almost everyone in your league.
15:57If, if there's a guy who has Kyron Williams and doesn't have Blake quorum, you have a trade partner.
16:03If you have a guy who's looking to like, who's also looking to rebuild and you want to use quorum as a
16:10piece in a trade to try to fill the gap between what you're, what you're wanting and what someone else is asking for.
16:17You can do that. So you, you're not limited by the trade partners.
16:21We talked about that in a previous episode. You're not limited with your selection or your acquisition of Blake quorum in a rebuild with your trade partners.
16:29There's several different moves that you can make with that.
16:33So that's why I'm really interested in Blake quorum RB 34 currently in our, you know, in the crowdsource rankings.
16:39So I, that's why I wanted to bring Blake quorum up because players like that really intrigued me because they do have,
16:46while you don't, it's kind of like Jaden Higgins who Jeremiah, I think is going to talk about, but you're not getting the, you're delayed, not denied.
16:54You, I believe that he's a really good player.
16:57We believe Jaden Higgins is a really good player, but you just have to wait a little bit.
17:02So he falls in the youth lotto ticket bucket.
17:05And, but it's beautiful because if something happens to Karen Williams and on top of that, you have the ability to trade
17:12with like nine or 10 people in your league, potentially, if you want to move, move Blake quorum around.
17:18So that's why I was really intrigued by Blake quorum.
17:21And that's why we're talking about him right now.
17:24Yeah. And quorum, like you mentioned, you know, we've been talking about the buckets for the episode.
17:29We've kind of broken a bunch of values of where people stand and given you almost like not a trade chart, but
17:36like different ideas of, of where people stand and how they are used in a roster construction situation.
17:41And you mentioned youth lotto for quorum right now.
17:44That's kind of where he stands, but he could easily be six man ability of like, you know, somebody who you don't
17:51want to be as a starter, but like you could use them off the bench really quickly.
17:56You saw that in parts of last year. And so he's an interesting one to try to get though, because people do
18:03like him quite a bit and people do hate core or Kyron quite a bit.
18:08Um, so, you know, the, the approach of getting Blake quorum is, is interesting.
18:12Um, I, you know, I think you would have to trade some, some decent aging stars to go get Blake quorum.
18:18So, you know, what would be some ideas of a, of a trade process of guys that you're going to ways to get Blake quorum?
18:26Like you, you probably need to take, you know, guys out of the glue guys and six man territory to go get a youth lotto ticket.
18:34Easily. I mean, Jeremiah hates Chuba Hubbard. So if you could move, you could move Chuba, you could move Chuba and potentially
18:41get like a third back to give Blake quorum.
18:44Like maybe even a second. I don't think so.
18:47I think the mark is pretty down on Chuba Hubbard right now.
18:50So being consistently excited about, um, quorum. So how about, uh, DK Metcalf?
18:54Yeah. DK, somebody who I have down there for sure, a little older.
18:58Um, I think people would still be interested in him enough values down, uh, right now.
19:03So, you know, we, sometimes in our crowdsource rankings, they're like right next to each other.
19:08They're kind of, they've kind of been all over the place.
19:12Um, you know, right now you probably have DK could certainly be, he's in our glue guy category.
19:17So, um, certainly has plenty of start ability left to him.
19:21Could be in the six man, I guess for some people.
19:24Uh, but I think that would be kind of the range of player that you would need to be dealing with to
19:31go get, um, somebody like a Blake quorum off of your team.
19:34And if you're rebuilding, then, then you're fine with that.
19:38Like Michael Pittman would just happen to be his running mate right now in Pittsburgh.
19:42Um, but, but Michael Pittman would probably be somebody else in that range where, Hey, there's still value on the player.
19:49He's still really good in the lineup. Maybe the player who has quorum needs to fill out their six man or glue
19:56guy role on their team and would have rather have those points consistently in their lineup to get them.
20:01That's going to be what it kind of takes to, to put somebody like a, a, a, a Kyron or a quorum
20:08rather on a, on a rebuilder here. I think.
20:11Hey, how about, uh, if you target the Josh Allen manager and you have depth at tight end and you want to
20:18sell Dalton Kincaid, you get a plus with quorum for selling.
