0:00When the season started, I honestly thought the only way that Josh DS would let me down was be, you know, Nick
0:06Westbrook a keen taking all his routes.
0:08Like somehow Josh DS is Dalton Concincaid and he just runs 62% of the routes and and only plays in the slot.
0:15Adam, I I thought no shot does he run 95% of the routes and also suck in fantasy football. I mean, this has been
0:22this has been insane. H how how is this guy running all these routes and getting target per routbed by Laquan Treadwell?
0:30It this this is like of all the storylines of guys I liked who sucked this year, down sucking is the craziest
0:37one.
0:38>> Yeah. And it's weird. I don't really know what to make of either because it's not like it's been an every week thing
0:43in terms of targets. Like week two and week three he got tons of targets like you would expect and then he just fell
0:49fell off again. So yeah, I'm with you.
0:50Like I I still think he bounces back because I think he's good and he's gotten targets in the past. But uh yeah,
0:58I'm with you. Like if you had told me that he actually would step into a role where he was running he hasn't run less
1:04than 80% of routes in a single week yet.
1:06>> In a single week.
1:08>> Yeah. Got to 90% this week. Like I would have assumed that he's just like absolutely smashing.
1:12>> He's even he is um even being targeted down the field which is like another way he could have failed. So he didn't in
1:19the London game. In the London game, he had a 1% market share of the Indianapolis Colts air yards, but last week he got multiple downfield targets.
1:27I mean, I do think part of it is probably Daniel Jones is just like I mean, he's was not a great quarterback
1:34to begin with and then didn't have the athleticism to give with the Achilles injury and is probably not 100% good to
1:41go. So that's I mean, that has just been pretty frustrating. Like we have him right now base rate 18% target share
1:48he's obviously unplayable at at that level of of target share. I mean if we can get him back to 24 25% target share
1:57then he becomes playable. I mean he was he was chalk one week I I don't remember which week he but he he did get played
2:04one week at at I think $6300 on DraftKings. I'm I'm kind of into him this week just because it is a really
2:13good matchup against the Titans. Wide receiver is going to be it's going to be like Jeremy Bernard and Puka are going
2:19to be on like every single team. So if you just do something slightly weird at wide receiver, I think you're going to
2:24get a good edge. I mean, I don't know.
2:26Is is downs too fancy given just how like low the floor has been?
2:30>> I don't really think I wouldn't say too fancy. I I think he's somebody that you definitely have a margin for like
2:36changing his route share kind of depending like you can make defensible arguments for probably anything from like 18% to like I don't know 22% or
2:45something. Um because again it's not like Marvin Harrison with the Cardinals where like every single week he's just not getting targeted.
2:53Like if you look at it week by week, you know, like I said, week two, week three he was near 30%. But like if you look at
2:59Treadwell also, you know, the last couple weeks 17 18%, week three he was at 2%, week two he was at 10%. Like
3:06yeah, okay, maybe Lacoan Treadwell is just overtaking Josh DS. I think it's more likely that this is just like kind of just some fluky stuff going on. You
3:14mentioned it with Daniel Jones. Like I didn't see the Colts game last week, but I saw a chunk of the Commanders game and
3:19he just looked awful. I mean, some of it >> was just he was just as bad last week.
3:24like some or a lot of it can be bad QB play, which obviously doesn't mean that there's going to be good QB play this
3:29week and everything's going to be solved. But like I I I don't view it as a situation where like Josh DS is just
3:36actually for sure bad, not getting targets. You're a crazy person if you think that it's just volatility. like I think you can change that to like 22%
3:46and still make a very reasonable case for it based on you know history and and stuff. So >> if he's if he's 22 23% like if like we
3:57decide that as his baseline 22 23% even with Daniel Jones playing so poorly does definitely make him playable. And also I
4:06mean this is like a this is a really good spot. So they're back at home. They also I mean look it could be they came
4:12back from London. they didn't get the by-week. I I mean there I guess would be a chance they were still like a little
4:17jet-legged or whatever. So like the team level performance was low. Um I I probably and I know this is probably like um do as I say, not as I do because
4:26I I think there are a lot of reasons to be off downs, but I do think he probably will find his way into one of my single
4:32entry teams this week just because of the way the slate overall projects.
4:37>> Yeah. Yeah, I mean like I have no idea obviously if I'll end up with him, but he's he's he's somebody where if he ends
4:42up in a lineup as one of my contrarian pieces, I'm fine with it because like yeah, he is back at home. Good matchup,
4:48all of that. And like again, he's sure he's volatile. Every wide receiver for the most part is. So like uh I don't
4:57think he's dead. Like I don't think he's never going to have another good week the rest of the year or anything.
5:01>> Yeah. Like I would rather play him versus Keenan because Keenan I know just like at this point like probably can't
5:08get 25 in a game. He just I don't I literally don't think he can gain enough yards. But Keenan I think I mean our our
5:13base algorithmic ownership is just like a little bit high because that's all going to flow to Jeremy. But I do think
5:19Keenan will probably get played this week because there just not a ton of salary relief options which um you know we we are going to get to Jeremy. So the
5:27Ravens and the Browns there's actually a fair amount of stuff to discuss here. I don't think Lamar is going to play. I I
5:34would guess he gets one more week off.
5:36We saw Huntley like not be the absolute worst last week. Flowers had I mean obviously an insanely good target share last week. I guess another thing that
5:46was interesting I thought with Durham Smite out for the year that Matthew Hibner would play a lot more because he'd been the better receiving tight end
5:53between um Hibner and Quavvis and Nick Banette. But that is not what happened.
5:57They scaled Mark Andrews up to being a full-time player. He did not play very well because I don't think Mark Andrews
6:03really has the juice anymore. But if he's going to be a full-time player, I mean, he had, I believe, an 85% route
6:09share. He played 55 snaps. Last week, he's 4,200. The They do get to play, you know, the the Cleveland Browns. I I I
6:16think Mark Andrews probably is on the menu.
6:18>> For what it's worth, this is a spot where there's a massive difference in route share depending on what site you're looking at. Uh, Fantasy Points
6:25actually has him with a lower route share than he had week four. So, must have been a lot of blocking on screens
6:30or something involved. Um, but yeah, he has been out there a lot. He's just terrible.
6:38>> Yeah, he he's not he's really not that great. And then what do you do with someone like Flowers? I feel like this
6:42is actually like a really difficult thing to deal with in DFS in general.
6:48These very efficient wide receivers with out of this world target shares. I mean, we've seen number like, if you played fantasy football long enough, you've
6:56seen plenty of guys uh in in this circumstance, like really good receivers catching passes from bad quarterbacks.
7:02I'm inclined to say that I like Flowers a little bit more than the projection just because he does so much of his work
7:10after the catch. Like, I feel like it's maybe a little bit different with someone like I don't know. I'm trying to
7:15think of like a good downfield maybe like uh maybe like T. Higgins when T.
