0:00Another day, another chance to win two million American Doll hairs over underdog fantasy. And today we have your favorite YouTube best baseball streamers
0:07favorite YouTube best baseball streamer, Davis Madak, hanging out. What's up, brother?
0:12>> Uh, hey, man. Thanks very much for having me. Uh, excited to be here on the the Rotoire channel. I've had a a long
0:18and storied relationship with Rotowawire.com. So, always happy to to hop on.
0:23>> OG's of the fantasy game. Love being here and love being in the draft room with you. I have told Davis, maybe maybe
0:29guys, I'm doing it wrong, but I don't know. I trust the man. 1300 drafts done this year. I am giving Davis final
0:35control for any toss-ups we have in our quest to again team up and make some money here. So, we will be attempting to
0:41do that from the 109 position. Going to be hitting what I've been calling Davis the great wall of running backs in all
0:48likelihood. Have you found yourself again if you have the opportunity to attack this kind of again ridiculous Ashton Genty to Dererick Henry range?
0:55Like do you have a target or two amongst that group?
0:58>> I mean Genty is definitely my favorite and then Walker is my favorite of the next tier. I'm open I'm I'm pretty open
1:07to Hampton just having like this completely insane. I'm Hampton curious like I'm not nearly as convinced >> as the market that he's like very very
1:16good. I I mean he certainly could be >> theoretically the offensive line is very good if they can stay healthy.
1:23Theoretically he's got a great offensive coordinator. theoretically, uh, you know, he's got he's got a great quarterback. Like, it could it could be
1:29an all-time situation for him, but how Hey, Ian, you've been doing this a long time. How many times have the Chargers
1:35been the champions of the offseason?
1:36Have they ever not, frankly, have they ever not been the champions of the offseason? I I can't remember an offseason where they weren't.
1:44>> And I get on this show every single time and I keep saying, guys, my biggest bet I'm making is the Chargers being a
1:49juggernaut offense. And it does uh terrify me based on that. Davis. We do have a chance though to get a wide
1:54receiver before some of these running backs. What are you thinking here? CD and Jedha's on the board.
1:58>> I I have Jefferson ranked over Lamb personally, but I I'm fine with that one either way.
2:06>> Let's go with Justin Jefferson. I love me some CD Lamb. I just think there's a scenario where Pickkins could be the
2:12wide receiver one in Dallas. Even if it's 6040, like we don't have that with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Madison.
2:17With all due respect to Jordan Madison, >> I mean, with all due respect to to CD Lamb, it took Justin Jefferson getting
2:25the worst quarterback play in the NFL for him to finally have anyone within five yards of him, active players, career yards per game. Just Chase. Chase
2:35now I think is either tied with him or just above him by like half a yard in yards per game. Jefferson gets to play
2:42in a dome. He gets I I you know I think he's got an elite offensive coordinator.
2:47I I think Kyler is gonna Kyler's gonna make a lot of people uh feel upset about their Call of Duty jokes this year is my
2:54is my anticipation. I mean Guy Guy is playing for the rest of his life. If he plays well this year, he's going to get
2:59the bag one more time. If he plays bad this year, he's got like a Russell Wilson future. So So he's it's very very
3:05important for him to play well this year. and he does fit the sort of Sam Donald, Baker Mayfield, even Gino, like
3:12the Reclamation Projects. You want this ultra talented dude. And guys, even if you're not the biggest fan of Kyler, you cannot deny what he can do mobility and
3:19even arm talent-wise. Dude went number one overall for a reason back in the day. So, getting here though into round two, Saquon Barkley sitting at the top.
3:27That's cool with me, man.
3:28>> Yeah, that's a that's a jam. I I pretty much take these guys roughly in order of average draft position, but anytime you
3:37can get one to fall and you can get the more unique pairing, although I guess we did take Jefferson at a lamb, so
3:42slightly less unique. But I I think that Genty Cook, Love, Walker, Barkley are kind of their own tier. And then I think
3:49Chase Brown and Henry and honestly even Jeremiah Love probably should be in that tier if I had any confidence that the
3:55Cardinals were not going to be the worst team in football. Um, but I mean I do take I do take love, but I think Brown
4:01and Henry are slightly below that.
4:03>> I do feel better about Love and even Achan after going through and looking at how running backs have performed in bad
4:09bottom five, bottom 10 scoring offenses cuz the ones who have managed to still smash almost unanimously were catching 50 plus passes per year, which is firmly
4:18not even on the table, but like expected out of Achan and Genty, you know, >> 100%. And I mean Genty, you know,
4:25everyone kind of writes Genty off last year like, "Oh, like he didn't didn't do I mean he had 1300 yards and nine
4:31touchdowns. Like it it was really concentrated in two games, but you can't you can't say the guy had this like awful season. I I mean he clearly showed
4:42that if he can just get a decent offense around him, he's going to smash. Like I I you know, our our
4:48friend Peter Oberette does the truth serum video." And I think my truth serum video uh my my I'm I'm workshopping it
4:55but it might be Ashton Genty is actually the best running back in the NFL already and it's just being hidden by the fact
5:01that Pete Carol's Nepo baby kids were the offensive quality control coaches for the Raiders last year and I've seen the Genty Trent Richardson year one stat
5:10comparison. Guys, Richardson was like a top five RB and fantasy in year one. I understand what happened afterwards and if okay if we see Genty show me the year
5:182 numbers if those are like T rich we're going to have some serious problems I get it but I tend to agree with you
5:23every single thing went wrong for Genty last year you still look at it and no he didn't live up to ADP necessarily but
5:29still not a bad you know worst case scenario season there so getting into round three Z Flowers T Higgins Lab Makoni the top wide receivers Kairen ETN
5:38and Javvante Williams what are you thinking here Davis >> I would go T or lad here because there's three running backs left. There's a
5:46decent chance one of them gets to us.
