A.J. Brown

PositiveDepth Chart5:39

Parker Washington notes that AJ Brown has taken over as one of the top two receivers for the Patriots.

Insight page
PositiveRole5:39

AJ Brown has taken over as one of the top two receivers for the Patriots and is expected to be targeted quite a bit this season.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

PositiveBreakout11:45

Adonai Mitchell is a recommended stash candidate who could emerge as the team's number two target-getter in a high-volume passing offense led by Geno Smith.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeUsage38:24

Starting Blake Corum is discouraged for Week 1 because his role is currently unknown.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

NegativeValue77:20

Brian Robinson Jr. is not considered a top-28 running back by the analysts, as the weakened offensive line and potential for poor game scripts limit his upside compared to other running backs in his draft range.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

NegativeValue40:19

Dave ranks Purdy 13th, while Heath and Jamie rank him 17th; he is considered a startable option but behind several other quarterbacks like Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveSleeper15:02

Caleb Douglas is a 28% rostered wide receiver listed as a starter for the Dolphins; the speaker notes the Dolphins' early-season schedule against suspect secondaries makes these receivers worth monitoring.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveSleeper14:10

Chris Bell is highlighted as a potential waiver wire pickup, currently 25% rostered and listed as a starting wide receiver for the Dolphins, though the team's depth chart is noted as potentially unreliable.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeValue12:07

The speaker notes that having Christian McCaffrey on a roster generally leads to a very good fantasy year, though they express a personal preference for avoiding first-round picks as their most-rostered players to mitigate risk.

Insight page
PositiveProjection36:55

McCaffrey is preferred over Kyren Williams as a start for Week 1.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeRole67:35

The panel sells the idea that Chuba Hubbard will maintain the lead role over Jonathan Brooks.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

PositiveValue4:15

Dave notes that he ended up with a high number of shares of Cortland Sutton across his teams.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveProjection75:56

If Dalton Kincaid plays his highest snap percentage of his career this year, he is projected to be a top-eight to top-10 tight end.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

NegativeMatchup16:46

Dalton Schultz is mentioned as a late-round tight end option, though the speaker notes his week-one matchup is less favorable compared to Juwan Johnson.

Insight page
PositiveValue55:33

Heath recommends starting Dalton Schultz over George Kittle in full PPR formats for Week 1.

Insight page

Darnell Mooney

PositiveRole10:37

Darnell Mooney is expected to play more snaps and earn more targets than Malachi Fields, especially with the potential for the team's WR1 to have a limited snap share in Week 1 against Dallas.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveValue12:07

The speaker identifies Davante Adams as one of their most-rostered players, noting they have drafted him heavily alongside other high-profile veterans like Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, and Travis Kelce.

Insight page

Demario Douglas

NegativeUsage5:49

Demario Douglas is expected to transition into more of a role player this season compared to his larger role in the Patriots' offense last year.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

PositiveRole11:04

Dontayvion Wicks is a viable early-season option due to his familiarity with the offensive system, potentially earning more targets and opportunities than other depth receivers.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection76:52

Drake London is unlikely to be a top-12 wide receiver while Tua Tagovailoa is starting, though the expectation is that the quarterback situation in Atlanta will change to Michael Penix Jr. eventually.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveValue3:56

Dave reports having a high volume of shares of Drake Maye across his leagues, noting he is excited to see him play against Seattle.

Insight page
PositiveProjection6:40

Drake Maye faces a much better opportunity this season compared to last year's struggles with a beat-up offensive line and inferior receiving core; he is expected to have a solid game.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeProjection55:09

Kittle is ranked around 13th among tight ends; there is uncertainty regarding his snap share, though he has a history of success against the Rams.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

NegativeUsage5:49

Hunter Henry is expected to transition into more of a role player this season compared to his larger role in the Patriots' offense last year.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeValue72:39

Jake Ferguson is a sell in non-PPR formats and carries risk in full PPR. He averaged only 8.7 fantasy points per game in 13 games with CeeDee Lamb last season, compared to 18.6 points per game without him. While he had eight touchdowns and over 100 targets, he is a non-factor when the offense is healthy and should not be a priority waiver add unless Lamb or Pickens suffers an injury.

Insight page
NegativeProjection72:39

The panel sells the idea that Jake Ferguson will finish the season ahead of Mark Andrews, though it may be close in full PPR formats.

Insight page

James Conner

NegativeInjury4:10

Dave notes that he drafted James Conner in several leagues and immediately placed him on the IR.

Insight page
PositiveValue13:56

The speaker suggests that if a fantasy manager has an open IR spot, there is no harm in picking up James Conner while he is designated as injured.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveMatchup82:14

Jameson Williams is preferred over Rhamondre Stevenson as a start for the current week by some analysts.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveValue77:20

Jayden Daniels is a high-upside quarterback target who has been falling in drafts, often available in the 7th-10th round range. Despite concerns about the Commanders' offensive line, his athleticism allows him to escape pressure, and he offers top-three quarterback potential at a discount.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeValue3:36

Dave notes that despite his intentions to draft Jalen Waddle, he ended up with fewer shares than he initially expected.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveValue4:06

Dave mentions that he has stashed Jonah Coleman in a significant number of his leagues.

Insight page
NegativeRole68:21

The panel is skeptical that Jonah Coleman takes over the Denver backfield by Week 4, though they are more open to the possibility by Week 14.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveProjection47:18

Downs is a potential start in PPR formats, with a favorable matchup against a Ravens defense that allowed many big pass plays last year.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveMatchup16:46

Juwan Johnson is recommended as a week-one streamer or late-round tight end option, with the speaker noting he has a more favorable matchup than Dalton Schultz.

Insight page
PositiveProjection56:51

Jawan Johnson is a viable start ahead of George Kittle due to the uncertainty surrounding Kittle's role and the Lions' historical struggles against tight ends.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveValue2:18

Parker Washington reports that Kyle Pitts is tied with Sam LaPorta as his most rostered player across his redraft leagues.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeProjection37:26

Kyren Williams is viewed as an RB2, ranked around 16th to 20th, consistent with his draft position.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeProjection72:39

The debate over whether Jake Ferguson will finish the season ahead of Mark Andrews is close, with a slight lean toward Andrews in non-PPR formats.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeUsage44:02

Lloyd is a risky start for Week 1 due to reports of a committee backfield and his limited experience; Chris Brooks may see significant work if the Packers are chasing points.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

NegativeDepth Chart11:33

Mason Taylor is a tight end option, though there are likely better alternatives available on waiver wires, and he faces competition from Kenyon Stiegel for playing time.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveValue7:12

Matthew Stafford is preferred over Drake Maye as a start for fantasy lineups.

Insight page
PositiveProjection40:02

Stafford is ranked third among quarterbacks by Dave, who prefers him over Brock Purdy and Patrick Mahomes for Week 1.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeValue42:15

Heath ranks Evans as a WR3 and is actively trying to avoid starting him in Week 1 due to concerns about the Rams' improved secondary and pass rush.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeValue3:42

Dave notes that he only managed to acquire Parker Washington in two of his 14 leagues.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeRole66:57

The panel is split on whether Stevenson will remain the lead back all year, with Heath suggesting it could be a committee with Tyquan Thornton for a week or two.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup82:07

The decision to start Rhamondre Stevenson over Jameson Williams in PPR formats is considered a close call for the current week.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveRole5:39

Romeo Doubs has emerged as one of the top two receivers for the Patriots and is expected to see significant target volume.

