Bo Nix

NegativeValue43:45

Bo Nix is mentioned in the quarterback ADP ordering, positioned between Brock Purdy and Jared Goff in the QB rankings heading into Week 1.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

NegativeValue45:14

Brenton Strange is currently positioned ahead of Dalton Schultz in tight end ADP, but the source prefers Schultz over Strange as a draft target.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection26:40

Purdy is a riser for the source; ranked 14th in February and now 12th, ahead of Patrick Mahomes. The source is bullish on Purdy's upside given the strength of the Lions' offensive weapons and the expectation that the offense will need to throw frequently to win games.

Insight page
PositiveValue43:05

Brock Purdy is currently QB 13 in real-time ADP at 109th overall. The source identifies him as a riser heading into Week 1, with the source noting excitement about his upside based on recent analysis.

Insight page

Chris Brooks

NegativeRole10:00

Source worries Brooks will be limited to passing downs back for Green Bay and would need injuries to change that role. However, Brooks is widely available on waivers and could be a free pickup if he develops into something more. Roster percentage is very low, making him a speculative add.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

PositiveValue43:22

Godwin is a riser and FFT community favorite; going 88th overall as WR35 in real-time ADP. The source was initially skeptical a month ago but camp reports showing he got through training camp healthy have been encouraging; now ahead of ADP and willing to draft him in round seven as a good WR3 that could be a WR2 or better in week one if Mecca Buka is not healthy.

Insight page
PositiveValue53:13

Drafted 61st overall in a 14-team league by source; positioned as a late-round WR1 option with strong value at that draft position in deep formats.

Insight page
PositiveProjection64:04

Chris Godwin has received strong practice reports and is being praised by Baker Mayfield as 'the best version of Chris Godwin since 2024,' a year in which Godwin was 'pretty amazing.' The source notes 'Godwin looked great in the practice' and 'the reports have been good about Godwin,' suggesting he is in excellent form heading into the season.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

PositiveValue18:00

Chris Rodriguez is going significantly behind Bejal Tootin in ADP. Source suggests the gap between them shouldn't be as wide, implying Rodriguez could have more value than his current ADP reflects.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeProjection30:41

Projected to receive approximately 100–120 targets in a Packers passing attack scenario; best-case estimate is 105 targets, though one the source suggests bumping that to 120 if the offense becomes more pass-happy. Target allocation depends on whether the Packers run game remains weak and whether Jordan Love returns to 34 pass attempts per game (2023 level).

Insight page

Colby Parkinson

NegativeRole61:42

Colby Parkinson was the Rams' tight end target last year but is not being discussed this offseason, indicating a shift in the team's tight end usage. The source notes that coaches 'don't do what we want them to do' and may deploy Parkinson, Higby, or Charlie Kohler instead of the preferred targets like Terrence Ferguson.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue45:14

Dalton Schultz is currently tight end 18 in ADP, positioned between Hunter Henry and Brenton Strange, but the source prefers to draft him before all of those players. He had 106 targets last year, the Texans lost more target competition than they gained, and he's the guy CJ Stroud trusts when Nico Collins is not open, with a chance to reach 110+ targets this year. He's available in 49% of leagues and likely to be on the waiver wire, making him a value pick.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup45:55

Dalton Schultz has the worst week one matchup with Buffalo, a team that was terrific at covering tight ends and smothering them with limited short, easy throws. However, Buffalo lost Sean McDermott and is changing their defensive front, which could significantly alter their defensive system and coverage approach.

Insight page
NegativeUsage47:27

Schultz had 10 games with 6+ targets last year and 11+ PPR points in 7 of those games. The source notes that if Schultz gets 6 or more targets, he can be productive, but there's concern about whether the offense's tenor changes with David Montgomery's arrival, potentially reducing targets through increased rushing and opportunities for receivers like Jalen Noel and Kayshaun Booty.

Insight page
NegativeRole47:31

Schultz's target share is the key to his fantasy value; if he can secure six-plus targets per game, the production numbers should follow, though the source notes he is 'kind of boring' and questions whether newly acquired Kayshaun Booty will compete for targets.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeValue18:00

David Montgomery is going way ahead of Woody Marks in ADP, similar to how Saquon goes ahead of other Giants backs. Source suggests this gap shouldn't be as wide as it is, implying Marks could have more value than his ADP suggests.

Insight page
PositiveValue27:20

Montgomery (Gibbs) is one of four top-70 draft picks among Goff's targets, cited as a reason for confidence in Goff's volume and scoring potential.

Insight page
NegativeRole47:27

David Montgomery's arrival with the Texans could change the tenor of the offense, allowing the team to run the ball more effectively and potentially reducing passing opportunities for tight ends like Dalton Schultz.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

NegativeProjection65:53

Derrick Henry is mentioned alongside Jonathan Taylor as a comparable back in terms of rushing yards and carries relative to James Cook's 2024 season. The source uses Henry as a benchmark for evaluating Cook's rushing title, noting that Henry and Taylor had similar production despite not winning the rushing title.

Insight page

Devin Singletary

NegativeRole15:00

Singletary has worked as the Giants' hurry-up offense running back and could be used on third downs in the crowded backfield with Saquon, Najee Harris, and Tyrone Tracy. Greg Roman has used multiple running backs before when he hasn't had a clear lead back.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeRole42:39

Sampson is in the mold of PPR-friendly running backs like Gainwell, Rashad White, and TyJ Spears, positioned at the very end of that group; his flex production potential with the Browns is uncertain given the team's limited offensive success and reliance on Judkins as their best offensive player.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveValue53:44

Drafted in an 18-team league format by source; positioned as a strong value option in deep leagues where he was available at a reasonable draft position.

Insight page

George Holani

PositiveRole11:00

Source suggests Helani could very well take on the Zach Charbonnet role to begin the year and probably wouldn't let it go unless Jadarian Price really takes off in Seattle's backfield. Roster percentage is only 3%, making him a widely available waiver wire target. Jamie notes he could be the goal-line back for the Seahawks.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

NegativeValue45:14

Hunter Henry is currently positioned ahead of Dalton Schultz in tight end ADP, but the source prefers Schultz over Henry as a draft target.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeRole11:00

Price is competing with George Helani in Seattle's backfield. Source notes that unless Price really takes off, Helani is likely to hold the primary role. Price is one of several available running backs to stash on waiver wire.

Insight page

Jalen McMillan

NegativeInjury64:14

Jalen McMillan was out with an injury and is on the same recovery timetable as A'Mariah Brown for the Buccaneers, meaning he will also miss significant camp time. This adds to the crowding of the Tampa Bay receiving corps alongside Godwin, Hurst, and Brown.

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeBust65:53

James Cook led the league in rushing with 385 touches (a career high) and 835 yards with six touchdowns last year, but the source warns of regression risk. The source notes Cook 'barely had more yards in the same amount of carries, basically, as Jonathan Taylor and Derrick Henry' and cautions that 'the year after, there's going to be some regression' for a running back with such high touch volume. The source suggests Cook's rushing title was 'basically just semantics' given the narrow margin over other elite backs.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveValue27:20

Jameson Williams is one of four top-70 draft picks among Goff's targets, cited as a reason for confidence in Goff's volume and scoring potential.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection26:43

Goff is a riser for the source; ranked 15th in February and now 11th, ahead of Patrick Mahomes. The source is bullish despite Goff's weakness when pressured, citing the Lions' strong offensive line (especially interior), the secondary injuries (Terry and Arnold release), and the presence of four top-70 draft picks among his targets (Gibbs, Amon Ross St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Sam Laporta). The source expects Goff to throw a lot and put up good numbers, with potential for a special year like Stafford's, though not expecting a top-five QB finish.

Insight page
PositiveValue43:43

Jared Goff is identified as a riser for the source heading into Week 1. The riser status is attributed to the Lions defense not improving significantly and injuries in the secondary, particularly the Terry and Arnold release, which may create more passing volume opportunities.

Insight page

Jayden Higgins

PositiveInjury46:24

Jaden Higgins was thought to be a potential breakout guy with a big role heading into the season, and Chris Harris listed him as one of his favorite breakouts. However, Higgins is out for the year, eliminating him as a viable fantasy option.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveValue30:30

Listed as a riser; ranked as a number four wide receiver with potential to finish as a number two; going 105th overall (round eight) in real-time ADP, just ahead of Josh Downs. One the source calls him 'one of my favorite players to go after in the middle of late rounds' and has gotten 'more excited about Jaden Reed' after reconsidering his 2023 season.

Insight page
PositiveProjection30:41

Projected to receive approximately 90 targets in a best-case Packers passing attack scenario (Christian Watson 100, Tucker Craft 95, Jayden Reed 90, Matthew Golden 85), contingent on the Packers running game underperforming. This target projection assumes a pass-happy offense similar to 2023 when Jordan Love attempted 34 passes per game, his best fantasy season.

Insight page
NegativeValue50:49

Now going after Quinton Johnston at WR 41; source ranks Johnston ahead of Reed and does not advocate for Reed at his current ADP, implying Reed is overvalued relative to Johnston in the same range.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveRole40:47

Love is a better fit for what the Seahawks offense is asking their running backs to do under Kubiak; he's being moved up in rankings as a potential flex play with lottery-ticket upside if the starter goes down.

Insight page
NegativeValue53:57

Currently going 30th in real-time ADP and 37th in NFC ADP; source would take him around 37th overall (early round four), suggesting he is overvalued at his current ADP and should be waited on.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveValue65:53

Jonathan Taylor is being undervalued relative to James Cook despite similar production metrics. The source states 'I'm not going to lower Jonathan Taylor just because Daniel Jones might get hurt' and notes that Cook 'would have to make up a pretty big gap' in fantasy points per game to justify being drafted ahead of Taylor. The source suggests Taylor's ADP may not reflect his true value compared to Cook's inflated expectations.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeProjection32:00

Banged up in the second half of last season, which affected Packers passing volume and receiver production. In 2023, Love attempted 34 passes per game (his best fantasy season); the last two years he has been under 30 pass attempts per game. Analysts are hoping for a return to the 2023 pass-happy approach to boost receiver upside.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:46

Jordan Love is currently QB 18 at 140th overall ADP in real-time drafts; the source has him ranked higher and would take him ahead of Patrick Mahomes, indicating significant upside relative to his current draft position.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:46

Currently QB 18 at 140th overall ADP; source would take him ahead of Patrick Mahomes and ranks him back-to-back with Kyler Murray, indicating significant upside relative to his draft position.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveRole47:01

Jordan Tyson was expected to be a big piece of the Saints offense, but the source indicates this expectation did not materialize, making him a fallback option rather than a primary target.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue31:28

Compared favorably to Jayden Reed in draft value; one the source prefers Downs over Reed, noting Downs is a round eight guy in full PPR while Reed is more round eight–nine. Both are in the same tier, with Downs going just after Reed in real-time ADP (105th overall).

