A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection7:31

AJ Brown is ranked as the best available wide receiver on the board in this draft scenario and is preferred over other elite WR options like Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith.

Insight page
NegativeProjection38:00

A.J. Brown was drafted as a top wide receiver in Hribar's high-stakes $1M draft, selected in the early rounds.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeValue4:53

Both Ian Hartitz and Rich Hribar indicate they are good (comfortable passing) on Breece Hall at this stage of the draft, suggesting they do not view him as a priority pick in this range. Hall is tracking to be available for week one from an injury standpoint.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveRole26:33

Brian Thomas Jr. is the Jaguars' primary receiver going forward and will be the focal point of the passing game, with Travis Hunter relegated to backup status and primarily playing defense. Thomas is ranked among the top-tier wide receivers in Rich Hribar's evaluation alongside Marvin Harrison Jr., Chris Godwin, and Quentin Johnston.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeValue1:45

In FFPC tight-end premium scoring (1.5 PPR), Bowers typically goes at pick 107, not 105 as in standard leagues. This ADP bump reflects the scoring format advantage; in home leagues with regular PPR, he should not be considered at pick 105.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

NegativeValue22:29

Rich Hribar identifies Carnell Tate as marking a clear tier cutoff in wide receiver rankings; after Tate, there is a more defined separation from the earlier premium tier. In the draft, Tate is framed as 'the teardrop at wide receiver,' indicating he marks the end of the premium tier and the beginning of a less desirable group.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeValue4:03

Chase Brown is part of the elite tier of round-2 running backs, going at pick 12 in this draft alongside James Cook (pick 9), Jonathan Taylor (pick 10), and Kenneth Walker (pick 11).

Insight page

Chris Godwin

PositiveValue38:51

Rich Hribar ranks Godwin as his top-ranked wide receiver in his high-stakes $1M draft. Hribar uses Godwin as a comp for Jaden Reed, describing Reed as a younger version of Godwin, suggesting Godwin's proven production and role make him a premium WR target. Godwin is also ranked among the top-tier wide receivers alongside Marvin Harrison Jr., Brian Thomas Jr., and Jalen Hurts in Hribar's evaluation.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveValue1:15

McCaffrey at pick 105 offers ceiling comparable to top-tier WRs; outscored both top 2 WRs by 50 points last year. Rich Hribar prefers RB anchor strategy in round 1 because it provides flexibility in rounds 2–5 as top RBs deplete quickly, and McCaffrey specifically matches the ceiling of elite players while enabling WR/TE pivots later. Paired with Derrick Henry as a 30+ year-old running back strategy, providing double-digit touchdown upside when on the field. Selected first overall in Hribar's high-stakes $1M draft to anchor RB room alongside Omaran Hampton.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue20:17

Rich Hribar expresses strong preference for Christian Watson in round six, stating 'I love Christian Watson round six.' Watson is considered a strong option among available wide receivers in a tightly packed group where multiple receivers could smash. However, Hribar notes he sometimes prefers Parker Washington in the same range because it allows him to also target Jaden Reed and Matthew Golden without stacking too many Packers receivers on one team. Watson was drafted in round four alongside Ted McMillan in Hribar's high-stakes $1M draft.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveValue39:07

Available at a cheap draft price in Hribar's high-stakes $1M draft; Rich Hribar was comfortable passing on him early because he could acquire him later at such a discount, indicating strong value and availability on the board.

Insight page

Curtis Samuel

NegativeBust15:15

Samuel is listed among 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores drafted in the top 60 picks; this group has a very low NFL hit rate, indicating Samuel exemplifies a historically unsuccessful draft pattern.

Insight page

Dante Pettis

NegativeBust15:15

Pettis is grouped among 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores drafted in the top 60 picks; this cohort has a very low NFL hit rate, indicating Pettis exemplifies a historically unsuccessful draft pattern.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveProjection23:40

Rich Hribar views David Montgomery as a high-workload RB in an ideal scheme fit; he remains good at football whenever he plays. Montgomery is compared favorably to Joe Mixon a couple years ago, positioned to receive a high workload on a team with a great defense that will grind away touches and create touchdown opportunities, making him a tier above Josh Jacobs and Jaylen Warren in workload security.

Insight page

Demarcus Robinson

NegativeRole16:40

Demarcus Robinson is present on the 49ers depth chart but is not expected to be the limiting factor for Devon Stribbling's upside; his presence does not materially impact Stribbling's breakout potential.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection7:20

Derrick Henry is one of the top two available running backs on the board and is ranked among Rich Hribar's top two players available overall. He is preferred over Breece Hall as a running back option. Positioned as a viable 30+ year-old running back option alongside Christian McCaffrey; expected to score double-digit touchdowns if healthy, justifying the aging back strategy despite typical concerns about older players.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveValue22:21

Rich Hribar ranks DeVonta Smith highest among available wide receivers in this range, ahead of Jaylen Waddle, Gabe Davis, and Zay Flowers, though he notes the gap is not huge and acknowledges other receivers in the tier could finish as WR1s.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeValue22:29

Rich Hribar groups DK Metcalf with Carnell Tate, Marvin Harrison Jr., BTJ, and Quentin Johnston as part of a tier where a clearer ranking cutoff begins, indicating these receivers are in a lower tier than the earlier premium group.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeProjection40:00

Drake Maye was drafted off the board in Hribar's high-stakes $1M draft, selected before the clock reached Hribar's turn.

Insight page

Ezekiel Elliott

NegativeBust31:59

Historical comparison illustrating how even elite talent can deteriorate rapidly; speaker notes the dramatic loss of elite athleticism: 'two years of him having breakaway speed and then it was just gone,' showing how Zeke's breakaway speed vanished after an initial peak.

Insight page

Gabriel Davis

NegativeValue22:21

Rich Hribar groups Gabe Davis with Jaylen Waddle and Zay Flowers as interchangeable options in this wide receiver tier, with minimal ranking separation and potential for any to finish as WR1s.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeProjection19:56

Wilson is projected to smash as long as Gino Smith remains the starting QB, but there is a late-season availability concern. Rich Hribar worries Wilson might not be on the field in the final month of the year due to potential injury or other factors, creating a ceiling risk despite strong mid-season upside.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveProjection29:16

Ranked higher than Devonte Adams and Mike Evans by Rich Hribar; positioned in same tier as Tee Higgins with upside potential. If season goes well, could score 10-12 touchdowns and compete in top-20 WR range; structured for arbitrage value based on arc-type similarity.

Insight page

Henry Ruggs

NegativeBust15:15

Ruggs is listed among 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores drafted in the top 60 picks; this group has a very low NFL hit rate, suggesting Ruggs fits a historically unsuccessful draft archetype.

Insight page

Jack Bech

NegativeBust15:15

Besh is included in a cohort of 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores drafted in the top 60 picks; this group has a very low NFL hit rate, indicating Besh exemplifies a historically unsuccessful draft pattern.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeDepth Chart35:07

Rich Hribar identifies Price as a 'firewall' running back—a consistent depth chart marker that signals the end of the premium RB tier and the beginning of a less desirable group. Price was drafted before Hribar's team in this high-stakes $1M draft.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveValue34:07

Ranked among the top-tier wide receivers in Rich Hribar's evaluation alongside Marvin Harrison Jr., Chris Godwin, and Brian Thomas Jr.; positioned as a core target in the early-to-mid draft rounds.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection3:08

Cook has ceiling potential near CMC/top-tier RBs if not for Josh Allen red-zone vulturing (6–8 rushing TDs inside the 5-yard line). Receiving work expected to increase this year due to Bills' tougher schedule and need to throw more; while his rushing attempts will decline, his receiving work is projected to increase significantly. Despite the trade-off, Cook's overall fantasy efficiency should improve because his catches are more valuable than his runs. Efficiency gains from increased receptions could push him to 40+ PPR points, making him significant value in round 2.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveValue14:21

Jameson Williams is identified as part of the top tier of wide receivers, alongside Roma Dunay, DJ Moore, and Parker Washington, after which there is a notable fall-off in receiver quality and production profile. Represents a strong early-round option.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection25:07

Jared Goff is a reliable quarterback option; the Lions' schedule features largely indoor games with their first true outdoor game in week 17. Even in week 18 outdoor conditions, Goff threw for over 300 yards in Chicago last year, demonstrating he can perform in adverse weather. This makes him a solid late-round target.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

NegativeValue36:00

Rich Hribar ranks Jaden Reed highest among Packers WRs and compares him favorably to Chris Godwin as a younger version. Hribar prefers Reed over Matthew Golden to avoid stacking three Packers receivers, but views Reed as a strong draft value with upside. Reed is positioned in the secondary tier of wide receivers below the top group (Harrison, Godwin, BTJ, Hurts), but Hribar expresses confidence in his potential.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveValue22:39

Rich Hribar ranks Jaylen Waddle second-highest among available wide receivers in this range, behind only DeVonta Smith. Hribar confirms he is cool with Waddle at this spot and notes Waddle is not coming back from injury, supporting the pick. Waddle was selected as part of the team's first-team all-hype wide receiver group through five rounds.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveProjection38:00

Rich Hribar ranks Rico Dowel slightly higher due to touchdown upside, but views both Steelers RBs as capable of smashing. Warren can handle goal-line work and both will catch passes, making them largely interchangeable borderline RB2s if healthy. Aaron Rodgers' checkdown tendency benefits both backs.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury4:59

Jeremiah Love is dealing with a high ankle sprain, a significant injury concern affecting his draft value and availability.

Insight page

Jonathan Mingo

NegativeBust15:15

Mingo is grouped among 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores drafted in the top 60 picks; Rich Hribar notes this is the third Shanahan guy in this cohort, and the group has a very low NFL hit rate, indicating Mingo exemplifies a historically unsuccessful draft pattern.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeInjury4:03

Jonathan Taylor's injury news has created uncertainty about his draft positioning and role clarity. While the initial injury report was not season-ending, the team has not released detailed information about the nature or timeline of the injury, leaving questions about whether he will miss games early in the season. Taylor is being projected to fall into the early part of round three in ADP, but there is concern that the market may be overreacting positively to the 'better news' without full clarity on his availability. Court date set for November 17th creates risk of mid-season impact during fantasy playoffs.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeProjection5:36

Josh Jacobs faces significant off-field legal uncertainty affecting draft strategy. A court date is set for November 17th, creating the risk of mid-season suspension or legal consequences during the fantasy playoffs; the NFL's typical approach of waiting for the legal process to run its course means there is potential for in-season impact. Rich Hribar is waiting for legal clarity before recommending a draft position. If a six-game suspension occurs, projections place him in the RB16-RB20 range for full season when accounting for replacement value in opening games. Additional inefficiency concerns and offensive line questions create downside. The timing of the court date during the fantasy season makes Jacobs a risky proposition despite double-digit touchdown upside when healthy; Rich Hribar prefers to avoid and let others deal with the risk.

Insight page

Kadarius Toney

NegativeBust15:15

Toney is listed among 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores drafted in the top 60 picks; this group has a very low NFL hit rate, indicating Toney exemplifies a historically unsuccessful draft pattern.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeValue4:03

Kenneth Walker is part of the elite tier of round-2 running backs, going at pick 11 in this draft alongside James Cook (pick 9), Jonathan Taylor (pick 10), and Chase Brown (pick 12).

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeValue28:15

Rich Hribar targets Pitts as one of three premium tight ends (alongside Noah Fant and Leaporta) in a tight-end premium league format; willing to wait and see if one of these options falls back rather than reaching early. Conditional target if available in later rounds.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveBreakout20:17

Rich Hribar ranks Burden highest among available wide receivers. Ben Johnson has praised Burden effusively, describing him in glowing terms as a coach would his own child, signaling strong organizational confidence and potential for high offensive involvement. Burden is expected to be fine for week one and represents a strong value pick in this draft range.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveProjection32:56

Rich Hribar argues Marvin Harrison Jr.'s draft value is suppressed due to his injury-plagued 2024 season; if he had remained healthy with Jacob Cobb (as Michael Wilson did), he would have posted 'upside wide receiver two numbers' and would 'be going round four or five pretty consistently.' Evidence includes strong performance when Brissett took over (6 for 70 in first half vs. Tampa Bay before ankle injury), suggesting significant upside if healthy.

Insight page

Mecole Hardman

NegativeBust15:15

Hardman is cited as one of 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores who were drafted in the top 60 picks; the group has a very low hit rate, suggesting the archetype of low-production college players rising in draft capital rarely succeeds in the NFL.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveProjection32:55

Used as a comparison point for Marvin Harrison Jr.'s potential; Wilson finished as a WR2 in the final nine weeks of 2024, and speaker argues Harrison could have achieved similar 'upside wide receiver two numbers' if he had remained healthy with Jacob Cobb, suggesting an alternate timeline where Harrison's draft value would be significantly higher.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury25:43

Mike Evans is dealing with health issues heading into the season; Rich Hribar expresses reluctance to stack two 49ers receivers (Evans and another) who are both dealing with injury concerns, suggesting injury risk is a material factor in his evaluation.

Insight page

Noah Fant

NegativeValue28:15

Rich Hribar targets Fant as one of three premium tight ends (alongside Kyle Pitts and Leaporta) in a tight-end premium league format; willing to wait and see if one of these options falls back rather than reaching early. Conditional target if available in later rounds.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue14:21

Rich Hribar identifies Parker Washington as part of the top tier of wide receivers alongside Roma Dunay, DJ Moore, and Jameson Williams, after which there is a notable fall-off in receiver quality and production profile. Washington is positioned for breakout upside in the Jaguars' opening two months; with Brian Thomas Jr. as the primary receiver, Washington faces a favorable early schedule against Denzel Ward, Patrick Surtain, Christian Gonzalez, DJ Turner, Quinlan Mitchell, Derek Stingley, and Sauce Gardner—a tough gauntlet that actually favors Washington as the secondary option. Travis Hunter playing primarily defense (3x more snaps on defense than offense) rather than competing at receiver further improves Washington's opportunity. Hribar sometimes prefers Washington over Christian Watson in round six because it allows him to also target Jaden Reed and Matthew Golden without stacking too many Packers receivers on one team, suggesting Washington offers similar value with better roster construction flexibility.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury30:30

Suspension risk creates draft uncertainty; Rich Hribar notes that Sheffer raised Puka's name in suspension discussions and wonders if he could be docked a game or two, which could cause him to fall to the back of round one. However, Hribar is not buying the theory that the Puka trade signals suspension concerns. The potential mid-season suspension timing mirrors the Zeke precedent, which was 'devastating' to fantasy value.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeValue14:33

Rich Hribar expresses hesitation about Quentin Johnston as a weekly starter, noting uncertainty about his reliability on a week-to-week basis; Johnston is positioned as a bench/bye-week fill-in option rather than a consistent starter, suggesting limited confidence in his production profile.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

PositiveValue22:02

Ian Hartitz uses Rasheed Rice as a positive example of a wide receiver to target in this range, contrasting him favorably with Josh Jacobs as a more desirable pick.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeValue34:32

Speaker expresses strong preference for Laporte at this draft position, stating 'I really hope Sam Leaport is there,' indicating he views Laporte as a target pick at this juncture. Speaker also expresses concern that publicly stating this preference might cause other 'fancy guys' to target him, suggesting Laporte is undervalued relative to speaker's internal ranking.

Insight page
NegativeInjury38:03

Drafted in round 6 of Hribar's high-stakes $1M draft as the fifth/ninth tight end off the board. He suffered a hip contusion in preseason but returned; Hribar and co-host note it was just a contusion (wind knocked out of him) and teams are appropriately cautious during ramp-up periods with soft tissue injuries expected. The injury is not a long-term concern.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeProjection38:00

Saquon Barkley was drafted early in Hribar's high-stakes $1M draft, selected in the opening round alongside Christian McCaffrey.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeProjection38:00

Stefon Diggs was drafted as a top wide receiver in Hribar's high-stakes $1M draft, selected in the early rounds.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveProjection29:16

Ranked higher than Devonte Adams and Mike Evans by Rich Hribar; positioned in same tier as George Pickens with upside potential. If season goes well, could score 10-12 touchdowns and compete in top-20 WR range; structured for arbitrage value based on arc-type similarity.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeRole29:16

Mentioned as part of Reeves' top-tier WR rankings, though context is pre-Daniels situation; tier ranking may have shifted with QB change.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

NegativeRole26:33

Travis Hunter is primarily running as Brian Thomas Jr.'s backup at receiver; snap counts show he plays defense 3x more than offense, which makes sense given the Jaguars' strong wide receiver room and weak quarterback situation. This defensive focus significantly limits his offensive upside in 2025.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeInjury36:12

Tucker Kraft's snap count status remains murky heading into the season. Ten days before this recording, Kraft indicated he would likely be on a snap count until halfway through the season; however, he subsequently stated 'I'm not doing the rep count stuff anymore,' which Rich Hribar characterizes as vague and potentially misleading. Hribar notes Kraft could still be limited to 80% of snaps instead of 90%, making his actual role and availability unclear. The Packers' cautious injury management approach compounds this uncertainty.

Insight page

Van Jefferson

NegativeBust15:15

Jefferson is grouped among 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores drafted in the top 60 picks; this cohort has a very low NFL hit rate, suggesting Jefferson fits a historically unsuccessful draft archetype.