5:48So, I like to add >> uh honestly slight preference for Lad just because his quarterback is cheaper and goes >> goes in that quarterback window that we
5:56that we talk a lot about.
5:59>> Were you uh surprised to hear the Bengals could be reportedly interested in another wide receiver?
6:05>> No. No. And I think the I've heard the same thing like I was talking about this on my channel yesterday. Like why like
6:11the Bears should also be like these teams that have two really good wide receivers. Why would you not want to have a third? Why would you not be
6:18interested in Keenan Allen? Why would you not be interested in Diggs? Why would you not be interested in a mid-season return for Tyreek Hill? Uh
6:24you know, I mean theoretically Brandon Iuk or whatever, but like >> right >> if your if your third wide receiver is
6:29Andre Yoshi Boss or Jade Walker or whatever, I mean do you really have a third wide receiver? Like not really.
6:35I'm begging someone, anyone, send the Patriots a fifth round pick for Kahan freaking booty. Looking at you, Chicago, Indie, Kansas City, any of those guys.
6:44It's going to be like a day three pick for him. We see it time and time again.
6:47That's even in addition to all the relevant unks that are free agents that you were going for. Malik Neighbors might not be on the pup, Davis.
6:53>> Yeah, dude. Discount here.
6:55>> That's like that's like the biggest thing in fantasy football that I'm monitoring right now is like the health of Malik Neighbors knee. And I I like
7:01taking Jacobs here, too. Um, love Wadd.
7:04Really any of these guys is fine.
7:07>> Let's go a lick neighbors. Been pounding the table for Jaylen Waddle. I'm sure everyone's sick and tired of me talking
7:12about at this point. But hey, I brought in I brought in Davis. I brought in the number one ranker in the freaking world
7:17that we can judge. Justin Boon and he is also in on Jaylen Waddle. Even if you guys don't believe me, I get it. I've
7:22been wrong before. Trust that guy, Jaylen Waddle. Get the waddle on. Sorry, what were you saying? I think there is no player that is more beloved by
7:31fantasy analysts and less loved by fantasy players than Jaylen Wadd. I think every fantasy analyst is like Jaylen Waddle huge smash. Got to take
7:39him. Got to get him. Let's move him up.
7:40Let's put him in the third round. And every like kind of just like, you know, normal guy. Oh, I'm going to draft some
7:45best ball teams. I'm going to draft my home league with my buddies. They're like, "Buddy, I'm not drafting Jaylen Waddle with my own money." Like that's
7:51for that's for that's for all you fantasy analysts with your fancy numbers who can't just watch the games and see that Joan Waddle spends a quarter of
7:58every game in the blue medical tent.
8:00>> He's got that Julio Jones gene, man.
8:02He's just hobbling off at least once if not more per game. And then you look up at the end of the year and you're like,
8:06"Oh, I guess he did actually play 15 or 16 games once again." So love us some Jaylen Wadd. And honestly Davis loving
8:13the start here. Justin Jefferson round one, Saquon round two. Got our hero RB Lakoni and Malik Neighbors after that.
8:20Have you been completely just drinking the early RB, you know, kind of syrup that's been going on or have you also
8:26been wanting to experiment with if not zero RB builds like the sort of hero type that we have going on now?
8:31>> I think the the hero builds are quite nice and frankly the the teams that I feel best about are like through like
8:39six rounds like truly like perfectly balanced like three running backs, three wide receivers. those generally speaking I look at those and I'm like man that
8:46feels so much better than the teams cuz you know I mean I'm drafting a ton of teams but I I will occasionally do the
8:53Genty Walker ETN Javvante and then oh I'm there in the fifth round and Tutinfell to me so I guess I just got my
8:58got my five running backs right there and what I am this is truly like in my heart of hearts this is what I am anticipating
9:07I think we are going to get if if not multiples of them one of the old guys who goes in round one, they're getting
9:15hurt or or just going to suck or or like just like could be McAffrey, could be Henry. I mean, even Jonathan Taylor's on
9:22his third contract. He's about to hold in to get a new contract.
9:26>> Um, >> hey, we're up here. Christian Wson, Carl Tate, DJ Moore. Haven't been a huge fan.
9:30I really don't want Bucky. If you do, >> I would take, if we're not taking Bucky, I would take Tate. And I'm I'm
9:37interested in my rankings. I I'm I don't think I've got the courage to do it yet, but I I want to move Price ahead of
9:45Bucky.
9:48>> Yeah, I think I'm already there, honestly. I get it.
