Insight page

Cedric Tillman

The Browns are releasing Cedric Tillman. The source notes this is a surprising move given his previous flashes of relevance, though he struggled with injuries and concussions in recent seasons.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeRole4:02

Chris Bell is a first-round talent returning from an ACL injury, but he is unlikely to be fantasy-relevant in Week 1 due to his lack of participation, serving primarily to muddy the water in the Dolphins' wide receiver room.

Insight page

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveValue47:27

The source is increasingly bullish on Davante Adams, noting that even his worst version can produce double-digit touchdowns in his current offense, and his best version significantly outperforms his current ADP.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

PositiveSleeper62:14

The source identifies Dontayvion Wicks as a late-round sleeper who should start as an outside wide receiver two on a good team, noting genuine belief in his talent.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection29:16

Insight page

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveRole21:29

The source notes that Dan Campbell's comments regarding Jahmyr Gibbs are extremely high-praise, suggesting the team intends to push him significantly and believes he has not yet scratched the surface of his potential.

Insight page
PositiveProjection35:29

Jahmyr Gibbs is being discussed as a potential 1.01 pick. The source highlights Dan Campbell's high praise for Gibbs, suggesting he has significant room for growth despite his already impressive performance.

Insight page

James Conner

NegativeInjury30:11

It is currently too early to determine if James Conner will be available for Week 1.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeProjection49:58

The source expresses significant concern regarding Jayden Daniels due to the Commanders' offensive line being described as 'inoperable' following the loss of their best player, leading to a recommendation to avoid drafting him.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeValue6:48

Jalen Warren is currently the first Steelers running back off the board in the sixth round, though the source expresses skepticism about this draft cost, noting he has never had a 1,000-yard season.

Insight page
PositiveRole12:34

Jason Moore prefers Jalen Warren over Rico Dowdle, citing his status as the RB1 on the depth chart, his role in the passing game, and his history with Aaron Rodgers as reasons he will be the more prominent back.

Insight page

Jonnu Smith

NegativeDepth Chart20:02

The Packers signed veteran tight end Jonnu Smith to a one-year deal. The source believes this move does not negatively impact the fantasy outlook for Tucker Kraft.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection27:54

Despite concerns about the Vikings' quarterback situation, the source selects Justin Jefferson in the second round, believing his individual talent is too high to keep down and that the team will eventually correct their offensive issues.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveValue25:56

The source selects Kenneth Walker in the first round, expressing high confidence in his potential and excitement about his role.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveProjection52:41

The source remains bullish on Kyren Williams, projecting him to be an RB1 for fantasy football despite the presence of Blake Corum on the roster.

Insight page

Luke Musgrave

NegativeInjury20:21

Luke Musgrave is dealing with a significant abdomen injury, which the source notes as a factor in the Packers' decision to sign Jonnu Smith.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury31:01

Malik Nabers is considered a high-risk, high-reward pick due to recent injury concerns and missed practice time, though the head coach later clarified the early departure was not injury-related.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury25:16

Mike Evans is dealing with multiple lower-body injuries (quad, groin, hamstring). While his upside remains high when healthy, the source is concerned about his durability and suggests he may only play half a season.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveProjection46:48

The source is all-in on Rhamondre Stevenson, citing positive camp reports regarding his performance and appearance, suggesting he could be very good this season.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveValue7:03

Rico Dowdle is being actively targeted by the source as a value pick in the Steelers backfield. Despite being a backup for most of his career, he has shown explosive potential in stretches, and the source believes he has the upside to become the team's identity.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveValue35:47

The source considers Tee Higgins a tier above other available wide receivers, noting that his connection with Joe Burrow makes him a priority target.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveUsage56:12

The source highlights Tony Pollard as a strong pick, noting he received all eight opportunities with the starters in his last game and looked spry.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveRole39:09

The source believes Travis Etienne Jr. will be the main guy in the Jacksonville backfield, dismissing concerns about a committee approach.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

PositiveRole30:18

0:37Oh, that's right. We have a very important extra episode hitting on Saturday.
0:41It's a very special edition. Today is Thursday, August 27th.
0:44We have a mock draft show today. We have the Fantasy Football Time Machine tomorrow.
0:49And then we have a bonus episode of this show that will hit your feeds.
0:54You can watch it Saturday. It is our live show here in Phoenix.

