Aaron Rodgers

NegativeRole8:22

Jets quarterback; the source discusses the possibility of the Jets going quarterback at pick six, noting that while Rodgers is playing really good and coming off another good week, the source doesn't love going quarterback at six from a draft value standpoint, though the tools are there.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeDepth Chart39:03

The source expresses strong conviction that Brian Thomas Jr. will not be on Jacksonville's roster next year, suggesting a trade is inevitable.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveRole21:25

The source suggests Bowers could be used more creatively in the Eagles offense if they add an X wide receiver like Nick Marsh, implying current role constraints.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

NegativeRole7:08

Texans quarterback who has been playing well for the most part; the source frames offensive line investment as a way to build around Stroud and create the best possible situation for him moving forward.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveProjection5:04

The source notes Caleb Douglas is playing good ball and remains in consideration for the Dolphins' draft strategy.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveProjection5:04

The source remains bullish on Chris Bell as a prospect despite the Dolphins' quarterback priority at pick three.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

PositiveUsage56:30

Cyrus Allen is a playmaker every time he's on the field for the Chiefs; while somewhat redundant with Rasheed Rice once Rice returns, Allen's production warrants consistent playing time in the offense.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

NegativeUsage37:17

Dak Prescott is noted as carrying a heavy offensive load for the Dallas Cowboys, with the source describing him as a regular betting target for pass attempts. The rationale for adding Jaden Ball is to reduce pressure on Prescott as he ages, suggesting the team may shift toward a more run-game-dependent offense.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveRole24:34

Playing great for Cleveland Browns; source cites his strong performance alongside Casey Concepcion as reason to deprioritize wide receiver in the draft despite it being listed as a team need.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeRole22:15

The source expresses concern about Deshaun Watson's contract situation with the Browns, noting the deal has become worse; the source is skeptical about Watson's commitment given he is playing well now that his deal is expiring, suggesting uncertainty about the team's quarterback future.

Insight page

Drew Allar

NegativeProjection43:22

Source references Pittsburgh's draft of Drew Aller last year as context for why McCarthy might take a more conservative quarterback approach this year; notes that between Aller and Lenora Sellers, one of them has to develop into a productive player.

Insight page

Elijah Sarratt

NegativeDepth Chart28:50

Elijah Surratt is a capable football player for the Ravens, but the source prefers Nick Marsh as a better version of Surratt and believes Marsh offers greater value in the first round, suggesting Surratt should not be the Ravens' first-round pick.

Insight page

Fernando Mendoza

PositiveProjection20:48

Source indicates Raiders want to build around him as much as possible, suggesting he is a foundational piece for the franchise's offensive future.

Insight page
PositiveRole20:55

The source indicates the team wants to build around Mendoza as much as possible, suggesting he is a foundational piece for their offensive plans.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveRole8:08

Jets wide receiver; the source remains a big Garrett Wilson guy, suggesting continued confidence in the player despite the team's draft considerations at pick six.

Insight page
NegativeRole9:39

With the Jets adding multiple offensive weapons (Omar Cooper Jr., Charlie Becker, Mason Taylor), Garrett Wilson is now positioned as the third wheel in the offense; the source also expresses concern that Wilson may grow tired of playing for a losing team.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeRole37:37

George Pickens' situation is referenced as a potential catalyst for the Dallas Cowboys' offensive evolution toward a more run-game-dependent approach. The source suggests that depending on what happens with Pickens, adding a running back like Jaden Ball becomes a natural fit for the offense's direction.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

PositiveProjection57:11

J.J. McCarthy showed promise in recent games, displaying something positive in the fourth quarter of the previous week and in the most recent week, suggesting upside as a young quarterback the Vikings could develop.

Insight page

Jackson Harris

PositiveRole21:50

The source notes Jackson Harris from LSU has been playing well and is part of the strong day-two receiver group available for teams like the Eagles.

Insight page

Jalen Williams

PositiveRole6:48

Jalen Williams is a natural athlete who moves well in wide zone blocking schemes; the source prefers him over Trevor Goosby for the Falcons' first-round tackle need and likes the fit for Atlanta, noting the timetable could work to bring him along slowly.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveRole53:17

Drafting Deuce Alexander in the mock solidifies Keon Coleman as the Bills' outside receiver; the source views Coleman's role as secured with Alexander joining Shakir and TJ Moore in the receiving corps, and notes Coleman's speed plus Josh Allen's arm as a strong combination.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeMatchup28:59

Lamar Jackson is currently sidelined; Tyler Huntley is starting for the Ravens, which is affecting the offensive production. The source notes that if Lamar returns, a balanced running back room with a power back like Jalen Ball could unlock more offensive potential.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup39:34

Lamar Jackson was absent in Cincinnati's recent game against Baltimore, which the source notes helped Cincinnati's offensive performance in their 20-17 win.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeRole4:27

Willis is under contract with the Miami Dolphins for another year and can serve as a bridge quarterback if needed, allowing the team to develop Drew Mestermaker long-term.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

PositiveUsage10:06

Mason Taylor came off a two-touchdown weekend and the source has always been a big fan of him coming out of LSU, having seen him at the senior bowl; he's part of a loaded Jets offense.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeRole22:00

The source uses Michael Pittman as a comp for the tier of day-two receivers available for the Eagles, suggesting similar caliber options exist.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveBreakout8:08

Prospect the source is impressed with; described as turning out well, suggesting positive development or performance trajectory.

Insight page
PositiveRole10:00

Omar Cooper Jr. is part of a loaded Jets offensive arsenal alongside Charlie Becker and Garrett Wilson, creating a deep receiving corps that suddenly makes Wilson feel like the third wheel.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole38:58

Parker Washington is described as awesome, but Jacksonville's receiving room is considered well-stocked with him and Kobe Myers as a great number two option.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeRole44:03

The source reports that Sam Laporta does not appear to be getting a contract extension in Detroit, and the Lions have no depth behind him at tight end, creating a potential trade scenario or need for the team to draft a replacement at the position.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeProjection19:09

Source questions whether Philadelphia Eagles are thinking ahead to replacing him given his age, suggesting potential future draft consideration but not immediate need.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveRole39:23

Travis Hunter is praised as a great player with the 2-8 (cornerback-safety) versatility finally working out, though at 185 pounds he lacks ideal size for the perimeter cornerback role.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection56:08

Travis Kelce's mobility has declined; he no longer moves like he used to and isn't getting to spots on the field as effectively, as evidenced by a missed 15-yard out route where Mahomes left the ball in front of him but Kelce couldn't reach it due to reduced athleticism.

Insight page

Tyler Huntley

NegativeRole28:56

Tyler Huntley is currently starting for the Ravens in place of Lamar Jackson; the source attributes Baltimore's offensive struggles partly to Huntley's presence under center, suggesting the offense looks different and less effective without Lamar.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeRole55:56

Adding KJ Duff as a receiver would give Xavier Worthy a better chance of being used properly in the Chiefs offense; however, the source notes Worthy is limited in upside and "is what he is," suggesting Duff's addition helps but doesn't transform Worthy's ceiling.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeProjection18:59

Source considers him a natural fit for Philadelphia Eagles' needs but expresses uncertainty about flipping him to the right side, suggesting positional concerns may limit his appeal in this mock.

