Player insights

29

A.J. Brown

NegativeValue15:02

A.J. Brown is a polarizing dynasty asset. While one Applepay. Apply views him as a 'burn your face off' producer for the next two years in tandem with Drake Maye, another Applepay. Apply suggests it is an optimal time to sell due to his age (28) and the fact that he is on his third team, signaling the tail end of his value curve.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

PositiveSleeper44:23

Adonai Mitchell is highlighted as a favorite handcuff and a potential forgotten man in fantasy drafts.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveUsage5:32

Breece Hall is considered one of the best PPR running backs in the league. The analysts believe he could benefit significantly from mediocre quarterback play and a reset Jets offense, potentially bouncing back into the top tier of dynasty assets.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeInjury45:38

Chris Bell is potentially injured and may not be fully ready to start the season, which creates a temporary opportunity for teammates like Malik Washington.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeProjection23:53

DJ Moore is viewed with caution regarding his long-term dynasty viability. While he could have a productive season, there is skepticism about the consistency of the Buffalo offense as a feeder for a single receiver, leading to a lower ranking compared to younger assets.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout42:43

DJ Moore could have a massive season due to an unstructured quarterback situation that allows him to rely on his athleticism rather than needing perfect route nuance.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveUsage23:32

Dalton Kincaid is a featured piece of the Bills' offense with impressive efficiency numbers when targeted. However, he must prove he can stay healthy to reach his full potential in the tight end premium format.

Insight page
PositiveProjection68:39

Dalton Kincaid is a strong candidate to finish as a top-five tight end this season, supported by positive underlying metrics and his role within the offense.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeProjection5:37

De'Von Achane is ranked lower than his previous standing because the Dolphins' offense is projected to struggle significantly, potentially ranking in the bottom five for points per game. Despite his individual talent and PPR utility, the team context is a major concern.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection2:38

Drake Maye is ranked as the number two dynasty asset in the AFC East, sitting in a tier of his own alongside Josh Allen. The analysts view him as a top-tier talent who could potentially challenge for the overall QB1 spot in Superflex dynasty rankings if he has a strong upcoming season.

Insight page

Elijah Moore

NegativeBust47:21

Elijah Moore is cited as an example of a player who had a brief flash of fantasy relevance with the Jets but has produced nothing of note since.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveUsage9:05

Garrett Wilson is a high-end dynasty asset who demands a high target share. Despite potential target competition from new additions, he is expected to remain a focal point of the Jets' offense, with analysts noting he has already proven he can produce at a high level even with inconsistent quarterback play.

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveProjection25:18

Geno Smith is considered a bonafide starter in Superflex formats. Analysts believe he can be a reliable QB2 in startup drafts, especially if the Jets' offense improves around him.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

PositiveSleeper31:52

Greg Dulcich is highlighted as a 'truther' sleeper pick. With a vacant tight end role in Miami, he is viewed as a potentially profitable asset despite the coaching change.

Insight page
NegativeValue44:03

Greg Dulcich is a late-round tight end option who can be drafted as a backup or a secondary tight end if a manager already secured a starter like George Kittle.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

PositiveValue52:23

Hunter Henry is considered tremendously undervalued and a reliable 'zero tight end' hero. He maintains a strong off-field relationship with Drake Maye, which could translate to on-field production, making him a solid points-printing option for fantasy managers.

Insight page

Isaiah Davis

PositiveUsage48:46

Isaiah Davis is described as 'electric' and is reportedly pushing for the number two running back role. He is considered a better player than Braylon Allen, with performance metrics supporting his potential impact when on the field.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection5:37

James Cook is viewed as a fantastic asset in a very good situation. He has posted back-to-back seasons with 67+ receptions, making him highly valuable in PPR formats.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveProjection2:38

Josh Allen is ranked as the number one dynasty asset in the AFC East due to his consistent health and elite production since 2019. While he is approaching age 30, he remains in a tier of his own, though the analysts expect a natural slide in his dynasty value as he reaches age 31-32.

Insight page

Malik Washington

NegativeUsage44:46

Malik Washington is a potential early-season waiver wire trap; he may see high target share and usage early on, but his value could decline once Chris Bell returns to full health.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeProjection24:15

Malik Willis is included in rankings with respect to the Superflex format. The analysts note that the Dolphins' coaching staff is familiar with his character, which may provide him the resolve to guide the team through the season, though his long-term outlook remains uncertain.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper43:14

Malik Willis offers late-round value as a quarterback with rushing upside for managers who missed out on top-tier options.

Insight page

Ray Davis

PositiveSleeper47:11

Ray Davis is viewed as the most desirable handcuff among the Jets and Dolphins backup running backs. While his role is currently murky due to Ty Johnson's involvement, Davis has the potential to earn a different role next year and is a strong candidate to be a 'hero' if James Cook were to miss time.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeUsage35:21

Rhamondre Stevenson is part of a one-two punch backfield alongside Trevion Henderson in a New England offense that prioritizes running the ball and controlling the clock, which may limit the total number of plays and overall fantasy ceiling.

Insight page
NegativeProjection42:07

Rhamondre Stevenson is not considered a realistic candidate to finish as a top-five running back at his position.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

NegativeProjection32:24

Romeo Doubs is viewed as a reliable receiver who can generate double-digit points, but he has a capped ceiling. He is seen as a solid flex option, though he is unlikely to be a league-winning 'barn burner' given the target competition.

Insight page
PositiveRole34:07

Romeo Doubs is expected to be the primary receiver opposite A.J. Brown in two-wide receiver sets, with the team showing clear intent by bringing him in. While his output may have a floor due to the A.J. Brown-centric offense, he has the potential to be a sneaky WR2 who could reach double-digit touchdowns.

Insight page
NegativeRole43:08

Romeo Doubs is viewed as a plug-and-play option for fantasy rosters but lacks the ceiling to be a potential league winner.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

PositiveBreakout63:44

Trevion Henderson is viewed as a high-upside play in redraft and best ball formats. While there is a 'wish casting' element to his current valuation, he is a player to target for managers looking to elevate their team's ceiling in competitive leagues.