Insight page

Xavier Legette

NegativeBust15:15

Legette is grouped among 14 wide receivers since 2000 with sub-50th percentile college production scores drafted in the top 60 picks; this cohort has a very low NFL hit rate, suggesting Legette fits a historically unsuccessful draft archetype.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeValue22:21

Rich Hribar groups Zay Flowers with Gabe Davis and Jaylen Waddle as interchangeable options in this wide receiver tier, with minimal ranking separation and potential for any to finish as WR1s.

0:00drafting for 1 million American doll hairs over in the FFP streets. Ian Hardich and Rich Reebar back at it.
0:08Sharp football analysis. Just just a great guy overall. What's going on, Reeves?
0:12>> What's going on, brother? It's uh good to see you. I haven't seen you for a couple weeks. I've kind of just checked
0:16in with you all summer. Every couple weeks we've run into each other. So, it's nice to get one more in uh under
0:21our belt and have a team that we can have some fun with. uh they come up I like I've been talking about for a
0:25couple weeks like it's really great to come out of the best ball streets and just talk about managed leagues man >> baseball's awesome I get the allure not
0:34having to you know juggle these 20 plus teams throughout the season and wanting to have a life and everything but it's
0:40where my heart is read that's the thing when everyone's like what's your favorite form of fantasy like how can I not say reddraft
0:49>> yeah it's it's the absolute best man and then and like you said the the game theory changes is in manage and stuff
0:54because >> if we come away with like 10 or 11 of these players still on the roster at week 17 like we did well like it's you
1:02know I I like the MC's at management and the calibration a lot because that's like what I do at the worksheet is like
1:07a 100% you know constantly calibrating we're on the clock already at pick five >> drafting 105 team Dez caught it we've
1:14been team CMC Reeves you thinking that or you thinking Brock Bowers >> I'm good with either player here in FFPC I mean I typically like to side with the
1:22running back because the ceiling's so much higher. And then usually it gives you more flexibility in rounds two through five to kind of see how the
1:29board goes. Uh just because a lot of the good running backs will be gone by the time we come back on the clock again.
1:35>> CMC, I'm down.
1:36>> Yeah, let's do it. Let's do it. I mean, we play to win, man. We play to win.
1:40>> If he gets hurt, we're screwed. But, you know, it's like that old co Colts coach saying about Pton Manning. You know, we
1:45don't practice being effed. So, if it happens, it happens out here. Brock Bowers, by the way, guys, we are in the
1:50FFPC streets where his tight end premium. you get one and a half points per reception. So, please for the love of God in your home league drafts.
1:56That's just regular PPR. Do not consider Brock Bowers at the 105 right there. He goes usually 107 over here again in the
2:04tight end premium scoring and you will see the rest of them pushed up as well.
2:07But yeah, man. CMC Reeves, we've been in other drafts together throughout and you know, I've seen you take him at 103. I
2:13have also kind of just gone into that as well. Not that I'm that much more like I'm not going to go fight someone if
2:19they want to rank Jamar Chase or Puka over Christian, but it is one of those things that you mentioned where just
2:23structurally starting off and securing that running back really makes me feel better about the rest of the roster. I did I was one of the same people that
2:30opened up with Chase Puka at 342 as well and then as we've moved to like the 11th hour of drafts and the if you look at
2:37the way the drafts have kind of started to play out by segment of the draft you have basically picks one and two almost
2:43going with like a lot of anchor builds uh you get one of those top two running backs and the wide receivers just better
2:48than the running backs at you know two three and then four five and I just really found that the way that the top
2:5412 running backs have been going off the board if you take Chase Puka you're almost steered in a direction to go
2:59almost zero RB or wide receiver heavy.
3:02>> Uh and so I think taking McAffrey obviously he's the one guy that is the ceiling to match the top two guys. He
3:08beat he outscored both those guys by 50 points last year.
3:11>> Yeah.
3:11>> Uh and then also you just have like I said that that in that insulation of saying I can go wide receiver there. I
3:17can use him as an anchor or just have some flexibility to go wide receiver, running back or we're tight end will be
3:22in play here because of the uh tight end premium. James Cook would be close to I think having that type of ceiling if he
3:29just didn't have to deal with Josh Allen inside the five yard line. I think he could be that type of player though like
3:34that. It just he even with more receptions this year, he's still going to concede what uh six to eight like inside the five rushing touchdowns.
3:42>> It's really ridiculous. Him and Saquon Barkley pretty similar players too, man.
3:46Like we just we know that they can both catch the football. Saquon particularly, man. Not to take anything away from James, but in a different offense. I
3:54mean, we could have those guys right up there in the top five. We'll see if the receiving work for Cook does come to
3:58fruition. It sounds like Tai Johnson's good for week one. I think that was last update I caught.
4:03>> Yeah, it looks like he's trending to be that way. I I think James Cook too is just going to naturally concede some
4:07rushing attempts this year because I think the Bills are going to have to throw more. Uh not just through their changes, but they have a tougher
4:13schedule. And then he's gonna trade some I think in like not inefficient touches because his runs are efficient, but he's gonna have more fantasy, you know,
4:21efficiency because the catches uh are going to probably go up. So even if he gets to like that even 40 plus range,
4:27like that's pretty significant for him.
4:29>> Currently watching the Great Wall of RBs go as we enter round two. James Cook, Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, and Chase Brown picks 9, 10, 11.
4:37>> And this is what happens. Like I said, like when you get to the back third, you get a lot of running back running back
4:41starts. and that we've seen like that top 12 running backs basically be purged by the time you come back up in the
4:47middle. And the other thing that's happened this off seasonason is the top of the RB2 guys in ADP have kind of
4:53taken some hits this this like last few weeks. You know, Bree Hall looks like he's going to be on on track for week
4:59one. Jeremiah Love is the high ankle.
5:01Everyone's breaking down him carrying pizza boxes. Uh you know, and then we have the JT news which is I assume JT
5:07will go in like the middle here. I don't know how you're handling him. We just really haven't heard anything.
5:12>> I've got him more into early parts of round three. I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been any level of push back with
5:19it, man. I mean, I'm happy that he's alive and that's not going to be the season ending injury and every Yeah.
5:24Right. Like, I'm happy that it's better news, but it's still not ideal. And I feel like because it was so bad in the
5:30moment, everyone's just like, "Oh, okay.
5:31We're fine." And I don't know, man. Are we?
5:34>> Yeah. We don't That's the thing is they haven't released any news. It feels like they're almost going out of their way to
5:38not call it a high ankle sprain. Is he there's is it going to bleed into the season? Is he going to miss one game? Is
5:44he going to miss two? Like we don't really have any clarity right now because they don't have to tell us anything right now.
5:50>> And dude, like I'm not convinced that the Raiders are going to be this juggernaut offense either. So if we're going to have 85 or 90% Genty, certainly
5:56not going to help his cause there as well. Also, we are recording this on Thursday evening. So there's been the Josh Jacobs day all freaking I was
6:03planning on this reads. I was looking forward to this and at the 105 I was going to ask you if it was too early for
6:08Josh Jacobs. I had that joke ready to go and I just completely blanked on it. So I watched the film and get better there.
6:14I'm basically waiting for our resident fantasy football lawyer Drew Davenport to tell me how to react to it.
6:19>> Doesn't sound good, man. Certainly doesn't. But at the same time, I know the NFL moves slow on this. It does seem
6:24like maybe one of those situations where if the video does get released, we'll see something happen. I'm probably not going to be pounding the table for Josh
6:31Jacobs, but if someone was drafting tonight or Friday and we still have no new information, like what is the earliest that you'd be willing to take
6:38Jacobs, if at all?
6:39>> The the tricky thing is is that his court date is set for November 17th.
6:46>> So, like if the NFL chooses to say, "Well, we're just going to let the legal process run its course." That's
6:51typically been their MO is to wait. Now, if this video comes out that like it could just be exemplus or something, but
6:56>> right >> with the trial being November 17th, like you run the risk of like something happening in season now, >> uh especially for crunch time. So,
7:04that's the wild card I think that's different. Like, if he were to just suspension, >> if you were to tell me he was suspended
7:09the opening six games, I would almost guarantee you he'd be a value because I did this this whole study last year with
7:16the Rashi Rice suspension on how gamers overreact to suspensions. Uh we're like two picks up so we can talk about what
7:22we want to do here and circle back here.
7:24>> Absolutely. We're gonna have one of Hampton or Henry available. That would really lock up our running back spot. AJ Brown's my best wide receiver on the
7:31board. How are you feeling?
7:33>> Yeah, I mean we are looking at both those running backs being available.
7:36Those are my top two players available too in my own p personal rankings. So I would be fine with that.
7:42>> Uh we wouldn't have a receiver coming back until round three. Uh would we should have a decent choice of guys
7:49though?
7:50>> That's what I'm gonna say, man. The one for one tradeoff versus the wide receiver were here. I mean, look, I I
7:55prefer AJ Brown to Jaylen Wadd or Devonte Smith, but I certainly feel better about Derrick Henry or Martin Hampton compared to, you know, Bree
8:03Hall.
8:03>> I mean, starting CMC Henry, I would like Hampton uh of the two.
8:07>> There's neighbors.
8:08>> Would you Are you good with Hampton?
8:11>> Yeah, let's go Hampton.
8:12>> I mean, one 30 plus year old running back is fine. Twos a little after.
8:16>> I was going to say CMC CMC Henry is like the ultimate like boomer start like we could hope for.
8:22>> What year is this? Okay. Amaran Hampton.
8:24Good.
8:24>> Yeah, let's do Hampton.
8:26>> Getting this comp from Mike McDaniel.
8:29Let's go.
8:30>> Yeah. Circling back to that just thought I was on like so I did this study last year about how gamers tend to overreact
8:36to suspensions because they don't understand like replacement value. Like especially at the beginning of the year when your roster is theoretically the
8:42strongest it'll be. Uh there's no by-weeks yet until week five. So you're play, you know, you're drafting bench players that aren't necessarily like
8:49even waiverwire picks. You don't have injuries yet. So Josh Jacobs like theoret, if you look at my like projections, I even looked at this
8:57earlier. So if I gave him if I just ruled him out six games, the opening six games, and put in just baseline
9:02replacement value in that you would get in your lineup, and you'll probably get more because you're playing a guy that's a higher pick than like a waiverwire
9:09pick or something. Like he would still be the RB16 for the full season. like his 11 games plus replacement value. So
9:15like that's kind of where I'm kind of treating him as like that probably like docking him a couple spots based on that
9:20because what if his projection is just wrong. Uh you know he is a player that you know has some question marks. You
9:25know was a little bit inefficient last year. The offensive line's still not good. Do they just like do they want to
9:30play Marshon Lloyd a little bit? Uh, so I would say like the RB20 range and like RB if you're an RB needy team, but more
9:37or less now with just the trial being November, I'm probably gonna let someone else deal with it and just hope it
9:42doesn't beat me. I'm kind of with you there, too, because I feel like again, we're hearing about this alleged video and I'm talk I'm trying to read through
9:51it myself and some people are saying, is there actually a video of the incident or is it more so a video of after the
9:56incident occurred? We do not quite know what's going on here on it, >> right? just ridiculous. So, um we'll see exactly what the final verdict is with
10:04that. But I'm just worried, man, that if it is a really bad video, maybe it's not six games. Maybe they just freaking cut
10:10the guy and go play football again, >> right? And that's what we don't know because you know obviously the cream hunt thing was pretty that when that
10:17video came out because I remember the Chiefs kind of like didn't know what to do when that video came out and I
10:21remember like his boy remember like his boy grabbed him like he was running at that girl and I was like dude who no one
10:26knows what would happened like >> he had yeah his success rate wasn't high on that. His boy tackled him last you
10:33know last week he converted in short yardage all the time but >> his this his dude made a great call there.
10:39>> Didn't have that club in his bag back then. I guess. And then the Cleveland Browns said come on down because that's
10:44never gone wrong for them. Entering round three now guys. We had AJ Brown, Nico Collins, Chris Lave go off the board along with Ashen Genty and Coulson
10:51Lovelin after we scooped up Omaran Hampton. So again picking out the five holes. CMC Hampton start gives us a lot of flexibility. Reeves. We got our RB1,
10:59we got our RB2 spot. This is also FFPC.
11:01We're only starting two wide receivers.
11:03We do have two flexes. to summ. We're not trying to fall behind too much of the position or anything like that, but
11:08when you do have those three wide receiver starts, that's what I'm a lot more concerned about. Again, probably getting a wide receiver at least inside
11:15the first three rounds. We could still stick at running back. Everyone's afraid of these 30-year-old Reeves, but not us.
11:20>> I mean, I just look at when you get these guys I I always think the front of these drafts, I always think touchdown
11:24forward, and you know, you got two guys that are probably going to score double digit touchdowns, you know, if they're on the field. So, that's what I love,
11:31man. And this just gives us the option to just like bury wide receiver now.
11:35Like we can just go hard at wide receiver like the next few rounds. And this is where I think wide receiver is
11:39the best like rounds three through six.
11:42>> It's literally why I just want to be in auctions this year because I'm in reddraft mode where it's like I can only
11:46take one of these guys. I want them all.
11:48But Derrick Henry is officially off the board. You're not really a Javvante Williams guy this year. Are you Reeves?
11:54>> Not so much, but like I get the allure.
11:56He just feels like a safe pick and like in this range I almost always have two running backs. Uh, so I'm more looking
12:02at wide receivers typically when his ADP comes up, but I get I get the the process behind him because he's another
12:06guy you can say is going to score double digit touchdowns.
12:10>> Trey McBride and uh Coulson loven off the board. So we're not looking at a tight end here. I'm good on Bree Hall.
12:17Sounds like we're both good with wide receivers. So Devonte Smith, Jaylen Wadd, Lab Makoni, Zay Flowers, T.
12:22Higgins, Rasheed Rice, some of the top guys out there. I mean, why, you know, why mess around with Josh Jacobs when we
12:27can draft an upstanding citizen like Rasheed Rice? You know what I'm saying?
12:30So, I prefer not to go that route. Who's kind of your favorite pick here, Reeves?
12:34>> Again, I like all these guys and I think we'll probably look back in February and say like, "Oh, did you get all these
12:39guys in the right order?" Uh, I hope so.
12:41Uh, but if you could sell me on any of these guys, I'm in on all of them. I personally have Dvonte Smith ranked the
12:46highest, but I it's not like a huge gap to where like if you like I like Glad or you like Zay, like I'd be like, "Okay,
12:54>> there goes Devonte Smith." All right. I have >> that gamer knew as well. Yeah, right.
12:59They're listening. We actually are not live on this, but I'm I'm maybe my office is bugged. I have Jaylen Wadd ranked the next highest, but again, I
13:06have him, Lad, and Z. You're cool at Waddle.
13:09>> Yeah, I'm definitely cool. Like, he's not coming back either. So, if like you have him at this spot, like go ahead and
13:13push the button.
13:14>> Jaylen Wadd, come on down.
13:18that whole that whole like wide receiver uh 12 to maybe to wide receiver 28 29.
13:25You could you could tell me six to eight guys could finish as a wide receiver one in that range and I would I wouldn't
13:30even blink. I'd say yeah I see it for that P I see that player achieving.
13:35>> I have 18 wide receiver ones in my top 12 as we approach September. So always the optimistic error for sure. No, I I
13:42hear you, man. And it is a I will say like once I get though I like how you said wide receiver 28
13:49because that is about it because once I get to Carnell Tate, Marvin Harrison Jr., BTJ, Quinton Johnson, DK Metaf.
13:57>> Y >> that's honestly the Don Stribbling stuff what made me kind of actually boost him up the ranks. I'm curious where you got
14:04him to. I think I ended up at wide receiver 38. But if someone want to say I want him ahead of Carnell Tate or
14:10Marvin Harrison Jr. I mean it's not egregious. I do think there's starting to be more of a cut off there after you
14:16know yours. I know you're a little bit higher on the uh you know older wide receiver bats and for good reason. We're
14:21going to be ranking them higher but Roma Dunay DJ Moore Jameson Williams Parker Washington like once we get past those guys I do think there's a bit of a
14:28fall-off.
14:29>> Same. I I typically like to have four wide receivers by that point. Mhm.
14:33>> Uh, you know, because then you're looking at maybe potentially having to play one of those other guys regularly and they're not they're more bets like
14:41you would like them for like insulation.
14:42Like if this player pops, I got on my bench and then I got value or like he's good enough to throw in a by-week. You
14:48got the upside still. But like on a weekly level, you're like I don't know how I feel about Quinton Johnson every
14:53week, man. But uh yeah, I mean dribbling is an interesting case. Like I I was talking with JJ about this. Uh it's just
15:00like there's not a lot of examples of this happening like this type of player that has a very low production profile
