Aaron Jones

NegativeValue7:15

Current rest-of-season rankings favor Aaron Jones over Jordan Mason, but the source expects this gap to narrow after Week 7 as Mason takes over the Vikings RB1 role, implying Jones' value is inflated relative to his role trajectory.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveBreakout4:04

Williams, a rookie third-round pick from Clemson, fits the slot role well and stepped up with McLaurin out; he caught three third downs in the game and was targeted by Jaden Daniels in crucial situations, showing he is getting involved in the offense.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveRole18:20

Corum has been producing with limited opportunities and his best two games have been his last two; the source expects he will get more opportunities as teams reward players who produce with limited touches. With Devontae Adams traded away, the Rams may lean into heavy personnel and multiple tight end sets to run the ball more between Corum and Kyron Williams, and the absence of Adams taking away red zone touchdowns should benefit both running backs in scoring opportunities.

Insight page
PositiveValue19:54

Corum is attainable and represents a sharp trade target; even at worst case, he is a known good running back with contingent upside if Kyron Williams goes down. The source frames him as a running back you need to acquire when in doubt, especially given his position as a backup on the Rams with more value than being a starter on a weaker offense.

Insight page
PositiveValue24:28

Corum is a strong trade target for Judkins; the two are only four spots apart in consensus rest-of-season rankings, but Corum's value as a backup on the Rams is significantly higher than Judkins' value as a starter on the Browns. Even as the number two running back on the Rams, Corum has more value than being the number one running back on Cleveland.

Insight page

Brandin Cooks

NegativeRole3:08

Brandon Cooks is part of a hodgepodge of receiving options for the 49ers as they look to add depth following Evans' injury; the source speculates the team may make a trade deadline move to add more offensive juice.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

NegativeValue39:02

The source mentions Brock Purdy as a trade chip to acquire Trevor Lawrence. Purdy is currently ranked QB3 or QB4 in consensus rest-of-season rankings, higher than Trevor Lawrence's QB5 ranking. The source suggests that selling Purdy makes sense given the quarterback injuries affecting the 49ers and the strength of Lawrence's remaining schedule.

Insight page

Cam Akers

PositiveRole48:51

The source identifies Cam Akers as a hold in a trio with Josh Jacobs and Kyle Monangai. Despite receiving zero touches in week 6, the source expects Akers' touches to increase next week. The source notes that the Giants coaching staff has been vocal about wanting a running back to step up, and while there is openness to using multiple running backs, the source believes Akers is clearly the best running back on the team. The source states that if anyone is going to be the Giants' RB1, it will be Akers or nobody. The source characterizes the zero-touch game as a one-game lesson and expects Akers to return to normal playing time (if not full workload) next week based on how Giants beat reporters are discussing the situation.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeBust7:36

Chase Brown has underwhelmed relative to his round-one/round-two draft capital; he has not finished top-12 in any week played this season. Recently outproduced by Samajay Pirine, though Brown still led in opportunities in their last matchup (closer to 50-50 split). Brown lost a fumble in that game, and the source notes running backs have faced fumble-related benching this season.

Insight page
PositiveValue8:28

Chase Brown is RB11 in expected fantasy points per game but RB21 in actual fantasy points, suggesting regression in his favor; he remains a bell-cow back on a good Bengals offense that is traditionally a slow starter and should improve after the bye week. The source notes he's still inside the top 15 in rest-of-season rankings despite underwhelming production (RB14 in week one, then RB22–RB34 in subsequent weeks in half-PPR), making him a buy-low candidate whose stock is down after a lackluster start but whose volume and role remain intact.

Insight page

Chigoziem Okonkwo

PositiveUsage5:00

Okonkwo had a strong game with 7 catches on 7 targets for 69 yards and led the team in routes run at 86% of dropbacks—elite usage for a fantasy tight end; he was underutilized in Tennessee but signed a big free agent contract with the Commanders and is now getting significant opportunity with McLaurin out.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

NegativeBust29:01

Henry is a sell candidate despite his RB7 ranking; the source is concerned about his age (32), heavy volume (140-150 touches through six weeks), and declining efficiency. His yards per carry outside of the weak Colts defense in week one have been 4.3, 3.4, 3.2, 4.3, 3.4—under 3.5 yards per attempt in three of the last four weeks. He has only one touchdown in the last two weeks and has not been effective in short yardage, particularly in a disappointing 17-for-58, zero-touchdown performance against the Browns despite facing a defense that has been gashed by the run all season.

Insight page
NegativeProjection30:00

Henry's production has been volume-dependent rather than efficiency-driven; the source worries that if volume decreases or efficiency declines further, his fantasy value will suffer significantly. At 32 years old with heavy tread on the tires from past usage, Henry needs touchdowns to maintain high-level fantasy production, and the source questions whether his ceiling is as strong as it appeared when he scored six touchdowns in the first four weeks.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup32:00

Henry faces a tough schedule ahead with games against the Bengals, Bills, and Jaguars over the next three weeks; the source notes this is a difficult stretch that could impact his production. However, the Bengals matchup this week could be a monster game for Henry, and when Lamar Jackson returns, the offense may improve, though there is concern that Jackson may not return at 100% health after his injury.

Insight page
NegativeValue32:00

The source recommends shopping Derrick Henry rather than outright selling, but suggests being open to blockbuster trade conversations. Henry is still ranked RB7 in consensus rest-of-season rankings, which gives him significant trade value; the source believes you can get a lot for him even after a down game, and selling high before potential future down games materialize could be a smart move.

Insight page
NegativeProjection36:21

The source expresses concern about Derrick Henry's trade value and future production. While acknowledging his excellent production so far this season, the source worries that if volume decreases or efficiency drops given his age and heavy workload, the fantasy value could decline significantly. The source also notes that if Lamar Jackson returns from injury and is not 100% healthy (as happened last season), the Ravens offense may struggle, further impacting Henry's performance. With a tough schedule ahead (Bengals, Bills, Jaguars in the next three weeks), the source suggests that trading Derrick Henry for a package haul now could prove to be a smart move. The source recommends exploring package deals rather than straight one-for-one trades, such as pairing Chase Brown plus a receiver with Derrick Henry, or combining a top-end receiver with Blake Corum or Jordan Mason.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeProjection38:53

The source notes that Drake Maye, currently QB3 or QB4 in consensus rankings, also has a really good schedule for the rest of the season. While the source doesn't make a direct comparison or explicit buy/sell recommendation for Maye in this segment, the mention of his favorable schedule alongside Trevor Lawrence and Brock Purdy suggests he is in the tier of quarterbacks with positive playoff outlook.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeRole3:08

With Mike Evans out, the 49ers operate on a next-man-up mentality; Kittle is one of the key beneficiaries expected to see increased opportunity in the offense.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeValue45:00

The source suggests selling Javante Williams despite his consistent touchdown production. While acknowledging that Williams plays on a high-powered offense and has been getting touchdowns consistently, the source raises concerns about his schedule. Upcoming matchups include San Francisco, Seattle, the Rams, and Jacksonville in week 16 (fantasy semifinals), all of which present tough rushing defenses. Additionally, Williams has a late bye week (week 14), which could be problematic for teams needing to win late in the season. The source notes that while Williams doesn't have a 100-yard rushing game this season, he continues to score touchdowns, but the combination of schedule difficulty and bye timing makes him a sell candidate if you can find a buyer who believes in his touchdown consistency.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveBreakout7:15

The source maintains Jordan Mason as a buy, expecting him to take over as the RB1 in the Vikings backfield. Current rest-of-season rankings have Aaron Jones ahead, but the source believes that gap will narrow after Week 7 and as the season progresses, positioning this as a last-chance buy window.