0:32That's new. It can help you with practically anything on the web.
0:36Like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50-page restoration block.
0:39Or finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks.
0:43Gemini and Chrome is here for it. Ready to make anything online make sense?
0:47There's no place like Chrome. Check responses set up required.
0:50Compatibility and availability varies 18+. What is good? Today we are going to cover the AFC East and we are going to
0:57do a Superflex tight end premium dynasty skill position ranking.
1:00Having a little fun in the summer. We're going to try to get through a bunch of these either here or on Patreon.
1:07And we discuss kind of the changes and whatnot over on Patreon and kind of a little bit more team specific football stuff over there.
1:15And we've been going through that week by week as well.
1:18But let's jump right into it. We've got it tiered up, ready to roll.
1:22Well, Chev is not with us tonight. He is in an airplane somewhere in the sky circling, circling, circling.
1:28Jeremiah, you ready to go? Yeah, man. I'm excited to see just early impression AFC least when it comes to the tight end position.
1:36Superflex tight end premium as we were just discussing pre-show.
1:39I'm excited to dive right into this. Yeah, I mean, this is this was a this was a fun division.
1:45Like you said, I mean, not a whole lot of tight end play.
1:49So we'll see what kind of where this this pause kind of see where this plays out.
1:54But let's jump right into it. I think tier one is pretty self-explanatory.
1:58It's Josh Allen and Drake May. Are you the same?
2:01Yeah, since 2019, Josh Allen has played 16 or more games.
2:04He's a beacon of health and he's here age 30.
2:07We yes, there's a seven year gap. But remember last year when we wanted to put Jaden Daniels ahead of Josh Allen, that was a mistake.
2:15Let's see it one more time from Drake May.
2:18We think we will, Casey. And I think respectively, that's why out of respect for the talent that is Drake May.
2:25While we have Josh Allen, number one, Casey, we both have Drake May number two.
2:29And they're both in a tier of their own tier one imports.
2:33Josh Allen, Drake May. What do you say? Yeah, I mean, we're going to be at this time next year.
2:39We're going to start. We're going to see the slide of Josh Allen starting to happen just just on age alone.
2:45I think right unless he absolutely just is ridiculous, which he has been.
2:49But generally as a dynasty player, you start to all you start to look at that clock and you're thirty one thirty two.
2:57So he's got to naturally slide down the board and guys like if like you said, Drake May has another good year or Jaden Daniels or Caleb Williams.
3:05All those guys kind of can can slide sort of right into that number one top spot in Superflex dynasty rankings here.
3:12Now, when we are done with this, we're going to take a quick look at one QB redraft in the same format
3:19just to see how that was, because I know we're getting into those redraft streets.
3:23We got the redraft channel firing up soon. We're going to be doing tons of redraft content for your pleasure.
3:29But let's jump into tier two here for me.
3:32This was a tough one because I wanted to have Brees Hall in here with these guys.
3:37I got a Chan and then I got Cook and then I have nobody else in that tier, but I did have
3:44Brees Hall in that tier for a while and I decided to drop him down one.
3:49Look, I think Brees Hall can do everything these guys can do.
3:53And now, you know, a Chan has obviously not been on a great team, but he has had a great offensive mind
3:59calling his shots there and having the offense, you know, sort of run through him, especially since Tyree kills kind of been hurt or out of town.
4:08Right. And a Chan is great in his own respect there.
4:11There, Cook has been nothing but fantastic and in a very good situation.
4:15But I think Brees Hall this year could bounce right back into the conversation with those guys.
4:20But for now, I have him a tier below.
4:23So just two players in this tier for me, Jeremiah, who do you have?
4:27I'm right there with you with a Chan and Cook in a PPR setting, the 78 reception, 67 receptions and back to
4:34back seasons or a Chan is advantageous. Two years between the age disparity, Cook 26, a Chan 24.
4:39Now, when we discuss later a little teaser, we are going to look into a Chan being a little bit lower because
4:46this Dolphins offense, we are projecting bad things. We are not going to see them for Vegas for the lowest points per game total.
4:54They are somewhere in the bottom five. I was looking at that, they and the Cardinals.
4:58But being that this is AFC East, the Dolphins are not set up very well.
5:03To your point on Brees Hall, I have him in the next tier at the top.
5:08It just hasn't quite happened yet. And I think as you're drafting, you can have that firewall.
5:13If you see and project Brees Hall, you can go and get somebody at the wide receiver position in the tight end premium in your startups.
5:21And then, of course, super flex being you go into quarterback and push down at your running back position for Brees Hall.
5:28So in the same neighborhood, but not quite the same tier yet.
5:32So I'm right there with you. And leading off, Casey is Brees Hall.
