0:27Jointhefoot.com. Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
0:33Oh, welcome in. The Fantasy Footballers Podcast, Wednesday, September 2nd.
0:36Jason Moore is here. Mike, the Fantasy Hitman. I'm Andy Holloway.
0:39And as always, full ducers. Well, not as always, but today, we've got them all.
0:44Papa Josh back there in the middle. Al Borland doing most of the work.
0:48And then Falcons over there as well. Just smirking.
0:51The smirking. The smirking falcon. Welcome into the show.
0:54Great one. Smirking wearing a merkin. We've got players we're afraid to be wrong about today.
0:59Players we're afraid to be wrong about. There's a handful.
1:02I mean, you draw a line in the sand and you're trying to figure out what you're supposed to be doing.
1:09Dude, mine... I'm... We will get into it, but guys, I'm getting the heebie-jeebies on this guy.
1:14As in, you're afraid you're gonna be wrong? I'm afraid we're all gonna be wrong.
1:19Okay. On the guy that you are bringing up today?
1:22Yes. I don't even know who it is. So it's somebody that we all...
1:27That's how I feel about my dude. But if we're wrong about this, it's going to be a disaster.
1:33Oh, no. Yeah. All right. I'm excited to find out who yours is.
1:37Yeah. We've got the UDK. I did a little poll this morning.
1:4150-50 is about people with drafts in the past, drafts in the future.
1:45That's wild. So if you're not in there and you need help, and draft day is coming up, and I know we've done this for 12 years.
1:53I know... I get to see what happens every single year.
1:57And 95% of you wait until the last 10 seconds before your draft to figure out your plan.
2:03I know the way it works. It is human nature.
2:06It is. So take advantage of the opportunity right now.
2:09Go to ultimatedraftkit.com and pick it up. You'll have the app with you on draft day.
2:14You can go and make all... I've made all my player marks, and I did some more this morning for our upcoming draft in League of Record.
2:23Players I want to make sure I don't forget.
2:25Do you highlight Sailors? Sailor Jerry? I didn't. Oh, really?
2:29No, you're saying that because I have Jameer Gibbs.
2:31No, not just that. Just because... I was saying it because this is a guy that I think...
2:37I would say the vast majority of our listeners right now literally don't know who I'm talking about.
2:43And that's why... So do you highlight players that you don't know?
2:47Especially if you call them Sailor Jerry? Is that what you do in your draft?
2:51I'm saying you highlight players that are so easy to forget, especially the ones that are really down in ADP that you
2:58might think about grabbing with your last pick. No, he's not one of those.
3:03Yeah, he might not be. He might be... But Emmett Johnson is.
3:07Oh, absolutely. That, you know, some of these players that ADP is are not going to move.
3:12I mean, you were making the point this morning.
3:15We're... Is Claiborne on that list? He should be.
3:18Yeah. Yeah, for Minnesota. The biggest problem is that there's kind of like a couple different ways to think about this.
3:24All of these like maybe high value backup running backs are not necessarily going to get projected for stats that are going
3:31to make you notice them in terms of our rankings and where they show up.
3:36Right. But if you highlight them, these are great players like we talked about in the depth episode on the top tip, the tips and tricks episode.
3:45There are... It's very easy to know who's going to get the work on a number of these teams if players go down.
3:52Yeah. And just for full disclosure, Jacob Saylor is...
3:55Yes. Who you called Jerry this morning. Yeah, Saylor Jerry.
3:58Oh, is that why you said Jerry Saylor? No, but Jacob Saylor's a player you've never heard of, a player I had
4:05never heard of, and I, you know, we're pretty serious about football analysis.
4:09He is like the backup now to Jameer Gibbs with Pacheco gone.
4:13And they're like... Until Kareem Hunt signs. Sure. And he should.
4:16They hope Pacheco comes back this year. Did you see that?
4:20Yes. Yes. And I was like, oh my goodness.
4:23So, yeah, I mean... All it really means is Jameer Gibbs is going to get...
4:27Oh, gosh. A thousand touches this year. He could have 105% of the running back share.
4:32He's gonna die. That's what I... I don't know how he makes it through this season.
4:37Don't say such things. Jameer Gibbs will not get hurt this year.
4:41Oh, is that... Oh! Oh, is that a... It worked for you last year, but yeah.
4:46Did I say it with huge nerves? Yeah. Okay.
4:49What else is going on? Listener League. I will say this, yes.
4:53Talk about the Listener League. The Listener League... Genuine, genuine, genuine, genuine thank you to...
4:58The Foot Clan, it takes us so much time to go through all these submissions.
5:02And, you know, it's a... We make the league 14 teams so that we can have as many people as possible in there.
5:10There's still so few spots that are actually available.
5:13I'm going to be getting back to everybody today, whether you made it in, whether you didn't, whether you were close.
5:19It was like... I just... It's always like emotionally devastating to watch these awesome videos.
5:24I just edited a bunch of videos from like my kids' college applications.
5:28And I know the work that goes in and I'm watching it.
5:32I'm like, you did so much work. You're so cool.
5:35You know the show. And you didn't make it because there's just so few spots.
5:40So I'm going to be getting back to the people...
5:43We are like Harvard. Thank you. Oh, absolutely. This is a Harvard...
5:47This is an Ivy League league. It's an Ivy League.
5:50Yes. So thank you. We'll be getting back to those who are going to be playing in the listener league with us this week or this year.
5:59I will be getting back to you today. And if you're like, I don't know how I could possibly get in one
6:05of the spots, that's the winner of the Megalobol.
6:08They're in this year because they won last year.
6:11So that's always your chance if you're playing in the Megalobol win and you're in our listener league next year.
6:18Quick question of the day from Garrett in Texas.
6:20Having a debate with the boys, in your opinion, what percentage of fantasy is skill and knowing what you're doing and what percentage is just dumb luck?
6:29And I guess Kyle put a new article on the site that is literally titled, Is Fantasy Football Hard?
6:35I haven't read it yet, but he was talking about he's been sitting on it forever and worked hard on it.
6:42I have a slack reminder to go read that.
6:44I'm very curious. Coming off of my super duper champ year, the answer to that question is no.
6:50Oh my gosh. It's not. Mute his microphone. Not luck, huh?
6:54It's just skill plays. No, it's fantasy football hard.
6:56Oh, I see. Luck versus skill. Obviously, there is some luck involved.
7:00Of course. You cannot possibly predict injury. Because there's luck in the sport of football.
