A.J. Brown

PositiveRole53:01

The source suggests A.J. Brown should be frustrated with Jalen Hurts's target distribution, noting that Hurts would rather throw to Smith in triple coverage than get the ball to Brown, implying Brown is being underutilized relative to his elite talent.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

PositiveRole8:08

Alec Pierce is gone from the Colts, which has opened up target share and opportunity for Josh Downs to become the primary receiver in the offense.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

NegativeRole22:32

Antonio Williams' snap count has not risen to a level that would warrant strong fantasy consideration; the source characterizes him as an injury-away or next-year play, suggesting limited current upside.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveProjection33:48

The source is very bullish on Braylon Allen for this week in particular, citing Prize Picks projections of 70.5 rushing receiving yards. The source expresses enthusiasm for this projection as a start candidate.

Insight page
PositiveValue64:02

Allen is presented as a potential alternative to Javante Williams against Houston's number two-ranked run defense. The source suggests Allen will likely accumulate more yards than Williams, though Williams retains some touchdown upside.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveBreakout50:12

Brock Bowers is being compared to this year's version of JSN (Jaxon Smith-Njigba) based on his dominant performance; the source describes him as a 'cheat code' who is consistently open and uncoverable, drawing comparisons to peak Travis Kelsey games where the tight end is simply too difficult to defend.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeProjection6:14

Bryce Young is noted as the league leader in passing yards, mentioned in the context of weather concerns and dome discussions.

Insight page

Cam Ward

PositiveProjection64:02

Ward has zero completions over 20 yards, ranks 34th in yards per attempt, and has shown poor footwork and decision-making. The source criticizes his play as 'unserious' quarterback play, noting he stopped moving mid-play last week and threw an interception in the end zone that cost Tennessee a win. His slow play and low completion volume (23 completions two weeks ago, 13 completions the week before) severely limit his receivers' fantasy value despite decent target shares.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveBreakout63:51

Tate had nine targets, six catches, and 58 yards in Week 3 with a wide-open touchdown that was missed; he has a 25% target share through three weeks as a rookie. The source strongly recommends not dropping him despite Cam Ward's poor play, noting his routes are fantastic and he is being targeted consistently. Comparisons to Emeka Ibuka (22% target share in first three weeks) and Rome (18%) suggest Tate's target share is strong for a rookie, and the source believes he should have had a touchdown. The source explicitly states 'I saw people dropping Carnell Tate. No, no, no, no, no. And I went to scoop him up immediately. I think that is a massive mistake.'

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection65:28

Lamb is listed as a start of the week against Houston's defense, which has been beaten in the passing game through the first three weeks.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeProjection65:44

Loveland is presented as an alternative tight end option to Jake Ferguson in the Dallas-Houston game, though the source does not provide specific reasoning for or against him.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveProjection27:21

The source is fully bought in on DJ Moore as the primary wide receiver for a great team, projecting him as a potential top-ten wide receiver by year's end; despite an injury game that resulted in negative 0.1 fantasy points, he returned with a shoulder injury and received ten targets, demonstrating strong offensive involvement that supports a significantly higher redraft ranking than his current market value.

Insight page
PositiveValue27:21

DJ Moore is identified as a compelling trade-for candidate; the source believes he would be significantly higher in a redraft based on his involvement and performance this year, making him an attractive acquisition target despite current market undervaluation.

Insight page
PositiveRole27:25

The source likes DJ Moore as a trade-for candidate; he's been very involved with 10 targets and the source believes he will continue to be there despite a recent injury.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeMatchup26:04

Facing New England, which ranks number one in fewest points allowed to tight ends at 4.5 points per game on average. Prize Picks projects Kincaid at 53.5 receiving yards. The source notes this is a very tough matchup but acknowledges the projections are still there with confidence. When asked whether to play Kincaid or Darren Waller, the source still leans toward Kincaid despite the difficult matchup.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveProjection65:15

Schultz has the second most targets for Houston and is a start if Nico Collins does not play. The source notes this is a revenge game for him against his former team Dallas.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveMatchup26:47

The source describes Waller's situation as 'a firestorm of a perfect situation' in Week 4, suggesting strong matchup appeal. When asked whether to play Waller or Kincaid, the source acknowledges Waller's appeal but still leans toward Kincaid.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveValue30:37

The source asserts Adams is more valuable at the end of the year than Puka Nacua; last year Adams finished as wide receiver eight, demonstrating sustained production independent of Puka's return. The source emphasizes that Puka's return does not destroy Adams' value the way it impacts other Rams receivers like Terrence Ferguson and Tyler Higbee.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeProjection64:06

Montgomery has been inefficient with 6 carries for 10 yards and 11 carries for 33 yards over the last two weeks with no touchdowns. However, he played 63% of snaps last week and remains the team's lead back despite poor performance. The source suggests he could be benched in many leagues but may have two touchdowns against Dallas's 25th-ranked run defense, making him a potential bounce-back candidate.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection62:37

With Baltimore favored by 11.5 points against 0-3 Tennessee and an over-under of 42.5 (implying 27 points for Baltimore), Henry is a core start in a dominant matchup; the source explicitly lists him as a must-start alongside Jackson and Flowers.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveRole52:43

Smith is being targeted too heavily by Jalen Hurts despite other receivers being open; the source criticizes Hurts for repeatedly targeting Smith in double coverage while ignoring wide-open options like Makai Lemon, suggesting inefficient target allocation that may limit Smith's upside.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup54:18

Smith is dealing with a hamstring injury heading into Week 4 against the Rams, adding injury concern to an already difficult matchup for the Eagles offense.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeMatchup22:47

Drake Maye faces a difficult matchup traveling to Buffalo to face Josh Allen and the Bills defense; the source suggests this is a shaky situation where Maye may be forced to put the team on his shoulders and do more, rather than relying on running the ball efficiently and defense.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveRole32:06

The source highlights that the Jets have been a competent team this year, and competence at quarterback means relevance for Garrett Wilson. This suggests Wilson's fantasy value is tied to the Jets' improved offensive performance and quarterback play.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveValue8:08

George Pickens is a trade target against Houston in Week 4. Houston is 30th in explosive pass play rate and 30th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. Pickens has the second-largest gap between expected fantasy points and actual fantasy points (only Michael Wilson underperforms more), indicating his touchdowns are on the way.

Insight page
PositiveProjection65:28

Pickens is listed as a start of the week against Dallas's defense, which is ranked 25th in run defense and has been struggling overall.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeRole65:27

With Zach Charbonnade returning to practice, Price's value is diminished. The source suggests trading him away, noting 'I think the bag is in your hands,' implying his value window is closing.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

PositiveProjection65:32

Ferguson has scored in two straight weeks and is a touchdown-or-bust tight end. In a high over-under game (48.5), he could be a viable option if you need a tight end, though the source presents him as a secondary choice compared to other options.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveRole4:30

Jalen Coker is emerging as a strong performer for the Panthers and is expected to see increased usage in Week 4 with Jalen Coker not practicing Wednesday (though not yet ruled out). The source notes Coker 'looks awesome' and suggests his emergence has caused fantasy managers to unfairly downgrade McMillan.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection52:36

Hurts has looked 'really unspecial' in recent games and is not making efficient decisions with his targets; the source expresses concern about his play and notes the Eagles' implied point total is only 20 against the Rams, making him a risky start in Week 4.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeProjection42:57

Statistically the worst quarterback in EPA per play in the league so far; described as visually the worst as well, giving the source no confidence in his ability to perform against the Giants despite Arizona's trade for McCarthy.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveRole26:00

The source lists James Cook as a clear play, implying he should be started without hesitation in Week 4.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeRole3:26

Jamison Williams is mentioned as one of two underperforming draft picks (alongside Tett McMillan) that managers might consider benching for the returning Puka Nakua in Week 4, despite both having favorable matchups.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeMatchup63:54

Williams faces Houston's number two-ranked running back defense in a tough matchup with crowd noise. The source expresses doubts about his production and suggests Braylon Allen may be a better play, noting that Allen will likely have more yards but Williams retains some touchdown upside.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveRole2:16

Gets the full workload as the featured running back for the Steelers on Thursday Night Football with Rico Dowdle ruled out.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeInjury25:25

Uncertainty around Wright's availability for Miami this week; the source cites this as a reason to prefer Ollie Gordon's workload security.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveUsage42:22

Expected to get pretty much all of the work in the Cardinals backfield against the Giants; the source projects him as a potential running back five on the week given the matchup advantage (Giants lost Brian Burns, defense is beat up) and the ground game as a key way to beat New York.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeRole0:09

Josh Allen was drafted early and is being started; mentioned as a primary quarterback option in the source's league.

Insight page
PositiveRole26:00

The source lists Josh Allen as a clear play, implying he should be started without hesitation in Week 4.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue7:14

Josh Downs exceeded 30% target share and 45% air yard share in each of the last two games; expected fantasy points were very high but touchdowns haven't landed yet. Washington is dead last in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers, and Downs is the primary first-read target with Alec Pierce gone, Keenan Allen looking bad, and Pittman gone. The source identifies him as a start of the week at wide receiver with a great matchup.

Insight page
PositiveValue44:48

The source prefers Josh Downs as a start of the week over Malik Nabers, indicating Downs has better upside or matchup appeal in the same week.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeInjury4:58

Justin Jefferson is considered day-to-day and did not practice on Wednesday, indicating potential availability concerns heading into Week 4.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeRole8:08

Keenan Allen is looking bad, which has contributed to Josh Downs becoming the primary receiver in the Colts' offense.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

NegativeInjury32:26

Kenyon Sadiq was limited in practice with a back injury, which the source speculates occurred when he laid out and appeared in pain at the end of a catch. This injury status may impact his availability or role in the Jets-Bears matchup.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveProjection62:37

With Baltimore favored by 11.5 points against 0-3 Tennessee and an over-under of 42.5 (implying 27 points for Baltimore), Jackson is a core start in a dominant matchup; the source explicitly lists him as a must-start alongside Henry and Flowers.

Insight page

Mack Hollins

PositiveRole23:32

Mack Hollins is leading the Patriots in target share, which is concerning given the overall dysfunction of the Patriots offense and the lack of clear fantasy contributors.

Insight page
NegativeUsage24:12

Leading the Patriots in target share; the source notes this as a notable fact about the Patriots' receiving corps.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

NegativeRole52:57

Lemon, a first-round rookie talent, is getting wide-open looks from Jalen Hurts but is not being targeted; the source notes Hurts is missing open receivers like Lemon in favor of DeVonta Smith in double coverage, suggesting Lemon's role and connection with Hurts should improve over time but is not yet developed.

Insight page
NegativeProjection53:25

Lemon is one of the hardest young players to hold on a fantasy roster because he is not yet producing; the source emphasizes the difficulty of benching a first-round talent while waiting for development, especially when other young receivers rotate in and out of the lineup based on weekly performance.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection43:29

Expected to receive approximately 10 targets against the Arizona Cardinals; the source anticipates a bounce-back performance after last week's weather-affected game (30 yards, 5 targets) and believes the Cardinals defense matchup will be favorable for a big play opportunity.