0:00What is going on everyone? Welcome back to another episode of the Draft Capital Podcast, brought new apart by Underdog Sports.
0:06Be sure of course to use code 32BW down below next time you deposit or if you're signing up for an account today.
0:12He's Steve Letizia, I'm TJ Winger. Today we're coming at you with another 2027 Mock Draft.
0:16Steve, I feel like we're hitting our stride, we're in the rhythm now and hey, it's another Monday, time for another Mock Draft.
0:22But how are you my man? And I'm interested to see your thoughts coming out of this weekend.
0:27We're gonna give you the first overall pick so you get to lead us off today.
0:31I get to set the tone. Yeah, I know doing good.
0:34We got the it's the sports equinox right now.
0:36Yeah, so what's not to love NHL MLB play the World Series.
0:40Yeah, obviously NFL college football. What's that World Series hot takes or anything?
0:43As a Cubs fan who as a Cubs fan who lives in Milwaukee, this is a very stressful time for me because
0:49all my friends are a lot of my friends are Brewers fans.
0:52And I would be happy for them if they win, but I will be secretly rooting against them.
0:57But it looks like the Brewers are gonna win that my hot take is this is gonna be a four game series
1:03but which is crazy because coming into it. I was like, I don't have many hot takes about who wins or like
1:09who will be like World Series MVP or anything.
1:11But I was like, yeah, this series is going seven.
1:14There was something about it that I was like so convinced this was going seven.
1:18So to hear you say that it's like, yeah, so much can change in the course of just yeah, I think the Brewers are just team of destiny.
1:25But yeah, but anyway back to back to to a real sport back to football.
1:29Let's get the real sport. Oh my God. The former baseball player in me just died.
1:33But yeah, I got you leaning things off here with the Chargers at number one.
1:37Yeah, so this is you know, obviously with the Chargers the only win this team left number one on the clock.
1:43Just like we all had on our bingo boards.
1:45Exactly. We all predicted going into the season. They could I mean, they're not picking a quarterback that Justin Herbert Herbert's their guy.
1:52They could explore trade out here, but they also have Jeremiah Smith kind of like what we talked about last week.
1:57Jeremiah Smith just might be too good to pass up whether you have trade offers or not.
2:02So we're just going to lock in Jeremiah Smith.
2:04Yeah, I just there's not many. I think I said this last week.
2:08There's not many non quarterbacks. We could talk about it one where it's like man that guy could actually really turn this turn the ship around really quick.
2:15You know most of the time we're talking about that.
2:18It's just it's Joe Burrow type of quarterback, but Jeremiah Smith.
2:21Obviously if you ever heard of him really good football player.
2:24I think you could have that type of effect on the Chargers.
2:27So then we get to the Titans and I want to do something a little different.
2:31I've been seeing it a good bit in at least the last week some of the mock drafts I've consumed and we've
2:37been a little bit I don't know lower on this player some of our mocks.
2:41So just to kind of catch things up and you know just to play with some things and see how it affects the rest of the draft.
2:48Let's go Dylan Stewart here too. This seems to be a pick that a lot of Titans fans are on board with so you're a Titans fan.
2:55Let me hear what you think about Stewart at two.
2:58And really this was a week where like he has the game-sealing sack of course, you know kind of seal the deal.
3:04And really that was kind of the icing on the top of the cake for his day.
3:08He was really good. But on that last rep you see like unmatched levels of like speed to power ability just because
3:14of the first step plus the natural athleticism and how that translates to power and just a great frame to go with it.
3:20So tools traits all of that makes sense for going number two overall.
3:24If you can iron out some consistency, it would definitely make it worthwhile too.
3:27It's kind of like I don't know if we assume Chase Young would be his up and down maybe as a player
3:33and he's become a really good player now I should say.
3:36But like Chase Young was a little up and down with the Washington football team, Washington commanders, you know, all of the above during his time there.
3:43And I almost kind of wonder if like Stewart we could kind of view him in the same way where it's like
3:49everything about him screams number two overall elite player.
3:52But sometimes the play just goes up and down.
3:54Ultimately, Chase Young's panned out to become a really good player.
3:57And I'm hoping the same for Dylan Stewart last week was a good taste and a good sample size or a good
4:03like glimpse of what it all looks like when it comes together.
4:06Yeah, and we were not I wouldn't say lower on him.
4:09I'd say we they had that like character on the board sometimes.
4:12So I would go to the board, but it was mostly because like the character off not necessarily off the field stuff,
4:18but like practice habits and stuff like that. Yeah, you miss some games injuries.
4:22But yeah, I think it's about time we start getting him in that top three and just kind of lock him in there for the foreseeable future.
4:29So I like that pick Miami Dolphins. So this is where the Dolphins they did get a win.
4:34You know, they got their first win of the year.
4:36So congratulations to the Miami Dolphins. If you're Miami Dolphins fan, maybe you weren't rooting for that.
4:41Maybe you were rooting for a loss, but congratulations anyway.
4:44I think this is still where the first quarterback comes off the board.
4:47Drew Mestermaker. I think we mocked him to the Dolphins in our last one.
4:51It just makes a lot of sense for a team that needs a future, you know, needs someone for a future quarterback.
4:57You got Malik Willis. He can be a bridge quarterback if needed or you just start Drew Mestermaker next year, but they need something for the long term.
5:04And I mean, especially when you look at how the boards, you know, shaking out here, you know, if it was Jeremiah
5:10Smith, we could definitely have a conversation. But even that it's like Caleb Douglas is playing good ball.
5:15I'm still bullish on Chris Bell. Leonard Moore would definitely be in addition to that cornerback room, but like still got my,
5:21you know, fingers crossed hopes up for Chris Johnson and his long term prospects.
5:24So honestly, I kind of like the banking for the future.
5:27And you can take your time with Mestermaker considering you got Willis under contract for another year.
5:32So I like it. I like it for all sides really Washington.
5:35I still really want to do the Jane ball thing.
5:38I talked about that last week. I just feel like God, that would be such a fun backfield.
5:43But this cornerback room has been rough for a while.
5:45Well, let's go give it a big time shot in the arm with the form of Leonard Moore here.
5:50Clear cut CB one blue chip prospect for a team that, you know, I remember when they traded for Marshawn Lattimore and it was like, there it is.
5:58This is going to stabilize the ship and, you know, really did the opposite.
6:01So this team has been hurting for corner, you know, a corner improvement for a long time.
6:06So here's a big time investment at Leonard, Leonard Moore at number four overall.
6:10Yeah, I like that. So now the Texans are on the clock.
6:13Tough loss for the Texans against the Giants against JJ McCarthy and the Giants.
6:17I mean, they're sitting at two and five now.
6:19Like that is not where anyone thought this season was going to go.
6:22So they, who knows, they might have, you know, clear house in the off season.
6:26I don't know if that's necessarily going to happen, but when it, when you have high expectations and then you, you win
6:32two games in the first seven, everything is on the table.
6:35But that means that I think it's just, it's about time the Texans start taking the offensive line seriously and really kind of building that up.
6:42I know they have guys in place and, but I think you just kind of go with the best offensive lineman available.
6:48I see that Trevor has put up zero, zero Williams at a number 11.
6:52I love that. I'm still going to go with Jordan Seaton.
6:55I still think Jordan Seaton is going to be the first tackle off the board.
6:59I love the aggressiveness on zero Williams. I think we're getting a little ahead of ourselves on that 11 first round.
7:04You know, I could see that, but you know, top 10 is a little, little rich, but I think Jordan Seaton makes the Texans better.
7:11It gives you a better chance. I mean, I think CJ Stroud has been playing well for the most part.
7:16So, you know, kind of build around him and, and really just make it a, the best possible situation for him.
7:22Yeah, no, I like it. And I got official pronunciation on Zero Williams.
7:25Williams zero would be so much cooler. And he, I know I might just call him that anyway.
7:30Zero Williams. Like when he has like shutdown weeks, it's just simply too good.
7:34You know, the other thing here that I'm not really ready to make this bold prediction or anything like that, but is
7:40there a world where Daniel Hunter is available next off season?
7:43You know, you got Will Anderson, but eventually that the salary cap number to age, is it going to feel so right for the Houston Texans?
7:50And could you replace him with Colin Simmons? You know, I kind of, while you're picking number five, not going to have any opportunities to replace it.
7:57Daniel Hunter. Could you just, you know, seize while the, or, you know, seize that moment and strike while the iron's hot.
8:03So something else that kind of popped my mind, but again, I don't, I haven't even looked at the contract, honestly, for Hunter.
8:09They're always giving him new money every off season.
8:11So maybe they can't even do that. All right.
8:14Jets here at six, man, you could go Charlie Becker here.
8:17I love how Omar Cooper jr. Is turning out.
8:19Still a big Garrett Wilson guy. Could also look at your quarterback here.
8:22I don't like, love going Mensa here at six.
8:25I mean, he's playing really good and he's coming off another good week, you know, but still just the tools, you know, it's silly sounds.
8:31Maybe I feel better about it at nine. But you, you know, I don't know.
8:35Sometimes as much as that makes you feel better from a draft value standpoint, the other side of that would be if
8:41you're the New York Jets and you're talking about your future franchise quarterback that you took with your second first round pick.
8:47Not your first one. You didn't have conviction to do it the first time, but you felt good about it the second time.
8:53So I don't know. Colin Simmons is a really good football player.
8:56Do you just, you know, take advantage of that and falling down the board?
9:00Not a huge position in need, but it feels a little early for Greg Johnson as much as I like the player.
9:06I don't know. You have any, you think they just go Simmons here?
