84

A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury43:23

AJ Brown is dealing with an injury; the source predicts AJ Brown will return to play before Jordan Tyson, suggesting a near-term return timeline.

Insight page

Aaron Rodgers

NegativeProjection26:45

Rodgers was among the top quarterback scorers in Week 4, finishing in the top tier alongside Burrow, Stroud, and Cousins.

Insight page

Anthony Richardson

NegativeRole70:45

Anthony Richardson had a bomb touchdown to Burks but the broader point is that Jalen Daniels came in and couldn't read a blitz; Richardson's accuracy looked abysmal and he was a wreck. Back-to-back wins for the Colts are masking how terrible Daniel Jones played, but he will be exposed when not playing a third-string quarterback.

Insight page

Bam Knight

PositiveRole55:13

Knight is being preferred over top-five draft pick Jeremiah Love in goal-line situations and receiving increased offensive opportunities; Love himself stated the team should play Knight because he performs better, signaling a shift in the Falcons' backfield hierarchy.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeProjection0:24

Bijan Robinson was mentioned as part of a fantasy team's Monday Night Football matchup in Week 4, though no specific performance or role analysis was provided in this segment.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeRole32:00

Blake Corum was 5 for 14 (targets) in Week 4 and has been dropping passes early in games, leading the Rams to move away from him and rely on Kyron Williams instead. The source indicates Corum will see increased usage only in games where the Rams are significant favorites and can afford to rest Williams, but in competitive or losing efforts, Williams is the clear priority.

Insight page

Bo Nix

PositiveRole53:30

Nix's offense is running a check-down heavy scheme with an average depth of target of just 5.3 yards, creating a boring, unproductive passing attack that the public dislikes; this conservative play-calling limits his fantasy ceiling.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveUsage50:43

Target share increased dramatically from 10% in weeks 1-2 to 26% in weeks 3-4; receiving yardage trending up; team running more 12-personnel packages with him more involved; posted 7 catches for 95 yards against Bengals; speaker cautions against overexcitement given historical volatility of tight end production.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection48:58

Brock Bowers delivered a strong Week 4 performance, highlighted as part of an elite tight end week alongside George Kittle and Tucker Kraft, continuing his emergence as a top-tier fantasy option.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection5:36

After being benched earlier in the season, Bryce Young has finally figured it out and is now playing great ball; he's enjoying himself on the field and playing at a high level, with the speaker noting he's 'happy out there and he's playing some great ball.'

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

NegativeProjection26:35

Stroud is on pace for 641 pass attempts, 4,800 yards, and 51 sacks—a reflection of the Texans' inability to run the ball effectively. The Texans defense has not been as good as last year and has been tested against strong offenses (Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Dak Prescott) and failed. Stroud has played well but is being forced to carry the offense through volume.

Insight page
NegativeProjection26:45

Stroud was among the top quarterback scorers in Week 4, finishing in the top tier alongside Burrow, Cousins, and Rodgers.

Insight page

Cam Ward

NegativeProjection5:00

Cam Ward is characterized as the worst quarterback in football; hosts critique his fundamental footwork, positioning, and decision-making, noting he throws sidearm without reason, stands straight up, and angles improperly on fade-backs; comparison made to a Disney Channel quarterback who relied on athleticism and big plays in college but struggles with NFL fundamentals like holding the football and making proper decisions.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveRole3:22

Carnell Tate delivered downfield throws in Week 4 game, not just short passes from the line of scrimmage; hosts noted that staying strong with him in starting roster was rewarded, and one host was playing him yesterday with positive results.

Insight page
NegativeRole43:38

Carnell Tate is among several receivers getting opportunities in the Eagles offense alongside Romeo Dobbs and Malik Neighbors.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection0:33

CeeDee Lamb posted 17 receptions in Week 4, providing significant relief to a fantasy team that had suffered setbacks from Jamar Chase's concussion and Marcus Mariota's early exit from the Washington game.

Insight page
PositiveRole29:31

Lamb became the focal point of the Cowboys offense in the second half against the Texans. After the first half stalled, the Cowboys shifted to 'operation throw to CeeDee Lamb'—not looking around, just focusing on one spot and throwing it there. This solution led to the game exploding in the second half, demonstrating Lamb's importance to the offense.

Insight page
PositiveUsage43:08

CeeDee Lamb crossed 21 targets in a game, reminiscent of Brandon Marshall's high-volume performances with Jay Cutler and Ryan Fitzpatrick, indicating elite target share and volume.

Insight page
PositiveUsage46:09

CeeDee Lamb commanded 21 targets in Week 4, demonstrating elite target volume and usage despite the Eagles' offensive struggles with Jalen Hurts completing only 12 passes.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveInjury1:00

DJ Moore went down during Week 4, creating a void in the Buffalo offense that contributed to the team's offensive struggles and may have impacted target distribution for other receivers like Dalton Kincaid.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeUsage32:14

DeAndre Swift did not touch the ball after fumbling in the third quarter with 8:54 remaining in Week 4. He had two touchdowns called back. The source notes Swift was questionable with a hamstring injury heading into the game and suggests the fumble may have been a symptom of his health status rather than a pure performance issue, but the benching after the fumble is concerning for his role going forward.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

NegativeMatchup29:22

Prescott struggled in the first half against the Texans, taking his drop back and looking around with nothing available downfield. The Cowboys' offensive struggles in the first half led to a strategic shift in the second half that resulted in better performance.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeUsage1:00

Dalton Kincaid received only two targets in Week 4 against New England despite being heavily involved early in the season. Head coach Joe Brady acknowledged the issue post-game, stating "There's no reason Dalton Kincaid should have two targets. I got to find a way to get the ball in his hands." The Patriots ranked as the number one most difficult matchup for tight ends prior to Week 4, suggesting Buffalo may have schemed to keep Kincaid off the field against their elite tight end defense rather than a talent or role decline.

Insight page

Darius Cooper

PositiveProjection43:44

Darius Cooper has 5 receptions on the season with 3 of them resulting in touchdowns, demonstrating elite red zone efficiency and touchdown upside.

Insight page

Darren Waller

NegativeProjection75:33

Darren Waller was disappointing despite having a lot of pass attempts in a game with good volume. He managed only 36 yards instead of the expected 27, failing to capitalize on the opportunity.

Insight page

Dawson Knox

NegativeUsage2:25

Dawson Knox received a couple of targets early in the Week 4 game against New England, though the overall tight end usage pattern in that game was described as "weird" by the analysts.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeBust25:54

Drake May was the number one quarterback scorer in Week 4, but the speaker references dropping him in a guillotine league due to consistent poor performance, choosing Marcus Mariota instead; May will hit waivers after this week.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeUsage0:11

Garrett Wilson ended up off a week, and the Jets' offensive strategy appears designed to slow down the game and reduce total plays. The team is playing way too slow, which makes it impossible for pass catchers like Wilson to accumulate volume. The speaker notes this is an old-school strategy that doesn't align with modern analytics and success patterns.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveProjection48:50

George Kittle delivered another strong performance, referred to as 'the machine,' continuing his elite production week in Week 4 alongside Brock Bowers and Tucker Kraft.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveRole30:11

Likely had a good game with Jameis Winston throwing for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns against Arizona. This was the first time Likely has been given a good game from Jameis, marking an encouraging sign for his role in the offense.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeInjury0:33

Jamar Chase suffered a concussion in Week 4, creating a significant setback for fantasy teams relying on his production.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeInjury0:09

Jadarian Price was placed on IR; his status does not guarantee he will return soon. The speaker expresses skepticism about Price's fantasy viability this season, noting he hasn't seen evidence of meaningful participation and doesn't believe he will transition from hamstring injury to fantasy starter quickly.

Insight page
NegativeInjury5:54

Jadarian Price was placed on injured reserve over the weekend and is expected to be out for at least four weeks; Schefter reported he is unlikely to return until week seven at the earliest, meaning Price will miss multiple fantasy-relevant weeks.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeRole45:48

Jalen Hurts bears blame for the Eagles' offensive struggles, with the source expressing frustration toward him specifically.

Insight page
NegativeProjection52:37

Listed as a dud for Week 4 with disappointing fantasy output.

Insight page

Jalen McMillan

NegativeUsage5:18

Jaylen McMillan, a rookie, made an impressive sideline catch and was awesome in his last game; however, the Browns didn't throw the ball to him much in a recent game, though it's unclear whether this was due to coverage or game plan.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

PositiveRole30:22

Jameis threw for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns against Arizona, giving both Isaiah Likely and Malik Nabors a good game—the first time this has been seen from Jameis. This was encouraging after two poor weeks (one where he was thrust in unexpectedly against the Rams, another in bad weather against the Rams). The hope is to get back to 'bad Jameis'—air it out, have success, throw some picks so they keep airing it out—rather than ineffective Jameis.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveUsage30:52

Williams was among the top five running backs on the week, continuing a pattern of strong performance.

Insight page
PositiveUsage31:34

Javante Williams was among the top five running backs in Week 4. The source credits the speaker for correctly predicting Williams' breakout after apologizing for missing it the prior week, indicating confidence in his elevated role and scoring potential.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveInjury55:28

Love, drafted in the top five, is dealing with more than just an ankle injury; he revealed in a post-game press conference that his body feels randomly tired and he's managing undisclosed issues beyond the ankle, contributing to his limited role (14 carries for 63 yards, one target) and benching in goal-line situations.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeProjection26:30

Burrow did not have a great game in Week 4 but still finished as the number two quarterback scorer for the week, behind Drake May.

Insight page

Joe Mixon

NegativeRole0:23

Joe Mixon is visiting Seattle and the team is working him out. Mixon released a hype video over the weekend ending with 'I'm back,' suggesting he is attempting a return to football. The speaker speculates Mixon may have attended an alternative healing facility for a foot injury.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveUsage71:57

Jonathan Taylor had multiple touchdowns and carried the Colts offense in an easy win, allowing them to mask poor quarterback play from Daniel Jones.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

NegativeInjury0:10

Jordan Tyson suffered a hamstring injury at ASU that didn't heal quickly then, and he re-injured it in the offseason with similar slow recovery. The team is now saying week seven at the earliest for return. The speaker is skeptical of his fantasy value even upon return, questioning snap count ramp-up timelines and whether the offense will be built around him, suggesting he may only be a fantasy playoff winner at best given the team's high snap volume.

Insight page
NegativeProjection6:30

Jordan Tyson is unlikely to contribute meaningfully to fantasy this season; the speaker has no confidence he will return from his hamstring injury and become a fantasy starter, stating 'I don't see it' and 'I have no thoughts that he's going to come back and go from hamstring to fantasy starter.'

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue72:38

Josh Downs is preferred over Stefon Diggs rest of season in an acquisition window. Downs had double-digit performances in weeks two and three, whereas Diggs hasn't been double digits since last year (11 points). For the next five weeks, Diggs will be unplayable due to Baker Mayfield's injury, making Downs the better target.

Insight page

Joshua Palmer

NegativeUsage1:49

Joshua Palmer had a horrible drop in Week 4, contributing to Buffalo's offensive struggles and the team's difficulty moving the ball effectively.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection24:51

Herbert threw two horrifically bad interceptions directly to defenders in Week 4, taking responsibility for putting his team in a losing position; despite battling back and getting hit repeatedly, the Chargers still lost, continuing their winless streak.

