Aaron Jones

PositiveProjection8:01

Projected for 20–28 opportunities (carries and targets combined) as the Vikings' workhorse back with Jordan Mason out for another week; BDGE Fantasy Football feels good about starting him despite lack of touchdown upside and recent offensive line injuries (Donovan Jackson and Christian Darrisaw); high volume alone justifies must-start consideration.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

PositiveRole8:11

Kamara is receiving all high-value touches, scoring two touchdowns, and dominating snap share; will be the lead back with Kendrick Miller fumbling early and seeing only ~5 touches; BDGE Fantasy Football believes Kamara belongs in the feels-good tier despite brutal Saints matchup (Vikings dead last in rushing defense metrics: #1 in fantasy points allowed, #1 in EPA per rush allowed, #1 in success rate allowed, #3 in explosive run rate allowed).

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeRole30:02

Blake Corum is slowly creeping into the 'rather not' tier and moving away from shaky flex category due to Kyron Williams taking over goal-line work and receiving opportunities. Corum has not compensated with rushing efficiency and is not expected to see significant volume this week.

Insight page
NegativeRole30:16

Ranked as moving away from flex consideration toward rather-not-start category; losing role share to Kyron Williams, who has taken goal-line work, increased carries, and receiving opportunities while Corm has done almost none of that.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveProjection11:01

Vegas projects 17.5 rushing attempts and 69.12 rushing yards with a −105 anytime touchdown line. Despite poor performance last week, Hall saw nearly all touches in the backfield. BDGE Fantasy Football feels the volume projection is strong enough to warrant dub flex tier placement near the top, with lineup inclusion despite recent struggles.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

NegativeValue29:09

Brian Robinson is ranked as lacking standalone fantasy value despite a big game on Monday Night Football. BDGE Fantasy Football dismisses his recent performance as unsustainable and fake value.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveProjection1:04

RB with most touches in Jaylen Daniels's first start; Vegas projection of 64 total yards; despite backfield split concerns with Shawn Tucker (goal line) and Kenneth Gainwell (pass-catching), BDGE Fantasy Football believes Irving is the best back on the field by a wide margin and is giving him another chance in flex despite last week's split.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveBreakout18:42

Week 5 must-start classification contingent on wide receiver injuries; if Jamar Chase and T. Higgins both miss, Chase Brown becomes a league-winner candidate. Last week caught 'a million passes' in passing game and should catch 7–8 passes this week with both WRs out, creating monster fantasy ceiling; Jamar Chase in concussion protocol and T. Higgins dealing with abductor strain make dual absence likely; even if only one WR misses, Chase Brown gets significant passing game boost.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeUsage5:43

Rodriguez is ranked as a sit despite scoring a TD last week; he does not receive many touches in the Jacksonville backfield, limiting his fantasy value.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection26:37

Ranked as must-start for Week 5 at Seattle; 49ers in favorable game environment with 46.5-point total, 4-0 record, and 2.5-point underdog status. Despite losing some work to Elijah Mitchell, McCaffrey gets enough volume to produce week-to-week even on bad days; lacks explosiveness and receiving involvement but has sufficient touches to deliver consistent fantasy production.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveRole20:47

Despite Khari Mongai's strong Week 4 performance after Swift fumbled and was benched, Swift remains the primary back in Chicago's offense; Thursday Night Football expects Swift to regain his role and places him in the 'feels good' category with 75 projected total yards per Vegas and a strong anytime touchdown line, as the Bears will continue to rely on their ground game with Caleb Williams out.

Insight page

Dameon Pierce

NegativeRole2:38

Practice squad RB likely to be active for Eagles-Jaguars game; projected to get some touches in Eagles backfield; uncertain how many touches; BDGE Fantasy Football rates him as 'rather not' for fantasy purposes.

Insight page
NegativeRole3:47

Pierce is ranked as a sit with concerning role and volume indicators; the Eagles' trade for Tank Bsby signals uncertainty about backup depth behind Saquon Barkley.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeProjection14:24

Placed in the shaky flex category and needs a touchdown to have any floor for fantasy. Gets a few more snaps than Woody Marks but hasn't shown much juice; offensive line run blocking has been awful. However, with CJ Stroud and Nico Collins returning, the Texans can dictate game script against Tennessee, so Montgomery could see decent volume. His anytime touchdown line is at minus 110, suggesting Vegas expects him to get goal-line opportunities, though production has been bleak.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection28:28

Derrick Henry is ranked as must-start for Week 5 vs. Falcons despite efficiency concerns. Under backup QB Tyler Huntley, Henry should not expect efficient rushing but has high ceiling. Ravens O-line is dealing with injuries (starting center, backup center, shaky guard play) and Falcons have strong run defense, but historical precedent shows upside—Week 16 last year vs. Packers with Huntley starting, Henry ran for 160 yards and 4 TDs. BDGE Fantasy Football expects possible 3.8-4.0 yards per carry day.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveProjection27:01

Emanuel Wilson is ranked as must-start for Week 5 at San Francisco. He's filling in for injured Jaren Price with Joe Mixon's failed physical clearing the backfield. Despite not being a talented or explosive runner, Wilson has posted back-to-back 20+ touch games and will see goal-line work and receiving opportunities. BDGE Fantasy Football notes that Seattle RBs with full workloads have historically elite fantasy floor and ceiling; Wilson has proven he can produce when given volume dating back to Green Bay last year. You can blindly put him into your lineup.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeBust23:07

JK Dobbins is placed in the shaky flex category despite a 13.5 rush attempt projection, but BDGE Fantasy Football views him as a bust candidate. Dobbins looks slow and cannot get anything going; he's not making big plays or catching passes. Despite the projected volume, the offense is not working well and defenses can stack the box since Bo Nicks doesn't throw deep. Dobbins fails to live up to preseason optimism that he could be this year's Devonte Williams, and Denver's offensive line is not dominant.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection29:34

