Aaron Rodgers

NegativeProjection22:07

Aaron Rodgers has shifted his playstyle over the last two games, adopting a high-ADOT, high-volatility approach similar to Jameis Winston. While his catchable throw rate is low, this 'YOLO' style creates more explosive opportunities for his receivers compared to the previous dink-and-dunk scheme.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection5:25

CJ Stroud is a strong start for Week 5 due to Houston's high red-zone passing rate and the team's inability to run the ball. Tennessee's defense struggles against the pass, allowing the 10th highest yards per attempt and 12th highest passing success rate, while also ranking fifth-lowest in pressure rate, giving Stroud a clean pocket.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveValue12:26

Denzel Boston is significantly undervalued as the WR20 in fantasy points per game despite being ranked around WR30-31 in ECR. He ranks 17th in separation, 17th in yards per route run, and 7th in route win rate among 77 qualifiers. He is particularly effective against two-high coverage, posting a 21% target per route run rate and 4.47 yards per route run.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveValue27:08

Mark Andrews is a strong start for Week 5 despite being ranked as the TE13 in ECR. He ranks fourth in target share, 12th in yards per route run, and fifth in first-read share among qualifying tight ends. His rapport with Snoop Huntley and a favorable matchup against a defense that allows high production to tight ends suggest he could finish as a top-tier TE1.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveUsage21:05

Roman Wilson is seeing heavy involvement in the Steelers' offense, ranking top five in designed targets and deep targets, while sitting 13th in air yards. He is expected to maintain a full-time role, playing in both two-wide and three-wide sets, and benefits from Aaron Rodgers' recent 'YOLO' approach which has increased the team's explosive play potential.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout30:40

Roman Wilson is a strong WR3 play with WR2 upside following the news that Michael Pittman Jr. is out. Wilson has been productive over the last two weeks (60 and 74 yards), ranking as a top-24 receiver in both. He has an 18% target share and 3.83 yards per route run, and faces a defense allowing the second-most yards per target to slot receivers.

Insight page

Tank Dell

NegativeInjury25:56

Tank Dell is not expected to return for Week 5, and even if he were to play, he would likely only see a handful of snaps. He is viewed as a perimeter receiver, meaning Jalen Null likely retains a safer long-term role in the offense.

