A.J. Brown

PositiveValue4:07

Ian Hartitz ranks AJ Brown as his WR5 overall and notes he's falling a few picks off his true value at the round 2-3 turn, which he finds surprising. This positioning makes Brown an undervalued target in that range, representing a discount on a top-5 caliber receiver. Hartitz targets Brown as a preferred wide receiver option in double-wide-receiver strategies at the 2-3 turn if premium running backs are unavailable, and ideally wants him to fall to pick 101. Hartitz notes that drafting from positions one through five gives you a much better chance of securing Brown in round two.

Insight page
NegativeProjection22:20

A.J. Brown went in the middle of round three in Hartitz's mock draft, earlier than anticipated. His departure reduced the quality of the wide receiver tier available and contributed to Brock Bowers falling to a later round, suggesting AJB's ADP may be rising.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

NegativeProjection15:15

Ian Hartitz expresses skepticism about Amon-Ra St. Brown's ability to finish as a wide receiver one in 2026 despite three-to-four straight seasons of elite production; he questions whether St. Brown can achieve that overall WR1 season like Chase or Puka in a new offense, suggesting regression risk or uncertainty about his ceiling in the new system.

Insight page

Antonio Gibson

PositiveValue23:01

Hartitz secured Gibson as one of his two elite running backs early in the draft, establishing a strong RB foundation before pivoting to wide receiver.

Insight page

Bo Nix

PositiveValue19:12

Ian Hartitz highlights Bo Nix as a late-round quarterback (round 12) that can be targeted in the 101 draft position strategy, suggesting he offers value at that stage. Hartitz expresses enthusiasm about Nix remaining available in round 10, noting strong quarterback options available late in the draft.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

NegativeValue35:16

Ian Hartitz selected Braelon Allen as a handcuff running back in the later rounds of a 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR mock draft. Hartitz noted 'Why not? I still think Isaiah Davis could come back,' indicating uncertainty about Allen's role but willingness to take him as a handcuff option.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeInjury6:54

Ian Hartitz advises against targeting Breece Hall at the round 2-3 turn due to injury concerns. He explicitly warns against chasing injuries in fantasy football, noting they will find you soon enough, making Hall a risky pick at that stage.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue3:44

Ian Hartitz highlights Brock Bowers as a key target in round two, particularly from the 10-5 draft position, describing a strategy where you secure one of the top five running backs or wide receivers in round one, then land Bowers in round two, creating a best-of-both-worlds scenario. Hartitz emphasizes his 'super Bowers draft strategy' as a preferred approach. Bowers' scarcity at elite TE by the round 2 turn benefits the 101 pick strategy by allowing drafters to pivot to elite wide receivers at the round 2-3 turn instead of reaching for a second-tier tight end. Hartitz successfully drafts Bowers as part of well-constructed rosters that include premium wide receivers and Jamir Gibbs.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveValue25:26

Brock Purdy lasted until round 10 in Hartitz's mock draft, demonstrating strong ADP value for a starting quarterback. Hartitz adheres to his rule of not taking a QB before round 10 and selected Purdy at that stage. In a separate 104-pick mock, Hartitz paired Purdy with Christian McCaffrey in a QB-RB stack, noting 'if you're going to do one, I should probably be with those guys,' indicating strong conviction on the pairing and Purdy's value.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeBust5:45

Ian Hartitz explicitly fades Bucky Irving, stating 'I don't want Bucky Irving,' which is pushing him to prioritize wide receivers in his draft strategy. Earlier, Hartitz noted Irving is going in round 4 on Yahoo and represents better value than other running back options, but his later commentary reveals a shift to avoiding Irving in favor of WR depth.

Insight page

Cam Akers

NegativeValue22:37

Went off the board in the middle of round four in this draft simulation as part of a running back push.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeDepth Chart6:55

Chase Brown is unlikely to be available at the 2-3 turn in most drafts; positioned as a premium early-round target that typically gets selected before that point.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeInjury18:43

Chris Godwin is noted as being a little bit banged up right now. Ian Hartitz raises the question of whether the ADP disparity between Godwin and DK Metcalf was too large to begin with, suggesting injury concerns may be impacting his value.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveValue5:10

Ian Hartitz expects Chris Olave to miss approximately six weeks of the regular season with an estimated return around week 8, but positions him as set up for strong second-half value at the round 2-3 turn, comparing his potential to his late-season performance from the previous year. Hartitz selected Olave over Alvin Vizcaino Neighbors in the mockdraft, citing that Olave is healthier despite the two being ranked close together. Hartitz includes Olave in his core group of four wide receivers he truly believes could achieve top-12 seasons if things break right for them, alongside Jaylen Waddle, Christian Watson, and Parker Washington. Olave was selected as the WR1 in the mock draft, indicating Hartitz prioritizes him as his top wide receiver option.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

PositiveRole27:27

Ian Hartitz views Chris Rodriguez as a potential RB1 in Jacksonville, indicating he sees him as a lead-back candidate with significant role upside and confidence in his offensive opportunity and production ceiling.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection13:41

Ian Hartitz ranks Christian McCaffrey third overall pending resolution of a tightness issue, expressing no major alarm about the injury; he selected CMC as his round-one pick from the 10-6 position in a Yahoo mock draft, prefers him over Puka Nacua at the turn in 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR citing comfort with securing a premium RB to start, and stacked him with Brock Purdy in a QB-RB pairing, noting 'if you're going to do one, I should probably be with those guys.' The tightness monitoring and overall third-overall ranking reflect confidence in his elite tier status despite durability concerns.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection24:27

Ian Hartitz selects Watson in round five as one of four wide receivers he genuinely believes could achieve top-12 seasons if circumstances align; part of his core group alongside Chris Olave, Jaylen Waddle, and Parker Washington. Hartitz also selected Watson over Parker Washington in round six of a 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR draft as part of his WR-heavy early strategy.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeInjury21:50

Chuba Hubbard's status is still being reflected in ADP updates as of mid-August; Yahoo ADP is still catching up to recent news regarding the Jonathan Brooks situation and its impact on Hubbard's role.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeInjury17:00

Ian Hartitz selected Colston Loveland in round four of a Yahoo mock draft from the 10-6 position but expressed regret about the pick due to a toe injury concern, noting he should have selected Mecca Ibuka instead because of Loveland's health status. However, in other draft contexts, Hartitz expressed enthusiasm about securing Loveland in round four, calling him elite value at tight end and noting he's one of only two early-round tight ends (alongside Brock Bowers) he's willing to break the late-round TE strategy for.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeValue9:47

Ian Hartitz officially removed DJ Moore from his fade list after re-evaluating draft position and ankle injury status; he now believes the price is reasonable in rounds 5-6 and compares Moore favorably to Mike Evans tier. Hartitz lists DJ Moore as a tier-one wide receiver option for first-five-round drafting alongside AJ Brown, Malik Neighbors, Lab Mcconi, Luther Burton, and Mike Evans as part of an ideal early-round fantasy team construction.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue7:23

DeAndre Swift has never finished worse than RB2 with explosive pass-catching ability in a loved offense; primary competition for touches (Khalen Kingsbury) could be at less than 100% upon return, supporting Swift's upside in the 4-5 turn. Swift is one of three primary round 4-5 running back targets if only one RB is taken in the first three rounds, alongside Travis Etienne and David Montgomery. Hartitz identifies Swift as one of three preferred RB targets in rounds 4-5 for second RB, willing to pivot away from WR for these three backs. Swift is also listed as a probable first-five-round running back target alongside Jamir Gibbs, positioning him as a tier-one option in early-round draft strategy for slots 1-5. Hartitz identifies Swift as part of a patch of running backs in rounds four and five that he would be willing to target when drafting from positions one through five, suggesting strong value in that range.