9:10They could. They could just, they could go Becker.
9:12I mean, it could, I think that it's either wide receiver probably, or just say Simmons is too good to pass up.
9:18Yeah. I don't know what they're, I know they have David Bailey, obviously.
9:21And Bailey's been turning it on the last two weeks for sure.
9:24Um, and really, honestly, this is more about like, I just haven't noticed that and I Mitchell that much.
9:29Not that I've been spotlight on that. And I Mitchell, where is he?
9:33What is he doing? And I do wonder when maybe Garrett Wilson gets tired of that situation and playing for bad football team, just wins at loss wise.
9:40So let's just go Becker here. And frankly, we kind of talked about it last week when we had him go, I
9:46think top four, he's just having that kind of a season.
9:49I know it wasn't like a huge box score against Michigan, but like the tape of the season to this point at that.
9:55If that continues the rest of the year, we're talking about a guy who's warranted a top six pick here.
10:01So Omar Cooper, Jr., Charlie Becker, plus Garrett Wilson.
10:03Like all of a sudden Garrett Wilson feels like the third wheel.
10:06That's yourself in a good spot there. Plus two tight ends, Mason Taylor coming off a two touchdown weekend.
10:11Always was a big fan of him coming out of LSU.
10:14Saw him at the senior bowl. So all of a sudden that offense looks like it's, uh, you know, too much to keep up with.
10:21Also, I guess you could go Jane ball there.
10:23Maybe that's someone else I should have put more thought into if they decide to move on for Brees Hall.
10:29But I like Becker. You can't go wrong going Becker there at six.
10:32I think that's the right pick overall. You also could have gone Alice Robinson too, like if you wanted to go defense.
10:38But I think Becker's the right call there. Um, but that being said, I'm not going to let Colin Simmons fall any farther than the Cardinals.
10:45I'm going to pick him. You have Josh sweat, but you know, I don't know what his contract looks like, but you
10:51could either trade him or get some picks for him and then just kind of rebuild around Colin Simmons.
10:56And you just don't let someone like that guy, like Colin Simmons fall too far in the, in the mock.
11:01Yeah. No, especially when it's not like that's a D line or an edge group that has like a reason not to draft Colin Simmons.
11:08So, uh, yeah, I mean, you could even keep Josh, Josh sweating at both of them, you know?
11:13Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Frankly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's, they're still looking for more.
11:16I don't know if they're looking to shed pieces as much as they're looking to add to it.
11:21All right. Uh, Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Um, I'm kind of looking at Chris Cole here.
11:25I know they just drafted Josiah Trotter, but like, what if you just had two bad-ass linebackers?
11:29I don't know. It could be fun. And I don't know if Alex Anzalone's totally worked out the way that maybe they envisioned it.
11:36Um, Ellis Robinson, you can't really go wrong there.
11:38They're coming off a week where, you know, Zion McCollum looked awesome.
11:41So right now it's like, ah, do I really want to do that?
11:45Not necessarily. Um, Xavier Gillum's also interesting in the spots.
11:47Elijah Cansey's coming off another really good game. Um, yeah, Paris also played really good this week.
11:52That was the other guy. Uh, yeah. So I think I'm going to go Chris Cole.
11:56Um, I just don't really, uh, know if the Anzalone thing is going to be, you know, long for the Buccaneers.
12:02I think they might move on from him next off season, Chris Cole, plus Josiah Trotter.
12:06And plus you can move Cole on ball, off ball.
12:09George has been doing that more and more over the last three to four weeks.
12:13Just creates a little bit. And you know, frankly, they're, they're still kind of trying to figure it out and piece together pass rush wise.
12:19Like Bain is not coming out of the gate.
12:22Super, super strong. Diaby kind of is what he is.
12:24Chris Cole might be a valuable piece for them to have kind of off the ball, uh, as an edge rusher.
12:30So we're on the ball, excuse me, as an edge rusher.
12:33So I don't know. It could be a good addition from multiple fronts there for the Bucs.
12:38He's just too good to pass. I mean, frankly, this is more of a Chris Cole situation where it's like, dude, he's, he's right now.
12:44He's really good. He's playing like a top eight pick.
12:47Don't let him follow the top eight. Just because he's a linebacker.
12:50An off ball linebacker. That's, you know, I'm not saying these are about research or sunny styles, but like, we're, we're closer
12:56to that now than we were at the beginning of the season.
12:59I'll say that. Absolutely. All right. So now I'm on the clock with the jets.
13:03They got the reward receiver and Charlie Becker at six.
13:06Yeah. At six. Um, so now Ellis Robinson is still on the board.
13:09I could go with a corner. Uh, they did.
13:12They really do need corners. Oh, I guess I will go with those Robinson.
13:15Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I can not do it.
13:18Nope. Hold on. Uh, so I was considering Ellis Robinson.
13:20Um, I was also considering quarterback here, obviously. Um, you know, do they go Trinidad here?
13:25Um, do they go CJ car? Are, are we also probably going to have a more conversation.
13:29We might need to have a Norris cells conversation.
13:32Honestly. I mean, I don't, I don't, I'm not at nine, but at the end of the first round, I think Lenora
13:37sellers might've played his way into maybe either someone like the Browns would be a good one.
13:42Someone trading up into the first round to get that fifth year option on him.
13:46Um, something like that. You know, Steelers of course could make some Steelers.
13:49Yeah, absolutely. Um, but I think the other position would be Greg Johnson.
13:53They got to get that interior in line. Um, and I, I liked the corner that I can get at 11.
13:59Cause I see that I got him two picks later.
14:01So sure. And the saints, do you have an edict guard?
14:04Maybe you'll go Greg Johnson with saying, so I'm going to go Greg Johnson at nine and then hopefully get a corner.
14:10Not to tip my hand too much, but hopefully get a corner at 11.
14:14All right. So we might be leaving this first round without a quarterback for the jets.
14:18That would basically, that's kind of what you're teaming it up as Ellis.
14:21Oh shoot. You know, I didn't even, yeah, maybe, I don't know.
14:25We'll see. You know, it's okay. Gino's playing okay ball.
14:27He's like not doing the worst right now. If there's not a quarterback worth taking, which right now I really don't know
14:33if there is, I mean, Trinidad James is playing well.
14:36I thought he played okay. Um, you know, against Texas, but not like fantastic.
14:40And he's also five 11. So sure. What do you want to hear me out?
14:44Could this team be, I guess, because we're not doing a second round.
14:47I don't know. I'll look it up. I mean, could that be the team?
14:51Could the New York jets be the team that trades back into the late first round?
14:55Let me see if the New York jets have a first sellers.
14:58Could this be our first mock with a trade?
15:01That could be something we explore. Uh, second round.
15:03I would have to imagine they have a second somewhere.
15:06This team's been, they probably have multiple. Uh, that's giving me last year's second round pick.
15:10Um, being D'Angelo Ponds. Okay. 2026. Uh, I'm assuming that they do.
15:13Oh, well, I can't get a clear answer, but I'm assuming they do specifically with the sauce gardener and Quentin Williams trade there.
15:19There almost certainly has to be a second round or somewhere in the mix there.
15:23All right. Uh, New Orleans Saints. Yeah, you kind of did, you know, steal, uh, steal some win for my sales there.
15:29Greg Johnson was definitely someone I had my eyes on.
15:32Um, I'm kind of looking at Ellis Robinson since you didn't do that just to pick a go.
15:37Um, MJ Emerson's coming off a really good game.
15:39You know, and a Sanker player I've always been a big fan of, but they also could just move him back to traditional safety spot.
15:46Kool-Aid's been fine. Hasn't been awesome. I also like the Jane Boffitt.
15:49Um, I've never been the world's biggest like Etienne fan or Etchan, sorry, uh, fan.
15:53So I could definitely be persuaded to go in that direction.
15:56And frankly, that might be my best value route here.
15:58I think Bryce Lance has acquitted himself pretty nicely as that third receiver and Vele being the two.
16:03Honestly, receivers are neat here and Nick Morris is better than Bryce Lance.
16:07Yes, but I guess that's really kind of what it's coming down to or Xavier Gillum.
16:11You know, now I actually think about it. Maybe I'll go Xavier Gillum here.
16:15I know Brian Brzee has been, he's out for this year, but frankly, I think he's had better production than maybe like
16:20the actual play has been just from my eyes.
16:23So I'm going to go Xavier Gillum. Give this team a little bit more juice on the inside there.
16:28Love that. Yeah. He's playing like a top 10 pick right now.
16:31Yeah. Yeah. It's not, not a reach. I mean, they had him what, 10th in the, in the rankings and we got him 10th years.
16:38All right. So now back to, back to the jets.
16:40Do I go Ellis Robinson or Kelly Jones or, uh, you know, Ashton Hampton or do I just go with the quarterback?
16:46We've been kind of back and forth on like, so you did car.
16:50What is he Arch Manning? What is he? Austin Simmons, which year is he?
16:54But to this point, I still think, yeah, again, we kind of talked about it last week.
16:5831 to three, not many better QB performances. You'll see in that type of, that type of game.
17:03But Austin Simmons was, he was fine and he can still fit the ball in some tight windows, got great arm talent.
17:09And I'm really like, if they get Ahmad Hardy back and it's like Ahmad Hardy, Ahmad Hardy.
17:13Imagine the windows that he's going to start throwing into, you know, in the next couple of weeks.
17:18So, you know, maybe Austin Simmons is a guy this, you know, this year and maybe he would make sense here at 11.
17:24Yeah. Unfortunately, I think all the, most of these quarterbacks are 20, 28 guys.
17:28I mean, you met with Simmons. I think he's probably most likely a 20, 28 guy.
17:32Arch, we talked about last week. We didn't really discuss it this week, but I think again, we're kind of on the same page.
17:39He probably is not going to be in the first round of this mock.
17:42I think he's a 20, 28 guy. CJ Carr, I think he's a 20, 28 guy.
17:47Turnout team list is obviously going to be this draft class.
17:49Sellers will most likely be in this draft class.
17:52Menzo will be in this draft class. But it's tough to justify taking any of them with a top-level pick.
17:57But ultimately, I think with the three first round picks, you kind of set yourself up where you could take, kind of
18:03reach on a quarterback and just be like, even if this.
18:06We got Becker and Johnson. You got Becker and Johnson.