0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. All right, and welcome into the FantasyPros - Fantasy Football Podcast.
0:06We've got everything from international games to backup quarterback play affecting the NFL Week 5 slate.
0:11So that means we have booby traps at large and we'll do our best Goonies impression on this episode to make sure
0:17you avoid them all on your next treasure hunt to victory.
0:21That's right, it's the Primer and we've got the must-start players coming your way.
0:25I'm your host Seth Wilcox and back with me is the Sloth to my chunk.
0:30Cue the truffle shuffle. He's Derek Brown. D-Bro, how are you to re-prepare for yet another adventure that is the NFL season?
0:37Low-key, the cast of Goonies was also amazing, dude.
0:40Yes. Like, Josh Brolin was in it. I mean, Sean Astin.
0:43Like, there's so many, like, people. When you go back and you look at that cast listing, you're like, oh, this was loaded.
0:50This was a loaded movie. Corey Feldman might have sold the whole show.
0:54Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, this was a loaded movie. I'm like, okay, like, more respect.
0:59More respect. Yeah, and it just feels like it really does, you know, come into play this week as, you know, there
1:06are a lot of landmines out here, right? There are a lot of things that could go wrong, whether that's, you know,
1:12playing some wide receivers who don't have their usual quarterback at play, whether it's, you know, firing up these second, third string
1:19running backs that are in the mix or, you know, just all these international and, you know, home underdog type games.
1:26It's a very, very interesting slate, man. Yeah. I mean, you know, we, we're not going to talk about him today, but
1:33like another player that like could be stepping on a rake for a lot of fantasy GMs is like, okay, we'll ship.
1:40Hopefully people are going to see more Damian Pierce than they want to see this week.
1:45I might not be good. So yeah, but we're going to, we're going to get to, we're not talking about any running
1:51backs because running back is such a wasteland and a mess this week.
1:55Oh yeah. That there's really like the obvious guys are the obvious guys.
1:59Even the borderline guys are the obvious guys. So they're being ranked high.
2:04There's a ton of injuries and everything in between.
2:06So like, but with saying all of this, Seth, we got a ton of teams deal with injuries.
2:12Who's going to play with the Vikings passing attack.
2:15Who's going to play for the commanders passing attack.
2:18So there are some deep polls and we're going to talk about wide receivers, quarterbacks, and tight ends on this show.
2:24So we're hopefully helping people fill out a lot of flex spots and maybe some wide receiver two and three spots, considering
2:31all the injuries people are dealing with. Yeah, I absolutely agree, man.
2:35We're going deep. We're uncovering the fireplace and going into the holes and going into the trenches here.
2:40And hopefully we come out on the other side and we can save our town and save our season.
2:46You are really carrying this Goonies metaphor. The analogy is that they write themselves, man.
2:51You are dedicated. You are dedicated to the bit, sir.
2:54I think it's that time. I think Goonies was also set in like the fall.
2:59So I just got the Goonie vibes. You know what I mean?
3:03Maybe Sunday night football. Sometimes I throw a movie on the second screen, right?
3:07And maybe this weekend. Hocus Pocus is always usually a good one this time of year, but Goonies might just hit this weekend even better.
3:15Derek, let's go to the quarterback position where we have seen just a rejuination for a former second overall pick who kind
3:22of have to playing out of his mind right now.
3:25Yeah. CJ Stroud looks like he might be back.
3:27Seth, I played well and I know it was versus the Cowboys and stuff like that, but his per drop at metrics
3:34were looking at more encouraging to begin the season.
3:37I love CJ Stroud. It's a combination of the matchup this week as well as the fact that Houston is passing at
3:44the sixth highest rate in the red zone right now.
3:47So CJ Stroud, can he get two? Can he get three passing touchdowns?
3:51I mean, also when you add on top of this, Houston, we know that they cannot run the ball.
3:57Their offensive line has been bad. They're not giving their running backs any room to run.
4:02So high passing rate inside the 20, can't run, gonna lead on Stroud.
4:06The matchup also lends itself to that because if Tennessee has been doing anything, they're much better at stopping the run versus
4:13the pass and quarterbacks allowing the 10th highest shards per attempt, 12th highest passing success rate.
4:18And the other thing about Stroud that we know over time and time and time again, Seth, is he does not like to be pressured.
4:26He wants a clean pocket to throw from. Yeah.
4:29It massively makes a difference for him as it does a lot of the quarterbacks as well.
4:34And I'm not saying that doesn't matter, but the big takeaway here too is not only are the Tennessee Titans bad on