Insight page
PositiveDepth Chart5:39

Parker Washington notes that Romeo Doubs has taken over as one of the top two receivers for the Patriots.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveValue2:10

Parker Washington identifies Sam LaPorta as his most rostered player in redraft leagues, tied with Kyle Pitts, and notes he holds more shares of LaPorta in Dynasty formats, declaring him the 'king' of his rosters this year.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue13:41

The speaker mentions they purposely drafted Saquon Barkley this year, contrasting it with their previous lack of exposure to him in earlier drafts.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeValue77:20

Terry McLaurin has fallen outside the top 24 wide receivers in recent drafts, partly due to concerns about the Commanders' offensive line and the signing of Zach Ertz.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

NegativeValue85:48

Tyler Allgeier is 63% rostered and listed as the number one running back on the depth chart, but he represents a frustrating fantasy profile: too good to drop but not good enough to start, as he relies heavily on touchdowns to provide value.

0:00This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play!
0:04Can you believe this? He's had no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
0:09Off to the races! And he stays at his feet!
0:12He's just gonna go the distance! Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
0:17What's up everyone? Today's Wednesday. Not a lot going on tonight.
0:21Normal day. Right? Just chillin'. Playing fantasy football. Oh, it's Week 1!
0:25Let's go! Yeah! Yeah! There we go. It's 2026.
0:28Took long enough. Season's here. On a Wednesday. Yeah.
0:30Hey Heath, you feeling it? You feeling this vibe?
0:33I'm really, really excited. We need a new team name in our Leftovers League.
0:38Oh, I'll name it right now. Yeah, work on that.
0:41The Care Bear. Uh, I've been going through and naming a few of my teams.
0:46I haven't, uh... Um, I haven't gotten very far, though.
0:50Yeah, same here. Same here. I'm in a real rut there.
0:53All right, today we're gonna talk about some roster trends.
0:56Players we've been picking up. Players who are barely rostered.
1:00That you might want to add to your team, especially if you've got an open spot and someone's on IR or PUP.
1:07Oh, news and notes. San Francisco at the Rams.
1:10Game in Australia on Thursday. We'll tell you who to start and sit.
1:14How many 49ers can you trust? We have an update on George Kittle.
1:18And we'll do some buy or sell as well.
1:21Who is your most rostered player? I'm gonna throw it to the guy that has the spreadsheet that tells him who his most rostered player is.
1:30And this segment is sponsored by Sam Laporta. Sam Laporta.
1:33It, you know, it was a tight, tight race all the way down to the stretch.
1:38In redraft, I actually ended up with a tie between Sam Laporta and Kyle Pitts.
1:43Um, but I do have more Laporta in Dynasty than Pitts.
1:47So, as I believe, as I've looked at the rosters, Sam Laporta is the king this year.
1:52Okay, there we go. Sam Laporta. And I finally got my first share of Sam Laporta the other day.
1:59And obviously, I thought of you. And I will think of you every time his name is mentioned on a broadcast.
2:06Thanks. Yeah. Dave, who's your most rostered player? What, who are you going to, which player are you going to think of
2:13me when their name is mentioned on a broadcast?
2:16Probably Jalen Waddle. I did not get as much Jalen Waddle as I thought I was going to.
2:22Same thing with Parker Washington. I went through my teams.
2:25First of all, I'm in 14 leagues, which I'm embarrassed by.
2:29And only, uh, like two of them. I got Parker Washington.
2:32I didn't even count how many I had, uh, Jalen Waddle.
2:36And you know who I have a lot of is Drake May.
2:40I ended up taking Drake May in a bunch of leagues.
2:43So tonight it'll be fun against Seattle. Um, otherwise I, you know, stashed Jonah Coleman in a ton of leagues.
2:50I drafted James Connor and then immediately put them on the IR in a handful of leagues.
2:55Cortland Sutton's on a bunch of my teams. So that's, that's funny.
2:59Talked up Waddle. Ended up Sutton. Uh, you know, I think just to revisit tonight's games, we previewed it yesterday, but I
3:07mean, this is a thin secondary now for Seattle because it doesn't look like even where he's going to play.
3:13Another one of their starting safeties is out. Another one of their starting safeties is on the bears.
3:19One of their qualities on the IR. Yeah, he's on the IR.
3:23One of their cornerbacks. Rick Willen is on the Eagles.
3:26So they still have some talent there. They still have like probably three very good defensive backs, but it's not quite the same.
3:34So, and what else isn't the same? The Patriots receiving core is definitely not the same.
3:39AJ Brown is on this team. Romeo Dobbs is on this team.
3:43They have taken over as the top two receivers.
3:46I expect them to be, uh, targeted quite a bit.
3:49And then you've got guys like Hunter Henry, DeMario Douglas, they'll pitch in.
3:53They were bigger parts of the offense last year.
3:56And now this year, they're going to be more of role players.
4:00So it's definitely interesting. And I do think it's a much better opportunity for Drake May than what he had to deal
4:08with limping into the Super Bowl last year with a beat up offensive line, inferior receiving core.
4:13I think the Patriots win. And I think May is a solid game.
4:17Wow. Oh, I want to share that. My bold prediction that I gave on, on our HQ slash CBS Sports Network show yesterday.
4:25I know it didn't air on CBS Sports Network, but, um, same kind of show, uh, as Jamie will hop on here.
4:32Um, excuse me, uh, just real quick. Would you start Matthew Stafford or Drake May?
4:37Stafford. Stafford. Jamie? Uh, Stafford. Hey, there he is.
4:40Uh, Heath, I believe, especially now that the Chiefs, left tackle looks like it's going to be out.
4:46I think the Broncos are going to absolutely stomp the Chiefs and win by at least 10 points Monday.
4:52I don't know if it will be, I mean, first off, 10 points is not a stomping.
4:58Um, but also I think it, it currently looks like the craziest line of the week to me that the Chiefs are
5:05still two and a half point favorites against a team that was better than them last year.
5:10Probably did more to get better this year. And the Chiefs don't like have an offensive list.
5:16This is, I I'm expecting like Tampa Bay Super Bowl.
5:19Yeah, right. Exactly. Yeah. Yes. Okay, good. Um, all right.
5:23Uh, Jamie, who's your most rostered player? My most rostered player is probably a tie in some capacity because I don't have the exact number I did.
5:31It's on the site of all the drafts I did prior to the slow drafts and the couple of drafts that happened this weekend.
5:39So it was probably like 20 of the 28 I did.
5:43Um, I think at that point it was Luther Burden, DJ Moore, Jonah Coleman, Jalen Coker.
5:48They were all like in the same six, seven, eight range of leagues.
5:52Okay, good. I think we can retire six, seven.
5:55I was going to do a six, seven thing there, but I think it's pretty much.
6:01That's why I said eight. Yeah. They appreciate that.
6:04Yeah. Uh, Dave and I both have 14 teams and we both are like, gosh, we have so many teams.
6:10Jamie has that, that combined 28 teams. How many for you?
6:14I have 28 teams. 28. Wow. That's weird. Crazy.
6:1718 redraft 10 dynasty. Okay. The dynasty ones are easier in season, right?
6:21I mean, oh, no, they're not. I mean, they are for, they are for you because all of your teams are tanking.
6:28So there's not as much, there's just not as much waiver wire.
6:32Right. I mean, that's the, that's the hardest part of fantasy is, is when you have this many leagues is Tuesday night
6:39and Wednesday night, making all your waiver claims. This might be why your dynasty teams are tanking.
6:45No, come on. You can't tell me that there's as many players to pick up in dynasty leagues.
6:51There are some, but not as many. Well, I mean, there's, there's more trade thought.
6:56There's more, you know, um, like he, he does a great job with the one dynasty league that he commissions or one
7:03of the two that he commissions and I'm in with him.
7:07Of having as an IDP league. So there are a lot of movement on that front more so than the offensive players.
7:14Okay. Well, I can't speak to that. Uh, if you had to guess, if you can, you co-manage that team with me.
7:21Yeah, sure. If you had to guess my most rostered player, there's, I think it's a tie between two.
7:27No, unofficial. Christian McCaffrey and yeah. Devante Smith. Different Devante, Christian McCaffrey and Devante Adams.
7:32A lot of Devante Adams. I am super old this year.