18:09The offense is going to be better. I think I'm going to go Trinidad.
18:12But I would say, like, this might be a situation where you don't necessarily rule out of taking a quarterback in the
18:18first round in 20, 28, you know, if Trinidad comes in.
18:21Because if Trinidad, if he comes in, like, you expect Trinidad Chambers to come in pretty pro-ready with how much experience he has.
18:27So if you don't get a ton out of him, it could be a situation where then you trade, and there's a,
18:33you know, maybe Austin Simmons takes the next step.
18:36Or Camaro Taylor's, and you have the first round pick.
18:38Trade Trinidad Chambers and draft that guy. So I don't necessarily think that takes that off the table.
18:43So I'll go Chambers. It's the most important position in the league.
18:46And I mean, like, whether it's Rosen, Kyler example, you know, as funny as it is, kind of the J.J.
18:52McCarthy, Sam Darnold situation. Like, teams have moved on from quarterbacks before and done so in the snap of a finger.
18:57So, like, yeah, you're right. If Camaro Taylor is that dude in 28 and they're staring him in the face, all of
19:03a sudden Trinidad Chambers just feels like, you know, the other option.
19:06So, you got to do what you, you know, even just the, you know, Carson Wentz, Shalen Hurts situation, right?
19:11Another one we can pull back from the history books.
19:14So, really what kind of interesting from that takeaway is now I don't know where Darian Mensah is going to go in this mock.
19:21Because I do not like his arm in Cleveland playing in that type of weather and conditions.
19:25And I know they're building a dome, but that still gives me pause.
19:29Maybe Atlanta, but I'll let you take that swing of the bat.
19:32I'm still kind of bullish on Penix. Otherwise, might be a little bit of a fall here for Darian Mensah.
19:37Again, putting up huge numbers right now. All right.
19:39Philadelphia Eagles. Zay Flowers would just be like such an Eagles pick here.
19:43But I don't know about flipping him over to the right side.
19:46Ellis Robinson would be interesting. Jane Ball could be fun.
19:49Like, Saquon is getting up there in age. Are they thinking that far ahead, you know?
19:53I'm not entirely sure I want to go in that direction.
19:56Ultimately, I think I'm just going to go the boring route and go KJ Bolden.
20:00Good corners available. But ultimately, I think a lot of their problems stems from the safety spots and some miscommunications on the back end.
20:06Plus, just like, I think you can get better coverage-wise over the middle of the field.
20:11So, I'm going to go with KJ Bolden, cheer up some tackling, try to boost up the back end coverage side as well.
20:17Yeah. And plus, every time we don't take a safety for the Eagles, there's a million people that comment saying, how did
20:23you not take a safety for the Eagles? So, we do listen to our fans.
20:27And so, comment below, you know, if you want us to draft a certain player.
20:31No, on the pick, let us know. If you hate the pick, also, let us know.
20:35Also, let us know. So, yeah, no, good pick.
20:37Also, KJ Bolden is just worth the 12th pick.
20:40Good player. All right, so the Raiders are on the clock.
20:43I'm thinking wide receiver, maybe offensive lineman, maybe Ellis Robinson as well, just because he's fallen a little bit.
20:48Their defense is bad. Their defense is bad. Their defense is, it's a tough situation because their defense is bad, but they also have Fernando Mendoza last year.
20:55Like, they want to build around him as much as they possibly can.
20:59And I'm kind of the same situation with you and 0A Williams with the Eagles.
21:03It's like, I could take him, but I don't really know, can he play the right side?
21:07Like, that's really what they need. They need a right tackle more than anything.
21:11So, I might, or do I go Goosby, you know, play him on the right side?
21:15He has more of some experience there. Yeah, a little more season, a little maybe more pro ready.
21:20Or do I just go Nick Marsh and give them an X wide receiver, allow Brock Bowers to be actually used a little bit more creatively?
21:27That's where my head's at. It's kind of just where I want to go.
21:31Ultimately, I think I'm going to go with Ellis Robinson.
21:33Okay. And just because he's the best player available, I think all three of those players make sense.
21:38But he's dropping a little bit. Let's just take him now and, you know, we'll get a wide receiver in the second round.
21:44Yeah, and I mean, I like this day two corner group.
21:47Don't get me wrong. But also, this is going to be a really good year to draft a receiver on day two.
21:53Like, with this team staring Deuce Alexander, Amari Thomas, Wesco, Mike Matthews.
21:56Jackson Harris has been playing well from LSU. There's going to be some good options.
22:00Ideally, they're getting an X receiver, but maybe Wesco's that guy for them.
22:04Maybe it's Reed Harris, you know, like maybe it's Mike Matthews.
22:06I think there's going to be some good guys in that kind of like Michael Pittman, T.
22:11Higgins type of range that you get at the top of the second round.
22:15All right, Cleveland Browns. So, as mentioned, like, I could go Mensa, but I just worry about that arm, to be completely honest.
22:21Same thing I'd be saying if it was CJ Carr and, like, that was my last option left.
22:26I just don't love that arm. Really, it'd be Austin Matthews.
22:29I looked into the Sean Watson contract because, oh boy, what are they going to do there?
22:33Just somehow this situation got worse. All of a sudden, Deshaun Watson remembered he can play competent football, and it's when his deal's expiring.
22:40So, like, what a year to turn it on if you're Deshaun Watson.
22:43So, I don't know what they're going to do.
22:45Next year's a void year from the best I could tell.
22:48Otherwise, I'd just say, hey, let's go Austin Simmons, let him sit for a year, and then let's figure it out.
22:54Because, frankly, his arm talent, I think, can play in those conditions.
22:57But, I don't know. I'm kind of left without a great option here at quarterback.
23:01Because, again, I'm with you. I think Simmons, you know, go back to school.
23:05Go back to transfer. Go hit USC. You know, like, try to be the savior of Lincoln Riley's tenure there with the Trojans.
23:11And if that's the way you're going to go, having said, I don't really love what that leaves you with, per se.
23:17Okay. So, shoot, I might be, like, I hate to say it, I might have my hands tied.
23:22I might have to go quarterback here. Because I just, not many other things here, like, really fit the bill for what this team needs.
23:28I'm not really trying to go, you know, reaching down the board for an edge rusher at this point.
23:33You could go Eccles, but I think they're okay.
23:36A little early to go the next linebacker. You could go corner.
23:39Corner's played pretty well this last week. Like, but you could, I mean, honestly, I'm kind of at the point now where
23:45as much as you want to have eight deep on the D line, I kind of want eight deep in the secondary too, brother.
23:51Like, it's a position where injuries always come up.
23:54And frankly, the fresher you can keep those guys, the better they play.
23:57So, maybe we just go Ashton Hampton and just say, hey, he's the best player available.
24:01I don't know. I'm kind of scratching my head here.
24:04What do you think makes sense for this team?
24:06Can we go safety for them too? I know they drafted Emmanuel and Nick Neal Warren.
24:11We had somebody point that out last week. But Grant Delpit, Ronnie Hickman, just uninspiring play as of right now.
24:16Yeah, I mean, I agree with the safety. I mean, Emmanuel McVernon has been playing well, but you need two safeties.
24:22So, you could always go that direction. I think I like Hampton, obviously, one of our guys.
24:26I agree with you on the quarterback position. I think it's just kind of a, you just wait, unfortunately.
24:31And then, yeah, they have wide receiver lists as need.
24:34But, I mean, Casey Concepcion has been playing great.
24:36Denzel Boston has been playing great. It's tough to.
24:39I'm just, I'm going to bail myself out. I'm going to go Austin Simmons and just say, Hey, you're not in this class.
24:45I don't know. I know that's like such lame commentary and such lame analysis.
24:48But, frankly, if this is the spot the Cleveland Browns find themselves in, they better hope Austin Simmons is in this class.
24:54You can't go wrong with Jaden Baugh. Could they go Zaraway Williams?
24:58Could they go KJ Duff? Could they go Ashton Hampton?
25:00Sure. All that they could do. Maybe Trevor Goosby.
25:03And they just let him sit for a year after, you know, the knee injury and say, Hey, he's our right tackle in the making.
25:09Maybe. Maybe. But at this point, honestly, frankly, let's just go Austin Simmons at 14 and just try to let him sit
25:15for a year maybe and see what's in their long term.
25:18And maybe. Another option. Yeah. And maybe that's more of like a position to a team thing.
25:23Because maybe it's Austin Simmons. Maybe it's Lenore Sellers.
25:25Maybe it's Darian Mensah. You know, there will be another quarterback taken, you know, in this range.
25:29So. Sellers, we can go ahead and have that comment here.
25:32I could have gone Sellers because he's like the name of the last two weeks for sure.
25:37Yeah. And he's playing like the guy that I was hoping to see as my, you know, preseason quarterback three coming into the year.
25:43He's playing quicker. He's playing within the rhythm of the offense.
25:46Ball's coming out. And it's really accurate. I think he's giving guys more opportunities after the catch.
25:51But that being said, it's two games. And Lenore Sellers wave, like, it tends to be three games.
25:56So if we get one more good game, okay, cool.
25:58We're right on the cusp of like, can we make this a run?
26:02If he puts together two more games like we've seen the last two weeks, trust me, I will be all aboard first
26:08in line to jump on the Lenore Sellers hype train as we get to the end of the season.
26:13So I'm hoping that's the case. But as of right now, I think Simmons has had a better entire season than Sellers.
26:18But Sellers is the hot name over the last two weeks, for sure.
26:22Absolutely. All right, Falcons. So Falcons had a big win, obviously, against the 49ers.
26:26What are they now? They're three and four, which I think is better than most people thought they would be.
26:31Where my mind's going is Jake Matthews is going to be 35 years old after the season.
26:36I don't know if he's a free agent or not.
26:38But either way, he's going to be 35 years old.
26:41They don't really have, they have Jawan Taylor at right tackle.
26:44They need tackles. This is one where, you know, Trevor Goosby could obviously step in and play right tackle right away.
26:49But I like 0-0 Williams maybe a little bit better.
26:52And I think I'm going to go with him here.
26:55You know, you can play him at left tackle.
26:57Maybe you can also play him at right tackle.
26:59I don't know. That's, you know, that's up to him and up to the team.