7:05Absolutely. Injuries. Yeah, injuries or a tipped ball. Just the shape of the football causes like when it bounces, you're not 100%
7:12sure where that ball is going to go. I will say this.
7:16There's a phrase that we used to say all the time around the office that we never really said on the show.
7:23I don't know why it was like a, it almost felt negative, but it's really not.
7:28And I say this in my life all the time and I believe this.
7:32I believe it takes pure skill to make the playoffs.
7:35In fantasy football, if you're skilled, you're going to make the playoffs.
7:39If you look at who makes the playoffs year after year after year in your league, it's going to be the better managers, period.
7:47And then it takes some luck to win the championship.
7:50Absolutely. When you're in the playoffs and you're going up against good teams and you've got, you know, one winning out.
7:57So I, I feel like take skill to make the playoffs takes luck to win the championship.
8:02Now you have a note to read. The article is fancy football hard by Kyle Borgannoni.
8:07But did you know the estimated reading time on that article is 17 minutes?
8:12I'm out. I'm out. Give me a TLDR. The TLDR is that the good habits of fantasy football are easy, but the sport is chaotic.
8:19Okay. Well, I don't need to read that. That's like an average.
8:23Number two? An average bathroom visit for you. Oh, that's a, that's a below average for him.
8:29Two things, sir. One, time-wise, you're correct. Two, I'm a slow reader.
8:32Okay. If it's 17 minutes on average, that's a 30 minute burger for me.
8:37So just to be clear, you're a slow reader, but you're not a slow number two.
8:42Oh, I am. Oh, okay. I'm just slow. You could, what, you should call Kyle while you're in the bathroom and have him read it to you.
8:50That's a great idea. Oh, goodness gracious. That's a great idea.
8:54Kyle, get ready. Kyle's FaceTime. All right. Oh, no.
8:57Let's talk news. News and notes from around the league.
9:00Well, the Lions did place Isaiah Pacheco on injured reserve.
9:03So he's out at least the first four games of the season.
9:07Congratulations to Isaiah Pacheco, or to Jameer Gibbs. Kareem Hunt visited last week, didn't sign.
9:12I don't know how much Kareem Hunt has left.
9:15I don't know if he fits. I would have been shocked that they didn't sign him then, to be honest with you,
9:22because this isn't a surprise that Pacheco's, this news has been percolating through press conferences for weeks of like, kind of inferring
9:28that he's not even a part of the equation.
9:31So the money probably doesn't add up. Yeah. And you had Dan Campbell after the visit talk about Jacob sailors and saying like, we're confident in him.
9:40He knows the system. It's great that we have a good backup.
9:44You think that's bringing the price down on hunt?
9:47Is that what? Maybe. It has to be because this dude is not.
9:51I won't care. I just believe Dan Campbell. Right.
9:54Like, I don't know. He doesn't have the will to lie?
9:57I'm sure he does. And I was just saying like, if he, in fact, is a liar, liar pants as a lot of these coaches are.
10:05I mean, he's very good at it. I think there's a correlation to how much you cry to how much you lie.
10:12And he cries a lot. Oh. So if you cry, you don't lie.
10:16Okay. You can always trust the tears, Mike. Not crocodile tears.
10:20Uh, no Sean Moreno shout out. Uh, George Kittle traveling.
10:23Oh, baby. With the 49ers to Australia. Let's go, George.
10:26So it seems like George has had a couple of great practices and may literally start the season with a confusing level of production.
10:34Oh, that would be my guess. If he, if he's starting the season, we're not expecting full snap counts, right?
10:40No, no, no, no. It, it's going to take some time, but.
10:44And Australia is super far from the substation. Yeah.
10:47It's about as far as you can get. Yeah.
10:50That's like going as far away as you can.
10:52Um, it's great to see him there. I can't fathom.
10:56I cannot fathom. Like if you, I mean, this is the real push comes to shove right now for everybody listening.
11:02If you draft George Kittle and he is active week one, are you playing him?
11:07Oh, that's, that's a whole different discussion. We are.
11:10We're working on our, our, our, uh, week one rankings right now.
11:14So those will be, those will be up early this next week, obviously as next week is week one, but I, I
11:21think there are many other better options than Kittle week one.
11:24This was kind of why I thought the Tungus McBasketball could not work out for people.
11:29Mm hmm. It was the idea that Kittle starts or starts soon.
11:33And then both guys play. And like, you know, the problem is, is if you take Kittle, there's a draft price and
11:40you really can't spend another one in that range.
11:43It's like an eighth rounder for Kittle. Yeah. Yeah.
11:46I think in some leagues maybe. Yeah. Kittle's usually an eighth rounder, but it's going to be earlier.
11:51That's still, you're still giving up. You're still giving up.
11:55I think that's where his ADP has been. And I've been Jason, you're Jason's out on Kittle.
12:00I am willing to accept the, the cost and the risk and the slower start because of what George Kittle can become.
12:07Like if, if you want to, if you want to take George in the eighth and then stream the position for a
12:14few weeks, I'm okay with that because the players you're drafting later, like while you can get, you can piece together your,
12:21your production and be okay with your floor. I think that's where, no one represents what George Kittle can do.
12:27Should he make a, like it's a miraculous comeback.
12:30Yeah. But I would, the fact that he's already traveling says a lot.
12:34Week one, would you start a George Kittle or like Dalton Schultz?
12:38Yeah. That that's where I'll probably just roll Kittle and just see if I can get a touchdown.
12:44Hey, that's what, that was going to be my point.
12:47I'd say Hunter Henry, Juwan Johnson, Britain strange. I'd start Juwan Johnson.
12:51I would be willing to start the other two over Kittle.
12:54I would as well. Yeah. Yeah. My point being, you can't, let's say Kittle goes in as a six this weekend.
13:01I don't think that's unreasonable. He, this kind of news of him starting the season, I've seen him go in sixes in, in leagues that we're in.
13:09Um, my point being, you can't spend another seventh on Goddard or likely or an eighth or something like, like you're going
13:16to have to take a lower guy like Schultz.
13:19And then in that case, I might just start Kittle.
13:22Yeah. We won't, we don't have any reports yet.
13:25We don't even know if he's going to be active, but like what would not surprise me inactive in Australia?
13:31He'll be wild. Yeah. He did travel though. I mean, if he's traveling, I assume he's going to be active.
13:38I'm expecting him to be active. Uh, and it wouldn't surprise me if we get, you know, a limited snaps, but George
13:45is going to be there in the red zone.