Insight page
NegativeProjection24:51

Threw at least two horrifically bad interceptions in the first half of Week 4, throwing the ball right to defenders. Despite battling back in the second half, his poor first-half performance raised questions about his play quality and gave fantasy analysts material to debate regarding blame for the Chargers' offensive struggles.

Insight page
NegativeRole45:48

Justin Herbert deserves blame for the Chargers' offensive struggles, though the source also blames head coach Jim Harbaugh and the offensive line.

Insight page
NegativeRole45:53

Herbert deserves blame for the Chargers' offensive struggles; the speaker explicitly states 'Herbert deserves blame' alongside criticism of McDaniel and the offensive line, indicating quarterback performance concerns.

Insight page
NegativeProjection52:37

Listed as a dud for Week 4 with disappointing fantasy output.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeInjury47:34

Justin Jefferson's status for Week 5 is uncertain; he may not play against the New Orleans Saints due to injury, and the Vikings have a bye the following week, which could allow them to rest him if needed.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveUsage31:15

Walker was among the top five running backs on the week and scored on two consecutive touches, demonstrating explosive efficiency.

Insight page
PositiveUsage31:32

Kenneth Walker scored on two consecutive touches in Week 4, putting up approximately 14 fantasy points in about 15 seconds. He was among the top five running backs on the week, demonstrating explosive efficiency and touchdown upside.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

NegativeUsage73:30

Kenyon Sadiq's fantasy value is severely limited by the Jets' offensive volume. The Jets had only 30 plays in a game against the Bears, who had 89 plays—a massive disparity. With such limited opportunities, Sadiq will struggle to accumulate fantasy points.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveRole1:00

Keon Coleman stepped up in Week 4 when DJ Moore went down, demonstrating his ability to contribute when given increased opportunity in the Buffalo offense.

Insight page
PositiveProjection43:03

Keon Coleman continues to look good with a 6 for 116 receiving line, showing consistent production.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveProjection26:35

Cousins tied for league lead with 11 passing touchdowns through four weeks and has been a QB10-12 the last three weeks. In the right matchup—such as two weeks out against Buffalo at home—he projects for a very good fantasy week with bunch of pass attempts, yards, and passing touchdowns. However, he gives nothing on the ground and most good weeks are not fantastic; he's a top-12 guy but won't win a week outright.

Insight page
PositiveProjection27:00

Cousins tied for the league lead in passing touchdowns with 11 through four weeks; in Week 4 specifically, he completed 52 passing attempts for 365 yards against the Chiefs, leading the speaker to ask if Cousins should now be viewed differently after four weeks of strong performance.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection47:10

Kyler Murray 'sucks' according to the speaker; the Cardinals are 4-0 but the offense is 'horrible' and 'disgusting,' having scored no offensive touchdowns in two of their four wins. Murray failed to score 12 fantasy points against Tampa and Miami defenses, warranting a drop recommendation.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage31:22

Kyron Williams received 13 targets in Week 4, leading the Rams backfield. The source notes that Williams is the Rams' preferred option in important situations and when trailing; he'll see reduced usage only in games where the Rams are significant favorites and can rest him. Matthew Stafford's poor performance (more interceptions than last Thanksgiving, not MVP-level efficiency) has made the Rams lean heavily on the run game, with Williams as the focal point.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury0:13

Lamar Jackson was tackled and injured his ankle on what the speaker describes as a normal play. The speaker notes Jackson didn't make a decision fast enough on the play, contributing to the injury.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveRole30:11

Nabors had a good game with Jameis Winston throwing for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns against Arizona. This was the first time Nabors has been given a good game from Jameis, marking an encouraging sign for his role in the offense.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

NegativeInjury0:33

Marcus Mariota left the Washington game early in Week 4, creating disruption for fantasy teams dependent on his passing volume and the receivers in that offense.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeProjection52:17

Listed as a dud for Week 4 with no touchdowns and two interceptions; disappointing fantasy output.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeUsage50:51

Receiving only three targets regularly; speaker dismisses listener puns about the player and reassures that 'he'll be fine' despite limited target volume.

Insight page

Pat Bryant

NegativeInjury23:52

Carted off with a right ankle injury in Week 4 via the same mechanism as Tyquan Thornton's injury—a hip drop tackle where the player lands directly on their ankle. The hosts noted that ankles typically do not survive hip drop tackles, suggesting a serious injury.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveBreakout42:56

Romeo Dobbs scored two touchdowns and is looking strong; if available on waivers, he's worth targeting as a potential breakout option until AJ Brown returns from injury.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveProjection48:36

Sam LaPorta had a 'big week' in Week 4, highlighted alongside other elite tight end performances (Brock Bowers, George Kittle, Tucker Kraft) as part of a strong week for the position.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeRole72:26

Stefon Diggs cannot be started without Baker Mayfield. Baker is out 3-6 weeks, and Diggs hasn't been able to be started happily in almost a calendar year, dating back to halfway through last season. With Jalen Daniels at QB, the offense was check-down heavy to Godwin, not a passing game.

Insight page

T.J. Hockenson

PositiveProjection46:32

T.J. Hockenson posted 18 fantasy points on 13 catches and 119 yards on 13 targets, marking a 'return to glory' after operating in a 19% target share the prior week; he was denied a touchdown when he went down at the one-yard line to secure victory, suggesting even higher ceiling potential.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup47:43

T.J. Hockenson should be a great play in Week 5 against the New Orleans Saints, especially with uncertainty around Justin Jefferson's availability and the Vikings having a bye the following week, meaning Minnesota may rest Jefferson in Week 5.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection75:09

Travis Kelce had 2 catches for 15 yards and the Chiefs are heading into their bye week. This is a good time to assess what the Chiefs will do on the offensive side and whether they will pick up anybody, as Kelce's production has been disappointing.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeMatchup52:41

Against Philadelphia, Lawrence will still be a QB1 but lower-tier; Houston's defense is not yet proven as a concern, and the Jaguars face a bye week after the Texans matchup, making the next three weeks a test of whether his first three weeks' performance level will continue.

Insight page
NegativeProjection52:45

Listed as a dud for Week 4 against Cincinnati; game was expected to be a shootout given 50+ over-under but delivered disappointing fantasy output; described as 'not fun to watch' and 'a big time bummer'; upcoming schedule includes Philadelphia (who shut down Stafford) and Houston before bye week.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveBreakout49:08

Tucker Kraft is 'climbing into the top five' tight ends and scored a touchdown in Week 4, though he dropped an easy touchdown pass that 'floated' to him, suggesting his ceiling is even higher than his current production.

Insight page
NegativeBust49:15

Dropped an easy touchdown in Week 4 described as 'one of the easiest touchdowns you've ever seen' that 'just floated' and required only accepting it; speaker gives him a pass due to ACL recovery and return-to-form process, but the drop was notably poor execution.

Insight page
NegativeInjury49:15

Tucker Kraft is being given 'a little bit of a pass' on his dropped touchdown because he missed time with an ACL injury and is still coming back from it, suggesting his performance should be viewed in the context of his recovery timeline.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

PositiveRole55:35

Allgeier is being preferred over top-five draft pick Jeremiah Love in goal-line and offensive situations; Love's own post-game comments suggest the Falcons are shifting work to Allgeier because he performs better in those roles.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeProjection0:24

Tyler Higbee (referred to as "Tyler Chuck" in the transcript) was mentioned as part of a fantasy team's Monday Night Football matchup in Week 4, though no specific performance or role analysis was provided.

Insight page

Tyquan Thornton

NegativeInjury21:29

Suffered a dislocated leg/ankle injury during Week 4 game after catching a downfield pass. The injury was severe enough that his foot was facing the wrong direction, though he initially didn't notice. His agent indicated he expects to sign with a team in the next few days, but actual return to play could be mid to late November, making him a difficult waiver wire add in fantasy as he won't be on injury reserve but will be unavailable for weeks.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

NegativeInjury22:17

Agent indicated Tyreek Hill expects to sign with a team in the next few days following the acceleration of Kansas City's wide receiver injuries (Tyquan Thornton and another starter out). However, he won't be ready to play until mid to late November. This creates a fantasy dilemma: he won't be on injury reserve, so adding him means rostering him on the bench for weeks while his ramp-up to playing football extends into November.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveBreakout50:00

Contrasted favorably against Craft and Adams in Week 4, described as 'fingertip catching everything' and praised as 'so good' and 'so fun' with 'scary how good he is' assessment; speaker notes his quarterback situation has changed but still has a pro bowler.