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveProjection4:00

Court date moved up to September 10th, four days away. The source interprets this as Jacobs and his legal team trying to get resolution so the league can make a decision on suspension length, with a chance he could play this year. Heath moved him up to round 9 in tournament-style drafts due to playoff upside if available; Dave keeps him in round 10 due to uncertainty he may not play this year. Real-time ADP has Jacobs at RB31, 88th overall.

Insight page
NegativeProjection32:00

Packers running back whose performance in the second half of last season was poor and injury-plagued, raising concerns about the Packers' run game efficiency. His weak second-half production (even the first half was only 'pretty good') supports the case for a more pass-happy Packers offense in 2024, which would benefit pass catchers like Jayden Reed.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveValue47:11

Juwan Johnson was awesome at the end of last season for fantasy managers given his cost, making him and Jordan Tyson easy fallback options at tight end when other targets are unavailable.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeInjury44:55

Luther Burden missed a month during the offseason, which reduced his status as a potential offseason darling compared to Parker Washington. The source notes that if Burden had not gotten hurt, there might have been a close battle between him and Washington for the most positive offseason vibes.

Insight page
PositiveValue65:05

Given A'Mariah Brown's toe injury and missed camp time, the source now prefers Luther Burden over Brown in draft decisions, stating 'Luther Burden or Emeka Buka? I think you got to go Burden now.' This represents a shift in relative value between the two receivers.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeValue5:00

NFC average draft position over last two days has Lloyd at RB29, 80th overall, between Jalen Warren and Jonathan Brooks. Fantasy Pro's real-time ADP shows Lloyd at 91st, 34th overall. FFPC real drafts from last two days (22 drafts) show Lloyd at 76th. Source notes casual players may not know about Lloyd, explaining some ADP variance. Jamie suggests drafting him after round six. Lloyd is the Packers' starting RB but has only played one game, creating uncertainty about durability and role.

Insight page
PositiveProjection32:00

Packers running back whose potential success could limit upside for pass catchers; if Lloyd emerges as a strong runner, it would reduce the likelihood of a pass-happy offense and lower target projections for Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, and other receivers.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeProjection30:41

Projected to receive approximately 85 targets in a best-case Packers passing attack scenario, contingent on the running game underperforming and the offense maintaining a pass-happy approach similar to 2023.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveProjection28:00

Stafford had a special year recently that resulted in a top-one fantasy quarterback finish; the source uses this as a comparable outcome for Goff if he has a similar special year.

Insight page

Najee Harris

PositiveRole15:00

Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports Najee Harris could be anywhere from RB2 to inactive if the Giants don't deem him fully ready to contribute at the opener, but if not ready by week one, Duggan's sense is it won't be long until Harris becomes RB2. From there, workload distribution will depend on performances of Harris and Saquon. Duggan notes it wouldn't surprise him if Harris becomes a lead back at some point this season. Jamie notes Harris could be a waiver wire pickup with value if Saquon doesn't produce early.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeRole45:45

Nico Collins is referenced as a primary receiving target for CJ Stroud, with Dalton Schultz serving as the safety valve when Collins is not open.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeValue44:02

Washington is a riser going 66th overall as WR29 in round six; the source is now ahead of his ADP but has only drafted him twice in 20 drafts, suggesting reluctance and uncertainty about how much to react to his rise.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout44:27

The source describes Parker Washington as either 'the most obvious breakout ever' or 'one of the most hilarious rounds of coach speak,' with every reporter providing positive vibes about him throughout the offseason. He was 'easily the darling of the offseason,' particularly after Luther Burden's injury reduced competition for receiving opportunities.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveValue50:49

Now WR 41, going just ahead of Jaden Reed; source prefers Johnston over Reed and targets him in round six. Johnston scored 8 TDs over last two seasons; in 2024's first four games averaged 19.9 PPR points per game with healthy Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater back; full-season 2024 average was 11.7 PPR points per game. Source sees path to 1,000+ yards and 10+ TDs with healthy offensive line and Mike McDaniel's system.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:49

Quinton Johnston has risen in ADP and is now wide receiver 41, going just ahead of Jayden Reed, indicating a significant market shift in his favor relative to other receivers in that tier.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveProjection28:25

Stevenson is a riser for the source; ranked 28th in February and now a top-24 running back. The source cites improving game reports out of New England and Travion Henderson's lack of improvement as reasons for the rise. Current ADP is RB25 in recent 61 NFC drafts, with Henderson at RB26. The source prefers drafting Stevenson in round six, noting he could handle every touch in week one and remain the 1A back thereafter.

Insight page
PositiveValue29:58

Identified as a riser before Week 1; ranked ahead of Jaylen Warren in at least one the source's rankings. Despite limited Super Bowl usage (seven carries for 23 yards), he scored 18.5 PPR points on a late touchdown, demonstrating touchdown upside even in low-volume games.

Insight page
NegativeRole50:50

Mentioned as a riser on the list but not discussed in detail in this segment; source notes he was already covered earlier in the podcast.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveValue27:20

Sam Laporta is one of four top-70 draft picks among Goff's targets, cited as a reason for confidence in Goff's volume and scoring potential.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue20:30

The source advises against taking Saquon Barkley in the third round and probably not in the fourth round either, suggesting his ADP is too high relative to his expected fantasy value.

Insight page

Tank Dell

NegativeInjury46:46

Tank Dell was expected to be healthy and contribute to the Texans offense alongside Jaden Higgins, but both players are starting the season injured, limiting Dell's availability and role.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

PositiveRole64:11

Ted Hurst 'has been making inroads on getting playing time' with the Buccaneers, and Baker Mayfield 'loves Ted Hurst,' indicating increased offensive involvement. This growing role in a crowded receiving corps is relevant context for the Buccaneers' target distribution.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveValue62:05

Terrence Ferguson is being drafted as an eighth-round pick in FFPC drafts, which the source considers undervalued given his upside as a tight end in the Rams offense. The source expresses strong conviction: 'If he hits, he's going to be crazy' and states 'I would definitely take a flyer on Terrence Ferguson of all the tight ends in Los Angeles.' One the source took him 151st overall (round 13) in an elimination league, suggesting he's available much later than his ceiling warrants.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeProjection30:41

Projected to receive approximately 95 targets in a best-case Packers passing attack scenario, contingent on the running game underperforming and the offense maintaining a pass-happy approach similar to 2023.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

PositiveRole15:00

Tyrone Tracy still has talent that the Giants can use and could spell Saquon. Dan Schneiers posted that Tracy is the Giants' most explosive running back and the team would be stupid not to use him in some capacity. Tracy is not being drafted in many leagues and could be a waiver wire value pickup. Source notes Tracy could be used on third downs or as a spell back.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveValue18:00

Woody Marks is going significantly behind David Montgomery in ADP. Source suggests the gap between them shouldn't be as wide, implying Marks could have more value than his current ADP reflects.