13:48Yeah. And it's like, okay, give me a, just the red zone trips of George Kittle versus a full game of Dalton Schultz.
13:55Yep. I'll play with Johnson. Who's also on. This is why I'm just out.
13:59This is why I'm out on George. I'd like all of this debate, all this, like, Oh, what do we do?
14:06How do we, I don't, I don't have to do any of this.
14:10I just have an extra player on my roster and I'm starting.
14:14Kittle has been historically injury prone. That is going to be a component.
14:18And historically awesome though. Yeah. I get it. I know this is not, it's not surprising to me that Mike Wright would
14:25pick a 49er with a long injury history to be a league winner.
14:29Yeah. It's just that, um, we'll find out a fancy football luck or not.
14:33He was so good when he wasn't injured last year.
14:37Carnell Tate working out stiffness did not practice on Tuesday.
14:40Robert Sala said, not the thing you want to hear.
14:43Oh, come on, man. Uh, T Higgins tending to a heel contusion.
14:47Oh, it's isn't considered to be a major concern of week one.
14:51And both him and both him and Jamar were like, they're limited, but everything is just saying they're going to be fine.
14:58It's funny if Jamar is not practicing and T Higgins is not practicing.
15:02It's like one of them is like, cool. All right.
15:05Jamar just rest up. T is like, Oh no.
15:08Red alert. Well, uh, let's just continue the great news for Jason.
15:11Travion Henderson continues to rehab. Right ankle injury has not been cleared for full participation yet.
15:17All the more reasons. Disgusting. Top of season. Ramondre is a steal.
15:20Oh, I hate it. Jonathan Brooks mispracticed due to general soreness.
15:24Uh oh. Yeah, but she was back and Chuba.
15:27Uh, there was one report that he'll lead the backfield.
15:30What? I was going to ask who that was with a really bad joke about general soreness.
15:35If you had known, no, no, no. If you had gotten it in, I would have liked that.
15:41I was too late. I knew I was too late.
15:44So that's why I laughed to myself when Andy called me out.
15:48General soreness like as a character? Yes. Yeah. I'm not going to lie.
15:52That went through my head. The way it was said.
15:55Yeah. Oh, he's not going to do this because of general soreness.
15:59He said, I'm not allowed. Like an order from general soreness.
16:02Anyway, get in there, Colonel. I will say that's an order from general soreness.
16:07This really stinks for a guy. It's so, so.
16:10I love it. I tweeted this out. And Colonel tightness would have been furious about it.
16:15I tweeted this out, but it's really true. Like Jonathan Brooks missing practice for a guy who is like had one healthy season since high school.
16:23And Kendra Miller was off the field at practice just makes me go on.
16:28Oh, Marshawn Lloyd. It's coming. Kendra is back. No.
16:30For how long? No. What? He got hurt yesterday.
16:33Yeah. He's, he's, he's, he's back again. He's supposed to be minor.
16:37No big deal. I think he's going to be back today.
16:40Kyle Mononga week to week due to right knee injury.
16:44That's, you know what? There's a week until the season.
16:47Yeah. I mean, that means he's not playing week one.
16:50Yeah. I mean, Jen, pretty much like that's how I take Kyle Mononga.
16:54Um, or that's how Josh takes common on guy in a chopped league as his running back too, because.
17:00Oh, he did. Yeah. Yeah. But it's like, he likes not having the players at play week one, according to his draft.
17:07Was he following the, the, uh, Jeremy draft plan?
17:10Yes. At least I didn't know when, when I drafted.
17:13There's something extra special about the Packer fan taking Jacobs too.
17:17Yeah. Cause let's be honest. That's why you took him.
17:20Oh, he got Jonathan Brooks as his running back one.
17:23So that's good. Oh, does he really? No way.
17:26Yeah. But it's okay. Cause he's got neighbors. Well, it's only a chop league.
17:30If you're last week, one, he's got neighbors. So he might play week one too.
17:35So Roshon Johnson. He has neighbors. Yeah. And Puka and Puka.
17:38Look. And Kittle. Are you kidding me? What could possibly go wrong?
17:42All five of those guys could literally not play week one.
17:46Name your team week two. Cause you're. Oh, I'll name the team week two.
17:50It's all those players aren't waivers. Uh, for the Chicago bears, Roshon Johnson will be next man up.
17:56Okay. But I forgot about him. Yeah. Uh, also Deandre Swift.
17:59Yeah. Swift is a great pick right now. Khalil Shakir remains sidelined at Tuesday's practice.
18:04Okay. B. John Robinson. Uh, oh boy. The athletic reporting.
18:07Fantasy managers may not like how many goal line carries Brian Robinson gets.
18:11Uh, I, I get it. Is it more than, is it more than one?
18:16Right. Then I'm unhappy. Honestly, if it's more than zero, the fact that the backup there is, is prototypical bruiser.
18:22It was not like Algier. Algier's 225 pound back that was used around the goal line with success.
18:28So I, it's a differentiator between the Jameer Gibbs.
18:31He doesn't have that on a good team. Yes.
18:34For sure. I mean, that's why he's the RB two versus RB.
18:37Well, I mean, it used to be a debate.
18:40It's not anymore. Gibbs is in a tear of his own.
18:44I bet we come on this show this year and we are upset a couple of times, but like Tyler Algier had
18:5119 carries inside the 10 last year. I doubt that's going up for Brian Robinson.
18:5519. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's inside the five.
18:58If that's the role that they're going to use.
19:01Um, it's just sad for the like 20 touchdown upside potential.
19:05Cause B. John could lead. Like he's, he's been, I think number three at running back.
19:10Yeah. Do you think the Falcon score 20 touchdowns this year?
19:13This is a team. Um, probably, but yeah, right now it's not feeling great, but that's why to a posted affirmations to him.
19:20Oh no. Someone. Someone, I have to believe it's someone else who has access like a family member or a PR person
19:27who was like, you got this to a, we love you has access to his account and didn't log into their account
19:34and was like giving two of that affirmation. But it was to a commenting on his own IG post of like, you
19:41got this to a, you're so good. We're with you.
19:45Uh, Brooks is like, Oh my gosh, that was real.
19:48Yeah. That was real Brooks. The nice thing is, is it was a message of like, like a family member.
19:54If it had been like two is underrated and he's never performed.
19:58He'll perform this year from two. And that would be, that would be worse.
20:02He didn't, uh, what Kevin Durant. Yeah. Um, by the way, Mike, um, how'd your boy do last night in his.
