Player insights

29

Aaron Jones

NegativeUsage39:17

Aaron Jones is a sell candidate because his current workload is unsustainable and likely temporary until Jordan Mason returns from injury. Jones has struggled with efficiency and health, and the source suggests his high touch volume is merely a placeholder, making him a player to move before his usage inevitably declines.

Insight page
NegativeValue46:15

Aaron Jones is a sell-high candidate. His current workload is viewed as unsustainable, and the expected return of Jordan Mason makes Jones a prime candidate to move if the fantasy manager does not need immediate wins.

Insight page

Andy Dalton

NegativeUsage7:08

Andy Dalton was forced into the game at the goal line due to a medical check on Jalen Hurts and immediately threw an interception.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveSleeper47:41

Blake Corum is a buy for cheap. While he is an upside play who relies on an injury to Kyren Williams to reach his ceiling, he has shown standalone value and is considered a high-quality running back.

Insight page
PositiveValue52:35

Blake Corum is a recommended trade target to acquire in exchange for struggling players like Jadarian Price. While Corum is currently the RB2, he possesses significant contingent upside as a top-five fantasy producer if Kyren Williams were to miss time, and he has shown standalone value in previous weeks.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeValue43:10

Bryce Young is considered a backup option to Justin Herbert in rest-of-season rankings, though he recently underwent imaging for an injury.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeBust45:03

Bucky Irving is a sell. The Buccaneers' offense is the worst in the NFL in EPA per play, and Irving's snap share split with Kenneth Gainwell last week is concerning. With Baker Mayfield out and the offense struggling, there is little faith in the unit's productivity.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeProjection42:52

Caleb Williams was one of the source's most targeted quarterbacks, but his outlook is currently impacted by injury concerns.

Insight page

Case Keenum

PositiveUsage0:19

Case Keenum performed well in his start against the Eagles, with the source comparing his performance to Tom Cruise's character in Top Gun Maverick, noting he looked awesome and effectively roasted the opposing defense.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveValue25:26

Chase Brown is a 'buy medium' candidate. Despite a tough schedule to start the season, he has maintained solid usage with 13-20 carries per game and consistent target involvement. The source expects positive touchdown regression and improved performance as the schedule lightens.

Insight page
PositiveValue31:55

Chase Brown is a buy-low target due to the Bengals' favorable remaining schedule and potential for an increased role if Zack Moss misses time. Brown is currently in a 70/30 snap split, but his involvement in the passing game on early downs provides a solid floor. With upcoming matchups against the Dolphins, this may be the last window to acquire him before his value rises.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeRole44:21

Chuba Hubbard is a solid hold. He is a locked-and-loaded bell cow for the Panthers, and his production has been better than the box score suggests due to several plays being called back by penalties over the last two weeks.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeUsage1:47

Colston Loveland was involved in the offense and nearly scored a touchdown, though he ultimately failed to convert.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeBust56:41

David Montgomery is a sell candidate due to poor efficiency, a non-existent run game in Houston, and the emergence of Woody Marks as a threat to his goal-line work. Montgomery has failed to top 33 yards in his last two games and has a 24.3% rushing success rate, the second-lowest among all running backs. The source advises selling him now, potentially leveraging his upcoming matchups against Dallas and Tennessee as a selling point.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveProjection5:39

Despite the Eagles' offensive struggles, the source maintains that Devontae Smith is a very good player.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeBust39:25

Drake Maye has performed as poorly as the numbers suggest, and the source notes that his play has been as bad as Justin Herbert's in terms of fantasy production.

