"I expect Caleb Williams to be in the MVP conversation. I love his game. The sky is the limit for Chicago." 🥶 — @PSchrags on @FirstTake
Caleb Williams on Luther Burden: “He makes the first guy miss every time. That’s his trait. He catches everything. He’s a friendly receiver to the QB. When you get the ball in his hands - he makes that first player miss.” (@UpAndAdamsShow / @heykayadams)
Micah Parsons on Caleb Williams’ iceman celebration: “I can’t lie the celly and everything is super great.” 🥶
Keenan Allen on Caleb Williams: “He’s one of the best Quarterbacks I’ve ever played with talent wise. Being able to do anything, throw any pass - on platform, off platform.” Williams lands at No. 51 on the NFL Top 100 list.
I took a look at every top-5 scoring offense over the last 5 years and calculated the average fantasy finish across each position for these offenses: QB: 5.5 RB1: 10.2 WR1: 11.3 WR2. 29.3 TE: 9.4 Here are some notable teams with top-5 scoring upside that likely have severely underpriced players on ESPN 1. Jacksonville Jaguars - Trevor Lawrence: QB12 - Bhayshul Tuten: RB26 - Parker Washington: WR38 - Brian Thomas: WR37 - Brenton Strange: TE20 I like Lawrence, Tuten, and Washington at their ADP...
We've read about the focus for Caleb Williams on ball placement and accuracy this offseason, but this is the 1st time I've heard about Johnson designing plays for CW to hit his open primary WR 2025 1st read throw rate (min 200 pass att): Shedeur = 54.7% (WORST) Caleb = 58.3% (2nd Worst) Bryce Young and Justin Fields were better at this. Good for the team to focus on this improvement collectively. @FantasyPtsData
Caleb Williams value still is pretty puzzling to me, as I think he should align much more closely with the Dak/Herbert tier than the Maye/Daniels/Burrow tier (currently QB6 w/ late round 6 ADP). I don't see the path to Caleb outperforming ADP without a pretty major leap as a passer. He's mobile, but not the hyper-mobile type that has top ~3 QB upside on the back of his rushing ability (outside top 10 in rush att/gm and YPG last year). And as a passer, despite a big year 2 improvement overall,...
Does Caleb Williams need to do a better job hitting his layups? Yes. Is it amazing that Caleb Williams can pull off this voodoo witchcraft shit? Yes.
Lamar Jackson is going around 55 overall. Just 16 picks before Caleb Williams. Plenty of room for 29-year-old Lamar to beat ADP if we're willing to chalk up 2025 rushing decline to injury. Rush attempts per game, by season: 2018: 9.2 2019: 11.7 2020: 10.6 2021: 11.1 2022: 9.3 2023: 9.3 2024: 8.2 **2025: 5.1 (hamstring, ankle, toe, back)** We are middling Lamar rushing a bit in projection, we're nowhere near his 2019-21 form. Still come in at 52 overall. <https://establishtherun.com/etrs-top-3...
