AJ Brown is identified as a key early-round wide receiver selection.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveRole23:34

Andrew Erickson highlights Breece Hall's three-down skill set and the Jets' improved offensive line, projecting him to be highly involved in the passing game despite the full PPR format.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveUsage12:27

Andrew Erickson expects Chase Brown to see a 'boatload of volume' in a contract year, noting his involvement in the Bengals' passing game and the coaching staff's high regard for him.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveUsage6:53

Nick Ercolano views Christian McCaffrey as a clear pick at 1.06, noting his cemented role in the 49ers' offense, his goal-line usage, and a projected workload of 300 carries and 115 targets.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection57:54

Colston Loveland is projected as a top-three tight end.

Insight page
PositiveValue78:48

Colston Loveland is a player the source likes enough to draft, and he is featured in a promotional giveaway for the channel.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveValue75:30

Dalton Kincaid is a high-efficiency target who ranked near the top in per-route and per-target metrics last year. Drafting him is a bet on talent, especially if he plays more than 50% of snaps and is fully recovered from his PCL injury.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveValue16:50

Both Nick Ercolano and Andrew Erickson view Derrick Henry as an 'absolute steal' in the middle of the third round, citing the Ravens' expected offensive bounce-back and Henry's lack of competition for carries.

Insight page
NegativeUsage59:32

Derrick Henry was drafted early, but the drafter noted that taking additional running backs later became redundant due to league flex settings.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeValue57:30

Ja'Marr Chase provides a significant positional advantage, but drafting him requires careful roster construction to avoid sacrificing depth.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveProjection56:01

Jahmyr Gibbs is considered one of the best players available in the draft.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection10:41

Andrew Erickson considers James Cook a strong first-round pick in PPR formats, highlighting his 44-catch season two years ago and his role in a high-powered Bills offense, while noting his 18 touchdowns and league-leading rushing yards last year.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveBreakout31:45

Jonathan Brooks is a top-tier running back prospect with a skill set similar to Aaron Jones; he is expected to take over the Carolina backfield as the season progresses, especially if he regains his pre-ACL explosiveness.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue20:05

Despite arguably his worst season as a rookie, Josh Jacobs still finished as a top-10 running back in points per game; he remains a strong target if healthy.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection77:19

Kyler Murray is viewed as a potential weekly fantasy starter due to his improved support system in Minnesota. The source prefers him over Willis for his upside, noting he can be easily cut if the situation fails.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeValue57:30

Ladd McConkey is viewed as a decent secondary wide receiver option, though relying on him after an early-round star like Ja'Marr Chase can diminish the overall roster advantage.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

PositiveValue90:44

Michael Pittman Jr. is highlighted as a potential PPR machine who can be drafted in the eighth or ninth round, offering reliable production that helps balance a roster relying on rookies.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveProjection5:07

The source ranks Puka Nacua as the WR1 overall, citing his high target volume and the expectation that he will reap rewards in full PPR formats, while explicitly dismissing injury concerns as a strategy.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeValue55:41

The source notes they have not been a big Rashee Rice guy this year, but acknowledges that stance could be wrong given his draft value.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveValue71:40

Rashad Bateman is a strong late-round upside play as he is finally being moved around the formation and potentially serving as the Ravens' number two receiver, especially with Zay Flowers dealing with a minor injury.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveSleeper26:06

R.J. Harvey is receiving too much hate in drafts; he fits the profile of a rookie running back who improves in years two and three, and he offers significant upside if J.K. Dobbins gets injured.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveProjection30:18

Nick Ercolano identifies Travis Etienne as having a 'sneaky, great spot' in New Orleans, predicting high volume due to an underrated offensive line and a high number of total plays.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection29:49

Trevor Lawrence is a strong fantasy pick due to his rushing upside and the high-powered Liam Coen scheme; he is expected to be a consistent fantasy producer with a deep receiver room.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveValue55:54

Tyler Warren is explicitly liked as a late-round draft pick.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveUsage55:26

Wan'Dale Robinson is highlighted as a strong value pick in full PPR formats, with the potential to see eight catches on ten targets in a given game.

0:04Grainger, for the ones who get it done. Hello everybody, welcome into the FantasyPros - Fantasy Football Podcast.
0:09I'm Ryan Warmly. Joined today we got a full house by Andrew Erickson, Jake Seeley from The Athletic, and Nick Ercolano from BDGE.
0:15Nick, thank you so much for coming on here.
0:18We were talking a little bit before the show.
0:20You have sort of made this an annual appearance on the show.
0:23First time I've gotten to do one of these mock drafts with you, so I appreciate you being here.
0:28Yeah, I appreciate you nailing the name again. Like I said, you know, you hit the last name and I was pleasantly
0:34surprised because of the things I've been called throughout the years.
0:38You know, teachers, first time they've tried it. It's been all over the place.
0:41So glad to be here. Glad to link up for the first time and ready to mock.
0:46Yeah, I told you before the show that I've gotten all the mispronunciations on my name as well.
0:51Wormley was the most common one. Jake, your last name, did you ever get anything other than Seeley?
0:56Yeah, Brown. That's what they usually thought it was.
0:58I've gotten Sicily before. I've gotten Kaeli, Sylee, like the Sicily where they added the second C somewhere.
1:03I don't get that one. You know what I mean?
1:06Erickson, I can't imagine anybody's got your name, Brown.
1:08Pretty straightforward there, yeah. No, it's pretty straightforward, but people will call me Eric and not Andrew.
1:13Oh yeah. Which low key, one of my pet peeves.
1:16Oh, that's good information to have. Did you ever get a Drew?
1:19Yeah. Do you ever get like the people call you a Drew?
1:22Yeah, no, sometimes you get a Drew. Sometimes you get a Drew.
1:26I don't mind Drew. I don't mind Andy. A couple people call me those names, but yeah.
1:30All right. Well, we've got a PPR mock draft here for the people.
1:34We've got some Discord users waiting in the room, so we'll get started here in just a second.