2:15Yeah, baby! FFT after dark. Sunday night, September 6th.
2:18Getting you ready for your Labor Day. Happy Labor Day, guys.
2:21Happy Labor Day to you, Adam. It's pretty much, uh, this is, this is the thing for the next four months, right?
2:28Sunday nights. Sunday nights. Sunday nights. Yeah, about an hour earlier than this.
2:32We'll go on the air around 8 o'clock, you know, 7.50, 8 o'clock p.m.
2:37Eastern on Sunday nights to recap the action. What is Sunday night football week one?
2:41Are we looking forward to that game? I think you are.
2:45I sure am. Giants-Cowboys. Oh man, we get to watch it all together?
2:49The whole season's gonna be on the line right away in week one.
2:5334-10. You think the Giants are gonna win by 24, Heath?
2:56Come on, man. I do not. I do not.
2:59You know, uh, in being in a guillotine league with Dave where he has two Cowboys with his first two picks, I'm, Giants, shut him out.
3:07Oh, he is, oh, okay, okay. Yeah, I took CD and Gervonta with my first two picks.
3:12Ooh, yeah, that's not bad. All right, anyway, welcome to the show.
3:16Today, we're gonna talk about... Yeah, and let me mention, it's an 18-team league, so less people think that I, you know, whiffed in round two.
3:24I think everybody knows how many teams in a guillotine league.
3:28I don't know, not everybody does. Yeah, it's not always...
3:31People who have done it, the others, not necessarily.
3:34I know someone who's in a 15-team guillotine league because they just couldn't find enough people, so they're just gonna end it early.
3:41Not everybody's a winner like you and me, Jamie.
3:44Is that you? No. Because you didn't have that many friends?
3:47Did Dan do the draft? Tomorrow night. Or Monday night.
3:50Live? Is it coming? Monday night, no, no. Anyway, today we're gonna talk about the players who have risen or fallen the most throughout the draft process.
3:59Okay, basically the last month. Who are the biggest risers and followers, and what are we expecting?
4:04These are buzz-worthy players that need to be talked about, even if it's just one last time before we really turn our attention to week one.
4:12But let's start with the Josh Jacobs news here.
4:15His court date was moved up to September 10th.
4:18Heath, did you adjust anything based on this? I didn't really know exactly what to make of it here, but much earlier,
4:24four days from now is his court date. So did you adjust anything?
4:28Yes. I had Josh Jacobs at the end of round 10 and didn't really want to take him until round 11.
4:35I moved him up to the end of round 9, and then I was in an FFPC draft and took him early
4:42in round 9 because of the structure of my team.
4:45So I think he's up a round or two, and I don't think anybody actually knows for sure what this means.
4:51But the way that I'm taking it is that Josh Jacobs would like to get this all done with and hopefully be playing week 7.
4:59Dave, your take on Josh Jacobs moving up his court date?
5:03I think Heath's take is reasonable. There's a chance that it could be longer than week 7 before we see him.
5:09There's always things that can happen and videos that could be released that could alter said timeline.
5:15But yeah, I'm interpreting this as Jacobs and his legal team trying to get resolution over and done with so that the
5:21league can make a decision on how long he's going to be suspended for.
5:26And now he's got a chance to play this year.
5:29So when would you take him and when would you take Lloyd, Dave?
5:33I have Jacobs still in round 10 because there's still the uncertainty and the chance that he does not play this year.
5:40So I don't want to spend... Yeah, Heath, you were taking him in early round 9?
5:45Yeah, I took him... Like it was 9-0-4. And it was a tournament type to where like the upside of if Jacobs
5:52is there in the playoffs is worth a little bit more.
5:55I'm not going to nitpick that. I spent 2% of my budget in an auction draft on Jacobs.
6:01The news broke that the court day got moved up while we were doing our auction draft.
6:06So I dabbled, but I'm not going to overspend.
6:09And Lloyd went down a little bit, but he's still running back that you know you're going to have for the beginning of the season.
6:16So happy to still take him in that round 6-7 range.
6:20I'll give you a couple of different ADPs and then, Jamie, you can hop in here.
6:25The NFC average draft position just from the last two days has Marshawn Lloyd at RB29.
6:30So it's Jalen Warren, Jonathan Brooks, Marshawn Lloyd. RB29, 80th overall.
6:33And then Tony Pollard, Blake Corum. Josh Jacobs, RB39, 113th overall.
6:37The Fantasy Pro's real-time ADP, which doesn't exactly give you a date range.
6:41It just says, instead of showing you where players were drafted yesterday, real-time ADP shows you where they're being drafted now.
6:47And it puts now in italics. So that's interesting.
6:50Has Josh Jacobs actually going ahead of Marshawn Lloyd?
6:53Jacobs is RB31, 88th overall. And Marshawn Lloyd, 91st, 34th overall.
6:56Okay, that's not real. Not to crowd Jamie out, but FFPC, so real drafts from the last...
7:02Last two days, 22 drafts. Jacobs at 76. Or I'm sorry, Lloyd at 76.
7:06Jacobs at 88. Okay. I think a lot of people that are just drafting now, casual people, maybe don't even really know about Marshawn Lloyd.
7:14Kind of basing that based on the draft I just did.
7:17There's not a lot of casual people in the FFPC drafts.
7:21Exactly. So the real-time Fantasy Pro's thing, I think, maybe explains Jacobs going ahead of Lloyd.
7:26Jamie, when would you take the two of them?
7:28I think the ranges have been accurate. Somewhere after round nine, and I think Lloyd somewhere after round six.
7:34I think that's fair. You've got to be a little bit cautious now with Lloyd, just with the potential of, I think
7:41Dave hit it on the head, that the legal team for Jacobs, this is his only chance to play this season, is to get his name cleared.
7:50So if this was going to wait until November, I would be very surprised.
7:54I would have been very surprised if the NFL was going to change its mind on allowing him to play beyond maybe sitting out of six-game suspension.
8:02But this wasn't the suspension. It was the exemplus.
8:05So we still don't know. There's still an uncertainty about this.
8:09The court case may be worse for Jacobs. He may end up, as Dave alluded to with the video, we may find
8:15out that it's worse than what the charges were.
8:18Remember, I think it's a little bit confusing to some people.
8:22It's not a felony charge because he's not married.
8:24Oh, is that right? And because he didn't create great harm.
8:28They don't have the proof of it. I'm sorry.
8:31I probably butchered. I was trying to think what Drew Davenport said, that it was not… I think it was not a
8:38domestic violence case because they're not married. Yes. Okay.
8:40I think the felony was regarding the severity. Domestic violence was regarding the marriage.
8:45Right. Excuse me. Sorry, I apologize. In any event, I think we could find out that he's still out for the rest of the season.
8:53So just don't get too excited. The way I have been approaching it, still have two more drafts to go.
8:59The way I have been approaching it is I'm not reaching for Marshawn Lloyd and I'm not reaching for Josh Jacobs.
9:05If they are in the appropriate spots where I feel like it's comfortable to draft either one, I will do it.
9:12All right. So would you take Tony Pollard or Marshawn Lloyd?
9:15Go ahead. It depends on the build of my roster.
9:18If I'm looking for the most upside, I would take Lloyd.
9:22Agreed. Heath? I think it depends on the league too.
9:25All right. You know what? Honestly, your silence, your pause kind of says exactly how you feel about them.
9:31Right. Okay. I understand. You don't want to be in a situation where you drafted Marshawn Lloyd and come week three, you know, he's a backup.
9:39Yeah. And you spend a sixth round pick on him.
9:42You don't want to draft. You don't want to let him go to somebody else.
9:47And it's, he's the starting running back for the Packers for the entire season.
9:51He's played one game. Like, you know, we, I think we tried to be as realistic about the situation as possible.
9:58Like this is a great situation. It's unbelievable if he's the starting running back for the Packers for the entirety of the
10:04year, but he may not be there. We're starting running back for the entirety of the area.
10:10It's worth still taking flyers. I've done it in almost every draft or free agent runs that have happened to pick up
10:17Christopher Brooks to see what happens just in case there's, he's the guy you want to take a flyer on Caleb Johnson, take a flyer on Caleb Johnson.
10:25You know, he may end up at some point being extremely relevant for the Packers.
10:30It's very wide open. Yeah. A lot of people, by the way, are picking up Chris Brooks in my leagues.
10:36And every time I see it, I go, Oh, why didn't I pick up Chris Brooks?
10:41So if he's a free agent, go ahead and take a look at Chris Brooks.
10:46He at least is going to catch some passes for the Packers.
10:50There's two that are very easy and it's Chris Brooks and George Helani, because we just don't know what roles they're going to have.
10:57And throw them away after a week. You know what I mean?
11:01If, if, if they, if they stink, it's just easy selections.
11:04If you drafted, you did a great job, you know, this Adam of Jordan Tyson and Zach Charbonnet of you get a
11:11free pickup because you can stash them on IR and you still have those players.
11:16And I will say this, if you want to start looking ahead, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers DST is widely available and they get the Browns in week two.
11:24So if you want to get that next DST, do that as well.
11:29You can do that before Saturday. I do worry that Chris Brooks is just going to be no better than a passing downs back for Green Bay.
11:37It's going to take injuries for that to change, but Helani.
11:40And I think you've been ahead on this one, Jamie, like could very well be taking on the Zach Charbonnet role to
11:47begin the year and probably wouldn't let it go.
11:50Unless Jadarian Price really takes off in Seattle's backfield.
11:53And it's not just those two guys. I know we'll probably get into this during the week, but like Malik Davis, Ray Davis, Samaj AP Ryan.
12:01Like there's so many of these Seth McGowan. Like there's so many guys that are just available.
12:06Jacob Saylor's like there's, you could just stash these guys.
12:09God forbid an injury happens in week one. You've beaten the waiver wire.
12:13Congratulations. Do you know you have that next lottery ticket?