Insight page

Jacory Croskey-Merritt

PositiveSleeper46:26

Ja'Cory Krosky-Merritt is a hold. Despite poor box score stats, he was used ahead of Rashad White against the Seahawks and had a 48-yard run wiped out by a penalty that did not impact the play. With upcoming matchups against the Colts and Giants, he is a buy-low candidate who could bounce back.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeBust47:10

Jadarian Price is a sell candidate due to a clear fumble issue that has led to reduced playing time and a lack of red-zone opportunities. Despite being a rookie with talent, he is trapped in a committee and is losing high-value touches to Emmanuel Wilson and George Holani. The source suggests flipping him for a player with higher contingent upside, such as Blake Corum.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection5:34

Jalen Hurts has been inconsistent this season, with the source noting a lack of success in the team's passing game over the middle of the field. His fantasy outlook is dampened by the offense's overall struggles and a recent medical scare.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveBreakout43:50

Jeremiah Love is a buy candidate coming off his best game as a pro where he dominated backfield usage. He is on track to finish as a back-end fantasy RB1, with the Cardinals appearing ready to unleash their top-five draft pick.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveValue38:52

Jordan Mason is a sneaky buy-low candidate while he is sidelined with a thumb injury. The source expects him to return to a bell-cow role, noting that the current heavy workload for Aaron Jones is unsustainable and likely a stopgap until Mason returns. His injury is not a soft-tissue issue, making him a safer long-term investment for managers looking toward the fantasy playoffs.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeBust39:19

Justin Herbert is a drop candidate rather than a trade asset due to non-existent fantasy production and a brutal upcoming schedule that includes the Seahawks, Broncos, Chiefs, Rams, and Ravens. The Chargers' offense has been putrid, and there is no proof of concept that Herbert will succeed in the current scheme.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveBreakout1:53

Kalief Raymond is proving to be a consistent producer in the offense, recording six catches for 90 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles. The source suggests he is not a 'fugazi' and should be considered a legitimate fantasy asset.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue38:30

Kyler Murray is a priority buy as a streaming quarterback with favorable upcoming matchups against the Dolphins and Saints. Despite a lackluster previous performance, he lost his WR1 Justin Jefferson early in the game and still managed big plays with Jordan Addison. With Jefferson trending toward playing in Week 4, Murray is an affordable acquisition who can be started immediately.

Insight page
PositiveValue63:50

Kyler Murray is a buy-low quarterback target heading into favorable matchups against the Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints. His recent performance was impacted by the early loss of his primary wide receiver, but he remains a strong option given the upcoming schedule.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveUsage1:53

Luther Burden was highly productive for the Bears, leading the way in the game against the Eagles.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeValue18:37

The source prefers Bayshel Tootin over Marion Hampton, noting that Hampton has no role in the receiving game and has been less productive overall.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue5:16

Saquon Barkley is a hold for the source. While he averaged 5.5 yards per carry, the Eagles' offensive line struggles and lack of touchdown opportunities limit his ceiling. He is not a clear buy or sell, as his value is currently tied more to name equity than recent production.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeUsage60:54

Woody Marks is not a recommended buy despite his recent touchdown, as he is primarily a thorn in the side of David Montgomery rather than a standalone fantasy asset. Marks has limited rushing volume and targets, and the source advises staying away from the entire Houston backfield.