20:21You could sell the premium of the tight end setting and the viability of the stack share for that Josh Allen person
20:28and see if they go for it. Especially if that person has some running back depth, then you're looking at an opportunity
20:35to pry late quorum off their hands while you have depth at the tight end position.
20:40So that's a little bit of a cross positional trade that you could pull off there.
20:45Yeah. I mean, you got guys like, you know, Brenton strange and maybe Chig Akonkwo who could potentially, you know, drum up some business for, for quorum.
20:53If you want to go tight ends sort of, um, strange is an interesting one that you just got paid.
20:59Chig's got new life somewhere. If you believe in him, maybe you don't want to do that, but maybe he got new
21:06life somewhere and you could go scoop somebody like quorum there.
21:09Those are, those are coming out of your, your glue, your six man trying to acquire a youth lotto ticket.
21:16There's probably some youth lotto tickets that you could sell or some, uh, veteran lotto tickets that you could sell to try to get Blake quorum.
21:24Like, you know, somebody who likes Chris Rodriguez, maybe you could trade him for Blake quorum, right?
21:29Maybe they say that, see that as similar, but maybe somebody who believes in him and doesn't believe in tootin.
21:35Like we just kind of talked about would be like, Hey, what's it going to take to get, can I give Chris
21:42Rodriguez and something else to get quorum off your team?
21:45You know, taking a guy off the veteran lottery ticket pile and going for the youth lottery ticket pile.
21:51Maybe you got to add a little something extra in there.
21:54I mean, that's that. Yeah, that's kind of what that's the, that's the goal to get younger, to give yourself more time
22:01for one of these, one of these younger guys to it's found money.
22:05So if you get there, if he gets there faster than what you, you know, what the, the two year rebuild kind
22:12of calls for, then you just ahead of schedule and you win money for two.
22:17Years instead of waiting until the end of the second year to say, all right, my it's Bruce.
22:22He's time to shine now. All right. You got one more.
22:26You mentioned Gunnar Helm sort of a lower level player at this point, but we all like him as a, as a youth lotto ticket as well.
22:34So what's your approach there with, with Helm? Why do you like him?
22:38Cause I think he he's a, he's a favorite target of mine as well as kind of that, that lower end stash
22:45up upper end youth lottery ticket kind of deal.
22:48So, uh, so why, why do you, why are you targeting him?
22:51And then, and then just a couple examples and we'll move on to Jeremiah's, uh, cluster of fellows.
22:57Well, I mean, it's just, it's, it's one of the worst offenses in the league that has quietly been overhauled.
23:03And, you know, they brought in, they got rid of, you know, Chigakonk was now Washington commander, uh, thoughts and prayers with him on his new journey, whatever.
23:12But now it's Gunnar Helm's time to shine. And right now at Titan 19, excuse me, you have a lot of people
23:18that are really excited about Gunnar Helm. So, but there's a, there's quite a few people who just have him on the back end of the roster.
23:27Who's not, who aren't really tapped in, who aren't really seeing what could potentially be going on with the Titans in terms of having viable pass catchers.
23:35And with Helm in a full-time role, it just means to me, like, this is where you could move around.
23:41Like if you, if you wanted to go, if you wanted to go, look, if I wanted to move off of Kyle
23:48Monunga, cause I'm just D like, because I have no use for Kyle Monunga and Titan premium.
23:53Uh, you could go get Gunnar Helm and potentially like two thirds or a second.
23:58I think, I think you should be able to get a second and, and, and Helm pretty easily there in Titan.
24:05Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And, and that's a move that I would, that's a move that I could make just because I, again,
24:11if I'm rebuilding, Kyle Monunga is going to have more value.
24:15He's going to score more fantasy points as a top 30 running back.
24:19And I want to make my pick and acquire as many picks as possible so that I can give myself more at
24:26bats to try to get this thing back in the, back in the right order.
24:30So that's something that kind of sticks out to me.
24:33You could also, sorry, my contacts are acting up.
24:36That's why I'm sorry. That's why I'm blanking so much right now.
24:40But somebody in the room with you right now.