9:51>> Yeah. I mean, Price, I think, is like the thing is is a lot of guys like in our space liked Bucky as a prospect. I
9:59did not. And so, I was pretty surprised when he was as good as he was as a rookie. And you just I mean this is just
10:04kind of the way football works. But if a guy is a three rass and weighs 187 pounds, it shouldn't be that surprising
10:09when he gets injured, right? That it's it's kind of the whole deal. Like a Chan Han was supposed to be this super
10:14fragile guy. And guess what? He's gotten ankle injuries. He's gotten shoulder injuries. Like that's what happens when you weighs 185 pounds.
10:21>> Bucky 10 picks past.
10:22>> I think we got Yeah. Now we got to take Bucky. Yeah.
10:25>> And this is what you do, guys. And I'm sure you know Davis will say the same thing. Like I am not a big fan of
10:30drafting Bucky. Okay. So, I still don't want to necessarily be at 0%. So, when am I going to draft him when he's 10
10:35freaking picks past ADP? That's how you balance it out with guys you don't love.
10:39>> I do I do um I kind of my my philosophy is just like the first like six rounds I I don't I try and not be like I'm going
10:47to do this in this draft. It's just like I mean one of the things we know everyone's done great like a lot of
10:52people have done great work on this but like the number one predictor of how many points your best team is going to
10:57score is how much real-time ADP value you get. Like literally the number one is just like it's why it's why drafting
11:03in a room where someone is on autodraft is so frustrating because you just you never end up getting the value.
11:09>> Yeah, >> that's so backwards, man. If you time out, that's on you. Set your queue. All right, set your queue. Get whoever you
11:16want. If you time out and you don't have someone set, why do we reward them with the following ADP? Give them freaking my
11:22guy Duke Johnson. Give me whoever's at the bottom of the freaking list.
11:26It's I they would never do it for baseball mania. I do wonder if maybe they would do like a $5 contest or
11:33something that time where it's like if you if you auto you're uh you're out.
11:36But yeah, no, I mean I I completely I completely agree with that. It's so it's so >> like there's just nothing worse than
11:42than being or multiple auto drafters.
11:44Then you're like, "Oh my god, just just the quarterbacks will go. It's just miserable."
11:49>> I've been in leagues too and I think this is fair. Like if I auto and I'm not being responsive in the chat saying,
11:53"Can you please pause for a second?" or anything like that. They give me some bum. Three other guys draft. They take
11:59whoever they want. I'm allowed to go back and say, "Okay, I want this guy who's still on the board." I can't erase
12:04picks. So, that happened. It's like when the Vikings missed their pick in the NFL draft like 20 years ago. You can you can
12:10go back and get your pick eventually, but you can't erase, you know, what happens after.
12:14>> No, I uh I I hard I hard agree with that. And this is I I actually have not seen Bucky in the sixth in a while on
12:22Underdog. So that was that was that was a nice little value for us there.
12:25>> Didn't fall too behind too far behind at RB which helps out especially with you know some of these guys not going. So
12:31Justin Herbert is sitting here for us.
12:33>> Wow. Mahomes goes at 74. We're we're in a we're in a weird we're in a weirdo draft right now.
12:38>> Hey we'll take it man. So Herbert would be a fun target here again. We got chances for Kyler later. Jackson Dar
12:44could be in a little bit. Cam war at the very end. So a lot of optionality at quarterback. We don't need to go Herbert
12:49but you know man I'd like to. I uh I mean what's your like what's your projection? Because one of the things
12:55that has been I I mean I'm fine taking Herbert here, but one of the things I've been a smidgen worried about is I don't
13:01know if Herbert and McDaniel are actually like that great of a stylistic fit. Now that obviously could be okay.
13:08Well, what has Mike McDaniel had to work with in in his career calling plays? I mean, you know, Tua was one of his
13:14quarterbacks and then he was also the offensive coordinator for the 2021 uh San Francisco 49ers who >> Hey, real quick.
13:21>> Quinn Johnson went so I'm not afraid of someone double tapping, so I would be okay to push it. Craft >> these guys all these guys all are
13:28whatever to me. I I have no I mean I like Harvey and Reed, but that it's it's whatever.
13:34>> Let's go with D.
13:35>> That's fine by me, too.
13:39>> I like I like Rico. I like Rico and Warren. I I honestly think they're both probably pretty good picks. Assuming
13:47that the backfield has similar expected fantasy points to what it did last year, >> dude. It's a hack. These 40-year-old quarterbacks, they don't want to get
13:56hit. They just dump the ball down. We've seen it with Breeze. We saw with late stage Big Ben. Like, their arm strength
14:01goes. Rogers can still sling it. That Hail Mary last year was freaking nuts, man. So, I'm not even saying that, but
14:06he does not want to get hit. We're going to get a bunch of targets to these guys.
14:09I I think it's probably Warren. I think Warren's better. I'm not so sure Mike McCarthy thinks that.
14:14>> I mean, Mike McCarthy brought in his boy. You got It's It's the year It's the year of uh of nepotism. You know, Chris
14:20Rodriguez there with the with the Jaguars, you know? I mean, every every former Saint is now a Denver Bronco.