0:04Grainger, for the ones who get it done. And tight ends, you'll still get it all together, just not in the same spot.
0:11It's split into two different episodes. Erickson, how are you doing here into Week 4?
0:15Excited. Breaking down more of these buys and sells for the trade market.
0:19Interesting Monday Night Football game we're coming off of where Case Keenum, you know, that line never really made sense to me
0:25in terms of why is it only the Bears?
0:27I think it closed around three points, and this is why.
0:31Because the Bears just demolished the Philadelphia Eagles, despite the fact they were playing their third string quarterback Case Keenum.
0:36But it just goes to show that coaching matters and Ben Johnson, what he was able to cook up this week against
0:43the Vic Fangio defense that we thought was good, has not really been that good through first three weeks of the season.
0:49Even Eagles fans, I mean, Mike Mayer, how are we feeling with the Eagles through three games where I believe they're 0-3
0:55against the spread, let the Commanders hang around, they almost lost to the tight ends, and then obviously losing here on Monday
1:02Night Football against the Chicago Bears, who, man, they were able to do a lot of things offensively.
1:07Colston Loveland almost scored a touchdown, but of course he didn't, because why would we have nice things happen to us?
1:13But Luther Burden, again, very productive, and I guess Kalief Raymond is just going to be a thing all year.
1:18Worm. I guess that's like really the big main takeaway where, no, this is not a fugazi with him, because he just continues to produce in this offense.
1:26Six catches, 90 yards, and another touchdown. Obviously, Burden led the way with the Bears.
1:31So those are my initial reactions to the game we just saw on Monday Night Football.
1:35What about you? Yeah, it's interesting. Like, it's one of those, like, how long into the season until you just admit, like,
1:42you know, Kalief Raymond is a thing. Like, how long into year 10 of a guy's career do you need to decide, oh, he's actually really good?
1:49I don't know what the answer to that is.
1:52He did go to the medical tent during the game.
1:55He came back into the game, just to mention that.
1:58Yeah, this is another one of those. So, as you know, I play softball this time of year, and we have doubleheaders on Monday.
2:04So for a couple more weeks, I won't be able to watch all of Monday Night Football.
2:09I did catch most of the second half of this one.
2:12By the time we got to, like, the fourth quarter, it was basically like this game is a foregone conclusion.
2:18And it just felt like everybody was running out of the clock at that point, basically.
2:23It's funny, because if you had told me before the game that the Bears were going to win by 20, I would
2:29have said, oh, DeAndre Swift and Kamenunga ran all over them.
2:32Like, that is clearly the path to this happening.
2:35That isn't what happened. It was Case Keenum. There was a very funny post we put on our Betting Pros Instagram and TikTok.
2:41Shouts to Tyler behind the scenes who put it together of the scene in Top Gun Maverick, where Maverick, Tom Cruise's character,
2:48is kind of being the old man flying against all the young kids in the sky in the training session.
2:53And he's just absolutely toasting them in their training period.
2:56And that was basically what happened here. Case Keenum, the old vet, just kind of comes back onto the field first time
3:03in a while and just is roasting the other team.
3:05He looked awesome. That was kind of fun to see from him.
3:09And I'm sure it was really enjoyable for him and for Ben Johnson.
3:13I think the bigger takeaway for me here is just Eagles related.
3:16Like, it's less what level of excitement is there for the Bears in fantasy and more what level of concern is there for the Eagles.
3:23Like, Saquon isn't bad. He averaged five and a half yards per carry, but, like, the offensive line isn't that good.
3:29They're not scoring a lot of points, so he's not getting a lot of touchdown opportunities.
3:34Jalen Hurts obviously has been, like, pretty up and down this season and a lot of down, frankly.
3:39Like, I still think Devontae Smith is really good, but just, like, not a lot of needle movers on this team in
3:45a way that I expected there to be more of them, Erickson.
3:49Yeah, we haven't really seen this Eagles offense take off yet in the Sean Mannion era.
3:53Now it's only three games in and there's always time to improve, but we have not really seen this Hurts throwing over
3:59the middle of the field operation work, where that's something that was obviously going to be a big change with this offense and has not come to fruition.