0:00Welcome in the Fantasy Footballers, October 5th, Monday episode of the show.
0:04Should have a fun football game this evening. The level of restraint and character that I just exuded for you gentlemen.
0:10You have no idea. Really? What happened? It should have been shock daddy time.
0:15But I held it back. You are? You were going to do that?
0:19I wanted to do it. I bet you would have done it if our matchup was closer.
0:24Maybe. Because that thing is over. Yeah, I thought maybe, I thought I'd be really stressed for Monday Night Football with you with Bijan and Tyler Chuck.
0:33But one Jamar Chase concussion. One Marcus Mariota leaving in the very beginning of the Washington game.
0:38Hurt your digs. Don Kincaid sucks now. 17 receptions for CeeDee Lamb later and we're in good shape.
0:44No, I mean, you can talk about that. We're going to get into all the studs and duds on today's show.
0:51We got your Monday Monday reactions news to talk about and you know, we still got another game.
0:57But I mean, this is the conversation I didn't want to have.
1:00I said, what if Dalton Kincaid goes out there in week four and lays an egg, which you know, DJ Moore went out in this game.
1:09Keon Coleman stepped up. Right. You know, they had a horrible drop from Joshua Palmer in this one.
1:14But Dalton Kincaid was nowhere to be found. No, the routes went down.
1:18Joe Brady after Sunday's game quote. There's no reason Dalton Kincaid should have two targets.
1:23I got to find a way to get the ball in his hands.
1:27I just don't know how. Yeah, I know. I'm not giving up on Dalton Kincaid, but that feels.
1:33It feels very bad and ridiculous that you can have the start to the season where he's getting all the routes.
1:40He's super involved and he's kicking butt for you.
1:43Yeah, you're like, well, but DJ Moore went down.
1:45Yeah, I mean, and we're like, we might lose this game to the Patriots guys.
1:50We got to get some offense going. Yeah, Dawson Knox ends up with a couple of targets early in the game.
1:57It was weird. And now we're gonna have to make, you know, you're gonna have to think about what you have long term there.
2:05Yep. Because it's not the first time that Buffalo said we need to get Dalton Kincaid more involved in an offense.
2:11I will say this. And I think it's an important context.
2:15If you look at like, what do we do with Dalton Kincaid?
2:19Sure, I trade for him low. Is he just, you know, pumpkin?
2:22Is he reverting to a pumpkin? The New England Patriots were prior to this week, the number one most difficult matchup for tight end.
2:30So this is like, maybe it's a scheme thing where it's like, hey, they would like to, but they guard tight ends really, really well.
2:38So we'll just keep him off the field. That was the strat.
2:42Uh, maybe. Can't stop me if I stop myself.
2:45Can't defend what's not there. Yeah, it's, it's a wild one.
2:48We have a lot going on a lot to talk about.
2:52We got some updates on some injuries. We had more injuries that have implications for free agent signings.
2:57And, uh, a reminder, the community, the greatest community on planet Earth, the Foot Clan available at jointhefoot.com.
3:03We'd love to have you in there. Uh, 60,000 strong over on the discord server.
3:08And, uh, the website is the fantasy footballers.com. You guys gave us your reactions this weekend.
3:13A little bit of good, a little bit of bad, a little bit of bad puns, of course.
3:19And we'll start right now in the most sophisticated manner possible.
3:22Uh, yeah. Starting with, oh, uh, starting with Tedaroa McMillions.
3:25Oh, I guess he's good. Yeah. So is Bam Laporta.
3:28Yeah, he was awesome. Or CD Lamb Borghini. Yes.
3:31And, uh, just simple Drake. Yay. Yeah. No, no Ken Walker here.
3:35It's Ken Runner, the third. That's right. Hey, it's Quinchon Studkins, guys.
3:39Yep. Enjoy your week. Jason. Jason. I love this one.
3:42Car-nel great. Yes. We had a good game. Uh, say my name, say my name.
3:47Jolly Gordon. He was the dude. And Nico Ballin's out there.
3:50Or Kyle. Nom, nom, nom, nom, nom, guy. And we had some bad ones like Dontavian whiffs.
3:56Oh, man. And faltering Kincaid. This one took me a second, but I got there.
4:00We got atheist Watson. Oh. Oh. How about Ken Yon Sadiq?
4:04Oh, he got Dalton Shucks. Uh, Darren Waller. Matthew Staff Infection?
4:07Oh. David Montbummery. Oh. Josh Frowns. And I like this one.
4:11Cam Scatterpoop. Yes. And Anemic Iqbuka. Oh, man. It's been bad.
4:14Yeah. Not that you can really blame him. He was so close to being able to be Emeka Iqusa, but.
4:21Is that what you were rooting for? Yeah. At that point it shifted to where.
4:26Pun priorities? Yeah. But it didn't goose. Thank you for sharing your Monday Punday entries there on Instagram at Fantasy Footballers, on X at the FF Ballers.
4:34Hey, and some of those like shout out to the people that if you, if you stayed strong with Carnell Tate and your starting roster, congratulations.
4:42Thank you. I appreciate that. I, I will. Is it my starting roster?
4:47Oh, then congratulations to you as well. Cause there was.
4:50Have you seen his starting roster, Mike? He's probably his best player.
4:54It was so easy. Ain't no way. I was playing Carnell Tate yesterday, but that was great to see.
5:00It was. And they weren't all like four yards from the line of scrimmage.
5:04They were some downfield throws. I will say, I mean, nothing in that game changed my opinion about Cam Ward being the worst quarterback in football.
5:12There's something, it's not, it's like every, like not everybody watching football is like, you know, Mike, you're growing up.
5:19Your son is playing football. You're around practices. You know, you know, we've watched football for 20, 30 years.
5:25You know, maybe we understand some of the, the small, the small things about, you know, footwork or formations and things like that.
5:32I think a dude off the street could watch Cam Ward fade back to pass and be like, what's, why is he doing?
5:39What? What's the, why is he, why is he angling that way?
5:43What is he standing straight up? Why is he threw sidearm for no reason?
5:48Yeah. Sometimes he goes and he just is like whips it out.
5:51Yeah. He reminds me of that, uh, Disney channel quarterback.
5:55Yeah. Yeah. Just like, yeah, I'm a quarterback. Because he had no room to throw.
5:59Yeah. It just, it, it just makes me think that this is a dude that could just ignore the fundamentals of footwork
6:06and playing the position and get by with the athleticism and big plays.
6:10And then you get to the NFL and these things matter, right?
6:14Like how long you're holding onto the football or the decisions you're making.
6:18I don't know. He's not good. And we were like, what are they going to do?
6:23Like at some point, like you're going to go, what, this is year three or two.
6:29I mean? Yeah. So, well, they're not going to win games.
6:32The decision. If they win no games and you have the number one through five pick and there's, there's a bunch of quarterbacks coming out.
6:40One. I mean, I think if you're at one or two, it becomes a very difficult conversation.
6:45I think at one or two, it becomes a very easy conversation to have.
6:50I think at five, it becomes difficult. If they're at one or two and they're the worst or second worst team and
6:57there are really good quarterbacks available to take, you have to move on from game more.
7:02And you've gotten two years of winlessness. Yeah. You're not being like, oh, I know we, there, there's that great quarterback out
7:09there, but we're sticking with the guy who got us the number one pick.
7:13Cardinals, the one good thing they've ever done is move on quick from Josh Rosen.
7:18When Kyler was on the table, bears did it with Justin Fields.
7:22That was one year. Yeah, no, I was one year, but I don't know.
7:26Sometimes a guy seems so far from redeemable. I rooting for Cam Ward to be awesome if he became a great quarterback,
7:33but the gap between now to like top 20.
7:36Bryce Young took a long time and he looks benched at not just like got in.
7:41Yeah. He got straight benched and now he looks like he's finally figured it out.
7:46He's having so much fun. Yeah. He's, he is enjoyable to watch.
7:50He's happy out there and he's playing some great ball and whoo.
7:54That a roll. Goodness. This is, we had multiple examples this week of teams being like, no, I'm just going to throw it at that guy.
8:02Every play. Every play. And he, Liam. Yeah. Like just every play.
8:06And you knew it. And then there were plays where Ted Arroa didn't catch the ball and they're, they're watching the film
8:13and he's like, yeah, he's open again. He's open again.
8:16He's a, you cannot cover the best players. And how did it work for those teams?
8:21It's like, Oh, the Panthers scored a lot of points in one and a very important.
8:26Tough matchup. Oh, the Cowboys scored a lot of points in one and a very tough matchup.
8:31Just keep throwing to the best dude. Yeah. The, I would have to go back and watch the Browns video from last
8:38week where they just didn't throw the ball at McMillan.
8:42I don't know if it was, he wasn't getting open in that particular game.
8:46I don't remember off the top of my head or we had to come in here.
8:51Like he's good, right? Yeah. We got in here.
8:54We're like without Coker, like what? He's good, right?
8:57Like he's a rookie. Oh yeah. He's good. And that last, one of those last first downs, that sideline catch.
9:03Oh my gosh. He was awesome last night. All right.
9:06Let's talk some news. News and notes from around the league.
9:10We had already reported. I believe that Jadarian price was not, we had not.
9:14So Jadarian price went to IR. I swear we talked about that.
9:18No, we knew he was going to be out, but then over the weekend it's upgraded to out for four.
9:25I'm just remembering you talking on Sunday. Yes. Joe for four sounds great compared to Jordan Tyson.
9:30Does it? Yeah. He's the latest. Shefter was saying, yeah, unlikely to return until week seven at the early.
9:36You, you, you, right. That's three. Well, three from now.
9:39Some of us have been holding on to them.
9:42But price is four plus from now. Yeah. But you, you got fuzzy man.
9:46We once. The point is the past is the past point is the future.
9:51Jadarian price. You assume you're getting four, right? Jadarian price has to be out at least four, but that doesn't guarantee for Jadarian price being out.
9:59Why? Just bailing you out right now. I will.
10:02I will happily playing him. I'd love to be wrong about Jordan Tyson participating in a fantasy meaningful way this year.
10:09I don't see it. I haven't seen it once.
10:12I didn't. I have no thoughts that he's going to come back and go from hamstring to fantasy starter.
10:18You guys think he will do that. And I'm happy to be wrong on that.
10:22I just don't like, I never believed he was coming back quickly because this hamstring injury from ASU, he heard it at ASU who's never back that quick.
10:31He heard it in the off season. He wasn't back that quick.
10:35Now they're saying week seven at the earliest, which means let's really think about that.
10:40Let's say he's back in week seven or eight.
10:43What's the snap count? How long does it take to increment it?
10:47It'll take a couple of weeks. Are you ever going to build an offense around Jordan Tyson with the hamstring?
10:53Not built around him. So, I mean, like, I mean, Vela is a good player.
10:58Juwanson is a good player. I'm not saying Tyson can't get involved here and there.
11:02I just don't know if predictability. Maybe he's a fantasy playoff winner, but because they have so many snaps, they're the opposite of the Jets.
11:10Goodness. The Jets had fewer plays. New York. What was that?
11:14The Bears had first downs. What was that all about?
11:1789 to 35 or something like that? Yeah. The Jets are playing way too slow.
11:22That makes it impossible for, I mean, Garrett Wilson ended up off a week.
11:26It looks like they want to play slower. Like when you watch them, they're like, how can we slow this down?
11:33How can we have fewer plays? And part of me actually does understand that.
11:37Like if you are a bad team, slowing it down, having less plays, less total points on the board, that can work.