24:43Yeah. I think twice if you're in danger. My, my body rejected, rejected the idea of trying to sell Kyle Monunga that hard, but at any rate, yeah.
24:51I mean, same thing. His teammate, his teammate, Tony Pollard.
24:54If you got Tony Pollard on your team. Okay.
24:57You need to jettison him off to do whatever you can to get a guy like Gunnar Helm, to get a guy,
25:04you know, to get a guy like Blake Corum onto your roster.
25:08Because Tony Pollard's not going to do anything for you.
25:11He's not going to do anything in a rebuild.
25:14Like what, what, what are we hoping for? So those are just, those are two names that I'm thinking of in terms
25:20of, Hey, what can I do to get again, get younger and get an asset that's going to ascend at the position.
25:27And he's in a full-time role now. Like he was, he flashed.
25:31You saw a little bit in just what, one of the most putrid offensive environments known to mankind.
25:36And I saw somebody say it was the worst skill position group that they had seen in like the last five or six years.
25:44And it's not really an exaggeration to be honest with you.
25:47So it's like up there with Bryce Young's rookie year Panthers.
25:51So for me, I think that moving around, moving around in that lotto ticket area to get guys that could ascend that nobody's really, nobody.
25:58It's like, Hey, I like him. So if you got him already, I like him.
26:03I'm not trying to move off, but Oh, if I could have points in my lineup and I need some points in
26:10my lineup and I need a worthwhile flex and common on guys sitting there on your roster or, or really Tony Pollard more so or Mondra Stevenson.
26:18Those guys are the guys that you probably need to move more than common on that.
26:23Yeah. I just saw top of this and I got a little, I got a little too excited.
26:29Joe, the idiot circus boy took over a pretty new bet.
26:32Yeah, no, those, those, those are, those are good calls.
26:35Monunga was, was coming, coming off the top rope hop, but I like it.
26:40Um, and you know, how somebody like Helms difficult to trade for like straight up because it's like, he's somebody who you're
26:46typically going to be trying to fill in sort of as like a, like a kicker in trades to just build a
26:53little bit more on the back end and get them.
26:56But Hey, you know, when you're, if you're trading somebody like a Monunga for a helm and getting a pick, then, you
27:03know, you definitely want to be trying to throw more stashes sort of in that trade as well.
27:09Um, on the back end of, you know, just kind of getting, you know, see if I, Hey, can I get, can
27:15I also get a, a manner as well as the pick?
27:19And, you know, obviously there are two Titans there, but you know what I mean?
27:24Like we go to the stash category, you look down at and say, Hey, what can I do for, uh, that?
27:30Can I get, can I get a, can I get a, you know, a Pat Bryant, you know, in that, in that deal as well.
27:38Or a, or a Keishon Boutte or, you know, a backup handcuff running back or like a Tank Bigsby.
27:44I get those guys thrown in on the back end.
27:47Um, if I'm, you know, I'm giving up Monunga and getting a gun or helm and a pick or something, you know, just try to back end.
27:55Any, any thoughts here, Jeremiah, before we move on to your guys?

28:57I like what you've been saying about Blake Quorum.
28:59Like, he's really it, man. These are good buys, man.
29:03These are good rebuilding buys. Great rebuilding buys. All right.
29:06Jeremiah. Jeremiah. The most tremendous rebuilding buys. Nobody's had better.
29:09Nobody's had better rebuilding buys than me. Jeremiah, you've got some guys here that you're going to target in a rebuild.
29:15Give us the list here of a couple of targets that you would be interested in targeting in a rebuild here.
29:22Yeah. And because Shev can't say it, I'm going to say it.
29:25It's Cam Ward. I want him. He's just a perfect player to go for 24 years of age.
29:31If you have a down year, he's still going to be there.
29:35I think there's going to be a year two breakout.
29:38And by year three, if you still have him, he's ascending and building on your team.
29:43He's the exact player that you want because you haven't quite seen it yet.
29:47And we believe it's going to happen. You don't have to pay the full inflated price right now.
29:53So he goes about mid QB to about QB 18 in that patch of somebody like a Jared Goff.
29:59So you have a guy who's much older and then somebody who's about to get things going in Cam Ward.