Insight page
PositiveValue24:17

Mason is a buy candidate as a trade target for Judkins; the source notes that Mason is ranked significantly higher than Judkins in rest-of-season consensus rankings, making a straight swap favorable. Mason has been out of sight but remains a strong asset, and the source believes this is the perfect time to make the trade.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeValue50:05

The source identifies Josh Jacobs as a sell-high candidate despite positive coach speak around his return from the commissioner's exempt list. Currently ranked RB20 in rest-of-season rankings, Jacobs is expected to return to a full workload, but the source views him as a ticking time bomb due to his legal situation. The source notes that Jacobs could return for one game and then face suspension for the rest of the season, making him a flip-based-on-hype type of move. The source believes this is the optimal time to sell Jacobs while his value is elevated, as you would get the most for him compared to the other running backs in this trio.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

PositiveProjection50:05

The source identifies Kyle Monangai as a hold in a trio with Josh Jacobs and Cam Akers. While Monangai is currently injured and did not touch the football in week 6, the source notes that when he does produce in the Eagles offense alongside DeAndre Swift, he can be an absolute monster. The source views Monangai as a bye (hold) for now, with the expectation that his value will increase once he returns to health.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveRole20:10

Much of Kyron's value this year has come from added passing game usage; even if the Rams don't increase their overall run percentage, they may throw more to Kyron given his skill set, which could then allow Corum to receive more rushing volume. The loss of Devontae Adams means the Rams don't have as many receiving options, so Kyron's passing game role may expand further.

Insight page
PositiveValue44:04

The source identifies Kyron Williams as a buy in a trio comparison with Javante Williams and Ashton Gentry, all ranked around RB8-10 in ECR. The source notes that Williams is coming off a bad game and may be available at a discount. Williams plays on a super high-powered offense, and the source expresses strong conviction about holding him, stating "you can't pry him from my cold dead fingers." The source prefers Kyron over both Javante Williams and Ashton Gentry in this tier.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury40:01

The source expresses concern about Lamar Jackson's ankle injury recovery and its impact on fantasy value. While acknowledging Lamar is the better quarterback overall with an elite ceiling, the source notes uncertainty around his health status and draws a parallel to last season when Lamar returned from injury and "did not look the same," causing the offense to struggle. The source worries that if the volume decreases or efficiency drops given his age and heavy workload, combined with a tough schedule (Bengals, Bills, Jaguars in the next three weeks), the offense may not perform as expected. Despite Lamar's historical dominance in the Stefon Diggs-Todd Monken offense, the source suggests Trevor Lawrence feels less risky and would prefer to sell Lamar Jackson if possible, potentially requiring an additional piece like Jordan Mason in return rather than a straight one-for-one swap.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury1:28

Suffered an injury during Monday night football against the Commanders; was still productive before going down, and his absence in the second half noticeably impacted the 49ers' offensive efficiency, with the offense becoming a shell of itself without him.

Insight page
PositiveInjury2:39

Evans suffered an injury that does not appear to be season-ending or super long-term; the 49ers have a game this week but will want to buy on week eight, making the earliest return around week nine.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeProjection23:23

Judkins is ranked RB22 in rest-of-season consensus rankings but the source believes his actual value is closer to RB20-ish when healthy and playing well, indicating overvaluation. The source is concerned about underwhelming production ahead given upcoming matchups, injury concerns, and offensive line issues.

Insight page
NegativeBust23:23

Judkins is a sell candidate due to multiple red flags: upcoming three straight road games (Titans, Steelers, Saints) where the Browns offense and offensive line perform poorly; a recurring ankle injury from last season that concerns the source given running backs' poor track records returning from foot injuries; and declining efficiency metrics—third worst in rushing success rate, fourth worst in EPA per attempt, and fourth worst in yards per carry this season. Dylan Sampson's return will threaten Judkins' three-down role, and Deshaun Watson's poor play drags down the entire offense.

Insight page
NegativeRole23:42

Judkins' ceiling is limited even if Deshaun Watson is replaced by Shudra Sanders; the source believes Sanders can make the offense average at best, not top-10, and Judkins is a RB2 in best-case scenario. The source would maintain a sell stance on Judkins even with a quarterback change because the offense ceiling remains capped.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeValue0:00

Diggs' early-season production benefited from Oconquo's absence; with Oconquo returning, target share may flatten. The source suggests Diggs as a potential sell-high candidate despite a strong primetime performance with a touchdown.

Insight page
NegativeValue4:04

With McLaurin out, Diggs becomes the de facto WR1 for the Commanders, but the source questions his ceiling as an older receiver who has already dealt with a hamstring injury this season; he is flagged as a potential sell-high candidate despite a strong primetime performance with a touchdown, especially given the Commanders' bye week timing and the emergence of other receiving options.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeInjury1:10

Suffered a knee injury during Monday night football that is feared to be season-ending; the injury looked devastating and was widely discussed as a major blow to the Commanders' receiving corps.

Insight page
NegativeInjury2:39

McLaurin suffered a knee injury feared to be season-ending; the source does not expect to see him for the rest of the season.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection38:12

The source identifies Trevor Lawrence as a screaming buy for fantasy trade purposes. Currently QB3 overall in total points but only QB9 in points per game, Lawrence has faced a tough schedule to start the season. However, the source notes that according to the FantasyPros strength of schedule tool, the Jaguars have the number-one fantasy quarterback schedule for the rest of the season. Coming off a monster game against Houston, the source believes Lawrence has all the ingredients to replicate his late-season breakout from last year (weeks 5-6 onward) when he outscored every other fantasy player. The source emphasizes that while most people don't actively trade for quarterbacks, now is the time to strike a deal, potentially offering Brock Purdy to acquire Lawrence for a playoff championship run.