27:03But either way, I think that's a kind of, I don't want to call him developmental because obviously we're taking him in the first round.
27:10You don't draft necessarily a developmental tackle in the first round.
27:13But a guy who the ceiling is so high.
27:15So you kind of take the risk there. Yeah.
27:18And I'm looking at it. They have a potential out with Jake Matthews next year.
27:22Maybe they just go that route. But I mean, you're saving $18 million.
27:25So you're saving a lot of money. But I wonder if they maybe kick the can one more year and try to do what the Panthers try.
27:33I think the Panthers intent was this year. Rasheed Walker.
27:35And then you bring along Monroe Freeling slowly. Sure.
27:38But yeah, I'm with you there. And honestly, I kind of more zero way Williams right now than I am Trevor Goosby,
27:43which hurts me to say as someone who had Goosby, I think number six on my preseason big board.
27:49But Goosby specifically in the run game is he looks like a lumbering athlete.
27:52Like, yeah, he just looks like he's a guy that plays with heavy feet.
27:56Sometimes you just see that. And it's like, I don't know how to explain it other than their feet just look heavier than others.
28:02And you look at zero way Williams and how he moves specifically in this like wide zone blocking scheme.
28:07It's not really even close to me. Zero way Williams looks like a much more natural athlete.
28:12Goosby is like capable of hitting a spots, but yeah, he's just kind of straining to get to that spot.
28:17It feels like specifically this year. And I don't know if there was some precursor to the injury and maybe that's affected his play.
28:24He's been solid in pass pro, but in the run game, he's been a little disappointing for me this year.
28:29But zero Williams, he's the hot name. I love that fit there for the Falcons.
28:33And maybe again, timetable could work out where you bring him along slowly.
28:36Baltimore Ravens. Man, Jane ball would be so fun as like a Derrick Henry replacement.
28:40Oh my God. Or just like two back backfield with Lamar Jackson's sandwich sandwich in between them.
28:45Are you kidding me? That being said, and I'm not saying Shelby Lane is a bad football player.
28:50I'm not saying Elijah Surratt is a bad football player.
28:52I just don't know if I can let good be the enemy of great.
28:56And I think Nick Marsh at 16 is great value.
28:59And we saw what safe flowers can do. A lot of that coming in the first half this last week.
29:04Imagine if you could actually balance out that offense like Lamar Jackson.
29:07I mean, I know this isn't Lamar. It's Tyler Huntley right now.
29:11And that's part of why it looks the way it does right now for Baltimore's offense.
29:15But man, Lamar back there, if it was more than just safe flowers.
29:18And again, I think Surratt and Lane can be good players.
29:21But I said preseason. Marsh is the better version of Surratt.
29:24So why not go ahead and get that better version here in the first round?
29:28So I'm going to go Nick Marsh there. Jane ball again would be so fun.
29:32But this is a team that's had a good run game for a while.
29:36That hasn't been the problem of getting over the hump.
29:39I think it's time to get more dynamic in the passing game.
29:42Nick Marsh is the answer to that question. Yeah.
29:44So with the Seahawks, if they didn't just draft a running back at the first round, I'd be like, yeah, let's get Jayden Ball in here.
29:51But I don't think they're going to, I don't think they would necessarily do that.
29:55But someone's going to get a good pick in Jayden Ball in these next couple picks most likely.
30:00So I'm thinking, you know, I really like the idea of wide receiver to the Seahawks.
30:04Obviously they got JSN, but I don't think they have much beyond that.
30:08I also really like the idea of drafting an interior offensive lineman for them.
30:11And now when we get to pick 17, that's more, you know, reasonable.
30:15Could I go Kate Peeper? Trevor Welk could play guard potentially.
30:18Also, you know, with a wide receiver, like the kind of who I'm considering is like, do you go?
30:23I'm still a little bit lower on KJ Duff than 14.
30:26So I'm not really considering him here, but I am considering Cam Coleman.
30:29I know Cam Coleman had another big drop, you know, last week on that deep ball, which was pretty devastating.
30:34But the athleticism is there. The talent is there.
30:37He just maybe needs some refinement. Like, could you get him to Seattle, get that X receiver?
30:41And then you have JSN who you can move around everywhere.
30:44Like, I really like that fit. But I might like, you know what?
30:48I'm going to do it. I'll go Cam Coleman.
30:50I know, you know, people are low on him now, but I still think he's worth like a top 20 pick just on the traits and athleticism.
30:57Yeah, no, I mean, I don't think you can get wrong there.
31:01And frankly, with some of the decisions that Darnold's making right now, a ball winner might be someone who can bail out some of those mistakes.
31:07So I kind of don't hate it from that standpoint.
31:10I wonder, and part of that is just because we just watched Kansas City-Seattle.
31:14Seattle gets the win last night on Sunday Night Football.
31:17But part of me is like, they threw money at Rashid Shahid instead of Kenneth Walker.
31:21And it worked out last night. It was fine.
31:23They stopped Kansas City's rushing attack at a really high level.
31:26That being said, do they wish they could do that again?
31:29And John Snyder's a really good GM. I don't think he would go, you know, go broke, like trying to win back his losses essentially here.
31:36But I do wonder if he's like, well, we're paying Rashid Shahid.
31:39And that's the reason Kenneth Walker's not here. So we're going to, he's just going to play more next year.
31:45And maybe they would overlook receiver here. That would be my only.
31:48But again, I feel like maybe I'm reaching at straws and going too tinfoiled hat here.
31:52New England Patriots, in a lot of ways, Jaden Ball, this would be so sick.
31:56Again, just like, I feel like every pick I've had today, I'm like, what about Jaden Ball?
32:00But him playing in those, especially when it's cold, December, January football in New England.
32:04I mean, that could be awesome. Linebacker would be fun, but I just don't know if they're going to be in Chris Cole territory.
32:11And more, I think it's more of a second round thing for this team.
32:15Like try to go get yourself Kingston Villa Amuasa in the second round.
32:18I think you'd be all the better for it.
32:20He's a total Mike Vrabel type of linebacker too.
32:23So corner, but we always do that for this team.
32:26So I feel like their edge group is really turning it on.
32:29So, you know, Ponder's played some good ball. Gabe Ackes is getting better over the course of the season.
32:34So I just don't really feel the need. Maybe you go look long-term at right tackle, but you also drafted Gale Blomio last year.
32:40So never mind. I was going to say, maybe this is the Goosby tax here.
32:44Like you let his injury kind of seep in and he becomes the pick here.
32:48But I don't know. Good for the New England Patriots.
32:51A team that like four weeks ago was like, oh my God, they have too many holes.
32:55I don't know what to do here. And now it's like, roster looks solid.
32:59Maybe this is a guard team. Maybe I'm just thinking too much.
33:02I'll ask Verrett Tucker, Matt Pryor. You know, Verrett Tucker is really good, but often injured.
33:07So honestly, he's injured now. Reinsurance is probably a good thing.
33:09Could you go Laug? Is Laug a little bit of a weird fit here?
33:13I feel like he kind of is. Josh McDaniels, a little bit more of a gap scheme guy.
33:18Maybe it's Nap. And then you just have the flexibility of Verrett Tucker can play wherever.
33:22I like the idea of going to the interior with them.
33:25But is the value right? That's the real question here.
33:28Yeah. You could go Peeper, right? And just say he's going to be a lighter right guard.
33:32But yeah, I don't know. They are going to try.
33:35I mean, they tried that with. Cole Strange. Yeah.
33:37Yeah. Cole Strange. And even their center, their current center, who they played a guard last year, can blank it on his name.
33:44Could it be Will Echols? Milton Williams? Christian Barmore plus Will Echols?
33:47Man, good for New England. Yeah. Honestly, I think it's just going to have to be corner because the value is too good.
33:53Sorry, New England. I really tried. And I could just go ball, too.
33:56If I don't go ball here, where does he go?
33:59Let's cheat a little bit here. I mean. Carolina, maybe Dallas.
34:02Dallas for sure. He probably doesn't get past Dallas, I would say.
34:05I was actually kind of considering him for Carolina at 19.
34:08Or Jacksonville at 22. Like Jacksonville, frankly, this is a spot where if we wanted to be completely honest here, we would do a trade with Jacksonville.
34:15And Jacksonville goes and adds him to the run game.
34:18I mean, I was kind of considering him from the Panthers.
34:21I know they have Chabba Hubbard, who's playing well, but he's going to be, he's 28 now.
34:25And, and Bodge might be too good. And then you kind of just build around your running game.
34:30But I'm not necessarily saying I'm going to for sure go ball, but I would consider it.
34:35I'm going to go Ashton Hampton for the New England Patriots.
34:38Again, you can't go wrong having too many corners.
34:40Hampton plus Gonzalez is a phenomenal one-two punch. Like that is, that's where you want to be.
34:45Especially when you're a team that's going to be as good as you are the next 10 years.
34:49Teams are going to be throwing the ball against you in the second half to overcome a deficit.
34:54Having corner depth is going to go a long way.
34:57Yeah. All right. So now the Panthers, as I just mentioned, you know, considering Jaden Ball, not the biggest need by any
35:03means, but Ball just might be too good and also protects Bryce Young a little bit.
35:07Sure. I just think that, yeah. So I also consider Kelly Jones here, just, you know, back-to-back corners.
35:12Could go Kelly Jones. I think he's worth the top 20 pick.
35:15What is their interior? What's the defensive line look like?
35:18Treshawn Wharton. Derek Brown's a stud, but yeah, I was never a big Turk Wharton guy.
35:22Yeah. And then they drafted Lee Hunter last year.
35:24Yeah. Oh, right. Okay. Okay. That's not too bad.
35:27Okay. Probably won't go into interior defensive line. Probably too early for another linebacker to come off the board.
35:32Could this be where a tight end goes off the board?
35:35I feel like we always give the Panthers tight ends.
35:37It's them and the Broncos. I know. I know.
35:40What about their interior offensive line? Yeah. And, um, maybe Damian Lewis, I believe is this guy.
35:44Yeah. Damian Lewis, Luke Fortner's their center. Robert Hunt's their right guard.
35:47I don't know what their contracts look like, but I'm pretty sure Lewis is a pending free agent here.
35:52Let me look that up. He's got one more year.
35:55He's got 2027 on his, uh, on his contract or they cut him and save $14 million.
