0:00What is going on folks? Pete Nova here with PlayerProfiler.
0:03I'm joined by Coach, aka Jeremiah. And today the big day is here.
0:07We are drafting in the NFC 150 Best Ball Championship.
0:10Super excited to be drafting today. I will be drafting out of the 11 hole.
0:15Jeremiah will be helping me with my team. We'll go over strategy.
0:19We'll go over promo codes. We'll answer any questions that you guys have inside the actual draft.
0:24And then we'll also go over some recent news with NFL Camp to keep things going, keep things talking and moving.
0:31Jeremiah, super excited to get things rolling here. How are you feeling?
0:34I'm really excited. And we just did a show, Pete, with Wyatt where we talked about round two running backs.
0:41So funny enough, you're at the 11. We're going to have a piece and a choice of who that round two running back is.
0:48In case people are watching, Pete, I'm not sure if you want to give away.
0:53I know what your preference is, but how are you feeling as you are going to be at the wraparound at the
1:00back end of round one, one, two turn? Yeah, I'm feeling I'm feeling good.
1:04I'm definitely, definitely feeling good. Let me just make sure.
1:07Let me make sure I turn off the volume here to turn off sound effects.
1:12Let's mute that. And then let me actually pull it up.
1:15I'm going to pull up the roster grid like this.
1:18Oh, and we have started Pete. Yeah, we have started.
1:22Here we go. This is PPR setting. Yep, yep, yep, yep.
1:25Here we go. And we have this best ball championship.
1:28I'll read it as it's going, Pete. It's already started hot.
1:32150 entry, 12 teams, 30 rounds, third round reversal.
1:34Okay, you're drafting, you're done format. Tracking cumulative points over 17 weeks.
1:38Top three get paid out 800 to first. And then the grand prize for those playoff weeks, 30k.
1:44Prize based on 230 leagues, Pete. 2,760 teams. Not a bad amount in a tournament setting.
1:49Deep 30 rounds that we're going to go to let you hoard your late round upside plays.
1:54So very excited about this, Pete. We see three go off the board.
1:58Gibbs, Bijon, Chase. Any surprise there? No, not surprising.
2:01You'll see Team Terranova. My father is actually in this.
2:04So there's two Team Terranovas here, just so you're aware.
2:07So there's a couple people in here. There's a couple people, a couple followers.
2:12Lisa's in here as well. Laterulo, Bogley. So we've got a couple of familiar faces.
2:16So when you see Terranova, that is my father, just so you are aware.
2:21So he took Gibbs. I'm not super surprised. Gibbs is my 101.
2:24So that's not overly surprising for me. This is a third round reversal.
2:29So with the third round reversal, I don't really mind the 11 spot.
2:33This is a Kentucky Derby system. So essentially the way that works is with a Kentucky Derby system, you set your preferences
2:39for where, what draft slots are most valuable to you.
2:43And then it's almost like randomized where if I get picked with the 101 preference 101 and my preference is, let's just
2:50say the 112, I will get the 112. So it picks it randomly from that, but you set up your preferences and slots and it goes from there.
2:58I'm arguing Hampton here at the 109 that you're going to notice in these NFCs, uh, NFFC drafts that the ADP is much, much sharper.
3:06A lot of guys are pushing players up the board that you might not see in more homely casual drafts.
3:12So, um, this is interesting. Hampton at the 109 is, is pretty rich for me, but we just did a video on him.
3:20Uh, I'm actually on the board now. Why don't you talk about Hampton while I make this pick, uh, and, and talk
3:26a little bit about your thoughts on him. Yep.
3:29And they're going to yank the steering wheel. It's going to happen all night.
3:34And there'll be times when you apply this Pete, and there'll be times when other people in this draft do not everything
3:40that's chalk will emerge, but with Hampton going, you're going to have plenty of opportunities elsewhere.
3:45We had two weeks back to back where he was RB three and RB four against your Denver Broncos, Pete.
3:52And he went against the New York giants and then receiving game.
3:55He had, I think it was like 32 receptions last year in nine games.
4:00So the reception game is out there. People aren't, they're really sleeping to me on the fact that Omarion Hampton is a three down skillset back.
4:08Now I know you have a player that you prefer.
4:11Maybe you'll mention him in a moment, but after I go on there about O'Marion Hampton, Jefferson goes in front of you.
4:18You take James cook, why James cook? And would you have taken Justin Jefferson were he default?
4:23Yeah, it's, it's close. But for me and my, in my overall ranking so far, I have cook ahead of Jefferson.
4:30I've cook as my eighth ranked player. I have Jefferson at 12.
4:34I have CD lamb at 13. So I'm on the board here.
4:37CD lamb does come back to me. I have my reservations a little bit about lamb, but it's hard not to take him right here.
4:45I do have him ranked as my 13th best player.
4:48So I'm just going to stick to my board and I'll take him, I'll take him right here.
4:54Now, Pete, as you go there, you're at the wraparound term.
4:57We got a little bit of time to talk and break down things.
5:01James cook goes at the one 11 for you.
5:04You have CD lamb who you're might be a little bit reticent, but board value presents itself.
5:10Now we just finished a recording where I talked to Marion Hampton.
5:13You had talked about how much you like chase Brown.
5:16Was there some trigger happy inclination towards you selecting chase Brown or is he further down your order?
5:22As we see Ashton Chanty tends to go before somebody like chase Brown, but there he is back to back as we
5:29speak about him, Pete, they're going to get gone if you don't pick them.
5:33Yeah. So I actually, I have Walker and I have chase Brown, both ranked ahead of CD lamb here.
5:39So I could have definitely taken both guys. Uh, but I have a good feeling because this is a third round reversal.
5:46Um, I have a good feeling of what's going to come back to me.
5:51Whereas normally in this slot, you know, where, where you would be, it's going to be a long time before it comes back to you.
5:58So the running backs can thin out. If it comes back to me, you have guys probably like, you know, there's possibility
6:05that Derek Henry comes back to me. There's still a lot of good running backs on the board that I like.
6:12Um, so I'm totally happy with that and I'm good with the wide receivers that come back too.
6:17So I'm, I'm, we got to also keep in mind, this is a start three wide receiver format.
6:23So that also plays into fact. Now there's two guys right here, three guys that have taken running back, running back.
6:30Right. So we know those guys are probably going to take wide receiver next.
6:34So if I don't take CD another wide receiver in the third round, there is a good chance that there's going to be a nice run here.
6:43Um, and then it's going to take a little bit of time to come back to me, right.
6:48If you think about it, because it's starting back where I'm at.
6:52So, um, it's going to be interesting. I want to see where the ball, the board falls, but this could open up
6:59some opportunity for a good wide receiver to come back to me because people are doubling up and even have Josh Allen
7:06going here, uh, which it feels high, but in these kinds of leagues, it's, it's not that crazy.
7:11Um, sometimes people just want to go get him and secure those kinds of points in a big tournament field.
7:18Well, I think you took pressure off yourself with the three wide receiver format, getting CD lamb.
7:23You have an anchor receiver and an anchor running back in James cook.
7:27And what's going to happen to, but the people who are starting RB RBP, I'm essentially going to see and predicting call
7:34that we're going to see guys like Parker Washington, maybe Marvin Harrison, Jr.
7:38Those sorts of wide receivers, Christian Watson, even on down some mid level value on Josh downs, Jordan Addison.
7:44I think those are going to be the types of receivers who avail themselves.
7:48And why wouldn't you, um, as you're coming back around, is there any temptation towards somebody?
7:53I know you're a Broncos fan. Are you bullish towards say a Jalen Waddle or if Reese Hall were to present himself on the board?
8:01Cause Derek Henry already went, what do you, what do you like about that flexibility?
8:06Yeah. In a format like this, I'd much rather anchor down with a, running back and then stack wide receivers early and
8:13then try to try to go some running backs later on.
8:16Um, so that's probably my strategy a little bit here early on.
8:20Um, I do want to say Cole did send in a question.
8:24He said, uh, he's got the one-on-one in an hour.
8:27How do we feel about Malik at the three Oh one?
8:30I don't know if we're talking Malik Willis. I don't know if this is a dynasty startup.
8:35Is it a super flex draft? And that's why Malik would go through a one.
8:40I don't know. It's a real question, Cole. So, uh, give us a little more context there.
8:45Cause I'm, I'm a little confused on that. Can I just, I'm just going to go on that with the assumption that it is Malik neighbors.
8:54Hell yeah. You're absolutely. So yeah. And that's fine.
8:56See Pete's on the board. Everybody podcast Pete is on the board.
9:00George Pickens goes three, one. We'll talk about your pick in a moment, but yes, you do go Malik neighbors and has he gone here?
9:08I would. Yes. Oh yeah. Yes. This is so great.
9:11I love Malik neighbors. There's one other player who's there.
9:14He's off the board now, but I'm looking at a Mecca Buka.
9:18Another episode that we had Pete, where I see him, a Mecca Buka as a round one player next year.
9:24He is as good as gone right now for us.
9:27It'll probably go in the next five, six picks.
9:30Yeah. But Malik neighbors, you absolutely smash because that's somebody who is around one player, Pete.
9:35So great value. Tell us how you feel about Malik neighbor.
9:39Somebody who can get anywhere from 170 to 200 targets in an offense.
9:43He's got that high upside ceiling, especially if we see him cutting.
9:46We were talking about training camp narratives. We've already seen him cutting well on the field back to back days.
9:53Pete, how do you feel about Malik neighbors here and break it down for us in 2026?
9:58Yeah. Neighbors. I have ranked as my 14th player in fantasy this year.
10:02I'm having right behind CD lamb, Justin Jefferson, Kenneth Walker, chase Brown.
10:06I have him as a high for a high second round pick.
10:10I mean, you know, from a lot of people that I trust that are giving some analysis on how he looks so
10:16far, some of the videos I'm seeing, I have no doubt in my mind that he's going to play week one at this point.
10:24And, you know, even if he's takes a couple of weeks to get up to speed, we can alleviate that right with
10:31drafting, you know, maybe a high upside player later on at wide receiver that may keep maybe can give us some spikes.
10:38Um, so I have, I have no concern. Um, also keeping in mind by weeks are important.
10:43I don't focus on it too, too much, but none of our guys have the same by week.
10:49We're also got it. We got to start thinking about stacks as well, right?
10:53CD lamb, Malik neighbors. Both of those guys have quarterbacks that are easily easy to be stacked, right?
10:59Dak Prescott. You also have Jackson dart. So that also has to come into your mind when we're talking about best ball
11:06and we're talking about, you know, how we can win a tournament.
11:09Uh, those are things that are important. Um, and I do want to make sure I make note as well.
11:16One more time. Uh, this is $150 best ball championship on NFFC.
11:19Uh, you can go ahead and use first time, uh, 100 to get a hundred dollars off, uh, of $150 entry.
11:26So if you're a new, new, new time user, which I'm sure people are in this draft right now, this draft only costs them $50.
11:34And there's tons of other promo codes with player profiler.
11:37It's in the description as well, if you want to use it, but, um, you don't have to be a first time
11:44player or first time drafter on NFC NFFC in order to get, uh, you know, those discounts.
11:49I'm looking at the chat, try not to laugh here because why it's in the chat.
11:54And we just recorded with why it was a smash and grab.
11:58We, we, we put out a great, great video.
12:01That's going to come out tomorrow. It's going to come on the audio side as well tomorrow.
12:06Uh, and literally probably about five minutes before stream cameras are flying.
12:10I got to switch laptops. Jeremiah is getting up to get water.
12:13Why it's sitting there, you know, trying to talk to us and we're just kind of mad dashing.
12:19Uh, for the, for the behind the scenes. I also went, it's very important that people know context there, Pete.
12:25I did go pee. And here's another question from William Stevenson.
12:29Give me a contract. How close to neighbors do we place a lobby?
12:33I'm going to assume this is a dynasty web question, but either way in both formats to me is a slam dunk for Malik neighbors.
12:41You get security and Chris Olave. It keeps a lobby safely.
12:44I saw Wolf trellis hurt. Shout out to Wolf.
12:47Talk about, Hey, that's a wide receiver one in dynasty crystal lobby.
12:51So good call out William on that. But, uh, Pete, you notice on the board, nobody has a uniform.
12:57We're early in the round four. Nobody has a uniform of all positions.
13:01It's not painted all yellow right now. Everybody's got a mix of something.
13:05How do you feel about the mix that you have with cook lamb and neighbors versus the rest of the board here?
13:12What you're seeing? Uh, I'm, I'm pretty happy with it.
13:15Um, trying to, trying to see if we can get a better camera shot.
13:19Do you think that the board is, is still visible enough here?
13:23I'm just trying to make sure, uh, that the viewers can see it.
13:27That might've been, I might've probably made it worse.
13:30Honestly. I like this. I can see that pretty good.
13:33The initial one that you had going on this one.
13:36And shout out to William. Yes. Everyone goes P it's, it's very functional for everybody.
13:41Oh, that's, that's a beautiful, beautiful piece right there.