7:36Drafted a team yesterday with McCaffrey, Derek Henry, Travis Kelsey, and Devante Adams.
7:40So let's go. So I, I try pretty hard to make sure my most rostered player is not a first round pick.
7:47Um, that's like the, the one thing that I would like to not have happen because if, I mean, if Christian McCaffrey
7:54script, Christian McCaffrey, you're going to have a very good year.
7:58Like you did last year. Um, well, I don't know if you had a good year or not.
8:04It was okay. It wasn't okay. Yeah. Um, but man, like you can't, if Sam Laporte is bad this year, I'm not
8:11going to lose all my leagues because of it.
8:14Yeah. But if you, a first round pick is wrong.
8:17Yeah, I agree. I did. I did. We talked about it yesterday that, uh, I didn't have any Saquon Barkley.
8:24I purposely drafted Barkley. There you go. Uh, who have you been picking up lately guys?
8:29It's ads and drops. Uh, first of all, go to your league and look for players that are on IR.
8:36I mean, there's James Connors on IR. You saw him in a few leagues.
8:40There's no harm. If you have the open IR spot, there's just no harm.
8:45Your guy who Pacheco. Yeah. I mean, you're not getting Pacheco in a league with me.
8:50Malik Davis. Okay. Not bad. Chris Bell. Chris Brooks and George Halani been the three that I've picked up the most.
8:57Yeah. Halani is a good one. But you got to get him before the game tonight.
9:02With Chris Bell, he's 25% rostered. Caleb Douglas is 28% rostered.
9:06These two guys were listed as the starting wide receivers for the Miami Dolphins.
9:10They are at Las Vegas, at San Francisco, Kansas City to start the year.
9:15Those are secondaries that might be a little suspect here.
9:18And those are, you know, at least San Francisco and Kansas City could be scoring points on, well, maybe Raiders too.
9:25Anyway, setup's not bad here for these Dolphins receivers.
9:28Definitely. Yeah. Who do you prefer between Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell?
9:32Bell. Bell for now, but... Yeah. I think somebody said the Dolphins listed too many starters on their starting offense.
9:39They have 12 starters listed, so one of those wide receivers.
9:42Good luck. Jeez, they're pulling out all the stops.
9:45Well, I just decided, you know, they can play with 12.
9:49Yeah. Okay. I've been picking up Devon Vele. He is 6% rostered.
9:53That's a good one. And Jalen Knoll is 5% rostered.
9:56And I think if you look at the Saints and the Texans, you have basically the same situation.
10:02The number two receiver, Jaden Higgins and Jordan Tyson are out.
10:06We like the tight ends as kind of late round picks or week one streamers.
10:10Based on last year, Juwan Johnson has a much better matchup than Dalton Schultz.
10:15But then you got these other receivers that might do something.
10:19Devon Vele had five to eight targets in four straight games to end his season.
10:24And, you know, I'm pretty much... I'm only considering playing him in deeper leagues, but take a shot on him.
10:30And Jalen Knoll is another guy that... There's one more, too, in the same vein as Darnell Mooney with Slayton getting cut.
10:37And Malachi Fields might be the number two guy, but I think Mooney's going to end up playing more and probably getting more targets and opportunities.
10:46We like the tight end. We obviously like the number one receiver.
10:50The number one wide receiver may not play his full snap share in week one against Dallas.
10:55So I think Mooney's another guy in that same category.
10:59And then Freddie in the chat just said a name that I was going to mention also.
11:04It's Duntavian Wicks. Like, Makai Lemon may be good, may eventually become that guy that I'm sure the Eagles are hoping for and fantasy managers were drafting.
11:13But Wicks comes to this offense with the familiarity of the system from Green Bay.
11:18And there's a chance that he may get more targets and opportunities early in the season.
11:23So there's like a few of these scenarios that you mentioned, Adam.
11:27You know, the two that you brought up. And then Wicks and Mooney were the number two receiver.
11:33Could kind of be this, you know, name that we don't want to really rely on.
11:38But or veteran that we don't want to rely on, but could be somewhat prominent early in the season.
11:45What's Adonai Mitchell's roster ship? I'm going to guess it's right in that same exact sense.
11:50Yeah, that would be one that I would gravitate toward.
11:53I was going to suggest Mason Taylor or Darren Waller.
11:56But that's if you need a tight end. And even if you need a tight end, you can probably find a better name than that on your way.
12:06Where are Greg Dulcich? A.J. Barnard. They're out there in a bunch of leagues for sure.
12:11And Kenyon Stiegel eventually overtake Mason Taylor. But I love what I've been reading about Adonai Mitchell.
12:16I remember what Scott Turner said about Mitchell when we talked to him earlier in the offseason.
12:22Looks like he could be the number two target getter.
12:25And we know Geno Smith likes to sling it.
12:28So I don't mind stashing Adonai Mitchell and just seeing what happens.
12:32Adonai Mitchell is 15% rostered. I was wrong about that.
12:35Way off. Yeah. Sundays are obviously important fun days in the fantasy community.
12:40And we will have a live stream for you on YouTube from 11 a.m.
12:44Eastern until 1 p.m. Eastern. When there are games in Europe that start at 9.30 a.m., we'll have, I think we go
12:518.30 to 9.30 and then noon to 1. That could be to be determined.
12:56But we'll have early content for you there. But two hours of starter sit every Sunday morning.
13:02Additionally, just tune in to CBS Sports HQ. Because Dave, Jamie, and Heath will be there on Sundays.
13:08And you should be tuning into it anyway because it's the best sports coverage.
13:12It's, you know, real sport. The kind that we grew up on.
13:16That we used to love. That made us into huge sports fans.
13:20That's what CBS Sports HQ does. Watch it on the CBS Sports app.
13:24Dave has a fun show on Wednesdays. I'm going to let you tell us about it, Dave.
13:30It's a show that I'm doing with Scott Turner.
13:33We're going to talk about all the most challenging topics that fantasy managers have going into the week.
13:39So questions that we come up with from Sunday through Tuesday.
13:42We're not sure how to lean on a certain player.
13:46We're going to lean on Scott Turner to give us insight from someone who's called plays for a long time in the NFL.
13:53So that will be on YouTube on Wednesdays at some point.
13:57You need to be subscribed to the channel and to get alerts to know exactly when it comes out.
14:03But I'm expecting it to be a lot of fun and very helpful.
14:07Speaking of a lot of fun, are you still in the middle of your promos?
14:12I was going to say real quick, yes, subscribe.
14:15What do you have me for doing? Subscribe to the channel.
14:19Like the video if you can. And, you know, I was looking on Apple Podcasts.
14:24One of our most recent reviews is a two-star review that says, I think it says, nope.
14:29And then the description is dorks. So if you wouldn't mind, it made me laugh.
14:34Leave us a five-star review. That would be really helpful for us.
14:38Tell people why you like the show. And for the mailbag, we'll actually answer your questions if you leave a five-star review on Apple Podcasts.
14:46But you're going to want to do that on probably Monday or Tuesday because they take a while to populate.
14:53We'll also read some Spotify comments as well. But please give us good reviews.
14:57I know, look, obviously we're happy to have a big audience, but we still want to keep growing.
15:03Go ahead, Heath. I just want to celebrate something because I've been waiting all summer for this moment.
15:09And it's finally here. Adam, would you like to guess who the high guy on Kyle Pitts is this week?
15:16It's Jamie. No. It's not. It's Dave. How about that?
15:19It's Dave. Dave. It's got to be me. How much higher am I than you guys?
15:24Just a spot higher than me and I think two higher than Jamie.
15:28You guys suck. I can't believe you don't even like Kyle Pitts.
15:32I don't even know who you guys are anymore.
15:35All right. We're going to take a break and we're going to talk.
15:40By the way, the Dolphins did list 12 starters.
15:43Could they have three receivers, a fullback, a tight end?
15:4612 versus 11? Could they beat the Rams with 12 on 11?
15:50No. I hope so. I don't think they could, even with 12.
15:54I think so. They're 12. 12 on both sides?
15:57No, no, no. 12 for the Dolphins, 11 for the Rams.
16:00Yeah, I understand, but they get 12 on both sides of Dolphins.
16:04Oh, oh, oh. 24 on 22. All right. We'll take a break and try to figure that out during the commercial break.