2:03I'll go ahead and get this thing unpaused here.
2:06We are picking mostly towards the back of this draft.
2:09I have the 12th pick. Erickson at 11. He keeps picking 11 in all the mock drafts we're doing.
2:14Jake is at pick nine and Nick is at pick six.
2:17So we'll see how the sort of early picks go before any of us gets on the clock.
2:22Nick, this is the first one of these I've done with you.
2:25I just want to kind of ask off the back picking in the middle.
2:29Are you going into this with any particular strategy for the early rounds in mind?
2:33No, I definitely don't have a strategy. And I think it's a little bit more difficult to have a strategy when you're
2:39in the middle because you don't actually really have a great idea of who's going to fall to you in the second round.
2:45I think when you're at the turn, you typically have like a tier of, you know, five or six players that will
2:51usually be there and kind of take your pick of the sauce.
2:55But in the sixth spot, I have a like a player that I would like to fall to me in the first round.
3:01But after that, there's no general strategy that I'd go into with the middle pick.
3:05I don't think. Jake, Puka Nakua going off the board.
3:08I think that's the first one. First time I've seen him going first in any of these.
3:12And obviously it makes sense when he's on the field.
3:15He's awesome. Does that feel like a surprise to you?
3:18Do you see the case for Puka as the one on one?
3:21I see the case for it. I would still go one of the two running backs, even in a full PPR.
3:27But, you know, my feelings on Nakua in general, that wide receiver is that I do have him as number one.
3:33And mostly just because if we're banking on everybody in Cincinnati to stay healthy.
3:37Why are we so concerned about like that? I don't like playing the injury game.
3:41Basically, you know that I don't like trying to guess one team versus another team who's going to stay 100 percent.
3:46So I'm just basing off what Nakua is going to get and going to reap the rewards in full PPR again.
3:52Yeah, this is a starting three wide receivers in this, you know, mock draft.
3:5612 teams, full PPR, no super flex. We're drafting 14 rounds.
3:59We're not going to do a kicker defense in this.
4:02So just to give everybody kind of the settings that we're working with here.
4:06Pretty standard first five picks off the board. Puka Nakua, Jameer Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, Jamar Chase and JSN leaving Christian McCaffrey to you, Nick, at pick six.
4:13Yeah, that was the guy I was hoping to fall to me here.
4:17I think especially in a league where it's three wide receivers and it's full PPR.
4:21Obviously, you know, he's a killer in PPR. And then he kind of goes towards a hero running back strategy where I
4:27don't necessarily need to force or think about running backs for a while after this and can kind of pepper the middle rounds with receivers and pass catchers.
4:34C-Mac's one of those dudes where, you know, I also I'm not typically like going to try to project an injury if
4:40the player is not injured going into the year.
4:43Ironically, obviously, I think he just like came down with something about five seconds ago, but it's believed not to be serious,
4:49as is everybody else in this time of the summer.
4:52Whatever. Let's pretend he's healthy and let's pretend we filmed this two hours ago.
4:55But C-Mac said, dude, like I think if you just take a step back and look at the situation objectively, he's just
5:01such a big part of their offense. I'm not really concerned with like, oh, his yards per carry number were, you know, kind of down last year.
5:09I don't think necessarily about those being sticky. Like if it's three point nine versus four point one or four point two,
5:15like no one's really going to care at the end of the day when he has 300 carries and more importantly, 115 targets when the year is over.
5:23And he is such a cemented part of that offense.
5:25He has the goal line role. They're so down in weapons right now that I imagine he's just going to continue to
5:31see five, six targets a game and be another force there.
5:34And yeah, of course, I'd like to have Gibbs or Bijon over him.
5:38But to me, he's the next best thing and a pretty clear pick there for me at the 106.
5:43Jake, while Erickson makes his pick here at 202, you took Justin Jefferson at the 109.
5:47Who are you looking to pair him with here with the 204?
5:51I am hopefully going to get the remaining running back.
5:53I'm hoping to be there at this point because I knew Erickson was going to take the other one.
5:59And of course, they both went and Chase Brown and Devon Achan.
6:02I did a little yes there because look, we got an auto pick and land when I was hoping that Jefferson would make it.
6:09But looking at an eyesight, I would have went similar to what we were just talking about there.
6:13I would have switched running back because now I'm probably going to lead into wide receiver, which I don't really love and just double down with Drake.
6:21It's been a really running back heavy end of the first round.
6:24Five of the six picks. Jake, you sound so disappointed making these picks.
6:28I am. Because I know the fallout if Tua and Penix are hurt.
6:31That's the problem. And that's a distinct possibility as of today.
6:34So Jake pairs Justin Jefferson with Drake London, two receivers.
6:37Erickson went running back, running back. I picking on the turn went running back, receiver.
6:41I sort of split the difference there. Erickson, James Cook is somebody that I saw you tweeting about earlier today.
6:47I kind of figured you were going to take him here with your pick late in the first.
6:51And then you pair him with Chase Brown. What went into going RB, RB to start your draft?
6:56I just like this roster start falling with a superhero RB build.
7:00The running backs have had a resurgence over the last couple seasons with these two eye safety looks.
7:05And we're seeing more of these running backs, not even as just bell cows, but working on three downs, scoring touchdowns.
7:10And when I look at James Cook and Chase Brown in a full PPR setting, James Cook has a really strong receiving
7:16season on his resume two years ago where he had 44 catches.
7:20He had over 400 receiving yards. And we know that coming out of Georgia, that's something that he was being touted as.
7:26Oh, the next best pass catching back, James Cook.
7:28And I know that hasn't really been what he's done the last couple seasons, but the last couple seasons, he's only checked
7:34off the boxes of 18 touchdowns, led the league in rushing yards last year.
7:38So I think that he's still running back. That's in his prime playing on a high power bills offense.
7:43I think that he's an easy end around one pick.
7:46And then Chase Brown, I just think that just disrespected again, another player that another high powered offense used in the passing
7:52game catches a lot of passes from Joe Burrow.
7:54And every time they talk about Chase Brown, whether it's Joe Burrow, Zach Taylor, they love this guy so much.
8:00And during a contract year, I think that they're going to run him to the ground.
8:04And I think he's going to see a boatload of volume.
8:07So now I don't have to look at running back anymore.
8:10And I just love the receivers. I'm hoping I'm going to love the receivers rounds three through five, where I don't like
8:16the running backs nearly as much or feel nearly as confident about them.
8:20Yeah, I feel like to me, there's like a top 11 that I really like.
8:24And those were the 11 that went off before my pick.
8:27I still really like Gentia, obviously believer in the talent.
8:30I love the Tyler Linderbaum upgrade and the interior of the offensive line, just the offensive line in general, I think will be better this year.
8:37Obviously the play calling upgrade in Vegas as well.
8:39So I'm buying in on a Gentie bounce back here in year two.
8:43And AJ Brown, like we've talked a lot, Erickson, about just like the talent, the fit with Drake May.
8:48Like I traded him to you in Dynasty in a league where I'm rebuilding.
8:52I don't mind doing that. But for 2026, I like Brown a lot.
8:56And I just liked him better than some of the running backs that were there at the turn.
9:00I felt like I had already gotten one. I did not want to go receiver receiver.
9:05I wanted to get at least one running back.
9:07But I'm kind of with you that I'm expecting to really like a lot of the receivers coming back in the next few rounds.
9:14Are you sure about that? Well, that's how I felt prior to.
9:17It's a great call by Jake. We have six straight receivers taken here at the end of round two going into the round three.
9:24Now seven. We have seven. George Pickens, Nico Collins, Rashid Rice, Chris Olave, Jalen Waddell, Emeka Ibuka, Devante Smith.
9:29By the way, in the middle of round two, we had Omerion Hampton, Kenneth Walker, Saquon Barkley, and Brock Bowers.
9:34So a run of no receivers. Eight in a row here.
9:37Malik Neighbors goes next. So the fact that this is full PPR and a three-receiver league is really hammering these receivers.
9:43Nick, you and Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley are very fun start.
9:46Oh, another. Zayf Lauer is here. Did you expect one of these receivers to be getting back to you?
9:52Of course. Yeah, I would have put significant money that I was getting my choice of like two or three of these guys.
9:58Now I have the greatest 2018 team ever assembled between Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley.
10:02I'm happy with the start. Would have loved another receiver because it is.
10:06I mean, it's I'm probably fine with. Oh, this is going to run out, huh?
10:10I'm sorry. Yeah, yeah. It's all good. I'm like Derek Henry falling to the middle of the third round feels a little insane, too, by the way.
10:17Yes, I totally agree. Correct. We got a flex here.
10:20Yes. OK. Yes, there is a flex by what?
10:22Sorry. I'll just do it. One quarterback, two running backs, three receivers, one flex, one tight end.
10:27No kicker defense. It's something like six bench spots.
10:29Nick, I'll hit you up. We can make a trade after the draft.
10:33All right. Yeah, let's go. Like again, just hammering the 2018 roster right now.
10:37I have the greatest running backs from the 2010s.
10:39Yeah, sometimes you got to pivot there and I would assume one of those nine wide receivers would have felt to me
10:45and would have been happy with literally any of those guys.
10:48That would have been cool to Garrett and set just like they're the offensive situation there kind of scares me.
10:54So I would have been fine with T Higgins as well, just as like a floor play just to grab some PPR points.
11:00I think Cincinnati's offense could be, you know, incredibly explosive this year.
11:03And T Higgins is such a such a large touchdown portion of the offense there.
11:07So it just went a weird way. And now I got three running backs.
11:11I agree with you just quickly, like Derek Henry in the middle of the third.
11:15I think that is an absolute seal. Like I'm really buying into the offense bouncing back and he was still like at
11:21his end of your numbers still looks good last year.
11:24Yeah, I think the offense is going to bounce back in a big way with Declan Doyle and healthy Lamar.
11:30And they still don't really have any other running backs there to compete with him for carries.
11:34Like I think Henry's going to be awesome this year.
11:37Mid third round, I think even with your other running backs already have, I think it's a bit of a no brainer here.
11:43I'm on the clock now while I'm thinking about this pick, Jake, you did go with Ted or Rob McMillan, your third receiver?
11:50Yeah, because he's my third receiver. Like I think he's fine as a number two, but I love him as my third.
11:56So like I said, we're going to be hitting up Nick.
11:59If you can send me his phone number, I'll give him a call after the draft is over.
12:04But it really came down to, I was looking at, I don't know if you saw me while you were talking to
12:10him and I kind of did a little count there and I was counting.