13:43We see Terry McLaurin go at I'll just break down team four right now.
13:48You go ahead while I start doing all this one Oh four JSN, Derek Henry, Josh Jacobs, Terry McLaurin.
13:54Very interesting because you have some old dusty players paired with, well, not dusty, but they're closer to being dust, right?
14:00They're, they're just crusty. They're a little long in the tooth.
14:04You're crusty and dusty. Yeah. Derek Henry last year, RB eight though.
14:08Overall, Josh Jacobs. I'm not sure about that in round three, especially I'm just not sure about that pick right there.
14:14Uh, going in that direction, they could have taken Brees Hall.
14:18So I think that's a mistake. How do you like Brees Hall in round three?
14:22Uh, we know we love chase Brown. We love a Marion Hampton, Kenneth Walker in round two, but how about Brees Hall?
14:29That's not patched together with those running backs. Pete.
14:32Yeah. Brees Hall is tough. Uh, I am, I prefer Jacobs.
14:35I prefer Javante Williams, both over Brees Hall right now.
14:38Um, Jacobs I'm actually fine with on the third round cost.
14:42Uh, I think he's going to play. I don't have concerns that he's going to get suspended.
14:47Uh, I think he's at a great value. If there wasn't suspension talk, I gotta be honest.
14:53Like I think he'd be close to a two, three turn pick, right?
14:57That's the only thing that's really holding him down here.
15:00Jeremiah, in my opinion, uh, from being in that spot.
15:03I know people have some concern once one player or two players I really, really love in this.
15:09Uh, and I love that they are going ahead of Higgins and Jamison Williams is Jalen Waddle.
15:14And I would also say, uh, Terry McLaurin. Uh, those are two guys I'm very, very high on.
15:19Um, I expect them to be fifth round picks in non high stakes drafts, but, um, really, really like, I don't mind
15:26going up and getting those guys in the early fourth round.
15:30Cause I think those guys are going to be studs this year.
15:34They in board reading right now, looking at teams as they're scaffolding and setting things up team three boy with Jalen Waddle and Jamar chase.
15:41They're going to have good options out on Joe Burrow for a stacking partner and bone Nix.
15:47Then going to team four. I know I spoke to some of the longer in the tooth players, but Terry McLaurin, I
15:54think that's a ripe team as we're watching this unfold go for Jaden Daniels.
15:58And I'm seeing over here, team nine with just one wide receiver and Zay flowers.
16:03They have three running backs. They have Hampton. So they're that team that started at one nine.
16:08They have Hampton. They have chase Brown, David Montgomery wrapped around some Zay flowers.
16:12I'll be interested to see when Lamar Jackson goes there.
16:15So Pete, you are up now. Cam Scadbo just went, are you tilted at all that he went?
16:21Was he a running back? You had your eyes on?
16:24Is there somebody like things that you might like, like what's your play here?
16:29Yeah. Scadbo is definitely my actual next pick. Um, so that definitely stings.
16:33Uh, I'm going to, I'm going to go with Mike Evans here.
16:36Um, we're going for ceiling. Uh, I'm considering we're, we're talking ceiling.
16:40I do typically prefer Roma duns a over Luther burden, but in a format like this, when we're talking high upside, high ceiling, right?
16:48The range of outcomes for burden, the type of player he is, um, he is a player that I don't mind drafting
16:55ahead of, ahead of Roma duns a in these formats, managed redraft leagues, non big tournament style.
17:00I prefer Rome, but what, if we're shooting for the stars, Luther burden is a guy that I would be heavily considering.
17:07I know I took Mike Evans. I'm considering taking him on the way back though.
17:11Burden here. Um, and it is me up so I can go ahead and shoot my shot here, Jeremiah, um, on a guy like him.
17:19I'm also considering some other players. I feel like I got, I think I prefer going running back.
17:25Cause I still like the crop of receivers that are coming up.
17:29Trevor Henderson, Travis ETN, who would you take between the two of these guys?
17:33Trevor Henderson. All right, let's do it. All right.
17:36We'll take a Trevor on Henderson. Um, so that gives us for the listeners at home.
17:41It is currently a build that is James cook, CD lamb, Malik neighbors, Mike Evans, Trevor on Henderson.
17:46I mean, that's a lot of upside. There is some risk here though with injuries, right?
17:51Obviously you have CD who's dealt with some injuries a little bit the last few years, Mike Evans, who's had his issues as well, staying healthy.
18:00And then obviously the Malik neighbors, but true days, Jeremiah, I mean, if all these guys are healthy, the ceiling is very high for a team like this.
18:08And again, that's we're, we're shooting for ceiling in a, in a tournament style like this.
18:13Well, funny enough, you mentioned that with trivia on Henderson, he could very well, if he hits his ceiling play this time
18:20next year, he's being drafted among the likes of somebody like a Jameer Gibbs, B John Robinson.
18:26He's really got that archetype that we'd like to see.
18:29And you have three round one players jammed into your roster while this little discount exists for Malik neighbors in the wraparound
18:36with you at the one 11 going cook lamb.
18:38You have two round one players in my opinion and Malik neighbors.
18:42So you really have now granted, all these people are sharp drafting.
18:46You have three round one players, Pete, and then you have the high upside of Mike Evans, where you're not married to
18:53him playing or not on a given week due to maybe a hamstring issue.
18:57Right. But then you're baking an RB two upside.
19:00Trayvon Henderson. I absolutely love that. It's you can kind of go later and later and anchor your running back.
19:06I like how you went for the upside here.
19:09So in five rounds, three receivers, two running backs, I think there's a lot of pressure off you with your bill, Pete,
19:16because going to fill the flex spot, there's less pressure on you to go after the receiver position.
19:22Whereas we've seen some people who went heavy at running back are having to catch up some at receiver.
19:27Yeah. And, and I talked about it, but there, there are a couple of running backs that I happen to really like.
19:34Rico Dowdle is one of them. I also like Rashad White later on.
19:38Um, you also have Jonathan Brooks, who's being steamed up.
19:42Parker Washington does go. I really, really was hoping I could get him on the way back, but I had a feeling it wasn't going to happen.
19:50He does go pretty high in these formats, fifth round, uh, you know, 58th overall.
19:55Um, so bummer there, but yeah, to your point, I mean, we, we have set up this build now where we have an anchor with James cook.
20:03Our receiver room is, is in a really, really good spot.
20:07We have the ability to kind of go wherever we want to go right now.
20:11Um, you know, your roster construction can definitely guide your picks, right?
20:15Um, each, each pick that we take, you know, in, in your mind, when you are building a team should kind of
20:22narrow your decisions that you have to make in the future, Jeremiah, like that should be the goal as we are drafting
20:29is to narrow and make as, as it's kind of like people that don't like, like, don't like to stream defenses, right?
20:36People prefer to say, Hey, I want as the least amount of decisions as possible because there's already enough decisions I got
20:43to make on a weekend and week out basis.
20:45And it's the same thing here, right? Like the, the, the more we've, we've structured this in a way that it allows
20:52us to be pretty free on where we want to go.
20:56We don't have to be tied into saying, Hey, we have to chase at wide receiver, but we're narrowed in where we're
21:03saying, Hey, we should probably start maybe looking at the quarterbacks, the tight ends, uh, and maybe taking a running back as well.
21:10Receiver. We can kind of wait for, unless there's a guy we really, really like that slips down to us.
21:16I love that breakdown. So if we do see receiver value, I think that's something that you could investigate and click, but
21:23taking a look at the bills, we had mentioned some other teams in this draft, how they're setting up with their quarterbacks
21:30that helps you get out of each other's way.
21:33The beauty of having CD lamb, a Dak Prescott, who's going to be inclined to click on Dak Prescott.
21:39You know, it's not like there's many players on the elevator up to him that are there.
21:44You know, you do have your George Pickens person to look out for, but then, which doesn't make sense, which we can
21:51visit too, but then you have Malik neighbors. So you're going to have an opportunity quarterback 10 and 11 Dak Prescott and Jackson Dart.
21:58They go 81 and 88 respectively. And then you're setting up for stacking partner, Brock Purdy, who's QB 13, who we know
22:05you love Pete as a high quarterback too. What's your thought as we approach this end?
22:10Are you going to be feeling like you need to pull the trigger on one, two, or maybe just see what the board gives you?
22:18Yeah, probably seeing what the board gives us this, this strategy with these wide receivers has allowed us to easily stack any of them.
22:25So it gives us a chance where we say, Hey, if we don't love the board, we can take one of those quarterbacks if they're there.
22:34If we love some guys, we don't have to push and press to go get a quarterback with Purdy.
22:39It's a little bit interesting because I do feel like I have to start adjusting with him because with Pierce all out,
22:46um, I definitely think it has some effect. Um, I did have him pinned for like 4,500 yards this year, but with
22:53Pierce all out with Kirk already having some injuries as well.
22:57Um, you know, it, it definitely requires some adjustment in his ranking a little bit.
23:01Um, you know, as we're kind of steaming up to week one.
23:05Well, speaking of steam and we're not talking about Cleveland, Pete, tell us about the tight end play.
23:11Is there any tight end play here? Or are you starting to sit with that barbell strategy where you see some of the better ones go early?
23:19Granted, Kyle Pitts hasn't been taken yet. And then there's some later tight ends that you could be malleable towards.
23:25I, I, well, I just got to say Bucky Irving, uh, the, the, the fade has, has gone a little far.
23:32I mean, pick 70 overall. I was, I was almost all over him.
23:36He just got picked right ahead of us. We are on the board here.
23:40I'm looking at the tight ends. A lot of guys that I liked are off the board.
23:46We could probably wait and go with a, uh, with a Jake Ferguson, looking at some of the quarterbacks.
23:52There are some elite guys there. Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams is still there.
23:56Lamar. Um, so those guys are available. So I think honestly, those positions are so good.
24:01I'm going to look at these wide receivers. I don't love the wide outs either.
24:05I don't, I don't really like a lot of players that I'm seeing.
24:10Do you go Roma doing say to set up Caleb?
24:13I've Rome's gone. I'm going to, honestly, I'm going to go with, uh, Lamar Jackson, right?
24:18Lamar was his ADP is 59. We're at pick 71 right now.
24:21He slips back. We, we still need a tight end so we can at least go with, you know, Mark Andrews.
24:28And then worse comes to worse. You look at the wide receivers.
24:32We can still take a Jackson dart possibly later on, uh, as our second quarterback to, to stack, you know, the tough
24:39thing with Lamar's there's not a lot of wide receivers, Jeremiah to, to, to stack with him.
24:44We can get Andrews, but sometimes it's not always about the stack either.
24:48Right? Like if an elite player like Lamar is falling this far, I mean, I have Lamar ahead of Joe and Drake
24:55may, so it's hard not to take him. I'm back up here.
24:59Again, I don't really love the board. You have Marv, you have Cortland Sutton.
25:03These are not a lot of players that I'm very interested in.
25:07So I think it's probably good, a good time to maybe look back at the running backs.
25:12Um, and I'm going to go with Rico Dowdle it's high, uh, but I'm taking him.
25:17I have Rico projected inside my top 60, uh, you know, picks this year.
25:21I know it sounds like a reach potentially, but I don't love Chubba.
25:26I prefer Rico over him. I prefer Rico over Ramondre, Kenneth Gainwell, Kyle Manungai, Chubba Hubbard, RJ Harvey, all those guys that prefer Rico.
25:33And I don't really like the wide receivers on the board.
25:37I have Marvin Harrison Jr. Like around pick 100 in my rankings.
25:40So I wasn't going to go that route either.
25:43Um, so I'm happy with, uh, with taking Rico there.
25:46Cause I just didn't really love the board. Well, I think we can put a pin in the Marvin Harrison Jr.
25:53Conversation. Look at that. This is how sharp these rooms are.
25:56The next player that we're talking about, they go within a couple of picks.
26:01I love your pick on Rico Dowdle. The only other player who I would be interchangeable there would be somebody like a JK Dobbins.
26:08And, uh, but Dowdle he's proved in a span of two weeks can get near 500 rushing yards or total yards.
26:15So it's kind of like the money ball meme where, Hey, his glitch is for some reason, he can only do it one or two times a year.
26:23But I think that's been an opportunity thing for Rico Dowdle.
26:27And he goes back with Mike McCarthy. He's in Pittsburgh where they didn't get what they wanted out of Caleb Johnson.
26:33And there's a plenty of vacated targets where Jalen Warren's going to get fed, but I like the idea.
26:39I've got kind of a hot take that at 28, he'll have a late breakout Rico Dowdle for his career where he's
26:46approaching 1300 rushing yards and double digit touchdowns. Because if he gets more runway, for some reason, they just turned the faucet
26:53off with him last year with Carolina. I think there was something with the coaches there.
26:58So we see Jaden Daniels go, but tell us Marvin Harrison, Jr.
27:02Pete, Michael Wilson, what's your take on them right now as it's playing out in camp?
