A.J. Brown

NegativeRole3:00

AJ Brown is playing injured or diminished; the source observes he lacks separation on plays and is consistently covered tightly by defenders, suggesting he has lost a step. Every play requires perfect ball placement with a defender draped on him, indicating reduced explosiveness compared to his prime. The source compares his situation to aging pitchers who rely more on craft than raw stuff.

Insight page
NegativeProjection3:43

The source suggests AJ Brown has lost a step; he's evolving from a pure thrower to more of a pitcher as he ages, requiring adaptation. Something isn't right with his current performance trajectory, which has led to the emergence of other receiving options.

Insight page

AJ Barner

PositiveValue27:30

5 targets, 4 receptions, 42 yards, 80% of snaps; gets a high over-under total of 47.5 against the Bears this week; positioned as a viable streaming option with good opportunity.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveProjection28:58

Recommended as a QB streamer versus the Falcons; the Buccaneers are basically in playoff mode for the next 10 weeks of the season, positioning Mayfield for consistent streaming value.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup29:18

Baker Mayfield faces the Falcons in a potential shootout scenario; the source expects big things because Atlanta is in playoff mode needing to win out and score points, and Mayfield has historically had success against the Falcons. The source anticipates a vintage Baker Mayfield performance with back-and-forth scoring.

Insight page

Bam Knight

PositiveRole11:17

Bam Knight is the true handcuff to Jeremiah Love with 27% roster rate and 12 total opportunities in Week 7. The source explicitly identifies him as a handcuff play for Love, making him a relevant waiver wire target for deeper rosters.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveBreakout25:20

61% rostered, coming off bye week with favorable schedule (Colts, Ravens, Titans); directionally correct with Parker Washington's production; back-end tight end one with room to grow for rest of season.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveValue27:03

Dolphins receiver; the source recommends streaming Dolphins defenses almost every week and has been near profitable; expects the Dolphins offense to hit an extra gear and full bore confidence in the last month of the season with a nice late surge; Caleb Douglas positioned as a good piece and part of that offensive surge.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeUsage11:43

Chase Brown's workhorse share is being eroded by backup JP Ryan, who scored a receiving touchdown in Week 5 and a rushing touchdown in Week 6. The source emphasizes this trend cannot be ignored and represents a material concern for Brown's fantasy outlook going forward.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveValue27:03

Dolphins running back; positioned as a good piece and part of the Dolphins' expected late-season offensive surge; the source expects the Dolphins offense to hit an extra gear in the last month of the season with full bore confidence and a nice late surge.

Insight page

Davis Allen

NegativeUsage24:34

Scored two touchdowns recently; part of Rams tight end rotation where multiple players can hit but consistency is unpredictable; source cautions against chasing him when other Rams tight ends (Higbee, Parkinson) are already rostered.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveMatchup29:55

Drake London got into the end zone and is positioned to benefit from the expected back-and-forth, high-scoring nature of the Falcons-Buccaneers matchup where Atlanta needs to score points in playoff mode.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveSleeper6:58

Dylan Sampson, Cleveland Browns running back, has 77 total yards on 9 opportunities with 46% snap share. Week 8 features a tough Pittsburgh front matchup on the road, followed by Saints in Week 9. The source highlights his pass-game utility and preseason performance, positioning him as a complementary role fill for RB2 depth.

Insight page
PositiveRole7:17

The source highlights Dylan Sampson's preseason performance and movement quality, recommending he be added as a complementary role running back to fill RB2 spots; emphasis on getting the ball in his hands.

Insight page

Eli Raridon

PositiveUsage4:18

Eli Raradon, selected in the third round by the New England Patriots, has played 50% of snaps in all but one game this season. In Week 8, he faces the Dolphins, one of the most fantasy-friendly tight end matchups this year, after a tough Bears matchup (56 snaps, 1 target).

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage5:39

Emmanuel Wilson is 76% rostered and serves as Seattle's bell-cow back this year with 25 total opportunities, 115 yards, and a touchdown. Next three matchups are Bears, Cardinals, and Raiders; the Bears-Seahawks game has an over/under of 47.5 points.

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveMatchup30:09

Geno Smith faces the Las Vegas Raiders, who have given up multiple scores (at least two in the last three games) and 270 yards passing. The source expresses strong conviction, stating 'I could not be happier about seeing Geno Smith taking on the Raiders' and is putting a bid on him as a waiver wire pickup after losing Brock Purdy.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

PositiveValue26:52

Recommended as a tight end streamer versus the Patriots in week 8; 5 targets, 5 receptions, 86 yards; positioned as a viable option in streaming land when other options are limited.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

PositiveSleeper4:58

Jadarian Price is 65% rostered but remains available in some leagues. The source recommends adding him as a waiver wire pick because any week could be the one where things click for him in the Seattle backfield, which has been inconsistent.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveSleeper6:01

Jonah Coleman is 39% rostered and available in some leagues after IR stints. He has 9 rushing attempts for 54 yards and 2 receptions for 15 yards, earning praise from Sean Payton for more opportunities. Week 8 matchup is KC (41.5 over/under), followed by Panthers in Week 9 before a bye in Week 10, setting up a potential two-week ramp-up period.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeUsage7:52

Josh Jacobs shows encouraging usage in the pass game; suspension risk remains a consideration, but his receiving role is a positive development.