15:05coming in the NFL. The and this is not to start a holy war versus like film versus analytics because I've actually
15:10come probably around the other side where I incorporate more football knowledge into my analysis at all, but like >> the the NFL has a very low hit rate when
15:18they take the hubris of the guy of like we think he's better than what he played in college. like the so for an example
15:25since 2000 there are 14 other wide receivers that have a a lower than a 50th percentile production score in my my model Javon Stribbling is a he's 44th
15:35percentile the players on that list the other 14 are Micole Hardman and they were taken in the top 60 picks sorry I
15:41should caveat this uh Micole Hardman Xavier Legette Curtis Samuel Ricky Pieraw Christian Watson Jeremy Bernard who's also TBD Jack Besh Van Jefferson
15:50Cadarius Tony Adai Mitchell Dante Pettis Henry Rugs, Alec Pearson, Jonathan Mingo. This is the third Shanahan guy if if you heard me on the first. So, he's
16:00been in this thing like very low hit right here. And then we also have another thing in play here is like when
16:05have we had a guy rise this much in the preseason like to this degree, >> right?
16:10>> And there's not a lot of this uh like cuz me and JJ were trying to pull stuff.
16:14Lad Mani got up to wide receiver 43 as a rookie, but even he had a little bit better production profile and also had a
16:20cleaner path to targets. The other thing we haven't seen is Devon Stribbling hasn't played in any two wide receiver sets in preseason
16:27>> and CMC George KD and Mike Evans haven't played. So like >> even Demarcus Robinson has it and I don't think Robinson is going to be the
16:34reason why dribbling doesn't boom or anything like that but 110 and a tad in that wild card game like he is going to
16:40be starting probably in three wide receiver sets. and and I have a lot of scribbling from rookie drafts just because I was taking it on principle of
16:46just draft capital and where he landed.
16:48And >> it just feels like I've got enough at like a really great price that I don't need to go all the way up the board
16:54anymore.
16:55>> I got you. I I will say the one thing that kind of helped change my mind though too is I I don't really know if
17:01he's going to be amazing. I think it's been good to see him make some plays in the preseason. I will say some dots by
17:06M. Jones in there, right? It's not like he's exactly, you know, just 10 yards of separation every single play, but he's
17:11played he's played good and everything.
17:13I'm not trying to take that away. But I started going through the Kendrick Bourne 142 yard games, the Richie James masterass. Jawan Jennings is a good wide
17:21receiver. Okay. I don't think he's a special talent. And he was going for 175 and three TDs out there. So, I'm just
17:26like, if those guys can get it done, why can't on stribbling?
17:30>> Yeah, that's the thing is you need the runway cleared. Now, what I will say about dribbling is if you are going to
17:34bet a guy on a guy with like that low percentage of like hit rate, this would be the setup, right? Like he's got Pie,
17:40he's got Kyle Shanahan, and all the other pass catchers on the roster are on the wrong age of the apex and have their
17:47own injury history as well. So, the setup is there. Like, I get the bullcase. It's just that I have so much
17:52cheap dribbling that I'm like, "All right." Like, you know, I don't have to go I don't have to chase it still.
17:55>> I got you. I got you. All right, guys.
17:58Entering round four now. After we picked, we did have team eight actually double up on tight ends, which does make sense at least, you know, a little bit
18:04more in tight end premium with Trey McBride and Tyler Warren. We had Bree Hall, Jeremiah Lovka right after us. So, they are mid-round three picks despite
18:11having their respective injuries. Again, probably going to be out there in week one. So, no reason to downgrade them too far. Rasheed Rice, Lab Maki, Z Flowers,
18:18Amecha Ibuka, and T. Higgins, some of the next wide receivers off the board.
18:22I've soured on Ibuka a little bit, man.
18:24The toe thing doesn't help. And this also just when I look at these wide receivers, the one versus the two, it's
18:29like Makoni versus QJ. I'm confident it's going to be Lad. Z and Baitman.
18:33Even though I still love Baitman, it's definitely going to be Z. Goblin Ibuka is the one where I'm like, if that was
18:38Goblin leading the way, we shouldn't be shocked.
18:42>> Yeah, I can see it. My My whole thing with Ibuka, who I opened up pretty high on, is just that I feel like this group
18:47of receivers is so tightly packed and injuries are going to find you anyways in the season. Like, why take the guy
18:53who's already dealing with something?
18:54Yep.
18:56>> Like, >> yeah, it's enough of a tiebreaker, man.
18:58So, >> right.
18:59>> But he has fallen a little bit because there he was really the guy that was getting juiced like uh in our Apex
19:05draft. I think he went wide receiver 12.
19:07This is pretoe injury u the league that we do with all the other degenerates.
19:12>> Yeah, I got Jacobs round five. I thought that was a sick pick.
19:15>> It still could be. You never know.
19:17>> We'll see. All right, we're gonna be up in two picks here. I have Luther Burden, Tedro McMillan, Garrett Wilson, Christian Watson, Parker Washington as
19:25the best wide receivers available. What are your thoughts here, Reeves?
19:29>> Yep. Still the same bucket. Like I'm good with all of these guys. Again, this is why I feel like this is the strength.
19:33Like you I like you could tell me all these like any of these players smashed.
19:36I'm like, "Yep, there's the pathway for it." Uh we drafted in at in the spot yesterday and we took Jameson, we were
19:45at one though and took Jameson Williams and Christian Watson uh in the spot.
19:49Burton didn't make it to us, but we were in agreement if Burden would have got there, we would have taken him.
19:53>> Yeah, >> Garrett Wilson. He's gonna be okay.
19:56>> Very I think Garrett Wilson is gonna smash as for as long as Gino Smith plays. I'm just a little concerned that
20:01final month of the year we might not get him. Uh we might not get on the field and he's gone anyway, so it's fine.
20:07>> Burden versus T-Mac, Watson, and Parker. I have Burden ranked the highest.
20:14I have McMillan the highest, but I have no qualms of, like I said, going with uh Burden here either. I mean, anytime Ben
20:21Johnson's had a chance to talk about Luther Burden, like he's basically talking about him like a child, like one of his own kids.
20:28>> We love the offense a lot more. I don't I think he's fine for week one.
20:32Everything we've heard and seen with the injury, >> I'm not too concerned about it. I was a little bit down on Tet to open, but this
20:38proof of concept with him actually playing like in the slot, I think is actually massive for his floor.
20:45>> You cool with calling Burton?
20:47>> Yeah. Yeah, I'm good with it.
20:48>> Let's go Luke Burton.
20:50>> Yeah, let's have some fun after the CMC pick, right? Like, let's get some fun upside, guys.
20:54>> I It's not that I don't think Ted McMillan's a good player. I just Man, Bryce, why does it have to be such a
21:00struggle to throw for 3,000 yards, you know? number two. Why why can't you throw for 200 yards in a game, Bree
21:06Bryce?
21:06>> That's that's all I'm saying. So, and look, Bryce has flashed and maybe it was funny. I was talking with uh Sam Holton
21:12Jagger today. We did a show and we were kind of talking Straoud versus Bryce and Sam brought up a good point where she
21:18was saying, you know, Bryce recently he's in the rookie year. Straoud versus Bryce wasn't even close, but they've kind of it's been Stra going downhill
21:26and Bryce coming up and they're starting to get, you know, pretty close really with where they are here entering year four. So maybe Bryce keeps on ascending.
21:34It's still not exactly a juggernaut offense though in terms of the playmakers. The offensive lines being banged up. Maybe was it Brad Idzik is
21:42taking over and every play caller who takes over is going to be awesome because it's August and we have to, you
21:46know, do that whole thing. But I don't know, man. It's just Panthers, Jets, and Cardinals. I don't have to draft them.
21:53I'd just rather not.
21:54>> Yeah, they they I think they have the fourth worst win total. Uh I think they're favored in four games right now.
21:59Now, the offensive line, they already have had a bunch of injuries this off seasonason. They've lost starters and potential starters that have shaken up
22:06the offense. And listen, this is a make or break year for for Bryce Young. Like, he's on the fifth year option. Who and
22:11this head coach has already benched him once when there was a lot more meat on the bone. Like, what's the >> Andy Dalton didn't get in that car wreck
22:18Reeves. Who's to say if Bryce Young is even still in the Panthers?
22:21>> Yeah. I mean, who's to say that they he just doesn't give him a couple months and says like, dude, like we're like,
22:26I'm just ready to move on. Like, >> hey, we got >> we got Super Bowl champion Kenny Picket waiting in the wings here, you know.
22:33>> No, we're Hannes King to run around, man.
22:36>> Oh my god.
22:37>> Are you uh Jack Strand curious?
22:40>> I mean, just what a It makes it just reinforces how good of a coach I actually still believe Mike McDaniel is.
22:47That >> Oh, >> because think about this. the last three years. I brought this data up before he probably sick of it, but Tua has had a
22:55higher touchdown rate than Patrick Mahomes each of the past three years.
22:58Like, and even in Tua's prime, it's just like, all right, you can see so clearly Tyreek and McDaniel doing I, you know, he
23:06played some good football. I don't want to completely trash the guy, but my god, Tedro McMillan, Christian Watson rounding out round four. We did get Josh
23:15Jacobs to go one pick after us.
23:18had a VP like no discount in this draft.
23:20Like he went where he's been going, >> dude. I think that guy probably could have waited until round five if you
23:24really wanted to do that. I don't know.
23:26>> I see why he started off Puka, AJB, and Devonte Smith.
23:35>> You could have taken >> Let me ask you this. How far away, let's assume Josh Jacobs is like fully in the
23:40whole year. How far away do you still think he is from like David Montgomery?
23:45I think he's closer to Jamonte Williams because I'm I'm a believer in the Packers offense.
23:49>> I would view them as like a the nesting doll like the Josh Jacobs into Javvante into David Montgomery. So like why not
23:57take the one of the guys with just no questions?
24:00>> Yeah, I hear you there. Are you buying this 50-50 split with uh Deont?
24:05>> No.
24:06>> No.
24:07Wow. No with a laugh.
24:09>> No. I mean, I I think Woody Marks is is a fine like player to come in, but like I think David Montgomery is still good
24:15at football. Anytime he played last year, he was still good. Uh and he he's in a scheme fit. I think he's like Joe
24:21Mixon a couple years ago. He can come in and just have a high workload on a team that has a great defense, put him in
24:27position to score touchdowns and grind away touches, right?
24:30>> That Joe Mixon here, he had some off the- field stuff going on before he ended up actually playing and doing
24:36good. So, we'll see what happens with Josh Jacobs. Not on this team, though.
24:41>> Yeah, JMO's one of those guys, man, where I haven't been drafting a lot of them, and then I look at it, I'm like,
24:46why haven't I been drafted more? He's a fade that scares the crap out of me.
24:51>> Yeah, I mean, we just know where the ceiling lies. Electric player like >> and and everyone's talking about telling you about the Lions and their their
24:58schedule and their all their indoor games and >> Yep.
25:02>> I think you gave me that stat at first.
25:03I've been just relentlessly stealing it ever since. But, you know, that's fair.
25:07>> First true outdoor game, week 17. And even then, man, it's one of those week 18 blind spots, but golf threw for over
25:14300 in Chicago week 18 last year. Like, it's possible.
25:18>> Yeah. I mean, golf is like the firewall.
25:19You can keep punting quarterback and still get golf and be I think it's fine.
25:23Like the opening six weeks for him are awesome. Largely the whole season looks good for him.
25:28>> Okay. What wide receivers do you have in the rest of this tier? There goes Quinnon Judkins. I have it. Parker
25:33Washington, Devonte Adams, Mike Evans, Terry McLaren, Roma Dunce.
25:37>> Yep. That's the same bucket I have. I mean, we already took CMC. Obviously, Mike Evans is dealing with stuff. So, do
25:43we want to deal with two 49ers dudes that are dealing with all those things?
25:46>> No.
25:46>> Yeah. So, we have Terry McLaren. I have David Montgomery as like one of the better players that available. We don't
25:51really need him. Uh, >> are you on Parker Washington? The dude wears he's got two ones on his number.
25:57That's how good he is.
25:58>> And he's got the the chopped wood tattoo. Carrie Water.
26:02>> This is also a spot where we could probably push Leaporta, but like this is a spot, too. I'd be looking at Leaporta.
26:09>> I'm fine. I want to get one more wide receiver.
26:10>> Let's do receiver. We do. You're right.
26:12You're right. Let's do wide receiver.
26:14>> You cool, Parker?
26:15>> Yeah, let's do it.
26:16>> Parker [ __ ] Washington. Let's go.
26:20Let's go. Reeves >> with all the all the fun upside guys.
26:27>> What could go wrong?
26:28>> What could go wrong?
26:30look back when we're one and five in October, it's like, oh yeah, maybe round four, Luther Burton and round five, Parker Washington. Uh, you know,
26:38>> but I do think >> not quite as good in hindsight.
26:40>> I do think the way the opening two months sets up for the Jaguars, it sets up for Parker Washington the best.
26:46>> Yep.
26:46>> Because you know, yeah, I mean, we've talked about it. You know, BTJ is going to be primary ex now. I mean, they open
26:54Denzel Ward, Patrick Certan, Christian Gonzalez, DJ Turner, Quinan Mitchell, Derek Stingley, bi-week sauce gardener.
27:01Like, >> geez, >> I that's a tough gauntlet for the exceiver. Like, that's a real tough run.
27:07>> Man, >> yeah, just real quick on the Travis Hunter stuff because I was more interested in him earlier this off
27:13seasonason finding out that he's only basically running as BTJ's backup. I mean, to me, that's just such better news for Parker Washington, too.
27:21Yeah, there's that one account and I I apologize for not knowing that the handoff to Tom had is literally done a
27:26daily snap count of Travis playing offense and defense and it's like three times as high on defense than is an offense. And it makes sense when you
27:35look at their roster. They're strong at wide receiver >> and they're really weak at quarterback.
27:39Like it's as simple as that, right? Like is it not just as simple as that?
27:43>> Exactly, man. It always just made sense from a depth chart perspective to kind of connect the dots that way. So, you
27:48know, we'll live and learn. maybe not draft a quarterback as uh often next season. So, I will take the early L on
27:55that, but you know, we'll see what happens. Get a couple spike weeks.
27:57>> No, I think there will still be a spike.
27:59I really like that he's gotten a lot stronger this offseason. Um and granted, he had a leg injury, so all he could do
28:05is lift weights, but uh you know, because I do think down the line, like their wide receiver room won't be as
28:11strong as this is, and there will be other opportunities down the line for him to play more wide receiver. It just
28:162026 sets up for him to play more defense.
28:20through five rounds. Christian McCaffrey, Omaran Hampton to fill out the RB room. Jaylen Wadd, Luther Burton, and Parker Washington. Just taking the
28:27first team all hype wide receiver group for this squad. I'm feeling pretty good, Reeves. Again, this is tight end premium. So, we are going to be taking a
28:34long look at one of Pitts, Fen, and Leaporta if they happen to make it back to us. But that would be the one spot
28:41that I would say we're, you know, pushing the envelope a little bit. So, we'll see if we can get there. I'm fine
28:46being the last team to get a quarterback. In fact, I prefer it.
28:50>> Oh, yeah. And the great thing about these with, like I said, trans transitioning from best ball to manage is the quarterbacks are way more spread
28:57out than they are in a best where you have like that title wave of everyone trying to get their stacks, get their
29:02backup, align all those things. You don't have to do that here. You can draft one. You can take two if you need
29:08to. Most teams still will take two.
29:09You'll get a couple threes here, but you can absolutely wait more like you would uh in a regular league, which I love.
29:16>> Devonte Adams off the board. Reeves, you've been writing some freaking banger articles all the time, but you know, I was reading your uh wide receiver tears
29:24piece and you had Adams, Evans, I know those two were really high for you. I think Terry might have been as well, but
29:30it was pre-dig situation. You holding firm on that? You holding firm though with Evans and uh Adams top 20? Yeah, because I still think when you look at
29:37the run out like if because I think again you you price in the the risk with these guys. You understand what you're
29:43buying, but I have them in the same tier of like if the season goes well for these guys with, you know, T. Higgins,
29:49right? Like you know, and almost George Pickins, I have those guys higher than Evston Adams. But these are guys that could theoretically score
29:57>> 10 12 touchdowns and, you know, be in that range, just get by on touchdown production. And you know, in terms of
30:03Evans, he could just outright be the the the team wide receiver one. So, uh, yeah, I think from an upside standpage,
30:09you have to price in still the risk with these guys, uh, I am lower in rankings than my tiers, but I always structure my
30:14tiers based on where you can get potential arbitrage, right? Uh, like player arc types, and I think from an arc type stance, they are very adjacent
30:21to a T. Higgins and a George Pickins. I mean, with Adams, I remember kind of digging into the Rams when I do my team
30:27previews, and I was just expecting to see this ridiculous efficient touchdown endzone target rate, and it really wasn't, man. He just he had 10 more end
30:35zone targets than the next closest dude.
30:37So, he went 50/50 on him, and that was fine. So, really just was again, the Rams, they threw the ball more inside
30:45the five or 10 yard line they had previously, but it wasn't super egregious. They just focused so much of it on Devonte Adams. So, are you uh at
30:53all worried about the Puka suspension? I saw some people saying that two being traded there could be a sign about the
31:00Puka. I'm not I'm not buying that part, but you know, Sheffer did throw Puka's name in there, and I do wonder if he can
31:06get docked a game or two or something, you know.
31:07>> I mean, it would be great if he got docked a game or two and he fell to like the back of the round one,
31:12>> right?
31:12>> That would be a >> He was falling last year with the Stafford back issue going on.
31:16>> Yeah. Like I said, suspensions tend to get overrated. I mean, I did a whole study and like guys that get suspended
