0:00is a great day to compete for a grand prize of $1 million. Something like that. It's a lot of money. We're in the
0:06FFPC streets. Myself and ETR's finest, John Dagel, drafting out of the 103 hole. Team Greg George, wide receiver one. And Johnny, we're already on the
0:15clock. I see you queued up Brock Bowers at his tight end premium. Is that what you're thinking?
0:20>> Passive aggressive suggestion. Yes, Brock Bowers in FFBC is my 102. Uh, Jamir Gibbs I think is still the easy one-on-one in every format, but for me
0:29in this kind of format, I do want Brock Bowers over the wide receivers.
0:33>> I've drafted a lot of Christian McCaffrey already here. I'm okay not having 100% exposure to the guy. Is CMC your 103 and non-titend premium.
0:44>> In home leagues, yes. In FFPC, no, but also like yourself, I have a few of these teams and so I've been spreading
0:51out my exposure.
0:53>> Let's get some Brock Bowers. I will say the one thing having done a few of these, it's annoying to me being in the
0:58middle rounds and be like, "Oh my god, I got to get the tight end. I got to do this. Oh, I missed the I missed the run
1:03going on here." We have Brock Bowers, John. We don't have to worry about that.
1:06That's poor people problems right now.
1:08>> Uh Brock Bowers, as we know, we only saw one week last year who was drafted around this range in FFPC leagues last
1:16season. and the one week we saw him against the Patriots targeted on 31% of his routes over a 100red yards through
1:22three quarters suffers that knee injury, we never see the same player again. Uh but now it's also about when people are
1:29jamming up running backs here. I am a lot more comfortable, especially in these kind of formats, 20 rounds, right?
1:36Uh I'm a lot more comfortable with the running backs than I think a lot of people are. Uh and we've done enough
1:41drafts to understand how to navigate it for better or worse, right or wrong.
1:45like I at least know how to navigate it when I don't start with a running back.
1:48So that's why I just like being ahead of it and getting him here.
1:51>> And I'm with you, man. I feel like things have cleared up a little bit.
1:54Honestly, some of the concerns I have with Bucky Irving and Shawn Tucker, he made the team and everything, but I wouldn't say it's as much of a lock that
2:00he's going to be the goal lineback or anything as it might have been previously. Marshon Lloyd is all of a sudden firmly in that borderline RB2
2:07conversation. Jarian Price is looking good with Zack Charbanet on the pub. I mean, I feel like a few short weeks ago,
2:13you can make the argument where after Smith and maybe Montgomery if you're into him, it really did become that quote unquote RB dead zone, but could be
2:21famous last words, John. I'm okay with some of these middle round running backs.
2:25>> Uh, and you mentioned Swift. Swift has gained even more value with this Kong guy week toe knee injury to open the
2:31year. Not to mention Travis ETN, that was a dead zone back. But now Devin Nil out for the entire year on into reserve
2:38and Alvin Kamar, 31 years old, battling his own knee injury heading into the regular season. So yeah, I I agree with
2:44you where I think we can elevate some of these backs, but if not, like I said, I'm still com comfortable rolling out
2:49the pass catching options and then we'll go from there. Marshon Lloyd clearly the biggest riser here. Uh like yourself, I had a lot of home leagues over the
2:57weekend as well and it always got down to Tony Pard, Jonathan Brooks range and that's when I was then pulling the
3:05trigger over Marshon Lloyd and really just came down to ask yourself uh in week one, would you start Tony Pard or
3:10Marshon Lloyd? It's very easily the answer is Marshon Lloyd. So that's where I'll take him.
3:15>> I know Polliver was being beat as that kind of like last stop running back you could get, but I don't I don't know,
3:21man. A lot of Taj Spears in the preseason. I just have zero faith in the Titans and Brian Dable experience.
3:26Actually had an article go up on rotoire.com and also a video right where you were watching it going over some of
3:31these, you know, 16 preseason trends that, you know, John, it is a preseason.
3:35Maybe they actually don't mean a goddamn thing out here. But maybe they do. And the one thing I was able to find with
3:39the Titans is just dead last easily, man, in pre- snap shift emotion. And I had Titans beat reporters immediately say, "Well, it's the preseason. They're
3:47dumbing it down." I saw a little bit more in practice. I hope they do. But when Brian Dable was coming from an
3:52offense that also ranked dead last and he also didn't do any of it in New York certainly has my attention. So I don't
3:57know man. I don't have any Titans on my fantasy football team. I think I can live with that.
4:02>> I agree with you in that those are the items I look at for the preeason. don't really care about performance much. But
4:10if players are used >> uh intuitively like Casey Conpsion getting a carry inside the 10 yard line, that's super interesting because that's
4:18means we can get him the ball other ways similar to rookie year Jaden Reed.
4:22That's how he had success too. Just trying to get him the ball lower to the field. And then like you said, play
4:27action. I look at blitz rate as well to understand matchups going into the year.
4:30Um which defenses blitz the most. So then we can kind of start identifying the week one then two quarterbacks who will struggle or have strength against
4:38the Blitz. Yeah, it's the time of the year where I'm going to go ahead and start flipping the calendar to week one
4:42more than anything in the preseason. At least the big picture takeaways help with that.
4:47>> Would like to think we don't have too many more ranking adjustments coming, but who knows the way it goes. So I am
4:52with you >> on the show, but like I feel like I'm so over talking about players. Like I'm ready to talk about something new like
5:00Mike Evans week one match up against the new Rams quarterbacks. Like that's the angle no one's come at from yet. I'm so
5:06excited to talk about actual football.
5:08Drake May against cover six. Uh now he has AJ Brown and Romeo Dubs an entirely different set of receivers to to answer
5:16Mike McDonald's defense. That's what I want to start talking about now.
5:19>> I absolutely love and I'm absolutely with you there. Again, preseason's a nice little appetizer. We haven't had anything. It's better than nothing. But
5:25the real real football is back, Johnny.
5:28And I for one cannot wait through round one here again over in the FFPC streets where it is tight end Prim, which is why
5:33we selected Brock Bowers at the 103. His ADP, by the way, everyone, it hovers between like 107 and 108. He usually
5:40goes after those big three running backs, big four wide receivers. So, yeah, John and I were a little bit aggressive here, but it isn't quite as
5:46egregious as you might think. Otherwise, if you haven't been in these TEP streets, more wide receivers than maybe I was expecting to go early on. We did
5:53have City Lambs sticking to the back of round one. Justin Jefferson there at the turn. Ashton Jenty sitting there at the
5:58112. Sound like John he got out to practice after not originally being there. Again, the fact that these are things that I am unironically interested
6:07in on a Tuesday on September 1st. A little bit uh you know, little bit weird you could say in our fantasy football
6:12obsession that we call life. But nevertheless, sounds like he's more so on track for week one as opposed to someone like Jeremiah Love.
6:20>> Correct. and more importantly played so well was so explosive just a walking 10 yard play in the preeason that I did
6:28begin wondering what is this touch share going to be for Ashton Genty now I still think at the end of the day it's going
6:32to be 7525 if not higher but Mike Washington could have played himself into like a Katon Mitchell-like role where if he popped up with five touches
6:41you wouldn't be shocked in week one and that could certainly be usable down the stretch so Mike Washington I still have
6:46as a elite stash and then we'll go from there especially if they want to nurse Genty's injury in week one against a
6:54very bad Dolphins team. Uh that game, by the way, is going to be fun because the Raiders defense is also atrocious. And
7:02so all these seasonl long projections and fades we have on like Devon Achan in the middle of a second round player. I'm
7:08not even saying they're wrong, but Devon Achan is going to go nuclear in week one. It shouldn't shock anyone because that matchup is so elite for fantasy.
7:15Malik Willis, uh Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer, the list goes on. continued.
7:20>> Achan's going for a buck 50 and two touchdowns against the Raiders. Then we're going to get a flood of, "Oh, I
7:25was told you couldn't draft them on a Han round two." And you know what? Maybe those people were right for week one. I
7:30would expect them to at least be there.
7:31I'm with you though, John. I was looking up uh the cheapest wide receivers on the DraftKings main slate who should at
7:37least have a full-time role. We got sub 4K. We got B Rashad Baitman, Jan Dodson, Caleb Douglas, but the real favorite,
7:44the real chalk, 3400. Maybe he's 3,500.
7:48Devon Vele. Yeah, that's my guy. That's my quant.
7:53>> I I am in a You're not gonna be able to wrap your head around this in the moment, but I'm
7:58in a 30 Okay. 32 team.
8:01>> Let's go.
8:02>> Superflex titan premium guillotine league [laughter] and I picked from the 102 last night. I I picked I saw Jir Gibbs. So, I got super excited after
8:12Josh Allen went. So, I took Jir Gibbs and I quickly remembered I have 61 picks until I pick again. So, my starting
8:21quarterback coming back was Deshawn Watson. My point though is that my second wide receiver, so I have to start three wide receivers in this league in
8:28week one. My second wide receiver is Devon Vele and I've never been more excited. Like I was so excited to start
8:34him.
8:35>> I'm also in a 32 team league and it's so gross. That's actually kind of refreshing because you're going through the waiver wires and that's why I do
8:42love guillotine leagues because again you go through at least John and I, you know, we go through 15 regular waiver wires looking at the same guys and then
8:49guillotine is a breath of fresh air. 32 team league is like the opposite of that but it's so gross you can actually talk
8:54yourself into it. Anyway, John, we're about to be back here on the clock.
8:57We've had a lot of the running backs dry up. Not quite all of them though. Could I interest you in some Derrick Henry if
9:03he falls a few more picks?
9:05That's usually what happens here in this range is that you're kind of forced to go Dererick Henry. Uh I I think the
9:14Coloulston Lovelin double tap is also really interesting.
9:17>> Wow.
9:18>> Uh but then also >> AJ Brown would also be cool. All right, there goes AJ Brown, so not him.
9:22>> Um yeah, well I I think I I prefer Nico Collins to AJ Brown, too. The thing is though, there goes Dererick Henry. Okay.
9:31>> Yeah. So I I think the Colston Lovelin or N or Nico Collins.
9:37>> How comfortable are you here?
9:41>> I definitely agree. We can wait and get running back in round three because there's a number of names.
9:48Javvante Bree Swift Jeremiah whatever. Sell me on Lovelin over Nico because I don't I don't quite see that.
9:58Uh Lovelin's target share over his last five games when he was a starter matched Trey McBride's target share all year long. Uh Silva and I have Lovelin just
10:06ranked over McBride in a vacuum. Um and then Nico Collins, I mean, if we want Nico Collins, again, I'm not going to
10:12push back. I think this format though is more uh inducive and makes it unique to have Bowers and Loveland.
10:20>> Let's get weird. John Coulson Lovelin, >> I say let's try >> second round. Let's go. I I have a main
10:26event that also starts like this from the 105 with uh Bowowers and Lovelin, too, because the board gives you Derrick Henry most of the time at this range.
10:34So, everyone just goes some combination of like a wide receiver or Bowowers and then Dererick Henry. And I'm like, well, uh, Colston Lovelin could be the better
10:42pick here. So, let's get a Ben Johnson offense with a terrible defense and let's just see if we could light up the
10:48scoreboard every week. And again, tight end premium guys, if we did happen to hit on these two and if there is a gap
10:54after the Bowowers, Lovely, McBride tier, and everyone else might have our league in a bit of a panic there.
11:02>> You keep mentioning running back too, but if Nico Collins comes back, we need to have a conversation.
11:06>> I agree. I agree.
11:08>> Nico Collins and Chris Olive next on the board. I like Malik Neighbors, but also it just seems really easy to say we
11:15don't have to take the risk on Malik Neighbors. Nico, >> Nico Collins. And there he goes. Yeah, same guy. Got him. I have Javvante
11:22Williams as number one running back available.
11:24>> You and I disagree on Javvante Williams.
11:26Um, you could you could convince me though. You could budge me.
11:31>> The Cowboys are really, really, really freaking good and he could fall into the end zone 16 times. That's my pitch.
11:37>> Um, yes. I just don't like taking players at premium prices when we don't have to. Like last year, he went the
11:44eighth round. That was the time to take them. I'm not chasing because I missed that. Bruce Hall is the more arc type uh
11:51running receiving back, but also he plays for the Jets, so we don't have to get him here either. If you want
11:56Javvante Williams, I think it's fine because we're in a range where I think Devonte Smith is probably the next best pick.
12:04>> Let's go Javvante Williams.
12:06>> Okay, totally fine.
12:10>> Cool.
12:11>> I don't want to get too cute cuz I want to start taking some of these wide receivers, too. that that would be what
12:16would piss me off. We're back here in round four, five, six, and it's like, well, I don't want Quinn Sean Judkins,
12:21but we need a running back. I'm trying to avoid that.
12:23>> I I totally get it. Yes, I think I I like pushing it a little bit further.
12:28Um, but again, I'm much more comfortable with the running backs here. That's why I also don't have much George Pickkins either. I just again, I don't like
12:38paying premium prices for guys who have never been at premium prices. Uh, it's just something I typically try to avoid personally
12:45>> and I think it's a good general mindset.
12:47I just really struggle to paint a picture where Javvante stays healthy for 17 games and is anything worse than like a top 15 running back.
12:55>> I I understand that's what that's kind of the poking the hole in the dead zone this year is that the dead zone backs
12:59you could argue are easily better than they've ever been. Kron Williams, Travis Ten, Javvonte Williams. That's why I also like to personally zoom out and
13:07just uh remind myself that the names may be different, but the results really don't change. I mean, they could change and there are outliers. That's why I
13:15mentioned Bree Hall, Jeremiah Love, just because at least those guys like do earn targets, whereas Javvante Williams last year, Javante Williams
13:23yards per out run have decreased for three consecutive seasons now. Uh David Montgomery, don't get me started on David Montgomery because like like uh I
13:31I think the the laziest analysis, not from anyone in particular, that I've heard all off seasonason is Dave is about Dave Montgomery's receiving
13:37profile when it actually was even last year. It was better than Kairen's, Javvante Williams, and Travis ETN. Like all the guys that everyone's taking over
13:46him, Dave Montgomery has a better profile than those individuals. Uh so I I love Dave Montgomery. I know there's a, you know, no one's more aware has
13:55their finger on the pulse of current memes that are popular than yourself.