11:44I mean, it's worked a couple times, but at the same time, you also have to stop the other team and you didn't do that.
11:52I mean, it works on an isolated matchup basis when you're playing, you know, a high flying offense to try to slow the game down.
12:00That worked against the Chiefs a lot when they were a super, but as a strategy in general, I'm not seeing a lot of slow teams having success.
12:09No, I think that's very old school. And I think it actually like the way that you can win, you know, and
12:16it just math analytically of like your probability. I feel like when you slow it down, you're bringing your window down.
12:23Oh, how are you going? Janarian Price to IR.
12:26Jack Charbonnet's practice window opened and the team is apparently working out Joe Mixon who Jay Glazer reported is visiting Seattle.
12:32There was a big hype video that Joe Mixon released over the weekend that he finishes by saying, I'm back.
12:39I'm back. I love the video that he has made.
12:42It put it. He's like, what happened to Joe Mixon?
12:45He had all the notes. Tell us. Yeah. Where, where have you been?
12:49He had all the news clips of like, Mixon's not coming back.
12:53And what's wrong with Joe Mixon? You know, when that was happening, you could have been like, Hey guys, it's Joe Mixon here.
13:00I don't think he wanted to say, Hey, I went to an alternative healing facility and injured my foot.
13:06I think that's what happened. Maybe Jordan Tyson. We said it week seven at the earliest.
13:11We'll see when they activate him. Cause he needs to be having, he needs his practice window open.
13:17Yes. Which hasn't happened yet. Lamar Jackson on a stupid play.
13:21I mean, it's just a normal play. I don't think there was anything wrong with it, but it sucked.
13:27He got tackled in his ankle. It felt like he didn't make a decision fast enough.
13:32I'm going to get my whining out of the way.
13:35Okay. So we had a very good week with our fantasy face off on Friday.
13:40Mike went four for four. Yeah, baby. I went three for four.
13:43I gotta be safe. Right? I went four for four in a way that DJ Moore got forgiven.
13:49I go in three for three. Basically DJ. Yeah.
13:52You hit a hundred percent. We're sitting here and Jason had gone the, uh, the less than 27 pass attempts for Lamar Jackson.
13:59Lamar had 20 first half pass attempts. I'm like, I'm good.
14:03Oh, by the way, the one I missed was 41 yards for Tyler Warren.
14:07And he had four. I needed 45. He got 41.
14:10So I missed that one. I suck. Jason ends up with DJ Moore going out, which we don't know.
14:16We think Moore would have gotten there. He probably would have.
14:20But also if he went out a minute late, like one minute later, he goes out in the second half.
14:26So I'm the shame at three for four. It doesn't, but price picks gives you forgiveness if they, if your guys go
14:33out in the first half and he did so.
14:36So, but it sucked for Lamar managers and now he's going to have an MRI.
14:41There's talk about, he was in a walking boot.
14:44They talked about him having a high ankle. Yeah.
14:47I was going to say, Betts, Betts says he thinks it's a high ankle sprain, which that, that is the worst for Lamar.
14:54It's not good for Zay. Well, no, but I'm saying like, we're back.
14:58We've seen what happens with Lamar Jackson. Oh, with limited mobility.
15:02When he's fully healthy, he's, he is sensational. It's very difficult for a defense to, to stop him at all.
15:08You just got to slow him down. He's been so good this year.
15:12He's been great. And then we have seen what happens to Lamar Jackson when his legs don't work and it sucks.
15:19Marcus Mariota. This sucked London, dude, the London game.
15:22Mariota goes out. Zach Galifianakis takes over. And, uh, now Jaden Daniels is supposed to be back in week five, but this was devastating for the offense.
15:30Now, Galifianakis threw the ball way, way down the field.
15:33What is this actually? I'm not going to pronounce his real name.
15:37Well, it's very easy for me to say Galifianakis.
15:40I know, but they actually like, he played well.
15:43I will call him the Bok of a bomber.
15:46I did see that people. I'm willing to do that.
15:49Is that an actual name? I saw people talking about it.
15:52Yeah. That's a nickname. Go ahead and go ahead and read it, Mike.
15:57Let me hear his name. I'm trying to. Kalikai Laka.
16:00No, we can do it. That's the name. Kalikamanis.
16:03Giannis Antetokounmpo is his name. Kalikamanis. Manis? Kalikamanis? You confidence to.
16:06Yeah. I mean. Kalikamanis. Oh, man. Kalikamanis. I just want to shout out this guy who, from like.
16:12On a bride. On a Christmas day. We see quarterbacks thrown into games, right?
16:16That like Jalen Daniels. That did not look like an NFL quarterback for Tampa Bay.
16:21Right. He had his moment. Jalen Hurts. Doesn't look like an NFL quarterback.
16:25We see these guys get thrown into action. Nobody has turned on Jalen Hurts.
16:30Jason has been the Jalen Hurts defender for 10 years.
16:33This is what happens when you defend, when you take all the arrows for that guy.
16:38Yeah. And then he reveals himself to suck. Jason, he's stepping out of the way and the arrows are going straight to Jalen.
16:45I'm not taking him anymore. I mean, look, I got a lot of W's with Hurts.
16:50You did? I won my championship in League of Record with Hurts because people didn't respect him enough.
16:56He's done. He has fulfilled everyone's prophecy of how bad he was going to be.
17:01I mean, it's just old free. Jason is so.
17:04He's wildly bad. Well, I mean, he has scored.
17:06Oh, gosh. He threw a pick in the end zone that turned into a touchdown.
17:117.9 fantasy points the last two weeks. He was under 100 yards, right?
17:15100 passing yards. Was he? I got you right here.
17:19He finished 12 for 27, 44% completion for 93 yards.
17:22He ran for 18, though, Mike, and he also fumbled.
17:25And he got bailed out in the end zone by Cooper.
17:28Yeah, by Cooper. We've already had to have, oh my gosh, yeah, he threw a pick there.
17:34Cooper's a man in the end zone, though. That guy owns the painted area.
17:38You have to have the same exact conversation about Jalen Hurts right now that you had about Drake May a week ago,
17:45which is you drafted a certain quarterback at a certain spot to be your starter.
17:50But, I mean, the last three weeks for Jalen Hurts, he's put up 16, 12, and 13 fantasy points.
17:56You have now taken Devontae Smith out of the equation.
17:59Saquon Barkley was injured in this game. That's another piece of news.
18:03They don't have Dallas Goddard in the offense. I don't think that's the big problem.
18:08Well, I mean, it's a piece of the big problem.
18:11Sure, I just don't. So are you saying it's Hurts?
18:14Oh, yeah. Yeah. Okay. All right. Mekhi Lemon is...
18:17He also didn't have his true number one wide receiver in this game.
18:21Think about a game last year. Just put it this way.
18:25Right. Think about, you had an Eagles game last year, and let's say you said, all right, Jalen Hurts, you have no A.J.
18:32Brown, because that's still an absence to me. I'm calling it an absence until it's not.
18:37You get no A.J. Brown, no Devontae Smith, no Saquon Barkley, no Dallas Goddard.
18:41Now go out there and win. Yeah. No, it's...
18:44It's not easy. It's not easy. I'm defending him?
18:47What am I doing? No, no, you can defend it, but then you could say, to be under 100 passing yards is...
18:54Like, that's shameful. The NFL researcher... And they almost won, dude.
18:58They almost won that game. The NFL researcher had this nice find.
19:01Fewest yards per drop back in a game over the last two seasons with a minimum of 30 drop backs.
19:08Cam Ward's first rookie start. Braylon Allen... I don't want to ever hear that.
19:12In week 18 of 2025, Trey Lance... Did you say Braylon Allen?
19:16I did. I'm sorry, Brandon Allen. That makes far more sense.
19:20Trey Lance and then Jalen Hurts as the fourth worst.
19:232.19 yards per drop back. Nice. Yeah, it was an embarrassment.
19:26Saquon left in the first quarter with a hamstring injury, didn't return.
19:30Yeah. Tank Bigsby got hurt and left. He'll be part of the...
19:34We'll be talking waivers tomorrow. Yeah, well, we need to find out what happened to Tank.
19:39Oh, by the way, Lane Johnson also went out.
19:42Didn't play in the game. DJ Moore aggravated the shoulder injury.
19:45Not considered a long-term issue. This was... I thought I was...
19:49The first one that wasn't a long-term issue, he hurt it again?
19:53I thought we were going to get the same thing with Malik Nabors.
19:57He went down hard. Yes, he did. And then he came back and played on it.
20:02Different injections, I guess, on those sidelines. Maybe. Jamar Chase left with a concussion.
20:06Second major injury, maybe third, that we've had with a face mask, like instigating it.
20:11Devon Achan tore his ACL after a face mask penalty.
20:14Jamar Chase ends up getting overexposed to basically a double hit.
20:18Yeah. Hit to the head, hit to the ground.
20:21But they got a 15-yard penalty, though. And Chase never played again, and that was helpful for them.
20:26Tee Higgins left early with a groin injury. I thought he came back.
20:30So there was a... He did, but then they reported that, I think on one of the last plays of the game, it was...
20:38I saw it reported as adductor. Yes. And so I think that's what we're talking about here.
20:43Rashi Rice, hamstring injury. That one... That looks like it'll be multi-week.
20:47If you can visually see when a player... Like, if you didn't see the play, Rashi Rice had a free first down.
20:54Wide open. All he had to do is go straight at a medium base.
20:59Yeah, for three yards. He doesn't even have to sprint.
21:02A light hop. He would get there. Yeah, you could do...
21:05He could have done it with one leg. Yes.
21:08He absolutely could have got that. And then he pulls...
21:11Something happens with the legs. He pulls up and he goes...
21:15Goes right out of bounds and says, I don't want none of that.
21:19That was a fun game. Oh, the Chiefs game?
21:22That was a fun game. It was. So, I mean, when that happens, it certainly seems like he will miss a few weeks.
21:29Tyquan Thornton. Oh, man. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.
21:33Yes, it is. Because he caught an amazing downfield pass.
21:36Yes. Then got up and tried to stand. And there was...
21:39There was no footsie. That clip is not for the queasy.
21:43No. If you can't handle bodily injury, do not watch that one.
21:47It's dislocated. I'll give you the headline. I'm going to describe it to you.
21:51His leg was facing the wrong direction. But he didn't...
21:54It really is. But he didn't notice. His foot was...
21:57Yeah, his foot was. And Tyree Kill, his agent came out and said he expects Tyree Kill to sign with a team in the next few days.
22:06Interesting timing there. I mean, I brought that up like a month ago.
22:10Yes. I brought it up on the Waver Wire show.
22:13You guys shut me down. Yes, I did. Because I firmly believe that.
22:17Except the Chiefs have now lost two starting wide receivers.
22:21Yeah, if you go listen to that, we didn't...
22:24We shut it down for that week. But we said, you know, in a few weeks we would be totally fine with it.
22:31I think that might... We just didn't know. It might accelerate now.
22:35It might have been fast forwarded by two wide receiver injuries.
22:38Yes. But I don't... He said November. Like in terms of being a ready to play football.
22:44So this is a tough one, I think, in fantasy even now in the Waver Wire.
22:49Because if you add Tyree Kill, like you don't get it.
22:52He's not on injury reserve. Like he's not an out.
22:55Right. So you're going to end up with Tyreek on your bench, but his actual ramp up to playing football could be in the mid to late November.
23:04It would just... I think it'll be a tough call on Fab and stuff like that.
23:09I agree. And what does he have left coming off of the injury and the speed and stuff?
23:15So that'll be a discussion for tomorrow. Lad McConkie aggravated his foot injury.
23:19Cool. So the final nail in the four horse coffin, whatever...