18:10We are back. News and notes. Travion Henderson is out tonight against Seattle.
18:14Ramondre Stevenson or Kyron Williams? Kyron, buzz clubs. Ramondre for me.
18:18I believe I have Kyron two spots higher. Already mentioned all of the safety and secondary concerns for the Seahawks tonight.
18:25George Kittle is likely going to play, but he's going to be, I don't know.
18:29They say they're going to monitor his snaps. No idea what that means.
18:34Let me just say that from my experience, a pregame report about a player being on a snap count, you know, from
18:41any of the major reporters out there is one of the most, one of the least reliable reports.
18:47Yeah. Do you remember his first game back last year?
18:50No. He played 80% of the snaps and was just a blocker.
18:54Kittle? He didn't throw him the ball. Yeah. He probably ran the routes though.
18:59I think he had two targets. Didn't, didn't have a catch.
19:02Just was almost entirely a blocker. What was the game script like?
19:06The Niners have a big lead and he didn't have to run routes.
19:10I don't, I don't think so. I think we were like, what the hell happened here with George Kittle?
19:17But it might've been Mac Jones too. McCorkle. Hmm.
19:20Okay. I still have him top 10. I, if he's playing, I figure the 49ers are gonna have to throw a good amount.
19:27I'd want to lean on him to some degree.
19:30I'm not going to have high expectations, but still up there for me.
19:34Okay. So would any, you know what? We're going to get to that in a minute.
19:40That's like our next topic is, is breaking down that game.
19:43The buck signed Baker Mayfield to a three year, $165 million extension.
19:47Heath, what is the dynasty impact? Um, this gives him a little bit more security.
19:52Probably moves him up a spot or two in the rankings.
19:56I feel bad for everybody that was super excited about a motivated Baker Mayfield because now he got a contract.
20:02So he's obviously not going to be motivated anymore.
20:05Yeah. Uh, Patrick Mahomes is likely to start this week, but Kansas city left tackle Josh Simmons is unlikely to play.
20:12As we mentioned earlier, Aaron Donald is out this week.
20:15Um, it's according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. It sounds like Malik neighbors will play this week.
20:21Uh, if you have a guy Wednesday or Thursday and you're, you know, deciding between Devante Adams, Mike Evans, stripling and Malik neighbors, Jamie, what do you do?
20:30Uh, I would play Adams over neighbors. I think anyway.
20:33Um, who was the other one? The 49ers guys.
20:36Um, Evans would probably, if neighbors does not practice today, then I would play Evans.
20:41If, or tomorrow, I guess today or tomorrow. Um, I would probably wait out to see stripling, wait out neighbors instead of
20:48playing stripling and just probably go to the waiver wire and find somebody if I could.
20:53Okay. I, I just kind of assumed when they cut Darius Slayton that neighbors was going, right?
20:59You would think, right? Uh, Caleb. Oh, I mentioned Chris Bell.
21:03Caleb Douglas listed as starters from Miami, but I guess they have 12 starters and Romo Dunze is day to day.
21:09We definitely have to keep an eye on that one.
21:13All right. Let's take a look at Thursday night football.
21:16Na, na, na, na, na, na, na. Ah, ah.
21:19Did you throw something? I did. What was that?
21:22I'm not at liberty to say. San Francisco's at the Rams.
21:26Here's a stat of the game that will not come to fruition.
21:29Unfortunately, this was from CBS sports research. If all the stars align and Aaron Donald, which he's not playing Nick Bosa, George
21:37Kittle all play, this game would have featured the most combined first team, all pro selections playing in a game since the
21:441999 wild card playoff game between the Cowboys and Vikings.
21:47This would have been that star studded, but unfortunately it's just a little bit less star studded.
21:53Okay. So look, I mean, these are two contenders here, but Heath, how much better do you feel about starting Rams than 49ers?
22:00A lot, a lot, a lot better. I am, uh, I'm actually skeptical that the 49ers defense is going to be as
22:07good as it has in the past. And I think the Rams defense, even without Aaron Donald as the best in the league.
22:15Um, so I, I've got Stafford over Purdy. I'd still have Christian McCaffrey over Kyron.
22:20I would start two Rams wide receivers over any 49ers wide receiver.
22:24And I don't want to start a tight end in this game.
22:28Yeah. Tight end. We'll get into Kittle in a little bit here.
22:32I mean, Adams is a, is a no brainer.
22:35I mean, it seems, it seems like the 49ers secondary, at least according to sharp football and PFF, not very good.
22:42So, you know, let's, you're starting Adams. Let's keep this game simple.
22:46Right. And, and like Kyron, uh, where do you guys have Kyron, Jamie?
22:50Like around 16, 17 in that range. Same. I think he might be 20th, but he's an RB too.
22:56Okay. Basically where he was drafted. We're not going to start.
23:00You wouldn't start Coram over like Jadarian price or anything with no, no.
23:04Okay. I do love the matchup for, for the Rams running backs, but we just don't know.
23:09So I think it's a little nuts to start Coram.
23:13So we know more. Yeah. I mean, let's, so for the 49ers, their secondary might be a concern, but they might be
23:20good up front because well, Nick Bosa being back is going to help, but also that helps their pass rush.
23:27Like Fred Warner played five games or maybe, you know, they have, uh, they have, um, green law back.
23:33Right. So they could be better. Um, they should be better Rams, you know, start your Rams other than just lose the key defensive lineman though.
23:41Who'd they lose? Uh, I forget his name that they put on the new nose tackle.
23:47Yeah. Oh yeah. I didn't see where his meniscus.
23:49That's a bummer. I'm sorry. I didn't see that.
23:52All right. So then let's talk about Alfred Collins.
23:55Sorry. Let's talk about the quarterbacks here. Um, Stafford over Purdy Stafford or Stafford or well, definitely over my homes.
24:02Oh yeah. Let's go. I've got Stafford third. Oh, okay.
24:05Let's just go right to the jugular here. I, I know Bosa's back and that helps the pass rush, but I've got
24:12questions about much of the rest of this 49ers defense.
24:16So how about Purdy then? Where do you have Purdy Dave?
24:19I've got Purdy 13th and that feels low, but there are a lot of quarterbacks that I like this week.
24:26There were a lot of quarterbacks that we drafted.
24:29Um, I'd start golf ahead of him. I think just about everybody else that was ahead of him in ADP other than Stafford.
24:36Cause I think Stafford was behind them. I, they're easy starts to me over Purdy, but I don't, I don't mind Purdy.
24:44Bro, Dave, you have Jackson dart 22nd. Yeah. Whoa.
24:47Yeah. Cause I was going to say that Heath and Jamie would start Jackson dart against the Cowboys over Brock Purdy.
24:53Dave would start, um, maybe some college quarterbacks over Jackson dart this arch Manning baby.
24:58So do you have my homes ahead of Jackson dart?
25:02I think no, no, they're back to back. Yeah.
25:05Okay. Yeah. 22 and 23. Um, Purdy or Kyler Murray.