Insight page
NegativeRole44:04

Coming off an ACL injury with an expected slow ramp-up early in the season; the source notes this is normal recovery trajectory and was anticipated even before Jackson Dart arrived, suggesting patience is warranted despite early-season production concerns.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveProjection62:37

With Baltimore favored by 11.5 points against 0-3 Tennessee and an over-under of 42.5 (implying 27 points for Baltimore), Andrews (Flowers) is a core start in a dominant matchup; the source explicitly lists him as a must-start alongside Jackson and Henry, contingent on his return from injury.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveUsage48:15

Despite being a high draft pick, Marvin Harrison Jr. is receiving only 15% first-read target share in the Cardinals offense, well behind Michael Wilson at 45% and Tray McBride at 18%, suggesting the offense is not prioritizing him as the primary read despite his pedigree.

Insight page
PositiveRole48:46

Marvin Harrison's first-read target share dropped to 9% last week; the source notes the Arizona offense does not prioritize getting him involved, suggesting limited role in the passing game.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

PositiveRole8:08

Michael Pittman Jr. is gone from the Colts, which has opened up target share and opportunity for Josh Downs to become the primary receiver in the offense.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveProjection8:32

Michael Wilson has the largest gap between expected fantasy points and actual fantasy points, underperforming his xFP more than any other player, indicating significant touchdown regression upside ahead.

Insight page
PositiveUsage8:40

Michael Wilson came off 17 targets in Week 3 and is receiving significant first-read target share; the source notes Wilson at 45% first-read target share compared to Tray McBride at 18% and Marvin Harrison Jr. at 15%, indicating he is the primary read in the Cardinals offense despite Harrison's draft pedigree.

Insight page
PositiveUsage45:09

Coming off 17 targets in the previous game, indicating significant volume and target share in the Cardinals offense; positioned as an interesting play on the other side of the Giants-Cardinals matchup.

Insight page
PositiveRole48:11

Michael Wilson and Tray McBride share the top of Arizona's receiving depth chart; Wilson showed 45% first-read target share last week, indicating he could be a number-one target for the Cardinals offense despite earlier contention he would never hold that role.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury3:00

Did not practice on Wednesday; GM John Lynch indicated Evans will do everything he can to play through injuries, suggesting he is likely to play despite the missed practice.

Insight page
PositiveRole3:07

General manager John Lynch indicated Evans will do everything he can to play through injuries at his age, suggesting high availability and commitment to playing despite potential health concerns.

Insight page

Nicholas Singleton

NegativeRole63:26

With both Pollard and Spears unavailable due to injury, Singleton becomes the lead back for Tennessee against Baltimore; however, the source notes he is not expected to produce significantly in this blowout matchup.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveInjury65:21

Collins was seen practicing on Thursday and could return for the Dallas game. The source indicates he would be a start if he plays, noting 'They would need him' in the context of Houston's passing game.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

PositiveRole25:17

The source prefers Gordon over the Patriots running backs for the chance at 20 carries; there's uncertainty around Jalen Wright's availability for Miami, making Gordon's workload more secure. The source explicitly states 'I would play Ollie Gordon' and 'there's just no world I wouldn't try Gordon now.'

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveInjury2:22

Sean McVay said he expects Puka Nakua to play in week four against the Eagles; this is positive news for Puka managers and changes the equation for spot-start considerations at tight end.

Insight page
PositiveRole3:26

Puka Nakua is returning from injury and the source suggests he should be started over underperforming draft picks Tett McMillan and Jamison Williams in Week 4, with both receivers having favorable matchups.

Insight page
NegativeRole31:24

Puka's return from injury is contingent on full health; the source notes he did not play because his explosiveness was not there, and emphasizes the need to confirm he is 100% Puka when he returns rather than a diminished version. His return will significantly impact other Rams receivers' value but not Adams'.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeRole23:43

Rhamondre Stevenson is part of a tandem of running backs where each makes the other somewhat irrelevant; if forced to choose one, the source would start Stevenson and has them ranked back-to-back.

Insight page
NegativeRole24:23

Part of a tandem with Travion Henderson that makes each back somewhat irrelevant in terms of workload; the source ranks Ramondre ahead of Henderson and would start him if forced to choose one, but notes he's the more likely leader in fantasy points without a very high ceiling. Not a shoe-in top 15 running back, but likely a necessary start in most leagues given current NFL depth.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeInjury2:16

Ruled out for Thursday Night Football against the Steelers; the source had previously expected him to return, but he will not play, leaving Jalen Warren as the featured back.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveRole23:23

Romeo Dobbs, despite being paid significant money by the Patriots, has not generated a 10-target game; the source finds it weird that he hasn't had a major target volume game given his contract.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

PositiveMatchup9:30

Sam Darnold faces the Chargers defense, which was carved up by Kirk Cousins; Darnold finished QB1 last week with 379 yards and 4 touchdowns at home. The source describes this as a juicy matchup and a safe play this week, noting Darnold is the safest quarterback play available despite not normally being a preferred option.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeMatchup54:15

Barkley ran well last week but faces the sixth-best rush defense in Week 4, which now has Aaron Donald back; the source expresses skepticism about a big game for him given this defensive upgrade and matchup difficulty.

Insight page
PositiveProjection54:38

Despite matchup concerns, Barkley remains in play as a start due to his superstar status and volume upside; the source notes 'one run can make the whole week' and emphasizes his elite talent as a reason to roster him despite the tough Rams defense.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeMatchup22:11

Stefon Diggs plays slot receiver approximately 60% of the time and faces the Colts, who are the second most vulnerable team against slot wide receivers according to the source's numbers. However, the Mariota factor makes it harder to trust despite the favorable matchup.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveProjection21:48

Terry McLaurin is experiencing a bounce-back week with strong recent production; over the last two weeks he has generated great target share with nine targets and six catches for 77 yards, nearly scoring multiple times. The source prefers him over other receivers in the passing offense.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeInjury62:59

Pollard did not practice due to a foot injury and should be sat in the Tennessee-Baltimore matchup; the source explicitly recommends sitting all Tennessee players in this blowout scenario.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveProjection12:48

Travis Etienne is RB13 through three weeks and was RB11 last week on 17 opportunities. The source believes the Jacksonville offense is cooking and that Etienne looks like he's going to be the lead back, noting he's tried to trade for him in multiple leagues. Despite the Bengals defense improving, they still give up high rates of explosive plays, which suits Etienne's skill set.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup20:59

Travis Etienne gets a lot of work in the game against the Colts, which is described as a great matchup for him.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveProjection51:17

Elite tight ends like Kelce historically do not get shut down in games; the source notes that Kelce 'never got shut down' in his prime, establishing him as a benchmark for consistency and floor reliability.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveMatchup11:55

Trevor Lawrence faces the Cincinnati Bengals with a tied-for-highest over/under of 51.5 points for the week. While he was down in week two against Denver and not top-12 in week three against New England, the source advises not to lose faith in Lawrence this week given the favorable game environment.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeUsage48:15

Tray McBride is receiving 18% first-read target share in the Cardinals offense, placing him second behind Michael Wilson's 45% but ahead of Marvin Harrison Jr. at 15%.

Insight page
PositiveRole48:28

Tray McBride shares the top receiving role with Michael Wilson at Arizona; he received 18% first-read target share last week and is described as a very good wide receiver who should be played every week.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeRole2:22

With Puka Nakua expected to play in week four, Higbee's spot-start appeal diminishes; the source notes he may have been dropped in many leagues following the Nakua news.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveRole8:08

Tyler Warren is described as awesome by the source in the context of discussing Josh Downs and the Indianapolis Colts' passing game design, where plays are designed for specific receivers.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveSleeper64:06

Marks has looked much better than David Montgomery and should be picked up off waivers if available. He had 5 carries for 15 yards over the last two games and is averaging 3.3 yards per touch. The source suggests the Texans may move on from Montgomery and get Marks more involved, though Montgomery still receives the majority of snaps.

Insight page

Zay Jones

NegativeProjection62:37

With Baltimore favored by 11.5 points against 0-3 Tennessee and an over-under of 42.5 (implying 27 points for Baltimore), Bateman is not recommended as a start if Mark Andrews (Flowers) returns; the source explicitly states 'If Flowers is back, Bateman is not an option.'

