Aaron Jones

PositiveUsage3:00

Aaron Jones is playing out of his mind this year despite a sprained MCL. He needed a break in recent weeks but remains a key part of the Vikings' dominant defense-first offense. If Jonathan Taylor were traded to Minnesota, it would kill Jones' role immediately.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveRole44:29

Rookie wide receiver for Washington Commanders showing efficiency all season but limited opportunity; with Terry McLaurin likely out for the rest of the season, Williams could step into a bigger role. Source notes he's been showing out but hasn't had the full opportunity to materialize his efficiency.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout45:14

Williams is a rookie wide receiver for the Washington Commanders who has been showing out all season with strong efficiency metrics, but hasn't yet had the full opportunity to materialize that production into consistent fantasy output. The source implies he has untapped upside if his opportunities increase.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection62:10

The source expresses concern about Bo Nix's actual quality heading into the 2026 season, noting he was drafted as QB5 in his class but hasn't grown or instilled confidence in his second year. Despite finishing top-seven as a quarterback last year, he's taking a step back in accuracy and passing efficiency this season, compounded by offensive coordinator changes and poor recent performance (15 completions, 200 yards in a recent game). The source describes this as potentially a 'fool's gold' situation and would prefer to trade him for a more certain quarterback if possible.

Insight page
NegativeValue64:04

Bo Nix has slipped to QB20 in dynasty rankings, positioned between Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbert, Fernando Mendoza, and Dak Prescott ahead of him, and Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Matt Stafford, Kyler Murray, and Michael Penix behind him. The source describes him as in a 'no man's land' tier—outside the guys you actively want and outside the guys you don't want. Despite the rough start, he's still had 30-point games mixed in with significant stinkers, suggesting his stock remains relatively high for potential trades.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveRole13:00

Brian Thomas Jr. has been rumored as a trade candidate since week three or four, with ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reporting that league executives believe he could be traded in the next couple weeks. Rumored landing spots include Chiefs, Steelers, Rams, Raiders, Commanders, and 49ers. The source believes the 49ers landing is more wish-casting. Thomas would not go for cheap; the Jaguars likely expect a first-round pick or equivalent capital. On any of these contending teams, his situation would be much better than Jacksonville, and he could gain value for the future even if not this season.

Insight page
NegativeValue46:19

Source identifies Brian Thomas Jr. as a dark horse with immediate value-spike potential if traded, particularly to Kansas City Chiefs; source acquired him for a second and third, noting potential to flip him for better assets if trade materializes. Source emphasizes he's on every rebuilding team roster due to his value, though concentration risk exists if trade doesn't happen.

Insight page
PositiveValue47:48

The source identifies Brian Thomas Jr. as a dark horse candidate available for less than a first-round pick in dynasty leagues, citing belief that he won't be traded; however, acknowledges that a first is likely his actual market price given trade hype.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection37:50

Young is looking pretty solid as an NFL quarterback and passer, supporting the Panthers offense and Jalen Coker's breakout potential.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeInjury50:47

CeeDee Lamb has missed quite a few games this season and is already going to be hurt this season, which impacts Dallas's WR depth and creates opportunity for secondary receivers.

Insight page

Colby Parkinson

NegativeRole41:25

Parkinson is part of the crowded Rams tight end rotation alongside Higbee, Ferguson, and Davis Allen. The source notes that McVay's system distributes targets unpredictably across multiple tight end options, making it difficult to project consistent production from any single option in the room.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart41:30

Parkinson is on the last year of his deal with the Rams, meaning he could exit after this season, opening opportunity for Terrence Ferguson.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeInjury67:30

Davante Adams is mentioned as a potential trade piece that would have been attractive to pair with younger receivers like Denzel Boston, but his recent injury has diminished his value as a trade asset.

Insight page

Davis Allen

NegativeUsage43:12

Davis Allen recently had a productive game with two touchdowns on four receptions and 20 yards, exemplifying the unpredictability of the Rams tight end room. The source uses this as evidence that McVay's system can elevate any of the multiple tight ends in the rotation on any given week, making it difficult to identify a consistent target.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeValue30:42

Boston has been impressive for the Browns but is ranked below Judkins on Fantasy Calc at 2638 (age 23) versus Judkins' 2956. The source notes Boston was a first-round draft pick, whereas Judkins may have been available later, making Judkins a better value play. The source was not a huge Boston believer coming out of the draft and prefers Judkins' upside.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout66:07

Denzel Boston is identified as the primary young wide receiver target, with potential to become the Browns' WR1. The source views him as having the highest ceiling among the young receiver prospects (Lemon, Bernard, Coker) due to his youth and the Browns' ascending offensive trajectory. Boston is the main guy the source is trying to target in trades, and he's positioned as the top choice in a tier of young receivers all priced around a first-round pick.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeRole30:42

Watson is a free agent next year, creating uncertainty for Browns offensive weapons like Judkins and Boston. The source notes Watson has been better than expected this season and the offense hasn't been inept, but his contract status means the team may pursue other quarterback options or trades.

Insight page
PositiveProjection53:10

The source identifies Deshaun Watson as the most likely of three quarterback dark horses (Watson, Mac Jones, JJ McCarthy) to secure and maintain a starting role next year. Watson has played well enough that barring a complete collapse in the remaining 10 games, he will land another job somewhere; the Browns could re-sign him or other QB-needy teams might pursue him. The source feels safest about Watson's potential compared to McCarthy (who threw 250 yards on 28 passes with no TDs against Houston) and Jones (viewed as a perpetual backup).

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeRole17:00

There were talks about potentially shutting down DeVonta Smith for the rest of the season. The Eagles coach was not very committal when asked if Smith would continue to play, suggesting the team may rest him or reduce his role.

Insight page
NegativeInjury20:42

Smith is dealing with recurring hamstring issues and the Eagles coaching staff was non-committal about his return, raising shutdown concerns. He missed weeks 4-5 earlier in the season, returned for one week, then suffered a re-aggravation and missed week 7. The source notes these nagging hamstring injuries can linger throughout the season, and with the Eagles potentially retooling and not playing for anything, there's risk they won't push him back too soon.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart66:30

Devonta Smith's presence in the Eagles offense is cited as a factor limiting Makai Lemon's upside, combined with the Eagles' run-first offensive approach and uncertain future direction.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveRole33:54

London is coming to life in the Falcons offense with Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback, benefiting from increased target volume as Penix feeds his weapons.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeInjury50:50

George Pickens is working through a shoulder injury that he played through during the current season; his free agency status is uncertain and could impact Dallas's WR depth chart.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeProjection54:00

The source is skeptical of JJ McCarthy's long-term prospects despite some excitement around him. McCarthy threw for 250 yards on 28 passes with no touchdowns against Houston, and the source believes he is limited in what he can become unless he lands a coordinator who can significantly elevate his game. The source does not expect McCarthy to have a long career.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveBreakout37:50

Coker is a buy-low candidate entering the right scheme under Bryce Young and the Panthers offense. Despite a down game against Tampa Bay (where the Panthers were boat-raced), the source believes Coker is finally getting the opportunity to break out. The source values him around a mid-to-late 2027 first, approaching but not quite at a 2028 first yet. Coker was not a highly drafted prospect, so he may be available on waivers or at a discount in trades. The source recommends buying before his value explodes.

Insight page
NegativeValue66:07

Jalen Coker is ranked fourth among the young wide receiver prospects, with the source viewing him as the least attractive option due to his injury history and third-line status in the Panthers offense behind Ted Arola and ascending Bryce Young. The source suggests Coker could be traded away to acquire one of the younger, higher-ceiling receivers like Denzel Boston.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveValue64:04

Jalen Hurts is ranked ahead of Bo Nix in dynasty QB rankings and is mentioned as a potential trade target for Bo Nix owners looking to upgrade at the position. The source suggests that trading Bo Nix for Hurts could be a reasonable move, though the age difference (two years) is a consideration for rebuilding teams.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveUsage6:30

Javante Williams just scored a rushing touchdown, which is what the Cowboys need to do to win games. This is part of the Cowboys' offensive strategy to put up points even against backup quarterbacks.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveRole0:00

Trade rumors suggest Jonathan Taylor could be dealt to a contending team (Seahawks, Vikings, Packers, or Broncos) before the November 12th deadline. Going to an offense competing for playoffs and Super Bowl would unleash his true natural ability; his career is not cooked despite significant contract. Wherever he lands, it will be better than the Colts' current offensive situation, and any team trading for him would make him the main guy, not a platoon back.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeRole3:30

Jordan Mason returned this week but did not light the league on fire. His return did not significantly impact the Vikings' dominant defense-first approach, which continues to win games regardless of offensive production.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveRole7:00

Josh Downs is rumored to be traded before the November 12th deadline if the Colts lose their next couple of games. Top landing spots include Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, Rams, Raiders, and Vikings. On the Chiefs, Downs would be a more polished route runner than Rasheed Rice and could unlock his potential with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid's scheme.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue32:35

Jacobs is a buy-low candidate worth approximately a 2028 first. He looked good returning to the Packers and hasn't lost a step despite age concerns. In his first game back, he didn't even play a full snap share, suggesting more upside ahead. The source notes he's a good acquisition for contending teams needing a running back.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveRole4:00

Jefferson is the focal point of the Vikings' ground-and-pound, defense-first offense. Despite playing with a game-managing quarterback (Kyler Murray), Jefferson has not complained and is getting his targets over the top. The Vikings' elite defense and coaching staff make this a winning situation for him.

Insight page

Khalil Herbert

PositiveUsage33:54

Herbert is getting involved in the Falcons backfield despite Bijan Robinson being available, with the source noting he's too shifty to not get playing time.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveRole33:54

Pitts is getting increased opportunities in the Falcons offense with Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback, though the source notes Khalil Herbert is also getting involved in the backfield.

Insight page

Mac Jones

NegativeProjection54:24

The source views Mac Jones as destined to remain a perpetual backup rather than a starting quarterback. Despite people wanting him as a backup option, the source does not see him developing into a viable starter.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveBreakout20:31

Lemon is emerging as a breakout candidate with the Eagles retooling and potentially shutting down Devontae Smith due to recurring hamstring issues. Against Dallas in week 7, Lemon had 7 catches on 8 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown. With favorable upcoming matchups (Washington, New York, Dallas again, Arizona, Indianapolis), the source projects Lemon could reach a 2028 first in value by season's end if he continues producing. The source notes Lemon was originally drafted around pick 103-104 and is worth buying on rebuilding teams, especially given the Eagles' potential coaching staff changes and Jalen Hurts' season-ending injury.