14:26Like, you look at their depth chart and you're like, "Dude, why is Adam Troutman on this team?" [laughter] >> Yeah.
14:32>> Yeah. Herbert Herbert is an awesome pick here, though, assuming that we get him.
14:36Yeah. It's really good. And again, everyone, that's something that it's in these best ball drafts where you can be a little bit more sure about people
14:43going out of their way to stack. I think you can make stuff like that. So again, when I saw Quinton Johnson go here, I
14:49was less concerned about someone, you know, taking QJ and then taking Herbert.
14:53When there's no one at this turn that again has a reasonable stack, that is when you can push quarterback. I would
14:57say more so your home league situations.
14:59It'd be more so like, all right, if I'm trying to wait on a QB, look at the dudes drafting between you and the next
15:04time. And hey, if a lot of them already have their QBs, it's a more reasonable chance to be able to wait. So just again
15:10some tips and tricks if you're into that kind of thing. But through eight rounds, Davis, we got our quarterback in Herbert. We got three RBs, Saquon, Bucky
15:18Irving, and Rico D looking strong at wide receiver with Justin Jefferson, Lab Manki, Malik Neighbors, and Carnell Tate. So likely going to be playing the
15:26lateish round tight end game. But I don't know about you, man, I was taking like how have you felt about your drafts
15:31with early versus late round tight end?
15:34I love everyone loves Brock Bars and Coulson love him. Like I don't think that's a debate. But the debate for me
15:39is like do I like my teams when I'm burning that top four round pick on them or do I like just throwing a couple late
15:43round darts? So far I think it's more so the latter.
15:47>> I mean I definitely want to be overweight on Bowers, but there is no like it's so so clear that the teams you
15:56feel the best about are Oh, I took three late tight ends. I took uh I took I took Dalton Schultz. I took Terrence
16:03Ferguson. I took Pat Fmouth. I love my tight ends, right? Greg Doulich. Um I I mean I even still take Starders who you
16:11can get in the 18th round like reliably every single time. Gunner Helm like I like the tight end like 22 through like
16:1735 >> feature some of like my favorite picks, >> you know? And and the >> I like I take a little bit of Michael
16:24Mayer. I mean, you know, they're going to play a ton of 12. They have no wide receivers.
16:27>> He's got he's got contingent value for sure. I I think Mayer is is a fine pick.
16:32He's like 2023 Isaiah likely sort of situation, you know. We think the guy is maybe maybe he gets traded. Who knows?
16:38Crazier things happen.
16:39>> Maybe he gets traded. Yeah.
16:41>> Jackson Dart sitting here for us. Kyle Pittz. I do like Kyle Pitts. What are your thoughts here? Jacobe, Kenny Gamler, Rashad White. We can go pretty
16:48much any number of directions.
16:50>> I would probably be Jacobe.
16:53I do like Rashad White. I mean, Dart, we have the stack setup. Maybe we just go Yeah, maybe we just go dart and and and
17:02we can maybe be done at two quarterbacks.
17:04>> If we don't get another quarterback, we're we're okay. We can >> We're okay. Yes. Yeah.
17:09>> Awesome. Going to have opportunities. I think this would be a decent like Cam Ward team because we don't have to spend
17:14up. If Kyler Kyler is staring at us at this next round, but that would be three pretty high quality.
17:20>> I'm fine. I'm fine with that. I I mean I I pretty much every team on underdog do three quarterbacks, five running backs,
17:26seven wide receivers, three tight ends.
17:28There's no one really calling to me. If we hadn't gotten like Bucky or Rico, I think we'd be playing catch-up at
17:34running back, but why not just have the best quarterback room in our little league here?
17:38>> Yeah, that's why I mean that's that's ultimately why I feel that way is that these like you know after about pick 80
17:4585 the the positions the skill position players just get so flat. I'm like I don't know like really what is the
17:52difference between Kenny Gainwell and Woody Marks? Like I'm sure there's some difference, but it's not that big.
17:59>> Yeah, Woody Marks getting hyped up a little bit from uh beat reporters that may or may not know what the hell
18:04they're even talking about in the middle of July, but something to keep in mind there. Kyler went anyway, so it's a moot
18:09point. Rashad White, is this a uh slappy pick? I'm still trying to figure out that right lexicon.
18:14>> Uh I mean our boy our boy Jacob Sanderson takes a lot of him, but he just fits this build nicely because
18:21>> over game we already have Bucky. Yes, we definitely want it.
18:24>> Cool.
18:24>> Because we're we're both a little bit in between on Bucky. Like neither of us are big Bucky guys. Dowel, same deal. Like
18:30could be could be just could just be the third down back, you know, could be the Rashad White. So like you're we're just
18:35stacking up a little bit of variance. I mean I take a lot more of Jakory Crosky Merritt in that back field, but and
18:43especially as he is continued to get cheaper, but I mean there's there's no doubt about it. Like Rashad White is probably right now better at running on
18:51early downs than JCM is at playing at passing downs, but that might not be true for the entirety of the season.
18:57Like running backs, there a lot of examples of this running backs being really bad on passing downs earlier in their career and figuring it out as they
19:05go on.