12:13There's certain players. I don't want to say what position, but it's probably obvious that I was trying to count to see
12:19how many would get back around to me if I went with Ted.
12:23I was thinking Ted or T Higgins, which Andrew went and this is why I wanted him to pick a different spot
12:29than 11 because I know we'll be on the same page as a lot of players and he never picks a different spot besides 11.
12:36But anyway, as a sidebar to that, I love having Ted in the volume here in a PPR and I think I'm going to, I know it now.
12:44I can see it. I'm going to get, I'll say it, one of the running backs back to me in the fourth
12:50round that I'm looking to have as my first.
12:52Uh, at the turn I went with Colson Loveland, just like, I think the third of this like clear top tier of tight ends.
12:59Thank you for doing that by the way, because I would have felt obligated to take them in the fourth round if he was there.
13:05That was the easier pick. Honestly, Terry McLaurin was a harder pick for me.
13:09Like I just wasn't in love with really any of the options on the board.
13:13So, um, I don't, I haven't really had any builds where I have them on my team and I like the player a lot.
13:20I am also expecting to bounce back for that offense.
13:23So, um, it just felt like the right pick, even if I wasn't kind of head over heels for it, no quarterbacks yet.
13:29Actually, Josh Allen just goes here now for his quarterback off the board at four Oh five.
13:34Um, I just really wanted to go into this, not taking an early quarterback.
13:38Cause I've done that a few times and it's just so deep and I already took the early tight end.
13:43So I didn't want to want to play that game, but you know, to get the guy who's been in the top
13:49two quarterback every year for like a half decade in the fourth round.
13:53Like, I don't hate that. Um, although DVR does pair him with Trey McBride.
13:56So he goes kind of luxury at both onesie positions.
13:59Um, so yeah, my start confused me for a second.
14:02I work with Derek van Ryper and he goes, wait a second.
14:05I was like, we can invite him to the show.
14:08No, no, not quite the same here. Um, so yeah, like I said, I go love when McLaurin here, Erickson, you're, you
14:14know, sort of at the turn here was T Higgins and Brees Hall.
14:17How are you feeling about your start? Not something I was going to go into this draft with the expectation.
14:23I was going to draft three runbacks in the first four rounds, but similar to what Berkelano was doing, talking about you,
14:29like these running backs are here and you just like them more than some of the receivers.
14:34Then I want to go best player available. And then if I got to make a trade after the draft, whatever, Reese
14:40Hall is still someone that very highly talented. I think if this Jets offense, it'll be better than most people are expecting
14:46to give an above average offensive line. And Brees Hall has a three down skill set.
14:50So although it is a full PPR, all my running backs that I've drafted, I see the paths where they are really involved in the passing game.
14:57So chasing that type of ceiling in this type of format.
15:00And again, we double check, triple check that there is a flex spot here.
15:04So I mean, I'm just, I'm going to, I'm going to get ready to know Dontavian Wicks as my wide receiver three.
15:10I'm already like preparing that mentally in my mind, but at least I'll get some points for my running backs.
15:16Can we, can we circle back here? Like Nick, are you really playing for 2018?
15:20Yeah. I'm just curious. At this point, that's all I could do.
15:23I thought Jeremiah Love was going to fall to me there.
15:26And I'm like, I have to take him. I don't, I don't have Mike Evans rank.
15:31Like I would prefer Javante Williams in a vacuum here.
15:33But I need to start hitting the wide receiver position.
15:36Unfortunately, in this draft board is kind of insane the way it played out between the second and third.
15:41And Evans to me feels like a pretty clear bet on being the alpha there in San Francisco with Ricky P out of the way.
15:48I just don't really see a world where he doesn't finish with a good season.
15:52You know, of course he could get hurt again.
15:55I'm not like overly interested in trying to figure out who's going to get hurt in the beginning parts of August.
16:00But another, you know, kind of basic strategy that I think would do wonders for a lot of people that are, you
16:06know, kind of new to fantasy football. But you notice the teams that I'm investing into more often than not, if you
16:12want to hit a tiebreaker here, just, just invest into teams that are probably going to be good teams and probably going
16:18to have a decent amount of scoring opportunities. So we'll hit San Fran, we'll hit Baltimore, we'll hit Philly.
16:24And on Sundays, you know, you probably won't have like the most miserable time when, when red zone is playing there and,
16:30and you don't have like Miami players and Cleveland players and those types of players.
16:34And you look back and like, why would I draft players on those teams?
16:38If he takes Tyreek and Hopkins, I'm out. Devontae Adams is staring right at him here.
16:42I know. I know. I might have to take him.
16:45He's not a bad pick here. Erickson, I want to go around the horn here.
16:49I think those first four picks are sort of like, you know, obviously that's the foundation.
16:53That's the core of your team. It can be your own team or it can be somebody else's.
16:58Who on the board has your favorite start in their first four picks so far?
17:02So I'm just pulling up the board now so I can get a good view on the top four picks here.
17:08Let's see. I mean, well, only one, two teams have gone three receivers to start.
17:12So trusted venom went three receivers. Jay works. Did three receivers as to getting neighbors as a wide receiver three.
17:18Jake did as well. Jake did too. Yeah. I like Jake's team.
17:21Jefferson, London, Tet as his wide receiver three. Drake may.
17:24I'm just going to say like, if you look at the top receivers available, I don't have a choice.
17:29I don't have a choice. Just put aside to the intro scene here.
17:32Devontae, DJ Moore. This is amazing. This is ridiculous.
17:35Steering to the skid here. And for the record, I prefer Cam Scadabo by a wide margin, but we're going to take Devontae.
17:41Yeah, you have to do it though. Yeah. I do.
17:44Yeah. Unfortunately, we don't have two flexes in this league.
17:47Just the ones. I needed it. Yeah. I mean, Patrick.
17:49Patrick Mahomes is staring you in the face for the complete that roster.
17:53Nick, now that you've made your pick, do you have a favorite start for any team so far?
17:58Um, how old were you in 2018 worm? Like 12 in 2018.
18:01I was, I turned 20, uh, 26 in 2018.
18:04I like Erickson start. Um, I really, I like those three running back.
18:07Let's bring this guy back. This guy should be on more episodes.
18:10I like, uh, Jay works is start as well.
18:13Chase Pickens neighbors is kind of sexy when you get neighbors at the three, like with all the reports right now.
18:19Um, ETN, I think has like a pretty sneaky, great spot there in new Orleans as well.
18:23I think their offensive line is going to be like severely, severely underrated.
18:27And just the number of plays that they're going to run in that offense is going to be super high volume.
18:33So I don't think he's like the most talented running back, but I think by the end of the year, he's just
18:39going to be in such a good spot that he's going to roll his way into, uh, a really productive fantasy season.
18:45So it's almost like going zero running back there with three really strong receivers up top.
18:49Yeah. Just chase at the fourth and especially in this scoring format, I think is awesome.
18:53Um, not that I have a problem with Gibbs and, you know, Bijan and Puka ahead of them, but just, it just
18:59feels like a really good spot to be. Um, Jake, I'll ask you too, who's your favorite kind of start of anybody so far?
19:06Uh, was going to be mine if I could get Scadaboo, but of course he went one pick before me.
19:12I don't know if that person is off auto now at this point, but I was kind of hoping that wouldn't happen.
19:18And, uh, like, honestly, I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't really love a lot mostly because it's just not my style.
19:24Like everybody who had a start that I initially liked, there's a lot of early quarterback and I don't like the early quarterback, especially full PPR.
19:31It's not that big of a difference, but I just don't love it as much.
19:35I don't mind how you just got Terry and Jamison as your two and your three to go with Gentian Brown, and
19:41then you'd have one of the best tight ends.
19:44So that is looking good. I know I like Andrew's team, of course, because we're on the same players.
19:49Um, I think it really going to come out down to like who the second running back here is.
19:54I'm going to put it on the board and let people know I'm taking another running back, hopefully here.
19:59So if another one is there, I'm going to default and say my team, cause I got DJ Moore as my wide
20:05receiver for, and Josh Jacobs is my RB one who just put up in a arguably his worst season in since he
20:11has been a rookie and he was still a top 10 running back in points per game.
20:16So as long as he's healthy, I know it's part of it's the off the field, which is abysmal if it's true,
20:22but like if it's not and he's playing, well, there you go.
20:25I get to pair Josh Jacobs. I'm going in the opposite direction.
20:29I'm going with major youth here. And for the upside of Tootin, which I am extremely happy about to pair those two together.
20:35So yeah, I really love my team now. I'll just put it out there.
20:39I was all set at the turn to go Carnell Tate and Jameson Williams.
20:43Erickson took one of those. So I had to pivot on the second and I was, I was looking, I was between.
20:49That's really why he picks 11. Cause he just wants to keep being annoying.
20:53It hurts. It hurt me. Yeah. Um, I, I was between Tootin and Bucky.
20:56I went with Bucky here. I could have easily gone Tootin.
20:59I don't feel strongly about it, honestly. Um, but yeah, I, uh, I, I really liked Tate there.
21:04Erickson with the five 11. Um, we say it every year of these rookie receivers.
21:08It's always the cheapest they're going to be in redraft leagues is in this first season when we haven't seen it yet.
21:14And I believe the talent, I believe in the talent of Cam Ward.
21:18Um, I'm really excited for Tate this year. Yeah.
21:20I don't think I can't remember the last time a top five drafted wide receiver went this late.
21:25I think it's like Corey Davis or, or, or, I mean, Garrett Wilson was a top 10 pick, not a top five
21:31pick, but Corey Davis scares me with him also being a Titan.
21:35I mean, the Titans that, I mean, I'm interested to see how many more Titans receivers Nick drafts because it's like, these
21:41are the world of better receivers go to die.
21:43It's like Deandre Hopkins was a Titan. Then he fell off the face of Randy Moss was a Titan.
21:48And Calvin really was a Titan. All these guys just go and their careers on the Tennessee Titans.
21:53So hopefully Cardinal take in start well on the Titans.
21:56The problem is, is that like a lot of the wide receivers in that range aren't contending for targets to this degree, right out of the gate.
22:03Like you brought over well, Wondell Robinson. So like if we were sat here at the end of the year and said
22:09Wondell out targeted Tate, but Tate outproduced him. I don't think anybody would be surprised by that.
22:14Probably not predicting it, but wouldn't be a surprise.
22:17And I think that's the biggest thing is like Tate's not going to a team where we're guaranteeing 130 Tyson's not going
22:23to a team where he's the one, at least as of day one, Kyle Lemon hasn't even been able to practice and he's sliding down my draft board.
22:30So I think that's the difference, Andrew, to just push back on that is that this isn't a normal year for these
22:36rookies that are being drafted that high. We're about halfway through round six here.
22:40I want to take a moment to tell everybody about Quince.