13:59You know, right now the the favorite meme by everyone is to put uh started zero RB and have Dave Montgomery on RB1
14:06and it's something like super sad, but I think it should change to something super excited because Dave Montgomery is going to go [ __ ] nuts this year and
14:15and everyone's going to be shocked.
14:17It's one of those things, man, where to to meet me, the dead zone running back, it's someone where it's a pure volume
14:23play. You said it. We're not all that sure of the receiving goodness there.
14:27And we don't even know if it's a great overall football player. We're just like volume, volume, volume. The one part where I disagree with calling someone
14:33like a Javvante in there is I think it needs to be like in a bad offense as well. I think Quinnon Junkkins is a
14:39perfect example of a dead zone running back play where I get where I go back and forth on Monty and I have like all
14:45offseason long. I might wake up tomorrow and love him and then wake up Friday and be back out on him.
14:51>> I don't know if the Texans offense is going to be sick, but that I know that defense is going to be amazing. And I
14:56think that in and of itself could help correct a bad Texans offense. You know what I'm saying? Like I don't see
15:02scenarios where the Texans are just getting blown out and Demon's getting game scripted out out of situations.
15:07>> Totally. I think that their their talent I still think is too good to ignore. But more importantly, they finally get to
15:15play the offense that they want to now that they added Marlon Klein and have a extra offensive lineman to rotate in and
15:21out with bulk tight end sets. This is what they've wanted to do. They've always wanted to play keep away, hammer a running back, and then allow like the
15:29natural talent of CJ Strad, Nico Collins to be hidden when they don't need them, but also uh to elevate them on fewer
15:36snaps. So, no. I I just think the Texans are like quietly a Super Bowl contender just because everything they have is is
15:44really like above average, especially in a a very poor division where we're expecting regression for both the Jaguars offense and defensive side of
15:52the ball.
15:53>> Plus 13% difference in their two tight end usage in the preseason versus 2025.
15:58That was the third highest mark of any team out there. So, definitely seeing more of that. Also got that for the
16:03Chargers and 49ers. more multi-tight formations. Obviously, can be coaching, can also be personnel. So, just a grain of salt, but interesting nevertheless.
16:12John, do you know how many passes Woody Marks caught during his five-year college career?
16:18>> God, if you ask me last year, yes, cuz I had drafted him everywhere in home leagues. And that's that's a that's
16:23another thing about, you know, the the dead zone or drafting us RB2 early.
16:27People don't realize how long the NFL season is. Like the championships I won in home leagues last year, this is a
16:32different format because this is a tournament. I get that. Um, but in home leagues when I'm only trying to beat nine or 11 of my friends, I like my
16:39running back twos were literally a combination of R.J. Harvey, Woody Marks, and Audrey Estto because like it's that easy. You find 20 [clears throat]
16:46touches on the waiverwire or you stash them and then you just start that guy and build a winning team. Uh, >> Abdullah went nuts in 2024. He was like
16:54the RV8 in the playoffs.
16:56>> You could find I'm telling everyone worries about it. You could It's so easy to find though. Um, I I can't remember
17:01what the number was. What was it?
17:03>> 20 61. Second most in the 21st century, dude. I've I've had it written down in my notes for different shows and every
17:10time I'm like, wait, let me double check this one real quick. 261.
17:15He couldn't run the ball. He didn't have a single game over 75 yards was the issue, which is why they brought in
17:20David Montgomery because they needed someone who was actually efficient runner. U but Woody Marks, you know, I do the one injury away tears for
17:28established the run where I highlight the most important stashes. Woody Marks is in tier one because obviously through the postseason whenever he returned from
17:37injury um he handled 16 and a half touches per game. Like he's already shown that he can start every single week despite the inefficiency with that
17:44team. So he's just a guy where I I do think it's overblown that people believe he's going to be in some kind of
17:50committee. I think it's all David Montgomery. Uh especially against like tougher teams. You know, you're you're you're playing by one score because your
17:57defense is so good. You're not giving the ball to Woody Marks. That's all David Montgomery. But what he marks is an elite stash.
18:04>> Drafting over here in the FFP streets with establishing runs finest Johnny Dagel. Entering round four now. First round we want Brock Bower. Second round
18:12Coulson Lovelin. Please for the love of God note this is tight end premium. That means we get extra points when our tight
18:17ends catch the ball. That's why we are doing this ridiculousness. Javvante Williams as our hero. RB in round three.
18:24Del was a little bit more willing to go wide receiver than I was. I do view this as a bit of a longer tier. Albe it we
18:30are seeing it get soaked up pretty fast.
18:31So still got a handful of picks between us. John gonna have probably one of these. We'll see. We'll see if a Kiran
18:40if a swift if a price if a deont makes it back to us. Are you inclined to start attacking wide receiver? What do you
18:46like in an ideal world to get an RB like with one of these next two picks?
18:50I think wide receiver I used to say well if DeAndre Swift comes back Dave Montgomery in the fifth
18:59round I used to say that even uh or with Cam Scataboo and Quinchon Juckkins they would be in this range but then um not
19:08only has their preseason run out not been that great. Those are also two individuals, you know, Ryan Heath at Fantasy Points has done a lot of good
19:15work this offseason. Great work. And one of the things he highlighted and then I went into it deeper was basically that
19:22the last four guys to return from Fibula Fractures, so that includes Quinnon Junkens and Cam Scataboo, they've averaged six and a half fewer points per
19:29game the following year because they come back as less explosive, less efficient players. So that's kind of the that's that's also again when you think
19:37about Scataboo and Juckkins and trying to tack them on as your RB1 and zero RB builds. They can actually kind of just
19:43get thrown into the dead zone if you want. You could very easily look back and say we should have easily faded
19:48these guys. And so now I've just been still attacking wide receiver heavily in that range.
19:54>> I'm with you, man. I'm sorry, guys. If I'm going to be using a top five pick on someone, I prefer it. In fact, I require
20:00your leg to have been in one piece over the course of the past 12 months. So, I feel like we just get lost in like the
20:05all right, he's going to be back there for week one. It's like, okay, I'm not objecting that, but is he going to be
20:10100%. Obviously had Tony Pard back when he was coming back from that injury saying back in like week 12 or 13 that
20:15that was the first time he actually felt out there at 100%. So, McConi, Burden, Higgins, all flying off the board again,
20:23wide receiver heavy here as we get into the mid parts of round four. Maybe just maybe get a running back falling, but if
20:29not, we are going to be looking at this receiver range. Where'd he fall out with the Mecca Ibuka, John? Cuz you know,
20:34hard to get exactly a great injury update from Todd Bulls. He's someone that certainly would be going more so in the early parts of round three a short
20:41month ago. Are we overrating this toe injury or is it a case of yeah, maybe don't chase this stuff.
20:46>> I understand the volatility in it, but I certainly think he's worth taking on everywhere still because volatility goes both directions. Uh Todd BS lied to us
20:56about Bucky Irving. He he's always been bad at his injury projections and timelines, but we still have two weeks until it matters for Mechco Ibuka and BS
21:07has called Ibuka both dayto day and week to week. Not sure which one it is because they're entirely different, but that also means that I could be out
21:14there healthy in week one and we just all forget about this by the time week two rolls around. So, I certainly want a
21:20player who I've flag planted who who I genuinely if he was fully healthy in week one. I think he outscores Jackson
21:26Smith and Jigba this year as well.
21:28That's the kind of upside that I'm going to chase every time. Just an an elite wide receiver who's already and going
21:34into year two who's already shown us he checks all the boxes and through week five uh was the wide receiver three in
21:40fantasy points per game. Like, of course, we're gonna chase that ceiling every time.
21:44>> Ted McMillan off the board. So, it sounds like, and I'm with you, I a bit of a tear break here. So, we'll see what
21:51team four does. I'm fine taking him.
21:53Does your attention go to Dave Montgomery? If not, >> do you think David Montgomery comes back or does the Nico Collins team stack that
22:02up?
22:03>> It's 5050. I have it as a bua and then Christian Watson, Parker Washington, Devonte Adams, Jameson Williams is my next best wide receivers.
22:13There goes a bua.
22:15All right, that's the nightmare. How >> it goes in these streets.
22:18>> I >> I I personally think David Montgomery and then we come back with one of these wide receivers. If he wanted to go two
22:26wide receivers, I'm open to that, too, because it's kind of all the same tier here.
22:32>> I think I I feel better when I get two running backs through five rounds.
22:36>> Okay.
22:36>> Whether or not how I feel in August is a great way to judge it is up for another debate. My only thought would be
22:44I I'm team Monty, I think, but definitely over Jarian Price.
22:49>> Oh, yeah.
22:50>> Not even close for you.
22:52>> Okay.
22:53>> I I still have major question marks about Jarian Price as a player.
22:59>> Like you you you know, we talk about jamming a running back into the dead zone just for touches. That's Jadenarian
23:05Price who you know has never 295 touches in his college career. five fumbles on that. Not to mention like one of the
23:12worst pass blocking running backs in the nation, let alone in this class. Um, and then when you talk about like he didn't
23:19earn targets. He didn't play it because he was behind behind Jam Jeremiah Love.
23:22Jeremiah Love was targeted at the highest rate on his routes in this class. Uh, Jarian Price was the second lowest rate in this class being targeted
23:28on his rates. So, even on a per route basis, Jarian Price could not earn targets. So, all we're doing is drafting
23:35him higher. And I'd be ignorant to say there's there's no competition. And I still don't want to draft him. There is
23:40no competition. So, I get jamming him up here. But other than that, I I do not get why he goes in this range at all
23:47because he's not that guy. He's not that kind of player.
23:51>> Not that >> at least from what he showed in college, the profile, it's not a good profile at all.
23:55>> It's also one of those things where, okay, he might smash early and I know, you know, Charmin is going to be missing
24:00the first chunk of the season, but he's not missing the entire season and we just saw last year. Then be very willing
24:05to split up those reps. would be surprised if again we're not seeing something close to 5050 regardless of how well Jarren is going to be able to
24:12play. So there's always the you know can you put the genie back in the bottle element but yeah I'm with you there. You
24:17know round six or something. Home league price is certainly easier to swallow. I will say price not as much in these
24:22streets.
24:23>> I'm very I definitely want to go wide receiver now. John I have Christian Watson as a top dog but man I will not
24:29be mad if you push for Parker Washington Adams and Jameson. Those are my four guys in a tier. I would like to take one
24:35of those unless you have some massive rebuttal and make me look stupid, which you know happens.
24:39>> If you want Watson, I'll go Watson because I'm in this range. I'm Mclloren, Jameson, and Watson.
24:45>> Okay, >> I like all of them. Well, there goes Jameson. That makes that a little easier.
24:50>> Let's go Watson.
24:51>> Um, yes, let's go ahead and go Watson.
24:55Totally fine with >> Watson.
24:58Awesome. Still that high on Terry. I'm just a I'm getting some I can't think of the weird word I wanted to say. So, I'm getting some bad
25:06feelings about the Washington Commander offense. John, >> are you? I I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet. I mean, we saw uh
25:14Jaden Daniels with a horrible offensive line in his rookie year and it didn't matter whatsoever. Terry McLaren still reach careerhigh in points per game.
25:21They had Debo Samuel. They're banged up last year. I get that. But even without Tonsil, I I still feel pretty confident
25:28about Jaden Daniels and McLaren's fantasy outlook. Maybe not the team outlook, but the fantasy outlook for sure. The one the one person I think it
25:35matters most for is Jakori Crosky Merritt, who now I just wonder like who's going to be out there pass catching because that's probably going
25:41to matter more um if they're constantly under siege. But I still love McLaren.
25:47>> Love my guy Scary Terry. It's just it's an offense that I'm not convinced is going to be great. Digs is his steepest
25:53sadly somehow his steepest target competition probably of his career at this point. I don't think CH is going to make too much of a difference. I just
26:01man O line we're expecting it to be bad.
26:04I know uh Brandon Thorne awesome offensive line rankings over at ETR. He dropped them down to I believe 22nd or so had him top 12 before the Laram Tonso
26:12injury. So we're not feeling good there.
26:15at the risk of putting too much into three snaps were a preseason performance. Watching Daniels immediately get pressured and sacked wasn't exactly what I wanted to see. And
26:23just man, some under the radar stuff with this play caller thing, man. Again, I don't want to just put too much behind
26:28the preseason things. I just don't love when we have the new David Blau play caller and it's like dead last in the
26:35NFL in the preseason. First and 10 pass play rate. The play action has taken a shot down as well. What if David Blau is
26:42just an atrocious play caller and the talent isn't really there? I think that's in play.
26:47>> It's definitely in play. I don't want to rule out that uh David Blau is suddenly going to be one of the best play callers
26:53in the entire league, but I do think everything he has said throughout the preseason, mind you, it was before the tonsil injury uh gives us a lot of
27:01confidence in Washington's offense. So, I'm still I'm still taking a big picture view of everything. I don't want to boil it all down to preseason. Uh that's why
27:09I worry about, you know, overanalysis of preseason. I don't want it to change my season long rankings all because we've seen this guy for three seen these guys
27:16for three plays now. So >> three plays than we had before, John.
27:21No, but you're 100% right. I hear you.
27:23>> I'm a I mean, no, I a lot of people a lot of people think about it similarly.