Insight page
PositiveValue66:07

Makai Lemon is highlighted as one of the top young wide receiver prospects to target in dynasty, competing with Denzel Boston, Jeremy Bernard, and Jalen Coker. The source prefers Lemon for his talent and respects his target share, though concerns about the Eagles' future offensive direction and Devonta Smith's presence create some uncertainty about his long-term projection.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection20:00

Malik Nabers was the source's wide receiver one at the beginning of the draft season before pivoting to other options. He had some personality concerns during the offseason and draft season, but the source still believes in his talent and potential value gains.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveBreakout33:33

Penix is a breakout candidate the source has been buying in dynasty portfolios. He was drafted too low as a suspected starting quarterback and has looked really good since being rushed back due to Tua's poor play. Penix is feeding his weapons (Drake London, Kyle Pitts) and recently beat the 49ers. The source values him around a 2028 first (comparable to Casey Concepcion, Omar Cooper), potentially rising to a late first or early second. The source projects Penix could be drafted as a top-12 quarterback in startups next season, realistic given his career trajectory and ability to play into his 30s.

Insight page
NegativeValue65:00

Michael Penix is ranked behind Bo Nix in dynasty QB rankings but is discussed as a potential downgrade target. The source notes that most people would view a trade from Bo Nix to Michael Penix as a 'tear down,' suggesting Penix believers would need to add significant additional assets on top of Bo Nix to make such a deal work.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

PositiveRole25:45

Pittman has been non-existent in the Colts offense with Jeremy Bernard emerging as the primary target for Aaron Rodgers. The source notes Pittman was just signed this offseason to a decent contract, creating uncertainty about his role going forward, especially with a new quarterback potentially arriving.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeProjection10:00

Patrick Mahomes looked distressed and rattled in Sunday Night Football against the Seahawks, missing wide-open throws and appearing like a beaten man. However, this may be an anomaly; he could have been sick (flu has been going around) or just had an off game. The source still believes Mahomes has it and will bounce back.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveBreakout30:42

Judkins is a prospect with top-8 to top-10 dynasty running back upside who has been overlooked due to the Browns' earlier struggles and recent offensive storylines. The source prefers Judkins over Denzel Boston due to higher ceiling potential and current undervaluation. On Fantasy Calc, Judkins is ranked 2956 (age 23), above Boston's 2638. The source notes many analysts liked Judkins right behind Jaylen Warren coming out of the draft, and he could reach a 2028 first in value before prices escalate. The source recommends buying before the two-future-first valuation materializes.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeInjury9:00

Rasheed Rice has a lingering hamstring-thigh injury that continues to linger even after the Chiefs' bye week. For fast-twitched slot receivers, this type of injury can be nagging and persistent. Rice is also on or needing a contract extension, and may be a trade candidate if the Chiefs pursue Josh Downs.

Insight page

Ryan Flournoy

PositiveBreakout48:33

The source highlights Ryan Flournoy as a dark horse candidate for Dallas Cowboys who has performed well as WR3 in a prolific passing offense; projects that if George Pickens leaves in free agency, Flournoy could step into a WR2 role and produce elite WR2 numbers (70 catches, 1000 yards, 5 TDs) that would elevate him to Tee Higgins or Devonta Smith tier value; notes he can be acquired for a third-round pick from desperate teams.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper51:21

The source views Ryan Flournoy as a dark horse value play in late-round dynasty drafts, particularly if the Cowboys let Pickens walk. Despite being an older prospect (roughly 25 when entering the league), Flournoy has produced and shown good rapport with Dak Prescott and the offense. The source suggests he could be a decent startable guy week-to-week and would see a rise in value if Pickens departs or if there's an injury, making him a worthwhile speculative third-round pick in contender rosters with extra picks.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeRole17:00

The Eagles are potentially looking to trade Saquon Barkley as they retool and potentially become sellers. This is part of broader speculation about the Eagles' direction if they continue to struggle.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeValue67:30

Tee Higgins is mentioned as a potential trade piece in dynasty deals, specifically as a 'middle round guy' that could be traded away along with additional assets to acquire younger, higher-ceiling receivers like Denzel Boston. The source suggests pairing Higgins with Boston plus other producing veterans as a savvy trade strategy.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveBreakout40:39

Ferguson is a breakout candidate in tight end premium leagues, materializing the potential the source wanted to see from Ben Sennett. He was the starter above Tyler Higbee and Colby Parkinson to begin the season before suffering an injury and landing on IR with no clear return timeline. The source values him around a 2029 first (J.J. McCarthy, Travis Etienne range) and recommends buying him at a discount. Higbee is signed through next year, but Parkinson is on the last year of his deal, positioning Ferguson for increased opportunity.

Insight page
PositiveValue41:25

Ferguson is currently on IR with no real timeline to return, but represents a buy-low opportunity in dynasty leagues. His trade value sits around 1926 on Fantasy Calc, roughly equivalent to a second-round pick or in the J.J. McCarthy/Travis Etienne range. The source believes he could be a top-five tight end in the near future given the potent Rams passing offense, and wants to acquire him on as many teams as possible to capitalize on the depressed valuation while he's sidelined.

Insight page
NegativeRole43:05

Ferguson has a higher ceiling than other Rams tight ends (Higbee, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen) in terms of athletic ability and upside, but the Rams' tight end room remains crowded and unpredictable. McVay's system has shown multiple tight ends can produce in any given week, making it difficult to project which option will deliver value. Ferguson's injury status and the uncertainty around Matthew Stafford's future (potential retirement) add additional complexity to his outlook.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeRole12:00

Travis Kelce is mentioned as a combo-break option in the middle of the field for the Chiefs offense. If Josh Downs is acquired, he could work alongside Kelce to give Patrick Mahomes easy targets and throws.

Insight page

Tua Tagovailoa

NegativeProjection33:33

Tua was not impressing the Falcons coaching staff, prompting them to rush Michael Penix Jr. back from injury. The source notes Tua was 'as bad as he was,' forcing the team's hand to accelerate Penix's return.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeDepth Chart41:10

Higbee signed a two-year deal at the beginning of the season, meaning he will be with the Rams through this year and next, blocking some of Terrence Ferguson's immediate opportunity.

Insight page
NegativeRole41:25

Higbee was initially the lead tight end for the Rams to start the season before Ferguson's injury, but the position has become unpredictable. Recent weeks have seen other Rams tight ends like Davis Allen produce (two touchdowns on four receptions), illustrating McVay's tendency to distribute targets across multiple tight end options rather than establishing a clear hierarchy.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeRole2:00

If Jonathan Taylor is traded to the Seahawks, Charbonnet would likely disappear from the offense. The source expects Charbonnet and other Seahawks running backs (Holani, Emmanuel Wilson) to be phased out if Taylor arrives, as the team would not platoon a high-cost trade acquisition.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout45:12

Source believes Charbonnet could return from injury and steal the running back role; source saw workout videos of him coming off injury and assessed that he looks good, expressing confidence with 'what are we waiting for, guys? Put him in.'

