Player insights

54

A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury26:56

A.J. Brown is expected to miss at least four weeks due to injury, likely resulting in an IR designation.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

NegativeValue73:45

Michael Mayer is considered a safer start than Adonai Mitchell.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveBreakout10:17

Blake Corum looked more explosive than Kyron Williams, creating plays despite some missed opportunities. The analysts suggest a potential shift where Corum handles between-the-twenties carries while Williams retains third-down and goal-line duties. Corum is considered a strong bench stash.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveUsage69:44

Breece Hall is considered a must-start player by the analysts.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveUsage66:02

Jamie identifies Chris Olave as a must-start player.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeUsage7:02

Christian McCaffrey's usage shifted, with the team splitting first and second-down snaps nearly evenly (50% to 46%) with Kalon Black. While McCaffrey retained high-value touches like third downs and goal-line work, the loss of early-down volume threatens his case as the overall RB1, as it limits his opportunities for explosive long runs.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveBreakout60:02

Christian Watson is a high-end WR3 with significant upside. He is expected to be a primary target in the Packers' offense and has the ability to win downfield, making him a candidate for seven targets.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeRole47:17

Kalon Black views D'Andre Swift as a high-end RB2, though he notes Swift gets a slight downgrade due to the presence of Mononga in the offense.

Insight page
NegativeValue73:49

Breece Hall is preferred over DeAndre Swift.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveUsage50:44

Kalon Black expects a big game for Dallas Goedert, noting that with AJ Brown gone, targets should be plentiful for Goedert and DeVonta Smith.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveSleeper49:29

Kalon Black notes that Darren Waller is only 10% rostered but could potentially take targets away from other receivers while playing a significant snap share.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeUsage2:32

Davante Adams is a concern due to his usage in 13 personnel packages. While he maintained a 24% target share, he was notably absent from goal-to-go situations in 13 personnel, where Puka Nacua ran all five routes. Jamie notes that Adams' fantasy value is highly touchdown-dependent, and his lack of involvement in high-leverage red zone sets is a negative development.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveUsage66:02

Jamie identifies De'Von Achane as a must-start player.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveUsage69:44

Garrett Wilson is considered a must-start player by the analysts.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveValue17:24

Despite a disappointing Week 1 where he played only 46% of snaps, George Kittle remains a 'buy low' candidate. The team clearly wanted to involve him early, and the limited snap count was likely a precautionary measure to manage his health. Better production is expected moving forward.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveSleeper49:00

Jacoby Brissett is suggested as a potential DFS play. He previously demonstrated a high-scoring stretch when forced to throw frequently due to a poor defense, and he now has a healthy supporting cast.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeBust55:28

Kalon Black advises waiting on Jake Ferguson, noting he averaged only 8.3 points per game late last year and is currently ranked behind Juwan Johnson and Greg Dulcich.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveBreakout45:41

Jamison Williams is a start candidate. Scott Turner expects a big year driven by downfield efficiency, and while target volume may trail Amon-Ra St. Brown, his role is expected to evolve significantly.

Insight page
PositiveProjection67:35

The analysts like Jameson Williams for a big game at home, despite New Orleans' defensive reputation against receivers.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection65:46

Jamie would start Jared Goff over Trevor Lawrence, noting he is a strong start of the week.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeValue42:32

Jayden Daniels is ranked 12th among quarterbacks. While not expected to produce massive numbers immediately, he is valued for his rushing upside and the expectation that Washington will throw frequently.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeUsage50:50

Jeremiah Love is a low-end RB2. Despite the team likely trailing, he is expected to remain on the field for passing situations and could see four or more catches, though his goal-line usage is uncertain.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeRole48:24

Kalon Black advises avoiding Panthers running backs due to uncertainty regarding Jonathan Brooks' health and the potential for a frustrating 50/50 split with Chuba Hubbard.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveRole43:23

Kalon Black likes Jordan Addison as a WR3, noting he and Kyler Murray worked together in the offseason and are on the same page. While Black prefers not to start him this week, he is excited to have him on his bench and ranks him ahead of Reed and Golden.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveSleeper42:41

Kalon Black views Jordan Mason as a high-end RB3 who is a 'touchdown or bust' play but likely to see 15 carries against a questionable Packers defense. Black would start him over Jonathan Brooks, Jalen Warren, and various other backfield options.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue25:23

Josh Jacobs must be rostered despite ongoing legal issues. If he was drafted in the late rounds, he could provide significant value, especially since any time spent on the commissioner's exempt list will count toward a potential suspension.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection54:13

Justin Herbert is a start, though there is some hesitation regarding his ceiling. While he is a better start than Jaden Daniels, there are other quarterbacks with higher upside cases this week.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveValue66:05

Jamie would start Juwan Johnson over George Kittle, Mark Andrews, and Dalton Kincaid, though not over Travis Kelce.

Insight page

Kaelon Black

PositiveSleeper7:05

Kalon Black is a must-roster player (61% rostered) after splitting first and second-down carries with Christian McCaffrey. He looked explosive and earned the right to continue sharing the backfield, making him a high-upside stash who would be a league-winner if McCaffrey were to miss time.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

NegativeBust56:49

Kalon Black expects a tough matchup for Kimani Vidal against the Cowboys' improved defense, suggesting he may not have a great game despite being a starter.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection23:24

Kyle Pitts' fantasy outlook remains stable even if Cooper Rush starts at quarterback. The expectation is that he will continue to run the same routes and receive dump-off passes, as the offensive scheme is designed to feature tight ends.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection41:10

Kalon Black advises avoiding Kyler Murray this week, noting that Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon knows Murray's tendencies well and how to make him uncomfortable. Black ranks at least 12-14 other quarterbacks ahead of him, preferring Baker Mayfield and Jayden Daniels.

Insight page
NegativeBust68:27

Kyler Murray is a sit candidate. While the offensive line has shown improvement, the team is expected to ease him into the game plan, and there is uncertainty regarding the matchup.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeUsage10:17

Kyron Williams maintained a valuable role in the Rams' backfield, handling all third-down and goal-line snaps. While he is less explosive than Blake Corum, he is praised for his ability to avoid negative plays, which keeps him relevant despite the competition.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveUsage47:11

Kalon Black notes that if Rome Odunze is out, Luther Burden should see eight-plus targets, making him a strong start.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeProjection57:47

Kalon Black ranks Malik Nabers in the top 20 as a WR2, assuming he plays. He advises caution due to the injury, suggesting that if you have great alternatives, you might play them instead.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeRole38:35

Marshawn Lloyd is viewed as a low-end RB2. He is expected to handle early-down work but is not projected to be involved on third downs, though he remains the primary goal-line option.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeProjection36:44

Marvin Harrison Jr. is ranked back-to-back with Michael Wilson, with Dave noting he is slightly behind Quentin Johnston in his rankings.

Insight page
PositiveValue74:31

Marvin Harrison Jr. is preferred over Tony Pollard in PPR formats.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeProjection0:31

Matthew Stafford struggled in the season opener, scoring only 4.1 fantasy points and looking 'old' and 'rusty' according to the analysts. While he had seven games of single-digit fantasy points in 2024, the panel is not ready to call him washed, though they express significant pessimism regarding his fantasy outlook beyond Week 2.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeProjection66:21

Dave ranks Michael Mayer as the TE12, just behind Juwan Johnson at TE11.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeProjection36:44

Michael Wilson is ranked back-to-back with Marvin Harrison Jr. as a high-end WR3 for the week.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue73:34

Parker Washington is a preferred start over Jameson Williams in full PPR formats.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveUsage3:24

Puka Nacua has emerged as a key beneficiary of the Rams' 13 personnel usage, specifically in goal-to-go situations. He ran all five goal-to-go routes in 13 personnel during the opener, signaling a potential shift in role that gives him more upside than Davante Adams in that specific formation.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveValue36:44

Dave ranks Quentin Johnston ahead of Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson, positioning him as a high-end WR3 for the week.

Insight page
PositiveValue44:24

Kalon Black ranks Quentin Johnston highly, placing him above Chris Godwin and other wide receivers in his current rankings.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

NegativeBust40:37

Rome Odunze is a sit candidate due to the Panthers' secondary playing zone-heavy cover three, which limits deep-threat opportunities. His outlook is further dampened by his health status and the presence of other intermediate-field weapons.

Insight page
NegativeBust46:08

Kalon Black advises sitting Rome Odunze this week, noting he was limited in practice for two straight days and that other options are preferred.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveValue68:17

The analysts prefer Sam LaPorta over Michael Mayer.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeMatchup52:16

Kalon Black considers Terry McLaurin a must-start but cautions that he could face a shadow matchup from Quinyon Mitchell, which would be a significant change for the Commanders' offense.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeBust47:14

Tony Pollard is not recommended for fantasy lineups due to an expected timeshare with Tyjae Spears, a struggling offensive line, and a lack of consistent production even when given high volume last year.

Insight page
PositiveUsage70:02

Tony Pollard is viewed as a flex option with upside for 15 touches in favorable game scripts, ranking higher than Tyjae Spears.

Insight page

Tyjae Spears

NegativeUsage70:31

Tyjae Spears is expected to see fewer touches than Tony Pollard in this matchup.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveValue74:34

Wan'Dale Robinson is ranked higher than both Coker and Carnell Tate in full PPR formats due to his safer floor.