30:05You have all the buy-in with Brian Dayball with Wondell Robinson coming in.
30:09Carnell Tate, we love him. I have Carnell Tate as my wide receiver nine overall.
30:13And it's aggressive, but I see things going. And then Chameer Dike, Alec A.
30:18Manor, they're better than people think. And funny enough, to what Shev was talking about with Gunnar Helm, the undercurrent players are helping push Cam Ward.
30:26People don't realize. I think they think it's just very top-heavy.
30:29It's just Cam Ward and nobody else. I see a lot of things happening right systematically for Cam Ward.
30:35So who do you think I could sell him for?
30:38Well, there's A.J. Brown. He goes ahead of Cam Ward in startup.
30:42So there's A.J. Brown being a foundational contender. If you're trying to swipe the credit card right now and win, A.J.
30:48Brown, a one-for-one deal there would absolutely do it.
30:51Because if I have Drake May and I'm contending and I don't quite believe Foley and Cam Ward ascending and I can go get A.J.
30:59Brown, we're going to get a dead cat bounce season from A.J.
31:03Brown. So I think that's a viable trade partner out there.
31:06And, of course, you're trading age for the younger player.
31:09But there's some people out there who are like, well, there's people who are just complete haters, faders and doubters on Cam Ward.
31:16And a lot of them really don't watch football.
31:19They watch box scores. So that's something that you need to take advantage of.
31:23I talked on another show. I'm down on Javante Williams.
31:26Yeah. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. No, go ahead.
31:30Oh, the other two. Javante Williams. Okay. I would just fire off.
31:33Yeah. So Javante, so running back wise, Javante and E.T., was that what he said?
31:38Yep. Yep. They're money winners. Yep. Yep. You know, Ward is an interesting one.
31:42He could be in a prove it tier. He could be in an ascending star tier kind of in between there somewhere.
31:49We talked about it on the show. I think we ended up with him in the ascending stars category with Shev's guidance.
31:56Um, but you know, he's, he's somebody, you mentioned a couple of guys who, who maybe you could get straight up when
32:03you're going super flex, um, difficult to get. He, he's going to be somebody who is an interesting player to try to target here.
32:10It's to me, it's, it's most likely a quarterback tier down scenario is going to be the easiest acquisition of like somebody like a cam ward.
32:18Right. So, you know, obviously guys like Baker, Dak golf, those guys are kind of around the same area, but somebody may
32:25be more just kind of what we were talking about with, um, who was it?
32:30Was it quorum or was it, um, maybe it was Parker Washington.
32:33They're like, Hey, these guys might be in the same area as kind of value ish.
32:38Um, but somebody's I'm a contender. You're a rebuilder.
32:41I want the security of golf or Baker or Dak and I'll, I'll trade away my cam ward.
32:47I don't know how much you would get on top of that.
32:50If you're going QBs because of kind of where they are, you might be able to sprinkle something in there, but then
32:57the next tier up I think is, is, is interesting of like, Hey, I want to tear down from like a Knicks
33:04or a, or a Trevor or a purdy. And I don't, I don't know that necessarily anybody wants to do that.
33:10Cause they're kind of in that tweener category. Um, but you could certainly get a lot on top of that if you
33:17wanted to reset the clock on any of those guys.
33:20Um, but I like some of the points that you brought up as far as some straight up guys that are kind of in that area.
33:28Um, but for me, it would, I'd be aiming at cam ward of like a tear down or, or a get off,
33:35reset the clock on some of those older, um, quarterbacks.
33:38Like, like I mentioned in that tier, like the Dax and whatnot.
33:42So I like the cam ward. I like he, I feel like he's just a little bit of a trick.
33:48You want to get sometimes, but there are certainly some haters out there and maybe, maybe we're hanging out with the pro cam ward crowd.
33:56Uh, there certainly is. I traded cam ward away and tight end premium straight up for Tucker craft, uh, a couple months ago.
34:03So that was, you know, went the opposite way there.
34:06Well, I actually, I think you can get cross positional because I think there's people who, you know, about two rounds sooner,
34:13you can get trade me on Henderson. And if you want to offload, what's the most expensive time to, or the cheapest
34:20time to get a quarterback in super flex settings as in the startup or in the rookie draft.