0:00J-Mac, did you hear where Jonathan Taylor's getting traded to?
0:03Nuh-uh. Spill the tea bro. Future's now! What a do!
0:06Defeated Niners for you. This is Future First Podcast where we help you win today with a Future First mindset.
0:12I'm your co-host J-Mac here with my co-host Jose.
0:15What up dude? Yeah man, 49ers took a loss.
0:18Chiefs took a loss. What is that? The Vikings only undefeated team left, right?
0:22But yeah man, we got a Trade Rumors Spectacular here to kick off the show.
0:27Jonathan Taylor, a lot of other big names maybe getting traded.
0:30Going to be a fun one I think. Let's get into it man.
0:34You ready for the quick hit? Let's do it.
0:37Alright, on the quick hit, you alluded to it at the top.
0:40Let's talk about the Trade Rumors dude. Cause I mean there's a lot flying.
0:45We got the November, was the November 12th trade deadline, right?
0:48So that's, you know, the Tuesday after week eight games.
0:51Or sorry, not week eight, week nine games here.
0:54And we had some big names being tossed around of people that are interested in.
0:58And let's start with the Colts because there's two names for the Colts that are getting thrown down here.
1:04One of them being Jonathan Taylor. Let's start there man.
1:07Jonathan Taylor, could he get dealt? It's crazy man.
1:10I heard the Colts saying that they wanted to wait to see how these next couple of weeks go and see where
1:17their records at before they, you know, push in to the rebuild mode here and get going.
1:22But yeah, the landing spots that we've seen for Jonathan Taylor, the Seahawks were one of them.
1:27I think the Vikings were also one of them and there was another one involved.
1:32I don't know if you can pull it off the top of your head, but give me your thoughts on this man.
1:39Yeah, I mean, I think for if you're Jonathan Taylor manager him going to an offense that's competing for the playoffs competing
1:45to try to make a playoff run in a Super Bowl run is only a good thing in terms of his potential
1:52to kind of unleash his true natural ability that he still has.
1:56I don't think his career is cooked. It is a pretty significant contract.
2:00I know we're going to talk about Saquon and his ability to get potentially traded, but instead of like Saquon's contract, JT
2:06people would be on the hook if they traded for him.
2:10So, you know, I've heard the Seahawks. I mean, the Seahawks platoon of running backs.
2:14They just drafted one in the first. They have Charbonnet there.
2:18They have Holani. They have, you know, Emmanuel Wilson, but I think pretty much all those guys just disappear.
2:23I wouldn't be surprised if like Holani got cut and maybe even like Emmanuel was I don't know what they put.
2:30They paid him. But, you know, going into the later stages of the season because if they make a trade for Jonathan
2:37Taylor one, it's not potentially going to be cheap.
2:39And two, you're not trading for a guy like Jonathan Taylor to put him into a platoon of running backs.
2:46Yeah, man, that you wouldn't that would feel so bad, right?
2:49It would just kill Zach Charbonnet would kill Jonathan Taylor if we had that.
2:53But honestly, it's kind of what the Seahawks are just doing to the running backs that we have there.
2:59Emmanuel Wilson's been doing somewhat of a decent job when he's had the bell call rule there.
3:04So if Jonathan Taylor did get that rule, bro, he would he would feast in that offense and that offense, that team would just be unstoppable.
3:12So I really hope for the Niners sake that that trade doesn't happen.
3:16But it's not like it's much better for these other trade suitors.
3:20I pulled it up. It is the Vikings as the top one.
3:23There's also the Packers, which are maybe that is gone and done now that Josh Jacobs is back.
3:29But the Denver Broncos also being another one, which also feels a little bit unlikely here.
3:34They're they got three running backs that they're that would that would kill a lot of them if they went and gotten JT and that killed JT, too.
3:42Like I just hate the Broncos offense for any fantasy asset.
3:46It sucks all the way around. But the Vikings could be interesting, man.
3:50Aaron Jones is playing out of his mind this year on a sprained MCL on top of that.
3:55They got they got Jordan Mason back this week, but it wasn't.
3:59You know, I think Jones got hurt. No, he didn't play a lot of this week.
4:04So it kind of made sense. Right. I mean, the dude has a sprained MCL.
4:08He needed a break. But it's not like Jordan Mason came back and was, you know, lighting the league on fire and really help.
4:16I mean, they got the win, which is baffling how these Vikings are seven and oh now with, you know, like Kyler Murray.
4:23They had their by-week already. Yeah. Six and oh without Kyler Murray throwing for any substantial amount of yardage or potency here.
4:30So it's really their defense is winning. I saw a meme the other day where it was like the guy pretending to be the play caller.
4:38And he's like, what is it? First down, kick the field goal.
4:41It's first down. It doesn't matter. Kick the field goal.
4:44If we miss it, it goes on defense. And who's more likely to score the offense or the defense?
4:50Exactly. Yeah, I mean, it would be like, yeah, that's amazing.
4:53I mean, it honestly would be one of the most like old school ways of football and trying to win a Super Bowl.
5:00It's like you have a somewhat capable quarterback who can make some throws.
5:04You're just asking him basically to game manage though, because you have an elite defense and you're just going to ground and
5:11pound the ball with Jefferson over the top. I mean, Jefferson on his career hasn't been somebody that's complained a ton.
5:18I mean, he's played with a bunch of horrible quarterbacks.
5:21So maybe if they're winning games for him, it's it.
5:24That's enough. Like that's getting it done. So it would be very interesting.
5:28I don't hate that for Jonathan Taylor. It would be going to a very serious contender.
5:33I understand that Kyler Murray has not looked like anything special, but that defense is.
5:37And I think they have a great coaching staff and special teams.
5:41So it would be very interesting to see him there.
5:44I think it does kill Aaron Jones and Jared, you know, Jordan Mason off the bat.
5:49I do think that anybody that trades for Jonathan Taylor is going to cost a decent amount.
5:54So for that team, I don't see it being the level of malpractice of saying, hey, we're training for this guy to
6:01make a run and we're not going to have him be a center part or at least the main guy.
6:07Right. Like I don't see him going to basically any situation and him not being the guy.
6:12So I think wherever he goes, it's going to be better than what the Colts have been able to show on offense and they've been able to do.
6:21So I'd be pretty excited. I don't have a lot of time for Jonathan Taylor, but I do enjoy just watching good
6:27football and watching a guy like Jonathan Taylor do his thing.
6:31Yeah, 100 percent. And Javante Williams just scored a Russian touchdown for you.
6:35So that should win your match. I know you're waiting for that one here.
6:39I was I was counting the yards as he was going and I was like, are they going to even get it?
6:46But in that last play, it looked like the Eagles just let him score.
6:50It looked like the Eagles wanted to get the ball back because they didn't even really put up a fight.
6:56But yeah, it's good to see. I mean, this is what the Cowboys got to do to win games, even against back
7:03of quarterbacks has put up 40 points basically. But yeah, man, it's a nice it's a nice win, I guess.
7:09It is. Let's switch back to the trade topic here and let's talk about the other teammate for the Colts here, which
7:16is Josh Downs, who's been getting some buzz as of lately.
7:19He's and again, I think this all just kind of rides on how the Colts are going to do over these next couple of weeks.
7:27So if we see them, you know, they lost already to the Vikings this week, this past week and week seven.
7:33If we see him lose next week and then again in week nine.
7:37It's probably looking like these guys are going to get traded.
7:40So just keep that in the back of your mind if you're trying to, you know, profit or, you know, capitalize on
7:47these kind of rumors here is the timing matters.
7:50And you can kind of play the market and, you know, try to read the tea leaves as things are happening.
7:56Maybe you make a trade in game as you the Colts are getting blown out or something like that.
8:02But the top landing spots that we have here for Josh Downs are the Kansas City Chiefs, which we had to talk about here.
8:10You know, they've been linked to looking for receiver help.
8:13The Pittsburgh Steelers is another one, which I mean, hey, they're winning.
8:16It's a day. They got to make a run and they don't have Michael Pittman as good as Jeremy Bernard has looked.
8:23They only have him and DK Metcalf to really count on.
8:26So some depth would probably go a long way for them.
8:30And the Seattle Seahawks is another one, the Rams, the Raiders and the Vikings.
8:34The Chiefs is probably the most interesting here. So let's talk about that, man.
8:38How would you like Josh Downs on the Chiefs?
8:41I'd love it. I mean, it would be almost not a Rasheed Rice because I think Downs is a more polished route runner than Rice is.
8:49But honestly, any pass catcher that goes to the Chiefs would be an exciting addition if, you know, they're a capable player.
8:56I think most people have a positive feeling about Downs.
8:59I think it would be probably the best quarterback he's played with in his entire career, obviously, with the best schemer and, you know, offensive mind.
9:07So you could maybe fully unlock Josh Downs. I don't think when Rice is healthy, it necessarily would hurt him.
9:13I think they'd be the two main wide receivers playing, especially Taequann Thornton's out.
9:17And I don't think the Chiefs, if they continue, you know, they want to continue to waste Pat Mahomes years without, you
9:24know, some sort of serviceable to good wide receiver.
9:27Like they thought they had Rice in the whole suspension, the car, the incident he's rehabbing in jail, all those things.
9:33But now he's had the hamstring injury, which seems to be lingering even after their bye week and all that.
9:39So I think they just can't continue to waste Mahomes' prime.
9:43So them being aggressive here would make sense. We've said that before about the Chiefs.
9:47And, you know, with Kenneth Walker, they definitely did that in the offseason.
9:51But you need to do more. He needs a reliable pass catcher.
9:55In this last game, this last week, Mahomes didn't look like himself.
9:58He looked rattled. He looked kind of bad. But, you know, not every quarterback's going to play, you know, their best game every game of the season.
10:07So I still think Mahomes has, you know, got it.
10:10He's shown it in other games this season. So I think it'd be great.
10:14It'd be, I think, I don't know. How do you feel?
10:17Do you think Josh Downs would be the better receiver in that group if it's a healthy Rice?
10:23Or would you still kind of favor Rice as the number one there?
10:27Yeah, that'd be really interesting to me because they do kind of want to occupy the same role.
10:32And Rice has been so good in it. But it's been with previous offensive coordinators in a different style of offense.
10:39And he hasn't been completely healthy this year. So it's hard to say whether it's the injury is causing his dip in
10:46production this year or if it's the change in offensive scheme.
10:49Something tells me it's the injury if they're going after a wide receiver.
10:53The Chiefs are looking for a wide receiver like Josh Downs here because they kind of want that role in that offense.
11:00And they don't really have that right now. Yeah, man.
11:03But you are right. Like Patrick Mahomes last night on Sunday Night Football just looked distressed and like a beaten man.
11:09Just like the looks that he had on his face were just like disbelief.
11:13And, you know, like a lot of just sadness in his eyes.
11:17Like he couldn't fathom that this was happening to him.
11:20But the Seahawks defense will do that to you, man.
11:23Like, I mean, Mahomes just didn't look himself either.
11:26He was missing all over the place. Yeah, wide open throws.
11:29Yeah. It was kind of wild. So I think he does bounce back.
11:33You know, maybe he was just like sick or something like that.
11:37The flu has been going around. That's not the Jordan flu game that we were expecting from Patrick Mahomes.
11:43But it could be something like that. But, yeah, I would like Josh Downs.
11:47I mean, I think that he would fill that role.
11:50And I don't know that Rice is going to be healthy this year.
11:54Rice also is on or needing a contract extension.
11:57Josh Downs, if they traded for him, is also going to be a free agent at the end of this year.
12:03So that would be another interesting, you know, dynamic that you need to pay attention to here if you're trading for either one of those players.
12:11Like maybe Rice is just a trade away right now if you can.
12:15I mean, we've been saying it all offseason. So hopefully you could trade him.
12:20But, yeah, the window hasn't really opened to kind of get him off the team there.
12:24Yeah, it's been unfortunate. He, you know, was rehabbing and then got re-injured.
12:28And now it's a lingering hamstring thigh injury, which, you know, for guys that are fast twitched in the slot, that always
12:35seems like it could be a nagging thing that continues to go on.
12:39So maybe it is just an insurance play if that is where Downs goes to cover.
12:44Hey, we can figure it out if they're both healthy.
12:47But if Rice continues to miss time, we need somebody in that slot.
12:51We will need somebody to, you know, combo break with Kelsey and break that middle of the field and just give, you
12:58know, Mahomes some easy targets, easy throws. They could definitely move him around the field, too.
13:03If they realized what they had, if they went and got him, they should know that he's just not a slot-only player.
13:09You know, he can move to the outside and win out there, too.
13:13So that'd be great. I sold a lot of my Josh Downs in the offseason because I stayed disciplined to my true self-design.
13:20I sold on the hype and it was feeling good until these trade rumors started coming up.
13:26Yeah, 100%. All right. Let's talk about one more that we probably should talk about.
13:30He needs to get some love here because it's one of our favorites in the offseason who hasn't really panned out for us.
13:37And that's Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
13:40He has been rumored, I don't know, pretty much since like week three or week four to be a trade candidate.
13:46Things are starting to heat up. We had Jeremy Fowler from ESPN say that he's talked to league executives who believe that Brian Thomas Jr.
13:54could be traded here in the next couple weeks.
13:57But obviously that's not coming from the Jaguars themselves.
14:00That's probably from, you know, other executives calling and inquiring about Brian Thomas Jr.
14:04And the Jaguars just being open to listening to trade offers.
14:07So that's kind of the vibe that I'm getting here on what it is.
14:11And I don't think that they're going to let him go for cheap.
14:15So they're going to have to go to a team that has like pretty good capital here.
14:21The rumored landing spots are all the same that we heard for Josh Downs, which is the Chiefs, Steelers, Rams, Raiders.
14:27Commanders is also in there. And the 49ers is another big one that is a big rumor.
14:32And honestly, like the favorite by a lot of people.
14:35I think this is more wish casting because I've heard also now that the 49ers want to trade for defensive help, which
14:42honestly, I mean, we need both sides of the ball here to really come together to kind of patch up the holes that we got on our team.
14:51But Brian Thomas Jr. on the 49ers would be great.
14:54I just they're going to have to send a first.
14:57I know it's going to be a first to go get it.
15:00I feel like because of how bad the situation has been, it feels like maybe two seconds or a second in a
15:07like a second next year and a third, the following or something or or swap a fourth for a six like it
15:14feels like I don't think the Jaguars would be expecting to get a first round return on their investment after, you know,
15:21those last two seasons of injuries and just underperformance.
15:23At least that's what I think. Obviously, you know, like any negotiations, they're hoping to get that first.
15:29But I think they could probably get it done with something else like or maybe a player.
15:34You know, it doesn't just need to be straight capital, but because the Jaguars are not necessarily neat looking, you know, they
15:41have holes that they may need to fill on defense or offense or what have you.
15:46So, I mean, besides the Pittsburgh Steelers, which I think you mentioned, I would be ecstatic about any of those, not just for this season.
15:53I'm not super sure that I'm like trying to buy in for this Brian Thomas Jr.
15:58for this season, but at least for the future, because they'd have him for a year and then the fifth year option
16:05they could pick up before having to extend them.
16:08So, it would mean that there'd be some ability to get that bounce back in value with Kansas City, the Rams, 49ers,
16:14like any of those situations sounds like a much better situation than where he's at now, obviously.
16:20So, it would be pretty exciting. Yeah, the Commanders would be interesting.
16:23The Raiders, I think, would be really interesting also.
16:26Like, I think he fits in a lot of different places.
16:29And yeah, maybe you're right too. Maybe with, you know, the precedence of the Marvin Harrison Jr.
16:35trade, maybe a second with a little plus gets it done.
16:38I mean, Marv was drafted ahead of him in that same draft.
16:42He just also hasn't produced as much as or to the ceiling that Brian Thomas Jr.
16:47has produced too. So, yeah, lots to be untold.
16:49We still have a few weeks here before the whole picture comes into focus for us.
16:54But stay tuned. We'll keep you guys posted if we hear anything and keep our ears to the ground.