James Cook is ranked as must-start for Monday Night Football at LA Rams. The game features a 54.5-point total with Bills as 3-point underdogs in a dome environment. BDGE Fantasy Football recommends getting as many pieces as possible in this high-scoring matchup, making Cook a core piece.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection0:43

Must-start RB recommendation with strong Vegas projection; expected to get a ton of touches with a very strong anytime touchdown line at minus 230.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveRole12:36

Placed in the must-start category if he plays without Rico Dowdle; he catches passes, breaks off big plays, and is a better player who offers more explosive plays than Aaron Jones. If Dowdle returns, Warren moves to feels good category. Mike McCarthy said they'll use running back by committee, but Warren has earned the upper hand; projected to take 60% of touches with Dowdle at 40% moving forward.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeRole25:05

Love received 26 touches two weeks ago but saw almost all touches go to Tyler Algier this week; appears to have banged himself up though both he and coaching staff denied injury. Ranked as dub flex with Vegas projecting around 60 total yards, 2.5 receptions, and -125 anytime touchdown odds. Despite favorable game environment against Detroit (Lions expected to score 26-32 points weekly), uncertainty about whether he's hurt or just tired makes it hard to feel confident.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeInjury8:01

Mason is out for another week, ceding the workhorse role to Aaron Jones; his absence creates a significant volume opportunity for Jones.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeRole10:55

Mitchell is splitting backfield work nearly evenly with Omarian Hampton and Kamani Vidal; ranked as shaky flex because he's getting pass-catching work in a backfield committee, giving him some standalone value despite the split touches.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeRole1:04

Pass-catching back used in passing-down situations; uncertain if Eagles will continue using him in that role; at best a shaky flex option.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

NegativeRole23:31

Vidal is splitting backfield work nearly evenly with Omarian Hampton and Katon Mitchell and is getting red zone touches, but is not recommended as a start despite the red zone opportunity; the committee nature of the backfield limits his fantasy upside.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveRole29:55

Ranked as must-start for Week 5 Monday Night Football vs. Bills. Williams has established himself as the goal-line back with significantly increased carries and receiving work compared to Blake Corum. BDGE Fantasy Football calls him a strong performer, noting he's been the guy getting a lot more carries and catching the passes. Despite being drafted in third or fourth round, he's proven to be a blast of a pick for whoever selected him early.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon

NegativeRole19:30

Despite a strong Week 4 performance with nine carries and a touchdown, Ollie Gordon's role remains unclear; he and Jaylen Wright were relatively close in touches and snap counts. Thursday Night Football does not trust Gordon as a consistent upside play, cautioning against overemphasizing one good game after he was a major waiver-wire talking point. Faces a tough matchup against Cincinnati's defense, which is much better against the run than last year with Dexter Lawrence anchoring the middle.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeRole23:31

Hampton is splitting backfield work nearly evenly with Katon Mitchell and Kamani Vidal while getting random touches; ranked as shaky flex with projected range of RB 26-30 this week. Offensive line injuries (Rashawn Slater, Tyler Bottis, Joe Alt) compound the backfield dysfunction, making him difficult to trust.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveProjection7:25

Projected for 13–15 touches per game, which BDGE Fantasy Football considers sufficient volume to warrant dub flex tier placement at the bottom of the tier.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeInjury12:36

Dealing with a toe injury and has been fully DMPD during his absence; 50/50 chance at best to play in Week 5. If he returns, he would be a shaky flex with projected 40% of touches going to Jaylen Warren's 60%, as Warren has earned the upper hand in the backfield.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveUsage23:07

R.J. Harvey is receiving heavy checkdown volume from Bo Nicks' dump-off heavy passing approach; BDGE Fantasy Football likes Harvey significantly more than JK Dobbins in Denver's offense. Harvey is legitimately a good PPR flex play with a receiving line at 4.5, which is higher than the majority of running backs in Week 5's slate. Every checkdown is going to Harvey, leading to a ton of catches.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeProjection1:41

Eagles RB likely to get volume due to injuries (Saquon Barkley, Tank Bsby out), but BDGE Fantasy Football has concerns about trust level and matchup; Jacksonville has one of the best run defenses in the NFL; Eagles may not trust Shipley as a true bellcow despite forced volume; Jalen Hurts does not throw to running backs, limiting pass-catching value; weak passing game context with DeVonta Smith out and Dallas Goedert potentially out; 42.5-point over/under suggests low scoring; BDGE Fantasy Football places him in 'dub flex' category and does not want to overcommit.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeProjection14:24

Placed in the shaky flex category and needs a touchdown to have any floor for fantasy. Has taken multiple carries inside the 10 and inside the five and has scored multiple rushing touchdowns, but hasn't shown much juice overall; not pulling away in the passing game and offensive line run blocking has been awful. His anytime touchdown line is at plus 150 compared to Montgomery's minus 110.