4:41the secondary, they also can't rush the passer. Seth, fifth lowest pressure rate.
4:45So CJ Stroud is going to have time to throw.
4:48So Houston wants to throw near the goal line.
4:51This all sets up. It feels like a perfect storm for CJ Stroud to have another QB one week.
4:57Yeah. And I know sometimes as fancy managers, we're getting upset with like what Nick Cayley is doing as far as deployment of certain players.
5:04I can't talk about that, man. Nope. Can't do it.
5:08That being said though, and maybe I would love your opinion.
5:11Do you think it's more his offense or do you think it's more that the Texans defense has just regressed so much
5:18that we're seeing like CJ Stroud right now in team pass play.
5:22He's per game. 43, six most in the NFL.
5:24You look at pace of play. They're also six in that as well.
5:29And they're throwing it deep. He's second in deep ball attempts.
5:32Do you think that's more of a product of the offensive environment that has shown itself here down in Houston?
5:38Or do you think it's more just that defense is not playing up to standard and CJ Stroud having to come from behind a lot?
5:46There's a lot to chew on there. I think the high level takeaways are they can't run the ball.
5:52So trying to impose your will when you have the offensive line that they have and the archetype of running backs that
5:59they have because David Montgomery needs a little bit of a runway.
6:03Like he's got to get momentum build up in the second level is really where he makes defenders pay.
6:08But he's getting hit out of the line of scrimmage like at or behind the line of scrimmage over 50% of his freaking runs.
6:16Like it's a top five clip right now. So I think you look at what the offense can't do also with what
6:23they are doing and they're leaning into the past.
6:26I think one it's because CJ Stroud is playing better football this year like that that that is a fact.
6:32He is playing better football. But also when you look at this if you're going to run at a fast pace by
6:39doing that and running hurry up and running faster what you're allowing is less defensive substitutions and less things where the defense
6:46on the other side can sub players in and out can get kind of wonky with coverages and stuff like that.
6:52So really it also for CJ Stroud can kind of break things down and make it a little bit less complicated than
6:59if you're taking the full 30 you know if you're taking all the time before every play and running things slow.
7:06Yeah great point there. And if Houston and the Tennessee Titans does not you know tickle your fancy this weekend.
7:12How about a matchup between the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets.
7:16What do you have at the wide receiver position Derek.
7:19I love how you set that up because people are supposed to feel encouraged and then you're like Browns versus Jets and everybody's like ooh.
7:26Yeah immediately because that was better than it has been in years past like this would be a matchup a year or
7:33two ago that's like unwatchable at least like there's some fun players on both these teams now.
7:39At least we don't have to watch Zach Wilson throw the ball.
7:42So there's that but to the Denzel Boston of it all.
7:46I'm not cheating because right now as a recording time he's wide receiver 30 31 depending on what you're looking at an ECR.
7:53So in our in the qualifications for us doing this video Seth.
7:57But I don't think that people realize Denzel Boston is the wide receiver 20 in fantasy points per game.
8:03I really don't. As well as realizing that among 77 qualifying wide receivers Seth Denzel Boston who wasn't a first round wide receiver was too slow.
8:11Couldn't separate was really overrated for what I was told coming into the NFL.
8:15Denzel Boston 77 qualifying wide receivers Denzel Boston is 17th in separation and yards per route run and seventh best in route win rate.
8:23Hmm feels like he's too slow feels like he's overrated feels like he's definitely a second round receiver maybe a third or fourth round receiver.
8:30Who knew Seth but he's really freaking good at football man.
8:34And then when you look at the coverage stuff Jets have been running at the fifth highest rate of too high 62
8:41percent of the defensive snaps versus too high Denzel Boston 21 percent target per route run rate.
8:46A very strong dare I say elite 4.47 yards per route run versus too high.
8:51I think Denzel Boston is going to get it done yet again this week.
8:55Yeah Brandon Stevens is a cornerback that I love to see opposing teams pick on.
9:00Yeah even like he even revived Roma Doomsday last week right six for 94 and Rome was very close to scoring an additional touchdown on the day.
9:08And I would say Denzel Boston with him ranking top 10 in the NFL in both air yard share and a dot
9:15as a whole you're looking for the big play right.
9:18You're looking for the high value touches down the sideline and you're thinking maybe we get that here in this one.
9:25Look I think that this is one of those games where the Cleveland Browns do win this game.