17:54We're going to be talking about some future first watch tonight.
17:57We're going to be going over some candidates that we think will be worth more than they are now.
18:03Some of them are already worth a future first, but we have them kind of slotted in to gain more, maybe even
18:10get to two times future first in the near future here.
18:13And we'll also go over guys that are worth less than a first that could be worth a first in the future.
18:20So stay tuned after this break. We're going to hear from the Podfather and our sponsors, and we'll catch you guys on
18:27the other side to talk about the future first watch.
18:30If you play in Dynasty, you need Dynasty Deluxe, our premium package for Dynasty leaguers.
18:34We rank over 300 players, updated every week, all year long.

19:12So if you're just in one Dynasty League, Dynasty Deluxe is well worth it.
19:16And use your host's promo code and you can bump up to all in and get $25 off.
19:21All right. Welcome in to the future first watch.
19:24Let's go over some candidates here that we think are on the rise that are going to be gaining in their Dynasty
19:31value here as the year goes on. Maybe the offseason does them some good favors here.
19:36We got a long list to get through. We're going to start off here with this category, which we're calling two times the future first watch.
19:44Meaning these guys are probably already worth a future first, you know, maybe not necessarily a 27 first, but you'll be able
19:51to get let me like 28 or even a 29 for one of these guys.
19:55So let's dive in to it and let's talk about your first candidate here, Jose.
20:00So go ahead and pick your favorite from the list that we have and lead us off on why you think that
20:06they're going to be gaining some value here. Yeah, I mean, it was a guy that we were really excited about in draft season.
20:14He was actually my wide receiver one at the beginning of the process before I kind of hopped on to the Carnell
20:20Tate sort of thing and the Tyson, which was Makai Lemon.
20:24I mean, he had a little bit of a weird offseason and draft season with some of the things that came out
20:31about his personality or what have you. But I think with the Eagles retooling here, potentially being sellers looking to maybe move off of Saquon.
20:38Now they don't have hurts for the remainder of the year.
20:42Devontae Smith, there was talks. I mean, I don't think it comes out of nowhere to just say, hey, do we need
20:48to shut down Devontae Smith for the rest of the season?
20:52What are we playing? And the coach was not very committal to saying, no, he's going to continue to play.
20:58I think that would be pretty interesting. And he's a guy that, you know, he was a first round pick, obviously.
21:04And he's definitely probably worth more. But I think if you want to, if you believe in Makai Lemon, I think there's
21:11a chance that we approach the two first by the end of the season.
21:15If he continues to play like this, obviously he's playing with a backup quarterback and you're not always going to get to play the Dallas Cowboys defense.
21:24But their schedule in terms of who they play is not like horrendous in terms of the defenses they play.
21:30They got Dallas today where he had seven, eight targets, seven catches and had a touchdown.
21:35Makai Lemon, that is. So, you know, I think the spike is already starting.
21:39He had that touchdown. He had run some good routes.
21:42They got Washington, New York, then Dallas again, then Arizona and then Indianapolis.
21:46So out of the next, what is it, six or seven games, they have a bye week in there, but they're not
21:53facing any sort of defense that makes you scared about, you know, what they could do to Makai Lemon or what they
21:59could do to that offense just in general. So McKee can be serviceable enough.
22:04I think you'll see that spike potentially in Makai Lemon's value.
22:07And especially if Devontae Smith is shut down or, you know, this, he goes on IR now with this re, I don't
22:14know if it was a re-aggravation of the hamstring injury he was dealing with or, or what exactly it was.
22:20But, you know, he's out again. He missed some time earlier in the, in the year too.
22:25So, you know, it doesn't look good because I think he missed what was it two games week, he was like weeks four and five.
22:33And then he came back for one week and then got injured again and missed this week.
22:38So, you know, like we were talking about the hamstring with who was it earlier that we were talking about a hamstring with.
22:45Oh, Rashee Rice, like these hamstring injuries for these wide receivers, they can lag in nag and kind of just bother throughout.
22:52And if the Philadelphia Eagles feel like they're not playing for anything, why kind of maybe push Devontae Smith to come back or force him back sooner?
23:00And in that case, then McKay Lemon is very clearly the number one wide receiver out of the entire bunch that's left.
23:07So I think there's a very good chance that you get to the two first by the end of this year, if it goes well for McKay Lemon.
23:15If not, you're probably just investing a little bit more than a future first compared to what you had to, you know,
23:22probably pay for the pick that he was taking at last year, which was probably 103, 104.
23:27So I'm in, I was in before the pre-draft.
23:30Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot of him. I only in like one or two spots.
23:35But I'm definitely trying to buy if I can, especially on a rebuilding team, maybe because he might not, he's not going
23:42to score a lot of points to hurt you.
23:44But I think he's a great asset to maybe grow with into next year when you get hurts and potentially a new coaching staff there in Philadelphia.
23:53Yeah, man. I mean, that's a great call. I love Lemon.
23:56And we saw tonight, you know, again, against the Cowboys, he had a big game in the absence of Devontae Smith.
24:02I think, did you, I think you went over it, but I'm just gonna say it again.
24:0827 for 87 yards and a touchdown. So the breakout is on.
24:11And yeah, Devontae Smith can't come back fully healthy, which I do expect him to get back.
24:16But like you said, nagging hamstring injuries, you know, like there's a risk of re-injury coming back.
24:22And Lemon could really take the second half of this season and climb in value if he does well with it.
24:28And I mean, Tanner McKee has played well in relief of Jalen Hurts here, who is going to be out for the season.
24:35We hope to have him back next season. But yeah, that's a great call on McKay Lemon there.
24:41So, and with that, I'm going to kind of turn it over to another rookie, right?
24:45I think one who's got quite a head of steam here coming into this part of the season, that's Jeremy Bernard of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
24:53He's had a couple big games here with gaining the trust of Aaron Rodgers.
24:57And that's probably like the biggest thing that says a lot about him and what he's capable of to earn the trust
25:04of, you know, scraggly, you know, and stubborn old Aaron Rodgers.
25:07Like rookies don't do that very often. And so it's nice to see Jeremy Bernard really coming into his own with, with
25:14old man Rodgers there and, and making some good, good statistical lines here.
25:18Right. I mean, this past week, week seven wasn't really great.
25:22He had three or seven, three receptions for 27 yards, but they leaned a lot on the running game to get it
25:28done there in Paris, France, where they were. But the week before that, he had 11 receptions on 12 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown.
25:36And then in week five, nine targets, six receptions, 80 yards, and no touchdowns.
25:41He's really garnering like quite a bit of the target share over there when they are ready looking to throw the ball.
25:47Aaron Rodgers is looking his way, willing to throw the ball to him.
25:51And this is in the absence of Michael Pittman, who was non-existent when he was on the field.
25:57And if we're looking at, you know, the value here of where Jeremy, Jeremy Bernard is, he's probably worth right around like,
26:03I don't know, like a 28 first is probably what my guess would be.
26:08I'm trying to find them here on the fly here.
26:11It's actually worse than that. He's right around. Yeah.
26:14A 20, 29 first. So in between that area, like an early 27 second, a late or a 20 to 29 first.
26:20So right around that Omar Cooper range, he's in that, um, you know, Ty Simpson, DJ Moore range.
26:26If that gives you any kind of feeling for where he's at.
26:29So definitely I think worth going and inquiring about these, the people who have them are probably diamond hands in him.
26:36When you have a rookie that pops off, like he's been doing, it's going to be a lot to get them.
26:42But if you could go trade like two seconds to go get them.
26:46I like, I like the trajectory of where the Steelers are going.
26:50I know Aaron Rogers is going on his way out next year.
26:54They do have drew Alar waiting in the wings.
26:56Maybe he can, you know, fulfill and be the successor to Aaron Rogers.
27:00If not, maybe they just go in the draft and, you know, they, they move up in the draft to kind of
27:07get their, their quarterback of the future. There it's, it's hard to see where, where it keeps going, but yeah.
27:13DK Metcalf is on the second year of his three-year deal.
27:17So he could be the guy of the future there.
27:20And I'm, as someone I'm looking to buy into.
27:22Yeah. I mean, I think he's perfect for this segment or, you know, this whole episode that we're doing our future first watch.
27:29He's definitely cheaper than some of the other guys we're going to talk about in this segment.
27:35So I think that's his appeal. I don't know if he has the ceiling of some of the other guys, but he's definitely cheaper.
27:42So if you need maybe just more of a futures play to secure your wide receiver room with some youth, I think it makes a lot of sense.
27:51He was a second round pick. So it's not like we're talking about a fifth round guy.
27:56That's just kind of having a couple of good games because people are injured.
28:00I do think that it becomes a big unknown without Aaron Rogers there because of how much it has to do with his confidence in him.
28:08Michael Pittman and DK both are on decent contracts, especially Michael Pittman who just got there this off season.
28:14So who knows what the new quarterback is going to like.
28:17But I think once you, you know, the genie metaphorically speaking comes out of the bottle, it's hard to put it back in.
28:24We've seen what Jeremy Bernard can do. And I think the, at least if it's not the same quarterback, you are going
28:31to have the same leadership and coaching staff there in the future.
28:35So at least they have that backing or he has that backing compared to, you know, and maybe they just get a better quarterback.
28:42Like Aaron Rogers isn't playing at some sort of crazy level where, you know, it wouldn't be too hard to supplement with
28:49either one of these guys that's coming off of.
28:51Coming from another team or, you know, like you said in the draft, it seems to be a decent quarterback draft.
28:58We'll see how many actually come out and, you know, don't stay for NIL money.
29:02But yeah, I like the call. All right, let's go ahead.