7:19Higgins has played with Jake Browning in these guys where you're like he sure he can have a 25% target share but he's not
7:24as good yards after catch whereas like Chase with a lot of these Jabron backup quarterbacks has actually had insane games. I I feel like Flowers can have a
7:3430 ball here um even even if Huntley plays and Lamar doesn't play.
7:38>> Yeah. And one other thing I like about Flowers because I don't remember the numbers anymore, but I'd looked into it
7:43before their game on Sunday. Um because I'd seen stuff about, you know, like um Huntley heavily targeting his tight ends in the past and stuff like that and I
7:50went back and looked at when he had that stretch as a starter a few years ago with Baltimore and like yeah, he
7:54targeted Mark Andrews a ton, but that was a season where Mark Andrews was just targeted as >> say that was that was back when when
8:00Mark Andrews um be the absolute goat.
8:04>> Yeah. Like Mark Andrews didn't really see a bump relative to like his overall season numbers with Huntley in there.
8:10But the other thing I had looked at was in games Huntley is has played like he does target Z Flowers a ton. So it
8:17wasn't because sometimes you'll see that where you know a backup quarterback comes in and they just can't throw the routes that their wide receiver one
8:24typically runs or whatever. And you just see that drop off but like you haven't seen that with Dave Flowers. Huntley has
8:30gotten the ball to him going back, you know, whenever he has played whenever they have played together. So, um I think it is a difficult spot like you
8:40said. I think it's the most difficult spot kind of to to project. Um you run into it in NBA stuff, too. Uh where
8:47usage might stay the same or go up, but for one reason or another, efficiency is going to drop off in this case, you
8:53know, if Lamar's not playing. But uh yeah, I still think that the target percentage and everything for Flowers should be there. Like I don't think you
9:01see a drop off there with Tyler Hogwin.
9:04>> I there I it's just a very difficult spot because it's also like a very good matchup as well. And it's like I I would
9:11kind of like to play in to Flowers. I would kind of maybe even like to play into the Mark Andrews stuff. I I think
9:16Flowers is I mean he's like on he's a better version of the Josh Downs play, right? like bad quarterback play, but a
9:22guy that we know is is very good. So, I'm I'm relatively interested in playing Flowers. On the Cleveland side, I think
9:30we're not gonna have Quinch on Judkins.
9:31He did not play today. We are also not going to have Raheem Sanders. He just got put on the IR. And then Dylan Samson
9:40was designated for return from the IR.
9:43He is 5200. I mean, they're only four and a half point dogs. So, this is not like playing a running back. you know,
9:49this isn't like playing, you know, Damen Pierce or whatever. So, the backfield, I think, is going to be Samson, Jal Mlaclin, and Jarrett Patterson.
9:57Patterson, I would expect to probably be the the practice squad callup and not really play at all. Jal, I think, is
10:04like truly just like a scatback. I I think you you kind of max him out at like 20 snaps in a game. I think Samson
10:11is pretty good. I I'm not that I, you know, I wouldn't be playing Quinn Sean Judkins here. Samson also more of a pass catcher. I mean, was
10:19the SEC offensive player of the year his final season in college, was pretty good as a pass catcher last year. I I could
10:26totally see him scamming, you know, seven receptions or whatever here, I would expect him to get the goal line work. I maybe maybe this is too fancy,
10:35but when all the projection stuff gets in, like if we give him 60% rush share, 10% target share, you know, no concepts
10:42in this game, I I think he might end up being playable. Do you think he gets that much of a rushing workload right
10:47back off the IR?
10:50>> I mean, I would say the only other alternative would be Jared Patterson eats in and gets 20% rush here, which I
10:57guess maybe could happen, but I just >> I was just looking back to see like how much Mclofflin been has been used or had
11:05been used in Denver. And like if you go back to 2024, he had a bunch of games where he was at,
11:11you know, like 30ish 30 to 40% rushing market share. Like I feel like you could see like kind of a,
11:19you know, 20ish% to Watson and then like 40ish 35 40-ish a piece to Samson and Mclofflin with Samson getting more of
11:27the passing work.
11:29>> I could I guess I could see that. And if that is even in the range of outcomes, like if it's like a 4040 or something
11:35like that between rush shares with like Watson getting a little bit, you know, one rush attempt to Isaiah Bond on an
11:42end round and then four rush attempts for Jarrett Patterson. Samson, I think, is is unplayable because you could just easily play Jal on the passing downs,
11:51which is is what they've done before.
11:53And then I guess I mean maybe it is marginally worth talking about Bond at 3200. He actually had a 29% target share
12:01after Conpion left the game last week.
12:04He had two of the absolute worst drops you'll ever see. Uncovered. They both would have went for first downs. There was no one about to hit him. He just
12:12straight up did not have the concentration to catch it. But like I I would probably move Bond to like a 20%
12:19target share here minimum. I I mean definitely more targets than Jerry Judy.
12:24And I I mean I don't think we can do too like maybe maybe a 27% target share for Denzel Boston 32% uh which is what the
12:31base rate is with Conpsion off the field is is a smidge too high I think.
12:36>> Oh yeah. Yeah. Without a doubt. Um yeah I mean we obviously you expect Boston to go up without Conpion out there but all
12:42year he's been like the very efficient not really that highly targeted guy. Um, yeah. I think that with Bond, it's interesting. Like, most likely he's just
12:51that guy that pops up every week of the season once you get to this point where it's like, oh yeah, his point per dollar
12:55projection as a $3,200 wide receiver is good, but also he's probably going to score two points. Um, but he did clearly
13:01get a ton of routes. Ran 77% last week.
13:04Uh, he was al along with Judy, but, you know, clearly the beneficiary in terms of getting on the field once Confession
13:10went down. So, like that's there. Like you said, he did get targets last week for whatever that's worth. uh he can,
13:16you know, get a a carry or two. Um so yeah, I mean I would have zero confidence in him, but uh if you need
13:22just a dirt cheap flyer and like a large field Millie or something, he's >> I absolutely Judy.
13:30>> Yeah.
13:32>> Unfortunately, I think so is Judy.
13:34>> Yeah, >> the nice thing here is like All right, so Jerry Judy sucks. Isaiah Bond probably sucks, but like also there's
13:41nothing behind them. You have Malachi Corley as like the next guy up. Uh the Brown they have to have a long leash
13:47because there is nothing coming behind them.
13:49>> Yeah. Yeah. I mean maybe Fannon becomes a little bit more playable at 4100 with no concepts. We get >> and Tylen Wallace is on IR, right?
13:58>> I I think that's right. And they claim Jimmy Horn Jr. off of the Panthers waiverss. And then I mean James Pro Jr.
14:05He's been around for he's been around for quite some time. I mean I don't know. I don't think >> loading up on Ravens former wide
14:12receiver fives is an interesting strategy.