9:30But I think if the Jets can continue to push them if Geno Smith can continue to look good and we don't
9:37have any weather in play up there in the Big Apple we could see you know some back and forth action from Cleveland and the Jets.
9:45Let's go overseas Derek where you're taking us to London.
9:48Any London adventure movies like National Treasure 2 I could think of like National Treasure 2 I know they're ripping around there.
9:55That's probably my favorite. You got it. You got a favorite one.
9:59English. When I am up at 2 or 3 a.m.
10:02finishing the primer and other research and stuff and I'm just standing in the kitchen like okay I don't need to do
10:09it but I'm going to eat a snack before I go to bed.
10:13And you just turn on one of those movies where you can just kind of zone out.
10:18You just like and a lot of my weakness du jour for that Seth is action movies.
10:24London has fallen. Oh okay. Yeah. Okay. I go down that rabbit hole.
10:28I can't say I'm proud of it. I'm not going to stay.
10:31I'm not going to stay on the set of us.
10:35There are certainly better movies but there are worse movies as well.
10:38I'm not going to tell you that it's a good movie.
10:42I'm not saying that. Yeah. But what I will say is you just want something to just you know just turn on and you're like oh okay.
10:50It's like playing Call of Duty but I'm just watching it.
10:54Okay. Fine. It sounds like the Eagles kind of sounds like the Eagles offense as a whole this year.
11:00Oh man. Yeah. It's been rough but I am going to tell people that I think Dontavian Wicks is a really solid
11:06flex out of all this in London this week.
11:09So he had the down game last week when everybody was like oh Wicks is wide receiver one in the offense.
11:16And I was like man I want to believe it.
11:19I think he could do he could do things because he's been awesome this year on a per route basis separation route win rate and stuff.
11:27Problem of it all is that Dontavian Wicks saw Trent McDuffie on 52% of his routes last week.
11:33And against Trent McDuffie Dontavian Wicks one target seven receiving yards.
11:36So McDuffie got the best of him. Now you look at this week much better setup for Dontavian Wicks.
11:42And I'm not saying that the Jags are a pushover pass defense.
11:46Far from it. But you look at over the last the three previous games before Wicks tangle with McDuffie 17% target share
11:532.29 yards per route run 23% first reach here.
11:55All of those are really strong to really damn good metrics.
11:59You look at the three three of the four games the Jags have played this year Seth.
12:04They've utilized too high at 56.7 to 56.9% of the defensive snaps.
12:08Why does this matter? Because Dontavian Wicks has been very good against too high.
12:1218% target per route run rate 2.31 yards per route run.
12:16You look at the Jags defense as well like they have been stingy and giving up touchdowns is very much been but do not break there.
12:24But okay fine if Wicks doesn't score a touchdown but he gets like six catches for 80 yards you're still happy with 14 PPR points.
12:32So again that's totally fine. I'm not saying he's going to get into the end zone but people need to understand versus perimeter wide receivers.
12:39This defense is giving up the 10th most yards per target to the position.
12:44So Wicks could pile up some yardage and if he does get into the end zone he's going to have a very
12:51good day in a bounce back spot where he let a lot of people down last week.
12:56And then all the stink of everything around the Eagles and all that kind of stuff.
13:01People say Jalen Hurts sucks and stuff. I'm not saying he's playing good football right now.
13:06I think he could play better this week considering last week's defense versus what he's facing this week.
13:12By Monday night the advice is in, your lineups are locked, and all you can do is watch.
13:17Maybe you're protecting a one point lead. Maybe you need 12 out of your flex.
13:22Or maybe your opponent has one kicker left and now every field goal attempt feels personal.
13:27Make one part of the night perfect. Get DiGiorno pizza ready for kickoff.
13:31Then settle in, enjoy restaurant quality pizza from your own oven, and stay locked into the matchup through the final snap.
13:37You don't want to step away when one target, one touchdown, or one unnecessary point can decide your week.
13:43Buy DiGiorno pizza on the weekend run so you at least know Monday night dinner is covered.
13:49Rankings can guide you, waivers can save you, but once the game starts, fantasy brings the chaos.
13:54Dinner doesn't have to. It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno.
13:57You've probably seen athletes using those inflatable compression boots after games.
14:00Those are Normatec from Hyperice. The massage gun everyone's carrying?
14:03That's Hypervolt. The heated vibration wraps for sore knees, backs, and shoulders?
14:07That's venom. Together, they help athletes and active people recover, move better, and get ready for what's next.

