Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeMatchup62:14

The source expects DJ Turner to shadow Brian Thomas Jr. whenever he is on the field, limiting his slot opportunities.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeValue59:58

The source expresses concern regarding Brock Bowers' 7 overall ADP, stating it does not feel great from a roster construction standpoint compared to other tight end options.

NegativeValue60:05

The source questions the value of Brock Bowers at a 7 overall ADP, preferring to look for value at running back and wide receiver later in the draft.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection43:06

The source is betting the over on Brock Purdy, expecting him to exceed 19.15 fantasy points.

Insight page
PositiveUsage60:38

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveUsage23:18

The source believes Bucky Irving has outperformed Kenneth Gainwell and expects the Buccaneers to lean on him in the run game. Despite some coach speak about pass protection, the source views Irving as the primary back for this game plan.

Insight page

Cam Ward

NegativeBust53:14

The source labels Cam Ward a 'good old fashioned bust' who is forgettable and likely to be out of the league in five years, noting the Titans will likely draft a replacement quarterback.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeValue58:26

Chase Brown's ADP has risen by a full round, which the source finds surprising and potentially overvalued.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeProjection59:39

The source notes that Christian McCaffrey and Derrick Henry are currently battling for the RB1 spot in fantasy projections.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveUsage45:44

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue60:55

The source likes Dalton Schultz as a 'scroll down' tight end option, noting that the point projection difference between him and elite options like Travis Kelce is minimal (approx. 1.5 points).

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveValue10:23

The source suggests Achane is worth a point or two against the spread because his replacements are among the least efficient running backs in the NFL, and the team's offensive identity relies heavily on the run game.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection50:54

Derrick Henry is viewed as a high-floor touchdown scorer, with the source noting he frequently scores early in games. The source has heavily invested in his touchdown props.

Insight page
PositiveValue59:39

The source identifies Derrick Henry as a strong value pick, noting that his ADP falling behind Christian McCaffrey provides a nice opportunity for closing line value (CLV).

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

NegativeUsage58:42

Despite coach speak suggesting an increased role, Emmett Johnson's usage is primarily limited to games where the Chiefs are leading by 10 or more points.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveUsage60:12

The source considers George Kittle an elite tight end option, noting that he accounted for a significant portion of their exposure in previous lineups.

Hunter Henry

PositiveValue60:58

The source likes Hunter Henry as a value tight end option based on his specific game environment and matchup.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeUsage44:02

The source expresses frustration with Jadarian Price, noting he has failed to separate in practice and is effectively out of the rotation. He is now considered a 'bust' who would require an injury to others to regain value.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeProjection50:34

The source expresses skepticism regarding Jake Ferguson's performance, noting he is 'just fine' and prone to fumbling, which may open opportunities for other tight ends on the roster.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeRole33:45

The source suggests Jameis Winston is effectively 'cooked' and expects JJ to take over as the starter by week nine, following the team's week eight bye.

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeValue61:34

The source notes that James Cook's ADP has been falling, which they view as a positive development for potential drafters.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveUsage47:12

Javonte Williams is a strong bet for a touchdown this week. The team has acknowledged a need to run the ball more in the red zone, creating a 'squeaky wheel' narrative for him.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue61:50

The source highlights Jeremiah Love as one of their favorite plays for the week.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveValue62:53

The source identifies Jordan Love as a preferred quarterback option, citing his falling value as a reason to target him.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveUsage12:15

The source is highly bullish on Josh Downs, noting his increased average depth of target (ADOT) which now reaches double digits for the first time in his career. With Alec Pierce and Michael Pittman Jr. out, Downs has become the focal point of the Colts' offense.

Insight page
PositiveUsage42:30

The source is high on Josh Downs, projecting him to hit his over of 62.5 receiving yards. This outlook is further bolstered by the news of Keenan Allen's groin injury, which could increase Downs' target share.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeInjury6:36

The source notes that Jefferson might not be available for the upcoming game against the Dolphins, which is a significant factor in the team's offensive outlook.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection43:03

Kenneth Walker is projected to score a touchdown this week, making him a key piece in the source's touchdown survivor pool strategy.

Insight page
PositiveUsage58:42

Kenneth Walker remains the primary back for the Chiefs in competitive game scripts, with 58 carries and 17 targets in games where they aren't leading by 10+ points. The source advises monitoring game script expectations when betting his props.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage42:52

The source includes Kyren Williams in a betting parlay, taking the over of 14.5 receiving yards.

Insight page
PositiveUsage52:05

Kyren Williams has shown significant improvement in his pass-catching ability over the summer, leading to increased trust from the coaching staff. The source favors his receiving yardage props.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeUsage20:03

The source argues that while Burden is having a fine start to the season, the hype surrounding him is excessive compared to his actual production. He recorded 11 targets and a designed touchdown last week.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveUsage66:46

The source likes Makai Lemon to exceed 3.5 receptions, noting that he is frequently utilized in screen plays, which provides a high floor for his reception count.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury27:23

The source expresses concern regarding Malik Nabers, citing his own comments about not trusting his knees and the potential for his arm strength to be diminished, making him a risky bet.

Insight page
NegativeUsage42:52

The source is betting the under on Malik Nabers' receiving yards, set at 54.5.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeMatchup8:30

The source views the matchup of Malik Willis against Brian Flores' defense as an "insane mismatch," noting that the Dolphins struggle when trailing and lack the ability to generate pressure.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveBreakout35:09

The source highlights Michael Wilson as a high-upside play based on coach speak comparing his deployment to Puka Nacua's role in the offense. He is noted as a strong 'scroll down' option in Best Ball formats due to his correlation with game environments and efficient projections relative to his ADP.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveUsage61:55

The source considers Parker Washington a 'smash' play, noting his usage metrics (aDOT, target share) are comparable to Justin Jefferson's, especially in a game script where the Jaguars are forced to pass.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeValue58:26

Puka Nacua's ADP has shifted significantly due to injury news, making him a different value proposition in drafts compared to earlier in the week.

Insight page
PositiveProjection60:33

The source is optimistic about Puka Nacua's availability and performance, suggesting he could drop a 'nuke' if he is cleared to play, and notes his ADP could rise if McVay confirms his health.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveUsage15:52

The source expects Bigsby to see increased usage, potentially reaching 20-22 touches, as the Jaguars look to secure a win with playoff tiebreaker implications. The source also notes that Bigsby has been performing well despite not yet breaking a long run, comparing his situation to Bijan Robinson's early career trajectory.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeValue64:44

The source compares Travis Kelce to cheaper tight end options like Dalton Schultz, noting that the projection difference is only about 1.5 points.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveUsage2:22

The source highlights that the Jaguars have done a great job protecting Lawrence, who has only faced pressure on 20% of his dropbacks with a 2.4 average time to throw and only four sacks in three games. The source also notes that Lawrence's performance is significantly bolstered by having high-quality receivers, contrasting his current success with his earlier career struggles when he lacked such weapons.

Insight page
PositiveProjection62:41

The source identifies Trevor Lawrence as a top-projected quarterback for the slate and a strong candidate for stacking with his pass catchers.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveUsage60:12

The source favors Trey McBride as an elite tight end option, specifically highlighting his status as a favorite in the matchup against the Giants.