34:25Well, to acquire, I think you could dangle out somebody like Travion Henderson and maybe get something on top of cam ward
34:32because there's such a hive for Travion Henderson. People believe he's going to be the next Jameer Gibbs.
34:38So there's an ascending star versus a prove it player.
34:41And funny enough, I think some people might have Travion Henderson in the prove it category.
34:46We've got them in the ascending star. So if you can dangle, maybe there's six people in your league who are very high on somebody like Travion Henderson.
34:54I think you can take advantage. And this wouldn't be an age for age rebuild because if you believe Henderson gets there,
35:01but if you're really looking for a quarterback, who's going to make that next jump, that would be one that you can
35:08take advantage of the market and get a plus, in my opinion, with cam ward.
35:13So if you're trying to get a pick acquisition, all things being equal age, you're going to get cam ward and you're
35:19going to add in a pick there. I think that would be a good way to go.
35:25Yeah, probably a good value pick. So different, a little bit different way to approach kind of rebuild.
35:30If you're maybe not as convinced of a high value player and you want to kind of swap out for, you know, tear down and get something else.
35:39All right, give me your last two players here for your rebuild targets.
35:43It's going to be Jaden Higgins and he is in the prove it category.
35:47I'm going to slide over to the moneymaking OGs, guys like George Kittle, Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, Devontae Adams.
35:53All those players just offer, especially garnering help for George Kittle, are just going to be automatic 10 to 15 touchdown candidates.
36:00You can see a bullish outcome, red zone hogs, target hogs and high octane offenses, the Rams, the commanders and the San Francisco 49ers.
36:07And then, of course, there's George Kittle there, too.
36:10So there's two 49ers in there. And Jaden Higgins has not proven it quite yet.
36:15He hasn't put it together week over week. The beauty about this is we talked on another show how high things could
36:22run out in 2026 for David Montgomery. And I still think you're not going to have to pay such a high price for Jaden Higgins.
36:29So I think it's one of those things where, you know, you're at the grocery store, you're scanning, you're scanning.
36:36And one item doesn't scan, but it goes past and it falls into the bag.
36:40And you're like, oh, what's going to happen? I feel like you can sneak in some Jaden Higgins before people catch on,
36:47because I think you're going to have to wait another year for him.
36:51And he's still young enough to where when he goes into year three and maybe things shift around for that offense, you're
36:58going to have a player who's still in the NFL.
37:01Whereas Mike Evans, Devante Adams surely could retire. George Kittle, we don't know about help.
37:06Terry McLaurin, we still think is going to be around.
37:09But they're all on that age 30 side. So that's where I would want to pivot off.
37:14And I think sneakily, easily, you can get somebody like Jaden Higgins, who's still a prove it player, young enough and rebuild.
37:21Yeah, I think, you know, even if you had to add some, you know, veteran lottery tickets to the back half of
37:27those older OG players to try to get somebody like Higgins.
37:31I got a couple of trades here. DJ Moore for Higgins was something that I saw straight up go down.
37:37I would love I have absolutely no problem doing that.
37:40It's kind of following the same sentiment that you had right there with those older players.
37:45I saw a Devante Smith for Higgins and Omar Cooper.
37:48I think that's a great rebuild trade right there.
37:51So, you know, get rid of one of those money making value losing players in Devante Smith.
37:56And you get somebody like Higgins and Cooper, you know, ascending players, lottery tickets, kind of, you know, fun, fun stabs there.
38:03I like that a lot. And then I saw a Jalen Warren straight up for Higgins.
38:08I didn't know if that was a possibility, but I feel like you could probably add some stashes and or, you know,
38:15veteran lottery tickets on the back of Warren and upgrade to Higgins if you wanted there.
38:20So those are some interesting trades. I saw like then a big tear down from Nico to Higgins.
38:25Maybe the exact trade was like Nico Higgins and Travis Hunter, which I don't want the Travis Hunter side.
38:31But hey, if you're saying I could get Higgins a second and then I get a couple of youth lottery tickets in there to tear down.