14:24The new NFL season is here, and you should be listening to NFL Daily as we march along to Super Bowl 61.
14:30Last year, we had Mike McDonald, Sam Darnold on the field after the game, but that was last year.
14:36If you're a football sicko like me, NFL Daily is your kind of show.
14:41It is in the name. NFL Daily. Fresh content in your feed every day, all season long.
14:46Matthew Stafford coming off his MVP season. On a dazzling dart from Matthew Stafford.
14:50Big time trades that shake up the NFL. A.J.
14:53Brown is loose. And of course, those Seahawks trying to run it back and win another Lombardi trophy.
14:59The Seahawks win Super Bowl 60. They are bringing the Lombardi back to the Northwest.
15:04If it's happening on a football field, NFL Daily will cover it.
15:07Listen to NFL Daily on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
15:12It just feels like right now, like we have lost all the main characters out of this Eagles defense or offense, right?
15:19I mean, no Saquon. Hank Bigsby, we'd love to fire him up, but he's on the shelf now as well.
15:25Devonta Smith, as you mentioned, banged up. And like, we really haven't seen the ascension from Makai Lemon that we thought we were maybe going to get.
15:34Dallas Goddard remains out. Yeah, yeah. Well, I think people in general thought.
15:38You know I was a Lemon hater during draft process.
15:41I was more of an Eli Stowers guy myself, if I'm being frank.
15:45You know I was a Lemon hater. People call me a Lemon hater because I had Denzel Boston above him in rookie rankings.
15:52That is true. As I look in right now.
15:55Derek, can you guess the one X wide receiver against this Jacksonville team that has not hit double-digit PPR points?
16:01No. Courtland Sutton, three for 25. And that was the same game, though, that Jalen Wall did go for eight for 138, right?
16:08So we've seen it, whether it's Denzel Boston week one, whether it's Tee Higgins last week going off once Jamar Chase went down.
16:16Or whether it's just, oh, I don't know, guys like Mack Hollins taking him six for 87.
16:21We've seen this team be a bit susceptible. I am liking the improvement we've seen out of Travis Hunter at cornerback.
16:27But he is likely not going to be the one who is on Wix here to start this game.
16:33So I don't hate the play over there in London.
16:36Make sure you guys are getting Wix into your lineup early again.
16:409.30 a.m. Eastern time game there. Use the Fantasy Pro's autopilot tool to help you.