27:26I just I always I always say like you should be able to take in 99% and then ignore 98%. And so I I saw the
27:34preseason. I'm aware, but also uh I still like to play the big picture outlooks here. you just know this is a
27:41separate conversation. That's kind of how I feel about Christian McCaffrey, too. Like, uh, in home leagues, you know, after we've all had a few beers,
27:49it's like I get to the board and I'm like, doesn't shouldn't Saquon Barkley be here? Why am I forcing myself? Take
27:55Christian McAffrey when Saquon Barkley already showed he can easily outscore him and is in a arguably a better offense now with Shawn
28:05Manion. It's like I just I'd rather I feel more comfortable with Saquon Barkley, as crazy as it sounds, than Christian McCaffrey this year, too.
28:13>> We're under truth serum.
28:16>> The whole thing with CMC, and I've I know you've you've looked at the numbers, too, coming off these big touch
28:20seasons and the age and all that.
28:22>> We just don't see running backs that can catch a 100 passes. So, I think a lot of those numbers are irrelevant because CMC
28:28is basically a wide receiver who also gets some extra rushing yards. I hear you with the Saquon season, but then we
28:34also have last season where CMC's receiving production alone was more than Saquon hat total.
28:40>> Agree. Agree. But I still take Saquon everywhere. [laughter] >> All right, as we finish off round five here, the squad, Greg Dorsch, a wide
28:50receiver one, currently on the Bills practice squad. Just saying it's a good good landing spot. That's all I'm saying. Uh Brock Bowers at 103. It says
28:57tight end premium that I'll say for the 20th time and I'll probably say 20 more as we go. Brock Bars, Coulson Lovelin to
29:02be our full-time flex starter. We got the RB1 and RB2 jobs locked up with Jamonte Williams and David Montgomery.
29:07We were considering a Mecca Ibuka if you would have been there. Had a run of wide receivers though. Very much was kind of
29:12going with the tier break going off the guys we had. So didn't have anyone totally peing our interest. Decided to get Dave Montgomery and basically take
29:20the next best available wide receiver in our tier who happened to be Christian Watson. So rounding now into round six.
29:26probably John going to be doubletapping wide receiver here unless there's some running backs that you are especially interested in.
29:33>> Probably if if we go a different route with Javvante Williams go wide receiver.
29:37We're probably doubletapping running back. But >> right >> here we're going to be looking at wide receiver. Yes. Uh let's see Jaylen
29:45Warren's range because I I do like coming away literally every draft with Jaylen Warren who I do think is going to
29:50be one of those guys who competes as a fringe RB1 every single week now that Kenneth Gainwell's out the picture. And
29:55so I like to get >> I think Rico can split things up.
29:58>> He can. That's in his range of outcomes that Rico Dael uh definitely leads the team in touches. But even when even when
30:07Dowel was in when Chupa Hubard came back from injury, like Dael didn't have a double- digit target share his final month of the season when he it wasn't
30:15really a breakout, but the Cowboys Mike McCarthy finally trusted him. He didn't have a double digit target share. He's not really a receiving back where that
30:22that's what Jaylen Warren does. There were 289 routes last year that Jaylen Warren was on the field without Kenneth Gainwell and Warren's target share
30:31doubled to 16%. Uh it's mostly it's literally just a play where Aaron Rogers we know at this stage of his career
30:38won't get the ball downfield. He's going to continue targeting running backs as he's done at the seventh and third highest rate in the league the last two
30:44years. And so Jaylen Warren like is the key there uh to what to what Aaron Rogers does. Warren also an amazing pass
30:52protector too. He's good at everything.
30:55>> I just want to It's like a Packers wide receiver. I want to leave every draft with a Packers wide receiver and a
30:59Steelers running back. So, I do think Rico can make it a little bit closer.
31:03But, no, everything you're saying correct. I even uh quantified the old QB thing. I looked at all the, you know, 38
31:09plus year old quarterbacks to start 10 plus games over the last decade. I think there was 30 of them. I did 40 at first,
31:14but it was literally just Rogers, Breeze, and Brady. So, we got a little bigger sample. It was like 75% of the
31:20time their running backs were top eight in overall targets going there. So again, makes sense with our eyes and the numbers back it up as well. Plenty of RB
31:27targets in Pittsburgh and probably with the Jets as well given that Gino's getting up there and obviously Bree Hall has the skill set to do that. So best
31:36wide receivers I have on my board, Roma Dunay, Carnell Tate, Maserati Marv, Brian Thomas Jr., Quentyn Johnson. That said, it's a long tier,
31:47man. And if you want to say five other names, I don't necessarily think you're crazy. I'll still call you Superman.
31:52>> It It is a long tier, but also I hate a lot more players in this tier than I do like love. Like there's a lot of players
31:58where I'll just say that guy doesn't belong in this tier. I don't even care about his ADP. Uh so it makes it easier
32:04to rise four or five guys that I really do like. Especially if let's say Roma Dun comes back to us. We already have
32:10Colston Lovelin start a little bear stack would be fun. Um I Don Stribbling.
32:15This is the range he should go like over Marvin Harrison, Carnell Tate. So uh I love I love like quoteunquote overdrafting him.
32:24>> Yeah, I love all these guys here.
32:27>> And that is the spot where again as I've kind of come around more and more on scribbling just for more than anything
32:33seeing all the Do we know if Scribbling's good? Not necessarily. I mean you know there's reasons to definitely think he's good and
32:39everything. 33rd overall pick. Awesome preseason, but I know that Kendrick Bourne, that Richie James, that Jawan Jennings weren't anything special and
32:45that didn't stop them from putting us some stupid numbers in this Shanahan offense. So, Roma Dunce off the board anyway. Jaylen Warren also goes, so it
32:53doesn't look like we'll be looking at a running back here. Stribbling over Carnell Tate is just a play for the 49ers. And I don't hate that play.
33:03>> Stribbling Quinton Johnston or Marshon Lloyd, I think, is what we're looking at here.
33:10I think we got our running backs and we need some extra shots at wide receiver.
33:14>> Okay. Uh I like stribbling.
33:17>> I think we have a better chance of getting QJ to fall back >> because because for some reason Sila and
33:22I talk about this all the time. um the sentiment, the the outrage towards Quinton Johnson, one unjustifiable, two in insane that that's the actual like
33:33public opinion on him when he's a first round receiver who's literally gotten better and very good every single year.
33:39Like to think that Quinn Johnson won't be in two wide receiver sets or won't be good is insane because he was already
33:44showed last year he can outtarget Lab Makoni that's in his range of outcomes now playing with Mike McDaniel.
33:51So it's it works for us that everyone hates Quinton Johnston. We can take Don Stribbling.
33:55>> I just like the drop thing. It's It happened with the with Deontay Johnson the past two. Like we're just very
34:02peculiar about and selective about the guys we actually criticize with the drops. I mean we're talking about Malik Neighbors, Jameson Williams, Lab Makoni,
34:11Roma Dun. All these guys have very similar drop rates to Quinton Johnson.
34:14You would think the way he's discussed that he's like 10% worse than everyone.
34:18And maybe his rookie year he was, but it definitely hasn't been a problem over the three as a whole.
34:23That's uh it's because it's also because a lot of people like Trey Harris because they're they're too like baseballrained into thinking what matters for season
34:30long.
34:31>> When Trey Harris like when Quinton Johnson played, Trey Harris had a 13% route share. He couldn't even get on the
34:35field. Like I don't care about Trey Harris. [laughter] >> Through round six, we got Christian Watson and Deson Stribbling. Would love
34:44to get a little Quinton Johnson to fall back to us, but still some options otherwise. So like are you out? I mean,
34:49I know we're never out on anyone, but Carnell Tate is doing nothing for you. I do feel like it's pretty cheap for
34:54number four overall pick.
34:56>> Yeah, I mean, it it's doing absolutely nothing for me. Uh, I know people just blindly say, uh, rookie, you know,
35:05rookie, number four overall pick, yada yada, that should be the exception. We should always take that kind of player in this range. Maybe that's the case,
35:11but I just feel like he's the profile player that if he burns me, like, go ahead because it's not really anything
35:16I'm excited about personally. Uh, he was number one one too, man. Like it I I wouldn't damn the rest of his career if
35:23he's just like slow getting going in a bad offense.
35:26>> But that's the thing. It's like it's it's a questionable player in a very bad offense. One that we don't trust.
35:31>> Uh one of my favorite stats from the offseason from Rich Reebar really quick.
35:36Uh among the 34 first round receivers who average fewer than four reception per game for their career, 47% failed to turn in at least one wide receiver three
35:45or better campaign. so be a top 36 wide receiver and 59% failed to turn in a top 24 season or better. So like actually
35:54the odds are great that the profile of Cornell Tate failed to be a top 24 guy.
36:02Like it's actually the majority of the odds are leaning that way. And again I big picture draft I bucket draft um
36:09every year this time of the year. Um that's why I don't like to say like preseason performance. I'm just still looking at the big picture view of guys
36:16and the big picture view of Carninal Tate's not a good one.
36:20>> Casey Conception off the board. That would have been a name if we don't get QJ that I wouldn't have minded
36:25potentially pushing up there. One pick away. We're hoping it's QJ. They've got us a few times though, John. We're not getting our uh not getting any fallers
36:35in this one.
36:36>> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. We We have a talk here.
36:38>> Okay.
36:38>> We're not thinking Marshon Lloyd here.
36:40Really?
36:43It's not a bad idea.
36:44>> We start in week one. He's a starting running back.
36:48>> It kind of pushes back against both our guys who could be dead zone guys. As much as I love David Montgomery, as much
36:54as I hate Jabonte Williams, I understand the outlooks for both and the range of outcomes for both.
37:00>> Marshon Lloyd should have been gone a round or two ago.
37:04>> Pass catching running back Marshon Lloyd over Rico Dattle for you. Not Not really close.
37:09>> Oh, it's it's not close. It's Yeah, it's Marshall.
37:11>> Okay.
37:12>> Again, it comes it comes back to like I just kind of think about >> Thank God. I don't want to have that
37:17conversation. All right. Now, a real conversation. Quinton Johnston or stacking up the Packers with Jaden Reed.
37:24>> Let's go QJ.
37:26>> Okay, cool with it.
37:29>> Quinton Johnson, come on down. Reeves and I got QJ last week and it was right before uh he caught the, you know, 70
37:36yard touchdown her around the world. So, we were on the train before it was Q, before it was cool. Obviously, talking
37:42through some of the maybe not so not so relevant drop issues that a lot of people like to bring up with the guys.
37:47So, we now have our starting lineup set through seven rounds. Obviously, we'll get a quarterback, but man, we'll get quarterback whenever. They'll be there
37:53late. Trust us. Brock Bowers, tight end one, Coloulston Lin flex one. Javvonte Williams, Dave Montgomery holding down the RB spots. Christian Watson, Deson
38:01Stribbling, and Quinton Johnston, wide receiver one, wide receiver two, and the flex. reminder only got to start two wide receivers here. So that is a big
38:09thing that John I don't know that everyone puts as much emphasis behind it but because it's just like if you have
38:15three wide receiver spots like yeah we definitely would have made a bigger I think priority to get one inside the first four rounds but we only got to do
38:21two. Not that we don't want to have great wide receivers, but it just it makes it easier and more rational to be
38:28able to double tap tight end and tight end premium league >> in three wide receiver full PPR home leagues. Even that's when I'll go Puka,
38:36Chase, Jackson, the Jigba in that order.
38:39Uh I know a lot of people have Chase over Puka. I think that's just wrong, but Puka over Chase and then uh over
38:44Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor, Saquon Barkley, James Cook, that group of players just because like the the wide receivers should then we should
38:51start prioritizing. Mhm. [clears throat] >> Jamir Gibbs 101. No matter what, though.
38:56Fire. No matter what.
39:00>> You freaking I think you're We're in so many leagues together. I don't know if it is, but I uh one of these Superflex
39:06leagues. There's no worse feeling, John, than being in round two or round three and being like, "Ah, let me get my
39:11quarterback." And then you just watch like 10 straight teams after you take a quarterback not take a quarterback. And it's like, "All right, well, f you." And
39:18f you, too. And you as well. What is your usual superflex strategy? Like just get one within the first two and then
39:25play the board. I feel like it's such a unique format where almost every superflex draft I'm in is considerably different than the last.
39:31>> Well, the the cool thing about Superflex this year is that no one's projecting Kyler Murray and Malik Willis correctly.
39:38So like you could kind of build your drafts around those guys understanding they they probably will compete you know sporadically but even if they're a combo
39:46of your QB2 they'll probably compete weekly to be a top 12 guy just because of their legs and what they offer. And
39:53so um from the front I'll do hero quarterback build and then from the back I don't mind go ahead and getting a
40:00couple guys out of the way because then we start talking about the next tier of players after the uh elite quarterbacks.
40:07Uh so you can go like Justin Herbert for example. Justin Herbert and Jared Goff are two guys who even in six-point
40:12touchdown leagues those are the biggest risers. The Lions have the easiest schedule in the league projected uh they had the worst fumble luck. That's the
40:19big key last year too. So we're expecting more volume and more possessions since that's a stat that's not sticky at all and usually regresses.
40:25And so, yeah, the Lions are just poised to I I think I bet them to have the most wins in the NFL this year and then
40:31probably fall flat in the playoffs, per usual, but I think they're going to be the best regular season team this year.
40:36And so, I like getting a hold of Justin Herbert and Jared Goff in particular, but more importantly understanding you can wait for a lot of that next group of
40:44quarterbacks and pick apart other running backs and wide receivers in the meantime.
40:48As always, when you are trying to weigh on a quarterback, look at your draft board and just try to see again what
40:53team is between you and your next pick, actively have them. We are going to see some jokesters, you know, go ahead and
40:58take more than one quarterback out there, even earlier than they probably should. But just something to again give yourself a little more information,
41:05hopefully make the best pick possible.
41:07Little bit of a tight end run here.
41:08We've had Sam Leaporta, Harold Fannon, Isaiah Likely, KD, Kelsey, and Concaid go in round six and seven, which is music to our ears because it would be
41:16great to get two, I would say, of these.