36:00So, yeah. So Robert Hunt also. My thing to boil hat theory there is maybe they cut Lewis and then try to move the Kim Aquanu into guard.
36:07Yeah. Specifically when they draft Freeling last year, I was kind of wondering, I was like, would this be a move that gets icky?
36:14Which I liked it icky at NC State, but I was like, would love him at guard.
36:18So I would kind of love if that's the move.
36:21Yeah. And their other starter, Robert Hunt, there's, they can get out of his contract and save 19 million.
36:26So you got to think they're at least going to, they're not going to pay both those guards all that money.
36:31They're going to cut one of those and maybe it's a quantum into guard or maybe they, you know, go with a guard here.
36:38Sure. Just for the sake, cause we've given them tight end so many times.
36:42So if there's Panthers fans listening to this and saying, how did you pass up on a tight end?
36:47It's mostly because we've given them a tight end in every single draft.
36:50I'll give him Trevor Lauk just to give him a guard.
36:53I like Lauk. And frankly, again, you can't have too many answers at offense tackle.
36:57So yeah. Yeah. He might be able to play that.
37:00Especially with like the moton he's out for the season now.
37:03It's almost certainly. So I need a couple of tackles here pretty soon.
37:06Yeah. So, all right. Dallas Cowboys. Oh man. Don't overthink it.
37:09There's so many different ways you could still improve this roster, but Jayden Ball.
37:13Imagine Javante Williams with the juice we thought he had at UNC.
37:16That starts to look like Jaden Ball. And honestly, it almost is Jaden Ball.
37:20Jaden Ball is just so good. And this has been a team that like has put a lot on Dak Prescott's shoulders.
37:25Like one of my favorite bets every Sunday is Dak Prescott attempts.
37:29Like I'm pretty religious better on that. And typically works out.
37:32Wouldn't you like to take some of that pressure off his shoulders, especially as he gets up there in age?
37:37So, and also like depending on what happens with George Pickens might be good natural evolution for this offense to get a little bit more run game dependent.
37:44So, I'm going to go Jaden Ball here at 20.
37:47Really good value for one of the best players in class.
37:50Great value. And my pick here is actually pretty easy.
37:53The Giants need interior pass rush. Will Eccles is there.
37:55Let's go with the kind of the best player available there.
37:58Yeah. They got some juice off the edge, but they need more from the interior.
38:02So, you got DJ Reader is your nose. He's going to be your, Will Eccles can be your three technique.
38:08Kind of rotate between nose and three technique. He can do both.
38:11And Reader's playing good enough ball to where he's probably back next year.
38:14And I would, that's like almost the exact person I would want Will Eccles to like learn from specifically.
38:19You know, Will Eccles is a great run defender, but like doing it at a pro level, Reader's as good as it gets.
38:25Jacksonville Jaguars. This would have been a great Will Eccles spot, even though Devon Hamilton's playing good ball.
38:30In case you missed our last episode, Extreme Franchise Makeover, where we fixed the Indianapolis Colts, Devon Hamilton is a scheduled free agent.
38:36So, we learned in the last episode. So, one, go check that out if you missed it.
38:41See what we did with your division rival, the Indianapolis Colts.
38:44But also, so you could future-proof IDL, but now with Eccles off the board, I don't know.
38:48Justin Scott is kind of, he's kind of a fit there for that four-man front.
38:52So, I can kind of see that. And, you know, need I point you in the direction of Trayvon Walker.
38:58Them investing on a different GM. But, tools he trades to defensive linemen and eventually time kind of paying off.
39:03Running back would have been sick. This wouldn't have been a great Jaden Ball.
39:07Like, him and a Liam Cohen run game would have just fueled families right there.
39:11A little early for linebacker. I don't think they need to go receiver just because Parker Washington's awesome.
39:15Kobe Myers is a great number two. But this team's got to trade Brian Thomas Jr., right?
39:20Like, there's no way he's on the roster next year, right?
39:23Like, that just, that can't be happening. I think I'm going to go corner.
39:27I'm pretty sure we've done this a thousand times.
39:29But, it's just, it's the best value here. And, I like adding some size to that cornerback room.
39:34You know, Travis Hunter, great player. Love the 2-8 thing.
39:37Finally working out, but he's 185 pounds. You know, Jerrion Jones, 6 foot on the dot.
39:41Probably better nickel. Jordan Lewis is 5'10", 195. I'm going to add some size in the form of Kelly Jones there, the perimeter of this Jags defense.
39:48Love it. All right, Bengals on the clock. Obviously, they had a great game against the Ravens this week.
39:53Obviously, the Ravens didn't have Lamar Jackson, so that kind of helps.
39:56But, offense showed up. Where do I want to go here?
39:59Can you go to all? I want to see just, has anyone just, like, fallen?
40:03I mean, they could go Trevor Goosby. They need a tackle.
40:06I was going to mention that. This was something I was going to say before the pod.
40:11But, I didn't know who was going to have what pick.
40:14I actually think this is a great fit. One, because, like, Orlando Brown Jr.'s left tackle.
40:18Like, you're already used to P5 Fum play at your left tackle spot in the run game.
40:22Right. And, frankly, they could have him for one more year.
40:25Kind of another example of the Panther situation where you could draft Goosby now.
40:29Let him sit for a full year after the knee injury.
40:32And then, like, give Orlando Brown one last year in Cincy.
40:35And then, send him on his way. Goosby steps in.
40:38He needs a left tackle. Timeout could work out.
40:40Yeah. Pretty nice there for Cincy. My only problem with Goosby, too, the Bengals specifically, is they're in shotgun so much.
40:45And I just really want to put Goosby in, like, an under-center, play-action-heavy offense to help him out a little bit.
40:51Yeah. But, he's certainly on the table here. He could play left or right.
40:55Could go tight end, too. This could be the first tight end spot.
40:58Yeah. You know, I know I'm speaking offense, and Bengals fans are probably screaming in the comments, like, please draft a defensive player.
41:0420-17 win. When did you think that was going to be on the table for the Cincinnati Bengals?
41:09Right. So, could go tight end. Could go offensive tackle.
41:12What about corner? I think that now, we kind of had to run on corners.
41:16I don't know if there's another one really. Jalen, yeah.
41:19I love how... I don't know that Jalen Mayer goes to the senior bowl, and he balls out, and then eventually he's,
41:24like, in that spot of mock drafts. But we're about six months early for that.
41:28He could be. I also love how they have Andrew Marshall in the second round range.
41:33Love him. I'm not going to pick him here, but I just like that.
41:36Good. Little shout out. What about... It's a little early for one.
41:40I play my five-year miles. La Amo Asa would be a whole lot on.
41:43And then Al Golden, former Notre Dame DC, you know, gets Villa Amo Asa.
41:47Like, it's kind of a cool story, but I don't know if you do it at 23.
41:52Yeah. I mean, linebacker is really... Linebacker, corner... Could they use a safety?
41:55I'm not sure how well, like, Jordan Battle and Brian Cook are playing.
41:58Seems like they could use a safety, though. Frankly, the fact that I'm not noticing Cincinnati's secondaries much this year is a good thing.
42:05That's true. But it does look like they could potentially use someone there.
42:08Because I think we've only... Who are the safeties?
42:11We only had one safety off the board, right?
42:13Yeah. So you got Loco. And this is a good safety class.
42:16You could go McLean, in-state guy. I don't really like any of these defenders.
42:20What about interior defensive linemen? Obviously, they have Dexter Lawrence, but they have Jonathan Allen.
42:24Could they go... Justin Scott would be an interesting...
42:26Justin Scott. Yeah. I think Justin Scott is a Jonathan Allen kind of replacement.
42:30We'll go there. Because I think they just need to go defense.
42:33I would love to give them a tight end or an offensive lineman, but...
42:37Yeah. They can fix that side of the ball.
42:39It's one that we haven't done. Player to team, for sure.
42:42But, like, we haven't done a whole lot of Justin Scott in the first round of late.
42:47But I still think his traits, if he declares a share, he's going to be in the conversation, for sure.
42:52Yeah. Pittsburgh Steelers. I forgot about Darian Mensah, did we?
42:55I think he could be definitely an option here.
42:57I think McCarthy might squint and see, like, a little Dak Prescott in there.
43:01Sure. I would love a guard. Trust me, guys.
43:03Steelers fan here. Would love a guard or a center here.
43:06Not really a center. Zach Brasier's awesome. But, like, a guard.
43:09That would be great reinforcements. Corner. I think we could definitely get better there.
43:13Dean's good when he plays, but that's always the statement when he plays.
43:17Um, so, Goosby? Nah, I think we're okay. Uh, yeah.
43:19So, I think I'm just going to go Darian Mensah.
43:22Or Lenora Sellers. I mean, on one side of my brain, it's like, we drafted Drew Aller last year.
43:27So, between Drew Aller and Lenora Sellers, one of these guys has to be good, right?
43:31But, um, I think the Darian Mensah, like, squint, and you can see a little Dak Prescott there.
43:36That, to me, is, like, probably more the Mike McCarthy way of thinking about it.
43:40And, frankly, the fact that he took a lottery ticket last year in Drew Aller might send him in the direction of,
43:46like, playing a little more conservative this time around.
43:48Because if you're picking a 24 and you're drafting a quarterback, you missed out on the, you know, musical chairs in free
43:54agency, in the trades, and you're picking a 24.
43:56You had a pretty solid season. You're looking to compete next year.
44:00I'll go the Mensah route here. Sure. Yeah, it makes sense.
44:03I mean, he's going to be a top three Heisman finalist.
44:06He's going to the first round. So. Yeah. All right.
44:08Detroit Lions. And so, we always give them cornerback.
44:11We always give them edge. Those are the two positions we pretty much always give them.
44:15I have another position I want to just throw out there.
44:18I don't know if you have heard what Sam Laporta has been saying, but it does not seem like he is getting a contract extension in Detroit.
44:25And they have nothing behind him. So, could this be a trade as green or Jamari Johnson?
44:30Actually, I really like Jamari Johnson to them as a guy who could play in line.
44:34You know, the Lions are going to, you know, run the ball a lot.
44:37So, I think I'm going to go with Jamari Johnson.
44:40Just, one, because I think it makes sense because of Sam Laporta being gone.
44:44And two, just to give them a different, give Lions fans a different look rather than another corner.