5:36So you have we have commonality, but now it gets a little bit different between tier three.
5:41Mm hmm. Yeah. So in my tier three, like I said, I have Brees.
5:45I have Garrett Wilson and I have Travion Henderson now.
5:48Like I said, I think PPR setting. I think Brees Hall is one of the best PPR backs in the league, best receiving backs in the league.
5:56He needs to be used as such. I think if Gino can come here in here and just be OK, like I
6:03think the Jets did a really good job of resetting this offense.
6:07There's some other fun weapons around them. They still have Mason Taylor, who they drafted in the second round.
6:13Like they could come out in a lot of different sets.
6:16They could be in a heavier set with Sadiq and Mason Taylor on the field at the same time.
6:22And Garrett Wilson obviously is a great number one.
6:25They drafted Cooper. They have A.D. Mitchell. So I think Brees is could really reap the benefits of just mediocre QB play.
6:31And the Jets could really just turn a slight corner.
6:34I'm not saying they're going to go, you know, everything's going to be different because I do think I don't love the head coach.
6:42I do think he'll be out of there after this year, but I think Brees Hall is going to have a nice year.
6:49Garrett Wilson again, probably with all the additions. There'll probably be a slight bit of subtraction, but still, you know, really, really into what Garrett Wilson can do.
6:57We've seen at the beginning of his season last year with Justin Fields be putting up 20 points a game.
7:04Right. And obviously the volume was crazy. I don't think it'll be that crazy this year, but it's still going to be
7:10one of the higher target shares for receivers because I think that's just kind of what he demands.
7:16But again, I think all this offensively for the Jets kind of works together.
7:20And then Travion Henderson. This is dynasty. I think he's a great dynasty asset and it may not even be quite all
7:27there this year from a usage standpoint because I think we're Mondria is good and they trust them.
7:32But this is a this is a dynasty. This is a long game.
7:36We practice patience. So I have Travion up here and no A.J.
7:40Brown in this tier for me. And we can talk about that when you go through your tiers or to the next year.
7:47So, Jeremiah, who's in your tier three? Well, I love it.
7:50A lot of Jets love here and kind of like the economy that we project for most effective tactics in some long
7:57term buys and rebuilds for the Cleveland Browns that we've had from other episodes.
8:01Make sure you all go check that out. The Jets are part of that economy of getting better because there's past bias
8:08and anchor bias there against the Jets, you know, the goddamn Jets from Big Daddy.
8:13Sure. And you have, I think, what's going to happen with Geno Smith.
8:17They're going to be the Cardinals East from 2025 here in 2026.
8:20So I like what you're saying about Brees Hall, Garrett Wilson.
8:24I've got Brees Hall at the top. Then it's Travion Henderson on 180 carries.
8:28He managed just over 900 yards. So imagine what he can do with maybe a little bit more volume.
8:34Again, to your point, Ramondre Stevenson still in the way.
8:37But we see a Jameer Gibbs-like skill set. It's just multiple tiers down right now.
8:42That takeover ability is absolutely there. And we know running backs mature much quicker because the shelf life is much shorter.
8:48But in pockets of the season, don't be surprised if a full breakout occurs for Henderson this time next year.
8:54We're talking Gibbs and Henderson alike. And it's just a few rounds difference.
8:58It's crazy until it happens. Then where we differ, we veer.
9:02It's A.J. Brown seven overall for me in this tier.
9:05Then Garrett Wilson. Garrett Wilson has 100 reception season under his belt.
9:08Now imagine what he can do with just some competency.
9:11It's so funny how starved we've been, Casey, when Geno Smith is making us like, oh, this is water in the desert.
9:18But I've got A.J. Brown just above Garrett Wilson for the reason of I see not just a dead cat bounce this year for A.J.
9:26Brown, where he's just going to annihilate the league and go on a revenge tour with Drake May.
9:31But I see this as a two-year play. And in Dynasty, two years is an eternity.
9:36I think we're going to get two just burn your face off years for A.J.
9:41Brown in tandem with Drake May. Where it goes from there, who knows?
9:45Because we know about the knee drainage repetitively. I think between the ears, for at least two more years, A.J.
9:51Brown is going to lock in. Can't guarantee anything beyond that.
9:54So that's where I have him just above Garrett Wilson.
9:57And the better situation with the quarterback, Drake May, who's number two in our rankings, that's going to pull him above for me.
10:04So a diversion there where you're Wilson above and you're tiered down to Brown in the next.
10:10I've got Brown in this tier just above Garrett Wilson.
10:13Yeah. Yeah. And some of this offensive love with the Jets hinges on this offensive line, which they've invested some in.
10:19And I think it can be at least a league average.
10:22Like, we're talking about a lot of league average, but if the Jets offense can just be near the league average for
10:29offensive line and quarterback play, then I think that tide rises these ships that we're talking about right now.