20:09Oh yeah. Bring that up in his first high school football ever.
20:13Thank you, girl. I just, I found out last night that high school teams in Arizona are allowed to play preschools.
20:19I did not know. I did not know that.
20:22Uh, I appreciate you bringing that up. Uh, my boy had a, uh, scoop and score off of a punt block.
20:29Delightful. He had his own blocked bond. Spectacular. And then he had an interception.
20:33Oh God. How did he do in the second half?
20:36Uh, that was, well, that was all in the first quarter.
20:40And then the, the, the team they were playing, which we've never seen.
20:44I don't like still to this day, that they gave up at halftime.
20:48They was like 54, nothing. It was 56 to zero.
20:51Oh brother. All right. Wrecked. Wanna know, but a, thank you for it.
20:55It'll probably get harder. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
20:58For sure. But it's like, that's awesome. A week one is like, okay, we'll take it.
21:03We'll take a freebie. Get some confidence. Hey, in Arizona, if you only have to go for two quarters of outdoor football
21:10and you get to go home, that's pretty good.
21:13It was a win. Tell them to shut that thing down early.
21:17All right. Yeah. Congrats to your boy. Let's take a break.
21:20And then we'll talk about players. We're afraid to be wrong about this should be fun.
21:26Players. I'm afraid to be wrong about spectacular spectacular that tone.
21:29That, uh, kind of scary motif is how I feel about these guys there.
21:33We're all talking about one name as kind of a main pick of players that we have ranked a certain way.
21:40And then we're kind of afraid to be wrong about, but we'll throw in another name or two.
21:46Who wants to start? I'll start. I can start.
21:49Um, I've been changing my opinion a little bit lately, but just so I still haven't drafted him.
21:54This is a guy I've pretty much been out on from the moment that news broke that he should or could be very relevant this year.
22:03I was like, I don't believe it. It's DJ more DJ more new wide receiver for the Buffalo bills is a player
22:10that is like it is it Stefan digs part two years ago, Stefan digs.
22:14He had a down year in, in Minnesota. He went from being a wide receiver one to a wide receiver two in fantasy football.
22:22Then gets traded after that down year to the Buffalo bills.
22:25And at that point in time, Josh Allen was not a, it's not really a down year.
22:30Just, I mean, he went from the wide receiver 11 to the wide receiver 21.
22:35He wasn't bad at all. He was like 17 yards.
22:38It was the most yards of his career to that point.
22:42Yeah. Just out of curiosity. DJ more is like what?
22:4529, 29. And at that point days was 27.
22:4827. Correct. So I am, I am pretty out because you know, I, I went back and I looked at digs and
22:55I was like, how did the world was very down on digs.
22:59Digs was very similar to DJ more. I want to say he was a seventh round pick in fantasy football, maybe a
23:06six round pick about where DJ more is going after that trade.
23:09The bills weren't seen as a juggernaut offense. And at that Josh Allen wasn't Josh Allen yet.
23:15Right. And so that was part of like the, the downplaying.
23:18I was very bullish on Stefan digs that year.
23:21That was, um, that was one of my, probably one of my biggest wins ever because he was a league winner finished as the wide receiver three.
23:30And I, I worry that like, okay, we've got a guy in DJ more who has always been a very good wide receiver who lacked a great quarterback.
23:39And while Caleb Williams last year looked pretty good, that's still not what Josh Allen is.
23:44He is going to play with his best quarterback of his entire career on a, you know, we just drafted yesterday, like
23:51the top offenses Buffalo is if they're not one, they're no lower than five.
23:55They are absolutely one of the elite of the elites, the S class tier.
23:59Um, and so it's like, okay, now he's the wide receiver.
24:03Number one camp highlights have been great. Uh, all of the buzz after when he first arrived, it was like, Oh, he's
24:10having trouble getting on the same page with Josh Allen.
24:13He's got to learn the playbook. It seems like he did because practice after practice, after practice, he's leading the team in targets.
24:20He's dominating the defenders. He's looking great. And part of me is still like thinking Alan Robinson vibes later career goes to
24:27the Rams and in practice and in these camp highlights and the one hand, you know, in zone touchdown.
24:33It's like, he looks good. He was paid money.
24:36DJ Moore was traded for with good capital. They paid a lot more than the going rate was assumed.
24:42Then they paid the man money. He is there one.
24:45It should work for fantasy. But what I saw last year from DJ Moore was like, you know, he didn't break tackles
24:52the way that was his trademark forever. He is older, you know, 29 years old is like, that's the time where you start to worry.
25:00So I have not been bullish on him. I haven't been in on him.
25:05I haven't drafted him and I'm worried I'm going to be wrong because if it hits, if he's just, if he is
25:12a good wide receiver for the Buffalo bills with no target competition, like at the end of this year, you can be
25:19like, how did we not all know that he was going to be a wide receiver one for fancy?
25:25Because his upside is like top 10 wide receiver.
25:28Yeah, we have, uh, we, we do have the back of our minds, the Amari Cooper trade that didn't do anything.
25:34We also would not have changed that opinion about the bills offense.
25:38If he didn't exist there. Correct. You would have thought the same thing.
25:42So there's a lot of reasons to be like, we've watched him succeed Josh Allen with no wide receiver one, which is a bunch of options.
25:50You liked on Kincaid now Shakir being out to start the year potentially also interesting.
25:55Yeah, there's, um, there's a lot kind of swirling around there and it's really like if you, if you want to make
26:02the bull case for DJ more being fine and being good for Buffalo, I think you also can look to Chicago didn't want him.
26:10No, Chicago inherited him Luther burden, Colston Loveland, Roma duns.
26:13A. Um, it didn't seem like they ever schemed him to his strengths.
26:17They used him poorly last year. 30% of his routes were slants.
26:21I'm sorry. 21% of his routes. So few of his routes were slants, crosser screens.
26:25Like that's his, what he does. Well, they just didn't use him the way that he has always thrived.
26:31They wanted to move on. They wanted to have this new trifecta of Loveland, Odunze and burden.
26:37But gosh, it, it just, it didn't feel like, like Joe Brady is a big part of this, right?
26:43The new head coach, former OC for the bills who used to be the OC back in Carolina.
26:49When DJ Moore was in his prime, he's like, he was talking about how in 2025, I saw the same player.
26:55I didn't see anything different. So he thinks he's getting 2021 DJ more.
26:59I just don't. Was he watching 2021 tape? He's like, I could, he has, dude, he's looking great.