25:08Kyler. Kyler. Purdy. Dave is the high guy on Purdy at 13.
25:12Heath and Jamie have Purdy 17th. Tyler Shuck over Purdy for Jamie and Heath, not for Dave.
25:17Dave, your quarterback rankings are definitely the outlier this week.
25:21I love it. Yeah. What's it, what's it like Heath?
25:24It's a, it's a, uh, Hey me. Yeah. Uh, all right.
25:27Start McCaffrey, Evans and stripling Heath. What are your thoughts there?
25:31I don't really want. Yeah. I don't really want to start them.
25:35I rank them Evans, Debo, stripling. Um, Evans is a wide, a number of three wide receiver for me, but I, I
25:42would like to have three receivers better than him.
25:45Yeah. It's weird right here when you preview a game and you like, Oh, how did the, how did the Rams do against wide receivers last year?
25:54Well, actually, how did the chiefs do against wide receivers last year?
25:58Because the Rams have both starting cornerbacks from the chiefs.
26:01But those corners are going to have a much more pleasant time playing, um, behind this pass rush.
26:07Yep. Then they did the chiefs last year. So they're going to have to defend for about two and a half seconds.
26:14And they were good last year. They were 10th, but the chiefs were 10th best.
26:19Obviously it's not all about the two cornerbacks, but they were 10th best and they held, uh, some very, very good wide receivers in check.
26:27So I have Evans in a lot of leagues, but definitely trying to get away from them.
26:33Let me give you guys some flex options over Mike Evans.
26:37How about some running backs here? Would you start, um, would you start Marshawn Lloyd?
26:42Oh, I'm so on the fence of this one.
26:45Marshawn Lloyd at Minnesota or Evans. Evans at PPR.
26:47I got to find Lloyd. After the report yesterday, for sure.
26:51I would go Lloyd. I'm looking for Lloyd. Did you see what the office coordinator said, Adam?
26:57No. Oh, uh, expect a committee for the Packers back to the week one.
27:01I have them back to back Evans one spot out of Lloyd.
27:05Yeah. I don't know what that means. Like I saw what they did in the preseason and it sure as hell wasn't
27:12a committee except for Chris Brooks playing on third down.
27:16And these coaches talk about this stuff all the time, but like they're, they're always going to say, yeah, we want to get all our guys involved.
27:25Basically. I'm not always. Well, I mean, I think for the first game against Minnesota for a player that has one career
27:32game on his resume, you're probably not going to see a huge snap share for him.
27:37So, or huge amount of touches for him. So especially if surprisingly enough, they're underdogs.
27:42So if they are chasing points, I think we see a little bit more of Chris Brooks, if not a lot more of Chris Brooks.
27:50So I would just be cautious with Lloyd and I wouldn't panic if he has a bad game.
27:56They also did bring in another running back for a workout yesterday.
28:00So probably not the best sign for Josh Jacobs in terms of what the Packers are thinking and probably not the best
28:07sign for the three guys on the roster. My guess would be is mostly an indication of Caleb Johnson.
28:13So they brought in Phil Maffa just for a workout just to see what they have there.
28:19Another big physical running back. Yeah. Someone said in the chat, probably benching Lloyd week one.
28:24And so am I, but I'm also probably benching Evans week one.
28:28How about Tony Pollard against the Jets or, or Mike Evans?
28:32Pollard. Yeah. I'd be Paul. How many, Dave said Evans, how many Colts wide receivers would you start over Evans?
28:38Just one. Downs. I don't think I have any.
28:41Me neither. Give you a stat. The Ravens gave up the most big pass plays in football last year and the most
28:48pass plays of 20 or more air yards. And that's who the Colts play in week one.
28:54All right. I got a better stat than that.
28:57What, what do you got? And this could maybe help you make the decision on somebody like Downs.
29:03And I would like Downs better if Keenan Allen didn't sign with the Colts.
29:07Obviously Colts took on Jesse mentors chargers defense last year.
29:11They let them up for 38 points. They absolutely dominated the type of defense that Jesse mentor plays.
29:17And so I do think he, he's got personnel this time around that matches up better with the Colts, but I'm, I'm
29:24not sure it's going to be any more successful.
29:27If he sticks with lots of zone coverage, doesn't blitz that much.
29:31Do we know if Matt Buki is going to play for Baltimore?
29:35I guess we'll start to find out that information today, but I don't think so either.
29:40And I think that helps the Colts too. Um, I, I know it sounds like I'm talking myself into Josh Downs over Mike Evans.
29:48I'm not there yet, but I do, I do kind of like Downs to, especially in PPR to get seven targets come through with a solid game.
29:57Okay. And then let's talk about Kittle here. Cause I, I don't know.
30:01I mean, it's week one, no one's on a buy, not that many guys are injured.
30:06So I don't personally as a host feel a ton of, uh, I wouldn't say need.
30:11I don't think it's helpful if I'm like, well, would you start Debo Samuel or this other guy that no one's starting?
30:19Because I'm just guessing, you know what? I'm going to look at Debo Samuel start percentage right now.
30:25And it's probably not worth discussing. It is 10%.
30:27And stripling. Yeah. Stripling. It's like, we kind of want to see it first.
30:32He is at 7% started, but I've been getting some Dijon stripling questions.
30:36So I don't know. Is he, is he in the top 30 for you guys this week?
30:42No, not in top 48. Not 48. All right.
30:45There are people, I think yesterday he was drafted in round six of our draft.
30:50He was. I've been in several drafts where he was drafted in round eight.
30:54So I know there are people like considering starting him in week one.
30:59You also have, you know, as it's evolving clearly, you know, as they're speaking in another continent, um, Mike Evans saying that
31:06his resting or, you know, not practicing was another planned situation or, you know, they're just being cautious with it.
31:12So I, I think when you're drafting stripling or were drafting stripling, you were doing it with a hedge on Evans missing
31:20time or maybe missing time early in the season.
31:23And, you know, some of the bigger leagues I had somebody asked me yesterday, Hey, same, same, same round.
31:29Heath, uh, I'm in a huge, you know, uh, fantasy league is stripling in round six worth.
31:34And I said, listen, if he hits, you're going to hit big, right?
31:39Cause we, we saw what he looks like in the preseason and you're the easiest bet to make on injuries is probably the 49ers.
31:46So if Evans misses any time, if he was out for this week, I think we'd be very excited about stripling, even with a tough matchup.
31:55So just knowing that there's two significant veterans at its same position, three significant veteran pass catchers there.
32:01I just don't think you want to buy into stripling as a starter.
32:05We know receivers usually come off the, or, you know, in drafts came off the board a lot sooner than the running