4:07Now, do you want to layer on the kind of weird game scenario that happened last night if you didn't watch the game?
4:14So Jalen Hurts had to be checked in the medical blue tent because he took a hit and they had to double
4:20check to make sure he didn't get a concussion.
4:23Didn't look like he got a concussion, but from upstairs they said, hey, we got to protect the players.
4:28So that forced Andy Dalton into the game at, I believe, the one yard line, right at the goal line.
4:34And, of course, on his one pass attempts, he gets picked off.
4:38And Nick Sirianni is like freaking out on the sidelines because he wanted to get Jalen Hurts back in the game, obviously,
4:44because when you have Hurts and you're at the one yard line, that's the play you want.
4:49There's a certain play that you want to run more often than not that usually results in a touchdown.
4:54So I think that did kind of shift how that game was played.
4:58Obviously, what the Bears did offensively, the Eagles didn't have anything to stop them.
5:02But I think maybe we could have got a much closer game had Hurts not had to miss that play and Dalton got intercepted.
5:09But overall, yeah, Bears dominated. I think the fact that their defense was able to do this, I don't know.
5:14That's more about their defense maybe being a little bit better.
5:18I mean, two straight weeks. I get the weather was a big factor in the Vikings game, but the Vikings offense did
5:24not necessarily look amazing against the Bears. And obviously, this game as well, the Eagles offense did not take off in any way, shape or form.
5:31So maybe the Bears defense, maybe not totally buns cheeks.
5:34At least they played better the last two weeks.
5:37So those are some of the other takeaways for me.
5:40I mean, Barkley, just before we get off this game, is he a sell candidate where you're just looking at like, hey, coming off a OK game?
5:47Obviously, it's a prime time spot, but still 15 carries for 82 yards.
5:51No receiving to be like, again, another game where he's not involved in the passing game.
5:56One catch for negative two yards on two targets.
5:58I feel like he has name equity and he's not coming off like a totally terrible game.
6:03Obviously, the 82 rushing yards. But would he be a sell high candidate or just a sell candidate because you can probably
6:09get a decent chunk for a Barkley, especially to a manager that needs a running back?
6:14First of all, this is the second straight show where we're describing somebody as not being very good.
6:19You have said buns and cheeks. You keep being unable to decide between the two.
6:23I think Saquon is a very, very solidified hold.
6:26I don't know if I would rather buy or sell.
6:29And to me, that's a good sign. Like the buying will be not based on anything we've seen this year.
6:35It would just be based on the name value and the equity and trust that this organization has built up over time.
6:41They're not showing it right now. But on principle, I sort of get the case for buying Saquon low right now.
6:47I also get the case for selling off of, you know, one of the – it's basically the same game he had in week one.
6:54But, you know, pseudo best game of the season and trying to just kind of get out while there is still some of that name rent.
7:01I get that case too. So to me, I kind of split the difference.
7:05It just – I feel like he's a hold right now for me.
7:09Yeah. Other notes as well. So Burden scored a touchdown on like a pitch pass.
7:13It actually looked like a rushing attempt on first watch, but it actually was credited as a pass.
7:19Raymond ripped off a big play to score his touchdown.
7:21Loveland was down to basically the one-yard line. So he almost scored.
7:25And then Roman Dunzei dropped a touchdown where it was right in his bread basket.
7:29Case Keenan made like this great throw and Dunzei bobbled it.
7:32So those are the other updates from Monday night.
7:35Let's jump into our running backs that we are definitely looking to buy here.
7:39We'll start with whoever you have on the list.
7:41I need to pull it back up. Okay, yes, I remember now who you're talking about.
7:46Who are you looking to buy right now, Erickson?
7:49He was my buy after week one. It's Bayshel Tootin for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
7:53I just like what I've seen out of Tootin over the first three weeks of the season.
7:57Now it hasn't popped off any of these like insanely big games, but just been really, really steady.
8:03This last game against the New England Patriots, rushed 15 times for 73 yards.
8:07Also scored a touchdown. Shout out to Trevor Lawrence for taking the knee so that Bayshel Tootin's fantasy majors could get the end zone touchdown.
8:14So also had two catches for 17 yards on two targets.
8:17So we're starting to see him just continue to put together solid outings week after week, but not to a point where