Insight page

Tyson Bagent

PositiveDepth Chart20:24

0:00Great week last week on the program. My favorite pick against the spread easily hit.
0:04Nez's favorite pick against the spread easily hit filled in for my dude Dave.
0:08As my guy Dave was too busy winning $50,000.
0:11We're going to cover that a little bit later on the program.
0:14We're going to go over his VR lineup. We are going to make some picks against the spread.
0:20We're going to fire some props. We are going to talk about the touchdown survivor over on Splash Sports, then survivor as well.
0:26My favorite pick against the spread. I'm actually going back to the well of the only loss.
0:31I have on the year. The Jacksonville Jaguars failed to beat the Denver Broncos, but I'm going back to the well.
0:37I think the Jags are an absolute wagon Dave.
0:40I think that the Jacksonville Jaguars are basically outside of the Chiefs.
0:43I think they're the class of the AFC and if we were only evaluating teams on the context of this year and
0:49just not their historical context, I think they're the best team in the AFC.
0:54I think they're better than the Bills because I think their defense is much, much better than the Bills.
0:59Their run defense is insane. We're talking like historical top tier run defense.
1:03They're top five in every DVOA metric, top five in every EPA per play metric.
1:07I don't know about you. I'm a little unconvinced by this idea that the Bengals defense is all of a sudden very, very good.
1:14Well, the Bengals defense has definitely improved with Definitely improved.
1:17I'm a little unconvinced at Lawrence, but I'm really excited for this game just from the aspect that we haven't seen the Jags gotten pushed that much.
1:25So I'm excited to see if the Bengals will be able to bounce back and kind of have like a good classic shootout with the Jags.
1:32I'm looking forward to this game. I like the Jags side though.
1:35I do. I do hope that we do get a, a shutout or a, like a legitimate shootout here, but basically one
1:42of the big reasons I think to be in on the Jags is that the Jags have done a great, a great job protecting Trevor Lawrence thus far.
1:50He's only faced pressure on 20% of his dropbacks.
1:52He's got 2.4 average time to throw. He's only been sacked four times in three games.
1:57So it's just like really, really hard for opposing defenses to generate pressure on Trevor Lawrence.
2:02And then you also have, um, you know, I mean, you, you've got like these really, really good receivers.
2:07Like I think that's one of the things that still is not really surfaced in mainstream football discussion is just how much having good receivers impacts quarterback play.
2:15Like we've just seen it time and time again, these great quarterbacks, when you take away their great receivers, like my homes
2:22looks positively pedestrian last season with a bad run game, bad receivers.
2:25We've seen it with Burrow would chase off the field.
2:28I mean, we've certainly seen it in Lawrence's career before the Jags had all these receivers.
2:32I mean, we've seen Trevor Lawrence look terrible. Yeah.
2:35Um, yeah, I just, yeah, kind of put a bow on that.
2:38Just like the Jags are wagon and I don't think the market's really giving them that credit yet.
2:44So I actually took him to win the Superbowl, uh, earlier in the week.
2:48So, wow. Took him to win at what number?
2:50Uh, I think, was it for, let me, let me double check.
2:54That's pretty, that's pretty good. I, I, I actually, I honestly, like, I actually like that.
2:58So right now, I mean, frankly, there's no chance I would bet the Rams, the bills, the Niners or the Ravens, these
3:05numbers best to me, best number on the board.
3:07I actually quite like, I actually quite like, uh, that 22 to one number on the Jags right there.
3:13I think that's really strong. I like the Patriots or the Vikings being listed at the same tier.
3:18No, no chance. Completely, completely disagree with that. Yeah.
3:20I took them 20 to one on Bovada. They're 19 to one on FanDuel, 22 to one on, on DraftKings.
3:26Uh, yeah, I just, I just think the market's not giving them enough credit at this price.
3:31I'm totally cool taking that gamble. So, uh, yeah, give me some Jags futures.
3:35And then I like the Jags money line this week.
3:38I think there's a, there's a good chance, not good chance, but I think there's a decent chance that I can get the one seed this year.
3:46So. Yeah. All right. Uh, do you have a favorite pick against the spread this week?
3:50I do. Uh, give me the Vikings minus 11 minus 10 and a half, uh, versus the dolphins.
3:56I understand college not playing great football. I understand Justin Jefferson might not be in this game.
4:00Uh, I just think the field position battle against Brian Forrest is going to be too good for the, for the Vikings
4:07to, to really not just absolutely slam the dolphins.
4:09I wouldn't be surprised if they won like 21 to zero.
4:13So like the Vikings this week. All right. I'm in the done bed.
4:16Uh, every week I am betting $50 of my own money on all of these picks.
4:21And then we're going to fire a bunch of props as well.
4:24I mean, this is one of the most interesting games.
4:27We're going to get into it a little bit more when we talk survivor, but it's like kind of the, the immovable
4:34force meets the very, very stoppable object. The dolphins, I mean, maybe for half a possession, they were kind of in it
4:40against the chiefs because they got, uh, they got a lucky bounce of the ball.
4:44They're not generating any pressure. They're not generating any pressure.
4:47They are, you know, bottom five in all the EPA and DVOA stats.
4:51The Vikings offense through three games has been brutal.
4:53I don't know. I it's, it's hard for me to say Kyler is going to be this bad for the entirety of the season.
5:00And it's hard for me to think KOC can't get more out of these guys.
5:05I mean, missing Jefferson is a big deal, but they can probably just run in this game.
5:10I mean, and the deep, the dude Malik Willis versus Brian floors, that is insane mismatch.
5:14And then even like if they had a chain, if they had, uh, Caleb Douglas, like still, I think they'd be drawing
5:20pretty close to dead, but like the lack of talent, I just think Brian for is going to give this, this offense hell.
5:27So I think we're going to see a lot of position, a lot of field positions around like the, their own 50 and whatnot.
5:34So I'm excited for this game from, uh, how badly, uh, are the dolphins going to do against Brian floors perspective?
5:40Yeah. You know, Brian floors is one of the few guys like they're, they're, um, it's a lot of defensive coordinators whose
5:46names we know that, uh, that we quickly forget.
5:49Like, remember when Lou Amaruno was supposed to have, like, he cracked the code, like, Oh, he's the guy, he's the guy
5:55who, uh, you know, can shut down Patrick Mahomes.
5:58Right. And a lot of that, a lot of the times that's more like personnel based, but with floors, it's not, it's
6:04like his defense has always traveled with him. He always has these really crazy exotic blitz schemes.
6:09And the thing, I think clearly the spot you don't want the dolphins and Malik Willison is being down a touchdown, being down 10 points.
6:16I mean, we saw it in the second half against Kansas city was just like, they got down 10 points and that was it.
6:23And frankly, you know, a chant it's hard to, it's hard to say a running back is like worth too much versus the spread.
6:30But a Chan is probably on the context of this team.
6:33He's got to be worth a point or two because his replacements are two of the least efficient running backs in the entire NFL.
6:40And the whole team is built around like running and running the ball and keeping possession of the ball.
6:46Yeah. The only way I see this, like really going south is if Kyler really just is as like he has been
6:52this entire season and since his late stay with the Cardinals.
6:55Uh, but I really just think they're just going to run, establish the fuck out of the run and, um, uh, get some Aaron Jones and nice touchdown.
7:03We'll talk a little bit more about that later in the show, but yeah, give me Vikings minus 10 and a half minus one Oh eight.
7:11All right. There we go. Two favorite picks against the spread.
7:14Uh, got both of those purchased myself, the Minnesota Vikings minus 10 and a half points.
7:18And I just took, instead of taking the two and a half points, I just took the Jacksonville Jaguars money line.
7:24Now we are going to go fire some of our favorite, uh, player props this week.
7:29And, uh, first one for me to begin with is, uh, my absolute favorite one is, uh, I mean, I can't, I
7:35actually can't believe that this is how Josh downs is being priced.
7:39I mean, either five and a half receptions or 62 and a half yards.
7:43He is going to be facing primary coverage from a man whose nickname is stand real still.
7:48Uh, the commander's past defense has been brutal, brutal through two games.
7:51And actually, if you look at who, what, if Josh downs becomes like his final evolution, who is he like going to play like?
7:58And it's going to be the guy who destroyed them for 40 fantasy points last week.
8:03Jackson Smith, the chick, but I'm not saying Josh downs is that good.
8:06I'm not saying he isn't that good either though.
8:09Um, I love Josh downs. So Josh downs hires, uh, really interesting thing is he finally has like a real depth, average
8:15depth of target because Keenan and Tyler Warner doing the short area stuff there is his average depth of target starts with
8:22two digits for the first time in his career this year.
8:25Oh, wow. Okay. I did not know that, but yeah, this is just like an easy, uh, just bet the over and close your eyes.
8:32And I love Josh downs this week. It's, uh, don't need to talk too much about it.
8:37Yeah. Uh, and I mean, as, as, as, as you would think, we got the, the boys over here on Mike nuggets,
8:43you know, they're, they're, they're on it. Steichen obviously knows like his offense without Alec Pierce and without Michael Pittman Jr.
8:49Gone, like downs has been the center of what they're doing.
8:52We are going to take starting off our Sunday morning in the London game.
8:56I'm just going to do the 62 and a half receiving yards here for, uh, for my favorite.
9:02And you can take that across the board. I've got that worked in on draft Kings.
9:06I've got that worked in on that three, six, five, but we're just going to fire here on the, uh, the old dog app.
9:13I love it. This is a easy click for me, uh, onto my pick.