1:02Tons of special stuff happening out there. And I mean, it's going to be quite enjoyable.
1:07It's going to be crazy. It's going to be quite enjoyable.
1:11Listen, you know what popped into my head, Mike, was we have said before, at one of the live shows, Andrew Luck retired.
1:18Yes. Tire. No, not currently. You also killed the queen, but.
1:22Yeah, I mean, there did. You really did. Well, I mean, when you comp any, when you comp anybody to somebody in their late, probably, what was she?
1:3180, 90 years old? Yeah. I mean, your odds are there that something might happen.
1:36Sure. In the near term. But no, we're so excited.
1:39It's going to be so much fun. So much going on.
1:43Like I said, a mock draft show today. We have some news to catch you up on.
1:48I don't think we have any catastrophic injury news to share with you today, which is nice.
1:54In fact, we have some of the opposite. Some players getting off the pup.
1:58All right. We are less than two weeks until kickoff.
2:01Wow. Yeah. Two weeks from yesterday. That's wild. Yeah.
2:04Wednesday night. So this weekend and next weekend, Labor Day weekend, are the two biggest draft days of the year.
2:11And if you're not prepped up and you're not ready, the Ultimate Draft Kit's available now at ultimatedraftkit.com.
2:17Let's get it going. Leader of the Pack. Presented by PetSmart.
2:20Well, this has been a fun debate each and every week, guys.
2:24We're talking through unsettled situations, committees at the wide receiver running back position and where we think the fantasy value is going to end up.
2:32I mean, we did the Dolphins, I believe, last week, right?
2:36We talked through that mess of a wide receiver room.
2:39And a little update. That one might be less messy.
2:42Than this one today? No, no. I'm saying with Chris Bell returning.
2:46Chris Bell, who is actually like. You don't think that makes it more messy?
2:51Well, I think it makes it less messy in terms of like, he's good.
2:55Right? Yeah, no. Yes, Chris Bell was. But that's been the question all along.
3:00He's good? Well, no, it's like. I think, yeah, he's a first round talent with an injury recovery that pushed him down in the draft.
3:08We think that these other guys, you're calling your shot on who's capable.
3:12But it's like, Chris Bell is a player who should have gone in the first round.
3:17Pause. That is a fabulous future segment. He's good, right?
3:21I want that segment on this show. Mark it down.
3:24That would be amazing. But go on. Yeah, the issue is, yes, he is probably the most talented of their wide receiver core coming out of college.
3:33However, week one for a rookie off an ACL who hasn't participated, you can't possibly expect him to be even decent for fantasy.
3:40Which means all he does is muddy the water.
3:43Which, to be fair, our big takeaway, I think, at the end of last week's segment was.
3:49Nah. There is no value. Nah. But there is value here.
3:52Yeah, today we are talking about the Steelers running backs.
3:55You know, it's a strange thing when Kenny Gainwell departing was the departure of your best receiver?
4:01Well, your leading receiver. At least your leader in receptions, anyways.
4:05And honestly, he played great. He was fabulous for this team.
4:08Jalen Warren is still there. He is the first player off the board in fantasy right now for the Steelers in the sixth round.
4:16I don't know if it is warranted, but he feels like sort of a fart of a pick to me when I
4:23get to that point in the draft. And then you get Rico Dowdle, who has at times been maybe Mike's favorite player in the world.
4:31Proved last year, because it was the year of Mike, that after being...
4:35Sir, he proved multiple years ago. Do you think he proved what he did last year in Dallas?
4:41I don't. I don't think he had a... When he put up 1,000 yards in like half a year?
4:47I think that's proof. I don't. I don't think his run in Dallas was ever as impressive or close to as impressive
4:55as his run last year in Carolina in terms of explosive games.
4:58I mean, there were times... There was a stretch of weeks last year where Rico Dowdle was the primary discussion point for the explosive insane games.
5:07We had the 206 rushing yards followed up by 183.
5:10He can't even take a Rico compliment because he needs it to be bigger Rico compliment.
5:15You realize this? His Rico tattoos get offended. Yeah, so Rico Dowdle is now on the Pittsburgh Steelers sharing the backfield with Jalen Warren.
5:23We know one thing about this backfield. We know Caleb Johnson won't be taking away any carries from Jalen Warren or Rico Dowdle.
5:31But Dowdle's going around later than Jalen Warren. I have Dowdle ranked higher.
5:35What is the takeaway for you? This team, Aaron Rodgers, Metcalf-Pittman, new head coach, new identity.
5:40We're so used to the Tomlin identity in the backfield.
5:43It seems wide open. It is. And where it's more difficult of...
5:47When Rico is on the Panthers with Chuba, I felt like...
5:51Rico's the better player to me. So it was the...
5:54I can... You know, it took a while for Rico to take over the job, but it felt like this is something that could and should happen.
6:03Jalen Warren is an excellent player. Like, he's far better on the ground than I think that most people realize or give him credit for.
6:11And he's a multifaceted running back. Andy's face just did something.
6:14Whoa, right. I have just discovered the wildest Rico Dowdle information over here.
6:19Please. Well, let's have it. So he played in Dallas in 2024 and he played in Carolina last year.
6:25Correct. And neither season was he just like declared the starter and played from the beginning, right?
6:30Yep, correct. It took about half of the year.
6:33Listen to this. His opportunities in Dallas, 284. His opportunities in Carolina, 286.
6:38Okay? All right. His attempts, rushing attempts, 235-236. Okay.
6:40His yardage, 1079-1076. His receptions, 39-39. So would that make the Dallas year impressive?
6:45It would be. Because it's the same thing. Six touchdowns last year for Carolina, two for Dallas.
6:51But I would say yes to it. I will stand partially corrected there.
6:55I think he was a dominator for a small stretch last year.
6:59But man, talk about just doing what you do.
7:02Yeah, it's funny because he's shown in stretches that he is a very talented back.
7:06You know, hard to tackle, fully capable in the receiving game.
7:10Rico has had his moments to shine. Yet no one has ever in his entire not short career been like, you know what?
7:17Let's build around Rico. You know what? Let's just make Rico our starter.
7:22No one's even been like, he's our starter ever.
7:25It's just, he starts every year as the backup and he's like, okay, he's good enough.
7:30Let's give him the ball. And I do agree, Mike, that this is his toughest.
7:35I think Jalen Warren is going to be his most difficult guy to usurp.
7:39It was like washed Zeke. Yeah. Come on. And then Chuba, who was injured when he finally.
7:45Chuba's fine, but Rico was better. Year five for Warren, never had a thousand-yard season.
7:50Never had a thousand-yard season. But also never, never really been the full starter.
7:54Not for a full year. To me, I am on the Jalen Warren side.
7:59And the reason, first of all, he is the wide receiver, running back one on their depth chart right now.
8:05In both preseason games, he got the first snap and did not play much, which you kind of like to see those two things in conjunction.
8:14He also has played with Aaron Rodgers now for two seasons.
8:17And when I look at the opportunities here, I think that the way that I project this is I think Jalen Warren
8:24will be the more prominent passing, you know, passing game, not third down back, but the passing game back than Rico Dowdle will.
8:32I think that Aaron Rodgers will look for him the way that he looked for Kenny Gainwell.
8:37There's a reason why Kenny Gainwell led the team in receptions.
8:41It's because Aaron Rodgers is borderline dead and just checks everything down.
8:45The goal line opportunities, I would imagine, go more to Rico.
8:48I just don't see this offense as one that's going to be like scoring a ton.
8:54It is a little funny, though, the idea that Aaron Rodgers was there with Jalen Warren and not Jalen Warren was that receiving factor.
9:01But I mean, Jalen Warren does one thing for sure.
9:05He tends to get banged up and he tends to give a backup an opportunity to have a few starts.
9:11Can Rico take advantage of that? Yeah. And last year, Jalen Warren, 14 carries inside the five.
9:17Wait, total? And only four, five zone touchdowns. And Rico is just, it's hard because you want the running back to get
9:24the receptions and the goal line work. I don't think that that's how it will shake out.
9:29But what you do have is Mike McCarthy was in Dallas when Rico had the breakout over the second half.
9:36Mike McCarthy is in Pittsburgh, brought in a familiar face.
9:39So he should be ready to go. I think it's worth getting some exposure to this backfield.
9:45I'm not overloading this where every league I'm in, I'm like, I got to get one of these Pittsburgh Steelers, but I
9:52think that there is a, there's a decent chance that one of them actually pops.
9:57Whose upside is higher? Rico. Rico because of the touchdowns.