Insight page

Malachi Fields

PositiveBreakout22:50

Only 10% rostered with 74% snap share; could become very viable quickly if J.J. McCarthy improves his play, presenting a low-rostered upside opportunity at wide receiver.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveRole28:40

Broncos receiver; the source notes that getting Malik Washington involved, along with Chris Bell and Greg Dulcich, transforms the Broncos offense from the league worst-looking to having all these weapons available, supporting Malik Willis's QB1 projection.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveProjection28:16

Recommended as a QB streamer; gave a QB1 performance last week and is expected to give another QB1 performance via ethical hooping or garbage time against the Patriots this week; the Patriots have given up multiple scores and at least 240 yards passing in two of the last three games; with full complement of weapons including Greg Dulcich, Caleb Douglas, Malik Washington, and Chris Bell, plus a competent running game with Ollie Gordon and one of the most productive offensive lines, the Broncos offense transforms from league worst-looking to having all these weapons; available in pretty much every redraft league.

Insight page
PositiveValue29:07

The source identifies Malik Willis as a comfortable streamer for Week 8, noting he is available in pretty much every single redraft league, positioning him as an accessible waiver wire target with favorable matchup conditions.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeUsage7:34

Marshawn Lloyd is 43% rostered; experienced a mass exodus after Josh Jacobs' return and had a bad performance in week 6, but still maintains 36% snap share; has a flex role in the offense.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

PositiveValue26:16

Jets tight end versus the Raiders in week 7; 4% rostered; had two touchdowns on 63% of snaps with 5 receptions for 62 yards; the source compares his musculature and body frame favorably to Tucker Kraft, noting similar height and weight; positioned as a viable option in tight end streaming.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

PositiveRole28:40

Broncos running back; the source notes he provides a competent running game and is part of one of the most productive offensive lines, supporting the Broncos' offensive transformation and Malik Willis's QB1 projection.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveUsage1:28

Omar Cooper delivered back-to-back 100-yard receiving touchdown performances; in Week 7 he posted 5 receptions for 115 yards and 1 touchdown on 64% of snaps. The source notes he faces the Las Vegas Raiders, who have been heavily exploited by wide receivers and tight ends defensively, representing an elite matchup.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveUsage25:32

Has been phenomenal in Jaguars offense; directionally correct target for production; paired with Brenton Strange as complementary tight end option in Jaguars' favorable rest-of-season schedule.

Insight page

Savion Williams

PositiveSleeper23:00

Two consecutive weeks of concerted offensive efforts to get him the ball (3 for 47 yards, 3 for 32 yards); 6'4", 220 lbs with rare athleticism; source views this as signal, not noise of genuine offensive involvement; post-waiver stash with no FAB spend recommended.

Insight page

Seth McGowan

PositiveRole8:18

The source strongly recommends rostering Seth McGowan as a handcuff/stash ahead of the trade deadline; McGowan has the backfield to himself and passes the eyeball test; backup running backs like Braylon Allen and Ollie Gordon have proven they can perform when given volume, making McGowan a priority add before Jonathan Taylor potentially moves.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveSleeper24:03

Only 20% rostered with the best prospect profile among Rams tight ends; positioned for long-form opportunities (6-10 weeks out) as Devontae Adams' role develops; favorable next three matchups (Chargers, Commanders, Cardinals) create emergence window.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveValue25:49

Jaguars have a phenomenal schedule the rest of the way; the source recommends laying a good MVP bet on Trevor Lawrence at more plus odds for better payout.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup26:06

Jaguars have phenomenal schedule rest of season; source suggests laying MVP bet at plus odds as contrarian play with better payout potential.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeDepth Chart24:34

62% rostered; competing for targets in Rams tight end room with multiple other options (Davis Allen, Kobe Parkinson); part of unpredictable Rams tight end rotation where hitting the lottery is possible but inconsistent.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

PositiveUsage2:17

Tyrone Tracy scored another touchdown and delivered approximately 11 fantasy points in Week 7, emerging as a viable option in the Giants backfield after Cam Scatterbo's fumble issues created opportunity.

Insight page
PositiveUsage12:18

Tyrone Tracy has surged from 10% to 43% rostered and is expected to maintain utility value despite Scatterbow's return to the backfield. The source believes Tracy will continue to have fantasy relevance; he is on bye in Week 8, which provides an opportunity to acquire him on waivers before his roster rate potentially climbs further.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeRole5:10

The Seahawks are being coy about Zach Charbonnet's status after opening his practice window two weeks ago. Film showed him moving well, but the team's vague communication raises questions about potential trade involvement or role changes.