27:07Yes. I'm going to take, I'm going to answer that question, but we're going to take one quick break and we'll come right back.
27:14The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform. Third round reversal, Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation.
27:19So it's a lottery based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
27:25It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
27:31And now that combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
27:35In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
27:40And if you win that 300 grand, you can also join the circle world championship and that's 200 grand.
27:46You win both, you win a million dollars. So go to play NFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes.
27:54You can use first time, 100 to get a hundred bucks when you sign up, but also every time you sign up
28:01for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
28:07Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
28:11I like gum. I chew it all the time every day.
28:14And lately I've been trying this Underbrush from Nathan and Sons.
28:18It's remineralizing chewing gum, basically an oral care routine in gum form.
28:22You brush in the morning and at night, but after lunch, there's a big gap where most of us do nothing for our teeth.
28:29Underbrush is made for that moment. Chew it for five to 10 minutes, spit it out, move on, or keep chewing if you like the feel of it.
28:38Any mineral your enamel is made from as well as natural saps like mastic and spruce.
28:43So it has that firmer, really satisfying chew. To say it's all natural would be an understatement because they make it themselves
28:50from scratch in Northern California where the biggest, best trees are.
28:53I'm so glad I found this company when it's only a few years old and the team is literally making, packing, and shipping gum every day.
29:01So if you want a simple daily upgrade for your teeth that tastes great, check out underbrush order now at Nathan and
29:08sons.com that is Nathan and sons.com try it now.
29:11All right. Well, we are back. Um, and yeah, like we said, if you do want to draft in one of these,
29:18you can use promo code first time 100 and you get a hundred dollars off an entry of $150, which is how
29:25much this $150 best ball championship costs. So for new timers, this is only a $50 draft and up top, it's a
29:32$30,000 first place prize, as well as tons of other prizes for you.
29:36If you went inside your league structure wise, if you think about it like this, we are drafting in a 12 team league, right?
29:43The first three or the highest scores cumulative over the course of the season, they all three get prizes inside their division.
29:50And then everybody continues to move on to the higher prizes.
29:54So you'll also be able to win even more money at those top prizes and get a chance to win $30,000.
30:00I don't know. I'm liking our team so far.
30:03I know you asked me that Marvin Harrison, Michael Wilson.
30:06Uh, these are guys that are getting a lot of, uh, attention, I guess is the best way to put it right now on them.
30:14Currently, Michael Wilson goes off the board. Marvin Harrison was around ahead of him.
30:18I prefer Michael Wilson over Marvin Harrison jr. It's not necessarily because of the drops we see at camp, but overall, I
30:25think he is going to be a player that is used more in the red zone over Marv.
30:31And I think he's going to be a bigger time player down the field.
30:35Marv might get those easier touches, right? He might get, you know, more of those flanker role and, and Wilson could play
30:42more of the traditional X outside of, you know, more of might get the X in 13 personnel in one wide receiver sets.
30:49But I personally do prefer Wilson, but I really don't really like either of them.
30:54I'm not drafting them very, very much at all.
30:57Caleb Williams, by the way, goes here. He's behind all of these quarterbacks.
31:01This leaves us with a decision to make, uh, Jackson dart right here.
31:05Uh, I'm going to have to pull the trigger on him and take him to get a stack here.
31:11Uh, because I do have Malik neighbors and we did talk about cheap stacks.
31:15I do have Lamar and I don't want to get stuck in a bad spot because unfortunately Brock Purdy does go a
31:22couple of picks in front of us and Dak Prescott goes early.
31:26It will late in round seven. So about 11 picks ahead of us as well.
31:31Um, so we're sitting here, Jeremiah on the board again, and the running back position starting to thin out a little bit.
31:37Rashad white got picked pretty high. Uh, again, this is a best ball tournament style here.
31:42Jake Ferguson's on the board. We talked about maybe going after a guy like him, George Kittle, Travis Kelsey.
31:48There are some tight ends that are interesting. Um, I'm going to go with Cortland Sutton, uh, in this spot though.
31:55I know we're talking wide receivers. He doesn't really fit into my build, fit into my stack, but Sutton at, you know,
32:02pick 98, his ADP is, is closer to 70.
32:05Jeremiah, what do you think about that? I mean, it's again, it's unstacked, but I'm happy with it.
32:10Well, it's funny as you were clicking that I was going to say the players in this range that I like would be somebody like a Chris Godwin.
32:19It would be a Jordan Addison. And of course, like a Michael Pittman.
32:23So Cortland Sutton presents great value on the board for you.
32:27You're here in round nine. I love the cumulative play where you get dark snack with neighbors.
32:32You've got all the pressure in the world off of you at the quarterback position.
32:37You probably want across 30 rounds, maybe one more quarterback, but really you've got belief in a naked Lamar at the moment
32:43because there's no Mark Andrews on the backend yet.
32:46And it's just very interesting how Brock Purdy went ahead of Caleb Williams and even went ahead of Jackson Dart.
32:52I would have expected Dart to go ahead, but I think that speaks to some of the Konami code upside, but then
32:59let's talk scoring setting because Brock Purdy, this is a six point touchdown setting.
33:04And then every 20 yards, Pete, there's a point.
33:07So there is a pendulum swing back to the pocket passing players.
33:10So does it surprise you so much in that sense that Brock Purdy actually went ahead of Caleb and Jackson Dart?
33:17Not at all. Caleb's going to provide more as a rusher for both, you know, and so will Dart over Purdy, but we're looking at Purdy.
33:25He's going to throw for the most yards out of all these guys.
33:29Good chance he throws for the most touchdowns out of them as well.
33:33Um, so it's not that surprising in my opinion.
33:36Um, I actually, it makes me kind of feel a little better.
33:40I have Caleb Williams in my overall rankings, uh, about where he is right here.
33:44Quarterback 10, I mean, uh, quarterback 12, 13. Um, I'm not as high on the market.
33:49Uh, you know, I'm not as high as him as on him has the market is, uh, one guy that is interesting
33:56that I'm hoping comes back to me. Uh, I'm not going to say yet.
34:01I'll wait till it gets a little closer. Um, just because I don't want to run into a situation where, uh, maybe
34:08someone's watching and, uh, maybe they take my, uh, yeah.
34:11Yeah. While, while we're waiting on that, why don't we look at, you know, your father, Mr.
34:16Terranova, let's break down his team. His approach at the turn is coming up.
34:20Goes one-on-one with Jameer Gibbs, gets Nico Collins in round two, Reese Hall round three, Lab McConkie, Laporta, Travis Etienne, Dak Prescott, and Wondell Robinson.
34:28So I don't see any stack partners there if my eyes don't deceive me with Dak Prescott.
34:33What do you think is inside the head of your father, Mr.
34:37Terranova, who's got Zach Charbonnet and Coker at the 9-10 turn?
34:41Would you take Charbonnet in round nine, Pete? What do you make of his team?
34:45Well, he took Coker and it's frustrating because I know he knows Coker was going to be the guy I was going to mention.
34:53So, uh, it's, it's, it's ironic that it happened.
34:56So if you're worried about, you know, any funny business, he just, he just took the guy I was, I was thinking about there.
35:03Um, so that's frustrating because I, we had a whole conversation a week ago about how much I love Jalen Coker.
35:10So, uh, that's frustrating. I don't really love his build in general, just because from a standpoint of, of stacking, right.
35:16He doesn't really have, I mean, he has an opportunity to come back around on Nico, uh, with, with CJ Stroud.
35:23He does have the ability to come back with Cam Ward, Bryce Young.
35:27It's just some low ceiling quarterbacks. Um, so that's, that's not like, I don't love the approach in that regard.
35:33Keith Mitchell, by the way, here had a nice little highlight play in camp where he caught a nice pass.
35:39He goes off the board here, uh, you know, in the 10th round Jordan ahead of Jordan Addison, who you great value on the Addison pick though.
35:48Yeah. Who you happen to like. Yep. Yeah. I, I see Jordan Addison in year four, getting his first thousand yard season.
35:55He has a high of nine 11. Okay. And think about you get better quarterback play.
36:00So he's one of those players who I'm very excited about.
36:03And we see the string of the Jane reads people, Samuel, uh, no team that I know of.
36:09And he goes in round 10. Do you agree or disagree with that?
36:13Maybe a team letter Rulo know something we don't.
36:16Yeah. Uh, I think a lot of people are thinking, uh, that there is a chance Debo, uh, ends up going to the 49ers, right?
36:24I mean, with the injuries that they have. So, uh, not, not overall surprising, by the way, Isaiah likely I was hoping would come back to me.
36:32So now we're in a spot right where I happen to like some of these tight ends.
36:37I'm going to go ahead and draft Travis Kelsey.
36:40I actually happen to have Kelsey higher than other people do.
36:44Um, so I'm going to take Kelsey here. He again, doesn't fit inside my build, but this is just an example of
36:50you, you can't force the stacks, right? Um, right now Lamar, I can still come back and grab a guy like maybe
36:57Mark Andrews, but if he goes off the board here and this guy snipes me, I'm not overly upset about it.
37:04Um, I would love for Mark Andrews to come back to me, but I'm not going to, I'm not going to be too upset.
37:11There are some steeper plays, um, that I can still go with.
37:15I'm thinking quarterback wise, Jeremiah, um, you still have somebody else.
37:19Um, and I, I feel like it would be frowned upon to do it with Patrick Mahomes here.
37:24Cause I do have two quarterbacks already and it's kind of like, is it glutton a little bit to, uh, take a guy like Patrick Mahomes?
37:32I don't know. What, what are your thoughts? Uh, I mean, three quarterbacks in, you know, the first few rounds here, running backs getting a little thin.
37:41I don't know that I can make a luxury pick like that, but I I'd be lying if I said it wasn't, it hasn't crossed my mind here.
37:50Well, you have the belief in faith in Lamar and Jackson dart.
37:53So at this point it is a bet against dart and Lamar.
37:57So if we're just going to go off that principle where you're trying to get some more value here, I think you
38:04fade away from the layup stack here, but that is for future drafts.
38:08This patch, I've seen it consistent in other platforms as well.
38:11Kelsey and Mahomes aren't too far apart. Same thing with somebody like Xavier worthy.
38:16So which direction will you go positional wise? Yes.
38:19Oh yes. I love that pick. Okay. So when you were talking about Pete and it ended up being Jalen Coker, you
38:26said, Hey, I got somebody in my mind who I'm thinking about.
38:29I was kind of thinking of Casey conception. I've seen conception go around higher, scouring other Twitter boards out there.
38:36So I think there's a hive out there now talking about third quarterback looking, everybody can be listening, but Hey, what are you stealing?
38:43Right? Shador Sanders, Deshaun Watson, you pick your poison of the two Browns running backs.
38:48Which one do you think is going to win?
38:51Which one is going to play out more? What's going to happen?
38:54I assume you mean quarterbacks, not running backs. No, I think it's going to be Watson.
38:59I think they'll give him a chance. They're still committed to him heavily.
39:03They have to see it out. I think at this point and just, and just go with it.
39:09Um, I did consider running backs, but here's my philosophy in this kind of build.
39:14I'm going to take so many garbage running backs in a few rounds, wide receivers.
39:18I look at it in a scenario where there's going to be so many picks.
39:23I just want to stock up on all these, you know, RB threes on teams that are going to get chances where guys get hurt and stuff.
39:32I'm not really super excited to go draft like, you know, wide receiver four on a depth chart or wide receiver three on a depth chart.
39:40They get injured less typically. And also the opportunity is not as high.
39:44It's usually that, you know, the drop off from wide receiver one to wide receiver two in order to be, you know,
39:51a difference maker in fantasy as a wide receiver, you have to be either a wide receiver one.
39:56And if you're not wide receiver one and you're a wide receiver two, typically it's like wide receiver two on a top 10 offense.
40:04Like those are the kinds of guys you're targeting.
40:07But once you're getting past that, you're still looking at these deep wide receivers.
40:11It's like the upside is just not there for me.
40:14Right? So here in this situation, you know, I'm going to, I'm going to take Casey.
40:19I'm going to let the board fall with the running backs.
40:23Maybe somebody comes back to me that I'm interested in.
40:26Maybe I start kind of getting a bunch of handcuffs, which I'm fine with too.
40:30Again, I have an anchor in James cook. I like the top three guys that I have.
40:36I'm not overly concerned. I do want to make one note, Jeremiah, the John stripling, uh, in round 10, right behind Coker,
40:43those two guys, very, very interesting, uh, to see that because with the news of Ricky Pierce, all, you know, it's, it's
40:49like the John stripling has to be the guy you would think as the wide receiver too.
40:55Yeah. And with Ricky Pierce, all we're getting more damning news on him.
40:59And then you even have to consider the fact that Mike Evans, he's, I know he's on your team right now, but
41:06he will sometimes be prone to some injury and that could really open things up.
41:10You talk about first pick, we were there draft night at the player profiler house stripling going off.
41:16And we were just like beside ourselves, but that's the investment level and teams draft with plans in place.