0:00Good morning friends and enemies.
0:04Today's video we will be going game by game ranking and tiering every single fantasy relevant running back for week five. We do this every single Wednesday.
0:11We do the wide receiver version every single Thursday. We get down into the nitty-gritty. We get down into the snaps, the routes run, the weather, the
0:19injuries, everything you need to know to successfully make your sit start calls.
0:24All right, if you are new to the channel and you enjoy this style of video, make sure you hit the button that looks like
0:28this. Starting off with Thursday Night Football, we've got the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Dallas Cowboys. They will be playing in the dome in Dallas.
0:36They are eight and a half point favorites in this one. It looks like we are getting uh another Jaylen Daniels start for Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A 47 and
0:43a half point total. Most of which, by the way, is projected to be via the Dallas Cowboys offense. Jamonte Williams, of course, is going into the
0:49mustart category. He should uh get a ton of touches in this one. Really, really strong anytime touchdown line down there at minus 230. They should also be
0:57getting back Tyler Smith on the offensive line, which will be a massive upgrade for the offense. The other side of things is a little bit trickier. We
1:04saw in Jaylen Daniels's first start, Bucky Irving got the most touches, but they mixed in Shawn Tucker inside the 2-yard line for a goal line score. They
1:11mixed in Kenneth Gainwell in the pass catching situations, which was one of our concerns, you know, drafting Bucky Irving uh throughout the summer here.
1:18So, I still think that matters. But in the matchup against Dallas, uh, I am very willing to get Bucky back into my
1:26lineup. His Vegas lines are relatively strong, 64 total yards. Not really projected to get near the end zone there, but I still think he's the best
1:33back on the field by a wide margin.
1:35Shawn Tucker is not a guy that I want my lineup. Do they continue to use Kenneth Gainwell in the passing down uh
1:41situation? Like they talked about it after the game, and maybe they do, but at best he's a shaky flex here. I'm
1:46giving Bucky Irving another chance uh in my lineup though in a flex position despite what we looked like last week with the split between the three running
1:54backs. Next up, we've got another international game 9:30 a.m. Eastern time. Philadelphia at Jacksonville. Now, the story for Philadelphia, of course,
2:01is the number of injuries on that side of the ball. You have [clears throat] Saquin out for this game. You got Tank
2:06out for this game. Cam Jurgens is hurt.
2:08Landon Dickerson's on the IR. Lane Johnson just retired. So, they're in shambles in a way that I don't know that I've seen a team with expectations the
2:16way that they did coming into the year could possibly be in a blender by week five. It is really, really bad. Most of
2:22the projections are, hey, will Shipley is going to be the guy? A lot of you guys probably went out, used a number
2:27one waiver on him, used a lot of fab on him. I have a few concerns with Shipley, particularly against the Jacksonville
2:34Jaguars, who have one of, if not the best run defenses in the entire NFL. You see a lot of red across the board. This
2:39is a very very very good uh run defense.
2:42Will Shipley, I don't know that we've seen much at the NFL level, especially not from the Eagles that tells us that
2:47they really trust him to be like a bellcow. Now, they might be forced to use him in that role, which is like good
2:52enough for me to throw him into my lineup, I believe. Uh but I also think they're going to call up some guys from
2:58the practice squad like Damen Pierce is going to be active for this one if I had to project. Uh possibly Jaden Blue. I
3:03don't know how many guys are going to call up, but Damen Pierce probably going to be active. Probably going to get some
3:07touches there. Can we project more than, you know, six touches? I'm not sure. But it also wouldn't shock me if we saw them
3:14know that their team is just a mess right now. And it's like, hey, we have to disguise our passing game as much as
3:19possible because again, Dvonte Smith is going to be out as well. I didn't even name him. Uh Dallas Gddard, don't have
3:24the status for him, but if I had to guess right now, you know, we'll wait for practice reports obviously coming out later today. I'm filming this early
3:29on Wednesday morning. He could be out as well. Like they are just it's it's a bad situation for Philadelphia. So, Will
3:35Shipley in a normal matchup, if they were playing against the Cowboys, they were playing against Washington or something. He I'd feel really good about
3:41him, but for now, I'm going to throw him into the dub flex category, uh, I don't want to get over my skis about him.
3:47Damon Pierce is going to be a rather not. We obviously still have to see what's going on there, but I think there
3:50are enough like concerning things here.
3:52The fact that they did go out and trade draft picks for Tank Bsby last year as well, telling you that I don't know that
3:58they felt super secure about having Will Shipley as the backup to Saquon Barkley.
4:01So, yeah, I don't know. There's enough red flags. The matchup is really tough.
4:05Will he get volume? Yes. Is he a pass catching back? Yes. But does Jayen Herz throw to running backs? Also no. So, I
4:11just don't know how valuable his touches are going to get. I don't know how you could project the Philadelphia Eagles to
4:16score a lot of points. This is a 42 and a half point overunder. You know, those morning games internationally are super
4:21sloppy. The Jags are seven-point favorites here. So, they're not projecting Philly to score many points in this one. So, Shipley, you know, you
4:28could definitely flex him. You could definitely start him. But I will say he's not like a must start for me in any
4:33stretch of uh our imagination at this point. So we've got Bashalt Tuton on the other side of the ball projected for 72
4:40total yards minus 105 for an anytime touchdown. The Jaguars are they're they're a pretty slow paced team. So the overunder, you know, obviously low here
4:49at 42 and a half points. Some of that of course is due to the number of injuries for Philadelphia and how sloppy their
4:54offenses looked, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that neither of these teams run a lot of plays. Like
4:58they are not hurry up. They are not guys that like really go with uptempo.
5:03Jaguars included. So they don't run a lot of plays here which is like what makes it a little bit scary for most of