17:00So get started at fantasypros.com slash start-sit. And Derek, you and me, and I think maybe the entire fantasy football community has
17:07had to come around to a player that, through his first two seasons in the NFL, looked like he was going to be a gigantic day-two bust.
17:15But he has been anything but that in year number three.
17:19And, oh yeah, Michael Pittman Jr. out for the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.
17:23Just came across a timeline. So what do you have happening out there in the Steel City?
17:28Uh, who knew? Who knew Michael Pittman Jr. was going to be out?
17:32Did you see this hit the timeline yesterday? What I'm probably going to talk about?
17:37The fact that he was on a scooter yesterday in the locker room.
17:41No. And then, oh, okay. Well, I'll just catch everybody up here if they're not aware.
17:46So yesterday- What were we talking? A Razor scooter?
17:49Are we talking like a- No, like a scooter.
17:52Like his foot is propped up. Oh, wow. Okay.
17:54Dude can't put foot weight. Dude was non-weight bearing on his foot.
17:58Okay, so definitely not Razor. So he's scooting around the locker room, non-weight bearing on his foot, doesn't even have a freaking shoe on his foot.
18:06And then the Steelers go out and list him as a limited practice participant for Wednesday.
18:11And I'm like, are we serious? Did we lose the plot?
18:15Like, are you freaking serious? You hate injury reports, man.
18:18He's- I hate goofiness and idiocy. Like, is anybody dumb enough to think that he's going to go out there and practice
18:25when dude is on a scooter and cannot bear weight on one of his feet and he's already been ruled out?
18:31I guess that limited practice just took it all out of him, Seth.
18:35Or maybe it never happened. Anyway, I digress. But this leads me to Roman Wilson, baby.
18:40I love Roman Wilson this week. And this isn't just, like, box score chasing.
18:45Over the last two weeks, he has had 60 and then 74 receiving yards.
18:49He's been awesome. Top 24 receiver in both those weeks and weekly scoring.
18:53And the big thing is he's getting more usage in this offense.
18:57So Michael Pittman Jr., either not a part of the offense or now he's out, is going to bump that up even more for Roman Wilson.
19:05Like, 18% target share over the last two weeks, 3.83 yards per wrap run, Seth.
19:10And now he goes against a defense that's giving up the second most yards per target to slot receivers.
19:16So Roman Wilson is at wide receiver 51 at the time of us recording this.
19:20I know when injuries all kind of shift around, he's going to be probably inside the top 45, maybe the top 40 in rankings.
19:28But I think he is a very strong wide receiver three play that could produce, again, as a wide receiver two this week.
19:35And the other thing about it is he's probably out there on a ton of waiver wires right now, Seth.
19:41Because I even went in some of my leagues this morning and last night before recording this and picked him up after waivers ran.
19:49Yeah. The return of the Roman Empire has just been awesome this year, dude.
19:53I'll tell you that. It's well done. It's to the point where I'm kicking myself because I had him in a couple of dynasty leagues.
20:01I drafted him as a second, third round pick a few years ago in rookie drafts.
20:06And I just kind of gave up. Right. And but how could you not?
20:10Arthur Smith said, no, he shut this dude into a corner.
20:14Yeah. Yeah. He couldn't play like he was a scrub.
20:17Like, yeah, to get my tight end for some snaps here, bro.
20:20Sorry, you're not getting on the field this week.
20:23This is not the right form for this. But Arthur Smith all of a sudden is like using his best players at
20:30Ohio State, where he's just feeding Jeremiah Smith to give him the highs.
20:34And I'm like, wow, I wish you would have done this in the NFL.
20:39Right. Instead of running out Johnny Smith and the works.
20:42Yeah. Drake London. They're like, hey, man, what's up with that?
20:45I mean, not that we didn't get paid, but still.
20:48Exactly. Yeah. And I think the interesting thing about the Steelers team is they're a lot worse defensively than I think a
20:55lot of people give them credit for. Like Steelers right now are throwing at a top five pace in the NFL.
21:02They right now, 43.3 passing yard or passing plays per game.
21:05That's the fifth most in the NFL. And Roman Wilson taking advantage.
21:09Not only is this a guy right now who is ranking top five in design targets, but deep targets.
21:15He's six in the NFL and he's also 13th in air yard.
21:19So we are getting it looked his way right now heavily by Aaron Rodgers.
21:23Do you think the absence of Michael Pittman Jr.
21:26And maybe pushing him more into two wide receiver sets only helps here?
21:30It seems like Derek, or do you think maybe with Jeremy Bernard coming in and taking some of that slot production now actually hurt him this week?
21:38I think he'll probably run in two wide receiver sets.
21:41It's a good point. I think the big takeaway and I think what you're getting at right now is I don't think
21:48Roman Wilson is coming off the field for anybody.
21:51Like he'll play in two wide receiver sets. When they go three wide, he'll probably go into the slot.
21:57Like they'll put somebody else on the outside. So I don't think he's going to lose snaps depending on where he's aligned
22:04and how they want to run it this week.
22:07The other thing that we didn't bring up at the top of this, and I'm not going to say that Aaron Rodgers is a good quarterback choice.
22:15But the thing I do want to tell people is he Aaron Rodgers over the last two games has morphed into Aaron Winston.
22:22He is doing his best Jameis Winston impersonation. His ADOT is through the roof.
22:27His default rate is top five. His catchable throw rate is low.
22:30But he's just like dropping back and he's like, Rome, you down there somewhere.
22:35DK, you down there somewhere. And he's tossing it up.
22:38So like that YOLO nature, the reason I bring it up, that YOLO nature is good because we can get more explosive
22:45plays out of Roman Wilson in this offense than like, okay, last year's version of Aaron Rodgers where it was dink and dunk.
22:52Dink and dunk five yard ADOT, you know what I mean?
22:55Yeah, I've watched a lot of post Packers Aaron Rodgers because I was a kind of a closeted Jets fan for a minute.
23:02And then, of course, I've seen him in Pittsburgh over the last year and a quarter.
23:07Last week against the Browns, that was maybe one of the best I've seen Aaron Rodgers play since he tore that Achilles.
23:14So it's exciting to see him back, especially here against a Colt secondary that, I mean, you can spend all the first
23:21round picks to trade for Sauce Gordon. You can spend all the money to bring in Cam Bynum in the offseason.