0:00Welcome back to the Redraft Show brought to you by the FFD Fantasy and we have Week 8 Waivers so 7 weeks
0:07in the books there's a lot of pain there's some progress there's a lot of hits there's also some more good stuff
0:15that we're going to talk about this is a loaded show much more so than normal we're going to cover our hits
0:22from Week 7 we're going to cover all the bye week teams so just so you know coach the 49ers the Texans
0:30the Saints and the Giants are all going to be on the show.
0:34We've been done by this week the resurrection of JJ McCarthy has led us to a place where I might have to
0:42delete some stuff now I'm team never delete so it's all good but how are you doing today?
0:48Antonio the Tiger great so many like I was on X talking all about it's I've never seen a season where I
0:55am looking through having to check all my teams and manage leagues right where I'm like look for the outs not even
1:02the IRS just like guys to clear it out and where can I stash them Rob Peter to pay Paul to get
1:10your lineup through and I won so many more leagues this week than I thought like life to teams that were dead
1:17teams that are living are even higher like it's up and it's stuck so why don't you tell us Shev about a
1:25couple of the hits that we have my friend.
1:28Well first and foremost we told you to go out there and get Omar Cooper and he just came out and gave
1:35you five for 115 and one on 64% of the snaps and now after two straight monster performances two back-to-back 100 yard
1:43touchdown games and well not 100 yards but like 100 yard touchdowns he didn't score from the one all anyway you get
1:50what I'm trying to say he had 100 yards receiving and he had a touchdown.
1:55They take on the Las Vegas Raiders who have been just getting boofed into the upside down by wide receivers tight ends
2:02really just everyone that they faced defensively. It's just been tremendous.
2:06It's been the best matchup for everyone that you could possibly imagine.
2:10So yeah, that's the wide receiver hit of the week our so it's a dual we're going to dual threat.
2:17We're going to tag team. We're the world tag team fantasy champions of this of the Giants backfield.
2:23I said go out and get Tyrone Tracy. He came out scored another touchdown gave you about 11 fantasy points which you got to be happy with.
2:32You got to be happy with coming out of you know coming off just straight from the ether the mists of Avalon
2:40cleared and there was Tyrone Tracy after Cam Scatter all of Cam Scatterbo's fumbles.
2:44And then and then you were brave enough to go out there and say hey go send some trade offers for Cam Scatterbo.
2:52And look at how that worked out just an absolute massive performance this week.
2:57And last but not least with all the injuries at wide receiver AJ Brown playing injured or just playing.
3:03I don't even know if he's it just doesn't look does it look good.
3:08Here's the thing. We're not gonna spend too much time here, but just does it look like does it look like as
3:15you always say there's nothing wrong, but something ain't right.
3:19I think it's a lot of there's no separation on all these plays and AJ Brown is having to get it the hard way.
3:27It's always been able to get contested catch balls where there's tightness, but he would often in more of his prime get separation on plays as well.
3:36So it's almost like every single play the ball is being placed perfectly, but there is a defender draped on AJ Brown.
3:43So it just kind of tells me he's lost somewhat of a step and I think there's gonna be better good days.
3:51He's gonna curate and readjust, but more of a thrower or sorry more of a pitcher than a thrower.
3:57They say that about pitchers as they get older, you know, if you throw heat and you got it, but you become more of a pitcher.
4:06And I think his craft and how he's going to evolve, he has to adapt, but something ain't right.
4:12As you said, and with something not being right, that led to an emergence of one Eli Raradon.
4:18So on the dynasty side, we've been a little bit excited since he got since he got selected in the third round by the New England Patriots.
4:28He's played 50% of the snaps in all but one game this season for for 56 and one versus the Bears were
4:35one of the toughest matchups versus tight ends. And then he gets the Dolphins who have been one of the most fantasy
4:42friendly environments tight ends this year in week eight.
4:45So just keep that in mind. And we'll talk about Eli Raradon in the show, but why don't you lead us off?
4:53Who are we checking waivers for at the running back position this week in week eight?
4:58Now it feels ugly because you've been wronged. You've been personally affronted by the Seattle Seahawks.
5:04If you've rostered Jadarian Price 65% rostered. So it's one of those things where check to see if he's there.
5:10He's not going to be everywhere, but he's going to be somewhere in some places.
5:16The Seahawks are being very coy about Zach Charbonnet after opening the practice window two weeks ago.
5:21I remember watching a film of a practice and he looked like he was moving tremendously.