9:17Let's go onto the theme of this Jags team.
9:20It's just an absolute wagon. Let's see some props.
9:22I got a nice quote about him. Um, yeah, let's see a little bit more into two.
9:27The Bengals run defense is a lot better than it has in years past.
9:31Uh, but I still just, I just can't stop betting on this Jags team.
9:35Uh, what is his longest rush, uh, rush total?
9:38All right. I'm going to guess, I'm just guessing.
9:40Yeah. This is longest. I'm going to guess longest rush.
9:4316 and a half. Longest rush, 14 and a half.
9:46Yeah. 14 and a half. I think that's all day.
9:49So Liam Cohen on, oh, this was this morning.
9:52Actually, he was kind of talking about how much, much better, uh, tootin has been as a back this year and how
9:58he's been not so much getting to the like first or like getting past to the second level.
10:03Uh, so I kind of think they're going to try to scheme up some things in this game and get him to break one loose.
10:10Cause he's kind of saying like, Hey, he's done everything great, but he hasn't done like the one thing he's really good at is breaking these 60 yarders.
10:18We haven't seen that yet. Uh, so I, I'm going to bet that we see that this week.
10:24Yeah. I love it. And I feel like it's, it's kind of one of those really interesting things that happens with guys like tootin.
10:31Like, um, do you like the, the favorite stat that everyone loves right now is he hasn't had any rushes longer than 15 yards.
10:37And you know what? That's that stat really reminds me of how, for the first two years of B.
10:43John Robinson's career, the stat was, you know, B.
10:45John Robinson, he's just great player, but he doesn't have any plays over 30 yards in his NFL career.
10:51And then obviously in year three, it's just like 60 yard touchdown, 70 yard touchdown, 80 yard touchdown.
10:56Like no one can stop him. And not that, not that by shell tootin is as good as B.
11:02John Robinson. Again, not saying he's not either. I think, I think that tootin is, is like, you know, I'm like my
11:08like redraft stuff, like rest of season rankings. I have him like way higher than consensus because he's producing right now with the Jags playing four running backs.
11:16I don't, I think in like serious games like this against the team, uh, you know, that is really good.
11:22And, and that this, this result by the way, will matter for potential like playoff tiebreaker type stuff.
11:27I think the Jags are going to go all in here.
11:30I think we probably get like two, 22 touches in this game.
11:34So I love this one. Yeah. Just the coach speak around him had just like slowly and slowly got it more and
11:40more positive as the season has gone on. And yeah, I really like tootin this week.
11:44I think there's a lot of reasons to think why he can get, you know, a 15 yard rush, uh, even though he hasn't had that this year.
11:52Yeah. I, uh, I love that. Okay. All right.
11:55My next one. I mean, I, you know, it, it, people, people hate talking about the bears receivers.
12:00All anyone wants to talk about is Kali Freeman.
12:03I actually kind of think that this stuff is getting ridiculous because Luther burden is having a totally fine start to the
12:09year, but you would think the way people are talking about this guy that he's having like Marvin Harrison juniors start to the season.
12:16Uh, this dude had 11 targets, had a designed touchdown, like specifically for him last week.
12:21I'm going to take the 46 and a half receiving yards.
12:24I do think probably, I actually think Baygent will probably start this game.
12:28Um, I, I, you know, of course, uh, Ben Johns, I mean, this is classic football guy stuff.
12:33Hasn't been willing to say who is going to start, but I do think it will probably be Baygent, which is fine by me.
12:40You know, I think Baygent is going to do, a really similar thing to case Keenum.
12:44Like he's just going to, he's going to point and deliver, right?
12:48I mean, that is why the offense looked a little bit more like a normal NFL offense last week.
12:53Cause although, you know, the case Keenum stuff, it was a fun game and everything.
12:58He had two passes that the defender had been a little bit more locked in.
13:02Those are going for six the other way. Like it was not like case Keenum had the greatest game anyone's ever seen.
13:08No, I think people forgetting that. I think he was like really testing the out routes on Monday.
13:13And yeah, I personally think we see Tyson, but I don't think that really matters for, for burdens, yards or receptions or any of his props.
13:21Yes. Um, all right. Give me a fourth one.
13:23Cause I've, I've realized this with doing three, the, the highest EV, um, stuff you can do on underdog, assuming all the
13:30picks are from different games is the, the flex four.
13:33So, uh, we, I, I, I, I had known that, but had forgot to, uh, to put that in play.
13:38So, uh, give me a, give me another one you want to look at.
13:42Okay. Are we going to do like a four legger and then like a more degenerate?
13:47Yes. Okay. We will get more degenerate. Okay. I will give you a little bit safer as they call it.
13:53Let me see Bucky Irving's props. Okay. Uh, Bucky, or I bet they're going to be fairly low.
13:58Yeah. These are, these are really in the context of Bucky Irving.
14:01These are not particularly high. Yeah. I am good with any of these, whether it's rush yards or longest rush, I would
14:08like to pick your brain on that, but basically Zach Robinson came out yesterday and said like, Hey, uh, we want to
14:14get Kenny Gainwell more involved, but he hasn't really proved to us that he's worth the touches and Bucky's kind of been balling out.
14:21So to me, uh, if you go to that second, um, if you, uh, type in Kenny Gainwell, Gainwell, cause it was,
14:27it was a quote about Kenneth Gainwell, but then he talks a little bit more about Bucky, but, uh, yeah, that second quote right there.
14:34Uh, if chat wants to read it or if you want to read it, but to me that reads as like, Hey, Bucky Irving's been outstanding.
14:42We know we have Kenny Gainwell. He has to prove to us that he has to get on the field before we take some touches away from Bucky.
14:50So, uh, given that you now have a much more mobile QB, I know Jalen Daniels is in like some superstar world
14:56beater in terms of his legs, but I really think, uh, just given the state of the Packers defense and the game
15:03plan, the Bucks are going to approach with, they're just really, really, really going to try to establish around this game.
15:09And, uh, 55 yards seems a little bit tad low.
15:12Why don't we just do, why don't we just do the rushing attempts?
15:15I mean, yards yards is fine too, but I actually completely agree with your analysis there.
15:20I think, look, I would love for Jalen Daniels is awesome in this game.
15:24I don't think he is going to be, I think it would be really cool.
15:28It'd be a cool story if he was, but I, and I, I actually liked that quote a good bit because the
15:35playing time between Bucky and Gainwell was like, obviously, I mean, a huge discussion point for all of us this off season.
15:41I mean, Gainwell, they get paid a good bit of money, but they really haven't used him at all.
15:46And then Bucky was not out there for the final drive.
15:50And there was like a little bit of, uh, of coach speak about it being like Bucky messed up, like a pass protection thing or whatever.
15:57But again, we're not really worried about that in this game.
16:00Cause we're anticipating the Buccaneers trying to actually keep this one on the ground, um, as much as possible.
16:06So we're going to do that. And then if I do flex for 75 bucks, that gets us to a flex for, for play for up to 500.
16:14Oh, I've reached my, I've already reached my limit.
16:16I'm limited. I'm limited on by shell toot. And how many props have you taken on him this week, buddy?
16:22Like that's a lot. Apparently let's see, let's see the lowest amount I can do for this.
16:27Okay. All right. I'm subbing out. I'm subbing out.
16:30We can audible on this one. We got an audible because I apparently, apparently I've been limited on by shell.
16:35Um, this is so actually, I'm going to leave this for the, for the more of the general play, but let me see some neighbors props.
16:43Um, I know the game environment could be kind of good 50.
16:46God, I don't want to bet. I was going to 54 is high.
16:50Yeah. I wasn't, I was going to advocate for a lower on him just given he came on the mic yesterday and
16:56basically said like, yeah, I don't trust my needs still.
16:59Like this is, I don't, I don't feel good.
17:02And just given how we've seen James Winston play, like, I think there's like an off chance that this dude's, uh, arm
17:08is just shot, but just betting under 54 yards for, for someone like Malik neighbors does not feel good.
17:14I don't want to advocate that for the viewers.
17:16It looks like you have something, something in mind.
17:19I do. I do got this one. Uh, we're just going to swap out by shell tootin for Jeremiah fantasy points, 13.55.
17:25This is one of my, this is one of my biggest stances this week in the, um, in the BRs and, and in draft Kings.
17:32I mean, he's $5,800 on draft Kings, but I think they showed us last week that like it's, it's go time.
17:38They took him, you know, third overall for a reason.
17:41And the thing that I think was a little bit missed in the, the Tyler algae or tilt the first couple of
17:47weeks of the season was this dude was coming off of a high ankle sprain.
17:52Like we had kind of gotten forgotten because he just played in week one and then, you know, didn't limp off the
17:58field or anything, but I think he's probably just fully healthy to go here.
18:02And this is a game like they can just win.
18:05They can just win this game. Like they're like, this is going to be a totally competitive game.
18:10So we're going to go 13.55 fantasy points and then hope that I'm okay.
18:14Now I'm, now I'm location limited. We're having a, we're having a, we're having a tough time.
18:19I mean, this does, this does happen to me every so often, but, uh, I mean, yeah, where are you, where are
18:25you at on Jeremiah love and the BRs and stuff this week?
18:29Yeah, I was fading. So I've only done 30 so far and I did some before, uh, the ETR projections came out.
18:35Uh, and it was going a little early, uh, for my liking in the week, he was going around like ADP 12.
18:42I will give some context and just like some devil's advocate to, to your thesis is that Michael, Michael floor, uh, again, this was two weeks ago.