12:11Appreciate y'all. Peace. And AJ Brown doesn't make it into this tier for me.
12:15This is just a dynasty value thing for me, basically, at this point.
12:19Like, he's 28 years old. He's on his third team or whatever.
12:23I think he's going to be good. I think points per game-wise, he's going to be up there with those guys.
12:30But in dynasty, we do have to look at the lens of, hey, the long term and what the rest of the
12:36community is going to value these guys at. And right now, like, you're just on the tail end of the curve for AJ Brown.
12:44We've already seen the value kind of fall out of it.
12:47Like, I think he's a very good acquisition if you're trying to win and score points.
12:52But it's probably an okay time to sell if you want to try.
12:56You know, camp's about to start. Now, today, we got the Christian Gonzalez.
13:00Like, oh, he deed him up. Like, look, look, Christian Gonzalez.
13:03Like, number one, AJ Brown's not trying. It's no pads.
13:06And Christian Gonzalez is, what, a top five, top three corner in the league?
13:11So, like, that's to be expected. But, you know, to me, I just have, I have AJ Brown in tier four by himself.
13:18I think he's better than all the other players.
13:20I wanted to give him a little bit of respect.
13:24But as far as the assets above him, I just feel like the value on them is just so much greater than what AJ Brown is.
13:31And it's just simply a value thing for me to have him by himself in four.
13:36Yeah, I love it. I see that, too. And to your point, AJ Brown, it's reflexive where you can be on sell side and buy side.
13:44And it's a good, healthy economy there that's developed for AJ Brown.
13:48Funny enough, when you mention Christian Gonzalez, it just makes me think, that's so bad for the rest of the league.
13:54When you think about iron sharpening iron, Michael and Deion Sanders going at it in practice.
13:59Yeah. Hell for the rest of the NFL. So then you have somebody like Christian Gonzalez and AJ Brown.
14:05Talk about nightmare fuel for Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots.
14:09Right. So where is your tier four? Tier four.
14:12Tier four. I'm going to go with Dalton Kincaid with some credence to the tight end premium.
14:17I know we let off the show talking about the tight end position being a little bit down.
14:22But Dalton Kincaid, nine overall. And then it's Omar Cooper, Kenyon Sadiq.
14:26This is both a dynasty play as well. And they're rookies.
14:29And we see the ascension for the Jets. Things getting better.
14:33DJ less. Not to be biased. It's DJ more.
14:36He is 12. Other people may have him higher.
14:38They might be more akin to my AJ Brown take where they're more in the present in the moment.
14:44But for me, I'm practicing caution here. And there's a little bit of that youth baked in where I've got DJ more.
14:51Maybe this year he hits and does well. But I don't see long term viability.
14:5513. It's Malik Willis. It's really respect to the format.
14:59The Miami Dolphins are projecting very badly. I'm going to be looking this season in redraft leagues where you can go and stream defenses.
15:06I'm going to be attacking the Miami Dolphins. And then it's Ramondre Stevenson at 14.
15:10You mentioned it, Casey. A lot of respect to the fact that he's still there.
15:15And he's going to be a menace to Travion Henderson's ceiling.
15:18And then Geno Smith, 15. We talked about the Jets.
15:22Freeze, Paul, Garrett Wilson. And then, of course, the two rookies in Sadiq and Cooper.
15:26Well, it's going to buoy up, lift all the boats.
15:29And there at 15 is Geno Smith because we have a bonafide starter.
15:33He's somebody that you can click in your startup as your QB to and be happy with the rest of your team.
15:40So what do you make of that? And then how does your next tier look, Casey?
15:45Well, I'm going to jump right into five because it's similar to what you have.
15:49And obviously, I just had the single four. So that's kind of where we'll have like a little bit of offset in what we're doing.
15:57But in five, I've got Sadiq, Cooper, Kincaid, Willis, and more.
16:00So almost right on there. I do not have Geno Smith in that tier or Ramondre in that tier.
16:06But you've got Sadiq and Cooper with a little bit of age, good capital.
16:11I know the Jets aren't sexy right now. But we've talked about this throughout the offseason of like, it's not sexy and
16:17it can never happen until it does. And that's the attitude that I think can make you a little bit of money,
16:24whether it's figurative money or value money and dynasty of just like the attitude of, well, that's that.
16:30There's just a lot of people who like to just be on that staunch.
16:34Well, it's not until it is right. And I do think that there could be, hey, look, they get a different quarterback
16:41and a different head coach next year in New York and they've got some building blocks.
16:45All of a sudden, this is now an attractive situation.
16:49And the offensive line is semi-young. And if that shows out, like this could be really fun.
16:54Dalton Kincaid is somebody who I think should be a featured piece of that offense.
16:58I just can't bet on it just yet. And I like him a lot.
17:03And we know what those have. Everybody's talked about the efficiency numbers of Kincaid when targeted out there.
17:08He also needs to stay healthy. Then I have Malik Willis, who is just, you know, obviously we think this this Dolphins.
17:15Is he going to be the sacrificial lamb for this?
17:18You know, this new tree that's in there in Miami.
17:21I'm not sure the thing that you do like about him that I think in most situations is different is that those
17:28guys brought him in and were previously familiar with his character.
17:31So I think they kind of know what it is and know that he has the resolve to kind of guide them
17:38through this season into next and give him a chance into another season.
17:42So he's here, although don't rule out Quinn Ewers just yet.
17:45But anyway, and then DJ Moore, just kind of the same thing.
17:49Like you were saying, AJ Brown, he's a year older than him.
17:53Had didn't have the best season he had in Chicago last year or the best season he's ever had in Chicago last year.
18:00And now he's in another situation where I just mentioned it with Kincaid is I just don't trust the Brady offense to
18:06really be a feeder to one guy. Right. I think DJ Moore could have a very good season or Kincaid or both.
18:13Maybe both of them are the again with the rising tide, but they could be the thing that helps get Buffalo over the top.
18:20I think both are very good players still. So that's my tier five there.
18:25Let's jump into your tier five because we're a tier apart now.
18:28Yep. So for me, this pocket of players, it starts to be about they've got talent, but they need opportunity.
18:35Right. Right. So it leads off number 16 overall for me in this tier is Adonai Mitchell.
18:40And then Shakir is one of those venerable players who's he's a veteran.
18:44And we've seen now he's being obstructed by DJ Moore.
18:47So he's fallen just a little bit here. But going back to the narrative of, hey, get an opportunity.
18:53Go absolutely off. Ray Davis at 18. One of the best handcuffs in fantasy football, like direct handcuffs.
18:58Or if James Cook were to miss time, we know it's like the money ball mean Casey.
19:03He's a great player. Ray Davis, except he can only go off against New York Jets.
19:08Whatever reason, he's had some excellent run out against the Jets.
19:12And then you've got Greg Dulcich at 19. I know Shav has talked him up a ton.
19:17There's a free tight end in Miami. And that role has been fruitful, profitable.
19:21I know there's a coaching change, as you have mentioned.
19:24But again, there's nobody. And it's Greg Dulcich. So we have a little bit of a truther element there.
19:30It's funny. There's a little row of Miami players here.
19:33Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas, the murkiness of, okay, long-term play.
19:36I like Bell more. But you and I, Casey, have talked about the sleeper element.
19:41Of Caleb Douglas. So that could pivot and flip-flop.
19:44And then there's some respect to Romeo Dubs. Hey, he can generate 14 points on a given week.
19:49Not a barn burner, not a 30-burger type of player.
19:52But he's there in that New England offense at 22.