25:34All right. I really like to support it again.
25:36Just kind of being... He wasn't around in 2018.
25:39I'm disappointed in you. I know. I had to break the streak, unfortunately.
25:42There goes the success. You didn't want to go Kelsey or Kittle?
25:46We didn't say age. Dude, Zacherts is still out there, man.
25:49Someone's going to sign Zacherts. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know about this one.
25:52Jake, who are you eyeing with your next pick just a couple of spots away?
25:56So Nick took... Okay. Nick drafted. One of them was Price if he was still there.
26:01So there is two more running backs, or there are two more running backs that I'm looking at.
26:06One is the split... They're both in split backfields, Stevenson or the upside of Harvey.
26:10I think Harvey's getting too much hate. I understand that J.K.
26:13Dobbins is the better running back. We know that.
26:15But R.J. Harvey, for what he did as a rookie, wasn't inspiring.
26:19But it was still enough that we've played this game before with other rookie running backs that got too much helium coming
26:25out of college for the team that they ended up on and then show up better in years two and three.
26:30I understand all the talk about Coleman, maybe just coming from me.
26:34I'm just not the biggest Coleman guy. And I don't think Harvey's ever going to be in a world where he's 65% of the touches.
26:41But Harvey of the three kind of fits that backfield.
26:43And I don't even have to take him because Stevenson's still there.
26:47But anyway, point being, I think now Harvey's getting so much hate to take him in the seventh, eighth round where he's going.
26:53You're just all upside at that point, especially when Dobbins gets hurt, not if, when.
26:57Well, and I think somebody like Ramondre being there, or R.J.
27:00Harvey, if you think he's going too low, part of that is I do feel like the receivers have gone very rapidly in this throughout this whole draft.
27:08It feels very light looking at the available receivers here for the seventh round compared to the running backs, at least in my opinion.
27:14So that might be playing into that as well.
27:17I like Ramondre, you know, getting him at 709.
27:19I think that's pretty good drafting. Yeah, this is a.
27:22We already have 40 wide receivers off the board.
27:24Yeah, it's a disaster rollout for those of us who started with three running backs.
27:28Three running backs. Yeah, yeah. We have Erickson's on the clock here.
27:32He goes, Fanon getting one of the last of these sort of high-level tight ends there.
27:36Feels like pretty good value. There's still a lot more.
27:39There is one more, a fantasy favorite. I will take the quarterback.
27:42I'll pair Caleb with Colson Lovett. Herbert is the guy that I was hoping might get back to me, but I'm totally comfortable taking Caleb instead.
27:49I know Erickson's probably happy that I didn't take Trevor Lawrence because that's his guy.
27:53And I'll think through the next pick here. Erickson, while I'm thinking about.
27:57Do it just to mess with him. Yeah, go back to back.
28:00Erickson, while I'm making this pick, what's your strategy at tight end generally?
28:04Obviously, you just take Fanon here. Do you like trying to get, you know, that sixth or seventh tight end off the board?
28:10What are you typically aiming for? Typically, I don't like taking tight ends in this middle range because a lot of times
28:16they finish closer to the tight ends that go after them.
28:19But to me, Fanon kind of profiles more as a player that we could be drafting even higher next year.
28:25Again, I know he's on the Browns and that's horrible.
28:27But in terms of like target volume, like he was good last year with bad quarterback play and he led the team in reception.
28:34I mean, as a rookie, like he was really productive.
28:37So he could continue to take steps forward. So I like him a decent chunk here as a tight end that could take a step forward.
28:44I also will say just on the Browns of it all, I know the quarterback situation is still rough, but I keep
28:50like Todd Munkin is a good play caller. He used tight ends in Baltimore.
28:54Like I think the Browns offensive environment is not going to be amazing, but I do think it'll be better than last
29:00year and he was great last year. Like I'm not that worried about it unless the quarterback position really is like off
29:06a cliff, like horrific, which is possible. It is the Browns.
29:09But like, I think Munkin will raise the floor of what the offensive environment is for him.
29:13Hopefully. Hopefully. Yeah. You're knocking on wood here. Great insight there.
29:16Jake. Jake, you're on the clock here. I don't know whether to dip into tight end or something.
29:21You've got four receivers, three running backs, no QB or tight ends.
29:25I'm going to, I'll take RJ Hart with you.
29:27I'm just going to lean into it. Okay. Screw the quarterbacks and tight ends.
29:31Trey Tucker. Yeah. DVR not Derek Van Ryper. You scared me for a second, Nick.
29:35I'm like, wait, I didn't click on Trey Tucker.
29:37JK Dobbins goes next. Obviously his own injury stuff here.
29:40Yeah. Already banged up as of yesterday. So there you go.
29:43Unsurprisingly, unfortunately. Lawrence does go here to Nick. I like that pick in the, in the middle of the eighth.
29:49And it's like I said, it's something Eric's talked about a lot.
29:52And I'm guessing by the fact that you took them, that you are somewhat a believer in, it was a legitimate step
29:58forward in the second half of last year and not just a flash in the pan.
30:02Yeah. I think everything about that offensive structure, the environment feels really sticky year to year.
30:07I think Trevor Lawrence, like really kind of busting out of his shell and running a lot more also feels very sticky.
30:13Like won't have the nine rushing touchdowns, but I'd be really surprised if he doesn't finish between like four and six and
30:19do that, you know, year in and year out.
30:21Now the Liam Cohen scheme is obviously like very, very high power and only going to get better in year two.
30:27The receiver room is as deep as any in the NFL and probably the deepest when you got a dude like Travis
30:33Hunter as your, you know, your, your fourth receiver.
30:35Brenton Strange is like a very, very underrated pass catching tight end there.
30:39So I don't really see a world in which like, even if Trevor Lawrence is not as good as the top tier
30:45quarterbacks, like he's going to be great for fantasy again.
30:48Yeah. I think that's a great pick. Um, Eric said, I know he has been, like I said, a target of yours for the upside as well.
30:55Yeah. I really messed up drafting Rashad white. I thought you were going to take Trevor.
31:00I was really surprised you didn't. So did I, but then I was like, Oh my God, five seconds left on the clock.
31:06And then I made the wrong pick. So that's going to hurt me in the, uh, the draft rank.
31:11I guarantee the pick insights going to be like, well, if you had drafted Trevor Lawrence, like you should have, you would have scored 50 more points.
31:18So yeah, you live and you learn. I just hope you end up hating your own draft.
31:23That'd be amazing. I don't, I mean, I've had drafts where I've given myself like an A minus where it's like, Hmm.
31:29Was I really drafting in my mind? Where they try to be different.
31:33And I don't think I've ever given myself like a B.
31:36So that would be very telling if the Andrew Erickson bot gives my draft a B plus.
31:40I was hoping maybe that Brooks might fall back to me here at the end of round nine.
31:45He goes here with the nine Oh three. One of the interesting players to discuss this summer and a guy that has
31:51seen his ADP sort of steadily rise throughout the summer.
31:54Um, Nick, you are on the clock after you make your pick.
31:57I want to hear what you think about Brooks.
32:00Cause I've heard it from these other guys before.
32:02Taking Reed over, over golden. And I like him better, but I have a weird feeling that Matthew golden is somehow going
32:08to outproduce him playing way more than Jaden Reed this year.
32:11Um, but Jonathan Brooks. Yeah. I, I huge fan of Jonathan Brooks.
32:15I, I think really when it comes down to whether or not you like Jonathan Brooks is like what your take on him coming out of Texas was.
32:22Uh, and I was such a big fan of him.
32:25He was, you know, the top running back in that class.
32:28I thought he was, I thought he had a lot of Aaron Jones who's game just like such a smooth glider.
32:34Um, and I do, I'm definitely in the camp that he takes over that backfield by some portion of the year.
32:39I think without a doubt, they'll go into the year as a one, a one B.
32:44Um, and I think ideally they probably want to use both of them.
32:47But if, if, if huge, if obviously if Brooks can get back to the explosiveness of pre ACL, I don't think it's
32:53really a competition between him and Chuba in terms of talent level.