Insight page
NegativeValue24:05

Hartitz considered Swift at the 4/5 turn but chose David Montgomery instead, noting the two are very close in his rankings. In round five, Hartitz would be comfortable drafting Swift if only two wide receivers were required to start, but passes due to the three-WR requirement in this league format.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeProjection6:27

DeVante Adams is ranked around wide receiver 23-25 currently, with some mindfulness given to age-related decline risk, though still viable in the mid-round range.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeValue7:44

Hartitz projects Montgomery for 300+ touches in the Texans offense despite concerns about offensive line quality and aging talent profile; he likes the fact that the Texans should be a really good football team, making Montgomery a round 4-5 target for second RB in his ideal draft strategy. Montgomery is one of three primary round 4-5 running back targets if only one RB is taken in the first three rounds, alongside Travis Etienne and DeAndre Swift. Hartitz includes Montgomery as a probable first-five-round running back target alongside Jamir Gibbs and DeAndre Swift, positioning him as a tier-one option in early-round draft strategy. Montgomery is positioned as one of the patch of running backs in rounds four and five that Hartitz would be willing to risk it for in the 101 draft position strategy, suggesting he offers value at that stage. Hartitz selected Montgomery over DeAndre Swift at the 4/5 turn, noting the two are very close in his rankings but choosing Montgomery. Hartitz drafts Montgomery as a solid RB2 option to complement Jamir Gibbs, Brock Bowers, and four premium wide receivers in his balanced roster construction.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection6:55

Ian Hartitz selected Derrick Henry as his round-two pick in a Yahoo mock draft from the 10-6 position, demonstrating confidence in securing two elite running backs early in the draft from that position. Hartitz views Henry as unlikely to be available at the 2-3 turn in most drafts, positioned as a premium early-round target that typically gets selected before that point.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveValue22:49

Ian Hartitz notes that if DeVonta Smith could fall back to the 4/5 turn, that would be 'pretty sweet,' though he acknowledges it's unlikely. This indicates Hartitz views Smith as undervalued at his current ADP.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveValue18:38

Ian Hartitz notes that DK Metcalf has been priced as the boomer wide receiver three throughout his career, suggesting his ADP may undervalue him relative to his consistent production potential.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveValue4:11

Ian Hartitz identifies Drake London as a receiver who regularly falls into the round 2-3 turn range, making him a reliable target in that draft window. London is part of Hartitz's preferred group of receivers to acquire at the turn.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeProjection19:39

Isaiah Likely is positioned as a round 10 tight end option in the 101 draft position strategy, described as a boring but available target at that stage alongside Jake Ferguson and Jawan Johnson.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeRole10:20

Ian Hartitz lacks confidence in Jadarian Price due to Charbanet's return, suggesting reduced role or opportunity in the offense.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeProjection19:39

Jake Ferguson is mentioned as a tight end option available around round 10 in the 101 draft position strategy, grouped with Isaiah Likely and Jawan Johnson as available targets at that stage.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveSleeper26:06

Hartitz expresses strong enthusiasm for Jaylen Coker as a sleeper wide receiver option, calling him 'the biggest cokehead out here,' suggesting significant upside potential relative to his draft position.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeValue7:05

Hartitz identifies Javonte Williams as a potential round 3 RB option contingent on resolving legal issues. If legal problems are cleared, Williams becomes a viable target at that stage, representing a conditional opportunity in play at round 3 as a potential running back option if building with two RBs in the first three rounds.

Insight page
PositiveValue16:43

Ian Hartitz identifies Javante Williams as a viable round-three option when drafting from the 10-5 position after securing a top-five player and Brock Bowers, suggesting he's a reliable mid-round target in this draft strategy.

Insight page

Jayden Higgins

PositiveSleeper26:16

Ian Hartitz identifies Jaden Higgins as a good sleeper option in the later rounds, viewing him as undervalued relative to his draft position and potential production.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

NegativeValue18:51

Jaden Reed is mentioned as one of the wide receiver targets available in the round six and beyond range in Ian Hartitz's draft strategy for the 101 draft position. He remains available in round eight and is noted as one of the remaining viable wide receiver options alongside Josh Downs.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveProjection6:03

Ian Hartitz positions Jaylen Waddle as a breakout wide receiver candidate going slightly earlier than the 4-5 turn, representing upside at that stage. Hartitz is hyping Waddle in rounds 5-6 and explicitly states he believes in Waddle, positioning him as a preferred WR target in that range. Hartitz includes Waddle in his core group of four wide receivers he truly believes could achieve top-12 seasons if things break right for them, alongside Chris Olave, Christian Watson, and Parker Washington. Waddle was selected in round five as part of Hartitz's heavy wide receiver investment in the middle rounds.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeValue23:56

Available in round five as a running back option, though Hartitz notes he's 'not bad' but doesn't select him, preferring to continue addressing wide receiver needs.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury6:54

Ian Hartitz advises against targeting Jeremiah Love at the round 2-3 turn due to injury concerns. He explicitly warns against chasing injuries in fantasy football, noting they will find you soon enough, making Love a risky pick at that stage.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveValue21:50

Jonathan Brooks is selected by Ian Hartitz in round eight as one of the top running backs available at that stage, though Hartitz acknowledges it is very unlikely he will be available in most real drafts due to rising ADP; Brooks is noted as potentially unavailable at his current draft position as he rises in rankings.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

NegativeInjury19:52

Jordan Tyson is sidelined, which impacts tight end availability and strategy in the 101 draft position approach; his absence creates opportunity for other tight end targets like Terence Ferguson.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveValue4:11

Ian Hartitz ranks Josh Allen 26th overall and considers pick 101 (early round 3) a reasonable spot to target him; he would not chase Allen into round 2 but believes it's a good value at that position, ahead of late-round QB strategy. Josh Allen will be available at the turn (rounds 2-3) in 2026 drafts, offering elite quarterback value at a position where consensus top-12 options are scarce early. Hartitz selected Josh Allen as his round-three pick in a Yahoo mock draft from the 10-6 position, indicating confidence in the quarterback as a mid-round target.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveRole18:51

Josh Downs may be sliding in draft position after the Colts signed Keenan Allen, suggesting reduced target share or role opportunity due to the addition of another receiver to the offense.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeValue7:05

Hartitz identifies Josh Jacobs as a potential round 3 RB option contingent on resolving legal issues. If legal problems are cleared, Jacobs becomes a viable target at that stage, representing a conditional opportunity in play at round 3 as a potential running back option for two-RB-in-three-rounds strategy.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveProjection19:39

Jawan Johnson is described as a great pick among the tight end options available around round 10 in the 101 draft position strategy, positioned favorably compared to Isaiah Likely and Jake Ferguson.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveRole28:07

Ian Hartitz selects Katon Mitchell as a running back with high-end handcuff upside, emphasizing that Mitchell's production potential depends heavily on offensive environment and play-caller; the selection suggests significant ceiling if he gains a lead-back role.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveValue32:00

Hartitz is comfortable taking Kenneth Walker as the last remaining RB at the 1-2 turn in 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR, viewing him as solid value when other backs slide. Walker was selected as RB2 in Hartitz's early draft position mock (104 pick) paired with Christian McCaffrey, with Hartitz noting confidence in the pairing: 'we think we're going to be good there' regarding the running back room of CMC and Walker. However, Walker is unlikely to be available at the 2-3 turn in most drafts, positioned as a premium early-round target that typically gets selected before that point.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue27:47

Ian Hartitz selects Kyler Murray as a second quarterback option to add upside to the roster, viewing him as a valuable late-round QB pick with ceiling potential. Hartitz notes that having two shots at quarterback is fine, particularly when you have a higher upside option like Murray, even when the primary QB (Brock Purdy) is not in the top 10 for a reason.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveValue6:03

Ladd McConkey is expected to go at the 4-5 turn and represents value as a wide receiver option in that range, positioning him as a mid-round target in Hartitz's draft strategy.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue6:15

Luther Burden is getting a discount at the 4-5 turn despite being fully expected to be ready for week one, offering value at that stage. Ian Hartitz views him as a preferred wide receiver option in that range.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveValue7:12