44:49Yeah, no, I'm with you. And I'm kind of team Jamari Johnson from the get.
44:53I do like trade as green a lot. And frankly, I think Trevor's got the right board here where they're pretty close.
44:59And really, it just comes down to little minutiae detail differences that maybe you like one guy more than the other.
45:04But like specifically, and this isn't the reason you draft a guy, but it could be the tiebreaker.
45:09Like specifically, if this team wanted to use like a fullback, like Jamari Johnson would be such a fun wrinkle in this offense.
45:15Just kind of hide him as like a lined up fullback or something like that.
45:19And you just can't do that with 6'7", trade as green.
45:22Like he sticks out like a story. It's like the reason Jacob Lorty can't be Bond.
45:26He's 6'5". You can't be a secret spy, you know, secretive and sleuth around when you're 6'5".
45:31So I kind of like Jamari Johnson because I think that would be, there's a lot they could do with him.
45:36And honestly, that Drew Petsing, I was bullish on him as the OC.
45:40I felt like he was a little hamstrung with some of the pieces there in Arizona, but he was such a good
45:46fit for what Detroit was going to try to do.
45:48So I love that that offense is finding its stride right now.
45:52All right, Cleveland Browns, we went quarterback, was that 14, right?
45:54Yeah, with Austin Simmons, kind of got bailed out there.
45:57Here, all of a sudden, like the value of some of these guys looks a whole lot better.
46:02And frankly, I'm kind of, I might just go Goosby here.
46:05I've never been a big Titus Howard guy. And frankly, I think his better place is going to be my guard, if anything.
46:11So do you just draft and stash Goosby and just wait for a year?
46:15Deuce Alexander could be a lot of fun. KJ Duff, frankly, just go get two, you know, huge, big body, physical receivers on the outside.
46:21I don't hate that. And then Casey Concepcion, just chopping it up in the middle.
46:25So could add to this edge room, Bobakor Traore is an interesting addition.
46:29Devon Tompkins could give you some flexibility inside and out.
46:31It's another team that could go tight end, too.
46:34I don't hate the idea of trade as green here.
46:37But I think I'm going to go, I mean, I could also go Goosby for your Bears, draft and stash and left tackle there, too.
46:43That could be, not to, you know, not to do that.
46:46But I don't know, what would Cleveland want to do here?
46:49I feel like that offensive line of run game is going to get better as the year goes on.
46:54So, and really, I just look at that D-line.
46:57I mean, the defense is playing generally pretty good.
46:59But I do think there's some more firepower that can be had on the D-line.
47:03But is Traore that much different from guys like Isaiah McGuire or Alex Wright?
47:07You know, like guys they've drafted in the past.
47:09I don't know if he's that level of a dude.
47:12Tompkins is interesting just from the alignment versatility. And you know what?
47:15Honestly, I think I'm going to do that. I'm going to go Devin Tompkins.
47:19Tompkins just, I think like you could play Malik Collins early downs.
47:22And then when he comes off the field, Tompkins slides inside.
47:25I think there could be some interesting ways they deploy him.
47:28And yeah, I'm kind of interested to see how he would mix it up with Jared Burst next to him.
47:33You know, like I think there's some advantageous one-on-ones you could put him in.
47:37So I like him specifically for that D-line. Yeah, I like that back.
47:40Yeah, I've had a hard time finding like the right team.
47:43But honestly, now that I've discovered this, Browns fans, I'm sorry.
47:46He has two work on pick. Almost always one of them, if I pick it for you, is going to be Devin Tompkins.
47:52Browns fans, get ready to learn Devin Tompkins, buddy.
47:55Because I'm knocking that pick every time. Yeah, literally.
47:57All right, Broncos. So this board, I mean, could go another tight end.
48:00This could be a trade-ins green spot. Obviously, we've mocked tight end a lot.
48:04This could be a Traore spot. This could be a Villamia-Asa spot.
48:07Yeah. I kind of really like this, just the way the board is kind of popular.
48:12Because I feel like the... Duff or Sutton, maybe?
48:14I don't know. Oh, I don't hate that either.
48:16Yeah, I don't hate that at all. I'm not saying Cortland Sutton's the reason that offense is like sputtered out of the gates or anything like that.
48:24But I mean, just looking at his age and then the play style.
48:27Like, if somebody said their comp for KJ Duff was Cortland Sutton, I'd be like, I don't hate that.
48:32He's a little bit bigger, but like, I don't hate that.
48:35Yeah, I don't hate that either. But I can also see this team being like position value, musician value, boards board, Villamia-Asa, pumping into Vance Joseph's veins.
48:42Yeah, I like Villamia-Asa with Vance Joseph. He's just a fun fit for that defense.
48:46Yeah, let's give him Villamia. Because I think we gave them either...
48:49We might have even given him Duff last time for the same reasons that we're just talking about now.
48:55I can't remember. So let's go with the linebacker.
48:57Yeah. And honestly, I can see by the end of this process, if Notre Dame ends up getting into the college football
49:03playoff, he gets a couple more national games under his belt.
49:06Because that's the other big downside for Notre Dame.
49:08It's like, you have the Miami game. Otherwise, like, not a whole lot of prime time.
49:12If there's a lot of eyes on Villamia-Asa, he's going to become like the dude...
49:16Kind of like Carson Swechinger. Different linebackers, I don't think.
49:19He has nearly the change direction skills that Swech did coming out of UCLA.
49:23But like, they're just going to be everyone's favorite player.
49:25And like, oh my god, the more you see this guy, the more you love him.
49:30So, fingers crossed, as an Notre Dame fan, we get into the college football playoff and everyone gets more KVA.
49:35Bears, I know we normally go D-line. And dude, you still could.
49:38But I'm not. So, we do it all the time, for one.
49:41And two, frankly, I think we've kind of exhausted options.
49:44You could go Yonsei Pierre, but he's not really a Dennis Allen type, really, in my eyes.
49:49Yeah. Trey Ory. Yeah. But I'm going to go Trevor Goosby.
49:52Is there a left tackle I'm, like, forgetting about?
49:54Did you guys... I mean, you guys drafted Trepilo a few years ago.
49:57We got Trepilo two years ago, but he kind of blew out his knee in the playoffs last year and has not looked...
50:04I mean, he's still recovering. He hasn't played the last couple weeks, but hasn't been...
50:08They've kind of rotated him in and out. I don't...
50:10As a Bears fan, I don't... I don't know if I would love the...
50:14I don't know if I would love that direction that they would go.
50:17I like the... Because I think Goosby is worth the 20th pick.
50:21But I could definitely see them going with Goosby.
50:23I could see that for sure. That fits Ben Johnson so well.
50:26Heavy under center play action. That's the offense that Trevor Goosby needs to be in.
50:30And specifically, if you got the Goosby of two years ago, where run blocking was a little better.
50:35Yeah. I think this makes total sense from a schematic standpoint.
50:38Also, Trepila played some right tackles. So you got some tackle flexibility there.
50:41He's played left and right at Boston College. Yeah.
50:44He could be a swing. Maybe he can be a swing guy just long term.
50:48And also, he was a day two pick. So I like...
50:51And also, like, Goosby just blew his knee out.
50:53So, like, you're not getting him anytime soon. So I kind of like drafting stashing Goosby there.
50:58He would be a great scheme fit if they can figure out what's going on with him in the run game.
51:03Get him completely healthy. And then, if... This could be, like...
51:06I don't know, the Josh Simmons thing has taken another twist.
51:09But this could be one of those situations where it's like, Oh, man.
51:13Good for the team that took that risk into the first round.
51:16They got a great football player at a spot that, just from the talent standpoint, wouldn't have been possible if they didn't...
51:22You know, without extenuating circumstances. Sure. All right. Bills.
51:24Bills don't have a ton of needs, you know, at this point.
51:27Good football team. Good football team. Yeah. They're probably going to be a Super Bowl contender.
51:31Dion Walker's been awesome. TJ Sanders has been fun.
51:34Ed Oliver's still there. Greg Rousseau has been great.
51:36So, I don't know if they need a defensive lineman.
51:39Go safety, maybe? Could go safety. Cole Bishop and DeMar Hamlin.
51:42DeMar Hamlin, they need an upgrade there. Could definitely go safety.
51:45Could be Tay Johnson. Has Tay... I haven't even really noticed.
51:48Is Tay Johnson back yet? Or is he still injured?
51:50Nah. Not yet? Okay. Another week. Okay. Yeah. They...
51:53Keon Coleman's been playing better. I don't know if he...
51:55Like, DJ Moore has been injured, but he'll be back.
51:58Clear Shakira is a guy I've always liked. So, like, they could go wide receiver, but it's not like...
52:03I don't know if it's necessarily a pressing need.
52:06Could they go interior offensive line? Could they go...
52:08Linebacker, maybe? I think five is not really another linebacker worth taking in the first.
52:12Now that... The Yamaha's off the board. Could they go with an edge rusher?
52:16I mean, they have Bradley Chubb, but he's old, obviously.
52:18Greg Rousseau has been playing good. But they could go with an edge rusher, potentially.
52:22Do they have anyone behind him? Did they draft anyone?
52:25Like, oh, they drafted TJ Parker in the second last year.
52:28Okay. Yeah. Hmm. This is a tough team to draft for.
52:31I'm going to just see who's kind of the best available.
52:34Could this be a peeper spot? Could this be a Yonsei Pierre spot?
52:37I know you didn't ask me, but honestly, I think he's good enough here.
52:41I don't think you have a... You think so?
52:43Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that is kind of... TJ Moore's in the twilight of his career.
52:48Yeah. Shakir, like... I mean, he's in his, like, mid-20s, technically, but, like...
52:51But he's just a guy. That type of player could go at any moment, you know?
52:55Yeah. Yeah. And Keon Coleman's been better, but he probably could still be more there.
52:59So... How much they throw it, if you got four wide, that's a good spot to find yourself.
53:04My problem is I like Deuce Alexander better than KJ Duff.
53:07Oh, wow. You're a Duff hater. I mean... I'm a Duff hater.
53:10I just don't think KJ Duff has the athleticism to be...
53:13And creates enough separation to be... Sure. And frankly, if they were to go...
53:17The biggest, like, ringing endorsement you could have for Keon Coleman is them drafting Deuce Alexander here, right?
53:22That would be, like, solidifying Keon Coleman's our guy on the outside.
53:25Deuce plus Shakir plus TJ Moore ready... I mean, I will say his speed plus Josh Allen's arm sounds pretty awesome.
