Dallas was a fourth-round pick by Seattle in 2020 and spent four seasons with the Seahawks as a role player, collecting 112 carries for 468 yards and four touchdowns plus 61 receptions for 396 yards and a touchdown. In 2024, he moved to Arizona and was used almost exclusively as a kick returner, recording a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on one of the league's new dynamic kickoffs. In 2025, he appeared in only six games across three games with Carolina and three with Jacksonville before joining the Vikings practice squad.

Dallas has progressed from special teams contributor to low-end offensive contributor with good burst, tackle-breaking ability, and excellent receiving skills; he is endeared to the staff. While Emmanuel Wilson and Ken Walker III will get the bulk of early-season work while Zach Charbonnet recovers (likely not until late October), Dallas is a top waiver wire target and could factor in if either starter gets injured, especially in deep leagues.