23:23I don't even know what I'm saying. Yeah, but there's so many nails in Lad.
23:27I mean, you just keep getting another... You keep being like, oh, okay.
23:32Stop trying to come back! He's... I won't have to hurt you again!
23:36He is... Yeah, Lad, take it easy. Take a rest.
23:39I mean, this is a nightmare. Andy Holloway's coming for you.
23:42Oh, gosh. I don't think I've ever actually been the Reaper for Halloween, but this year feels like the right year for that.
23:50Yeah. Matt Collins left early with a calf injury.
23:52Pat Bryant carted off with a right ankle injury.
23:55That was a bummer. I mean, his was like the exact same thing as the...
24:00It's not the same injury, but the same mechanism as Thornton where the player lands right on their ankle.
24:06I won't say if it was... A hip drop?
24:09A hip drop or not. I'm sure it was.
24:12But it probably was. Those ankles do not survive hip drops.
24:15Nope. All right. By the way, the Chargers lost again and they lost Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater.
24:21Dude, I mean, this is the collapse of collapses.
24:24I've never seen something as disgusting as what has happened to the Chargers and...
24:28They almost battled back in that game. They did.
24:3130 to 13 went to 30 to 23 at the ball.
24:35But I mean, don't worry. Jim Harbaugh said Mike McDaniel's job is safe.
24:39Yeah. Great. He should have said all of our jobs are at risk at any moment.
24:44And Herbert also... Oh gosh, the first half. Oh, I was going to say it was an interesting game and from the
24:51aspect of Herbert through at least two, I think maybe it was just two like horrifically bad interceptions.
24:57Yeah, right to the defender. Where it was like, man, I can't wait for the Herbros to figure out who to blame for this one.
25:05And he's like, where it's clearly Herbert. But then he did.
25:08He battled back and he got... I mean, his core was being shooketh.
25:12He was just getting beat up. But it was his fault that they were in this position.
25:18And then he took the pain and then they still didn't win.
25:21No. No. Still didn't win is the nickname for that franchise.
25:25Yeah. We did all we could. We still didn't win.
25:28And there's some 0-4 teams that are... I mean, they're not the only one.
25:33Houston? Oh man. We have a problem. Nice. How great would it be if like Houston played the Chargers this week?
25:39That would just be... They do in a couple weeks.
25:42I hope they're both winless. Yeah, they do play in a couple weeks.
25:47And don't worry. Chargers will lose that game. We'll take a break.
25:50We'll talk studs and duds. This week's Fantasy Stud Muffins.
25:54Cool. Cool, cool, cool, cool. Drake May was the number one quarterback on the week.
25:58Yeah, yeah, yeah. Have you ever been in a guillotine league where you've just been barely surviving because Drake May is ruining
26:05every single week and you're like, I'm not doing this again against the Bills.
26:10I'll play Marcus Mariota. Is that what you did?
26:13Oh yeah. Chop, chop. Yep. See you later. So...
26:15So Drake May's just on the bench there. I mean, I will say this.
26:20The top scorers... The waivers, you mean. He will be on the waivers tomorrow.
26:24Yeah. Yeah, Mike's getting chopped. The top scorers at quarterback were...
26:28I mean, there weren't any prolific names this week.
26:31It was actually really low. Yeah. I mean, Burrow did not have a great game.
26:35No. But he was number two. And then Stroud, Cousins and Rodgers.
26:39So, you know, Cousins once again... Get this guy three or four more tight ends and you've got yourself a perfect offense.
26:46I thought they were gonna win that game, dude.
26:49You're almost upset that... I mean, they... What was the line?
26:53The line, I believe, was four and a half.
26:55Oh, then they covered. And it was a three point...
26:59Yeah, they did. They covered. Yeah. That game was awesome.
27:02You see Kubiak at halftime though. It was 13-10.
27:05And they're interviewing him off, you know, what's going on?
27:08What do you need to do? Blah, blah, blah.
27:11He goes, we're winning and we're gonna win the game.
27:14Oh, I love that. Good. And they didn't. Drake May...
27:17Yeah, this was great. Efton Chisholm. Oh, what a catch.
27:20You saved the day. Yes. Did you have a DB on Buffalo?
27:24I did not. Oh, he wasn't very respectful. Oh, no.
27:27No, it was like, yeah, some practice squad guy came up here and made one good catch and we'll never hear from him again.
27:35Don't worry about it. We'll be better next week.
27:38We gotta win. It was crazy. It was crazy.
27:41It was crazy. Why? He was mad. Yeah, but...
27:43He was putting on a huge diamond necklace when he was saying it, too.
27:48I mean, just feel like, I got got. It was Gardner Johnson.
27:52Yeah. I got got. Yeah, he's... It happens to everyone gets got.
27:56Yeah, he's like, yeah, he's a call up. He made one good play.
28:00He'll never do it again. It doesn't matter. You'll never hear of him again.
28:04Goodbye. Okay. He was mad. I think he's gonna stay called up after that game.
28:09Yeah. Uh, Kirk Cousins tied for the league lead in 11 passing touchdowns.
28:13Do you now... 51... 52 passing attempts, 365, against the Chiefs.
28:16Do you now look at Cousins in a different light after four weeks?
28:21I mean... We definitely should. Four weeks of like...
28:23We definitely should. I mean, he's a quarterback 10, 12, and three the last three weeks.
28:29I'm not saying an every week start. I'm saying we're about to enter bye weeks next week.
28:34I think in the right matchup, you'd be okay.
28:37So for instance, two weeks from now against Buffalo at home, I would expect him to have a very good fantasy...
28:43Bunch of pass attempts. Yeah. A bunch of pass attempts, bunch of yards, passing touchdowns.
28:48But because he gives you nothing on the ground, like even what you just said, he's leading the league tied in passing touchdowns.
28:56And most of these good weeks, like this one was better, but most of the good weeks are not fantastic.
29:02You know, it's like, oh, you're the quarterback 11.
29:05It's like, okay, great. You're a top 12 guy, but you're not winning a week with him.
29:10Let's talk about this guy because the Texans quarterback, CJ Stroud, is currently on pace.
29:15You ready for this? Thank you, David Montgomery, for doing this.
29:18He's on pace for 641 pass attempts. That's a lot.
29:224,800 yards. That is a lot. And 51 sacks.
29:24Yeah. This is called we can't run the ball at all.
29:28I feel like he's played well and they can't run it.
29:31I mean, it's... They can't run and their defense, which the, to be fair, the defense looked like the Cowboys were getting shut down in the first half.
29:40Dak would take his drop back and look around and look around and look around and there was nothing there.
29:47And then they went into operation, throw to CeeDee Lamb.
29:50Don't look around. Just look in one spot. One spot and throw it there.
29:54And somehow, that was the solution because the game exploded over the second half.
29:59Yeah. The Texans defense has not been anywhere near as good as it was last year.
30:04I still question the fact that they played Josh Allen and Buffalo and Joe Burrow and Cincinnati and Dak and Dallas.
30:11It's like, they have been tested. They've failed. But, you know, they get Cam Ward this week.
30:16So... Oh! There you go. Off the schneid. Yep.
30:19Well, let's talk about Jameis because Jameis did play Arizona.
30:22He did throw some nasty interceptions. But he was 250 and three and gave both Isaiah Likely and Malik Nabors a good
30:29game, which is the first time we've seen it from Jameis.
30:32That was encouraging. This was what we hoped for.
30:35Mike and I were talking about the fact that there was hope that the terrible Jameis we've seen of the previous two
30:42weeks, one was thrust in, not expected to start, looked bad.
30:46Against the Rams, who just made Jalen Hurts turn into a player that Jason has forever moved on from.
30:52And then the next week was a bad weather game where, you know, there just was no really throwing the ball.
30:58And so we were hoping that we could get back to the bad Jameis we enjoy, which is air it out, have
31:05a lot of success, throw some picks so they have to keep airing it out.
31:10Yeah, there's effective ball. Yeah, exactly. We love bad Jameis, but we don't want ineffective Jameis.
31:15Kyron, Kenneth Walker, Javante Williams again, Kyle Monunga's 30 carries, and he-man Ewell Wilson, top five running backs on the week.
31:22If you had a W in your last name, that was a good sign this week.
31:27Two Williams, a Walker, and a Wilson. The Kyron, you're like, yep, 13 targets.
31:32Kenneth Walker, I think, scored on two consecutive touches?
31:34Yes. If I- Yes, he did. He scored the touchdown, they got the ball back, and then he scored again.
31:41So in about- Yeah, it was really cool. About 15 seconds he put up, I don't know what, 14 or so fantasy points.
31:48Javante, this is just- Aren't you proud of me for getting ahead of the Kyron apology last week?
31:54Yeah. I mean, now I feel like in the clear.
31:57Yeah, what was Blake Corum's- Jason's arms are humongous in this graphic.
32:01Yeah, no, no, no. That's just my arms. So Kyron was five for 14.
32:05Whoa. Okay. So they just decided that we need to get Kyron going in this game.
32:10Wait, who was five for 14? Blake Corum. Oh, you said Kyron.
32:14Oh, I'm sorry. Blake Corum was. Javante- He keeps dropping the ball.
32:18They give him a few targets, he drops them early, and they move on, and they're like, we gotta win.
32:24I think it's also one of those, like, Kyron is their guy.
32:28Kyron is who they think in important situations, he's their best foot forward.
32:32They do want to give him rest, but this wasn't a game they could.
32:37They were down the entire game. You know, they looked terrible.
32:40They battled back and won. I think if they're in a matchup where they are, you know, significant favorites and they're having
32:47an easy game, you'll see a lot more Blake Corum.
32:50This was like, we need Kyron on the field.
32:53Spot on. I think, I'm gonna credit it to Josh Norris, because I can't remember who said it, but Is he the default credit?
33:01It could be. What if it was me? Yeah.
33:04No, my memory is he was the one who tweeted this.
33:07That's the way you said that. Yeah. Since I don't know who said something.
33:12Sorry, let me rephrase it. I'm pretty sure that Josh said this.
33:15Okay. He's like, here's the thing with Kyron. Either the Rams are ahead, and Kyron was a part of the reason they
33:22got ahead, or they're behind, and now it's just Kyron Williams.
33:26I mean, Matthew Stafford has been pretty bad. He's thrown interceptions and he's got more interceptions now than he had at the
33:33Thanksgiving break last year, which by the way, is not close to now.
33:37And he's not looked like the MVP of last year, which is hard to do.
33:42It's hard to repeat that kind of efficiency. I get confused by the offense sometimes because they do this thing where it's
33:49like very clear they're going to run the football.
33:52You notice what's going on. There'll be like two tight ends and like Devante is always on the sideline and they have
33:59one wide receiver out wide and then they run it every time.
34:02They might've saved their season with this game coming back against Philly.
34:06But yeah, Kyron, Ken Walker, Devante. Devante is just high scoring offense and sometimes he'll get touchdowns and this time he got them all.
34:14Kyle Mononga was 30 for one, 46 and two.
34:17DeAndre Swift did not touch the ball again after fumbling in the third quarter with 8.54 to go.
34:22He had two touchdowns called back, Swift did. Swift, yeah.
34:26I couldn't believe his stat line. He also was almost like we didn't know if he's going to play in this game due to a hamstring injury.
34:34I believe so. I can't remember what it was, but in the.
34:38He, so I'm not reading too much into the fumble necessarily.
34:42No. It could have been just like, Hey, he doesn't feel good.
34:45This is ineffective. And Mononga was on fire. He was.
34:49He also finished with a thumb injury. They had to announce it after the game.