29:06Let's take one more. Actually, just take one more off this list of the last three guys that we have here.
29:12And then we'll move on to the next category of players here.
29:16So choose your favorite of these three and let's talk about him.
29:20So, I mean, I got a couple of guys in here that I realized were on the same team.
29:25So maybe I'll just kind of throw both of them in there and I'll, you know, throw it to you and who you like more of the two.
29:34It's Quinshaw Jenkins and Denzel Boston. I think part of it has to do with the resurgence of the Browns and, you
29:41know, Deshaun Watson being better than he is. I don't remember what Deshaun Watson contract is if he's still slated to be there.
29:48He's a free agent next year. Okay, so that's another one where, you know, what is it going to be?
29:54But so Deshaun Watson just hasn't been inept and that offense hasn't been inept and we've seen Denzel Boston be good and
30:01Quinshaw Judkins when he's healthy be a good running back, the running back we thought he would be.
30:06So, you know, they have capital, they have the, you know, I think now that Miles Garrett is gone, they have the
30:13cap space to maybe go sign one of these free agent quarterbacks or trade or do something.
30:18So I like the future for them too. I don't know who you like more.
30:23I know you weren't a huge Denzel Boston guy coming out of the draft.
30:27So I don't know if something has changed for you there or, you know, maybe you just like Judkins more because he, you know, he did prospect better.
30:35How do you feel about the Browns players? I like the Judkins by quite a bit just because I feel like there's
30:42a larger ceiling with Judkins and it hasn't been realized.
30:45And I think people are kind of forgetting, especially with the new hotness that we've had on the Browns here.
30:51There's been a lot of storylines to kind of, you know, subvert Judkins down and into people's rankings and maybe like kind of forget about him, right?
31:00So I think I like Judkins more just because of he's not in the spotlight right now.
31:05And yeah, he was a prospect that I did like quite a bit.
31:09Now, if we're looking at rankings, he's still above Denzel Boston in some ways, right?
31:13Fantasy Calc, Denzel Boston's at 2638. Quinchan Judkins is at 2956.
31:17Judkins is 23. Denzel Boston is also 23. 23.
31:20I do need to give the respect that he deserves because it's been impressive to say the least, right?
31:25I think if I were to probably choose one of these guys, it'd be Judkins.
31:30Yeah, I definitely agree with what you said. I think Judkins has that potential.
31:34I think a lot of people kind of forgotten when he was kind of stuck in this Cleveland Browns, you know, dumpster
31:41fire that we thought they were going to be.
31:44I think a lot of people moved them down and haven't kind of readjusted where we thought Judkins.
31:49I mean, a lot of people like Judkins right behind Hampton.
31:53There was people that liked Judkins more than Hampton coming out of the draft, except for the landing spot, obviously.
31:59So he definitely has that, you know, top eight to 10 dynasty running back in him.
32:04With his youth, it's definitely there. And those prices get really steep really quickly, we've seen with these running backs.
32:10So if you can get in on Judkins before the two-fold future first comes in, I definitely think, like you said, it's calling the higher upside shot.
32:18Yeah. And then just before we move out of this and get into the next category, just a shout out to Amari Hampton, right?
32:25Like, just don't forget about him. Buy low on him.
32:28We had Josh Jacobs in here. He's probably already worth a future first.
32:32I don't know he necessarily grows to two future firsts just because of the age dilemma that we have here, but he looked good coming back.
32:40He hasn't really lost the steps and definitely fresh legs in that Green Bay offense, which they needed because the amalgamation of
32:47running backs that they were putting out there just wasn't getting it done.
32:51And he didn't even play like a full snap share either in his first game back.
32:56So I think there's a lot more to come from Josh Jacobs.
33:00And if you need him on a contending team, that's a good buy low for someone like that.
33:05All right, let's move on to the next category of players here, which is just the future first watch.
33:11You know, as we've done in the past, these guys are not worth a future first as it stands right now in the current market.
33:19But we do think, you know, in the near future that they could vault themselves up to the value here to be
33:25worth a future first or maybe more. So I'm going to lead off here with my first favorite guy, and that's going to be Michael Penix.
33:33And I have quite a bit of Michael Penix in my dynasty portfolio already, just because like I said in previous episodes
33:40coming into the season, he was just way too low to be like a suspected starting quarterback, right?
33:45I mean, we have Tua definitely leading that backfield.
33:48But if you were following the beat, Tua was not impressing.
33:52And so like it was really just he was supposed to be there to let Michael Penix get healthy.
33:57And they had to rush Michael Penix back just because Tua was as bad as he was.
34:03And Michael Penix has looked really good over these first few games back.
34:07He's just feeding his weapons. Drake London is coming to life.
34:10Even Kyle Pitts is getting out there. For some reason, Bajon is just an afterthought, because even when Bryan Robinson Jr.
34:16is out, you got to get Khalil Herbert in there, right?
34:20Like he's too too shifty to not get in there.
34:23Sorry, I'm just a little salty about that. But nonetheless, Michael Penix is slinging the ball.
34:28He beat my 49ers this past week, which I'm still bitter about.
34:31But I'm getting over it slowly here. And I don't even like what is Michael Penix's value right now in the market?
34:38Like I want to say it's probably around a second.
34:41Yeah, I mean, like it's grown. You know, it's like around the Penix is rising.
34:46It's the 2028 first right around that, like maybe around Casey Concepcion, Omar Cooper.
34:50So you may be able to shift like an early second for him if you get luckier, like a late first.
34:56But yeah, you could probably just shift some players around too.
35:00Maybe the person who has Penix isn't really a big believer in him.
35:04And you could go get him. And I think that he'll be worth, you know, a first plus.
35:09Like he's on a trajectory right now where he could be drafted as like a top 12 quarterback in startups next season.
35:16Like I think that's a realistic expectation when we're kind of here.
35:20Like when we talk about the quarterback 12 on this year, we were probably talking about like a.
35:25Like a CJ Stroud and or like a Cam Ward and that kind of sense.
35:30Like Michael Penix is not necessarily young. He was an older prospect coming into the league, but he's still young in his
35:37career and quarterbacks can play well into the 30s.
35:39So I think it's a safe buy if you want and you can get in at a decent price.
35:45I think it's worthwhile here. Yeah, I mean, I think it's a great addition to round out a quarterback room.
35:51I'm not sure I'm in on buying Michael Penix to be my quarterback to in a super flex just yet.
35:57He's definitely looked good. I think his best games have been the last two where he's played some pretty questionable defenses, especially
36:04in Chicago, who he lit up for three touchdowns and 200 yards.
36:08He did again the same thing to the 49ers, but they're, you know, battling a lot of injuries and have not been,
36:14you know, some sort of lockdown defense. So it would be interesting to see where it continues.
36:20He doesn't have a tough matchup until maybe Kansas City in week 10 or the Minnesota Vikings in week 12.
36:26But it is a viable starting quarterback who is drafted in the first round.
36:30So his leash is going to be long and he is older.
36:34But like you said, quarterbacks can play. The health concerns, I think, are still real.
36:38Not that he's injury prone, but just what is the wear and tear on those knees, on that body that he's taken due to those severe injuries.
36:47So I'm not fully in. But if at those prices, those are the type of prices that in season, you know, you
36:53lose a Jalen Hurts and you need a second quarterback or you need a quarterback.
36:58Those are the type of moves you want to make instead of getting, you know, a Matthew Stafford, if you can help
37:05it or one of these older guys, because at least Michael Penix has some room to grow as we were talking about
37:11and kind of flourish and potentially get you more in the future or be worth more.
37:16So I don't hate it if you can get him for a couple of seconds or just a second or late first.
37:23Even I think that is probably where I hit my threshold of I think there's too much risk for me personally, and
37:30I don't believe in it enough to go that route.
37:33But if it's a second or maybe a second and a third for a quarterback to, you know, sure up a quarterback
37:40room on a contending team, I'm definitely in. Yeah, great.
37:43All right, let's move on. And who's your first player in this category of, you know, not worth a first yet, but will be soon.
37:50Yeah, it's going to be Jalen Coker, who I think it's, you know, put a positive somewhat that he had a down game this year.
37:58I mean, the Panthers got, you know, completely boat raced.
38:01That was something that I was not expecting at all for the Bucs to come in and just lay the smack down
38:08on the Panthers out of nowhere because the Panthers are looking pretty good.
38:12But I think he is a guy I've never I wasn't a huge coke head coming into the league, but it feels
38:18like finally he's going to getting into the right scheme.
38:21Tet, I think, is opening things up for him now.
38:25So they're making a good duo. And Bryce Young is looking pretty solid as an NFL quarterback and passer.
38:30So it's going to be Jalen Coker. I think you can be buying in into a really solid wide receiver, too, for
38:37the future, who's also still young before he's worth a future first or maybe explodes because he is one of those cult
38:44following guys where depending on who owns him, maybe they were a big fan and they've been waiting for this breakout.
38:50So you're never going to get him for a reasonable price.
38:54But he was just kind of hanging out on somebody's roster or he's been kind of traded around in your league.
39:00Go give it a shot and see what you can get him for.
39:04I don't have the fantasy calc up like you were talking about, but I can't imagine he's close.
39:09He's approaching a first, I think, when I looked at it last, but he's not quite there yet.
39:15So, you know, a mid to late 27 first could get it done for you.
39:20And I think that's a first well spent. Yeah, he's in the same range that we've been talking about, right around the
39:26Josh Jacobs, above Denzel Boston a little bit. But they weren't, he's not a highly drafted prospect, whereas Denzel Boston, you probably
39:33needed to use a first to go get him.
39:36Jalen Coker, at some point, someone probably got him off of waivers, right?
39:40And so, like, you might be able to buy lower on that if they haven't realized that value on Jalen Coker.