0:00This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play!
0:03Can you believe this? He's had no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
0:08Off to the races! And he stays on his feet!
0:11He's just gonna go the distance! Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
0:16Might have to dust off the old worry-o-meter here on this Friday.
0:20Happy Friday everybody, September 11th. And we are recapping San Francisco's 27-7 stomping of the Los Angeles Rams.
0:25I think this would qualify as a stomping. It was the seventh biggest regular season crowd in NFL history.
0:31More than 100,000 people there to see Matthew Stafford's worst fantasy game in almost two years.
0:36Can you guys believe that Matthew Stafford in 2024 had seven games of single-digit fantasy points?
0:41That was surprising to see. And this time he scored 4.1.
0:45Good morning, Jamie! He looked bad. He looked old.
0:48He looked bad. Him or are you talking about like six other guys in that game?
0:52Yes. There were several players that looked like they were washed up.
0:56Hello, Dave. I would agree that it wasn't his best game, but I thought he had a few good throws in there.
1:03Not ready to say. I don't think... And I'm not accusing you of saying this, Jamie.
1:08I don't think he's washed by any stretch, but...
1:11No. First game, rusty, maybe the trip. Like there's reasons for pessimism there.
1:15I'll give you a reason for optimism for Matthew Stafford.
1:18Um, Giants. Broncos, not so good. Philly, oh, that's not so good.
1:22Okay. I guess I just don't have much optimism for Stafford after week two.
1:26No, I mean, yeah, look, let's not overreact. It was a bad game for him.
1:31Um, who are you most worried about here? Look, he goes, look, 27 to seven was the score.
1:36Brock Purdy had a great game. He scored 27.1 fantasy points.
1:40He threw three touchdowns. George Kittle played about half the snaps, but Devante Adams didn't play that much.
1:45Um, Christian McCaffrey was splitting too much with Kalon Black.
1:48Jamie, who are you most worried about in this game, from this game?
1:52I guess probably would be Adams just because of two things.
1:56One, not only the playing time, but also when they were in their 13 personnel, that was a big part of what made him successful last year.
2:04We saw the switch toward the end of the season when they put Puka in that role.
2:09And I don't know why you would take Puka out of that role.
2:14He just has more upside. So, you know, I, I don't think Adams is going to be this bad.
2:19I don't think he's going to be this, you know, uninvolved or continue to be not a huge part of the game plan.
2:27But like, you know, you're counting on him to score touchdowns.
2:30And when he doesn't score touchdowns, as we saw last year, it was bad and this was bad.
2:36So, you know, I, I, the, the touchdowns will come.
2:39They'll probably come in bunches. Don't expect 14, you know, eight plus is probably still on the table, but like this was
2:45the, the, the concern going into the air. If he doesn't score, he's going to be bad.
2:51And he didn't score. So I want to talk a little bit more about that and give you some numbers.
2:57He still, Adams still had a 24% target share, only 25 pass attempts for Matthew Stafford.
3:02So just, you know, nothing really went right for them.
3:05A time of possession, 26 minutes and 10 seconds for the Rams.
3:09But you talk about that 13 personnel. That's one, that's a three tight ends and one wide receiver is going to be in this mix.
3:17Now looking at just, I think it was weeks one through 15.
3:20When Adams played Pukenikua did run more routes than him in 13 personnel.
3:24However, 13 personnel in goal to go situations. When Adams was healthy last year, first 15 games of the season, he ran
3:3113 of the 15 goal to go routes. So like other parts of the field, Puka was in there a lot, but
3:38when they got near the end zone and had one wide receiver on the field, it was almost always Adams last year.
3:45Last night, they ran five plays in 13 personnel goal to go.
3:49And Pukenikua was in on all of them. So I thought that was a huge, potentially huge development for Devante Adams in
3:55a negative way and a good development, obviously for Puka Nakua.
3:59And would have been great if he, you know, is a foot inside the end zone.
4:04Yeah. Puka. Puka. Yeah, he had the little slant on the pick play.
4:08Yeah. And that was right before the goal, the sneak that didn't work.
4:12Right. Yeah. The Matthew Stafford. Matthew Stafford. He's still Matthew Stafford still has one rushing touchdown in his last, well, going into
4:19this year, one rushing touchdown in his last nine seasons.
4:22All right. What did you think of the Christian McCaffrey usage, Dave?
4:25He had 10 carries. Kalon Black, who's 61% rostered, had 14 carries.
4:29Obviously, McCaffrey played more snaps. He had the five catches, but this was weird.
4:34They almost split first and second down snaps evenly.
4:36It was 50% to 46% with CMC having a slight edge.
4:40Coaches were lying to us. They said that they wanted to take some work off of Christian McCaffrey, and they did exactly that.
4:47McCaffrey still had nearly every single high value touch that you could ask for, including all three other snaps inside the five,
4:54nine of 10 snaps on third down. I don't think this is changing.
4:58I think we're still going to see. I think Black has earned himself the right to continue splitting those first and second down reps with MC.
5:06It's not a reason to panic on Christian McCaffrey.
5:09He's still going to be working near the goal line and catching a lot of passes, but it's not.
5:15I think the case for him to be RB one is out the window if he's not getting the majority of the
5:21first and second down carries because you're just taking, you know, potential opportunities for him to break off a long run off the table.
5:29Those can go to Black and Black had plenty of them.
5:32He looked great too. I agree. And so did McCaffrey, which was good because he didn't really look that great running the
5:39ball last year, but they know awesome efficiency in this game.
5:42Well, that's hopefully what you get from him is that, you know, fresher legs.
5:47Yeah, that gives him some, you know, more bigger runs.
5:50I think it just speaks volumes. Two things. One, Kalen Black should be 1000% rostered because you see what the upside could
5:57be if there's no McCaffrey and to Jordan James was inactive.
6:00So if you had any questions about who the number two guy is, it's definitely Kalen Black.
6:05Do we know the roster ship for Kalen Black?
6:08Yeah, he just said it's 61%. I didn't hear it.
6:11I'm sorry. 61% rostered, 1% started, and he's probably, he could be a lot like Blake Corum.
6:17Blake Corum had, he had 10 carries. Kyron Williams had 11, but Kyron Williams played on all the third downs, played on
6:23all the goal line, you know, and that was actually encouraging.
6:27And I, by the way, I would not necessarily expect that to continue the third down thing.
6:32Yes. The goal line thing, not necessarily, but this was an encouraging issue.
6:36You knew he was going to split with Corum, but the fact that he got, I mean, I guess I'm going to
6:43go to the end of the game. It's actually pretty crazy how similar the roles were for McCaffrey and for the, you
6:50know, to the two backfields with like third down and, and goal line stuff going to one guy.
6:55And it was, it was Kyron yesterday. I see a gamer, Eric posted.
6:59I was about to say Corum looked better than Williams.
7:03I agree. It was, it was dramatic. Yes. Like we saw a far more explosive running back in Blake Corum.
7:09There were a couple of plays where I think he left yards on the field, but he also created a bunch of plays.
7:16I think he had like 34 yards, 34 of his yards on four straight plays in the first half.
7:22And I agree with you, Jamie. He looks a lot better.
7:25Wouldn't be surprised if this became a situation where Corum had more of the, between the twenties carries and Kyron handled third downs and goal lines.
7:33He is a more explosive player than Kyron Williams.
7:36One thing Kyron is, is great at though. As I recall, try to confirm is he just doesn't have negative place.
7:43And I don't know if Corum will, but that is one thing that, I mean, last year was his best year.
7:49Maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit, but he's pretty good at avoiding the negatives.
7:53I think you got to be a little bit concerned about what happens to Corum, not from a high end standpoint.
8:00Well, yes, my intent, but if Kyron gets hurt, will they use him as a passing downs guy?
8:06Because they seem very reluctant to do that even in tandem with Williams.
8:10So do we see Ronnie rivers, maybe taking over some of those third down roles, third down opportunities.
8:15If there was a Kyron Williams injury, that wouldn't bother me as much as long as Corum was the guy who they use at the goal line.
8:24Um, which I think is what they would do.
8:26Um, all of Corum's bad runs, I think you can attribute to bad blocking.
8:31He did not seem indecisive at all. The Rams have two good running backs, but I'm very happy to have Corum on
8:38my bench in a bunch of leagues. Depot Samuel 10% started.
8:41We'll see what that looks like next week for the 49ers.
8:44Um, who have the dolphins and they should be able to get the dolphins.
8:49Mike, right. They have Miami and Arizona their next two games.
8:52Or is that like, so they have Miami. Okay.
8:55Yeah. They, yeah, yeah. They have Miami and Arizona with their next two games, Miami, Arizona.
9:00And then they've got Denver and then at Seattle.
9:03Yeah. Washington Atlanta after that. So most of these games coming up for San Francisco are really good.
9:08Cool. All right. And then, yeah, we'll talk about these guys more later.
9:12I think Evans with a good game, but I guess on Wednesday show, I'll, I'll bring up maybe a sell high opportunity
9:19because you didn't have much from Kittle. You know, there's stripling though.
9:23We should talk, you know, just real quick. Stripling hurt his ankle and could miss some time.
9:28Got lucky. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I thought too.
9:32At first. Um, do I drop stripling? I think he definitely dropped stripling.
9:36I mean, come on. First of all, he's hurt.
9:38It's not, don't do it in a dynasty league, but he's hurt.
9:42And I wouldn't drop him yet. I single target.
9:45I mean, you can't drop him. He, he got two separate ankle injuries.
9:49They probably shouldn't have put him back out there after the first one.
9:53His usage early in the game was amazing. Yeah.
9:56So that's what I think you're hanging your hat on here is that they clearly wanted to get him involved.
10:02You're right. Debo played well. Most of that came after dribbling was, was out.
10:06Evans not going to go away. And you know, this was, look, this is a really good defense though.
10:12So despite the fact that they put up 27 points, it's still, you know, one of their tougher opponents.
10:18So if they're going to do this against the Rams, imagine what they could do against dolphins.