0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. Guarno. Hello everybody, welcome into the Fantasy Pros Football Podcast.
0:05I'm Ryan Warmly, joined by Andrew Erickson on this Tuesday morning.
0:08We're talking trades here ahead of Week 7. Some buys and sells.
0:11This will be the running backs and quarterbacks version of the show.
0:14We'll have the receivers and tight ends version for you coming out a little bit later.
0:19Erickson, how are you doing? Doing good, man. It is a great day to be talking trades with you.
0:24We're entering Week 7. I can't believe the season is already, at this point, flown by.
0:28Patriots are playing on Thursday night, so that's always exciting.
0:31And we had a really fun Monday night football game that did not look like it was going to be fun at all, whatsoever.
0:37Now, had some wide receiver injuries, which is always tough.
0:40But I do think that the way the Commanders at least rallied a little bit in the second half to make that
0:46game interesting was good for those that were watching.
0:49Yeah, I, this is my final, as you know, on Monday nights in the fall, I have softball games.
0:54So we kind of are watching the games through the phone and miss stuff here and there when we're in the dugout at the game.
1:01I had my last one last night, so I'll be a little more dialed in for the future weeks.
1:06But obviously, I was paying attention to everything as best I could through the phone.
1:10And, you know, the Terry McLaurin injury, you kind of alluded to the receiver injuries, was obviously like, you know, the one
1:16that was kind of blown up and, you know, apparently looked quite devastating.
1:20I didn't go back and rewatch, you know, the highlight of that, but, you know, I saw everybody's reaction to it.
1:25Obviously, that's a really tough one for a beloved player like that.
1:29You know, Mike Evans as well, you know, with his different type of injury, of course.
1:33Final score here was 23-17 with the Niners. I really thought the Niners were going to absolutely blow the doors off the Commanders.
1:39So credit to the Commanders for keeping this one closer than I thought.
1:43But even though the Niners were up, you know, pretty much the entire game by a comfortable amount, still, you know, Washington
1:49deserves some credit, especially fighting through the injury like that for keeping this one closer than I expected.
1:54Yeah, I mean, the Niners were heading into half up 20-3, over 300 net yards to the Commanders' 90.
1:59They had 17 first downs to the Commanders' two first downs.
2:02Like, it was like, oh man, seven and a half points was not enough for the Commanders.
2:07And that's the side that I was on. So, of course, the Commanders lose by seven points because of an extra point that was missed by Eddie Pinheiro.
2:14So, yeah, I'm wearing an egg on my face because the Commanders actually ended up covering that game barely by the chin
2:20of their chin-chin-chin or whatever the phrase is. So, that was not ideal.
2:24But, yeah, then people came after me about Mike Evans, right?
2:27Where, this is your fault, Erickson, because you called him sell high last week.
2:31And I'm like, guys, like, I have him on teams.
2:33I tried to trade him this week and I couldn't.
2:36I didn't get a lot of my lineups. So, again, I don't want to see guys get hurt.
2:41Not, never, never the case. And, I mean, he was still productive, too, before he went down.
2:46And it's actually interesting because how much of an impact he made you saw in the second half when he wasn't out there.
2:52The 49ers' offense was a shell of itself. Like, not moving the ball effectively, especially against a Commanders' defense that teams have picked on basically all season.
2:59So, at least the Evans injury. The McLaurin one is feared to be season-ending.
3:03It was a knee injury. So, I don't think we're going to see Terry the rest of the season.
3:08With Mike Evans, at least it seems like this won't be season-ending for him or super, super long.
3:13Now, the 49ers have a game this week, but then they're going to want to buy on week eight.
3:19So, the earliest we'll probably see him is probably around week nine.
3:22But, in the meantime, it's more of, okay, next man up mentality with the 49ers, whether it's Chris McCaffrey, whether it's George Kittle.
3:28And then they have that hodgepodge of Brandon Cooks.
3:31Are they going to make a trade? Right? I tweeted out during the game, is Brian Thomas Jr.
3:36going to be a San Francisco 49er at some point?
3:38He's got a connection with Mac Jones. You know that at least one quarterback in the QB room would vouch for him.
3:44And this team just needs more juice because they feel top-heavy.
3:47And although they're 6-0, you get concerned about, can they keep this type of pace up?
3:52So, I'm interested to see if they are buyers.
3:54I've got to imagine they make some type of move at the trade deadline.
3:58Just quickly, what's your interest level moving forward in Diggs and Antonio Williams if we operate under the assumption that McLaurin is
4:04out for a long time and very possibly the year?
4:07Yeah, so I think that obviously both guys get a major boost.
4:10I liked Antonio Williams a lot as a rookie third-round pick from Clemson.
4:14A guy could fit the slot really, really well.
4:16And he stepped up. He actually caught three third downs in this game.
4:20So, Jaden Daniels was looking for him in crucial situations.
4:22Diggs is obviously the veteran that is going to be the wide receiver one with Terry McLaurin out.
4:27I do kind of question maybe the ceiling with Diggs because he's a bit, again, these older receivers.
4:32Diggs has already dealt with a hamstring injury this year.
4:35Is this something that he's going to be up to the task to be the wide receiver one for the rest of the way?
4:41So, I do think that he kind of like might be an interesting sell-high player, especially with the commanders on a bye week.
4:48And the fact that he will be thrown, put on the throne as like, oh, he's the number one guy no matter what.
4:54When you saw other guys get involved and Antonio Williams was getting involved, Chica Conquo actually had a pretty big game.
5:00Caught seven of seven targets for 69 yards. He led the team in routes running, ran a route on a season-high 86% of the dropbacks.
5:07So, that's really, really strong usage for a fantasy tight end that is borderline elite.
5:11So, I like the Conquo a lot. You know, from Tennessee, I thought that he was underutilized in that offense.
5:16The commanders signed him to a big free agent contract.
5:19And obviously, his fantasy guy got nuked because they added Stephon Diggs.
5:22Yeah, we were all over him before Diggs. Yeah.
5:25All summer. And then you have to readjust your expectations because like, well, now he's not, he can't be the number two on his offense.
5:32You fall to number three and it's just really, really hard.
5:35He also started the season with an injury. So, a lot of Diggs' early season production did come with Oconquo not playing.
5:41So, I do think that the target share might be a little bit more flat than some people are expecting.
5:46So, Diggs, I think maybe would be a potential sell-high just based on a primetime game.
5:50He scored a touchdown. He did play really well, though.
5:53He had that one drop early on. And he looked like he busted up his finger.
5:58But he ended up being okay and obviously scored a touchdown later in the game.
6:02So, that's kind of like the receiver room. And Rashad White was the RB1 for the commanders.
6:06But they did mix in some other guys. Jeremy McNichols, Austin Eckler played a little bit because I don't know when we're
6:12going to see Jakor Kroski merit any time soon.
6:15Again, placed on an injured reserve before week six game.
6:17And Dan Quid said that it was the third time that he'd injured his groin.
6:22So, I think that it's going to be a while before we see Bill back in action.
6:26So, White is kind of the RB1 on offense that can't really run the football.
6:30But White catches passes. So, that'll work for an RB2 slot.
6:33Let's get into the running backs to buy and sell.
6:36We'll start with the running backs to buy. As always, Erickson, you threw out a couple of names into the show sheet.
6:42Did you find it a struggle to pick guys this week?
6:45Or did you find it relatively easy to settle on?
6:48I feel like this is the section that's usually the toughest for us, right?
6:52Is the running backs to buy. How did you approach it this week?
6:55And for playing through injuries. So, Jeremiah Love, I think, was last week.