14:14>> Yeah, really good. All right, a pretty interesting game. Saints Giants. So, on the Saints side, we really have to ask
14:21ourselves the question about their offensive efficiency, which is like how many games in a row can they get the fantasy points required by scoring a
14:30bunch of fantasy points down, you know, 10, 14 points in the second half? has it's basically been the entire season for the Saints other than the Ravens
14:38game was Tyler Shuck playing from behind. Shuck got absolutely killed last week. 96 passing yards. Alvin Kamara also suffered a back injury in that
14:48game. I'll say if their backfield is down to Kendre Miller, CJ Donaldson, and and pick your poison of Ty Chandler, Zamir White, Ulyses Bentley, I would be
14:58marginally interested in playing Kendre simply because I I know he would have the goal line work. Johnson wouldn't get any of that stuff and Kre would also get
15:07some of the Alvin Kamar receiving work.
15:09And at 4600, I mean, if he cranks out 13 at one of your running back slots and you wanted to play like two highriced
15:18receivers, I think you could get away with Kendra at 4600 if Kamar does not play.
15:23>> Yeah, I agree with that because just lack of alternatives behind him. Um, and like we have seen them use him. He
15:30hasn't been particularly good. He had the fumble against Atlanta, all of that.
15:33But, um, I mean, you go back to the beginning of the year, they they had game one, him splitting carries with
15:37Achan when Chimera was out. Uh, so I think that obviously what Kendra Miller can do is still very up in the air, but
15:46at least the coaching staff seems to view him differently than the one that just wanted to cut the guy from the
15:52minute they drafted him.
15:54>> True. True. I go >> I just don't I just don't know if any of the Saints are really that playable this
16:00week. Like a lav is kind of at peak pricing. It's not a great game environment. They're playing, you know, outdoors. The shock stuff is like he's
16:08kind of been figured out a little bit.
16:11Uh they do probably play from behind here. I I don't know. I'm I'm I'm not feeling great about the Saints stuff.
16:16>> Yeah, I don't think there's anything that like looks great. Obviously is always going to give you a massive ceiling just because he's going to get
16:22targeted a ton. Um I I going back to the Bond thing for a second. Tylen Wallace is not on IR. So if he plays that does
16:29muddy things because he could actually >> run somewhere else.
16:34>> Yeah, they just have they just have a million like literally a mill that's very funny. They have a million Ravens
16:39cast off receivers. The Giants side of the game is a little bit more interesting first because I would guess that just due to like it's not a great
16:50week for running back in general.
16:51Scataboo played, I think, 72% of the snaps last week. There's going to be like an urge to get Scataboo in lineups
16:58despite the fact that his role is not all that good. They're playing Naji for some of the goal line stuff. They're
17:04playing Tyrone Tracy for some of the long down distance stuff. I I think 53% of the rushes, 6% of the targets for
17:10Scataboo looks about right to me. I I would not in my runs want to move that all that much more up. The thing I do
17:18want to move up though is the target shares for both neighbors and likely because this offense is neighbors first read, likely second read or likely first
17:28read, neighbors second read and then Fields, Mooney, Theo Johnson, like all these dudes the these guys are zeros. I I mean it was I think likely had 15
17:37targets last week and Neighbors had 18 depending on on which source you look at. And probably I guess the most exciting thing is that it does seem like
17:46Jamus is like jaming again. Like he's like, "Hey man, I don't care if I throw a pick. I'm I'm getting the ball out
17:51there."
17:52>> Yeah. I mean, he mostly sucked last week and then the Commanders just completely stopped playing any sort of defense with
17:57eight minutes left in the game and he was just hitting wide open guys up and down the field. Um but yeah, I mean at
18:03the very least he's targeting essentially two players here like you said. Um Isaiah likely for the season and this includes Jackson Dart, but
18:09nothing really has changed. Isaiah likely at a 28% target share for the year. Neighbors is at 27, including the game where he was banged up and barely
18:17targeted. Like the offense is literally just throwing to to these two guys. Um, as far as the backfield, like so right
18:24now the rushing market share is it's a little off because we have all four guys in and chances are single will
18:31be inactive. Um, but I do think it's a bad sign probably for Scataboo that Tyrone Tracy seems to be making his way
18:37slowly back into the rotation. uh 13% designed target design the sign carry share last week uh for Tracy his highest
18:48of the season you still had Harris at his 22% it knocked Scaboo back down to like 56%. I had been getting kind of
18:54aggressive with Scataboo um with Singleary inactive and Tracy in the doghouse and uh it being you know really a two-man backfield where Scataboo
19:02clearly had the upper hand but if they're going to turn this back into a threeman it's going to get really gross.
19:07>> Yeah.
19:08likely. I mean, so right now we have him at 24% and a 26% market share of the receiving touchdowns. I I think I'd want
19:17to move that closer to like 26 28 honestly, maybe even like 30. It feels like they are targeting him much more
19:24often in the red zone and in the end zone than neighbors. I I also thought there would be a chance that Theo
19:30Johnson would eat more into Likely's work in the red zone. That has very much not been the case um at all. So, I I
19:38think likely at 4,800 on DraftKings this week is probably going to be a guy who features in a ton of my lineups and and
19:44probably a guy worth playing in the flex in in a bunch of these lineups. Like, he is just I mean, he's scoring like a wide
19:51receiver. He's got he's got the target shares of like a legitimate wide receiver in fantasy football. One Yeah.
19:57Go ahead.
19:57>> No, I'll say the the caveat is he cost me like 50 to 60k last week by not having him. So, he will probably be
20:05awful this week.
20:06>> Yeah. Yeah. Well, very valid.
20:08>> That's how it goes.
20:09>> Probably the biggest question of the week is figuring out the target share discrepancy between DK Metaf, Jeremy Bernard, and Pat Forth. No, Michael
20:16Pitman Jr. very likely no Roman Wilson.
20:19He dislocated his finger. The Pittsburgh Steelers are top five in the NFL in PE.
20:24They've been positive pass rate over expectation in every game that they played this year. their pass to run ratio inside the five yard line is 100%
20:34pass 0% run which you just like basically like will never find that uh in NFL teams because Rogers is calling the plays. He wants to get a bunch of
20:43goddy numbers. I'm inclined to put Jeremy at like a minimum 20% target share. I would think I I'd here for even
20:52higher. And I mean the most interesting thing about the Steelers has just been how bad DK Metaf is. He's such a bad fit
20:59for what Rogers wants to do. I I guess at the end of the day that it just becomes so much easier for Jeremy to eat
21:05up volume. I I I think Yeah. Yeah. I think minimum 20% target share for Jeremy.
21:11>> Yeah. So do I. Um I don't really like obviously he can have a bad game, but I don't really include Bernard in that
21:18category of wide receivers, you know, the cheap wide receivers that always pop up. Like we saw it week two when Pitman
21:25was out um 76% route participation for Bernard and that was with Roman Wilson active. Uh then last week he got to 79%. And I'm not one
21:34that usually pays a ton of attention or any attention at all to coach speak and stuff because I think it's mostly
21:40But um when Aaron Rogers is like complimenting a rookie on how well he knows the playbook and how like he has the entire game plan down, etc.,
21:49etc., Um, I do pay attention because I think that matters a lot because Aaron Rogers is just going to do whatever
21:54Aaron Rogers wants and he clearly trusts the guy. Uh, he's throwing him the ball when he's on the field. He's just going to get on the
22:02field more because they have no other options anyway. Um, and it's not like he's somebody that we think was like a
22:07bad or not talented player anyway. So I think that he has like clearly a legitimate role here and a relatively safe role here uh that is very different
22:16than you generally get from wide receivers in that price range.