10:23I think the biggest reason why you hold on to stripling is if he goes on short term IR, you don't want
10:30to drop him and then have the ability stash him.
10:33So let's just see how this plays out next week.
10:36They have some extra time to figure out what they're going to do.
10:41Um, but yeah, I wouldn't be dropping him just yet.
10:44I want to tip my cap to Jamie for his call on George Kittle.
10:48Kittle played 46% of the snaps at, he was in there.
10:51He was a frequent target on their first drive.
10:54He had four targets on the first drive. And I thought, wow, they really, they really buy into Kittle.
11:00But, uh, I, I didn't think he looked that great.
11:03And I wonder if the coaching staff kind of realized the same thing and they wanted to attack further downfield.
11:09He got one long target and he didn't catch it.
11:13It was in the end zone. Um, but he, I would expect better things from Kittle.
11:17So if you started him and you're disappointed, I don't think the games will be this bad moving forward.
11:23But as long as Evans is healthy and they've got Debo in there too, and they, they ran the ball well in this game.
11:31Yeah. There could be a little bit of a target crunch there.
11:35Yeah. I would buy low for sure on Kittle.
11:37Uh, I, I, what, the way I sort of viewed it was let's get him involved early and see how he looks.
11:44And if he's, you know, doing a lot and having some success, continue it or just get him some targets early and
11:51then get him out of the game. I thought it was interesting.
11:55And clearly at the, at that point they were winning, they just weren't blowing them out.
12:00But when Tom just tried to trip miles Garrett and maybe broke his leg because he's just so big.
12:06Um, but on the leg whip that, okay, now maybe Kittle comes back in and get some more opportunities.
12:12They went right to Farrell. So it was, it was clear that they're just going to be smart with Kittle.
12:18So you have now 10 days till their next game.
12:21They have an opportunity to get him healthier again, you know, hopefully no setbacks.
12:25I think there's a huge buy low opportunity from here.
12:28Mm-hmm. Okay. Well, unfortunately for them, they have to play the soon to be one to know New York Giants Monday night week two.
12:36Uh, no, that'd be the Rams. The 49ers. Oh, you're talking about the, I'm sorry.
12:40I was, uh, uh, okay. Well, I was going to say miles Garrett had zero pressures last night or morning, whatever the heck it was.
12:48And, um, that was his first time since 2018 with zero pressures in a game and he is not fully healthy.
12:55He kind of acknowledged that after the game and that's it for Thursday night football.
12:59No, no, no, no, no. We got a live stream on Sunday.
13:03I have a goal, a goal for our Sunday live stream, youtube.com slash fantasy football today, 11 a.m.
13:09Eastern. I want to set a record. Our most viewed live stream, our most viewed Sunday live stream ever.
13:15I think we can do it. Let's get there.
13:17Join us youtube.com slash fantasy football today. We started 11.
13:20We end just before kickoff all times. Eastern the best time zone.
13:24Not really though. Just not just personal pride, but let's set a record.
13:28Got the mailbag coming up later where, uh, we're going to do some fantasy cops and all that good stuff.
13:34News and notes. Sam Darnold is expected to miss week two, but he thankfully avoided a long-term injury might only miss one game, two games.
13:42They are at Arizona and at Washington. The next two games we'd love for him to be there.
13:48That'd be great for, for everyone. But obviously drew lock, uh, can do enough to a tongue of Iloa has an oblique injury and Cooper rush could start.
13:56And Dave and I talked about this on express yesterday.
14:00We previewed this game yesterday, but let's talk about it and how this would change.
14:04Jamie, I'll give you the first word for Drake London and Kyle pits.
14:08Uh, if Cooper rush is starting instead of to a tongue of Iloa.
14:12I mean, it's going to impact B John as well.
14:15You're, you're still starting all three of these guys.
14:18I don't think you're going to bench them. Um, you know, I, I don't think there's much of a significant drop off for pits.
14:26He's going to run the same routes and probably get a lot of still dump off passes.
14:31So Stefanski will do a lot of things to scheme up his tight ends.
14:35It's what he's always done. And that's why we like Kyle pits in the case of London.
14:41Are you really going to mention, you know, so you see how this all plays out and hopefully Cooper rush just continues to feed him just lower expectations.
14:49Not a great DFS play clearly. And B John again, you know, you're not sitting him.
14:54So nothing really changes. Okay. Cooper rush, um, is, you know, not that good, but it 2020, like last year, he was terrible with Baltimore.
15:02He made one start and it was against Houston and he threw three interceptions the next week against the Rams through for
15:0972 yards on 19 pass attempts and got benched 2024 with Dallas.
15:13His 17 game pace was not that good, but it was not much worse than Atlanta's 17 game stats last year.
15:19So if that gives you any confidence, it doesn't give me at running back.
15:23Josh Jacobs pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal damage to property.
15:28Dave and I broke this down on express yesterday.
15:31And just to sum it up, you know, we don't know what's going to happen here, but he absolutely needs to be rostered.
15:38You might end up with a steal on your fantasy team.
15:41If you took him with a late round picket, there's definitely going to be some time missed, but anytime he's on the
15:48commissioner's exempt list will count toward any suspension that he gets.
15:52It's in the future. Jeremiah love was limited. It's looking like he'll play.
15:56We'll talk about that game today. Both Carolina running backs are looking like they'll play.
16:00We'll talk about that game today. Sean Tucker got in a limited session for the bucks.
16:05Alvin Kamara and Kendry Miller looks like Kamara is going to play this week at Detroit.
16:10We'll see how that impacts Travis. A Chan, Jacory Krosky Merritt was limited in practice there at Philadelphia.
16:16A wide receiver. A.J. Brown is expected to miss at least four weeks.
16:20So that's probably going to be an IR situation for A.J.
16:23Brown. And that's a bummer. Jacoby Myers. Jacoby Myers was limited with a thumb injury.
16:28And yeah, I don't think it's really, I feel like you guys aren't ranking the Jaguars.
16:33Well, Dave, I'll ask you how much would it change your rankings of Parker Washington and Brian Thomas jr.
16:39And Trevor Lawrence, I guess. And Brenton strange, I guess.
16:42If Jacoby Myers were out. If it were out, I don't think it would change that much.
16:47I don't, I don't see Myers being a focal point in a game where they might not throw a lot.
16:53Anyway, Malik neighbors has been practicing in full, apparently looking good, feeling good, but he is not committed to playing.
17:00And he says it will be his decision. Malik neighbors for Sunday night.
17:04No, he said, No, he said it'll be his decision.
17:07He meant Harbaugh. Did he? I think he said it will be my decision.
17:11No, he said Harbaugh. Well, it doesn't really matter because Harbaugh already said that he's ready to go.
17:17I'm almost, I could be wrong. I thought, I thought he said Harbaugh.
17:21Okay. Well, whatever. Tune in Sunday morning. Zachariah Branch for the Falcons limited with a hamstring and Mecca Egbuka is looking good.
17:28He's practicing full. Jalen McMillan still limited. Oh, this is cool.
17:31And this isn't a surprise. I'm kind of knew this, but Matt LaFleur, the head coach of the Packers says, he wants
17:38to get his top three receivers on the field as much as possible.
17:42Don't want to rotate as much as they have in the past.
17:46So that is good stuff. Let me ask you this.
17:49If we, if we're assuming Jacobs is coming back, when, when a Packers wide receiver has a big game at some point
17:56this month, are they sell high candidates? Because the Packers could revert back to being more run heavy in let's call it November and December.
18:03Yeah, maybe, but let's talk about that then, but it's a good thought.
18:07It's a good thought. You are correct. I apologize.
18:10He said it's his decision. Oh, and by the way, Jamie, not to pick on you, but to pick on you.
18:17I got three emails yesterday that said, I said Josh Allen when you accused me of saying Josh Downs instead of Josh Allen.
18:24I apologize. We're going to get the fantasy cops out on Jamie.
18:27For correcting. Did you, did you get the DJ Turner news?
18:31Yes. He's limited. So is Shamar Stewart. That'd be good news for a Mecca Buka.
18:36If, if DJ Turner did not play, that's Cincinnati's top cornerback.
18:39Meanwhile, Alec Pierce was limited with a heel injury.
18:42Dave, how much do you like, you didn't get to talk about this game yesterday.
18:46How much do you like the Colts wide receivers against Baltimore mentioned the Ravens gave up the most big plays last year.
18:53What do you think about the Colts wide receivers?
18:56The Ravens defensive scheme is changing under Jesse Minner.
18:59I fully expect Josh Downs to be the post.
19:02That's the game of the week. Yeah. It's just the game of the week.
19:06Okay. The Colts and the Ravens. Daniel Jones revenge tour, not a revenge tour, but whatever.
19:11It's the game of the week. Hey, might be the worst game of the week choice you've ever had.
19:17It's a pretty bad slate. I was expecting it to be a bad slate.
19:21We had to. We had to like Canada. I mean, all right.
19:25The Saints, Lions. No. Bangles, Bucs. Yeah. You know what?
19:28I still think it could be a double or triple game of the week.
19:32No. For Adam this week. Those two teams didn't even make the playoffs last year.
19:37So what? The Bucs. I was going to go Giants, Cowboys, to be honest with you.
19:42Oh, I'm sorry. The two playoff teams in Baltimore and Indianapolis, right?
19:46Those teams would have made the playoffs if their quarterbacks didn't get hurt.
19:50If their quarterback. They're kickered in. He's Azar standing the playoffs.
19:53No, wait. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. So the Bangles and the Bucs would not have made the playoffs last year if their quarterbacks weren't hurt.
20:01Correct. How many teams make the playoffs in Azar?
20:04Gotcha. I actually know. I actually really think it's going to be a very good game.
20:09I think Bucs Colts going to be. But Bucs.
20:12Oh, yeah. That's the one that everybody's tuning into.
20:14Ravens Colts. They should be. Come on. They should be.
20:17I agree that it's going to be an interesting game and there's a lot to look for in that game.
20:24I don't think it's going to be the fantasy game of the week.
20:28All right. Roma Dunsday was limited. I'm done with the injuries here.
20:31Let's take a break. One question for each game and previewing seven games when we come back on Fantasy Football today.