Hartitz targets Malik Nabers in round 3 of a 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR draft, noting higher ceiling potential compared to Chris Olave and citing Jordan Tyson's eventual return as a positive for the receiving corps. Nabers is also a fallback option in double-wide-receiver strategy at 2-3 turn if AJ Brown unavailable; positioned as a strong alternative wide receiver target.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeValue18:11

Ian Hartitz views Marvin Harrison Jr. as a year-three prospect with uncertain upside and expresses reluctance to invest in the Cardinals offense early. He prefers waiting until round six or seven rather than drafting him in rounds three or four, indicating skepticism about early-round value and suggesting the player is overvalued at current ADP.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeProjection6:19

Mike Evans is currently ranked around wide receiver 23-25, but could push toward wide receiver one borderline status as early as week one or two. Age is a consideration for potential fall-off, though upside remains; Ian Hartitz gives mindfulness to the idea that older receivers could see decline, but Evans has the potential to outperform his current ranking. Hartitz also lists Evans as a tier-one wide receiver option for first-five-round drafting alongside AJ Brown, Malik Neighbors, Ladd McConkey, Luther Burden, and DJ Moore.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

NegativeValue35:16

Mike Washington was selected as a handcuff running back in the later rounds of the early draft position mock (104 pick). Hartitz noted 'Give me a Mike Washington' as part of his strategy to load up on handcuffs in later rounds, emphasizing the importance of handcuffs given injury risk.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveValue4:11

Ian Hartitz notes Nico Collins regularly falls into the round 2-3 turn range, making him a consistent target at that draft window. Collins is included in Hartitz's preferred group of receivers to acquire at the turn.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveProjection24:27

Ian Hartitz drafts Parker Washington in round five as one of four wide receivers he truly believes could produce top-12 seasons if things break right for them; part of a core group alongside Chris Olave, Jaylen Waddle, and Christian Watson.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeProjection13:41

Ian Hartitz ranks Puka Nacua as a top-four fantasy pick and tier-one round-one option, but expresses concern about his off-field behavior and injury history, urging him to 'stay healthy and avoid incidents' as he approaches a major contract. Hartitz states 'a lot of us are drafting you as a top four fantasy pick. Chill out, man,' indicating the positive ranking reflects confidence in his on-field talent despite durability and behavioral concerns.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveValue35:15

Ian Hartitz selects Quentin Johnston in round 9 of a 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR mock draft, choosing him over available alternatives including Chris Godwin, Josh Downs, Stefon Diggs, and Jaden Reed. Hartitz notes there are many good wide receiver options available in that range, positioning Johnston as a viable mid-round target.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeProjection5:40

Ian Hartitz states he is out on Rasheed Rice but acknowledges the bull case for him. Rice has demonstrated WR1 production when healthy and eligible to play, though Hartitz's personal stance is cautious. The caveat about legal/eligibility issues suggests conditional upside that Hartitz is not banking on.

Insight page

Rashid Shaheed

PositiveProjection15:15

Ian Hartitz projects Rashid Shaheed to finish as a wide receiver one despite a new play caller in the Falcons offense; he acknowledges some regression is likely due to the historical dominance Shaheed showed under the previous system, but maintains confidence in his WR1 finish. Hartitz also identifies Shaheed as a good sleeper option in later rounds, suggesting undervalued upside potential despite the system change.

Insight page

Ray Davis

PositiveValue35:16

Ian Hartitz selected Ray Davis as a handcuff running back in the later rounds of a 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR mock draft, viewing him as a valuable handcuff option.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveValue33:54

Ian Hartitz selected Rico Dowdle in round 7 of a 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR mock draft, viewing him as the Steelers' RB1 and preferring him over available WRs like Chris Godwin and Quentin Johnston. Later in the draft, Hartitz reiterated that Dowdle 'could very well be our flex' and highlighted the Steelers running backs as 'the guys I'm willing to kind of break that wide receiver streak for the most given the fact that it should be 1A 1B. They're reasonably priced and they both have huge handcuff upside.'

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveValue25:31

Hartitz selected Stefon Diggs in round eight as a wide receiver still ranked lower than his potential upside. Hartitz believes Diggs could be the 1A option on his team, though more likely 1B, making him a value pick at that stage. In a 104-pick mock, Hartitz specifically targeted Diggs, noting 'I don't see anyone after him' in terms of WR quality, and pushed his QB selection back one spot to secure him. Diggs was part of a strong receiver tier that included Burden, Christian Watson, Chris Godwin, and Quentin Johnston.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveValue35:16

Ian Hartitz selected Tank Bigsby as a handcuff running back in the later rounds of a 104 Yahoo ADP half-point PPR mock draft. Hartitz noted 'This probably give me bad grades because I'm reaching on dudes, but you know what? YOLO. Let's go with Tank Bsby' and later reiterated 'Give me Tank Bsby' as part of his strategy to load up on handcuffs in later rounds.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

NegativeProjection19:52

Terence Ferguson is mentioned as a late-round lottery ticket tight end option in the 101 draft position strategy, recommended as a final-pick flier given tight end depth concerns from injuries like Jordan Tyson's.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeProjection6:19

Terry McLaurin is currently ranked around wide receiver 23-25, but could push toward wide receiver one borderline status as early as week one or two. Age is a consideration for potential fall-off, though upside remains; Ian Hartitz gives mindfulness to the idea that older receivers could see decline, but McLaurin has the potential to outperform his current ranking.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeValue8:30

Ian Hartitz had Travis Etienne on his fade list in rounds 3-4 but acquired him in early round 5 multiple times in drafts; he is now a primary target in rounds 4-5 for second RB if only one RB is taken in the first three rounds, alongside David Montgomery and DeAndre Swift. Hartitz is willing to pivot away from WR for Etienne in that range.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveSleeper27:57

Ian Hartitz targets Trey Harris as a late-round wide receiver pick, noting it's a recurring draft strategy he employs in mock drafts; the repeated targeting suggests Harris has consistent value in the final rounds.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeProjection22:05

McBride went earlier than expected in Ian Hartitz's mock draft simulation, coming off the board before the wide receiver run fully developed. Despite his early departure, the board still produced strong WR options and allowed Brock Bowers to fall to a later round.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeValue22:34

Went off the board in the middle of round four in this draft simulation.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeRole8:08

Ian Hartitz expresses concern that Woody Marks could cut into David Montgomery's anticipated touch volume in the Texans backfield, potentially making Montgomery's workload closer than the 300+ touches Hartitz projects for him.