6:59Ashton Gentry the week before. So, has not really panned out for those types of players.
7:03Because right now, it's like, if you have your star running back that's playing well, you're not moving off of this type of player.
7:10So, I know that you put in the show sheet originally Jordan Mason.
7:13I didn't want to totally rehash the analysis on Jordan Mason.
7:16Because I know that we've talked about him, I think, the last three weeks of, this is your last chance to buy Jordan Mason.
7:23Yeah. I just want to be clear with that.
7:25It's still a buy. Because I do think that he's going to take over as the RB1 in this Vikings backfield.
7:31And I think this is the last chance. So, I get rest of the season rankings have Aaron Jones ahead of Jordan Mason.
7:37I think that gap is going to narrow after we see week seven.
7:41And as the season progresses. So, I would buy Jordan Mason.
7:44But going to a different running back for the sake of, hey, let's look at something else.
7:49Because these guys keep talking about buying Jordan Mason and selling Aaron Jones.
7:52Chase Brown. Another player that is not coming, or is not top of mind.
7:56Because similar to Jordan Mason, he's coming off the buy week.
7:59I think that the narrative around Chase Brown is probably pretty negative right now.
8:03Where he's probably underwhelmed versus where you drafted him as the back of round one, round two type of pick.
8:08I don't think he has a top 12 finish at all this season in any week that he has played.
8:14So, definitely has not met up to draft expectations.
8:16And the last time we saw him, he was getting outproduced by Samajay Pirine.
8:20So, I know Pirine was a popular waiver ad.
8:22Obviously, the buy week kind of poured some cold water on how aggressive people were going to be going after Pirine.
8:28But look, Chase Brown still was the leader in the opportunities the last time we saw these teams play.
8:33Again, it was closer to a 50-50 split. But sometimes we see this with coaches where they go with a hot hand approach in one particular matchup.
8:41Chase Brown lost a fumble in that game. And we've seen a lot of running backs go to fumble jail this season for one week.
8:48And then they go back to their normal role.
8:50So, we've seen this backfield between Samajay and Pirine Chase Brown for seasons, right?
8:54We saw it all in 2025. And it was the guys very in specific roles where Chase Brown is playing 70% or so of the snaps.
9:01And Samajay Pirine is closer to 30% or more of the snaps.
9:04And it's interesting. So, Pirine had 14 carries in this last game against the Miami Dolphins.
9:09Seven of them came in the fourth quarter. And he also caught a six-yard touchdown.
9:13His snap share was up to 51%. He had 14 carries twice last year as well.
9:17And what happened in the following games after he had 14 carries, his carries went back down to six or seven.
9:23So, I don't think that this is one-week sample size is enough to just, okay, we got to write off Chase Brown.
9:29Samajay Pirine is going to be a 50% snap guy rest of season when we've already seen this picture play out where
9:35it's always Chase Brown that is the RB1 in this backfield and not Samajay Pirine.
9:39So, Chase Brown is RB11 expected fantasy points per game this season, RB21 in actual fantasy points.
9:44So, to me, it's suggesting, hey, there is some regression here that's going to work out in Chase Brown's favor.
9:49You're buying a running back on a really good offense that we expect to kind of start humming a little bit more.
9:55The Bengals are traditionally slow starters, and I think Chase Brown has kind of felt the brunt of the slow start.
10:01Or if they come out of the bye week firing on all cylinders, the schedule isn't necessarily like, oh, this is the
10:07reason why you should buy Chase Brown, but it's more like the environmental factors, the fact that he is still a bell
10:13cow, in my opinion, and the fact that his stock is kind of down after a lackluster start to the season.
10:19Yeah, we've seen him finish strong after a slow start before in seasons.
10:22I think it's really interesting, anybody inside the top 15, there's such a delineation between this top 15 running backs and the
10:28rest of season rankings, and then the confidence level you would have in anybody else.
10:32And he's inside that top 15. So, it is always, I think, really fascinating to consider what it would actually take to
10:38pry one of these guys away from somebody, even somebody who is disappointing like Chase Brown, and who hasn't quite lived up
10:44to the volume and the expectations that you would have had during draft season, he's still inside that top 15 in a
10:50way that I do think fantasy managers are going to be reticent to part with him, unless you are willing to spend a little.
10:57So, I wonder how much of a bye low versus a bye normal this is.
11:01Who are some names that come to mind for you that would make sense to trade for him?
11:06And also, by the way, I will say, you are correct, he has not been inside the top 12 this season, and
11:12in fact, since week one, he has not finished inside the top 20 in any game this season.
11:17He was RB14 in week one, since then, 2230, 2234.
11:20That's in half PPR scoring. Yeah, so definitely underwhelming.
11:22And I think that just opens up an opportunity where you can buy a running back that would surprise nobody if he's
11:28a fantasy RB1 the rest of the way. So, in terms of making a deal, Brown, to your point, is kind of
11:34in that weird tier of running backs where you can't really just trade another running back for him straight up because of
11:40kind of where the like delineage falls with him as like the last running back you can trust or one of the
11:46last running backs you can trust as a fringe fantasy RB1.
11:49So, I think for me, it's wide receiver that you would have to do.
11:53So, we know that when you make a receiver for running back trades, you have to kind of trade down or the
11:59wide receiver has to kind of be like a tier above the running back because of the scarcity of running back versus wide receiver.
12:06So, for me, it's the tier of Nico Collins, Justin Jefferson, Neighbors, Christian Watson, Parker Washington.
12:10Like that is like the tier of receiver you're going to have to trade to get Chase Brown.
12:15For me, I know I did this last year.
12:17I traded Nico Collins to get Chase Brown straight up.
12:20And it was a good trade for both parties because they needed a receiver.
12:24I needed a running back. We made the trade.
12:26Both guys were productive after the trade was made.
12:29And it was like sick, like good deal to make.
12:32So, if you're sitting on whether it's Watson or Washington or Neighbors because you drafted them a little bit later on, you
12:38need more help at running back because your RB2 has been just not good.
12:42I think these are the interesting moves to make.
12:44And it's not to say that you have to trade these wide receivers away, but you have to make sure that you
12:50address your running back need if you have a big one.
12:53So, I think that that's kind of the range I would be looking at to move for a running back of Chase Brown.
12:59If you were going to look at other running backs, he's one spot behind Jalen.
13:03Warren in the rest of the season rankings. I know we just talked about Warren as a buy last week, but that
13:09was before Rico Dowdle coming back and seeing what that usage looked like.
13:13Would you rather have Brown than Warren? Because maybe that could be a trade that you could get done.
13:18I think it still kept Jalen Warren in there.
13:21I know that Dowdle, especially in the first half of that game, was more involved.
13:25But I think it's interesting because you look at the Steelers and how good was the offense when they were splitting it 50-50.
13:31It's not good. They were losing in that game.
13:34So, it's one of those things where you're hoping that conventional wisdom and coaching will come into play here and be like,
13:40well, we split up the backfield and we didn't score any points.
13:43But then when we went to Jalen Warren in overtime, when it mattered the most in crunch time, what do you know?
13:49We ended up being way better offensively. So, I know that Chase Brown and Jalen Warren kind of check off the buckets
13:55of these more underrated running backs in real life.
13:57I do think that Jalen Warren actually is, in terms of like a snap or snap, like just watching them play.
14:03I think he probably is a little bit better.