0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
0:05Welcome in! It's football time! New graphics! We got new stuff?
0:08I got a little nervous you weren't gonna remember to do it.
0:12Does he have to time that up? I mean, he just hits the button.
0:17Does he have the ability? Yeah, I was a little late, I'll be honest.
0:21Okay. Yeah, he wasn't happy with it. We'll lock it in.
0:25So you're breaking out the graphics for Steelers-Browns, huh?
0:27That's the first time you want to break them out?
0:31That's right. For our... Watson-Rogers. Upcoming dominant Cleveland Browns victory.
0:34Yes, Mike! Yes! I'm on that side. Browns bros!
0:37Oh man, what could go wrong? Wow. Now, is that the game we've got the money on?
0:42Yeah, we got the money on. Fantastic. You can't keep track of how much stuff you got money on.
0:48Can you? Can you? It's literally the only thing I have money on right now.
0:53Okay, fair enough. Well, we do get football tonight, and week four of this season begins, so it'll be fun.
0:59It's fun. Week four is a fun week, because after that is...
1:03You start to feel like, okay, we're getting a handle on what's going on with these defenses, who we actually have to target.
1:10I know, I've been... You also start bi-weeks next week.
1:13Hmm. Yeah. Yeah, that's interesting. Yeah, we have some fun Sunday-Monday night matchups too.
1:17Like, I think it's Lions-Carolina on Sunday night football.
1:20Oh, is that Sunday night? Yeah. Because that game is going to have approximately two bajillion points.
1:26That Sunday night, and yeah, Carolina's defense not good and more beat up.
1:30See what their quarters? Yeah. I'm excited. Are you excited?
1:33Because I have like Gibbs and Amon-Ra against you that night.
1:36Because we're playing each other. Are you excited about that?
1:39No. Okay. That part I'm not. I mean, I'm excited to watch the game.
1:44On Monday Night Football, you have... I have Tyler Shuck, Bijan, and Devon Vele.
1:48Yeah, I'm not excited about that. Yeah. But I am for the game.
1:52So that's fantasy football in a nutshell. But it should be a fun week.
1:57JoinTheFoot.com is the community, the ultimate dashboard. We announced yesterday we have in-season, or really year-round now, we have Dynasty Startup Rankings.
2:04You can drag a little slider to win now versus, you know, long-term or balanced or whatever you want to do to
2:11evaluate Dynasty trades, including the trade analyzer and stuff like that.
2:14You can check it out at JoinTheFoot.com. The website is TheFantasyFootballers.com.
2:18We're going to jump into the news. News and notes from around the league.
2:22Oh, I didn't see this. Thursday Night Football Steelers have ruled out running back Rico Dowdle.
2:27I had last seen that they were thinking he was going to be back, so it'll be all Jalen Warren tonight.
2:34Sean McVay said he expects Puka Nakua to play in week four against the Eagles.
2:38Okay. Okay. I mean, that's great news for all Puka managers, as someone who has the Higby-Ferguson combo everywhere.
2:44I'm like, oh, man. But glad he's healthy. Yeah, that does change the equation for the spot start of Mr.
2:51Higby. Yeah. He might have been dropped in many leagues this morning.
2:54Yeah, that news changes things. Jalen Waddell practicing in full despite the report of a precautionary walking boot.
3:00Mike Evans did not practice on Wednesday. The news from their general manager, John Lynch, was that he's going to do everything
3:07he can to play through everything he can because, I don't know, probably at his age he has to play through something all the time.
3:15You're telling me he's going to do everything? Not just most of the things?
3:19I think he's going to try to do everything.
3:22What a guy, Mike Evans. So let's say you're getting Puka Nakua back, right?
3:26You're one of those managers. You made accommodations for Puka Nakua.
3:30And let's just say the two wide receivers that you had in at the time were Tett McMillan and Jamison Williams, two somewhat underperforming draft picks.
3:38Who would you put Puka in over? This week, unless weather changes things later.
3:42Both are matchups are good as they play each other.
3:46Yeah, I really like Tettoroa this week so long as the weather is okay.
3:50I mean, obviously, the weather is going to be the same for both of them.
3:55So I would prefer McMillan this week. Yeah, I see a little rainy, rainy on Sunday Night Football.
4:00It should easily be McMillan. Right. But, I don't know, man.
4:04That second half was just heartening. Coker's going to be out, so it should be a lot of McMillan this week.
4:10No, we don't. We just know that Jalen Coker didn't practice Wednesday.
4:14He hasn't been ruled out yet. Correct. Yeah, I think he'll be out.
4:18Justin Jefferson considered day to day, did not practice on Wednesday.
4:22And then Jalen Coker, like you said, didn't practice on Wednesday either.
4:26But that's all we have by way of news.
4:28Not too much today. Let's jump into the starts.
4:31Starts of the week. Brought to you by Apple Card.
4:34All right, boys. I'll kick it off here at the wide receiver position, Tettoroa McMillan.
4:39Okay. I see what we're doing. That is my start.
4:42Is that really what it is? Yes. Okay. Yes, it is.
4:46You really slow played your excitement for him in the last segment.
4:50Yeah. I kind of like that guy this week.
4:52I have the lead. There's a little lead in.
4:55Look. No, but seriously, play him. Tettoroa McMillan, people are very disappointed.
4:59Had... I am very disappointed. Yeah, and I get it.
5:02But the reason you're disappointed is because he's a really good player and he's not showing it.
5:07But the utilization has still been pretty good. 23% first read target share.
5:12He's had four red zone targets, three in zone targets.
5:15Those are very valuable. Unfortunately, hasn't come down with the touchdowns.
5:18This just happens. The help is in the way of the Lions pass defense.
5:2329th in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. 29th in receptions allowed.
5:2629th in receiving yards allowed there. They are a great matchup.
5:30And Tettoroa McMillan, I think what's happened is Jalen Coker looks awesome.
5:34Yeah. And so now we have to hate Tettoroa McMillan and we don't.
5:38No, no, no. But I'm saying as a people.
5:40I don't think so. As a people, that's the vibe that I'm getting.
5:45I think I see that out there. I see like because I think maybe I think Jalen Coker is better than Tettoroa McMillan.
5:52Now people are like crapping all over like he's bad.
5:55He's not a bad wide receiver. He's all alone.
5:58It's a perfect matchup. I can't imagine not starting him again.
6:01Pay attention to the weather. It sucks that it's a Sunday night game for weather, but there is a world where maybe you would flip off of him.
6:10But if the weather is not prohibited. Currently showery overcast in miles.
6:14That's fine so far. Last I saw was like five mile an hour wind.
6:18That's fine. Dude. Big dome. If that Sunday night matchup gets ruined by weather, big dome is we're dropping the hammer on Monday.
6:25If he's going to be ruined for Jameer Gibbs, he'll be fine, Mike.
6:30Maybe. And the league leader in passing yards, Bryce Young.
6:33This is not a dome problem. This is an El Nino problem.
6:37It's a super El Nino year. You building domes just for one like 100 year event?
6:42Yeah, I am. Yeah, for sure. Super El Nino doesn't happen enough.
6:45Because in a hundred years from now, when my great grandchildren are start putting their fancy lineups in.
6:51You want them to be protected. I want them to know that great great grandpa started right here.
6:57Great great grandpa was soft. He liked a roof.
6:59He liked a roof. He liked a roof. If he liked anything.
7:03Let me guess. You have a roof on your house too?
7:07Yeah. Most of it. Soft. Soft. Soft. Josh Downs at Washington is my start of the week at wide receiver since we're starting there.
7:14He exceeded a 30% target share and 45% air yard share in each of the last two games.
7:20He was my trade for one of the trade for candidates.
7:23I was a big fan of yesterday that you brought up and like his expected fancy points in the last two games was very high.
7:31He just didn't land on the opportunity share. I think it's going to happen this week.
7:36Washington is a great matchup. Dead last and fancy points allowed to wide receivers.
7:41So when I say great matchup, I mean the greatest.
7:44His first read targets are off the chart. And it was this way last year.
7:49Where would you throw the football? It was this way last year with the Colts as well.
7:54It's like they design plays for someone. And it's like he is the one right now with Alec Pierce gone and Keenan looking bad and Pittman gone.
8:02So it's, I think Tyler Warren's awesome. Josh Downs is awesome.
8:06Yeah. I'm going with my trade target from yesterday.
8:09We're going with George Pickens. Okay. Against Houston. We got it.
8:12Like we're in week three, you know, or we're in week four.
8:16So far, Houston through the air, 30th and explosive pass play rate 30th and fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers.
8:23I mean, if we have another game of people just crushing Houston through the air that you got to start changing your
8:29opinion of should we be afraid of the Houston Texans right now?
8:33I'm not. And George, when you're talking to discrepancy between expected fantasy points and actual fantasy points, he has the second largest gap.
8:40Only Michael Wilson is underperforming. His touchdowns are on the way.
8:44Yes. Jason, where do you want to go next?
8:47We'll go to the quarterback position and all of us, Shuck, Shuck, yeah, just could unite.
8:52Tyler Shuck is out there. You're getting in. Oh, yeah.
8:55I mean, I love Tyler Shuck. I wouldn't trade him to you in our dynasty league, Mike.
9:00You tried and I said, well, you would have.
9:03I just, I wouldn't pay your price. Yeah, exactly.
9:06My price is high. Monday night football in a dome.
9:09Fantastic. Quarterback three on the season. He's looked really great.
9:12And we've talked about this a lot. The saints, the, the, the saints are so uptempo.
9:17You basically get an extra five drop backs, like an extra drive.
9:21You don't every single game. You don't understand how upset my son is with me right.
9:26Cause you dropped Tyler Shuck and Mike picked him up and Mike is playing him against you.
9:31Point number one, I have Josh Allen. Cause it was me and your boy.
9:36No, we were point number two. I drafted Tyler Shuck, but then it's like, you know, you know how it gets like,
9:43do I want a backup quarterback or do I want a shot at a better potential tradable asset?
9:48Now he would have been the best. I mean, it was just, it is funny that you, nobody wanted him for me after week one, by the way.
9:57Your team, especially that guy back there, Al Borland.
10:00Your team is like, but now I can't root for him.
10:04Cause I'm playing. I don't want him to succeed for you.
10:07The only squad that could be like Tyler Shuck is my backup.
10:11Yes. Cause he's the QB three. Correct. The only person that was amazing for you because the only person that could ever
10:18drop Tyler suck is to do with Josh Allen.
10:21And now I don't get a root for the guy.
10:24I like and drafted. We rise up. Do I get a ring?
10:27If you win the title? I'll send you a note.
10:31Okay. Anyways, it's a good start. Sam Darnold at the chart or versus the chargers.
10:35Oh boy. I talked about this. The chargers, they, they lose a tough one again and you know, force five turnovers and
10:42their reward is they go into Seattle to play a team in Seattle that lost and champions respond to losses in a different way.
10:50It's the hardest place to go play somehow. Sam Darnold in his defeat last week, three 79 and four.
10:56I mean, finishes the QB one chargers defense was carved up by Kirk cousins and Darnold at home.
11:01It just looks too juicy. Like I don't normally want to go to the Darnold level necessarily, but I think this week people have had injuries.
11:10You dropped Drake may you've, you've, I've got a league.
11:13I'm playing Sam Darnold. It makes sense to me this week.
11:16I dropped a Kyler and cause Sam Darnold was there.
11:19I'm struggling. Cause I think it was the Drake made or I don't know.
11:24It's a safe quarterback. It's a safe play. That's the funny thing.
11:28It's the safest play this week. There's nobody playing better than JSN right now.
11:32Oh my God. That's exactly why Darnold is fine because JSN is there and off the key.
11:37Did you see the number? We're like 50% of the yards again.
11:41It's ridiculous. He has the second highest fantasy points of all time through three weeks at wide receiver.
11:47And the, the number one of all time was like, I think 2000 Marvin Harrison Jr..
11:52Yeah. Not the junior. Um, but yeah, Sam Darnold's all right.