10:00But like if it, if it goes with any history of Rico, just draft Jalen Warren and then around week, I don't
10:07know, seven or eight, pick up Rico Dowdle. I'm actively targeting Dowdle.
10:11He's the winner. He's the winner in this competition for me on this show for leader of the pack.
10:17But I, I like, I went through my UDK for the L for the legal record and I went in and I
10:24marked my targets for these rounds, Raya picks and Rico's marked for me.
10:28Like I, I actually just think that there's a lot of opportunity for him to become the identity of this team.
10:35And that puts me kind of farther in that camp.
10:38Leader of the pack for you, Jason, you said Jalen Warren.
10:42Jalen Warren would be the guy I would draft.
10:45I think he starts as the starter and has more passing work and stays healthy.
10:50And Mike, which side are you on? Well, what do you think of this, this quote here?
10:55I know the quotes crying from, uh, crazy. Uh, I apologize if I mispronounce the name of Mark Cavalli Steelers beat writer.
11:03So the end of the quote is Dowdle's quickness, speed, vision, and power make him much more than a platoon back.
11:09Even though Warren is very good. Dowdle will be the unquestioned RB one when the season starts.
11:15I mean, that will be really surprising if week one to me, to me, if week one comes and he is the
11:22unquestioned starter, that would be really surprising given that their official depth try right now lists Warren ahead and both preseason games.
11:29They had Warren be ahead. So the unquestioned part about that.
11:33It's a trick, Jason. You fell right for it.
11:36It could be. You think I'm not picking Rico Dowdle?
11:39Come on. I know who you're picking. All right.
11:42That was the leader of the pack presented by PetSmart.
11:45Visit your local PetSmart store or go to PetSmart.com today.
11:48PetSmart, anything for pets. News and notes from around the league.
11:52We actually got breaking news during this last segment.
11:55I mean, if we call it that, it wasn't the kind that you break in for, but the Packers are signing former
12:02Pro Bowl tight end Johnny Smith to a one-year deal.
12:05He is going to join the Packers this year, be another weapon for Jordan Love.
12:10Tucker Kraft, I think, yesterday said something like, I'm done with the snap count or the snap restrictions or whatever that was.
12:17But Musgrave has been hurt, right? I haven't seen anything about him.
12:21Yeah, four days ago, Luke Musgrave dealing with significant abdomen injury.
12:25So a death chart move? This is more of a Musgrave than a Tucker Kraft.
12:30Yeah, I am not as in on Tucker Kraft as you guys for the draft cost right now for the beginning of the year.
12:37I don't think this has any effect on Tucker Kraft.
12:41I wouldn't move him down at all from them signing Johnny Smith.
12:45Could I get applause here? Alec Pierce is coming off the PUP today.
12:49Oh, the people. The people love it. The people are thrilled.
12:52I mean, it is kind of- Dozens of them.
12:55It's so perfect for it to happen the day after my guys.
12:59I mean, it's too late for me. The literal day after.
13:03You've been waiting for him to come off the pup so you could have him be a my guy.
13:09A lot has changed since- And then they saved you from that.
13:13Yes. Well, I wouldn't have done it if he had just come off the pup yesterday.
13:18I promise. What are you doing with drafting? How slow a start do you think he's going to get off to?
13:25He hasn't been running. There's just a lot of factors in this equation right now.
13:30Like the Keenan Allen addition combined with the delayed return from injury is too much for me to be like, maybe it's great.
13:37Maybe it's great for fantasy because Alec Pierce will be completely ignored in your draft.
13:42This is a $100 million receiver who was super productive last year and I think will be the go-to target in this
13:49offense who has led the league in yards per reception for two years in a row.
13:54He's a touchdown monster. And maybe he's just free now.
13:58Maybe he's just not even thought about. Keenan Allen has taken the narrative and the injuries have taken the narrative.
14:04Maybe that means that Alec Pierce can be a steal for you in the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th round.
14:10I mean, I don't even know. I think his variability on where he goes in drafts will be massive.
14:16Just completely ignored or somebody's going to try to grab him?
14:20I think I'm going to pass on Alec Pierce in the draft and hope he hits waivers.
14:26He won't go undrafted, nor should he. But the opening schedule for the Colts, they play the Ravens, Chiefs, and Texans for the first three weeks.
14:34And those are going to be the weeks where he's working back into shape against really tough defenses.
14:40But if you're drafting him in the 8th round, then he's not starting for you.
14:45My point is I don't want to hang on to a player who's not doing well the first three weeks, hoping that
14:52somewhere later down the line I get... Like, that's a month into the season.
14:56I don't want to have... I'm not willing to draft Alec Pierce for and have him...
15:02Last year... Someone I'm not going to play for a month.
15:05Last year against Houston, 7 for 1, 32 and 2.
15:08Yeah. On the road. I'm more on Andy's side.
15:11I'd be willing to draft and hold. Mike Evans plans to play week one.
15:16Good luck! I mean, he's had plans. Your legs don't.
15:19I plan to miss week one. I mean, you said your legs don't, but it's his groin.
15:25Yeah. Well, it's not just his groin. It's his quad, his groin, his hamstring.
15:29Okay. It's his meat. I'm sorry. But we've got rules here.
15:33And it's his meat. His meat is bad. Sorry.
15:36Bad meat. I didn't... You don't make the rules.
15:39I don't make the rules! If T. Higgins' meat is bad, Mike Evans' meat is...
15:43Is it like on a... It's like soured. It's like the manager's deal?
15:48Yeah. You show up and it's got the big yellow sticker on it?
15:52This is 100% a manager's special. And you're like, holy crap, look at the deal on this meat!
15:58Well, it expires tomorrow, but look what round you can get him in.
16:02I was in a draft yesterday that FFT opened, and they have their default ADP on CBS, and I'm playing on there.
16:09I mean, Mike Evans just sat there, and sat there, and sat there, and sat there.
16:14And nobody wanted to be the person to draft Mike Evans.
16:18And yet, the upside is tremendous when he is playing, when the meat is healthy.
16:23I am so confident. Well, this is a... I mean, this is a filet mignon on manager's special.
16:29So, like, the expiration date is coming, but if you cook this thing up in the right time...
16:34Yeah, this ain't discount baloney. I really... Exactly right, Andy.
16:38Exactly right. Yeah, we nailed this. I genuinely believe Mike Evans will dominate in fantasy...
16:43Like, for fantasy when he is... Four games, for fantasy.
16:46Yeah, when he is playing. Like, I don't know, maybe he's a DFS play.
16:50But I would say that I have no... I came in early in the offseason thinking Mike Evans was going to be my guy.
16:58The only worry was... Manager special. ...age and injury history, and this offseason has proved...
17:03Yeah, that... The substation? The electrical substation... Got me again.
17:06...sampshed go has him. Just a little too loud for me not to be scared.
17:11I don't know where to draft him. I still want him on my teams, but I think he plays half of a season.
17:19I mean, this is... And it's going to be sporadic.
17:22Oh, there's the manager special. Is that quality? Hey, Mike.
17:25Hey, Mike. Yeah. Not the most complimentary graphic. Zay Flowers still being held out of practice for, quote, ordinary reasons and should be ready for week one.
17:34Yeah, he's fine. Don't worry about it. I always hate these.
17:37As week one inches closer, the be ready for week one, but not seeing you ready gets more nerve wracking.
17:44Yeah. He'll be okay. Maybe. This time of year...
17:47Oh, he's fine. Everyone is just... It's so commonly said he should be ready for week one that you can't take it serious anymore.
17:55When we're a week and a half from week one, it's like, is he healthy now or not?
18:00When does it change? He'll be ready for next week.
18:04It's got to be practice. If he's ready for week one, that means he's full participation in the practice for week one.
18:11Too early to tell if James Conner will play in week one.
18:15Do we care? Probably not. Algier could be a full-time starter in week one.
18:19I saw a video of Jeremiah Love doing some work, trying to get back from the injury.
18:25Let's hope he can. Yeah, I mean, genuinely, week one, you could end up with Tyler Algier, Mike Washington, and Marshawn Lloyd.
18:32Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Must starts. It's possible that all three are like...
18:36That is nasty. And let's be clear... Although I don't know that Mike Washington would be a must start.
18:42Let's be clear. Not all of them will finish week one healthy, probably.
18:47The Browns are releasing Sutter Tillman. This one's weird.
18:50Sutter Tillman went from sort of relevant for a minute.
18:53They've got a very deep core now. I feel like there was a time, though, that you really...
18:59Oh, I... You like Sutter Tillman. That's why I think it's weird.