38:39I don't that's not necessarily like a great trade per se, but like I like the idea of that trade.
38:45Hey, we're tearing off of an older foundational contender.
38:48We're getting a potential prove it guy ascending star.
38:51Maybe we could get another prove it guy in there or a couple of picks and then some lottery tickets and some stashes.
38:58So I like all that with with Higgins there.
39:01Did you have another player or chef? Did you want to you want to get in here at all?
39:07Are you you good? Well, I mean, we were all just talking about guys that we really, really like.
39:13I don't have to jump in. I don't have to jump in when y'all are cooking.
39:18Hey, I'm just sitting at the table waiting to eat.
39:21Yeah, no, I just wanted to make sure you were.
39:24Hey, looks like an inclusionary podcast here. We don't.
39:27Of course. Hey, we want we want everybody. We want everybody to feel the love when it comes to Jaden Higgins.
39:33And I, for one, appreciate this a great deal.
39:36So so be able to move around, be able to move around.
39:40He's not a youth. I want to put him in the prove it category like I like.
39:45It's a youth lotto ticket, but I just feel like this is I feel like this is one of those things that
39:52we look back and it's, you know, hey, how did we miss Jaden Higgins?
39:56Just becoming a superstar right before our eyes. So I with with the guys that we're talking about this episode, I just
40:03feel like it's like, well, we need to get in right now because the price point is going to be much more expensive than it is.
40:11And you want to have those types of guys on your roster.
40:15Again, I want people to want I want all 12 teams to have to want players on my roster if I'm I'm rebuilding.
40:22But yeah, Jaden Higgins is in in my prove it tier.
40:25So I like that. Jeremiah hit us with your last thought process of some rebuild action.
40:30Meta effective tactics would be the entirety of the Browns because they're all youthful and they're all attainable.
40:36There's a dent in the can even down to Harold Fannin Jr.
40:39People are going to ship bricks when you say, well, I want a 27 mid first.
40:44I want a late 27 first. That might warm up a little bit, but people are starting to say, oh, well, wait a bit.
40:52The targets could be down for Harold Fannin Jr.
40:54In year two. And then there's Quinchon Junkins. The cycle of all these young core skill position players, Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston,
41:01is all going to be cycled towards, hey, you get a quarterback and you're on the other side.
41:07They're all youth and on rookie contracts. So it's more of a play for the Browns.
41:12But I want to highlight Denzel Boston. I think Denzel Boston, let's take an A.J.
41:16Brown and tear down. Denzel Boston buried. Why not Denzel Boston in a 27 second off of A.J.
41:22Take advantage of that hype for the win now team.
41:25And then the money making OGs. Same thing. You can just turn around with the Mike Evans and the Lawrence, the Adams.
41:32You can sell and tear down, add a pick for Denzel Boston because you can just dangle.
41:37Well, you know, I'm not so sure about Denzel Boston.
41:40He's buried in Cleveland there. The quarterback position isn't so great.
41:44So that'd just be another player that you can get there.
41:47Denzel Boston is still a prove it player. And I think Browns overall are people that you want to rebuild around.
41:54And I know, Casey, you and I have talked about Denzel Boston.
41:57I push him up in my rankings. You've always been high on Denzel Boston.
42:02So I'd be curious. What are your thoughts, Casey, on Denzel Boston as a player to acquire in a rebuild?
42:08Well, generally, I like just the thought process of kind of I think you called the meta look.
42:13This is this is, you know, the generally this is a thought process that I really like to go with in a rebuild.
42:21And like instead of even going with like, hey, trade these guys for this guy, which Boston is Boston Concepcion fanning Judkins
42:27and any that I can get my hand on.
42:30And, you know, using glue guys and six mans and OGs, I think are fine to try to get these kind of
42:37guys like the, you know, if you want to get rid of, you know, hey, Jordan Addison and whatever and try to go get those guys.
42:45Or, you know, we got a whole list of six man and glue guys over on the website of, you know, different
42:52guys you could pull from those buckets to try to add together and go get those guys or maybe even one for one of them in certain aspects.
43:00But generally, when you're when we've talked about this on other episodes recently, nobody thinks that the Browns are ever going to turn it around.