5:27Charbonnet wonder could he be involved in the trade move?
5:30Who knows? But as you say, they're being coy and something's just different.
5:34Make sure you get Jadarian Price because any week it could get right for him.
5:39Emmanuel Wilson on that front, 76% rostered. Keep pushing him out.
5:43He's a bell count in Seattle this year. 25 total opportunities, 115 yards and a touchdown this week.
5:49Got the Bears, Cardinals and the Raiders the next three matchups.
5:53And that over under for the Bears Seahawks, 47 and a half points.
5:57Let's go to must-adds, Shev. Jonah Coleman. Hopefully you've had diamond hands.
6:01I've had him diamond hands in my IR spot.
6:04But understanding you've had a lot of players shift through the IR and it is very tough.
6:10I could see where somebody would just be bound to have to unfortunately give up Jonah Coleman.
6:16So if he's out there, 39% rostered, 9 for 54 rushing, 2 for 15 receiving.
6:21Very assignment sure. He earned praise from Sean Payton for more opportunities, which that could absolutely mean that J.K.
6:27Dobbins gets 35 carries next week. We know how that can go.
6:31Tough spot for him week 8 versus, is it KC, I think?
6:35Yes, that's right. Because that's a 41 and a half over under.
6:40But then you get the Panthers in week 9 before going on by in week 10.
6:45So I think it could be a two-week ramp up.
6:48And you never know with how things are going to shake the next few weeks with trade movement.
6:54We may end up getting more clarity sooner than later.
6:58Dylan Sampson, Cleveland Browns, 77 total yards on nine opportunities, 46% of snaps.
7:02Great opportunity upcoming with a tough Pittsburgh front on the road in week 8.
7:07They take on the Saints in week 9. But remember, pass game utility.
7:11And I remember seeing Dylan Sampson in preseason and being like, my God, he's moving great.
7:17Get the ball in his hands. We love Queshawn Judkins, but Dylan Sampson, or sorry, Sampson.
7:22Samsonite. Samsonite. That's who is swimming. Samsonite. Samsonite. Those are as good as money, sir.
7:27Those are IOUs. But go out and get Dylan Sampson.
7:30Complimentary role. You want to fill up your RB2 spot.
7:34Those skis yours? Yeah. Both of them? Yeah. Marshawn Lloyd, 43% rostered.
7:38According to the map, we've only gone four inches.
7:41Okay, I'll stop. Mass exodus after the Josh Jacobs return.
7:44Bad performance in week 6. Still has 36% snap share.
7:48You still have, it could happen with Josh Jacobs where he has the suspension.
7:52But incredible side note. Josh Jacobs, the usage in the pass game.
7:56Oh, very encouraging. But at the same time, Marshawn Lloyd's got a little bit of a flex role.
8:03See if you can pick him up. Sheva, can you tell us about, speaking of trade speculation, handcuffs and stashes at the running back position.
8:11Now, I have this on good authority from Jonathan Taylor's wife via TikTok, that they think that they're on the way out.
8:18So, this guy is a guy that you need to have your eyes on.
8:23You got to have him peeled. You got to get in there.
8:27If you're not tucked, you tuck it in there.
8:30Tuck it. Tuck it. Tuck it. Tuck it. Are you in there?
8:34Are you in there? I'm in there. I'm in there.
8:38Because I'm in there. I'm in there with Seth McGowan.
8:41So, he passes the eyeball test. He's not JT.
8:44Nobody's JT. Baby Derrick Henry is baby Derrick Henry.
8:47JT is a singularity of a talent. But if he takes his talents to the Pacific Northwest, then or, or, or maybe
8:55the team that he just played in the Minnesota Vikings, what are we?
8:59I mean, Seth McGowan has this backfield to himself.
9:02And then the prophecies of DJ Giddens that are now true about Seth McGowan are just holding strong.
9:08Sorry. My bad. My bad. I was trying to keep a straight face.
9:12Everybody's got their Brashard Smith, man. Although it's DeMond Claiborne for me, but man, DJ Giddens, she.
9:18No, but I, in all seriousness though, you need to be, you need to roster Seth McGowan because the trade deadline is upon us.
9:26And you can't, we can't, you can't triple stamp a double stamp.
9:30Once, once there's no more, like we we've seen it with Braylon Allen.
9:35Now we've seen it with Ollie Gordon. These guys, these backup running backs are, are ethical hoopers and they can go out when given volume and perform.
9:44So let's get ahead of the curve. Let's get Seth McGowan on your roster.
9:49Be the guy who has it, not the guy who wants it.
9:53You know what I'm saying? And then we'll move on to Kalen black.
9:5747% of the snaps. CMC had another, he, I, he suffered a case of surprise tenderness in the middle of the game.
10:04I didn't know what was going on. Look, if you haven't noticed yet, I don't have a fucking beard because CMC scored
10:1214 points on the first drive of the game and then finished the game with 18 points.
10:18Okay. That was the beer bowls this weekend. I'm sad about it.
10:22I don't want to talk about it, but you're going to say something about it in the comments.
10:28So whatever. But anyway, Kalen black, this is a must roster.
10:31If you're a CMC owner, 47% of snaps broke a 30 yard touchdown run while CMC was getting worked on.