41:22And as you're talking about all this, Pete, I love how you mentioned the diversion between the delineation of receivers and running
41:29backs to where we're a third way through the draft 30 rounds.
41:33This is almost like playing in a, oh, there goes Ricky Pierce.
41:36Oh my God, pour some out. Uh, this is almost like a dynasty startup to where it's depth and it gets down to those running backs.
41:44But I think two things are going to play out here.
41:48As you get buried lesser, you're going to be more inclined towards those depth chart running backs who can ladder up and move up.
41:55And then also playing a little bit of a, you're looking ahead to a waiver wire, some backup players, some high upside
42:02players who can fill in and move up the depth chart because you're not going to have the benefit of a player goes down.
42:10So let's say somebody else has Ashton Janty. You may want somebody like a Mike Washington.
42:15So what do you make of kind of playing a waiver wire preemptively because this is the one shot you have and
42:22you're trying to project out over 17 weeks? Yeah.
42:24I like the thought it does suck that in this format, you know, of course no waiver wire, but it also makes it nice, right?
42:32You can draft a lot of these and not have to worry about, you know, you don't have to worry necessarily about having to manage the team, right?
42:41That's part of the appeal. Um, I want to hold that thought for a second, because I am coming up here and
42:48I want to just talk through the pick, um, that I have coming up quarterback wise.
42:53You know, we we've, we've taken some guys. We have Lamar of course.
42:57Uh, you know, we have, uh, Jackson dart Isaiah likely obviously goes off the board here.
43:02Um, I don't want to tip my pick yet.
43:05Cause there's one pick ahead of me here, but, um, once this pick goes off the board, I actually am very happy
43:12because Mark Andrews did come back to me, Jeremiah.
43:15Um, and now I get the stack with Lamar.
43:17I didn't force it. I took Casey conception. I stuck to my plan.
43:21I didn't overdraft Andrews. I considered him where Kelsey was, but I have Kelsey rent tires.
43:26So I went with it. So now I get the stack.
43:30It ends up working out for me. Um, do you, what are your thoughts on Andrews as I get ready for this next pick?
43:37Um, do you, do you, do you happen to like Andrews this year?
43:41I love him exactly where you got him in round 12 and it doesn't seem like there would have been much competition,
43:48but God knows within this next turn, had you not taken him, he'd go within the next five picks.
43:54So there's not necessarily mercy in this field of play, but let's talk about what you did.
44:00You've got Jackson dart and Malik neighbors stacked up together.
44:03You took the following value in Lamar Jackson. Weren't worried.
44:06You know, if you love something, you let it go.
44:09Well, you let Mark Andrews go and he came back to you here in round 12.
44:14So you've got two excellent stacking partners. And I liked the idea of your layer tight end room where you have Travis Kelsey.
44:21I see a dead cat balance season for him last year with targets, receptions, yards per reception.
44:26They were all in line in near Tyler Warren.
44:29So what's the difference between Tyler Warren and Travis Kelsey?
44:32Well, a lot of age, but in dynasty streets or in even these streets, like the tight end four to double digit tight ends level for Travis Kelsey.
44:41So I love what you did. It's one season.
44:44So we talked about the differences between dynasty and best ball, Pete.
44:48You just have to play through 2026 and you have just a rich room for what you've got.
44:53You were able to scaffold the rest of your team with the expensive picks.
44:58And now you're getting between Kelsey and Andrews. I think they'll trade weeks for you to where you're hitting your mark versus
45:05the people who paid up for a level in the craft of Warren you're playing against all those other people.
45:11So I think it's astute and sound going bulk a little bit with the guys like the Kelsey's and the Mandrews.
45:17If you're going to go that path. Yeah, I'm, I'm kind of with you.
45:22Uh, let me see. Hold on one second. I am.
45:25Um, uh, and we see while you're sorting that out, Juwan Johnson, George Kittle, Chica Conquo, Arande Gatson, just a run of
45:32tight ends after Pete went Mark Andrews and then Brenton strange.
45:35I will mention Brenton strange, all the Parker Washington hype.
45:38If we're just directionally off just a little bit in the last six games, Brenton strange had 10 red zone targets, middle
45:45of the field open is going to be very valuable for the Jaguars.
45:49And I don't think enough people are talking about Brenton strange.
45:53So that's just one of those things where directionally we see Parker Washington tearing things up, but I would just venture to
46:00guess if you miss out on Parker Washington, Brenton strange is somebody else for people to go on and draft.
46:06Yeah. Yeah. Strange goes there. Um, I was just taking a look at, at the board and I'm just trying to stick
46:13to the process here and trying to figure out what my next moves are.
46:17You did touch on the fact that I took Stefan digs.
46:21Uh, there is a massive drop off at wide receiver coming up here.
46:25Um, so I'm trying to stack up on as many wide receivers as I can.
46:29There are a couple of running backs that are kind of coming up that I have intriguing.
46:35And again, I only have three. Um, but I talked about my process and what my plan was.
46:40And a lot of it's just going to be taking a bunch of cheap running backs, a ton, you know, going towards,
46:47you know, the next, you know, couple of rounds, the late picks, it's just going to be a lot of running backs.
46:54Um, you know, there's also, um, the possibility of going other positions as well, um, that I have on my mind, uh,
47:01that I will touch on once we get to my pick here.
47:05Uh, Jonah Coleman goes off the board, Hunter Henry.
47:08Do you want to read off my team? Especially if in case somebody is listening on the audio side.
47:13Um, so let's go over the team really quick.
47:16Yep. I took James Cook in the first round, CD lamb, second round, Malik neighbors, third round, Mike Evans in the fourth,
47:23Trevor Henderson in the fifth Lamar in the sixth.
47:26That was a nice fall with Lamar. He fell about 20 picks past his ADP, Jeremiah, um, Rico daddle in round seven, Jackson dart round eight.
47:34Um, so, you know, I took dark there, um, in, in just strictly off for the stack with neighbors.
47:40Um, you know, I I'm sitting here, I took Lamar and I'm like, well, I already took Lamar.
47:46I have these good wide receivers. Dak Prescott went off in front of me.
47:50Purdy went off in front of me. Let me go ahead and take, uh, you know, let me go ahead and take dart and just get that solidified.
47:59I ended up with Corlin Sutton who falls past ADP as well.
48:03I take Travis Kelsey, who I think is being slept on this year.
48:07I think he's in for a solid season, Casey conception, Mark Andrews to get the stack with Lamar and then Stefan dig.
48:13So I really only have two stacks right now with Lamar and his tight end and Andrews and Jackson dart with Malik,
48:20uh, neighbors, but I'm not overly concerned. One more thing before you tell you start going is Romeo Dobbs fell to round 14.
48:28I think people are very scared off on Kayshawn booty right now, but Hey, um, that Romeo Dobbs fell.
48:34I mean, he just fell to pick like, one 64 and his ADP Jeremiah is like one Oh six.
48:39So, I mean, that's a very, very sharp ball for a guy that I have ranked.
48:44Sorry. His ADP is one 19. Uh, but I have him ranked, you know, I have him close to still a hundred targets this year.
48:52I have him about 85 to 90. Um, so a pretty steep drop for him.
48:57I would see what two wide receiver sets. Why would Romeo Dobbs leap the field?
49:02And then the Patriots intentionally acquired him in the off season, knowing the room that they had, knowing they had Kayshawn Boutte.
49:09So I think there's a little bit of overreaction theater that's in there that's baked in, but again, that's advantage.
49:15We'll see if that's just within this draft room, Pete, or that's a larger trend that we see in these best ball streets on NFFC.
49:23And we see touch. I spears go just ahead of you.
49:26Did you want him or are you happy with tank Bixby who you're basically playing the room, playing off the room, whoever
49:33has Saquon Barkley, you now have the tank Bixby who can play off of a Barkley gets hurt.
49:39You've got leverage within this room. Then tournament wise, long-term you have leverage there as well.
49:44Yeah. I, uh, Oh gosh, I was, I was just about to take Dallas kickers.
49:48Uh, so that just, uh, Oh wait, hold on.
49:51Wait, Dallas kickers didn't go. Okay. No, it did not.
49:54It was Jalen McMillan. I thought you were taking over McMillan.
49:58I, I, no, no, I did think about McMillan too.
50:01It was going to be McMillan or Dallas kickers.
50:04I look at it like this with the kickers.
50:06I know I'm getting a severe advantage with Dallas kickers.
50:10Um, you know, with Brandon Aubrey with defenses, they can be volatile.
50:13You guys know those who watch my content, you guys know that like, obviously I love the stream defenses.
50:19That's not a, we're not gonna be able to do that in this league, this format, uh, because there's no waivers, but
50:26still I I'd rather go with, you know, the, the, the strong kicker and then maybe take two or three defenses.
50:33And I'm hoping that maybe it forces a run, uh, at one of those two positions, uh, where maybe some guys slip
50:40and I get some value with tank Bigsby though.
50:42I will say I was considering it was going to be Tajay Spears, but when Bigsby fell to me, I said, you know what?
50:50Again, we talk about the process here. If Saquon misses time, Bigsby's a phenomenal handcuff, looks really, really good last year.
50:56Uh, so it's just going to really be about finding the higher value, the running backs in higher value rooms that we
51:03think, Hey, this guy can, we'll have a similar workload.
51:06If the starter goes down in good offenses, especially if we can find that as well, that's obviously the Trinity when it
51:13can, when it can kind of come together like that.
51:16Well, you had astutely pointed out, Pete, that digs is a little bit of a firewall territory for the wide receiver position.
51:23Starting to get a lot less yellow as the board runs down.
51:27So I like what you've done directionally with your team from this pocket in round 13, going Stefan digs down to tank
51:34Bigsby and then getting your kicker team at the Dallas Cowboys.
51:37It'll be interesting to see. We're starting to see a couple of different colors patched through position wise.
51:43And I think you really made the right play and going and getting Stefan digs.
51:48It's going to get a lot more ambiguous at the receiver position.
51:51So as you're coming back around, Oh man, on clay born around 15.
51:56I, I, I just cute. I just cute. I'm up.
51:59He was going to be my next pick. That's a bummer, but you win on one end, you lose on another.
52:05And I feel like you're winning with the digs pick and the big speak pick it's all or nothing though.
52:11I don't see much opportunity for tank big speed with the second one Barkley show.
52:16So we shall see in round 14. I think that's great value.
52:20And this is a little bit of that your anticipatory waiver wire when you're reading articles and it's Monday or Tuesday on
52:27your waiver wire and Saquon Barkley gets hurt after week four and everybody's just crapping their pants.
52:32Who has them? They're hitting the waiver wire for tank Bigsby.
52:36Well, you're preeminently preemptively making some of these picks as you did with tank Bigsby.
52:40So I like the play. And I like the fact that structurally, you know, to the audience who we have a sophisticated
52:47audience and we have people who are playing for the first time, you don't want to play your handcuffs within the same team.
52:54You want to play for leverage upside against other opponents.
52:57So if you're running back is James Cook, Pete, can you tell us why you're not inclined to take somebody like Ray Davis?
53:05Well, I, I am inclined to maybe take a guy like that, but there, there's a couple other players that stick out to me right now.
53:13You know, if you, if you start looking at the running back board, maybe James Connor or Trey Benson, one of those
53:20guys are probably getting cut or traded to another team.
53:23So those guys are also intriguing. I'm also kind of taking a look a little bit at the playoff schedules for defenses.
53:30I want to target defenses that play like teams like the Cardinals, teams like the Jets.
53:35Um, you know, those types of offenses, maybe the Browns, uh, Cardinals I'm assuming is a good chance.
53:40Jacoby Brissette's not gonna be playing. Unfortunately, the Cardinals play the Jets in the first week of the playoffs.
53:46So, uh, I, maybe the Jets are a sneaky pick to take later on.
53:51Um, I'm trying to take a look and just see the saints.
53:54Okay. So the saints get the Cardinals and the Falcons, uh, for the last two weeks.
53:59And they are also ranked decently high on my, uh, on my list, but I am going to take Ray Davis.
54:06So I said all that just because I'm going to take Ray Davis.
54:10I don't know who's watching. I'm going to get my handcuff with James cook.
54:14So I am protecting, I'm playing a little bit of the weave game here where when you ask me, sometimes I'm weaving,
54:21sometimes I'm weaving in and sometimes I'm weaving out.
54:24Cause I don't know who could possibly be watching as Robert, you know, did mention here as well.
54:30You have to assume people are watching Trey Tucker goes off the board.
54:34Marshawn Lloyd goes off the board. Um, so yeah, I mean, this is a, this is a brutal, brutal group of players left, but you know what?
54:42I'm going to take Jerry Judy, man. Uh, Jerry Judy is, I know I took Casey conception and I know a lot
54:49of people are not very high on Jerry Judy, but I got news for you.
54:54I think he's going to surprise a lot of people.
54:57I haven't ranked as my 128th player. Uh, he's there at pick like one 70, one 75.
55:02Um, I actually really, really liked that spot for him.