43:08And so there's very disinterested in a lot of what's going on with the Cleveland Browns.
43:13Now, Harold Fanning made a lot of people excited last year.
43:17But look, nobody was excited in the rookie drafts.
43:19Go back and look at the boards. I just been kind of going back and look at him and I'll even look
43:26at him and go, ooh, miss there. Even though I liked Fanning, I wasn't drafting him like he should have been being drafted.
43:33Right. Even though we were really high on him, I certainly missed as far as plenty of opportunities to grab him in
43:40the spots where I didn't end up grabbing him.
43:43So I just I like the outlook of a we don't everything's got anything's going to change.
43:48And we just over time, we have seen these terrible franchises kind of get, you know, the Jets are kind of one
43:55right now that we haven't quite seen get there.
43:58But I think they might be actually low key.
44:00Maybe I think they made some good moves. And I think the Browns have made some really, really solid moves organizationally signaling
44:07like, hey, things might be a little different here.
44:10And all of a sudden, nobody wants anything in somewhere until they do.
44:14And to be able to acquire Boston and Casey and Fanning and whoever else from the Cleveland Browns, I think where they're
44:21heading is is in a good spot. We just got to figure out the quarterback.
44:25And I know that's been the bugaboo in Cleveland for a very, very long time.
44:30But. I do think that that potentially tides are turning there of kind of what's going on and that that's kind of there.
44:37You want to be risk averse in. Rebuilding, you know, obviously, at least till you get to a certain point and then
44:44you can kind of turn it back into a I'm OK with losing value and trades.
44:49Right. But adding those guys, they're still high value guys.
44:52Right. So, like, I don't think they're not going to go to zero by any means.
44:57They might dip down a little bit before they peak back up.
45:01But like generally, like just Jacksonville, I think is the is the one I go to a lot right now just because
45:08everybody thought Jacksonville was just the worst. Nobody like Trevor ecosystem, yada, yada.
45:12Nobody. I don't want to use Jacksonville. I don't want anything to do with those guys.
45:17You know what I mean? Until until they do.
45:19Right. Until they do. And, you know, maybe Shev's Titans are going to be there.
45:24You know, one of those teams kind of this year.
45:27Maybe, you know, the Bucks have done it. The Lions.
45:30I mean, Jesus, the Lions were so bad for so long.
45:34Right. The Bears. Only crazy until it happened. Right.
45:36The Bears were. Caleb Williams was not the guy until last year.
45:40And now everybody, you know what I mean? So it's not until it is.
45:44And so I think that's, you know, a good way to end your last sort of rebuild positioning is like in that regard.
45:52I don't even necessarily care about the how to get.
45:55It's like just the thought process of using that, of just zigging when other people are zagging.
46:00You know? You always say it's arbitrage. Like you've got to run.
46:04You've got to run. You've got to run counterintuitive to what everyone else is doing.
46:08Just because like you, you can't just everybody can't be out on the Browns and you still feel like and you feel
46:15good about being out on the Browns. Yeah. It's just responsible, quote unquote, portfolio.
46:19I know I have to drink, J-Dub. Don't do this to me.
46:23But it's good portfolio management to have some Casey Concepcion, to have enough Harold Fannin to choke, you know, to choke a small elephant.
46:30Choke a donkey. Yeah. Could have choked them. I get that one.
46:34I just took. And then to get, you know, to have some Denzel Boston, because here's the thing.
46:40If the skill players are good enough, then the quarterback doesn't have to be a sniper.
46:45Nobody thought Brock Purdy was a world beater until he went out and did it over and over and over again.
46:51Some people still have people that think he's just regular as hell.
46:55It's just, it's the Avengers and they're ran their stones.
46:58It's the dumbest. It's the dumbest. What if Mac Jones is a Cleveland Brown next year?
47:03Yeah. Yeah. You know? Now everybody, now everybody's pants are off.
47:06Oh, I love Casey Concepcion. Right. Right. So now I like it.
47:10I think it's a great way to end this episode.
47:13If you made it this far, go down the link in the description.
47:17We're running a five-star contest. Go over. It'll take you over to the website.