19:55And then it's Handcuff City and Ollie Gordon. Isaiah Davis.
19:58The one main note on that, Casey, is later on it's Braylon Allen, Jalen Wright.
20:03I see Braylon Allen, Jalen Wright as the threes.
20:06And I've got my twos up here in this section with Gordon and Isaiah Davis.
20:10Gotcha. All right. Well, I'm going to jump into my tier six because, like I said, we're a little cattywampus here.
20:17I've got Romeo Dobbs leading that off. I've got Ramondre.
20:20I've got Chris Bell. I've got Skylar Bell. I've got Khalil Shakir.
20:23And then I have Geno Smith. So, you know, some pulling players from both of your last two tiers here.
20:30What do you what's your thoughts on on Romeo Dobbs?
20:33Because I really like the player. Obviously, we knew A.J.
20:36Brown was kind of coming to town. And like it was it was a short-lived success story for Romeo Dobbs potentially being the number one there.
20:44And we kind of knew it wasn't going to be.
20:47But like, you know, he feels like a number two.
20:50I feel like this is a really good situation.
20:52Is he somebody that we should maybe be a little bit more bullish on?
20:57And it's kind of like maybe a secret little sneaky, like double digit points a game.
21:02Nice little third receiver. Nice little flex here. I kind of lean that way because I do think he's a very good receiver.
21:09He absolutely is. But I think there's just a floor.
21:12There's a governor on his output. And especially if it's A.J.
21:15Brown, it's going to be the A.J. Brown show.
21:18A lot of this is going to run through him.
21:21And then, of course, Mike Rabel was carried on the philosophy of being able to run the ball and bludgeon teams to
21:28death with the one-two punch of Ramondre Stevenson and Trevion Henderson.
21:31Funny enough, Jam Miller could even mix in there.
21:34Patriots are not. You love Jam and Jam right in there.
21:37We jammed him in. But day three, backs, undrafted backs, Patriots are all A-OK with, hey, next man up.
21:43And in that cold New England environment, remember, this is a very good defense, one of the top five defenses heading into next season.
21:50So that adage of run the ball, have the finite plays against the opposing defense.
21:55We have to think about that sometimes in our fantasy leagues because that's where I start to say to myself, game flow,
22:02there's not going to be as many 51 to 55 barn burners that you might have in the NFC West with this New England Patriots team and stylistically.
22:10So that's where I push back on Romeo Dubs being more than I can see him hitting that consistent clip of 10 points.
22:17But you don't want to take zeros in best ball, but I don't know if you want to take the mitigated upside
22:24in your lineup leagues, be a dynasty. So that's where I'm more cautious.
22:28And if he's going to grease the wheel, Romeo Dubs, for a trade, I'll put him in there.
22:34So you seem to think highly, though, of Dubs.
22:36Do you see him hitting any ceiling if A.J.
22:39Brown were to be completely out? Well, I mean, that's always got to be part of it.
22:44I mean, A.J. Brown hasn't missed like a ridiculous amount of games, but he's been seemingly like hobbled coming into a lot
22:51of games and has had some ailments. So that's certainly something.
22:54But I mean, I don't I feel like he could be close to double digit touchdowns.
22:59I mean, I think there's these two guys. And then obviously, I think Hunter Henry and Drake have a good relationship off the field.
23:07Raritan will be in the next one. He's kind of like more of a stash kind of player for me, but I do like him.
23:14But I do think Romeo and A.J. Brown are going to be kind of like A.J.
23:19Brown and Devonta Smith as far as like the target distribution for.
23:23And, you know, I think Kyle Williams is a good vertical threat and he could develop and Boutte and Kyle Williams, I
23:30feel like are kind of a little bit not Spider-Man Mimi.
23:33But, you know, if they were comfortable with Boutte being having a big role, not that I don't, you know.
23:39Should teams not improve in a spot if they could even like I hate saying like if they believed in Boutte, they wouldn't have brought dubs in.
23:47It's like, well, I mean, two things can be true.
23:51They think Boutte is good and they're like, hey, we know this guy's good and we know what we can get from him.
23:58And we've got a really good grade or however you want to say picking up a free agent would be.
24:04So, yeah, I mean, I think Romeo Dobbs could be a sneaky sneak into a WR2 territory for a lot of games potentially.
24:11And some of that would have to be based off of touchdowns.
24:14Right. There would have to be. Go ahead. You make a good point, though.
24:19So, well, eyebrow raise for excitement when you said double digit touchdowns, because when you speak it into existence for Romeo Dobbs,
24:25it's absolutely within the range of outcomes. I think to a finer point of what you're instilling, I think the message that
24:32needs to come across to the audience, too, is in two wide receiver sets.
24:37It's going to be Romeo Dobbs when it comes to shaving down to two wide receiver sets.
24:42Opposite A.J. Brown will be deferential deference to Romeo Dobbs, who they intentionally brought in.
24:46And so that bears opportunity and tied to Drake May, who this time next year, Casey, if he's the number one player
24:53in dynasty startups, it's within the range of outcomes.
24:56You're just asking the question. It's not crazy to think that Romeo Dobbs would absolutely thrive in profit.
25:01Yeah. Romeo has also missed a reasonable amount of time as well.
25:05So not to say that he's been the picture of health either.
25:09So I got Chris Bell in there. I like the player.
25:12He's fun. And it's just wide open to Miami.
25:15There's some OK draft capital there. Skyler Bell really like that player.
25:18Little jammed up in that room, but kind of haven't been there.
25:22Shakir is going to stand in the way of Bell, I think, but has been fairly productive throughout.
25:28I just didn't really know what to do with him here, but I wanted to give a little bit of respect to
25:34his name because he has been a good play.
25:37He's been kind of like a Romeo Dobbs sort of player.
25:41And then Geno Smith, like you said, there's just a starting quarterback who I think is fine enough if he can be
25:47upright and make it through a season. So that's my that's my tier six.
25:52Moving on to tier seven for me, I've got Hunter Henry, Eli Raritan, Malik Willis, A.D.
25:56Mitchell, Dulcich, Mason Taylor, Caleb Douglas, Kyle Williams, Ray Davis, Isaiah Davis, Braylon Allen, Jalen Wright and Ollie Gordon.
26:02So to me, this is a big tier of there's some useful guys and some handcuffs here.
26:08And I think I could probably move Kyle Williams and Caleb Douglas potentially down.
26:12I really do like the opportunity for Caleb Douglas, though.
26:15You mentioned Dulcich in the last in your last year.
26:18And I think that he's going to get a lot of opportunity.
26:22A.D. Mitchell's kind of forgotten. It's like, hey, we got these new we got this Alpha One and we got these new toys.
26:29But like he's he could be the two all season long for this offense.
26:33Potentially, I think Malik Washington has a very big opportunity here to potentially grab.
26:37And we talked about Chris Bell's up there. Obviously, they just drafted him.
26:41But Malik Willis could easily lead this team in receptions this year.
26:45While that's going to be a good thing or not.
26:48I don't you know, we don't know what this offense is going to be.
26:52We mentioned Raritan as a very fun stash and then a bunch of basically handcuffed running backs as well in this tier.
26:59So this was a big, expansive tier for me.
27:02I do think I should move Kyle Williams probably down.
27:05I just really do like the player. But I just think there's too many mouths to feed there for how that offense is going to operate.
27:13Whereas like the Miami offense is a lot more up in the air of how it may operate.
27:18And Ray Davis leads leads the handcuffs with Isaiah Davis right behind him for me.
27:23And then Raylan Allen and then the two Miami backups with Wright and Gordon.
27:27So what's your tier next year look like? So just question on that, though.
27:31Yeah. On Ray Davis. This message is brought to you by Apple Card.