10:38They have a buy in week eight, which gives you a rare opportunity for utility.
10:43If he is not rostered. Okay. You can, he's not going to be at the top of the priority list because he's
10:51not going to have a projection for week eight.
10:54So you just type in Kalen black on the sleeper or the Yahoo or whatever, and you can go get Kalen black.
11:01If you're a CMC owner, you're living dangerously. You're out there raw dog in the eighties with magic Johnson.
11:07Okay. If you're not using Kalen black as protection, do you understand what I'm saying to you?
11:13And then bam night, 27% roster. This is the handcuff to top.
11:17This is the handcuff to Jeremiah love. It is.
11:20It just is. We wanted to be at sea state, baby.
11:24Keep going. Hey, how tall wolf pack. Oh, look at you.
11:28You're being biased again. You're being biased again. 12 total opportunities in week seven.
11:32Like I said, he's a true handcuff to Jeremiah love.
11:36And then as much as we all hate this, Zach Taylor does this weird thing where the backup running back when it's
11:43a ma JP Ryan, him and his tremendous, like Aladdin level, like villain in Aladdin level beard come out and they're just
11:51ruining, just ruining our chase Brown party. So 13% roster touchdown, a touchdown receiving in week six, then, or excuse me, a
11:58touchdown receiving in the previous game in week five.
12:01Then they have, then they come out this week.
12:04He scores a rushing touchdown. He's just eating into the workload, the workhorse share of chase Brown.
12:10And I don't think this can be in, be ignored anymore.
12:14So he's 13% rostered. We've got to get those numbers up.
12:17We got to be the guy again. We got to be the guy having and not wanting.
12:23This is for a deeper roster though. Like if you got eight bench, nine bench, something was somewhere along those lines, shallow benches.
12:31He should still be on waivers. And then we'll close it out.
12:35You got to go get you some Tyrone Tracy.
12:38He's gone from 10% rostered to 43% rostered. This looks like it's going to be a fairly camp.
12:44Scatterbow may have worked his way back into the good races, but I do believe that Tyrone Tracy is going to continue to have utility.
12:52They're on by this week, which gives you an opportunity to get them again.
12:57I doubt that that 43% roster number changes in any way, shape or form because he'll not have a projection for week eight.
13:05So keep that in mind as you're doing your waiver priorities for this week.
13:10Jeremiah, as we move on to the wide receiver position, who's got your attention as we just wouldn't, you know what?
13:17Yep. You know what? Just, Hey, the floor is yours.
13:20I want you to give us what you got when we're talking about one NC State.
13:25Would you call him an alumni? Yes, absolutely. Yes.
13:29Okay. All right. Freshman year, I fell in love with him watching.
13:33I'm sipping on some wonderful wine on a weekend.
13:36I go out to some family in Wilmington. We got the game on and he's just killing Marshall as a true freshman.
13:43And I just fell in love, man. I love Casey Concepcion.
13:47We've been talking that she so long about Casey Concepcion and also this rookie class, because what's been on my mind is
13:54all these people who are like, you know, 2026 class.
13:58Blah, blah, blah, blah. It's not so good. Look at the waiver wire right now.
14:03It's littered with all players from the 2026 class.
14:06And I'm not even talking about like there's, you know, your Carnell Tates or Fernando Mendoza's, your Jeremiah loves who are already rostered.
14:13But you've got all headlining these latent players, not just Casey Concepcion, because he's more of a prime player from this class.
14:21Who it's like, hey, I need to win and I want fantasy football points.
14:26And guess what? Who are you going to call?
14:292026 rookie class. Casey Concepcion. If he was dropped 63% roster, he went off career day, 152 yards from scrimmage, 11 opportunities, higher target share, 20.5%.
14:37Then Denzel Boston without the air yards. And the cool thing is, if you've been paying attention, it's free to pay attention.
14:45You watch football games. You see Casey Concepcion is very close to breaking a long one for a touchdown.
14:51There's been plenty of games where like, hey, he gets tackled.
14:55Just he's getting to the next level and he's so close.
14:59Then we had that near touchdown that didn't happen.
15:02And he and Deshaun Watson talk about, hey, I owe you one.
15:06You owe me one. They're on that same page.
15:09There's accountability there, which is huge maturity for Casey Concepcion.
15:12So go out and get him. If you have him, keep him for some diamond hands.
15:18So happy for this moment. He's breaking out. It's happening.
15:21He should have been a fifth round pick, in my opinion, in redraft.
15:25And as the season goes along, I think it'll end up being justified.
15:30People say, oh, crap, this should have been a fifth round pick up to this point, though.
15:35We haven't got the full breakout. We've seen the symptoms.