12:16You know, you want to guess Helani's roster percentage?
12:193%. 10%. 13. 7%. George Helani. Okay. Could be the goal linebacker for the Seahawks.
12:24I do have, by the way, the last ADP review.
12:27There's four different articles. There's waiver wire information in all four of those articles.
12:31They're all on CBSSports.com. It's here are the guys.
12:34If you've already done your draft, go pick up these players now.
12:38What's waiver sure? Are we expecting Kyle Manongai to play week one at Carolina?
12:42No. Okay. He was running last week in practice.
12:45DeAndre Swift said he looked good. So hopefully that means it'll be sooner rather than later from Manongai.
12:51Travion Henderson, would you agree it seems unlikely Henderson's going to play week one?
12:55Correct. We agree. Yeah, that would be Wednesday at Seattle.
12:58We also might not get Seattle safety Nicky Manwari in week one.
13:02He's a little beat up. And that means three, if he's out, three pieces of their second.
13:07Because they already, they don't have Kobe Bryant starting safeties now on the Bears injured.
13:12They don't have Rick Woolen, who's now on the Eagles.
13:15But this would be a third guy if Manwari doesn't play.
13:18Heath, what were you going to say? Nothing. Okay.
13:21So, yeah, that would be a big loss. Cam Scadaboo said that John Harbaugh asked him if he's ready for 20 carries a game.
13:29I said we're going to talk about risers and followers.
13:32This has been a faller. Dave put him in his followers list, you know, just over the last month or so.
13:38And then there was also, I don't know, beat writer speculation that Najee Harris could eventually.
13:43Let me see. Actually, I can read it for you.
13:46Oh, thank you. From The Athletic. It'll be fascinating to see how this running back room shakes out.
13:52I'm confident Cam Scadaboo will open the season as the number one back.
13:56Najee Harris could be anywhere from the number two to inactive if the Giants don't deem him fully ready to contribute.
14:03If it's not by the opener, my sense is it won't be long until Najee is RB2.
14:08From there, workload distribution will depend on the performances of Najee Harris and Cam Scadaboo.
14:13It wouldn't surprise me if Harris becomes a lead back at some point this season.
14:17That's from Dan Duggan of The Athletic, Dave. Is that kind of what you're thinking?
14:22Yeah. And it's not just those two guys, but Tyrone Tracy still has talent that the Giants can use.
14:28And Devin Singletary has worked as their hurry-up offense running back.
14:31And they're going to mix and match these guys.
14:34There could be a world where Scadaboo starts games and could be in line for some short yardage goal line work.
14:41But Najee spells him a bunch. And that Singletary plays on third downs.
14:45And that Tyrone Tracy spells him sometimes. We've seen Greg Roman use multiple running backs before when he hasn't had a guy.
14:52I don't know if they feel like they have a guy right now.
14:56And so when training camp started, Scadaboo was somebody that I was targeting in round three.
15:01Remember, I used to come on the show and say, the easiest thing in the world to do is draft Scadaboo and draft Tyrone Tracy.
15:08Well, now there's two other guys in this backfield that might end up mattering.
15:13And I've just basically abandoned that plan. And now I'm not even that excited to draft Scadaboo unless I'm really in need of a low-end RB2.
15:21Well, now he's going at the 4-5 turn, Cam Scadaboo.
15:24That's better. It's crazy, right? He's been one of the biggest followers we've seen.
15:28Do you consider him a big follower, Jamie? I'm just going by his ADP.
15:33But in your rankings? My rankings, he's fallen, yeah.
15:35He was probably at the start of camp somewhere around RB15, and now he's 24.
15:40Oh, wow. He's still RB19 over the last two days in NFC, which is 61 drafts.
15:45But the funny thing is, and most of our drafts have happened the last eight days in terms of how many drafts have happened on CBS.
15:53And Cam Scadaboo still has the 36th highest ADP at 38th overall.
15:57Ahead of T. Higgins, Brees Hall, Ladd McConkie, Colston Loveland, Lamar Jackson, Ted O'McMillan.
16:01Yeah, well... Yeah, that's a little too high. I've been drafting with Giants fans, so I saw him go 10th in a draft.
16:08In a draft? I hope the people that took him early get rewarded.
16:13I mean, there's still a lot of talent and a lot of opportunity.
16:17For sure. You know, I think as the guys have said, it's going to be crowded.
16:22But, you know, you said this many a time, Adam, throughout the Najee Harris signing and Tyrone Tracy and whatever's going on with him, etc.
16:29Like, the Giants would be stupid not to give Scadaboo the majority of touches.
16:34We'll see if that plays out in all the important touches for us.
16:38You know, I know, obviously, Dan, our colleague Dan Schneiers, is tied into the Giants from a, you know, podcast perspective that he does on his own.
16:46And, you know, he pays attention to that team as much as anybody.
16:50He was just... I saw him post something, you know, about they'd be stupid not to use Tracy in some capacity because
16:57he thinks he's their most explosive running back. You know, so it's really one of these, you know, maybe the most ambiguous
17:04backfield in terms of how we can, you know, see it comparatively to having a guy that we are still seeing get drafted at such a high level.
17:13And what I mean by that is, you know, you can say the Steelers, this, that, they're getting drafted close together.
17:19The Commanders guys, there's, you know, there's questions, but they don't go that far apart.
17:24You know, the Carolina guys may end up getting closer to each other or have been closer to each other the last
17:31couple of days because of Chuba getting healthy, you know, on and on.
17:35This is one where Scadaboo goes so significantly ahead of everybody else in that backfield.
17:39And you may just win by taking a waiver wire move on Najee Harris or still because we've seen Tyrone Tracy not
17:46get drafted in a lot of leagues now. Like, those would be the two I think you just kind of, if you
17:53want to take a dart throw on who could still have value, those would be the ones that I would take shots on.
18:00Yeah, two things. Well, I was just going to say, Dave, you can tie this in.
18:05That's kind of what's going on with everyone in round five, right?
18:09Like, David Montgomery is going way ahead of Woody Marks.
18:12Jadarian Price is going way ahead of George Helani, who's not even rostered in most leagues.
18:17Bejal Tootin is going way ahead of Chris Rodriguez.
18:20I do think you could argue that in all of those instances, it shouldn't be that way.
18:25But Scadaboo is not really in round five. Four or five turn.
18:29Right. He's even ahead of them. On some sides and not on ours.
18:33Yeah, yeah. I don't know what to make of that.
18:36But let me, Dave, you can talk. Real-time ADP for Scadaboo is 42nd.
18:40So, yeah, probably. He's probably around four. Okay, so that's getting closer.
18:44Mid-round four, yeah. Right, right, right. It's getting closer to the four or five turn.
18:49Two things. Number one, we can't sit here and say, oh, you've got to worry about Najee Harris and Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary.
18:56I mean, it's Najee Harris, Tyrone Tracy, and Devin Singletary.
18:59There is a pathway where Scadaboo can blow those three guys out of the water and just work as an alpha running back.
19:06So, I'm wrong for saying what I said earlier.
19:09There's certainly a pathway for Scadaboo to be awesome.
19:12Number two, if we're going to talk about things that Scadaboo said, yes, he told somebody, I don't remember who, about the 20-plus touch comment from John Harbaugh.
19:21He also told Kay Adams that he was considering retirement this offseason after his injury last year.
19:26And he said that he came into the NFL thinking he would quit if he had one big injury.
19:32And he had one big injury, and obviously he decided not to quit.
19:36But that was an interesting comment. Yeah, I considered retirement this offseason too, Dave.
19:40And then I was like, you know what? I can't retire.
19:44And you didn't do it? Damn it. That's what Cam Scadaboo was like.
19:48You know what? That'd be pretty stupid if I retired, I think.
19:51No, I know a different scenario. But that doesn't matter.
19:55What round was he drafted again? Fourth round, I believe.
19:58Fourth round. He's one of the earliest. Keith, does this go to your theory of day three, day two running backs that get new coaches, coordinators?
20:06That has been the working theory for the last few years, is that if you're a day three running back and the
20:13coaching staff likes you and then the coaching staff stays, you're probably safe.
20:17And the coaching staff changes, and you're maybe not.
20:19Yeah, but the coaching staff didn't draft a running back.
20:23I know they signed Najee, but... They sure tried.
20:25They tried just about everything they could to get a running back this offseason.
20:30And they didn't walk them. Yeah. They wanted to train them.
20:33They wanted to draft one. I think what Dan Duggan wrote is true.
20:37He's going to get the opportunity, and it's up to Skadaboo to be good in the first couple of games.
20:43It's really important. For a lot of these guys, it's important to get out there and get off to a fast start.
20:50All right. Anyway, you shouldn't take him in the third round and probably shouldn't be taking him in the fourth round, I guess.
20:57Let's see if we can get closer to that four or five turner into round five for Skadaboo.
21:03And we still don't know about Malik Neighbors. Let me tell you for week one against Dallas on Sunday night, not Monday night.
21:10Podcast programming. Tuesday, I think we're going to do some bold predictions.
21:14We have CBS Sports Network at noon Eastern. Maybe Wednesday's bold predictions.
21:18I don't remember. But Tuesday, we're going to give you a preview for Wednesday night football.
21:23Wednesday, we'll give you a preview, start or sit for Thursday night football.
21:27And then for the rest of the year, Thursday and Friday are going to be our start or sit episodes.
21:33Tuesday is going to be waiver wire. Wednesday is going to be kind of like trades, buy low, sell high and things like that.
21:40Monday is going to be a Beyond the Box score special with me, Dan and Jacob.
21:45And Sunday night, we're going to recap the action.
21:48Also, we'll have a Friday mailbag that we'll publish on Saturday.
21:52So I think most of you know it, but if you don't, we...