55:05So I'll take a guy like Jerry Judy all day.
55:09Um, when this wide receiver room is really thinning out, I did consider Ryan Florinoy and Tesla.
55:14I do think Travis Hunter is a pretty decent pick in a setting like this.
55:19Um, you know, in best ball, you never know.
55:21Um, and he's still on the board as well.
55:24Well, it's interesting, Pete, when Jalen Naylor went off, I was sitting there thinking like, okay, Trey Tucker is going to go
55:31short enough, the pick directly after you Trey Tucker goes, I would say philosophically, I'm of the mind where I would have preferred you get Lloyd.
55:39And then the other person get Ray Davis, because I'm playing off the fact that unless they have a different skillset, like,
55:46uh, JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey, I want teammates who aren't bottlenecking each other.
55:50And to me cook bottlenecks Davis and you're losing some leverage to the field.
55:55Granted 30 rounds. We just saw Ray Davis go in what round 16.
55:59So it's not like you're losing so much, but those are like finer points where I'm trying to increase.
56:05So shots, like where you have tank Bixby, he's leveraged against Saquon Barkley.
56:09I would have liked to have seen you have Marshawn Lloyd leverage against Josh Jacobs.
56:14So that that's one nuance for me versus if this were dynasty Pete, I'd be all the way with you on Davis and cook.
56:21Yeah, I think that's fair. Um, before we continue, make sure you guys hit that like button.
56:26Make sure you subscribe. If you're enjoying the show, let us know on the YouTube side.
56:31Really appreciate you guys sticking with us. We're getting close to the hour, Mark here.
56:36Uh, before we continue, we're going to take a quick break and then we'll be right back.
56:41The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform. Why third round reversal, Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation.
56:47So it's a lottery based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft it's full PPR.
56:53There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
56:58And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
57:03In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC prime time.
57:08And if you win that 300 grand, you can also join the circle world championship and that's 200 grand.
57:14You win both. You win a million dollars. So go to play NFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes.
57:22You can use first time, 100 to get a hundred bucks when you sign up, but also every time you sign up
57:29for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
57:35Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
57:39Man. Love hearing that. Another additional promo code that's out there for the listeners profiler one 50 getting $150 off the circle world championship.
57:46So it's not just that initial a hundred off to give you 50 for an entry.
57:51There's a couple other profiler codes that we have.
57:54So NFFC player profiler, we're working in hot best ball summer.
57:57You love to see it. How's the board going right now, Pete, off the break.
58:02Not too bad. I really, really like the Ryan Florinoy pick here.
58:06You know, a guy pick 200. I have Florinoy projected for a pretty strong target share this season.
58:11I'm getting ready to pull it up really quick, but that's one.
58:15And then Kalon black is interesting because we know the health of Christian McCaffrey over the years.
58:21And we also know that Jordan James with the injury already in camp is going to miss a couple of weeks, which
58:27gives black a free runway here to really establish himself as that running back.
58:32Number three for Ryan Florinoy though, I have them with an 11% target share.
58:36I got them catching 70 or having 70 targets and four touchdowns.
58:40So that's a nice upside pick. You're going to be hard pressed to find guys that are going to be able to score four touchdowns.
58:48And I obviously, these are projections. It's not guaranteed, but I really, really do like the pick there for team number seven.
58:55I think that's a phenomenal value right here at this point in the draft.
58:59And the famous adage, you don't want to take zeros.
59:02You just want to get requisite points. We're on the back half of the draft here.
59:07So the back half, the back 50%, you're able to get somebody who can print points, be that wide receiver three in that Cowboys offense.
59:15And then if there's ever a cuff, because we don't really think of handcuffs at the wide receiver or even the tight
59:22end position, it's really a lot of, Hey, who's the backup quarterback in super flex leagues.
59:27And then who's the backup running back available to be a flex or just a direct backup who matriculates up Florinoy serves
59:34both purpose of, he can be a player who prints some points.
59:37It doesn't have to be anything crazy. It could just be 10 points on a given week, not a zero again.
59:44And then Pickens is out, Lamb is out, and he's going to feast.
59:48We love how Dak Prescott looks. He looks great in camp.
59:52We're seeing some highlights. Granted, the full run of the defense isn't there yet, but as you pointed out, great pick on Florinoy.
59:59And same thing with somebody like an Isaac Tesla, who went a couple of picks later or prior.
60:04Tesla's another pick there where he's layered in that team, but going back to what you had, Pete, you've got conception or
60:11conception, as you would say, you got Jerry Judy, Shador Sanders.
60:15When is there any inkling towards a quarterback position and Deshaun Watson or any quarterbacks that are here?
60:20Because a lot of people now have three running backs to currently the two running backs who are on your, or sorry, quarterbacks on your team.
60:28Do you go three quarterback anytime soon? Yeah, I'm considering it.
60:32I certainly am. Travis Hunter just went off the board.
60:35So that was, that was something I had my eye on Kamani Vidal as well.
60:40Defenses are going off the board as well. I will say, you know, I don't need to press for a defense just yet.
60:47There's some defenses that I happen to like that are, that are still out there.
60:52Um, I do believe. Yeah. So one of those defenses out there, so I'm okay.
60:56Not pushing the envelope there. Allen goes off the board.
60:59I'm looking at some stacks. I'm looking at some players that are still available, um, for my current stacks, but I'm not going to get greedy.
61:08Uh, I'm just going to go ahead and secure it.
61:11I'll take Deshaun Watson or maybe Mendoza. You know, I think Mendoza is going to play this year.
61:16So it guarantees me at least the back half of the season that I'll have Mendoza.
61:21But the problem is I'm getting a Mendoza with, with, with no stack.
61:25So it's really just a, Hey, in case Lamar and Jackson daughter, both out, I get a quarterback.
61:31Um, so I'm going to just go ahead and take Watson.
61:34Uh, I won't get, I won't overcomplicate it there.
61:37Um, looking at the running back position, I did talk about James Connor.
61:41I talked about Jalen, right? It's really a gut check of, do you think James Connor or Trey Benson are going to be on the roster?
61:49Who is going to get cut? One of these guys are probably not making this team and could really, really see their value shoot up.
61:57Um, I'm thinking it's James Connor that gets cut because of his, his price tag and the money that the team can save.
62:04So Connor becomes an interesting player to target here.
62:07Vikings just go off the board. Um, so my defense is still there that I was targeting.
62:13Uh, so I'll just go ahead and take James Connor.
62:16Um, you know, at, at this late in the, in the, in the game, Jeremiah, I mean, I love me some James
62:23Connor just in general, brutal injury last year. The setup obviously isn't great this year with where he is on the depth
62:29chart, but he could get traded to a team like the Packers or go to a running back needed team.
62:36Maybe even a team like the 49ers to back up Christian McGaffrey is the RB two there could absolutely see it happening.
62:43So, uh, James Connor will be the pick for me.
62:46I'm not so sure they would do it within their division, but I love the Packers idea.
62:51I like the idea of the new Orleans saints granted Camara's there, so it could be a little bit too much traffic,
62:58but in the event that we're not impressed with Isaiah Pacheco, I personally am not, I would love to see James Connor
63:05just clean up touchdown wise in that Jamal Williams or sorry, David Montgomery role that light role.
63:10Cause granted the skillset at this point in their careers night and day, but James Connor has plenty more left in the tank.
63:17So I love the pick that you made with James Connor.
63:21He's been a late best ball dart play that I've had just for the fact that he's so affordable there.
63:27You're going there in round 19 and to your strategy, you're true to it, Pete.
63:32And I want to ask how you're feeling. Do you feel like all the pressure is off and you're just plucking receiver
63:39running back and mixing in the depth of your team, be it team defense or kicker?
63:44How do you, how are you feeling in this back third of your draft?
63:48Yeah, I feel pretty good. You know, right now we have six running backs, seven wide receivers, three quarterbacks, one team kicker and two tight ends.
63:56There are still some interesting tight ends on the board.
63:59I have to say, you know, Terrence Ferguson high upside shot there.
64:03Kobe Parkinson, I think had eight touchdowns last year.
64:06So don't mind going for a guy like that.
64:09I do think Evan Ingram is going to be involved.
64:12Davis Webb was his quarter was, is it like one of his best friends?
64:16You know, a little nugget last year, Evan Ingram actually played in the final preseason game.
64:21Cause Davis Webb was allowed to call plays where all of the starters actually were benched and weren't playing.
64:27And Evan Ingram actually played. And he had that one big play on the drag route where he went like 60 yards
64:34and everyone was like, Oh my gosh, everything was going to be so good this year.
64:39Like I'm so pumped that he's on Denver to play with Peyton.
64:43It's like, it made so much sense. And obviously he stunk, but they haven't cut him.
64:48He's on the roster. He is the starting tight end and Davis Webb is calling plays.
64:53And again, they did play in New York together.
64:56So now Davis Webb didn't play much, but they are very good friends.
65:00So Ingram is kind of interesting as a target late stowers is obviously still available.
65:04You know, Terrence Ferguson does go off the board as well.
65:08So as you mentioned, Terrence Ferguson player that kind of came to mind forefront granted, it's like a round and a half
65:15and God knows somebody is listening, but Jake Tong just, are you interested in him?
65:19Does that appeal to you at least for the early season play?
65:23Or do you think Pete, Hey, George Kittle at some point is going to be fine.
65:28He'll have the job to his own and it'll be irrelevant to have somebody like Jake Tong just for the stretch.
65:35Man. Tong just is, is an interesting play because Kittle they're down some weapons.
65:39I kept going back and forth when I did my projections this year.
65:43And I, I wanted to give Tom just more touches, but I just didn't.
65:47I think when we're looking at a format like this, when we're, we're, we're pushing for some upside.
65:53Friar mute is a guy who's on the board still that I'd prefer in case there's a chance he finally gets his,
66:00which he, I mean, he's so misused there. Stowers could also push into a starting role if Goddard gets hurt this year.
66:07So I prefer some other upside plays. I do like Tonjes.
66:10He had five touchdowns last year. So there is some appeal there with Kittle with the injury.
66:16Um, I would consider it more if I had Purdy on a stack, but I think I'm probably going to try to veer in a different direction.
66:24Um, I do have to say there is a very interesting running back still on the board, um, that, uh, I am
66:31close to maybe taking, um, very soon. Uh, and when it comes, I will, uh, I will definitely call it out.
66:37Um, Brandon, I, you know, still on the board.
66:40Is that somebody you would take? I would not, and not even if there was a fire, I would not take Brandon.
66:47I, you, it's just a very tough scene. I know you mentioned earlier that you like Isaiah likely any idea or inclination towards somebody like a Theo Johnson.
66:56Does he enter the late tight end conversation? Johnson would be interesting.
67:00Yeah. That's a good call out. I mean, obviously I have Jackson darts, so that could be a nice little pairing.
67:06Um, he had five touchdowns again, you know, as well last year.
67:10So that wouldn't be, that wouldn't be, that's not a bad call out there considering they have some issues with, uh, you
67:17know, with, with their, just their receiving room in general, there's not a ton of options there.
67:22Then it's funny as you're talking about the running back position, is this a rookie?
67:27Is it a veteran or is that even too much to give away at those?
67:32No, it's not too much to give away. Um, it was a rookie from last year.
67:37Uh, and, uh, the guy he, I think he's second on the depth chart.
67:41Uh, the guy that other people think is second on the depth chart went already.
67:46So he's slotted in as the third guy, but I truly think with an injury, he's going to be the guy that slots in.
67:53So we'll get there. We're getting close. I think I can probably take my next two picks and then on the turn
68:00coming back, I'll, I'll probably take a chance on him.
68:03Um, looking at the, the landscape here though, um, at wide receiver, I could also maybe take a chance on a Darnell
68:10Mooney who I'm not in love with, but you know, Mooney would be a guy that I could stack and, um, you
68:17know, when healthy he's, he's, he's been solid. It's just a matter of he can't stay on the field.
68:23Well, I like what you're saying. And when we get to the board, I do have hopefully some running backs I can suggest for you to think about.
68:32Um, but Mooney just reeks of somebody who can get six to 900 receiving yards in the season, but you won't be able to predict it.
68:40Uh, the read, if you follow crack rock on X, he talks about the giants got like 10 different wide receiver twos,
68:47just to supplant the fact that they had to wait for Malik neighbors, but hold on, you're on the clock here.
68:53Uh, is there any inclination has Ollie Gordon gone?
68:56I don't see his name on there. So Ollie Gordon has been the guy that I've been talking about the whole time.
69:03So I'm going to just take him because ADP doesn't matter anymore.
69:07Even if it's a reach, his ADP is like 300.
69:10I took him here at two 39, but off the possibility that anybody is listening, I will take him, but I'm not
69:17upset that you mentioned it because there's no reaches at this point in the draft, Jeremiah.
69:22I mean, let's be honest. There, there really is no reaches.
69:25Um, some, some other players on the board at wide receiver.
69:29I feel like wide receivers more starting to become more appealing at this point.