5:09the offensive players. Like this is a very efficient offense. They look fantastic. So uh not going to overthink it. Bashalt Tutin has been the main guy
5:15in the back field. Got had a few touchdowns called back last week. So I feel really good about his trajectory going forward. Philadelphia Eagles
5:22defense has obviously not looked anywhere near uh what they had been in previous years. They're dealing with some injuries on that side of the ball
5:27too. But yeah, I mean EPA success rate number four in terms of allowed to opposing rushing offenses. So definitely not the scary team that they had been in
5:37previous years against the run defense.
5:39So I like where Toutton's at. On the flip side though, or not on the flip side, but the next guy up, Chris
5:43Rodriguez. Sure, he had a touchdown last week, but he still doesn't get many touches in the back field. Next up, we
5:48got Vegas at the New England Patriots.
5:50First one:00 game here. 45 and a half point total. We saw the Patriots have a pretty big bounceback with Drake May
5:56there. Uh, the Patriots are three and a half point favorites. Vegas pretty much has to travel across country. So, not an
6:03easy matchup by any means. We'll have to see if Christian Barmore is back in this game. He's obviously a big run stuffer
6:08in the middle there for the Patriots and he missed last game. So, would be a major upgrade for a guy like Ashen
6:14Genty. He's catching a ton of passes.
6:16Uh, still getting a lot of work. Like Mike Washington is definitely mixing in more than you'd love to see for a guy
6:22like Genty with his type of draft capital, but I still think any given week he can give you a really high
6:26ceiling game where he catches six passes for 75 yards, scores a touchdown on the ground, scores a touchdown through the air. So, uh, yeah, not going to
6:32overthink this one. Ashen Genti is going to be in my lineup. For the Patriots, that's where things get a bit tricky.
6:37Obviously, it's a very, very split backfield right now, even after Raandre kind of fumbled the game away two weeks ago and Trayvon Henderson stepped in and
6:44and ripped off a big touchdown run. Last week we saw it go back to the norm where it's a 50/50 split. Andre Stevenson's
6:51running more routes. He's getting a lot of the short down and distance stuff.
6:53They just clearly don't trust Trayvon Henderson to be like a dude dude in this back field. The Raiders defense has been
6:59a lot better than most people expected.
7:01Um some red across the board there and you know these numbers would look a lot better if Kenneth Walker didn't just rip
7:06off that you know 80 yard run last week and then have two like very very late touchdown runs. So obviously those are
7:13the type of things that good running backs do. But just to say like I think the Raiders run defense is actually
7:17pretty stout and and they're a lot better than giving credit for. I don't like hate the matchup overall, but I still think both of these guys are
7:25pretty pretty tough to trust in your lineup. I think Stevenson's probably a good projection for 13 to 15 touches, which for me is enough to put him into
7:33the dub flex at the bottom of it. And Trayvon Henderson goes into the shaky flex. Mike Washington wish we could see
7:37him get more touches, but unfortunately this is just the world we live in at this moment. Moving to the Minnesota Vikings at the New Orleans Saints. So
7:46obviously in the dome there a 42 and a half point overunder feels low for a team like the Saints who you know
7:52typically end up in shootouts obviously because the Vikings cannot [ __ ] score anything on offense. Uh the Vikings are one and a half point favorites cuz their
7:59defense is so damn good right now.
8:01They're 4-0. Say about that what you will. Uh Jordan Mason out for another week which means Aaron Jones will be the
8:06workhorse again. I think he had 20 26 or 28 opportunities last week. Just like insane insane volume. I'd expect that to
8:14be the case. Again, Saints defense got absolutely torched by Bejan and Brian Robinson. So, you can see they are dead last in pretty much every metric uh
8:21against running backs, number one in fantasy points allowed, number one in EPA per rush allowed, number one in success rate allowed, and number three
8:27in explosive run rate allowed. Of course, you know, it's still a four-week sample size and when you have a game like they did on Monday Night Football
8:35where we whooped the [ __ ] out of them on the ground, those numbers are going to be there. Uh regardless, like obviously,
8:40you know, Aaron Jones, listen, they just lost Donovan Jackson, their first round pick from um a year ago on the offensive
8:46line, the Vikings did. Christian Darasaw, I believe, is in the concussion protocol as well. So, if he misses this game, that would be two of their
8:52starting uh offensive linemen plus offensive linemen uh up there that are blocking for Aaron Jones. you know, he's not like a big home run threat. He's not
9:00scoring touchdowns either. So, it's hard to put him in the mustard category.
9:04Obviously, if you have him though, like you don't have many options that you're going to start above a 25 touch guy. So,
9:08feel good about Aaron Jones. The other side of the ball a little bit trickier.
9:11Kamar getting all the high value touches there. Scores two, you know, lone touchdowns, getting a ton of dump offs.
9:17Obviously, Kendra Miller also fumbles the ball very early in this game, uh, and has zero success on the ground. So Kamara, I would throw him into the feels
9:25good category if it was a better matchup just because he's going to dominate snaps going forward, I think, with Kendrick Miller's fumble. I still think,
9:32you know, Kendrick will probably get five touches in this game. But it's clear that Kamar is going to be the the
9:35lead guy in this backfield until Travis ETM returns. But the matchup is just so so brutal against the Vikings. So you've
9:42got to be pretty desperate. But I do believe he belongs in the category with like the Raandre Stevensons of the world. I definitely would look at um
9:49Shipley and Bucky as you know maybe it's here above and maybe Kamar and Raandre should probably be in the shaky flex
9:54category or near so but you know I'll throw them in there because I do think there are going to be teams that need to
9:59start them because we have two teams on buy should have probably started out the video with that Kansas City Kansas City
10:04and Carolina both on buy for this week which means Chuba Hubard and Kenneth Walker are going to be out of your
10:09lineup so some of you guys might need some running back depth. Uh, and as always, you know, all of my rankings and