19:03I think Sutter Tillman belongs on an NFL team, and he can help an NFL team.
19:08And he was... He had to have been very cheap for their roster.
19:12Well, he got really severely injured. Yeah. Didn't he have...
19:15Was it the concussions or a couple of things going on for Tillman?
19:19I can't remember. I think he had different... There was something where he got a concussion, and they kept holding him out over and over and over.
19:28That was the end of... That was the end of 2024.
19:32And then last year, he had a four-game stretch that he missed.
19:36I mean, he really... He didn't do anything of note last year.
19:40This isn't like, hey, Sutter Tillman's a really special player, but it's...
19:43Why are you... Why are you cutting... With Isaiah Bond...
19:47Isaiah Bond. With Isaiah Bond, Jerry Judy, Fannin, and the two first and second round rookies, and you're just not going to keep them on the list.
19:55It could be a move of the like, hey...
19:58You're not going to play. We'll let you go find a job.
20:02All right. We'll take a break, and we'll jump into our mock draft ahead of a big draft weekend.
20:08Fantasy Footballers Mock Draft. Okay. We're back into it.
20:11Trying to prep up for the weekend. 12-team half PPR mock.
20:15One quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, one flex, four bench.
20:20I didn't listen to you. Well, you should have.
20:23It's just the normal one, right? Yeah. Okay. I got it.
20:26I'm good. It's the normal one. What were you doing, perchance?
20:30I was just... Were you drinking? Were you drinking?
20:33You were taking a sip of water? Yeah. And that...
20:36This is water. ...clogs your ears up? He can't do two things at the same time, man.
20:42No. I really can't. I mean, that's not a lie.
20:45He does... What he's doing, he does well. But if he needs to do multiple things...
20:50Yeah, he's locked in. Like, we have... Let's just put it this way.
20:54We have, like, very active Slack conversations mid-show. Yes.
20:57The producers, Mike and I, everybody on the team.
21:00I most of the time read them after the show.
21:03Like, very necessary communication. Yeah, Mike, Jason cannot do that.
21:07But yes, one quarterback, two running back, two wide receiver, one tight end, one flex, four bench, Jason.
21:12And Mike is in the third spot, random selection.
21:15Jason and I get to go back-to-back in a spot of the draft I don't love.
21:2110 and 11. That should suck. Well, we'll see.
21:23And then we have our writing staff, production staff, and team grabbing the other spots in the draft.
21:29It starts with Jameer Gibbs. As the offseason has progressed, it started with who's going to be the number one.
21:36And it's progressed to a... If you have the one-on-one, you're just...
21:40The decision is sort of made at this point.
21:43Jameer Gibbs... I mean, I can't get enough of the way Dan Campbell talks about Jameer Gibbs.
21:48And it is proportionally insulting to Isaiah Pacheco because it is just like, we're going to push this guy.
21:54I don't know. You've seen these clips from Dan Campbell?
21:58We're going to push this guy. We think he can be the best ever.
22:02He hasn't even scratched the surface. Because that... It seemed like the surface had been scratched by Jameer Gibbs at some point in time.
22:10I think a pretty deep scratch. A deep scratch.
22:13That's like a cut. And they're just like, we're going to stretch him.
22:17We're going to make him better. Yeah. He literally says, yeah, we got Pacheco.
22:22But anyways, it's the plan. They did also... And there's no Pua.
22:26Right. You don't have to deal with the Pua quarterback situation.
22:29That would be Penix and Tua. We... You know, not huge news, but Kareem Hunt did visit the Detroit Lions.
22:36Isaiah Pacheco is like, I'm free of you, Kareem, stealing my touchdowns.
22:39No! So we'll see how that goes. That's all...
22:42Kareem Hunt's manager is like, the only place we can get you to sign, we just got to find out where Pacheco is.
22:50And they will prefer you. I know where we got a great opportunity.
22:54Oh, that's not even... That was Pacheco going off the cliff.
22:58Oh, no! Oh, no! That's what the end of that sound effect was.
23:02Jameer Gibbs goes number one. Kyle had the number one pick.
23:05Then Bijan goes two. Mike is on the clock.
23:08Oh, wait, because Pacheco is, in fact, dealing with injury.
23:12Well, he had been. Yeah, he had been dealing for the last month.
23:16Okay. So I think this is looking at the depth.
23:19But... Oh, it's a new injury. Yeah. So he had an injury, and now he's dealing with a back injury.
23:26He had a knee injury. This is like a minute ago.
23:29Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Isaiah Pacheco now dealing with back injury.
23:33Don't worry. The knee injury no longer a concern.
23:36Sign Trey Benson, you cowards. Who's also dealing with a knee injury.
23:40Shut up, Jason. Jameer Gibbs, Bijan, off the board.
23:42Mike, you're on the clock. Where are you going?
23:45I'm perfectly fine. If you want to take Christian McCaffrey right there, if you want to, you know, ride that situation.
23:52And you had your time with CMC, and you were just...
23:56You're doing what fantasy managers need to do, which is look at every year fresh.
24:01Yeah. And you have not pounded the table for him in any draft.
24:05I don't think you've ever been against him. No, no.
24:08I still... But you've just... You've not... It's not been the Mike of last year.
24:13Yeah. I still love him as the running back three.
24:16But, you know, it's hard to argue with how much work he got last year.
24:21Can it really continue? I mean, if he's healthy, he's going to be awesome.
24:26But I'm going with Jamar Chase here. I like some of these running backs in the second round.
24:32I mean, we'll see how the draft falls, but what I believe about the Bengals this year, I'm going to go with Jamar.
24:39After Chase goes CMC, Puka, Jonathan Taylor and James Cook, Hampton at 108, and Jason at 109.
24:45My hope at 110 was, in fact, Amon-Ra St.
24:47Brown somehow being there. He is there, and I'm going to take him ahead of Jason.
24:53Did you hope he would be there at 11, Jason?
24:56I didn't think he would be there at 11, but I didn't think he'd be there necessarily at 10.
25:02And so whenever a player gets one spot before you, just don't make that one.
25:07Just make any other pick. The Hampton pick at 108 is interesting, and I'm not criticizing it.
25:12I think you can kind of, just like Jinty, you can basically plant your flag and say, you know, the Keaton Mitchell
25:20being banged up, like Hampton could start the year on a great team, favored to win the division, being everything.
25:26But I like the fact it kicked Alman Ross down a pick.
25:30This is my absolute worst start for me, because every single player picked is exactly who I would have picked before me.
25:37I would have taken Hampton here if he was available.
25:40ADP says he usually would have. So you are just, you're in shambles.
25:45So I know who I'm going to take with my next pick.
25:48I don't think he's going to go out the turn.
25:52And so I am sitting here really considering between Chase Brown and Kenneth Walker.
25:56It's a little bit high for both of those guys.
26:00Alternatively, I could go CeeDee Lamb. That's what I thought you would do.
26:04I figured you did. But I'm going to go between Chase Brown and Kenneth Walker.
26:09My goodness. That's tough. You know what? For you, Mike.
26:12It just feels like you're, for you, Mike. Yeah, both of them are for Mike.
26:17Yeah. Well, but one is more. I'm going to take Kenneth Walker here in the first.
26:22Ken Bone Walker. Oh, my gosh. You still have that?
26:25Now you've got that. Well, Ken Walker. I took him in the first yesterday.
26:30And, you know, I was pretty excited about it.
26:33CeeDee Lamb and Devon. This is going to be the worst start.
26:37Ken Bone Walker, Chase Brown, fall into your lap if you want him.
26:41I'm not taking Chase Brown here. Let me catch people up that are not watching the screen.
26:46Ken Walker at 111. CeeDee Lamb at 112. Devon Achan goes at 201.
26:51And so Jason does have the choice of going Chase Brown.
26:54He's got options all across the board. And there's one name I'm interested to see if he passes on or he falls to me.
27:02There is. The guy that is the reason I took Ken Walker in the first round and my choice of him or
27:09Brown is because I was very confident the next wide receiver would get to me.
27:14I am just. I've turned into. I'm all entirely in on this guy.
27:18I think he could be the wide receiver one this year.
27:22But I do think he will be a top six wide receiver.
27:26I would take him over. Like when I look at Lamb or this guy, I'm like, I don't know anymore.
27:32I'm taking A.J. Brown. Wow. I really think that last year's MVP runner up and that offense and A.J.
27:38Brown is either he's lost it or he should dominate.
27:42Well, I'm thrilled because I feel like everything you'd use to describe A.J.
27:46Brown is how I would describe a guy who's done it most of his career.
27:51It was a bump last year. I'll take Jefferson in the second.
27:54I'm taking Justin Jefferson at 203 with Amon Ross St.
27:58Brown. I can't do it. It's pretty tough to keep a player of that ability down.