41:19Maybe not necessarily two, one more wide receiver and probably a running back at a certain point here inside of our next
41:24two picks. But I feel like we managed, John, because it it's always going to be tough to feel incredible about your
41:29running back and wide receiver room when you use your first two picks on tight ends. I also think that we're going to
41:35show and guys, maybe this team does suck. All right, it's certainly possible. Every team we draft in August >> would love to be amazing, but they could
41:41suck.
41:42>> I do think, John, people have a hard time looking at a tight end premium draft, and our brains have seen
41:47thousands of drafts this year, and maybe 3% of them are tight end premium. So, when we see a squad like this with the
41:54two tight ends at the top, maybe not wired to exactly get the most realistic picture out of it, but that aside,
42:00Javvante Deont Watson Stribbling QJ filling out the rest rounds three through seven, I can live with that.
42:06It's a fun group. All flexible, all startable players so far. So, we don't really have any uh week one start set
42:14choices just yet, but a few more few more good players left on the board before we start having to like talk
42:20about stashes here.
42:22>> It is crazy how quick everything is going to dry up. Home league drafts. A little bit more room out there, which is
42:28nice. Again, got to do mine from Wrigley Field. Our idiot last place loser. John, they have one job. We've gotten rid of
42:34the punishments last couple years.
42:36Everyone's like, "Oh, I have kids. You know, I can't be an embarrassment publicly anymore, freaking losers." But anyway, no, don't lose the league if you
42:42have that big of a problem with getting your belly button pierced. I don't know.
42:45But anyway, the one job they have is to print out the draft board, get stickers, and be ready to go there. And this dude
42:51was trying to blame his wife, trying to blame the cleaning woman. Could not get the draft board. So, we had to scramble,
42:57go to like CVS, print out his own AI generated draft board, and we had to freaking write every single pick on the
43:04board like a bunch of charlatans out there. So, bad move by last place, but a great time drafting in the lovely city
43:10of Chicago.
43:11>> The worst the worst one, well, the best one, depending how you want to phrase it, I've been a part of uh and it was on
43:17me as the commissioner. I forgot to order the draft board that year and my friends are are way too boomers to pull
43:25up Sleeper and cast it on a TV. I've tried it. They don't understand it. They don't want to download Sleeper. It's not
43:31ever happening. So instead, my my best friend in the world, Sean, uh he gathered up the boxes of 30 packs. He
43:42taped them all together to make a to make a board. And then we had a Sharpie and we wrote on top of the boxes of 30
43:50packs that were taped to the wall to create a giant board. It was a disaster.
43:57>> I I like how you started it though. It could be the best or the worst story depending on how >> I had to enter in the results
44:03immediately manually because I knew that board wasn't making it past like another 12 hours. No way.
44:10>> Wand Robinson going off the board beginning of round eight. I did a video uh last week where I was just looking at
44:15guys who sharper leagues like this are drafting earlier than your home ESPN Yahoo sleeper platforms. I was surprised man. Juanale on average he went a little
44:24earlier here but he was going like wide receiver 43 and then on over in Yahoo I think it's like wide receiver 63. So
44:30full PPR I can see it though. And I mean, if you want to see an example of Juanale being Scandale and eating up
44:36enough targets to be a wide receiver, too, in a bad offense, don't need to go back too far to find that. John,
44:42completely agree. That's kind of no matter what Brian Dable does on offense, and we have questions whether it's going to be good. Uh, at least Cam Ward was a
44:52relative to his downfield throwing, uh, was a a better, I guess that's how to phrase it, a better passer closer to the
45:00line of scrimmage. That's where Wondo Robinson is going to eat. Perhaps his route tree changes a little bit, but I got to have my doubts. I think he's just
45:06going to be the same possession receiver that even in getting peppered targets, uh, he's just a comfortable, you know, wide receiver 34 every single week. His
45:15ceiling doesn't ever get any higher than that. But that's certainly startable in a full PPR format like this, especially when the bi-weeks roll around.
45:22>> Again, we all saw the Cowboys Giants game. Juan Dale did make a few catches downfield. I wouldn't >> the one it was literally as you know his
45:30careerhigh in depth the target and uh what was it a careerhigh in go routes like it was for one game with Russell
45:38Wilson. I don't know why it happened they literally changed up the way Wando Robinson plays football and then as expected because I had to write about
45:46this in the Waverwire being like you should not you should be wary of this Wando Robinson performance because it's not like anything ever that's happened
45:54in his career. And then of course the they he went back to being a possession receiver. I don't know why it happened
46:00that way. Maybe because it was the Cowboys.
46:03>> Yeah, it probably could have just been the Cowboys. Ebra Fliss's dumbass out there, but yeah. And then Neighbors got hurt and kept eating. So good for him.
46:09>> The fourth uh the fourth worst defense in NFL history uh per the Football Outsiders season preview Almanac that came out from Aaron Shots and those
46:20guys. like they were bad and and we're a couple Cowboys fans here, so we can give you maybe just a little bit biased
46:27insight, but also we did suffer through all this. They were bad and I didn't expect them to be good on defense. John,
46:32you looked at the depth chart, it's like these guys can't stay with them. The amount of just mental mistakes, the amount of wide open wide receivers, like
46:39I can live with a guy just getting beat.
46:41You're in the NFL, know your job. And obviously again with Eber Floss being the one pulling those strings >> had a little something to do with that
46:47there. But we are now four picks away.
46:51Jaden Reed just went off the board.
46:53Still do have Matthew Golden there. If we did want to build up a little bit of a Packer stack, I am not against that.
46:58Stefon Diggs, Josh DS, Mai Lemon, Jordan Addison. There's some there's some wide receivers here, John. I'm not saying they're going to be top 20 options or
47:06anything, but I can tell myself a story.
47:09We're definitely getting closer to where like tier breaks are becoming marginally wider and so we do probably need to come come away with one if not two here.
47:19>> I'm also looking at our range of running backs, but it's not necessarily something I'm I feel like I need right
47:26now either.
47:28>> Like you're saying, once we get by the time it gets back to us in round 10, the wide receivers are going to be pure
47:35speculative. Gosh, the quarterbacks are hilarious in a one quarterback league.
47:38Just Drake May, Joe Burrow, Jaden Daniels, Jaylen Hurt still on the board.
47:41Just insane.
47:42>> Don't look at them. Don't even look at them. [laughter] >> That's insane.
47:46>> Act like you're not even there, >> guys. I've been there. It's like, oh my god, Justin Herb in round nine and then
47:52you get to round 13 and you're like, why? How is Brock Perie still here? And you just get angry. But, you know,
47:57that's how it works.
48:00>> I still like Jaylen Herz though. I think Jaylen Herz is the one because he usually goes last. For some reason,
48:04people don't like Jaylen Herz. No idea why. Uh, everyone's still letting Kevin Patulo decide how they treat the Eagles this year, which is not fair to them.
48:13>> Hey, round 10, we can talk. Not right now.
48:16>> No, no, no, no. I'm not even saying let's draft Jaylen Herz because Jayen Herz will go, he could bald like all the
48:21way to the 10th or 11th round.
48:23>> Exactly. Exactly.
48:26>> However early you think you should draft a quarterback, wait and then wait a little bit longer. There goes Courtland Sutton.
48:32I love when you're marking guys off on your sheet and then like you're you're like, "All right, Courtland Sutton, maybe maybe I should consider him here."
48:39And then you look up and he went four rounds previously. But we are on the clock. Johnny boy, what wide receiver
48:45you like?
48:47>> I would listen to Josh DS, but I do think Matthew Golden is probably the the better play here. Josh DS would have
48:53been my pick previously if Keen All Non didn't sign there. I think everyone's underestimating how good of a player Keane Allen was the last two years on
49:00two separate teams and earning targets.
49:01Not to mention, he knows Shane Stiken's playbook, so he pretty much drowns out Josh Downs and two wide receiver sets.
49:06The Alec Pierce injury though could get DS back out there.
49:10>> Thoughts on Diggs?
49:14>> Um, on a per round basis, still fine last year, still good. Uh, I think Terry McLaren still the superior target earner
49:21is my my concern here. [sighs and gasps] I like Matthew Golden to both those guys. Do you think Golden comes back
49:29though?
49:31>> I don't know. That's the question.
49:33>> You like Downs? You like Digs over downs?
49:36>> I like Downs. Can we go downs?
49:37>> Yes, let's go downs.
49:40>> Cool. I feel like >> we're still back.
49:45>> Questioning that. I I don't think Keenan helps necessarily, but I don't think it's going to drive Downs into being a
49:51nothing burger either. By the way, Kenan, please don't drink and drive or park and drive or park and drink, whatever the hell was going on with that
49:58situation. A little disclaimer there for all you kids watching. But look, it's one big tier. I know you're not as high
50:06on Dicks as I am. That's okay. Not I mean, he's my wide receiver, 39, so I can't exactly say I'm high on the guy as
50:11well. I think Josh Downs a wide receiver four is fine. We were getting pushed up a little bit. That seemed a bit
50:16irresponsible, but still a good football player. The downfield stuff, and I was going to bring it up at Wale, too. It's
50:22like downs can do it, sure, but it's also probably not a great idea to to pepper your 5'8 180lb receiver with a
50:28bunch of targets 30 yards downfield. So, let's let's chill on that storyline a little bit.
50:33>> Yeah, I I still, like I mentioned, I'm like the Alec Pierce injury timeline still doesn't sound great. Sounds like we're still going to get like at least a
50:40month at least a month of him like ramped up if not you know not playing.
50:45And the bull case for Pierce was that he was gonna have this new big role since he got paid all this money and he's had
50:50zero time to even learn some of that stuff. So now you bring in Keenan to replace Pitman. Dude, I wouldn't be
50:55shocked if it's pretty much the same old same old, but Keenan just not getting as many targets as someone like Pitman
51:00would. So I think Downs in full PPR is perfectly fine there. We'll see if team two is going to snipe us again.
51:06Otherwise, we'll be down to go with uh Mr. Matthew Golden.
51:11Golden similar to Jaden Reed and Christian Watson, we're just eliminating the targets and routes for Romeo Dubs and Dontavon Wixs. It is only three guys
51:20now.
51:21>> There goes Bill.
51:22>> And there is Matthew Golden for us. It is only three guys.
51:25>> Thus, uh, three guys without Josh Jacobs. Most likely leads to a Packers pass heavy offense with Jordan Love who's been very good, extremely
51:36efficient whenever he's had everyone healthy, including like rack tech with Zack Tom. That was the big one last year. Or the splits were massive in his
51:43favor for being a heavier passer and more efficient. So yeah, I like all those.
51:48>> Matthew Golden locking in.
51:49>> Yeah.
51:50>> Last thing.
51:52>> We got a little bit of time. Matthew Golden over Mai Lemon.
51:58>> Yes.
52:00>> I'm cool with that.
52:02>> Matthew Golden, come on down. Mai is going to go before he gets to us, but if there was a chance of people being a
52:09little concerned, more concerned they should be about the preseason. You never know. You never know. All right. Now, with five wide receivers, Christian
52:16Watson, Don Stribbling, Quinton Johnson, Josh D, and Matthew Golden. We have fulfilled everyone, one of my rules.
52:22Five wide receivers in the first nine rounds of your fantasy football draft.
52:26Didn't leave uh any room there, John.
52:28Had to take them every single one.
52:29Rounds five through nine. But again, that's life when you're getting two tight ends to start. and a TE League.
52:34Plus got our two running back spots figured out with Javvonte Williams and Dave Montgomery. So the one of the reasons too why we wanted to double tap
52:42receiver there. Talked a little bit about Cororey Crosky Mayor and him not being someone we're maybe quite as high on as we were even a few weeks ago. And
52:49there was still an RJ Harvey Blake Cororm conversation to perhaps be had.
52:52But man, looking at my wide receiver list right now, Michael Wilson just went off the board. I see Stefon Diggs, Mai
52:59Lemon, Jordan Addison, maybe Xavier Worthy, and then it's just a cliff, man.
53:08>> It is a fairly big cliff. Rashid Jahed's a guy who could earn a higher target share this season.
53:16>> Um, you know, you talked about Trey Tucker.
53:20Keenan Allen I think is a legitimate like Wandel Robinson pretty much where you can plug him you can plug him in and
53:25expect a top 36 finish. It's totally fine. You're not going to get a ceiling but totally fine to play him.
53:31>> After that it gets ugly. I I do like to be somewhat especially in a two wide receiver format. I like to be wrapped up
53:36at wide receiver pretty soon here and just then pick apart like one more tight end quarterback.
53:43>> Uh go from there.
53:45>> Again only need to start two. One of our flexes is 100% going to be Coulson Lovelin each and every week out. So we
53:51really only have three wide receivers that 99% of the weeks. Well, okay, that's not quite one out of 17. So other
53:59than the by-weeks that Bowowers and Leland have, we are going to be starting three wide receivers. So being a little bit weaker there, be being a little more
54:06shallow on the bench is fine by me. Joe Burrow and Jaden Daniels off the board as we continue to flow through round
54:12nine. You're right though about Herz hanging out. It is funny again being through these drafts and seeing the QBs who slide. It's always hurts out of the
54:19top group. And then it's Brock Perie Dagel. No respect for Mr. Brock Pertie in these streets.
54:24>> Uh who already showed he's can be uh the top six quarterback in points per game around his entire team getting injured
54:30and now you know maybe his team is injured going into week one. We're all still waiting on injury reports here.
54:35>> But at least for right now at full strength like Brock Pie's already an individual he's shown that he elevates the talent around him. So Brock Pury
54:44very easily like one of those confident guys who who probably outscores both Caleb Williams and Matthew Stafford despite being drafted ahead of him. I
54:52think I think kind of think Tyler Shuck is like that too that could rival as a a low-end QB1 because he has the legs and
54:58a Kell Moore offense that we got everything we wanted out of Kell Moore last year. Yes, [snorts] it would have been more helpful if we had Jordan Tyson
55:05for the entire season, but Tyson also, it sounds like we're looking at, you know, week six to eight when they return
55:10from Paris mid-season and he comes back.