21:34Terms apply. See site for details. One question for each game featuring Adam and Dave.
21:39We right Jamie, I believe we'll be right back.
21:42Okay. Arizona's at the Chargers rank the wide receivers.
21:44Lad. I think I have Quentin ahead of the Cardinals guys.
21:48The Cardinals guys are very close to each other.
21:51I'll give Marvin the nod. Give me one second.
21:53I'm sorry. I don't have it pulled up. I'm sorry.
21:56I don't know this. I am in mid season form for this, by the way.
22:01Yeah. No, that's tough because you have. Quentin. Hold on.
22:04I've got Quinn Johnson, a nudge ahead of Marvin Harrison and Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson back to back.
22:10Yeah. The lads, the dad. Very interesting game to me.
22:13You know, the Chargers were second best against wide receivers last year.
22:17The Cardinals weren't really that bad. Only three times all season did two wide receivers score 13 or more PPR fantasy points in the same game against them.
22:26But I'm looking forward to getting your thoughts on the game script here because of Heath and Jamie both have Quentin, Justin
22:32Herbert in their top three and you have him ninth.
22:36So we'll talk about that in a bit. Mm hmm.
22:39And none of the only lab McConkie was in the top 24 for Dave.
22:43The other guys, number three receivers. Yes. Green Bay at Minnesota start or sit Marshawn Lloyd.
22:48Did you know that in two games against the Vikings, Jameer Gibbs last year scored a combined 11.8 PPR fantasy points?
22:55Do you see what Emmanuel Wilson did to the Vikings in one game last year?
22:59Yes. He had. That was like 24 carries and 27 points or something, right?
23:04Yeah. He had a monster game and then the next game the Packers couldn't run the ball with a lick.
23:10But I'm, I'm not ready to concede that Marshawn Lloyd is going to be great or bad.
23:15And so I'm couching it with him as a low end number two fantasy running back.
23:20I want to see this Vikings run defense with the changes that they made with their defensive line before I declare them awesome.
23:27Yeah. Because they, they, they've got some younger players up front.
23:31I know the Packers offensive line isn't great, but I wonder if it's enough for Lloyd to still handle a decent amount of work.
23:38I know he's going to be working running down, so don't expect him on third downs.
23:43I still think he's their goal line guy. I don't have high expectations, but he's in that mix of low end number two running backs.
23:51It's the same mix that I would have with, um, Basial Tootin price was in that mix.
23:56The Steelers running backs. Jeremiah love is at the top of that list.
24:00I made a change in one of my lineups last night and I put Lloyd in for DJ more and have PPR league.
24:07Um, so we, uh, you know, we'll see how that goes, but I don't, because I look at, you know, Minnesota's defense
24:14was so good last year and the year before that they were really good too.
24:19And I said it yesterday, one touchdown pass allowed in their last eight games, but I don't think their personnel is all that.
24:26It's not like a star studded defense. So yeah, you know, I don't know.
24:30I think maybe, uh, maybe they're not quite as good as I, as I thought, but anyway, um, Chicago, Carolina starters at
24:37Rome Odunze, if he plays sit, I'm most worried about how the Panthers secondary will line up against perimeter wide receivers this year.
24:44I think they've got some good outside corners. They play a lot of zone, a lot of cover three, and that's not
24:51going to be conducive to a dunze, particularly in an offense that has multiple weapons that can win over the middle of
24:58the field, which is, which is great when it's not deep against cover three, when it's that short and intermediate area, Loveland can win there.
25:06Luther burden can win there. I just, I don't see Romo Dunze having a big game, especially if he's not at a hundred percent.
25:13I think he's easy to sit down. Washington at Philadelphia, which quarterbacks would you start over Jaden Daniels other than obvious ones?
25:20I don't know if it like his Caleb Williams obvious.
25:23No, I guess I mean, are we talking about maybe, are we talking about quarterbacks that were drafted after Jaden?
25:29That's how that's a better way to do it.
25:32Right. So Dak Prescott, for sure. Trevor Lawrence, for sure.
25:35I would have said Stafford. I would have said may.
25:38So don't know if you want to listen to this golf Herbert, all of them ahead of Jaden Daniels, Caleb Williams, one spot ahead of Jaden Daniels.
25:47Would you go to like Tyler Shuck or Baker Mayfield?
25:50No, I'm not there. I Jane Daniels is 12th for me.
25:53Okay. Not expecting huge things, but we know what the upside is.
25:57And I do think Washington will throw a good amount in the game.
26:01Dallas is at the Giants. Why isn't Jackson Dart in your top 12, especially you, Dave?
26:06Because I think this Cowboys defense is going to be better than expected.
26:10I know people look at what the Cowboys gave up last year and said, oh, they stink.
26:15But they've replaced half their defense. Their defense already got better last year once Quinn and Williams got there.
26:21And this is a different Giants offense. I'd be surprised if they took to the air in this game a ton.
26:28When they do, it's going to be mostly neighbors and likely.
26:31And I don't even know how much of it is going to be neighbors.
26:35Is it going to be eight targets for neighbors?
26:38His first game back. They don't want that caps the upside of him on the ground.
26:43I don't think they want him rushing for touchdowns either, unless he's just scrambling in the red zone.
26:49And he did that last year, but they don't even want him scrambling.
26:53So I'm going to try and take a different approach to my quarterback this week and leave Dart on the bench.
26:59Okay. I'm missing one quarterback, but the Cowboys last year obviously faced 17 quarterbacks and at least 13 of them finished top 12.
27:06It was 13 or 14 finished top 12 against the Cowboys.
27:10It's just different. I know. It's a different scheme.
27:13But they were the worst defense in the NFL last year.
27:16So they had a lot of improvement to do.
27:19This is the defense that I'm really looking forward to because there's been a lot of hype about their defense coordinator Christian.
27:26He's come from the Vic Fangio tree, but he's not doing Vic Fangio things with the defense.
27:31So I'm, I'm really excited to see what they do.
27:34And I'm kind of optimistic. Like if I'm a Cowboys fan, I feel kind of good about where this team could go this year.
27:41These saints are at the lions. Starter sit Jamison Williams.
27:45Start. You like New Orleans than the Packers guys.
27:47Yes. You like them better than obviously a dunze.
27:50How about Jamo versus Luther burden? I've got burdened two spots higher in full PPR.
27:55Okay. If it's non PPR, I think you can make the case for Jamo.
27:59For what it's worth, Scott Turner said on reality versus fantasy that he he's expecting a big year from Jamison Williams.
28:06And he thinks it's going to be the, the efficiency of what he does downfield that carries them.
28:11Won't see the same type of target volume as St.
28:14Brown, but we'll do a lot of damage on the catches that he does get, which is par for the course with Jamison Williams.
28:22But he expects his role to evolve even more and be a big part of that Detroit offense.
28:27Okay. And finally jets at Titans again, but we didn't preview it yesterday.
28:31Tony Pollard or Carnell Tate is a better flex.
28:34Tate, especially if catches count. I am not at all excited about Tony Pollard.
28:39I am expecting a split and running back reps.
28:41It could be rundowns, pass downs between him and Ty J Spears, but the offensive line looked terrible in the preseason.
28:48I don't see any reason to be optimistic about it.
28:51The jets really did improve the middle of their defense from the D line all the way to the secondary.
28:57And I, I, I can't say for sure that this game script is going to be favorable for Tennessee.
29:03And even if it is, there were plenty of games last year where Tony Pollard had a bunch of work and still didn't do a lot with it.
29:12I know that there's this five game stretch last year when Tony Pollard was good for fantasy.
29:17I feel like there were only two games there that were particularly good.
29:21And I'm just, I, I it's week one. I know I can find a better running back than Tony Pollard.
29:27He's not in the top 24 for anyone, but Dave is the lowest on Tony Pollard by far.
29:33Jamie has him 27th, he's 26th, Dave 33rd on Tony Pollard.
29:36All right, breaking down Arizona at the Chargers. Stat of the game.
29:40Jacoby Brissett had a nine game stretch where he scored at least 20.7 fantasy points in all nine games and six point per passing touchdown leagues.
29:48And that included at Seattle and then included at Houston.
29:51And in fact, Jacoby Brissett scored the most fantasy points of any quarterback at Houston.
29:56And why did he do it? Because he threw about 43 times per game in that stretch because the Cardinals defense was terrible.
30:03And guess what? Nothing's changed. And now he's got everyone healthy.
30:06So I understand the hesitation, especially in a tough matchup, but maybe a DFS play for Jacoby Brissett.
30:12New defensive coordinator for the Chargers. He was their safeties coach two years ago.
30:16Then he was Western Michigan's defensive coordinator last year.
30:19Yep. Jesse Minter Disciple. So they're keeping Jesse Minter's playbook, but having Chris O'Leary run it.
30:24And O'Leary did great things. I don't know if this is worth anything, Adam, but Chris O'Leary did some great things at Western Michigan last year.
30:32Well, he knows how to defend a Hail Mary.
30:35I'll tell you that. Only he had been there.
30:38I don't know if he does. All right. So who are you?
30:41Other than McBride, are you just being kind of patient?
30:45Would like to avoid love and the receivers? I'm always looking for love, but it's in the wrong places.
30:50And this week it's as a number two running back and a low end one.
30:55I've moved him down. There has to be some trepidation with him coming back from a high ankle sprain.
31:01And if it was truly a high ankle sprain, then you've got to question just how explosive he'll be.
31:07And that's his most defining trait is his explosiveness, his acceleration.
31:10I do think he can do a lot in the passing game for Arizona.
31:15So just because they're going to fall behind doesn't mean that Jeremiah Love is going to be taken off the field.
31:21In fact, I think he'll be on the field way more than Tyler Algier in those types of situations.
31:27And I wouldn't rule out four catches for Jeremiah Love in this game.
