Tate faces underrated Turner but gets slot relief at 28% route rate.

Carrell Tate faces Bengals CB DJ Turner, described by Ian Hartitz as one of the more underrated defenders in the league. Turner has rarely played in the slot this season, but Tate has been lined up in the slot for 28% of his routes (including a nice slot fade late last week), which should provide some relief from the tough matchup. However, Hartitz expresses worry about this shadow coverage, suggesting a downgrade may be warranted despite the slot opportunity.