14:06Now, Chase Brown has had the better role throughout his NFL career, but I do think things will bounce back for Warren.
14:12So, I think it's close, but I do prefer Warren.
14:14For my running back to buy, as always, again, this is the section that I most struggled with picking a player for.
14:20I looked a little bit lower and cheaper. I went with Blake Corum.
14:24He's RB26. He was RB28 when I put together this sheet.
14:27And I really am, I guess, not planting my flag, but I'm sort of making the point that I do ultimately think
14:33there are better days ahead for the Rams. We actually talked on the tailgate this week with Debro about how the Rams
14:39are maybe more in trouble than we thought coming off of this loss to the Cardinals.
14:43At the end of the day, though, I think the chance that the Rams are still very good at some point this
14:49season, in which case Blake Corum is going to have a lot of opportunities later in games, scoring touchdowns, kind of the
14:55path that we anticipated this summer to him being a successful fantasy pick.
14:59And then also, the upside still remains immense, if anything were to happen to Kyron Williams.
15:03And he's been RB, you know, I think it's, yeah, RB15 and RB14 the last two weeks, respectively.
15:08Half of his games this season, he's been inside the top 24.
15:11He's ranked outside the top 24. I think the touchdown opportunities are still going to be there moving forward.
15:17It's also an easier schedule moving forward. It's not, you know, if you look at the game log on fantasypros.com, it sort
15:23of highlights, you know, friendly matchups are in green, unfriendly matchups are in red.
15:26I think it's a bit misleading on his game log right now.
15:30There's some red on there. Teams like the Chargers and the Commanders.
15:33I think that those are teams that the Rams could go in and play very well against and have a big lead.
15:39And then we see Corum kind of getting those yards late in the game.
15:43I also think that he's just good enough that they will continue to sprinkle him in at other points during the game
15:49and we'll have those touchdown opportunities, even if the Rams aren't blowing out opponents the way we expected them to.
15:54But again, the upcoming schedule is the Raiders, the Chargers, the Commanders, the Cardinals again.
15:58And then you get the bye. I think those four games leading into the bye, we could see the Rams win them all.
16:05In which case, I'm going to like Corum a lot.
16:08And again, the upside remains really high if there were to be an injury in this backfield.
16:12But again, he's already outperforming this rest of season ranking, you know, by a wide margin, even without having that added opportunity
16:18of an injury or anything like that. Snap count's not that high.
16:21Again, you're talking about a backup here. But as far as backups go, I think this is a good one.
16:27And again, like he's ranked, you know, almost outside the top 30.
16:30That's a guy that is affordable, you would think, if anybody in your league is looking at these rankings.
16:35And, you know, people know the upside. I'm not saying you can get him for pennies on the dollar.
16:41But I do think you can get him for, I don't know, quarters on the dollar, half dollars on the dollar.
16:46I think he's attainable. What would you look to move to get Blake Corum like a player?
16:51I think for me, this is one where you could look at another running back and sort of try to identify somebody
16:57who would just rather have a starter and not sort of play for that upside going forward and take the bigger swing.
17:03A little more safety. He's one spot behind Tony Pollard in the consensus rest of season rankings.
17:08He's two spots behind Ollie Gordon. He's three spots behind Aaron Jones, who I know you like as a sell.
17:13Any of those, I think depending on the makeup of my roster, I would be willing to move.
17:18Some harder than others, right? Ollie Gordon has been getting a lot of really nice workload and everything like that.
17:24But if you're looking at somebody saying, hey, he's coming off the bye.
17:27You need help now. I want to take the upside swing on Blake Corum.
17:31I think that's a deal that could get done.
17:33Some of the guys ranked behind him are Marion Hampton.
17:36Just say, hey, a couple of guys who like upside swings.
17:39Let's just trade lottery tickets with each other or something like that.
17:42Yeah, Cam Scadaboo coming off of his performance. Kyle Manunga, somebody getting optimistic about his return.
17:47I think any of those names are actually really intriguing, right?
17:50Like sometimes you look at the players at the same position ranked around a guy and you go, it doesn't really make sense to make these one-for-one trades.
17:57I think any of those names, the right roster fits with each other could actually make sense.
18:02Yeah, remember upside wins championships, right? So when you look at Blake Corum around these other players, yes, his week-to-week meeting projection
18:08may not be as good as these starters on other offenses.
18:11But you just laid out the case where the Rams offense is so much higher above a lot of these other teams
18:17that even as the RB2, he's outproducing a lot of these guys.
18:20Just so far this season, that's without any type of like really substantial workload.
18:24I will highlight too that his best two games have been his last two games that he's played.
18:29Last week, the split was much closer with Kyron Williams.
18:32Now, I'm not saying in any way, shape or form, please don't take this out of context.
18:37Okay, well, it's time. Corum's finally taken over the back.
18:39Really? That's not happening. Again, I've done this too many times.
18:42I refuse to get burned by it again. Again, but that being said, he is a player that has been producing with his limited opportunities.
18:49And what do we see with teams and coaches when players do this?
18:53They get more opportunities. So, and I'm not saying that's even going to come necessarily at a detriment to Kyron Williams because
18:59they, the Rams, have used both guys effectively throughout this season, throughout last season.
19:03And one point that you didn't make that I think is actually another interesting nugget here.
19:07No, Devontae Adams. Are the Rams going to continue to throw as aggressively as they were beforehand?
19:12Or it's like, no, let's lean into what we do best.
19:15Heavy personnel, multiple tight end sets, and run the crap out of the ball between our two running backs that we feel really, really confident about.
19:22So, specific with Corum, the thing that's been lacking with him is the red zone usage.
19:26Now, that has obviously been more towards Kyron. Now, in this last game, he did get some more red zone run.
19:32The fact that there is no Devontae Adams taking away those red zone touchdowns, I think is good for both Kyron Williams
19:38and Blake Corum trying to find the end zone a little bit more.
19:41So, if his offense is able to be productive, I think that both running backs will probably benefit.
19:46So, I think this one's really sharp, Worm, where it doesn't seem like he's a screaming buy, but it's, hey, when in doubt, you need a running back.
19:54Did you get Blake Corum? Again, at worst case scenario, you know he's good, right?
19:58Like, you know he's a good running back, and he has that contingent upside, especially if Kyron were to go down.
20:04So, and he's attainable. The other thing, too, I would say on the Devontae Adams' point, I'm glad you brought him up
20:10because I was going to bring him up after, was like so much of Kyron's value this year has been this added passing game usage.
20:17So, even if the Rams say, like, hey, we're not necessarily going to run the ball at a greater percentage, which I
20:23do think is totally possible, of course. What they might say is, well, we're going to throw more to Kyron, and just
20:29by the nature of he's getting this extra usage there, maybe we then run the ball more with Corum because Kyron is
20:35getting even more of the passing game usage. Because that has been a skill set of his this year, and eventually the
20:41Rams just don't have that many people to throw to.
20:44So, yeah, I do think the Devontae Adams coming out, like, maybe it lessens the chance of this offense being a juggernaut,
20:50which you would think would, you know, offer some late cheap touchdowns for Corum, but it could help in other ways, too.
20:56So, I think it's a good point to bring up.