31:31Wouldn't rule out necessarily him finding the end zone, but I don't think it will be from the goal line.
31:37Low end number two fantasy running back this week.
31:40You know there's going to be better weeks ahead for this guy.
31:44Some of it has to do with the matchup, but usually it's going to be game script with him.
31:50And it's just how it's going to be for Jeremiah Love where he might not get a ton of carries gets a few catches.
31:57You're hoping he breaks a couple of big plays.
32:00It's what he did in college. And that's how you get your fantasy points from him.
32:05And this was a really good run defense by the end of the year.
32:09Pretty similar personnel, I'd have to say. So it's it could be a very tough matchup.
32:14And you are actually the high guy on Love.
32:17You have him 19th. I moved him down. He's 23rd.
32:20Oh, OK. OK. So would you start? Did you move him behind Quinchon Judkins?
32:25You did right behind him and he's behind him in full PPR.
32:28I believe he's ahead of him in non PPR.
32:31Judkins is. Who's it? Wait, I don't know. I might put love ahead of Judkins because I don't really love the matchup for Judkins.
32:39All right. I'm going to love out of Judkins.
32:41There it is. And then the wide receivers are like in the 30s.
32:45Harrison and Michael Wilson. Dave likes Quentin Johnston better than them.
32:49Start Trey McBride. So Justin Herbert third for Jamie second for Heath ninth for you.
32:53You like him, but not as much. I'm just worried about him doing enough to help you get 20 plus fantasy points and not 30 plus fantasy points.
33:02Are the Cardinals going to be competitive enough to force Justin Herbert into throwing 33 times in the game, totaling three touchdowns in the game?
33:10Of course, it's possible. This is Arizona. Their defense is terrible.
33:13Right. If they don't have Josh sweat, then he's going to have all day to throw the offensive line is going to
33:20be significantly better than how it was for most of last year.
33:24But I'm not ready to say that he's going to go out there and be the best quarterback in fantasy or close
33:31to it in a week where Joe Burrow's taken on the bucks and he's got stud receivers.
33:36Lamar Jackson's back and he's healthy. There's a bunch of other quarterbacks where you can make a better upside case than than
33:43Justin Herbert, but you'd start him over Jaden Daniels.
33:46Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's easy. Cardinals allowed 21.6 or more fantasy points to a quarterback in seven of their last eight games start Omari and Hampton.
33:54I'm assuming that's the only of them are in Hampton Chargers running back.
33:58You're going to start start lab McConkie Quentin Johnston.
34:01How about Quentin Johnston or Jeremiah love? I believe I have Quentin Johnston higher.
34:05Okay, I do. Okay. And you're not going to start a tight end.
34:09Are you it Cardinals only the bank? Well, I mean there's that guy on Arizona.
34:14No, no. I mean for that. We already talked about him.
34:17Only the Bengals were worse against tight ends than Arizona last year.
34:21Mm hmm. But now Charlie Kohler is an interesting DFS dart throw.
34:24How is it? I mean, I how is it not in a joke?
34:28Because I don't think the joke moves as well as he used to, but Charlie Kohler.
34:33I don't want to say anything bad about my guy because last time I said anything remotely close, he was ready to deck me.
34:41So we the hurricanes have to stick together. I'm just saying what I said.
34:45Yeah, I just feel like let me see the most routes that Charlie Kohler's ever run in a season.
34:51It they like 102 last year. They like him.
34:54All right. I'm not you shouldn't start any of these guys.
34:57Yeah, the dart throw is for DFS purposes only your lineup will be different with Charlie Kohler in it.
35:03He might get one catch for 12 yards. Chargers DST is top seven for everybody.
35:08Good start for them because the Cardinals could put up points.
35:11It really wouldn't surprise me, but they'll probably turn the ball over.
35:15All right. That's a game. I definitely have my eye on just want to see again.
35:20You know, I'll just give this stat last time.
35:23This is something to keep in mind. Right. So Michael Wilson, he broke out in week 11.
35:28Marvin Harrison Jr. played in weeks 13 16 and 17 didn't play full games, but he played weeks 13 16 and 17
35:35in those three games after Michael Wilson had established himself.
35:38When Marvin Harrison Jr. was on the field, he McBride and Wilson all had an 18 to 19 percent target share.
35:45It wasn't that many routes was about a game's worth of routes.
35:48I think it was an 18 to 19 percent target share for all of them.
35:53And meanwhile, Marvin Harrison Jr. had three end zone targets.
35:56Michael Wilson had one and Trey McBride had zero.
35:59So can't wait to see how things unfold there.
36:02Green Bay at Minnesota stat of the game. Christian Watson scored single digit PPR fantasy points in all four games that he
36:08played last year against teams that were top 10 at finished top 10 against wide receivers.
36:13One of those games he left early with an injury.
36:16So not fair, but the other three single digit PPR fantasy points the Cardinals and other than McConkie the Cardinals and Quentin Johnston receivers.
36:24Would you like them better than Christian Watson? I already asked that.
36:28I don't think you did. Okay, but I do have Watson ahead of Quentin Johnson and I have Quentin Johnson ahead of the Cardinals wide receivers.
36:36Can you say that one more time? Sorry, Watson, Quentin Johnston, and then back to back Marvin Harrison, Michael Wilson.
36:42Okay. So within six spots of each other as high end number three wide receivers.
36:47And the reason why I like Watson is because we Jacobs is not back.
36:51We don't know what Marshawn Lloyd is going to be as a running back.
36:55And yes, the Vikings defense was lights out last year against the pass.
36:59I think Jordan love and Jamie alluded to this on our show yesterday that he could take more ownership of the offense.
37:06They are trying to trim down who gets targets in this offense.
37:10I think Watson and Tucker craft are going to be the two guys that get the most.
37:15And he's just got huge upside because that's what his game is.
37:19He's a boomer bus type of wide receiver who can win downfield.
37:23He can win with speed. He won with other things last year.
37:26His game improved. So to me, he's a high end number three wide receiver and a candidate for seven targets in the game against the Vikings.
37:34I just think it's, you know, it's kind of weird.
37:38Like obviously you just look at Brian Flores and he's so good, but Minnesota's past defense, they were 12th in yards per attempt.
37:45They were 20th in yards per attempt to wide receivers.
37:48Last year, they saw the fewest pass attempts per game in the NFL.
37:52And they also did a great job allowing, you know, not allowing big plays.
37:56But again, they saw the fewest pass attempts. I've gotten a little more optimistic about the Packers as the week's gone on.
38:03As I look at the Vikings defense, like who's a great player for them?
38:07They have the Dallas Turner. Maybe you can start with Turner and Van Ginkle.
38:12And I, I don't know if Harrison Smith is like still pro caliber at safety, especially after he missed all of camp, but he's pretty good.
38:20Right. They're, you know, looking at PFF and sharp football and where they rate their, their, them up front.
38:26And in the secondary, they're not elite, at least in terms of the way people think of them.
38:31I know they're going to be better than the sum of their parts.
38:35I guess I'm just saying that if the Packers offense is really like a great offense, I think they should be able
38:42to score some points in this game. I really am wondering where they're going to get their pass rush pressure from besides Turner and Van Ginkle.
38:50Because they, like I said earlier, they got younger at the defensive line.
38:54Caleb Banks is, was their first round pick. If he's healthy, he can absolutely be a terror, but I don't know how
39:01healthy he is and how much he's going to play and how effective he'll be in his first game.
39:07I think the, the reason why the Vikings are so dangerous is because they're aggressive and Brian Flores does a lot of aggressive things.
39:14He'll win by the sword and he'll lose by the sword.
39:18That's what they say, right? That's the phrase. So we'll see how love does.
39:22Love hasn't always been great when he's been blitzed and pressured, but I think they're going to throw a decent amount.
39:29I think it's Minnesota that actually ends up being more balanced in this game and runs a little bit more again, giving
39:36a nod to Scott Turner and what he said on reality versus fantasy that he expects that to be the case.
39:42And that Jordan Mason leads the way for Minnesota's run game.
39:45All right. Jordan love is a sit. I'm certainly not sitting here saying that this is a good matchup for the Packers.
39:52I just don't know that it's a terrible one.
39:55Like it, like it was last year. You talked about Marshawn Lloyd.
39:59He's, you know, borderline. He's like 24th, 25th for you and Jamie.
40:03He's 17th for Heath. He's talked about him as a player.
40:06He loves. I think it's kind of in the Ramondre Stevenson.
40:09Well, it's not really because he's not going to be the passing downs guy, but he'll catch a few balls.
40:16He might catch too. All right. He never had a 20 catch season in college.
40:20I double checked it yesterday. I thought he actually did more than that, but he didn't.
40:25He was a long time ago at the senior bowl.
40:28I mean, this is two injuries ago for Marshawn Lloyd, but I remember him looking very good in pass catching drills.
40:35Then he might've made some progress. He had two catches in the preseason.
40:39If you pencil him in for two catches, I think he'll give it to you.
40:44Dave is willing to start Christian Watson. Heath and Jamie are a little more hesitant.
40:48They have him as a number three receiver. Well, I mean, he's a number three receiver for me too.
40:54Just the high end one. Okay. Sorry. I thought it was 23rd, 25th, 25th.
40:58Uh, not that there's a big difference there. Jaden Reed and Matthew golden.
41:02On the other hand, we'll try to avoid this week and just see what happens.
41:07Tucker craft is a start starter set. Kyler Murray.
41:10I would try and avoid him. And I know that people are excited about him going up against green Bay.
41:16And this is another defense that really on paper, like who are their good players?
41:21Because Michael Parsons is out. I don't know. I don't know.
41:24Their pass rush is probably going to be worse than Minnesota's, but I also wonder just how good their run defense is going to be.
41:32And I really loved what I saw and what I read about Minnesota's offensive line in the last month.