31:22that are good players like almost always are values. We had like a Julian Edelman year where he had the peeds and then was
31:27awesome when he came back. Rasheed Rice was operating as a wide receiver one till he came back and then he got hurt
31:32and Mahomes got hurt again. There was a Mark Ingram year, there was a Steve Smith year and like all these guys got
31:37docked too much just because gamers don't understand replace zeros for these guys even in manage leagues.
31:43>> Levon too.
31:44>> Yeah, there was a Levian year. Uh, so there's a lot. Like I said, the one thing with Jacobs though is that the the
31:48November trial, I'm curious to see if Drew brings that up when he has as well because we we're all anticipating like
31:53some 33 like tweet thread from Drew >> and we appreciate that form. But no, man, that's why I kind of threw it out
31:59there earlier. Um, the Zeke suspension happened midseason and that was just devastating.
32:05>> Yeah, you were cooked. He and he was he was good into that point. wasn't quite as good as he had been in his career,
32:10but like was operating as a as a potential value because remember doing drafts that year like he was going like the second round in some drafts and then
32:17you got Lucy with the football when it was crunch time.
32:20>> God, Zeke, it was two years of him having breakaway speed and then it was just gone.
32:26>> Yeah. I mean, Peak Zeke was was was incredible though.
32:30>> Special.
32:31>> Great aesthetic. You know, he was the last dude with his midriff out like just >> Yeah.
32:35>> Just out here.
32:36>> Feed me. Feed me. Carnell Tate off the board. This is pretty much like the teardrop at wide receiver guys. Again,
32:43Marvin Harrison Jr., Chris Goblin, BTJ, QJ, those are the top guys I have. We got the Jaden Reeds, Josh DS, Matthew
32:49Golden as well. I'm not saying they won't hit or not not none of them can or anything like that. Just a little tough
32:55to feel great about it.
32:56>> I have found myself clicking Marv around this range, Reeves, because I'm trying to just get my wide receivers. I don't
33:02want to say I feel great about it, but I do think, man, if Marv would have been able to play with Jacobe down the
33:07stretch of last year, I'm not saying he would have had Michael Wilson's wide receiver two, you know, in the last nine
33:13week finish or anything, but if Marv just puts up like upside wide receiver two numbers, which I think was realistic, I mean, you could argue he'd
33:19be going round four or five pretty consistently, you know, >> I think there was absolute tangible evidence he was going to be good in that
33:26same situation because when Brassette took over, he got a concussion the first game Brassette took over the Colts game.
33:33Uh then he kind of he came back played in a short week but then he cooked Dallas if everyone remembers he had the
33:38you know had the Don play >> CD Lamb was CD Lamb was going crazy.
33:44>> Uh then he had the um appectctomy and then when he came back from the appectctomy I think he had six for 70 in
33:51the first half against the Buccaneers and then hurt his ankle and then he played like 80 80 snaps the rest of the
33:56season. So like it just was a terrible run out man for him. But like there was a there's another universe where he gets
34:03that same opportunity that Michael Wilson had and it looks a lot better and we have almost a different narrative for him.
34:08>> That Thursday night Seahawks game in the first half was one of the worst 30 minutes of football I've seen from a
34:14wide receiver off the top of my head in a long long time. And then the second Seahawks game was another one where it
34:19was like caught three or four of 11 targets. Like >> someone that game >> I know man for someone who was so jacked
34:26it's like come on man go up there and get it. used some of that muscle. But at the same time, again, maybe putting a
34:32little bit too much weight in a couple bad games. Certainly did have some flashes. And I know guys, he is Marvin
34:37Harrison Jr., but I will push back on the idea that if he didn't have that name, you know, he he still would have
34:42been a freaking high-end first round pick. Give me a break on that. George KD off the board. We are one away.
34:48>> We're recording this Reeves, which is great because we don't have to worry about getting sniped. But yeah, I really hope Sam Leaport is there, but I worry
34:53that uh now that I said that, you know, the fancy guys are going to punish us.
34:56Yeah, this would be the spot because we already said I already said like we talked about that wide receiver cut off.
35:01I typically like to have four of those guys and we got boxed out. We only got three of the of that group. So, we are
35:07at a cut off here. So, I don't mind like kind of pivoting off and saying like I would like another receiver, but I don't
35:12think any of the receivers we have in this range >> are like guys we necessarily have to push either.
35:18>> I'm fine getting someone round seven from this group, you know?
35:22>> Yeah. And then running back also we hit a firewall because Jadearian Price went before us and he is kind of a he's
35:27always kind of that firewall at running back.
35:30>> I was looking at Price. All right, Sam Laaporta. Feeling good.
35:32>> Yeah, let's do Leaporta.
35:37>> Bang.
35:38>> I always like to get a Lion in every draft and I try to get a Packers pass catcher in every draft.
35:43>> Yeah, man. No, I was I think I said last week I was like homework everyone. Leave every single draft with at least one
35:49Packers wide receiver. That's been my only >> I include Craft though too as the thing.
35:54>> I love Christian Watson round six. But I will say sometimes it's like him versus Parker Washington and I'm like you know
36:00what give me Parker because then I I love Jaden Reed and Golden too and I you know I don't want three Packers wide
36:05receivers on one team or anything like that. But just something to think about there with Craft man I haven't been clicking on him a ton. We got this stuff
36:12coming out now where I don't Tucker Craft 10 days ago tells us that he's probably going to be on a snap count
36:20until halfway through the season and then yesterday goes quote I'm not doing the rep count stuff anymore. Did he just like corner the medical dude in the
36:29office and he's like I'm not doing any rep counts and they said you know what you're right Tucker. You're not doing
36:34any rep counts. At the same time though it was a little bit of a vague sort of statement anyway. Who's to say he's not
36:39just playing 80% of the snaps instead of 90%? But what are your thoughts on Craft?
36:44>> Well, the Packers in general have been a notorious team. They they are one of the more cautious injury teams like when
36:50guys hurt like they play tend to play things safer. So, he probably they had this plan for him probably in place and
36:56they told him that. And so he just relayed probably that information and then also he's probably telling them like I feel great and like you know so
37:02he's saying like hey I'm going to push this uh to the where you need me to play and they do need him to play because
37:07he's awesome in the run game. He's great in the red zone. Uh they had really crazy splits with him on and off the
37:12field just because he's one of these two-way tight ends that's really really awesome.
37:16>> Uh so I think he'll like if he's fully healthy he'll just he'll just be playing. I think it just depends on how
37:21good he is to go. Uh and these guys what did we forget? We used to have like two full weeks, almost three full weeks till
37:27these guys even play on Sundays. I know NFL kickoff is shorter because it's a Wednesday game, but the first Sunday is
37:34still two Sundays from this Sunday.
37:37>> That extra week after the preseason games are over is just brutal because then we also don't get any updates on
37:43the injuries coming out, >> right? And that's why I wasn't trying not to really punish guys like Hall and Love too greatly because it's like,
37:49dude, they have a full month to like >> Yeah.
37:52>> Like that's so true.
37:54>> Yeah.
37:55All right guys, through six rounds again started off CMC Anom Martin Hampton got three wide receivers after that and Waddle Burden and Parker Washington.
38:03Then Sam Laaporta in round six. He was actually the let's see fifth >> ninth tight end off the board. I know he
38:10had the and he had the hip thing but he came back. We're good. We're helping.
38:12>> And everyone talked about it was just a hit. It was a contusion. So again everyone running for their lives.
38:19>> Bro got the wind knocked out of him and it was a story. the re we we've we've lost the plot a little bit this summer.
38:26Uh because again like teams are going to be cautious with guys because it's practice like >> Yeah. And and everyone's coming back.
38:33It's a ramp up period. Everyone has done their the sports science side of this where they understand there's going to be soft tissue stuff getting guys you
38:40know uh you know off of training and into back to pra full game speed and and shape. Uh we expect these things to
38:47happen and we want our teams to be cautious with these guys at this period.
38:51My top wide receiver I have is Chris Gobwin. And then I have the two Steelers running backs as my top dudes over
38:57there. There goes Rico Dowel. I am Dow over Warren, but I think they both just could smash.
39:03>> We took Warren last night that the the rest of the crew was more Warren and I.
39:07I'm so far away a point like it's going to sword and shield it. I have Donald a little bit higher because I think Donald
39:11scores more touchdowns. But I do think both guys are going to be largely interchangeable and they're both going to catch passes.
39:18>> Yep. Old man Rogers just wants to check it down. I don't blame him. I'd probably do the same thing if I was 42 years old.
39:23So yeah, I just think McCarthy likes D and I've heard the whole Warren can do the goal line stuff. I agree with that.
39:30I just think D can also do the pass game stuff. They're both and that's what makes them good, man. If D goes down,
39:35Warren to the moon. If Warren goes down, D to the moon. I think they're probably going to be borderline RB2s if everyone
39:41stays healthy the whole time. So >> I would rather either Steeler running back than either Panther running back, though.
39:47>> Yeah, dude. the Brooks team. I mean, God, Chuba was not >> another guy like dribbling. I was getting it just so cheap where I'm like,
39:55I don't need to keep I don't need to chase this up the board.
39:57>> Yeah, 100%. So, you know, again, it's great Brooks came back and it's useful to know that he's so far ahead of uh
40:04Trevor Etchen coming in because that was a question like if it would have been 50/50 without Cuba, that would have been
40:09problematic. We are on the clock though.
40:11Drake May, Brian Thomas off the board.
40:13So, Warren or is there a wide receiver you like?
40:16>> Well, Warren's gone, right? Uh yeah, he went >> Oh, my bad.
40:19>> Yeah, my push-ups after.
40:21>> He usually goes ahead of dole. I I have Jaden Reed the highest, but I don't have Godwin too far off. It's just like a
40:26younger version probably of Godwin.
40:28>> Yeah, that's true. Honestly, >> but I'm cool with that if you want to push because sometimes the Packers guys make it back. And if you take Reed,
40:34sometimes you don't take Golden because Golden hangs out on the board. Uh we might be able to catch like a QJ coming
40:40back who would fit this roster actually pretty decently, a Conception. Uh so I mean I'm taking an old if you want.
40:46Yeah, it looks like dude I have Goblin at pick 73 ADP. Rio is at 100. So you cool going?
40:53>> Yeah, that's fine.
40:55>> Okay, Chris Goblin come on down. Someone that my guy Mr. Joan McFarland is all over this year. So >> yeah. Yeah, I saw him doing a little
41:03push here. Like I said, the Packers I think are just going to throw more anyways. Even when you don't count for
41:08the Jacob stuff, their offensive line is not as good as it was, you know, at the start of two years ago. They really
41:14struggled with injuries last year. They didn't really replace a lot of guys. Uh I think Brandon Thorne has them pretty low in his rankings, too. We had them
41:21pretty low in our uh group rankings. The defense, we don't know what Mike Parson's going to look like. Micah Parsons. The defense looks a little bit
41:28worse on paper. I think they're going to have to throw a little bit more. And then the wide receivers just be more
41:32condensed. I think they're going to be a lot more 11 personnel team. They just they had a Janu today, so maybe they're
41:37going to do uh you know, keep him involved. But I think they're going to be a tighter wide receiver split team.
41:43And it sets up better for like the Jaden Reed, uh, Golden Watson guys to be values this year.
41:49>> I was trying to figure out, uh, because all these college, all these NFL players are going back to play college football
41:54and I was like, could I get something there with John going to Ohio State and Arty and just wasn't quite feeling,
42:00>> right? So Blake Cororm off the board next. Tony Pard, JK Dobbins. I I have them ranked higher, but I will say, all
42:09right, better question. You mentioned you got the Steelers over the Carolina Panthers running backs. What are you saying with the Washington guys?
42:17Take over for 10 seconds. I got my push-ups in for unfortunately suggesting a player who was already picked.
42:22>> Oh, yeah. Listen, you got to follow the rules. And you know, you did those push-ups in Canton when we were drafted
42:27next to each other. But >> I have no problem taking kind of a buckshot approach with the Washington guys. You know, JCM or Rashad White. The
42:35tonsil injury I think puts a real wet blanket though on just about everything.
42:39like Tonsel being out I think changes the dynamic of this entire offense cuz they were a team that that was planning
42:45to run a lot more under center stuff and play action and I don't even know how much of that's going to be like on the
42:50table because by all accounts and they they're missing two other offensive linemen right now that they're expected to get back by week one but by all
42:57accounts like they've just been awful in these joint practices like they're just getting absolutely crushed up front and it's a little bit of concerning because
43:05their opening schedule is horrendous like and I know you hate me for always bringing up this schedule stuff, but >> you're okay. But when it's at the
43:12extremes, it's relevant for sure.
43:14>> Right. And like, you know, they they open up at Philadelphia, at Dallas, then Seattle. This is a team I feel like if
43:20they're going to be good, it's going to be like last year's Jaguars where it's a slow start and then they're better the
43:25back half of the year when they when they have like some calibration. I think it's going to be a struggle the front
43:29half with these with this tonsil injury.
43:31I'm just very nervous.
43:33>> Definitely doesn't matter.
43:34>> But they're fine. They're cheap.
43:36I know one of the cool tweets I see from you over every year is like the what percentage snaps did every offensive
43:42line actually have all five of their starters together?
43:44>> That's me. Those are my tweets.
43:46>> No, that's what I'm saying. I'm complimenting you for it. And uh what the char weren't the Chargers at like 15% last year or something?
43:51>> Yeah, last year 15%. The Saints have had like three year they're we pick on the Chargers because everyone stands them.
43:57The Saints have had three years in a row where they're like a bottom five team.
44:00It like feels unbelievable that like you could run this cold in terms of like offensive line health, but three years in a row the Saints have been
44:06horrendous. And the Bills are the opposite. The Bills have been like top five. It's like they keep get like one of these years they're going to have
44:12some dudes get hurt. I hope not.
44:13Knocking on it. I don't want this to happen, but the Bills have like been top five like four years in a row. And it's
44:18like wow, they've been super lucky.
44:20>> I will say Travis Etchen with the Chimera injury. Not that maybe Chimera wouldn't have mattered in the first place, but hey, certainly helps. And
44:27then Bucky Irving too, man. Like Shawn Tucker apparently being on the roster bubble. I don't think Josh Wargan is going to be taking that same role. It's
44:34just like Clockwork Reeves. I suggest, you know, potential fades the beginning of August and then I wind up looking back on it and saying, "What the hell
44:40was I thinking?"
44:41>> Hey, you adjust your priors, man. You adjust the new information. That's what we do. You have to kind of uh adjust it.
44:47And I think the Sean Tucker stuff was the the writing was on the wall. I thought like this they didn't originally
44:51tender him. They were going to let him walk. Then they kind of in the 11th hour like all right we will tender you. They
44:57they signed Kenneth Gainwell like immediately when free agent open free agency open. I I thought it was always going to be goal line or bust for him
45:04and I wasn't even that sure like the team even believed in him that much. Uh so I thought that one had a little bit
45:10of writing on the wall.
45:12>> Some at least one very wonky build going on. Again teammate Amanra St. Brown going hero wide receiver Amanra. Then they got Trey McBride, Tyler Warren,
45:21DeAndre Swift, Dave Montgomery, Jadarian Price, Kenneth Gainwell. If there is a format to do it, it's tight end premium with two wide receivers. We'll see how
45:30it works out.
45:31>> You only have to start two receivers every week and you got an anchor and I'm on RAW. Um I would say like I would
45:37argue like Gainwell wasn't a need for them at any at any level, but you know, >> got a little cocky with the Gainwell
45:42pick.
45:43>> Yeah. Um definitely definitely could have there's there are receivers still I think that are pretty solid upside bets or even floor bets like that team could
45:51have added like a perfectly crom like Jell Robinson and been okay but >> uh definitely still in like the upside case for QJ is still there. I like
45:59Conception. I don't know where you are on Conception.
46:02>> Oh yeah, >> love him.
46:03>> Matthew Golden is a guy I think there's an upside case to be made. Like we talked about the Packers guys. Um you
46:09know if you believe in the Michael Wilson back half, he's still out there.
46:13I have Golden and KC as like two of the go-to quoteunquote sleeper options who are kind of like going outside the top
46:1950 in some of the home league sites. So Jaden Reed still hanging out there.
46:23>> Oh, I didn't even I didn't even mentioned that Jayen Reed is still there who I had, you know, the highest guy we
46:28picked last time or receiver that is.
46:30>> Hey, it happened last time with Mason.
46:32I'm sorry, Leaporta coming back to us.
46:33Jordan Mason off the board. Got a little mixed up there through seven rounds though. CMC Hampton Wadd Burden Parker Washington tacked on Chris Goffin as our
46:43wide receiver for Sam Laora as our tight end one. I'm feeling pretty good, Reeves. And do I say that every time I
46:49draft in August because you want to have that optimism? Yeah, maybe. But objectively though, I think I like the squad.
46:55>> Yeah, it's got that right blend of because listen, it all it all starts at the top, right? Like if we get Christian