28:04You think you know a browser, but Gemini and Chrome?
28:07That's new. It can help you with practically anything on the web.
28:10Like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50-page restoration block.
28:13Or finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks.
28:17Gemini and Chrome is here for it. Ready to make anything online make sense?
28:21There's no place like Chrome. Check responses set up required compatibility and availability varies 18+.
28:26I've got more of a distinction between Davis and those other four respective Jets and Dolphins running backs.
28:32Do you have any thought to raising Ray Davis?
28:34Or is it simply you've got Ray Davis at the top because, too, as much as I might be bullish and as
28:41much as I might like the opportunity for him, he still needs the opportunity.
28:45And when it's one of those things where it's a zero or he's a hero, there's no real in-between.
28:51Is that why you have Ray Davis a little bit?
28:54I'm not going to say Barry, but he's just lower.
28:57Well, you know, I think I believe he gets an opportunity to go somewhere else next year to potentially have a different role.
29:04But they keep inserting Ty Johnson into that offense at other times.
29:08So, like, if I knew it was always going to be Ray, then I might even put him up maybe even a tick higher here.
29:16I do think he's the most desirable handcuff out of any of these by a decent margin.
29:21And only because I don't think Isaiah Davis is necessarily going to beat Braylon Allen out.
29:26But I think Isaiah Davis is better than Braylon Allen.
29:29Personally, that's just me. And there are some numbers to back it up of I think Isaiah Davis has been better when he's on the field.
29:37And as far as Wright and Gordon, I just don't know which one's the guy.
29:41So I can't say. And, you know, I don't I like both.
29:45I really do like both of those. I like both of those players coming out a good bit.
29:51And they just kind of muddied it up. So that's that's kind of why I don't I'm high.
29:56I'm the highest on Ray Davis of those guys.
29:59But it's not like by a huge margin. What I think would be the differentiator to maybe even move him up a
30:06little bit more would be the fact that he will be the only guy who has a chance to go somewhere else
30:12and maybe earn more of a B role for something or potentially figure out a way to be an A role.
30:19Because I think he's a good player. Decent player anyway.
30:22Well, in fantasy football, we have to acknowledge wish casting and like Luther Burden comes to mind for him to hit his startup ADP.
30:29There's still you can be bullish on the player, but still understand, my God, there's an element of wish casting amongst those
30:36cast of players on a very much cheaper scale.
30:39Somebody like Ray Davis, I have to acknowledge as much as I like his talent.
30:43There's a wish casting element to it where it's not happened.
30:47I don't have definitive proof of what will happen.
30:49My firm belief is it's one of those things where he's a nothing, but he'll be a hero in the event that James Cook was entirely out.
30:58But because of what happens, there's that murkiness with somebody like Ty Johnson.
31:02When James Cook is in the fold, that's going to leave some people bearish.
31:06That's the part where if you're in on Ray Davis, I think that keeps his price depressed and there's an opportunity there.
31:13But again, I speculate and I feel firmly that that would be the outcome.
31:17But at the same time, it would still have to happen.
31:20And there's the range of outcomes where I could be wrong on that.
31:24And it is a wish cast. So, yeah, it's it's the shoehorning of Ty Johnson.
31:29And they do seem to really like him, especially past catching third down situations, which does.
31:34I feel like limit Ray Davis a little bit to just like a weird tweener role sometimes for them.
31:40And that's kind of, you know, where where it is there.
31:43And I did want to shout out. I think Hunter Henry's always tremendously undervalued in every in every way, shape or form.
31:50And if you need him, you can usually play him.
31:53And it's not the worst ever. And then there's been plenty of stretches where he's been very productive.
31:58And I know that him and Alan or him and may have a very good off field relationship with one another, which be that as it may.
32:07But that can be something that, you know, I am looking for my guy, you know.
32:12So I feel bad almost putting Henry in this with all those other guys.
32:16But he felt like a tweener a little bit for me.
32:19But I do think we need to put respect on Hunter Henry's name as like a zero tight end hero, if you will.
32:26Well, he'd be one of those players who, even though he's down further, Casey, you highlight his name as a good click.
32:33If you're in a situation where it's like, hey, I need some points.
32:37I'm mining some points and I'm going to get something out of there.
32:41And then you're just sitting there looking at his age 31, a little bit longer in the tooth.
32:47Although for tight ends, they have a lot better shelf life.
32:50Right. But you see a little bit of the writing on the wall with what's going on with Eli Raritan.
32:56And you never know what could happen down the future with the way two tight end sets, 13 personnel sets are going in the league.
33:04Who's to say that New England won't just go and draft another tight end next year?
33:09But that that part is some speculation. All right.
33:11Give us the run out here for you. Yep.
33:14So I've got it's Eli Raritan at 25, Hunter Henry at 26.
33:18They're neck and neck dynasty value. Basically, it's what I spoke to.
33:21You want to print some points? Click on Hunter Henry.
33:25If you're fine where you're at and you have some other veteran who can print points for you at tight end, go Eli Raritan.
33:32And then it's Kyle Williams, Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert.
33:35Just a trio of wide receivers who we don't really know what to do with.
33:39We don't know if they'll matriculate up the depth chart.
33:42We have some belief in their talent, their skill set.
33:45But again, there's ambiguity with the Miami situation for Malik Washington.
33:49And then Kyle Williams, of course, we've liked. I know Shev has talked about some Terry McLaurin skill set, which I can kind of see there.
33:57But again, we spoke just a few minutes ago.
33:59We went on about Romeo Dubs. So it's like, hey, so the seat's taken right now.
34:04And after that, it's Jalen Wright, Braylon Allen. So you and I divert on that patch of backup running backs for the
34:11Jets and the Dolphins, where I've got Wright and Allen tiered below.
34:15I'm just not impressed by them. I have a little bit more hype and excitement about Ollie Gordon and Isaiah Davis.
34:21My God, watch Isaiah Davis. It is. He's electric.
34:24And we're getting reports, too. That's the other drumbeat where I've separated.
34:28We're getting some reports on Isaiah Davis kind of taking that number two role.
34:32And if you remember last year, Braylon Allen was not smashing.
34:35He did a little bit in preseason where he had like huge lanes, like a truck could go through.
34:41And then when the season hit, he just was not impressive.