28:03I don't think Kyler's going to do it. Oh, you don't think he's going to keep him down?
28:09Yeah. I think Jefferson's going to be like, I think Jefferson had a much larger role in the acquisition and the guaranteed starting position for Kyler Murray.
28:18There were, there was some talk about, you know, what happened this off season.
28:22I think Jefferson has a, I mean, this is a, you make the wrong call here.
28:27You don't find a quarterback to supply the man who is breaking every NFL record at his age.
28:33This dude's leaving. Like there were already rumors about Jefferson requesting a trade from this team in this off season.
28:40And I think it's been kept pretty quiet, but I think he had a big role to play.
28:45So it look, it's scary, but when it's 203 and it's not 109 or 105, I'll take it.
28:51We'll see how it goes though. It's a mock draft.
28:55That's the point. Two wide receivers to start my draft.
28:58Chase Brown does go next. Pickens, Barkley, Henry Bowers first tight end off the board at 208 and Jinty at 209.
29:05Mike, you are on the clock. Let's see. So the, the, it got pretty running back heavy there.
29:10So that's a, that's a bit of a bummer that none of those guys really felt to me.
29:16The wide receiver, you know, Drake London should work, should work.
29:20We're into the names of it should work already.
29:23Are you in the camp of like London's not off the board, which is a little while.
29:28Now, is that because we on this show have thrown the cold water on that situation as then like, he may have a Jefferson like year.
29:37Like, I'm just a little bit surprised he's this far behind Jefferson.
29:41And I'm a little bit surprised that, you know, like who would you bet to have the better year right today?
29:48Like today. Between London and Jefferson? Yeah. Like Jefferson.
29:50Okay. I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll go that side, but I am, I, both of them, I think have like, you can see how it goes wrong.
29:59Not injury related, just play the play of the team.
30:02You can see how it goes wrong. I, I think Minnesota corrects.
30:06I'm getting more and more concerned of Atlanta with, with Pua over there.
30:10Um, Jack Strand. Two apologies for yesterday's show. One, I did say the third string quarterback and I didn't say Jack Strand's name.
30:18Yeah. And two, humongous apology to my fellow Seinfeld fans.
30:21Dave, I'm glad you brought it up because you need to, you need to address this.
30:26The Van Buren boys, their secret signal was. Yeah.
30:29The eight fingers. Eight fingers, which is the eighth president of the United States.
30:34That was so missed. Kyle said he was very disappointed.
30:37Sometimes you get a little worked up when you're talking presidents on the show and you just forget what you know.
30:44Oh, there's Marty. Ebenezer Van Buren. Yeah. Um, it was a little Ebenezer heavy yesterday.
30:49Mike, you're on the clock. Who are you taking?
30:51So I'm, I don't know how the turn is going to go.
30:55Uh, but, and I don't know if the ankle is ready for a week one, but I'm taking Jeremiah love here.
31:02Wow. I was, uh, okay. That surprised me. He's at the top of my board, man.
31:07All right. I was kind of hoping he might get passed on through to that third round.
31:13Uh, Drake London, Nico Collins, Chris Olave, Kyron Williams.
31:16Mike, you get a pick again. I certainly do.
31:19Uh, so I got Jamar, I got, I got love and this is where we're going to, we're going to inject a
31:26little bit of risk already in the third round and we're just going to take Malik neighbors.
31:31Uh, he, if you're following the news, why didn't we talk about that?
31:36Because it's, I don't know if it's a thing or not.
31:39Yeah. We don't, we haven't heard any followup. He left with a trainer with 20 minutes left to go in, in practice,
31:46but it wasn't like he was injured and left with a trainer.
31:50He just left practice 20 minutes early walking next to a trainer.
31:54I mean, literally his head coach came out and said, it's due to injury.
31:59I mean, that was the, that was the actual head.
32:02I just think it's if a guy has had two surgeries and missed a bunch of off season and we have a
32:09bunch of questions around him and then he leaves with a trainer.
32:13To me, that's news. There should be more information this morning.
32:17Yeah. I mean, maybe he's fine. It's just, I don't want to hear that at all about a player with an injury.
32:24Agreed. It is high risk, high reward here. McBride goes, uh, 304 again, Bowers is 208.
32:29Devante Smith, Garrett Wilson, Rashi Rice, Tett McMillan, Ladd McConkie.
32:32What do you think of that order for that five pack of wideouts?
32:36Which by the way, quite the delight for me needing a running back to see wide receiver.
32:42See, this round has been seven wide receivers, a tight end.
32:45I thought I wasn't going to have a shot at a good running back.
32:50So Andy, it said that the tweet was Malik walked off with the trainer with 20 minutes left in practice after having a full workload.
32:58Harbaugh said he didn't get an update after practice that the early departure was injury related.
33:03Did not. Didn't get an update after practice. It's worded very strange.
33:07I thought they said that it was injury related, but he doesn't have an update on it.
33:13Yeah. So I, maybe I misread it. Could be a different tweet.
33:17Uh, it's possible. Yes. Somebody else might've said something different.
33:20I don't know. You need to know foot clan.
33:23I don't like it. We don't know. Yeah. No, we don't know.
33:27Um, hopefully he's totally fine. Well, I know who Andy's taken here.
33:31You do? Yeah, for sure. Here's a direct Harbaugh quote.
33:34It wasn't part of the plan. I'll find out what's going on.
33:38I'm sure it's something with the trainers. There's no injury.
33:41We'll talk afterwards. I stand corrected. All right. Yeah, that's good.
33:45That makes me much happier. Nice pick, Mike. We did it.
33:48I think. Honestly, every word he said in that sense, I went, huh?
33:52Yeah. It was a very roller coaster. Huh? So this is awesome for fantasy players right now because this is rubber meets the road.
34:00I have two wide receivers. I'm on Ross St.
34:03Brown and Justin Jefferson. The obvious pick with no variables in play is Josh Jacobs to be your RB1.
34:09He's made to be the RB1. I'm not going to take him here.
34:13I cannot have the risk of my RB1 having this suspension thing holding over him.
34:18And I have a player that I love. And I mean, he was in my guy consideration too for a period of time or fantasy MVP consideration.
34:27I am taking Brees Hall at the 3-10. Oh, Brees Lightning.
34:31I think Brees Hall and Garrett Wilson equal Jets offense.
34:34They paid him this offseason. I have tremendous confidence in it, and I'm willing to let Jacobs go.
34:40Call them both bell cows. I know that Jason will probably take Jacobs.
34:44Yeah, I did. I knew you were going to take Brees Hall.
34:48And honestly, I think if I was on the clock and had to choose between Brees Hall and Josh Jacobs right now, I would do the same thing.
34:57Well, in your position, you had Ken Walker. So you're a little bit more like if you were surprised by suspension, you're
35:04not completely devoid of running backs at that point.
35:07So that was part of my consideration. But if I had already taken a running back, maybe I'd go the other way.
35:14Yeah. So now that I've got Jacobs and Walker and A.J.
35:18Brown, I'm looking for another wide receiver. Trevante Williams and Josh Allen went next.
35:22Yes, between my two picks. You know, it's funny here.
35:26There's a lot of wide receivers I like, Jalen Warren, Emeka Ibuka.
35:29One guy that I really am considering here would be Jamison Williams.
35:33This is much further. Whoa! I'm near the turn, so there's no – I just have to take who I think is the best wide receiver.
35:42And I would say that of those guys, I would have taken Jamison Williams if T.
35:47Higgins wasn't on the board. But T is a tier above for me.
35:51Is this because of the meat comments earlier? Is that in the back of your mind?
35:56The meat comments are unrelated. You're going to meet Higgins?
36:00Yeah, I'm going to meet Higgins. Knowing that you're not retiring Joe Burrow is a pretty big deal to me.
36:06Yeah, that's not the plan at least. We'll find out tomorrow night live at the Van Buren.
36:12All right. Considerations for me here. I'm right back on the clock.
36:16I'm on Ross St. Brown, Jefferson, Brees Hall. The trouble I have here is I am a big believer in Travis H.N.
36:23Jr. in New Orleans. That's at the top of my running back list.
36:27But at wide receiver, Emeka Abuka is sitting there.
36:30Zay Flowers is sitting there. Both of those guys I see in an elite tier.
36:35So it's kind of between those two spots. I will be really thin at running back.
36:40And the running backs are a bit of trouble down the way.
36:44So long wait for me. I'm going back and forth here.
36:47Bucky Irving, we've heard pretty good stuff. Cam Scadaboo is on the board.
36:52And that kind of ends my list of, you know, I'm not taking Travion, even though he was a my guy yesterday, right?
36:59Yeah. No, I know he was a my guy.
37:02I can't believe you did it twice. You should take him.
37:06You did it twice. I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger on Zay Flowers here at 403.