8:23he's untouchable in terms of looking to acquire him with a trade.
8:27You look at this matchup on the road in week four against Cincinnati Bengals.
8:31Who do we just see just go off against Cincinnati?
8:34Jalen Warren, right? Having a career game against this type of defense.
8:37You have the Eagles. That's the week five matchup.
8:40How good are they? How good is their defense?
8:42Remains to be seen. So it's not like the schedule that is pushing the narrative for me to buy Tootin, but just
8:48the fact that I think that he's a really good player.
8:52And he's kind of checking off the boxes of what it looked like for a year to break out at the running back position.
8:58It's not perfect. Chris Rodriguez still kind of shows up when it comes to red zone and third and short.
9:04So that's going to be something that Tootin has to deal with kind of all year.
9:09But when it comes to who's ripping off big runs, who is involved in the passing game and who still does see
9:15some red zone equity in an offense that we're really excited about.
9:18I feel like Basial Tootin, not enough people are talking about what this guy could potentially be for the rest of the
9:25season as a worst, a top 24 running back, if not potentially top 15.
9:29If he starts getting some better matchups, more involved in the passing game.
9:32So again, last week, 48% snap share, top Jacksonville's running back room by a wired margin.
9:37And I just don't think I've seen anything from Chris Rodriguez that suggests to me that, oh, Tootin is like going to lose his job.
9:44Like I feel threatened by Chris Rodriguez, LaQuinn Allen, Amir Abdullah, any of these guys.
9:48It's Tootin's backfield. And I think that's been really clear for the first three weeks.
9:53And the coaches have echoed that they're continuing to see him build off strong week after strong week.
9:58And eventually that's going to end up creating and cultivating into a massive performance for Tootin.
10:03You said, you know, definitely inside top 24, possibly inside top 15.
10:06He's sort of splitting that difference. He's RB 18 right now in the consensus rest of season rankings on fantasypros.com.
10:12Um, I feel like that's a pretty fair ranking.
10:14I wonder where you have him more specifically, like the names ahead of him.
10:18Obviously, Brees Hall is injury related. So maybe he'll move down depending on how long that quad injury actually lingers.
10:24And that's like Bucky Irving or Marion Hampton. If you still want to hold out hope Jeremiah Love, who looked good last week.
10:31DeAndre Swift, Kyron Williams, Yvante Williams. That's moving up.
10:33So like, I don't feel like a lot of those names.
10:36I want to make an impassionate case for him being ahead of.
10:40And then behind him, you know, Cam Scadaboo, Chuba Hubbard.
10:43That feels like the right names to be near.
10:45And then beyond that, it's like he's clearly ahead of, you know, David Montgomery, Travion Henderson, Jalen Warren.
10:50He just mentioned, I feel like, Quinshon Judkins. So to me, like 20th is about the lowest you could have him.
10:56But I feel like maybe 16th or 17th is about the highest.
11:00The back half of that 15 to 20 range feels like the right spot to me.
11:04Where do you have him ranked? I'm trying to pull up my rankings right now, but my internet is not cooperating with me.
11:11And to help the YouTube watchers not have me go through serious lag, I have him somewhere in that range, right?
11:17Top 18, et cetera range. I think that I have him ahead of Hampton at this point because I've seen enough of
11:23this Chargers offense where Hampton has no role in the receiving game.
11:27And I would rather much take a shot on another second year running back that through the first three weeks, who's been better, right?
11:33Not even close. It's been based all to an, in my opinion, overall, Marion Hampton.
11:38So I think that's an opportunity where you could flip a player where Hampton obviously comes with higher draft equity and draft capital.
11:44And he hasn't been terrible in every single game he's played.
11:48But Tootin, I think it's just the trajectory is trending up and I want to get on the tugboat before he pops,
11:54which could easily be here in week four if you get the bad Bengals defense for a second straight week.
12:00I don't disagree with Tootin as a pick here, to be clear.
12:03Just to push back a little bit, I would also just point out, like, I guess I kind of would have expected
12:09a bigger day against the Patriots with how much they were up as long in that game as they were up.
12:15Like, you would think, okay, lean on the run to wind down the clock.
12:19And, you know, if he didn't, if Trevor Lawrence didn't go down at the one, we're looking at a game where he