69:33Um, so yeah, I, I, I mean, let's just take a look at wide receiver for a second.
69:39I'm going to share, uh, I'm up. Hold on.
69:41And while, while you're speaking of those wide receivers, another name that I would just like to invite for you since you're
69:48on the clock, but you can make the decision.
69:51Yeah. Go ahead. Isaiah Davis for the jets and the RB two behind Brees hall getting some reports that it's Braylon Allen third on the depth chart.
70:00I'm not saying, I'm just saying. I thought I I've thought about it.
70:04I have, I think the wide receiver room is going to thin out a little bit here.
70:09So I'm just going to take Mooney just for the stack.
70:12And then if Davis comes back to me, I'm happy to, to, to look at him.
70:17Chimere DK still on the board too. I know, I know there's a lot of mouths feed.
70:23It's a bad offense. You know, you have a lot of target consumption between eight and, uh, Wandale, but I don't think
70:30Chimere DK is just going to go away and he should be a guy that can be a red zone target for them.
70:37And I love that pick for you. And then also not like you're married to it, but we had discussed Theo Johnson.
70:44I think he's still out there available. So you have this like filthy front door and back door stackage for the New York giants with Jackson dart.
70:52So I liked the play that you had, and I want to commend you as well, uh, with the Ollie Gordon play.
70:59He's just a player. It's not near exciting. The dopamine hit because he didn't really hit like we wanted last year.
71:06We were thinking, Oh, we can get some of that Raheem most air roll and wheels up.
71:11And I remember late August, Ollie Gordon was all the rage.
71:14You could not pry off in dynasty in trade markets.
71:17People had already had a draft. It was on the block and you couldn't pay up high enough what people were trying to offer.
71:25So we get that, uh, lust for some of these players as the summer heats up, but Ollie Gordon, I love that play.
71:32If we get any notification about Devon Achan in the preseason, you're looking at round 20 Pete, you would have the starting
71:39back because I believe in correct me if I'm wrong.
71:42I believe it's Ollie Gordon over Jalen Wright. Do you believe it's Ollie Gordon over Jalen Wright?
71:47Oh, and you're on mute. I do. Um, I do believe it's Ollie Gordon over Jalen Wright.
71:53I am surprised that right goes ahead of him.
71:56And I'm also surprised. I mean, we've talked about Devon Achan this season and, you know, Devon Achan is a player who
72:02size wise coming off somewhat of a shoulder, shoulder injury surgery.
72:06Fine. He's not a big player though. He's not a big physical back.
72:10So you also think about that. Plus, you know, do they want to run him into the ground, right?
72:16If this, if this team is very, very bad this year, do they want to pound him?
72:21You know, he's going to get a lot of work in the receiving game.
72:26And do they give him some time, uh, you know, off from being early down back every, every single possession, um, or every set of downs.
72:34And I think, I think Gordon can filter in there, especially as a, as a red zone option.
72:39Um, and I think Gordon would be the first guy up, uh, before you continue, we continue.
72:45I do want to just take a look at the board.
72:48Why don't we ask the viewers, by the way, we got, we got, you know, so far on the live stream, we
72:55have 355 total views in total, which is on YouTube, um, that have tuned in so far today.
73:01Uh, please hit that thumbs up guys. If you guys are enjoying the stream, uh, hit the thumbs up.
73:07It helps us out tremendously. Uh, you know, like, and subscribe if you have not already, uh, breaking news.
73:12Debo Samuel is officially signing with the 49ers that just happened.
73:16Hey, so that go call back to that board.
73:19We'll have to find where he went again and shout that person out.
73:23Yeah. Maybe they had news. Maybe they were scouring the Twitter X streets.
73:27What a call, what a feeling to be mid drag Debo Samuel in round 10.
73:32You can kiss that goodbye. Probably going to go maybe another round or two up.
73:36It's at 49ers off and see a lore. I was just speaking to, I think is it Al Calo on X.
73:43Yep. That's my guy. Yep. Yeah. I think we were having the conversation.
73:47Shout out to him, all the work he does about, Hey, who would we prefer for the 49ers for the commanders?
73:53And for me, I was stylistically saying I'd like digs for the commanders and Debo to come back to the 49ers.
74:00It could be all the old heads reunion with Mike Evans, but the beauty is he already knows and has familiarity with the system.
74:08So love to see Debo Samuel. What a great fit.
74:11What a cool reunion. And as bad as it hurts.
74:14Cause I know, I think Pete, you were kind of in on some Ricky Pierce.
74:18All it hurts to see. I think it was very high on him.
74:23So I think it's bad news for Ricky Pierce.
74:25All for, we might get some of that Chris Brazil type of news that it was half the season and then it's all the season.
74:33So it's pretty sad. You're on the clock here.
74:36Shout out to the 542 people on stream. What are you going through here?
74:40What's in your mind, Pete? Pete, I got to say the, the new Orleans saints, I messed up here.
74:46That was my defense. They just went last. Uh, you know, they just went last and they have one of the easiest schedules.
74:53So I'm going to have to, are you sure?
74:56Are you sure they went, where did they go?
74:59No, they, they went, they went last round. Yep.
75:02They are off the board. Uh, so I'm going to have to pivot.
75:06Um, Oh man. All right. I'm going to take the jets.
75:09I'll take the jets. They have a, they have fourth easiest strength to schedule per draft sharks.
75:15Um, I don't have the jets ranked high in my DST ranking.
75:19So this is a click solely vibes, uh, Cincinnati bangles, green Bay Packers.
75:23Those are two defenses. I'll have to target on the way back, but, um, I do like the playoff schedule a little bit for the jets though.
75:31Um, they get the Cardinals late in the season.
75:34So that's obviously attractive. Um, but yeah, that, that one definitely stings.
75:38They get Cardinals, uh, then they get the Patriots and the Vikings.
75:41So it's not the best schedule after the Cardinals.
75:44So we have a little bit of work to do to, to find a defense to pair with them or two.
75:51Um, I did talk about the bangles bangles. Do you get the Panthers in the first week, week 15, I had them ranked decently high.
75:59Um, well, not, I'm sorry. I had the bangles ranked high for the bangles, uh, not high in my rankings.
76:05Bangles are 17, but yeah, that's a bummer. A little flustered there.
76:09Uh, jets just got to hope, you know, fourth, fourth, easiest strength schedule culture six.
76:13Maybe I take a stab at them, but I'm not going to double up on defenses right here.
76:19I don't think anybody else is going to do that right here.
76:23So yeah, I'm going to have to come back pivot.
76:26We talked about Chimere DK before, uh, Jeremiah he's available.
76:29Um, running back starting to kind of get really, really ugly here.
76:33Um, I'm not jazzed to take a guy like him, but maybe I take a, I take him and just get another
76:40quarterback tight end wise, Theo Johnson and Eli Stowers are there.
76:43I could get the stack with Theo Johnson or I can go upside with Stowers.
76:48I'm sure I go upside with Stowers. Yeah. You're right.
76:51As you talk that out, you delivered and got there.
76:54You would probably be getting too cute with the stack there on some Theo Johnson.
76:59And I think that's something more mature best ball players.
77:02As you're developing, you don't get the inclination to go three and four and just go crazy on a stack.
77:08You, you, you draft half the team at a certain point and you don't just do it to do it at a certain point.
77:15Eli Stowers will print over war value, everything week over week.
77:19Eli Stowers versus Theo Johnson, the path for, uh, Theo Johnson would be Isaiah likely fully out of the way.
77:25I know there's the, uh, Dallas Goddard element with Stowers, but I think there's more believability that Stowers will get more run
77:32as a rookie over Theo Johnson this year. I love to play for the giants in the red zone.
77:38I think a healthy Malik neighbors, the RPO element of Scadabo and dart.
77:42I don't see how they just got to get there first, but I don't see how at the five yard line you stop this giants offense.
77:50And that sounds very disgusting. But when you think of the red zone targets in likely Johnson Malik neighbors in the RPO
77:57that I alluded to, uh, Malikai feels is a huge target too.
78:01It's insane. I, I just think it's wild and people are very much down collectively because it's the Matt Nagy offense.
78:07Yeah. I got to say too, um, Odell Beckham is, is interesting.
78:11I hate to be that guy. Um, but reports have said that he's looked good.
78:16I think he's going to make the team. Um, he's a, he's an interesting pick.
78:21I would never take him this high, but Beckham is, is interesting late, uh, to get him on a stack.
78:27I can look at the Ravens too, shifting from the giants, the Ravens.
78:31I mean, uh, Elijah Surratt is still available. Jacoby lane is still available.
78:35Rashad Bateman, um, might still be available and we get goes off the board.
78:39I'm not a big fan of Legette, but if they don't assign somebody after this injury, uh, you know, with, uh, with,
78:46with the rookie that they just drafted this year, uh, brazzle.
78:50I mean, it doesn't, doesn't end up being the worst pick either.
78:53I do like getting value on some of these guys that aren't signed though.
78:58I mean, Keenan Allen, I'm not taking Tyree kill, but like Keenan Allen's still available right now.
79:03He's probably going to sign somewhere and be a player.
79:06Marvin Mims is kind of interesting. Cause we're talking ceiling upside.
79:10He's obviously like fourth debt on the depth chart, but like you still going to have big plays.
79:15Can you talk that through the room for the Denver Broncos?
79:19Can you tell us what Denver Broncos receivers are still available and how do you see that with Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims?
79:26Because I have my thoughts on, I've been clicking a little bit of Troy Franklin sporadically.
79:31I latch onto that coach speak, which isn't always reliable with Sean Payton regarding Pat Bryant.
79:36Hey, he could be like Michael Thomas and granted it's the Jalen Waddle show in Denver, Cortland Sutton, who you got earlier in this draft.
79:44Mims as a Denver Broncos fan, Pete, what's the insight on this Denver Broncos receiving room?
79:49Yeah. I mean, I think it's going to, it's, it's, it's really going to be, so I can go over, uh, a
79:56little bit in terms of, uh, where I have projections for this room.
80:00Uh, so a pap Ryan's going to be the wide receiver three for sure.
80:04Um, I think Troy flanker Franklin's going to take a severe hit.
80:08I think somebody is getting traded. Um, I think that's very, very possible on the horizon here.
80:13I don't think it's Marvin Mims. It's a tough situation for Denver though, because Denver right now, you know, Marvin Mims has
80:20higher value than Troy Franklin, but Marvin Mims is also a free agent after this year, Marvin Mims, all pro, uh, you know, uh, returner last year.
80:29So, you know, he's, he's got some value that matters.
80:32Um, he's also got some big playability and speed and teams love speed, right?
80:36And you can pay for speed. So you look at that element and then you say, well, Troy Franklin is still not going to need to get extended.
80:45So do you keep him? But at the same time, like Troy Franklin also doesn't, he doesn't have nearly as much value
80:52as Marvin Mims if you're going to trade one of them.
80:55Uh, so Mims makes more sense to be traded, but I don't think Denver is going to, you know, soften that room part of the room either.
81:04So it's a very tricky situation for the target share.
81:07I have Jalen Waddle at 21%, uh, with 118 targets.
81:10I could easily see that going higher. Um, I have him for a hundred and 1,281 yards.
81:15I do have his yards per reception at 15.
81:18Uh, so I have him getting back to that year one, year two, uh, in early on in his career for yards per reception.
81:26I have him, you know, projected a 14 and a half fantasy points.
81:30Uh, Corlin Sutton is going to still be involved.
81:3319%. I have met 107 targets. Then it's Pat Ryan at 67.
81:36It's Marvin Mims at 45. And then it's Troy Franklin at 28 targets.
81:40That's how I see this room shaking out. Um, and, uh, that, that would be, uh, you know, that, that would be
81:47kind of my analysis on, on how I see things kind of going.
81:51Hey, I'm trying to see at the receiver position has tank Dell already been picked.
81:56Tank Dell was gone a while ago. Um, I am going to go ahead and just take Theo Johnson.
82:02Cause he did come back to me on the wraparound.
82:05So right now I have four tight ends. That's probably it for me.
82:09I don't think I'm going to take another tight end at this point.
82:13Um, I do have an interesting sneaky pick coming back up at the running back position.
82:18Um, I think it's going to come back to me.
82:21So I'm just going to say it. It's Adam Randall for Baltimore.
82:25Derek Henry has been very, very healthy. Um, he is getting that age where, you know, anything can happen, but there have
82:32been some nice reports, uh, you know, with Adam Randall looking good.
82:36It's early on, of course, but I'll take a shot on Adam Randall, who I think replaces Derek Henry's role before justice
82:43Hill does, you know, if Henry were to go down.
82:46Yeah. I love that play. And funny enough in my pre draft analysis with Adam Randall, he reminded me a lot of
82:53just an inverse version of Zachariah branch at the receiver position where, okay.
82:57Branches diminutive in size. Adam Randall is built like a truck massive, but both players, the whole idea is get the ball
83:04in their hands and get their ball there themselves in space with branch.
83:08It was a little dance there with the words.
