Fantasy Football with Ian Hartitz on Carnell Tate

VideoWeek 8 Fantasy Football WR Rankings: Garrett Wilson boom week incoming?October 28, 2026

From the video

Titans wide receiver Carell Tate going up against ace Bengals quarterback DJ Turner. Probably one of the more underrated defenders in the league guy. Now, the one thing here when we look at Turner, he has rarely played in the slot this season. And that is a situation where Carninal Tate, as we saw with that nice slot fade down the stretch of last week, has been lined up in for 28% of his routes.

Faces underrated Turner; 28% slot usage provides coverage relief.

Titans WR facing Bengals CB DJ Turner, described as one of the more underrated defenders in the league. Turner has rarely played slot this season, and Tate has been lined up in the slot for 28% of his routes (including a nice slot fade late last week), which should provide some relief from the tough matchup. Tate has been strong at the catch point all season with consistent volume.