34:45And then it runs out rest of them. Gayshawn Boutte, Mason Taylor, Quinn Ewers.
34:49We'll leave the light on for you. Skyler Bell, Mario Douglas, Keon Coleman, Kate Klubnik, the whole host of players who are left.
34:56That's my tier. It just gets gradually ambiguous. Right.
34:59These are like the stashier players right here. These are yours.
35:02So my tier eight, obviously I've got an extra tier or two from you.
35:06But it's Tolbert. It's Ewers. Keon Coleman, because I just don't know what to do with him.
35:11Boutte, Demario Douglas, which I think Demario Douglas could be a good slot somewhere if he could just get some more opportunity.
35:18And then I threw Kevin Coleman in there because we've been talking this whole time about like we just don't know where
35:25this Dolphin situation is going to pan out. I obviously like Bell and Douglas a good bit.
35:30I like Malik Washington. He's been my dog for a while.
35:34But I just wanted to throw Kevin Coleman in there.
35:37And then I don't know what to do with Tolbert.
35:40And I think Ewers should just be stashed everywhere for sure.
35:43So that's going to wrap up the last tier there.
35:46Let's jump over to the redraft side of this thing real quick.
35:50If we went to redraft and we went to 1QB PPR, how would this shape out?
35:55And we're just going to run through this real quick here just because it is the season.
36:00It is the season, correct? So we pre-show kind of went through this and did this consensus wise.
36:05So we've got kind of similar opinions and rankings here.
36:08So tier one, we got James Cook and A.J.
36:11Brown. You felt like A.C. did not belong in this tier, right?
36:15Correct. A lot of it is Vegas projections tearing down.
36:18And look, I know Shev is saying, look, A.C.
36:21didn't forget football. And I'm right there with you.
36:24But at the same time, who's going to remember football a little bit more this year, maybe, with better offenses?
36:30It's going to be James Cook and A.J. Brown.
36:32So I distinctly have them. If you're in some of the best ball streets, which mirror redraft, you'll see flip-flopping A.J.
36:39Brown. So this is a little bit sharper to what's happening in market.
36:43You'd never do this. You'd never pick A.J. Brown over Devon A.C.
36:46in Dynasty. So that speaks to the redraft right now.
36:50Right. So tier two, then we have A.C. and we have Brees Hall and we have Garrett Wilson.
36:55That completes tier two there, right? So, you know, I think A.C.
36:59and I don't exactly know where the ADP is on those between A.C.
37:03and Brees, really. But I would assume that there's an OK gap there still.
37:07Yes. Like at the one-two turn, there's just a batch of running backs and it's somebody like A.C.
37:13And then closer to round three, get a little more discount.
37:16It is Brees Hall. But I think, Casey, even if this weren't the division, I would, even though they're four and five,
37:23wouldn't you venture to say that Brees Hall would be much closer to Devon A.C.
37:27And still? I mean, I've been a Brees Hall truther for a while.
37:31I was big on him last year and I'm going with the Chris Olave, you know, post-hyper, post-Casey breakout sleeper sort of deal here.
37:39I think he's going to have a good season.
37:41So I'm with it. I could have almost squeezed A.C.
37:44into the first because I just do think there's just going to be so much piled on him that they're just going
37:51to will him to a good fantasy season because it's just going to be garbage volume his way in a PPR situation.
37:58And then, you know, we mentioned Garrett Wilson. I still think I trust him a little less currently just because the situation
38:05has evolved a little bit around him. But there is that you could make the argument of like the situation evolves.
38:11Everything gets a little better. Maybe the targets decreased by a little bit, but all the situation gets a little more efficient.
38:18So we've got tier two there. Tier three, we've got Travion Henderson and then we've got the two quarterbacks.
38:24We did some of this to just kind of show you where in redraft in one quarterback where these kind of quarterbacks would slot down.
38:31Henderson, Allen and May here. Right. I mean, if you want to, you know, the typically the mobile quarterbacks that are going to score a lot of points.
38:40They're like third round ish players in redraft and or best ball.
38:44Right. Yeah. If somebody wants to nitpick, they could say, well, you know, Allen would go first and Henderson would go next and then it'd be Drake.
38:52But that all becomes preference of team build. And I think you and I, Casey, are projecting a little bit of that breakout at a more scarce position.
39:00And then that push down on one quarterback. And that's the other difference in the redraft.
39:05See, in the best ball streets, Josh Allen will go.
39:08But people make two and three quarterback builds. A lot of times in a 15 round, 16 round redraft league in a
39:15one quarterback setting, you might just go with one and then get a biweek fill in and you're trying to max your roster.
39:22So even then it would just be, hey, we have seven, Henderson, eight Allen, nine many.
39:27Yeah. And so are you, would you be pulling, are you pulling the trigger on Travion in the redraft and best ball?
39:34It feels a little better redraft. Are you feel, you feel confident about pulling the trigger on Travion?
39:39Yes. And it's partly a risk tolerance. I'm happy to just, Hey, F it, man.
39:44I'm going to go for the upside. But again, if I'm doing five redrafts, however many that are out there, I can't
39:51remember off the top of my head. One might be Judkins.
39:54One might be Skadabo and another might be Travion Henderson.
39:57So I'm not married to the idea. I have to get him every single draft, but yeah, absolutely play for the upside
40:04and hope that because you're playing with a little more home league, right?
40:08That it suppresses his price just a little bit.
40:11Oh, he didn't really quite fall out. Right. And in redraft, I mean, dynasty too, but like, especially redraft, like you can play it conservative.
40:18And if it's just a bunch of yahoos in the league, that would probably be fine.
40:23You could just, but like generally in a, in a stiffer league with stiffer competition, like you're gonna need, like you're gonna
40:30need to hit on like two upside plays to, to set yourself up to try to win, win the redraft tournament or, or, you know, the league.
40:38Rather, it's really hard to just play super conservative with a league full of really good players and not, you know, the
40:45team that's gonna, he's either gonna hit on like a waiver wire guy or two or smashed in the, you know, on
40:52the Travion and the whatever, fourth or fifth round, whatever that would be.
40:56Um, and hit on the 11th round player. Right.
40:58And, and so that's to me over time has always been kind of the elixir to be like, ah, I see how
41:05he, you know, in good leagues, everybody's coming out with a semi okay team.
41:09It's just like, which guys elevate it to, to another level.
41:13So Travion could be that guy this year for sure.
41:16Uh, tier four, we have DJ Moore and Kincaid.
41:19Um, this is, would not be tight end premium here.