15:39And now we fully have. So long story short, go out and get yourself some Casey Concepcion if he's there.
15:46I blow all the fab for it. Omar Cooper, 5, 115 and 1, 75% rostered.
15:51Tempered the expectations. Garrett Wilson was frustrated about not getting the ball in week seven.
15:56I think it'll go back and forth. But this goes and speaks back.
16:00This is so satisfying, Shev. We've talked about all offseason.
16:03Browns, Jets, our offenses. And this was months ago where we're like, come next year, they're going to be two of the most viable fancy football spots.
16:13And one of the teams that we looked at and talked about was the Philadelphia Eagles.
16:18That in comparison, it could be a better setup for those offenses.
16:22Oh, no, man. You're just biased. Oh, you're just crazy.
16:25But I just say, we just say you were helmet scouting.
16:29So go out and get yourself some Omar Cooper.
16:32Keon Coleman, 54% rostered. DJ Moore, chef, still recovering from that injury.
16:36Six targets, a touchdown in three straight games. And then, who are you going to call a 2026 working class?
16:43Jordan Tyson, 65% rostered. So a little bit still out there.
16:47In very competitive leagues, he's stashed on somebody's IR.
16:50Understood. Hopefully, you understood the assignment and were able to maneuver that on draft day.
16:55By midseason, can that pay off for what's a free stash, essentially?
16:59I think so. So make sure you have him if you can.
17:03Shev, tell us. Speaking of more 2026 working class, tell us some must-ads at the receiver position.
17:09My God, is that another 2026 rookies music? Like, that's Caleb Douglas.
17:1319% rostered. Fresh off of four games missed, I believe.
17:16Comes out of the gate. Two for 70-2 in that massive touchdown with the hezy dead leg on the sideline.
17:23And he shows off the 439 speed. So 68% of the snaps.
17:27He is the de facto number one. No matter how bad I wanted it to be, Chris Bell.
17:33This is the number one in this offense. And they got their first win.
17:38And this is the best that Malik Willis has looked playing American tackle football in 2026.
17:43And I think it has a lot to do with the trust and rapport that he has in a rookie, ironically enough.
17:50A guy that we thought that just, hey, I knew about this guy.
17:55He was in my spreadsheet when he was a ninth grader at Truman Elementary School.
18:00I've known about him for years. And he just doesn't have the upside.
18:04So, like, all those people now just have to shut the hell up.
18:09And then, this is not intentional, by the way.
18:12We're not just highlighting rookies so that you guys, so that we could just victory lap.
18:17But another 2026 guy with a tremendous opportunity in front of him.
18:21Dan Quinn's come out and said there's going to be a larger role for him and Traylon Burks.
18:27Antonio Williams, only 19% rostered, coming off the bye.
18:30They've had this week to come in. David Blau and Dan Quinn and company, the coaching staff, has had a week to
18:38come up with how to rebuild this passing tree with the loss of Terry McLaurin to the torn patellar tendon.
18:44Alliteration aside, we've got to figure out how to get Jaden Daniels' weapons involved.
18:49I think that one of the biggest beneficiaries is going to be Antonio Williams.
18:54So, wanted to make sure that we highlighted that.
18:57He passes the eye test with flying colors. Again, if you're looking at it through spreadsheets, you're not going to see that
19:04he scored an 87-yard touchdown versus the Colts got called back.
19:08And he's just had all, he's had these toothpaste tube moments that, if you're watching, you've seen, you just know it's a matter of time before he explodes.
19:17And then, and then now, here we are looking at him just being 19% rostered and we got to get those numbers up.
19:25So, and last but not least, another 2026 rookie.
19:28We should call this the rookie waiver show for week eight.
19:32Jacoby Lane, 35% rostered. Hopefully, Lamar Jackson is back in the fold this week for this massive, massive AFC matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
19:40Five targets in back-to-back games. 50% of the snaps.
19:43Greater than 50% of the snaps in both games since his return from wrist surgery and IR.
19:49So, you just want to keep an eye on that.
19:52And then, the preeminent stash here is one of these things is not like the other.
19:58Travis Hunter. Okay? Only 15% rostered. Coming off of a bye.
20:01It gets, BTJ got a dreaded vote of confidence this week from Liam Cohen.
20:06And I just, when I saw that, when I read that, I was like, oh, they are done, done with Brian Thomas Jr.
20:14It just, I need to go watch the press conference to see his face.
20:19But, adult Stewie Griffin is out here lying to us.
20:22And I know, I know, I just can't prove it.
20:25They are done with Brian Thomas Jr. And, if you recall, it was around this time last year that they were talking
20:33about ramping Travis Hunter up on offense. So, I think that we might be in that world.
20:38And we definitely need to be paying attention to what's going on with Jacksonville.
20:43Because he offers, we love Parker Washington. But he offers an element of dynamism that just, no, there are very few people