22:20>> Correct. And a lot of the times when you are down in this range I mean to your point the archetype of guy is either
22:26like total PPR scammer or the Bryce Lance style guy where it's like hey man hope hope you get one long touchdown
22:33because if you don't get that one long touchdown you're totally screwed. And I feel like Jeremy is just like I mean
22:38he's kind of just like playing $4,000 Michael Pitman Jr. like like really at the end of the day like he just is like
22:44a really normal good like he's just a a pretty good wide receiver. I mean you know I'm I Jeremy's probably going to
22:51score more points than Luther Burden this week who I'm going to have to find a way to like I mean I just I I'll I'll
22:57know right now like fast forward to Sunday afternoon. I'm like man Luther Burton he got he got nine and a half he
23:02got he got nine targets. He didn't do anything but >> Yeah. Yeah, I mean to me this is like a >> if he did
23:09>> this is like a wide receiver two talent just stepping in at 4K whereas like normally these guys from a talent
23:15standpoint are like well this guy's barely an NFL wide receiver but the three guys ahead of him are hurt and so
23:20now he's going to go out there run routes never get open and not get the ball but he'll project well. Um for
23:25Bernard I think it's like yeah this guy's like a legit NFL wide receiver that now is just going to be on the
23:29field a ton at 4K >> 100%. Yeah, Jeremy Jeremy absolute smash this week. I think the Carolina Panthers playing against the Philadelphia Eagles.
23:38We've got Coker back for the first time since week two, I believe, because he didn't play in that game against the
23:45Browns, then missed the next game, didn't play in that game against the Lions. And there's a there's a big thing you're going to have to answer, which is
23:54like how real is that Teteroy McMillan breakout? Was that T breakout because Coker wasn't active? Was it because they were playing the Lions? Is Bryce Young
24:03really this good? Because the Eagles defense, I guess the Eagles defense is fine. There their there issues of more Ben on the offensive side of the ball,
24:11but Coker, if you give him what his rates were from before the injury at 5,900, he is going to look like a really
24:17strong play. And then if you degrade Koker's projection to a little bit closer to like his career averages or where the average wide receiver too
24:24would be given the context of the slate with like you know CD Lamb's not on the slate, the Lions are not on the slate.
24:30Uh Jamar Chase is not on the slate. Uh Puka uh Puka is like the only like top tier wide receiver on the slate. No
24:37Justin Jefferson. Tet kind of by factor of the slate becomes one of the few wide receivers with like a 30point ceiling. I
24:45I don't really know how to handle this one.
24:48I view it basically as whenever McMillan and Coker are both active, they're both going to be like 22 to 25% target share
24:56guys. And obviously on a week- toeek basis, you could have one of them pop off and have a huge game. And I mean,
25:03that's even really what you saw going back like to last season once Coker really became a thing. Like you still had, you know, a week 16 32% target
25:11share for McMillan sandwiched by two games at 19%. like it's it's fluid, but generally they're both I think just going to land in that
25:1922 to 25% range where they both certainly have the upside for more. Um but yeah, I mean I think like obviously
25:25the last game for McMillan I view a lot more as yeah, Jaylen Coker was out and the other wide receivers on this team
25:32are Bryson Tmaine, John Mechy, etc. Uh yeah, McMillan got a ton of targets and he was in a great matchup. Like I don't
25:38think it's some thing that like is going to lead to oh Coker's back and now Coker gets a 12% target share
25:45because we're just going to force feed McMillan. Like I think you just pretty much go back to expecting you know 20 4
25:5125% McMillan 22ish% to Coker. Like I think that 16% is clearly low on Coker but um yeah where they both have upside
25:59but you are getting a $1,400 savings on Coker now which is pretty nice.
26:04>> I'm inclined to think Coker is a pretty strong play. I mean, we just spent a bunch of time talking about Josh DS and
26:09Coker demonstrabably has a higher ceiling this year than than he does.
26:14Also, you know, there is still a little bit of like input volatility with Bryce Young in terms of his like completion
26:20percentage, his A dot, his, you know, his adjusted yards per attempt. If we are buying the sample of this year for
26:27Bryce Young versus all other games of his career, he's being underproed. the Tetss being underproed. Like all these guys are are honestly kind of being um
26:37underproed. And I guess another small thing here is just like do we give Hubard this insane running back one workload or like do we think over the
26:45buy they're like all right AJ Dylan you need to be able to handle eight rushes in a game. I I mean because again Hubard
26:51in this role at 6300 on DraftKings assuming the role has not changed. I mean he's going to be top five in like
26:59uh expected fantasy points at the running back position. I I don't think there'd be much of a reason, but because he's not like an overly efficient guy,
27:07just for example, if we did move him to a 65% target share and an or a rush share and a 9% receiving share, that
27:14would be pretty significant for his range of outcomes because he's not like a huge splash play guy.
27:19>> Yeah, I mean, I'm inclined to think that he's still getting the vast vast majority because like one, the competition is AJ Dylan. Um, and two, we
27:28did see it wasn't with Hubard, it was Dowel, but uh, the two game like Hubard missed two games last year and they just
27:35went to 72 79% rushing share for Dowel.
27:38Um, and you know, it was kind of I think a similar situation even though it's a different player. Uh, we saw them kind
27:44of just lean right into that. Okay, the next guy's going to step up the same way the Steelers have with Jaylen Warren.
27:48Um, so like I'm inclined to buy into that. It feels very much like the Jaylen Warren stuff where like you're putting
27:53in the inputs and you're going like, "Well, I think this is what they're going to do and I'm going to feel really
27:57dumb if they decide to just run a normal like time share type thing." Uh because it's not like Chuba Hubard is like a
28:04true stud that they have to run every play. But based on, you know, everything we've seen, I think I'd rather I'm more
28:12willing to just like project Hubard to be used the way he's been used and then say, "Oh, that sucked. It was AJ Dylan
28:19week." than project AJ Dylan for some work that he's never gotten and then miss out on $6,300 Hubard getting a million carries.
28:27>> It's been a long time been a long time since AJ Dylan had that game in the snow in I think week 16 of his rookie year.
28:34Yeah.
28:35>> But it been a long time since we talked about how big AJ Dylan's legs are. So, the Eagles backfield, assuming that
28:41Barkley does not play, I I think he probably is trending towards playing right now, but let's assume just for the sake of this analysis that he does not
28:49play.