39:46But yeah, I like the great call out. And yeah, like you said, buy low because of what Tampa Bay did to them.
39:53Man, Tampa Bay's defense is kind of sneaky right now.
39:56Like, they felt like frauds coming into the season.
39:59You know, they were kind of getting blown out.
40:02But they've really found their stride and kind of been holding people up.
40:06And yeah, I mean, the running backs just went crazy.
40:09Like, that's, if anything from that game you take away, start your running backs against Carolina.
40:14Just complete run funnel. I think we saw that against the Bears in week one, and now we've seen it again where
40:20all three running backs for the Bucs got involved between Gainwell, Irving, and even Sean Tucker showed out for this week getting a touchdown.
40:28So, I like the call out there for Jalen Coker.
40:31Let's go ahead and move on to the last guy that we were going to talk about here in this tier, which is going to be Terrence Ferguson.
40:39And this is especially true in, like, a tight end premium league.
40:43Might be a little bit harder of a lift.
40:46Like you were saying, Jalen Coker having that cult following.
40:49Terrence Ferguson very much has that new cult following.
40:52He's like what we wanted Ben Sennett to be, you know, two years ago.
40:56He's kind of actually materializing the potential that we see in Terrence Ferguson.
41:00Although I will note this Rams offense is extremely frustrating for tight end starts.
41:04You don't really know which one is going to go off in any given season, but the future is looking good for him.
41:11You know, Tyler Higbee signed a two-year deal at the beginning of this year, so he'll be there for, you know, this year and next year.
41:19But I think Colby Parkinson is on the last year of his deal, so he could be exiting here.
41:25And then they obviously have Terrence Ferguson, who was the guy to start the season above Higbee and Colby Parkinson before he got injured.
41:32He's on IR currently with no real timeline to return.
41:35So that might be your opportunity to go buy Terrence Ferguson.
41:39If we're looking at, you know, what his value is over here on Fantasy Calc.
41:43It's, can't find him. Let's try this one, Terrence.
41:46Here it is. 1926, which is below a 2029 first, right around that J.J.
41:50McCarthy, Travis H.N. range. So you could get him for a second, hopefully.
41:54I think in most of the leagues, I'm in, and I'd be hard-pressed to get done.
41:59I'm probably not selling him for a second. But you might be able to, you know, get him at a second's worth of value in a larger deal.
42:08It's probably the way that you're going to have to do it if you want to kind of sneak him onto your squad.
42:15But we've seen what he can be in that Rams offense, and I want to get ahead of that and put him
42:22on as many teams as I can. Because I do think that he could be, you know, a top five tight end
42:28in the near future, just with how potent that passing offense is in L.A.
42:33And I want to capitalize on that buy low opportunity.
42:36Yeah, I mean, that's kind of what I've run into.
42:39I kind of had attempted to when he first got hurt to get him thrown into some deals.
42:44And I actually think him being hurt is worse because now people aren't like, oh, he's sucking.
42:49I should trade him away. They're more like, oh, he's on my RR.
42:53He's just going to sit and chill there. It's a dynasty stash, you know, who you weren't necessarily thinking was going to
43:00do great things this year just because of how crowded the tight end room.
43:04And we don't know. Like, it looked like Higby was going to be the guy.
43:09And then I think last week it was, who was it?
43:12Was it Claire or Davis Allen that had the game with the two touchdowns on four receptions and 20 yards?
43:19You know, like that's just how it happens. And I think while there's multiple, I think that's just what McBerry likes, that
43:25you don't know which guy to target. Like they're all, besides Ferguson, who does seem like he has a higher ceiling in
43:32terms of his athletic and kind of ability in general.
43:35It's kind of more like, hey, these guys are all just any of these guys can hurt you.
43:41So you don't know who to guard. So it makes it more difficult.
43:45I mean, that's what McBerry likes. I do have some, you know, setbacks with the Rams.
43:49Like I don't know what happens with Matthew Stafford retires.
43:53Like it is a prolific passing offense. And we have seen McVay not necessarily do so well without a very established quarterback.
43:59Even a guy like Goff, he traded away. So I don't know how you would do with a rookie like Ty Simpson.
44:06But it's a very interesting and definitely if you can get ahead of the tight end market, which, you know, spikes in
44:13value when any of these guys pop. Like we saw with Fannin or with Loveland, et cetera, like when they get the
44:19hype, just because there isn't so many of them as an elite option, it becomes very expensive to get into.
44:26Yeah. Especially if there's already that hype for them ahead of time.
44:29All right. Let's just quickly throw out these last three names here that we feel like we should mention.
44:35A pair of rookies and Jacoby Lane, who is the wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens.
44:40Got a lot of love in camp. He's injured, but he's back now and splashing already in his first couple of games back.
44:47Nothing huge, but notable. Then there's Antonio Williams, another rookie wide receiver for the Washington Commanders, who's been kind of showing out
44:54all season, just hasn't really had the full opportunity to kind of materialize the efficiency that he's been doing.
45:00But now with Terry McLaurin probably out for the rest of this season, Antonio Williams could step into a bigger role.
45:06Both of those guys, you're probably not getting off of someone's team for anything less than a late first.
45:12But again, if you can get him at a value of a second and a larger deal, definitely be looking to do that.
45:19And then last on the list is Zach Charbonnet.
45:22I still believe that he could come back and just steal the role.
45:26And I saw some workout videos of him coming off this injury.
45:29He looks good, man. I'm just, what are we waiting for, guys?
45:33Put him in. Remember the Joe Mixon video that was so good, it almost got people to think he was going to get signed?
45:40I mean, it's crazy that he had that and he sounded like he was going to get signed.
45:46And then he literally hasn't had another opportunity. Like that physical must have not been very good whatsoever there.
45:52Yeah, I read that it was like a degenerative foot disorder that is just not well.
45:56So, I mean, his career is probably done, unfortunately.
45:59But it was a good career. Thanks, Joe Mixon.
46:02We'll throw you a party. Your check's in the mail.
46:05Yeah. All right. Let's take a quick break here to hear from our sponsors.
46:09And we'll catch you guys on the other side to talk about some dark horses that we like who could be here.
46:16All right. Welcome back. Let's talk about some dark horses here.
46:19Why don't you go ahead and lead off with one of your favorites from this list here, man?
46:25Yeah. I mean, I don't think I've talked about, you know, this guy on the podcast at all.
46:30So, you know, why don't I shout him out?
46:33You know, Brian Thomas Jr. Definitely not somebody we've given any airtime.
46:37But, hey, you know, he's a dark horse. Like we said, the potential for the value to spike just immediately as soon as he gets traded.
46:45Like if he gets traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, I feel like his value instantly just increases without him even taking
46:51a snap in a way where maybe you trade him.
46:55You know, you get him for like I did a second and a third.
46:59And then as soon as he signs with the Chiefs, you can get two better seconds than the ones you traded away or something.
47:06You know, in some sort of play, if you don't even want to wait to see if anything happens, you just want
47:13to, you know, quickly flip the, you know, a penny stock type of thing.
47:17I think you could easily do that. Now, I think there is potential for that to go even better.
47:23That's why he's kind of a dark horse, so to speak.
47:26But, yeah, I mean, I love Brian Thomas Jr.
47:29I can't, for the sake of diversifying the portfolio, really invest and buy him in more situations just because he is pretty
47:36much on every rebuilding team that I have. And if it doesn't work out, it's going to be a bad, like, you
47:43know, it's going to hurt my rebuilding teams quite a bit because he was the central piece.
47:48And in some deals and in other deals, just, you know, trading capital that he probably could have spent better if he doesn't get traded.
47:55But for now, I think just going, you know, that's my dark horse.
47:59That's what I throw out just because I like to talk about Brian Thomas Jr.
48:04Yeah, man, I think, you know, if anyone's following me, you could definitely get him for less than a first.
48:10I've been calling him a solid candidate now for a little bit just because I don't think he gets traded.
48:16But I can most definitely be wrong about that.
48:19A first is more than likely what he's going to be going for, just even off the hype of that trade alone.
48:26So I can't crap on that take too much here.
48:29Let's go with another wide receiver that I like for a different reason.
48:33I'm going to call out Ryan Flournoy here, who has looked pretty darn good this year already for the Dallas Cowboys.
48:39And that's as their wide receiver three. They just throw the ball enough to where a wide receiver three can be relevant.
48:46It feels like, you know, we're back in like 2015 when wide receiver threes were actually a thing in fantasy football.
48:52But lately, they just they just don't matter because you have that one guy that's dominant, someone behind him that can happen.
48:59And then a tight end or something like that.
49:02But no, there's no tight end here in Dallas, at least none, none worth throwing to.
49:07We have Ryan Flournoy instead, who looks good. And I also liked it because you get this contingent fact that if some
49:13reason they don't sign George Pickens next year and he is a free agent and he walks and goes somewhere else.
49:20I think Ryan Flournoy is proven that he can step up into that wide receiver two role and he could be like
49:27this year's Michael Wilson type of player, right? Where he was the wide receiver two to start, but then he steps up into the wide receiver one situation.
49:35Obviously, that's not what happened here because CeeDee Lamb is there.
49:39But because of the prolific passing offense we have here, it's like an equivalent kind of thing, right?
49:44The wide receiver two on Dallas is like the wide receiver one in many other places.
49:49So getting that promotion into that wide receiver two role, maybe he doesn't become worth a first like in the offseason necessarily.
49:56But I do think that he could gain a ton in value.
49:59And if he does produce two wide receiver two numbers, say he goes for 70 catches, a thousand yards and five touchdowns in a season.
50:07I definitely think he elevates himself into like a Tee Higgins or, you know, like a Devonta Smith of past when A.J.
50:14Brown was there or, you know, those elite wide receiver twos that end up going off the board as, you know, wide receiver, you know, 15, 16.