18:49So this was not, this was not after last game, but he was really just kind of saying like, this is a long season.
18:56Uh, we kind of just going with the hot hand approach.
18:59Uh, again, this was, this was two weeks ago, so I don't want to read too much into it, but it's just
19:06kind of in the back of my mind. Again, this is since this quote, he has now had, this is from September 18th.
19:12So again, very long ago, uh, since this quote, Jeremiah love has now, uh, a 20 something touch game and, and went off, uh, this past week.
19:20So I don't want to read too much into it.
19:23I just still think there is a slight possibility.
19:26It's still a hot hand approach, not just like a, Oh, this is just Jeremiah loves backfield now.
19:31So, um, not, not that quote doesn't like move me enough for me to like sway off that bed or anything.
19:37I'm just, you know, keep that in the back of my mind, but, uh, yeah, I just think they, you know, if
19:43the coaches are smart, they should just feed the fuck out of this guy.
19:47He's clearly their best back and they can definitely beat the giants this week.
19:51Uh, we're just leaning on that run game. So I think they're, they might even be, I think there may be even favorites in this game.
19:59It's in New York. So I would be shocked that their favorites, um, or let me look for you.
20:04I got you. NFL lines. I think they, they are.
20:07Okay. Wow. They are. They are. They're two and a half point favorites.
20:11Two and a half point favorites in, uh, in New York.
20:14That is crazy, man. All right. Isn't it insane?
20:16Um, yeah, if that's the case, yeah, let's, let's lean into this Jeremiah.
20:20I love, uh, usage from last week and let's just ignore the quote from two weeks ago.
20:25They must be, they must just be telling us that, um, um, James Winston is just shot.
20:30He's just, he's just, he's just completely cooked. I bet we see JJ start by week nine.
20:35Yeah. Oh, God damn it. I didn't mean to do that, but, but, uh, yes, I think after their buy, they go
20:41like Texans week seven, I think a buy in week eight.
20:44And then I wouldn't be shocked if we saw JJ then.
20:48All right. Well, I have to figure out my location stuff.
20:51So let's talk about your, uh, let's talk about your BR sweat from last week while I try to figure out the, uh, the location stuff.
20:58So shipped 50 K in the main BR Purdy Gibbs cook, Garrett Wilson, scroll the F down for Michael Wilson, George Kittle.
21:04Uh, I mean, right. I, what, bro, I mean, talk me through your process.
21:09Talk to me how you're, you're drafting these. Talk me through Michael Wilson.
21:12Like, uh, what's your, what's kind of your weekly BR process like?
21:16Yeah. So I kind of have like a similar process as I did with the dog bowl last year.
21:21And like, honestly, thank God there's no dog bowl this year.
21:24Cause I would just be funding this money every week, trying to get a ticket.
21:29Um, but from like the top down, there's this quote from literally from before the season even started.
21:34It was kind of Michael floor talking about, uh, the zero and his offense and how Puka is kind of like the, the visionary of that.
21:41And obviously Puka or Michael Wilson is not Puka Nakua, but just the way they're deployed, he was kind of comparing them,
21:48uh, to Robert Woods at the past Puka Nakua of last year.
21:51So that was always in the back of my mind.
21:54So I knew coming into the seasons, like, okay, I want to play Michael Wilson at some, some week.
21:59If the ownership like didn't carry over from last year, I know he went off at the end of the last season.
22:06Uh, so like week one against the Chargers is like, no, I don't want this obviously against Seattle week too.
22:12I definitely didn't want it. Week three against the Niners.
22:14We know they're really banged up. This quote has just been in the back of my mind for literally a month and a half now.
22:22It's like, okay, this is a perfect place to play Michael Wilson.
22:25He's going to be a really long guy. The projections were, uh, still good for like a scroll down option in the sixth round in the BR streets.
22:33So, uh, I really just like this game environment in general.
22:36It was my favorite one to attack for the week.
22:39Uh, so yeah, it was just pretty easy decision for me to scroll down there.
22:43So I think there's a 114 Michael Wilson teams drafted in the BR.
22:47Uh, and I think I had like 17 of them.
22:50So I was very, very overweight the field on Michael Wilson.
22:53And I would say probably half of those were correlated, uh, within this game environment.
22:58So this is a nice little, uh, win for the correlation bros.
23:01I have Brock Purdy correlated with obviously kiddle bring back Michael Wilson and then Gibbs bring back with, with Garrett Wilson or
23:07Jameer Gibbs brought back with, uh, Garrett Wilson. So got the Wilson brothers helping me ship 50 K.
23:12And then I also got four plays. So that's not, I don't think that's in the screenshot or in the tweet, but
23:19I had the same exact lineup, uh, just one V one with, uh, Jacobi Brissett instead of Michael Wilson.
23:24So, uh, yeah, obviously you have to run really good.
23:27Like I was fading so many things at the end of the game.
23:31Like I was fading, uh, a lava garbage time.
23:33Chuck was getting there. He ended up throwing two picks.
23:36I was fading like the Cowboys overtime game. And for the first time in my entire life, I was like, rain Dakota Prescott.
23:43I am praying on your downfall. Please throw a fucking pick or something.
23:47So this game ends and thankfully didn't have to throw a pick, which is Brian shot.
23:51And I'm recalling the horrible game at the very end, uh, to help me secure a victory, but I'm pretty sure I don't, I don't win this.
23:59If that game goes into OT, cause there's some, uh, CD and Derek, Derek Henry teams behind me.
24:04Um, but yeah, obviously got lucky and a lot of ways, but also the scroll down felt pretty good this past week.
24:11Uh, then the higher week I didn't hear his name get brought up a single time.
24:15I was like, this is like a very high total.
24:18Like there's expected to be chucking the ball. Like I don't understand it.
24:22So I took a strong stand and thankfully it worked out.
24:25You know, I mean, to some degree, we like to think that like a lot of us like to think like all
24:31fantasy sports are like kind of solved. Everyone just like runs the projections and then, you know, it's just, we, we exist
24:38in one version of the Sims, but in, if you ran this slate over 900 times, you know, our lineups would be
24:44plus EV or whatever, but also people can't help, but be game log bros.
24:48Like if Michael Wilson has not had a good game yet this season, he's just not going to project that well.
24:54And he's not going to get any, and even if he projects fine, if he projects, if, if the wide receiver 35
25:00in a BR slate projects the same as the wide receiver 16, it doesn't matter.
25:05People are still not going to click the guy who hasn't had a good game yet.
25:09Now that Michael Wilson has had a good game, we'll probably, well, and he will probably be clicked for the rest of
25:16the year more often than his projection would indicate.
25:18Right. Um, I mean, that is just, that is just the way that it's just the way things go.
25:24Like they're there. And, and frankly, it's also a format is like, as your results from last week would indicate, it's actually
25:30like a pretty good format for betting your hunches when the rest of the field is not doing it.
25:35Right. So, um, I mean, I haven't, I've, I think I've literally drafted like two this week.
25:40I haven't started drafting any yet, but it's a pretty good format where if, um, I don't know, like, let's say, let's
25:47say you had a hunch this week on Tucker craft or whatever, you know, it's like a pretty good, pretty good week
25:53to do the hunch or, or maybe your, your hunch is, uh, Gadsden gets a bunch of targets with Lad McConkie banged
25:59up or something because people way overdraft the marginal guys, like the quarterback five, the tight end seven, the wide receiver 13, the running back 14.
26:07These guys are way over-owned relative to guys who project effectively the exact same as them.
26:11Yeah. And really just like, I guess it's just like more evergreen.
26:15This goes for like any VR contest, but it really is just like building a strongly projected team, like the first four
26:21to five rounds, and then just kind of scrolling down in a, in a correlated way, uh, to where it makes sense.
26:28Like I wasn't giving up that much projection when scrolling down to Michael Wilson.
26:32Uh, to me, he wasn't that much different than the wide receivers going at the very end of round five and six.
26:38So yeah, just build like strong teams at the beginning and then, you know, tagging on with someone late that still projects well.
26:44So, uh, easier said than done trying to find which player that is, but, uh, it's a pretty good process and just,
26:51you know, build a good team or build a well, well, well correlated and projected team in the first few rounds and then, and then scroll down.
26:59It's something that we've all been advocating for years, but a lot of people still don't do so.
27:04It's pretty, it's pretty simple. Uh, I was, I was, I was able, I was able to figure it out.
27:10I had to open up a different window, but I got it up in, I got us up in, uh, in Firefox.
27:16So here's, uh, here's the pick Jeremiah love higher than 13.55 fantasy points, Josh downs higher than 62 and a half receiving
27:22yards, Luther burden higher than 46 and a half receiving yards, Bucky Irving higher than 13 and a half rush attempts.
27:28We, we got it. We shipped it. We are, we are, we are very happy about where we're at.
27:34Right here. I love it. I feel good about this one.
27:37And now we can go a little bit more degenerate.
27:40I wasn't able to tune into the show last week.
27:43Was your, as is, uh, pick them close to hitting.
27:45I think we had our first two weeks or we hit the first week, right?
27:50And then we hit, we hit, we hit, we hit the first week and we hit the, we, if you flexed it
27:56the, uh, the second week we got it. Um, I mean, obviously I have, uh, a million, uh, picks sitting in here.
28:02So it's hard for me to remember a couple of good ones last night.
28:06Looks like this was one. I don't even remember what that one was.
28:10Uh, man, I maybe should, maybe you should stop doing so many of these.