11:55I'm going Trevor Lawrence against the Cincinnati bangles. Yes.
11:58The defense has improved, but we want game environments.
12:01How about tied for the highest over into the week?
12:04We got 51 and a half, not just a 50.
12:07We have surpassed it. Uh, so it, people are looking at Trevor Lawrence where he was an awesome week.
12:13One very, very down in week two against Denver.
12:16And then he, he wasn't a top 12 guy against New England, but it was still good numbers.
12:22Don't lose the faith in Trevor Lawrence this week.
12:25All right, Jason, what about your running back? My running back?
12:28We're going tootin base. Hell tootin. A juicy one.
12:31In Cincinnati. He's, uh, the running back 13 through three weeks.
12:34He was a running back 11 last week on 17 opportunities.
12:38The, the Jacksonville offense is just cooking right now.
12:41And I really think that they have the way that they've talked about him, the way they've utilized him.
12:47I think Bayshel tootin, I've tried to trade for him in a couple of places.
12:51He looks like he's going to be the dude.
12:54The Bengals defense has gotten better. They're improved. But if you look a little deeper, they're still giving up high rates of explosive plays.
13:02And that's what tootin, you know, has, has in his wheelhouses.
13:05He ranks second among all running backs in rush success rate and first in those plays reaching 15 miles an hour, more than Gibbs.
13:13He's very explosive. So I think the matchup is okay.
13:16And I can't fathom benching Bayshel tootin. And I'm going from the waiver wire right into your starting lineup.
13:22We got Braylon Allen. It's a one week as of right now, we've seen one game with Braylon without Brees.
13:28And it was 16 opportunities. Uh, that included five targets and 81 total yards.
13:33And it's the matchup. It is juicy Chicago 29th and EPA per rush allowed.
13:37So this is an, I expect a, a heavy, heavy dose of the run game.
13:42Uh, as opposed like Gino was awesome last week.
13:44I think that this week with the jets against Chicago, they're going to be on the ground.
13:50Aaron Jones against Miami is my pick this week.
13:53Jordan Mason on reserve. Okay. Yeah. No, I'll take the old man voice for Aaron Jones.
13:58Look, he's been a high end RB two since the, uh, the move of Jordan Mason to IR the last two weeks,
14:0580% of snaps, 50% of the, uh, total rush attempts and targets Miami's 30th against running backs.
14:10It's a 10 and a half point favorite Minnesota team that should be running the ball all day.
14:16Yep. Uh, Hey, Al, you screwed it up. Cause you were like, I'm going first and I'm going with the position we don't normally start with.
14:24I'm going to go with a, that's yourself up a Nolens stack.
14:28I'm going to keep starting Juwan Johnson every week right now.
14:31He's been fantastic. Uh, you know, against the Falcons, he's a tight end four through three weeks, averaging 12.9 fantasy points per week.
14:38Uh, he's very involved. He's tied with Trey McBride for the league lead in end zone targets.
14:44Second most red zone targets. Uh, I mean, it's, it's perfect.
14:47And Atlanta's 26th in fancy points allowed to tight end.
14:50So, you know, this was one of our, you know, most targeted like late round guys week one pickup right now.
14:57It looks like he's a weekly start. Maybe that changes when Jordan Tyson, you know, gets off of IR, which could be
15:04as soon as this week, but he's, he's on IR right now or as soon as next week.
15:09So yeah, keep starting Juwan Johnson and I'm going with Tyler Warren.
15:13Uh, Josh Downs is a great play, but I think Tyler Warren is as well.
15:18We're going to attack Washington throughout the entirety of the season.
15:21And you know, even though week one felt not great, he is the only tight ends with eight and a half fantasy
15:28points in each of the three weeks, McBride, Kelsey, Juwanson and Tyler Warren.
15:32It's been, it's been quietly. Okay. And Washington is 31st in schedule.
15:36Just the points to the position there. You'll be playing tight ends, tight ends against them all year.
15:42All right. I'm going with. Oh, okay. Uh, we got to get also, you got to get that Jersey updated.
15:48Uh, Darren Waller against Detroit on Sunday night, annual update of Darren Waller's Jersey.
15:53That's right. I mean, he can probably just do like a huge change on that.
15:57I think that's what we did last time to get it from Miami.
16:01Miami to the Carolina blue. I think we can pull that off.
16:05Uh, the snap shares they're going up. Yeah. I mean, Darren Waller, Detroit.
16:09We talked about it Sunday night game high over under Jalen Coker could be out.
16:14You know, the, the snaps were up at 51% last week.
16:17Red zone target lions have been bleeding points to the tight end position.
16:21Listen to the saints tight ends. Two of them in week one bills, tight ends, two of them in week two touchdowns,
16:28jets, tight ends, two touchdowns last week. I mean, two a week.
16:32I'm having a real problem here because I, I think the breakout is coming for Tucker craft at some point.
16:38It is, but I'm sitting here staring down Darren Waller versus Tucker craft this week and having a harder time by the
16:45minute deciding about what I want to do with that decision.
16:49So I think Waller is going to be, especially if you know, Detroit's putting points up.
16:54I mean, Coker is out. Yeah. I don't know how you wouldn't play.
16:58I know the Walrus there. I know. I, uh, plus I feel like if I did that and bench Tucker craft, I
17:05could force the breakout cause it would definitely happen.
17:08I would be under my control, but, uh, there you go.
17:11That was starts of the week brought to you by Apple card.
17:15Apply in the wallet app on your iPhone today.
17:18Subject to credit approval. Apple card issued by Goldman Sachs bank, USA, Salt Lake city branch terms, and more at apple card.com.
17:25We're taking a break and then we'll jump into the forecast.
17:28Let's do it. Fantasy forecast presented by price picks.
17:31All right. We have a London game guys. You ready to get up at six 30?
17:36You want to watch a little early football, Mike?
17:39Not really. Yeah. The Colts at one and two take on the commanders even less now one and two.
17:45Uh, there's going to be fancy goodness in this one.
17:48Yeah. Indy minus three and a half over under 47 and a half.
17:52That's a nice number. Not bad. And a couple of teams that I don't know.
17:57I don't know about either one of them, to be honest.
18:00You know, you said through three weeks, we get an idea of who the team is.
18:05Who these teams are. I mean, what, what are your thoughts?
18:09I mean, Daniel Jones so far, I don't know that I've been in love with what I've seen so far from Daniel Jones.
18:16No, so far. Daniel Jones is looking. It was Baltimore, Kansas City, Houston.
18:20So you can say that's, that's a gauntlet. I wouldn't, I don't think he's looked terrible, but it's not unlike when he
18:27had a great year for the giants and got the extension and then he turned into a pumpkin and then he was playing great last year.
18:35And I mean, the Kelly's injury is not a joke.
18:38No, he is a mobile quarterback. That was one of his superpowers, nine fantasy points, 11 fantasy points in seven.
18:45Um, considering we have two Colts receivers that are starts of the week, you know, pass catchers in Warren and downs.
18:51The fact that Daniel Jones can't surpass 12 fantasy points, not helpful.
18:55So I hope we can get it done. The matchup is great.
18:59I just think these are two teams that I've been like, I expected the Colts to look a little better than they have.
19:06And I expected the commanders honestly, to look worse than they have.
19:10And here we are. So Mariota last week, it was awesome.
19:1320 fancy points through for three touchdowns can definitely streaming.
19:16Yeah. I think this week you can Jonathan Taylor.
19:19Of course you're playing him and we've talked about dams and Warren.
19:23So it's flipping to the other side. Well, I know you can play Keenan too.
19:28Can you? Yes. He's going to, but do you want to not necessarily, but I mean, yeah, he had nine targets last week.
19:35I think Mike's right. You can again. Yeah. Well, Andy scored last week.
19:39Yeah. We like the other guys more. I'm just saying in, in certain, like if you're in a 14 team or then
19:46Keenan Allen feels like about a good of a flex start as you'll get on the running back room for the command Sanders, Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt last week.
19:55If you, if you watch the game. So he, he had 19 attempts on the ground that equated to 36 yards.
20:01That's 1.9 a carry. That part was bad. The, the part that was good is he had a 50 plus yard touchdown
20:08run called back on an irrelevant, irrelevant, illegal formation that had nothing to do with the play.
20:13So he did make a big play that didn't count.
20:17He was almost my start of the week. I was between, uh, Basial Tootin and Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt.
20:22And Bill? Yeah. And Bill? Huh? I don't have it anymore.
20:25Oh, you don't have it. Come on. Uh, but yeah, I mean, he's getting the opportunity.
20:30There. That's fine. Yeah. But 20 opportunities last week.
20:33And that was, that was against Seattle. Seattle's a very difficult team to run the ball on.
20:39And so you don't expect them to be great.
20:41It's not like there are other options were great and Bill was bad.
20:46Now you have Rashad White, um, dealing with an injury.
20:49I don't know if he's going to play this week.
20:52They go out and sign, uh, Austin Eckler. He's back.
20:55Which leads me to believe maybe Rashad White's shoulder is, is more serious.
20:59I think Bill gets a lot of work in this game and against the Colts, you're, you're fine.
21:05I mean, that's, that's a great matchup. I agree.
21:08Bounce back week for McLaurin last week. Uh, almost did it two weeks ago when Jason made him a start of the week.
21:15He just had a couple of almost touchdowns last week.
21:18He got into the end zone, had nine more targets.
21:21The last two weeks have been great with the target share and six catches, 77 yards.
21:26I'd certainly prefer him over like digs or anybody else in that passing offense.
21:31The hard part for digs is this is actually very juicy, um, in terms of, uh, cause he's playing the slot.
21:37You know what I'm almost 60% of the time.
21:40And the Colts are to my numbers, the second most vulnerable team against the slot wide receiver, but the Mariota factor makes
21:47it a hard, more difficult to trust. But digs should be great in this matchup.
21:52Yeah. We haven't seen the, uh, you know, the snap count rise to a level where we'd be, you know, all about Antonio Williams.
21:59So I think that's kind of cooled off. Yeah.
22:02Yeah. He feels like a, an injury or next year injury away or a next year play.
22:07The new England Patriots, uh, back in the United States here, they're wanting to, they take on the three, you know, Buffalo bills.
22:15So, um, you've had a hard start head to Buffalo.
22:18Good luck with that. Man, the highest implied point total on the week is the Buffalo 27.5.
22:23This game is Buffalo minus six and a half over under 48 and a half.
22:28You know, I, I think the most difficult thing to get your confidence back is to travel to your division rivals home
22:35field and face, you know, Josh Allen, who is going to put points up.
22:39It's going to put you in a position to do everything that like, if I wanted to help Drake may, I don't
22:46want to run the football and be efficient and then play good defense and then let them win the game in, you
22:53know, by not having to do everything. And this is a game where at some point it's likely Drake may has to
23:00try to put the team on his shoulders and do more.
23:03It's just a shaky situation. And, you know, how do you, Andy, how do you feel about the 21 points implied for the Patriots?
23:11Like feels high. They can, they get to 21.
23:14Well, I think this is just all based on how atrocious the bills defense has been.
23:19I mean, the bills last week, they did win the game, but I mean, on the year 24th against running or quarterbacks,
23:2629th against running backs, 28th against white. I am a little surprised at that.
23:30But, you know, I think part of the problem is, is when we're like, like, just tell me the story of the Patriots scoring points.
23:38That's what I mean. You don't know who any main characters are in this book.
23:43Like there are none. Travion Henderson rips off a long touchdown.
23:46The end? It's somewhere. The end of the story?
23:49Yes. Oh, that's the story. That's the only three times to get to 21 points?
23:54Oh, man. I don't know. Is there a pass interference penalty near the end zone that Ramondre can take advantage of?
24:00It really does feel difficult to see them scoring.