46:59McCaffrey because remember last year he wasn't even that efficient. Like his median is so high. if he just doesn't get hurt, which I I guess you you you
47:07price in, that's fine. But if he's fine, like this is this is we're in really good good shape here regardless.
47:13>> I mean, wouldn't it make sense if the running back who can catch a 100 passes and no one's surprised ages a little
47:18more gracefully, >> right? Like he I mean, he was just under four yards per carry. I will say his rushing was better when they had KD in
47:27the back half of the year.
47:28>> Uh he he ran better. So KD the fact that KD's ahead of schedule I think is actually good for him. Yeah.
47:34>> Um because you want him you want KD on the field, but the fact that he was still to be so dominant in fantasy
47:39football with just being kind of like a mediocre really subpar runner, uh is a testament to just like how valuable receptions are receiving work is.
47:49>> And the 49ers still have no like real threat to like get him off the field. I know Kyle Shanahan every year talks
47:54about reducing his touches, but he can't help himself, man. Like this is a team trying to win a Super Bowl.
48:00>> Kayen Black looked fine. I mean, he is the preferred handcuff and everything. I know Jordan James was going out there
48:05tonight, so he apparently is healthy enough to maybe >> and probably get 25 to 40 runs.
48:11>> Yeah, I saw a I didn't see a followup with it.
48:15I thought I saw like they were even using like Jaylen Watkins ahead of Debo in practice.
48:19>> He's in supposedly been practicing more at wide back, you know, they call it the was the web back that they're practicing
48:26more as that. And then he's been their kick returner. He's going to be their kick returner. Okay, that was like the
48:32early 2000 Buckeyes. They put Teddy Gin um out there like just five yards back but also like behind the tight end. They
48:38call it the shot Gin. Good times there.
48:41Guys, pull next time you're drunk on a Friday night watching highlights, just do me a favor and watch some Ohio State
48:46Tech Gin. That dude was shot out of a cannon. Oh my god, Devin just the ultimate one catch, 40 yards touchdown.
48:53>> Dude had 930 yards and 12 touchdowns on 33 receptions. like the most ludicrous season.
49:03>> We are one pick away. I have Quinton Johnson, Jaden Reed, Stefon Diggs is my top wide receivers. Mentioned Golden and
49:09Casey Conception on there.
49:10>> They have a lot of like PPR type dudes.
49:12I would lean QJ here just for like maybe the the touchdown equity stuff. And then >> he's I mean he is a rugged after the
49:20catch wall player and by all accounts he's going to get all of these near the line of scrimmage targets in this
49:25offense. I haven't heard a great reason yet for why he's I mean he was a low-end wide receiver too last year and he got
49:32hurt man. He had the hamstring and the groin >> and Reed goes before us that makes easy for us anyways.
49:37>> Boom dude >> QJ we good.
49:39>> Yeah the his first eight games last year before his injury and als injury he was a top 30 score in six of the opening
49:45eight games like he wasn't boomer bust like he had a usable floor. He wasn't this volatile option and then everyone on the offense fell apart the final
49:53eight weeks. like there isn't one player that survived the final 10 games on that offense.
49:57>> The drop stuff hasn't been nearly as big of an issue since year one. Like if you're going to hold it, it's that
50:03thing, man. We did it with Will Fuller as well. It's just And Deontay Johnson, there's there's certain players where we hold drops against and we just don't
50:10even consider it for half the other, you know, part of the league. So QJ at this point in time, man, it's so funny too
50:15what we choose to actually be excited about. You know, Mike McDaniel talks about how Martin Hampton reminds me of Terrell Davis and everyone's going nuts.
50:23We got an Andre Johnson comp for Quinton Johnson earlier this offseason, man.
50:28>> Weird comp, >> which is crazy. I get it. But Mike McDaniel likes the guy.
50:32>> The thing I like here about QJ here in this spot is we didn't draft him as a starter and we kind of have some guys
50:38that are maybe like more volatile wide receiver picks, but we also have uh enough guys that throw at the position still, too.
50:45>> Yeah, I agree with that. QJ as your wide receiver five feels better than an as your wide receiver three.
50:50>> Yes, 100%.
50:51>> Jordan Tyson off the board.
50:54Had him down there a little bit. I guess we haven't gotten exactly like we're just we're kind of trying to piece
50:59together the Tyson news.
51:02When do we find out if these guys are starting the season on IR? Is that this Sunday?
51:06>> No, right. We still have another week.
51:08>> It's going to be the Sunday before.
51:11>> Tyson's definitely gonna be on the PUP though.
51:15>> Yeah.
51:16because of his history. Like they're just going to have to play it cautious with him.
51:21>> Drafted that dude in so many freaking teams.
51:25>> Sad.
51:27>> Well, is he wide receiver 42 here? I think that's probably still a little high.
51:31>> I got him.
51:32>> Unfortunately, >> I got him basically right after all the wide receivers I'd feel good about >> and Alec Pierce is wide receiver 50,
51:42which is a little bit insulting. I'm probably being a little bit of a dick there.
51:47>> We still, and this is what we talk about, there's only four QBs off the board still going into round nine. It
51:51feels so good. It just feels so good, >> right? I mean, Lamar in round six, you know, it's Lamar Jackson. It could
51:57happen, but let's just keep pushing it.
51:59Everyone keep pushing it. Isn't this fun, Reeves? I look live drafts are fun and everything, but I know when I'm on
52:07I've done it with Theo and Dwayne, and you know, Theo and I are debating a pick and he goes, "Three guys I'm between
52:12right now." He just starts like trying to like kind of faintly describe and it's like no we can actually just say
52:16the name of the person. I I like it.
52:19>> Yeah. When this isn't live there's no stream snipe here because it's not you're recording this so we don't have to worry about it.
52:24>> Would you ever do that if you were drafting or would you try to find the stream?
52:27>> I don't know but I imagine people do though. It happens.
52:31>> Yeah it does happen. Entering round nine. Michael Wilson off the board. Are you buying that Wilson good repeat?
52:37>> Do me a favor and scroll down on the screen here.
52:41>> Oh good call.
52:43so we can see the uh some of the picks.
52:46>> Even though I am logged in, I guess I could actually pull up the draft board myself.
52:49>> Oh, you're good.
52:49>> I'm just using the StreamYard.
52:52>> I'm looking at looking at you in the screen.
52:54>> All right, Dwan Johnson off the board.
52:57>> Yeah, he's made a climb and we're at the point too. Terrence Ferguson's probably going to go in this round or the next as
53:02well.
53:03>> I'm surprised Andrews hasn't gone, but then again, I saw that route and it was miserable. Okay, there goes Alec Pierce.
53:08We are on the clock.
53:10Is there a running back you're interested in?
53:15>> It's real thin.
53:17>> Your high guys.
53:18>> What we say about what we say about Packers wide receivers?
53:22>> Yep. Yep. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We do have Golden available. We have Conception or Golden. I think we could take Conception
53:27or Golden and be done largely at receiver. Maybe mix in one more guy. But I think we take Let's take one of those
53:32guys and then just uh we don't have to really worry about receiver the rest of the way.
53:37>> I'm cool with that. I I'd love KC.
53:41>> Do Golden because we we talked about always taking a Packers. Let's follow our Let's follow our >> I have Golden ranked one spot higher
53:47because it's the Packers versus the Browns. Let's not overthink that.
53:50Matthew Golden, come on down.
53:52>> I like it. I like it. And that gives us, like I said, because we took some more guys built with a little bit of helium
53:57that we believe could hit their ceiling, but also this gives us outs uh throughout. Like we've got a couple bench options here. We can rotate guys
54:04because this is a managed league. So, we're gonna be able to play some matchups or if a guy gets hurt or just
54:09isn't playing well, >> rotate guys. We're probably gonna not take a receiver for a little bit and that's fine because we're basically at
54:15the end of this >> usable receivers anyways.
54:18>> We'll probably take another one at some point, but if we don't, that's okay.
54:22>> Yeah. Oh, yeah. We'll probably add at least one more, but I'm just saying we're going to hit this wall where it's
54:26just the heart of darkness.
54:29>> That was uh I have my ultimate fantasy football draft guide out there on roadwire.com if you guys want to check
54:34that out. If you have a sub, thank you.
54:36If you don't, Ian 35 35% off. How about them apples? But, uh, I'll just bring up the point out, particularly at managed
54:41leagues, it's fine to, you know, if you have, I don't know, 12, what was my example? Like, if you're in a 16 round
54:48draft and you have eight running backs and five or six wide receivers, like that's that's fine. Especially in home leagues, we can always find if you need
54:56a wide receiver, five or six, there there will be one out there on the waiver wire. But have those lottery ticket handcuffs, man, over these, you
55:02know, Jags that are going to be going off the board late.
55:05>> For this particular roster construction, too, it made more sense to throw more ammunition at the wide receiver spot because we're not chasing any position.
55:12We already have our tight end and we already have our RB2. So, it's not even we didn't even go anchor where we're
55:18going to be throwing like buckshotting RB2. We're not. Yep. So, we I I like the idea of just trying to get more Coals in
55:24the Fire receiver here and then we can just start throwing because all these running backs are going to be bench spots for us. Like, we don't have to
55:31start a JK Dobbins. We don't have to start a Katon Mitchell, but we can add those guys as bench guys for when we
55:36need him for buys and injuries and other things.
55:39>> I have Dobbins, White, Chuba, >> Crod, and Mitchell as my next running back. So, Aaron Jones, too. But God, it's just I I yearn for the days when it
55:48used to be fun to draft Aaron Jones.
55:52>> Still, I mean, he follows all of us on Twitter. It's always been fun. He's always dudes as a prospect. There goes
55:57Dobbins.
56:00>> I love the Mama Mama Jackson, DJ Jackson's mom.
56:05>> You ever get interaction with her on Twitter? She's like, "Oh, thanks for the thanks for the kind words." And she'd
56:09sign it like, "Mama Mama Jackson."
56:14Uh, >> I'm surprised that we haven't seen Oh, no. Michael Wilson did go. I was like, "Oh, I missed him." All right. Michael
56:18Wilson didn't go either.
56:21>> No push-ups because we're not on the clock to be clear.
56:23>> That's right.
56:24>> It's okay.
56:27>> Yeah, we were about to go on the clock, but I was asking you like, do you are you holding a candle? Keeping a candle
56:31lit, I should say, for Michael Wilson. I mean, it didn't There was one game against the Niners where it was like,
56:36all right, they're playing 15 yards off and he just caught like five straight seven yard curls. like some of it was
56:43garbage time induced. And I remember running the amount of fantasy points he did score like in the second half down three plus scores. It was a record for
56:52like the last 10 or so years. But when you go back and watch the guy, he was making plays.
56:58>> Yeah, I always liked him and he just wanted to see him get opportunity and he at least did proof of concept on that.
57:03Like, all right, the dude can play. I felt that way about Parker Washington. I had Parker Washington in that big 50
57:08team college league that we did. And I was like, man, this dude's like good.
57:12Like their quarterback play was really bad at the time because that was even before Aller was there. I forget who their quarterback was that year.
57:18>> And I was like, man, this dude can play.
57:19I believe he could play. And just never had an opportunity. He was buried in Jacksonville. So, it was nice to see.
57:24>> Sean Clifford, the big red dog.
57:26>> Yeah. Yeah, that's who it was. I was like, oh man, I think Park is pretty good at football. Uh, but just was
57:31buried. Uh, so yeah, sometimes you just need the opportunity, but I kind of am operating on like a loose no Cardinals
57:37policy.
57:38>> Yeah, there we go.
57:39>> You know, they're just not going to have the same layout as last year where they were running these guys are running six
57:44to 700 routes, right? Like it's just >> you I know they're not going to be a good team, but they're going to be a lot
57:48more balanced. The offensive line's better. They've uh, you know, signed Tyler Alan for agency open. They draft Jeremiah Love at pick three. um they're
57:58just gonna play more rock fights this year than even while they're losing. And >> then like how long does Brassette last?
58:05When do we see Carson back? There's just a lot of variables with the Cardinals where I'm just like I'm gonna let
58:09someone else deal with most of these guys.
58:11>> And that's the concern with the Jets too, man. It's I just think it's a matter of when, not if it's going to be
58:17Kate Clubnick under center. And maybe Kade's going to be fine. you know, him and him and Beck and Aller and a lot of
58:23these guys, they were formally in the next year's way too early first round conversation. It just didn't work out for him for one reason or another. Same
58:30with Garrett Nusmire, by the way, putting some throws on film out there the second half of some of these preseason games. So,
58:37>> definitely a gamer. So, entering round 10, hilarious how far we've come, Re. I know it's tight end premium, but the
58:43fact that Terrence Ferguson is calling to me in round 10, sign of the times. I I love him in this particular format
58:49because there's a there's an an argument you can make for yourself that the back half of the year like he is just he's
58:55going hard, man. Like especially if there's an injury to one of these receivers, he could just outright be playing like as their third wide
59:02receiver, but little still they're calling it 12 and 13 personnel, but like he's not playing any tight end because >> that's kind of what happened last year,
59:09right? Like he saw his snap spike when Devonte Adams was out.
59:12>> Yeah. And his ADOT was like 17 yards downfield like I feel like a tight end man. If you can work downfield, I'm not worried about
59:22the underneath stuff. This is a big dude. It's not like he's >> some, you know, I don't think him and Ronda Gatston are similar. I think
59:29Ferguson can actually play inline tight end.
59:31>> Yeah. Listen, you got to twist my arm if you if you like him in this spot.
59:36>> I mean, these if these running backs fly off, I'd feel better about it.
59:41>> Yeah. There goes We lost Dobins and Rodriguez in that span.
59:46We've had some quarterbacks go off the board as well. Jaden Daniels, Jaylen Hurst, Justin Herbert, and Caleb Williams. We have Oh, there goes Marshon
59:55Lloyd. Yeah, he would have been in play there, too, honestly. We have two teams at the turn for QB. I'm fine pushing it.
60:03We don't need a QB. Come on.
60:05>> No, we got ton tons of options. Uh what are our stacking options here? We've got >> We got do have Til for Parker, but man,
60:12that schedule is rough. Uh Baker down the stretch. Jordan Love down the stretch.
60:19>> Um Jordan Love could be fun.
60:22>> Yeah, we got some good options. Even uh CMC and Perty, bro.
60:25>> Oh, we do have Pury. Yeah, as well. Oh, I love Py, too.
60:30>> Yeah, Packer.
60:30>> I'm always surprised to see Pertie the one falling so far every time. People just don't respect him.
60:36>> Especially he was so good that down the stretch last year too for fantasy. And that's usually what gamers hold into
60:41their hearts the most of like the most recent thing that we saw.
60:44>> Yeah.
60:45>> Been bad.
60:46>> Love, you you need a guy to play week one, but after week one, Love plays Jets, Falcons, Buccaneers, Bears, Cowboys, Lions, Panthers, like in a row,
60:56which could be pretty good.
60:58>> Check Conquo goes. Yeah, we're going to have a running back here.
61:04>> Where are you at? Do you looking at White Hubard? I got white at the top. I mean, the fact he's going this far
61:12after. I think he could be Austin Eckler plus catch 50 passes. Would it be the most shocking thing?
61:19What are your thoughts? I'm not If we don't draft Rashad White or Chuba Hub, I'm not going to freaking >> I literally have Chuba Hubard 33 and
61:26Rashad White 34.
61:28>> Yeah, I'm 35 36.
61:31Hopefully this guy drafts one. Just make it easy on us. Do you think we need a running back here over a T Ferg or over
61:36a quarterback? I think we're fine pushing QB.
61:39>> I would personally just take Terence Ferguson and have the fun upside play cuz like we're not starting either of these running backs unless we have to.
61:45>> That's true.
61:45>> And if there's really not a difference between them, like I think Terence Ferguson is outright has more upside than every tight end left to take.
61:53>> Ah, >> making us pick Rashad White or freaking Chewba Hover >> in my heart. Right in my heart.
62:02Oh, >> that hurt. I was so with you, too. I was convinced.
62:07>> Yeah. Like of all the tight ends left, like especially not even need him as a starter. Like I was just like, "Yeah,
62:12let's let's swing the hammer."
62:15>> Oh man.
62:17>> I put it in your hands here. I'd default to you uh between Hubard and White. I guess for this particular I would lean
62:22White for the receiving stuff, but it's >> Yeah, >> it's whatever. It's not Terrence Ferguson.
62:28>> Definitely not Terence Ferguson.
62:31Let's go Rash White.
62:34Cool.
62:34>> Yeah. and he's coming back on the practice field. So, looks like he's Yeah. over his little hammy stuff.
62:40>> He should be fine. And I mean, I understand they're throwing Bill the ball in practice. Guess what? They throw the ball to every running back. It's
62:46practice, okay? These things happen. But White, I just think, is >> White's been a really good pass protector the past two years. And that
62:54just might with a tonsil injury be a de facto gets him on the field.
62:59>> Like, couldn't you see? I mean, we were talking about the Commanders was sucking. Commanders are horrible this year, but Rashad White catches 55 58
63:07passes and like it's just like oh man RB 24 Rashad White. Who would have thought?
63:12>> 100%.
63:15>> Yeah, that that that I'm still trying to get over the Terence Ferguson thing.
63:18>> I know.
63:18>> Trying to cope with that.
63:20>> That was the first Hey, it took until round 10 for us to not get the guy we wanted. That's pretty
63:24>> That's true. That is true.
63:26>> And we got Hampton way below ADP in round two. So I like what is >> but man could have had could have had
63:32Terence Ferguson >> as just an ultimate luxury pick would have been fun.
63:37>> I know we we were feeling it too. There goes deck. We're I mean and guys this is what you should be
63:46doing in drafts too when you're and people will double up a QB. We know that.
63:51>> But just look between you and the turn.