32:12backs when we get to this range. So I think, you know, stripling probably should have been like around seven pick at the highest, maybe around eight.
32:21So around six is just being aggressive with it.
32:24I would just take a cautious approach and sit him this week.
32:28Okay. Let's not, I'd rather start just, you know, I named your, but I'd rather start the Von Vele than there's not stripling.
32:36I'd rather start at nine Mitchell. Wow. Would you rather start Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell and Dijon stripling?
32:42Oh, I think that might be going too far.
32:45Okay. Okay. So how about Kittle? Kittle's a tough call.
32:48We don't know what the snap share will be.
32:51Last year, he did have a huge game against the Rams.
32:55He scored 23.4 fantasy that fantasy points, but the Rams got really good against tight ends late last year, including Trey McBride twice.
33:02Kyle Pitts was terrible. Colson Loveland had 56 yards on 10 targets.
33:06I don't know if any of that will carry over.
33:09So Kittle is 13th for Jamie, 10th for Dave and 16th for Heath.
33:14So it's an average of 13th. And are there any streamers?
33:17I'm guessing Heath, the answer is going to be yes for you.
33:21Cause you have him 16th. What streamers would you start over George Kittle?
33:26Only one. There's only like, we've got 15 tight ends that have a high enough roster percentage to not call them streamers.
33:33Um, the one is the guy that I talked about that I don't, don't think should be this available, but Dalton Schultz
33:40is on rostered in about half of leagues. And I would start him over Kittle this week in full PPR.
33:46Okay. Jawan Johnson for sure. Yes, but he's not, he's too rostered, right?
33:51He is. Oh, you're talking about none. I gotcha.
33:54But there were people that drafted Kittle in the middle of late rounds and then probably took a second tight end.
34:01And so I think that's the conversation. And I'm looking at Kittle right now in my rankings and I've got him higher than Jawan.
34:08And I don't know if I agree with it.
34:11I think Jawan does make sense as someone that you could start ahead of Kittle this week because of all the uncertainty around him.
34:19But I know what the track record is for tight ends against this Rams defense.
34:24I know the Rams defense improved their cornerbacks. I think that does open the door for whoever is at tight end for
34:31them to put up some solid numbers. And I just, I know what George Kittle is capable of doing.
34:38And if I've got him on my team, I want to use him if he's going to play.
34:44Yeah, if you want to, if you want to start Jawan Johnson, the Lions last year played five games without their two
34:51starting safeties who are on IR right now. And in those five games, they give up 65 or more yards to Kate Otten, Colby Parkinson and Colson Loveland.
35:00And I think those three combined for two touchdowns.
35:03So they did struggle against tight ends without their two starting safeties.
35:07And I think it's reasonable to expect that to happen again.
35:10So Kittle, how about Kittle? How about guys like Dalton Kincaid and Jake Ferguson over against Kittle?
35:16Not this week. The matchups aren't great for either one.
35:19I might try it with Kincaid. That's another tight end that I've got ranked behind Kittle as of right now.
35:26Definitely not Jake Ferguson. I've got it. Kincaid, Kittle, Ferguson, 15, 16, 17.
35:30So flip a coin. Start the Rams DST, sit the 49ers DST.
35:34And that is it for Thursday Night Football. Na, na, na, na, na, na, na.
35:39Ah! Ah! Do people listening sing along with us, you think?
35:43I think they maybe do the nah. We had some start sits in the chat from that game.
35:48Okay. And you know what? I honestly think I skipped Stafford because Dave said he had him third.
35:54But Jamie has him eighth and Heath has him tenth.
35:58So he's definitely a start. But Stafford, yeah. So I'm going to rewind the na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na.
36:05And we're not done yet. Kittle or Likely? That's going to be Likely, right?
36:10I don't know about that. I think Likely might be.
36:13Oh, yeah. Likely. That's what you said. I'm sorry.
36:16Kittle or Kraft? Kraft. Tucker Kraft. Kittle or Andrews?
36:19Andrews. Andrews for me. I'll go Kittle. Give me a flex and half PPR.
36:24Jalen Waddle. Marshawn Lloyd. Mike Evans. Parker Washington. Oh, who is it between Waddle and Washington?
36:29I think it'd be Waddle. But it's close, man.
36:32I love them both. Probably Waddle. Adams or Burden?
36:35Burden one billion percent if Odunzeh is out. And Burden either way if Odunzeh is in.
36:40I got Burden one spot higher. I'll take Adams.
36:43Evans or Godwin? Godwin. See, that's... Godwin. Yeah, I think we're going Godwin there.
36:48Godwin. Chris Godwin. And can we discuss Terrence Ferguson?
36:51Roster. Another good stash candidate. Don't start him this week.
36:54There we go. Okay. And that's it for Thursday Night Football.
36:58No, no, no, no, no. Let's do some buy or sell after this break.
37:02All right. We'll be right back with buy or sell.
37:05A Ramondre Stevenson buy or sell. A Jacoby Lane buy or sell.
37:09Jonah Coleman. Christian McCaffrey. Vicar Ryan. And more. Did you guys watch any of the, what they're calling the second best tennis match of the year?
37:18No, I missed it. Oh my gosh. I mean, I didn't see it, but it ended at 3.33 in the morning in New York.
37:26And it was like, I mean, for any, it was like, it was basically one of the best tennis matches.
37:32I don't know. In US Open. I don't know.
37:35I don't know. But it was incredible. And. Wait, it was in the United States?
37:40It was. Yeah. Started at 11. Played until 3.30.
37:43They started at 11.30 or something like that. And they ended at 3.33 in the morning.
37:48It seems like bad marketing. Yeah, I know. I read a five set thriller between like the best player in the world and an American who beat him.
37:58And really cool stuff. I wish I had even known about it.
38:02I had no idea. Could have learned a few things.
38:05Yeah, I think so. Actually, no. When they're that good, there's really not much you can learn.
38:10Like we can't learn about it. I was talking about me because, you know, commentary wise for tennis.
38:16You think any of them, any, either of the competitors were burping throughout the match?
38:21What's the late, like, let's say you were at, you know, the NBA, the Super Bowl, whatever.
38:27What's the latest you think you would stay there?
38:30Obviously, the Super Bowl could go on and on and on, I guess.
38:34Would you stay there until 3.30? What's the latest you would stay at the Super Bowl?
38:39Would you stay there at 3.30 or would you go home?
38:43Are you really asking that question? You're assuming that like one of the teams we love is playing in the game.
38:50Well, that's the thing about tennis. No, you got to put it in context.
38:54Like this isn't the finals. So it's just, it'd be like a regular season football game.
39:00No, it'd be like a playoff game. Adam, the Hurricanes are in the national championship.
39:05How long are you staying at the stadium? Yeah, forever.