23:28It has not fixed this secondary whatsoever. We have some GMs and coaches on the hot seat across the NFL, maybe none
23:35hotter there out there in the Midwestern part of the country in Indianapolis.
23:39Derek, take us to another AFC matchup here that feels a bit stinky, but you already wanted to get invested with CJ Stroud.
23:46So it makes sense that maybe you want to also go to the well with one of his wide receivers?
23:52Yes. So I want to be very careful and particular about how we frame this.
23:57OK, I'm not telling everybody in 10 team and 12 team leagues to start this, man.
24:02I think this is very much dependent upon what your options are.
24:05And again, a player that is still out there on almost every waiver wire, even sharp leagues, because I went and picked
24:12him up this morning and last night as well.
24:15OK, because I'm dealing like everybody else is dealing.
24:18So this is the therapy couch. I want to talk to all the fantasy managers that might be missing Terry McClure and
24:25Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, all these other different players.
24:28Malik neighbors now has knee soreness. Everybody that is hurt and battered and might be out this week.
24:33Jalen Null is out there, and I think he's flex worthy and could give you good production this week.
24:39There is a lot of volatility, and we're going to talk about it here real fast.
24:44One, the Nick Caley of all of this. And if anybody's heard his quotes on Null and the fact that he runs
24:51groupings and he doesn't just put his best players on the field, he just sounds like a guy trying to sound smarter
24:58than he is and trying to be the biggest, like smartest guy in the room.
25:03It's just idiocy. But if he does play Jalen Null this week and Jalen Null in two of four games this year
25:09has played above 55 percent of the snaps in the last two seasons, when he has played at least 33 percent of
25:16the snaps in both of those instances over two seasons in those games, Seth, Jalen Null has eclipsed 1.9 yards per route run in both of those.
25:25Last year, his pro route metrics in that small sample size were elite.
25:29This year, they are very strong with 1.97 yards per route run.
25:32He's incredibly productive when he is on the field.
25:35Like this year, he only has a 9.7 percent target share and a 13 percent for his read share last week.
25:42But when he's on the field due to 2.21 yards per route run and the matchup, Tennessee is giving up the third
25:49most yards per target to opposing slot wide receivers and the most fantasy points per opportunity to that position.
25:55Jalen Null could be a guy that like you pick up off the waiver wire and he gives you a strong wide
26:01receiver three, hell wide receiver two type of production this week.
26:05So I'm not saying that there's not volatility. There is risk.
26:08But that is all baked in because he's still out there on the freaking waiver wire.
26:13So if you're dealing with injuries and a battered roster, you're sitting at like you've won one game and now you're like,
26:20I don't even have enough healthy players to fill out a roster to start this week or for my wide receiver three
26:27or flex spot, pick him up and play him.
26:30Yeah, I think it's an interesting proposition, especially because last week, even with Nico Collins coming back, we actually saw a season
26:37high 62 percent of snaps with Jalen Null on the field right now.
26:41It feels like we're kind of finally starting to phase out guys like Jared Wayne and Xavier Hutchinson out of this wide receiver core.
26:48The one thing I think that the fantasy and the betting public will think is that we have Tank Dell coming back this week, right?
26:56He's not coming back this week. Okay, okay. I don't see him coming back this week.
27:01Okay. And if he does, he's taken what, a handful of snaps?
27:05Like a handful? I also think too, like the thing to keep in mind, I know Tank Dell is a slender guy.
27:12He is mostly a perimeter wide receiver, at least was when he was playing with the Texans a couple years ago.
27:18So I think Jalen Null has the safer, like long-term outlook here.
27:22Like I think if Tank Dell starts taking anyone off the field, maybe it's Kayshawn Booty a little bit, right?
27:28In two wide receiver sets and playing the flanker.
27:31Totally agree. Yeah, it's a gross game. It's a low total.
27:34It's not going to be necessarily a fun one to watch, but Jalen Null certainly on the radar this week for downtown Derek Brown.
27:42And Debro, we have another tight end that you got this week for us, and you're going back to the well, man.
27:49Yeah, well, I'm going back to the well because it provides.
27:52I mean, we talked about starting Mark Andrews with absolute confidence, and lo and behold, he was tight end eight last week.
27:59So we're going back to the well. Right now in ECR, he is tight end 13.
28:04On a per-route basis, Andrews has been awesome. The problem before last week, Seth, was that he hadn't scored any freaking touchdowns.
28:11And he finally got into the end zone, and what do we see?
28:15Okay, the production and the per-route efficiency led itself to a touchdown and a tight end one finish.
28:21He could do that again this week. Because if you look at, like, amongst 46 qualifying tight ends, Seth, Mark Andrews right
28:28now, he is fourth in target share, 12th in yards per route run, and fifth in first reach share.
28:33He's playing extremely good football. So when the touchdown variance hits back in his direction, which he did last week, I think
28:40he can again this week, against a defense, Seth, that gave up 15.6 PPR points to Pat Fryermuth, 18.3 PPR points to Darren Waller.
28:48Oh, and by the way, 11.9 PPR points to Juwan Johnson without scoring a touchdown.
28:52Yeah, Andrews could end up in that 15-16 range this week with a touchdown and be a very strong tight end one
28:59when he's not even being ranked as a top 12 option this week.
29:03Yeah, interesting. He has had hit or miss games over the last year without Lamar Jackson looking at the betting pros prop bet cheat sheet analyzer.
29:11That said, though, a lot of those games were with Cooper Cush, right?
29:16And thankfully, Snoop Huntley, I think, brings a little bit more familiarity.
29:19And for as long as Snoop's been around this organization, who's the one constant, Derek?
29:24It's been Mark Andrews, right? Like, I don't know if these guys are boys.
29:28I don't know if they're eating breakfast. I don't know if they're going out and hitting the range after a long day at the facility.
29:36But they've at least identified some establishment with each other and some rep rapport.
29:41So hopefully we see a big game from Mark Andrews here in week number five.
29:45And Derek, that's going to do it for us right here on the Fantasy Pros Fantasy Football Podcast.