55:13So, Tyson's still also draftable within that Saints offense. You just have to understand the kind of builds you have if you don't have an IR slot that you
55:19can hold them on.
55:21>> Need the IR spot. Really good though for keeper leagues. Although, I had uh we were going back and forth a little
55:27bit um on Twitter, John. I liked your addition there, too, just about not even taking a defensive kicker, getting Tyson, moving him in your IR spot, and
55:33then picking up whatever you need there.
55:35But someone hit hit me back with the like, "Oh, they have Tyson. You can keep him." They're like, "Yeah, you can even
55:39keep him in your IR spot again next year," which uh I thought was pretty good one.
55:44>> That's a good one. [gasps] >> Mark Andrews and Jawan Johnson off the board. Wide receivers have pretty much died up, man. Worthy is the last one I
55:54have. I don't feel good about it.
55:59No, I don't feel don't feel good about it at all. Uh, you know, he's the opposite of Javvante Williams though, right? Where last year somebody they
56:06were trying to jam him in the third, fourth round on us and we were like, this guy couldn't earn target until
56:10Rasheed Rice got off the field. Why do I want Xavier Worthy uh at that price and now he falls to to this range instead.
56:18>> He got that little shoulder injury which wasn't great to start, but there's no reason I don't think there's any limitations in week one. We heard Reed
56:25talk about them taking a lot off of Worthy's plate when he had the injury last year. We could see a little bit
56:31more underneath stuff.
56:34At the same time, expecting the 130 lb wide receiver to not be banged up. Might be a little bit wishful thinking. And
56:42like if we're sitting here in week eight and Cyrus Allen's just straight up playing over Xavier Worthy, I'd be surprised. I wouldn't be that surprised.
56:49And that concerns me.
56:52>> Yeah. And gosh, the Patrick Mahomes conversation, it's it's a weird one because he's not really a player I trust in fantasy either. Like the the past two
57:00seasons before last year, he was a QB 13 and QB1 in points per game. Everyone knew you just didn't start Patrick
57:06Mahomes. You streamed him. Um he was overdrafted. Last year he averages a careerhigh and rushing points per game, 5.1. Um and then he tears his ACL. So
57:15we're not going to get that again either. So now we're talking about Patrick Mahomes once again going back to droppable or streamable territory.
57:23Like I don't know, man. It's it I know it's really weird to talk about the greatest quarterback we've ever seen like not being usable in fantasy, but
57:30that's kind of what the offense has been historically. Maybe Kenneth Walker opens everything up and makes it easier.
57:37Just seems a little doubtful. I'm with you. Again, he's so cheap. Once we get to a certain point in drafts, it's tough
57:43to talk [ __ ] about anyone, particularly someone to John's point, the greatest quarterback we've pretty much seen in the post TB12 era. I just think people
57:51pretending like he's a smash pick, no doubter, probably being a little bit too confident in uh your line of thinking.
57:57But again, we'll see what goes down with it. Quarterback run here though, Justin Herbert, Jill Herz, and Caleb Williams off the board. I'm fine passing John. If
58:06anything, this just gives me confidence that we're going to be able to get someone to come back to us. The team
58:10with Jaden Reed took Caleb Williams. I know that doesn't mean they can't take Jordan Love, but I feel he's better about getting Jordan Love to fall back
58:17to us now that that other rival drafter already has someone. And the Tucker Craft team is there though, so that would be the other one. But could just
58:25be overthinking things as well. Three picks to us. What are you looking at?
58:31>> It's probably too early for the injured wide receivers because I I I think this build is fine for Jordan Tyson like we
58:36talked about. Mhm.
58:37>> Um, running backs like I' I'd start considering Shawn White, Mike Washington here, Katon Mitchell as well.
58:48We don't need Jordan Love yet.
58:52Yeah. What are you thinking besides that? Cuz we also saw, you know, Alec Pierce Kungai go.
58:59>> There goes T L. Freaking take him. I have Rashad White as my best running back and I got Xavier Worthy as my best
59:06wide receiver. Man, >> which one do you prefer?
59:12>> We only have two running backs right now.
59:16>> We should probably go Rashad White.
59:18>> I think Rashad White. I think there's a tear break after Rashad White, too.
59:22>> They pause things.
59:26Why is this frozen?
59:28>> I'm not frozen. So, >> all right. Can you handle this? Yes. I'm gonna go Rashad White.
59:33>> Cool.
59:34>> No, I cannot handle it because it's frozen. [laughter] Hold on. Let me Let me go back in real quick.
59:42>> Oh boy.
59:44>> I have them I have them queued. Don't worry.
59:52Let me jump on the chat.
59:55>> Yeah, I just said frozen. This is >> Oh, did you? Okay.
60:02We like white over >> problem.
60:04>> Oh, there it is. Okay, we're good now.
60:05>> All right, cool.
60:06>> All right. Like we like white over Mike Washington right?
60:09>> Yeah.
60:10>> Okay.
60:11>> Right. Because I mean White could be the guy. He could be Austin Eckler plus and Jakori is still working through
60:16something and like you said, if they're that bad, White's going to probably be needed more in pass down stuff. It's close. All right. Like I have Bill
60:24ranked just ahead of him, but we're getting White around later.
60:27>> Oh, no. I I have I've had JKR Crosky Meritt ranked over White the entire time. I'm still very confident in that,
60:33too. A secondyear running back who we get a discount on compared to last year, but again, we're talking about uh range
60:40of outcomes. So, maybe the tackle injury, like I mentioned earlier, matters most for Rashad White out there as a pass catching back. Also, it's kind
60:47of it just seems like, you know, a week if we're struggling at running back, it's free points because he does catch
60:52passes.
60:54>> Indeed, that sometimes. So again, just our third running back being picked.
60:58Rashad White, David Montgomery, Javvante Williams. Just just pure electric talent in our RB room. Dagel. [laughter] >> It's uh it's not the most explosive
61:09running back room so far. I'll give him that.
61:12>> One of the running back rooms of all time, you might be able to say. We could add a little spark plug to it with
61:17someone you have in the queue. Katon Mitchell.
61:21>> I mean, we have Mike.
61:23>> Mike Washington's the pick first, though. Yeah.
61:25>> Yeah. Washington Jonah Coleman. Uh there you go.
61:27>> Excuse me.
61:28>> Uh and I know by the way like uh Brad Northcut, he's picking 10. He he DM'd me said, "Hey, are you drafting with Ian
61:35anytime soon?" I said, "Actually, we just joined the Friday or the Tuesday."
61:40>> And so he he actually jumped in at 101 now. He got Gibbs. So he's the one sniping us. I know him.
61:47>> Well, we are recording this. As much as I would love for all you to see us draft live, I don't know. I just feel like you
61:53guys actually get a better experience like when we can be free talking when it's the whole like I have three guys in
61:58mind but I don't want to mention them right now cuz we're not on the clock yet and I don't want to get sniped. I don't
62:03think that's the best content possible but I'm open to suggestions otherwise I want Mitch over Jonah Coleman D. I'm putting my foot down.
62:12>> Oh Woody Marks though. Woody Marks is we already have Montgomery but you know >> uh no I I I like Katon Mitchell. It
62:19sounds like he has a very slight hamstring injury. Um, but he will be ready for week one and that's really all
62:26that matters to me. Kamani Vidal, even when he was starting for Amarian Hampton last year, he I think he was literally
62:33like 50 among 58 players in target per route run like just couldn't earn targets either.
62:38>> Um, you know, as a day three running back. So Katon Mitchell, of course, I love Katon Mitchell.
62:46>> He's the opposite of our running back room.
62:48We need a little Katon Mitchell in the picture here.
62:51>> We do. We need We need someone who can, you know, actually bust 10 yard run for sure.
62:55>> Let's get it. Katon Mitchell, come on down. All right, there we go. Dolan Schulz went before and so did Brentton
63:02Strange. Again, watching people trying to play a little bit of catch-up there at tight end. Not these guys. We got the
63:06two best ones in the league in my occasionally wrong opinion. Rashad White, Kian Mitchell, joined Dave Malover and Javante Williams. just just
63:14one of again the better or just one of the running back rooms that you'll see out there. Hopefully these guys don't
63:22take second quarterbacks, John. That's kind of position we're in right now.
63:25>> Gosh, are they going to take a second quarterback in a one quarterback league?
63:29That's so disgusting. I hate when >> people do, man. I can't relate to it, but you know, >> I get it if it's bare out there and
63:38there you just understand there won't be anything. But otherwise, I think it's a pretty bad strategy.
63:46>> Dallas went way up there, I'm assuming.
63:52>> Wow. Chicks though still on the board.
63:56>> Yeah, I think that that's the one that Stefon Diggs really hurt the most. I was really high into Chig and then the
64:02signing really >> dampened my outlook.
64:06>> I got off him a little bit there, too. I mean, he could still >> Yeah, Concaden likely are the guys I
64:14would have liked to see.
64:16Again, only got the Bills for a little bit with Concade, but the fact he was still splitting it, I don't know, man. I
64:22feel like they want to play him in a bigger role. And honestly, when he's going borderline [clears throat] tight one, that's basically what he finished
64:29as last year anyway. So, you're drafting him closer to the floor. That's one of uh isn't concave on Silva's kind of flag
64:35plants.
64:36>> Yeah. Uh he loves conc. And I I've been getting a lot of conc just because in home leagues when you miss out it's
64:42always a temperature sh. It's a lot more complicated than last year when I said uh draft McBride over Bowers because they had a round and a half two round
64:50difference between them. So it just made sense >> and then you could wait you could skip everyone and then just wait till the end
64:57and grab one of >> Dallas Goddard Tucker Craft Jake Ferguson and Jawan Johnson and all those guys hit big. Uh it's a lot more
65:05complicated this year. That's why I've said it's Bowowers for me and then Lovelin over McBride when you when you bake in both of their cost
65:13>> and then after that I'm temperature checking Kyle Pittz, Sam Laaporta, uh Dallas Goddard and Isaiah likely. I'm just always checking back in to be like
65:22where are these guys going? Where's their range? Because like it varies everywhere. Sam Laaporta goes over Kyle Pittz and Tucker Craft sometimes. Kyle
65:29Pittz falls three rounds sometimes. You just always have to be looking where they are. So you don't like 33y old tight ends coming off torn Achilles.
65:37That's not your thing.
65:39>> No. Who Who are you talking about?
65:40George KD?
65:41>> Yes.
65:42>> No, it's not not my thing. Would not be shocking. Love George KD as a human being. Would not be shocking if he
65:47bounced back, but like he's not even in in a reddraft format. There's no chance.
65:51I don't need to risk that.
65:53>> Again, maybe he smashes. I I very much admit I could be wrong there. It's just the fact that gets glossed over so
66:00quickly. It's like, well, it wasn't it was it was the Achilles tear that wasn't as bad as the other Achilles tear. I'm
66:05like, what happened this year?
66:07>> And the last couple years with AJ Brown at the field, Dallas Goddard, like he in yards per outr run and target share, his
66:13numbers have ranked second among all tight ends. And I'm not saying that means he's going to be the tight end, too. But like Dallas Goddard is
66:19definitely in a in a reraft format definitely a top 12 guy rather than all these other guys people are telling me
66:25are low-end tight end ones. Like no chance over Dallas from Jaylen Herds. No chance. Um, same thing like if you miss
66:31out on Dallas GD and Daltton Concaid, then you just wait because like the doors kind of open for Jawan Johnson and
66:37uh Dalton Schultz too without Jaden Higgins, without Jordan Tyson. It's not pretty. But you can start Jawan Johnson who's going to be like a top six guy in
66:45week one against Detroit. You just pick him up and start him and then stream from there.
66:49>> And look, this is a tight end Premium League, guys, where you're going to see them competing for flex spots. So, so
66:55it's definitely going to be different than your home leagues where you can very much wait and I'd be surprised, you know, if Dallas Cotter probably isn't
67:00going to be there for you nine times out of 10 because this is tight end premium though, Johnny. I would not mind tacking
67:06on one more tight end later and his name is Michael Mayer. Yeah. Yeah.
67:12>> Even though we have Brock Bowers, I completely agree. Uh in my 32 team guillotine league tight end premium, Michael Mayer is my tit one for week
67:20one. because he's gonna have he's gonna have 60 yards a touchdown against the Dolphins. You put you even wrote up the
67:26article about preseason analysis and the Raiders led the Raiders Raiders led the preseason in two tight end usage, right?
67:32>> They use a ton of it. They were top three at number one.
67:34>> I feel like Ian Thomas was out there every single play I looked up because I watched a lot of the Raiders. Uh yeah,
67:40Michael Mayer is the wide receiver. It's not Trey Tucker. Michael Mayer is the wide receiver too there. So Clint Kubak is going to get them both involved
67:46heavily. It's one of those things where they ran a lot of it last year as well and then you look at their depth chart
67:52and you're like why would they not run more of it this year as well. So yeah, Michael Mayer, Brock Bowers should both
67:57be there. It's just one of the rare handcuff tight end situations and look it was funny with Reeves. It was like
68:03should we uh consider this handcuff? And he's like are we [ __ ] And I was like all right well that's a [laughter] fair
68:09fair retort right there and I get it but man when it's like round one versus round 19 like okay I'll go ahead and get
68:15the handcuff at that point. Jonah Coleman off the board. I am not on Coleman. I'm not on any Broncos running back because I think all of them are two
68:22injuries away from actually being someone that's worth a damn. I saw you had him in the queue though, Johnny. So, if you have a Jonah Coleman uh
68:28propaganda pitch you like to spread, here's your chance.