27:05Also this scheme is awesome. Like I, it's a good name to bring up.
27:09It is a good name because I think as a show we're lower than consensus.
27:14The situation freaks me out. What I would, uh, to, to calm you, Jason, or just to be like, this, this is why I'm thinking what I'm thinking.
27:23Stefan Diggs in terms of yardage was coming off of the highest yardage of, of his career before he got traded to the Buffalo bills.
27:31His receptions were, were way down, but he was up at 18 yards of reception.
27:36Like it was a very solid year for Stefan Diggs that last year for DJ Moore was literally his worst year ever.
27:43And I, I'm on team Ben Johnson and it's like, if Ben Johnson isn't figuring out how to maximize you, that's really strange.
27:50Right. You know what I have? I can't imagine it's a Ben Johnson's like, I just don't, I don't like you DJ Moore.
27:57It's like, no, he, a guy who they would, didn't he sign an extension like before the season?
28:03So yeah, something, something had just come up where he got more money.
28:07I can't recall the timing of it, but so that's, are you guys in or out on DJ Moore?
28:13Like personally, I'm in the same boat. You are where I can see it going both ways.
28:19I mean, where is his ADP? I'm looking wide or she are 22.
28:23Yeah. And I've got him at 25, a fifth rounder.
28:26He's Jason at 26. We're all below ADP. He's a fifth rounder on sleeper and Yahoo at a sixth on ESPN.
28:32I'll tell you what it's transitioned from being completely out on him to me actively trying to stack him with Josh Allen when I can.
28:40That is where I end up. If I ever am in a mock or in some kind of draft where I do
28:47end up with him, which is rare, it's always, I've never drafted him without having Josh Allen on the roster.
28:54All right. The next player we are afraid to be wrong about, Mike and I picked the same position.
29:00You guys picked pretty much the same type of, like the same archetype player.
29:04I have been the, I've been on this, the downside of the Jackson dart argument all off season.
29:10So that is the name that I'm most afraid to be wrong about a 23 year old running quarterback.
29:16And part of the argument against Jackson dart is an inexact predictive situation where like you can't predict injury.
29:22Like that's a part of the factors of the Jackson dart equation for me.
29:26He's already been in. You can predict that Jackson dart will get hurt.
29:30You can predict foolishness in the back. And he's already been in the blue tent this preseason.
29:36So, you know, you can blame everything else, but it's him too.
29:40Like he, he holds the ball a long time.
29:42He likes to make plays happen and he runs with some reckless abandon that caught it caused him to be in the
29:49blue tent in half of his starts last year.
29:52I don't want to over or under think the situation.
29:55I have been more nervous about it. Now the irony is I'm looking at ADP.
30:00I'm basically pretty much at ADP. I'm even little, I'm a spot higher.
30:04Like, you know, you guys are much higher or Jason is, but I just am very worried about anything on this offense
30:11working out to start the year neighbors. It seems more and more likely he won't start the season.
30:17Um, at certainly not with a full snap cannon at a hundred percent.
30:21And, um, I am worried about starting the year.
30:24Well, I, uh, you've got an interesting Dallas matchup in week one.
30:28That should be really fun. But then you go and play the Rams, stay healthy against miles Garrett and Aaron Donald in
30:35week two is cam Scadaboo going to be the main guy.
30:38Are they going to have to rotate this thing?
30:41Um, but I'm afraid to be wrong about him.
30:44I mean, you, there are certain players that it's like kind of funny.
30:48Cause a lot of these players like Jackson dart is another player.
30:52I'm afraid to be wrong on we're on, you know what I mean?
30:56Like on the opposite side, because I'm kind of bullish.
30:59I like the shot in the ninth round of a young mobile quarterback who was basically scoring 20 points a game without
31:06neighbors last year in a rookie season over and over and over.
31:10But like, I'm not once upon a time he was on the list on the board for my guy and went back
31:17and I watched all the tape and I looked at the schedule and I dug as deep as I could.
31:23And I go, nah, nah, dude. Uh, I'm going to draft him.
31:27I'm going to, uh, well, he's getting cheaper and more affordable in the last two weeks.
31:32He's dropped a lot in ADP for all these.
31:35I don't know why just to, you know, people afraid, people afraid, people, people have been compelled by my arguments.
31:41They're so compelling. Yeah. It's like to use the same word twice in arguments, which kind of reemphasizes it like Shakespeare over here.
31:49Yeah. Um, yeah, I, I think he could turn into a league winning type, but my goodness, he's like, he's just not a good enough quarterback.
31:57It's kind of, he fits the category of could bust, could be fine and could be great.
32:02And there's those guys are all players were afraid to be like adjusted fields.
32:07You know, it's like, man, he can score a lot in fantasy, can run like crazy, but is he a good enough quarterback?
32:14Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. And I don't know if I know he's a better quarterback than Justin fields already.
32:21The naggy Harbaugh top division. We'll see. Nagging at you.
32:24It does. Thank you. Very compelling. All right. The, the player I'm more concerned about, uh, just what has been coming out of Washington camp.
32:32Jayden Daniels quarterback of the Washington commanders, because the question is what if the rookie year was just right place, right time.
32:39And it was pure magic. And that is the best that we are ever going to get from Jayden Daniels.
32:45You know, the, uh, we've, uh, I was in fantasy football, I guess he's going as the QB six.
32:51So it's not like we're just elevating him right back to being a top tier fancy quarterback.
32:57Cause I think he was like QB two or QB three last year, but the vibes out of Washington have, they've been
33:04a very bad, you know, we, we brought up this report from Nikki Javola of that quote.
33:09This is the worst I've ever seen the commanders offense in years, inoperable offensive line.
33:14Yeah. Okay. That's a, that's a gigantic red flag.
33:17I know he's mobile, but when your offensive line is trash, it's just helpful.
33:21It's very, very difficult to re to come through for fancy football last year.
33:25Even when healthy yet, Jayden Daniels was running a ton, like the floor, you know, it was there, but but the passing numbers there, they were not spectacular.
33:34He was, you know, we had a couple of 20 point outings.
33:38We, we love to see that. But in terms of him versus the field, he was a top 12 quarterback in one of his healthy games.
33:46He was QB six in that week against Chicago, a defense that, that people had some real fantasy success against just a little bit concerned.
33:54You have, it's a whole new offense, right? You like his first couple of years, you had cliff Kingsbury and they're bringing
34:01a very college friendly type of a system. And now the reports are, well, Dan Quinn wants more pro.