34:53So we'll see what happens with Mononga. Hopefully it's not a Jordan Mason thumb injury.
34:58Right. We don't, we never want to take those.
35:01No. Lightly. No. If it's sore, it's probably shattered.
35:04Uh, I think there was, was it, uh, who's the defensive end for.
35:08The Ravens that they picked up. That was former Cincinnati.
35:11I don't know. I can't remember his name right now, but, uh, yeah.
35:15Yeah. Did you see he, he had a shattered finger in a bunch of places and they know he's playing, he can play with a cast though.
35:24All right. Chuba Hubbard, huge game 24, one 22 and two.
35:27He is getting every bit of all the work every week.
35:31Target the lions. Yeah. They're, they're not good. Yeah.
35:34They are defensive side. It is. Yeah. I mean, I think Gibbs literally could break.
35:38He, he could break the all time fantasy record because this team is not good enough on defense and they're not good.
35:45They're not going to win enough games where you're sitting them later in the season.
35:50Like they're going to have to fight tooth and nail.
35:53I don't know, man. Kenneth Walker is like, he's the story in terms of cause Jameer is doing what we drafted him to do, what we expected.
36:02He was the number one overall pick. Kenneth Walker is like, he was still drafted very high.
36:07So I'm not saying that, but he has been the story of how awesome he has been.
36:13I mean, do you want me to tell you his 32 points, 20 points, 20 points and 30 points for Kenneth Walker, RB two, two, six and one.
36:22He's not the running back one on the season.
36:24Yeah. Mike was looking at this up this morning and he just, how is that possible?
36:30He assumed Walker was the number one running back.
36:32He's like, wait, this gotta be wrong. How is he number two?
36:36Cause of Jameer Gibbs. Walker is on pace for 450 opportunities, 2,282 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns and 51 catches and eight receiving touchdowns.
36:44And he is a number two. Yeah, man. Imagine a team had both.
36:48That'd be insane. That would be crazy. Andy's league of record team.
36:52That would be so nuts. With Gibbs and Walker.
36:55And then the, uh, the number two wide receiver CD lamb and the number three wide receiver Amon and the number one quarterback, uh, Josh Allen.
37:03Thank goodness. It is crap. Got into the ends on this week.
37:07It's disgusting. Uh, Jonathan Taylor, uh, did not play as many snaps as he had in recent weeks.
37:12Goodson. No, we saw a lot of Seth McGowan.
37:15McGowan. Yeah. Goodson's on Dallas. Judd can only Gordon was him in this one.
37:20Only nine carries, but a hundred yards. How do we evaluate this performance?
37:24I mean, the way that you should, he was 10 times, maybe, maybe 50 times better than, than right.
37:30I mean, agreed, agreed, but Ollie Gordon is the one to, he was the one to get.
37:35Yes. That is completely Minnesota and had a great fantasy day.
37:39Nobody expected that. Right. I know what Mike's saying though.
37:42And there is context needed to the usage. It was, I believe it was about 70% of his fantasy points were on two touches.
37:50And so it's like, well, okay. So I'm moving, I just mean moving forward.
37:54You know, how do you feel about Ollie Gordon of knowing that that's in there?
37:59Not cause not every running back can do that.
38:02I mean, he, he, but on the other carries, it was like, I mean, the jail, the other Jalen Wright and other Ollie Gordon carries were awful.
38:10But the way you view it is when you have that kind of success, he's been a top 12 running back in fantasy for two straight weeks.
38:19You expect the team to prior, like he wasn't higher on the depth chart and he had this game.
38:25So they're going to give him more work if he has success.
38:29Here's here's, I believe that that is true. In the first half, you had Ollie Gordon play eight snaps to Jalen Wright's 10 snaps.
38:36So you actually had, yeah, kind of, it looked like maybe Jalen Wright is a guy.
38:41No one was the guy cause they both were basically not good in the second half of that game.
38:47Ollie Gordon was 14 snaps to Jalen Wright's two.
38:50They're like, Ollie Gordon is playing better. They made the shift.
38:54They were rewarded by Ollie Gordon's play. And part of the reason why you only get, you know, nine carries is because
39:01you don't get to have as many carries when you break off a 75 yard run or what it, you know, long
39:08runs is like, Oh yeah, you, Oh no. You could have had more carries along the way, but you got a ball in one.
39:15So I do think going forward, Ollie Gordon, it's still a bad team, but he looks like a good player.
39:2210 targets for RJ Harvey this week. I wanted to flag that.
39:26Yeah. With, uh, JK Dobbins has not looked good.
39:28And then it's not that Harvey's looked good on the ground.
39:32It's just Jonah Coleman's on IR and now you have Pat Bryant injured 10 targets.
39:37Like this is not foreign to a Sean Payton offense.
39:40This is normal for a Sean Payton offense. Pass the ball to your running backs, have them be, you know, escape artists
39:47out of the backfield and help your quarterback when he can't get it down the field.
39:52This is why we love Jonah Coleman. He's such a good pass catching running back.
39:57So sad that he's on IR, but yeah, you need to pay attention to RJ Harvey.
40:02They will continue to throw the ball there. Yeah.
40:05That's that. That was his secret power last year.
40:07I mean, he had 58 targets last year and caught 47 of them.
40:12Um, that's where it's tough. Cause it's like Coleman comes back.
40:15Harvey's going to get there down unless he's hurt.
40:18Chase Brown was terrible on the ground, but caught 11 passes, 10, nine for 10 on the ground, 11 for 71 through the air.
40:26But chase went down. You know what I mean?
40:28It was obvious what happened. And then Ashton Gentry got it done through the air.
40:33I love Ashton Gentry because by hook or by crook, he ends up okay.
40:38No matter what. I mean, he's, he's on pace.
40:41You know, the target pays for him. 102. Really?
40:43102 target pace, 1100 rushing yards. He's not been efficient with it.
40:47The best news. I think Leonard Baum got hurt.
40:50Ashton Gentry is that this is a team that looks like, I mean, it's too early in the season to know, but
40:57we have assumed the whole year at some point.
41:00That's the worst team of the, of the league in the league last year would not be a great team.
41:06There would not be a great team. And then, and then at some point you would transition to Mendoza.
41:12Yeah. There is now a realistic outlook where maybe Mendoza does get to red shirt the whole season, which I think would be great for him.
41:21I put that at 95%. It would also be great for Ashton Gentry because when Mendoza comes in, he's the offense is
41:28going to slow down a little bit. He's not going to target Ashton Gentry quite as much as Kirk Cousins is.
41:34So if Kirk can keep the job and you know, if you've got Gentry keep rooting for the Raiders to be in
41:41these games and win games and keep those off.
41:44Yeah. Injury to Kirk is the more likely way that switches, I think.
41:48Yeah. But, uh, the top three wide receiver scores outperformed any week that they had last year for the entire season.
41:55Tatt McMillan, 38 points. CD lamb, 32 points. It's very weird to get 32.8 points with one touchdown, by the way.
42:02Yeah. 17 receptions. We'll do that. Nico Collins. Nico.
42:04Big game on the return. Pour one out for Tyquan Thornton.
42:08Yeah. Wide receiver four on the year. On the week.
42:11I was like, sorry, he's out probably for the year.
42:14We'll see. You put a Nakuha back in business with 23 fantasy points.
42:18Yeah. And it was a down week for, uh, Devante Adams as a result who dropped the touchdown, but Adams had his worst year or worst.
42:27Okay. Weeks years. What are they? You guys talk.
42:29Uh, well, I know who doesn't listen to our show and that's Mark Ingram.
42:34Uh, Mark Ingram went on a tirade on, uh, X talking about how he hates fantasy.
42:39He's into fantasy now. And he clarified that it was because he's got Ted O'Rolle McMillan on his bench.
42:45It's very sad. That's a, it's a strange decision there, Mark.
42:49Yeah. Uh, Jason started the week. Yes, sir. Nice.
42:51And the start of the week puts up the greatest game of his career.
42:56That's helpful. That's helpful. So Romeo Dobbs into the end zone, two touchdowns.
43:00Keon Coleman keeps looking good guys. Six for one 16.
43:03Yeah. I didn't, I'm looking, I didn't realize CD lamb crossed all the way to 21 targets.
43:09Yes. It's just reminds me of the Brandon Marshall days.
43:12Uh, that's the one that I remember having with Jay Cuddy and Fitzpatrick.
43:16Yeah. He had a couple of games where like he was in the high twenties, but yeah, Romeo Dobbs, you know, pay attention here.
43:23If he's on waiver wires, he might be, you have an injury to Mac Collins.
43:28Now. So Romeo Dobbs is looking pretty spicy until AJ Brown gets back.
43:32I'm going to make a prediction right now. I think AJ Brown plays before Jordan Tyson plays.
43:38Okay. So I think that's going to happen this year.
43:41Carnell Tate, Malik neighbors, some other guys getting it done.
43:44Darius Cooper, red zone, red zone reindeer. What was that?
43:47That was Kyle Rudolph back in the day. What?
43:50Five receptions for Darius Cooper on the season. Three have been four touchdowns.
43:54Yeah. It's tough. There are zombies trying to break into our building right now.
43:59I don't think. Did you guys hear that? I did.
44:02That is a zombie apocalypse. Should we be concerned?
44:05That is almost a hundred percent a zombie apocalypse.
44:08It is probable, but I don't think we should be concerned.
44:11That door locks. Is that door? Yeah, it's locked.
44:14Matt's slow. They'll get him first. Oh, that's true.
44:17They'll eat. That's true. We watched him in a race and he was so much slower than I thought he'd be.
44:24You cool if they eat you first for us?
44:26No, not really. I could beat you in a race too.
44:30I still gave Josh way too much grace on that race.
44:33I was new. I was taking it easy on him.
44:37Uh-huh. We didn't even bring up that it was Papa Josh that beat you.
44:41We left that one out and you're like, yeah, just let the world know that Papa Josh.
44:46I wanted to take it easy. Yeah. Baloney. I heard it all.
44:50He wanted to annihilate. The shoes. He didn't have the right shoes.
44:54Something else happened. Papa Josh was in his old man jeans.
44:58Papa Josh doesn't have one of his ACLs. That's true.
45:01If you put an old man in a track suit, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't beat him.
45:06You know what I mean? You should have won.
45:09But what if you put him in old man jeans?
45:12Yeah. He ran in old man jeans. And I do mean old man jeans.
45:17Like these things are so- You at your age in hiking boots.
45:21Yes. Versus Josh- Maybe high heels. Josh could be in the most aerodynamic- What's the age gap?
45:26Could you be his father? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Amazing.
45:29Brother. Good time for a break. We'll be right back.
45:32We did get news that Rashawn Slater, it's a high ankle sprain and I'll miss a lot of time.
45:38For the chargers. For the chargers. Just their tackle.
45:41I would say that sucks. I was like, I want to be like, oh man, that's terrible.
45:46Their offensive line has been bad. It doesn't matter.
45:49I mean, just- Who are you more embittered towards right now?
45:53Point that team into the sun. Definitely the chargers.
45:56Herbert himself or Jalen Hurts himself? Oh, just the men.
45:59Yeah. Just the men, yes. It would be Jalen Hurts by himself because I do think there's a lot to blame with Herbert.
46:06Herbert deserves blame, but McDaniel, I'm mad at him.
46:09The offensive line, I'm mad at them. I'm not really mad at anyone else.
46:13Oh, Harbaugh, I'm mad at him. Okay, good. There's, I just didn't want to go on forever.
46:19Adam Gaze. There's really no one I'm mad at.
46:22Well, I guess a little Sean Mannion. I'm disappointed in Sean Mannion over for Philly, but it's Jalen Hurts.
46:28Jalen Hurts completed 12 passes. Are we ready? CeeD Lamb had 21 targets.