41:22This would just be standard PPR and you're, you feel okay with Kincaid in that range.
41:27Um, you wouldn't, what would, should Ramond Ray be higher here?
41:30Or is it, is this, you feel good about this tier?
41:33I think it just depends on how you've built the range of your team.
41:38And do you feel okay? Okay. What's upside? Could Dalton Kincaid be a top five tight end this year?
41:43All the metrics that we laid out. I know Shev had mentioned Kincaid and you had mentioned some good stuff about Kincaid
41:50on a prior episode where it's like, wow, he's got some really good metrics out there.
41:55Ramond Ray Stevenson in, in top five at his position just doesn't really come into play.
42:00That, that thought just doesn't seem realistic at all.
42:03So at that point I'd be more than happy to go with somebody like a Dalton Kincaid and then to DJ Moore.
42:09Hey, I've called him DJ Moore a ton, but Hey, if there's one year where he could just absolutely ball out with
42:16an unstructured quarterback extension of plays, less structure. And you don't need the route nuance that the discipline that DJ Moore has lacked at times.
42:24And he can just go off athleticism. Hey, this is the year.
42:28Yeah. All right. Tier five. We've got Romeo Dobbs.
42:30We've got Ramond Ray and we've got Malik Willis, a little Russian quarterback upside there.
42:35So I think, I think that's a, that's a pretty just, Hey, these are, you know, Hey, you missed out on quarterbacks.
42:42You take the upside of the rushing of, of Malik Willis super late and Romeo Dobbs and Ramond Ray.
42:47It seemed like we kind of talked about it in the other show, just guys that you could plug in, but they're
42:54not going to be those potential league winners necessarily.
42:57Right. So then we get into kind of your tier six to me.
43:01This is, you got, we got a Sadiq. We've got Omar Cooper, which are just kind of those upside swings of that
43:08could be nothing could be dropped by week two, three.
43:11And then you've got Khalil Shakir and Gino Smith, which, you know, probably will be the last pick or not drafted.
43:17Right. In that tier six there. And then tier seven, we've got a couple of guys with swings here.
43:23We've got Dulcich who we mentioned, Hey, maybe you don't draft a tight end all, all, or he's your second, or maybe
43:30drafted Kittle and you take Dulcich at the end.
43:33But, you know, then an AD Mitchell and a Davis, so our favorite handcuff, somebody who could be a forgotten man and AD Mitchell in that tier seven.
43:41And then tier eight is just kind of like, Hey, these are late round stabs.
43:46Maybe they're your first round of pickups on waivers, your Chris Bell, your Skylar Bell, Hunter Henry and Malik Washington.
43:52So anything to comment on through those last three tiers there, Jeremiah?
43:56Well, you covered it really well. Just one note on Malik Washington and some of those honorable mentions every year we have, what was it?
44:03Miles Austin years ago, who was like a week one darling.
44:07You could have somebody like Malik Washington first three, four weeks.
44:10There's ambiguity and it's the Dolphins receiving room. Somebody who the first couple of weeks pulls everybody to blow all their fab
44:17cool first two weeks and then fall off the face of the earth.
44:21I could absolutely see it. But who has the talent to even get there and be there?
44:26It's Malik Washington. So it's in one sense, it's not saying he's going to blow up, but he could be a trap, a waiver wire redraft trap.
44:34But at the same time, we always get those cool surprises.
44:38And this could be one that we're looking back a couple months from now.
44:42Like, hey, yeah. Malik Washington was one of those call outs.
44:45Absolutely. And to that point, like if he is one of your last round pick, like and you don't have to spend
44:52the waiver and everybody else is chasing. That's usually kind of what I like to do with my last pick potentially, unless
44:59I'm like tying up a loose end here with with a little bit of insurance or something.
45:04But like Malik Washington, like you said, the first two, like first week, it's like, oh, he's crushed the target share.
45:10And it's like we see so much like the first couple of weeks you start you pay attention.
45:16At least I do a lot more to target share and snap percentage because you're trying to figure out things.
45:22And then as time goes, everything kind of settles in for the most part.
45:26And some of those big snap shares and target shares decline and the things the right order of things gets established.
45:33But what I'm saying is, is Chris Bell is potentially injured and maybe not fully ready to go.
45:38Douglas is a rookie, right? Tolbert's the other guy there.
45:41Malik Washington comes out the first two weeks and it's like, oh, look at the usage.
45:46Look at the target share. By week three, he's in a redraft trade for you because Chris Bell's right around the corner.
45:53Maybe it's all season, but he's definitely somebody you could pick with your last pick even and potentially be like, ah, he
46:00could get a deal over the top and redraft, which is a tough street to sled down, right?
46:05Getting redraft trades done. Or at least I've never had a ton of success.
46:09It's always got to be some sort of two for one.
46:13It's very hard to get, at least in my experience in leagues where people are fairly competent.
46:18It's hard to really at least get a decent trade done.
46:21Yeah, absolutely. And it's just, that's the fun of redraft because there's these lightning in the bottle moments throughout the season where
46:28you would never admit, like it would almost sound like you have some kind of an addiction or a problem to say, right.
46:35This, this player is really exciting. And you see trades put up and you would never dream or fathom of that in dynasty.
46:42But for whatever reason, like last year, a prime example would be Torrey Horton.
46:47Had he stayed healthy and continued going like another one or two games, all of a sudden you wouldn't be able to buy him for anything.
46:54Like you would have had the finder's fee, the room fee.
46:58Yeah, it is. It's quite, it's wild how that happens so much in the National Football League.
47:03And there'll be a player who, Elijah Mitchell a couple of years ago for your 49ers, like the discovery fee on that to try and venture trade.
47:11But came up and you had one of the best years ever if you had him on your team.
47:17Correct. Or Eli Moore. You know, from, was that, was that neat?
47:21Was that the Jets? Oh, when he had like a 30-burger against the Colts.
47:25Elijah Moore came, came out and put up some points there for a minute and again, which has been nothing since then.
47:32Anyway, let's wrap this one up. Got a little twofer in there.
47:36Got a little dynasty for your pleasure. And then we got caught a little redraft at the end.
47:41Thought it would be a good, good way to kick off the redraft season for the FFD.
47:46Again, that channel will be fired back up. We've got a redraft channel, but we're going to be doing plenty of redraft stuff with Shev and Jeremiah.
47:55Holding that down all season long. Keep it locked in.
47:58We'll see you next week. Jeremiah, I'm Casey. FF Dynasty.
48:01Peace.