63:54So, if we push it again, Reeves, there's only two teams that need a quarterback.
63:59Team six and team 12. Everyone else has one. I wouldn't be surprised if team two takes one here, but we're going to have
64:06a potential chance, man, where it could be like Perie, Dart, Knicks, Taw.
64:13>> I don't know if all four of them are going to go. I'd be fine getting any of them back. We honestly have
64:17>> 100%.
64:18>> We have stacks set up for Tallaw, Pretty, and Knicks. and Dart's just gonna run so much potentially that we don't even really need to care about
64:25that sort of situation. So, I'm And then guess what? If we don't get them, I'm fine going to war with, you know, Jared
64:31Goff and Jordan Love or whatever, >> right? I mean, listen, Dart, I have to I have him in a a Superflex keeper league.
64:36It's my home league and like I get even me being the Konami Code guy, >> dude. You just have to every game you
64:44just like is this dude gonna even is he leaving the game in the second quarter?
64:47Like I'm just like it's so tilting. Like it's so tilting, man. Like the the the Jackson Dart experience is is you can't
64:53watch the game. It's not for the faint of heart.
64:56>> Did you see him complaining in the press conference? He was like, I don't know why they keep sending me in there like
65:00the freaking banana. Like we're all trying to figure out who did this.
65:03>> Who did this? Who did this?
65:06>> It is. It is a experience.
65:08>> I do think he's pretty freaking good, man. I'm worried that Natty's going to hurt it. But like, >> and again, it's probably aesthetically
65:17and just like watching quarterbacks run around and make some of the offscript plays like like he does, >> I'm probably putting a little too much
65:23stock behind it. Like I heard uh Curt Warner, you know, I love how Curt Warner's always on Twitter like actually being way too nice and rational for all
65:30of us monsters out there, but he was just talking about like, you know, oh yeah, you guys want to highlight this
65:35crazy 10-second offscript scramble when the real highlights was a quarterback.
65:39this guy's, you know, figuring out the coverage before the snap, getting the ball out 1.5 seconds and keeping the team ahead of schedule. Like, that's the
65:46stuff I worry about with Dart. But I think that you can learn that stuff easier than being a freaking demon off
65:53script like he is, >> right? We get a a Brandon Aubrey pick uh in round 11.
65:59>> Well, what's hilarious, too, is Aubrey, didn't was he like kicker three last year? He wasn't even the highest scoring kicker.
66:04>> Yeah, you do get this. We're going to we're going to have some defenses, too.
66:07The Rams and the Texans will probably come off the board in the next couple rounds as well.
66:13>> I have Rams DS21 just cuz I don't think the offense is going to implode like Houston could.
66:20>> You know the best defense though, Reeves at value.
66:24You're a schedule guy. You should you better know this.
66:25>> Is it the Chargers or is you just doing the Jags because of week one?
66:30>> No, I got the Ravens, bro. Those first six weeks.
66:32>> Yeah, I like the Ravens a lot, too. I have them high. Um, >> they could be like really good in real
66:36life, too.
66:37>> Another team I think is pretty good is the Steelers. I think their defense is really good.
66:42>> Highest paid group in the league.
66:44>> Yeah, they're a little old, but like they have a pretty They play the Browns twice in the opening eight weeks, so
66:48like you get two Browns games.
66:51>> OTC us.
66:52>> We're OTC.
66:57>> If you want to do birdie, if you just want to do because he's the guy we're most confident in, I'm cool with that.
67:01If you want to wait, I'm good at that as well. You do something fun like Keaton Mitchell. I'm cool with that.
67:07>> We do have Hampton. We do have Hampton though.
67:10>> Just mentioning anyone other than Chuba Hover in round 11. It's kind of ridiculous.
67:14>> Do you just want to take Hubard? We We were between Hubard and White last time.
67:17Who's double double him up?
67:19>> I feel like Look, I Chuba's like the Courtland Sutton of running backs. I never feel good taking him a certain
67:24point.
67:25>> Let's take him. It's round 11.
67:28>> Sha Huburn, come on down.
67:29>> We were between Huburn and White last time. Why? If both are there, why not just make make it easy?
67:34>> We both have them ranked top 36 and like I I think it's important to draft because it makes you reassess your
67:39rankings, but >> Yes. Correct.
67:41>> Also, we do put a lot of time into the rankings and I try to put a little bit of respect behind them as well. And like
67:48I can't rank 36 running backs that had Shoua Hubard.
67:51>> Correct.
67:55>> All right, everyone through 11 rounds now. Got our two stud RBs at the top.
67:59Christian McCaffrey, Omar Hampton did not draft any more RBs until round 10 and 11. Scoot up Rashad White and Trouba Hubard. Wide receiver run for us was
68:07from round three to round five and then round seven to round nine. Jaylen Waddle, Luther Burton, Parker Washington, followed by Chris Goblin,
68:13Quinton Johnson and Matthew Golden got Sam Laaporta as a tight end nine in this draft at the end of round six. Yes,
68:20Reeves and I were devastated to miss out on Terrence Ferguson one pick before us in round 10, but otherwise we've actually been able to get get our guys,
68:29man. Even I think twice now we almost got Jaden Reed to come back to us as well. But we were talking about Parker
68:35versus maybe Sam Leaporta. Leaporta came back to us. Then we were between Rashad White and Shouba Hubard. Wasn't as long of a stretch, but managed to, you know,
68:42have our cake and eat it too there as well. So, our latest endeavor is pushing quarterback yet another round.
68:49>> If they start double tapping, it can get dicey. But again, even in that scenario, I'm just I'm not terrified even if our
68:55top four guys are gone.
68:56>> Yeah, I think the the one spot right now that I would say like maybe is an issue for us is is tight end two because in
69:02this format you just get really deep. Uh you know, like we're in round 11 to give you >> some context of there's been 20 tight
69:10ends taken and we're in the middle of round 11. like this isn't going to happen in a non-tighten premium league.
69:16>> I have Hunter Henry, AJ Barner, Greg Dolitz, Aronda Gatston. Next guys up. I will say Gatston is right there with
69:24Ferguson where they're the and I get it.
69:25We've seen Kohler and the Joker who play ahead of Gatston, so it's not looking good. We haven't seen Ferguson play, so
69:31we can imagine what it's going to be like out there. But if the Chargers just kind of doing what they're doing, and
69:37you know, maybe Trey Harris isn't quite as involved as we're expecting first team offense. If Gadston has a 70% route rate in week one, like he's gonna be a
69:44top 10 tight end.
69:47>> Yeah. This is also a format that gives a little bit of life to like a really boring player like Dalton Schultz. Uh
69:53>> yeah, >> he's he's essentially Jake Ferguson like you know, right?
69:58>> You know, he's not fun. Like New Deals good clicking Daltton Schultz, don't get me wrong, but this is like a format that
70:04does give him a little bit extra life.
70:06It's funny too because I was slandering Schultz so much in 2023 that first year in Houston because I watch Jake Ferguson
70:13behind him and it's the same thing now man the Cowboys they keep having these white tight ends who all wear numbers in
70:19the 80s and it's the same thing now with Brevin Span forward and Luke Skoomaker where one of these guys catches the ball
70:24and I'm like oh which one is it the Dallas Goddard Zack Z issue all over again. So I almost held that against
70:30Schultz I think more than I should have because I was like I mean Jake Ferguson's out here doing the same thing
70:34Schultz is. It's like, oh, well, you know, Ferguson's pretty good in his own right. So, >> yeah. I mean, Ferguson is a player you
70:40could tell would be really good if like he had like athleticism because he's he's actually good on without athleticism. But like
70:48>> he hurdles he hurdles some guys though.
70:49That's like a tight end thing.
70:50>> He'd be real scary if he could run.
70:54>> All right, here's our double tap. Taw goes to the Caleb Williams.
70:57>> We're okay still because there's a lot of red on that side of the board.
71:00>> Yeah.
71:03And we still have all kinds of options.
71:06>> That's what I'm saying.
71:08I'd be surprised if we don't take a quarterback with our next pick though.
71:12>> Probably.
71:14>> But never said never.
71:18>> Every team >> Hunter Henry though. Like I said, the tight end is the backup tight end is the definitely the one spot that I think
71:23we're a little fragile in this format.
71:26>> Yeah, we could consider pushing. There's only team two that doesn't have a quarterback. Team four double tap
71:37Drake May and Joe Burrow. I didn't even catch that.
71:39>> Yeah, they were off to a good a fun start, I think, with the zero uh running back, but then went in in a different
71:45direction than I would have probably rounds four through 10.
71:49>> That's a nice way of saying you hate seven straight ps.
71:52>> I like Listen, I really like the receivers, you know, really like the receivers. Do you remember Denny used to have that bit where it's like
71:58>> I was just nicking that I really love the receivers the rest of the team.
72:02>> You're running backs though.
72:04>> Well, there's just Why if you're if you're doing zero RB, you can't double tap May Burrow. You just can't. There's
72:10no there's no need.
72:11>> No. Our guy Brock Pury goes off the board at the turn. I believe that. Yeah, that team didn't have a quarterback.
72:17Schultz and Henry both.
72:25>> Schultz would have been nice to get back there. What about AJ Barner, man? One of these years, Reeves, these one of these
72:32tush push tight ends is going to be used actually at the goal line and it's going to be crazy. Why not 2026 AJ Barner?
72:39>> Yeah, maybe I would rather do a little more upside like even like a Sadi or Gadston even though like they're buried.
72:45Like I would rather just like a little more juice.
72:48>> Uh like Schultz was like the last boring guy I think I was like all right he's gonna play full time.
72:53>> Why is AJ Barner boring?
72:55>> Yeah, he's just boring. Yeah. Well, I think a Royals is gonna play a lot too though. Um see a Royal come and
73:02>> and ramp up.
73:04>> I just wonder if the Seahawks could throw the ball a lot more than we're expecting.
73:08>> They could. They absolutely could. Just natural regression. You know, the the running back room to start the year isn't as strong as where it left off.
73:16Like absolutely an avenue where they can. Even the defense lost some core pieces. I think they're going to be a very good defense. I'm not saying they
73:22won't be, but they lost some they lost some dudes. you know, >> got some injuries right now in the secondary.
73:26>> Yep. Yep.
73:29>> Jonah Coleman got a cheat sheet out there for everyone. Again, it's in my Ultimate Fantasy Draft Guide article. I got all
73:35my tears and rankings in there. And I even managed to put little green pluses next to guys I like and red minuses next
73:42to the ones I don't. And Jonah Coleman got a red minus. I respect Jonah Coleman Reeves enough to think that he's going
73:49to limit Dobins and Harvey. I just struggle to see how Coleman himself becomes a big factor.
73:54>> Yeah, he's I'm fine with him in like the best ball formats, but in these streets where we're in the manage leagues, I
73:58feel like he's going to be kind of a roster clogger.
74:01>> Yeah, I was talking to Braden Reebar, who is a very sharp young fellow as well, >> and uh he was drafting Jonah Coleman. I
74:11was like, why are you drafting Jonah Coleman? He just said, I don't think R.J. Harvey is very good. And that was
74:16that that was the end of the response.
74:17And honestly, it's a it's not not a bad point.
74:21>> But I mean, Harvey's going to play in the pass game. We know that he's he's going to be involved as a pass catcher.
74:26And you I all the Broncos guys, you kind of need two injuries to tell yourself a story about all of them.
74:31>> Exactly.
74:32>> But in baseball, like there will be games like those guys hit, but in manage leagues, like on a weekly level, when
74:37you're setting your lineup, like where's the confidence going to come from or where like you're putting those guys in your lineup? You're like, "Yeah, it's
74:42this guy this week." Hey, so three of the teams around the turn have uh two tight ends already. I know they could
74:49take more.
74:50>> Well, we don't I mean we're kind of tight end like really hit that wall.
74:53Like Schultz and Hener Henry were kind of the last guys I was even like alive on.
74:58>> Yeah.
74:58>> Who do you like here?
75:02>> Let's see.
75:05Woody Marks is still available. That's kind of surprising if we wanted to push QB.
75:10>> Yeah, Woody Marks probably. I mean, do we need him? I guess we don't really need anything though.
75:15We could double tap. We could do like Knicks and Love or Knicks and Golf. We could >> Nick and Dart maybe.
75:21>> Yeah.
75:22>> Okay. Let's get our quarterback. Let's uh It's round 12.
75:26I think we're taking two quarterbacks.
75:28Let's take two guys in this pocket. Uh because our roster is pretty strong here.
75:33>> I do have Dart one spot ahead of Knicks.
75:35Same tier. We have Waddle. What are your thoughts? Who do you prefer?
75:39>> Um I I'm fine with Dart. I think if we do dart though, we double tap. We still double tap.
75:44>> Let's do it. And sooner rather than later.
75:47>> Yeah.
75:48>> Cool with dart.
75:49>> Yeah, I think we do dart. We Let's do dart. And >> is that uh >> is that Barrett's uh Konami? I'm
75:57guessing.
75:58>> I don't know if uh he was the exotic Exodia guy or not.
76:01>> Exodia. That's it. My bad.
76:03>> Yeah, >> shout out Scott Barrett.
76:05>> The uh >> I have to check out >> the fantasy points just relentless. just not even hiding. Going after PFF brings
76:12a chuckle whenever I uh see it out there.
76:15>> Got say someone's got to step up into that space strike.
76:20>> Hey man, I'm here. Competition. That's what we need. What we need in this world.
76:25>> Great product, too. I mean, the fantasy points is a great product.
76:30>> I really appreciate the effort to help quantify separation and things of that nature. I think there because I was um
76:38I didn't mean to put them on blast.
76:39Sometimes I accidentally do. I'm sure it happens to you too, Reeves. Like you just try to like converse in something and then it kind of catches on. You're
76:44like, "Oh, now I'm actively got 5,000 likes." Like this is now becoming a problem. I did not know I was starting.
76:50But it was like they gave Keon Coleman a 0% win rate after week one. And I was like, I mean, I'm not saying he's the
76:57best separator in the world, but like how do you have 0%. And their definition was >> their definition was like they just
77:03considered his separation on the catches like average. and to have the win rate, you need to do more than just be
77:09average. So, like whatever, that's fine.
77:10I remember like going back and forth with uh their lead data guy briefly. And it was a cordial conversation. They're all good dudes over there. But I was
77:17like, it'd be really cool to see um a gravity sort of metric like you know, they have basketball a little bit how
77:23Steph Curry just brings out the fear in everyone. Like I always pictured with like Tyreek Hill because you see the safeties fly over there and they said
77:29that was something they were like trying to look into getting sooner rather than later. So excited for all the cool stuff
77:36that Fantasy Points has on the docket.
77:39>> Yeah, I mean there the data suite, like I said, I fully endorse uh them for if you're looking for an alternative if you
77:44had a PFF sub and you're not happy with the way things have gone, the direction it's gone. I would say that they're for
77:50price point, that's where you would pivot to immediately.
77:54>> Okay, we could go the best running backs I see available are Ray Davis, Keelin Black, Brian Robinson. Pure handcuffs guys. Black would help us because we are
78:04CMC, but we also aren't 100% sure he is that guy.
78:09>> Do you know what else? We aren't cowards.
78:13>> That's true. I forgot about that part of the equation.
78:16>> Ah, there goes bow. I want a bow. That's >> I think we take golf or love.
78:21>> Yeah.
78:23>> Well, love push. Love we could probably push. Golf we would have to take. I think >> we have Leaporta. That's another one.
78:31>> Oh, yeah. I think we take golf. I think we just insulate. We do dark. I think we just double tap and have our two guys.
78:36>> I'm all good.
78:37>> Not mess with it.
78:38>> Don't need to be heroes today.
78:40>> I mean, the great outside of tight end, too, like this roster has no like immediate needs like where we're cha
78:45we're not chasing any position.
78:47>> Getting White and Chuba like actually having two our bench RBs are playable, >> right?
78:54>> Not too shabby.
78:59I draft so many anchor RB teams like I'm always thinking about like guy throwing guys at a starting position but I'm like
79:04wait we have them right in too like oh yeah we're good we don't need to >> I know it's great Jargo
79:09>> I think we do golf I think we do golf we have our installation it's a player we like it's a stack it's it it's
79:17perfect I think >> Jargo's another guy with a little green plus next to his name just the whole >> Are we taking any guys with a red minus
79:26>> I don't >> I push Did I push any red minus minuses on you?
79:28>> I don't think so. No red minuses. Oh, maybe Leaporta, but tight end premium obviously wouldn't be a minus with him.
79:36And even that minus, I don't know. I just felt I'll be honest with you, I was looking at tight end and I don't think I
79:41had like any clear I had McBride as a minus just at the cost.
79:45>> That's all it is, man. Just at the cost, but um >> I was like, well, I can't just have like
79:51Trey McBride as the only red minus here.
79:53So, I slap one on Sam Leaportis. So, maybe some flaws in the system. I came up with uh today. Reeves, we'll uh we'll
80:00get the unpaid interns working on it and figuring things out here.
80:04>> Well, tight end's one of those divisions. If you're not taking one of the big guys at the top with that
80:07premier equity, you can kind of play the board.
80:10>> Well, in a normal reddraft that wasn't tight end premium, I wouldn't have wanted Leaporta there. I'd be fine pushing it and getting Isaiah likely or
80:16concade later, getting a Goddard, Terence Ferguson. But like you said, we had 20 freaking tight ends go off the board by round round 11 here. You can't
80:23really play that game. My my argument for Leaporta in that range is, you know, um I think about like touchdown equity
80:30and like he's a guy that if he if you were to tell me right now Sam Laora scored the most touchdowns at tight end,
80:35I'd be like, "Yeah, that that probably there's an avenue for that happening and that's just the way I look at it." And
80:40then I, you know, paired with like the Lions stuff because everyone's betting on the Lions. They're telling me about all the schedule stuff. He's the
80:45cheapest piece, you know, obviously outside of like Tesla and stuff, but he's the cheapest core piece.
80:50>> So that's kind of like my argument for taking him.