23:10So download the Polymarket app today and use FPPOD when you sign up.
23:14That's FPPOD to get $25 free after you deposit just $10.
23:17All right, Erickson, who's your running back to sell?
23:19So this is the one I probably struggle with the most.
23:22I know that you were struggling with Arby's to buy.
23:25My Arby's to sell was the toughest for me, and I refused to do the cop-out of, well, I've said to sell
23:31Aaron Jones for the last three weeks. I just bring it back and play the hits.
23:35So again, he is still a sell. Mason's still a buy.
23:38But I went in a different direction here with running back for the Cleveland Browns, Quinchon Judkins.
23:43So Judkins was one at buy for me, I think probably around like week two, because I liked how cheap he was,
23:49and he was going to play some positive matchups at home.
23:52And he ended up delivering in a couple of different decent spots.
23:55So if you did buy Judkins on the cheap, I don't think that was like a terrible move.
24:00But now I'm feeling less optimistic about his rest of season outlook.
24:03So I look at him in the rest of season rankings.
24:06The last time I checked, he was RB22. So still being valued as a top 24 running back, kind of in this
24:12weird running back purgatory, where it's like Judkins and then all the injured guys like DeBreece Hall, Saquon Barkley, guys that it's
24:19really hard to kind of address of what is this guy's actual value right now?
24:23What is it rest of season? I look at Judkins and the upcoming matchups for the Cleveland Browns.
24:28They have three straight road games at the Titans, at the Steelers, at the Saints.
24:32Now on paper, Titans and Saints aren't necessarily bad matchups for the running game, but the Browns offense overall and the offensive
24:38line does not play nearly as well on the road than they do at home.
24:42Bad offensive lines don't travel. That's been an issue for the Cleveland Browns dating back to last season with Quinchon Judkins.
24:48If you just look at his home road splits, it's bad.
24:51He's much better at home. And then after those three straight road games, they get the Houston Texans and then a bye week.
24:57So I think that you're looking at underwhelming production at best for Quinchon Judkins.
25:01And that's if he comes back from this injury.
25:03The fact that it's the same ankle that he's dealing with an injury that he suffered last year when he had the season ending injury, that concerns me.
25:11Anytime we deal with foot injuries with running backs, I feel like I was just saying back to Joe Mixon.
25:16And it just, it never, ever panned out. He never was the same again.
25:20He was just a total zero for the rest of the season.
25:23So that's also kind of creeping the back of my mind.
25:26And if it's still RB 22, top 24 running back production, when I think Judkins healthy and like playing well is a top 20 ish running back.
25:34So given all these red flags, the matchups coming up, the fact that Dylan Sampson is going to be coming back soon, right?
25:40We saw Judkins fantasy value get a major boost because how much he was being used in the passing game.
25:46And Sampson, that is where he thrives as a running back.
25:49So Judkins, I'm concerned about the three down role that he would have in this Browns offense.
25:53That again, is like lackluster average at best. And so far this year, he has not been good as a rusher, similar to last year.
26:00Third worst in rushing success rate, fourth worst in EPA per attempt, and fourth worst in yards per carry.
26:05So to me, looking for running backs to sell, Worm, I kind of pulled out of your playbook where I looked at
26:11where there are the rest of season rankings had this player.
26:14It's like, if he's being died as a top 24 running back, I want out.
26:18Because I see how this goes way off the rails in this offense with these matchups, with the injury, except race checker, it's extra.
26:25So that's kind of where I stand with Judkins.
26:27I really thought the Browns looked terrible in their win against the Ravens.
26:31We talked about this in the tailgate. I thought that was so much more about the Ravens making mistakes.
26:36Like Deshaun Watson has been awful the last two weeks.
26:39And yet Debro has made the point that he's been actually really quite bad the entire season, even early on when there
26:45was some like, oh, Sean Watts played a little better.
26:48Truly the last two weeks. So I think he's looked absolutely dreadful.
26:51And obviously that's going to drag down everybody in this offense, particularly a player like Judkins, didn't play on Sunday, of course.
26:57But do you feel like if Shudra Sanders comes in and becomes a quarterback anytime soon that you'll think about this differently?
27:03Or would you maintain kind of your same stance on Judkins in that scenario?
27:07Yeah, I think it would just be a reason to ship off Judkins.
27:10I just think that Judkins is a RB2, right?
27:13I think that's like best case scenario. Is Shudra Sanders going to make this offense top 10?
27:17I don't think so. Like he can make it average, but I think that's what we've seen when the offense has been average.
27:24That's when we've seen the best out of Judkins.
27:26So I just don't think the ceiling is super, super high where you're going to look back and be like, man, it's
27:32totally burned me when I trade away Judkins. A player that I like flip Jordan Mason, man, like this is the time,
27:38like this is the perfect deal to make that I think you can definitely get done because Judkins has been, has been
27:44playing, obviously dealing with the injury now, but we haven't seen Jordan Mason out of sight, out of mind.
27:49So I think that's a deal, especially when you look at rest season rankings, like it's pretty stark where Mason is ranked versus where Judkins is ranked.
27:57What about Judkins for Blake Corum? They're four spots apart in consensus CCR rest of season.
28:01I mean, I'm not going to say to sell Judkins and then support your Blake Corum by and not co-sign on this.
28:07So I do think that that is the right move to make.
28:10And it feels weird because Judkins is a starter, but Blake Corum is the backup, but you have to take that within the confines of these offenses, right?
28:18Even as the number two running back on the Rams, that probably has way more value than being the number one running back on the Cleveland Browns.
28:26So I, yeah, I think that's another deal that you can definitely get done.
28:29Again, especially because Judkins could really dud out if this injury is worse, right?
28:33Reaggravation of an injury from last year. That's just red flag city.
28:36And that's what gets me concerned about him. My running back, you can definitely sell.
28:41It's Derrick Henry. And it's kind of an interesting one.
28:43Actually, I'll just ask you before I get into it.
28:46Were you surprised to see me put Derrick Henry on here or did you read it and go, oh, okay, I kind of see it.
28:53I was a little surprised because you're a Ravens fan and you love Derrick Henry.
28:57I was curious to see what your angle was going to be because we don't know why we have certain names on the sheets.
29:04There's no one else. It's just, hey, Derrick Henry.
29:06I'm like, does Worm have the insider information? Derrick Henry is just not going to play her.
29:11And also too, I thought maybe it would be schedule based too because I know that the Ravens schedule is not amazing.
29:17But again, please enlighten me. Why are we getting rid of the king?
29:20So the schedule isn't the main reason at all.
29:23It's a small part of it. I mean, they had the easiest schedule in the NFL.
29:27We're one of them to start the season from this point on.
29:30I believe it is the toughest or at the very least is close to the toughest going forward.
29:35Derrick Henry is still a very good player. I do think he is a small step down from what we've seen.
29:41The numbers he has put up have been very volume based.
29:44His carry totals this season, 24, 16, 26, 23, 24, 17.
29:47The yards per attempt outside of that week one game against the Colts defense that you and I talk about a lot as absolutely dreadful.
29:54His yards per carry in those games, 4.3, 3.4, 3.2, 4.3, 3.4.
29:57He's been under three and a half yards per attempt in three of the last four weeks.
30:02Erickson, he has been really relying on heavy volume and getting touchdowns.
30:05And he only has one touchdown in the last two weeks.
30:08It wasn't a rushing touchdown. So that hasn't been effective.
30:11He has not been good in the short yardage this season.
30:14And the Ravens haven't been good in the short yardage.
30:17I'm not putting all the blame on him, of course.
30:19The offensive line hasn't been great there. The fact that they couldn't run effectively against this Browns defense is extremely concerning to me.
30:26I know they were crowding the box because Tyler Huntley doesn't throw the ball downfield.
30:30I don't care. This defense has been gashed by the run the entire season.
30:34And Derrick Henry, 17 for 58, no touchdowns. Like, I thought that was really disappointing by the Ravens' offensive line.
30:39Now, generally speaking, I'm not going to come out here and say, hey, one bad game.
30:43He's been really productive. So you have to sell him for that reason.
30:47I'm looking at it like, listen, I know we think Derrick Henry is timeless.
30:51And again, he is still good. This is not me saying that he is washed and bad at all.
30:56He's also 32 years old. He's already had like, I don't know what, 140, 150 touches this season just six weeks in.
31:02I don't know how he's going to hold up, even though he's typically a player that is much better later in the season.
31:08And the Ravens' offensive line, while it is improved from last year, I don't know that it is actually good, especially with all this center injury stuff.
31:16We're hoping Cam Juergens is going to be a problem solver there.
31:19But he was pretty bad in Philly, honestly. Like, we don't know how he's going to fit in this offensive line quite yet.
31:25John Simpson hasn't been the best signing for the Ravens at guard.
31:29So Varvenga Ioane is incredible. But the rest of the additions they made on this offensive line haven't quite panned out yet this season.
31:35So I just get generally a little bit nervous about a guy who's relying on this much volume, who's this old, who
31:41has had this much volume in the past, so has a lot of tread on the tires, and who needs touchdowns, it
31:47seems like, to be a high-level fantasy running back right now.
31:50He's gotten them early this season and obviously has the name value.
31:53And he's RB7 in the consensus rest of the season ranking.
31:56So the other point to all this, Erickson, is you can get a lot for him, I think, even coming off of a down game.
32:03I worry that maybe there's more down games in the future than we expect.
32:07And there's always going to be a floor with Derrick Henry as long as he's healthy.
32:11So I don't think you are ever going to see the bottom truly fall out for him.
32:16But I wonder if that ceiling maybe isn't quite as strong as it looked like when he had six touchdowns in the first four weeks.
32:23And if selling high, again, not selling just to sell, but selling at a, hey, everybody needs running backs.
32:28I'm going to give you like maybe the, you know, one of the best running backs of all time who's still ranked as a top seven guy.