10:14the tiers and stuff will be live on the front end of the website right here in the dropown start sit rankings by the
10:19time you guys watch this video. So, if you're a fantasy member, you have access to the actual order of how I would rank
10:24all of these guys. Kendra Miller going to ride into the rather not category.
10:30Cleveland at the New York Jets. So, this is a 39 12 point total here. The Jets are 2 and 12 point favorites. What could
10:39go wrong there? They looked disastrous last week against the Chicago Bears, but you know, probably an easier matchup this time around against the uh
10:48Cleveland Browns here. The Cleveland Browns are going to be without Mason Graham on the defensive line. The Jets might get some firepower back this week
10:55uh with guys like Adani Mitchell, maybe Mason Taylor. We'll have to see and watch practice reports, but I do think that helps kind of spread the offense a
11:01bit. Brillon Allen struggled last week to get really anything going. However, he did see almost all of the touches.
11:07So, uh, Vegas has him at 17 1.5 rushing attempts, 69 12 rushing yards, and a minus 105 anytime touchdown line. That
11:15feels good enough for me where he will be in my lineup uh, despite what we saw last week. So, he's going to go into the
11:21dub flex category, but he's definitely going to go near the top of it. Quinn Judkins, on the other hand, finally had
11:26like a very, very good fantasy day last week. Scored a touchdown, caught a bunch of passes, and that's really been the
11:30case here. Judkins is seeing a ton of targets in this offense now that Dylan Samson is out. uh he's playing on all
11:37three downs. He's seeing a bunch of checkdowns. They are drawing up screen plays for him. So, he's a very very huge
11:44piece of this offense obviously and this is a defense that, you know, you definitely want to attack here. So, I'm going to have uh Judkins. I don't want
11:50to get ahead of myself off of a one week sample size of what we saw last week, but you know, you're playing against the
11:56Jets. I think he also belongs in the Dublex category, near the top of it, in the you know, Will Shipley kind of Bucky
12:03Irving range there. And then there's no one else that we want to play in this game. Next up, we got Indianapolis at
12:09the Pittsburgh Steelers here. The Steelers are two and a half point favorites. This is a 44 and a half point total. Jonathan Taylor, of course, is
12:16going to the mustard category. And this is our first kind of weather update of the day. So, you have uh wind in the 10
12:22to 15 mph range with some uh with some rain in the 60 to 70% throughout the game. So, could be some sloppy
12:30conditions, but that's where a dude like Jonathan Taylor would go crazy here. On the flip side, I mean, you have Jaylen
12:36Warren who's been going nutty as well with Rico D outs. We don't have word on whether or not Rico Dole will return
12:42this week dealing with the toe injury.
12:44He's been fully DMPD uh during his absence. So, I would say 50/50 chance at best for him to play in week five. This
12:52is a Colts defense you could absolutely kind of go crazy on. So Jaylen Warren, he's going into the must-ar category if
12:58he is um by himself without Rico Dattle.
13:00Of course, he catches passes, he breaks off big plays. So he's kind of like he's he's he's similar to Aaron Jones where
13:06like they both aren't scoring touchdowns. They're both getting basically every opportunity in the back field. I just think Jaylen Warren's a
13:13better player. He offers more explosive plays and I also think like their offense is as bad as it is, like it's
13:18still better than I think what with what the Minnesota Vikings offer it. So they're they're they'll probably be like close to backtoback in my actual
13:25rankings. Jones and Jaylen Warren. If Rico Dattle returns, I have no doubt that Jaylen Warren is still going to be the guy in the back field. He would move
13:31down into the feels good category and Rico would probably be uh a shaky flex here. I know Mike McCarthy came out and
13:36said we're still going to use a running back by committee, but like we'll see how long that lasts. I I think Jaylen
13:41Warren probably takes 60% of the touches where Rico has 40% of the touches moving forward and maybe we see that kind of
13:46expand as the season progresses. I do believe him that they'll use both backs.
13:50Like when Rico D is healthy and back in the back field, it's not going to be Jaylen Warren 75 80%. And Rico kind of
13:56just an afterthought. Um but I I think Warren has earned the upper hand in that back field. Next up, we got Houston at
14:02Tennessee. Houston 7 and a half point favorite in this one. A 37 12 point total. It is disgusting here. Tony Pard
14:09getting a lot of work, but brutal brutal defense to go against. So he's going to go into the shaky flex category. We do
14:14have another weather update for this game in Tennessee. Uh nothing major.
14:19Early early onset of the game, we can get some light rain with uh winds 10 to 15 m per hour, but it does look like it
14:26clears up by uh 100 p.m. So, not much of a concern there for most of the weather outings for anything weather related for
14:33the Houston Texans. Yeah, I mean I I just think realistically David Montgomery, Woody Marks both go right into the shaky flex category. You don't
14:40have much to say about them. you know that both of them need a touchdown in order to have any sort of like floor for
14:47fantasy, which is a bad spot to be in.
14:49They're playing around even. David Montgomery gets like a few more snaps than Woody Marks does, but as you've seen the last couple weeks, Woody Marks
14:56has taken multiple carries inside the 10, inside the five, has scored multiple rushing touchdowns. Neither of them have really shown a ton of juice. Neither of
15:03them are like pulling away in the passing game. The offensive line in terms of run blocking has been awful.
15:07Uh, and we're seeing them kind of get it going through the air with a dude like CJ Stroud. With Nico Collins returning,
15:12CJ Stroud looks a lot better. I I like the matchup obviously against Tennessee.
15:17This is an offense where they can kind of or the defense that they can kind of like dictate the game and the game
15:21script. So, I wouldn't be surprised if if David Montgomery has like a decent amount of volume. But again, like you guys have watched football up to this
15:27point. He needs the touchdown in order to to, you know, be anything useful in his lineup. They do have his anytime
15:33touchdown line at minus 110 compared to what he marks at plus 150. So, they are expecting him to at least get a goal