24:03They've just been in an apt offense. How do we not have like a 10 target game for Romeo Dobbs who you paid all this money to?
24:12We haven't had that at all. It's weird. You've got Mack Hollins leading the team in target share.
24:17You've got a tandem of running backs that makes the other, each makes the other irrelevant, sort of.
24:23If I had to start one, I'd still start Ramondre.
24:26I have them back-to-back in my rankings. But I mean, I don't care if you want to go the other way.
24:33Yeah. And I think it's really a matter of like, if you're the underdog in a matchup.
24:38Who would rather score six points for you? If you're the underdog in a matchup, throw Travion Henderson out there for the
24:45idea that he gets a big blow-up game. The more likely leader in fantasy points is Ramondre, but probably without a very high ceiling.
24:53So I don't love playing either. The matchup is great.
24:56The over-under is good. Do you start a Patriot?
24:59I think in most leagues, you're going to have Ramondre or Travion Henderson on rosters where you're going to start them, yes.
25:05It's not like they are shoe-in top 15 running backs by any means.
25:10But in today's NFL, you're probably needing to start them.
25:13Josh Allen James. Oh, here's a good question. Patriots running back or Ollie Gordon?
25:17I mean, I'd play Ollie Gordon. I would play.
25:20For the chance that something like 20 carries. I mean, we don't know if Jalen Wright's going to play this week for Miami.
25:27So there's just no world I wouldn't try Gordon now.
25:30I would go with the Patriots. I would go with both Patriots.
25:34Both of them? Yeah. Yeah, well, you guys are like, I've picked up on that.
25:39I mean, we talk about like how are the Patriots going to score 20 points, but against Minnesota.
25:44Yeah. How are the Dolphins going to score three?
25:47Okay, strong point. I kind of put the Minnesota part out of my mind for a second and was just focusing on workload.
25:55But yeah, I was going to accuse you guys of being anti-Ollie, but I think you're pro-Vikings.
26:00That is correct. James Cook and Allen, of course, you play them.
26:04Dalton Kincaid, get him back out there. See if we...
26:07It will be a bit of a... Like you want to preview a potential storyline for next week?
26:12A disappointing Kincaid game? Yeah. We'll put you in the position of saying, same old, same old, or, you know, I feel like it's an important one.
26:21This is a very tough matchup. I mean, the New England against tight ends is...
26:26Number one. Yeah, they're number one. They don't give up a lot of points against tight ends.
26:314.5 points per game on average, so... Which they've played...
26:34I mean, they've played some tough teams, right? I mean, they are like some tough tight ends.
26:40They stopped Kelsey, right? That was one of their games?
26:43Am I misremembering their schedule? Baltimore? Yeah, you are misremembering.
26:46You had Seattle, Pittsburgh, and Jacksonville. Oh, I'm sorry.
26:49Yeah, yeah. I think I was a matchup before.
26:51So, they... Those are not any big tight ends that they faced.
26:55The prize picks projection for Dalton Kincaid's at 53.5 receiving yards...
26:59Oh. That's not bad. That's only ahead of him is Bowers McBride-Kelsey.
27:03So... Because he's a big play guy. Yeah, the projections are still there.
27:07With confidence, even if... Would you play Waller or Kincaid?
27:10Oh, man. If you have the decision. Oh, my gosh.
27:13It co-curs out. That's such a firestorm of a perfect situation for Darren Waller that...
27:18I think I'm still going to play Kincaid, but I understand that.
27:21What do you guys think about DJ Moore as a trade-for candidate?
27:25I like that. He's been very, very involved. Yeah.
27:28And he got hurt. Ten targets. I believe that he is going to be there.
27:33Like, if we do... I'm sure we will soon do like a redraft.
27:37We usually do early in the year where we draft people over.
27:41I doubt we get to where DJ Moore would go, but he would be significantly higher to me.
27:46The way he has looked this year, the involvement in the offense, I am fully bought in that DJ Moore will be
27:53the primary wide receiver for a great team. And I think at the end of the year, you could look back and
28:00say, this is like a top ten wide receiver.
28:03That's really bullish. And it feels weird because last...
28:06We had the injury game where he hurt his shoulder and went out with a negative...
28:11I believe he had... Yes. He's getting negative 0.1 fantasy points.
28:14And so that's going to really... It's going to bring down your total average.
28:19It's going to bring down the manager's feelings about them.
28:22But he comes back with the injured shoulder, gets ten targets.
28:25I really like DJ Moore. I'm going to be extra transparent here to my own detriment, but I want to have the
28:32discussion because I think it benefits the listenership. So I've really had the long thought process, and maybe this is just my
28:39own problem because I can't just stay pat with a great team.
28:43But I've had the thought process of like, is...
28:46And we didn't bring him up on the tradeaway candidate yesterday.
28:49But Devontae Adams is having the best three-game start of his career.
28:53He's an older wide receiver. He is a compelling...
28:56Like, if you're offering him around, that's a compelling...
28:59Sure. ...player. And I've had the thought about how do I view...
29:02How do I view DJ Moore? I hate this so much.
29:06Why do you hate this? I hate this because what you're saying is that you're considering trying to offer Devontae Adams for DJ Moore...
29:13And something else. And plus? Yeah, he would have to.
29:17He'd be worth plus. For that move where the market is right now, Devontae Adams is worth more.
29:22I mean... I've had the thought. And then, you know, I have Josh Allen.
29:27Yeah. You know the math on that. And it's like...
29:30It's really... It's always going... No matter how... Like, if you think we're smart, if you think we're dumb, whatever.
29:36No matter who you are. You can have it in your mind that you're going to trade a player that's...
29:42That's like a great tradeaway candidate. But if they've played three amazing games in a row...
29:47I don't think there's a soul out there that doesn't feel like, what if it keeps going?
29:53Like, Adams has been that good. What if Puka has surgery?
29:56All these things go on your head. Yeah, what if he goes out and plays this week and then it's re-aggravated?
30:03And... I mean, that's a humongous deal. So, it has crossed my mind.
30:07Like, those two players. I feel like DJ Moore is a trade four candidate.
30:11I feel like Devontae Adams is probably... He's probably going to maintain value throughout the year, but he's probably not going to
30:18be what he is right this moment. No. Not what he is right now, where he's...
30:23I mean... I mean, Devontae Adams... Let me see where he is on the year.
30:28He's the wide receiver six. He's been... I mean...
30:31Insanely good. Yeah, 195, 137 yards these last two games.
30:34I don't mind the thought process. But I do...
30:37I think Adams is more valuable at the end of the year.
30:41That... I mean that... And DJ Moore. Yeah, and DJ Moore has dealt with the injury already, and there's some concerns about...
30:48You know, Josh Allen hasn't needed a go-to guy since the Diggs years.
30:52So... Sorry for the detour there. No, no. That's fine.
30:55I mean, whatever you do, I just hope it's the wrong decision.
30:59It could be. Yeah. And it's worth remembering, you know...
31:02That I've made wrong decisions lots of times. No.
31:04Last year, Devontae Adams was the wide receiver eight, and Puka played.
31:08Yeah. No. It's not like Puka... Puka coming back destroys...
31:11I can't tell if he's trying to talk me out of trying to pursue this.
31:16Puka coming back... That's where I'm with it. Absolutely destroys the Terrence Ferguson, Tyler Higbee...
31:21But not Adams. But not Adams. No, not Adams.
31:24There's two valuable pieces for the Rams. And one thing to remember is Puka's return, the reason he didn't play is he said his explosiveness wasn't there.
31:32So we still need... When he plays, we still need to know that he's 100% Puka, right?
31:38You don't want half Puka. Am I right? I would take half Puka.
31:42Yeah, that would be pretty good. I would score most wide receivers.
31:45The New York Jets in our next matchup at one and two, taking on the Chicago Bears with the big Monday night victory, making Philly look silly.
31:54Uh, the Vegas line, Chicago minus three and a half over under 43 and a half.
31:59You know, I, the Jets have been a competent team this year, which is great because competence at quarterback means relevance for Garrett Wilson.
32:06Maybe Kenyon Sadiq continues in a sense. He was limited in practice with a back injury, which I would guess happened when
32:13he laid out and looked in pain at the end of that catch.
32:18But the Bears, Case Keenum, we think it'll be Case Keenum?
32:21Think so. Caleb Williams was getting, you know, getting better every day.
32:25They have said they know who the quarterback is.
32:28I, can I just... But they won't tell. I was a little confused because I saw all the, like, the locker room stuff with Case Keenum.
32:36Oh, his little, what, the speech? The game ball speech?
32:39With the speech, which was awesome. The speech was great.
32:42But then, like, Caleb didn't play, right? Are you talking about the robe?
32:46The robe. But he clearly did a little post-game shower.
32:49He's in the robe. Well, you could, just because you're not playing, I mean, you might get a little dewy.
32:56Okay. Okay. Just thought it was weird, and it was a really nice robe.
33:00I don't feel like we all got that robe.
33:03You think it's weird that a guy's like, hey, you know what I could be wearing right now?
33:08No, the robe. A luxurious spa quality robe? You got to go take shower time from the guys that play.
33:15Let me ask this question. I think there's enough showers for everybody at a professional facility.
33:20They're not sharing one leaky bucket. This is the question.
33:23Was he in pads? No. So he was just in normal, regular clothes at a game and then was like, that is weird.
33:30I'm going to go change it to a robe.
33:33It's weird, but also, it's a robe, Jason. I mean, we all want to wear robes.
33:38I wear a robe every morning. It's a great life.
33:41We all want to wear. Okay. I'm not going to dunk on a guy for wanting to wear a luxurious robe.
33:48Okay. All right. Start, sit decisions. Mike, you brought up Braylon Allen.
33:52Yep. His prize picks projections at 70.5 Russian receiving yards.
33:55That's awesome. Yeah, we will take that. That is.
33:58We do have. So I'm very bullish for this week in particular.
34:01We have popular start, sit questions. Related to Allen?
34:04That are funny. Get that nasty button ready. I'll go to you, Jason.
34:08Braylon Allen or. Hold on. Spotlight. Or Omari and Hampton.
34:11Omari and Hampton. That's the wrong answer. But, like, they're playing Seattle, right?
34:16Yeah. At Seattle. You're going to play Hampton. They just had 1.9 a carry for JCM.
34:21For the guy that's getting half the snaps of JCM.
34:24Yeah. I will absolutely still start Omari and Hampton in that situation.
34:27Okay. How about. Clip that. We're just going to keep the spotlight the whole time?
34:32No. It's any Hampton we need to have. Okay.
34:35And then Judkins. I would play Braylon Allen. Okay.
34:38Yeah. That one's easy for me. DeAndre Swift. You know, it's been a great start to the season.
34:44You have to play him on the other side.
34:46We'll see when Brees Hall comes back or if you get Braylon Allen for more than one week.
34:52I'm avoiding the toughest part of this entire matchup right now.
34:55Garrett Wilson. Play him. How do you feel about Sadiq?
34:59Like after last week's breakout. Do you. Like where is he in your weekly rankings relative to the Dalton Schultzes of the world and things like that?
35:07Let me go have a peek. Seven for 105 and a touchdown last week with a 43-yard catch.
35:13Yeah. I mean, I've got Sadiq right now. You've got all the tight ends right now, but go on.
35:19No. I don't mean on my roster. I mean, in my weekly rankings, he's at tight end 11.
35:24I'm at 13. Yeah. It's like, you know, you can start him.
35:28The Bears are usually a little bit more of a pass funnel team.
35:32Not that they're weak against tight ends, but I think that the way that they're using Sadiq is a little bit more like a wide receiver.
35:40So it'll be interesting. I think you can throw him out there and start him.
35:45You know, his numbers have gone up. His utilization, his involvement is a player who missed, you know, pretty much camp and preseason with with injury.
35:53So getting him involved, I think, will be a progression.
35:57And we've already kind of seen it. And it's been forced with some of the injuries around him.