37:12My man. I'm going to take Zay Flowers. I mean, I wish you wouldn't, but I don't know if you can get
37:19much better than Amon Ra, Jefferson Flowers. That's stack.
37:22That's a lot of targets. So I'll go there.
37:25That's healthy. Colston Loveland at 404. There he goes.
37:28Oh, Mr. Loveland. DeAndre Swift stolen from the grip of Mike Wright.
37:32I figured Julia would do that. Cam Scadaboo, Jalen Waddle off the board.
37:36Waddle very excited for him. And then there goes Travis H.
37:39And Jr. and Emeka Abuka. So Mike has Chase, Love, and Neighbors.
37:43I'm going to give him a second. We'll take a break and we'll come back and finish this mock draft.
37:50I'm really happy to hear that Neighbors update compared to the tweet.
37:54I liked about half of it. Yeah. I mean, just what part did you like?
37:59The part where it wasn't injury related? Well, it was.
38:02Why did he leave with the trainers though, man?
38:05Yeah, that's part of the part you didn't like.
38:08Guys, they've been hanging out a lot. Was this a Froyo thing?
38:12Yeah. They're just bro-ing down. Oh, they probably were going to miss the discount.
38:16If they didn't leave about 20 minutes early. All right.
38:19You got to get those punch cards filled. Yeah.
38:22I mean, you got to get out to the front yard.
38:26I got $10 off at Frozen Zone, whatever. Neighbors should do everything they can to walk off practice as far away from trainers as possible.
38:34So we're not confused. Mike, you're on the clock.
38:37Chase, Neighbors, Love. Love. It's a little interesting because Love and Neighbors are both kind of risky biscuits to start the year.
38:44They are. They are. I think that Love, by the time it shows, I don't know, because we're not getting full reporting out there.
38:52DeAndre Swift would have been a delightful pick right here had he fallen to me in the fourth round.
38:58Um, but it does give me an opportunity, a player who I've been hot and bothered for most of the off season
39:05and just the drafts have not worked out for me, but I still believe I am taking Bayshall Tootin of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
39:13I think that he will be the main guy and, you know, I think it will, this whole LeQuint Allen is playing third down and we're rotating Crod.
39:22I think when it comes down to it, it's going to be Bayshall Tootin as the majority of the backfield.
39:28All right. After Tootin goes, Bucky Irving finally at 411.
39:31That was a tough choice. I'm sure Tootin and Irving, uh, different committees situations there.
39:36Tyler Warren, Jadarian Price. Jadarian Price at 501. That's a good deal.
39:40And you knew, you knew Kyle was going to take Tyler Warren with his hatred of Colson Love, man.
39:46Uh, he would of course take Warren. By the way, that's price over Monty Judkins.
39:51It's price over. I would too. Yeah, I'm fine with that.
39:55I think it's the exact right spot for him.
39:58DJ Moore at 502. Uh, did you guys see the comments from DJ Moore yesterday?
40:03I did not. It was kind of a. What's he got to say these days?
40:07He was so complimentary of Josh Allen that it was an insult to Caleb Williams.
40:12Oh, yeah. It was. You think DJ Moore is not a little bit bitter about last year?
40:18Well, it was, it was kind of interesting because it was about like the off the field relationship and how it helps the on field relationship.
40:26It seemed like it was saying some stuff. You know what I mean?
40:31Like, obviously he's going to be happy and proud of his new quarterback.
40:35Josh Allen isn't out there doing the same spreads.
40:38No, he's modeling. Jason. That's what I'm saying. Yeah.
40:41No, a magazine spread is what obviously what I meant.
40:44You know, look, look, we shouldn't have that. That's so fast.
40:47Caleb is, you know, he's out there. Jason was in the middle of this.
40:52Caleb Williams is a much better looking dude than Josh Allen.
40:56No, he's not. Haley Steinfeld. Oh, no, I'm not counting that.
40:59I'm just saying. I don't know. Caleb Williams is much better.
41:03I'm not saying Caleb Williams is unattractive, but it sounds like you're saying Josh Allen is unattractive, which is nonsense.
41:09Yeah, it sounds like it sounds like you took this in a direction I didn't expect it to go.
41:15I'm just trying to just drive right into the L.
41:19All right. More off the board. Mike back on the clock.
41:22He's five Oh three. Two wides to running back.
41:25And this one is brutal. No, because I know what my opportunity costs.
41:29There's two players that I am. I am locked into.
41:33And I know I won't get one of them.
41:36And that makes me really sad. All this, whatever, all this walkthrough.
41:39It's like my guy, Christian Watson. We are in the range where he will not make it back to the 610.
41:46So I love him as a wide receiver three.
41:49I think that that is incredible. But Joe Burrow to go with my Jamar Chase here and strike the fear of God
41:56into everyone who is matched up against me in a week.
42:00I mean, I that's hard to pass on as well.
42:03I think you might get him next round though.
42:06Joe Burrow. I mean, you're good. You have only one quarterback off the board.
42:11You're talking Lamar Daniels. I'm just throwing it out there.
42:14Sure. And again, every person in this draft is listening to our internal thoughts.
42:18They were already at this point. It was already.
42:21I just wondered if you would get. I feel like you would get him in a normal job.
42:27Maybe not now that we've said it out loud because asking our staff not to troll us.
42:33Impossible. I'm just going to take the guy, Christian Watson.
42:36There is no chance he would have gotten Joe Burrow.
42:39This I wrote down forever ago. 5.3 Joe Burrow because I knew you were the only guy taking him from me.
42:46I mean, now anybody could take him from me because I got T Higgins.
42:51Yeah. I was like, just because you have T Higgins doesn't mean you should take Joe Burrow at 5.11.
42:57No, I wouldn't. I'd take him at 6.2. Really?
43:00Yeah. But I mean, I was just, I knew you were going to, I was so happy you didn't take him.
43:06So wait, hold on. Let me, I feel like this is breaking news here where like, you're going to take Burrow who
43:14I know isn't, I mean, you have probably several quarterbacks ahead of Burrow.
43:18He's my quarterback three and six point. Oh, he's going to be here for you, Jay.
43:23Yeah. I mean, he usually would be there. The only question is, will the Jamar Chase person pull that stack off or not?
43:30And then obviously the person between me. I've never seen a Burrow fight.
43:35The dude's about to retire. That's a weird. I thought you said he wasn't.
43:39Yeah. You're going back and forth on this. You think I have any control over this stuff?
43:45Yes, I do actually. Sometimes. You think I tried to kill the queen?
43:49I know that you were. I don't know that you didn't try.
43:53Rest in peace, Smash Mouth. Okay. So huge wide receiver run.
43:56Yeah. That makes me feel. More Watson, Williams, McLaurin, Evans, Burden, Tate.
44:00Judkins goes off the board. I was kind of hoping for Judkins to be my RB2 there.
44:06I end up with David Mopportunity. We've got a fancy time machine.
44:10So we're going to talk about David Montgomery tomorrow.
44:13Jason, you're on the clock. I'm just, I mean, maybe you can take Burrow at 5'11 and 6'02.
44:19Maybe. So obviously the person between me on the turn has Josh Allen.
44:23I know I would never take Joe Burrow here, but I do love the idea of stacking Joe Burrow with Tee Higgins.
44:30However, there are a lot of players here that might just be better for my team.
44:35Travion Henderson, Devontae Adams, and Roma Dunze are three players I absolutely love.
44:39Um, in this spot. So I'm, I'm balanced at wide receiver and running back.
44:44I'm going to take either Devontae Adams or Roma Dunze.
44:47I have been rising higher and higher on Devontae Adams lately.
44:51Some of the quotes coming out from McVay about watching the film and, and seeing that he had a lot more to
44:58give as part of the reason they backed out of the AJ Brown trade.
45:02But I'm also a believer in Rome. I'm going to take Devontae Adams, old man.
45:07Uh, I'm, I'm going to pull the trigger and I think that he will still be good this year.
45:13The nice against age. The nicest thing about Adams is that the worst version of Adams can still score double digit touchdowns in this offense.
45:22And the best version of Adams is much better than his ADP.
45:25He's going to be an injury risk. He's one of the two oldest.
45:30He's less of an injury risk today than Mike Evans is as the other oldest.
45:35A Dunze does go next. Parker Washington at six Oh one.
45:38Jason, you're back on the clock. And now I'm sitting here.
45:42This is where I said at the six, two, I was going to take Joe Burrow, which I, I like.
45:48The value is fine. I stack him with T Higgins.
45:51Great quarterback. There are a lot of late round quarterbacks.
45:55I like considering the fact that I already have two running backs.
45:59I know I'm Trevo, Trevo. That's, that's, that's who I'm actually going to take.
46:03I'm going to, Trevo is an RB three. Yes.
46:06Is in the sixth round is where he should be going.
46:10Dep chart in new England. Yeah, sure. It's where he should be going in the sixth round.