41:38And that encourages me for them to protect Kyler Murray, but also to open up lanes for their running backs to pick up chunk yardage.
41:46So I think they want to try and ease Kyler into things.
41:49Jonathan Gannon knows Kyler Murray very, very well. Again, the again, I'm pointing back to the reality versus fantasy show that we
41:56recorded on Wednesday, but Gannon's going to know some things about Kyler Murray and what makes him uncomfortable.
42:02And I would buy into that as a reason to stay away from Kyler Murray and expect him to have a huge game.
42:09I think he can be okay, but I can find at least, I don't know, 14 other quarterbacks that are going to be better than that.
42:17Maybe I should say 12 because some of them have already played, but I'm starting Baker out of Kyler Murray.
42:23I'm going to start Jane Daniels. I'm not going to get cute there.
42:27Uh, golf is ahead of, of, uh, Kyler, but if you want to start Kyler over shock dart Malik Willis, I'm not going to fight you on that.
42:36In fact, I haven't ranked that way. What do you think about their running backs?
42:41I am going to take the chance on Jordan Mason.
42:44I think he's in that range of high end number three running backs, but I would start him over Jonathan Brooks.
42:50I would start him over Jalen Warren, uh, running backs in Denver, one running backs in Washington, running backs in Tennessee.
42:57Absolutely think that there's room for me. He's going to be a touchdown or bus running back all year, but if he's
43:04going to end up getting 15 carries against the Packers defense that we're just not sure if they're any good, I think
43:10he can end up finding the end zone and it sounds like he's going to get a lot of work.
43:17Okay. Number three running back Jordan Mason. I got a lot of questions in the chat about the last two games.
43:23I'll get to them in a minute. Jordan Addison, the second best wide receiver in this game.
43:28I'm sorry. No third best. Uh, he's ahead of Reed and golden, but not Watson.
43:33Jordan. That's how I have it ranked. Okay. I like him as a number three receiver and one reason for optimism.
43:40I don't know how much Kyler Murray is going to throw, but Murray and Addison did work out together this off season.
43:46They seem to be on the same page in camp.
43:49When they do have to throw, I could see both Jefferson and Addison being very good.
43:54And that's easy to say for Jefferson, but Addison shouldn't be discounted.
43:58I don't want to start him this week, but I'm very excited to have him on my bench.
44:04We'll see if I still feel that way. Come Sunday night.
44:07Okay. And Addison, Addison or Jordan Mason. What's the format half PPR.
44:11Hmm. I knew you'd do that. Give me Addison.
44:14Okay. Here's some questions from the last two games.
44:17Jaden Reed or DJ more more Quentin Johnston, Jamison Williams, or Marshawn Lloyd.
44:21Jamo Jeremiah love or Luther burden burden. Chris Godwin, Marvin Harrison, Jr.
44:24Or Quentin Johnston. I believe I have Quentin Johnson ranked the highest of the three over Godwin.
44:30I've got. Yeah, I've got Godwin behind the Cardinals wide receivers chargers or Eagles DST.
44:34I believe I have the chargers higher Algier or Rico Dowdle Rico Suave.
44:38Um, Marshawn Lloyd, Jalen Waddle, Christian Watson instead. Do the youngsters get that reference?
44:43Probably not. If you want to get a taste of the nineties, go on YouTube and search for Rico Suave.
44:49Mm hmm. Lloyd Waddle or Christian Watson standard scoring standards.
44:52Packers or Vikings DST. Uh, Vikings. Jordan Mason or Rico Dowdle.
44:55I don't love either of them, but Vikings, uh, Rico over Mace.
44:59Yeah, that's a, that's a good question there. Lloyd or Montgomery Montgomery.
45:03Mason or no. Lloyd or Mason. I have Lloyd higher than Mason.
45:06Murray or Shuck. I have Murray over Shuck. Addison or Sutton.
45:10That's a good one. I believe they're really close in my rankings.
45:14I am looking right now. I have Sutton at 32 Addison at 34.
45:18Ooh. Okay. Sutton slightly ahead of Addison. Marshawn Lloyd or Kenneth Gainwell PPR.
45:22Lloyd. All right. We're going to take a break.
45:24We got five games left when we come back.
45:27Chicago at Carolina on fantasy football today. Chicago is at Carolina.
45:31And Rico. Suave. That's Jamie's intro music. Jamie's back to the.
45:34Did you change the game of the week? No, I did it.
45:38I mean, that's just. He left. He's out. He's out.
45:41He. Uh, Jamie tweeting the game of the week choice by Adam.
45:45Major was so bad that I left the show.
45:47Is it really that bad? I mean. So bad.
45:50It's a three and a half points. Question for the chat for sure.
45:5447 and a half point total. So that's a, that's a good game.
45:58You know, it's a good game on paper. Okay.
46:01Chicago at Carolina. Um, you know, the other that Dave talked about Odunze being a sit, somebody wants to avoid this week.
46:08Uh, what does that look like, David? Like who have we talked about in the previous games, the Minnesota green Bay game,
46:15the Arizona chargers game that you'd start over Odunze.
46:18Almost everybody that we talked about. It's probably easier for me to say the players that I wouldn't start over Odunze and
46:24that would be Jaden Reed, Matthew golden, uh, Ty Felton.
46:28Okay. All right. And Jamie's even lower running out of players here.
46:31He has a 30. So he has a 39.
46:34So I think you're going to start your bears other than Odunze.
46:38I'm just curious, Jamie. I almost wish they would sit him.
46:41Yeah, they might. He was limited in practice two straight days.
46:45Are you thinking this is going to be a big game for their offense or just let's, we just have to start them.
46:52And you know what, what happens happens. A big game for the bears off.
46:56Yeah. I mean. I mean, you're not benching Colston Loveland.
46:59You're most likely starting Luther burden. You're most likely starting the Andre Swift, like huge games.
47:04No, I just do like, what do you think about you think they're going to have a huge, like, I mean, if
47:11Odunze is out, then that's probably in the neighborhood of eight plus targets for both burden and Loveland.
47:17So that's great opportunities for them. And Swift gets downgraded a little bit because of Mononga.
47:22I was just to see how much they use Mononga, but I'm still starting him as a number two running back.
47:28So yeah, I understand. He's a pretty high a number two running back.
47:32Okay. So Caleb Williams is about about 10th in the rankings ninth for Jamie 11th for Dave eighth for Heath.
47:38And then on the other side, Chicago struggled last year defensively, but Jalen Johnson played only seven games.
47:44They did add Kobe Bryant at safety, but he's on IR.
47:47They had the fourth lowest pressure rate. So I think you've got not that you're starting Bryce young, but this was a great matchup for quarterbacks.
47:55Last year, it was a great matchup for wide receivers.
47:58Ted Rowe McMillan, Ted Rowe McMillan or Luther Burden?
48:01Who'd you like better? I've gone back and forth.
48:04I have Burden as of now. Ted, if Odunze plays, Burden, if Odunze is out.
48:09Is Jalen Coker or Jalen Coker or Devon Vele this week, if you were, for whatever reason, desperate for a wide receiver?
48:16I'd go Coker, but I like both. Coker. Okay.
48:18And then we'll talk about, I don't think we, just the, just the Panthers running backs, right?
48:24That's the last thing. He's had them as sits and Jamie, you agree sit the Panthers running backs.
48:29I would try to avoid it, you know, just not knowing how healthy Jonathan Brooks is and what the split will look like.
48:36I don't think it's a matchup that you fear necessarily, but similar to the Pittsburgh situation, but on a much different scale
48:43because the matchups better for the Steelers. Like, we just want to see what this looks like.
48:48You know, we want to see how these guys are used, what roles they have, who plays more than the other.
48:55If there's an answer, then we'll be happy about it.
48:58If it's a, you know, 50, 50 split and they're alternating drives, then it's going to be frustrating.
49:04So if I had to pick one, I guess I'd lean from a floor standpoint, Hubbard from a ceiling standpoint, Brooks.
49:10Okay. And would you start Jordan Mason over those guys?
49:13Yes. Would you start Romo Dunze over those guys if he plays?
49:17Uh, I wouldn't PPR. Yes. I think you have to.
49:20Okay. All right. So that gives you an idea of how we feel about Carolina.
49:25And, you know, honestly, I thought Darren Waller played pretty well last year.
49:29Curious to see how much he plays. He was like a top five or six tight end last year on a per game basis.
49:36He's 10% rostered. So just maybe he's on the waiver wire show on Tuesday.
49:41There definitely is a world where he takes the thunder away from both Tet and Coker and does it playing a George Kittle-esque 46% of the snaps.
49:49Washington's at Philadelphia streak of the game. The commanders allowed 70 yards or a touchdown to a tight end in six straight games to end the 2025 season.
49:58This team looks very different up front, but should still be pretty bad in the secondary.
50:03That's Washington. I'm talking about. Meanwhile, it doesn't look like Philadelphia is going to have Jonathan Grenard this week.
50:09They still should have a great defense. Have they ruled him out?
50:12No, they have not. Not that I've seen if he obviously makes a big difference, like takes their pass rush from good to very good.
50:20By the way, I will read the questions about the previous game after we do Washington, Philadelphia.
50:25But Jamie, what would you say is the general feel here?
50:29Like big game for the Eagles could be tough for the commanders.
50:32I mean, it should be a big game for the Eagles.
50:36It's really comes down to just how many opportunities are we going to get, which should be plentiful for both Devante Smith and Dallas Goddard.
50:44Now that we don't have AJ Brown part of the Eagles.
50:47So does Dontavian Wicks eat into too much of what those guys are looking to do?
50:52Or is there somebody else? You know, we really haven't heard much about Marquise Brown.
50:57And Mekhi Lemon clearly is going to have a role to what degree we'll see.
51:01You know, is he going to be heavily involved or is he going to just be, you know, a role player to start?
51:09So there's a lot of just moving parts, I think, with this receiving, receiving options.
51:13But you're starting Smith and you're starting Goddard. And obviously Barkley has a chance to have a big game here against a
51:20commander's defense that I think will, I think the Eagles should be playing with the lead.
51:25So that should help Barkley and hopefully, you know, the offensive lines fully intact.