28:50I mean, first off, without Will Shipley, Damen Pierce played every snap. He he did not leave the field. He played every
28:56snap at running back. That will not happen this week. For my money, and my money in this conversation is not worth
29:03very much because I'm very biased, but Carson Steel didn't play an offensive snap last week. I would guess that they're going to try and give Jaden Blue
29:11a couple snaps on offense just to see if he has anything. Damen Pierce was the worst running back. I mean, 1.7 yards
29:17per carry last week. Like, he was just so he was so bad. I like worse than I actually even would have thought that he
29:24could have been in that situation. And the Eagles are like kind of a mess right now. Like the offensive line and Herz is
29:29not playing well and all this stuff. Not that you would play Jaden Blue at $4,300, but the only scenario you would
29:36play Damen Pierce is if you thought he'd literally get every running back touch.
29:40And this week with no Barkley, I don't think he would get every running back touch. I think you would expect either
29:46one of Steel or Blue to siphon off some of the work.
29:49>> Yeah, I mean, I think they would use a backup running back. I still think Pierce will dominate the touches. Um,
29:54but what is that worth when you're talking about Damen Pierce and a not good O line? Yeah. Yeah. And then I mean
30:02Dvontto Smith coming back playing with Wix Lemon actually Dallas Goddard at 3900. Um even if even if Smith does play Goddard is going to project is like
30:14pretty heavy chalk and I think probably should. I mean I don't think Dvontto Smith actually alters his projection that much. I think Smith in out probably
30:22alters the offensive efficiency projection for the Eagles, but like there there is a maximum ceiling of target share that one player can get
30:30unless you're Jackson Smith and Jigba, but it's really hard to find 35 40% target shares per players. You're also not going to see Lemon earn too many
30:39targets. This Darius Cooper stuff, it's like enough already of the he's got six targets and three touchdowns in the most recent two games. It's it's actually
30:47completely preposterous.
30:50Yeah. Um, Goddard with or without Smith I think very very good at that price.
30:54Um, like I was on Goddard coming into the season in in baseball and stuff because the numbers for him and Smith if
31:00you just take AJ Brown off the field have just been so good in terms of opportunities. So like I think even once
31:05you get Dvonte Smith back I mean 3900 is just I think a really dumb price for Dallas. Uh the thing that really stands
31:11out to me is that you know in his first game back last week he still went right back out. He ran like 69% of routes. uh
31:18which is you know BA he ran 72% week one for comparison. So he was basically right back into his normal role. He had
31:24a 22 and a half% target share which led the team. So we didn't see any sort of like easing him back in or him still
31:30clearly being hurt or anything like that. So, if Smith's out, like, yeah, Goddard will look, you know, better at the very least his ceiling will be
31:38higher because he could get more targets. But, um, one way or the other, he's going to look really good at 3900.
31:43And I think Smith at 6900 if he's back will look pretty good, too, because like he should just get tons of targets.
31:49There's really not much competition here for targets outside of Smith and Gddard from a talent standpoint. Like, you have Wix, you have Lemon, you have Cooper.
31:58Those are guys that you throw to because they happen to be on the field and you have nobody else to throw to. They're
32:03not guys that take targets away consistently from Devonte Smith or Dallas Goddard.
32:09>> Yeah, Goddard to me looks quite strong this week. The New York Jets and the New England Patriots. I mean, definitely
32:16worth discussing. What does the Jets passing game look like assuming Sadique does not come back from the concussion?
32:24and he was actually playing behind Mason Taylor last week anyway, but when he left the game with a concussion, Mason Taylor had been playing about like 1.5
32:33to one snaps over him regardless. AD Mitchell, I think, is going to be back from this finger injury.
32:39>> He he went under he underwent surgery.
32:42Uh so he's still weak to week that just came out.
32:45>> Okay. All right. Well, that's actually funny because I just read a conspiracy theory that he did have uh that he did
32:51have surgery on that. I mean, if he had had surgery immediately when it happened, he should be close to getting back anyway. Aaron Glenn had said at the
33:00press conference on Sunday that some of their guys who were going to be out are close to returning. I I guess this shows
33:05my frame of mind that I read that as Mitchell returning, not Bree Hall returning, whereas probably most people in that situation would have thought of
33:12Bree Hall first. I thought of 80 Mitchell first. Bree at 5,900. I actually did not realize he was so inexpensive against this Patriots team.
33:21I mean, the Patriots are favored by a lot and just absolutely smoke to the Raiders. But if this game remains competitive, I first off, I don't think
33:29Braille Allen, despite how well he played last week, is going to like meaningfully change how we should project the Jets running backs. I don't
33:36know. Maybe do do after playing so well with Bree out, would we increase Braille Allen's base rates from what we had them
33:44before? I would say probably a little bit because you combine him playing well with, you know, for the sake of this,
33:51assuming Hall is even back with him it being his first week back from injury, like it's just a natural logical spot to
33:57take a little bit of the workload off of him anyway. And then you can, you know, also do it by rewarding Allen with more
34:02touches. So, I wouldn't necessarily commit to that long term. Like I wouldn't say, you know, oh yeah, I think it's just like running back by committee
34:09the rest of the season or anything, but I would I would expect that if Hall's back, it's just a natural spot to give
34:15Allen a little bit more work anyway.
34:17>> Yeah. Anything else worth talking about on the Jets? Not really. Okay. The New England Patriots are going to be without
34:25Trevon Henderson for a couple weeks. Our first base shares have a 62% rush share and a 15% target share for Raandre. 19%
34:34of the rushes, 1.4% of the targets for Cory Ker. And you might say, "Hey, that is way too high of a target share." And
34:42then you look at the Patriots wide receivers and you're like, "All right, Romeo Dubs, Demario Douglas, Eftton Chisum, Kyle Williams, Hunter Henry, Eli
34:49Raren." Like maybe we could bump Raandre down a smidge. Like maybe maybe a little bit, but I don't I mean Raandre, there's
34:59just no way around it. He's going to be one of the best players of the slate.
35:03He's gonna be super chalk and I don't think it's chalk like worth trying to find a way not to play honestly.
35:09>> Yeah, I honestly didn't hear a word you said but I think it was about Stephvenson. Um >> yes, >> I I was I was reading sacks. I was
35:16trying to figure out what that noise was also. Um but yeah, I mean Henderson out like they obviously like Stephen like
35:22they've been using Stevenson heavily anyway. So it's not even like it's one of those situations where you know Henderson had like overtaken Stevenson
35:28and then he gets hurt and you have to decide how much they're willing to go back. Like it should just be Stevenson's
35:33backfield.
35:34>> Yeah. I mean, would you try and give any like like are you going to project Lan Larrison for anything? Uh Jamal Williams
35:43I think signed to the practice squad.
35:44Like I don't know what what would you do with those guys?
35:48>> Very minimal. Like I I would expect this to be sort of like a Chuba type situation.
35:54>> Yeah. Yeah. I think you're I think you're probably right. And then the wide receivers. I mean, if we leave Effton
36:00Chisum with 13% of the target, I frankly Eftton maybe should be a little bit higher than that. I mean, he was he was
36:06a full full fulltime player last week.