46:15Most of this off season has been a fourth rounder.
46:18Now, you know, you can take their RB one right there though.
46:22Yes. I could have taken Ramondre Stevenson, but as my RB three, I am going for the highest upside at the pick.
46:29So we'll see if there is a Burrow makes it back to you.
46:34I'll take Ramondre right after Trevo there as another running back for my team.
46:38There was another report yesterday about how Ramondre is performing at camp and how good he looks.
46:44So I'm, I'm all in on him. I think he could be, I think he could be very, very good.
46:50Lamar goes at 604. Krosky Merritt at 605. Kraft.
46:53And Marvin Harrison, what a steal at 607, I think.
46:56I think so. Jalen Hurts goes next. Yeah. I knew you would do it, Josh.
47:01Yeah. That's my point. It's just, it's such a stupid pick for your team.
47:06It doesn't make any sense, Josh. You have it.
47:09You took a tight end in the third. Nobody has the courage to just do this draft properly, but Joe Burrow goes.
47:16Undo the pick. It's dumb. Josh, you don't even want Burrow.
47:19You don't. Yeah. I'm taking it away. In fact, I'm drafting somebody.
47:23Thank you. So listen. Joe Burrow's on my team, baby.
47:27Oh my God. Woo! But here was. Don't doubt the power of the commissioner.
47:31Go back in time. What a. The reason I thought you could get him, Mike, which I totally, believed was because even
47:38though Jason had it written down on a piece of paper, I knew when he gets on the clock, he's going to
47:45see names that when no other quarterbacks have been off the board, he's going to pass on him.
47:51You were a good friend to me today. Because he got there and he could have taken Adams and Travion.
47:58So I just saved you all around, Mike. You got Watson and Burrow and there was no other way you were getting both those dudes.
48:06No. No, there was not. Josh selected Drake May, not Burrow.
48:09Yes, because he, I mean, even, even Drake May is a dumb pick for you there, man.
48:15Why are you taking a. Joe Burrow was actually a good pick for him, I think.
48:20I know what you're saying because he already had a onesie, but since he has two running backs, two wide receivers, I
48:27wouldn't have blamed him in a real draft. Yeah, but why was he taking him?
48:32It was probably for trolling. Brian Thomas Jr., Godwin, Dowdle and Stribbling.
48:36Dajon in the seven. You're telling me the guy whose team name in the league of record is Grumpy Old Trolls was trolling?
48:44Yeah. I think the math checks out. It got so close to like nobody trolling there.
48:49Yeah. Dajon Stribbling at 7.02 goes behind Godwin, which I think is interesting.
48:53Mike, you're back on the clock here at 7.03.
48:56And you know what I must do? The running back position is.
49:00Oh, yeah. It's kidding. Just kidding. The running back position.
49:03One leg. We're at the current lead, too. At the top of the ADP is Warren, Chuba.
49:09Chuba and Tony Pollard. I could not be more.
49:11I don't want them on the team. I don't want them on my team.
49:16I don't think you would take them with your last round pick.
49:20That's where Warren is for me. Warren's in that group of those two dudes.
49:24Oh, you just don't want them? I just don't want them on my team.
49:29I just don't have interest. So, J.K. Dobbins is there for me at 7.03.
49:34I have my faith in J.K. Dobbins has been very, very strong all offseason because R.J.
49:39Harvey. I will be honest, the Jonah Coleman love that Sean Payton is bestowing upon him has me more nervous about a larger timeshare than I want.
49:48All right, we are cooking here in the seventh round.
49:51Dobbin, Sutton, Jonathan Brooks, great pick by Cash Money.
49:54Fannin off the board, and then Jaden Daniels goes as the quarterback six.
49:58Really bad news about that offensive line lately. Losing Tunzel is a huge problem for them because the commander's offensive line with Tunzel was a huge problem.
50:07And then you lose your best player on that offensive line, and I think there is big-time concern.
50:13I think we're all concerned about that offense. I'm concerned about Daniels.
50:16Daniels is almost not being drafted by me. I would not have considered him at 7'10".
50:22There's guys I like more. It's like, and it's a bunch of people.
50:26A bunch of beat reporters are like, this is the- Yeah, what's that last quote yesterday?
50:31Well, the one that we- Nicky, oh gosh, I'm going to butcher that last name.
50:36Javala? This is the worst? Nailed it. I've ever seen the commander's offensive line in years, inoperable offensive.
50:42Inoperable. That's heavy. That means the offense was not doing well.
50:45Yeah, inoperable. Yeah. Sounds like a tumor. No, it's not a tumor.
50:49No, it's a tumor. Alec Pearson, Jalen Warren goes off the board.
50:53I'm back on the clock. Honestly, when you have a- When an offensive line is just that bad, and every year there's
51:00a team or two that has the offensive line where there's nothing that this team can do.
51:06You're running everything. You're quarterback. You're running back. You're wide receiver.
51:09Everything just gets nerfed. It's not that they won't have some stats and some games, but anytime they're matched up against a
51:17competent defensive line, you're like, can I play Bill this week?
51:20And you're like, probably not. The running back position may be inoperable for the commanders.
51:25Yeah, it's very possible. I'm going to take Caleb Williams.
51:28My guy at 7'10 here. That's a good pick.
51:31And I've got Amon Raj, Everson and Flowers, Bree Saul, Montgomery and Stevenson.
51:35I feel pretty good. I feel like the depth is there.
51:39Jason, you're back on the clock. You've got Walker, Jacobs, Henderson with A.J.
51:43Brown, Higgins and Adams. That's a very similar situation.
51:46You have depth, you have upside, and you're on the clock.
51:50Yeah, and I think I'm going to probably- Looking at the quarterbacks that are left, I like Jackson Dart and Dak Prescott.
51:57I'm going to take one with my next pick.
52:00Like, right here I would be looking at the tight end position.
52:04If I liked Kyle Pitts the way that Andy did, I would take him.
52:08I don't, so I won't. The running backs that are on the board, they're the guys that might just illustrate, like Chuba
52:15and Tony Pollard, starters, that you just don't want.
52:18There's really no upside, and eventually they'll probably lose their jobs.
52:22I'm going to take someone who doesn't have the job yet.
52:25I would love to leave my drafts with him everywhere that I can, and if he's my running back four, I don't have to worry.
52:33He can be a stash. There is the world where he is a flex with benefits, but should an injury happen to Kyron Williams?
52:41Again, I've said this forever. I think Kyron is going to be an RB1 for fantasy.
52:46I'm bullish on Kyron. He did Blake Corum. Yes, but Blake Corum is not a- He's a great player, and should an
52:54injury happen, he is a league winner. All right, Mason and Laporta.
52:58Jason, you're right back on the clock here with 8.02.
53:01You do have your onesies left. I have my tight end left, and Mike, you have your tight end left throughout the remainder four rounds.
53:09Jason has some options. Yeah, I'm between Dak and Jackson Dart.
53:12Dak and Dart. I think Darts- Why does that sound so funny?
53:16Dak and Dart. Dak and Dart. I don't know.
53:19I think Dart's upside is higher, but Dak is so good.
53:23He's never not been a- You think it is?
53:26I do think it is because he can rush for 800 yards, and if you do that at the quarterback position, your upside can be tremendously high.
53:35Again, I just took Dak. He's 800, huh? Yeah, I mean, he was on pace for 750 or something last year.
53:41He'll be an on-pace guy the rest of his career.
53:45Fair. With the injuries. Yeah, I mean, again, I drafted Dak.
53:48Yeah, yeah. He's just the pace card. Well, Dak, you- Yeah.
53:52He's always a quarterback one, and oftentimes, very many- You know, several times through his career, he's been a top-five quarterback.
53:59If he plays a season, he's fantastic. With those two wide receivers and a bad defense, I mean, it's basically Joe Burrow cheap.
54:06It's the cheaper Joe Burrow. Yes. We were on with Mina Kimes yesterday, and she asked us that question.
54:12After we said we kind of, you know, we're mostly positive about Hurts for the draft price, it was like Hurts versus
54:19Dak, and we were all like, well, I'll take Dak.
54:23Mm-hmm. By the way, for tight end, I have four guys at the back of the draft.
54:28When I don't have a top-tier name- There's so many.
54:31There's four names at least that I am completely willing to wait until the last one goes.
54:37Pitts, Likely, Goddard, and Kincaid. Those four names, until that tier is gone, I'm not going to rush it.
54:43I'd rather take Concepcion. I would throw Juwan Johnson in there as well.
54:47Yeah, you can. Yeah. And our manager would throw TJ Hawkinson in there.
54:52Oh, man. Gross. Lee, he is- He's all in.
54:54I'll tell you who was still- I haven't heard anyone talk about Hawkinson this whole year.
55:00He was- When I got to the end of my CBS draft, and you look at the ADP, I scrolled three or
55:07four times, and I was like, oh, there's Hawkinson down there.