32:36And then you can get now a lot back for him.
32:39That interests me. So, so maybe this is more of a shop Derrick Henry than a sell Derrick Henry.
32:44But I think you should be open to those conversations and looking to see if there's maybe a blockbuster deal in your
32:50league that could make sense for both sides. Yeah.
32:52I like you bringing him to the table here, especially with you being a Ravens fan, watching these games really close.
32:58If anyone is going to see if Derrick Henry has lost a step, it's going to be you, right?
33:03You've watched this guy very close over the last couple of seasons.
33:06So he does leave the NFL in touches through the first six weeks of the season.
33:11So that's kind of just illuminating your point there about the workload being the reason why he's been really productive for fantasy for the most part.
33:18I do think that I still probably want to wait.
33:21I feel like he's going to have like a three touchdown, like especially when Lamar Jackson comes back.
33:26I know the Browns matchup was tough, but when you have the Browns, the Browns are just a defense that plays so much better at home.
33:33It doesn't matter like what their personnel, they just play better at home.
33:36It was Tyler Huntley starting and Todd Monk, right?
33:39Like the guy knows the Ravens personnel. So I think if anyone's going to throw a wrench into what the Ravens could
33:45do offensively, it would be Todd Monk and knowing about how these guys work, especially when it comes to Derrick Henry.
33:50So I'm cool with shopping Derrick Henry. Like you said, again, don't trade him for anything less than his value.
33:56And I think that value could increase because they're playing the Bengals this week, right?
34:00Like this could be a monster game for Derrick Henry.
34:03So if he scores three touchdowns, but again, not as much involved in the passing game, maybe he just, it's really more, again, volume dependent, volume driven.
34:10Then maybe you can flip him for when he's like uber elite receivers.
34:14Like, I guess for me, it's like right now, what do you want to get back for Derrick Henry?
34:19Are you looking to flip him for Kyron Williams, like straight up?
34:22Are you trying to do, I want to get Jamar Chase?
34:25Like that's kind of my direction of where I'm thinking, like, I have an asset like Derrick Henry that should be highly valued RB seven.
34:32Again, running backs are tough to come by, especially elite ones.
34:35Or is it a matter of you find the manager that needs running back the most and you, you float Derrick Henry
34:41out to them and be like, Hey, what can I get back for Derrick Henry?
34:45I do think that this is one where obviously you need viable alternatives, whether coming back in the trade or already on your roster.
34:52Maybe you're just really lucky and actually have multiple running backs you really like.
34:56That's helpful for that reason, because it's so hard to find running backs.
34:59If that's not the case, then it does get harder to do like a receiver for running back deal.
35:04I think like I would, I would look in a vacuum and say, based on just the rankings, like on the own
35:10team, I would trade Derrick Henry away to get Zay Flowers, right?
35:14Like to me, that's a trade that makes sense in terms of where they're ranked in value.
35:18But you need to have a running back that's coming back in this deal.
35:22Unless again, you were absolutely loaded there. So I think what, what might make more sense and is sometimes harder to do
35:28because you're giving away the better player is something like, Oh, can I get Chuba Hubbard and a wide receiver too?
35:34Right. Like, can I get, uh, Bashal Tootin and somebody else on top of that?
35:38You know, maybe it's like, I don't know, um, Jalen Coker and, and Chuba Hubbard.
35:42Maybe it's Matthew Golden and Bashal Tootin. Like to me, that is a scenario where you're giving up the better player, but
35:48I'm, I don't think the gap is going to be that wide at the running back position.
35:53If you're getting another guy inside that top 15, again, you're all, you can only make this deal if you are getting
35:59back the value of, Oh, this guy's ranked as a top eight running back rest of season.
36:03Like, again, I'm not trading him for pennies on the dollar.
36:06I'm trading him. If you can get a really hefty deal.
36:09Cause I'm not, I don't even know if he's lost a step Erickson, but has he lost a half step that that
36:15to me is like, if it's enough where somebody is holding him up as King Henry of old, again, looking at the
36:21production that he's had so far, the season has still been excellent.
36:25I worry that if the volume goes away at all, or if he gets less efficient, just again, at his age with
36:31the volume, you know, heavy workload weighing down, or if the offense, like we saw Lamar come back last season from an
36:37injury and did not look the same. And the offense really struggled because he wasn't 100% healthy.
36:41I'm really hoping that's not the case this year, obviously, but I think it has to be in the back of your mind.
36:48So if he does come back, it's a really tough schedule the next three weeks to Bengals, bills, Jags, like the offense
36:54might not be in the place that we want it to be.
36:57And, um, and I think we could look back and say that trading Derrick Henry for a haul is something that panned out.
37:03I do think that among the players, we kind of talked about the running backs today to either buy or sell, et cetera.
37:10I do think that there's an interesting point to, can you get Chase Brown plus a receiver to get with Derrick Henry?
37:16Do you do a top end receiver and pair that with Blake Corum or Jordan Mason?
37:20Right. I think those are the deals to make with Derrick Henry.
37:23So hopefully we've given you guys enough names where if you have Derrick Henry, float them out there.
37:28Maybe you can get a package back, but it seems like it's more, more in line with a package than getting a
37:34straight one for one with Derrick Henry, which I think I agree with.
37:38The world in which you're just doing a one for one again is one where you happen to get lucky and you
37:44were the guy who took the swing on Chuba Hubbard and Bashal Tootin late.
37:48And you also have Blake Corum. Like, like that's a scenario where it's like, okay, maybe Derrick Henry straight up for, I
37:54don't know, like, like I said, Zay Flowers, Chris Alave, Drake London.
37:57Like, like that's one where I'm like, okay, one for one getting an absolute stud back could be, could make sense.
38:03Most people I think are not in that bucket, in which case I think a package is where I would look.
38:08Okay. Like it. Erickson, who is your quarterback to buy or sell?
38:12I'm going with Trevor Lawrence as my quarterback to buy.
38:14So he is currently the QB three overall. He's only QB nine in points per game, but this schedule that the Jaguars
38:20have faced to start the year has been tough.
38:23It was something that I noticed when I was doing a lot of my Jaguars previewing.
38:27One of my favorite MVP bets, worm, you know, this was Trevor Lawrence at 24 to one to win the MVP.
38:33And I acknowledge that this might be a buyback opportunity with Trevor Lawrence where to start the year, maybe it's a little
38:39lukewarm in terms of his production because it's tougher.
38:42However, the rest of the schedule, according to the fantasy pro strength and schedule tool, number one for fantasy quarterbacks is Trevor Lawrence.
38:48So the fact that he's on a buy, I know he's coming off obviously a monster game against the Houston Texans.
38:54Again, just like just further supporting that Trevor Lawrence is someone you want to be invested in.
38:58You want Jaguars pass catchers on your fantasy football team.
39:01So even though he is coming off a big game, the fact that a lot of people don't like to trade quarterbacks.
39:07They don't really feel like there's a market for quarterbacks.
39:10I think that the iron is hot right now to strike a deal to get T law on your team.
39:15I think that he can be one of these players that he just is one of the engines to your offense or
39:21to your fantasy team for a playoff type of championship run like he was last year, right?
39:26It was after week five or week six last season when he came to took off and outscored every other player in fantasy.
39:32And I think that he has all of the ingredients to do that yet again.
39:36And so for me, he is a screaming buy and the guy that I think you can get the deal done with.
39:42You take your Brock Purdy and you go get Trevor Lawrence.
39:45I think Trevor Lawrence is a good call. The only concern I would have is, you know, if his manager is again,
39:51like coming off of a QB one performance, you know, just kind of gets becomes unwilling to sell the schedule is amazing from here on out.
39:58Uh, I mean, I think the toughest defense that he has left the entire season, it's probably Houston who he was just QB one against this week.
40:06Like it is. He gets the giants, he gets the bears, he gets the Cowboys.
40:10Like there is just a lot of real, the Colts are his next game.
40:14Like it is a really friendly schedule for him.
40:16Um, I totally agree. It's just, he's just ranked pretty highly already, but you know, who's ranked higher is Brock Purdy, right?
40:22And they're at consensus rest season rankings. Trevor Lawrence is QB five pretty QB three.
40:26I think selling pretty makes a lot of sense, obviously with the quarterback injuries there too.
40:31So yeah, I mean, I'm, I'm on board with this.
40:33And let me ask you this because you said Purdy who's QB three QB four is Drake may.
40:38Who would you rather have rest of season in fantasy?
40:41Drake may or Trevor Lawrence. Can't put that. Can't put that on me.
40:45I am putting it on you. I mean, I don't have Drake may anywhere cause I just drafted Trevor Lawrence.
40:50So this isn't a real life problem that I have to deal with.
40:54So well, Drake may also has a really, really good schedule as we'll talk about on the wide receivers to buy and sell show.
41:00So I think that I'll shoot it to you now.
41:03Lamar Jackson, do you just kind of wipe your hands clean?
41:06Like, I don't feel like dealing with whether he's healthy or not.
41:09Don't, I don't want to deal with it. I know Trevor Lawrence is healthy.
41:13I know he's balling and I'm just going to wipe.
41:16Cause that's a deal that I don't think that maybe the manager hesitates like, well, Lamar's banged up, but oh, it's Lamar Jackson.
41:22So what about that? Yeah. That, that touche. Cause I didn't expect you to turn it around on me.
41:27So I'm, I'm taking it back by this. Um, I actually think that's a fantastic question and I, and I think I might say Trevor Lawrence.
41:34I still think obviously Lamar is the better quarterback in my opinion, but I can't shake what we saw last year where
41:40when he finally came back, it was clear. He wasn't the same guy.
41:44This, this ankle injury has had a real sense of mystery around it.
41:48Now it wouldn't surprise me if we, if he just practices in full all week and they're like, Hey, we were just
41:54waiting until he was a hundred percent. And now he's bad.
41:57Like that could totally happen. And Lamar has been incredible, obviously in the Steckland Doyle offense.
42:01And maybe I come to regret this decision, but I think I would, it Trevor Lawrence feels less risky to me.