68:31>> It's an ambiguous backfield that I like taking my shots on. Uh JK Dobbins won't play the passcatching role. We know
68:37that. RJ Harvey still did that whenever Dobins was healthy. Uh and so blindly at at discounts if you just zoom out and
68:45say usually we know like a breakout target profile is a secondyear receiving back that's RJ Harvey and he goes super late. So I've been adding RJ Harvey just
68:56as like a blleh ninth or tth round pick because he's always there. I'll take a dip on a player since I hate ADPs. I
69:01don't hate players. And then Jonah Coleman. Jonah Coleman is the real deal though. Like 6.8 yards per carry at 20 20 years old. um 80 catches on 90
69:09targets the last two years. Uh his 1.75 yards per route run last season was second in this class only behind Jeremiah Love, the number three overall
69:17pick. Like Jonah Coleman is a special receiving back player, so the profile fits what we usually target. But it probably will be a slow burn just like
69:26Nick Singleton if you actually can start him. And so I I don't mind tacking him on here as like a RB5 or six whenever
69:33he's there.
69:36The ambiguous backfield part is true.
69:38And you know what? When the price is this low, I hear you to at least some extent. And also, I don't think R.J.
69:43Harvey is particularly great. So, could be another chance for him just to take over. Has that three down skill set we
69:48look for. Tank Bsby, unfortunately, off the board. He is one of these players that you guys are not drafting enough.
69:54He's still under 30% over in the ESPN streets. I think he's 35 in Yahoo, but again, one of the highest handcuff
70:01highest upside handcuffs out there. As is Ray Davis. I really don't think there's much of a difference, but for some reason Ray Davis doesn't get to
70:07doesn't get to sit at the cool kids handcuff table, John. And for the life of me, I don't know why.
70:13Agree. He's right up there. We've already seen the one game James Cook missed. Ray Davis out touched Ty Johnson 23 to four. Uh Ty Johnson plays the more
70:23complimentary role because that's the kind of player he is and Ray Davis is James Cook. So they can't get Ray Davis
70:30is on the field whenever James Cook plays. But the second James Cook is out, as they already shown, do not think for
70:36even one minute that it's going to be Ty Johnson's backfield. Doesn't work like that. Ty Johnson can't handle eight touches. It's going to be Ray, all Ray
70:43Davis. And we even got a not perfect data point. It was week 18, but they didn't really play James Cook at all
70:50week 18 last season. And Davis again had 23 touches and again did good things with him. I know they didn't use him as
70:55much on offense last season, but still the reigning defending, undisputed first team allpro kick returner of the NFL.
71:02Not too shabby of stuff from again Mr.
71:04Ray Davis. Also stands up like Ashton Genty in the backfield. Formerly the Nick Chub stance, which I appreciate.
71:11>> We got a couple running backs here that that after waiver cuts day, uh it became clear who were the primary backups.
71:21>> Yep. And so >> I think Taj Spears is the best one right now just because he can still give us
71:27something close to standalone. And they were using him interestingly enough where I don't know if it could be Buffaloy. He could be Tai Johnson, but
71:35he it might not. He could be Marshon Lloyd.
71:37>> See, I I prefer waiting on Nick Singleton to Taj Spears. Like I know what happened in the preseason anyway.
71:43So >> think think about how uh poor Tony Pard has played the last two years and like Taj Spear still couldn't lap him on the
71:50depth chart. That's always like a real big concern.
71:53>> It's true. Rashisha Heat's sitting there though and the wide receivers are like if we don't take him, we might not take
72:00one.
72:02>> I'm cool with being done at wide receiver here. Like >> you don't want Shahed, man.
72:06>> No, no. I mean taking one more than being done.
72:08>> Oh, cool. Yeah. Can we make that one?
72:10Rash Shahed.
72:11>> Yeah. Rashid over King Allen. I'm fine with that. Yeah.
72:14>> Yeah. We have downs. So awesome.
72:19Don't don't usually take wide receivers late but when I do Rashid Shahed just like that most interesting man in the world commercial. So tacked on our six
72:27wide receiver Christian Watson the Stribbling Quinton Johnston Josh DS Matthew Golden Rashid Shahed. I can live with that. Now we're going to have a
72:35chance to probably get one of these handcuff running backs. Ray Davis Kayn Black Dylan Samson. Johnny's got Emma Johnson in the queue. I would feel so
72:43much better about Emma Johnson if Kareem Hunt signed anywhere John. But until he does, I can't help but think he's the
72:49real handcuff in Kansas City or at least enough of a nuisance that they would sign him if something happened to Kenneth Walker.
72:56>> I mean, they they have enough confidence in Johnson to to cut Amari D Marcato who now goes with the Cowboys. So,
73:03>> yeah. I just worry that's for pass down stuff. I I honestly don't know why considering Kenneth Walker and Brashard Smith's like limitations. I don't know
73:11why Kareem Hunt is on the roster right now. It'd be annoying for us to deal with, don't get me wrong, but
73:18>> I like I like Dylan Samson a whole lot, too.
73:22>> He's got some uh borderline erotic receiving metrics, getting all his >> fans. And the more you start thinking about like Quinchon Judkins perhaps
73:29being slow out the gates, recovering from injury, a Todd Duncan offense that's going to pass the ball a lot, uh Dylan Samson makes a lot of sense.
73:38>> Charbnet still on the board. I'm not too interested. We don't have an IR spot.
73:46>> Do we need We don't need Jordan Love yet, right? He falls another round, >> I think. So, yeah, >> there goes Kaylin Black.
73:54>> Every team except Oh, no. They have Josh Allen. Every team between us has a quarterback.
73:59>> Okay, I think we're good then.
74:00>> If we don't get Jordan Love, I mean, Jackson, Jackson Dart just went. Bon Knicks is still on the board. Golf,
74:06Stafford, >> it'd probably be Kyler Murray. We We would make it happen. We'd make it happen.
74:11>> I can live with that. Ray Davis.
74:15>> I'm go with Ray Davis. We're We're between EMTT Johnson and Ray Davis right now, right? Or Yeah.
74:20>> Well, >> you don't like to handcuff either, right?
74:24>> I don't want Malik yet.
74:25>> Okay. Let's say this. This is also now become Malik territory. I know the ADP doesn't show that. This is now Malik
74:31territory too.
74:32>> Let's go Ray Davis. Cool.
74:33>> Rav is fine.
74:35>> I'm not against handcuffing at the right price. It's like my one of my buddies in our stupid A team home league. He double
74:44tapped at the turn Jordan Mason Aaron Jones. That's what you should not be doing cuz one of those picks is not
74:49going to reach the >> paying mid round price for both running backs. Yeah.
74:52>> Yes. [laughter] >> No.
74:54>> That's when I don't want to handcuff when it's Javvante we got in round three and then Malik in like round 15. Okay,
74:59that's enough of a gap because then you look it's the opportunity cost. Round 15, Malik Davis if we can still get him
75:05there. I look at the other wide receivers and players and I'm like, you know what, I'm okay with that.
75:11There goes Charbanet.
75:16Kenan Sadique Rams defense off the board is the first one. Are they your DST one, John? Because they're mine.
75:22>> Uh, yes. Even though I doubt Aaron Donald's going to go to Australia. Like, he just signed with the team. There's It doesn't
75:29make any sense for him to take that flight uh for only 24 hours, too. So, I bet we don't see Aaron Darnold till week
75:35two and then um Texans after that. But like I'm I'm also I'm usually a proponent of just waiting cuz like I I I
75:43think I can find better matchups every week than than overdrafting a defense.
75:49>> Let's say we get a little lucky here and no one takes a quarterback.
75:56Do we double tap? I don't really want to just roll in with Jordan Love. I believe in Jordan Love. like Jordan Love, but at
76:02this point in the draft, I feel like we should click two. Or am I being am I being soft? You can say it.
76:09>> I'm okay with two. Uh, we have to see who comes back to us.
76:14>> Kyler and Jordan would be sick. Like, give me like an up Give me an upside shot and then Jordan Love. Not that
76:20Jordan Love doesn't have upside.
76:22>> Uh, G golf and Jordan would be sick, too.
76:26>> Yeah.
76:27>> Like I don't I don't in reddraft. I don't care if it's a naked quarterback.
76:30Like it helps that it's rushing if it's naked, but I think golf and love uh love and Malik Willis is probably the
76:37worst case scenario. And that's a fine worst case scenario to have.
76:42>> Even Darnold, man, I think the Seahawks are pro all the stuff that we talked about with um Jordan Love and the Packers passing over
76:50like shouldn't that apply to Seattle, too?
76:53>> Yeah. I mean, I'm still a little bit worried though about Clint Kubak. Like the the one mistake we all made so many
76:59times last year was saying, "Well, yeah, like uh John Morton, he he saw already saw Ben Johnson. He's just going to do
77:04the same thing." It's like, "Bro, John Morton lost a job eight weeks in because he did the exact opposite of Ben
77:09Johnson." [laughter] Same thing for Nick Kaye coming over from Shawn McVey.
77:12Learned absolutely nothing. Same thing from Kevin Patulo watching Shane Stiken and Kell Moore. Learned absolutely nothing. Like the one thing last year
77:19taught me was that actually these guys don't learn a thing sometimes. Uh and that ruins the whole offense. So, I'm really worried about Sam Darnold this
77:27year. Career high career high in yards per attempt when Click Kubak now he goes away like uh Mike McDonald. Mike McDonald is the man. If he has his
77:35finger on the pulse of everything through that organization, then the offense will stay very similar, but >> there's definitely a little bit of a
77:42reason to be concerned.
77:43>> I was a little bit I was a little bit uninspired with their uh OC choice.
77:48Brian Flurry, tight [snorts] end coach for the 49ers over the years. Like I I would have felt better if we promoted
77:54from within and then it's like all right well you just spent last year running the offense. Just do that again. Not
77:59that he maybe he can't come over and maybe he does he'll be the next Kyle Shanahan dude who's doing good things
78:05but didn't love it. John, >> I agree. You know, at least he you know you can't say he really worked with Sam
78:12Darnold because he was a tight end's coach, but like at least he had conversations in rooms with Sam Darnold when they were with the 49ers together.
78:19Like I don't know how else to to discuss that situation.
78:23>> We did see Bon Nicks go off the board.
78:25Oh, and there's Jared Goff. Stop. Stop.
78:28Everyone, relax. You don't need to do this.
78:32>> No one No one else needs what? The Tucker Craft team could maybe draft him.
78:36No one else needs Jordan Love but us.
78:39>> Tucker Craft team has freaking Josh Allen, I think. Screw.
78:44>> Oh, well then in that case, that guy is fine.
78:46>> Yeah, you're good. Don't even draft the second quarterback. You have Josh Allen.
78:51Definitely not biased over here or anything like that. That's all right. We still got Matthew Stafford, Kyler Murray, Jordan Love. It is drying up
79:00though. Whatever. We get Tyler Shock, John and I will start saying some good things there. That's just how it goes.
79:06>> Yes. And by the way, we are getting closer to uh hard out John time unfortunately. So, >> are you good, brother? I'll probably
79:16make these two picks and then I have to leave you on your own with the people >> to to finish up our draft which was part
79:22of the agreement whenever unfortunately we did this.
79:25>> I have uh I had prior engagements but with only one week till the season like we had to still make something happen.
79:30>> Oh, you good man. You got a life to live. I will say the one if you leave the one wide receiver I
79:38think you might see on this team is uh Mr. Chris Bell.
79:42>> That's the one. him or Vele? I mean, those are just the two where I feel like >> Well, they're the opposite outcomes,
79:50right? Whereas Veil starts good, then gets overtaken by Jordan Tyson, >> but Bell's not even usable the first half of the season, but at least we have
79:58him on our team in case he breaks out in the second half when he ramps up.
80:05>> You know, he's not going to be a full-time player like the first.
80:07>> We're not going to start him.
80:10>> But Douglas, too. I mean, I I I like Chris Bell more than Caleb Douglas, but you know, I also one of my arguments for
80:17liking Jacobe over Serat was the fact that the Ravens picked Jacobe over Serat and the Dolphins did choose Douglas over Bell first. I feel like the knee part
80:24was more so why. But >> yeah, I mean B the profile was significantly better. Uh Bell would have been a you know a second round pick. I
80:32believe that's how the NFL graded him if he was fully healthy. He wasn't though was the issue.
80:37>> Yeah. So, I I still I still don't mind Bell. Again, that's uh it's kind of like Jordan Tyson. That's a stash for the
80:44first six weeks.
80:46>> Why do people draft two quarterbacks?
80:48They feel better about their failures in life. This is not good, John. This is not good, John.
80:56>> Oh, no. Relax.
80:59>> Relax everyone.
81:01>> I mean, we could also go Straoud. It's not This is not bad. This is fine.
81:05>> It's not good. [laughter] This is fine.
81:09Do we have Do we have Does this team have Nico and Dave Montgomery?
81:15>> Uh, no.
81:16>> We didn't go We didn't go Nico. We went Javvante. Okay. Okay.
81:20>> I was at an auction last night with Drew and his league and, you know, consumed some wine, maybe a gummy of
81:28sorts, and uh I was just like at the end of the draft and I'm like, "Oh, I took Trey McBride and Jeremiah Love on the
81:35same team." Don't love that. Don't love that. John probably shouldn't have done that.
81:40>> It's like watching a five hour movie in action. It's like first first two and a half hours are riveting, but then you
81:45got to really lock in that last two and a half. You got to do something else to keep your mind off it.
81:50>> Last two. It's like I just uh you know, wife's not the world with me right now.
81:55Wouldn't mind being done with this. I'm having a good time, but I got $5 left and two >> roster bids now. Like yeah, [laughter]
82:03>> I actually Okay, >> maybe >> I did have a good uh realization though where I was like really if at all
82:10possible save like two and $3 bids for THE END. LET'S GO, JOHN. WE DIDN'T GET SCREWED.