19:06>> I just feel like Rashad White is that running back who know he's not going to have the sick cut back 70 yard touchdown
19:11that we're all, you know, going crazy for on Monday or anything like that. But I think when the coach designs a play to
19:18pick up four yards in the B gap, Rashad White's going to get you that. And Bill, for better and for worse, I think
19:23there's a lot to be said about someone who can't have his explosive big play ability. Bill was so freaking good last
19:28year for a late round pick, but everyone got out of their freaking minds in August. So, it becomes this weird thing
19:33where almost similar to Genty, like he kind of underperformed the skyhigh expectations we have. So, I'm not necessarily anointing White over Krosky
19:42Merritt, but whoever like Davis, if we knew for sure it was Rashad White, he's going five rounds earlier.
19:47>> He's going way Yeah. If we knew if we knew for sure either way, the price is really bad. I I'm kind of betting we do
19:54know, which is that Rashad White is going to play the role that Eckler was in and JCM is going to play the role
19:59that he was just in. And yeah, >> they let I mean, they they didn't even pretend they were going to keep Chris
20:04Rodriguez. They were like, "All right, man. Thanks for your service. Uh we we'll bring in what Katron and uh Robert Henry and Jerome Ford and and we're just
20:15going to we're going to figure it out.
20:17>> We got Jaden Higgins [snorts] chilling. I've taken a little bit of him when I haven't gotten Nico, but I don't
20:22think we necessarily need to go that route. If we did want to get our first tight end, there goes the Isaiah likely
20:27opportunity. That's okay. Mark Andrews Concade. Again, we can go kind of any number of directions here. How you feeling?
20:33I take Andrews the most of this list. It Some people think he's absolutely cooked. Some people like him just fine.
20:40Um I I don't mind Jaden Jaden Higgins also gives us an option for another quarterback. Yeah, let's let's do that actually. Let's do Higgins.
20:49>> Cool. Yeah, I have uh there's a couple guys you can do. Coker and uh Bryce Young later as well. Higgins and Strad,
20:56you know, or just take Malik Willis and any freaking random Miami Dolphin at the end of your draft as well. Maybe Andrew
21:02comes back to us.
21:03>> I I Where where where are you at on Malik Willis? I I to me he's the easiest pick on the board. It's just like, well,
21:09it's not going to work out sometimes, but this is what we've been I mean, dude, we did Justin Fields. We did Trey
21:15Lance. We did Anthony Richardson. Guess what? All those dudes were a billion times more expensive. Now, this dude is is in the 130s. It's wild. The only it's
21:2426 to 28 last 10 years 26 to 28 quarterbacks with 100 plus rush attempts have been a top 12 signal caller. Can it
21:31happen with Justin Fields where they just play bad enough to get benched?
21:35Okay, >> for sure.
21:37>> And I was wrong with Justin Fields last year. I thought he would have a longer leash than possible. I'm not saying it's
21:41impossible for that to happen to Malik Willis, but we don't have to. Usually Davis, we got to draft these guys like
21:45around the QB1 borderline. Now he's just a late round dart. So yeah, I'll sign up for that. He's going after I mean no
21:51disrespect dude, but he's going after Tyler Shuck, you know, like come on, man. Uh >> or what do you think?
22:00>> I'd probably be concaid here.
22:02>> Do you want Straoud? We got to take him now if we want him.
22:04>> Uh actually, yes. Yeah, let's just do that cuz again, I like the I like the late tight ends. Like again, you know,
22:10we can we can look at the projections on rotoire.com, but I'd guess Dton Concaid is I'd guess he's pretty close. I bet if
22:16we pulled him up, I bet he's pretty close to Pat Fryouth. I I bet I bet they're within like 08 points per game, honestly.
22:25>> Yeah, maybe. Man, I It's interesting with Fri, man. They pay Washington. I feel like they love that dude. But Frymouth isn't that far removed from a
22:34season in which he was, you know, like a low-end tight one.
22:37>> Two years ago, we drafted Pat Frymouth in the top 100 picks.
22:43>> You know, >> it's not [clears throat] that long ago.
22:44It's not really that long ago, man. I mean, even last year after they signed Jonnu and they started playing Darnell Washington the year before, he was still
22:52like in like the 130s, 140s.
22:54>> Yeah.
22:56>> And and now Jonnu is gone. They get a new offensive coordinator who is This is one of the things I I thought that um
23:04like big fantasy football would be more hip on this, but Arthur Smith is gone.
23:08He's with your boys. He's at uh he's he's the Ohio State Buckeyes offensive coordinator. the guy they brought in, Brian Angelino, I think is how you
23:15pronounce it. It's doesn't have a G. It has a ch in it.
23:19>> Angelico. There you go. And yeah, one of the two. He's a McShanny guy.
23:24>> He's a He's a He's a Mcshanny tree guy.
23:27He He was the uh quarterback's coach, offensive quality control coach under KOC for the Vikings. So, we've got Aaron Rodgers,
23:38all-time great quarterback. We got all these skill position players. We like the Steelers were like 27th in pace last year and they're still not going to be
23:46super fast cuz Rogers controls that, but they're going to be faster.