0:00Today I'm breaking down my favorite draft position in 2026 fantasy football drafts and spoiler alert it is going to be from the earlier spots ideally even
0:10that 101 range. So going to be going through some mock drafts later in this episode and all in all just talking
0:15about again the reasons why I do prefer if possible and given the opportunity to be drafting sooner rather than later in
0:22fantasy drafts this season. Let's kick things off with again the thought process behind preferring the 101 pick among all others. And it comes down guys
0:30to these first handful of picks. Okay, I'm not going to pretend like 12, 15 rounds worth of fantasy picks during any
0:37given draft is something like that I can realistically predict. You know what I'm saying? But in the first five, six rounds, it is a little bit more
0:45reasonable. But we can at least find pockets of players based on ADP, based on doing a bunch of drafts throughout the summer that we can feel reasonably
0:52confident are going to be available to us. So with that in mind, guess what?
0:56You know, the one pick we can be fully confident in and have absolutely no worries about someone taking from us, it
1:01is 101, and it is Mr. Jir Gibbs, who I just think has the most crystal clear, straightforward, boom profile of any
1:08player in fantasy football. talking about a player in its prime and an offense that is now willing to feed him a workhorse role. That was usually just
1:16the problem over the years. It's also an offense we expect to be really freaking good. Other than the Bills, the Lions
1:22have probably been the most consistently high-scoring offense of the last half decade. And for me, that is the biggest separator between Gibbs and Bejian
1:28Robinson. Could Bean outscore Jir Gibbs?
1:32Sure. Yeah, it could [clears throat] happen. Okay. But at the same time, no more Dave Montgomery to worry about, you know, in Detroit. And I just think it's
1:39the cleanest possible situation. The Falcons offense could be horrible. Like that is a reasonable thing that could happen this year. They weren't great
1:46last year. Bejan was just fine. But again, if I don't have to risk it, why would I? Give me Jamir Gibbs 101. We're
1:54feeling good about Gibbs. Okay. Comes back around the round two turn. This is where we have to take a little bit of a
2:01leap of faith. All right. It's not guaranteed that we're necessarily going to be able to pick the exact player we want, but I do like the available
2:07pockets. If we're looking at again current Yahoo ADP, probably not going to get one of these remaining RB1s. I'm talking about the likes of Devon A,
2:16Chance Saquon Barkley, Omarian Hampton, Chase Brown, Kenneth Walker, and Derk Henry, but it's possible. But just assume we won't. Okay, similar sentiment
2:24with Brock Bowers. That sets us up pretty nicely, guys, to get a baller wide receiver or more likely even two of
2:31them. So, if I am sitting there at the end of round two, I'm gonna have backto-back picks. Obviously, no third round reversal here. I hate third round
2:38reversal unless it happens to work out for my fantasy team in that specific draft. But when I'm looking at that round two, three turn, I see AJ Brown
2:47going a few picks off, which is crazy to me. He's my wide receiver five overall.
2:51Drake London is someone who again sometimes falls around that range. Nico Collins regularly in that range. And the true guys that are even safer and almost
2:58guaranteed at a certain point because, you know, we're getting three of the top 25 picks overall. If we like the top 12
3:04running backs and we like the top 12 wide receivers and we like Brock Bowers, there's your 25 dudes right there. Throw
3:10Josh Allen in there if you want. But Chris Ave with Jordan Tyson, unfortunately expecting to miss, you know, at least probably six weeks of the
3:18regular season. My guess would be he's back around week eight. Chris Ave set up incredibly to do his best impression of
3:27the second half what we saw from him last year. Malik Neighbors, someone who is on track to be out there in week one.
3:33And if he looks good, guys, Malik Neighbors will probably be a round one, two turn pick, but instead we can get him at the round two, three turn.
3:40Even someone like Rasheed Rice, who I'm out on, but you can certainly see the bare case. And if you're in on Rasheed
3:47Rice, then okay, he's been a wide receiver one when he's healthy and legally allowed to be on the field. I get it. Even George Pickkins, like
3:54Devonte Smith, Niga, there's so many great receivers I think that we can still get here that we don't have huge concerns about. Specifically for me, I
4:03would like to get two of actually London, AJB, Nico Collins, Chris Ave, and Malik Neighbors. But if not, there's better options. And hey, maybe you're a
4:11Josh Allen guy. He's going to be available there for you at the turn.
4:14Maybe you do want to go ahead and get more of a Bree Hall, Jeremiah Love. I don't think given those injuries, that's
4:19a smart idea. At the two-3 turn, you can probably they're probably not going to come back to you at the round four, five
4:25turn, but again, don't chase injuries in fantasy football. They will find you soon enough. I think Javvante Williams and if he gets out of legal problems,
4:32Josh Jacobs could be in play here as well. The world is really your oyster and it's your oyster with a really good
4:39player at any position. So, we can get Josh Allen, we can get Brock Bars, we can get a consensus top 12 wide
4:44receiver. I don't know that we can get a consensus top 12 running back. I assume they're all going to be gone, but you
4:50know, Javvonte Williams and Josh Jacobs, they're guys that I am willing to take at that round three spot as well if
4:55you're trying to start your draft with two running backs in the first three rounds. So again, can do so many different things from here, but no
5:02matter what, we're having Jir Gibbs and we're getting two more studs at the picks two and three. Going to have to
5:07wait a bit. That is the thing when we're picking out the turn going to be a minute before you're drafting again. But
5:11guys, this whole strategy and a lot of the strategies I've been pushing to you here. I appreciate you listening to them
5:17throughout the summer. It comes down to want to have as many bullets as possible to attack this mid tier, mid round I
5:25should say, wide receiver range. I don't want to have to worry about the Trayvon Hendersons and the Bashaw Tutons of the
5:31world. I look at Cam Scataboom and Quinnon Judkins and call me oldfashioned, but I prefer my fantasy running backs when I'm using a round top
5:38five pick on them and rounds wise, I prefer their legs. So, I've been in one piece over the course of the past 12
5:43months. Bucky Irvings going round four on Yahoo. Still, I'm sure a couple of the guys I name will go on to have
5:50perfectly fine seasons, but I can paint a way more promising picture in my mind and with the numbers right now with the
5:56wide receivers going this range. As we come back around the four five turn, I see Lad McConi going just off again
6:03where we should be expecting to pick. I see Jaylen Waddle, your favorite fantasy analyst, favorite, you know, breakout wide receiver going just earlier than
6:11that four or five term. Luther Burden, we're getting a little bit of a discount. He is fully expecting to be ready for week one. Fantastic. Devonte
6:19Adams, Terry McLaren, Mike Evans, the UNS, who right now we do give a little bit of mindfulness to the idea that
6:27they're older and we could see a fall off. But as much as we want to rank them wide receiver 23, 24, 25 right now, they
6:35could be pushing that wide receiver one borderline guys as early as week one or week two. So, round four or five.
6:42Generally, in an ideal world, I probably start off with Jamir Gibbs.
6:49Let's say I get Here's where it comes down to for me. Let me say this. I think it's unlikely that I get one of Derrick
6:55Henry, Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown, Hampton back at the two-3 turn. It's unlikely to happen. Assuming that doesn't happen at the two-3 turn, I would probably
7:06double tap wide receiver. I would pray the fantasy football gods I can get AJ Brown. Let's say that doesn't happen. I
7:12get Chris Alav and Malik Neighbors.
7:15Great.
7:18If I only have one running back through the first three rounds, the four five turn is where I'd be looking to get my
7:23RB2 because there are a few okay options. I know I listed some guys that scare me and generally I don't want to
7:29be going super hard in a paint RB in these mid rounds, but DeAndre Swift has never finished worse than RB2. We love
7:35the offense. He's got explosive pass catching ability and his primary competition for touches. Kung guy hyperextend his knee could be at less
7:42than 100% once he's back on the field.
7:44Dave Montgomery, I've gone back and forth on the guy. Is he a dead zone running back? Is he not a dead zone
7:49running back? For those unaware, that sort of archetype is someone who we don't necessarily love the talent profile. Deman's had a good career, but