28:14Uh, I do one a week and it's just the one that we do on the show.
28:19Cause otherwise if I do more than one, it's just going to get way, way too donkey on my end.
28:25So yeah. Uh, you know what? No, we, uh, we didn't get there because this is it right here.
28:30And, uh, which it's whichever one of these $50 ones, but we didn't, Oh, JCM didn't score.
28:35There you go. Oh, is that the Cowboys? Oh yeah.
28:38That's when, um, when Mariota came in and, and, um, yeah.
28:41Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yes. Unfortunately. Uh, all right. So now, now we can donk it up.
28:46We've done, we've done one serious one. Now we can donk it up with an eight legger.
28:51This is going to be gross. I kind of want to tag on to what we just did so we can, uh,
28:57uh, the downs and all that at the very end.
29:00Let me see. God, I can't believe I'm about to say this out loud.
29:04Let me see if there's any Jordan Watkins or Brandon cooks lines.
29:07Um, Watkins for just a touchdown. No, there's no, no.
29:10Okay. If they had like a, uh, I would say Chad, if like either one of those players are aligned, um, early
29:17on Sunday morning, that's something I would look into.
29:19Um, but obviously we can't take any of that right now.
29:22So one, uh, another one I want to see is a span forward, the tight end for the Cowboys.
29:28They should, they should have him there. Yes. All day.
29:31All day. So there has been receiving yards, um, from shoddy from, uh, Clayton Adams, the OC there's just been, uh, this
29:37has just been a drum drum beat over the summer, but they just love this guy, man.
29:42And he's playing a lot of snaps, just given how good his run run blocking is.
29:47Um, and it's now developing more of like a pass game role.
29:50So, uh, I do like just, uh, I don't know if you want to go one reception or four receiving yards or
29:56whichever one you prefer, uh, to me, it's basically the same thing, I guess.
30:00Yes. Um, just slightly better odds for three and a half receiving yards.
30:04Let's slide. Should we slide to nine and a half?
30:07I mean, uh, sure. Like I, I, I, I cannot advocate for it, but just given the coach speak on him, like
30:13it makes me bullish that he's going to get more than, than, uh, four receiving yards.
30:18So. I mean, he had two, he had two for 14 last week.
30:22He had one for 19 in week one. He is legitimately playing, uh, about a court.
30:26I mean, about 33, like about, about a third, about a third of the offensive snaps and his snaps are trending up and Jake Ferguson, I'll do respect.
30:34Not very good. No, he's not very good. He's just fine.
30:37Fumbles every 18 touches. Imagine that. Imagine if you're running back and you fumble.
30:42That's actually great. That's actually a crazy stat. Yeah.
30:44That is, um, that is insane. Uh, all right.
30:47So I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna, if we're, if we're really doing this, I'm taking, uh, Derek Henry to score, to score two tuds.
30:54Okay. I'm taking Derek Henry, not one, but two tuds 3.16 X right there.
30:58I, uh, you know, I don't, I don't, uh, participate.
31:01I don't trade very much on the prediction markets, but the best, uh, the best price out there right now on Derek
31:07Henry, just to score a touchdown period is on call.
31:10She it's like right about like minus 200. So I just unloaded everything I had on my prediction market account on that
31:16for a, for an easy, uh, I guess not a double up, I guess, uh, a 50% up.
31:21I love it. Um, let me see some Kyron reception props.
31:25Dude, he played so good last week. He was okay.
31:28And, uh, the, the offensive coordinator, uh, Nate, uh, Scalahassie or however you say his last name, uh, really came on yesterday
31:34and just like this dude has gotten so much better over the summer.
31:38He really prioritized his past, uh, past catching chops.
31:40Uh, and that the staff just has so much more trust in him this season compared to years, years past.
31:46So, uh, I want to see, yeah, maybe how I kind of like longest reception eight and a half.
31:51Um, that one's a little donkey, but I just want to play something to his receiving yards.
31:56Whether this is receptions, receiving yards, or we'll just do, we'll just do 14 and a half receiving yards.
32:02Cause I actually know from your, from your coworkers, they, uh, Cody Maine referenced this, but the, the, like historically some of
32:08the biggest house edge losing money for is the just total receptions, not receiving yards, but just receptions running backs.
32:14Those are some of the, those are some of the best for the, uh, the sports books.
32:19So we'll just take the, the receiving yards. Yeah.
32:21And I keep on bringing up this coach speak.
32:24If you guys are not familiar with Mike nuggets, it is the fastest by far the fastest coach speaks players, speak GM speak in the industry.
32:31You can get it for nine 99 a month or $99 for the year.
32:35Uh, and we also have like a very good injury tracker.
32:39That's a pretty speedy. And then a bunch of player blurbs.
32:42If you don't want to, uh, look into all the quote feeds, you can just look up a player and see like
32:48more of a summarize version of a bunch of their quotes.
32:51But, uh, I don't want to read out every single quote because some of these are pretty long.
32:56I don't want you guys don't need to hear me read, you know, a minute long quote about Brevin's fan forward, but, uh, yeah, check that out.
33:04If you have not already, uh, we also tweet some of the, some of the clips.
33:09So yeah, check that out. Part of my, part of my information diet for sure.
33:13As I'm going through all these. All right. Uh, so that was Kyron Williams receiving yards.
33:18I want to scroll through the games here. Oh, but I want to see money lines.
33:22And so we just go into the pile into the Jags.
33:25Oh yeah, we can pile into the Jags. Let's toss in.
33:29Let's toss in the Jags to win at 2.2 X.
33:32That's a nice little one. I want to see what is available for Caleb Johnson in this game.
33:37I want to see if there's rushing attempts. So that's the rushing yards.
33:40I want to see rushing attack eight and a half.
33:43I mean, I know they're going to run in this game and I know that they are going to try and establish
33:50the Caleb Johnson, but I just don't think they're going to be able to do it against the Buccaneers.
33:55Yeah. I, Michael floor was saying yesterday, like, Hey, we need to start establishing the run, but you and I both know that ain't fucking happening this week.
34:03Uh, maybe next week we can look into it next week.
34:06Yeah. Not this week. Um, yeah, I was going to have to veto that one.
34:11There's no way I was going to be comfortable with that.
34:14Uh, if you want to take the neighbors under, I'd be fine doing that in this donkey parlay again, 54 yards for
34:20neighbors is just, yes, is that does not feel good, but just, I think there's a couple different outs, whether that's just
34:26him not being fully healthy, which he has said multiple times.
34:30And then Jim is being cooked, uh, with his arms.
34:32So yeah, well, I just, let's get a kind of walking one every single week, man.
34:37It's just every week. I mean the Kenneth Walker, he's very similar to Derek Henry.
34:41The dude just starts the game with a, with a rushing touchdown.
34:45Uh, this is actually a good question. Uh, I, I think T Ferg is going to miss this week, but I think
34:51he's going to come back next week and start firing.
34:54I mean, it's like pretty clear. He's a huge part of their game plan.
34:58The usage week one was weird, but the whole team's everything was weird week one, you know, and the, the injury dudes
35:04on Twitter keep saying that Puka has a sports hernia and that he has the, he has the ability to re injure it.
35:11So I don't know anything about that, but if that's true, you're going to feel really dumb dropping T Ferg instead of Makai Lemon.
35:18I want to bring up a, uh, a little stat on, uh, Kenneth Walker.
35:22So there's been something like ongoing coach speak about Emmett Johnson, you know, working more in, uh, into the offense, but I
35:28just wanted to make some, put some context into that.
35:31Uh, this is from my boy, Mark, they can bring over out of Stavis.
35:35We're on the chiefs backfield split through the first three games.
35:38When the chiefs aren't leading by 10 points, Kenneth Walker has 58 carries, 17 targets.
35:43Emmett Johnson has eight carries two targets. And then when the chiefs are leading by 10 points, Kenneth Walker has seven carries one target.
35:50Emmett Johnson has eight carries two targets. So in a divisional game that you may expect to be a little bit closer,
35:56uh, than a normal game would, uh, you can probably just kind of mentally know like, okay, we might see a little
36:02bit more Kenneth Walker in this game. And in games where, you know, uh, you think the chiefs are just going to
36:09roll maybe, you know, not fade him in DFS, but just keep that in mind when you're taking props and whatnot.
36:15So, um, I do believe the spread is it's under a touchdown, right?
36:18Yeah. It's only four and a half, four and a half.
36:22Yeah. So projected to be a closer game. Again, the visual games get really tough and gritty.
36:26So, uh, I do like Kenneth Walker this week.
36:29I just wanted to give some context that if you've seen any Emmett Johnson coach speak on our, on our terminal, uh,
36:35always good to have some context behind it. So.
36:38Yeah. Uh, I want to do 19.15 fantasy points for Brock Purdy.
36:41I actually think this game is going to low key be a banger.
36:45I think both of these teams are going to come out swinging haymakers.
36:49I think it's like a really interesting styles makes fight matchup between the Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers.
36:55No, Mike Evans very likely in this game, but I don't care.
36:58Purdy Purdy is just him, dude. Purdy Purdy. He's like insanely disrespected, but he's so good.
37:03He is. I don't know if it's the draft capital.
37:06I don't know what it is, but the draft capital, but this dude, I mean, he's second in odds and MVP and
37:12now is a good play against this Broncos defense.
37:14If he wins this game, I would probably say put him the favorite over Josh Allen.
37:19Um, just given what, uh, he's able to do without like, just like vulturing, like 10 touchdowns at the goal line.
37:25Um, we did get a 40 yard touchdown last week, man run that got called back from like some BS holding call.
37:31Like it, this dude is playing out of his mind.