50:22And because they're just in these prolific offenses that we want pieces in and they produce great numbers for you.
50:28So I think he's a dark horse candidate to really kind of project himself up the standings here.
50:34I feel really bad. I had to sell low on him in one rebuilding league because one team was getting real close
50:40to my 101 and I had to get those points off my team.
50:44So I sold him for a 20, 27 third.
50:47But hey, man, that's that's the game we play.
50:50I didn't want to do that, but it's what we had to do.
50:54So you can definitely go get him for a third from some teams if they're desperate.
50:59Yeah. And I mean, I think you also have the added contingency of, you know, CeeDee Lamb has missed quite a few games.
51:06He's already, you know, going to be in hurt this season.
51:09Pickens is working through a shoulder injury that he played through this year.
51:13Yeah, this game. I mean, my biggest thing with Brian Flournoy is that I hate they throw him the ball when they have Pickens and Lamb.
51:21Like it's third and five. Why are we scheming a play for Ryan Flournoy?
51:25Like even today, it was like one guy and Pickens out there blocking for a wide receiver screen for Ryan Flournoy.
51:32And I'm like, would that have not made sense just turning it around?
51:36Ryan Flournoy, I think that's bigger than Pickens. And Pickens doesn't put the effort into blocks or like throw Ryan.
51:42I don't know, man. Like, you know, Shottie's not the greatest schemer.
51:46And, you know, even though he calls himself an elite play caller, I definitely don't see that.
51:51But I think it's just a savvy move to use with one of your thirds.
51:55If maybe you got an extra and you have a late contenders third, especially if you got a couple extra.
52:01Ryan Flournoy is just as good of a shot in the dark or a dark horse to gain value there than anybody
52:08else, especially if the Cowboys didn't do anything after letting Pickens walk, if that's what happens.
52:13He is an older guy who was an older prospect.
52:16I think he came into the league kind of like Penix or Bo Nix.
52:20Like he was like 25 or so roughly when he came into the league.
52:25But, you know, he's produced and he does seem to have good rapport with the offense that's there and with Dak Prescott.
52:31So if there was nobody else to come in, I think he definitely would see a rise in value if you wanted
52:38to just kind of flip it quick or just have one of those guys on your bench that, you know, is a
52:45decent startable guy from week to week. And especially if there is an injury.
52:49Yeah, definitely. All right. Let's burn through these last names that we have on the dark horse list.
52:55There's a trifecta of quarterbacks here that may or may not have a job next year, but that's why they're on this list.
53:02Right. So we have Deshaun Watson, Mac Jones and JJ McCarthy.
53:05Do you like any of these guys to kind of rise into value here for you?
53:10Yeah, I mean, I think the biggest one for me is probably Deshaun Watson, just because he's played well enough that unless
53:17the wheels completely fall off the rest of these like 10 games, he's going to get another job somewhere.
53:23Maybe the Browns will be dumb enough to just give him a contract they said you're here in a few games because
53:29they're like loving what they see out of him, even though it hasn't been great.
53:34But, you know, some of these quarterback needy teams are a team that's maybe looking to tank into the future.
53:40I don't know if Arizona doesn't get a quarterback in the draft because they've been randomly winning games or somebody they want
53:47to have, kind of like Kirk Cousins to sit behind, maybe that he gets a job.
53:52I feel the safest with him in terms of his potential.
53:55Like, I know people are excited about JJ McCarthy, but, you know, they beat Houston and he threw for like 250 yards on 28 passes.
54:03He didn't have any touchdowns. Like, I still think JJ McCarthy is just kind of what he is.
54:08I don't unless he really saddles up with some sort of coordinator that can really turn things around for him.
54:14I don't think he's looking to have a long career.
54:17And then Mac Jones, I feel like at this point is just going to be the ever backup, the guy that people
54:24want to have as their backup, but not really as a starter for whatever reason.
54:29So I just think Watson is the most likely to have a starting role that he can keep for at least another year out of these three guys.
54:37So I think that's why he'd be my choice.
54:40Yeah, I think I'm probably on that same case is like it's the Sean Watson or bus here, but I do see
54:47potentially see a path for JJ McCarthy. We were talking about it off air on Friday before process first.
54:52How what if the Giants win the division and they go to the playoffs and JJ McCarthy wins a playoff game because
54:59they beat, you know, somebody else who's has has no quarterback because they got hurt in the last game.
55:05Well, like there's a there's a narrative you could spin here where JJ McCarthy is in the limelight.
55:11He plays well enough to win a game or like deserve respect, even if they didn't win the game.
55:16Right. And that he could turn around and get a job next year.
55:20I will say for any of these guys, whether it's to Sean Watson, Mac Jones or JJ McCarthy, the quarterback market, I
55:27feel like next year is going to be flooded with with new talent and that there's going to be a surplus of quarterbacks available.
55:34So I feel like some quarterback needy teams are going to be either more likely to just bet on a draft pick
55:41or, you know, they're going to bring in a draft pick and pick up one of these guys and have a quarterback competition.
55:48So there may be a little bit of extra risk with those quarterbacks there.
55:52The last one we have on the list here is just Ricky Pearsall injured relevant still to the 49ers.
55:58I don't think they're going to give up on him.
56:01He had surgery on his knee for his PCL repair, which he should have had last season, but didn't.
56:07Obviously, he's out this year. I think in training camp next year, we'll probably see some buzz where he'll come back to relevancy.
56:14Probably not going to be worth the future first anytime into the future.
56:18But I think you can go by really low on him right now.
56:22And there is a chance where he just outshines to John Shribling and anybody else in that room and actually is the
56:29wide receiver one for a very prolific offense, which is the 49ers here.
56:33So any words on Ricky Pearsall? No. Let's move on, man.
56:36We talked about the dark horses. We talked about guys that we like to elevate themselves in value.
56:42Let's talk about some future first fades. Guys that we're selling that are worth a first today, but we're projected to fall outside of that value.
56:50Maybe in the coming months or the off season, it's a little bit unfavorable to them.
56:55I have a list of four guys here. These are all my guys.
56:59You didn't really have a guy necessarily on this list.
57:02I don't know if there's one on this list that you want to talk about.
57:06So I'm just going to take the lead here.
57:09And I'm going to say Travion Henderson, man. Like it's bad.
57:12It's not good. This is not what we imagined for Travion Henderson.
57:16Ramondre Stevenson is not going anywhere. He's on contract through 2028, I believe.
57:20I looked it up. And Travion Henderson, as long as Ramondre Stevenson is there, is going to be the second fiddle.
57:26I'm going to quickly try to pull up to what JJ Zacharias had on a data dump about him.
57:32Because it was, you know, when they were on the field together, it was, you know, just really, really bad success.
57:39Okay, so Travion Henderson has scored more than 15 PPR points in a game where Ramondre Stevenson has been active just twice in his career.
57:46So every time they've been on the field together, except two times, it's been less than 15 PPR points, which is not
57:53what we wanted from a first round draft pick, at least first round rookie draft pick, right?
57:58And for this explosive player that we thought Travion Henderson was going to be.
58:02And he's not the kind of guy either to go, you know, be a diva and like want a bigger role.
58:09Like he's very humble and like just wants to be a team member.
58:13So I don't know. I don't think it's going to happen for Henderson, man.
58:17And I think that there's still some value in his name right now that you could probably get while in season.
58:24But I don't think that changes unless Travion or Ramondre gets an injury.
58:28But even then, Corey Kiner is just going to be.
58:31They want to split the load there in that backfield.
58:34And Hendo's never going to be the one to profit.
58:37Yeah, it feels like a very frustrating situation where you're almost looking for him to, you know, not be there anymore and go to a different situation.
58:45I think the only thing with Ramondre's contract is that there's technically an out after this year.
58:50He does have two more years, but the dead cap is not some horrendous thing.
58:55But you don't see even at the age of 29, you don't see this particular coaching staff going that direction.
59:01Like it doesn't feel like they'd be cutting Ramondre.
59:04And even if they did, like you said, it doesn't seem like they have confidence in Henderson, which is weird because there was no change in coaching staff.
59:12Right. And Henderson was there when Brable was there and coaching.
59:16I guess they did change offensive coordinators. Did they not?
59:19I want to say maybe. Yeah. So maybe that's it.
59:22But it just it seems weird. It's one of those things where you have a college prospect that, you know, seems pretty
59:28good that the NFL thinks that, you know, he was debt drafted decently high.
59:33But it doesn't seem like it's going to happen for him there in New England.
59:37So you're hoping that a trade or just, you know, he gets released or his contract ends out.
59:43But for the now, I think it's not a bad I think you're also going to have a lot of it's going
59:50to marriage if you're a seller with people trying to buy low technically, maybe in their mind.
59:55They thinking Trayvon is still a first plus. And if maybe you could just recuperate your first from that class into 27,
60:01which is, you know, a primo class. I think that would be a smart move to be making.
60:07All right. Of these three guys that I have on the list here, anyone you want to talk about?
60:13Is there someone else you have on your mind that maybe we could talk about here?
60:18No, I mean, I think some of the guys you have like AJ Brown, for example, is a little bit difficult now
60:24just because of how bad he seemed. I definitely think at the beginning of the season, he was one of those guys that you were getting.
60:32Devontae Smith as well, but he's also injured. So I think you need to wait for him to come back.
60:39But if you can get out of Devontae Smith, he was never a player that has shown to be a fantasy relevant asset.
60:46Like people have that in their mind. But if you go look up his the way he's played, I mean, he's never been a top.
60:53He's never been a wide receiver one except one season in terms of his finishes.
60:58He's also never stayed healthy besides like half of the seasons that he's already missed games this one.