83:10Yeah. It's near the line of scrimmage with Adam Randall.
83:14You're trying to just get a truck size lane so he can be on the runway.
83:19If you just get the ball in Adam Randall's hands, if you see how they schemed him at Clemson, it was very
83:25much get the ball in one of the better players hands.
83:29He has a receiving background as well. So there's some versatility skillset.
83:33I love that pick there. And again, Pete in round 25, it's a little bit of a pulse of a player that
83:40you need, but again, trying to not take zeros and you're leveraging upside against a Derek Henry person.
83:45I want to call out Tyree kill goes. I don't think he's even going to play for the entirety of the season.
83:52Yeah. Is, was there any thought towards Elijah Surratt?
83:55And then also how do you feel about Tori Horton?
83:58Cause I love that pick in round 25. Yeah.
84:01Tori Horton's a really phenomenal pick because Horton has a true chance to be the wide receiver to love Cooper cup you
84:08know, respect everything you did for the game. It was great to watch.
84:12But he's certainly not the same player that he used to be.
84:15Tori Horton is a, is an absolutely phenomenal pick at this stage of the game.
84:20You know, lasting to pick 300. And this is the fun thing.
84:24I mean, you know, you sit here and, and, you know, people are probably like, dude, how are you guys drafting 30 rounds?
84:31Right. We're almost at the end here, which this draft has actually flown by.
84:36I mean, we are, we are not even at the hour 30 mark.
84:40So before we continue, we're going to take one more break and then I'm going to bring up a couple of sneaky
84:46players that I'm targeting as we head to the end of this draft.
84:51The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform. Why third round reversal Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation.
84:56So it's a lottery based system where you can put in your preference, where you want to draft it's full PPR.
85:02There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
85:07And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
85:12In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
85:16And if you win that 300 grand, you can also join the circle world championship and that's 200 grand.
85:22You win both, you win a million dollars. So go to play NFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes.
85:31You can use first time, 100 to get a hundred bucks when you sign up, but also every time you sign up
85:37for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
85:43Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
85:47All right, beautiful. We are back Roman Wilson off the board reports out of camp.
85:52Roman Wilson has looked phenomenal to start camp. He's been heavily, heavily targeted and he's been out there trading with Jeremy Bernard
85:59in that, you know, third wide receiver spot with the first team offense.
86:03So not a bad pick there. There is a player that I'm going to take next.
86:08I keep teasing these, but I'm going to say that there's a player very, very excited to pick.
86:14If he comes back to me, I don't want to spoil too much, but I think you'll be very happy with the pick.
86:21Any guesses? I can, I want to, I'm going to show you the board.
86:25I'm going to show everybody. I like to see, I like to show people the board, but I'm going to show you what's available.
86:33So we'll switch up the screen here really quick.
86:36It is a wide receiver. Are there any of these players at wide receiver?
86:40If Chimere Dike, you have Jalen Noel, uh, Tyree kill did just go.
86:44Did he just go? Yeah, he did go. Chimere Dike went, sorry.
86:48Chimere went Hill, Jalen Noel, Brasel who's out for the year, Tyquan Thornton, Devon Vele, Skylar Bell, Marvin Mims, Tez Johnson, Darius Slayton, Jacoby Lane.
86:56Any of those guys stick out to you? Or is there somebody that I haven't mentioned that you think, uh, that I might have my eyes on?
87:04Oh, uh, two players. One is going to be Tyquan Thornton for just like the high leverage situation with Patrick Mahomes and
87:11he can get some of that Alec Pierce at range, uh, deep in the draft.
87:16And then, uh, also there was another player that you had.
87:19Oh, Bryce Lance. I saw Bryce Lance up there.
87:22I think he's a very sneaky player with Tyler Shuck and the leverage that you have down between a lava who's had
87:29concussion issues, Jordan Tyson, who has had health issues.
87:32I don't think you're necessarily taking a full speculative full season zero if you select somebody like Bryce Lance.
87:38So between Thornton and Lance, did I hit on anything or would it be Jalen Noel?
87:43Noel for some Texans, but what do you, what do you got?
87:46So Tyquan Thornton was interesting, but Cyrus Allen, uh, the rookie, uh, I, I love the pick here.
87:52Uh, you know, he's getting steamed up as well.
87:55Uh, James Palmer tweeted out Cyrus Allen. Remember that name?
87:58Uh, he's, he's looking good and this is a team that needs help on an offense that should be good.
88:04So I'm happy to get it. I do have to take a defense at this point.
88:09I did want to take the Colts. That was going to be my next pick.
88:14I didn't. So I pivoted to Allen. I figured I could get Colts Allen on the turn here.
88:19Uh, defenses are kind of whittling down here. I've kind of pinned myself in a bad spot with defenses.
88:25I got to be honest with you. Uh, only a few defenses are left.
88:30Uh, it's Tennessee Titans. It's the bangles, the Raiders.
88:33I'm going to go with the bangles because I do think the bangles are going to be better this year.
88:39I had them ranked inside my top 20. Um, you know, they've made a lot of additions, uh, to that defense that
88:46I'm kind of, kind of interested to see. Uh, you know, they did have, they did have one of their top edge rushers from last year's draft.
88:54Shamar Stewart go down, but it looks like it's just a hyper extension.
88:58It looked like he tore his knee. So that's encouraging at least, uh, you know, for the defense.
89:04But, um, I think this defense is going to be better this year, Jeremiah.
89:08So I'm, uh, I'm okay getting them. The defense did not work out.
89:12I thought I was going to have the saints in the, in the back pocket and they went, uh, I should have, shouldn't have got greedy.
89:20And, uh, I did, and it kind of bit me there and you see all the defenses are pretty much going now.
89:27Everyone's kind of just filling up on them. Uh, so there's probably not going to be anything left when it comes back to me.
89:35Well, some of your streaming element, people will forget sometimes you'll see a 51 over under game listed for Vegas for the week and shy away.
89:43And sometimes that's where you can get still all the scoring.
89:46And ironically, some big plays that come along with the way in special teams and in defenses where that team actually plays
89:53up their middle of the pack defense that you have ranked.
89:57I think you have them ranked 17th, the Cincinnati Bengals middle of the pack.
90:01Right. And yes, it's been picked over. So in that sense, going to Bengals, that's the play that you make.
90:07So in a way in round 27 here, you're just playing to the fact that this is something that you would stream it.
90:15It's not going to be a week over week hit, but you're going to hope that Joe Burrow with a little bit
90:21of an improved defense is going to draw those shootouts and Hey, you get a nice pick six.
90:27And then maybe there's eight points out there for the Bengals on a barn burner of a game.
90:33And it's just kind of ironic how it happens.
90:35We know sacks are one of the most predictive things for the better offenses.
90:40It gets us more points, but some of those big plays can be out there even in those higher leverage games.
90:46I remember last year, the 49ers against the Colts, the Colts came out hot.
90:51And I think it was like 17 points that the team defense got, depending on the format, the 49ers had.
90:57So it's not make or break these 13 to 10 games all the time for the defenses.
91:02Oh, and sorry, Cyrus Allen, man. What a great pick.
91:05I love that. Kind of like Tori Horton. I think I'm going to be looking around for somebody like Cyrus Allen.
91:12Here you get them in round 26. Pete, how high would he go if we get more confirmation that he is the
91:19bonafide wide receiver two over Xavier worthy? If he's, he's getting first team offense, three receiver sets, any kind of invitation towards
91:2650% plus snap share as a rookie, how high would you be drafting Cyrus Allen?
91:31Yeah. I mean, I'd be taking him probably like one of your last picks in drafts.
91:36Um, I would have him kind of in that range of Rashad Bateman, Isaac Tesla, Jeremy Bernard, somewhere in that one 78
91:42range is, is pretty much where I would have him.
91:46So getting him here at that value is, is, is very, very nice.
91:50Um, I, I, I don't know. I mean, it's, it's crazy.
91:53You can tell how much of sickos we are that we're getting excited about players that we're taking, you know, at pick
92:00300, but that's just kind of where we are, man.
92:03Taequann Thornton goes off the board just now as well.
92:06Once I take this next pick, we have, I have two more picks after this one.
92:11I'm going to read off my roster and then we're going to talk about a little bit about strategy, uh, just in
92:18general about, you know, what some, what players have been taking, what teams did we like, how they drafted Jeremiah.
92:24Um, so I'll scroll up once we're done and kind of read, uh, so you can get a chance to take a
92:31look at the teams here, but, um, you know, so far so good.
92:35I'm, I'm liking the team that we've drafted. Uh, there are still some interesting plays on the board, still going to probably target running back.
92:43I'm going to take Najee Harris here. Um, it's a throwaway, right?
92:47We're talking round 28 here, but Najee Harris probably signs with the team, maybe plays in that Kareem hunt style role, Jeremiah,
92:54where he, he's just kind of that goal line guy that scores touchdowns, right?
92:58Maybe he goes to a team like Kansas city, uh, you know, to kind of be some insurance behind a Kenneth Walker.
93:05I don't know. Right. But we know there's a lot of veterans that are out there right now, still Keenan Allen, Stefan digs, uh, Najee Harris.
93:13There are veterans that are out there that will probably, you know, not completely take away, uh, but they will kind of
93:20be thorns in sides and maybe score touchdowns or shorts or take target share away from players.
93:25And, uh, those guys, you can get at nice values at the end of a draft like this.
93:31And the beautiful thing is we don't have to start them.
93:34So it's just best ball, right? Like they just get slotted into the lineup.
93:39Uh, so that's, that's the beautiful thing about best ball.
93:42Well, it's essentially, can you tell a story and here's a story?
93:46Okay. It's, it's, it's not necessarily going to happen, but David Montgomery goes down to injury.
93:51We saw last year, Nick Chubb and Woody Marks, uh, Najee Harris.
93:54We don't know if he's dust yet, but I could see if Montgomery were down for a significant amount of time that
94:01it is not, I know for a fact, it will not just be the Woody Marks show.
94:07So right off what's the friction point at all.
94:09It's, it's just a free agent. It's not even a trade as we alluded to with Trey Benson or James Conner.
94:16So it's one less mode of interference. You may find yourself with some Najee Harris being able to just be scooped up
94:23by a team who suffers injury in that example.
94:26Stimulus that just happened with no friction within this own draft was Debo Samuel.
94:30Hey, I'm going to park on the side, be a free agent.
94:34And when something comes up, it'll open up for me and then I'll fit.
94:38I've seen some players. They tend to do it.
94:41There's a benefit there for Keenan Allen, for Stefan Diggs that as need comes up, the money can get there to a
94:48degree, but then the opportunity and the landing spot can be there as well.
94:52Because sometimes it's better to be a free agent and opportune yourself because Debo Samuel is now opportuning himself to getting the
94:59one-year deal and being in an environment where he's familiar and where he can win.
95:04Think of the agent stage of where players are as well.
95:07You get a lot more freedom. I mean, literally it's free agency.
95:11That is a benefit. So to that point, if you have anything to speak onto that, Pete, let us know.
95:17But then I love what you just did with Jacoby Lane.
95:21Backdoor, the most backdoor stack there is. Are you happy with that pick?
95:25Yeah, I'm good with Lane. That was somebody we had talked about before.
95:29You know, he kind of slots in for us, you know, in that stack.
95:33And really for the Giants, I mean, we've got Theo Johnson, you know, we've got Darnell Mooney now.
95:39We've got Malik. We've got Jackson Dart. You know, and then on the Ravens side of things, we have Adam Randall.
95:45So that's somewhat of a stack, I guess, right?
95:48I mean, you know, with Lamar, of course, we have Jacoby Lane and we have Mark Andrews.
95:54So we've kind of done a decent job there for the Browns.
95:57Of course, you know, we have Deshaun Watson. We have Casey Concepcion.
96:01And then we obviously also took Jerry Judy. So we've stacked a decent amount.
96:05We've got some high upside here on this team.
96:08So, yeah, I think it's kind of fell the way we have wanted it to.
96:13There's not really there's only one pick left. So just taking a look at some of these players.
96:19Noah Gray is kind of interesting. I don't want to take another tight end because I have four.
96:24But given the fact that I have Travis Kelsey, Noah Gray last year was a player that, you know, has he's shown
96:31he can be involved right when Travis Kelsey slowed down or when he was injured, he did step up.
96:37So that's interesting. Max Clare is available. I don't know if I want to go the tight in route.
96:43Running backs are pretty brutal. I'm going to read off some of the running backs.
96:48Oh, is there there's a running back that I mentioned earlier that I don't think if my eyes don't deceive me, I think he's still available.
96:56Let's take a look here. So, well, what's who is it?
96:59Isaiah Davis. Did he get clicked? Yeah, he went.
97:02Isaiah Davis went. It's really like Bashard Smith, Devin Neal, Kareem Hunt, Joe Mixon, Eli Heinrich, who I don't want.
97:08Andre Gestime, Jerome Ford. These are really not guys that we can confidently say, hey, if somebody this guy goes down, this guy can step in.