46:32Are we ready for the TJ Hawkinson return to glory?
46:35Dude, I brought him- 18 fantasy points, 13 catches.
46:38That is crazy. I brought him up last week in one of our ridiculous start-sit questions because he had been in a 19% target show.
46:46Well, and no Jefferson. And no Jefferson. And TJ Hawkinson, also 13 for 119.
46:50On 13 targets? And denied a touchdown. A bank loan.
46:53Like he did the human torch. No, he did the NFL move of, he could have scored, he could have ran it up.
47:01Oh, that's right. But they were, but Miami was at a timeout.
47:05So he just went down on the one to like guarantee the victory over personal glory.
47:10Uh, Kyler Murray sucks. Dude. Thank you for saying it like that.
47:13The menace, like this was, I think Hawkins- But, but, but Mike?
47:17Yeah. No, they're four and oh. They are four and oh.
47:21They beat the Dolphins. They have like, I don't- With 15 points.
47:25Kyle, what are the stats about like not scoring touchdowns?
47:28It's the first time. I mean, they have two wins out of their four that are no touchdown scored.
47:34No offensive touchdown. The offense is horrible. It's so disgusting.
47:37It's so disgusting. But in the meantime, because of how disgusting it is, Hawkinson will just get targets.
47:43Yeah. And certainly while- I can't, I can't even dunk on Hawkinson.
47:47He played well. Yeah. And I would guess, we don't know for sure what's going on with Justin Jefferson, if he's back this week or not.
47:55He very well might be. However, they do have a bye the following week.
47:59So if they can get away with not having Jefferson out there for week five against the New Orleans Saints, TJ Hawkinson
48:06should be a great play for at least one more week.
48:10Everybody click the drop button on Kyler this week.
48:13Because if you play Tampa and Miami in their defenses and you can't score 12 fantasy points in either game, ew.
48:19Dude. I mean, maybe Jefferson will help him. Please, get Minnesota a quarterback.
48:23They have one. This is- Carson Wentz is fine.
48:26Carson Wentz is fine for fantasy purposes. He's not fine for the Minnesota Vikings.
48:31This is a team that should be hotly talked about of, this is a Super Bowl contending team.
48:36And yet, I don't- they're at 4-0 and people are like, ah, should- you think the Vikings have won the Super Bowl?
48:43No. No, I don't. So what's wild is I'm like, there's part of me like, why do the Cardinals have Jacoby Brissette?
48:50It's like, Jacoby Brissette is 2-14 with the Cardinals.
48:53They never win. I think he's a better quarterback from Minnesota than Kyler would be.
48:58Probably. Sam Laporta, big week. Brock Bowers, of course.
49:01You know, it was Michael Mayer and then it was not.
49:04It was Brock Bowers. George Kittle, the machine. And look at us!
49:08Tucker Craft, climbing into the top five. He even dropped a touchdown.
49:12He should have had two touchdowns. You like the targets.
49:15But the drop was on one of the easiest touchdowns you've ever seen.
49:19That is correct. It was just- it floated. Just a gentle butterfly kiss.
49:23All he had to do was accept it. It was so- And he's like, I don't want it!
49:29I mean, I still try to- It was so bad!
49:32I try to give Tucker Craft a little bit of a pass because he missed with the ACL and it's coming back to form.
49:40Yeah. They gave him arthritis. They did give him a little bit of a pass on that one and it was easy.
49:47It was funny because Mike and I were playing each other this week and like, I obviously ended up running away with it.
49:54Yes. But the first half of my games were atrocious.
49:57They were just the worst. And back- I just got the second half continued to be atrocious.
50:03You had Zay Flowers. Yes. You just had the second half.
50:06But Tucker Craft and Devontae Adams dropped touchdowns simultaneously on two different screens while Zay Flowers is fingertip catching everything.
50:13Dude. Oh man, he's so good. He's so good.
50:16Oh, he's so fun. It's scary how good he is.
50:19Yeah, well, now his quarterback got a problem. Still got a pro bowler in there.
50:23Snoop Dogg. That joke will keep giving forever. Whenever he starts?
50:27Yeah. That one and Shadur. That's pro bowlers. Oh, I forgot that Shadur was a pro bowler.
50:32That's right. He got rid of the pro bowl.
50:35Like, Shadur is the reason that they got rid of the pro bowl.
50:39I want to call attention to one more tight end.
50:43Brenton Strange. Yep. Target share in weeks one and two for Brenton Strange.
50:4710%. Target shares in week three and four. 26%.
50:5026%. So, his receiving yardage and stuff has been going up.
50:53More involved. They've been doing a lot more 12.
50:56And we'll say the Bengals. Yeah. Like, you can't.
50:59So, seven for 95 against the Bengals. Just don't get overexcited because over the last year, that's just what people do.
51:05Years. Except for a fryer muth two weeks ago.
51:08Yeah. And I don't think Parker Washington's only getting three targets regularly.
51:12Yeah, Parker. Oh. People tried really hard to give me some Parker Washington bad puns this week and they weren't good enough to make the show.
51:20But they wanted to share their sadness. I don't need.
51:24Parker. Washed. Yeah. Washed. Washed was one of them.
51:26Yeah. But he's not. That's all right. He'll be fine.
51:30Don't worry about it. Oh, Barfer Washington from Papa Josh?
51:33Honestly, that would have been good. Parked Washington? Okay.
51:36That's not bad either. Our team is good. Our team is good.
51:39Do we need to do this by ourselves? Guys, this is off the top of our heads.
51:45This is just. Seconds. Seconds. I mean. We are.
51:48This is kind of what we do. It is the only thing we do.
51:5220% analysis. 80% stupid jokes. Martha Washington. Martha Washington.
51:55Okay. They can't all be winners. I mean, that's a little bit.
51:59Why you gotta bring Martha into this? That's a historical.
52:02She was a saint. That's a historical. Maybe. I don't know.
52:05Goldmine of a joke. Well done. Let's get into the duds.
52:09Pooped in his big boy pants. Thank you for setting the tone for the duds, Kyle.
52:14Martha Washington. Uh, Matthew Stafford. No touchdowns in this one.
52:17Two picks. Ew. Uh, Jalen Hurts. Justin Herbert. How about T-Law?
52:21Trevor Lawrence against Cincinnati. That whole game was a big time bummer.
52:25That was. It was not fun to watch. It was one of the 50 plus over unders and it, it didn't deliver.
52:31How do you feel? So it's really surprising, right?
52:34You would expect a shootout in that game. Um, obviously very disappointing fantasy, uh, output, but now you've got Philadelphia who just
52:41shut down Matthew Stafford and Houston who maybe gets it together, uh, by then.
52:46And then a bi-week. So the next three weeks, how are you feeling about Trevor Lawrence?
52:51Are you still fine believing that we'll, we'll see what we saw the first three weeks more out of him or are you hesitating with these matches?
52:59That's fair. I think against Philly, I'll, he'll be like a lower, he'll still be a QB one, but lower in Houston.
53:06It, uh, I'm not worried about Houston until they actually can prove it.
53:11Do we, do we actually have to think about Cincinnati as a good defense?
53:15I wonder, man. I mean, they, yes. Four sacks in three of their four games.
53:20They, they're right there. Good teams don't look good against them.
53:23Like the, the Bengals were without Jamar for basically the whole game.
53:27They were trailing like the Bengals had a shot.
53:30The defense could have won them another game. The Bengals had a shot to steal the win because of the defense.
53:37Yeah. And they play Miami next week, guys. Cincinnati plays Miami.
53:40Nice. Bo Nix. Uh, here we are back to, back to Bo.
53:44Two completions, 10 yards down the field. Huh? Because ADOT was 5.3 yards.
53:48Uh, hello, the Harvey check downs. Yeah. Yeah. I also.
53:51So you get people to turn on you. Yeah.
53:54When you, when you put out an offense that is just disgusting and boring to watch, the, the public doesn't like it.
54:01Public being me. There are two offenses right now where I, there's just a position you don't want to be in.
54:08Maybe it will go three with the Eagles, but like David, well not David Blau, um, Davis Webb, right?
54:14He takes, you've got like this legendary play caller.
54:17Who's your head coach. And he's like, you do it and let's see how it goes.
54:22Yeah. Let's see. And then you've got the, I mean, Dan Campbell's not a patient man.
54:27And Dan Campbell looks angry on the sideline. And here you have this new little check down Charlie offense for the lions with the blobfish.
54:35And I look at that. I'm like, those are two situations where I don't know if the play callers stay the same the entire season.
54:43As crazy as it is. Right. Because it's wins and losses are going to determine that both those teams are two and two, by the way.
54:51So, uh, running backs, this one, this is a bigger talk.
54:54Talk to me, Jeremiah love 14 for 63, one target and a really long conversation after the game with the media saying, go play bam night.
55:03It was the, it was so bizarre. We had it last week.
55:07You had a running back that you drafted in the top five and you said, let's give him all the work.
55:13Because of course, if you seriously are on the goal line and you're like, no, this other guy is a better option than you have.
55:21Why would you have drafted that running back? Why would you draft a guy who's only so good on certain parts of
55:28the field at the running back position? That's a good conversation.
55:32It's infuriating, but I don't think it's the whole story.
55:35The whole story here is that, uh, Jeremiah love came out in the, in the press conference and he talked about that.
55:42This is going to be the longest year of his life that he's dealing with a lot more than the ankle.
55:48So you have more issues that we don't know about the Jeremiah love is dealing with.
55:54He said that his body just feels randomly tired.
55:56And he said, play Bam Knight and Tyler Adjir because quote, why don't we play players that are going to play better than me?
56:04He said that. Yeah. So you look at it, you don't know what conversations are going on on the sideline or whether
56:11maybe they call his number and he goes, no, you go in Tyler.
56:15I mean, I don't know what's happening, but this is a week at look last week.
56:20He looked great. Yeah. This is, it was very exciting.
56:23This was an exciting week and 14 for 63 isn't the end of the world, but no targets.
56:29Yeah. 45% of snaps. The longest year of his life comment was more alluding to the longest year of football.
56:35Yeah. Not like, not like, Oh, this is going to be the worst year ever saying this is a long season.
56:42He hasn't played this much. And then you, the coaches are trying to keep me fresh for the season.
56:48So I, I do think that I know for what for the playoffs, for the playoffs, what are you doing as a rookie?
56:56You, you would hope that he's able to come in and just like take it all, you know, when you're drafted, the
57:02freshest he should be when you're drafted someone, you know, he's got to be fresher than the other guys that are older.
57:09Yeah. I mean, the comments were concerning to me because I think he's dealing with more.
57:15I thought he was dealing with more injuries. Did you not interpret it that way?
57:19I did. I definitely did. But it's just, the whole thing is so weird.
57:24The way that the coach is talking about, I'm, I'm just, I'm back.
57:28I'm, I was, I was so upset and frustrated and angry with the Cardinals organization.
57:33The coach would probably just hinder the team if he took more work in his current state.
57:38To take, to be a rebuilding franchise and be like, we're going to take a franchise running back.
57:44It never works. It literally never works. That's not how you turn your team around.
57:49What about a franchise wide receiver? It's never, it's never worked.
57:52Well, by the way, they got the wrong one.
57:55Marvin Harrison scored. Yeah. And he gave, he gave the, he cost, he cost him the entire game.
58:01Go watch, go watch the play from the 20 ball in his hands on the goal line, drops the ball.