61:03So he's going to have like two or three years of finishing healthy in a six or seven year career.
61:09He's getting going to be 27, 28 next year.
61:12So it's just one of those situations where I feel like it's just never going to happen for Devontae Smith.
61:18Maybe he has a game or year in his career, which was supposed to be this one without AJ Brown.
61:24But yeah, for me, I don't know if either of those guys are super exciting for you.
61:30But that's kind of I feel both. I think you have to wait a little bit because otherwise you are selling way
61:36too low to get out because I don't think the bottom is completely falling out, especially because it's due to injuries this year that they're playing so bad.
61:45Like that. I want to wait for them to have a game or two to go sell.
61:50But they're definitely on the radar on the mind, like you said, to fade and try to get a first back if you can.
61:57This one might be a little controversial and maybe like a little bit of a hot take even.
62:03But I put Bo Nix on here and I just think like what we've seen out of the gate here for the
62:10start of the 2026 season has me a little bit worried about how good he actually is.
62:15I mean, you know, even coming in into the league, he was drafted as what, like the quarterback five of the class,
62:22like and not really on a lot of people's radars to be in the mix for a top five quarterback.
62:28So he obviously showed out his rookie year and kind of backed it up last year, not necessarily growing and instilling more confidence in him.
62:35But I'm just a little bit worried that this might be fool's goal here.
62:40And I don't know how you how do you feel about Bo Nix to the start of the season and for the rest of his career here?
62:48Yeah, I mean, if you could get out into something that you feel more sure about, maybe a more sure quarterback.
62:54I don't hate it coming into the season. He was a guy that I was looking to if he just took a
63:01slight step forward in terms of his accuracy, his passing percentage and his passing overall.
63:06He's already finishing top seven as a quarterback and he wasn't being drafted like that.
63:10But he's definitely taking that slight step back, which takes him into quite an abysmal situation.
63:15He had to be dealing with, you know, what was it?
63:19The other play caller for the first three, four games, whatever it is now back with Peyton.
63:24It hasn't looked that much better. I mean, this week it was 15 completions, I think, for 200 yards.
63:30And then he had the giant rushing touchdown and the giant, you know, deep bomb pass.
63:34So it's not like he's still being a prolific passer.
63:37So it's still it's definitely concerning. I think if you were not a Bo Nix believer and you ended up with him
63:44and you were just really happy the last two years, I definitely think his.
63:49Stock is still pretty high, even though it's been pretty rough.
63:52They're winning. So if I could sell and get into a different quarterback and in the same tier just to feel safer, I would I don't hate that.
64:00Yeah, I mean, in the tier that we're looking at, he's kind of slipped to the QB 20 and dynasty rankings right now.
64:07So behind Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbert and Fernando Mendoza and Dak are the four in front of him.
64:13Behind him, you have guys like Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Matt Stafford, Kyler Murray, Michael Penix.
64:18Definitely in that like no man's range, you know, like outside of the guys that you actually want on your team and
64:25outside of the guys that you don't want on your team.
64:28He's just kind of like there. So I don't know, like we were talking about.
64:33Sorry, good. I was going to say, like, if you can afford it or, you know, in terms of like not needing
64:39a quarterback, can you just go send Bo Nix to get Jalen Hurts right now?
64:44Was that a move that you'd be looking to make if Bo Nix was expendable to your roster?
64:49Yeah, I mean, I think if it was or you're a rebuilding team or something, you're not getting that much older.
64:56I don't know. How much is the age difference there?
64:59I don't remember. Two years. Two years. So for a rebuilder, it's not like you're sending him away for a Stafford or something, somebody in their 30s.
65:07That's an interesting one. I was going to bring up a name that we talked about with Michael Penix.
65:13I mean, I think most people would think it's a tear down to go to Bo Nix to Michael Penix.
65:19But like you're talking about, you're a firm believer in the Penix, then, you know, what can you get on top of it?
65:26You know, it's you're getting two extra letters in the last name.
65:30So how much before the next? Exactly. What can you get added on top of Bo Nix if that's the tier?
65:36I think that's a I think most people, if you told them, hey, I'm going to tear down from Bo Nix to Michael Penix.
65:44They would be thinking of a substantial piece or a pretty significant one, I think, even even with the rough start to
65:50this season, because you've still had 30 point games from Bo in squished in between some pretty big stinkers.
65:56So, you know, what what could that be like if you if you were a Michael Penix believer?
66:02I did want to ask you one thing because we were talking about all these wide receivers earlier.
66:07So just before we get out of here with Makai Lemon, Jeremy Bernard, Jalen Coker.
66:12Given and maybe Denzel Boston as well. Right. So think about the most of them are rookies.
66:17Coker is the oldest one. Given their value and age and everything, who would you rather have of all of them?
66:23Like you can go get potentially all of them at their roughly price.
66:27Right. Some of them are calling more than a first other like Coker.
66:31We're calling maybe barely a first. Who would you rather go after?
66:35It's between Makai Lemon and Boston. I like Makai Lemon for the talent, but there's also, you know, the respect for the target share.
66:42And if Devonta Smith is there and then want to be a run first offense and also just what is the Eagles future?
66:49It has me kind of like a very murky picture of what to project for that team.
66:55So that doesn't make me feel great. Whereas Denzel Boston could be the wide receiver one.
66:59And also it feels like the Browns are ascending.
67:02I don't even want to like claim that because I think like as soon as you say it, it's going to like, you know, grasping at straws.
67:10It's just right right out of your grip here.
67:13It's between those two, I think, for me, because like Jeremy Bernard, I do like.
67:18But much like the Philadelphia, like what is the Pittsburgh's offense into the future here?
67:22Right. We don't really have a clear picture. They still have DK Metcalf on for another year here.
67:28And then the other one being Jalen Coker, you know, with Ted Arola McMillan there, Bryce Young ascending.
67:33He's probably like third in line for this. I think that's the way I would go is it's probably Boston Lemon Coker Bernard for me.
67:41Yeah, I think you nailed it. I think for me, it's been Boston and that's the main guy I'm trying to target.
67:48I think there's a lot of savvy moves with those wide receiver two type guys that you were talking about, like Tee
67:55Higgins for Denzel Boston plus, you know, one of these older producing guys.
67:58Maybe Adams would have been beautiful before he got injured, but maybe not the elite guys, but those middle round guys that you could potentially trade off.
68:07So but besides that, man, yeah, I just I thought that was pretty interesting where we're talking about all these wide receivers and they're all fairly young.
68:15Like, who would you rather have? And I think I have it pretty much exactly that way.
68:20Yeah, the Coker is pretty interesting. If you want to tear off of him to get into one of these younger guys
68:27who maybe has a higher ceiling because it's just they're so new in their career, whereas Coker has been in the league for a few years now.
68:35We we kind of know what to expect from him, although it's been injury riddled.
68:40You know, maybe he's the Parker Washington breakout of next year, something like that.
68:44Highly unlikely, I think, with Tett being there. But that's an interesting one.
68:48You know, Coker for for Boston. Maybe maybe you get that done.
68:52Who knows? All right, man, let's hit the outro here.
68:55But before we do, let's go ahead and shout out some some promotional items here and and what we're working on.
69:01Obviously, we got process first. We just released the middling one.
69:05We're going to start getting some of the Boogaloo members back on the process first and going over some midseason checkups here.
69:11What are we working on for for the shorts and stuff?
69:15Yeah, man. So, yeah, like we mentioned at the top, we are doing some social stuff.
69:20We're trying to be a little bit more active.
69:22They're trying to see if it can help us grow and just put some material out.
69:27So we're on YouTube shorts. If you're following the process first or sorry, future first channel, you should be getting those and seeing them.
69:35If you're listening to us on a player profiler network or through a podcast, jump over to the future first YouTube channel
69:41and, you know, give us a follow. Give us a subscription and just, you know, you can get some of those shorts
69:48and for some of the episodes maybe you miss.
69:51You're definitely not getting process first if you're not following us along on our channels.
69:55And then, yeah, TikTok, Instagram, maybe wherever you're doom scrolling at night.
69:59Hit it. So give us a follow there. We really appreciate it.
70:03Just trying to grow a little bit by a little bit, putting some effort and work into there.
70:08So it'd be nice to see you guys kind of showing some love.
70:12And as always, you know, we've been talking a lot about on process first the how to do like what to do
70:19with your rosters, whether it's competing, rebuilding and now the middle class episode that we put out.
70:24So, you know, if you were interested, if you need some help with your dynasty team, give us a roster.
70:30If you send us an email, we can get that in in long format in a video or just short format written.
70:37However you prefer. Yeah, it's it's good stuff. We have a lot of positive feedback on those.
70:42They're more popular in the offseason. And I think when people are trying to reevaluate and stuff like that.
70:48But if you're looking, you're stuck in the middle and you don't know which way to go.
70:53Hit us up. We'll be your sound wall and help you figure out what direction to take there.
70:59All right, man, we are, you know, week seven, halfway through non playoff fantasy football.
71:03It's crazy, crazy. Start start planning for those playoffs, guys.
71:06Start looking at your buys and everything and going forward.
71:09So, man, yeah. How has it treated you so far?
71:12It's been pretty good, man. Yeah. And just as a kind of follow up there, we are trying to push on on
71:19our own YouTube to get to the 100 subscriber mark.
71:22So, hey, please, let's get a subscribers. Let's try to get that maybe before the end of the year.
71:28We're at like 15 or 20 subs away. So we'd really appreciate to hit that before the end of this year.
71:34And we love y'all. Thank you for riding with us.
71:38We can pick your first. And we're out.