36:02Um, uh, my, the latest I saw, I don't, I don't expect Adonai Mitchell to be there yet.
36:08Omar, uh, Cooper Jr. is on IR. So, yeah, I mean, I think, I think Kenyon Sadiq is probably the wide receiver too for this team right now.
36:17What do you do with the pass catchers? So I was a burden.
36:21Like assuming it's case Keenum, he hyper-targeted Luther Burton.
36:24I'm going to play him with confidence. After that, the confidence goes away.
36:28Can we get the spotlight for Mike here with the Loveland decisions?
36:31Okay, give me some questions. Go ahead. Yeah. So Mr.
36:35Loveland. Mr. Loveland. How about Kenyon Sadiq or Loveland?
36:37That is so dirty. Dirty. Oh, that's such a good question.
36:41My rankings have Kenyon Sadiq ahead. Harold Fannin Jr.
36:44after nine targets. Benz or Colston Loveland? Fannin. Why is Loveland doing so much cardio and not getting enough?
36:50I don't know. Getting enough action. I don't know.
36:53He's got 84% of snaps, 78% of routes. I don't know.
36:56Benzins. I mean, you can get him real cheap right now if you believe in the long-term return to relevance, which you don't.
37:03No. Well. Or you're scared. I'm scared. Yes. It's definitely worth some.
37:07There's going to be some squads where you want to take the chance that he bounces back.
37:12I still feel like there's no world where he doesn't have monster games coming up.
37:17Would you rather have Waller or him the rest of the season?
37:21Loveland. You'd be Loveland, right? Yeah, I would definitely be Loveland.
37:24I think that Loveland will still for sure have big, massive, weak-winning games.
37:28The one thing I am far more skeptical on now is that he will have the consistency that you hoped for as
37:35a number one target for the team. Yeah, that part is.
37:39And you don't get quite the answers you want even waiting weeks right now because Caleb's not there.
37:44Yeah. So you just said you're playing Burden because Keenum proved he could hyper-target him.
37:49We didn't see enough this year, I think. Khalif Raymond?
37:52If you play him, you will die. He will outscore Loveland.
37:56Everyone loves Raymond. Hmm. Raymond. Raymond. All right, we'll take a break.
38:00We'll come back with some more matchups. That's a good Brad Garrett, Mike.
38:04That's very good. Jacksonville, 2-1, taking on the 2-1 Bengals.
38:07This is fun. I mean, these are two very good teams, and one of them is going to be .500 after this.
38:14Plus, two pretty ferocious cats, if you... I mean, Kyle has given us the cat stats.
38:19Oh, let's have them. Cat stats? A cat fight?
38:22So, in terms of size, it's clearly the Bengal.
38:24The Bengal Tiger's got to be bigger. By a lot.
38:28By a lot. Up to 350 pounds for a Jaguar, 700 pounds for a Bengal.
38:32The bite force, which I have not researched these numbers.
38:35This is purely on Kyle. Underrated stat. He's... Cat stat.
38:39Sure. The Bengal's got the size, but the Jaguar's got the bite force.
38:431,500 PSI on the bite? Well, let's talk speed.
38:46Compared to 1050? Let's talk speed. You got a Bengal can only get up to about 40 miles per hour.
38:52Oh, slow poke. Only. While a Jaguar's up to 50.
38:55Catch me if you can. Can't. Thank you. So, who wins in a fight?
38:59The Tiger. The Bengal. Yeah. We tried to make it compelling, but the Bengal would win.
39:04Wow. There you go. My goodness. Trevor Lawrence, your start of the week.
39:08Bachelot Toot and Jason, your start of the week.
39:11Yeah, we won in on this game. And Parker Washington, your start of every week.
39:16Play him for Jacksonville. Oh, man. The Brian Thomas Jr., Michael...
39:19Or Marvin Harrison Jr. Like, if you are a rookie from three years ago with a junior in your name, you're going
39:26to be talked about at the trade deadline this year because there's more rumors about BTJ.
39:31We had rumors about him going to San Francisco last year.
39:35They have reemerged. San Francisco has a potential destination, which if you want to say, hey, how do you save your career?
39:42You can go to San Francisco. Yeah, get a good injury severance.
39:46I know. That's true. Jacoby Myers is a flexible player this week.
39:49And then, you know, the nice thing about the Cincinnati Bengals, it's really easy each week.
39:54Joe Burrow, Chase Brown, Jamar Chase, Tee Higgins, and log out, right?
39:58I mean, there's no team ever easier than the Bengals.
40:01You have to start all of them every week.
40:04I mean, it's kind of like Dallas. They're very similar.
40:07I mean, you've got play Pickens, play Seedy, play Javante.
40:10Would you rather play Jacoby Myers or Keenan Allen?
40:13Jacoby. I want this game environment. I want a 51.5 point over under two great offenses and the chance for 70 points to be scored in a game.
40:22Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, keep an eye on...
40:25And you don't have to wake up at 6.30 in the morning to watch.
40:30Yeah. Well, there are people, Jason, that don't have to wake up at 6.30 in the morning to watch it.
40:36Lucky. It's our job. But then they have to stay up until midnight for Sunday football.
40:41And when we get done with our job, no matter how hard it is, we take a shower.
40:47No matter how easy. When my contractors get done working on my house, I take a shower.
40:52Yes. Perfect. I believe we're so focused on a man that just wants to be clean.
40:57How clean? Clean and comfy. You don't want to be clean and comfy?
41:01It is weird, man. I earned that shower. What?
41:04What? I don't understand the... I don't know. I'm just having fun with it.
41:08Get healthy, Caleb. Yeah. Come back and score 59 points.
41:12He's working on his health. His health and his wellness.
41:15He's staying zen in his robe. Yeah. And he can give him all the guff.
41:19He's one of his three. My guys obviously loves Caleb.
41:23Yeah. Yeah. So I'm allowed a license to... Absolutely.
41:25Make fun of him. All right. The Cardinals 1-2 taking on the 2-1 New York Giants.
41:30Arizona favored on the road by 2.5. That is your...
41:34What? If you want to check in on the Jameis Winston meter...
41:37I didn't know that until just now. That's crazy.
41:40The over-under is 44 and a half. But... I have...
41:43That's why you traded for McCarthy. I have gone so back and forth on this one.
41:48And been thoroughly convinced that both teams are going to figure out how to lose.
41:53But it's like... Both of their defenses are not great right now.
41:57The Giants lost one of their superstars in Brian Burns.
42:00But the Cardinals can't get pressure. And if you can't get pressure on Jameis, he will figure it out.
42:06Like, he's not that incompetent that if there's no pass rush coming, he will find Malik Nabors.
42:11But the Card... You're like, well, but the Cardinals offense with Jacoby.
42:15How do they not outscore the Giants? It's a crazy game.
42:19I mean, 44 and a half is not a lot.
42:22Jeremiah Love is going to be the story of this game.
42:25I mean, he should get pretty much all of the work like he did last week.
42:30They talked about it. They said it was just a hot hand.
42:34But his hand is going to be on fire here.
42:37The matchup is great. And the fact that you lost Brian Burns, your defense is beat up.
42:42That's usually where you beat the Giants is on the ground.
42:46I think that Jeremiah Love, you know, he could be the running back five on the week easy.
42:52Yeah, I think this is a very significant Vegas line to tell you the story of this game.
42:57Like, Winston is statistically the worst quarterback in EPA per play in the league so far.
43:02So it does not give me any confidence. Statistically and visually.
43:06Visually speaking, he's the worst. And, you know, for the team to go trade for McCarthy, who is not exactly headline making talent.
43:13Right. So so far. But that gives me I like have no confidence in anybody but scat on the Detroit on the New York side.
43:21Yeah. I mean, the scataboo start should be good.
43:24They're going to give him a billion opportunities. So how far down are you with Malik?
43:29Malik or Terry McLaurin? Let me let me see.
43:32I think it's Terry. No, it is definitely Terry, actually.
43:35I think it's Malik here. Last week was, you know, that crazy weather game.
43:39What he had, like 30 yards, but five targets.
43:42The Arizona Cardinals coming to town, I think, will be a salve for Malik.
43:46And I expect Malik to have 10 targets. And if you give Malik 10 targets and you're not in some kind of
43:53crazy stormy game against the Cardinals, there's a good chance that he has a big play.
43:58Are you positive that he's the same guy right now?
44:01When, you know, there was an expectation even of Jackson Dart was here that the beginning part of this season would start slower.
44:09Would be slow. I always thought that the beginning part of the season, I mean, this is the normal ramp up that
44:16is usual for coming off of an ACL. You know, we said when you drafted him that it would be a slow start.
44:23Like you said, even with Jackson Dart, I think the Cardinals defense is just the difference here.
44:28Will they be able to tackle him? I mean, their number one corner, Will Johnson, is gone now.
44:34So who's guarding him? Maybe Buda Baker can try to break his ribs like he did Mike Evans.
44:40But take it easy. He also missed an easy tackle on Debo and let him score 80-yard touchdown, to your point about, you know, a big play.
44:48But, yeah, I don't personally, like, I have neighbors quite a ways down the list.
44:53Like, I'd play Josh Downs my start of the week over Malik neighbors.
44:57He's still in my top 24. I'd play Bird and I'd play Golden.
45:01And here's the most interesting one. He's at 25 for me, Mike.
45:05Here's the most. He's at 22 for me. So we're not too far apart.
45:09But the most interesting one is on the other side of the field.
45:13Michael Wilson. Oh, easy Michael Wilson. Coming off of 17 targets.
45:17Yeah, easy Michael Wilson. I mean, the Cardinals are favored in this one.
45:21They have the better quarterback by a wide margin.
45:24I mean, I'm taking the quarterback. I don't trust Jameis at all right now.
45:28Yeah. I think he's going to be okay. He seems like he's not taking football very seriously.
45:33I think he'll be okay in this game. He's so ready to be a broadcaster.
45:38He's going to be an awesome commentator or broadcaster.
45:41Wherever he's talking, I'll be watching. He's got to be the sideline dude.
45:45Oh, yes. I don't think you can trust him to talk for the entire game.
45:50I think you need him to have his select moments.
45:53The sideline, the pregame, the postgame. I think he could be a color commentator.
45:57Oh, man. No, that's too much. No way too much.
46:00What about what Booger did? That was sideline. Oh, yeah.
46:04He rode the Booger Mobile. That's right. He didn't get a Winston Mobile.
46:08That's fine. He was actually the color commentator. And then we were like, we got to get this out of the booth.
46:15Yeah. And then they put him in the Booger Mobile.
46:18And we're like, we got to get him out of this Booger Mobile.
46:22Get back to college, Booger. There is nothing wrong with having a role to play.
46:27And I think Winston's role in the media will be amazing for the next 20 years.
46:32But it seems like we have a difference of opinion, though.
46:35I very much believe Arizona wins this football game.
46:38I saw. And I believe their offense is much better than the Giants in this game.
46:43I saw a stat. I don't have it in front of me.
46:47Don't know where it came from. Don't know the specific stat.
46:50Oh, my God. I don't even know the stat.
46:53The stat itself is actually a mystery to me.
46:56But it was. Someone find that. It was first read.
46:59It was first read targets for Michael Wilson. What could I be thinking?
47:03For Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr. And they were shockingly.
47:06I could probably find that. It was shockingly close.
47:09For career? No, no, no. I think it was last week only.
47:13And you look at 17 targets for Michael Wilson.
47:16So it was like, first read. They looked. So he looked at Marvin.
47:20He was like, nope. Like an active no. Yeah.
47:23It's like, we're trying, man. You're not. Does he just kind of giggle when he looks over?
47:28And he's like, oh. I think it might just be.
47:31Catch you again, Marvin. I think it might be a fake from the get-go.
47:36It's like, it's really just to make defenders go, I'm totally looking at this side of the field.
47:41Sike! Michael Wilson. First read target share? No. No.
47:44The stat that you didn't know where it came from or where it's gone.
47:49Is this the whole? This was, it looks like last week.
47:52Yeah. I thought that's what he was talking about.
47:55That is what I was talking about. Yeah. 45% for Michael Wilson.
47:59That you didn't know is not our doubt. You didn't know where it came from, where it was from.