53:30I'm going to go Deuce Alexander. I like Deuce Alexander better as a receiver.
53:34I think he creates more separation. He can be kind of your DJ Moore replacement.
53:38And that's the other thing, too, is, like, at any moment, that could go, too.
53:42And he's had some injuries. And he's been injured, and he's been injured for a couple years now.
53:47Like, on... Nothing serious, but nagging injuries. A lot of nagging injuries.
53:50So that could really, you know... Hot off the presses, Steve's a Duff doubter.
53:54Yeah, I am. What can I say? I hate...
53:56I'm not a fan of any wide receivers over, like, 6'5", to be honest.
54:00In my mind, you're a tight end. Yeah, sure.
54:02Yeah, yeah, yeah. I.E. 49ers. IDL's kind of an interesting thing to spotlight here as a need.
54:07Has it been that bad? I mean, I just go back to them.
54:10They just drafted Alfred Collins and... It's a kid from Indiana.
54:13CJ West. Mm-hmm. Plus Grayson Halton. I feel like Grayson Halton's been a baller.
54:17Yeah. Number 56 player on my board last year.
54:20But, you know, maybe that's just bias. But I feel like he's been awesome every time I look up.
54:25Osa Digizua. Maybe some flash plays more than substance.
54:27Could go Amari Washington. But, again, like, Alfred Collins.
54:29CJ West already there. Or... Peeper's an easy one to just slide in there.
54:33It's like an easy Jake Brendol upgrade or Connor Colby upgrade.
54:36At this point, I'm not really worried about tackle.
54:38Until Trent Williams hangs it up at the age of 52, I'm good to just let him keep doing his thing.
54:44Safety's interesting. Malik Mustafa was always my guy. I thought he was such a good player to get in the seventh round.
54:50But I think they could add someone else next to him.
54:53And Mustafa specifically has, like, been such a good downhill player.
54:56Like, Tay Johnson, when healthy, probably a higher ceiling.
54:58Lopa, I'm still thinking as a 28 guy. Love the change of direction in 6'5", though.
55:02Like, rare mover. But, like, Jalen McClain is almost the perfect complement to that downhill thumper that is Mustafa.
55:07And Mustafa's got some range over the top. And this is a zone-heavy defense.
55:11I'm kind of leaning towards McClain. Duff would make sense just because, like, Mike Evans...
55:15I don't know if you listened to the broadcast, but, like, the way they were describing him, they were like, he doesn't practice all week.
55:22They basically bubble wrap him, and then he shows up at kickoff.
55:25And that's, like... That's the Mike Evans experiment with San Francisco, and he still can't finish games.
55:30So we've seen the value of that play style.
55:32Do you go KJ Duff? I'm gonna go... I'm gonna go Jalen McClain.
55:35I really like that fit for Raheem Morris if he's back as a DC.
55:39And I like that next to Malik Mustafa. But just kind of want to walk people through my process there.
55:44Duff's a really fun name to throw in there.
55:47And you can't go wrong with Peeper either there.
55:49Yeah. I think I might have even said this last week, but Jalen McClain's the guy who goes in between, like, pick
55:5528 and 42 and just turns out to be, like, the best safety from the class.
55:59Or, like, one of the best players. Because he's just a good player.
56:03Not saying Stooks is gonna be better than Caleb Downs or anything like that, but, like, Stooks was...
56:08He went 36 last year to the Raiders. So it's like...
56:11There's a lot of... We said it with receiver earlier.
56:13That top of the second-round window, receiver and safety, there's always really good options there once you make that turn.
56:19100%. All right, now the Chiefs on the clock.
56:21And I know... I know I'm a hater. But I can't think of someone that the Kansas City Chiefs need more than KJ Duff here.
56:28I mean, that game against the Seahawks, they just couldn't get anything going offensively because they don't have a receiver on the roster that's worth anything.
56:35And KJ Duff is that extra receiver that they need.
56:37I think it makes Xavier Worthy a little bit better.
56:40You know, not that he's gonna be, like, amazing, because I think he is what he is.
56:44But it gives him a little bit... A better chance of being used properly.
56:48And all these other guys, too. So give him KJ Duff and hope for the best.
56:52Dude, there was this one... You probably saw it on SportsCenter today.
56:56It's, like, part of the Chiefs miscues or whatever.
56:58I saw it as I was working from home today with First Take or whatever it was on.
57:03Get up. Whatever it was. There's, like, this 15-and-out from Kelsey that, like, Mahomes leaves out in front of him.
57:08And, like, just from, you know, the replay, it's like, oh, Mahomes missed him.
57:12But it's more like Kelsey don't move like he used to, and he's just not getting to a spot.
57:17And, like, Duff's not... Like you said earlier, he's not, like, the world's greatest athlete.
57:21But just, like, imagine a receiver running that 15-and-out.
57:23But they're, like, leaning on Kelsey because, like, it's among the best they have for that.
57:28So, yeah. They need to... And, honestly, Cyrus Allen.
57:30He's a little redundant with Rasheed Rice once he's back.
57:33But however you make it work, they gotta have Cyrus Allen out there.
57:36Every time he's on the field, he's a playmaker for him.
57:39For sure. And then he gets to the Minnesota Vikings.
57:42You know, just like we said, the Chargers, everyone expected.
57:44The last winless team and the Vikings. The last undefeated squad.
57:47You really can't go wrong in so many of these places.
57:50Frankly, with what they've done with Dallas Turner, I kind of want to see what they would do with Yonsei Pierre.
57:56Just, I'll sit back and wait two years if it takes that.
57:59But, like, oh, man. They've done such a good job scheming it up for Dallas Turner.
58:03Peeper, frankly, is kind of my lean here. Great scheme fit for KOC.
58:07And they need to overhaul guard and center. So, here's a guy that could be either one.
58:11Kind of like shades of what Zabel was for the Seahawks a couple seasons ago.
58:15Traore, kind of the same thinking, but, like, a little bit of a different package from Yonsei Pierre.
58:20If they didn't just draft two de-tackles, I'd be thinking about Washington here.
58:23Hawkinson's still playing okay, but you could go tight end.
58:26And you could think quarterback, but I think this, I think KOC wants to go the veteran route.
58:31Like, especially when you see, like, J.J. McCarthy, you know, show a little something-something this last week.
58:35And, you know, the fourth quarter of the week before that.
58:38You kind of look at the Viking situation. You're like, hmm.
58:41Kind of wish there was a sub-25-year-old quarterback with some upside and good arm to kind of develop here.
58:46Wait in the wings. Wouldn't it be nice? I'd give up a fifth-round pick for that.
58:51Oh, wait. So, at this point, I think that move is so indicative of, like, where KOC's mind's at.
58:56So, could we go Lenore Sellers here and have this conversation?
58:59Yeah. And maybe they, you know, give Kyler Murray a one-year contract and they just have the super-sized Kyler Murray waiting in the wings.
59:05Maybe. But I think this team's going to go the veteran route.
59:08And, again, we had the Sellers conversation earlier. He's been awesome.
59:11Don't want to knock him off and discredit him.
59:14Give me two more weeks of that and I'm fully buying it.
59:17And he'll be the next first-round mock. No doubt about it.
59:20And also, just saying. If this mock plays out exactly how it is, that means the Minnesota Vikings won the Super Bowl.
59:26So, I don't think they'd be moving on. They'd probably just be bringing back Kyler Murray.
59:30Your Super Bowl quarterback. Super Bowl winning quarterback Kyler Murray.
59:32Yeah. Which, you know, speaking of things on our bingo board.
59:35Duh. So, I would peeper there. But I will say, if you haven't watched Evan Tingsdahl from Cincinnati, that's a good football player.
59:42That's a good football player. He might be more of that, kind of like where the Cardinals got a kid from A&M last year.
59:48What was his name? Chase Passantis. Maybe it's more that range, like that 37, 38, 39 spot for Tingsdahl.
59:53But he's a good football player. But, anyways, that's going to do it.
59:56That's all 32 picks. Who's your favorite squad? Let us know down below in the comment section what you think of each and every pick.
60:03I'd love to hear your thoughts. Also, shout out maybe just some favorite player-to-team combinations.
60:07Maybe a fit that you haven't thought of before or haven't seen in a mock draft.
60:11And today, we made it possible. Steve, offense, defense, any player-team fits the year that stand out?
60:16I like the Xavier Gillum pick to the Saints a lot.
60:19That's my guy. I think he's just playing so – he's been far and away the best defensive tackle in college football.
60:25He's worthy of the top-ten pick. And then I – shout out myself.
60:28I like the Jermire Johnson to the Lions. I think that makes some – assuming Sam Laporta isn't brought back, which it
60:34seems that's the direction they're going to go. He can block.
60:37He can catch. He can kind of – Sam Laporta's not even a bad comp for him, to be honest.
60:42So, that's kind of a natural replacement. I thought you were going to pat yourself on the back for the Deuce Alexander pick there, too.
60:49That one, too. I mean, all my picks were good.
60:52It's hard to pick your favorite child, you know.
60:54Manic humility, folks. I'll shout out two defensive ones.
60:56Chris Cole to the Bucs. Like, I was a huge Josiah Trotter guy last year.
61:00He's my off-ball linebacker three. Trotter plus Chris Cole has, like, two heat-seeking missiles in the middle of your defense.
61:06I don't know if you'll be good, but your defense is going to – they're going to have some helmets to collect there for sure.
61:12And then Jalen McLean to the 49ers. I don't know.
61:15We just haven't really done that before, and I really like how that one kind of came together.
61:20If I could give you an offensive one besides Jaden Ball to the Dallas Cowboys, because that one's kind of a duh.
61:26Ravens, Nick Marsh. As a Steelers fan, this makes me want to die a little bit.
61:30But Nick Marsh to the Ravens. It's like that's how you take that offense from really good to, like, shit, how do you stop this?
61:37You know, type of levels of, like, nonsense. But, yeah, that's going to do it for our latest 2027 NFL Mock Draft.
61:42Again, leave us your thoughts down below in the comment section.
61:45Who's your squad? Or maybe was there just some player-to-team fits that really stood out to you?
61:50Steve, later this week, what do you think? We're doing a little producing here live.
61:54What do you think? Maybe we throw a second round onto this.
61:57Ooh, yeah, we could do that. Out of this one?
62:00Yeah, I like that. Yeah, I like that. Maybe that's what we're doing.
62:03I know there's some other people who put up mock drafts, too.
62:06So, I don't know. It might be a second round somewhere here in the viewer's future.