15:39line opportunity or two, which I don't, you know, disagree with, but it's been pretty bleak over there. Next up, we got
15:44the New York Giants at the Washington Commanders. So, we have a 43 and a half point total. We have the Giants has
15:51three and a half point underdogs. We'll have Jameus Winston under center. Uh, once again, Cam Scatabo still getting a ton of work, just not really like
15:58getting it done for you yet. The Washington Commanders, man, uh, they will have Jaden Daniels back, which I think is probably just good for the
16:04overall game environment. Like you don't want games where you know the score is 17 to 10 or or something like that. Like
16:12you want offenses moving and you want offenses with tempo, you want offenses with a sense of urgency. So, you know, while that does not dictate the Giants
16:20having a more favorable game script for a dude like Cam Scatabo, I I do like the offensive environment a little bit more
16:24with Jaden Daniels under center. But I will say, you know, looking at the numbers here, it's not like Washington has been a pure pushover. Even adding in
16:31Jonathan Taylor's two touchdown game last week uh in London, they still are like middle of the pack if not uh a
16:37little more stout against the run than probably most people are familiar with.
16:42So ultimately with Cam, I I think I fall into the dub flex category. Wouldn't surprise me if he has a good game cuz he
16:47he's one of those guys that's capable in all three downs. They are getting Naji Harris pretty involved in the offense.
16:53He did fumble so we'll see if his snap count comes down. They had Deon Singleary as a healthy scratch in this
16:57one. But through four games, Cam Scatabo is averaging three and a half yards per carry. He scored one touchdown. He's got
17:02eight catches through four games, which is obviously super super disappointing based on like his skill set and the way that we wish he was going to be used,
17:10but we're just not really getting that out of him, unfortunately. So, he'll go into the Dub Flex spot. On the flip
17:16side, with Jayen Daniels returning, I like the running backs more.
17:19Unfortunately, man, I feel like JCM is always just going to be the whatif guy.
17:23Like every single time it feels like he's on the precipice or the verge of having a good game or a big game, the
17:28starting quarterback goes down. You know, I don't have those numbers off the top of my head, but it does feel like,
17:31all right, JCM is a start this week.
17:33He's got a good matchup. He's got, you know, the the the right pieces around him where like Rashad White was out last
17:39week. He had a big first quarter. He was on pace for a big fantasy game and then Marx Maria Oda goes down. Uh, and now
17:46Jaden Daniels returns. I believe Rashad White should be on the better side of questionable as well. So, he could very well return for this game in a really
17:53good match up against the Giants. So, again, it becomes a a uh really tough backfield to parse through when Rashad White is back in the lineup here because
18:00he runs more routes. Shane Daniels doesn't really dump the ball off to running backs to begin with, but maybe they do it a little bit more with Terry
18:07McLaren sidelineed in this one. So, I wish we can get one normal run out for he's like the the uh much less talented
18:13version of Z Flowers where it's like, all right, things are going good. How can we ruin it? How can we take like
18:19small sample sizes and be like, "Yo, this was what was gonna happen. We just can't actually prove it." So, JCM's going to go into the shaky flex
18:25category. Rashad White's going to go into the rather not category. Uh, as is Naji Harris. And I should actually point out, we do have some yellow weather
18:33concerns there. So, let's actually dive in a bit. We have uh 65% chance of light rain from 2:00 p.m. through 400 p.m. We
18:42have some breeze of, you know, 5 to 12 mph wind.
18:46not uh not anything that would concern us for running backs or really the passing game overall. Next up, we got Cincinnati at Miami. Cincinnati
18:53seven-point favorites, 42 and a half point total here in Miami. Weather looks good. Chase Brown's going to go into the must-ar category. I know he's not
18:59scoring and he hasn't had fantasy ceiling games, but if Jamar Chase and T Higgins miss, like Chase Brown, we saw what Chase Brown did last week in the
19:06passing game, caught a million passes, and I think that's what's going to end up happening here. He should catch at least seven or eight passes in this
19:13game. Um, and have a monster monster fantasy outing if those two wide receivers are out. You got Jamar Chase in the concussion protocol. You got T.
19:19Higgins dealing with the abductor strain. Uh, I would say there's a really good chance that both of them miss this game. If not, you know, if one of them
19:26misses, then I still think that helps Chase Brown a ton in the passing game.
19:30On the flip side, we had Olly Gordon come out and I think he looked fine. He had like nine carries, ended up having
19:35the touchdown. Had a very big run after halftime, which amounted for, you know, a lot of his production. I still think
19:41Ali Gordon and Jaylen Wright were relatively close in terms of touches and snap counts and like volume. So, I'm not really trusting the fact that Ali Gordon
19:48had like a pretty good game. It'll be overemphasized because he was such a big talking point coming off of uh week
19:54three being like the face of a lot of waiverwire videos. So, I understand why it's easy to get excited about him. I
20:00just don't think that uh we're going to get a consistent upside play out of Ali Gordon. So, for me, the matchup's not
20:07great. You know, the Bengals defense is obviously not as good as it was in the first couple of weeks in terms of like
20:12what we can project going forward, but they're still much better against the run than they were last year. Dexter Lawrence in the middle of that line
20:18makes it tough for uh opposing backs to run against them. And we've just seen this Miami offense, they just can't score points, you know? It's it's 10
20:25points a game pretty much for the offense. So, for me, he's a shaky flex.
20:28like he's not someone I'm excited to get in my lineup even with byweeks. And then you look at Jaylen Wright, Samaji Pine,
20:33both go into the rather not category.
20:34Next up, we got Chicago at the Green Bay Packers. This is a 45 12 point total spread of three points in favor of the
20:41Chicago Bears despite being without Caleb Williams. It looks like Tyson Beant is going to get another start here. The ground game was going crazy
20:49last week. Kungai had a monster monster game after DeAndre Swift fumbled and then basically got benched. Do I think that Kungai is the guy in this