37:34He's executing the offense at like unprecedented levels. Matt for not Matt Ryan, Kyle Shanahan asked, was asked about like how he's
37:41seen Purdy's development and how he's been this year.
37:43And he was when I had Matt Ryan in 2016.
37:46Like this dude's playing unreal. I like this game a lot, uh, for DFS, for the BRs.
37:51Like there's a bunch of great scroll down options.
37:54Like Jalen Wattles is a scroll down option this week.
37:56Um, yeah, I just, I'm just glazing party, but yeah, I agree.
38:00I love this. He deserves it. He deserves it.
38:02If Brock, if we got all memory wiped about a, the draft capital is definitely part of it, but if we all
38:09got memory wiped that Jimmy Garoppolo also was top five in the NFL in EPA, when Shanahan was the quarterback, we would
38:15talk about Brock Purdy, the way people talk about Trevor Lawrence or Joe Burrow.
38:19I don't think he would be in the need.
38:22Not even close. Yeah. He wouldn't be in like the Josh Allen Mahomes Lamar conversation, but honestly he's more accomplished than Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.
38:29If you, if you really want to be a hundred about it, I mean, this guy has a MVPs.
38:35Yeah. Okay. Yes. MVP level. Okay. How about this?
38:37How about this? How many people would honestly tell you Brock Purdy is better than Justin Herbert?
38:42Very few people. Brock Purdy is 100% than you expect, but people that's just like an, I don't know, ball taken.
38:48Obviously like, uh, Purdy benefits a ton from having such a great offensive environment and having like one of the best play
38:55callers of all time, but like being able to execute it at the level he does is like the student just gets more athletic every year.
39:02He's putting more zip on the ball this year than he has in years past.
39:06That's something he said that, uh, he said this past week, that's like one of his big off season emphasis, uh, was
39:13to just like put some more zip on the ball.
39:16Um, everything about this guy's game is just like incredible 19 and 19.15 fantasy.
39:20Just like, yeah, just fucking give me the over, man.
39:22Like, I don't need to keep glazing. Like this is well-deserved.
39:26He's my, he's, he's, uh, that's, it's one of the, one of the few things I've ever changed my mind about in
39:32my life was like when the Purdy stuff first came around, I was like, nah, get this guy out of here.
39:38We gotta go. We, we need Trey Lance. And then I was like, you know what?
39:43That's really wrong. Uh, we're, we're not doing that.
39:45Uh, all right, Dave, we need, we need one more.
39:48We need one more leg here, brother. Okay. Uh, and I also just want to note on the Purdy stuff.
39:54Like if you see any Brandon Cooks overs open up Sunday morning, that is something I will happily, uh, explore, but I'll, I'll give you an option here.
40:02Do you want to go between Mekhi Lemon, Sion Bakhi or, uh, Marvin Harrison?
40:06I want to see what Lemon has available. Um, I really like higher than three and a half receptions for Lemon because
40:12he starts the game with one because they will do at least one screen to him that goes for negative three yards.
40:19So he really just needs to get three real receptions over the course of the game.
40:23I do think they're going to be trailing for most of this game.
40:27Uh, also I, I, I almost picked Rams and the points as my, as my favorite pick against the spread.
40:33I was going to advocate for longest reception. Uh, he hit that last week and just like, I'm not, I'm just concerned
40:39about like the offense environment in general, uh, for the Eagles.
40:42So like, I'm not sure if volume is the way I want to approach it.
40:46Uh, again, we don't even have to take Mekhi Lemon.
40:49I'm just throwing names out. It's just like a guy that just continuously just gets more and more and more, more praise.
40:56Vocky here. I have never, again, I've only been like following this coach speak stuff for like a couple of months now.
41:02Uh, I've never seen a player been as glazed as Vocky has between their GM, their OC, their head coach, the players like, you know, the Vocky backstory.
41:10I don't think I do. Will you inform me?
41:13So he was a safety at Utah. They had, they had, they had three running back injuries and they were like, can anyone play running back?
41:20And he's like, I can do it. And then he scored five touchdowns on 50 touches.
41:25His final season had played safety his whole life gets drafted as a running back based off of literally like 70 touches
41:31in college, not a UDFA gets drafted and then makes the team.
41:34And then now is the running back to taking David Montgomery's job.
41:38The team lets David Montgomery go. And it's just the running back to behind you, mirror Gibbs for an NFL team.
41:44He's, he's got like less than a hundred recorded touches as a running back.
41:48It's, it's a really insane story. Yeah. I want his brush and receiving yards.
41:52They're just, they cannot stop talking about this dude's pass protection skills and how amazing he's been, uh, being able to spell
41:58Gibbs, uh, how good of a job he's done on like these underneath couches.
42:02Uh, again, they're playing the Panthers. It's one of the highest scoring game or the highest totals on the slate.
42:08Uh, the Panthers rush defense is definitely not good.
42:11We know he's going to get some carries, uh, to spell off Gibbs, uh, 17 and a half seems a little bit low to me.
42:18So, uh, do you want to add like, uh, what we, I was going to say, we need, we need to do one more.
42:25Cause we have to take the Jags money line out of it or else I can't do the flex.
42:30Okay. Um, we need one more. Do you just want to, I really liked the Josh Downs call or if you want
42:37to do the toot in longest brush. Uh, I honestly say that we should fucking add both of them.
42:42Makes it both flocks. Let's just do, let's just do downs again.
42:46Okay. Downs, downs is just like that's, that's hitting.
42:48Um, there you go. 10 bucks to win, uh, a lot, like 15, like 1500.
42:52Uh, so we have Brevin span forward nine and a half receiving yards, Derek Henry, two tuds Kyron Williams, 14 and a half or more receiving yards.
43:00Malik neighbors lower than 54 and a half receiving yards.
43:03Kenneth Walker to score touchdown Brock Purdy higher 19.15 fantasy points.
43:06Sion Bakke higher than 17 that rushing plus receiving yards and downs higher than 62 and a half receiving yards.
43:12Beautiful. I love it, man. It's beautiful. Um, all right, then we are going to head on over to splash sports here
43:18in one second, but need to remind all of you guys that this show is presented to you by live line IQ.
43:25It's exactly what it sounds like. It is a sports betting application that sends a notification to your phone when the, basically
43:31there's basically when there's an arm spot available in live lines.
43:34They had another one last weekend. I think they've only sent out like five alerts on NFL all year.
43:40All five of them have hit. They're not going to be, there just are not going to be that many live spots
43:46in NFL game where the market is really off.
43:49They've had more available for college football and MLB, but the one last week was a live spot in commander Seahawks, which
43:55did indeed hit because, uh, I mean, partially because the commander's defense is so bad.
43:59Uh, but also shout out to my boy, Jadarian price.
44:02And by shout out to my boy, Jadarian price, I mean, no fucking shout out to my boy, Jadarian price.
44:08Oh dude, he's killing me. He's killing me, Dave.
44:10It's really, really bad. They had some like reassurance this week.
44:14I'm like, we're going to go back to him and like, we, we trust him, but it's so over, bro.
44:19Like sharp just practicing. He hasn't separated for shit.
44:22It's just, it's over. Yeah. Yeah. It's a sharp, sharp, like legitimately a limited practice this week.
44:27It's never been, people are saying it's never been more over.
44:30And those people are right. Uh, which is a bummer because I drafted a bunch of Jadarian price.
44:35It's going to need an injury now, um, which is a bummer.
44:39All right. So we're now going to do survivor.
44:41However, before we, Dave and I obviously, uh, our 10 entries in the, the big splash pool, we cooked them all in week two.
44:48So I, I have two entries left in the one K.
44:51Um, I think you have two entries left as well.
44:54We're going to talk about those in a second, but the first thing we got to do is we're going to talk
45:00about the touchdown survivor, which is about to fill.
45:03Um, so if you guys want in the new touchdown survivor that we're running over on splash, I would go and do it right now.
45:10But, uh, Dave, we got to make two picks in the touchdown survivor this week.
45:15Um, then after this week, it goes down to one pick.
45:18I, I think I'm legitimately taking Derek Henry on, on everyone.
45:21Yeah. Revenge game. I mean, there to be up the entire game.
45:24So, uh, it feels so predatory having Jake Ferguson up here.
45:27Like what the fuck, man? Well, it's just, it's, it's, it's, I know it's the highest.
45:32I know it's the most touchdowns, but it's just, it's just so predatory, man.
45:36He's so asked. Um, yeah, obviously the big dog seems like a borderline lock.
45:40I'd probably fade out on this, um, wait for a different matchup.
45:44Uh, my first thought when looking into this was Chuba, uh, they came out, uh, two days ago and saying like their
45:50run past balance in the end zone has been like way too heavy skewed towards the past this season.
45:55And they want to, you know, ETR a little bit more in the end zone.
46:00Uh, obviously no Jonathan Brooks this week. He's a workhorse, uh, for the Panthers and the highest total game of the week
46:06or one of the highest total games of the week.
46:09So, uh, I was going to advocate for Chuba.
46:11Um, obviously there's a lot more likely options to score this week, but I wanted to hear your thoughts on him.
46:18Um, I don't, I don't, I don't hate Chuba.
46:20Um, I will say based on, on my experience of doing this, this is it teams die even faster than a regular survivor.
46:27Okay. So you might not even need to be that aggressive.
46:30You don't, you now week three, good, good time to start doing that because so like, I'm trying to think of like the right way to explain this.
46:38So like the concept of like the chargers losing to the Raiders is like, that just happens all the time.
46:44Like Jameer Gibbs just like won't score a touchdown in like three games this year.