51:29So that's a great situation for him. Really, the commanders, it's Jane Daniels is the only probably, I guess McLaurin.
51:36Those are the only must start guys I think that you're looking at from your lineups.
51:40You know, you maybe have better receivers than McLaurin.
51:43I doubt it. But, you know, you're probably starting him in most cases.
51:47And I don't think you're going the streaming route yet for Daniels because of the offensive line.
51:53Like, you know, it might be a bad game for him, but I'd still start.
51:57Does McLaurin, who's a player that, because this seems like a bad matchup.
52:01He could get shadowed by Quinion Mitchell. I went back and looked at some, some history there and week 16 last year,
52:08he did not get shadowed by Quinion Mitchell, but he could.
52:12I think there was two years ago, if I recall, there was this stretch where McLaurin was just amazing.
52:17And then he played the Eagles and had absolutely horrible game.
52:21But who's some players that were drafted after him?
52:24I'll just throw out some names. You start Marshawn Lloyd or Terry McLaurin.
52:28McLaurin. McLaurin. McLaurin. Quentin Johnson or McLaurin? McLaurin. John Wall.
52:31Chris Godwin or McLaurin? Godwin. McLaurin. Okay. Luther Burden or McLaurin?
52:34Burden. LB3. David Montgomery against the Bills, who were horrible against the run last year, or McLaurin?
52:39Montgomery. Montgomery in non-PPR, probably in half PPR and full PPR.
52:43I've got McLaurin two spots higher. Here's the thing that I would caution you with McLaurin is just assuming that everything that
52:50the commanders offense did last year, is going to be exactly the same this year.
52:54It's not going to be. They're going to move them across the formation.
52:58They're going to design targets for them. They're going to scheme them up.
53:02If Quinion Mitchell's following him, that's a pretty hefty change for what Vic Fangio's defenses usually are.
53:08So if they put him in the slot, for example, Mitchell could follow him into the slot.
53:13I don't know if that's going to happen, but they're also just going to get him out in space and pepper him with targets.
53:20I could see him having like an okay game of seven catches and 80 yards, something like that.
53:26And that's what a good number three receiver can do.
53:29Okay. That'd be a great game. Yeah, that'd be really good.
53:33All right. Jaden Daniels. We already talked about him.
53:35He's just, just inside the top 12 for Jamie and Dan.
53:39Sportsline hates him. Who? McLaurin or Daniels? Probably, but more, more Daniels.
53:43Stefan Diggs is a number four receiver and we're, we're avoiding Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt this week.
53:47I would. I, again, you know, you're just looking at potentially bad game script for a one dimensional running back.
53:53So if he doesn't score, you're going to be in trouble.
53:57Yeah. For what it's worth, the Eagles allowed the fifth most receiving yards per game and the third most receiving touchdowns per game to running backs last year.
54:05So maybe Rashad white can get you some points.
54:08He's sneaky. If you need them. Sneaky, sneaky. Is white going to be who plays in the fourth quarter?
54:14If the commanders are down 20 to 13 or 23, 16, something like that.
54:19And if he is, then yes, very, very sneaky running back.
54:22Underestimate the sneakiness. All right, let's read some questions here and what we'll get to some Goddard questions as well.
54:28Remember, this is from the last two games, pick two and PPR swift, uh, Brees Hall Luther burden.
54:34All parts with the bears. So I think all is the easy one.
54:38And then I still probably go burden. No matter what, I think I'm going to take the running backs burden or T Higgins.
54:45T burden only if a duns days out bears defense or Raiders defense.
54:49These are your choices. I go Raiders. Uh, I might go Raiders too.
54:53I'm going to double check where I have them.
54:56Swift or Travis HN. Assuming both backups are playing, I'd go HN.
55:00I think I'd go Swift. Travis HN. Swift or Hall?
55:03Hall. Brees. Dallas Goddard or Isaiah likely? Likely. Love Goddard this week.
55:06I've got Raiders one spot ahead of the bears.
55:09Dallas Goddard or Michael mayor? Goddard. Love Goddard this week.
55:12Jaden Daniels or Jared golf? Love Goddard this week.
55:15Uh, Jared golf golf over JD. All right. That's it for that game.
55:19Philadelphia DST is a start. Dallas is at the giants.
55:22Uh, Dak Prescott's top seven. You can start him.
55:25Start Javante. Start the Cowboys. What about Jake Ferguson?
55:28No, you guys are saying let's wait on him.
55:31I think he averaged what I think about eight, 8.3 points per game when CD lamb and George Pickens were healthy late in the year.
55:38So we'll see easy to start mayor Jawan Johnson and even Greg Dolcich ahead of Jake Ferguson.
55:44Okay. So that's the Cowboys are pretty easy here.
55:46Giants had a terrible defense last year. Their secondary could be one of the worst in the NFL.
55:52They could. I mean, they could have one of the best pass rushes in football.
55:57Uh, they got some guys and they drafted Arvel Reese in the first round.
56:01They brought in a few like old defensive tackles.
56:04They've done a lot to try and improve, but start the Cowboys and we'll see how this and left tackles out for the Cowboys left guard, right?
56:12Left guard, left guards, left guards out for the Cowboys.
56:15Um, yeah, the, that's the, that's the giants chance of, of finally beating the Dallas Cowboys with Dak Prescott.
56:21I don't know the last time it's happened other than week 18 where he played a half a game.
56:27Um, Jackson dart. Jamie, you are higher on him.
56:30Dave Davis. Last I saw 22nd on dart and Jamie.
56:33He's 18th. He's 18th, but he's not close to top 15.
56:36Jamie's got him 13th. Let's go, man. How much would you drop him?
56:40Jamie, if Malik neighbors does not play. Oh, probably where Dave hasn't about 18th.
56:45Okay. Starters at camp Scadaboo, Dave. I'd start him number two fantasy running back.
56:49I expect him to be the lead back for the giants.
56:53I expect him to be the goal line back for the giants.
56:56And I don't expect Jackson dart to take work away from him at the goal line.
57:01Over the course of the season, there will probably be times where dark does.
57:06I don't know if this is that game with Quinn and Williams front and center on that D line for Dallas, but
57:12Scadaboo should lead the way here in terms of carries and catches for the running backs.
57:17And, you know, just rumbles for a touchdown. He's got a decent touchdown chance.
57:22I don't know what his touchdown prop is, but I can't imagine it's that high of odds.
57:27It's one of those things where this is going to be an interesting backfield to figure out as well, because I don't
57:34know who's going to get the goal line touches.
57:37I don't know who's going to play on passing downs.
57:40I don't know if the giants know yet fully what they're going to do because of just the potential of four guys getting opportunities here.
57:47And this Cowboys defense is dramatically better. It's not just Quinn and Williams.
57:52It's everybody else that they've added this off season as well.
57:55Yep. And so it's, it's probably, you know, like you look at last season's numbers.
58:00This is where you get in trouble by seeing what the fantasy points allowed were when, you know, looking at upgraded personnel.
58:06And the last time he played them was week two and he had a touchdown and did well.
58:12Skadaboo did that. That was the start of his stretch of being a good fantasy option.
58:17And things are just dramatically different since then. So I think when you look like right now, you see 21, he's going to be a few spots lower.
58:26I had, I don't know. I had tootin behind him.
58:29I'd rather start tooting over Skadaboo. This is just one of these games where I think based on where you drafted a
58:36player, you probably don't have anybody better to play over him, but I don't think this is going to be a great game for Kim Skadaboo.
58:44If you look at when Quinton Williams, Quinton Williams joined the Cowboys first game, Ashton Jente had six carries for seven yards.
58:51Then Saquon Barkley had 10 carries for 22 yards.
58:53Then Kareem Hunt had 14 for 58. Then Jameer Gibbs had 12 for 43 and three touchdowns.
58:59But Dave Montgomery had a good game. Then Aaron Jones had 12 for 34 and Jordan Mason had 10 for 29.
59:05Then he missed the, then he missed a game.
59:08I think Quinton Williams came back and week 17 and 18, they struggled against the run.
59:13But the first six games that he played, I think five or 16, whatever it was before his injury, they were great against the run.
59:21So this really could be a tough matchup for Skadaboo.
59:24Now neighbors is one of the biggest question marks here.
59:27If he plays, where are you ranking Malik neighbors?
59:30We have him ranked as if he's playing. So for me, it's, you know, in the twenties, I think you got to
59:36view him as a number two receiver based on the upside, based on the fact that he's been, for the most part, no setbacks.
59:44So healthy through camp and, you know, leading up to this.
59:47George Kittle is a perfect example of player coming back from injury that they could take their time with and be cautious about.
59:54So just keep that in mind. I think if you have great options, you play somebody else over him.
60:00So burden, if there's no Odunze is an easy one.
60:03Um, if you, if you buy into Chris Godwin's opportunity with a, maybe limited, a Mecca Buka, especially no DJ Turner.
60:10Well, we don't know that no DJ. Well, I mean, getting downgraded with a hamstring injury on Thursday is not good, but sure.
60:17You know, again, there's, there's, there's, there's a handful of situations that you can say, okay, maybe this guy over Malik neighbors,
60:24but just understand that what he's capable of doing still, even in a limited snap share.
60:29Could still be great. And he said, he doesn't want to be on a limited snap share.
60:34He said, like, if I play, I want to play my basically full snap.
60:39He didn't say those words, but he's like, why would they limit me?
60:43Then, then that's their decision. It's my decision. Maybe that's what I saw.
60:47Yeah. So he doesn't want to be limited. Um, all right.
60:50So that, so number two receiver, you know, and it's obviously you have, you have to approach it a little bit cautiously.
60:57And Isaiah likely is a top eight tight end seventh or eighth for everybody.
61:01And that is with the expectation that Malik neighbors is playing.
61:05So likely or mayor likely likely, but that's a close one question in the chat.
61:09Likely in likely or Juwan Johnson likely I have likely higher.
61:13Here's a good one. Golf or Dak love both would take Dak golf for me, Ferguson or Kincaid Kincaid.