20:51in the NFL that have it with the ball in his hand.
20:55So, you saw what he did to T. Higgins on an interception that didn't count.
21:00But, just keep that in mind. And, last but not least, Traylon Burks, who we mentioned earlier, 6% rostered.
21:06He gets the Eagles in week 8. And that secondary is taking a massive step backwards.
21:11He's a near full-time player. 59, 73, and 55% of the snaps in the three previous weeks.
21:17But, six targets, four receptions for 66 yards. And then, almost an incredible touchdown catch on Monday Night Football where he just didn't survive the ground.
21:26But, this is not just a regular run-of-the-mill player.
21:29This is near and dear to my heart because he was a Tennessee Titan.
21:34And, I'll never hold it against him because he got drafted into an organization that's an absolute dumpster fire.
21:40And, it's going to set the record for the longest time without back-to-back wins in NFL history.
21:46So, I'm not going to hold that against him.
21:49You understand? I'm not mad. Yeah. I'm not going to hold that against him because he was drafted into an organization that
21:56couldn't figure out how the hell to use a guy with freakish athleticism like that.
22:01I know. So, that's just... Keep that in mind.
22:04He's going to be a zero dollar or a post-waiver claim.
22:08Going into that, just keep believing. Just keep believing as we move into these post-waiver stashes that Kanata Mumfield could be a thing.
22:16It could. It could happen. Okay? There's just... Arthur Smith is creaming his Jeremiah Smith onesie, thinking about all the tight end
22:23uses that the Rams are doing right now. So, there's just not a lot of room for Kanata Mumfield.
22:30But, this is a dynamic player with the ball in his hands.
22:34If you're in a deep league, if you're really hurting at wide receiver, if basically all your wide receivers come from the
22:41teams that are on by this week, just keep that in mind as someone that you might be able to play this week in a favorable matchup.
22:50And then, Malachi Fields, only 10% rostered, 74% of the snaps.
22:54If J.J. McCarthy is completely cured of just being ass, this could be very, very viable very quickly.
23:00And last but not least, Savion Williams. I want to highlight Savion Williams because we need...
23:06Like, this is not a drill. This is two weeks in a row of them making concerted efforts to get him the ball.
23:13Four for... Three for 47. And three for 32.
23:16But, this is 6'4", 220. With a rare set of athleticism that we just don't want to...
23:22We don't want to sneeze at because I think that this is something that is signal and not noise of his involvement in the offense.
23:31I mean, with Savion, it's signal, not noise in my opinion.
23:34So, we definitely want to... Definitely want to just...
23:37This is a post-waiver stash. You don't have to spend any money.
23:41I do not recommend spending any fab. But, why don't you close us out with the tight ends?
23:47The tight ends was National Tight End Day this weekend.
23:51We've got a bunch of tight end rooms. We've got a couple of actual players.
23:56But, tell us about who we need to have our eyes on on waiver wire this week at tight end.
24:03Hey, Rams will make her dance. We love saying it.
24:06Next three matchups for the Rams tight ends. Chargers, Commanders, Cardinals.
24:10Look. You're bound to get something. It's like whack-a-mole.
24:13You're going to hit something right. You're not going to get them all.
24:17Terrence Ferguson is 20% rostered. We're awaiting him. He's got the best profile prospect.
24:22And, remember, this is long form. This is six to ten weeks out for Devontae Adams.
24:27Where there's going to be long form opportunities for a tight end to emerge for a larger sample size.
24:34Tyler Higbee, 62% rostered. Kobe Parkinson. Damn it. Davis Allen scored two touchdowns.
24:38And it's like, man. I pick up Parkinson in one league because I know Tyler Warren.
24:43And it's like where you're getting the spear thrown and Jim Carrey's Ace Ventura in one quad to the other leg.
24:51Like, ah, man. I can't get it. But if you hit the lottery for the tight end position on the Rams, you will prosper.
24:59So sprinkle around. They're likely claimed and on somebody else's roster.
25:02But I would imagine, speaking to the 20% roster ship of Ferguson, you should put a little bit of an extra sprinkle.
25:10So I think that's going to be the move.
25:13Because a lot of people are going to chase Davis Allen.
25:16And they will have already stashed and had Tyler Higbee.
25:20So Brenton Strange. Stranger Things. Coming off the bye week, 61% rostered.
25:24First, the Colts. Then he gets the Ravens and the Titans.
25:28So talk about getting right. Be right so you don't have to get right.
25:32Brenton Strange. We've talked about directionally correct. Parker Washington has been phenomenal.
25:36Anytime it veers off of that, surprisingly, Brenton Strange.
25:39Back end, tight end one. And I think he has room to grow for the rest of the season.
25:46And Jaguars. Just alert out there, Shev and everybody.