32:57Chuba has been like, uh, very underwhelming in any metric that you want to look at elusiveness breakout, um, a breakaway rating,
33:03like all that kind of stuff just tells you.
33:05Chuba is a very, very, uh, mid level running back.
33:08That'll get you, you know, a decent amount of fantasy points, I think for like the first month or two of the
33:14season, but eventually something's going to have to give here.
33:17And I also don't project Carolina be very good.
33:19And I'd imagine they're going to try to look to the future a bit because Chuba's hover, uh, Chuba's contract is pretty big.
33:25And I'm sure they're going to try to get off the books after this year, if not, uh, shortly after.
33:31Jake, you take your first non running back receiver with Dak Prescott as late round quarterback been your approach in drafts this year.
33:37Mostly because unless the Allen Lamar may kind of make it to the late fourth, which they all went in the late fourth, but I was early fourth.
33:45I'm kind of not, not taking in that range.
33:47And then like the burrow Daniels hurts would be my next group, but they would have to be more like right around the sixth range.
33:54So it just came to how it fell. It's just really how it was.
33:58And then I was thinking of not taking Dak, but looking at the quarterbacks, I'm like, you know what?
34:03Instead of waiting until the end game, I feel like Dak shouldn't still be there.
34:07And neither. I don't feel as shit as tight end, even if he misses the first two weeks to not being a
34:13hundred percent, but I'll take the Dak, George Kittle and both easily be in top 10.
34:18And if healthy, which is, that's a big question mark between the two of them.
34:22Erickson, you also took your quarterback here with Jackson Dart.
34:25Is this somebody that if you're taking Dart, you're obviously betting on upside.
34:28Do you want to make sure you're getting a backup?
34:31If this was a real draft we're playing out, just given the concussion history and the way he plays, are you confident with him being your only quarterback?
34:39What's your mindset with Jackson Dart on your roster?
34:41I think with Dart, I probably feel more comfortable with another quarterback.
34:44It is a whole different offense, too, that they're running and installing in New York with Matt Nagy.
34:49And that's kind of like one of the reasons it doesn't fire this year is because Matt Nagy is the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants.
34:57So that's not something I'm bullish on, but bullish on Jackson Dart, the player, what he did with his legs.
35:02And they've kind of circled the drain with the conversation about darts.
35:05Are you going to run? Is he not going to run?
35:08Are they going to try to protect himself? And it just seems like Dart's just going to run.
35:13He's going to run. It's just part of his game, man.
35:16Like you can't take it out of him. And if he gets hurt, so be it.
35:21I'll pick someone else up off the waiver wire to be my quarterback.
35:24And maybe I'll draft one with my 14th pick here.
35:27Someone that has a little bit more stability, but also two gives me an out.
35:31If I watch week one, this New York Giants offense, and it's a mess.
35:35Okay. Then I need to see more for then.
35:37I don't have to trot him out in week two.
35:40So I think with Dart specifically, it probably makes sense.
35:43Probably still be fine. He was not like he was like lighting up the passing mark last year.
35:48And it's just a rushing upside. He's QB five in fantasy points per game.
35:52And it starts. Don't count the first two games.
35:54Those don't count. I like it. No, seriously. It was like a handful of snaps and every single site accounts for it for some reason.
36:01Yeah. I like a few of the picks in this round 10 range.
36:05I like Isaiah Likely. You know, Nick talked about Matthew Gold and Brock Purdy, although as a second QB, maybe not necessary, but I like the value there.
36:12I will say for your picnic, I knew that I wanted on the turn once Brooks was gone.
36:17I wanted Manungai and Coram. If one of them had gone, I was going to take Ja'Cory Kraski Merritt to pair with the other one.
36:24So I'm happy with the guys I got. I don't regret it, but I was eyeing Bill as well.
36:29Is he a player that you've been targeting at this point in drafts?
36:33He is. Yeah. I don't know if I'm in like the minority here, but I prefer him to Rashad White.
36:38I think he's actually quite a good runner on the ground.
36:41I think he adds a little bit of a level of explosiveness to that backfield.
36:45And this was a team, you know, a year removed for being a top five scoring offense.
36:50And at the end of the day, like when you're an average running back, which most of these guys in this round
36:56are, your touchdown upside is pretty much tied to how often your team is going to be within the 10 or five yard line.
37:03Like most of these guys are not scoring 30 yard touchdowns.
37:06So they can get back to form. I don't know who's going to be on the goal line, but I think it profiles more towards JCM.
37:13And I also think like we know what Rashad White is as a runner.
37:17Like he's not a very good runner. So I think there'll be a role.
37:20I think they're a good yin yang. Like I do think JCM is a better early down guy.
37:25I think Rashad White's a great athlete and a very good pass catcher.
37:29But I think it's easier for an early down guy to catch 30 or 40 passes than a guy who's playing a
37:35pass catching role, having a significant rushing workload. So I'd almost work backwards.
37:38And again, it's more of like a subjective talent thing that I think JCM is actually quite a good running back or, you know, at least not terrible.
37:46Nick, do you think the does the Tunsil injury?
37:49Like impact JCM more in your opinion or White in your opinion?
37:52Because I think it's a massive loss for this offensive line, which I thought was like average at best.
37:57And then they lose their best offensive tackle torn triceps.
38:00So I was interested in your take on losing such a piece to that O-line with this backfield.
38:05For sure. It's yeah, like devastating loss for them.
38:07He was, you know, a top two, I believe, graded tackle last year in pass blocking.
38:12He's a little bit pulled down in the run blocking category.
38:15I do think that typically with run blocking success, a lot of it is like pass blocking.
38:19I think is you're kind of on an island as a blocker.
38:22And it's about how how athletic you are. I think a lot of run blocking offensive line success is revolving around scheme,
38:29where I think it is a lot of creativity paired to the offensive coordinator, where they're able to kind of mask it a little bit.
38:35And I'm really excited for David Blau. So, yeah, I think Tunsil obviously hurts everybody.
38:39Like losing an all pro player like that is going to downgrade everybody.
38:43But I am confident in like what I'm hearing out of Washington's camp in terms of how that scheme is looking.
38:49And I really like Jane Daniels being under center more and being able to disguise a little bit of what they're doing based on how they're doing things.
38:56So, yeah, I mean, obviously, I'm not I'm not excited for JCM that Laramie Tunsil got hurt.
39:01But I do think it's like probably more of a hit to Jane Daniels in the passing game than it is the ground game for me.
39:08Yeah, no, I think, too, I think it gives a boost to both the running backs as receivers out of the backfield.
39:14If you can't hold on the ball too long.
39:17Erickson, you do have 10 seconds on the clock just so we don't have another Rashad White, Trevor Lawrence situation.
39:22I mean, I got my guy locked and loaded.
39:25Trey Harris, baby. Let's go. I knew you would have.
39:27I was going to take him on this turn because I knew he like you were going to take him right away.
39:33I mean, the take that I'm workshopping with him is that he's actually the next X wide receiver Kyle Shanahan offense guy.
39:39And that when Mike McDaniel was talking about comparing Julio Jones to Quentin Johnson, he just was talking about the wrong receiver
39:45on his team because Quentin Johnson does not look like Julio Jones whatsoever.
39:49And when it just comes to like who's an X receiver, like who looks like an X, whether it's sacrificial or Julio
39:55Jones X, just like coming out of the box X.
39:58It is Trey Harris more than anyone else on that offense.
40:01I listened to that episode where you and Debra were going back and forth on your on your takes for those things.
40:07And I personally thought you had won the episode that that take alone, though, might is what probably pulled you back down
40:13to to the tire of the loss. This is also and we talked about the slot, Erickson, just a offense we want
40:19to invest in and take shots at as much as we possibly can in general, even if we are not 100 percent