7:56getting a little bit older. I don't think anyone's confusing him for, you know, a superstar. That's all I'm saying. We don't love the scoring upside
8:02of the offense. Reasonable. Okay. I can see the Texans being better this year, but if we had to rank our expectations
8:08one through 32, they'd probably be a little bit closer to 32 them one middle of the pack.
8:13But you look at the volume and it should be good for Monty. I wonder if Woody Marks could make it a little closer
8:19anticipated, but I see the alert. I see the possibility for Montgomery having 300 plus touches. It's just what are those really going to be worth in an
8:27offense with another retold offensive line that's probably going to be bad again? But the difference for me, I do at least like the fact that the Texans
8:36should be a really good football team.
8:37Badass defense. We've seen them make the playoffs every single year under Deco Ryan and, you know, CJ Strad doing their thing. Will Anderson as well certainly
8:45deserves to be, you know, mentioned as a cornerstone of that organization. Even Travis ETM, guys, Travisen, he was someone on my fade list when it
8:55was round three, four turn. I got him in early round five a couple times. So, if I only have one running back in the
9:01first three rounds at the round four, five term, I would be targeting Travis Etchen, David Montgomery, DeAndre Swift, those are the three dudes who I'd be
9:10willing to get away from the wide receivers for. Get my second running back and then just get another sweet wide receiver. So, again, Lab Mcconi,
9:17Luther Burton, or one of these, those are the guys that are going to be more so in play for me. And that's our round.
9:23That's our first five rounds. That's what we can pretty confidently be predicting, man. And look, I'm tell I'm giving you guys my picks. I don't want
9:31to do the thing where I say, "Oh, hey, I'm I'm in so many fantasy drafts. I'm going to have exposure to all these
9:36guys. So, good luck, I guess, with everyone. I just really find that annoying." So, I'm going to give you some picks that are going to be wrong.
9:43But, you know what? I'm sure you guys are going to be right on certain things that I'm fading in wrong about.
9:47Primarily, probably DJ Moore. Okay? The more I look at it, the more I look at the draft position, I know I've listed
9:54him as a fade multiple times.
9:56ankle seems to be fine.
9:59Feel free to still slander me if and when DJ Moore has a huge year. You can go back and look at my fades video and
10:06say, "Ian, you were dumb. Why were you fading DJ Moore?" I'm officially removing DJ Moore as a recommended fade.
10:13I still don't know if I'm going to draft him all the time. But just the more and more I look at it, guys, round five, six
10:18turn, I'm hyping up Jaylen Waddle, and I do believe in Jaylen Waddle truly. But like you can make a very similar
10:24argument for DJ Moore and the price just isn't that bad. I don't feel as good about Bashaw Tutin, about Jadarian Price
10:33given Charbanet coming back. I don't want Bucky Irving and that's pushing up these wide receivers for me. So again, you guys have made really good points in
10:43the comments. I read them. I listen to you. I listen to others. No, I'm not changing my thoughts on DJ Moore because
10:50he took a freaking crosser out on cover for 30 yards in the preseason. I would say I'm lacking confidence in the
10:57running backs there. I've tried to look in the mirror about it. I think it was a mediocre take on my part. And I've said
11:05it's a fade that scares me. All right.
11:08So, at some point maybe I shouldn't be fading the guy if it scares me so much.
11:12I would like to think that I am afraid of it for a good reason. And that good reason is I probably shouldn't be full
11:17fading him. So I'll even put DJ Moore in that ideally a little bit later. I'd love him in round six, but you know
11:24what? You want to take him around Mike Evans. Another comp that's really not that different when you think about it.
11:32He deserves to be in that tier. So, apologies for again switching up the mind on it, but I don't want to just
11:40have take lock with it either when I realize that I probably said something that wasn't, you know, the best idea.
11:45And I don't want you guys going out there in drafts and missing out on opportunity because I'm too stubborn to, you know, admit I was wrong or not go
11:50back on it. So, anyway, 101 preferred draft position. Jir Gibbs getting there.
11:58101. Probably going two wide receivers here. Chris Ave neighbors. Ideally though, AJ Brown, Drake Lender, nickel Collins fall. If you want to go Josh
12:08Allen early, go ahead. I love the late round quarterback pool, but it's reasonable to get Josh Allen here. And I do think
12:18there is that spot where I'd probably Oh man, Josh Allen should be going the beginning of round three. So, I think
12:25that is a good spot. I would not chase him up into round two. I don't want him before those top 12 wide receivers,
12:31before the top 12 running backs, and before Brock Bowers, but I I think I do have him ranked like literally 26th
12:38overall. So, if you want to take Josh Allen there, I totally get it. And this would be the area to do it. And then
12:44just the wide receivers, man. Mix in another running back.
12:49ideal world, more times than not, I'm leaving these first five rounds with Jamir Gibbs, probably more likely one of DeAndre Swift or David Montgomery and
12:59then let's say AJ Brown, Malik Neighbors, Lab Makoni or Luther Burton or Mike Evans or even DJ Moore. That's a
13:11nice freaking start to my fantasy team, guys. We're going to have to be going late round waters with tight end and
13:16quarterback. We're going to show off some of those options here in a few minutes with the mock drafts. But I really do like that. And that same
13:23mindset applies to these first four and five slots, okay? Because I know not everyone's going to have a chance to get
13:29101 obviously, but if you can't get 101, I do think I'm willing to go all the way 2, three, four, five, and just kind of
13:38go down that list.
13:41Keep an eye on the Christian McCaffrey tightness. I don't have big reason to be alarmed, but I think that's the tier in
13:48round one where I have zero questions.
13:52You know what I'm saying?
13:54Relatively zero questions. I know the Falcons offense could suck. We talked about that. But Jamar Chase is Jamar Chase. Puka, please, for the love of
14:02God, just hang out on a weekend for a change. I know I'm lame. I go out to dinner with my wife and then I go
14:10home and I watch UFC on Saturday nights and maybe do fantasy football stuff. You know, that's a me problem. I get it. I'm
14:17not saying you can't go have fun, but Puka, please. You're about to get a contract with a lot of zeros on it and a
14:24lot of us are drafting you as a top four fantasy pick. Chill out, man. And then CMC though and this bigger idea. I don't think he need
14:32to double tap running back round one, two like some people are always saying.
14:37I do think it makes more sense around the turn given kind of the drop off at wide receiver, but man, I got CMC number
14:45three pending this tightness thing getting figured out because I do love having that hero running back to start.
14:51Man, it just makes your ability to avoid I think some of the landmines at running back while embracing this awesome range
14:59of wide receivers that much more bearable. So, ideal draft slot 101. Then I would go literally down the line 2, three, four, five because I do think
15:09JSN, not that he's not amazing, but it is a new play caller.
15:14Probably going to regress to some extent because it's just so historical seeing the way he dominated that offense. Did pay Rashid Shahed. I'm sure he'll still
15:23finish as a wide receiver one, but I just sixth pick is if I had the choice, I'd rather go before it. Amanra St.
15:30Brown incredible wide receiver for three straight seasons I think maybe even four straight seasons.
15:38Are we positive he can get that overall wide receiver one season like a Chase like a puka new offense? J Laaporta
15:44Gibbs is a little bit crowded and then we get to the running backs that again are just kind of in the down tier. So I
15:50would prefer to pick one of these five spots. If you want to be closer to the middle that does give you a better
15:55chance of getting Brock Bowers. I've talked about my super Bowers draft strategy. I would say the 105 is probably your best case to kind of
16:03get that best of both worlds. You know what I'm saying? You get one of these top five dudes, then you get Brock
16:07Bowers, and then you can either go with the Javvante Williams in round three or start spamming wide receivers.
16:13But yeah, it really does set up nicely, guys. when you're closer to four or five, the only give or take is I do
16:21think there's a little bit of a drop off after the top 26 27 players as you all can see on this draft board. But
16:31the caveat, the other side of that argument is in round two, you have a much better chance of getting an AJ