20:57backfield? No, I don't. I I still very much think it's going to go right back to DeAndre Swift. Do I think Kungagai
21:02maybe earned more work? Yes. And do I think the matchup is great? I think they're both playable. So for Swift, I'm
21:07putting him into the feels good category. 75 total yards per Vegas.
21:11Pretty strong anytime touchdown line there. I think they're going to continue to just rely on their ground game while Caleb Williams is out. For the Packers,
21:18I mean, Christopher Brooks looks banged up, but like I don't know how you can trust Marshon Lloyd, Caleb Johnson. Just like throw them down there. like you got
21:25to be in hell to have those guys in your lineup. For Kyle Manungai, do I think of him as a dub flex? I would still feel
21:33weird putting him in my lineup. I'm going to be honest with you. I think he's I think to me he looks similar to
21:37the Ali Gordens or the Trayvon Hendersons of the world. We're like, yeah, we could probably project for nine or 10 touches, I think. And maybe I look
21:44stupid. Maybe Mongai does earn a lot more work. But listen, they just gave Swift a bag like a few weeks ago. He's
21:51clearly been the best back in that backfield despite the huge game from Mungai last week. guy's proven to be a very good player. I just, you know, I I
21:57think if you don't get a touchdown, you might be looking at nine carries for 45 yards and just empty fantasy points
22:02there. You should also note that uh Kungai, I believe, suffered a very minor like thumb injury at the end of last
22:07week's game, but he's apparently going to be fine and it's not really uh anything to worry about. Next up, we've got Denver at the Los Angeles Chargers.
22:15This this this could have been should have been uh one of the funner games on the slate. Unfortunately, it is actually
22:21probably like close to the bottom of the power rankings in terms of games that I want to watch. On the Denver side of
22:26things, this offense is horrendous. They don't take any shots downfield. Bo Nicks is dumping off every single drop back that he has, and it's leading to a ton
22:33of catches for R.J. Harvey. JK Dobbins cannot get anything going. I I don't know if it's a uh a product of Bo Nicks
22:41not throwing it deep, so defenses don't have to respect the deep pass and just like stack the box. JK Dobbins looks
22:46slow. He does not look good. I made some videos this summer talking about how I like JK Dobbins, how he could be this
22:50year's Devonte Williams. That obviously did not pan out. Their offensive line is not dominant. Their offense is not working very well. So JK Dobbins is
22:57going into the shaky flex category despite having a 13 and a half rush attempt total. Can he roll his way into
23:02a touchdown? Of course, but he's not making big plays. He's not catching any passes. And I like R.J. Harvey significantly more than I like um JK
23:11Dobbins right now because he is catching so many passes. Every checkdown is going to RJ Harvey. He is he's legitimately a
23:17good PPR flex play right now. His receiving line is at four and a half.
23:20That is probably higher than the majority of running backs in this week's slate. For the Chargers, we have an absolute [ __ ] mess. So, we can start
23:30with the split in the back field.
23:31Omarian Hampton, Katon Mitchell, Kamani Vidal are like splitting work near evenly. Katon Mitchell is catching passes. Kamani Vidal is getting red zone
23:39touches. Amarian Hampton's getting random touches. Absolute mess in the backfield. And layer on top of that, the probably more important aspect here is
23:47their offensive line is Cook John Stein once again. Tyler Bottis centers out for the year. You have Rashawn Slater, high ankle sprain. He's going to be out for
23:54the foreseeable future. You have Joe Alt with a neck injury. I don't know that I've heard a status update on him. He's
23:59dayto-day. Uh so real chance that he ends up missing there. This is going to go back to last season's Chargers team
24:06again where it was basically Herbert running for his life on every single play. They couldn't get anything going.
24:12like he needs to be a superhero and he's obviously been anything but that this year. So, uh I don't know how you can
24:18put Omari Hampton anywhere but you know the shaky flex category. He'll probably end up somewhere between like RB 26 and RB30 this week. You're going against the
24:27Broncos who have not been a very good defense this year and they do lose both Patrick Certan and possibly Riley Moss.
24:33So, without their top two quarterbacks, uh yeah, I mean it's just a mess on both sides of the ball. Katon Mitchell. I
24:38think you can throw him into the shaky flex category because he's getting pass catching work. Kamani Vidal. No, of course not. Moving to the Detroit Lions
24:45at the Arizona Cardinals. Jamir Gibbs.
24:47We can get right into the must start category. This is a 54 12 point total in Arizona. Like insane. This this is the
24:54game that you want pieces in. The Lions are 5 1/2 point favorites here. 54 and a half point total in the dome. The only
25:01thing we really need to talk about is the Cardinal side of things. I really don't know what to make of it. You have
25:05two weeks ago Jeremiah Love gets 26 touches. this this week it was like almost all Tyler Algier. It looked like Jeremiah Love kind of banged himself up.
25:13He denied it. The coaching staff denied it, but then he had these really weird comments about how he's got to give his
25:18body a rest and the coaching staff is doing a good job of of giving him a rest. And it it was like some of the
25:24weirdest comments that I I can get zero grasp or read on what's actually happening there. If he's hurt or if he's
25:29just tired. It's like, oh, such a long season or it's going to be a long season. It's like, buddy, the Notre Dame
25:34didn't even like play in the college playoffs. like you you got out of playing for three or four extra weeks. I
25:38don't I don't really know what to make of it. I still I I think you have to like factor that into how you're feeling
25:43about Jeremiah Love. I would love to put him into the feels good category. Do I actually feel good about him? No, I
25:49don't. So, he's going to go into the dub flex category. Vegas still has him projected for around 60 total yards, two
25:54and a half receptions, minus 125 for an anytime touchdown. I just think the game environment again is one that you just
26:00want to be a part of. We expect the Cardinals to be able to move the ball through the air with relative ease
26:05against the Detroit Lions secondary. And we expect the Lions to continue to score somewhere between like 26 and 32 points, which they've been doing on a weekly