34:07We want to be under center more, which I understand.
34:10Like when you, when you take your quarterback and you're just playing in shotgun, it really nerfs a lot of what you're
34:17able to do with play action with actually just running the ball.
34:21And then you have, and David Blau, it's his first time.
34:25David, blah, blah, blah. It's just, what if he's just not a good play caller?
34:29Even if he's decent, even if he's decent, is he as good as cliff Kingsbury for fantasy?
34:35Probably not. It's like, check out Philadelphia. Philadelphia had marvelous fantasy football pieces for us to draft and enjoy.
34:41One O, Kellen Moore comes in. Everything is great.
34:44Kellen Moore leaves. We get a new OC. It's bad.
34:47Like first time OCs can, it can turn upside down.
34:50And I'm just starting to get a little bit more concerned about maybe we need to hedge here.
34:56And then on top, his top two weapons are Terry McLaurin and Stefan Diggs.
35:00What's wrong with that, Mike? Years gone by. That's fine.
35:03Uh, we have not had two wide receivers who are both 30 or older finished one, one and two on a team
35:10in receptions since 2010 when Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson.
35:13But the run game will, will kind of open up things for him.
35:18You know, don't you think? Uh, what do you want to talk about?
35:22Behind the offensive line with Bill and Chad White.
35:25Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill. So just, I'm, I'm starting to get a little bit more concerned that we're, like I'm still drafting
35:31Jane Daniels as I was, as I have been.
35:34But, uh. Where are you at? Cause I. A little scary.
35:38I find myself, we haven't really talked about him much.
35:41I'm glad you're bringing this name up. He's just been ranked really high.
35:45He's been ranked really high. He's been ranked really high in my rankings.
35:49Like I, uh, you know, you stat people out and you go, this is the, the type of ball he plays.
35:56This is what he's going to end up having to run for in this offense, which is helpful for fantasy.
36:02Um, and the stats say what the stats say and he's been decently high.
36:07But every time I'm on the clock where you're drafting him.
36:10Um, and it's been lower than, I mean, there's been the argument of this year, these really elite type of quarterbacks, get them in the sixth round.
36:19So in, in one hand, that's like, that's really great.
36:22Jalen hurts, uh, Daniels in the sixth round, fantastic value at, on the other hand, it's like, I, I keep passing on
36:29them cause there's players, you know, Jamison Williams and Darian Price and, um, you know, Roma dunes.
36:34It's like, I like those guys and I'm not sure that the commander's offense is going to be like, I can see them collapsing.
36:42Right. These are not questions for quarterbacks that we have anointed.
36:45Great. All the problems and objections to, to Jaden are not things that you necessarily are bringing up about the great producers at the position.
36:53We just don't have a long enough track record with Jaden.
36:57And so some people are saying, yes, he is that and he'll be fine.
37:01And adding digs is a huge improvement as old as digs is.
37:05On the other hand, some people are saying, well, maybe it's not proven yet a great, easy schedule, right?
37:11This was the, this is the Drake may thing where like Drake may has his breakout, but the schedule was juicy and
37:18that's what it was for Washington two years ago.
37:21Last year. Part of the problem is when he actually played, he wasn't that good.
37:25Yeah. And so it's like, but he didn't have weapons.
37:29He didn't have Terry McLaurin for most of those games.
37:32He obviously didn't have digs. I will say you had an old Debo and I can make the argument for Jaden Daniels to be good.
37:40We're just, we're bringing up the like, Oh, it's, is he an elite quarterback?
37:44If he is, he will be fine. I find myself not drafting him for a lot of the reasons you're outlaying and,
37:51and kind of just passing on him for other options.
37:54However, when you look at like what wins a championship, it's those game breaking guys with extreme upside.
38:00And there is an obvious path for Daniels. Like if you told me that he's number one year, he's number one.
38:07He's like, of course he could rush for, there's only three guys in the league this year that have a legitimate capability of rushing for 800 yards.
38:15And he's one of them. And if you, if you end up rushing for 750 plus yards and then you're a good passer, those two things come together.
38:24Like what happened for Lamar Jackson twice in his career, you just win.
38:28And so, you know, it's worth risk is going to be higher because he is just like dart.
38:34He could get hurt. He's, he got banged up multiple times last year.
38:38And they were like, if you, if you run recklessly, you're at risk at his size.
38:43He's tinier than dart. Darts got the, at least some meat on the bone when we, when you know me, when he
38:50was, when he was healthy is what we're saying.
38:53If he was still running, he was on a 17 game pace in his healthy games of 742 rushing yards.
38:59Yes. That's still an absurd number. Um, but it was weeks three and four.
39:04He was out with a knee injury. Then week eight was a hamstring injury.
39:08And then the rest of the year, it was an elbow injury.
39:12Oh yeah. He came out and popped his elbow.
39:15So running it's, you know, you're, you're, of course we're not trying to freak people out of like people have drafted, people got drafts coming up.
39:23We're just, I'm, I'm, I'm moving that risk rating up.
39:26No, the, the, the league winning upside is still there with Jane Daniels.
39:30You know, I would, I always say it's about how much risk are you willing to accept?
39:36And could he be a quarterback you draft and you have to find another quarterback?
39:40It certainly could happen. All right. We'll take a break.
39:44And we got a couple other names, maybe get into some mailbag.
39:47All right. Uh, we, we won't spend as much time on these things, but another player I'm afraid to be wrong about is Saquon Barkley.
39:55I think Saquon is one of those guys that you're like, you know, uh, I, I remember the very end of the season.
40:03He finally had a long breakaway run. Remember the, the, the Superbowl year.
40:07He had a bunch of them, but it was not the beginning.
40:10It was the end of the season where you got that breakaway run from Saquon and you said, that's that same guy.
40:17You know, last year he had 13 carries inside the five and only one rushing touchdown.
40:23That seems like some positive regression on the way.
40:25New offensive coordinator who Jason likes. There's part of me that's like, I don't know if he's any good, but he was a good bit.
40:33The Saquon Barkley equation is, is interesting to me.
40:36I just feel like he could be one of those guys where you're like, like if he competed in the top five,
40:43it's not a shock, but we're all kind of not in that same top tier category this year.
40:49Yeah, it is top there. They're moving, uh, hurts under center, which should really help Saquon Barkley.
40:54Then they are, they're much healthier on the offensive line, which should really help Saquon Barkley.