16:37Brown, of getting a Brock Bowers, of even getting one of those sliding running backs. So, one through five early to mid early draft position. My favorite
16:48thing to do allows you to get two really good running backs inside the first five rounds that we can feel good about.
16:54Potentially get an elite onesie. I would like to keep it at one. I actually had a Yahoo mock draft today with, you know,
17:00other alleged fancy draft experts. I got cute.
17:05I think I was drafting out of the 106. I went CMC, Derrick Henry, Josh Allen, and Coulson Lovelin. Three starting wide
17:12receivers, though. Probably should have gone a Mecca Ibuka over Coulson Lovelin.
17:17He's got the toe thing going on. That was the only reason I didn't love it.
17:20But guess what? After that, I took wide receivers. I think it was six of my last seven picks. Still ended up okay enough.
17:28Generally though, I think that was playing it a little bit risky. I like to see stuff. I like to try things and mock
17:33drafts, you know. Shout out to uh the NBC fan for including me with it. But just something to keep in mind there.
17:40One through five, you're going to get a baller in round one. The closer you are to five, the better chance you have of
17:46getting one of the sliding running backs or a sick wide receiver, but they're still going to be there for you at the
17:51two three turn as well, which is why I do prefer 101. Rounds four and five. You have that patch of running backs,
17:57specifically Montgomery and DeAndre Swift, who I would be willing to again risk it for. Otherwise, we're just taking great wide receivers. And then we
18:05get going down, guys. Round six, Christian Watson, Parker Washington.
18:11Maybe year three, Marvin Harrison Jr.
18:13has something for us. I don't love investing in that Cardinals offense, but if I'm going to, I want to do it in
18:18round six or round seven instead of round three or round four.
18:23DK Metaf actually priced as the boomer wide receiver three. He's been throughout his career. Chris Goblin, Ibuka is a little bit banged up right
18:31now. Was the disparity between their ADP too big to begin with? Quinton Johnson, Josh DS maybe sliding after they signed Keenan Allen, Jaden Reed. Like, there
18:41are so many wide receiver targets I want in this range. I'm not saying you can't mix in a running back at some point, but
18:48we're going to have two to three wide receivers through the first five rounds.
18:52We have all those dudes I just named. We can easily pick off another two or three. We already have our top two
19:00running back spots figured out. We'll mix in a Bill Crosky merit. Then we'll get handcuffs and then we'll have the late rounds to attack a soft spot at QB.
19:09You can be that guy where everyone goes, "Oh my god, Bo Nicks in round 12. How'd that happen?" Good job, Phil. That's you
19:18in this equation. If your name's actually Phil, that's kind of hilarious.
19:20You know, late round tight end is the one spot that bothers me a little bit.
19:28Shocker, guys. The closer we get to the season, the more we realize tight end isn't as deep as we thought it was. Who
19:33could have ever seen this coming? This doesn't happen every single year or anything like that, but Isaiah likely around 10, you can just
19:42get a boring, Dallas, maybe a Jake Ferguson, Jawan Johnson. Now, he's a great pick. Jordan Tyson being sidelined. Get some of those guys and
19:53then tack on Terence Ferguson with your last pick as a lottery ticket. So, the sacrifice is there, but you know what? Maybe you
20:01go Brock Bowers in round two for more four or five spot. So, all in all, guys, 101, my favorite draft position, 102 to
20:08105 will be where I'd be going afterwards. But hey, let's show you guys with actually our Rotoire mockdraft tool. But also want to remind you guys
20:15if you are interested in all the tools Rotoire has to offer. Code Ian 35 for 35% off, baby. And the mockdraft tool.
20:21It's actually going to be a good demonstration for you guys if you're interested to see what it would be like to have our live draft assistant where
20:28you're literally able to draft in Yahoo, ESPN, and Sleeper Leagues from the friendly confines of our draft tool.
20:34Really annoying sometimes have to upload rankings over there, but no worries. We got you covered. You can adjust your own rankings. You can make your own strategy
20:40and again have that at your fingertips, have it plugged in to your other leagues and then be able to draft literally
20:46with, you know, us there by your side more or less or at least the closest that we can come to doing it. So, we
20:52also just have our ranks. We have cheat sheets, tiers, all my article content.
20:55I'm continuing to turn out day in and day out. 10K plus words, fellas, on the preseason week one takeaways. And I'm
21:02not someone who even likes to brag about a word count. If you can say something in a hundred words instead of a
21:06thousand, like that's better for everyone involved. But man, I spent all freaking weekend on this. All right?
21:12Like, I'm out here grinding my ass off all freaking month for you guys. So again, if you want to support the show,
21:17if you want to just try to help your fantasy football teams, if you want to help your significant others respecting you more because you won your fantasy
21:24football league this year, consider Rotoire subscription and code Ian35 will get you 35% off. All right, guys. And with that, let's get into our free
21:32Rotoire mockdraft tool. Looking again at the 101 spot here. So, as we said, we're go with Jir Gibbs 101. By the way, ADPs
21:41are updating. I'm recording this the day after Jordan Tyson got injured. We also had K Nungai and the Chuba Hub or
21:47Jonathan Brooks thing is still taking a little bit of time in the Yahoo ADP which we're using right now to fully
21:52reflect. So please don't yell at me or Rotoire just you know kind of a reality of trying to do these mock droughts with
21:58ADP in the middle of August with news flying. So, hey, in this case, again, looking at our board that is going off
22:04with these computers, we actually had Trey McBride go a little bit earlier.
22:08Missed the boat on the running backs, but still has some pretty damn good wide receivers and Brock Bowers right waiting for us. So, again, I don't always expect
22:16to get Brock Bowers here or anything like that, but I will certainly take it when it happens. Let's go with Mr. Brock
22:22Bowers. And then looking at wide receiver. Oh, did I miss it? I think AJB. Yeah, he did go in middle of the
22:28round. So, don't quite get as amazing of a push, but that's a reason why someone like Bowers was available as all. I'm
22:34going to go ahead and go with Mr.
22:37Alve versus Neighbors is close to me. A is healthier. Let's go with Chris Ave. I do have right next to each other in my
22:44updated ranks. Getting back around the four five turn as you guys can see on our lovely screen right now. Or if
22:49you're listening, I'll describe it for you. Already getting a few quarterbacks to go off the board. Coloulston Love, Tyler Warren going to middle of round
22:55four. didn't get our guy Lab Makoni to fall to us. We also did have a little bit of a running back push. Cam
23:01Scatteroo, Travis Etchen, Bree Hall, Jeremiah Love, all firmly off the board.
23:06Middle of round four, Devonte Williams.
23:07Man, if he could somehow fall back that four or five turn, that'd be pretty sweet. Albeit also unlikely. So, Montgomery and Swift, I'll go ahead in
23:16this case and just go ahead and take David Montgomery. So, very close between the two. But now we have done what we
23:22talked about. We got Gibbs, we got Montgomery, we got my two running backs to start. Got a wide receiver one and
23:28Chris Ave in an elite tight end in Mr.
23:30Brock Bowers. Actually kind of working into the super Bowers draft strategy that I've been trying to follow when possible this off seasonason. So, we got
23:38my two RBs. We're good there. Not that we can't get a third good one if the opportunity arises, but I do need to
23:43play a little bit of catch-up at wide receiver now, but good news, we have plenty of them we want. This is
23:48particularly true, guys, for three starting wide receiver lineups. If you only have two wide receivers you need to start and have PPR scoring, we are
23:56expecting running backs to ultimately be scoring more than wide receivers in their kind of best case outcomes. So actually doubletapping Monty and DeAndre
24:05Swift here would be something that again if you only have to start two wide receivers, I would be very much fine
24:10with. But we have to start three in this one. So I'm going to go ahead and go with Mr. Jaylen Waddle. Round five.
24:18Clicking through.
24:20Back to me. any good running backs available? Jaylen Warren, Rico, not bad, but I'm just liking the wide receivers a little bit more. I'm go ahead and get
24:27Christian Watson and Parker Washington here. And we have now again already got four wide receivers and just four guys I really like. I'm sure we'll be wrong on
24:36some of them, but man, Chris Ave, Jaylen Waddle, Christian Watson, Parker Washington.