40:25sure what the target breakdown is going to look like.
40:28All right. Getting back to the draft here. A lot of running backs going in this round.
40:32One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight of the 11 picks so far this round have been some of these later round running backs.
40:39I went with two at the turn, Chris Rodriguez and Jonah Coleman, a couple of guys who I think there could be
40:45worlds where there's more opportunity in their backfields throughout the course of the season.
40:49Kamara, Brian Robinson, Tank Bigsby, Isaiah Pacheco, Ray Davis, Woody Marks, Tajay Spears, Kamani Vidal, all also going in this round.
40:55Now James Conner here as well. So very running back heavy at this point.
40:59Nick, you did not take a running back. You took Stribbling here, you know, leaning into the injury uncertainty in this receiver room.
41:05He's obviously had his own, you know, stuff getting nicked up, but they spent real draft capital on him and there's target opportunity here behind Mike Evans.
41:12Yeah. I mean, at this point in the draft, I'm really I got to take shots on these young receivers and hope
41:18some of them get some severe opportunity because running back to this point are going to do nothing for my team.
41:24I have quarterbacks, tight ends. And when I look around the other receivers here, it's Juwan Jennings, Jerry Judy.
41:29And while they would fit the chemistry of the makeup of the team that I have right now in terms of their
41:35their age, you know, we've got to mix it up with the youth here and hope that Stribbling can kind of come on strong here.
41:42And, you know, he's he's almost it feels like a handcuff for Mike Evans.
41:46It's not why I drafted him, but I do feel like there's so little in terms of depth in the receiver position
41:52in San Francisco that you would see a huge uptick in playing time and targets and all and everything going on there.
41:58So it's an offense that you want to attach yourself to, you know, they're gonna have a very high touchdown rate, you
42:04know, they're gonna move the ball very succinctly with Kyle Shanahan calling plays.
42:08So, Jake, you took two running backs of the last two picks, Tyler Algier, and then the man replacing him in Atlanta, Brian Robinson.
42:14You have not taken a receiver since you got your fourth back in round five.
42:18Was that sort of your intention here after you started off so receiver heavy?
42:22I mean, I can't only start four of them at best and really trying to lean into making up for the rest of the upside on the bench.
42:30I mean, I'm going to take probably another one, if not two here at the end game.
42:34But the difference between like the Michael Wilsons and Trey Tuckers and Godwins and all those of the world versus what my team need was.
42:41And then we already talked about Dak Prescott and George Kittle at this point.
42:45That really just came down to shooting for upside, like trying to take multiple shots at basically a zero RB ish approach.
42:51It's really here are because I think Jacobs is in that realm.
42:54But there are two wide receivers that I really like.
42:57And again, I'm shooting only for upside at this point.
43:00One of them is your boy who finally is getting moved around and started to sound like he might get treated as
43:06the number two for the Ravens for what we've been asking for since like the last two years for Rashad Bateman.
43:12Again, could flame out, could be a collection of parts that ends up being nothing.
43:16But neither of the rookies seem like they're doing much to this point.
43:19And if we're going to get Bateman moved around the line with Zay Flowers is also dinged up right now.
43:25As you know, it sounds like he should be fine, but just the opportunity in this offense under Doyle that we're going
43:31to see a little bit of a different style for Lamar Jackson.
43:34And he could be his number two. I like the upside play on Bateman.
43:38I wasn't really targeting him, but I think that's that's a good call late in the draft.
43:43Give it like I still think he's a talented guy.
43:45He just hasn't been used the way we want to see him used.
43:49And, you know, like like to your point with Zay getting a little banged up.
43:53I think there could be an opportunity there. Jacoby Lane, though, has been like the star of camp.
43:58So, yeah, you know, wondering what that will go through a whole zero preseason games that we've played so far.
44:03And then we actually look, you always want to bank on a fifth year breakout wide receiver.
44:08I'm just saying that right now. That's that's what you want to do.
44:12What's funny, too, on Lane, I've talked about this in other shows, like as a Ravens fan, I wasn't a fan of the pick when they made it.
44:19But like you these reporters who are pretty like dialed back, usually they're not like very hyperbolic are talking about him like every single day.
44:26He's making the best play camp. Everybody looks great versus air.
44:29Somebody struggles. My point is that the like Jeff Zreebeck, I feel like is usually pretty measured in his.
44:34I know he's over at the athletic. Yeah, exactly.
44:37Over here. I think he's the Ravens best reporter.
44:39But like you see guys like that. Jameson Henley's been doing this for a long time.
44:44I'm I'm not saying go draft Jacoby Lane. He did get drafted here one spot after Bateman.
44:48But the talk just comes down to like usually if we sit.
44:52Look, look, this is the profile we knew about him is that he struggles with coverage.
44:56He hasn't played versus coverage yet. If you actually we watch him in preseason, that starts to look like something he's breaking through on already.
45:03Then absolutely move him up. This is why I'm going with the upside of also Zachariah Branch with the second pick is because he's getting some talk.
45:10And again, it's preseason. They haven't played anybody yet.
45:13But similar to Xavier Worthy type mold as a wide open number two spot just there for the taking with the Falcons.
45:19Granted, their wide receivers are kind of and or not the wide receivers.
45:22The quarterbacks are kind of and I don't really love going Drake London and Zachariah Branch.
45:27But for my last pick, I'll take a flyer on the upside there.
45:30Erickson, your last two picks, Dalton Kincaid and Kyler Murray.
45:33Willis goes one spot later. I want to hear about both your picks.
45:36But like for the quarterback specifically, were you debating between Willis and Kyler, both kind of similar upside guys?
45:42Or was it Kyler the easy call for you?
45:44I would like it on the record that I tried to draft Kincaid with like one second left and I missed it.
45:50And it took Raylon Allen instead. So that shouldn't be on his team.
45:54It should be on mine. Well, the reason I drafted Kincaid is because Nick Ercolano pointed out how great and how efficient Dalton Kincaid was last year.
46:01Basically like number one in every per route per target efficiency mark.
46:04And I talked about it on the must have by round Kincaid.
46:08I think it was like my 10th round pick.
46:10So getting him here in round what round 13.
46:13Just a bet on the talent of the player.
46:15And maybe if he plays a little bit more this season and he's not playing with a harshly torn PCL injury.
46:21I know that we're all trying to figure out is DJ Moore going to be a real number one wide receiver this year?
46:27Well, maybe it's going back to Kincaid. But if he plays more than 50% of the snaps and if not, okay, well,
46:33at least he's going to be efficient. So I like doubling up a tight end and then Murray versus Willis.
46:39I think maybe it was a good question for him to ask.
46:42I think maybe actually in hindsight, I maybe would have wanted to go with Willis instead.
46:46I guess for me with Murray's, I just kind of intrigued about like what this Vikings offense could look like with with Kyler Murray.
46:53And if he is, you know, trying to get back to being a fantasy producer, see how he fits in the system.
46:59He has better weapons, of course. So betting on that type of upside versus Willis is just like the pure bet on rushing.
47:05I think Kyler has a chance to be a piece of my offense that or my fantasy team that I could be
47:11starting every single week just based on the support system if it really works out.
47:15And then if it's a disaster and, you know, they go to McCarthy or whatever happens, I can just I can just cut Kyler Murray from my team.
47:23We're going to take a few minutes to look at the results here in the draft analyzer.
47:28But first, if you want a chance to win a Colston Loveland signed Bears jersey, this is your shot.
47:33Maybe I'll try to win it. I know I can't, but I did draft him on my team.
47:38So clearly I like him. All you have to do is subscribe to the Fantasy Pros YouTube channel right now.
47:43Drop a comment below on any of our videos.
47:46That is it. We will be announcing a winner right here on the channel.