26:12basis. So, the game the game environment is good enough to kind of like quiet whatever [ __ ] [ __ ] Jeremiah Love is
26:17talking about in the postgame interview.
26:19So, he's going to be up here, but yeah, hard to feel great about him. him. And then Tyler Alier, startable, has some
26:25standalone value, obviously getting enough touches, but like if he doesn't score a touchdown, uh yeah, he's obviously not going to come through for
26:30you in fantasy. Last game on the late window slate, we've got the 49ers at the Seattle Seahawks here. CMA's going to go
26:37right into the mustard category. This is a 46 1/2 point total. The 49ers are two and a half point underdogs. They are in
26:44Seattle, but they are 4-0. So, this should be a really good game. Um CMAX obviously getting some work taken away from him from Kon Black. Hasn't shown a
26:51ton of explosiveness. not as involved in the receiving game as you'd like him to like to be, but like he he's fine. He's
26:56getting enough work where he's going to come through week in and week out for fantasy even on his bad days. The other
27:01side of things is a little bit more interesting. Emanuel Wilson filled in for Jaren Price, who got put on the IR.
27:06They were like about to sign Joe Mixon yesterday and then he failed a physical, so they did not end up signing him. So,
27:11it looks like it's going to be the Emanuel Wilson show again. I don't think the Niners defense is really that good.
27:16I think this is one where you kind of just blindly put him into your lineup.
27:20Once again, he's not a very good running back. He's not like explosive by any means, but you just see whoever the
27:25running back is in Seattle, if they give him a full workload, the floor and ceiling is so high for that guy. If it
27:31was ever Kenneth Walker for a week, if it was ever Zack Sharpet for a week, if it's Emanuel Wilson, we've seen now
27:36backto-back weeks of 20 plus touches.
27:37Last week, he gets in twice. He's going to be the goal linebacker. He's going to catch passes. They're writing up screens
27:42for him. George Lani is clearly like not a factor in this game whatsoever, not a factor in this backfield whatsoever. So
27:47yeah, I I think you just keep riding the hot hand with Emanuel Wilson until something else changes in that backfield until Zack Charbanet returns who he's
27:54not going to be in week five or they sign a veteran or something like you know a Joe Mixon to complicate things a
27:59little bit further. But for right now realistically all we've seen Emanuel Wilson do anytime he gets the opportunity to be a 20 touch guy is
28:06perform for fantasy. We saw it dating back to last year at Green Bay. We've now seen it with Seattle in multiple
28:10weeks. Like Emanuel Wilson clearly a dude that doesn't need to be talented enough to like make the most of his opportunities in fantasy and Seattle's,
28:17you know, been a pretty good offense. So I expect them to score a decent amount of points in this one. Give him some
28:21goal line opportunities. The other side, yeah, we're not throwing George Hani or Kalon Black into our lineup, of course.
28:26And we can move to the Sunday Night Football game. Baltimore at Atlanta. Uh Atlanta three and a half point Faves.
28:32How you doing? Very likely going to be without Lamar Jackson in this game. They said he has an outside chance to play.
28:38My read is we're very likely getting Tyler Huntley in this one. They're playing in Atlanta. It's a 43 and a half
28:43point total. Of course, Bejian's going to the very top of the mustart category.
28:47Derrick Henry, yeah, under Tyler Huntley, obviously, we should not expect as many efficient runs out of him. He's already not been super efficient this
28:53year. He's obviously scored a lot of touchdowns. He's had some big plays, but realistically, the O line is dealing with a bunch of injuries. Their their
28:59starting center, the backup center's hurt. Uh they got some guard play that's shaky right now. So, this is a Falcons run defense that's been very, very good
29:08as well. But, we've seen some games where Tyler Huntley started, you know, including last year, I think it was week 16 against the Packers where uh Huntley
29:14was starting, Derrick Henry ran for like 160 yards, four touchdowns. In incredible day o overall just like we're not overthinking uh Derrick Henry
29:22obviously, but I wouldn't be surprised if we did have like, you know, a day where he averaged 3.8, you know, 4.0
29:28yards per carry. And then Brian Robinson, like, yeah, he had a big game on Monday Night Football. Does he have standalone value? Like, no. That's
29:34that's fake. And then we get to Monday Night Football. Buffalo at the LA Rams.
29:39This is going to be a phenomenal game.
29:41You want as many pieces in this game as you could possibly get. They are in LA, so Buffalo's traveling cross country. Uh
29:47they're playing in the dome. A 54 12 point total here. The Bills are threepoint underdogs in this one. James Cook, of course, is going right into the
29:55mustart category. Kyron Williams has been a [ __ ] dog going into the mustart category. I don't really have much else to say about this game or any
30:02of the guys that you could possibly start. I think Blake Corm is like slowly creeping into the rather not and moving
30:08away from the shaky flex category because Kron Williams has been the goal line guy. He's been the guy getting a lot more carries. He's been catching the
30:16passes where Blake Corm has really done almost none of that. Uh and it's not like his calling card this year was
30:22going to be like, "Oh, he's going to look a lot more efficient than Kyron Williams on the ground and therefore get
30:25more rushing work." Also has not been the case. Kyron's just been just a blast off of a pick for whoever took him, you
30:31know, in the third, fourth round of their fantasy draft. So, sure, I I'll throw Blake Hormman into the bottom of the Chicky Flex category, but he will
30:37not be ranked highly for me this week.
30:40And that will wrap things up. Let me go into poster mode for you, and we can uh slowly scroll down all the rankings that
30:46we have here in terms of the tiers. The mustart category has 11 players here.
30:50And I think you could probably argue that Aaron Jones could be in there because of the number of touches and and
30:55opportunity that he is getting, but you know, the Vikings offense has looked terrible. Feels good. You've only got four players in there. Dub Flex, you've
31:02got nine players. Uh Shaky Flex 16 and then rather Knottfield with 12. So again, all the rankings will be available on the front end for fantasy