48:05It would have been fun. Or it was true.
48:08It would have been super fun. Here's a stat I made up.
48:11But think about how fun that is. If it was real.
48:15I'm going to find what I was looking at.
48:18Oh my gosh. Well, we have the facts. Please do.
48:21Because the numbers that we have is 45. Oh, I know.
48:24But I want to know. 45% Michael Wilson. 18% Tray McBride.
48:2815% Marvin Harrison. I will say this. Did you get hit by one of those satire accounts again?
48:33We'll find out. We'll find out. I did disagree with one thing you said yesterday about Michael Wilson, which was like this
48:40contention that he's never going to be the first receiving target for Arizona.
48:44I think that there's a place where Michael Wilson and Tray McBride really share that at the tippy top of the team's depth chart.
48:52And I found it. But Michael Wilson, like the targets last week told me he could be a number one target.
48:59Yeah, for sure. I found what I was looking at.
49:02And it was not a it was a very great account from Jared Smola.
49:06This is why when I said I don't remember what I say.
49:10I prefaced it properly because I was letting everybody know I don't know what I'm about to talk about.
49:16Yeah, yeah. Well, no, because we got to the truth here.
49:19That's what we do. Right. The winding road. It was a real close first read targets between Michael Wilson and Tray McBride.
49:26Oh, Martin. Martin Harrison was down to nine percent.
49:29So it's basically like, yeah, the offense is not right.
49:32They do not care about getting Marvin Harrison. Gotcha.
49:35But yeah, I think I think Wilson is a definitively like great start every week.
49:40And obviously you play McBride and a very good wide receiver.
49:43Parker and he's very Parker Washington. It turns out that, you know, we when you're good, the good, the fancy time machine
49:50where we had who's this year's Michael Wilson is Parker.
49:53No, it's Michael Wilson. Oh, yeah. That that often happens.
49:56I'm like, who is the JSN? Yeah, we just don't because I couldn't believe that Jason could have a more perfect season the last year.
50:04It just it was not statistically right. An outcome that could ever happen.
50:08And he's like, yes, I can. Yes, actually, I can.
50:12I like somebody who was saying that this year's JSN is Brock Bowers.
50:16And I'm like, I based on what I saw in that game, you might be right.
50:21Like Brock Bowers. I played against him last week.
50:23I was terrified on every play and every play is open and there's no way to cover him.
50:29That's it's a it's a cheat code. It was the old Kelsey games where you're like, you know, they're going to throw the ball to Travis Kelsey.
50:38Why is no one guarding him? You can't guard a tight end.
50:41That's that like that. That's the truth. Who guards him?
50:45Buda Baker. You bring the safety down to guard.
50:47It's just so a linebacker can't guard him because you don't line up.
50:51You don't line up a corner against him because they're too small.
50:55Like anecdotally, maybe it's not true. But what I was seeing of like the it's like short stuff where he's kind of leaking out a little bit later.
51:04And then it's genuinely like, oh, he did it again.
51:07It's not possible. Not Brock. You can't do that again.
51:10We're not going to. And then the next play slow.
51:14Just leak out. Turn around. And it's funny because I've never.
51:17No one's guarding him. I mean, when have you ever had a.
51:21You've had these lockdown corners. You know, Patrick Sertan goes up against somebody.
51:25They get one catch. When have you had one of the elite of the elite tight ends go into a game and
51:32then it's like we just shut him down. I can't remember.
51:35Kelsey never got shut down. Not in his day.
51:38Not in his day. Yeah. And McBride never gets shut down.
51:42They just. They're too big. Oh, that McBride. Oh, the face mask.
51:45It wasn't a stiff arm. It was a spike.
51:48It was. He football spiked a human. Yeah. It was awesome.
51:52It was amazing. All right. We got to move on.
51:55The Rams one and two taking on the two and one Eagles.
51:59Vegas line here. Rams minus three on the road.
52:01So, again, that is going on the road to Philly and being favored is the one and two team.
52:07Not common. Favored on the road by three. Yeah.
52:10The Eagles wins this year. Commanders tightens. So we're not proud of that yet.
52:15Over under 43 and a half. Very low. I mean, if you watch the Eagles defense last or offense last week and
52:21then you said, OK, let's go ahead and upgrade the defense you're playing against and now go score.
52:27What is the I mean, how does that happen?
52:30They're going to need to run the ball more, which I don't know why they got away from it.
52:36It was working with Saquon last week and then they put the ball in Jalen Hurts's hands and he's just not.
52:43He has looked really. Simple, really unspecial. He he's targeting Devontae Smith too much.
52:47And I love Devontae Smith. I've got the Hurts Devontae Smith stack.
52:51But when I go back and I watch film on this team, it is just like there are wide open players.
52:57You know, we've talked about Makai Lemon is getting wide.
53:01Not like, oh, he's got to step on a guy you could have thrown on the ball.
53:06It's like, did you not see the dude that no one was guarding?
53:10And then you threw to Devontae Smith and double coverage.
53:13And I don't know, man, it's like he's not he's not.
53:17It's got to make A.J. Brown so mad. Like because he just wanted you to throw him the ball in triple coverage over and over again.
53:25I'm still hopeful that they figure this out specifically with Makai Lemon, a rookie first round talent, first round pick who, you
53:32know, should get more involved, should get more, you know, connection with Jalen Hurts as time goes on.
53:37It's not going to be in this game. Imagine anything good for the Eagles offense against the Rams defense.
53:43Players like Makai Lemon are the very hardest players in fantasy to just keep holding on your team because you kind of
53:50when they're not producing yet, you just want to rotate through the young guys that have a good week.
53:56You know what I mean? It's like Ted Hirsch is getting 75 percent of snaps.
54:01Well, maybe it would be his week and then maybe it'll be Antonio Williams.
54:05And then maybe it'll be this rookie or that rookie.
54:08I just think those guys are hard when you need a player.
54:12Like I'm not saying he's not going to develop.
54:15I think he will. I just don't know when.
54:18And it's hard to keep those guys on the bench.
54:21Yeah. But in this game, like Saquon, sure, he ran well last week.
54:25He gets to face the sixth best rush defense that has Aaron Donald back.
54:30I have a hard time believing that it's going to be a big game for him.
54:35Devontae Smith's dealing with the hamstring. You know, Dontavian Wicks.
54:38He's okay. He's okay. I mean, he's okay. It's just not going to be.
54:42Their implied point total is 20. Okay. And these are two good defenses.
54:46Absolutely. Because I think that on the Eagles side, I think it's very shaky.
54:51Barkley is in play just because of who he is.
54:54He's a superstar. One run can make the whole week in volume.
54:58The rest of the team, very scared of, including Jalen Hurts.
55:01So would you play Jalen Hurts or Bryce Young against Detroit?
55:04My goodness. Disgusting. I think I pray Bryce. I mean, I told you, are we playing against each other in the Dynasty League?
55:12Wherever it is, I finally made the move where I put Shuck in above Hurts, and it feels real good.
55:18That feels like an easy move. No, it was very easy.
55:21That's what I mean. That one's easy. But how about Jalen Hurts or C.J.
55:26Stroud against the Dallas Cowboys? I don't like this.
55:29Because you know the answer is C.J. Stroud. Probably Hurts at home.
55:32I think I'd go Hurts. I would play C.J.
55:35Stroud. Yeah, I get it. Like, Jalen Hurts right now is not doing anything that you wanted for fantasy.
55:41The last two weeks, he would be on pace for 348 rushing yards.
55:45Not good. 3,500 passing yards. Not good. 17 passing touchdowns.
55:49Not good. How many rushing touchdowns? Eight and a half.
55:52Okay. Hurts or the guy on the other side?
55:55But he's on pace for 26. Interceptions. Matthew Stafford or Jalen Hurts?
55:58Andy, what do you think? The former MVP. Last year's MVP against the current 27th.
56:03If he's getting Puka back and I get Adams in Puka, I'm playing Matthew Stafford.
56:08Oof. Good luck. I'm sorry, everybody. This one's been hard.
56:11Jalen Hurts or Drake May? Jalen Hurts. Okay, we did it.
56:14We got Jalen Hurts in the lineup. Yeah, play Kyron.
56:17Play Puka and Adams if Puka's active. If Puka's not active, Mumfield is the desperation there or the Tyler Higbee option.
56:24On the other, you know, you don't have Goddard.
56:27He's not practicing. Wicks is desperation. Lemon is desperation.
56:30Devontae Smith, if he's active, you play him. But it's not a high-scoring projected game.
56:34There's supposed to be a little bit of rain, a little bit of wind, maybe some water and heart.
56:40I don't know. Earth! The Green Bay Packers at 1-2 take on the 0-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
56:46Okay. One win between these two teams and both fan bases are positive they're going to lose the game.
56:52Green Bay minus 3-1⁄2. Over-under 38-1⁄2. We may all lose with that over-under.
56:56That's what that tells me. Jalen Daniels, undrafted free agent out of Kansas, will get the start.
57:01Won the backup role in Tampa. And, yeah, that's who he starts for, Tampa.
57:06Bucky Irving was limited with a glute on Wednesday after they said he's got nothing wrong.
57:11They literally said he will not be on the injury report.
57:14Gotcha. Liars. But, yeah, both of these fan bases, like, let me go to the source here.
57:19Al Borland, as a Green Bay Packer fan, confidence in the running game right now.
57:24Zero percent. Zero percent. If you had to bet one guy gets more than eight carries, would you make that bet?
57:31One of the three, Brooks, Lloyd, Johnson. Are you asking Al or us?
57:35I'm asking you now. I do think that they will.
57:38There's been a lot of talk. I mean, first of all, I don't expect that the Tampa Bay offense is going to do a ton.
57:46So there's been so much talk this week from the Packers camp about needing to run the ball more, even when it's failing, because it's going to fail.
57:55I love that that's the context, because it's really stating the exact state of affairs.
57:59Yeah, but it's like they want to, you know, they talked about it being like a body shot in boxing, where it's
58:06just you've got to keep hitting them over and over, and you've got to stay committed to it.
58:12When you get a bunch of third and eight, you are body shotting yourself.
58:16Yeah, I get that. But my point is, when you really are committed to the run and you want to do it
58:23all game, you still cannot if you're down a score or two.
58:27And in this matchup against Jalen Daniels, an undrafted free agent rookie making his first start, I hope that the Packers aren't
58:34going to be down two scores, because that would be embarrassing for them.
58:38And if they are up or if it's, you know, in a neutral game environment, I do think they're going to be committed to handing the ball off.
58:47But to who? Probably Lloyd first, Caleb Johnson second.
58:50Yeah, they came out and said that all the running backs have not had enough chances to get going.
58:56To me, that says maybe they'll pick one to get a chance to get going.
59:01Last week, neither one had over eight opportunities. The price picks line, I think, is like eight and a half for Caleb.
59:07Give Caleb Johnson 15 touches. Here's my predict. I think they'll give Caleb the ball this week.
59:13Yes. And it will fail miserably. Yeah. But good luck against Vita Vea with this talent on the offensive side.
59:19Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, play them both. Tucker Craft, that is a spot where Tampa Bay has been vulnerable.
59:25So far, he only has one red zone target.
59:28They've made moves to make the offensive line better.
59:31This is an easy math equation for Green Bay.
59:34Tucker Craft gets better when he gets healthier from the ACL and isn't needed to block in line as much because they
59:40fix some things on the offensive line. Until those things happen, Craft will be hit and miss.
59:46I, you know, the breakout game is coming. I still believe it.
59:50I do too. He's too good. He's paid too much money.
59:53You know, Jayden Reed is gone. Like, the kind of short area stuff.
59:57You know, is it this week? Like, I'm really indecided with him and Waller.
60:02I just don't know what to do with that situation.
60:05Yeah, that is pretty tough. I think I lean the Tucker Craft side.