47:56Let's see. Projected standings here in the analyzer. Jake fourth.
47:58Myself sixth. Nick tenth. And we don't have to say where Erickson ended up.
48:02That missed Trevor Lawrence pick coming back to fight him.
48:05It didn't do me any good, so don't worry about it.
48:08Dash Riot finishes highest here in the projected standings.
48:10I did like a few of his picks when he was there.
48:14One of the cool things when you're using the draft analyzer for anybody who hasn't used it before is you can see
48:20which experts specifically liked your draft and which didn't.
48:22And our very own Pat Fitzmorris liked my draft the second most of anybody.
48:26And I love hearing that when Fitz likes my draft.
48:29I know I've done a pretty good job on that one.
48:32You can also check out the steals and reaches.
48:34Not seeing any steals on my team. Maybe some value picks.
48:37Yeah, Caleb Williams listed as a value pick for me.
48:40Maybe some slight reaches. Quentin Johnston listed there. You always kind of got to reach a little when you're picking on the end, too.
48:46And then Erickson referenced earlier the pick analysis where it'll kind of show you how you would have ranked higher specifically.
48:52For example, it says for me, if I had taken Chris Godwin where I took Caleb Williams and then where I took
48:58Malik Washington later, I went with Matthew Stafford. I would have been 26 points higher, which would have had me looks like
49:04something in the range of fourth, maybe a little bit ahead of Jake, I think, if I'm doing that math correctly.
49:10So that's kind of how that looks. By the way, Dash Riot, I mentioned finished first.
49:14There's B. John Robinson, Nico Collins, Devante Smith, Lamar Jackson, Roma Dunes, A.
49:18Travion Henderson, D.K. Metcalf, Chris Godwin, Jonathan Brooks, Isaiah Likely.
49:21That's just through round 10. I really like that team.
49:23I agree with that being ranked pretty highly there.
49:26Erickson, what are you seeing on your analysis? Not a lot of positivity here.
49:30Yeah, but do you see who liked your team the most?
49:33Yes, I did. 93 out of 100. I like my team the most.
49:36But shout out to Welsh. Shout out to Welsh and Seth.
49:39They both gave me acceptable B-minuses. 81, 82 across the board.
49:42So FP, BP, fam. I just got to say, Erickson, if your top five thumbs up include a multiple B-minuses, that's pretty rough.
49:49You shouldn't be seeing B-minuses on your expert opinions.
49:51It's because at the core of my team is a relatively weak three starting wide receivers.
49:55It's hard. Yeah, that's going to, that's going to, because I came in 10th with my wide receiver ranking, but I'm top two in running back.
50:03I'm winning at the flex. Get Brees Hall on the flex.
50:06They're right up there with the three running backs start in the first four rounds.
50:10But when you betting on rookie receivers. So this is a boom or bust team where if Tate and Tyson live up
50:16to being top 10 picks, this team could. They could easily run the table.
50:20But if they are slow out of the gates, then I'm totally screwed.
50:23Nick drafted for 2018. He drafted for 2028. That's fine.
50:26Well, Nick, it's funny. I'm looking at your expert opinions here.
50:29And a certain person on this show has gave you an F and did not like your team whatsoever.
50:34You, Erickson. Oh, no. It would have probably been like a C if I got Kincaid, though.
50:39That was the big issue here. Not even like a D or D minus.
50:43Straight out F. No, it would have jumped up major.
50:45Yeah, we not not a lot of love from the thumbs down crew there.
50:49I could have pivoted from Derrick Henry to Trey McBride, which I don't know.
50:53They did have Judkins over Sam Laporta, which is, again, would have been perfectly fine with that.
50:58Just the way the draft went, like I kind of got pinched into a spot where I was, you know, making kind
51:04of uncomfortable picks because I went so running back heavy while everyone else started going wide receiver heavy.
51:09So it was at a point in the middle of the rounds where I was like, oh, I didn't go in with a strategy.
51:15That ended up backfiring a little bit where I don't necessarily want to take a guy like Amon Ra over C-Mac.
51:21Looking back, though, having Amon Ra as my one there and then being able to grab my RB1 in the second round
51:27would have made the team look a lot better from top down and not having to force things when I got to the middle rounds.
51:34Yeah, I'm looking here, Jake, your experts. Derek Brown is not on the show, but Debro does not like your draft at all.
51:40That makes me feel better. Tom Strachan, who Erickson just finished doing a stream with, a best ball stream, likes your team quite a bit.
51:47So does my cohort, Brandon Funston, once again. Brandon seems to like, I think Brandon's using my rankings or something because he
51:53seems to like a lot of my drafts when I do these mods.
51:56Although I think the Fancy Now Plus guys need to get on the same page.
52:01Josh Kimmel loves it and Sean Evans hates it.
52:03So they figure out what's going on over there.
52:05I know we talk about the summary a lot.
52:08I don't actually agree with the swap out. A lot of times I do and I'm like, you know what?
52:13I kind of like that in hindsight. But they said instead of taking what I did at the tight end situation is
52:19swap the other way around and taking Shakir instead of Kittle.
52:22And I'm just not in on Shakir this year.
52:25It comes down to a strategy. I just don't want guys that wears the path to be in the top 25.
52:31And your answer is there isn't one because we already seen Shakir as the number one and he's not equipped to be a number one.
52:38So wide receivers like that, like if you could say, hey, he's cool in my flexor during the bye week, I'm just not drafting you.
52:44And that really comes down to just that's my personal style is that I'm shooting for the upside.
52:49I want somebody that I can put in my lineup and not play this game of trying to chase my tail every single week.
52:56So I wouldn't have taken Shakir. I actually like how this team turned out a lot more than Nick did with his.
53:02Like backing into this heavy wide receiver start that I wasn't expecting to do, being able to still get Dak and Kittle.
53:08And I know I'll probably have to pick up a tight end to start the season.
53:12But even so, Tets, my three, DJ Moores and the flex with Stevenson or Harvey.
53:16And then I have Algier and Brian Robinson for backups.
53:19I have the upside of the wide receivers we talked about.
53:22And to be able to get I would like Scattable a little bit better, actually a decent chunk better than Tootin as my two.
53:29But I still like the upside there to have Josh Jacobs as my one-two when I can go Jefferson, London, McMillan.
53:34And then, like I said, Moore to start. Like that's just – I mean I honestly like to be like, oh, look at me.
53:41I would take that as somebody else had this.
53:43I'd be like that is a really enviable wide receiver position to be in.
53:47Yeah. I really liked – we mentioned Dash Riot had sort of the highest finish in the standings.
53:52I like Jay Work's team a lot. We mentioned him early on.
53:56But just to recap it, Jamar Chase, George Piggins, Neighbors in the round three.
53:59That's healthy. Travis A. Chen, Joe Burrow, Quinshon Junkins, Jadarian Price in the seventh.
54:03Pitts in the eighth is the last of those sort of tight ends.
54:07You know, takes a shot on Matthew Golden. I really like his first nine or ten picks there.
54:12So that three-four spot, at least based on this draft, feels like a sweet spot for me that I kind of wish