82:17>> Jordan Love.
82:18>> Jordan Love for sure.
82:19>> For sure. Thank the Lord.
82:23That [laughter] was almost really bad.
82:27>> Tyler Tyler Shuck or Malik Willis would be fun. I think that'd be fine on the comeback.
82:32>> Yeah, I agree. No, that's fine. I just I really want Jordan Love. Jordan Love's going to smash.
82:40>> I agree. And we have two as receiver, so we kind of need it.
82:44>> Exactly.
82:44>> I haven't I haven't done the the matchup breakdown yet, but I'm I'm pretty sure Jordan Love's numbers against the Blitz
82:50since they're playing Brian Flores week one. I'm pretty sure the numbers were like really good against the Blitz whenever Zack Tom was on the field, but
82:57I'll have I'll have more info for that on our start sets in a week here.
83:01>> I feel like Flor is eats alive the young or young quarterbacks and bad teams, but if you're if you're good and competent,
83:09which Love and Laflur are, you can get that guy.
83:11>> It's actually a super tough match up for Marshon Lloyd. That's the funniest thing is that we're all excited and then it's
83:17like the opposite way where the Vikings run defense was spectacular. Um, >> dude, this schedule though. Holy [ __ ] Vikings in week one. Okay, that's tough.
83:24Whatever. Say it's tough. Jets, Falcons, Bucks Bears Cowboys Lions Panthers.
83:30They're week eight.
83:31>> Great.
83:32>> That's pretty great. All of them.
83:34>> Pretty great.
83:36>> I mean, I would have taken Jordan Love in round five for being We're calling a spade of spade here. That's how much I
83:41love him.
83:43>> Well, perfect.
83:43>> I would like another quarterback here.
83:45Tyler Shuck, Malik Willis.
83:47Yeah. Who do you think? I like Tyler Shuck more. I mean, I like Malik Willis, don't get me wrong. There you go. Makes
83:53it easier, but I I do love Tyler Shuck.
83:57>> I agree. Malik Willis, could he be QB12?
84:01Yeah, could he be higher? I'd be pretty surprised. Tyler Shuck, given that pace, given what we saw, wouldn't it be the
84:07most shocking thing in the world? Let's bring on down Tyler Shook. Johnny, you're a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you for helping me draft a team that I
84:14do think has a little bit of upside.
84:16Again guys, Jordan Love, Tyler Shuck finally at QB in rounds 14 and 15. We went double elite tight end early in a
84:22tight end premium. Bowowers and Lovelin, Javvante Williams and Dave Montgomery holding down RB1, RB2, Rashad White, Keaton Mitchell, Ray Davis on the bench,
84:29Christian Watson, Deson Stribbling, Quinton Johnston, Josh DS, Matthew Golden, Rashid Shahed in the wide receiver room, which is obviously weaker, but we don't draft them until
84:37round five. That's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. So, any final thoughts Johnny?
84:42I think this is a a strong team and also it's just a reason for me to talk to you every single week in season since we
84:50have to just now discuss waiver pickups every Wednesday evening and start sits every Thursday.
84:55>> Got it. Love it. Got to love John. Make sure you guys check out his great work over at Establish the Run. Thank you so
85:00much, my friend. Please leave this open so I don't lose the audio. Take care.
85:03>> I'm going to leave it open but close my window. Talk to you later.
85:05>> Love you, buddy. Later. Great stuff from the great John Dagel. Your boy Ian is gonna close things out here for a little
85:12bit. So we got kickers going off the board. Could not be me. Of course. Ain't about that life.
85:20Not John leaves though. Not going to lie. Some of these wide receivers looking looking interesting. It's all I'm saying. Mostly just Chris Bell guys.
85:30That's the lottery. That's the lottery ticket. So dude, let's go to football.
85:35Watch that Louisville Miami game if you don't believe me. We also have Tyler Shuck on this team. You know, a good way
85:42to build some fantasy football team chemistry, get those dudes reunited.
85:47The Tyler Shuck, Chris Bell stack. No one's talking about it. Brian Robinson, Malik Davis going off the board here in round 15. Two guys who again appeared on
85:58my No one's drafting them. No one's picking these dudes up. Maybe you should.
86:03Again, completely meaningless, completely useless players early on the season as long as the starter is healthy. But just something to keep in
86:09mind for those bench spots. If you have seven wide receivers, like God bless Dantavian Wixs and AD Mitchell, Taekwon Thornton, those types,
86:20that's where I just think the Malik Davises and Brian Robinsons of the world can get you there more. There's an exception here and there. Kan Booty just
86:28went, he's a player I like, but man, even in Houston, we think more than Nico gets going.
86:34Not really. Not expecting that. I'll be honest with you guys.
86:39Now that John's out though, I can critique everything that he just said about this team. No, I'm just playing. I actually do like it, guys. Again,
86:48we need Bowowers and Lovelin to smash.
86:50But if they do in T, that's going to give us a real nice advantage and it's going to give us the tight M1 and Flex
86:57one spots that are just going to be booming each and every week out there.
87:01Javvante and Dave Montgomery, easy double digit touchdown upside. And I get it. They're not Bree Hall and they're not Jeremiah Love as receivers. They can
87:10still catch 40 50 passes. It's happened.
87:13Javvante I think they both have 50 plus catch seasons in their career.
87:19Let me check. Make sure I'm not spreading fake news. Yeah, I mean Javvante caught 54 passes his second year in the league. Been doing good in
87:28Detroit. Caught 36 of 38 targets in 24 249 last year. The Javvante stuff was brutal last year to Dagel's point. Like
87:37legit horrific efficiency.
87:40He caught 52 and 47 passes the previous two years in Denver.
87:46And who is taking anything at this point?
87:51When we had Jaden Blue there, I didn't think it would happen, but it was possible. You had the archetype.
87:59Now, Malik Davis m Amari De Marcado is a third down guy, but man, he just signed be pretty surprising to me.
88:12That's the whole dead zone thing. It's the bad offenses. If we had to look at actual dead zone running backs, Quinn Sean Judkins, honestly, you can
88:23argue Etchen if Chimera is taking the receiving work and if their offense isn't good. No, two ifs. I get it.
88:34The Saints were as good as things kind of were with Shuck. You know, still not looking at a juggernaut group. If they
88:40finish 23rd in scoring, we shouldn't be absolutely hoodwick and bamboozled. Know what I'm saying?
88:46Scataboo, if he potentially loses that pass down work, that could be tough. You guys get what I'm saying?
88:53Gunner Helm going off the board now.
88:57I want me Oh, no.
89:02Where'd he go?
89:05Oh, I'm on QB. I was like, I thought Chris Bell went. No worries. I'm just an idiot. It happens sometimes. We've all
89:13been there.
89:17Come Vidal off the board.
89:20James Connor late round picks. Not looking as great. Everyone must say starting off the season on IR. Not ideal.
89:30Naji Harris goes. I got Seth McGoan, Sam Perine as potential handcuffs that we could tack on here. We're going to get kicker and defense, so I pretty
89:41much have three picks left.
89:44Honestly, none of these running backs are peing my interest at all. We have Isaiah Pacheco going off the board. I mentioned Vidal
89:55being gone.
89:58I don't hate McGoan. Chris Brooks.
90:04He's still there. That's not bad. I know we already got our Packers, but not doing it for me with Caleb Johnson,
90:15guys. Maybe around 20. Just have multiple coaching staffs give up on the guy. Oh, there goes Caleb Douglas. See, that's a problem because now Caleb
90:23Douglas goes and these dudes are gonna go, "Oh, that's a good idea. I should take Chris Bell.
90:30No, you shouldn't. No, you guys shouldn't. Just let him fall to me. I won't even push him to around 17. I
90:36really want Chris Bell.
90:38Five more picks. Nicholas Singleton.
90:44I can see the allure there a little bit.
90:49Those Penn State teams are just wild.
90:53That Drew Aller Notre Dame Penn State, I don't I didn't call it a classic. I guess it was a good game. No wide receivers caught a pass in
91:01that game. I mean, Singleton, Katron, and Tyler Warren just the engine of that offense. They brought in more wide receivers last year. Didn't work. One
91:09bad play caller higher after another.
91:12All stuff is pretty crazy.
91:16Ohio boy though, so you know, I'll be rooting for him.
91:19four picks for the rest of our life to try to get us some Chris Bell defenses.
91:30You guys know me, I love my Baltimore Ravens D. The Eagles are still there, though.
91:41That's the one I go back and forth on.
91:46George Alani, I really struggle to see the upside scenario. Come on. Please, just give me Chris Bell.
91:52You just took two kickers. Thank you.
91:57Thank you, Chris freaking Bell.
92:02If you didn't love this team before, I don't know how you can look at it now and not say anything other than this is
92:09a freaking juggernaut.
92:12I threw a couple negatives in there, so I might have messed up, but you guys get it.
92:16Let's go.
92:19Is Jell McMillan still available? No, I didn't think so.
92:24That would have been nuts. All right, I'm done drafting wide receivers.
92:28I'm kind of leading Chris Brooks here, guys.
92:34Tyron Tracy.
92:37Ni's already off the board.
92:40Not loving that.
92:43There goes Seth McGoan. Good pick.
92:48Perines out there. I push back on Perine, but more and more we are in a situation where it's just like there's
92:55Kareem Hunt. I get it and I'm concerned.
92:57I've talked about him enough to stream, but more and more it's just like, man, not that many guys left that could
93:07actually be impacting.
93:10I'm going to go through all the depth charts here probably after this is done just get a better idea for kind of who
93:15could be traded the scenarios like that because right now I'm just not seeing too many and then Connor on the IR again
93:20those are like two of the ticking time bombs but Nas is already gone.
93:26All right if Chris Brooks doesn't go I'll go Peron.
93:32I'm gonna push defense and be a little cocky because I actually like these running backs. Let's go Chris Brooks.
93:46fully healthy, good to go again. We're Marshon Lloyd Bulls here.
93:53What happens if Marshon Lloyd unfortunately gets injured again?
93:57Probably Chris Books. They got Pierre Strong, I think.
94:02Pierre Strong. Yeah. Come on. Come on, man. That's like when those words come out of your mouth. They got Pierre Strong. I think that's when you know
94:13you're drafting a good running back.
94:14When you're trying to grasp for potential issues and you end up on Pierre Strong's name.
94:21I don't feel good about the pick. I feel great.
94:25Abra was the next one. I just hope he's healthy, man. I wanted to see AK this year, but given the fact it's already
94:30happened, who knows? Could have been wrong from the beginning to believe in AK. just it's fantasy football and it's part of
94:40what makes it so frustrating is just the injuries, man. And the who knows what would have worked out. You know, we
94:48talked about the Travis Hunter stuff even last year like whether he would have or whether he wouldn't have boomed at the end like it sure as hell would
94:55have been a lot cooler to find out. So, I will say this guy taking the multiple kickers, he's doing it because on FFPC
95:05there's these weird rules where you get a first pass opportunity with the two prime time games. So, you can insert any
95:14Seahawk, Patriot, Ram, or 49er because they're on the Wednesday and Thursday games. You can put them into your lineup. You get a chance to watch it
95:21because I think they finish up these drafts on like that Friday. So that's kind of like the how it goes because
95:27like it happened in 2019 or whatever it was when CLair went in the Chiefs and he had the huge week one game. He was going
95:34I think 101 or something afterwards because everyone got to use that first game as well. Obviously end up being a bit of an overreaction. Fantasy people
95:42never do that. But I think the first pass thing is cool at the end around 145 though. I'm happy they did it though. got us our
95:52quarterbacks. Aronda Gassin off the board in round 17. That's actually a pretty good pick.
95:58Darren Waller sitting out here.
96:02I'm a little bit intrigued there. I'll be honest with you guys.
96:06We just have Pat Fryouth go. Evan Ingram go. Oh, Michael Mayer.
96:11Good thing I remember that one. Let's go. All right.
96:16Yeah. I mean, the Gunnar Helms are off the board. You're not taking my man's Michael Mayer.
96:21I would say Waller Mayor makes some sense here.
96:29Keeping the queue going.
96:32I got this sheet I would show you guys, but it's on my laptop which I got over here. Don't know if you know that. Got a
96:40little laptop I'm hanging out with. You can't even see in the screen.
96:44Basically, I just got my ranks and tiers and I mark people off as I go on.
96:49highlight the guys I got in green. Can make some overnotes, too. I do have a cheat sheet for y'all over rotoire.com,
96:54by the way. I waited an hour 37 to plug anything. That's pretty good. You know, over hit.
97:03But yeah, I basically just gave my general strategy position by position, but also if you don't even like reading, I get it. Got things to do. Cheat sheet.
97:11Quarterback, running back, wide receiver, ranks, and tiers. I got green dots next to guys that I like at ADP. I got red dots next to guys that I don't.
97:19It's a handful of guys per position.
97:21Believe me, the whole thing isn't just red and green. I'm not trying to be a nightmare for the colorblind folk out
97:26there. Remember that color rush game a few years ago just tearing apart the community. Hate to see it. There goes Amari de Marcato, Deont Clayborn, Round
97:3617 names.
97:40These are the depths of hell that no man shall have to experience.
97:44I'm actually gonna be in an even worse death of hell, layer of hell, I should say.
97:50On Wednesday, it's gonna be fun. Don't get me wrong. I love this [ __ ] Wednesday though, I'm doing a guillotine
97:56draft. That's probably going to be God knows how many rounds. And again, those are 17 teams.
98:03So, [gasps] you get the round 15 of one of those guys. It is rough. Yeah, that'll be on this channel. I think I'm
98:10live streaming it. So, hang out if you want. We'll answer some questions. That would be the one allure of live streaming. Could answer some questions.
98:18I'm doing some DraftKing stuff. I'm getting uh Liam Liam Murphy, champion of baseball. He's mentioned that once or twice before.