36:09Um, I I would maybe think about moving him up because Douglas is slot only. I I would honestly maybe even think about
36:16swapping those two in terms of of target share. I I'm kind of into Affton Chisum the third actually. Uh, and also for for
36:25Stevenson, like week one we had no Henderson. You got 18 carries for Stevenson, you got six for Connor.
36:30>> Yeah.
36:31>> Um, yeah. As far as Chisum, yeah, 63% ra participation last week. Kyle Williams was at 34. So, you did see like you and
36:39I had talked about it. Um, I said that I thought Williams was like dart throw playable in Millie type stuff, but we
36:46agreed like Chisum would probably be the guy that saw more in terms of routes and he did. Um, I expect that to continue to
36:52be the case because like you said, there's just with with Douglas not leaving the slot, it's difficult for him to get that many more
37:02routes because Hollands doesn't really run routes in the slot and Douglas doesn't run routes outside of the slot.
37:08So, it doesn't have necessarily much of an impact at all on him being on the field.
37:13>> Yeah, I I tend to I tend to agree with that one. I think the inputs there are fairly straightforward. All right,
37:19Chicago inputs. I mean, loads of questions here. So, I think Caleb Williams is going to start. So, then we have to start thinking about
37:27adjusting efficiency stuff because Vagent and Keenum were really bad and that stuff is going to flow into the efficiency stuff for all the pass
37:35catchers. DeAndre Swift has not played in a fourth quarter each of the most recent two games. part partly for scoreline effects and then partly
37:44because according to like some beat writers not all of them agree on this he's fighting through a hip injury.
37:50Manungai is not going to play. Roshan and he were rotating drives last week but Roshan is like so much worse than
37:58DeAndre Swift that they don't call as many run plays for him. And then we've actually each of the most recent three
38:04weeks, literally every last three games won a Burden, Adun or Lovelin has led the team in targets. Like it's it's swapped
38:13>> between the three of them. We've really seen Khalif Raymond's role in the offense diminish. Who could have possibly who could have possibly
38:20predicted that Khif Raymond's role in the offense would have uh diminished? My obviously my gut instinct is to move Burden up. Like my gut instinct is yeah,
38:29okay, Luther Burton has um a 25% target share and then you figure everything else from out from there. Rome did actually have like a decent game last
38:38week and they're they're using Burton a lot as a rusher. Burton I think has nine rushes on the year. Maybe maybe 10
38:44rushes on the year. So that is a little bit hard to figure out like because when wide receivers get rushes those that's
38:51oftent time like a substitute for like short screens and things like that. So you you almost just assign that >> in my mind. I assign that as like part
38:59of their target share. Look, it's a play designed to go to them. You just don't get the point for the the reception. I I
39:05don't know. You you're you're less biased than me here. You you tell me what you think.
39:10>> No, I mean I I think like I think that's the right way to look at it, but it's like one it sucks because you don't get
39:15the point, but also it is a lower upside play generally, you know, than a 15 yard target down the field. Um, but yeah, I
39:22mean I think in general the Bears just they're going to be a pain every single week in terms of guessing which guy it
39:29is. Like the only things that really stand out from last week that are maybe like repeatable are oh Dunce ran a route
39:3696% of the time that was the high for anybody on the Bears all season. Prior to that the high was 84% rout
39:43participation week one for Coulson Lovelin. So like that stands out. Is Odun just now going to start being on the field every play? I don't know. Um,
39:50Burton's been pretty consistently, not pretty, every every single week he's been between 64 and 77% uh, route participation. That's very similar to
39:58what Lovelin has done. It's very similar to what Odun had been doing prior to last week. Um, but like you know, Odun
40:05being on the field a ton, he is probably the worst of the three in terms of like from a fantasy standpoint. Um, he did
40:14have the highest target share last week.
40:15He was second highest the week before that.
40:18I think from a projection standpoint, like projecting target share, you kind of just have to end up a little bit higher on Odun based
40:26on the playing time and the fact that outside of the one week where Burden was at 32%, he hasn't been above 20% in any
40:33game.
40:36>> Tough. Tough.
40:37>> Like his his average for the season is 20%, but his median is 17 and a half.
40:43>> I don't love that. I wish it was more. I wish the median was much higher. I mean, if you're if you're looking to if you're
40:49looking to cope, if you want to join me on on team cope, you'd say they really have not played a normal game. Like,
40:55they got the the one blowout where they were up the entire time. They it was the most rushing yards the Chicago Bears
41:02franchise has ever had in a game. Then they played in the monsoon game against the Minnesota Vikings where Caleb gets injured at the end and neither team
41:11really had passing as part of their game plan at all. Then you get the backup quarterback games which are going to be
41:18a little bit different. And so you if you if you wanted to cope you could and you could say we don't really even know
41:25what Ben Johnson wants to do. Like we we we have no idea what it looks like because all five of their games have
41:31been really bizarre.
41:32>> Yeah, you could 100% I think even though it is week six now like cling completely to your priors on the Bears if you
41:38wanted to at least in terms of target share. Like I do think that it probably does matter that they haven't put Burden
41:44on the field more than you know 77% of routes or whatever. But like that's a high enough number where if you're prior
41:50coming into the season is that Burton's just going to be the guy that dominates targets. Uh you could probably still make
41:58>> it happy to cling >> to that prior. Um I'm I'm I'm h the only one I mean I'm not going to do any
42:05coping for Coulson Love. The guy this it's it's so funny man. He has played the most offensive snaps of any offensive skill position player in the
42:14NFL and is averaging four fantasy points per game. Just very funny stuff. And uh I'm I continue to be Roman Dunes was
42:21never good. So I'm I'm not going to not going to change anything there. Really honestly absolutely nothing to talk about on the Falcon side of the ball.
42:30They absolutely are who they are. Sheper just tweeted that Pennix is expected to play this week. On the Arizona side, I
42:37think we got all of our answers to what they're going to do without Marvin Harrison Jr. last week, which is Jaylen
42:42Brooks is promoted a little bit and they're going to play a bunch of 12 and 13. No real that, you know, it just kind
42:48of everyone there is what they are.
42:50However, we do have one question, which is they were five and a half point dogs last week, so it's totally fine for them
42:58to be chalk.
43:0013 and a half point dogs is a little different.
43:03Do we still think they're running the scam down, you know, 40 points, 30 point? Like like what would the score line have to be for the Cardinals to
43:12stop running the scam in the fourth quarter? I might be misremembering, but I think I got buried on a slate last
43:20year by the Cardinals down like four touchdowns with like four minutes left in the game or something like >> I mean Trey Trey McBride had three
43:29touchdowns last year that came in the final minute of games or as time expired.
43:35>> Yeah. I mean, like I just I I want to say it was against the Niners, but I don't want to I could just be completely
43:40like hallucinating, but like I feel like I there was a game where like it was the the scenario that you're describing
43:47where I'm like, oh, I'm fading these Cardinals guys late and uh they shouldn't be on the field and then it was just like, oh, they're just going to
43:56each get, you know, an extra 10 points in these last two drives. I mean, that is that is basically what like I mean,
44:01that was every Cardinals game that that like uh here's a good one. Kyler Murray has more wins as a starter for the
44:09Vikings than Jacobe Brassette has for the Cardinals, including LA in 18 games.