23:49>> Like I I I think the Steelers for the way like cuz baseball is such an annoying game where it honestly is kind
23:56of just mining out the value from these bad teams cuz everything in baseball is related to cost and taking Steelers players does feel like I mean you're not
24:04going to hit a home run but there's there's a lot of doubles against the wall there. I think >> they got to be one of the only teams
24:10that doesn't have a single top 12 quarterback or tight end or a top 24 running back or a top 24 wide receiver.
24:17And like I don't think anyone expects them to finish 10th like top 10 in scoring, but they could easily finish what 16th or 17th again. So
24:24>> they could they could easily finish 17th in scoring.
24:27>> Yeah. So all right. No Gatsen. That's honestly okay. Joan Naylor, Hunter Henry, Jawan Johnson. What are you feeling here?
24:36>> [sighs and gasps] >> I would probably take Spears or Coleman and then just be done at uh at running back.
24:43>> I feel like Spears has the better. Yeah, let's go with Spears. That dude just football man.
24:49>> I was going to say Spears is pretty good. He's got outs for Pard being traded. Um or or just catch I think
24:58Spears in the exact same uh Dylan Samson and uh Kenneth Gainwell sort of tier, you know.
25:09We're back.
25:10>> We're back.
25:11>> We're [laughter] back.
25:13>> Glitched out for a second.
25:15>> I was like, "Oh, man. Piss you off."
25:17>> No. No. [laughter] Uh, I don't know if that was my internet or yours.
25:21>> Uh, can you show me the can you show me the tight end tab?
25:25>> Yes. It's going to be a little scary.
25:27Jan, >> I would I actually have Schultz ahead of Jawan in my rankings. I I mean I don't I don't really care and I I don't sweat
25:35>> ADP down here very much, but Schultz um >> like kind of just easily finishes the tight end eight last year because
25:43>> he is going to be the guy closer to the line of scrimmage in that offense and like >> he very similar to Kate Uton. He just
25:50plays like every down like every like all the time. Then maybe he gets trimmed a little bit by Marlon Klein. I don't
25:56know.
25:57>> We've had these three years though in Houston. First year 10 PPR points per game. second year seven, third year 10.5. And it's like, all right, he's
26:05being priced at when he finishes seven, so let's go ahead and just try to draft this. Like, he could easily, we see this
26:11every year, Dave, it's like tight end 10 through tight end 19, there's like 1.1 fantasy points per game that separate him. I absolutely think Schultz could be
26:18somewhere in that tier.
26:20>> Easily. Easily. Yeah. And I mean, that's why like the every year the easiest lesson in fantasy football is like the
26:26worst picks in fantasy football are like tight end five through 13. They're just like categorically the worst picks. I I did a whole video about this on my
26:35channel and I pulled up some of the examples and it is so funny to see some of the guys who have been drafted as top
26:4010 tight ends because they scored touchdowns the year before like just guys who immediately are like out of out of football. It's it's just it Pat
26:48Fernuth actually funnily enough was uh was one of them. But like >> Hawinson last year >> Hawinson. Yeah, dude. It's just I mean
26:54Andrews has been at a bunch. Like guess what dude? Kenyan Sadiq is somehow gonna catch six touchdowns this year for the
27:00crappy Jets. He's gonna be the tight end eight next year and then he's gonna have like 400 yards. You know, that's just
27:05that's just how it goes.
27:06>> Yeah.
27:07>> I wasn't chasing Sadi up like, you know, pre-draft and even a little bit after he's kind of going closer to that tight
27:11end one borderline. I will say though, he's kind of reached that same point with Omar Cooper, Casey Conception where it's just like, hey, they're a first
27:19round pick and they're going this late.
27:20Okay, I'll take you sometimes at least.
27:23I mean, I I I mean, I'm pretty into taking Sadi where he goes actually in in a specific build. You I wouldn't want
27:30him on this one because I like So, we're going to take three and we kind of just need guys who are going to run a bunch
27:35of routes. But >> I don't know what if the Jets aren't the Jets, man. What if what if the Jets What
27:40if the Jets win eight games, you know?
27:42>> What if [snorts] But do you know what I think that's going to happen? Any team could be good. All right. And Vegas
27:49team could be good. Yeah.
27:50>> Dead last, you know. So >> I hear you.
27:53>> I would I would bet on them beating that total.
27:56>> I do too. I don't think they're >> definitely think they're closer to 32 than one though. Not the hottest take in
28:02the world. I do see your point. But again, if it's >> I'm way more fine taking that chance with Cooper and Sadique than I am with
28:08Garrett and Bree and burning a top four round pick on it. That's all.
28:11>> I like I mean I like Adnai Mitchell. So I would have helm would be my highest ranked tight end here.
28:17>> Okay. Well, we already have two Titans.
28:19That's my only problem. Okay. Uh, yeah, let's take Dosich then.
28:23>> Cool.
28:24>> Or actually, take Judy. Take Judy.
28:27>> Hey, no [ __ ] complaints here, Davis.