12:26had, like, 70 yards, no touchdown while the team was leading by a ton.
12:30Do you feel like usage-wise, like, you're talking about this being an offense that you're excited about.
12:34If this ends up being, like, if this is more of a passing game offense than a running game offense and he's
12:41sort of splitting work with Rodriguez and closing out games, then are you a little nervous that, like, he's going to be a touchdown dependent?
12:48Because he has kind of been touchdown dependent to have a ceiling so far this season.
12:52It's only three games. You know, I know you mentioned, like, the two catchers for 17 yards.
12:57He's had five total targets this season. So it's not like there's been a ton of usage in the passing game.
13:03And he has been between 65 and 73 rushing yards in each game.
13:07So the two games where he's been inside the top 12 of the position and half PPR scoring is because he's gotten
13:13into the red zone, or excuse me, into the end zone.
13:16The game where he wasn't, where he was outside the top 24 was the game he didn't score a touchdown.
13:22So, like, not that he's touchdown or bust, but does he feel like touchdown or bust relative to having a ceiling week to week to you?
13:30I think that's a good way to spin it.
13:32I don't think he's going to have these top 12 types of weeks unless he probably scores.
13:37Because, yeah, his receiving is not amazing. It's enough to kind of get by.
13:41Again, two catches here for 17 yards on two targets.
13:44But it's still clearly ahead of the other guys on the roster.
13:47Like, Chris Rodriguez is a total zero in the receiving game.
13:51Under on his catching prop is free money every single week if the books continue to post .5 reception for Chris Rodriguez because he never catches passes.
13:58So, I'm just expecting that his yardage is going to continue to be stable.
14:02I mean, the fact that he's rushed for, what, you said 65 yards in three straight games?
14:07I'd be kind of curious to see what other running backs have actually done that this season.
14:12And every single game hit at least 65 rushing yards besides probably most of the elite guys.
14:17And then Basial Tutu will probably be thrown into that conversation, which I think is kind of interesting.
14:22But I don't think the touchdowns are going to go away because he does still see chances in the red zone.
14:28And although this game he did not get the garbage time running out the clock type of usage, he did see that
14:34workload in week one with the Cleveland Browns. So, it's not like it's out of his range of outcomes or out of
14:41his role where he won't see carries in fourth quarter to run out the clock on some of these battered, you know, worse defenses and worse teams.
14:48So, I just like what I've seen from the players so far this year.
14:52And I think right now he's not viewed as this untouchable asset where so many teams need running back help.
14:58Like, this is a player I want to go for, especially if you have a lot of receivers, right?
15:03You have receivers popping off on your bench. Who can I flip to maybe get a running back?
15:09I think Tutu is that guy for me. Yeah, I think it's fair.
15:12Let's go to my running back to buy. I actually sort of had two names here, Erickson.
15:17I want you to help me pick who's the better one.
15:20One is higher up in the rankings, a bigger name.
15:23The other one is a lot lower in the rankings.
15:26The higher up ranking one is Chase Brown. And he's somebody who is ranked inside the top 10 in the consensus rest of season rankings.
15:33He's RB9. I really just wanted to kind of highlight him.
15:36And I actually messaged you last night when I was working on this sheet and said, I don't really want to buy
15:43a lot of running backs right now. I feel like, A, it's just not that exciting of a position outside of the
15:49names that nobody would be willing to trade. And B, the market prices, at least when you look at the consensus rest
15:55of season rankings, seem pretty fair to me. That's also true of Chase Brown.
15:59But the reason I want to bring him up is that I really feel like we've been seeing his floor so far this season.
16:06He's been, and this is in half PPR scoring, RB14, RB22, and RB30 in the first three games.
16:11But I'm not worried about the usage. I'm not worried about this offense long term.
16:16There's going to be, I think, some touchdown regression to the mean.
16:19He only has one so far this season. That was back in week one.
16:23I just feel like the Bengals are a good offense.
16:26And I think the touchdown opportunities are going to come.
16:29He has 16 carries in week one, 20 in week two, 13 in week three.
16:33He has 13 targets on the season, including six and five, respectively, in the first two games.