60:09Like Mike said, eight targets last week. And similar to neighbors, you expect a slower start to the season, but they will get it together.
60:17But, like, by the end of the season, at some point, the athleticism catches up.
60:21I mean, the atrophy goes away and you are ready to be the manimal you were.
60:26I don't know if it'll be this week, but the matchup is pretty good against the Buccaneers.
60:32Stop dropping the ball! Yeah, that's going to be helpful for sure.
60:36Jordan Lover, Jalen Hurts. Jordan Lover. Jordan Lover. I'm still confident in the passing game for the Packers.
60:41Yeah. They can't run. Matthew Golden and Christian Watson, it's delightful.
60:45My only fear at all was that last second visual hamstring pull from Christian Watson.
60:49Wednesday's injury practice report came out. He was not on it.
60:53He wasn't even listed as a full participant. He was just not on it.
60:57So, he was just doing a bit. Yeah. A little psych out.
61:01Got us. Like, on the interception. What a prank.
61:04Because he was like, oh, I would have been a part of that play, but my hammy.
61:09Emeka Abuka, wide receiver 33, 32, and 39 through three weeks.
61:13Right now, I mean. No. He's in the, like, category of, you know.
61:17Are you playing Dontavian Wicks or him? I mean.
61:20No, I'll still go Abuka there. He's above that, right?
61:23But there is. I mean, backup quarterback. Abuka with an undrafted quarterback who you, we have no idea if he can be good.
61:30The Packers defense is not scary, but a situation where you're already not performing and now you have a worse quarterback.
61:37I would prefer to have you on the bench, score a bunch of points so I can have confidence for next week.
61:44I mean, it's 11 weeks in a row for Abuka where he has not had 10 fantasy points.
61:49He hasn't had nine fantasy points. So, this is not a guy with a rookie quarterback that I'm expecting to get a
61:56touchdown, which is seemingly his only way he's going to hit that double-digit threshold.
62:01I mean, he had a touchdown two weeks ago and he didn't hit, you know, 10 points.
62:06So, he's, to me, he's like a double flex option.
62:09Bucky seems like a good play in this game because Green Bay's defense has given up 29.2 fantasy points.
62:15And how do you protect a rookie undrafted free agent?
62:18Yes. You let him hand the ball off and you have success against Green Bay.
62:23He 100% should be a good play, but an injury combined with the defense can just, like, when you're a bad rush
62:30defense but you don't have to worry about the quarterback, I'm going to sell out until the quarterback proves that he can beat me.
62:37Tennessee's 0-3. They travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens at 2-1.
62:41Oh, boy. The line, Baltimore minus 11.5. We can be quick with this one.
62:46The over-under is 42.5. That gives Baltimore 27. That means you start Jackson, Henry, Flowers.
62:51End of list. If Flowers is back, Bateman is not an option.
62:54Correct. So, the Baltimore starts are simple. On the Tennessee side, the Tennessee sits are simple.
62:59Yeah. All of them. Sit them all. You want to play Pollard?
63:03He didn't practice. Foot injury. You want to play Spears?
63:06Didn't practice. Ankle injury. You want to play Cam Ward?
63:09You literally should be in an institution. It's Singleton's time to shine, baby.
63:14I mean, Nicholas Singleton, I like. Yeah. But he's not shining.
63:17No. It's his time to not shine and get carries.
63:20Yeah. Some context. Spears was knocked out of the game.
63:23Bro. And they were like, Singleton, you stay there.
63:26Listen, Jason. I watched. Both starters are gone. Pollard didn't practice really last week, too.
63:31I watched Carnell Tate routes this week. They were fantastic.
63:34Open all the time. Double moves. No. He even got targeted on some of them while he was wide open as it flew over his head.
63:42Do you realize that Cam Ward has zero completions over 20 yards?
63:46There's no big plays. He is 34th in yards per attempt.
63:49I mean, this is. How are we talking about Caleb Williams in a robe?
63:54And we're not talking about that play last week where Cameron Ward stopped moving.
63:58Yeah. What a cool trick you got. He stopped moving.
64:01You're allowed to do that if you're the best.
64:04He just kind of sat. He had the feet going and then no one was up.
64:09And then he just kind of turned off. He just turned off.
64:13And he was like, hmm. He did complete the pass on that play.
64:17But it's like. He did it in college a couple times.
64:21This is not. Serious. This is not appropriate. It's not serious quarterback.
64:24That is unserious. And they've talked about his footwork is atrocious.
64:28And. Interception in the end zone. They could have won that game.
64:32I can't imagine being a head coach in the NFL.
64:35Don't worry. Brian D'Abel is confident in him as a player in person.
64:39Yay. Yay. I think Brian D'Abel is going to have a new job next year.
64:44I hope he's got a new quarterback sooner than his new job.
64:47But some context to rookie, you know, highly drafted wide receivers and their target share for the first three weeks because Carnell
64:54Tate's at a 25 percent target share. They're not throwing the ball enough, but he is being targeted last week.
65:00How many? How many do you have it in front of you?
65:04Who do you want? Nine targets. No, he did.
65:07He had nine targets, six catches, 58 yards wide open for a touchdown that they couldn't complete.
65:12I saw people dropping Carnell Tate. No, no, no, no, no.
65:16And I went to scoop him up immediately. I think that is a massive mistake.
65:21I mean. Would you play Ibuka or Carnell Tate?
65:23Carnell Tate. For sure. Easily. With the Jalen Daniel start?
65:27I think I'd play Carnell Tate. I think I would play Carnell Tate.
65:31Well, ironically, some of the numbers on that, Emeka Ibuka, his first three weeks as his rookie season, he was only 22 percent target share.
65:39Rome was at 18. Teterola McMillan, great rookie season, was only 24 percent through his first three weeks.
65:44It's just so much more than target share. No, I agree with that.
65:48I'm not saying you're saying that it's all that, but it's not a stat that I am holding on to for Carnell
65:55Tate in particular, because the target from Cam Ward, you need four to equal a target from a regular quarterback.
66:02And those three games for Ibuka last year that you talked about, you know, he scored three touchdowns in him.
66:08For goodness sakes, Carnell Tate, what's the overrunner on touchdowns the rest of the way?
66:13What's insane is- Carnell Tate should have had a touchdown in that game.
66:17Exactly. He was wide open in the end zone.
66:19And it was a target. Yeah. And it just got missed.
66:23So it's, I mean, it's so easy. And Wondell's out targeting him.
66:27Yeah. I mean, it's going to those two guys.
66:30The part of the problem here is volume and speed, because, you know, you could say, oh, 25% target share is not bad.
66:37But, you know, we've talked about this in the past with Baltimore, where it's like, well, how many total targets?
66:43They're playing so slow, where it's like Cam Ward had 23 completions.
66:47Two weeks ago, it was 13 completions. You'd have to have like 75% target share to matter.
66:52So hopefully Cam Ward gets it together, figures out a little bit better play.
66:57I mean, we saw down the stretch last year, some signs of life from Cam Ward.
67:02You came into this season, Andy. Shut up. Shut your mouth.
67:05Really believing that the Titans- Shut your freaking mouth.
67:08We're going to be a good offense in the Cam Ward.
67:11I don't know what you're talking about. That wasn't me.
67:15It was going to be good. That wasn't me.
67:17So, you know, it's still very early in his career.
67:21I hate myself for thinking that. I really do.
67:23Yeah. I want to apologize for that. I want to apologize for believing anything about Malik Willis and Miami.
67:29I want to apologize for doubting Kyron Williams. Oh, the spotlight here is...
67:33I hate any wrong things I say, and those were super wrong.
67:37Cam Ward sucks balls. Cam Ward's. Oh, get wrecked!
67:40Get wrecked! I mean, I had to do something to get out of the spotlight.
67:45I will remind you. Which is still... Something's happening in this room right now.
67:49Andy, for as bad as you feel, just remember, the Titans drafted him at number one.
67:54They feel worse, you think? Yeah. Our room is...
67:57We're in a complete... We're where we should be.
68:00Oh, Jeremy's running around. He definitely wants the camera on and over there.
68:04Dallas. Oh, yeah, Brooks. I should have hit that.
68:07What did he say? That's on me, Brooks. I don't say it often.
68:11That's for sure. Dallas 1-2, Houston 0-3, over under 48.5.
68:14You talked about Stroud. Houston minus 3. Still favorite at home at 0-3 against Dallas.
68:19Because Dallas is 1-2 and seem... They just seem inexact in what they are.
68:23Like, we don't... They just made a trade for Joey Porter Jr.
68:27Big trade. Probably not playing this week. Could be out there.
68:30Houston's defense has been weird. They are still stopping running backs.
68:34So, I have my doubts about Javante going into Houston with that crowd and going up against the number two running defense and doing anything.
68:42So, I think there might be start-set decisions related to him, like Braylon Allen.
68:46Like, Braylon Allen or Javante, I think, is a fair question.
68:50I think it's fair. Like, Braylon Allen will probably have more yards than Javante, but I'll...
68:55Touchdown upside still... Just to go with Javante. It's still pretty hot in this game.
68:59Are you there too, Jay? Yeah. I am a barely Javante.
69:03I think that's a fair call, though. You can make the decision on your own.
69:08This is a team that, you know, last year, the Texans, you couldn't do anything against them.
69:13This year, they've been beaten in the passing game.
69:16However, two-thirds of their games were Josh Allen and Joe Burrow, and now here's Dak.
69:20So, it's like, I don't know. Are they going to figure that out?
69:25No. You don't think so? Do you think they're just not as good as they were last year?
69:30I don't think they're figuring it out this week against Dak and Seedy and Pickens.
69:35No, I don't. I think their numbers are going to look this bad next week.
69:40They might win the game because Dallas' defense is equally atrocious, and, you know, can they run the ball?
69:46They thought that they could get their little Joe Mixon thing going with David Montgomery and Woody Marks.
69:51They have not. David Montgomery has been... If Woody Marks is on your waiver wire, you should pick him up.
69:58I mean, David Mopportunity is a cool 6 for 10 and 11 for 33 the last two weeks with no touchdowns.
70:04I mean, it's been gross. Gross, nasty, nasty. I would pick up Woody Marks.
70:09Yeah, but he's only averaging 3.3 a touch, but they may move on.
70:13But he has looked much better than David Montgomery.
70:15I mean, I know that there's been some talk about them getting him more involved.
70:20I think this... You're still going to go to the bathroom for David Montgomery?
70:25Woody Marks was 8 for 8. Yeah, I mean, this is...
70:28Woody Marks was 5 for 15 the last two games.
70:31They haven't run it the last two games. It's an offensive line problem, and I do think that they certainly still prefer David Montgomery over Woody Marks.
70:40David Montgomery played 63% of the snaps last week, so it's like this is still their leader.
70:45At this point, he is. Yes, but it was a difficult matchup.
70:49Now, they're playing against the Cowboys. This could be a week where David Montgomery is benched in a lot of leagues and
70:56has two touchdowns again on your bench. Are you playing him against a Dallas defense that's ranked 25th so far, or are
71:03you playing Javante, who gets everything against the number two Houston defense?
71:06I would play David Montgomery. So that's interesting. You guys should bet like $100 on that.
71:12No, I'm not bullish. I'm not bullish on David Montgomery.
71:15He only bets on Naren Rodgers. I bet against...
71:17He's a man of principle. I bet against the Browns.
71:21Okay. In this game, by the way, Nico Collins could be back.
71:24He was seen practicing again on Thursday. And you play him.
71:28They would need him. CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Mike, start of the week.
71:32Play him. And then Jake Ferguson, he has managed to score in two straight weeks.
71:37He has a touchdown or bust tight end, but you could maybe do worse in a high over-under game than sliding him
71:44into your lineup if you need to. Ferguson, Mike, or Colson Loveland?
71:47Wow. Wow. Let's finish our matchup talk with that.
71:50Ferguson. All right. This also feels like a playoff game.
71:53Like one of these teams... Between a 1-2 and 0-3 teams.
71:57As in like... As in... You lose your toast.