54:18I was picking in as opposed to on the end.
54:20Erickson, any other teams stand out to you now that we see the whole thing?
54:25So I threw in my – who the Andrew Erickson bot would rank highest.
54:28And Bova Knight is the one that it likes the most.
54:31And when I just look at the team, I really like the build where you're getting Christian Watson as a wide receiver three.
54:38You're getting elite tight end, elite quarterback upside with Tyler Warren and Justin Herbert, both guys who I think I like a lot.
54:44I like Herbert a lot. And then the thing that I did wrong or just looking at from a production standpoint, Wanda
54:50Robinson, Michael Pittman Jr., just – those guys could just be PPR machines.
54:54And the fact that he's getting them or this draft for got them rounds eight and nine, that type of production, I
55:00wish I'd looked at some of those receivers more to potentially front load any type of, okay, rookies starting out between Cardinal Tate and Jordan Tyson.
55:07Because I got to start those guys week one.
55:09And if they're not delivering, we know that rookies tend to deliver in the second half of season versus the first half.
55:15Well, that's putting me behind the eight ball. And if I drafted someone like Wandale or Michael Pittman, who I think no
55:21one would be surprised if like week one, oh yeah, Michael Pittman, eight catches, ten targets.
55:26Wanda Robinson, eight catches, ten targets. That wouldn't really be shocking.
55:29And there's a lot of value with those players because you can draft them on the bench in some of these full PPR formats.
55:35So just looking – I really admire what that drafter did.
55:38I just like some of their late-round picks as well.
55:41I think it's a good shout. I haven't – I didn't include them earlier because I haven't been a big Rasheed Rice guy in general this year.
55:48But A, that could be wrong. And B, besides that, I really like his picks in almost every other round.
55:54I like Tyler Warren a lot. I love Justin Herbert.
55:57Like you said, he's that elite quarterback swing. Ibuka in the third, I like quite a bit.
56:01Gibbs, obviously, one of the best players. So like there's a lot to like here as well.
56:06Jake, any kind of final wrap-up thoughts, a takeaway, whether it's another team you liked or anything you kind of felt you learned from the experience?
56:13No, I think that unfortunately for everybody out there that will be drafting around the spot that Nick is.
56:18The draft comes to you, unfortunately, in the middle and there's only so much you can do.
56:23I think the biggest takeaway from this was kind of where the other three of us were sitting.
56:28And when you see things go this way, like I said, I didn't love leaning into wide receiver, but how the draft was falling.
56:34And not forced me, but made the advantage there.
56:37And then it played out to that end is that we were able to lean into that a little bit more.
56:43Nick had the draft come to him, and that's what happens with the 5-6-7 pick, unfortunately.
56:47But I think that like that's the bigger thing is like if you're on one of the ends and you have these
56:53kind of decisions, I think the biggest mistake everybody tries to make is coming out with, oh, I'm going to be good at every single position.
57:00No, you're not. Like you can't have that advantage.
57:03You can only be top three or four and probably three positions if you play it really well, and I think that's
57:09what we see across all our teams. Like to go back to it, Nick is arguably the best team at running back,
57:15but he has to sacrifice that elsewhere. So same for me at the wide receiver.
57:19You just brought it up with Dash Wright and the other team that had neighbors.
57:23That's where their strengths lie. So that's really what it is.
57:26Stick to your strengths. Don't sacrifice them by if you go early wide receiver.
57:30I got Chase and then wait, so your second wide receiver is, you know, Lad McConkie, which isn't bad, but you threw out that Chase advantage.
57:37I really did kind of do the what you said not to do in terms of sort of middling it and try to be good everywhere.
57:44Not only a purpose. You just sort of fell into it.
57:47Well, I was going to just look at my position ranks on the projected standings.
57:51Overall, sixth. Starter, seventh. Bench, fifth. Quarterback, seventh. Running back, sixth.
57:54Wide receiver, seventh. It's like outside of Loveland being a top three tight end, I'm just kind of like I'm not bad anywhere, but I'm not great anywhere.
58:02Either. Yeah, because you took Jenty, but then you waited and now your number two is Irving, my non guy, Corum.
58:07You know, you did take AJ Brown, but then you ended up with Jamison.
58:11So it's not, again, the real, the big thing for you is that you also went tight end early.
58:16So that's going to kind of cause you to have that unbalance.
58:20Definitely. Nick, same question. Sort of any kind of final takeaways, whether it's a team you liked, a team you didn't like,
58:26although we don't need to be mean here. Anything else you felt like you learned from this draft?
58:31I would do exactly what I did all over again.
58:33I might go older this time. Try to build the best 2015 team that I could find.
58:38No, the more and more I'm finding, I do really like settling in at the edges of the drafts.
58:43I think obviously getting a stalwart at the beginning of the draft and then the turn there at the two, three is also really enticing.
58:50Like, even if some of the running backs had fallen there, you know, sometimes you're able to pair like a Nico with
58:56a Martin Hampton or a Buka and Kenneth Walker.
58:59And those are two like upper level players that you get on top of your, your number one stud.
59:04But I also think at the back of the turn there too, you get your choice of those guys where again, you
59:10kind of get stuck in the middle. It's, you probably have to go into it with maybe a little bit more strategy
59:16of where you want to go and just really being maybe more conscious of the starting lineup here.
59:21I will say I like you probably said it very early on in my mind.
59:25Most of the leagues I play in are two flexes.
59:28So I was like, oh, I could stack up running backs and it won't be an issue.
59:32After I took Henry, it was like, if I take another running back, I can't actually play him in my lineup.
59:38So I had to start drafting that way. So I'm just kind of a, you know, a moron there.
59:43So don't be a moron when you're drafting. Yeah, definitely.
59:46If there's one takeaway, it's know the settings of your league when you go into that draft.
59:51It's like day one stuff and making videos for 10 years, but day one stuff there.
59:55Erickson, final thoughts before we get out of here.
59:57Um, I mean, when it's three wide receivers, try to prioritize that a little bit more.
60:02And I think that's something that I ran into just similar to Erick Alano.
60:06Just, you kind of pigeonhole yourself into our, but my flex is already filled.
60:10And like, I like Rashad White, but now he's on my bench and I can't really use him.
60:14So I think that can hard pass on the value sometimes, but you do have to eventually fill a starting roster at some point.
60:21That nine straight receivers end of round two, early round three, really changed the whole shape of this draft.
60:26I think just in, it, it got rid of a lot of good players and it kind of made other people have to react differently.
60:33That I think was a key turning point there.
60:36Uh, we'll go ahead and wrap things up there before we get out of here.