28:29I have drafted this dude so freaking much. Is having 1,200 yards two years ago bad? I'm sorry. Jameus Winston actually wanted to throw this guy the
28:37ball for once. Excuse me, >> man. I I I don't want to be the guy falling for the
28:47propaganda for Jerry Judy, but how do you at at look at the wide receivers who go around him? Malik Washington, Isaac
28:55Tesla, Antonio Williams. Jerry Judy was third in the NFL last year in total routes, 29th in the NFL in targets. He's going
29:05to I mean, he might stink. He might be totally done. And the Browns might be 32 out of 32, but man, that is a lot of
29:11volume to just be like, you know what, dude? I'm taking Jeremy Bernard instead.
29:15>> Dude, he got Again, you guys like fantasy points, separation scores. I do.
29:1914th best dude last season. All right.
29:22He was still separating out there.
29:23Dolich.
29:24>> Yeah.
29:24>> Yes. Yeah, let's do that.
29:26>> Sweep.
29:27>> We're We're going to get We're going to get sniped on my boy. No. No way. Is Tfur gonna make it back around to us?
29:32People are >> No.
29:33>> People are too hip now, man.
29:35>> Yeah. It's sad. Back in back in my day, T Ferg would have been he wouldn't have even been in the fantasy football
29:42magazine, dude. They he would have been he would have been totally unknown to the general public.
29:48>> I will say I was looking at uh all the outside the top 200 picks. How many touchdowns did he score last year? It's
29:54Kobe Parkinson number one with nine and it's free agent Kareem Hunt with eight.
29:59Like it is again I've been drafting Ferg. He's got the highest upside. There is a scenario where he's basically wide receiver three. McVey said the right
30:07things kind of says the right things about everyone in the offseason. I get it. But I'm in on Ferguson, but it is
30:12curious if forced to like we could get Kobe Parkinson round 18. Have you been going down that road?
30:18>> I've taken him a couple times just as like a pure uh protection play. Like man, how pissed will I be if Kobe
30:26Parkinson scores eight touchdowns this year and I was drafting his backup all season, you know? But I I mean I think
30:33that Kobe Parkinson obviously like he had >> he had the Gary Barnage season. He had the the the um >> Robert Tonion,
30:42>> J Robert Ton, Jacob Tammy, you know, these guys who just pop up with with big touchdown seasons out of nowhere on on
30:49limited volume like >> Perkins. I mean, dude, you want to talk about funny names that were top picks?
30:54Tyler Higgby was once a top 100 pick uh for >> crazy in that last four games of the year winning everyone their titles. All
31:01right, that's the thing. If Kobe didn't dud in that like week 16 game when everyone finally got around to starting him, I bet he'd be going like 30 picks
31:09earlier. But there is the very real kind of you screwed me in the fantasy playoffs so I'm not drafting you next
31:14year caveat. Honestly, I I think what it probably is is that Claire being drafted, you would think that is a bear
31:26signal for Ferg. I I actually am interpreting it the other way where taking a tight end that early is them being like, "Dude, we got to have like
31:33five tight ends cuz we don't have a third wide receiver. Our whole offense this year is going to be based around
31:38these guys actually being able to catch the ball. Like, we can't just have glorified tackles out there." Yeah. And if Parkinson regresses, like we got to
31:46have another plan or or or they just move on. And and Tyler Higgby, this will probably be his last year for the Rams.
31:52They'll probably cut Davis Allen. You know, >> we are approaching round 17. Two more picks. Davis, I know we need one more
31:59tight end. We're probably good at running back. So, is there another wide receiver you like to target late and is his name? Rashad Baitman.
32:06>> I mean, Baitman is cool with me. Uh Tank Dell is cool with me. Jaylen Null is cool with me. We do have so that would
32:14make sense.
32:15>> Yeah, I'm not taking Darius Sllayton. I I am clean and sober from Sllayton. Uh my favorite >> two, man. But Davis, now that we aren't
32:22taking Sllayton, he's going to give us 706.
32:26That's just how it >> would be. I mean, he's hurt right now, too. Like, uh >> why is Keenan Allen go 100 picks after
32:34Stefon Digs?
32:35>> We just don't know. Just don't know if he's gonna gonna play. Taquan Thornton actually is is my favorite late wide
32:41receiver. HE FELL TO US. That happened.
32:43>> Wow. What a jam. People come on down.
32:47>> It's so funny. Of course he fell to us because I'm so used to streaming these drafts with like my people who know who
32:52I'm going to take and they never they never want to let me get Terg. But now we're here. We're you know we're we're
32:57pre-recording this. So we're just we're just chilling right now.
33:00>> I'm keeping Marshon Lloyd in the queue just so he knows I appreciate him. But I understand that we are going wide
33:05receiver here. So yeah, probably Baitman. I think Dell already won. He's starting. You know, we got that good video out there, so people are wising up
33:12to it at this point. Yeah, he went round 16.
33:15>> Although, there was a there was a report today on Dell that like they're going to really manage his reps, which makes
33:23sense, dude. He had that injury was catastrophic, man. It was so bad.
33:27>> Horrific. Horrific. Not Not like he's this big guy either. So, round 18, everyone. We have made it here. Let's do
33:34some more shot Baitman, dude.
33:37>> I'm cool. I'm cool with Baitman. I mean, sounds sounds like every day that is uh is is happening that uh he's just going
33:45to be the wide receiver, too. Like, they draft Serat, they draft Lane to to throw you off the scent, but at the end of the
33:51day, it was it was always Rashad Bait, man.