80:53>> No, I get it. I I see the argument for all those mid-round guys. I don't love they was coming off the back surgery and
81:00the hip thing doesn't matter. And I get >> him, KD, and Craft are all coming off of major injuries.
81:05>> Yeah. And then Fannon and Pitts could just be in absolute dog water offenses, you know, and Fannon >> talking about this on the pod last night
81:14this year. Like who who do you think the the best receiver to this point in his life Harold Fannon shared a field with?
81:23It's your boy, right? Like it's your boy.
81:25>> Mr. 1,200 yards in 2024. Jerry Judy snatched his chain last year.
81:30>> And like there is just a lot more dudes on the roster this year. And I get it.
81:33It's the Browns, but like you add two top 35 picks.
81:36>> And Conception's coming for a lot of those underneath the Yak hitters, you know?
81:42>> Conception's going to get so many free squares, like just so much stuff near the line of scrimmage. I was uh I hadn't
81:48thought of it until yesterday because Dwayne and I did draft KC and I was like I could see him having the rookie year
81:53Waddle season, you know, bad offense, but they just flow the entire >> not like a ton of yards per catch but
81:59just like a lot of catches.
82:02>> I think he worked downfield. His quarterback play sucked at&m, too.
82:08>> Yeah. end at NC State cuz he was the year that Grayson McCall transferred and then had like four concussions in like
82:15like three weeks and was they went to the backup they had to go to the backup quarterback.
82:20>> He had that reverse touchdown in the preseason and I think I quote tweeted it and was like he did a lot of good things
82:25at running back for NC State and he did and I got so many people going he played wide receiver at NC State you idiot. I
82:32was like, I know, man, but he played some running back, too. He did. I was like, I'm complimenting the guy. Like,
82:36where is this even coming from? But that's what happens when you're online way too much like your boy here. Tyron Tracy, end of uh round 13. Are you Naji
82:46Harris? Curious, Reeves?
82:48>> Not really.
82:48>> Me either. No one's mentioned uh it's a guy who wasn't exactly fleetooted to begin with. Uh coming off an Achilles,
82:55maybe he's not 100%. Are we allowed to wonder that with guys coming off Achilles?
82:59>> Hey, we are allowed to wonder that. And you know, does Greg Roman like Greg Roman really likes Naji Harris as a
83:04person and a player. So >> I get it.
83:07>> Great player, better person.
83:11>> Yeah, I was trying to look up that uh that Wadd season because yeah, rookie that's a great comp. I think actually
83:16that's a great shout on your part. Yeah, rookie year rookie year Waddle 7yard A DOT. Uh he had 15% of his targets behind
83:26line of scrimmage. careerhigh 57% target rate inside of nine yards or below and uh yeah I mean this is like that's the that's like the path for
83:37conception right um 100%. because there's no one else on that team. Was it maybe Dvonte Parker still?
83:46>> It was Devonte Devonte Parker was on that team.
83:50And then I was looking >> he was also priced as like a wide receiver four. I remember people because he was coming off that injury but he was
83:56still out there and everything and camp and I remember there was like a report like an article and they were like
84:02waddle made a catch downfield and he was slow to get up and he kept practicing and everything but we were all just
84:07holding our breath and that was being sus negative and it was like come on guys. Well that was the Mike to siki
84:12year 112 targets too.
84:14>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And 10% uh receiver screen rate careerh high that year too for him. So that that's what you're
84:22looking at. And then you're going to get probably more handoffs. Like you said, there's going to be a sprinkling of rushes as well.
84:30>> Broncos D off the board.
84:33>> Yeah, I think we have two. Houston also went, I believe, as well.
84:38>> Ray Davis would be the reason why I don't want Rams D, but I'd be interested.
84:42>> Uh I love Ray Davis, uh as well. You know what's funny is everyone talks about like the curse of you always bring
84:49up the joke kind of flippantly the tongue-in-cheek version of the these tweets the if well this guy had 368 touches so he's okay
84:56>> yeah right >> but no one talks about because everyone talks about CMC but James Cook had 400 touches too last year like including the
85:03playoffs like so it's like >> and again I don't I'm not really holding against CMC so I'm not holding against James Cook but if you want to do it yeah
85:11because Bejon has been at like 367 these last do the like this guy at 363.
85:18So, he's cool.
85:19>> Well, dude, that whole curse started and if you actually look at the guys who finished just underneath it, it's pretty
85:24freaking obvious where the uh numbers came from. So, >> Sadique goes off the board, too, who's a guy I was kind of like upside.
85:30>> Yeah, our tight end, too, is not looking nicy, but you know what? Whatever.
85:36>> Where are you at on a guy like Frier Moose?
85:40>> I don't really want him here.
85:41>> No, not with this pick, but just in general. I'm just throwing names out now at this point cuz we have to someone at
85:46some point.
85:46>> I don't I know McCarthy's run 11 in the past, but I just feel like when you're paying $90 million between Muth and
85:52Washington, it's going to be pretty split.
85:54>> They're a team that scares me on a weekly projection stands because I think they're going to flip. I think there'll
85:58be games they run a lot of 12 and then some games they run a lot of 11.
86:01>> I just think Rogers wants Washington out there like to protect them. I don't blame them. And there's a few teams like
86:06it this year. And like as we've shifted to more of the heavy personnel stuff, I think the next step, the evolution of
86:11this is where it's going to be frustrating for us as gamers that teams are going to come in and out of it.
86:16>> Yeah.
86:20>> All right. Jordan Love off the board. Be cool. Ray >> double dip, so it's fine. But I do love Jordan Love, too.
86:24>> Yeah.
86:25>> Um, you want you want to do Ray Davis?
86:27>> If you have a better name, I mean, I'm all ears, but >> I don't I like Ray Davis. I like Ray
86:31Davis here.
86:32>> Ray Davis coming down. We don't even have a pure handcuff yet because Chuba is probably going to be the week one
86:38starter and Rashad White I think is going to be more 1B. So, >> and granted if if we're playing that week, uh I also think just week 17
86:46outright Ray Davis has flex appeal.
86:48>> Yeah, right.
86:49>> Who they got in week 17. I I'm so happy to not memorize those anymore in my life. I'm so much happier.
86:57>> He's my highest known player in baseball. So, >> who do they have in week 17?
87:01>> Dolphins. Oh man. Yeah.
87:05When we're battling for $1 million over in the F.
87:08>> Ray Davis is gonna be the dude.
87:10>> Let's go. And then we're not going to win though because we didn't get Terrence freaking Ferguson.
87:14>> We are going to start thinking about these tight ends. We got like Frier, Barner, Karoyo, Doulich.
87:22>> Darren Waller gonna make the team.
87:25>> Yeah, Waller's at that back end here.
87:28>> I'd be cool Mayor like around 19 or 20.
87:30Oh yeah, we took mayor last night late too. I also really like mayor.
87:33>> He's going to start, dude. The the the two teams I'm most confident in living in multi-tight end are uh the Raiders
87:39and Bears. Probably Dolphins up there too >> because the other guy's a receiver and can go. Yeah, >> 100%.
87:48>> Like these wide receivers going around here, guys. Maybe a couple of them work out, but I just really struggle to
87:54think.
87:54>> I'm so glad we're not drafting any of these guys. I like AD Mitchell, but good luck trying to figure out when he's
88:00going to be out there. Man, >> the only guy I would say maybe we take a shot on with this roster is Malachi
88:05Fields.
88:07>> Yeah, because we got Dart.
88:08>> Because we have Dart and it's like a late round because he's going to start like Malachi Fields has sewed up the
88:12wide receiver two spot. Now the problem he's the third target in a Matt Naggie offense.
88:16>> Yeah, when you put it that way, >> but if ne you have outs though because like if Neighbors has a setback or like
88:21if he's just, you know, no one wants that. I want neighbors to be 100%. But it's it's in the realm of possibilities
88:30>> going into round 15. So probably should look at tight end here.
88:36Do you think we can push it a little bit? We have six more picks. Two of them be for >> I think we need to take at least two of
88:43these final six picks have to be tight ends and we and we already know we have to take a kicker and a defense.
88:49>> Yeah. So we'll probably get like one more running back with that. So, >> so we probably take one. Are you like
88:56more of like a doulich here and just hope like it works out or >> I don't hate Doulich, but I the running
89:06back's about to kind of evaporate. I will say >> who do you want? Do you have a guy you're you have a running back you're
89:10looking at?
89:10>> I mean, Brian Robinson's fine.
89:13>> You just pure handcuff Brian Robinson.
89:15>> Pure handcuff Brian Robinson. We have Kamani Vidal. We have Hampton. I know.
89:19I'm not saying we have to be [ __ ] but just a thought. Just a thought.
89:25What do you think? Do you see any other running? I mean, we could weigh and go like with a Seth McGoan. I'm just not
89:29all that confident if he's actually going to be that dude. If there's If there's a tight end that you want here,
89:34I know we're most We'd be fine not taking a running back. Is there a tight end here that you want?
89:39>> I mean, not really. It's just a group of dudes. It's just a group of dudes. We should probably get one of these group
89:44of dudes then if we need two more >> because we'd be really annoyed if we don't get one of these tight ends. How
89:51about AJ Barner? I'm a little bit bit more of a believer he's a new group of dudes.
89:54>> Listen, that's fine.
89:58>> I just think year three I know Aoyo could do some more, but if you do look at their even when a Royal was healthy
90:04last year, he wasn't doing all that much to Barner.
90:09>> He's like a different skill set, you know.
90:12Mayor >> Mayor Doulich the dog. Listen, the dogs I don't know if they that was an endorsement of AJ Barner or other
90:29>> I love it.
90:31>> My father-in-law just got here all the way from New York. That's a fun uh 10-hour drive.
90:35>> Oh, yeah. That's right. Awesome. And visiting for the weekend.
90:38>> Yeah, I had to go. Uh he loves the Greek yogurt yaso bars. So I always make sure to scoop up some of those when he comes.
90:46And then I buy an extra box or two so uh I can have some when he's gone because they're really good. I try to keep uh
90:52ice cream out of the house.
90:55>> There goes Brian Robinson was the next pick. So you were on it.
91:01>> That's happened a few times. Woody Marks went right after us as well. Jordan Love went right before us. We weren't going
91:06to take him though. Where you at with Kyler? Dwayne and I tried to really push the quarterback game. We ended up with
91:12Kyler and Jacobe Purset in the very last round because we literally um we got sniped on like Love, Malik, even like
91:21Darnold Straoud, like just inches away from getting that second QB we wanted.
91:27But where you at with Kyler?
91:28>> I think the price is right to to play for the right angle because I get the downside stuff I wrote a lot about too,
91:33just like his fit in this offense is very questionable. But if he was going like in the typical Kyler range where
91:39he's like QB8 to QB12, maybe you're a little like you bristle at that. But the fact that he's more like QB15 to QB18, I
91:45think it's palatable because if he's bad, >> you just throw him back, man. Like >> right >> round 13, Kyler, like that's not going
91:53to lose your league.
91:54>> He's still got Justin Jefferson. The offensive line is healthy right now.
91:57They're another team that's been like consistently like snake bit of like offensive line injuries. um because they've been aware like they've
92:05addressed the offensive line in in like the last five years. The problem is that they just keep getting guys hurt and
92:11it's unfortunate but and and the schedule lines up too. They actually have our number one ranked passing schedule for the year.
92:17>> So you he plays a ton of indoor games which you always talk about Kyler like he's that kind type of quarterback too.
92:23So >> I mean I get it to me it's just the price. Like >> if he's bad so what?
92:28>> You throw him back. Go pick up another quarterback. I saw Kyler was commenting on that viral top five wide receiver
92:36seasons ever Tik Tok video. Did you catch that, Reeves?
92:39>> No, I didn't.
92:40>> Dude, you have to watch it. Is the best 4 minutes and 30 seconds. You guys will see. I don't even I don't even want to
92:45spoil it for you, but there are two massive twists. I'm not into Tik Tok. I mean, no, Tik Tok's cool. I just don't
92:51scroll. I'm on Twitter enough. That's enough for my eyes and heart for, you know, to have one social media app. But
92:58just check it out, guys. I uh had a quote tweet with it today. Take my words for it. Four minutes 30 seconds. Very
93:05well spent. Anyway, through 15 rounds, got our two quarterbacks late. We waited until round 12, everyone. We got Jackson Dart, and then Jared Goff. And guess
93:16what? Bo Nicks, Mahomes, Kyler went in those rounds. Jordan Love went round 14.
93:21Malik Willis, Tyler Shuck, and Baker went round 15. We have Pertie and Stafford going round 12 and 13. I was saying, Reeves, like going into this
93:30draft season, I was like, I want to punish like make myself do a 100 push-ups anytime I don't every time I
93:35draft a quarterback before round 10. I think I was underelling it. I mean, you can wait until around 12 plus. It's been
93:41great. Like we talked about in the open that coming out of best season, it just it just feels so relieving to not have
93:46to take the quarterbacks in that strike zone where because in baseball, you have to take quarterbacks when like good receivers are available and it feels so
93:53bad always, right? And here you can just keep taking fun receivers and your running backs if you select those guys and just keep waiting man. It's it's
94:01amazing.
94:02>> We waited felt good about it. Didn't get snake bit.
94:05>> Hell yeah.
94:06>> Yeah. Doich finally go. Start off again CMC and Amar and Hampton. So feeling very strong about those top two RBs.
94:12Aqua did not take another one till round 10. Managed to get Rashad White and Chuba Hubard though. And again, who do
94:17we prefer? Yeah, probably Jonathan Brooks and Bill Crosky Merritt, but Bill went at the end of round eight and Brooks went all the way up there in the
94:24middle of round six. And anyone that's that confident about that difference, man, I just can't quite see that. Tacked on Ray Davis in round 14, we're probably
94:31going to add one more handcuffish running back. But again, with CMC and Hampton holding it down, feeling good there. We mentioned it after it happened
94:39in round nine, but we might not need to take another wide receiver, and it's looking like that's going to be the
94:42case. Luckily, we got six good ones.
94:44Jaylen Waddle, Luther Burden, Parker Washington, Chris Godwin, Quinton Johnson, and Matthew Golden. My usual preferred rule is at least five wide
94:53receivers in nine because we got six.
94:56I'm I'm fine with six because especially we feel so good about the RBs. Like the fact we got two of our top 12 RBs makes
95:03me feel better. More of a hero build where you are. You got that anchor and that's kind of it. Maybe then I'd be a
95:08little more inclined to tack on a Steelers running back of sorts. We kind of just missed out on those guys anyway.
95:14So, not much you can do there. Got Sam Laaporta at the end of round six, which is pretty darn good in tight end
95:18premium, and then tacked on AJ Barner in round 15, but we didn't get Terrence Ferguson. So, who who really cares at
95:24the end of the day?
95:25>> He he really would have tied the room together. It was like the Bulowski room just tied the rug rug just tied the room
95:31together, man. It would have been perfect.
95:33>> Oh, they took our guy Malachi Fields.
95:35I'm so sorry.
95:36>> I I saw Fields went uh Dantavian Wixs finally goes to now that Lemon's practicing, but I still think Wix is a pretty good value down in
95:44this spot. Like wide receiver 68, I'm pretty sure he beats that. I don't know if it ends up mattering, but >> I think he beats it
95:53>> for Wix.
95:55Oh, okay. He just went. I thought you were >> No. No. I mean, yeah, he went. I was just rattling off some guys that got
96:00drafted.
96:01>> Gunner Helm goes. We probably still need another tight end. We have Kar Frier.
96:08>> Could Waller Waller looked pretty good last year?
96:12>> Yeah, I I I just don't know how >> I don't really want I'd rather have >> Oh, you know, wait. You know what? Oh my
96:17gosh, I totally blanked.
96:19>> We have a one. We did take Barner, so yeah, at least he counts for this.
96:23>> Yeah, >> this format also has free roll.
96:25>> Oh, the free pass. Yeah.
96:27>> So, like we could take a dude like Kobe Parkinson and >> if he doesn't score, we just cut him >> like So this format also has the guys
96:35that play Wednesday and Thursday, you have a chance. You put them in your starting lineup and if they hit, you can
96:40leave them in, but if they don't, you can remove them for your starting lineup and also release them before Sunday. So
96:46>> crazy.
96:46>> We can't we could take like a Tanis or a Kobe Parkinson. Absolutely. And just like if they hit they we start them for
96:53a week and if they don't we cut them for something else cuz the same way I usually play kicker that way too in
96:58these formats is get a free look at a kicker. The difference this year though versus previous years is there are two
97:03free roll games because there's a Wednesday game and a Thursday game this year. Like you have like Bora Galas now Jason Meyers and Memphis always get
97:10drafted anyways. But like Pinro and uh Boralis like those are guys you can take a free roll at and if they have 10
97:17points or 12 points you put them in. If they have one you cut them and just for kicker. It's it's actually a great
97:23loophole to to play through this. So we can keep our mind to take like a dart on a Kobby Parkinson as well.
97:28>> We're on the clock. I don't think we maybe need to go tight end just yet. The two >> No, I was saying
97:34>> running backs that stick out to me.
97:35Kamani Vidal, Malik Davis, James Connor.
97:37Any of those names do anything for you?
97:40>> Vidal would be the only guy. I know that. Like I just I >> We get a sick defense. The Eagles are
97:45there. And we could also do my Ravens.
97:46>> Oh, I do like Eagles a lot.
97:48>> Let's do Eagles.
97:50>> Oh, yeah. Cuz one, not only are they a good defense, >> cool.
97:53>> Like a good elite defense. Like they get an awesome run out.
97:57I have them in the Ravens right next to each other five six and I've I started off with the Eagles fifth even in my
98:05like big five group. I just I was looking at the Ravens schedule a little bit but man just Vic Fangio all those
98:11young dudes they got running around there. It's going to be a nice ball control offense as well.