39:08Yeah, exactly. There you go. This would have been like the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.
39:13I mean, you would have stayed, obviously, if it was the Hurricanes SMU and there was a lightning delay, right?
39:20Until it was over? Not until 3.30 in the morning for a regular season game.
39:25So you're at the game. It's a nine o'clock start.
39:28There's a lightning delay that doesn't kick off until 11 o'clock.
39:32And you're staying until kickoff. You wouldn't stay till the end?
39:352.30 in the morning in that case. If I had worked the next day, no.
39:40If I didn't, then yes. The way that that game unfolded, you would have left.
39:45The Florida State game? Yes. You're lying. Whatever you're about to say is a lie if you say you leave.
39:52It depends if I had a show. Yeah, you know, I'd probably, you're right.
39:56I'd probably stay. Of course you'd stay. Acer would have never showed up.
40:01What? With the rain. With the rain. Oh, no.
40:04You've got the wrong guy. I don't mind. I'll brave the elements.
40:07I'll brave. I mean, if I see a spider, I won't brave that.
40:12But the elements, I'll brave. Buy or sell. Ramondre Stevenson will be the Patriots starter.
40:17I'm going to change starter to lead back all year.
40:20Ramondre Stevenson will be the Patriots lead back all year.
40:23Bye. So. Oh. What do you think, Heath? There's lots of things that could happen.
40:28I think it's below 50%. Be a week or two where it's Travion.
40:32From Matt Davis. Buy or sell. Jacoby Lane and Emmitt Johnson will be league winners.
40:37So. For sure sell in the case of Lane.
40:40And the only way Emmitt Johnson is going to be is if Kenneth Walker wins Powerball.
40:45All right, fine. So buy or sell. If Ken Walker buys or wins Powerball, Emmitt Johnson will be a league winner.
40:52Bye. Okay. From Luis. Buy or sell. Chuba Hubbard maintains the lead role over Jonathan Brooks.
40:58Sell. Sell. From Yogi Danza. Buy or sell. Jonah Coleman takes over the Denver backfield by week four.
41:04Sell. So you got to sell it. By week 14.
41:07I could buy that. Maybe, right? Maybe. And another one from Yogi.
41:11Buy or sell. Dan is the type of person who decides they don't want something.
41:16Dan is the type of person who decides they don't want something they already picked.
41:21They just throw it on whatever aisle shelf they're on.
41:24No. No, I sell that. Yeah. For him, I sell that.
41:27Dan's the kind of person who would rant about that kind of person.
41:32Right. Yeah. Steve Davis says, buy or sell. The backup to Christian McCaffrey fantasy managers want is currently not on San Francisco's roster.
41:39Sell. Debo's there. Sell. Buy or sell. The majority of listeners, however slim, will have no idea what I'm referencing when I ask Vic or Ryan.
41:48And that makes me sad. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye.
41:51That's a good way to tell us that you've been listening for a long time.
41:56That was before me. That was before you. Mentioning Adam's wallet is a good way.
42:01Do you remember the person who would always ask us that question?
42:05The Vic or Ryan? Yeah. No. Who? No. Street Canth.
42:08Oh. Good call. I wonder what he's up to.
42:11Good call. Where'd he go? He was like, God, these idiots.
42:14That's probably with a little dabble. Do you? Does he know that story?
42:19Which story? A little dabble. Do you? Do you know that story?
42:23No. Do you know the slogan? A little dabble.
42:25Do you? Yeah. Okay. Go ahead, then. Tell the story.
42:29This is you, Jamie. Oh, so somebody wrote in.
42:32It was a team name. I think it was just an email.
42:36And then they signed it. They like there. Yeah.
42:39So it was A-L-I-L-A-D-A-B-A-D-O-O. Something right? Whatever. Yeah. And you just read it.
42:43What's Aleel Adab-Aduya? No, I thought it was from a guy named Aleel Dabble-Doya.
42:47Like, I'd never heard Aleel Dabble-Doya. It's still funny.
42:50It's been 15 years. I was thinking about the other day.
42:54The worst call that Dave has ever made was Crackland Oat Brand being a good cereal.
42:59Oh, by far. Yeah. It's so bad. I've made some bad calls.
43:03And I think you're right. I do. I've strayed from that take.
43:07Oh, wow. So bad. I had it. I had it some point last year, and it just tasted different to me.
43:14And I threw the box out. Honestly. What did you say?
43:18It looks like kitty litter. I think once you said that, it was over for me.
43:23Like Crackland Oat Brand. So now I don't have a favorite cereal.
43:27I'm a free agent on the cereal market. When you grow up eating all that sugary cereal, and then you come back
43:34to it years later after not having eaten it for a while, it's not as good as it used to be.
43:41Oh, you're crazy. Froot Loves are still the best.
43:44I mean, I guess I really like life cereal still.
43:47But I don't know. It's like it's too sweet now for me.
43:51I had you pegged for Raisin Bran. I did like, oh, believe me.
43:55I like me some Raisin Bran. This one is from Gamer.
43:59Eric! Buy or sell. Jake Ferguson will finish the season ahead of Mark Andrews.
44:04Andrews. So. I'm selling it non-PPR. It's full PPR where I might see a pathway, but it's going to be close.
44:10Jake Ferguson is very rostered. And I just want to give this stat.
44:15I'm not saying it'll play out this way. But he played 13 games with CeeDee Lamb.
44:20And he averaged 8.7 fantasy points per game. He did have six or more targets in seven of those 13 games.
44:27But he just kind of struggled with the targets.
44:30But he's kind of like Kyle Pitts, only worse.
44:33He averaged 18.6 per game without Lamb. And 8.7 per game with Lamb.
44:37So based on last year, Jake Ferguson probably shouldn't be rostered as much.
44:41But, you know, things could play out differently. I also would say if Lamb or Pickens gets injured, Jake Ferguson is basically an amazing handcuff.
44:49Probably, you know. Well, is it him or is it Flannoy?
44:53That's a good question. Flannoy could factor in. But, I mean, like if he were on the waiver wire right now, I probably wouldn't pick him up.
45:02Even though I did in one league where I had an empty roster spot.
45:06But if Lamb or Pickens got hurt, he'd be one of my top priorities.
45:11I guess. I think you're going to see like Ferguson, Brenton Strange.
45:15I'm trying to think of another tight end that's kind of in similar vein.
45:20Like where there's a crowded receiving core or you just know what the pecking order is.
45:25But they'll catch enough touchdowns where they'll sort of flirt with top 12 relevance on a week-to-week basis.
45:31You know, so like Ferguson last year had eight touchdowns and over 100 targets.
45:35And just was such a non-factor, like you said, when everybody was healthy.
45:40Yeah. So it's like you'll never like be thrilled to start that player.
45:44But the week that they score or the weeks that they score, you'll be like, okay, this is why I justify having them on my team.
45:52Okay. A few more buyer sales here from Lloyd Cobbler.
45:56If Dalton Kincaid plays his highest snap percentage of his career this year, he's a top five tight end.
46:02If you had said top 10, I would have bought it.
46:05Yeah. I was going to go top eight. There you go.