61:19Kincaid. D.K. D.K. D.K. D.K. or Lawrence. I go Dak was close.
61:22I agree. Neighbors or Quentin Johnston. Hello, Dan. Neighbors.
61:25Dan's face there. I agree. Neighbors. All right. Let's get two more games left.
61:29Cowboys DST, by the way, is right around 12.
61:32Very excited to see Caleb Downs in that game.
61:35Okay. Two games left. I'd say eight minutes. You think we can do it?
61:39I don't know. You're the one keeping time and driving the show.
61:43Start all your lions, right? Yep. Okay. Jamie, real quick.
61:46Rattle off some names. You'd start Jared golf over as these are start of the week.
61:51I would have started him over pretty. So that probably could be a bad one, but Lawrence back.
61:57Um, Caleb. That works. How are we feeling about the saints?
62:00David. Yeah. Okay. Jamie, I'll stay with you. A-chan and Olave are must starts.
62:05Oh, John Johnson. Who would you start John Johnson over?
62:08I would have started him over Kittle. Um, start him over Mark Andrews.
62:12I'd start him over Kincaid. I'd start him over Schultz.
62:15Would you start him over Kelsey? I would not.
62:18Oh, okay. I would. And you wouldn't start him over mayor.
62:21Dave, would you? No, I've got them back to back.
62:24Juwan 11, mayor 12, Kelsey 13. And the stat I gave that I don't know if this is going to, you know,
62:31hold up because they have Detroit has two new safeties this year.
62:35That are going to restart here to start. Yeah, they're going to replace Brian Branch and Kirby Joseph.
62:40But when Branch and Joseph were out last year's five games, you had Kate Otten have seven catches for 65 yards.
62:47Colby Parkinson had five catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
62:50And then you had the Steelers and the Vikings, whatever.
62:53And then Colson Loveland had 10 catches, 91 yards and a touchdown.
62:57He was killing everyone. I get it. But three, three tight ends, Otten Parkinson and Loveland all had 65 or more yards when those two safeties were out.
63:06They have different personnel this year, but they don't have those two safeties.
63:10Right. It's replacement level personnel, maybe a little bit better than that, but not, not guys to fear.
63:15Yeah. And I'm sure that, um, New Orleans is going to look at that and say, let's chase after them.
63:22Let's see what they've got. And then you throw on their, their high pace approach, their fast pace approach on top of that.
63:29And there could really be some binds in that Detroit sector.
63:32And it's not just the safeties, Adam, their corners are a question mark too.
63:36Yeah, absolutely. And that's why we think this could be a high scoring game.
63:41Tyler Shuck is about 16th in the rankings and, uh, Tyler Shuck.
63:45Well, Dave would take Shuck over Dart. Jamie would take Dart over Shuck.
63:49Tyler Shuck or Baker Mayfield? Baker. Baker. I love Baker this week.
63:52Tyler Shuck or... I just did two DFS lineups though with those in my two quarterbacks.
63:57Tyler, okay. Tyler Shuck or Kyler Murray? Kyler, but it's close.
64:01Shuck has a little more upside, but I do have Kyler.
64:04I don't know about that. Higher. Tyler Shuck or Bo Nix?
64:08Shuck. All right. For the Lions. Shuck over Nick and Mahomes.
64:11It's all systems go for the Lions. There's just, everyone's playing this week.
64:15So Jamison Williams, we like, even though New Orleans, they were actually pretty good against receivers last year.
64:21And there were a lot of big time busts against New Orleans, but you know, it's the Lions at home.
64:27We think they're going to have a big game.
64:30So one other thing that's in golf's favor is that Cam Jordan's not expected to play.
64:35That was arguably their second best pass rusher last year.
64:38So it's Chase Young. It's it. Both teams are almost a mirror of each other.
64:42New Orleans secondary, obviously healthier and probably better than Detroit's at this point.
64:46But there, there's definitely room for this to be the game of the week.
64:51I think you messed up Adam. A lot of games can be the game of the week, including Baltimore at Indianapolis.
64:57Sam Laporta or Michael Mayer? The door. The door.
65:00Laporta. Okay. All right. Moving on to our last game.
65:03Jets are- Devon Bailey should probably talk about it.
65:06Oh, okay. Yeah. Devon Bailey is, do I have his roster percentage?
65:10Probably like 10. It's low. 7% as of- Yeah.
65:12This is going to be one of these guys you're going to want to pick up after this game.
65:18Because last year he averaged over six targets per game in his final four after they traded to he averaged over 11 PPR points per game.
65:26And there's no Jordan Tyson. This game has shootout potential.
65:29So somebody is going to step up. It might not be him, but he's the most logical one.
65:35No, he's the reason he could ruin Juwan Johnson.
65:38Yep. And he's got a good schedule. You might want to pick him up now.
65:43That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Oh, okay. He's got Detroit this week, Baltimore next week, Raiders, Falcons, some, some good opportunities there
65:49for vales, you know, not like he's an amazing player, but yeah, he, he is now, yeah, he's still 7% roster.
65:56Okay. Lastly, we have the jets and the Titans.
65:59Both teams were, why'd you save? Why'd you put this game last?
66:02This should have been first. Both teams were bottom five in defense in 2025.
66:07I try. I don't always, I don't order the games based on like, oh, this is the best game.
66:13I order them in the ones that have the toughest calls.
66:16And we need to talk the most about at the top of the show.
66:20This one doesn't really have, in my opinion, tough calls here.
66:24Like Brees Hall is a must start and Garrett Wilson is a must start.
66:28And being sarcastic. Okay. No, no, no. I just want to call it a tough calls probably for some people.
66:34They are. We did actually talk about them in the one question for each game, but yeah, he, Dave prefers Tate to Pollard.
66:42Who do you like better as a flex? Pollard.
66:44You like you. Yeah. Dave's a low guy on Pollard 33rd.
66:48You have him 27th. He has him 26th. Uh, what, what do you, I guess, like more about Pollard?
66:54You're not saying he's a start, but he's a flex.
66:57Yeah. I think anytime that they're going to have a favorable game script, which isn't going to be very often, but this
67:04is one of them that you're going to see that Pollard will get probably more playing time and more touches than Tyjee Spears.
67:11I don't know if that's necessarily the case in losses that could clearly still happen that they favor Pollard, but he closed last season playing well.
67:19I don't think the Jets run defense is going to be great.
67:23They'll be better than what it was after they traded Quinn Williams, but I just don't think it'd be great.
67:29And so take some pressure off of cam Ward, run the ball.
67:32This is going to be an interesting game just based on how whatever is left of the personnel that Robert Sala knows,
67:39uh, he'll find ways to hopefully, you know, give Brian Day bowl some opportunities to attack that.
67:45I think just Pollard is in that range of running backs for me, which starts with like Scadaboo and Judkins of guys
67:51that can get in the neighborhood of 15 touches.
67:54And if you're looking at matchups, his matchup is more favorable than Judkins and more favorable than Scadaboo.
68:00And someone had a comment, it makes a sit them all or something like that.
68:04This game is going to be bad and it's possible, but also remember that these defenses could be bad.
68:10So you might have more points. It's only a 38 and a half point total.
68:15That's super low. So that's like you said yesterday about, yeah, we wish the Jets, Titans, Raiders and Dolphins were all playing different teams.
68:22A hundred percent. Yeah, exactly. Um, we wasted the good surprise on you.
68:26And, uh, yeah, so the Jets were second worst against running backs last year, but they added to Vandre sweat.
68:33They added to Mario Davis. They should be an improved unit there and a Carnell Tate or Michael Wilson, Wilson, Carnell Tater Devon Valey.
68:40That's the range where I have him, but I would still go Tate with upside.
68:45Tate. Ooh, this is a good question. Lavernius Coles or Richard Matthews?
68:49I mean, that's a disrespect to Coles. He had a much better career.
68:53I, uh, I actually sold my Lavernius Coles rookie card collection this off season.
68:57Nice. Yeah. Did you go to the vending machine afterwards?
69:00I don't get it. People bought that. I was thrilled that somebody bought it.
69:04That's what I'm saying. You got change. Oh, I went out and I got the, uh, the, the best fast food burger
69:11I could get with the money I made from the Lavernius Coles.
69:15I went to a fast food place last night and it, it was $15 for a burger combo.
69:20Oh man. I can't even get that. That's insane.
69:23J Mo or Parker Lavernius Coles, uh, Ricky card collections.
69:26The equivalent of Adam's game of the week choice.
69:29We'll, uh, we'll end the game. We'll end the show with questions from the last two games.
69:34J Mo or Parker Washington? Parker, but I would like to start both.
69:38I would love to start both. Parker, if it's full PPR.
69:42Brees Hall or Drake London? Brees. Yeah, let's go Brees.
69:45Adonai Mitchell or Michael Mayer? Mayer. Mayer's safer. DeAndre Swift or Brees Hall?
69:49Brees. Brees. Vele over Harvey and Kincaid? Ooh. Yes.
69:52I might consider Kincaid over Vele. If it's full PPR, Vele is safer.
69:56Titans DST or Eagles DST? Eagles. I appreciate you guys letting me be excited about Brees Hall because it's been a long
70:03time since I've been excited about him, but I said all off season, he's going to have a good week one.
70:09Okay. Well, you know, we, we probably should mention that there's been a lot of times over the last few years where
70:16Jeffrey Simmons has, has anchored a great Titans run defense.
70:19It's not going to be easy for all. It didn't really happen last year, but you know, he, he did anchor a
70:26great run defense at one point, you know, a lot of times Pollard or Marvin Harrison, Jr.
70:31in PPR. Marv Harrison. Wondell or Coker. Oh God, I have to talk about Wondell Robinson.
70:36Yeah. Wondell or Coker. Good question. I have Wondell higher in full PPR.
70:40Wondell or Tate? Uh, Wondell's probably safer, but Tate has more upside.
70:44Oh no. I have Wondell higher. If this game were on Monday night and, uh, which would be bad.
70:50And I was down by seven and a half points and I had both Wondell Robinson and Carnell Tate.
70:56I think I'd probably start Wondell. Yeah. If I were down by 13 points, I'd start Tate.
71:01Yep. Right. Okay. We are out of here, folks.
71:04We got mailbag in about an hour, 10 45 AM.
71:07If you're watching live, we'll be recording that. Oh, we got, we got a good thing for Dan.