16:38I just think the point totals are going to be higher going forward.
16:42It's also been a really tough start to the season in terms of the defenses that they've been playing.
16:47Now, a team like Houston hasn't been as good as maybe as we expected them to be.
16:52But you look from a running back schedule standpoint, first four weeks, obviously the fourth one hasn't happened yet.
16:57For the first four weeks, Tampa Bay at Houston, at Pittsburgh, and then Jacksonville this week.
17:02That is as tough of a run out against, you know, a run defenses as you might have imagined any running back could have this season.
17:09And I think the fact that he has this Jags game coming up plays into your favor.
17:14If you're trying to buy him, you can say, look, he's struggled against three teams already.
17:19If you drafted him, you probably took him really high, like early second round.
17:23And therefore, he's carrying a lot of weight for your team.
17:26If your team is 1-2 or 0-3, you might be like, man, can we afford to have one of our best players
17:32going up against another really tough run defense in Jacksonville?
17:35I think that plays into your favor if you're trying to buy him.
17:39But really, this is a buy medium, right? It's not a buy high or a buy low.
17:44I just kind of think what we've seen given the usage and the offense that he's in is more of his floor.
17:50And the schedule lightens up the rest of the season after week four.
17:54Easiest schedule of all time. It's not a whole bunch of cakewalk defenses.
17:57But it's a lot easier compared to, again, Bucs at Houston, at Steelers, Jacksonville.
18:01I don't know why I was mixing up mascots and city names there.
18:05But the point is that I think the schedule does look a lot easier going forward.
18:10And I think it's just a good player who's going to continue to get really good usage.
18:15So that's my Chase Brown case. Why don't you react to that before I give you the case for the other player?
18:21I love this call by you. I'm glad that it came to you last night when you're putting the show sheet together
18:27that, oh, I need to advocate for buying Chase Brown.
18:30I talked about Chase Brown on the trade live stream last week for a lot of the reasons you outlined where he's
18:36had tough matchups to start the year. But he has still been productive.
18:40The touchdowns have not been there for him. But we know this offense, especially as the season progresses, starts to cook.
18:46So I think that Chase Brown is definitely one of these medium buy players where he's just not super top of mind.
18:52And I think for me, it's always going back to players that we know can achieve top tier fantasy status, which we
18:59saw from last year with Chase Brown. But they're not top of mind because the production hasn't been there so far this year.
19:05So if the Chase Brown manager in your league isn't happy with what Chase Brown's been doing, then yeah, I think that
19:12there's definitely a case to be made where he can be bought.
19:15Not buy low per se, but hey, he's acquireable.
19:18Like he's attainable, which a lot of times when if you try to strike up a trade for like Jameer Gibbs or B.J.
19:24Robinson, they're just going to be like, no, I don't want to trade my elite player.
19:29So Chase Brown obviously has not ascended to that elite status so far this season, but you kind of laid out the
19:35reasons why things are going to improve as the season progresses, which I could not agree with more.
19:40The Bengals have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL remainder of the season.
19:44That was what when we were looking at a lot of the betting stuff in the offseason, that was something that really pointed out to me.
19:52But we knew that it was going to be more backloaded than frontloaded after we looked at the opening schedule.
19:58So I also would add in to that's much of hearing did get banged up towards the end of the last game the Bengals played.
20:05And if for some reason this injury is worse, then you could see Chase Brown's role really skyrocket because we know that
20:11he's kind of stuck in this 70 percent, 30 percent snap share split with P.
20:15Ryan plays on third downs. But to your point about listing off how good Brown has still been and involved, he's been in the passing game.
20:23It's because they throw it to him on early downs.
20:26So it's not really hurting him that he doesn't play every single snap, doesn't play on third downs.
20:31But it would be a major boost if P.
20:33Ryan were to miss time or something along those lines.
20:36So I agree. Chase Brown, always a bye. Hey, it's Ashanti Plummer from Futter Round and Find Out.
20:41Coming out of the draft, it's been a special time for us here at Futter Round.