24:43Those are four guys that truly in my heart of hearts, I think if things break right for them, we're talking about top
24:4812 seasons. We managed to get them with Jamir Gibbs, with Brock Bowers, and with a solid enough RB2 and David Montgomery.
24:57So, back on the board. Want to play the waiting game at quarterback.
25:02What round is it here? Two, four, six, seven. We're in round eight. You guys know my rule. I don't like taking a
25:07quarterback before round 10. If we need to double tap a Kyler Murray and Jared Goff, we will do so. I'm going to look
25:13again at the running backs. Rashad White, Jordan Mason, Kenny Gamewell, Aaron Jones, top guys involved. So is Jonathan Brooks. I'll take him for this.
25:23Is it very very unlikely that he is going to be there for you? Yes, I get it. Bill Crosky, Merritt would be
25:29probably the other guy I'm looking at.
25:31But also the wide receivers, Jaden Reed, Josh DS, still some dogs here. Stefon Diggs as well. I'm going to go ahead. I
25:39already got Christian Watson. I don't love doubletapping two wide receivers from the same team in reddraft. Packers condensed enough to be one where maybe
25:46you make an exception, but I'm gonna go with the guy that's still a little bit down in the ranks, but maybe, just
25:52maybe, could be the 1A on his team.
25:54Probably the 1B, but you can imagine.
25:55Give me Stefon Diggs. And then I'll come up here and we'll take Jonathan Brooks, but you know, Bill Crosky Merritt in a
26:02normal draft, probably that guy. It does sound like, by the way, the more and more Tules we get from training camp,
26:06Bill Crosky Merritt over Rashad White.
26:08full PPR. Maybe a little bit more of a head nod to Rashad White, but looking more and more like it could be the Bill
26:14Show.
26:16Had a couple quarterbacks go, guys, but guess which one didn't? Brock Perie, round 10. Bo Nick still available, too.
26:23I freaking love it.
26:26Running backs, find enough dudes, wide receivers pretty much hit the teardrop of wide receiver. Okay, I love Jaylen Coker as next is, you know, the the
26:36biggest cokehead out here, but Jaden, Jaden Higgins, Rashid Shahed, good sleeper. I talked about Rashid Shahid, but it is tough to completely rely on
26:46the dude Casey Conception got sniped by one pick. Damn computers out here. So, that's why I want to have five wide
26:54receivers in the first nine rounds, guys. I don't want to have to rely on anyone past this point. It's okay to
26:59have sleepers, and I do, and maybe they'll hit. I just don't want to have to rely on them. So, I'm gonna get my
27:05quarterback, Brock Perie. Come on down.
27:09Then looking at the running back streets, Chris Rodriguez. Maybe the RB1 in Jacksonville. I don't know. Let's go ahead and take him. Why not?
27:19Going through. Going through. I took off defense and kickers because I don't have time for that shizz. You guys know what
27:24I'm freaking saying, right? All right.
27:26Back to us. We can go and just finish up here.
27:29I'll take another quarterback, Kyler Murray, just to get some upside. Looking at the wide receivers. Don't really see anyone I want. I'll try to get Trey
27:37Harris maybe in the last round. It's a fun bid I keep doing on these mock drafts.
27:43Go with Katon Mitchell. There we go.
27:46Questionable. Super high-end handcuff upside, but man, if you want to pick an offense, play caller, environment, all that nine yard jazz, for someone to make
27:55the most out of their touches will be him. Every team's a good team to have Marshon Lloyd. Let's close things out
28:00with him. A draft grade. You guys know how I feel about draft grades. If it's a good one, then that means I ace my
28:06draft. If it's a bad one, well, clearly there's something wrong with the technology going on here. But in this case, I am projected to finish first. I
28:12have a 95% chance of making the playoffs. And he goes ahead and gives the grades out here for each pick. So
28:18again, one of these things where started off with Jamir Gibbs, came back, got Brock Bowers in round two. Tough, but not impossible depending on the league
28:27you're playing in. I get it. Got my wide receiver one in Chris Ave. Got my second running back in David Montgomery. Then
28:33we went super hard with these wide receivers. Pause. Jaylen Waddle, Christian Watson, Parker Washington, Steph Diggs, and then we're good, man.
28:42Could have gotten my guy Trey Harris, but I am way more fine leaving this bench stocked with running backs.
28:47Jonathan Brooks maybe a little bit unlikely to get him there. I get it. But in reality, Bill Crosky Mered, I still
28:53feeling pretty good with him as my RB3.
28:56Katon Mitchell, Chris Rodriguez, also some quality handcuffs. Marshon Lloyd down there for good measure. Quarterback room again, when you are taking an early
29:03round tight end, I am going to be playing the late round quarterback game.
29:05But Brock Perie, round 10, round 11 if I waited a second to click him. And Kylo Murray, I'll go to war with that quarterback room.
29:14Feeling good. Definitely don't need a tight end too when we are dealing with again Brock Bowers there. That would be just a one other note, guys. We got
29:21Brock Bars. You know, we're not practicing BNF. We don't need a tight end to in this situation. So, that again was out of the 101. Now, I do want to
29:30take a second to go ahead and show you guys what it might look like if we do it out of the 104. So, this is going to be
29:37again a slightly different situation, but we are going to be hopefully able to land someone that, you know, is a little
29:44bit better in round two. We got Brock Bowers slide to us last time, but this makes us a little bit more live to be
29:48able to double tap running back or potentially just get, you know, an AJ Brown caliber wide receiver. So, going to be getting through the 104 now. That
29:56said, did want to give a shout out to our friends over at Splash Survivor First, guys, who we have a pair of
30:00Rotoire sponsor contest that you really should be looking to try to get into.
30:05First, the Rotoire 100K NFL Survivors, a traditional Survivor League with a $15 entry fee. And also the Rotoire 50K Touchdown Survivor, a playerbased
30:14Survivor League. I freaking love the concept. Essentially just an anytime touchdown Survivor League. This one does cost $25, but again, 50K and 100K is
30:24going to be on the table for the winners of these. So, if that money is not enough to make you guys want to sprint
30:29on over to splashports.com/rotoire while maybe beating myself and Theo Grimager is, we will be in those streets competing with you week after week
30:38trying to get that grand amount of Stone Code hard cash ourselves. Again, splashports.com/rotoire.
30:46And guess what? If you use promo code rotoire, you'll get a 50% deposit match and 100% payout boost. Look guys, I'm
30:52not someone who enters 90 or 100 Survivor Leagues per year, but I do think it's a very fun compliment to again just your weekly gambling and
30:59fantasy routine. So check it out again over at splashports.com/rotoire.
31:03Make sure you use promo code rotoire to get that 50% deposit match and 100% payout boost. splashports.comrotoire.
31:11All right, we are on the clock now. 104 Yahoo ADP half point PPR scoring. I think I did half. Let's assume I did
31:20half. We'll say Yahi Lady P. shout out guys. They do some good stuff over there. Maybe it's all those new awesome
31:26fantasy analysts they've been hiring.
31:28Shout out to Hayden Josh and company. Uh everything they've been doing over there. Awesome awesome crew. But man, ESPN really, if you're playing over
31:35there, now do some content on it. But you see some wonkiness in those streets.
31:39And even my friends at Sleeper, you know, step up. I think Yahoo might be coming for that crown. At least in terms
31:45of what I believe to be the best ADP out there. But in this case, again, using Yahoo. I've talked before about Puka
31:51versus CMC. I'm going to go ahead and go CMC in this case because I do just feel a little bit better about getting that
31:57RB to start. In this case, we have Brock Bowers go much closer to the turn at the one two looking at the available running
32:05backs. Kenneth Walker the last one remaining. Nico Collins, AJB, George Pick and Safe Flowers. So, in this case, when those running backs slide, guys, I
32:14am fine taking the last man standing. I do think Kenneth Walker reserving to go at the one-two turn. So to get him at
32:20this point, man, sounds good to me. Come on down, Mr. K9. As we get into round three now, AJ Brown, Nico Collins, or
32:28she rice one off the board. I am looking though at the onesie spots. I don't see anyone I want. Brock Bowers, Trey
32:34McBride, we'll see about maybe Loveliner Warren round four and five, but not right now. And then also Josh Allen already off the board in the middle of
32:41round two. He's not going to be an option either. So what do we do? We attack this awesome range of wide
32:46receivers. We'll go ahead and go with let's go Malik Neighbors this time. We took Chris Ave last time. Again, back and forth between the two right now.