55:10Yeah, I mean, Hawkinson or Eli Stowers. Well, there I'll go Hawkinson.
55:14Mike, you're on the clock. Four picks left. So, Cash taking George Kittle there really takes some wind out of the sails,
55:21because that would- George Kittle in the eighth is- I thought about it.
55:26Oh, I'm surprised. Kyle Pitts is there. Was there, at least.
55:29I don't know if he'll make it back to you.
55:32Is he still there? Yep. Yeah, no, I'm not taking him.
55:36So he was- Oh, come on, Mike. You should do it.
55:40Pua. Standards. It would help you. Pua. Pua is, you know, short area targets.
55:44The running back position, where just, it's like, you're just, you're grabbing some high-level insurance guys.
55:49Or Tony Pollard is still there, everybody. That's a great pick.
55:53For you having Jeremiah Love, right, let me make the argument.
55:56Right, okay. You have injury-prone Dobbins, you have Jeremiah Love, who might not start the year, and you've got Baisal Tootin, who
56:04may, we may see some committee settling situations to start the year.
56:08Whereas Tony Pollard, eight of eight opportunities with the starters in the last game.
56:12Looked good, looked spry down the sideline. That's all I got.
56:16I, let's, man. I'm working out some strategy in my head here.
56:20So because we're in the eight, we just have a couple rounds left.
56:24I do need my tight end, but at this point, I just, I don't know if I care really who it is.
56:31I am going, we always play with an IR spot, which is very important for this draft pick.
56:37I'm taking Jordan Tyson, and I'm just gonna stash.
56:40I'm sad about that. I was fully expecting him to get back to me.
56:44Gotcha. Yeah. Gotcha. I mean, that's, it's aggressive and early, because, you know, Makai Lemon went just after.
56:50I would have taken Lemon over Tyson. Okay. My dream was to get both those guys to the next turn.
56:57They went at this turn, so that was a stupid dream.
57:00But yeah, if you do have an IR spot, Jordan Tyson late in drafts.
57:05I would take him over Lemon myself. Yeah? Yeah, I would.
57:08I just think the pathway is much cleaner, despite the injury.
57:12And Lemon, Addison, Lloyd, and Dart off the board.
57:15Mike, you're in the ninth. So, trying to look over at my tight end rankings doesn't matter.
57:20Kyle Pitts is there. Dalton Kincaid, I can make the path for Dalton Kincaid to really pay off.
57:26Kelsey, if you just want the floor. Ferguson, only if CD or George misses time.
57:31Isaiah Likely, he, that's probably why Andy passed on Pitts, just because he had the Isaiah Likely ripcord.
57:37Um, I'm gonna, and then, man, running backs are absolutely a disaster at this point.
57:42I'll just take one more high upside wide receiver, which we haven't talked about him in quite a while.
57:48I'm gonna take huge. All right, Quinton Johnson, apparently you really disappointed Papa Josh.
57:52I heard a groan. For huge? You can't huge groan in the night.
57:57That's the one guy I had queued up, so.
58:00You had him queued up. yeah. Swish. I love Michael Keaton.
58:03You can't. Josh Downs is probably a, such a better pick than Quinton Johnson.
58:08You can't groan for huge in the night. You can't.
58:11Downs, Pollard, Golden. I was targeting Golden. I was, I was targeting Golden, Downs, and Huge.
58:16Reed, Wandale, and, uh, here we go. DK Metcalf off the board.
58:20Uh, a name popped into my head a moment ago that I'm gonna take here.
58:25I still have a bunch of the, I mean, Kyle Pitts is there.
58:29I'll take Kyle Pitts. Yeah, dude, come on, get to me at the next pick.
58:34So. What's that name? Um, what is that name?
58:37I think Kyle Pitts probably would have as well.
58:40I think it's Tariq Cohen. I think that was his name.
58:43The dinosaur hunter. Love that dude. Uh, Mike, or Jason, you're on the clock here.
58:48You do need a tight end, but otherwise you are free and clear.
58:52Yeah, I'm alright. Uh, you know, I, I ended up with the sloppy leftovers of the Steelers.
58:58I was gonna take DK Metcalf or Michael Pittman once all the guys that I like are gone.
59:04I mean, Michael Golden, uh, Matthew Golden, Josh Downs, huge, Makai Lemon, Jordan Tyson, like all those guys better.
59:10But I mean, Metcalf and Pittman is so funny.
59:13Like they are legitimate, highly paid, successful NFL wide receivers who are, I mean, they're being drafted after guys that are injured
59:20for the first month of the season. Pittman should be fine for fantasy.
59:24That was a bread on a pit sandwich there.
59:27Metcalf, Pitts, Pittman. That's crazy. Two top two. I mean, that is how we think of Rogers production this year.
59:34Uh, Diggs, Charbonnet, Jason back on the clock, two picks left.
59:37Uh, I, this is my late round, uh, hopeful target at tight end is Dalton Kincaid.
59:42You know, Andy's in on pits at the end.
59:45I'm in on Kincaid at the end. I, I think pits is safer.
59:50Um, certainly Kincaid has, I think a path to be really, really special.
59:54Yeah. I can't imagine myself taking Kincaid over pits in any situation where like pits for his, all his warts had a great year.
60:02Oh, cash. I, I, by the way, I took Romeo Dobbs.
60:05That was the name I mentioned. Romeo Dobbs at 10 Oh three, Cyrus Allen, Aaron Jones, Jalen Coco, Trevor Lawrence, Tyler, Algier,
60:12Woody Marks, I was going to, Algier was my next, I was going to bring Algier up to you at this pick, assuming he would be there.
60:21Good pick. I figured I could take huge and be safe getting Tyler, during the 10th, but now when Chris cash is around, taking my picks.
60:30Sounds like a wild West villain. Chris cash. Yeah.
60:33Fastest draw on the West. The Saturn, Mississippi, Christopher cash.
60:36There you go. You do need the Christopher. Uh, so looking at, I need a tight end looking through the turn.
60:43One of the teams has a tight end. The other one does not.
60:47Ah, so. I mean, you have the opportunity here, Mike, to take the right pick in Isaiah likely.
60:53Or the wrong pick in not Isaiah likely. Well, there's two tight ends that I am perfectly fine going into the, uh,
61:00I, the year with you're going, Joe on, aren't you?
61:03Yeah. So I'm just at this point. Yours is funny.
61:06If you take Joe on, it's great for your team because, um, when he, when he, uh, when Tyson returns and Joe
61:13on, the relative, you've got to do a little swap ski.
61:17Um, but you'll need a tight end then. I will.
61:20I'm going to take tank Bixby. That was a real left turn out of that conversation between them.
61:26Well, I told you the, the, I didn't really care if it was likely or, or Jawan Johnson, Washington, Alan, Nick's likely Jawan Johnson in the 11th.
61:35So I'll let Brittany get that Kyle. Manung guy.
61:38Dart likely. I love that pick in the last round for Papa Josh.
61:42Uh, Manung guy, just because he hasn't been, you know, he's missed some camp.
61:47It doesn't mean they don't like this guy that he's not going to have a role.
61:52Chris Rodriguez, Don TV and Wicks, Patrick Mahomes off the board.
61:55As we close this thing out. And, uh, Dallas Goddard goes at 11 0 8.
62:00We've got three picks left. I have Jonah Coleman queued up.
62:04He is the pick at 11 10. And Jason makes his final pick as we close this mock out.
62:10Dontayvion Wicks, just real quick as a really light round sleeper.
62:14I mean, I look at him like Dobbs. So I took Dobbs ahead of him, but both guys should start.
62:20Yes. As the outside wide receiver too on good teams.
62:23And I look, it's probably just anecdotal, but in, you know, it's teammates, but like, I just saw Barkley talking about Don
62:30TV and Wicks and he's just like real. It felt like real genuine, when like, I believe in this player.
62:37I can't believe we got him for, for so cheap.
62:40So I just, I think Wicks is Wicks belongs as a, as a late round sleeper.
62:45That's the first time I have ever seen Omar Cooper drafted in my entire life.
62:50Outside of, you know, rookie drafts, uh, Caleb John, Caleb Douglas with Jason's, uh, final pick.
62:55And then, um, yeah, yeah. Terrible, terrible final. But how insane is it?
63:00I took Caleb Douglas, a late round drafted guy on a, you know, a terrible offense.
63:05It won't work. Absolutely. Caleb Douglas will not work over a first round NFL wide receiver this year in Omar Cooper Jr.
63:12And I would do it a hundred out of a hundred times.
63:16Yeah. Yeah. All right. Uh, that is it for today's mock draft.
63:20Let's run it back. The, uh, the rosters here.
63:23I'm on Ross, A. Brown, Jefferson, Flowers, Concepcion, and Dobbs at my wide receiver position.
63:28I like that. Brees Hall, Montgomery, Stevenson, and a late Jonah Coleman.
63:31And my onesies, Caleb Williams and Kyle Pitts. I've got Ken Bone Walker, Josh Jacobs, Travion Henderson, and Blake Corum.
63:38I know you wanted to hit that. I did, but I wasn't on the right screen.
63:43Ken Bone Walker. I've got A. J. Brown, T.
63:46Higgins, Devante Adams, Michael Pittman, and Caleb Douglas at wide receiver.
63:50And then Dak Prescott and Dalton Kincaid in my onesies.
63:53Jamar Chase, Malik Neighbors, Christian Watson, Kuge, and then Jordan, uh, Tyson are my wide receivers.
63:58Jeremiah Love, Bashal Tootin, J.K. Dobbins, and then Tank Bigsby as insurance are my running backs.
64:03Juwanson is my starting tight end for the time being.
64:07And then Joe Burrow to go with Jamar Chase.