22:1012 to 1? Okay. We're also going to have a weekly Wednesday YouTube only show with Scott Turner.
22:16That'll be me and Scott. Scott's going to answer all the questions that we have from Sunday night through Tuesday about the upcoming week's games.
22:24Okay. All right. So we have a ton of content for you.
22:27We're just getting started. Draft season's almost over, but we have a lot, a long way to go and a lot of fun to have.
22:35We're going to be right back after this break on fantasy football today, and then we'll tell you our risers and fallers.

25:31All right, let's get to our risers and fallers here and that is brought to you by Whoop, the wearable device that
25:38gives you personalized insights into your sleep recovery, your strain, and how daily choices may be influencing your overall well-being.
25:44Heath and Jamie, they have their Whoop on right now and always basically and if you want to learn more, head to join.whoop.com slash FFT today.
25:52Join.whoop.com slash FFT today. Heath, we were just talking about your Whoop before the show.
25:57Literally always. I went in the ocean for an extended period of time yesterday.
26:01Kept my Whoop on. Love it. Perfectly fine. No problem.
26:05All right, risers and fallers. We'll tell you some of the guys who have, I guess, really jumped or fallen over the last month or so.
26:13It basically, a little bit of a summary of the big storylines of draft season.
26:17Dave, Jared Goff and Brock Purdy were risers for you and they're both going, you know, similarly.
26:23It goes Brock Purdy right now is QB 13.
26:25Come on, Dave. Brock Purdy is QB 13 in the real-time ADP, 109th overall, then Bo Nix, then Jared Goff.
26:32Too low. I think it actually goes Purdy, it goes Bo Nix, Brock Purdy, Jackson Dart, Jared Goff, Patrick Mahomes, 12 through 16 or something like that.
26:40But Dave, Purdy and Goff are the risers for you.
26:43I'm definitely leaving Brock for Heath because I know that he's excited to talk about him and he's gotten me excited about
26:50Brock Purdy with all the analysis that he's done.
26:53With Goff, it's about the Lions defense not really improving the injuries in the secondary.
26:57The Terry and Arnold release, that stuff makes me nervous about their defense being particularly good.
27:02It means their offense is going to have to throw a lot, put up a lot of points to win games.
27:09I'm much more confident in the offensive line than I was a month ago.
27:13It sounds like right tackle, their rookie right tackle is going to end up being a good player.
27:19I'm still fairly bullish on the interior offensive line.
27:22I know that's a problem for Goff when he's pressured.
27:25He's not very good, but I think they'll work around it until they get their center back.
27:30How do you get frustrated or nervous about a quarterback when four of his top targets are being taken with top 70
27:37picks in fantasy drafts, including two in the first round?
27:40It's Gibbs. It's Amon Ross St. Brown. You know the names.
27:44Jameson Williams, Sam Laporta. Heath, I think you've heard of Sam Laporta.
27:47Goff is going to have a bunch of opportunities to throw a ton.
27:51That's usually going to lead to good numbers. He does have some games in his past where he's thrown a lot and not put up huge numbers.
28:00I know he doesn't run. I'm not drafting him to be a top five fantasy quarterback, but if he has a special
28:07year like Stafford just had, he will finish his one.
28:10I actually happen to have where I had these guys ranked in February.
28:14Okay. And I can tell you where I have them right now.
28:18I had Purdy 14th and Goff 15th. And now I believe I have Goff 11th and Purdy 12th, both of them ahead of my homes.
28:25Ramondre Stevenson is a riser for Dave, and I assume he's a riser for everyone.
28:30Kind of obvious reasons why. And honestly, he was a riser even before Travion Henderson missed a bunch of practice time.
28:37We've said this so many times. The reports out of New England were that Ramondre was improving his game and that Travion had not improved his game.
28:45Ramondre was 28th for me at one point in February, and now I believe he's a top 24 running back.
28:51And if you look at recent ADP, Ramondre's RB 25, in those 61 NFC drafts over the last two days, guess who's RB 26?
28:59Travion Henderson. Still super close. The real-time ADP is, I think Henderson, I think they're also back-to-back, but yeah, but Henderson's still ahead of Ramondre.
29:06So round five for Ramondre? Yeah. Six. I prefer six, but if running backs are flying off the board and you want
29:13somebody who looks like could handle every single touch in week one and then still be the 1A after that, Ramondre's the guy to look at.
29:21Let's do another bit, Adam. Oh, good, because the first one worked out so well.
29:26The first one's locked in. We got all the terms agreed to.
29:30We've got enough time. Two and a half days we can agree to terms.
29:34Ramondre outscores Cam Scadaboo in week one and full season.
29:37I'm going to take Scadaboo in week one. I don't know about full season.
29:42I would obviously draft. I mean, yeah, I guess I have to.
29:45I'm drafting Scadaboo over Ramondre. But week one in Seattle is brutal.
29:49It's not. Remember, they give up the pass catching.
29:52They do. He had seven carries for 23 yards in the Super Bowl and still scored 18 and a half PPR.
29:58Yeah, that touchdown. He scored a late touchdown with about two minutes and 15 seconds left.
30:03The ball almost hit the ground. But Travion Henderson played in that game, actually.
30:08Yep. I think Travion Henderson ran one route on third down or something.
30:12So Ramondre, you know, I don't know. There's nothing else I can grow.
30:16I can think of something. Oh, man. I don't know if I like this conversation.
30:21Yeah, me either. So Ramondre is a riser. Would you rather have Ramondre Stevenson or Jadari in price?
30:26Ramondre. Ramondre. I think I have price a little higher.
30:29Let me double check that. I might not. Let's see if Dave has probably know these things.
30:35Let's see if Dave has Jaden Reed higher than Jamie has Jaden Reed.
30:39Dave has Jaden. I don't know. I've got Ramondre a spot ahead of price.
30:43Dave has Jaden Reed. No, I'm deferring to Jamie on this one, too.
30:47All right. Well, how high do you have him?
30:50Because you put him as a riser. He's he's a number four wide receiver for me, but he could certainly finish the
30:57year as a number two and is one of my favorite players to go after in the middle of late rounds.
31:03Jamie, Jaden Reed. Round eight. Round eight. OK, he's going one hundred and fifth overall.
31:08That's the nine ten turn in the real time ADP just ahead of Josh Downs.
31:13And that is someone that we we liked a lot.
31:16Haven't really talked about him a ton lately, but we talked about him a lot a month ago.
31:21Jaden Reed or Josh Downs? Downs for me, but it's close and they're both in that.
31:26Downs to me is that round eight guy in full PPR and Reed is more round eight, nine.
31:32So they're close. Jamie, Heath. Reed. Yeah, I've got downs.
31:35I'm like the excited. I've kind of gotten more excited about Jaden Reed and remembered how awesome he was.
31:41And it's just made me think more that we're getting one hundred and five Christian Watson targets, ninety five Tucker craft targets,
31:48ninety Jaden Reed targets and eighty five Matthew Golden targets.
31:51And that might be the best case scenario if the Packers run game isn't good this year.
31:56And I'm just not that excited about that. Yeah.
31:59Remember, there's a world where either Marshawn Lloyd is great or Jacobs comes back and he's running the ball well and that'll kill the upside for these guys.
32:08That's the thing is Jacobs didn't even run the ball that well last year.
32:12In the second half, no. The first half, I thought he was pretty good.
32:16They just kept doing it. Yeah. Well, you had banged up Jordan Love in the second half of the season.
32:23You had bad Josh Jacobs second half of the season and banged up Josh Jacobs second half of the season.
32:29I just, I'm kind of hoping and just hearing from people in Green Bay that we may have a more pass-happy offense.
32:36And the last time we had a pass-happy offense was a big year for Jaden Reed.
32:41It was 2023. It was a big year for Jordan Love, his best season so far as a fantasy quarterback and he
32:48attempted 34 passes per game that year. So I'm kind of hoping we see that the last two years he's been under 30 pass attempts per game.
32:56And Heath is right. Like we haven't seen a concentrated passing attack but we also don't have a very robust receiving core
33:03like we've had the last couple of years for the Packers.
33:06So you got three receivers that hopefully will get their opportunities.
33:10So I don't think it's much more than the numbers he said but I do think it's a little bit more so
33:16maybe bump Watson up to 120 and the other two guys around 100.
33:21That's still probably kind of what you might get with the Colts offense too because I don't think that's going to be the most pass-happy offense either.
33:29So I think we get maybe a similar type of pass volume for those guys.
33:34And so I don't listen I'm not going to argue Downs versus Reed.
33:38I think they're both kind of similar type players that we've seen some great moments.
33:42We've seen some good moments and we've seen some crappy moments.
33:46And you're counting on you know at least on one hand I trust Jordan Love a lot more than I do Daniel Jones.
33:53I know Jones was great last year but I just think that Jordan Love's ceiling is significantly higher.
33:59So for me I'm going to take Reed. They're almost back to back.
34:03I think I have Reed at 39 and Downs I think is 41.
34:07Yeah. Downs I feel like I mean look he scored five touchdowns on 107 targets two years ago.
34:12Four touchdowns on 88 targets. I feel like touchdowns could be an issue for him.
34:17So maybe he's better in full PPR. Reed you know gets the rushing which doesn't count in full.
34:22I mean the yards count but that doesn't help him as much in full PPR.
34:27Maybe it's a full PPR versus nine and half scenario with those two guys.
34:32But what about the John Dajon Stribling Dave and where does he factor in right now he's going after Reed and and
34:38Josh Downs and the fantasy pros real time ADP but he's a riser for you.
34:43Dajon Stribling. He went from not even being in my top 200 to being right around pick 100 and it's just because
34:50he's the youngest and newest and potentially will never be double covered as long as everybody's relatively healthy in the 49ers passing offense.
34:57Evans old guy. Samuel old guy. I should call him Debo.
35:00Debo old guy. Kittle old guy coming back from an Achilles.
35:04Stribling young guy who was fast-tracked in preseason games and got a crazy amount of targets based on his snaps and obviously
35:11that's not going to be that no one can believe that that's going to happen in games but he's going to play
35:18a lot and he could be a matchup problem in the slot for San Francisco and I I like Purdy.
35:24I think Purdy's going to have a good year.
35:27I think he's going to throw plenty and Stribling is going to be one of those benefactors of it.
35:33Love getting him for my bench too but I would take downs ahead of him.
35:37I would take Jaden Reed ahead of him and even guys like Jalen Coker, Matthew Golden, those guys I would take ahead
35:44of Stribling too but he's an interesting name and he's kind of fun so looking for him in that round nine range for sure.
35:52It's not round 10. He is young on this team but it's kind of funny that Dejan Stribling is one of the
35:58oldest wide receivers from the draft class. Yeah, but he's like a baby.
36:02Do you think and I could just be completely wrong on this but I still think that Stribling needs an injury.
36:09Oh, to really take off? Of course. But that's why I'm drafting him in like round nine or ten.
36:15To matter? Well, I mean the thing is with the Packers and the Niners are similar.
36:20It's like if a guy gets a hundred targets, their offenses are so efficient and that you know that they could matter.
36:27But I don't think he's getting a hundred targets if Evans and Debo and Kittle and McCaffrey are healthy.
36:33I think you're spot on with that but if there's a team you want to bet on with somebody getting hurt at
