George Pickens was super open and Dak was an autopilot. The call was to throw it away. I think the call was to throw it away unless Pickens was open. Schottenheimer kind of said, he's like, I overcoached him.

Pickens was open on final play but Dak threw it away per overcoached call.
Pickens was open on the final play of the Cowboys-Ravens game when Dallas threw the ball away in the end zone; Dak Prescott said after the game that coverage plays Pickens 99% of the time, but on this 1% when he was super open, Dak was on autopilot following the call to throw it away unless Pickens was open. Offensive coordinator Schottenheimer acknowledged overcoaching the moment, saying if not 100% certain, just chuck it out of bounds, which Dak overindexed on with 14 seconds left.