25:49Jaguars have a phenomenal schedule the rest of the way.
25:52Like Trevor Lawrence, right now, if you want to lay a good MVP bet for more plus odds, that's a little bit layered downward.
26:00Where you get a little more payout. Trevor Lawrence.
26:03Must add, Eli Raritan. We spoke to the game that he had last week.
26:08Gets the Dolphins. He's 2% rostered. Just an awesome, excellent play opportunity.
26:12And we're picking on the Miami Dolphins. Jets tight ends.
26:16Mason Taylor versus the Raiders. 4% rostered. Huge game in week 7.
26:20Had the two touchdowns. 63% of snaps. 5 for 62.
26:23Delayed, not denied on Kenyon Sadiq. But we do have to acknowledge Mason Taylor.
26:28And when I watch Mason Taylor, I remember looking at his musculature, his body frame, not even knowing height and weight at the time.
26:36And thinking, man, this guy reminds me of Tucker Kraft.
26:39And then I looked at their height, their weight.
26:42They're very similar. And the way he did his...
26:45Now I'm getting into prospect stuff. So all that to say, people, is Mason Taylor, he's an option, okay?
26:52And then Greg Dulcich versus the Patriots. 5 targets.
26:555 receptions. 86 yards. One note on, like with Caleb Douglas, Dolphins.
26:59In streaming land defenses, we recommend them almost every week.
27:02And we've been near profitable, shy of the Jets.
27:05But I will say, this Dolphins offense, Chev, as probably that last month of the season, I expect them to really hit
27:13an extra gear and full bore confidence for the team build.
27:16And they're just going to have like a nice little late surge.
27:20There's going to be a lot of optimism there.
27:23So good pieces and parts of your Chris Bells, your Caleb Douglases, and this week in a pinch, Greg Dulcich.
27:30AJ Barner, 5 targets. 4 receptions. 42 yards. 80% of snaps.
27:34Again, gets that high over under total 47.5 against the Bears this week than the Cardinals and the Raiders.
27:40You could do way worse for the opportunity there.
27:43Chico Conquo for the Commanders. 16% rostered. Versus the Eagles week 8.
27:47He's got 58 of 71 for 76% snaps. There was an injury to Terry McLaurin, and that opens up questions for who is it going to be?
27:56Who are the best athletes? Will it be Antonio Williams?
28:00Will it be Okonkwo? Will it just be a combination of the two?
28:04Six and seven targets back-to-back and 60 yards for Chico Conquo.
28:08Again, we mentioned the Eagles. You've got the Rams.
28:11And then the Giants. And then, Chev, can you finish us off with some QB streamers?
28:16Oh, I can't wait to finish this off. So, we're taking Malik Willis.
28:21We're staying in the flames. Malik Willis gave you a QB1 performance this past week.
28:26He's going to give you a QB1 performance via ethical hooping or garbage time against the Patriots this week.
28:32You love to see it. So, two of the last three games, they've given up multiple scores and at least, I believe, 240 yards passing.
28:41And I think that with his full complement of weapons, we can get there.
28:45We're finally seeing the usage from Greg Dulcich that you alluded to earlier.
28:50We have Caleb Douglas operating as number one. If we get Malik Washington and Chris Bell involved, all of a sudden, this
28:57goes from the league worst-looking offense with a competent running game with Ollie Gordon.
29:02And just, like, there's no holes. It was one of the most productive offensive lines.
29:07Now you've got all these weapons in here. So, Malik Willis is a comfortable streamer for me this week.
29:13And, I mean, he's available in pretty much every single one of my redraft leagues.
29:18One quarterback, of course. And then Baker Mayfield versus the Falcons didn't have to do much.
29:24But they're basically in playoff mode for the next 10 weeks of the season.
29:29They've got to win out to have any sort of shot to do anything.
29:33And Baker pretty much had had the number of the Atlanta Falcons up until, excuse me, up until last year.
29:40So, I think that this is going to present itself as a potential shootout with the Atlanta Falcons needing to score points.
29:47They've had a pretty good handle on what Todd Bowles does defensively.
29:52I expect big things. Drake London got into the end zone.
29:55I think this could go back and forth. This could ping pong back and forth.
30:00And Baker Mayfield could give you a vintage performance with his Michael Jackson glove.
30:05And then, last but not least, Geno Smith versus the Las Vegas Raiders.
30:09They've given up multiple scores. I believe at least two scores in the last three games and 270 yards passing.
30:16Let me pull that one. Let me pull that one really quickly.
30:20But, yeah, I am. I could not be happier about seeing Geno Smith taking on the Raiders.
30:26I have a league where I have Brock Purdy as my starting quarterback.
30:30And we're obviously going to be without him this week.
30:34So, I'm putting a bid on Geno Smith. And that's where I'm going to pass.
30:39That's why my bread is going to get buttered at the quarterback position in week eight.
30:44So, that's going to close us out. This has been another episode of The Waiver Show.