36:40that position or those positions, you know, they've already put Pierce Hall on IR, Christian Kirk on IR, Pierce Hall out for the season.
36:47You know, like Dave said, Kittle, we don't know what his role is going to be, you know, coming back from the
36:54injury that we're just excited that he's playing. We won.
36:57And the same thing with Evans. Like, you know, those two guys, you know, just where they're at right now.
37:03And so it doesn't appear to be that Debo is going to be that much of a factor in the passing game.
37:10That could obviously change as the season goes on.
37:13But I think if you're just making a bet on a wide receiver handcuff essentially or a wide receiver lottery ticket, like
37:20this is one of the best bets you can make because he's looked good.
37:24As Adam said, he doesn't need a lot of opportunities to be successful.
37:28We've seen a lot of different, you know, things happen with rookie receivers.
37:32We're young receivers in this offense. You know, Brandon Ayoub being probably the best example that, you know, having some great moments
37:39as a rookie and then kind of getting back in the doghouse in his second year.
37:44And maybe that's just kind of who he is after what we're seeing.
37:48But there's just such an easy path to success here if that happens.
37:52And, you know, we talked about this last week, like they've done, you know, I remember, I think it was after the
37:59first preseason game, it was like of the 20 snaps he played, it was like almost half and half inside outside of just moving him around.
38:07To give him, I think, the opportunities to play a variety of roles just in case they need him to.
38:13So it, it, it's a, it's a great stash with potential to be more right away.
38:18But I think, you know, you're just kind of hoping like, oh, if Evans misses time and he's been banged up the
38:25last few years, or if, you know, they, they can't find a good complimentary option.
38:30Like he's got huge upside. And one of the things that I've seen from the wide receivers who get drafted late, you
38:37know, I usually use round nine or later, which pick 97 and end up being good.
38:42How do we predict them? Well, unfortunately, a lot of them really benefit from injuries and you just can't really predict that Brian Thomas jr.
38:49Perfect example of that. And like Wanda Robinson and Michael Wilson last year, perfect example of that.
38:55So it's hard to predict it, but you just have to like, I guess my point with stripling would be if there
39:02are, if there is an injury for the most, or even to for the oldest, most injury prone substation team in the
39:08NFL, like he, this could definitely be one of those guys that smashes his ADP.
39:13And unfortunately, look, it's totally realistic that you draft Dejan stripling.
39:16He does nothing in week one against the, in a super tough matchup.
39:21You drop them. And four weeks later, he's great.
39:23That happens all the time, but maybe that doesn't happen.
39:26Try to be patient. All right, let's go to Heath's risers here.
39:30Marshawn Lloyd. We already talked about him and real quick, when would you take Lloyd?
39:35Round seven. Mike Washington, a riser for you. And, you know, I think the fact that we're all kind of expecting now
39:42that Ashton Jendi is going to play week one.
39:44So if you have a draft this final week, you'll get Mike Washington a little bit more reasonable than he was for a couple of days.
39:53But I, I think this guy was so good in the preseason and he is a guy that Kubiak drafted after already having Ashton Jendi on the team.
40:01I view him as one of those guys. It's like a boom bust flex when Jendi is healthy.
40:07And as we saw already, Jendi could miss time.
40:10If he does, Mike Washington's a must start running back.
40:13And so he's still, even with Jendi getting to what looks like back to week one, still one of the top handcuff running backs.
40:20For me, it's kind of like when Coram and Mononga come off the board, I'm going to start considering Washington, a talented
40:27guy with almost no competition outside of Ashton Jendi.
40:30Did you, uh, did you happen to hear what Ran Carthon said about Mike Washington?
40:35I did not. So Ran Carthon, former general manager of the Titans, does the first pick podcast that Adam doesn't know about.
40:41It's called with the first pick. Sorry, with the first pick, excuse me, uh, with Ryan Wilson.
40:47It's great. They do a lot of draft coverage, but also get into a lot of stuff that goes on in the NFL, uh, currently.
40:55And Ran said, I think it was this past week.
40:58Uh, I saw the clip on, on social media that Mike Washington is a better fit for the Raiders offense than Ashton Jendi.
41:05Now that doesn't mean he's going to play over Ashton Jendi.
41:08That's better than Ashton Jendi. He's just a better fit for what he does and what this offense is asking their running backs to do.
41:16And so Ran also, also, by the way, former NFL running back played for the Colts.
41:21Um, we'll find out if that's the case, I do think, I remember saying this after the draft with Kubiak that are we going to see the Seahawks?
41:30And it was just so dominant for Jendi last year that Raheem Mostert, who was their number two running back, barely played.
41:37I'm going to guess he had probably the highest percentage of touches of any running back on his team last season.
41:43And now we have this opening from Jendi being hurt and the way Washington looked.
41:48Does Kubiak get his chance to use a two back system and take some pressure off of Jendi?
41:53So you got to be a little bit concerned about Jendi, even if he is a hundred percent.
41:59And I think it's a great call by Heath.
42:02You know, I'm sure we've all moved him up to a certain degree based on where it was.
42:07I know Heath was sort of ahead of the curve on this, that this could be a potential flex.
42:13You know, there's always these guys like you mentioned to those Corum and Manonga, like we may get, we may get flex
42:20production while the starter quote unquote starter is healthy.
42:23And then you get that lottery ticket. Boom. If the starter does go down, I keep forgetting to bring this guy up.
42:30It's not really relevant to this conversation, but got an email about him.
42:34It's relevant to this conversation, not this topic. Got an email about him and never read it.
42:39I don't think, but do you guys think Dylan Sampson is going to be someone that could give us flex production based
42:46on his role with the Browns, Dylan Sampson? I don't know that the Browns will have enough offensive success for that to happen.
42:53I think they're like Judkins is their best offensive player and they're just going to want to keep him on the field
43:00to try to keep the offense alive, but maybe.
43:03Okay. All right. Let's get back to Heath. So you got it.
43:07Well, if you, if you, if you like just the PPR guys, so like Gainwell, Rashad White, TyJ Spears, like Dylan Sampson's
43:13in that mold, but at the very end of that group.
43:17Man, you said if you like, and I almost just started singing Pina Coladas right there.
43:22But Heath, Chris Godwin is your next riser. He's almost like the FFT darling, like the, the community riser here.
43:28We are excited about him. He's going 88th right now in that real-time ADP as wide receiver 35.
43:34How about you, Heath? I just want you to know that while I was at the beach yesterday, I did have a Pina Colada.
43:41So you'd be happy to, I do like Pina Coladas.
43:44Yeah, I was, I was pretty out on Chris Godwin a month ago and it's been very encouraging.
43:50Camp reports as I think Jamie made the joke about last week.
43:54He's an old guy who got through training camp healthy.
43:57That was your joke. I'm, I'm still behind Jamie on him, but I'm now ahead of ADP.
44:02Happy to draft Chris Godwin in round seven. If he gets there, I think he's a, he's a good wide receiver three.
44:09That might be a wide receiver two in week one or better.
44:13If a Mecca Buka is not healthy. Parker Washington, a riser for you.
44:17Is this reluctantly? Uh, right now he's going 66th overall.
44:20That is round six wide receiver 29. So I'm ahead of Parker Washington's ADP apparently now too, but I never get, I
44:27never get, I think I've drafted him twice in 20 drafts, but, uh, no, you don't have a choice.
44:33Like the choice is how much do you want to react to Parker Washington?
44:37Not if you react to Parker Washington, it's been one of it's either going to be one of the most hilarious rounds
44:44of coach speak that we've ever had, or he's the most obvious breakout ever.
44:48Those are pretty much the only two options, not just coach speak reporter speak to, and that was kind of the thing
44:55is like every reporter has been Parker Washington. If Luther Burden had not gotten hurt, it might've been a, uh, a close
45:02battle between Parker Washington and Luther Burden for like the most positive vibes of the off season.
45:07But because burden missed a month, I think Washington was easily the, uh, the darling of, of the off season and Dalton
45:14Schultz, the last riser on this list for you currently tight end 18 in between Hunter Henry and Brenton strange two picks
45:21after two tight end picks after Juwan Johnson. I would like to draft Dalton Schultz before all of those guys.
45:27Thankfully, I don't have to a lot of times he's, I mean, I look today, he's available in 49% of leagues.
45:34Some leagues haven't drafted yet. So maybe that's why, but he's going to be available.
45:38He's going to be on the waiver wire column for sure.
45:42I would think, um, he's, he had 106 targets last year.
45:45They lost more target competition than they gained. He's the guy that CJ Stroud trusts when Nico Collins is not open and
45:52he has a chance to be 110 plus targets this year.
45:55He does have the worst based on last year, the worst week one matchup with Buffalo.
46:00Things could change, but Buffalo was terrific at covering tight ends.
46:04They smother tight ends. You'd not give up a lot of short, easy throws, but they don't have Sean McDermott anymore.
46:10I don't know what that's going to look like here.
46:13So I would guess a completely different defensive system.
46:16Yeah, could be. Yeah. They're changing their front. So there's definitely going to be a change.
46:21guys, because of what has transpired post NFL draft.
46:24Like you, you thought Jaden Higgins was going to be this potential breakout guy.
46:28We had Chris Harris, you know, Harris football saying that that was one of his favorite breakouts.
46:34I think a lot of people were thinking he's going to have a big role and tank Dell was going to be healthy.
46:41And then we see both those guys starting the season and I are Higgins out for the year.
46:46We thought Jordan Tyson was going to be a big piece of the Saints offense.
46:51Another tight end and Jawan Johnson, who was awesome at the end of last season for fantasy managers, given the cost.
46:58Like these are just two. Okay. Holy cow. I whiffed on the, on, on tight end because somebody took two and I don't know who to draft.
47:06Like these two guys are great. He may not have the best, may not have the best matchups week in, week out,
47:13but yeah, you know, under the circumstances, like they're easy fallback options.
47:17If he's going to get six targets, if if, sorry, Adam, if, if Schultz is going to get six or more targets,
47:24he had 10 of those games last year, 11 plus PPR and seven of them.
47:28Nice. So that's what you got to hope for.
47:31You have to worry about, well, does the tenor of this offense change because David Montgomery's there?
47:36They should be able to run the ball a little bit more effectively.
47:40Guys like Jalen Noel and Kayshaun booty are going to get bigger opportunities.
47:44Booty obviously just got acquired by the Texans from new England.
47:48Are they going to take targets away from Schultz?
47:51Schultz is kind of boring, but if, if you see a pathway to him getting six plus targets per game, I think,
47:57you know, the numbers will be there. Okay. I'm not sure booty.
48:01I'm not sure booty and Schultz will ever be within 30 yards of each other on a route.
48:07That's true. Um, I'm going to scrimmage. Kayshaun booty is like a gunner on special teams.
48:12All right. We'll be right back, um, with more Jamie's risers and then our followers.
48:16I'm trying to save a little time for your emails at the end of the show.