98:28Gonna have him on Wednesday, Thursday, one of those days. I'll announce it. And then uh you know, really doing a good
98:35job pitching that to you guys. Want to try to get Pat Rena later in the week.
98:38He's a busy man. We'll see what happens.
98:41Exciting times. Getting some last baseball squads in there.
98:46Team on the clock right now is named Dejon Love. Gotta love that. No pun intended. Wrote an article about uh Don
98:56Stribbling being a bit of a sleeper. And I was talking about Demarcus Robinson, Jawan Jennings, Richie James, all these kind of big random games. And we
99:03squeezed in the Jean love there. People forget, man. People forget. Omar Cooper, round 18, round one wide receiver. Can't be complaining too much there.
99:14I got Waller and Mayor on the board.
99:20Perine's there, too. Jordan James is there.
99:27Kareem Hunt just get ahead of it. Nah, I'm not that crazy. D will be pissed.
99:33There goes the kicker.
99:40Hm. Um, now the teams behind me do not have kickers or defenses.
99:47Okay, one is a kicker, but I do I do kickers around 20 anyway.
99:51It's just how I roll.
99:54There is a chance that they take the Eagles and the Ravens and that's a little bit more problematic. I still got
100:00the Steelers and the Vikings.
100:03Patriots are fine. They got some good return juice as well. So, it's not the end of the world. End of Zorld. You guys
100:09remember that video? Classic.
100:12Yeah, I just don't love it. So, my Chargers Jaguars double tap. That just seems like a I mean, the Jaguars, you
100:20get the week one Browns, which is great.
100:21The Chargers, you get week one and week two filled up. I just feel like it's kind of overkill to use two picks on it,
100:27but round 16 plus three.
100:32All right, relax. I was trying to give you the benefit of doubt. Defenses are flying off the board now.
100:39Eagles versus Ravens. Who do I think is better in real life? The Eagles, but I don't know by that much. Whose schedule
100:45do I like more? Definitely the Ravens.
100:49Going with the Ravens.
100:52Give me Baltimore.
100:56Jordan James goes, Mentioned him previously. Makes sense.
101:02I'm going Ravens defense because there's probably going to be two taken off the board here. And I did not want to risk
101:09it for Sam Pron or Michael Mayer.
101:14What about Darren Waller? Here's the thing with Darren Waller, Tommy Trumble, Mitchell Evans, Tavian Sanders. Could they rotate him? Yeah. Or
101:23is Darren Waller the cheapest archetype of the Terren Ferguson or Ronda Gatson
101:32proposition? guys here like, well, the playing time might not be there, but you look at the wide receiver room. Could they be a number three option? Maybe.
101:43I'm talking myself in the Darren Waller, guys. We were worried if he was going to get cut because he's like learned the
101:48playbook and stuff. He looked good last year. He beats Gardner for a touchdown.
101:51That happened. He waited. He buyed his time and he found this situation.
101:57Don't you think like Darren Waller is coming back to play a lot of football?
102:03He signed with the Panthers, man. That doesn't seem like a love of the game shout out. Is he from Carolina?
102:12Would make a little more sense.
102:17He's from Georgia.
102:20Georgia Tech legend. Born in Maryland.
102:22Went to high school in Georgia. You guys get it. All right. Yeah. Eagles went at the turn, so I wasn't crazy. I don't
102:28know if they would have taken the Ravens. I don't know if that's gotten out there yet, but you guys should definitely Again, Houston Rams,
102:35Seahawks, Broncos, I'm taking over the Ravens. Eagles, I get I've gone back and forth a bit myself. If you guys wanted
102:41the Eagles, I'm not calling you crazy.
102:43Ravens for me are the DST6. You're good for six weeks. We only have one game against the Cowboys in week three that
102:50we got to be concerned about. It's a really good team. Their win total's up there. Lamar Jackson, we trust it.
102:55Jesse Mentor, Kyle Hamilton, Trey Hendrickson, and they their overall numbers last year weren't great, but they flipped the switch. They were top 10 and everything
103:04the second half of last year because previously they would just have these problems in the first couple months.
103:09They move Kyle Hamilton to some role where he'd figure everything out and they'd be really good. It's life when you got Kyle Hamilton.
103:18I'm gonna go here with Darren Waller if they let me because I'm gonna be a man even though I'm not 40
103:26and not handcuff my own tight end.
103:33I think my reasoning there actually does make sense. This is tricky though doing the drafts on your own. At least when I
103:40have John here, he can be like, Ian, that was really dumb and you guys you guys get to hear that. Not so much when
103:48it's just me in a room hoping that my winner dogs don't start barking.
103:53They're chilling though. I shut the blinds. That's That's my preparation.
103:57Shut the blinds and they can bark the neighbor dogs later. All right, Vikings.
104:01I think they might have gone Ravens. I think your boy made a good call. Let's go Darren Waller. Just quickly check,
104:07make sure no issues. I saw an update on him earlier. I think it was just like he was practicing.
104:14Let me check. Rotoire NFL, my go-to newsfeed for everything. Yeah, I'm biased obviously, but they're pretty great. Check them out
104:25for yourself.
104:30Waller's on the bike for maintenance.
104:33They've been building him up, which been a slow ramp up. That's what I'm saying.
104:36They're building up. They have a plan for this guy.
104:39Let's go Darren Waller.
104:43I like it.
104:48Like, do you guys remember Darren Waller actually being pretty good last year? He didn't play that many games, but when he
104:53was out there, he was doing the damn thing.
104:56He's 30. He's going to be 34.
104:59Tough start. I I hear you. I hear myself.
105:04Caught six touchdowns in nine games last season.
105:08I know T-Mac's gonna get his and I like Coker.
105:13Would it be the most shocking thing ever if Darren Waller out produces Xavier Legette?
105:23Man, he had the he had six touchdowns in nine games.
105:28In two of the games, he got knocked out before he could play even 40% of snaps with injury. So, it's basically six
105:35touchdowns in seven games for the Dolphins.
105:40Tua can throw some nice touch passes at tight end. I remember the John New Year.
105:46That's honestly, man, PennX over Tua.
105:48Like, thank God for our own eyeballs because that's going to make Falcons games a hell of a lot more entertaining.
105:54Thank God for Drake London. I don't know. Thank God for Kyle Pittz.
105:58The amount Tula was force-feeding that dude in the preseason was asinon.
106:02borderline irresponsible.
106:06Sam Darnold round 19 must have heard me.
106:11Only two quarterbacks after Tyler Shuck, by the way. Don Jones and Sam Darnold.
106:19So, we really did find the late round QB line, wrestled for [laughter] it, and we got it done. I was scared. Diggle
106:29was saying, "No, we're fine." I did not think we were gonna be fine because there was a scenario where they just keep double tapping
106:39and like D was saying we can get CJ Stra like that's not that's not what you want to hear. [laughter] Didn't have to do
106:46it. I'm happy with Love and Shook.
106:51Two guys love for his whole first season was QB5 and fantasy points per game. Had some injuries his last two but opening
106:56up the offense. I believe in the talent.
106:58Tyler Shook, QB1 down the stretch of last season. I like the offense. Yeah, we'll see on the talent. He can move
107:06enough. He's got a good arm.
107:09But that is the point. When you wait this long at QB, you need to. And we got to. So, I'm feeling good there. Cam
107:15Little, Cam Dicker off the board.
107:20Will Riker and Harrison Bucker were the other two guys I like.
107:25I refuse to give you guys a kicker video. Never say never. Maybe not this year. Sorry. Theo did though. So check
107:32out the Rotoire YouTube channel.
107:38The research I did do though briefly was looking at the correlation between scoring offenses, elite scoring offenses and positional like elite fantasy
107:46players.
107:48And for quarterbacks and running backs, it was most important for fantasy scoring to also be in a really good real life offense.
107:55wide receivers and tight ends had lower correlations. Tight end lower than wide receiver.
108:00DST was actually negative correlated, which means we don't want a kicker from a top five scoring offense necessarily.
108:11This is overtime. Not saying there can't be exceptions, but it makes sense logically.
108:17We won't be moving the ball down the field and getting stopped. We want to get to the 40 yard line, have a kicker with a
108:23big leg and can boom it through.
108:26Cam Little and the Jaguars makes some sense. Cameron Dicker Dicker to kicker when he can just boom 50 60 yarders. I
108:33get it. Ka Farbar. He's a great pick. He went round 18.
108:40I like Riker and the Vikings because we got the dome and he hit some 50 yarders.
108:46Let me make sure he didn't like lose the kicking competition or something.
108:54News on Will Riker. Wow, perfect on two kicks last Friday.
109:01Second news that popped up. Will Riker's latest disrespect is impossible for Vikings fans to ignore. What a what a headline from fan side of the Viking
109:11age. Good website name though. Yeah, the fantasy ranking. He's getting disrespected. Not here. Not in these streets.
109:21Is he for sure the Vikings kicker? I can't have a kicker competition. That would be humiliating.
109:27Yeah. Yeah. He's the only guy there.
109:31Feeling good.
109:33If someone snipes me on Will Riker, I swear to God, I'm going be pissed.
109:39Harrison Bucker, though, he's got a freaking cannon, too.
109:43Maybe not everyone's favorite person for very reasonable reasons, not to like the guy, but you know, it's fantasy football.
109:51Tory guys Rice. Not fading the guy because I because he is widely considered a bad person. Just the other stuff that goes
110:01into it.
110:04Will Riker or we freaking riot. Got Harrison Bucker and Will Lutz here too.
110:09God kickers. This is what I've been reduced to.
110:17Chase Mccclaclin. Sarah Mccclaclin.
110:21Chief Dag going off the board.
110:24I mean, Spags is good, but is he a miracle worker? Maybe.
110:29Dude beat down the Patriots in 07.
110:33The crazy thing about the Rams off season.
110:38Good job, team seven not taking Jordan Love for me and taking CJ Straden 20. Like CJ Straden round 20 is your second QB. It's a fine
110:46pick. Maybe just don't take three defenses next time. I don't know.
110:51Like why' you need the Jaguars? Jaguars.
110:54I'm getting better, guys. It is Jaguars.
110:56I've been told this and I've been going all in with the Etchen thing.
111:01It's not Achan. It's Etchen, I think.
111:05Correct me if I'm wrong.
111:07I do want to get the pronunciations right. Like, that is a goal of mine. I know it's annoying for people don't
111:11hear. Honest to God though, when I'm watching football, I have red zone volume on and then I have a quad box in
111:19the TV that I'm mostly zeroed in on.
111:22Then I watch the rest of the games Monday morning throughout the afternoon to literally get every snap watch. You know, that's what we're doing out here.
111:29We're grinding. But because of that, when I'm catching up, I'm watching all 22 with music, which is probably a me problem. You could argue, but I got to
111:36try to not go completely insane. Here goes Bucker.
111:40And uh yeah, so it's just a situation where I don't catch the pronunciation sometimes. Perine, round 20. Good pick.
111:48I think unless we get a third kicker taken, we're getting some Will Reichard.
111:52Will Riker? See, got to learn his name.
111:55He's my kicker.
111:58All right. Do we have any first chance stuff? I don't think so.
112:07No. Yeah, because Meyers Definitely one.
112:11All right, Will Rard, let's go. All right, the squad again. Crazy start from Dagel, but I
112:22like it. All right, tight end premium.
112:25Maybe, just maybe. We got two of the highest scoring guys in the position in the league as a whole. Brock Bowers is
112:31our tight end one. He's not moving.
112:33Coulson Lovelin is our flex one. He's not moving. After that, of course, we had to play some catchup at the other
112:38positions. Javvante Williams RB1. Dave Montgomery RB2. Christian Watson, Don Stribbling, Quinton Johnston, Josh DS, Matthew Golden. That's how you play
112:46catchup at wide receiver. Okay. 100%.
112:50And the the deal we made with the devil when looking at Devonte and Monty.
112:57We picked these two because we felt better about these wide receivers in the middle than the running backs. Not that that's going to necessarily be right
113:04with every single one, but that was a story we're telling ourselves. And we got our guys Watson dribbling Johnston downs Golden Loop back for a [ __ ] shahed
113:14in round 12. If you guys have been watching my videos, first of all, thank you. Second of all, he is one of the
113:19sleepers I will go out of my way for.
113:22And then Chris Bell in round 16. I do like that. Fill out the RB room with Rashad White, Katon Mitchell, and Ray
113:28Davis. Chris Brooks as well. So, six deep at RB. Having White and Mitchell, two guys that aren't pure handcuffs made me feel okay with not needing, you know,
113:40eight dudes out there or anything like that. Ray's a pure handcuff. We'll see on Chris Brooks. I think it's going to
113:46be Lloyd. There's a reason why Lloyd is going higher, but he was Brooks was banged up for a lot of his training
113:50camp.
113:52He was involved last year as well with Emanuel Wilson when we had Jacobs out of the picture. I like that round 17 value
113:59of Chris Brooks. Ravens defense for reasons I've discussed at length. Darren Waller for reasons that we all got behind. All of us, even you listening, I
114:08can't hear right now, you know.
114:09Appreciate you. Then my guy Will Reichard round 20. I'm feeling good.
114:13Hope you guys are feeling good. If you don't like the team, let me know. If you like the team, let me know. Either way,
114:18we'll be back in these streets tomorrow.
114:19Myself, Theo Ginger, drafting our FFPC squad. Then we got Dwayne and Rock McFarland Thursday and Friday. Always a great day to be great in these streets.
114:28Hey, I appreciate everyone tuning in though, being along for the ride. About to hit the 2K subscriber mark. That's awesome. I'm freaking pumped, people.
114:36Really appreciate you guys showing me some love. I'm looking forward to just Yeah. grinding, doing all the fantasy content day in day out. Hard hat launch
114:44pale. That's why you're getting here. No reason we can't have a little bit of fun along the way. But anyway guys, I'm
114:49taking off. This has been fun. Hope you enjoyed. Until next time, take care everybody.