40:59And he's Saquon Barkley. He was the number one running back two years ago, but I have, I haven't drafted him anywhere.
41:06I mean, have you, have you drafted him? I have not.
41:10Yeah. I mean, when you write in his range is the, like, I either have to take, if I want Chase Brown
41:17or Ken Walker, his name, I take them over Barkley.
41:20And I have done that every time. His name carries a lot of weight.
41:24We were on a, what show was it? Uh, we were doing a spot with Greg Rosenthal.
41:30Yeah. Greg Rosenthal where he, he made the argument to take a third overall in fantasy and I'm just not there.
41:36I mean, it's possible though. Yeah, no, I, I get it.
41:40That's why you're afraid to be wrong. Here's the, the bonus mention for me of the player.
41:45I'm super afraid to be wrong. Cause I am O U T on a player.
41:50It's so good. And it's Tucker craft. Like Tucker craft going in.
41:54You should be afraid. Yeah. I would be terrified.
41:57Uh, you know, he's a, cause you in fact are wrong.
42:00I don't think so. I mean, obviously I don't think so, which is why I'm not drafting him anywhere.
42:06He was that dude. He was the tight end to and fantasy, uh, in points per game before his injury in those
42:13first eight games, he led the team in fancy points per route, run targets, per route, run yards, per route, run, first
42:20downs per route, run yards, uh, after catch per reception, red zone targets, like he was awesome.
42:25But then he got a, he tours ACL and it was like, uh, uh, hopefully he's ready for week one.
42:32We've seen him running straight lines and whatever. And then there was the comments of like, well, he'll for the first half
42:39of the year, he'll kind of be on a snap count and then they'll let him loose the last half of the year.
42:46He costs a lot in drafts. He is not cheap.
42:49He's not like, Oh, because of the ACL, I'm getting a 10th round pick.
42:54I would, I would do that. You're, you're giving up a prime running back or wide receiver to take a player.
43:00I'm going to be a player who is coming off an ACL who has never done it.
43:06Like it's still a projection and I'm just not willing.
43:09Dog. I agreed. Agreed. That's why I'm terrified. I'm afraid to be, I'm afraid to be wrong.
43:14Um, if he can, I hope I'm wrong because Tucker craft being awesome and healthy is good for the NFL.
43:21Good for fantasy football. Good for Jordan love, but I'm out.
43:24If he can only run a straight line, that's in fact, good enough for Tucker craft.
43:29Mike, what's one more name from you? I'm going with Brian Thomas jr.
43:33Of the Jacksonville Jaguars of it's just, we would all have it completely upside down.
43:38And there's just going to be so many sad people of we're all placing our bets on the Jags and Brian Thomas
43:45feels kind of like the last, the last one.
43:48Yeah. We're not even allowing wide receiver of success going in the seventh round and everything is Parker Washington.
43:54The part we did a, um, I saw Parker Washington.
43:57So let me say this real quick. Okay. He in a, in a $100,000 by Oh, yep.
44:02Yeah. Parker Washington went in the third round. Yes.
44:05The, we, we did our, that's how in the, this week's dynasty pod.
44:09We did some, some bold predictions for dynasty and Kyle who hosts that show.
44:14He put out a call and he's like, let's see what the foot client is feeling.
44:19People are sweaty for Parker Washington. He's like, it's just, it's so many people are calling their shot for Parker that it's, it no longer publicly feels bold.
44:28Cause everyone's just saying it's going to happen. Could you imagine at the end of the season, two years ago, the end
44:35of the season where Brian Thomas jr, the first round drafted wide receiver who finishes, I think he was a wide receiver
44:42seven, his rookie year and was unbelievable. Like 1400 receiving yards.
44:45If you told me that Brian Thomas jr. And Parker Washington, both are healthy from here on out.
44:51This is not an injury issue. And in the near future.
44:54Oh my gosh. One is going to be the darling.
44:57And one is going to be just this, uh, you know, undraftable loser.
45:02Wild that that flip has happened. Is this a, is this a, they both peed in the fountain at the same time.
45:09Oh, you little getting freaky on a Friday. Yeah.
45:11Do we have got a body swap happening? Yeah, I think so.
45:15I have no other good explanation. Like, do you guys remember the beginning of last year and like Parker Washington was doing
45:22stuff and everyone was like, Parker, get out of the way.
45:26Yeah. Stop ruining things for Brian Thomas. Nobody drafted you.
45:29And now everyone's going to be like, Brian Thomas, get out of the way.
45:33You're right. All right. Let's do some mailbag. Mailbag.
45:36Mailbag. Presented by Paramount Plus. All right. Uh, first question coming in, by the way, you can go to the website, the
45:43fantasy footballers.com click that submit a question button or dial or voicemail hotline three zero two four six four T F F B.
45:50First question coming in from Matthew Brooks says, uh, is my guy overreaction question mark?
45:55Oh, Jason, how high is too high to draft Garrett Wilson to three turn question mark?
46:00Um, so the reason he's a, my guy is because of where he's going in drafts, right?
46:06Like the fact that you can, you can actually get Garrett Wilson right now on sleeper at the four 10 on Yahoo at the five Oh one.
46:14It's just outrageous value to me. I'm not taking him over players like, uh, Devante Smith, who's on a much better offense,
46:21um, or, or George Pickens, you know, who's, uh, you know, a top 12 wide receiver last year on a better offense with a good quarterback.
46:29And so that's who you'd be having to take him over at that two three turn area.
46:35So yeah, I think, I think that's probably too high.
46:38It's, it's not that he couldn't end up being a good pick, but everything in fantasy is, is odds and probabilities.
46:44And I would say that there's a higher probability that George Pickens or Devante Smith is better than Garrett Wilson, Garrett Wilson.
46:51I am very in on and very bullish that he is well better than where he's being drafted right now this year.
46:58So, uh, yeah, I would say that's just smidge too high, even though he's a good player.
47:04All right. Uh, well writing in on Instagram, who would be your fourth?
47:08My guy. Honestly, it will be our fancy MVP.
47:11I would assume, which is coming up on Friday.
47:14I know mine. I'll throw a name that I know won't be my fancy MVP.
47:18Oh, I got, I got another one too. Uh, I'll throw Brees Hall out there.
47:23I'm pretty bullish on Brees Hall. Love that. Love that pick.
47:27Um, cause the jets always work out. I, I, um, I would, I would be Tyler Warren.
47:32You know, so much love to Loveland and Warren's around later.