49:35I recently took a trip to Memphis for the FFT draft-a-thon.
49:38While we were there, we also got to experience a little bit of what makes Memphis so special, including some of the food the city is famous for.
49:47We had Memphis style barbecue with pulled pork ribs and all the classic sides.
49:51It was an incredible trip, especially getting to spend time with everyone involved.
49:55Enjoy some great local food and support a cause that means so much to all of us.
50:01And while I was away enjoying the trip, my place back home was just sitting empty.
50:06It got me thinking, if you're going to be away anyway, why not put that space to use?
50:11While you're traveling or taking off for a long weekend, you could list your space on Airbnb and earn some extra cash while you're gone.
50:19And when big events come to your city, like a major game, concert, festival, or convention, travelers are looking for places to stay.
50:26Listing your space on Airbnb can be a way to welcome those visitors to your city while putting your space to work
50:33and earning some extra cash that you can put toward your next trip.
50:37Your home might be worth more than you think.
50:40Find out how much at Airbnb.com slash host. And Jamie's got a couple of risers to talk about.
50:46Jordan Love, who is in real-time ADP, QB 18, 140th overall.
50:49And Quinton Johnston, who is now wide receiver 41, going just ahead of Jaden Reed.
50:54He also had Ramondre Stevenson on the list, but we talked about that.
50:58But Jordan Love, do you have him higher than QB 18?
51:01Yes. And I would take him ahead of Patrick Holmes.
51:04Woo-wee. Okay. Would you take him ahead of Kyler Murray?
51:07No. They're back-to-back. Okay. How about Quinton Johnston versus Jaden Reed?
51:11Quinton Johnston over Jaden Reed. I think you're looking at a guy for the last two seasons has scored eight touchdowns and
51:18got off to such a great start last year.
51:20The first four games of the season, at least 14.9 PPR points per game, averaged 19.9 PPR points in those four games.
51:27Joe Alt was healthy for all four of those games.
51:30So healthy offensive line. I think Rashawn Slater back.
51:33There's a, there's a path to a lot of production in this offense.
51:37And this was one, you know, you've kind of framed this in a way that I didn't necessarily mean to put Quinton Johnston on.
51:45This isn't somebody that's been a significant riser. It's just been somebody that's slowly risen after the last couple of weeks, not
51:52necessarily moved a ton, but just somebody I get more excited about.
51:55So I would actually look for him in round six at this point.
51:59Like I think when Johnston could get to that thousand and 10 mark that we love his max so far has been again, eight touchdowns, 775 yards.
52:08The way that Mike McDaniel talks about him and the fact that I hope he stays healthy.
52:13I love it banged up in camp. It just feels like Latin McConkie and Quinton Johnston are both have big years.
52:20He averaged 11.8 PPR points per game last year.
52:22And that was his average even after his big four games that Jamie just talked about in 2024.
52:28He averaged 11.7. So if we just look at this guy and say, okay, he's close to 12 PPR points just in
52:35a normal year for the Chargers without a genius play caller, then maybe there's a chance there that he can get a
52:42little bit better than that and could be worth the round six back.
52:46I'd like some odds on Quinton Johnston outscoring Ladd McConkie for a second straight year.
52:50You're the guy that does this. You put the odds out there.
52:54No, I want to add him to give him so I can make him make it better, but you're the professional.
53:01Yeah, I'm bad at giving odds for if anybody wants to be inspired.
53:05My podcast league team picking fifth 14 team league.
53:08I went running back heavy McCaffrey Bowers, Travis, ETN, HN and Cam Scadaboo and my two starting wide receivers.
53:14I'm sure I was the last person to take a wide receiver.
53:17Chris Godwin 61st overall Quentin Johnston 80th overall. Jamie loves my team.
53:21I really do. It's too great. Too great wide receivers in that type of format to get at that point.
53:27You'd love to have a little bit of a better guy at the top of that.
53:32I can give you a similar situation in our 18 team office.
53:36I think it's 18 team, 18 team office league where you start one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver, tight end and two flexes.
53:44I have Garrett Wilson, Chris Godwin and Quentin Johnston.
53:47Yeah. Great. Love it. Okay. And Jane Reed. Oh, okay.
53:50On your, on your bench. Jane Reed. Yeah. Fallers here.
53:53Then we might retire it after this one, but Jamie's faller is.
53:57I don't know. Maybe it's run its course, but Jeremiah Love hasn't run anything yet, but yeah, he's, he's currently going 30th
54:03in the real time ADP and the NFC ADP.
54:06Let's see where he's going here. He's going 37th.
54:09Where would you take Jeremiah Love? Yeah. In that range, 37th.
54:12He's around four pick early round four pick for me.
54:16I'm just a little concerned with the ankle injury on top of all the other things that could go wrong for the Cardinals.
54:23He's an amazing talent. And I think you're going to get a lot of highlight plays and some big games, but their schedule is awful.
54:30Their win total is not expected to be very high.
54:34There's going to be Tyler Algier taking touchdowns, which is nerve wracking.
54:37We'll see if James Connor gets healthy and plays at some point.
54:41So if you want to draft him in round three and you look at that group of running backs, Javante Williams, Kyron
54:48Williams, Travis Achan, DeAndre Swift, Brees Hall, like he's in that conversation for sure.
54:52You know, whether you want him at the front of it or the back of it.
54:57For me, he's in front of all those guys.
55:00I'm sorry, he's behind all those guys except for Brees Hall.
55:03So I just think with Swift having no Mononghi and Achan having no Kamara early in the season, that gives those guys
55:10a little bit of a leg up and they're on much better offenses.
55:14And then it's just a matter of just how much does the talent of Jeremiah Love exceed all of those other players?
55:21So I'm just a little bit cautious. I haven't drafted him very much.
55:25I think I haven't been maybe one league. I just did my week one projections this weekend and we're going to have our rankings on the site tomorrow.
55:34I don't have Jeremiah Love as a top 24 running back this week.
55:38Yeah, I don't know if I'll be there either.
55:41You know, like this is one where you're talking Marshawn Lloyd and Ramondre Stevenson and guys that, you know, could be in a much better standing than him.
55:50I don't know if Ramondre's in a much better situation, but without Trevion, I take him over to Jeremiah.
55:55Oh, I mean, I'll give you I mean over Jeremiah Love.
55:59Yeah, I guess so. But I mean, tomorrow or Tuesday, whatever, I'll give you plenty of running backs who had a ton
56:06of touches against Seattle and did absolutely garbage. They didn't play on the Patriots.
56:10I mean, I think B. John Robinson might have been one of them.
56:14I mean, I could be confusing with the Patriots defense because their run defense was even better than Seattle's when Milton Williams was healthy.
56:22But these were two of the toughest matchups in fantasy for running backs last year.
56:26OK, moving on. Carnell Tate currently going 77th in between Marvin Harrison Jr.
56:30and DK Metcalf. You Carnell Tate a follower for you.
56:33Jamie. Carnell Tate's a follower just with the way the Titans offense has looked like this is this is one, you know,
56:40how you how you set this up beginning of camp was willing to take the risk on him in round six, like top rookie wide receiver.
56:48They needed this type of player, special talent, and he still might be.
56:52I have a feeling second half of the season, he's going to look a lot better.
56:57But right now the Titans look lost. And there's just a lot of like I'd rather have Quinn Johnston and Jaden Reed
57:04than Carnell Tate, which is something I never thought I'd say.
57:08OK, and Terry McLaurin wide receiver 24 right now going 55th in between Devante Adams and Luther Burden.
57:13Terry McLaurin, a follower for you. Yeah, you know, first off the dig signing, you know that that was a an issue.
57:20You know, it was it was great when there was the path to whatever David Blau said, you know, the 10 targets per game.
57:28Hopefully that's still the case. But now you have offensive line concerns.
57:31You have target concerns. It's just hard to say that Terry McLaurin at 31 years old is that exciting.
57:37So I think he's a good settle for number two wide receiver.
57:41Still has the upside to be a top 20 guy.
57:44But this was somebody I remember the fishbowl. I drafted him.
57:48Fourth, fourth or fifth round. You know, I forget how it all played out.
57:52But like as my second receiver was like so excited about the opportunity.
57:56You know, that was a draft that was in early, early middle, middle of August, I think early August.
58:02So since camp, it's just been a slow slide.
58:05Like I'd rather have Devante Adams than than Terry McLaurin.
58:08I never would have said that at start camp.
58:11Okay, good stuff. Jeremiah Love, Carnell Tate and Terry McLaurin as followers for Jamie.
58:15Heath has Chuba Hubbard as a follower. He's currently looking at that fantasy pros real time.
58:20He's still just ahead of of Josh Jacobs, which I think.
58:23Well, you tell me if you agree with it, but also ahead of Jonathan Brooks.
58:28Chuba Hubbard is RB 30 right now. What are you thinking about the Panthers backfield?
58:33I don't think that number is accurate. Looking at FFPC drafts from the last two days, he's going 102nd overall, which sounds a little bit more right.
58:41I think he's around nine pick. And the funny thing is Chuba Hubbard's fall.
58:46I wasn't necessarily talking entirely about my rankings, but just about the way things are now.
58:50I think his fall has made him a better draft pick than he was a month ago.
58:56A month ago, I didn't want to draft him at all.
58:59And I wanted to draft Jonathan Brooks because he'd be so much cheaper.
59:03And now Chuba might be a slightly better value than Jonathan Brooks, but I still wouldn't take him before round nine.
59:10So if he's actually going 88th overall, I think that's too high, but round nine pick and a chance that maybe he's
59:17just the lead back again at some point. And the latest report we got was that the Panthers were optimistic about Jonathan Brooks being ready for week one.
59:25So we've got to keep that in mind. But yeah, I mean, like guy who's torn his ACL twice and now is
59:32hurt, you know, but it's well, it's soreness. Yeah.
59:35All right. We'll probably find out it was planned like McCaffrey's.
59:38Yeah, exactly. No, it's McKay lemon. He is now going 109th overall in between Michael Pittman and Dajon Stribling.
59:44I thought this guy was right in the conversation, right behind Jordan Tyson and Carnell Tate.
59:49And I guess he's still in the conversation in between them now because Jordan Tyson's out for a lot longer, but you
59:56never like it when rookie wide receivers miss a bunch of time in camp.
60:01And it sounds like the expectation should be week one that Don Tavian Wicks is the wide receiver two on his team.
60:07I don't think that's going to last very long.
60:10And again, lemon probably now a better pick than he was when his ADP was higher.
60:15Round 10 seems about right. I would rather draft him.
60:18I don't, I'm not drafting Michael Pittman and I would draft him over Dajon Stribling, but he's one of those guys that you talked about with Stribling.
60:27You might drop him after week one. Yeah. Don't click McKay lemon.
60:30If you're thinking you might drop him after week one, right?
60:34Yes. Like you, you draft him and plan on holding him for six weeks.
60:38Yeah, that's a great point. Tyler Warren is tight end for an ADP.
60:42He's going 50th. That's 15 to 16 picks ahead of Sam Laporta and Tucker.
60:47Absurd. Absurd. So he's a faller for you, Tyler Warren.