44:13Like it they're they're they got nothing. I mean, my instinct is to play Michael Wilson this week just because he will be so much less owned and the role
44:23is still like more or less the same.
44:25However, to to not be nearly as in on McBride because he's more expensive and because he there are better projecting tight ends like points
44:36per dollar-wise than there are wide receivers. Like the wide receiver pool is just thinner than the tight end pool in terms of like plays that grade out
44:43very well. So your penalty for taking McBride is much higher.
44:47>> Yeah, I agree with that because you also have Bowers on the slate. So like you have it's not even like McBride is the
44:52clear number one payup tight end anyway and then you have all the good point per dollar stuff whether it's likely or
44:57Goddard or whoever else. Um so yeah I'm with you there. Last week my approach was to play I ended up with more McBride
45:04than anybody else but I think a lot of that was just ownership based where you know you're playing tournaments where Michael Wilson's 45% owned and it's just
45:11like yeah I realize he's an insanely good play but also it's the NFL it's a wide receiver whatever. um assuming the ownership is going to come
45:20down maybe not to the 7% on the screen right now but uh somewhere between 7 and 45% uh yeah I think being back in on
45:28Michael Wilson despite the spread is fine um but again like it is a spot where you do want to keep in mind they
45:33have like a 19 point implied total you don't want to get too carried away with just chasing Michael Wilson games from
45:39last season >> I mean part of the reason why the Cardinals were such shock last week was slate dynamics in terms of not too many
45:46other great games, but it was also that they had a healthier total. I mean, their team total was 24 and a half,
45:52which is like a pretty good NFL team total. It's much lower this week.
45:56Nothing much to discuss on the Rams side. These guys are what they are. I think one thing that we got wrong in
46:04terms of the projection. I I most certainly did not get this wrong because I know ball is like Kobe Parkinson, Davis Allen, Max Claire, the these dudes
46:12play a different position than Tyler Higgby and Terence Ferguson. So Parkinson being in the lineup doesn't matter to Tyler Higgby. Like Tyler
46:21Higgby is competing for targets with Adams, Kairen Williams, and Puka. And what >> you got that wrong? I explained this entire thing on the show with Neil on
46:30Monday.
46:31>> Well, okay, there you go. You do know Paul.
46:34So Higgby is really more of the conversation is Tyler Higgby versus Kairen Williams target share. And frankly, I know Devonte Adams has been
46:43really good for our fantasy teams. He actually actually Devonte Adams has the highest advance rate of any wide receiver in the pool right now in
46:50baseball, but he's been target mogged by Higgby and by Ferguson in the games that Puka has played. In the games that Puka
46:59has played, the the Higgby Ferguson role has more targets than Devonte Adams.
47:05Yeah, obviously target actually >> the goal line targets are great, but yeah, I mean Adam Adam's in the three games with Puka this year, 21% 18% 13%
47:14target shares. Um, you're not going to project it that low, but yeah, he's not getting targeted a ton.
47:22Obviously again he is getting very high volume or high uh high value targets but uh yeah and also I was interested to see
47:31so last week or yeah Monday um Adams did drop back to 75% route participation puka was at 85 I was curious to see what
47:39would happen there with Parkinson back because um once they started using a lot more 13 personnel last year you did see
47:47like it didn't matter a ton for DFS because when they're on the field you know puka is just getting every single
47:51target where Adams is was getting a ton of targets. But the more you're using tight ends, obviously the fewer wide receiver routes there are available. And
48:00when you have Puka and you have Adams, a lot of times that just drives down both of their route participations. Um so
48:05yeah, Adams getting back to 74 75% last week isn't ideal for him either.
48:13>> Yeah. Yeah. Uh that is the Los Angeles Rams.
48:17>> Atwell also jumped completely jumped ahead of Mfield and Whittington. Not that that should matter outside of showdown slates.
48:24>> Shouldn't matter much. No input volatility worth discussing on the Chargers because they don't have anyone who is playable in daily fantasy
48:30contests uh at all. On the Kansas City Chiefs side, the only thing that you could discuss would be Jaylen Royals versus Cyrus Allen. And
48:41then also like Rice will have more targets in this game, but how much is that worth? What is the Chiefs pass to
48:47run rate going to be here? At what point do the Chiefs put backups in the game? I don't even know how you would start to
48:52model that stuff. Rice, assuming that he plays, and I think he will. I think I think his uh his hamstring stuff is is
49:00good to go. But Royals at 3,300, Cyrus Allen at 3500, if one of them were to become a full-time player, they would be
49:08marginally interesting. I think the answer is neither of them will. What what's going to happen is Noah Gray is going to play a lot. Um, no, no. That's
49:16so after Taekquin got hurt, they didn't run a single play out of 11, which is why Royals and Allen didn't play at all
49:22after Taekquin got hurt in week four.
49:24And that's probably their plan here.
49:26>> Yeah, I think that makes sense. Like, so, so like most of Thornton's routes are outside, but the Chiefs don't have
49:36like a designated stock guy. They don't have a Pop Douglas. So, they're able to just say like, "Okay, we need to replace
49:41these outside routes. We're just going to move Rice and Worthy outside and then use more Kelsey Noah Gray like you were
49:48saying. Um Jaylen Royals, you know, has run more routes than Allen. I assume he's ahead of him in the pecking order,
49:55but yeah, I don't view this as a SL as like an Fton Chisum spot where Royals is just going to step into like a starting
50:01wide receiver role.
50:02>> Yeah. Yeah, I think you're I think you're likely correct there. Little bit of weirdness with the Bills last week with no DJ Moore. They just basically
50:12stopped passing the ball. Like they basically just they were like you know what passing the ball what they they had 12 completions in that game. Palmer was
50:20also out injured in that game. Dalton Concincaid had his highest rout participation of the season. 76% rout participation. Got no like was just not
50:29involved at all. I I mean I think the answer with the Bills is that it's just James Cook and it's just Josh Allen. I I
50:37really wanted Dalton Concincaid to happen. I I was really buying into his expanded role and I was very pleased with the results the first two weeks of
50:45the season. It's also funny their their best offensive output of the season came when Dalton Concincaid was a big part of
50:51what they're doing. I I don't really understand why they're not throwing the ball to him.