32:54Higher best case ceiling probably Neighbors. Tyson should be back at some point. You know, to my knowledge, he is still very much alive. And yeah, so get
33:04better soon, Jordan Tyson. But yeah, very close between those two. I'll go with Jaylen Waddle at this point. Check the running backs real quick. We already
33:12got two. Check the tight ends. Ooh, Colston Lovelin. Round four in this economy.
33:20Yeah, never mind. I if I don't get batters, guys, I love me some round four Coulson love. I feel way better about
33:25the late round QB game than the tight end game. Much more willing to buy up at that position. So, now we're good at
33:30tight end. We got my two sick running backs already. So, guess what we're going to do? Play the wide receiver roulette game. So, Adams, Burden, DJ
33:38Moore, JO, Mike Evans, top guys available. I'll go ahead and go with Luther Burton.
33:46Because why get guaranteed production out of Mike Evans when he can take a risk on Luther Burden? Just kidding.
33:51Burdton's the man. I'm not worried at all about it. A little worried, but not that worried. Keep going. Wide receiver, Christian Watson vers Parker Washington.
34:00I'll go Christian Watson. Watson or Washington did not fall to me. That's a shame. But hey, here we are through six
34:08rounds now. We got CMC and Kenneth Walker holding down the back field. We got Malik Neighbors, Luther Burton, and Christian Watson as a starting wide
34:16receivers. And we got Coulson Lovelin as an elite tight end. So, I got my three wide receivers. Again, I want five and
34:24nine, but we can take a running back within these next few picks. If there's one we like, Arandre Stevenson, Tony Pard, Rico Dow, JK Dobbins, Blake Corum.
34:34I'd lean Dowel out of this group. I just think he is pretty much the Steelers wide receiver, RB1, excuse me. And these
34:42wide receivers, while good, I don't see someone screaming at me amongst Chris Goblin, Pierce, Quinton Johnson, Josh DS, Diggs.
34:54If I have to get Jaden Reed and Stefon Diggs these next two rounds, which I think could be in play, I am very much
35:00fine with that. So, let's get Rico Dattle.
35:03More and more picks going off. Had a little bit of a quarterback run. We are ignoring them because we are scholars
35:08and understand we can get that position later.
35:11Back to wide receiver, Chris Godwin.
35:14Fantastic.
35:16Josh Downs, Stefon Diggs, Jaden Reed, all available. Quinton Johnson as well.
35:21We'll go with QJ here. Why not?
35:24Through nine rounds.
35:27McCaffrey, Walker, Rico Dowel, running back room, Neighbors, Burden, Watson, Goblin, Quinton Johnson, wide receiver room, and Coulson Lovelin. Now, I'm giving us all permission to look at
35:39quarterback. Once again, Brock Pury is available, as is Bo Knicks, Kyler and Jared Goff. Looking at running back, mostly in the handcuff territory at this
35:47point, so we're going to start loading up on them here shortly. Wide receiver room, though. Stefon Diggs hanging out, man. And I don't see anyone after him.
35:55So, I'm actually going push quarterback one more spot. We'll get Diggs.
36:00And nothing even bad happened. These idiot computers are taking kickers. just one Brandon Aubrey, but you know, come
36:09on down. Brock Pury could have gotten Bon Knicks if he wanted to stack, but you know what? I got Pury in CMC. I know we don't usually
36:17do QB running back stacks, but if you're going to do one, I should probably be with those guys. Now that I'm in the
36:22later rounds, I'm very much good on wide receiver. So, we are just going to be hammering some of these handcuff running
36:29backs.
36:31This probably give me bad grades because I'm reaching on dudes, but you know what? YOLO. Let's go with Tank Bsby.
36:37I'll get Kyler Murray again just to even things out a little bit because I do if I get the Purdium and
36:44Bon Knicks. I admit they're not in the top 10 for a reason. I think having two shots at quarterback is fine,
36:49particularly when you do have a higher upside one like a Kylo Murray. We'll go Malik Mike Washington, excuse me. Oh, Marshon Lloyd Blunt. These computers,
37:00man, getting sharper. We'll go Ray Davis out there. crazy gray handcuff as well.
37:05And close things out with Jaden Blue. Even though I'm not super confident, we'll go Brillin Allen. Why not? I still think Isaiah Davis could
37:14come back, but yeah, a Ddraft grade. Oh, no. See, these draft grades don't mean anything. You guys know what I'm talking
37:21about. But oh, it's cuz I had kickers and DSTs in here. Okay. Well, you know what? Friendly reminder, you don't need
37:27to draft a kicker or DST. Draft grades aren't going to understand the logic behind it. But as I'm drafting this on
37:32August 18th, you guys see it every freaking day. Another injury happens.
37:38Get handcuffs. Give me a Mike Washington.
37:42Give me Tank Bsby. Give me the last couple guys I was taking. Jaden Blue, Brilon Allen. We saw the Bree Hall. Do
37:48you know how much higher Jaden Blue would go if we heard that?
37:52Unfortunately, knocking on wood, Javvante Williams just had to leave. Had to leave practice. You guys get it. So anyway, drafting out the
38:03104 spot, we double tapped running back CMC and Kenneth Walker. After that, we got Malik Neighbors in round three.
38:10Chris Ave was there as well. Came back around. Coulson Loveland fell the motor part of round four. We were were willing
38:16to go with tight end at that point. If not, would have been a sweet wide receiver, but Bowowers and Lovelin, those are two early round tight ends I'm
38:22willing to break that mold for. And at that point, we got our RB1 spot filled.
38:27We got our RB2 spot filled. We had neighbors. got Lovelin. We're going wide receiver, wide receiver, wide receiver.
38:34Burden, Christian Watson, Chris Goblin, Quinton Johnston, Stefon Diggs. And again, guys, if you don't like those receivers specifically,
38:46understand that there were other top 36, top 24, depending on what round the draft we're in. Obviously, a lot of really good options in that range.
38:54Meanwhile, running backs, I think, have a lot more question marks. So, came back, got Rico Dattle. he could very well be our flex. I do think the
39:00Steelers running backs are the guys I'm willing to kind of break that wide receiver streak for the most given the fact that it should be 1A 1B. They're
39:07reasonably priced and they both have huge handcuff upside and then otherwise again we don't practice being effed. We got CMC Walker draft like you're right.
39:17We think we're going to be good there.
39:18Tank Bsby, Mike Washington, two other handcuffs that aren't viewable right now because I didn't draft a kicker or defense which is again why this grade is
39:27bad. I'm not mad. I'm not coping. Let the record show. I'm not coping. But I'm also done with this video at this point,
39:33guys. All right. Early draft position.
39:35Absolutely loving it. 101 if you can. If not, 102 to 105. Really do like the way how things play out, particularly in the
39:41first five rounds when we're best able to guarantee things. But guys, again, that's going to do it for me. If you
39:45like the video, please like the video and hitting that subscribe button helps as well. Football baby, we are so back.
39:51Preseason action. Going to be having again more takeaways next week and then just trying to help get you guys ready for the draft. getting a bunch of drafts
39:57in myself, too. I have uh it was just been a little tough. I did one with Theo earlier this month, but um just trying
40:02to get some of the daytime ones to fill earlier in August. People, I guess, have real lives or whatever to worry about.
40:08So, you know, who could have seen that coming? But I do have uh at least five more FFP FFPC drafts. I'm going to
40:14stream a guillotine draft as well. And we'll also be getting into baseball streets a little bit. We're fully in reddraft mode, but you know, we can
40:20still have fun. Maybe have a Kona Big Wave or six, drag us some best ball drafts in, win some money that way as
40:26well. So again, really trying to just go ahead show you guys the strategy from different pick positions, different things I'm thinking going through the
40:32positions, keeping off the preseason.
40:34But pretty soon, guys, this is going to be time to draft, draft, draft, and allow you guys to see again myself and
40:39some of the other top minds in the industry. We're going to have again maybe Theo back, Dwayne McFarland, Rich Reeberg, John Dagel, bunch of those guys
40:46are going to be on the stream with me drafting along. You can hear us barking about picks back and forth. Very excited
40:50to get those as a complement to all this other content we've had going on. So, last call out Ian35 for 35% off a
40:57rotoire subscription. But, you know, it's also a free country. Do what you will. As always, I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your week. Call your loved
41:04ones, call your mom, say what's up, be a good freaking citizen, all that jazz.
41:09Anyway, I'm Ian Hardest. Until next time, take care everybody.