60:50Yeah. I don't, I don't think the Keenan Allen news was good news for Sam Laporta.
60:55It was, or for Tyler Warren. It was, it's my way you love.
60:59Well, no, you said Sam Laporta when you're talking about his ADP.
61:03Um, they work in exactly the same part of the field and Laporta has been a little banged up here at the end of camp as well.
61:11And I, I, I said Laporta for Warren again.
61:14Um, didn't want to say anything. Sam Laporta. Yeah.
61:17No, I, I'm just, I would draft both Sam Laporta and Kyle Pitts ahead of Tyler Warren.
61:22And I said all the names correctly that time.
61:25There you go. And a last guy on your list, another faller at tight end, second year tight end for the chargers, a Rondé Laporta.
61:32A Rondé Laporta. Don't, don't do not, do not draft him.
61:36He was super cool last year, but like maybe we'll pick him up on the waiver wire at some point.
61:42Do not draft him. Okay. It might pick up Charlie Kohler.
61:45Yeah. I don't really believe that either. Yeah. Come on.
61:49And the joke, who's got to be the, like the guy who's going to catch.
61:53It's not Charlie Kohler. He's never done that. Yeah.
61:56I mean, remember Colby Parkinson when he never did that?
61:59And then he was the guy last year for the Rams.
62:03I mean, that's sometimes that happens, but you look, you notice that they're not talking about Colby Parkinson this year, right?
62:09Like the guy. No, now they're talking about Tyler Higby.
62:12They're talking about Terrence Ferguson all the time. Ferguson has been hurt and they made Higby a captain.
62:18Well, Higby's being a captain does not increase his fantasy value.
62:21This will be the last thing I say about the FFPC drafts.
62:25Terrence Ferguson's like an eighth round pick. That's kind of crazy.
62:28It's incredible. If he hits, he's going to be crazy.
62:32Listen, I love Terrence Ferguson. You say that literally about everybody.
62:35I would definitely take a flyer on Terrence Ferguson of all the tight ends in Los Angeles.
62:40Yes. But if you look at what these coaches do, like they don't do what we want them to do.
62:47Like we want to see a Rondé Gadsden. We want to see Terrence Ferguson.
62:51And you may get Parkinson or Higby and you may get Charlie Kohler.
62:55Dan just took Terrence Ferguson 151st overall in our elimination league.
62:58And I'm really upset about it because I was hoping to take him with the 153rd pick.
63:04Okay. That's round 13. Not round eight. Yes. Okay.
63:06I mean, I've seen Dejean Shribling go round six.
63:09I'm not going to say who took him, but it's a prominent fantasy analyst in the high stakes league.
63:15So there's some definite people who are like when you love your guy, this speaks to the whole thing that we've talked about before.
63:23When you want your guy, you go get your guy.
63:26Just be a little reasonable about it. Well, when you're in high stakes leagues, you got like if we talked about Shribling hits, that's a huge win.
63:34Right. But there's going to be, you know, two or three other people that you could have taken in that spot in
63:41that round at that ADP that could have been better if they don't hit.
63:45Dave's got up two fallers that he wanted to mention.
63:49Cam Scadaboo we talked about 40 minutes ago and a Mecca, a Buka.
63:53And I feel so sick. The toe. The toe.
63:55I loved a Buka. Top 15 receiver for me.
63:58All off season long. And then he hurts his toe.
64:01And the fact that it's taking him just until now to get back into practice for Tampa and it looks like he'll
64:08be ready to go for week one. It's discouraging.
64:11It makes me worry about him being able to reach his ceiling this year.
64:15Makes me worried about him re-injuring it. It does seem like if he's out this long that it was turf toe.
64:22I guess I'm glad that it happened now because if it happened in season, we'd have to have him on the bench or in an IR spot.
64:30But missing all this camp time, I doubt that he'll be ready to be full go and command targets the same way
64:37that he would if he had been healthy all preseason long.
64:41Nice thing is you got him cheaper though. That's true.
64:44But what do I want to say here? Godwin looked great in the practice.
64:48I saw the reports have been good about Godwin.
64:51Ted Hurst has been making inroads on getting playing time.
64:54Jalen McMillan, who was out with an injury, he's on the same timetable as a Buka.
64:59So this receiving core is getting pretty crowded and Baker loves Ted Hurst.
65:03And he's been talking up Godwin, saying like, this is the best version of Chris Godwin since 2024, which I mean, that dude was pretty amazing in 2024.
65:12And he looked good in camp this year. So I'm a little worried about a Buka being eight targets per game.
65:18And that's what I was kind of expecting before the injury.
65:22And now it's going to be around seven. You're going to get him as a number two wide receiver.
65:28He'll have some blow up weeks. Probably won't be for the first few weeks of the season.
65:33Luther Burden or Emeka Buka? I think you got to go Burden now.
65:37Yep. Yep. Yeah. Burden the hand. You know what they say.
65:40It's worth one in the Abuka. Thank you to Whoop for sponsoring this week's Risers and Fallers.
65:46With Whoop, you can better understand how your body is responding to the travel, the training, the late nights, the weather changes.
65:52It helps you see what's supporting your energy and recovery and what might be holding you back so you can make meaningful changes to enhance your overall health.
66:01And once again, if you'd like to join Heath and Jamie and tons of other Whoop users and learn how you can
66:08get a free month on us, head to join.whoop.com slash FFT.
66:11That is join.whoop.com slash FFT. All right. I'm going to go three minutes for emails here.
66:16You guys ready? Go. Tim in Denver. Hey, Mary, Harry, and Lloyd.
66:20I know that one. Do you? Adam and Adamer.
66:23Oh. Love it. 12-team PPR league where the prior year's champion gets to pick a temporary one-year rule change.
66:29The guy who won last year never wins and pulled off a miracle, and now his rule change is the dumbest rule in the entire world.
66:37We are only allowed to make five acquisitions all year.
66:40So bad. How would this change your strategy, Jamie?
66:43How would it change my strategy? I hope there's a lot of trades.
66:47I would be clearly cautious with the moves I would make, but it just sucks because, like, you can't stream defenses.
66:53You got to worry about your bye weeks. I hate it.
66:57Yeah, but, like, do you take a defense earlier?
67:00Do you take, like, Jonathan Taylor over Puka? Yeah, do you take two defenses?
67:04You get how many bench spots? He said we at least increase the bench size, so it's almost like a best ball league.
67:11Oh, yeah. I mean, in that case, you're taking two defenses.
67:15You're taking two kickers, probably. You're taking, or I would hopefully eliminate kickers in defense if you want to just really make it the best version of this.
67:23But, yeah, you got to be cautious. There you go, Frank.
67:27My strategy would be to leave the league from Frank.
67:30I love it. All right, next question. We'll give us one to Dave.
67:34Hopefully he can get it. Dan would absolutely butcher that answer.
67:37You guys would love, I don't know how much you guys listen, talking to Heath and Dave, like, you guys listen to
67:44the mailbag when we do Fantasy Cops because Dan does not answer the question.
67:49Dan just, I'm going to say it, sorry. No, no, he just craps on the league.
67:54He shits all over the league. Come on! Like, just constantly.
67:57Like, he would just forget about that answer. Just destroy the league.
68:01And does he go on and on for, like, 90 seconds?
68:04Destroying the league. 90 seconds? That reminds me. I need to remove his commissioner access in the Beyond the Box Score Dynasty League.
68:11Yes, there you go. This question is, Dave, I don't have a name or a city here.
68:17Bob from Ogden, Utah. Dear Hillel, Dave, and Josh.
68:19Come on, Dave. It's easy. Hillel? It's not easy.
68:22Hillel is pretty easy, though. Is it? Is it Red Hot Chili Peppers?
68:26These are former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarists. He read it in the answer.
68:31He read it in the email. He's flexing his RHCP love.
68:34What's your favorite Chili Peppers song? Oh, I don't know any of the names of the songs.
68:39How many times have you seen them live? For those of you curious, I've seen them twice.
68:45We were actually going to do the Beat Chad Smith Leagues again, but we weren't able to make it happen, unfortunately.
68:51So you gave it away now? They felt bad about that, so we'll do it next year.
68:56Oh, man. Oh, the question was, it's for Dave.
68:59What do you do in a league where everyone drafts quarterbacks early?
69:03We always say, wait for a quarterback, wait for a quarterback.
69:06You really can't because you end up with crappy quarterbacks.
69:10Is everybody taking two quarterbacks early? Cook over Jonathan Taylor.
69:13It is not enough for me, but that's the same thing I would say about HN, and it's just because it's not
69:20as if, like, I know James Cook was right behind those guys when you look at the rankings of where guys finished
69:26last year, but he wasn't right behind those guys in terms of fantasy points per game.
69:31It's a pretty big gap. And so, first off, I'm not going to lower Jonathan Taylor just because Daniel Jones might get hurt.
69:39But second off, he would have to make up a pretty big gap.
69:43Right. That's the boogeyman case for Jonathan Taylor. You want the boogeyman case for James Cook?
69:48Okay. I won't give it to you. Yeah, sure.
69:50Go for it. And we'll end the show on that.
69:53385 touches last year. Career high. Yeah. That's a lot for a dude.
69:58835 yards and six touchdowns off the last five rushing leaders.
70:01It's such a random stat. I love it. It's such a random stat.
70:05It's like... Well, what does it take to be the leading rusher in the league?
70:10It takes a lot of work. And so, the year after, there's going to be some regression.
70:15But he barely had more yards in the same amount of carries, basically, as Jonathan Taylor and Derrick Henry.
70:21It's basically just semantics that he won the rushing title.
70:24Like, are we not afraid that Jonathan Taylor or Derrick Henry are both going to have a 4,000-yard title?
70:30They didn't win the rushing title, Adam Henry. What's that?
70:33They didn't win the rushing title. That's not how it works.
70:36Right. That's what I'm saying. It's like... You know.
70:39All right. We're going to go. I'm sorry you don't understand math.
70:43He was 15 touches short of 400. The rules about 400-touch running backs should probably apply to him.
70:49Right. Exactly. Draft Ray Davis. Everyone sucks. They're all busts.
70:52Everyone's a bust. We'll talk to you on Tuesday, everybody.
70:55Enjoy your day off. And if you're still drafting, good luck.
70:58If not, let's get ready for week one. Talk to you Tuesday on Fantasy Football Today.
71:03College football season is Modelo season. There's nothing quite like a college football Saturday.
71:08The fight songs, the rivalries, the traditions passed down from one generation of fans to the next.
71:13And of course, they're settling in for a full day of football with a Chris Modelo.
71:18Because Saturdays are for the gridiron and Cervasus. College football is built on tradition.
71:22And no one knows tradition like Modelo. From the fanquakes that shake the stadium to the rivalry trophies that mean everything year
71:29after year, these traditions are what make Saturday special.
71:32So if you're listening to this, consider it your sign.
71:35Grab a Chris Modelo, settle in, and enjoy a full day of college football.
71:39Because it's just not game day. It's tradition. And those who keep college football traditions alive deserve a Modelo.
71:45Modelo is the official beer sponsor of the college football playoff.
71:49Drink responsibly. Modelo Especial Beer. Imported by Crown Imports, Chicago, Illinois.
71:52Going to play a game. Bye.