97:16It's if this is the point where the running backs, this is this is not a stage in the game where we're
97:23like, OK, take another running back because somebody gets hurt, they can step in.
97:28There's really just no there's there's not really much left here to that stand out for me is Jam Miller.
97:34I think he would replace for Mondray Stevenson, but you already have Trevion Henderson.
97:38But I would argue that they play this late, right?
97:41That this late, I think that would be an all right pick.
97:45Yeah. And then scroll. Keep scrolling around. I thought, oh, um, Jarquez Hunter, the third running back on the ran.
97:51This deep. He's got a pulse year to with Sean McVay where, hey, you're a rookie and you got to stay over here.
97:59But then, hey, it's year two. We might see that with Terrence Ferguson this year.
98:03Could be an opportunity. We don't like to think or or talk about Kyron Williams or Blake Horm as getting hurt.
98:10But it's a process play where we know it happened.
98:13So law of large numbers, there's an opportunity there.
98:16So are you inclined towards a receiver? What position do you want to go with your last pick here, Pete?
98:22Man, uh, I mean, we talked about Odell. I'm looking at these wide receivers.
98:26I mean, it's it's there's there's not much here that's left.
98:30I mean, maybe you believe in the Don Dante Thornton.
98:33I mean, they really didn't do much in Vegas to add to this room.
98:37I mean, you have Jack Bash. Uh, maybe maybe Thornton's kind of interesting.
98:41I'll star him as I have a couple a little bit of time right here before it's about to come back to me.
98:49Jimmy Horn's interesting with the with the injury to, you know, the wide receiver over there.
98:54I'm scrolling back up though. Marvin Mims here. I know we talked about him before when we think upside big plays.
99:00I mean, he didn't average much last year, only one touchdown, which I thought he scored more.
99:06So that's a little surprising to me. Um, let's see who is what about Calvin Austin here?
99:11You get the get the giant stack. What about or Devontae Walker who could also, I think Walker, I think I would want to go.
99:19I would want to go Walker. Okay. Definitely. Yep.
99:22We'll go Walker. I think the thought process there is I've stacked a lot of bad players on the giants enough.
99:28Uh, you know, Devontae Walker, he's got a big frame.
99:31He fits in a role that, you know, if he steps up and can fend off, you know, the Surrattes and those
99:38kinds of guys, he can be that kind of big X kind of wide receiver in a way fit that big, uh, big, big mold.
99:46Um, but all right, so the draft is over.
99:49Uh, let's go ahead and take one more break.
99:52Stick with us. We're going to talk about the team that we drafted so far, and then we'll come right back.
99:58The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform. Why third round reversal Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation.
100:03So it's a lottery based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft it's full PPR.
100:10There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
100:15And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
100:19In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC prime time.
100:24And if you win that 300 grand, you can also join the circle world championship and that's 200 grand.
100:30You win both. You win a million dollars. So go to play NFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes.
100:38You can use first time 100 to get a hundred bucks when you sign up, but also every time you sign up
100:45for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
100:51Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
100:55All right, folks, we are back. Thank you guys so much for tuning in and sticking with us here.
101:01We still got 10 people on the YouTube side.
101:04We still got people watching on Twitch as well.
101:07Very much do appreciate it. Smooth is in the house at Tank Bell coming back.
101:12Dell coming back. Also, yeah, Dell is definitely, I have Dell moved up decently high in my rankings.
101:17He looks pretty healthy, Jeremiah. But before we get into the Tank Dell conversation, I do want to mention one more time.
101:24If you guys have not already, please give us a thumbs up on the YouTube.
101:29It does help us out tremendously. Helps to push us out.
101:32Helps push out the channel. Helps support us. Small thing you could do.
101:36Takes two seconds. If you're here, you might as well do it.
101:40You've already been listening to us this long, so you might as well just give us a like at least.
101:46But let's take a look at how we did so far.
101:50So in the first round, Jeremiah, we talked through the process.
101:53I took James Cook at the 111 to anchor down my running back room.
101:58I did have Chase Brown and Kenneth Walker ranked ahead of CeeDee Lamb.
102:02Lamb does slip though into the second round at the 202.
102:05I took Lamb just because this is a start three wide receiver type of tournament here.
102:10So I thought it made a ton of sense to go ahead and make that decision there to take Lamb over the
102:17running backs, even if I have them ranked higher in just a standard points per game situation.
102:22I took Malik Neighbors. I took Mike Evans. Neighbors, we got back on the third round reversal, which was really, really nice
102:29because we never would have got Neighbors, of course.
102:32And to stack Neighbors, Lamb and Cook, I think in the next week or two, you're not going to be able to
102:39find Malik Neighbors in the third round. So getting those guys is pretty unique at this stage in the game or will be unique.
102:46Obviously people have been drafting and Neighbors has been a guy that's been going third round sometimes in the fourth.
102:53But that was interesting. We get Mike Evans, we get Trevion Henderson.
102:56So we start three receivers, two running backs. We get Lamar Jackson, Rico Dowdle, Jackson Dart, Cortland Sutton, Travis Kelsey, Casey Concepcion, Mark Andrews, Stefan Diggs.
103:04That's pretty much our main build of players. We end up starting off in the first 13 rounds with six wide receivers.
103:11Sutton ends up being my fourth. Casey ends up being my fifth.
103:15Travis Kelsey, Mark Andrews end up being the one and two tight ends that I have.
103:20Andrews gets to stack with Lamar, which is nice.
103:23And then it's really just a lot of just dumpster diving from the rest.
103:27Here we get Tank Bigsby, who was a nice cuff to Saquon Barkley.
103:31We take the Dallas Cowboys kickers, which was the first kickers to go off the board in the 15th round.
103:38We got Ray Davis to cuff with James Cook.
103:40And we talked about it when we were thinking upside.
103:44Yes. You know, I don't love cuffing my own player, but given what's on the board and how thinned out things get, I do like Ray Davis.
103:52We've seen him smash when he's been thrown into the opportunity.
103:55If Cook has missed time, Jerry Judy, Deshaun Watson, we get the stack there with him in Casey Conception with Watson, James Connor.
104:03We're hoping we talked about him. Maybe he gets cut and finds a new team.
104:07Uh, Ollie Gordon, we think is the number two for the, uh, dolphins.
104:11Darnell Mooney. We get to stack back up with Jackson Dart.
104:15We take the New York jets out of desperation, but they do have fourth easiest schedule.
104:20Um, Eli Stowers, Theo Johnson late. Uh, those were nice values, especially on Stowers with the upside.
104:25We still get the stack Theo on the way back with Jackson Dart.
104:29We get Adam Randall goes to the Ravens. Cyrus Allen ends up probably being my favorite pick here.
104:35I got to say Cyrus Allen. I ended up getting in round 26, uh, late two hundreds for Cyrus Allen.
104:41And this is a guy Jeremiah, who I think in the next couple of weeks is probably going to be going inside
104:48the top 200 and probably somewhere on that one 70 range.
104:51Uh, and I think he can be a contributor on a team that lacks a lot of weapons.
104:57We take the bangles. We take the nausea Harris who needs a team.
105:01Still, we take Jacoby lane and Devontez Walker to stack up with Lamar Jackson.
105:06And that's the team so far. So I kind of like how things turned out.
105:10Um, I do want to say one more time, if you guys are watching or you're listening on the audio side, make
105:17sure you guys use promo code first time 100, uh, you get a hundred dollars off an entry of $150.
105:23So this only costs, you know, $50 for $150 draft here.
105:27You're only paying $50 if you use that promo code.
105:30And I'm sure people did use that to draft today and probably will tomorrow.
105:34So make sure you continue to use that and then use some player profiler codes as well.
105:40If you've already used that first time 100, you can still get, uh, some discounts as well.
105:45Player profiler 15 gets $15 off the 150 NFFC best ball entries.
105:49So same as what we just did. Profiler 25 gets you $25 off the football guys online championship.
105:54Profiler 100 gets you a hundred dollars off the NFFC prime time.
105:58And then a profiler 150 gets you $150 off the Circa world championship.
106:02Those are our promos. Uh, that's what you can go ahead and do if you want to continue playing and get some discounts.
106:09But Jeremiah, I've talked a lot. I'm going to scroll back up on the board.
106:14Talk to me, you know, quick shot looking at the board here.
106:18Um, is there anybody that sticks out to you?
106:21Anybody that fell? I did talk about Jalen Waddle and Terry McLaurin.
106:24Those guys are typically in a, in a regular format, not high stakes casual leagues.
106:29Those guys are probably going around five, but I do love them because I have them.
106:34I'm ahead of market on them as well. And so I like that somebody took them with conviction here in the early fourth.
106:41Does anything stick out to you on this board though?
106:44Hey, one, I just got to say, I'm really glad that I went P before this.
106:49Cause we're going near hour and 45 on this.
106:52You leverage your top five picks to leverage, to get round six, Lamar Jackson.
106:57I really think set up the entirety of your team because you had the three, two where it's lamb neighbors, Evans wrapped
107:03around to the two running backs of cook and Travion Henderson.
107:07And then you get a non-pressured Lamar Jackson. As you went down the board, you were able to back stack.
107:13You were able to on the front end stack Jackson dart with Malik neighbors, but back end stack on the other side
107:20of Lamar Jackson, where you didn't have say flowers or Derek Henry, but you got seemingly all the rest of the leverage
107:27points in that offense where it's Mark Andrews, Jacobi Lane, Adam Randall and Devontez Walker.
107:32Like you actually subtly got the back of the depth chart as you went to the back of the draft.
107:38So it was really cool how that happened for you.
107:41And then I liked the tight end builds. Uh, but looking at this draft, what was neat, what did stand out to
107:48me was how many times you and I were on the precipice of discussing a player and granted people could be watching, but these are sharp people.
107:56Let's give them credit to the room, including your father who was in here as well.
108:01Shout out to Mr. Terranova. But I didn't like his draft.
108:05We would talk about people. Hey, I dressed that up, man.
108:08We could have left that alone. Uh, we, we would talk about a player in a range and that player would go
108:15within the next four or five picks. So it's a credit.
108:18It's nice to be on the pulse and be talking about the players as we're going, but it's also cool to see
108:25how they'll get gobbled up because it is get your guy season.
108:29And it started and you see it littered. If you read the board, it started with a Marion Hampton at the one
108:36Oh nine, you get a Marion Hampton at the one Oh nine and you're yanking the steering wheel.
108:42Whose value is that too though? It's to the person who team 10 went and got Ashton Janty in early round two.
108:49So you don't take one player it's to somebody else's benefit.
108:52But at the same time, if you don't take your stand, there's people who will do portfolio on this, but if we're
108:59talking about $150 entry, Pete, this might be it, or it might only be five of these teams.
109:04So your shot, there's a finite amount of shots at these players.
109:08If you have a stand. So if you didn't get a chase Brown, who you're very high on, I'll ask you, Pete,
109:15looking at CD lamb there, is there any regret that you didn't get chase Brown?
109:20Or are you happy that you played it out in wet lamb and saw fruition the rest of your team, how it unfolded?
109:27Cause everything's a ripple effect. Yeah, I was actually pretty happy.
109:30Uh, it kind of worked out how we wanted it to.
109:34The only thing that, that bit us a little bit is while I did take the Lamar value there, we didn't get
109:41any high end stacks outside of dart and neighbors.
109:44That's the only thing that leaves me with somewhat regret, right?
109:47Purdy and Prescott go just ahead of us. Um, you know, you can look back on the board.
109:53I did get a ton of value on more, so I don't, I wouldn't change that.
109:58Uh, getting him to fall, getting him behind burrow and Drake may, I have news for you.
110:03I I'm not that high on Drake may this year.
110:06He's got a very tough schedule. Um, and while he does get AJ Brown, he's got a tough schedule.
110:12So taking him as the quarterback to, uh, in round five, the first pick in round five is a massive, massive expense.
110:19And then Jalen hurts. That guy takes, uh, the next round as well.
110:23I'm not sure what that drafter was thinking there because he doesn't even have the AJ stack.
110:28And with hurts, he doesn't even have the Devonta Smith stack.
110:32So that was pretty questionable there. Uh, but to your question with CD lamb, I'm happy that I took him there.
110:38He did fall. And again, you have to understand, you have to understand the format that you're drafting in, in this scenario,
110:45we're talking a three start three wide receiver format.
110:48And so that has to outweigh just because I have chase or Kenneth Walker ahead in points per game projections.
110:54I have to keep that in mind so that I don't end up chasing later on, uh, which we didn't have to
111:01chase because we took the wide receiver in round two and three.
111:05And excellent breakdown, Pete, uh, before we run it, anything else for the audience?
111:09No, I think that's really it. This was a great show.
111:13Uh, me and Jeremiah are going to be back here.
111:16I believe next Wednesday, it's possible it ends up being next Monday, but we think we're shooting for next Wednesday.
111:22Uh, if you guys do want to draft with us, make sure you check out the description.
111:27The promo codes are there. You can get in.