47:35Not enough war for Warren. No, I, I really, really like he, he was in consideration.
47:41I thought the entire off season that Tyler Warren was an obvious, my guy.
47:45And, and, uh, you haven't come around on, on, uh, Alec Pierce yet.
47:49I think Alec Pierce is going to be very good at the Alec Pierce role.
47:54Oh, you said that so unconvincingly. Um, it was not going to be the Alec Pierce role.
47:59Mine was supposed to be Tyler. Too much money for that.
48:03Well, here's the thing. No matter what, I'm right.
48:06It was supposed to be Tyler Shuck and then Jordan Tyson.
48:09It's the Alec Pierce role going. What's that? Nothing.
48:12I'm trying to have a show and you're like, I'm just going to have a side conversation into the microphone.
48:18We were in the middle of talking about Alec Pierce.
48:21We were done. I guess I was done. I can say I did not hear what Mike said.
48:27Yeah. That's why I asked him what he said.
48:30Cause he was talking in the middle of our conversation.
48:33Oh man. Flipping it. Anyways, what were you saying?
48:36Uh, I've wanted it to be. No. All right.
48:39But now I really am curious and I know you're never going to say it.
48:44You already know what the answer is. It's been, it was on the whiteboard forever.
48:48It was supposed to be Tyler. Oh, and then Jordan Tyson went.
48:52Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's a good question from YouTube.
48:55Ryan wants to know, are you still picking Puka with a top four pick?
49:00This is. No, let's be clear. Just because Puka wasn't placed on the commissioner's list yet does not mean that Puka is 100% safe.
49:07There were some rumblings this morning. Um, I don't know.
49:10Oh, look, I am not going to pretend I know everything that has happened with Puka Nakua.
49:16But this morning there was a video that came out from his ex-girlfriend.
49:20She didn't make any like specific allegations. But she mentioned the last year.
49:24I mean, I don't even know how much I want to talk about this.
49:29But it basically, they were together for like four or five years.
49:32It was great. But in the last year and a half, she was in a, what she described as an abusive relationship.
49:39And that he changed overnight. Yeah. Which seems to match all other actions external of that relationship in the public and everything he's been doing.
49:47He does not have an extension with the Rams.
49:50The fact that he doesn't have an extension with the Rams.
49:54There are, behind the scenes, there have to be questions.
49:57How in the world does a player that good, so important to your Super Bowl, you know, odds on favorite champion roster,
50:04not have an extension for a player like that?
50:07I mean, this is scary. One of the best wide receivers performance-wise in the NFL.
50:11And the NFL has come out and said, you know, players like Puka Nakua, Rashad Bateman's matters, still under review by the National Football League.
50:19Am I nervous to take him at, I mean, we have a draft on Monday that I'm pretty sure he's going to go number two.
50:27But it's nerve-wracking to do that. This is not, this is not, oh man, it's not Rashad Bateman where he's the last
50:34pick of your draft and you're like, whatever happens, happens.
50:37This is very good chance if you take Puka and something happens, your season ends.
50:42Because losing your first, I mean, not necessarily, but you lose your first, it's like CMC's injury.
50:47You know, it's going to be massive. You have a gigantic hole that you have to dig out of.
50:53Let's assume the first three picks are Gibbs, Bijan, Jamar Chase.
50:57So then this is why the question is, would you still take Puka at four?
51:02Because that's where the questions really start. I would personally, as of this moment, knowing whatever we don't know, I would rather
51:09draft Christian McCaffrey, Almond Ra, JSN, and then I get really questionable on the Jonathan Taylor, James Cook.
51:14Like that, so I'm pushing him back down the first round for me.
51:18Okay. But not too far. Would you guys rather draft the Jonathan Taylor, James Cook tier of running back or the Puka?
51:25I would take Puka because I want to win the league, and I think Puka's worthy of being the number two pick in the draft.
51:33Sure. Mike? I think at this point that moving him behind JSN and Almond Ra is probably just the, like, those guys are awesome.
51:41Yeah. You know. If all people play 17 games.
51:44Yeah, it is. It's probably, in terms of, like, fantasy tiers, it would be a step down.
51:49But with a pick that high to still get the production from, that you would expect from JSN or Almond Ra, I think it might be worth it.
51:58The Rams are not deep at wide receiver, and they haven't added anybody.
52:02And that is one of the only saving graces I have right now.
52:06They haven't even added a Kalem Johnson equivalent at wide receiver.
52:10Unless you count the trade for 2-2, which maybe you can.
52:13I count Terrence Ferguson. Yeah, I know you do.
52:16You're a little too, I mean, maybe not too, but you're just very.
52:20I don't know. You're very Fergie-licious. This reminds me of when Jason loved Mark Andrews, and we were like, what are you talking about?
52:28And then Mark Andrews was like the tight end 2 that year.
52:32TBD. He hasn't done anything yet, but the opportunity for a great offense, and I think he's a really good player.
52:38But he's in a, I mean, it's dumb. I mean, it's a last round dart throw hopeful projection.
52:44One more. Okay, sorry. No, I'll just say it's not something you can like easily say, well, obviously this is coming.
52:51There's just a pathway that you could see how it comes, and if it comes, it's a really high upside pick.
52:57I like this one just real quick, but from off of YouTube from Nick.
53:02Am I crazy to take AJ Brown over JJ or CD?
53:05Not crazy, no. No, I don't think so. Jack wants to know best tips for the Megaloball as we close things out.
53:12Well, I mean, this is a tournament-style play, so genuinely, I don't look at matchups and things like that.
53:18Well, I mean, you've got to win for individual.
53:21But let's be honest. The top six out of every 12 teams get in the playoffs.
53:26You just have to be top half. But you have to make the playoffs.
53:31So I am looking at the schedule in the fantasy playoff weeks.
53:34Look at that. Week 17, I guess week 18.
53:37Well, they're very competitive. I mean, when are you saying to look at those?
53:42I'm saying even in your draft. Oh, man. Not me.
53:45If you want to win the actual league, you've got to go for an extreme high upside.
53:50You've got to have a few players that really break out.
53:54And obviously, you can't only fill a roster with high volatility.
53:57You're not going to get to the championship for that.
54:00But you do need a handful of those nuclear options.
54:03Running backs seem to go higher in Megaloball drafts.
54:06So do my guys. So you're competing with a ton of foot-clam people.
54:10Something to keep in mind with those drafts starting up on September 4th.
54:15You can get in there, Megaloball.com. That was the Mailbag presented by Paramount+.