33:54>> It's not like, man, I get it. Serat, great production score.
33:59I even like Jacobe Lane as more of a he was kind of like my favorite day three later sleeper and then he went
34:05>> I liked him. I liked him, too. Yeah.
34:07>> Yeah. I was like, I don't know. Making sick one-handed catch for two years at USC is kind of cool if you ask me. Dude,
34:13our societyy's so lame. Dudes make one-handed catches now and we're like, oh, no separation.
34:17>> No separation.
34:20>> And they're kind >> separate, brother. [laughter] >> Yeah.
34:24>> Team nine over here again. Started off with Justin Jefferson and Saquon Barkley. Went wide receiver heavy after that. Lab Makoni, Malik Neighbors, and
34:31Carnell. Tate got a free falling Bucky Irving about 10 picks past ADP. That was probably our biggest kind of just value
34:38I would say of the draft. Rico Dattle after that to get our RB3. Justin Herbert and Jackson Dart again good stacks with L Manki and Malik Neighbors.
34:46We picked up Rashad White in round 10.
34:48Jaden Higgins after that to get our third quarterback CJ Strad. Taj Spears to complete the running back room.
34:53Obviously you guys have not heard me say a tight end yet, which means we had to take three of them in our final five
34:57picks. Daltton Schultz, Greg Dol, Terence Ferguson. round things out with two wide receivers who again this time last year just purely looking at where
35:05they went last year versus where they're going now. We're going so much higher.
35:09Jerry Judy, Rashad Baitman, has their situation really changed that much because we because we added some rookies. Well, Davis and I are betting
35:16it hasn't. So, it's not like we're talking about these 33y old dudes who are clearly past their prime men. I know
35:22last year didn't go great. I'm just not convinced they're suddenly these horrible football players. So again, Davis, I would like to believe that
35:28every single team I draft is going to be the winner. So we'll keep, you know, the optimism and stuff, but truly I I forget
35:33if it was I heard you say it or Peter, whoever I heard it first, but like, you know, there is a certain way to build
35:38where you're like, I have a bullet. I think this team has a chance. And I feel like this team has a chance.
35:43>> This team for sure has a chance. It's structured well. We have our stacks. All three of our quarterbacks are stacked. I
35:48I think if you are going to forsake Bowowers, McBride, and Loveland, this to me is kind of how you do it. There's
35:56just not much of a difference between Daltton Schultz or Hunter Henry or Greg Doulich and Brentton Strange or whatever. Like they're you you can have
36:02a personal opinion, but the reality is they're they're more or less >> the exact same guy. So, I uh I I I like
36:09this team quite a bit. I mean, number one way to like your team is to get an ADP faller like Bucky and then to have a
36:16guy who's going to rise. Like if if Harbaugh comes out tomorrow and says Neighbors is good to go, we expect him
36:21to play week one. Malik Neighbors in the 40s is done. It's over going to going to going to be a second round pick.
36:26Probably probably going to go like if if like if Neighbors plays in a preseason game, which I think is very very
36:33unlikely.
36:34>> Mhm.
36:35>> He would go where St. Brown, Jefferson, and Lamb are going.
36:38>> Yeah.
36:40That's and guess what? If if you're if you guys want to just wait until the end of August and draft and not to deal with
36:44this stuff, okay, fine. I get it. But if you are drafting more so around the calendar, like those are the sorts of
36:49bets you should be willing to try to make in such a big tournament like this one. So, the thing I saw uh today
36:54literally from Adam, shout out Adam Levitan quoting Jordan Renan. Renan said straight up, all eyes will be on neighbors who is expected to avoid the
37:02physically unable to perform list. Like that's the main issue, dude. I I can live with a two-e ramp up. I just don't
37:08want to live with that ramp up in weeks five and six. Like if we're good to go in September for neighbors, like come
37:13on.
37:15>> It it is I think he and Jacobs are the two most interesting guys and they go right next to each other because if
37:23things move the right way, draft boards are going to be super different in the last like last two weeks, three weeks
37:31before the season and for like reddraft stuff too. You know, a lot of people have not even I mean, I haven't done my
37:36home league draft yet. And I'm like, if I I mean, first off, I guarantee you I'm taking Neighbors in the fourth round of
37:41my home league, even if he is on the pup, but like that's also a situation where if he is at the one two turn and
37:47like I think the Giants are going to be more runheavy and all this stuff, then I'm going to have to think about it.
37:52>> Davis, I appreciate you, brother. You are streaming all day, every day. Make sure you guys again go ahead and follow
37:57him. You guys probably already are if you're watching a basketball draft, but man, absolutely crushing out there and just a a grinder's grinder, bro. I I I
38:04know you get out there, you play some golf and everything, but you know, we're all going to be wrong and say some stuff
38:09that's going to look bad in 12 months and stuff and we sure are, man.
38:14>> We sure [laughter] will. But man, you truly are in there putting your money down every single day. And man, I I just
38:19appreciate you.
38:20>> Hey, I appreciate you too as well, Ian.
38:22Thank you very much for having me. Love what you guys are doing over here. big fan of uh your your new co-orker Theo