46:09Yep. Top eight sounds good to me too. From Phoenician.
46:12Buyer sell Drake London is not a top 12 wide receiver with two at Tunga by Lois starting.
46:18So. So. You know, I've got London, I think like 10th in my rankings and I feel like that's a little too high.
46:26I'm going to buy it. I'm going to buy it.
46:29With Tunga as the quarterback, I'm going to say he's not a top 12 receiver.
46:34But we don't expect that to last too long.
46:37It seems like I want Penix to be the guy.
46:40Yes. Steve says, Buyer sell fantasy players and experts not considering Washington's suspect offensive line nearly enough.
46:46Sorry, that we are not. We are not considering Washington's suspect offensive line nearly enough when it comes to drafting.
46:52Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin, Bill and White. The funny thing is, like, I think that fantasy managers from the experience I've had
47:00in drafts have considered it a lot. In my final FFPC draft, I got Jayden Daniels at the end of round 10.
47:07Whoa. He's been going in round eight or seven in a lot of our drafts.
47:12Bill's not a top 28 running back. Terry McLaurin's fallen outside of the top 24 wide receivers.
47:17I think people have adjusted. Yeah, our ADP, the latest one.
47:21I don't know about drafts last night, but Daniels fell behind Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts.
47:26I just want to remind everyone, two years ago, Larry Meitunsel was on the Texans.
47:31And Jayden Daniels had his great rookie season, and McLaurin had the best season of his career.
47:37I've been pretty scared about it, but I also think the dig signing factors in with the McLaurin drop.
47:43I've been thinking. Yeah, go ahead. No, sorry, go ahead.
47:46I've been more afraid of Ja'Cory Kroski Merritt than Daniels, because Daniels is so athletic, and he'll be able to run away from the pressure.
47:54It's not going to be good for him, but they lost their best lineman, and then they moved the guard out to tackle.
48:02So now they've weakened two positions, and they just may not be as good.
48:06So I feel like the game script won't be as good for Bill.
48:11I'm totally with you on Bill, because he's in that range of running backs, or was being drafted in that range of running backs.
48:19Like with the Steelers guys, you could see there's more upside for them, especially if one guy separates from the other.
48:25Jordan Mason's a very similar profile. Easy to buy into the Vikings offense more so than the Commanders.
48:31You know, Dobbins, if you want to talk about shared backfields, like Broncos offensive lines, clearly better, and Dobbins was better last year.
48:39So you just kind of look at that whole group and whichever running back you like the best.
48:45But I think that was the appropriate range for him.
48:48To me, the easiest thing with Daniels is like the upside is amazing, and the downside is I pivot to Tyler Shuck
48:55or Kyler Murray or somebody that's available, and it's easy to find replacement value there.
49:00Not the same replacement value, but replacement value. So that's just an easy swing-for-the-fence position.
49:05And so like Heath was saying, the more he fell, the better it was, because you're just still stacking other great players
49:12around him, and now you're getting this what could be top-three quarterback.
49:16So it was just easy to still draft him.
49:19The other guys, yes, you could make stronger cases to move away from.
49:24Okay, and a few more here. Buy or sell from Jay.
49:27I should start Ramondre Stevenson over Jamison Williams in PPR.
49:30I went this week, but it's close. I went this week.
49:34And Craig. Buy for Heath, sell for Jamie. What was it for you, Dave?
49:39I'll take Jamo. For Craig, cinnamon raisin toast, ham, tomato, mozzarella, mayo, garlic powder, and oregano melted.
49:44Are you Craig, Adam? Do you have a list?
49:47This sounds really good. I would eat this. I know you would.
49:51I'd buy it. Literally. I would eat it. I wouldn't buy it.
49:55There you go. I'd buy it for you, and then you'd like it, and then you'd start buying it.
50:01Oh, this should be your next. What was the other bet you were trying to make, Heath?
50:07I don't even remember now. Okay, wait. I don't think we've really hammered home.
50:11No, it's 100% set. You agreed to it. We're not going back.
50:15No, no, no. I agree to the terms of the consequences.
50:19I forget. What are we doing if a quarterback gets hurt?
50:23Nothing for quarterback getting hurt. There are two. We're going to try to have a true winner.
50:28Okay. So, they need to be better in both total fantasy points and points per game.
50:33Mm-mm. I think you've got to pick one. If there's a split in those two, then the tiebreaker is fantasy playoffs points.
50:41Because that's what matters. No, no. I don't agree to that at all.
50:45You already did. We're a month into this, and we still don't have it.
50:49Did I really agree to that? Why did I agree to that?
50:53You did. I'll go back and find the tape, because since you never remember the things that you say.
51:00Yeah, it's true. It's true. Why can't you just settle on points per game in PPR?
51:05Can we do only games where they play 50% or more of the snaps?
51:09No. No, come on. This is why, Dave. This is why.
51:13No, that's a completely reasonable request. Because the next thing is, can we do games where, like, if they're offensive coordinators, we have a flu?
51:21So, Adam, if Devontae Smith had four for 60 and a touchdown and 49% of the snaps, so you're not going to count it?
51:29I think you have the option to count it.
51:32There we go. All right. Brian says, buy or sell pizza with pepperoni, sausage, jalapenos, and ricotta.
51:38Buy, buy, buy, buy. You all buy. It's disgusting.
51:41And then I wanted to look at the most added and most viewed players.
51:45I don't really think it makes sense right now.
51:48But there's one other guy. Hey, if you want a starting running back who's 63% rostered, I call him starting because he's
51:55listed as number one on the depth chart. That is Tyler Algier.
51:59Just want to throw that out there. Tyler Algier is 63% rostered right now.
52:04Only nine and a half point underdogs with an implied total of eight.
52:08This week should be a great time for the early downs running back.
52:12Yeah, but still. No, I think he should be rostered.
52:16Yeah. I hate those guys. You know, this was originally, I think I said this about Tevin Coleman when he was splitting with Devontae Freeman.
52:24I can't stand players that are too good to drop but not good enough to start.
52:29They are like the worst thing to have in fantasy and that might be Tyler Algier.
52:34Go back to the guys I just listed before.
52:37Like they're all the same. Which guys? Ja'Cory Krosky, Merritt, J.K.
52:41Dobbins. Like they need touchdowns to be good. Yeah, but they're better.
52:45They're at least. They're better than those guys, but that's the profile.
52:49Yeah, it could be. All right. Thank you guys.
52:52Good luck tonight. Get those lineups set. Those 14 and 28 lineups.
52:56I'll just say. We will talk to you tomorrow with starter sit for the AFC home games on Fantasy Football Today.