46:48You know, that's just the way it'll go. And those weeks, like I, I believe in the OG touchdown survivor.
46:54I think 85% of the field is already gone in week three.
46:57Okay. Like it, like the teams just get the, you just get dusted off super fast.
47:02So I'm going to do Henry and I'm going to do, you know what, since, since I'm with my boy Dave right
47:08here, I'm going to take, I'm going to take, I'm going to take Javante.
47:12I do think, uh, I do think he's a pretty good bet for a touchdown this week.
47:17And that was saying like, Hey, like once we get to the end zone, like we, like last was, this is particular
47:23to like last week against the Ravens. He's like, Hey, we were like running the ball.
47:28Well, and then like, when we got to the end zone, we just like forgot to run the ball and we need
47:34to do more of that in the future. So a little bit of a squeaking, uh, wheel narrative, uh, for Javante, uh,
47:41the total surprisingly like high, it's like 48 and a half, 47 and a half.
47:45So, um, I really liked that game for the BR streets, uh, like tagging on CJ Stroud Schultz, uh, just to get off on a tangent.
47:52But yeah, if you're, if you're doing any of those drops this week, let's do, and then let's just do one that
47:59is just as easy as it gets. Let's just do Henry Walker and then Josh Allen as the, uh, as the alt
48:05there worth, worth noting, uh, passing touchdowns, obviously do not count, but I, I just think I have, I mean, just now
48:11with all of these entries, I, my, my largest wager this week will be on Derek Henry scoring a touchdown.
48:17So if Derek Henry rolls his ankle, uh, in, in the first quarter, I mean, you're going to, you're going to find
48:24me down, uh, lots of us dollars this week, Dave.
48:26A nice, uh, a nice use Kia on the big dog to score against his former team.
48:31Uh, I saw some ridiculous that I don't know who it was from, but it's like Derek Henry splits against the AFC South versus not the AFC South.
48:39And it's just like two X is production everywhere else.
48:42And obviously that has to do with him playing an AFC South for so long.
48:47The teams were just so, so, so bad when he said there, but I like this narrative, man.
48:52Like it, it kind of reminds me of like the IQ bell curve meme where it's like, just spent the Eric Henry score.
48:58And then you got the middle guy just giving you a bunch of reasons why not to.
49:03And then, yeah, just Derek Henry, just it's a lock.
49:06It is. It is a lock. Um, trying to think anyone else like Walker, Henry Gibbs, McCaffrey.
49:11I would say if you are in the touchdown survivor this week, I wouldn't get any fancier than like my pool of
49:17guys would be like Henry cook McCaffrey Walker, probably about the fanciest I would get would be Aaron Jones.
49:23That's probably about as fancy as I would get.
49:25I wouldn't do Deandre Swift. I think you could do, but I wouldn't even do like Braylon Allen who has like a
49:32pretty good, um, projection or whatever, but like, even that is like a little fancy.
49:36Can I still sign up for this? Is this open?
49:39Yes. I mean, I think there's literally, yeah, there's like, there's like a hundred spots left.
49:43Um, I'm gonna put my money where my mouth is in, uh, here I will, uh, I will share the contest.
49:50I will put this, the link to this is in the chat and then I will put this in or I'll just text this link to you.
49:57There you go. All right. So it's in the chat if you guys want to sign up.
50:02Um, and then frankly, this one, I I'd love to say that this, that we're going to last, this will probably be done by like week nine.
50:10So we will probably run, we will probably run another one of these.
50:14Um, like we did, we did an EPL survivor and it literally finished in the fourth week for goals or just, just picks, just, just picks.
50:21But you're if a draw, a draw was no good.
50:24So they had to win. Okay. Okay. They had to win.
50:27Um, but yeah, like I, I just, I I'm very much enjoying the, uh, the survivor content.
50:32Speaking of which we got to make, uh, our, our survivor picks this week, all of our entries dusted off, but we still have some to talk about.
50:40I will say for me this week, I it's pretty easy to me.
50:44This is like one of the more straightforward weeks we've had on the season.
50:48It's, it's super straightforward, except you have to decide, can you trust the Vikings or do you just hold hands with everyone else and take the Baltimore Ravens?
50:56You know, I only have two entries left. Like we've done great on tickets on this show.
51:01We've done great on, on BR stuff, you know, survivor.
51:04We have not done so hard. So like take all this, but given that I only have two entries left, I'm going to play it relatively safe.
51:11Uh, if I'm not choosing the Vikings or the Ravens, I think I would scroll down, uh, to Seattle who, I mean,
51:18their best next matchup is week nine against Arizona, but that's a, that's a divisional game.
51:22Those gets a little dicey here and there, uh, week 10 against Vegas.
51:26And then probably the one you really want to save it for is like week 14 against the giants.
51:32So, um, yeah, between those three is probably what I'm going to narrow my pull to.
51:36Um, and then if not, uh, maybe Packers against the bucks, it doesn't feel good, but, um, yeah, I, those are my
51:43four, four main options for this week, but I'm honestly probably just going to go one of Ravens or Minnesota.
51:48So honestly, I am, I am not going to play Minnesota once, uh, in this week, because I think it is a marginal enough spot with the Vikings.
51:56I look, I just bet on the Vikings minus 10 half points.
52:00Obviously I think that I think they're just going to actually steamroll here, but it's one of the few spots.
52:06I would actually consider this, the same people who are watching our show saying, I can't believe these absolute jabronis are taking the chargers.
52:12Don't they know ball? Can't they watch the games?
52:15I would honestly consider it to be a spot like that, where if you told me the Vikings just have a total
52:21off the rails, they can't do anything on offense.
52:24Kyler's getting sacked. Aaron Jones has a bad fumble.
52:27I'd be like, yeah, you know what? Makes sense, man.
52:29Makes sense that the Minnesota Vikings, they just, it's all a mess.
52:33Like ownership is fighting with the coach and like, ah, like all this stuff.
52:37I'd be like, yeah, you know what? Makes sense.
52:40If you told me the Ravens lost to the Titans, I w I would not believe you.
52:44Even if you were from the future, I'd be like, nah, no chance, dude.
52:48No way they lose. No way they lose. I don't see a single pat Lamar would have to get injured in game.
52:55I think that's it. Yeah. Um, I agree with you.
52:58The floor on the Vikings is obviously so much lower, but you know, devil's advocate.
53:02Uh, actually, I don't know before you think the, the, the offense or the Titans are better.
53:07I think the Titans have more NFL talent on the team one through 53, but I think Malik Willis is better than cam Ward.
53:14God, man. He's, he's like one of like the least slandered first overall picks I've seen in my life.
53:19Um, yeah, I saw, I saw a really good tweet about cam Ward that like, he's, he's a good old fashioned bus,
53:26like the type of bus you don't even remember.
53:28Like when he's out of the league in five years, we won't even be like, remember when the Titans had like, remember Jake Locker?
53:35I bet you, I bet you don't because he just was so forgettable.
53:39Like that's going to be the cam Ward style bus.
53:42The Titans are picking a quarterback this year. Uh, so yeah, anyways, uh, to my point, yeah, the, the floor on the
53:48Vikings is so much lower and, uh, for my safety and just so I can have a sweat on the ongoing weeks, I'll, I'm probably just going Baltimore.
53:56Uh, I will know if they're like the best, like the most optimal matchups they have coming up.
54:01Uh, you know, they have next week against Atlanta week six against Cleveland week 11 against Carolina.
54:06So they do have a lot of good spots in the future weeks.
54:10Uh, but there are also some other teams are going to pivot to on, on, on those weeks.
54:15So if I was going to take, uh, if I was going to take a, um, ran, like if I was going
54:21to get fancy with a low on team, it would be the, uh, it would be the Colts this week.
54:27That would be, that would be my fancy play.
54:30No one's taking them right there. They're in London.
54:32It's 830. It's, uh, like I, I would say 1% is probably even high in terms of their projected ownership.
54:38Um, I don't think they have a ton of like future utility.
54:41They play in, um, like a, uh, I guess they do get to play the Titans, uh, a couple of times.
54:48So, so those are, uh, good spots for them, but the Colts are like a pretty marginal team, like probably like a nine win team.
54:55Um, they, they're not going to be favored by a ton against anyone, but this is a chance to fade Mariota at
55:01Dan Quinn and all time donkey, but by the way, like an all time, like he does not maximize, uh, win shares really at all.
55:08And the commanders are coming off a huge win where they just stole everyone's money against the Seahawks last week.
55:14So that's going to be playing into people's memories as well.
55:17But yeah, Colts Colts, I think would be my fancy play.
55:20I will know. I like your Seahawks angle though.
55:23Yeah. I will note that the Colts do have a nice week 10 matchup.
55:27They get a Miami at home, uh, seven point favorites.
55:30Um, but there's also plenty of good options in week 10.
55:33You have the Rams that are 11 point favorites.
55:36You have the bills. There are seven point favorites against the jets chiefs five points against, against the Falcon.
55:41So, uh, if you do decide to use the Colts, uh, I would imagine they're pretty chalky week 10.
55:46Uh, you do have some other options. Yeah. I mean, honestly, I would say my review of taking survivor pretty seriously this
55:53year and getting kicked in the teeth in week two and, and frankly, just survivor content as a whole, like becoming its own thing.
56:00Hmm. My biggest, biggest takeaway is that unique paths and fading the chalk and X, Y, and Z early in the season,
56:06you are kind of just fucking yourself. And I think we've already seen it with the quarterback injuries.
56:11I think the quarterback injuries are the big understated thing with all of this, which is, Hey man, guess what?
56:17If Joe Burrow gets hurt, gets hurt, all of your Bengals future value, Jared Goff gets hurt.