50:56>> Yeah. I mean, maybe uh the Raiders will have somebody on their defense actually pay attention to Josh Allen and the
51:04Bills won't be able to just drop back and then run 20 yards with Josh Allen every play. Um, but yeah, I mean, I
51:10think at this point, Concage just kind of has to be viewed as like still a a high upside guy, like somebody that if
51:16he were to get 3% ownership while God and likely etc are getting, you know, 15%. He can be a contrarian play in
51:24lineups here or there because he is on the field. He is as good or a pass catcher as anybody they have other than
51:30DJ Moore. Um, like the ceiling is still there. He's still playing in this offense with Josh Allen as his quarterback. He's on the
51:37field a ton, etc. but it's just not going to consistently be there when you consider one that the Bills are a
51:42runheavy team. Two, the Bills are a super runheavy team when they get around the goal line. So, you're not getting any of the uh you know, oh, we'll throw
51:50it to our biggest guy on the field from the two- yard line because the biggest guy on the field is the quarterback and
51:53he's going to just carry it up the middle every play. So, you lose that touchdown upside for Concaid, you know, which is a problem as well. Um, but
52:00yeah, like I I don't expect them to be as runheavy as they were last week just because like that was insane
52:10and I think in part dictated by the fact by the way the Rams were playing defense and completely ignoring Josh Allen. But
52:18um yeah, expecting you know more an even bigger emphasis on running if DJ Moore's out I think makes sense. Um are
52:25you putting anything into the threats against James Cook?
52:29Not really because like what is the what is the alternative? Like the alternative is turning turning more over to Tai Johnson or Ray Davis. This this is a
52:38>> this is a serious football team that's trying to win a Super Bowl. I mean, I don't know. Maybe maybe it's more
52:42fantasy points for for Josh Allen. But I think there are there are some running backs where like, hey, JCM fumbles, guess what, buddy? Time time to learn
52:51time to learn uh you know uh McDonald's.
52:54But some running backs are just totally insulated from that stuff. And I would say, how about your boy JCM, by the way?
53:0111 for 82 and a touchdown and then just gets benched when the team's trying to win the game for Rashad White. There's
53:07nothing he can do. It's so it's that >> Yeah, it was it was uh the the opening drive like I didn't I wasn't even off my
53:12computer yet. I didn't even see it. But yeah, the opening drive uh the big 33 yard touchdown and then just basically
53:16gets benched.
53:18>> Yeah. Yeah. Uh and then I don't think there really should be any input volatility. Well, I guess I mean we have
53:24Ashton Genty just projected as the lead back right now and I think you got to nuke that a little bit because he's
53:28clearly playing through this planer fasciitis thing and it's it's like all right well what are we what are we doing here? What what what's happening with
53:37the I mean Gent basically should not play. He he he should not be he should not be playing. He is not healthy enough
53:44to play. But I don't know I don't know why they're I don't know what's I don't know what the deal is. I don't know why
53:50they would do this.
53:51>> Yeah, I don't I don't know why he's playing. My my biggest takeaway from last week and I I agree like Genty
53:57should be walked back at least a little bit. Um but it's the Mike Washington thing where they clearly do not trust
54:04him in hey big role. Uh >> well he can't he can't do >> he can't block.
54:09>> He can't block at all. He can't block.
54:11He can't block.
54:12>> Yeah. And that was, you know, that was the talk in the preseason like, oh yeah, he he can run, but you know, so I I was
54:18curious to see like what they would do last week with it being a spot where you assumed that they were going to need
54:23more out of the non-genty guys. And I thought that the way that they used illi compared to Washington spoke spoke volumes. If Genty were to like get ruled
54:32out or something, I assume you would just get like a [clears throat] nasty time share between the two and then Dylan Lobby is the third down like pass
54:40catching guy.
54:40>> Respect my goat. Respect my goat Dylan Lowby. All right, before we go, we do actually have a couple notes here, which
54:47is that Bree Hall is actually still listed as week to week and not practicing today. So then that leads me back to the Jets. I would think the
54:55touch distribution is going to look really similar to what it did last week where Isaiah Davis is clearly like he I
55:02mean I believe it was 60 snaps to 11 snaps between Brilen Allen and Isaiah Davis and and Brilen also ran way more
55:10routes. I would assume that comes back again. And Kenyan Sadik is still in the concussion protocol and no AD Mitchell.
55:18Would we be interested in playing Mason Taylor or Omar Cooper Jr. actually returned to practice today with that ankle injury so he could be eligible? I
55:28tell you, I would probably be pretty in to Omar Cooper Jr. at like legit like 2% ownership.
55:34>> Omar, if Omar Cooper Jr. plays. He's not somebody that I would necessarily like want in my small field stuff, but in
55:39like large field because we don't know like how involved he's going to be or anything like that and he still plays
55:45for the Jets, etc., etc. But there is I mean obviously Garrett Wilson outside of that there is no competition for this
55:51guy right now.
55:52>> Isaiah Williams had like the one good game and the long touchdown, but he's not like a target earner at all.
55:58>> Yeah.
55:59>> Um but yeah, and I'm with you. I mean, you know, with Hall not playing or assuming he's not going to play, like
56:04Isaiah Davis got one carry last week.
56:06Brilland Allen got or sorry, two carries last week. Brilland Allen got 24.
56:10>> All right. Well, sadly, we do have to have a conversation about the Chiefs receivers because I thought Rice was going to be good to go this week, but he
56:16is not practicing today. So, that means they're one, we're gonna have to have some uncom uncomfortable conversations about Xavier Worthy who like actively
56:24sucks, but I don't see any way he doesn't get six targets here probably.
56:30And then one of Royals, Allen, Ramigio, Justin Watson. One of these guys is gonna have to play and play a lot if
56:38Rice >> The answer is always Justin Watson somehow.
56:40>> I I don't even think he's healthy enough to play like he was not playing on any team before, but I I guess it could be.
56:47But there I mean I guess one thing they could do and maybe this is not totally out of the realm of possibility the way
56:53NFL teams are playing now is maybe you do just play Noah Gray, Jake Burning Stool, and Jared Wy. like maybe you
56:59legit play a bunch at third and you can get away with it against the Chargers for >> Yeah, I started to say that. I don't
57:05know if they if they would do it. Um my g my assumption is that Royals is ahead of um Allen like 64% ra participation
57:12week four for Jaylen Royals compared to six for Cyrus Allen.
57:16>> Well, Watts or basically out.
57:20>> The way I understand the way the Chiefs do things is that each wide receiver then has like their own backup. Now,
57:26maybe with so many guys injured with Taekquin and and Rice out, you you can't even do that. But I the way I understood
57:34it was that Royals is Rice's backup and then Cyrus is Worthy's backup. But again, when you're down to Jaylen Royals, Silus Allen, Nico Romeio,
57:42>> you I don't actually think you have the luxury of doing that. I think you're like, well, we just have to play whoever
57:47is best here. And Royals has been on the team longer, has more experience. I I >> Yeah. Well, and I mean like my my
57:54thinking even even in line with what you were just saying.
57:57>> So like we saw Rice, you know, basically not play last game and Royals essentially be his backup, >> Thornton now out also, you could just
58:05have Worthy and Royals as your two primary wide receivers and then what we were saying before where you have, you know, more Noah Gray as well and then
58:11you're mixing in Cyrus Allen and Justin Watson.
58:14>> Yeah. All right. Well, that's everything. Obviously, the projections are going to continue to be updated up until lineup lock. That was arguing
58:22input for week six. Make sure you like the video. Make sure you subscribe to the channel. And we'll be back with you.
58:28I'll be back with you guys tomorrow morning. Adios.