42:07I mean, Lamar has a better ceiling because he has a better ceiling than pretty much any quarterback in the world, not named Josh Allen.
42:14But I mean, Trevor Lawrence's ceiling is also quite high and just feels a little bit less risky.
42:18I think what I would want to do is see if I could get another piece back.
42:23Like, all right, if I'm going to sell a guy with the name of it, Brett Valley of Lamar Jackson, give me Trevor Lawrence and like Jordan Mason.
42:31Could you do that? Maybe that's too much, you know, something like that.
42:34Just some sort of a swing later on at the running back or receiver position.
42:38But I think I would, I think I would tear down.
42:41I wouldn't, I wouldn't do a one for one swap.
42:44I don't think I could quite get that far, but I think I would look, I would be happy to tear down
42:50to Trevor Lawrence if that's doable, which I don't know.
42:53Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. Good question. Yeah, that's a tough one.
42:56I don't like, I didn't like that when you did it to me.
43:00I like doing that to you. I mean, you came at me with my boy, Drake May.
43:05I know. Let's go. Let's do some quick buy seller hold trios here amongst the running backs.
43:09Running back was tough for me this week to come up with these quite honestly, especially not hitting on names that I
43:15feel like we've already talked about a bunch on the show.
43:18So I just did three guys that were ranked right around that RB10 mark.
43:22And I'm not really based on like, oh, I saw their market value is this.
43:26And I'm curious what Erickson is going to think more.
43:29Just like these guys are all kind of clumped together in my opinion.
43:33So who do you like best? And not again, it's not a ranking, but who are you buying?
43:38Who are you selling? Who are you holding? Kyron Williams, Javante Williams, Ashton Gentry.
43:41They are back to back to back in ECR at eight, nine and 10.
43:45Kyron Williams, Javante Williams, Ashton Gentry. Who are you buying?
43:48Who are you selling? Who are you holding? So Gentry was a buy for me a couple of weeks ago because of the underwhelming performances from him.
43:55But when I pair him against these other three running backs, I would rather have those guys than Ashton Gentry.
44:01And I think Gentry still, again, there are buyers for Ashton Gentry.
44:04I, again, maybe I'm a sucker because I was one of them and I wanted to buy Ashton Gentry, but the lack
44:10of rushing efficiency continues to thwart his fantasy production.
44:13Although his receiving has been really good. Mike Washington continues to look explosive and kind of look like a guy that can play in this league.
44:20So I think that Gentry in a vacuum is still a buy for running back needy teams.
44:24But I mean, I'm keeping Kyron and I'd rather buy like Javante Williams.
44:28I'd rather buy Kyron Williams rather buy Javante Williams because these guys play on super high powered offenses.
44:33Javante has the ideal workload similar to an Ashton Gentry, but he actually scores touchdowns, which Ashton Gentry has not.
44:38So far, Ashton Gentry had his first rushing touchdown last week and he still averaged under three yards per carry.
44:44So I think for me, it would be probably buying Kyron because I think he's coming off a bad game.
44:49Maybe you can get him for a little bit cheaper.
44:52Probably hold Javante and then probably sell Gentry. I didn't expect to say this when I put this together.
44:57I think I might sell Javante. I've often been on the train of, you know, people say, oh, he needs the touchdowns to be an effective fantasy player.
45:05I don't care. He's going to keep getting the touchdowns, right?
45:08This is a good offense. He's their only option.
45:10Like, who cares? He doesn't have a hundred yard rushing game this season.
45:14I don't care. He's going to keep getting touchdowns.
45:16So I generally quite like having Javante on my roster.
45:19The schedule is not great. And there are some matchups in there that are good, of course.
45:24There's still a lot of the season left. But like San Francisco's on there.
45:27Seattle's on there. The Rams are on there. And they might be a lot better by that point in the season.
45:33He has a late bye. So if you need to win late, like you might not have him in week 14, which I don't like.
45:40A couple of Philly games. Like that defense still is really talented, even though Philly's kind of falling apart.
45:45So it's Jacksonville in week 16, the semifinals of your fantasy playoffs, like one of the toughest rushing matches.
45:50So like, I wonder if you find somebody who does say, hey, I believe in Javante to keep getting all these touchdowns.
45:56If maybe he is actually the correct sell. I'm holding Kyron.
45:59Like you can't, you can't pry him from my cold dead fingers.
46:03Kyron Williams, which leaves Gentie as the bye, which I actually don't hate.
46:06I would rank him third of these three. So again, that sort of emphasizes that this is not a ranking.
46:12This is a market sort of playing it out.
46:14I just, I'm such a believer in Clint Kubiak.
46:17And I feel like Gentie, like there's a world where Gentie figures it out and becomes one of the better running backs
46:23to have in fantasy the rest of the season.
46:25I don't know that it's worth betting on, but if he's valued at least of these three guys, because they're all three
46:31really good, then maybe you can get him the cheapest.
46:34Then I think I'd probably buy him, sell Javante, hold Kyron.
46:37Warren, you're so smart, dude. Because when we do these things, because you have the more of the mental prep, because you
46:43know exactly how you're going to combat my answer.
46:45So I'm not smart. I'm just prepared. Which is always wrong with these, because I always change my mind after I hear
46:51what you have to say about Gentie maybe being more of this ascending piece.
46:55And again, again, I talked about him as a bye a couple of weeks ago.
46:59I think it was last week. And although it's still kind of been lackluster, I think that the touchdown deodorant with Javante
47:05Williams, there's a chance that that does go sour at some point.
47:09And he's not scoring as many touchdowns if the schedule gets tougher to your point.
47:13I think those are astute points that you make.
47:15And maybe the deal you make is you do Javante for Ashton Gentie plus a piece.
47:20You get Blake Corma thrown in, you get Jordan Mason thrown in.
47:23So it's like, right, I'm taking my inefficient running back for your inefficient running back that doesn't score touchdowns, but I'm betting
47:29on this offense, turning it around in the second half.
47:32And to make a good point about comparing it to a different situation, you know what running backs were horrible last year to start the season?
47:39Bears running backs with Ben Johnson. They were terrible.
47:41I remember sell DeAndre Swift. This guy can't do anything.
47:44He's so inefficient. And then they just want an absolute run because they finally kind of like bought into the Ben Johnson run game.
47:51And it took a couple of weeks to kind of really get going.
47:54But then those guys were off to the race.
47:57And we saw Manunga and DeAndre Swift be super productive to end the season.
48:00So that wouldn't shock me if we see something with like that from Ashton Gentie, who we also know has kind of been banged up, right?
48:07Been bailing with his ankle injury. So I agree.
48:10I'm not backing down on buying Ashton Gentie. And I guess Javante would be the guy that would be first to go.
48:16One more trio here, Erickson. Kyle Manunga, Josh Jacobs.
48:18Obviously, some news there with the commissioners exemplus. And Cam Scadaboo, who's coming off a zero-touch game.
48:23And obviously, Manunga didn't play recently. So three kind of really interesting guys.
48:27None of these three guys touched a football in week six, is what I'll say here.
48:31But all for three completely different reasons. So who are you buying?
48:34Who are you selling? Who are you holding here?
48:37You know, I'm really interested that you didn't do the trio of injured running backs.
48:41Jeremiah Love, Saquon Barkley, and Brees Hall. I was expecting that to be one of the trios.
48:46Be like, right, Erickson. You know what's funny? I didn't think about that.
48:49I totally would have if I thought about it.
48:52Because when I looked at each of those names individually and thinking about other trios, I go, oh, I can't include them because they're injured.
48:58But putting them all together would have been fun.
49:01That's a miss by me. That's a good idea.
49:03You could have literally just been all the injured guys.
49:06Because I was ready for that one. Because I was like, oh, Worm is going to be devious here.
49:11And he's going to put on three injured running backs.
49:14Like, right. What are you doing with these three guys?
49:17Because I know, I mean, people are pulling their hair out trying to figure out when Brees Hall is coming back, does Saquon have any value?
49:24And Jeremiah Love, the saga continues in Arizona with whatever he's doing.
49:27But that's not the trail you pick. So we could do something a little more easy.
49:31So Monongai, Jacobs, and Cam Scadaboo. I think Cam Scadaboo is going to be a hold for me.
49:36I would expect his touches to increase next week.
49:39That being said, there's still an openness by this team to use for running backs.
49:43So I know the hard buzz been very vocal about, I just want some guy to step up.
49:48It's no debate in my mind who the best running back on this team actually is.
49:52And it's Cam Scadaboo. If anyone's actually going to be the RB1 for the Giants, it's going to be Cam Scadaboo or nobody.
49:59Right? So I would hold him because it's, I would not trade him right now because he's going to get more involved next week.
50:05The way that he phrased it, the way that some of the Giants beat reporters are talking about, this really was a
50:11one game thing to teach Cam Scadaboo a lesson.
50:14And he's going to see, not back to his normal workload, but at least playing time.
50:18Because he's so much better than all these other running backs.
50:21And so I'll hold Cam Scadaboo. Josh Jacobs, I think is probably the, I guess he's kind of like the sell high, honestly.
50:27Because he's now RB20 in the rest of the season rankings.
50:30The coach speak around him has been really positive.
50:33But like, yeah, he's going to go back to like full blown Josh Jacobs workload.
50:37That's kind of what I expect. But he's also like a ticking time bomb where he can come back for one game
50:43and then the NFL decides, oh, you know, we're going to suspend him for the rest of the season.
50:48So this is a total like flip based on hype type of move with Jacobs.
50:52And I think right now you'd actually get the most for him versus the other guys.
50:57And then Manungai would probably be the bye because he's hurt right now.
51:00But when he does actually produce in this offense, we know he can be an absolute monster alongside DeAndre Swift.
51:06So that's how I view it. I don't know if you view it differently.
51:09I actually view it exactly the same. I don't really have anything to add.
51:13We're on the same page as this. So I guess it wasn't that challenging of one then because I don't want to try to change your mind.
51:21I totally agree across the board here. So we'll just go ahead and wrap things up there.