56:22Your lions future value is, is new. Jordan love gets hurt.
56:25And, and we also know, I mean, 64 quarterbacks started a game last year, like quarterback injuries happen way more often than you would think.
56:32And they're not always season ending, but like what happens if, okay, I'm saving the bears, uh, the bears get, I don't know the bears play the dolphins.
56:40I don't even know if they do, but just imagine, but, Oh, uh, well they're starting case Keenum and they're actually only
56:47favored by two and a half at Miami. And it's like, okay, well am I taking the case Keenum bears favored by two and a half at Miami?
56:55My whole season was planned around that. So that is, I think one of just the interesting things like, and obviously part
57:01of that is a little bit hindsight because we got burnt when we could have just taken the 49ers.
57:06Um, but I, I do live and you learn.
57:09I do think the, uh, the, the LOL, no way they lose bros.
57:13I would say right now, I would say those bros are winning right now.
57:17I would say they're winning right now. There's some of that that you have to, you know, kind of play for in survivor.
57:23It's just like, again, it's just like the IQ bell curve meme.
57:27Um, a little side note, I will, I just saw this pop up on the Mike nuggets injury feed.
57:32Uh, Keenan Allen, uh, has a groin issue is questionable for Sunday.
57:36So a little bit more equity on that. Josh downs over, uh, that we took earlier.
57:40There you go. That's beautiful. Um, all right, man.
57:43Do you have any, do you have any final thoughts on, uh, on survivor?
57:47No, I think, uh, like I said earlier, it was a little, a little bit more straightforward week, uh, than weeks past.
57:53Uh, thankfully we don't have to gallobrine ourselves into, into the chargers.
57:57So. All right. Well, let's finish it with this right here.
58:00I mean, the legend himself, let's rip a BR and then we will, uh, we will, we will ship our way out of here.
58:07We are drafting fourth. I've literally only drafted three of these.
58:10Okay. Um, can you just scroll down to the board?
58:13I want to see how much the ADP has changed since, um, since I stopped on Wednesday.
58:18Yes. Yes, I can. Uh, it looks like the turn is Alan Bowers.
58:22I would have, I would have, Oh yeah. I mean a lot of puka this week.
58:26I would have like no Josh Allen at this price.
58:29Honestly, I'll probably have legit zero, um, scroll running backs.
58:32I mean, really good. Javon say looks really good.
58:34Braylon Allen looks phenomenal. Bucky man. 35. That's, that's my, might be my Michael Wilson play for, for this week.
58:40We'll see. Um, wow. Okay. So like when I was doing this contest earlier in the week, we, I was getting puka
58:47and the twenties chase Brown in the late twenties.
58:49Um, this ADP has shifted quite a bit. Uh, obviously puka with the injury news, but I'm shocked to see chase Brown
58:55has gone up like, you know, a whole round.
58:58Uh, I imagine that's the, the fault of my, of my colleagues, but yeah, that's, that's all.
59:03That's definitely awesome. Shout out to us. The run.com.
59:06Yeah. Um, but yeah, to me, this week's a little bit more fun than last week.
59:10I felt last week, if I didn't get one of Gibbs, Henry Walker or CMC, I was kind of like drawing dead.
59:16So I felt, um, obviously Jason almost ended up getting there at the end.
59:20Uh, but the tier of running backs last week felt so strong this week.
59:25Uh, you got a lot more options in round one to me.
59:28So, um, we'll see what, what be more Ravens does.
59:31I imagine he goes to a cent. Yeah. Figured.
59:33I will say, we'll say CMC. If, uh, he's there at five, I really just like, we both love the game.
59:39Oh, come on, dude. Got it. Got to do Henry over CMC.
59:43Oh, okay. Okay. I was, I was just assuming that Henry would go, would go three.
59:48Okay. That's, that's an easy, nice little fall for us with one pick of, of ADP value.
59:52Um, yeah, I mean, I was just, I was saying that, assuming that Henry was like a lock to go three.
59:58Thank you. Thank you. What do you, what do you think about, uh, what do you think about Bowers with the seven
60:05overall ADP that to me doesn't feel great actually.
60:07Um, I just like the scroll down options at running back and wide receiver this week.
60:12So just like from a structure standpoint, I like going one of the elite tight ends, uh, whether that's Bowers McBride or
60:18Kittle, like last week I had like about 70% of my exposure on, on Kittle or McBride.
60:23It will probably be something very similar this week, just because I don't love the scroll down options at tight end.
60:29And I really liked the, the options at, uh, uh, at flex.
60:33So, uh, I'm good with either Puka or, or McBride here, whatever you like.
60:37I like Puka because I bet that his ADP, like if, uh, McVay comes out today and says, Oh dude, he's good to go.
60:44I mean, he looks, dude, we just had, we just had a pushup contest, man.
60:48Like Puka, he's good to go. Like I, I think he's going to end up higher.
60:53I actually don't hate the scrolls at tight end.
60:55I don't hate Brenton. I like Schultz and strange a lot.
60:58Just given like the game environments, I like Hunter Henry, but, uh, I just like the, especially like the matchups, like I,
61:05like at least the giants for McBride being a favorite.
61:07And then I know Bowers is, you know, I believe in Spags being able to like scheme him up and, and whatnot.
61:14But I mean, he's just like straight up a wide receiver one out there.
61:18So I don't ever want to fade him like based off of a matchup concern.
61:22Um, again, I probably have my portfolio will have like one of these elite tight ends.
61:27And then the other half, I will have like guys like Schultz and strange and Hunter Henry and guys like that at the end.
61:34So, um, James Cook falling quite a bit. That's, that's a nice GM, GM, a true, a true two percenter, Tyler Higby.
61:40That's a good one as well. Yeah. Uh, I might have to tout a little bit of Higby there in the last round.
61:47I really don't mind it. Um, we got your boy Jeremiah love there.
61:50We got, uh, Chase Brown. Honestly, I would take, I would take P wash here.
61:55Yeah. Let's go P wash. Like again, the Jacks have not been pushed in like in a serious manner at all the season.
62:01If there's a scenario where they have to drop back, like, I don't know, 40 times, it's going to be quite the fantasy game for P wash.
62:09Uh, I imagine DJ Turner is going to be following BTJ whenever he's on the field.
62:14And won't be on the, uh, moving into the slot much.
62:17So yeah. Uh, P wash is a smash this week.
62:20I obviously like him a ton. P wash has the, the usage of like a, like a wide receiver one, like his,
62:26like his, like a dot, uh, target share, all that stuff is like, it's like the same as like Justin Jefferson, you know?
62:33I mean, it's actually, it's actually kind of wild.
62:35Um, how do you feel about like, would you do Lawrence or Stafford here, or what are we doing?
62:41A naked quarterback. Yeah, we can, we can pull, let's grab T law.
62:44I think he's like one of our, like their first or second projected, uh, QB on the slate this week.
62:50Uh, not first. Definitely. I take my boy love.
62:53Yeah. I just give him the, the fallen Valley.
62:55Let's take love. And then we can kind of pencil in, uh, T law on the back end.
63:01And if you want to get like really cute and do like, you know, T law throws for four touchdowns and two
63:07of them go to strange and two of them go to Washington.
63:10We can stack that up. Uh, is sexy. We can get in there late.
63:14If you want to scroll down on tight end, we don't have to, you know, force the game environment stuff, but just, just throwing out options.
63:22Yeah. Yeah. A hundred percent. Um, I mean, dude, I think maybe I don't even have to draft that many.
63:28Maybe I don't even have to max. If like, we just draft the shipper first time.
63:32I mean, Eric Henry, who can a cool P wash?
63:35Jeremiah. Love those are like all my favorite plays.
63:38Just knocking them out. One, two, three. I will say I have a team with CMC, Henry and Puka.
63:43Uh, so that's, that's pretty naughty. I'm excited to see how that one does come.
63:47That's the, that's the, you know, you do give up some equity drafting on Monday and Tuesday.
63:52Cause you just don't know about some of that stuff, but you are also able to get, um, some CLV on.
63:58And again, the CLV, the CLV doesn't really matter for the six man contest.
64:02Like it's so many ways, but in the scenario where like both CMC and Henry, uh, which already is like a GM
64:09GM, uh, or like battling each other for RB one.
64:12And then Puka just drops like a nuke. Uh, I would imagine it's pretty hard to get all three of those.
64:18Now, uh, given the environment. So, um, yeah, I think this next pick, we can go T law and then we can
64:24do our scroll down option, uh, at tight end, whether that's Schultz or Higby or, or strange.
64:29Again, we're constructing like a well correlated, well projection team in the first couple of rounds.
64:33And then this last round, uh, we're just going to scroll down a bit.
64:37So obviously you don't want to give up like eight points of projection when you're scrolling down, but you know, the trade-off
64:44between like Travis Kelsey and Schultz might only be like one, two, three points.
64:48I think it's, it's, I think it's literally like a point and a half.
64:52Yeah. Yeah. So it's really not that big of a deal.
64:55So again, I know like you, uh, if you're not usually in the BR streets, you kind of just want to be anchored to ADP.
65:02We've been taught all over the summers, like respect the market and whatnot, but in these specific contests, you're more, more than okay.
65:09Just scrolling down and ignoring the projections. Um, just don't get too crazy.
65:13So, uh, yeah, Schultz Higby or strange will be my option.
65:16Whatever you prefer. Uh, I probably just need Schultz cause you really have to hit like a, like a 99th percentile outcome
65:22to get like the double stack to get there.
65:25You would probably need two touchdowns from strange and, and Parker Washington, which can definitely happen this week.
65:30Um, but yeah, Schultz or stranger are my options here.
65:33Yeah. You know what? Let's do it. We're going to take Dalton Schultz.
65:36First team drafted Trevor Lawrence, Derek Henry, Jeremiah love Puka Nakua, Parker, Washington, Dalton Schultz, a great Friday show here with my goat.
65:43Dave got a bunch of picks props survivor fired.