58:07Not a, not a serious receiver. I don't like the thing with the Marv is just, you got the wrong guy.
58:14That's a, sometimes picks don't work out, but strategically for a rebuilding team of a running back never fixes it.
58:20Even when they're unbelievable. Yes. When you're Christian Barca for it, it fixed the giant.
58:25No, he didn't. And Christian McCaffrey, he did the Panthers.
58:28I'm not disagreeing with that, but I am thinking of an example of a situation that I think was more team defining
58:35and had a year of buffer with a good play caller.
58:38Okay. And that was Dan Campbell. Dan Campbell made the investment in Jameer Gibbs top 12 pick.
58:44They lost a bunch of games in their rookie season.
58:47He was three and 13. Now they, maybe they took him the next year when they had that good pick, but they
58:54also already had Gibbs was a defining part of their rebuild, but they were all like, they were already ready for the rebuild.
59:01It needed, I'm not saying a, like a franchise running back can, can take a team to the next level.
59:08Look at the, when, when Philly got the E, uh, uh, Barkley like that, that first year was absolutely magical because the
59:15team was ready for the, the running back to come in and be featured.
59:19The lions already had Jared golf who maybe at the time, because of the trade with Stafford, it was like, we don't
59:26know if golf is going to be at golf is worked out spectacularly for, for the lions.
59:31So you get the, you get the extra first year was the year after they went three and 13.
59:38Wasn't part of the rebuild as much as we've rebuilt, but they didn't, I don't think anybody expected them to go 12
59:45and five that year after a three and 13 year.
59:48But I'm saying, so to, I'm just, I'm back, but that was my larger point is, is I look after week three.
59:55Okay, fine. Bell cow. He's going to be, he's the offense.
59:58He's the face of the office. He's the entire engine.
60:01For a pick, but the stupid charger. Mike said this the second, during the game, he's like, this is going to, we
60:08are going to look back and say, this is the reason we don't have the number one.
60:14Chargers want Jeremiah Smith. Yep. We're the Cardinals will be one pick away from the quarterbacks coming out this year.
60:20Man, we are on a tangent. I apologize. Yeah.
60:23The quarterback coming out this year from college, as of right now, there's a lot of exciting names.
60:29We've had years like this where there's a lot of them.
60:32And then by the draft season that has sifted down and you have two guys that you feel real confident about the
60:39Arizona Cardinals will be one pick away from the two.
60:42Yep. Top tier quarterback. Yeah. Cause they suck. Bucky Irving 16 for 61, got, got the carries.
60:48Didn't get any targets. The, he, that was a huge difference in Baker Mayfield and Jalen Daniels.
60:53Whenever Jalen Daniels had a moment to think he took off or like the pressure came, he took off running.
60:59There were no check down. I don't blame him.
61:02I would have done the same thing. Kyle's been keeping it count.
61:06It is now 745 days since Bucky Irving has had a carry inside the five.
61:11The fact that Sean Tucker got at this game, the fact that Tampa Bay got, we need six yard line stops.
61:18We, we got in, we got next to the end zone and it was still not Bucky Irving.
61:23I think that that is, it's pretty definitive that that's how they're going to roll it out.
61:29I don't think he's their goal line guy. I mean, that's, that's pretty obvious.
61:33He's their best runner and not their goal line guy.
61:36Right. And Sean Tucker scored the touchdown. So you can't really blame them of like, Oh, they brought in a bigger, heavier back and it worked.
61:45They used him on fourth down too. Yeah. David Montgomery is a disaster.
61:49He has fallen to an efficiency poop hole. Uh, that was Kyle's words, not mine.
61:53He is a 3.0, 1.7, 3.0, 2.4 in yards per carry dead last in yards after contact per attempt, which is crazy
62:00because of all the players that I can think of in the last handful of years that broke the first tackle.
62:07Yeah. That was a yards after. I mean, is he lost it?
62:11It seems that way. Cam Scadaboo 18 for 58.
62:14Najee Harris fumbled in this game. Cam just couldn't get the big play and didn't get any targets.
62:20Yep. Uh, Travion Henderson was 14 for 42. Uh, I believe Ramondre had, did he have one or two touchdowns?
62:26I think he had two. That one. I can't remember.
62:29He was, he was one touchdown. He was 13 for 47.
62:33Yeah. I mean, so they both ran out the same, but the score went to Ramondre.
62:38Parker Washington, Devante Adams, Garrett Wilson, Christian Watson. By the way, it was another nice golden week.
62:43This is if you wanted to trade, if anybody out there traded Watson on high last week, I'm not saying this is going to continue.
62:51I'm just saying you feel good right now. Yes.
62:54If you traded him away. George Pickens. Or Josh Downs.
62:57George Pickens. Let's talk about it. Two catches, 75 yards, only three targets.
63:01When you have three and the other guy across the field has 21, you know, your son, Mike, is a huge George Pickens fan.
63:09I'm a huge George Pickens fan. We're watching the game and we're going, where's George?
63:14He was, your, your boy was sad. Yeah. I was sad.
63:17I like George Pickens was my start of the week.
63:20The absolute fart of the week. The process was I, the perimeter guy for against Houston is going to have a good game.
63:28And seven, look at 75 yards is not the end of the world, but when, when the other superstar on the team
63:35puts up what he did, you're, it's tough. It's tough.
63:38And, and this might be narrative stuff, but it's like, this is the situations where we've seen George Pickens become a problem on unhappy with the outcome.
63:46So four weeks into the year, CD lamb is a wide receiver too.
63:50Yeah. And George Pickens is the wide receiver 39.
63:53Yeah. It's not going well for George. CD lamb is still awesome.
63:57And Josh downs hugely disappointing week. I think he played 95% of snaps.
64:01That game broke. Is Daniel Jones? Oh, he's not looking great.
64:05No. Is he resembling a pumpkin? Yeah. He, he, they won the game.
64:09Uh, thanks to Galifianakis. Yes. Uh, it is that disrespectful.
64:12Yes. Do I need to go back to his regular name?
64:16Yes, you do. Like the dude had the bomb touchdown to Burks.
64:19Another, he had a, uh, he should have had what was it?
64:23And Antonio Williams had a huge man. I think I'm an Italian man.
64:27I didn't even finish the point about Ivan was that we, we saw Jalen Daniels come in.
64:33You're like, this is not a, this is not quarterback.
64:36Uh, and then what's his name? Island. Callie man is.
64:39Okay. He comes in a Y L a N.
64:42I land. We'll get it. We'll figure it out.
64:45But my point is the pronunciation. He came in and I mean, he couldn't read it.
64:50He could not read a blitz, but his throws were at least like, okay, okay.
64:55This guy deserves to be a backup. His interviews are awesome.
64:58He's like, I said, he's got Mendoza energy. He just wants to get better and better and better.
65:04Uh, I don't think he starts next week. I think it'll be Jaden.
65:08Yeah, I agree. Yeah. But back-to-back wins for the Colts.
65:11I think are masking how terrible Daniel Jones played.
65:14Daniel Jones accuracy looked abysmal. I mean, he was a wreck.
65:17Thankfully they could run the ball with Jonathan Taylor had multiple touchdowns.
65:21You know, they won easily. So you're not leaving this game like upset.
65:25You know, if you're a Colts fan of a Colts player, a Colts coach, but he was really bad.
65:31And I think that that's going to be exposed when they're not playing a, you know, third string quarterback here soon.
65:38We did have a considerable quantity of, uh, I guess we haven't, have we talked through anybody else at wide receiver you want to talk to?
65:46Cause we can get to Dalton Kincaid, Travis Kelsey, Kenyon Sadiq, Goost.
65:50Like Buka is the biggest, like, I mean, he hasn't, he alerts us time to panic.
65:55I just don't even count the non Baker weeks.
65:58I agree with that. You can't start him without Baker, but Baker's also the last I heard was three to six weeks.
66:05It was like, he's trying to beat the three week timeline.
66:09That was the news I saw. And then after that was like, looks like three to six weeks for Baker.
66:15You haven't been able to start a Buka happily in basically almost a calendar year.
66:20I mean, it was, it was, you know, halfway through last year.
66:24It reminds me of another OSU wide receiver. Um, and you know, you've got what?
66:28Marv. You, that's the one. Marv. Marv was 808 as a rookie.
66:32Yeah. And now we're like, get off the team.
66:35Well, I don't think it has been. And a book.
66:38I had a couple of games to start the year.
66:41And now we're like, it was more than a couple though.
66:45It wasn't. Yeah, it was. It was more than a couple.
66:48He was like, he was like six or seven weeks in and he was a top five wide receiver.
66:54It was my head. It was five. I mean, the problem is, is that we don't like you, you've been talking about
67:01the bears and you're like, we don't know what they're doing because we don't have Caleb and we don't know what's up like.
67:09Yeah. Target distribution. Like I just don't see a world where Baker comes back and a book isn't heavily targeted.
67:15This game was just, this was not a passing quarterback.
67:18Yeah. This was a check down to Godwin. I worry about a book.
67:22Yeah. No, I don't. I'm not saying don't worry about him.
67:26I'm just saying don't play him at all with Jalon Daniels.
67:29I agree with that. I think after that, like you talk about an acquisition window, would you rather have a book or Josh Downs rest of season?
67:38I mean, I take a book is still probably Josh Downs.
67:41Okay. I think I'm on the Josh downside. I think you're going to, you're going to end up right now for the
67:48next five weeks unable to play this player than a bi-week.
67:52I mean, Downs, Downs also sucked. One week. He's at least had, I, what do we got?
67:57Uh, weeks two and three. He was a double digit player.
68:01When's the last time a book has, oh, it's been forever since he was double digits.
68:06The book hasn't been double digits since I think we got 11 last year.
68:10Yeah. It's crazy. Um, 10. The problem with Kenyon Sadiq's goose is that if this offense is got 30 plays a game,
68:17you are going to be really scared about opportunities.
68:20I think it was Gino had two attempts going into the second quarter.
68:24Yeah. It was insane. You would, if you were watching that game, it was just, oh, the bears have the ball again.
68:31Oh, or the bears have the, I would forget that the jets were playing in the morning cause you never saw any jet green.
68:39No, I mean anything. Braylon Allen was their offense and it didn't matter cause they had 30, he had, they had 35
68:46plays and the, the, the, the bears had 89 plays.
68:49That is one of the most insane stats I've ever heard that, that disparity in snaps is made up is like, oh, cause I made it up.
68:58The source, the source that you just, you know, got that data from is obviously broken is how that feels.
69:04But the, that's what happened. Um, I, we gotta, we gotta get, uh, towards the end of this year, but Kelsey two
69:11for 15 and they go into the buy, by the way, the chiefs are on by that's a place you could figure
69:18out, you know, what they're doing on the offensive side.
69:21If they're going to pick up anybody. A good time to get Hill.
69:25Yeah. And I'm just very curious whether he'll be, I mean, is he ready?
69:30Yeah. I don't know. Uh, Jake Ferguson, Dalton Schultz, Darren Waller.
69:33Waller was disappointing. That was a game where he had a lot of pass attempts and a really good game, but not
69:40a lot of work just enough to get Jason freaking 36 yards instead of 27.
69:45Thank you. Congratulations. All right. We'll be back tomorrow.
69:48It is a waiver day. Enjoy the game tonight.
69:51Saints. Falcons should be a fun one. B. John Shuck and company.
69:54Oh, Shuck daddies. It's going to be a good night.
69:58I hope so. Uh, waivers tomorrow. We'll talk to you then.