98:16>> Eagles, >> the Commanders and that offensive line that we just talked about in week one.
98:20Then Titans next the week after that.
98:22>> Two games against the Giants and Commanders is pretty nice. Yeah, you have a Panthers game in the front. I mean, they play some good teams, too,
98:28but you get the, you know, Giants games, you get a Panthers game, all in the front half. Um, yeah, definitely like
98:34the Eagles a lot. I don't mind if we're going to go on a defense, I was way good on that.
98:38>> That was the fifth defense off the board. Again, Texans, Broncos went second in this one. Rams went third. The Rams one's just so crazy because we've
98:48had the whole Aaron Donald and the Miles Garrett trade and they're like, "Oh yeah, they also fixed their secondary by invading the Chiefs for both of their
98:54really good corners as well." So Rams are going to be a wagon.
98:58>> Their defense the front half of the year last year was incredible. And when they started to have the injuries at
99:05quarterback is when it started to fall apart. So, the fact that they added not only McDuffy but Watson, too, like and
99:13Miles Garrett, man, it's it's definitely scary.
99:20Whoop. Forgot I had some Where is that mock draft?
99:27I'm on the clock for something. That's not good.
99:30>> You uh Oh, you're on the clock. Uh, >> we're good.
99:33>> You were talking about taking one more handcuffy running back. Where are you on Sage Perine?
99:37Man, I Dwayne was trying to talk me into him last night. Sage Peron again.
99:43>> You know, you really think if Chase Brown went down, they're not figuring something out. That's not I mean, Peron hasn't had a 100 carries in a season
99:50since he freaking since his rookie year, >> but he's going to catch a ton of passes.
99:54>> Yeah, I guess he freaking could.
99:56>> And he would still be the goal line back in that scenario.
100:03>> You don't think Todd You don't think he could be like the Tai Johnson? I know he's big, so maybe he's not.
100:08>> I mean, he was getting a little bit of goal line stuff last year, the back half.
100:15>> Um, there goes Kamani. Okay. All right.
100:18Now that Vidal is gone, I'm okay with that because I have the same concern with Malik Davis. My other question would be James Connor.
100:26>> Yeah, James Connor, you're just hoping for the the cut trade. My problem with James Connor is I would be a lot more
100:31confident in that if he wasn't hurt already.
100:34>> Yeah. the fact he's not back. I mean, they didn't put him on pup, but they're just like, "Yeah, we don't know when
100:39he's gonna be out there in 11 hours," >> right? It's harder to trade like like I'm sure teams are be like like, "Hey,
100:44what's going on here?" Like >> it's like, "Hey, uh why is he not practicing?"
100:49>> Because there are outs for him like obviously the Lions because Pacheco again I saw he had a new injury this
100:54week. This week he had a back injury.
100:56Yeah. Um, obviously he is the Psing connection and you know I don't know if it's probably loose but you know the
101:02Packers he played just played under Jonathan Ganon and you know Ganon was hired there. Maybe he stumps for them with the Jacob stuff but
101:09>> what was the Connor surgery man because it was a foot. They initially said ankle was actually foot surgery. I don't know.
101:17You want Peron?
101:19>> Um I don't mind. Yeah, if you you want unless you want to do uh Yeah. There's no one else, right?
101:26>> Mayor would be the one guy. But if you want to do the free pass tight end thing, I get it, too.
101:32>> Oh, yeah. Well, I I would be fine just taking Mayor instead of trying to be too cute and saying we have to do a free
101:37roll >> because I think is a better player. I just think Mayor's a better player then.
101:42>> Yeah, let's go Michael Mayer.
101:43>> Yeah, that's cool with me.
101:46>> He probably won't have standalone value, but it's I don't know. He could finish tight end 18 or something and then in this
101:53format that actually >> I definitely think in round 20 we just do whatever kicker is there from Pinter Boralis and then
102:00>> Sweet. Yeah, that makes a ton of sense.
102:02>> And then if they score 12, you put keep them and if they score one, we just get another dude.
102:08>> We have better defense. So we could actually I think we have an extra pick than we were anticipating. I might have
102:13added it up wrong. So we're going to have two more picks before we got to get our kicker. So we can maybe get Peron
102:18and Connor. Who knows? Crazier things have happened.
102:20>> True, true, true, true, true, true.
102:23>> Yeah, because we're good at receiver still. We talked about maybe taking one more receiver, but we just didn't really find a spot to get one. Malachi Fields
102:30was like the one guy I was kind of looking at.
102:32>> Yeah, Jaylen Naylor's still on the board somehow. Start loading up on Raiders.
102:40>> Yeah, let's get all the Raiders.
102:42>> My guy Travis Hunter. Judy. God damn it.
102:48Junior's gonna prove everyone wrong. I should double down more than ever. Rank him like wide receiver 38.
102:53>> I mean, people are going to be mad when he has like a 85% route participation in week one.
102:57>> The thing that got me, and shout out to my guy Dwayne, he's made this point over the years. I've learned a few things.
103:05Uh, if Denzel Boston goes for 90 yards in a tut in week one, everyone's going to lose their minds. If Judy does,
103:11they're going to be like, "We don't care.
103:13>> Don't care." The rookie early breakout is real. And you know, got to talk to Zack Jackson on this very channel. Great
103:22conversation. He was saying like, "Not even close. Boston and Casey performing better than this guy." So, every year, Reeves, I'm just obligated.
103:31My mind makes me draft some dud loser wide receiver. I like pick 160 again and again and again. And I look at my
103:38exposure afterwards. I'm like, "Why did I do this?" But, you know, maybe next year.
103:42>> At least it was a cheap player. Yeah, they end up being expensive expensive in your portfolio, but he was a low cost
103:49player in drafts.
103:51>> Just only hype up real like distant late round dudes and then if >> you're high stone guys are always going
103:57to be those guys that are super late cuz they're just your kind of go-tos in this. You're like, "Hey man, I actually
104:02got I'm telling myself a story on this player that's super cheap. No one else."
104:06>> That's why it's it's impressive if you can get anyone like the top 50 at like 20% or higher ownership. You're going
104:11out of your way to get them at that point. I told you my highest guy that I have is is Ray Davis. Like and it's it's
104:17like same thing. Like Ray Davis is my highest roster player.
104:21>> I uh shout to one of you guys in the comments. You're holding me accountable.
104:24You got you guys got me at least once.
104:26Okay. You got me at least once so far since we started off this channel, but when I was going through the handcuffs,
104:30I had Ray Davis in my top five handcuffs. I was just giving Tai Johnson a little bit of respect because I was
104:36like, it was just that one game from 2024. And again, week 18's my blind spot sometimes, man. Cuz fantasy season's over. I'm usually driving back from New
104:46York after visiting the in-laws and stuff. So, I just didn't put it together that Ray again dominated the usage over Tai in week 18 last year. He's had 23
104:54touches now in both of those games without James Cook and balled the hell out in both of them, too, man. Like, I
104:59know they didn't use him quite as much on the ground this last season, but that was also because he was too busy messing
105:05around being a first team all pro kick returner.
105:07>> I also think that's going to change. I think they're going to alleviate James Cook's rushing attempts. Not not to the
105:12point where anyone's scared for fantasy, but I just think there's going to be that's where they kind of give him a
105:17little bit fewer touches and then they trade some off for receptions, which are just better for fantasy anyways.
105:22>> But I do think we're going to see a little more Ray Davis in the in the regular offense. Kind of more like year
105:26one Ray Davis.
105:30>> Look, I'm not saying the dude is James Cook or anything, but he's kind of out there made the most of his
105:35opportunities. Even if he's average, it's the Bills offense. the Bills. It's a great great offensive line.
105:41>> Uh still really good even though Austin Edwards, but still really plus offensive line. You've got Josh Allen there score a buck buttload of points and he can
105:48catch too. Like if he's not he's not a zero either in the pass game.
105:52>> No, not at all.
105:54Kron Allen, Nicholas Singleton back to back on the same squad. Love seeing that Lions >> back together. Reeves, I know you were
106:02doing that a lot with Isaiah likely and Mark Andrews.
106:05>> Yeah. Yeah. I also like doing it uh with Gibbs and Montgomery in the front like keep those guys together. They're great
106:12camaraderie.
106:14>> I was uh a proponent now I've moved on to just golf and Kyler because it's so easy to do. But I like the uh the Boomer
106:21Sooner late round QB strategy because it was provocative you can get Kyler and Baker >> back on the same team.
106:26>> I mean Baker I think's just undervalued.
106:28They're a team I think is going to have to throw a lot too. Their secondary is not good. They can get caught in some
106:33shootouts. Their run defense is going to be awesome.
106:36>> I probably always had a soft spot for Kyler because I think that's my biggest bet I've ever hit was just like an early
106:41season Heisman one for Kyler because I remember watching him >> I remember watching him run around at&m and I was like who the hell because it
106:47was him and Kyle Allen were uh the two five stars. I was like who the hell is this Kylo Murray guy? He's the fastest
106:53dude on the field and he's like 5'5 and made his way to Oklahoma and Baker was obviously the man but when Kyler got his
106:59chance he certainly made the most of it.
107:02Zachariah Branch.
107:03>> I'm hoping when we make these three picks, when we get out of here, Taylor Green's playing in this preseason game
107:08and we can watch Taylor Green run around.
107:10>> Oh, hell yeah.
107:11>> He hasn't played. He didn't play the whole first half. I saw Gabriel played the whole first half.
107:15>> Come on. I'd be so fine watching Never watching, I should say, Dylan Gabriel.
107:20>> He threw three touchdowns, but it was against a bunch of >> I'm just [ __ ] on the guy. Yeah, he
107:26threw three touchdowns, so you know.
107:28>> No, he was nice at Oregon. I'll give him respect. you know, year nine at Oregon.
107:32He got some good things going.
107:34>> Got to show us some respect. We'll make these two picks and we can just bounce, man. I'll just queue up a bunch of
107:40>> No, it's cool. I I honestly have a uh a 10 p.m. hit on this uh sleeper thing we're doing. I didn't think this draft
107:46would go a full two hours, but >> No, that the the one difference, like I said, I you know, comparing us coming
107:51out of best season, the one thing that you do kind of miss is that you go going from the 20 second clock to the minute
107:56clock is a is a big diff is a huge difference. We don't need a minute. Do 30 seconds. Figure it out beforehand.
108:03All right. Uh Malik Davis, James Connor, the top running backs I have. Jarz Hunter got traded. Maybe he's the guy in
108:12Miami. I don't know. Probably not. I guess Perine's still there. We can Let's do Pine.
108:16>> Let's do Per Ryan. And if you want to do Connor coming back, I'm cool with that.
108:19And then we >> because I think Connor has a bigger chance of still being there than Per Ryan.
108:25>> Yeah, I agree with that.
108:27Peron's got that beard, too, man.
108:29>> What's that?
108:30>> Peron's got that beard.
108:32>> Yeah, aesthetics, man.
108:35>> That thing is deep.
108:37>> Sama Piran Gam Medov out here. All right. Sama Piran, I relented. Come on down. RB6 for us. Take that.
108:48>> Yes.
108:50Jaylen Wright just after I guess the Olly Gordon ribb injury could be maybe be a little worse than anticipated, but Jaylen Wright also lost a fumble last
108:59week. There's a chance they both just suck. Let's be honest.
109:02>> Yeah, I mean probably and the Dolphins like are probably going to be bad anyways. If Achan were to go down, I
109:07don't know if we'd be squeezing. Like Achan is like the dude where you're like, "All right, he can overcome this because he's this good at football." But
109:13the other guys, you're like, "I don't know." Like definitely not.
109:16>> Definitely not.
109:17>> So true.
109:19Um, and I also just think McVey really likes Dean Connors. I think that he really lo like like like he really likes
109:25Dean Connors and I was like, "Yeah, I'm okay to move on with this."
109:29>> Ronnie Rivers is a guy too, right?
109:31>> Yeah, dude. When Ronnie Rivers was playing on third downs in that playoff game against the Bears, I was like losing my mind. I was like, "What is
109:37happening?" I was like, "Why is Why are you on the field, Ronnie Rivers?
109:40>> What is happening right now?"
109:43>> Or was it a I think it was a Seahawks game is when he was playing. Yeah, it was the uh the second game, the second
109:48playoff game.
109:51>> Sometimes I accidentally leave Spotify up and I like >> pretend their third playoff game.
109:54>> I adjust my earphone and I have Spotify in the background just music starts blasting in my ears. Got MGK going on. I
110:01honestly read I do most of my shows uh you know solo and I still put my earbuds in. I'm not listening to anyone.
110:09>> Correct.
110:09>> I still put them in. I'm talking into a microphone. I don't need the earphones for anything. But I don't know. Still
110:16have him. Still have him in.
110:18>> There goes Travis Hunter. Finally. Malik Davis. Justice Hill. Justin Hill is fine in baseball. I just I think it's probably Adam Randall if anyone. And
110:26Baltimore is another one of those teams, man. I think they probably signed someone if it comes down to Brass.
110:31>> Yeah, absolutely.
110:33>> He got banged up too, right?
110:37>> Randall. Yeah, he is a little bit banged up. Rasha Lee hasn't been playing at all. That's the other thing. Okay, there
110:43goes Naji. I was about to broach that topic cuz I think I saw a [ __ ] >> Oh, yeah. I would I would have allowed
110:48it at this point. You could literally tell me on anybody.
110:53>> AJ Dylan. No, >> we're in the We're in the f around and find out zone.
110:58>> Okay, last pick. Or do we How about we just get our um h Let's go. Let's go. James Connor.
111:05>> You wanted Connor. Take Connor.
111:07>> I mean, James Connor I he plans on playing football, right?
111:13Come on team. I thought that about Brandon Auk at one time.
111:16>> Oh my god. There was like a I didn't do it all summer. Thank the Lord, but there was like a week where I was clicking a
111:23lot of uh >> we talked about it when we hung out in June. Like early on I was like it felt
111:27like it was I was like he's he's not as crazy as everyone thinks. He's kind of just posturing to get out of there. And
111:31then the second he tweeted back at Jaden Daniels I was like oh no. I was like oh no we've it was literally the Arrested
111:38Development meme like >> now we're out. Now we're done.
111:43>> Oh, made a huge mistake.
111:45>> Okay, I'm queuing up a ton of kickers.
111:47Reeves one last time going through his squad. RB1, RB2, Christian McCaffrey, Amar, and Hampton. Lock down those spots. What do we do? We attack this
111:56middle range of wide receivers. Again, prefer five and nine. We ended up going in with even more than that because we
112:02are just that cool. Jaylen Wadd, Luther Burton, Parker Washington tacked on Chris Goblin, Quinton Johnson, and Matthew Golden. After that, got our
112:10tight end in the middle of that, Mr. Sam Leaporta. Finally in round 10 went back to running back Rashad White. Chuba
112:16Huard. Yeah, that's right. Haven't named the quarterback yet. Didn't need one until round 12. We got Jackson Dart who, yeah, a little bit of a wild child. What
112:22if he gets hurt? Well, if he does, then we got Jared Golf playing a one dome game after another in a loaded offense
112:27with Sam Laora on our squad throw on the ball, too. Scoots up Ray Davis as a nice handcuff RB, Sama Japan, and James
112:33Connor rounds 18 and 19 to fill out that room. Got some more tight ends because this is tight end premium. You don't
112:38want to just be sitting with one.
112:40Normally though, reddraft, feel free to do so. AJ Barer and Michael Mayer got that Eagles defense that we were feeling pretty good about there. And man, all
112:48right, Ravens didn't go to round 19. So, I was very fine with the Eagles. But guys, again, if we had missed out on
112:53Philly, Baltimore Ravens, that's the DST skeleton key for the very late rounds, I do believe, this year. I'm feeling pretty good. Reeves, how about you?
113:02>> Yeah, this is a fun team. I think it's it's it's structurally built the way you like in there's no like outliers here.
113:09We didn't chase a position and we got a lot of fun upside picks at receiver that we threw into the hopper and if these
113:16running backs are just good like is this roster is going to be real good. If CMC and Hampton are this good at the top
113:21like we're going to be in a really strong spot.
113:23>> Hope we will be my >> tight end is the only spot for this format I think that like we flew into
113:27the sun but you're always going to fly into the sun somewhere in a in a snake draft.
113:32>> And for the record we were so ready to get Terren Ferguson. Reeves was spelling it out and then just got sniped before
113:38you even finished your rant, too. That that freaking sucks. But Reeves, you're a gentleman and a scholar and a good friend of mine, man. I always appreciate
113:45hanging out with you. Anything fun you got going on you want people to know about?
113:49>> Yeah. So, I mean, I have the whole draft kit, you know, up at the site at sharpanalysis.com. You can check that
113:53out. Uh it's got like a lot of game theory stuff, too. Not just if you're looking for rankings and tiers. I have
113:59those, too. But, uh it's a lot more like how to, you know, play the game in fantasy football as well. I love I find
114:03that stuff very interesting. I also have a lot of real I did like a lot of fun series on like leaguewide trends like
114:09what like the league is doing and like how they're using utilizing each position and how that relates to fantasy. So that's a really fun series
114:14to do that I always like doing and other than that I just hope that injuries are turned off these final two weeks and you
114:20know we're blessed going into the season. Um, so yeah, listen, like and subscribe to this channel. Uh, aience, I'll hit you at YouTube as your own,

114:38the video and as Reeves mentioned, hit that subscribe button helps out as well.
114:41But don't tell anyone about this channel, okay? We want to keep this very small and a select few so that only us
114:47win fantasy football. Isn't that the hilarious thing? Like, oh yeah, let me tell my boy about this great fantasy football advice channel so he can, you
114:55know, just start knowing all my secrets.
114:56What a uh, you know, freaking awesome content industry. But that alarm means I have to go. So, it's been a pleasure,
115:02everyone. Until next time, take care everybody.