22:50Also, just his fantasy playoff schedule, weeks 15 to 17, Carolina, Indianapolis, and Baltimore.
22:54Those aren't the three easiest running defenses in the world, but those are teams you can run on.
22:59Also, too, I would say this might be the last chance you can buy him because who do the Bengals play in week five for him?
23:06Dolphins. Yep. Because, again, if he has any semblance of a good game, the door is shut to buy Chase Brown.
23:12So this is probably your last week. So this is why we brought it up.
23:16This is why we had to come to the table with Chase Brown because next week it's going to be like, well,
23:23you can't get Chase Brown when he's facing the Dolphins.
23:26That's not going to work. So the other name that I was thinking, just kind of looking lower as like even more
23:32acquirable just because they'll be a lot cheaper, is Jordan Mason.
23:35It looked like he was going to get some pretty good usage on the ground.
23:3915 carries, you know, in week one. Obviously, injury pops up and he's on IR.
23:44Didn't seem like it's going to be like a super long-term IR issue, right?
23:48It's a thumb issue. It's not like it's a knee or, you know, anything in the legs that should impact his running too much.
23:54And Aaron Jones is fine. He's doing okay stepping in.
23:57But like I almost consider Aaron Jones as a sell for today's episode.
24:01Like so if I'm – and I didn't pick him as that.
24:04But if I am thinking of him in that lens, well, somebody on this team is probably worth buying then.
24:10And to me, that's Jordan Mason. When he comes back, I expect him to get most of the work on the ground.
24:16And this defense is really, really good. So even if the offense is up and down with Kyler Murray and, you know,
24:23when Carson Wentz is in there, obviously they traded away J.J.
24:26McCarthy. McCarthy, I do think this will be a team that wants to rely on the ground game.
24:31And the defense might keep them in a lot of games to the point where whoever is leading the, you know, backfield,
24:37not even committee, just whoever is leading this backfield, I think could get a lot of pretty, you know, compelling usage.
24:43So I want to throw him out because he's still injured.
24:47So if you're trading with a team that has him on IR and that team is 1-2 or 0-3, they're like, well, listen, we need wins now.
24:54So we're willing to move a guy who's hurt right now.
24:57You know, deal, I think you can get him.
25:00Unfortunately, he's not going to play this week because they get Miami hit this week.
25:04That would be a nice one. But they have a really, really nice schedule throughout the rest of the season in terms
25:11of, you know, rushing defenses that they're facing. So I do think Jordan Mason, as a guy, you could maybe get him
25:17added into part of a larger trade. Or if you just want to throw something cheap for a manager who needs a
25:23win this week and can't use him because he's still injured, I think that's, it's more on the margins than Chase Brown
25:29is, but I think it's a smart move. I agree.
25:32And I think that the nuance behind acquiring someone like Mason or selling Aaron Jones is also very dependent on what your team needs, right?
25:39If you're 0-2, it doesn't make a lot of sense to trade away Aaron Jones when he's facing the Dolphins this week, right?
25:46Because you need his production. Whereas if you are 2-0 and you're looking towards the long game here with Jordan Mason as
25:52I would expect him, I agree with you, that he's going to be the bell cow running back when he returns from his injury.
25:59And I think, too, buying players when they're injured is always kind of risky business because you never know what's going to happen with these types of players.
26:07But when it comes to Mason and his specific injury, he's a thumb injury, right?
26:12So you're not worried about like, oh man, he's got the soft tissue thing, like he's going to re-injure his hamstring, etc.
26:18That's not really the case. It's like, he's fine.
26:20He just can't squeeze the football right now because he has an injured thumb.
26:24So I think that he's going to get back to his bell cow duties that we were being sold in the offseason
26:31that Mason was going to be the leading rusher for this team.
26:34And the only reason they're overloading Aaron Jones right now is because they know they're getting Jordan Mason back in a couple weeks.
26:41So I think that this Aaron Jones workload is not sustainable whatsoever, especially for a player like Aaron.
26:46I mean, he barely made it through the first game last week before hurting his knee.
26:50Obviously had another productive outing in terms of his raw touches.
26:54I think that the production itself may be left a little to be desired like you kind of alluded to.
26:59So yeah, I think that Mason and Jones should be viewed kind of similarly in terms of their rest of season ranking.
27:06But it's all about what do you need now with your specific roster in terms of I need to win today.
27:12I need to win this week. Give me Aaron Jones.
27:14But if I can shelf some trade to get a player like Jordan Mason for the long term, I think that makes a lot of sense.
27:22So who's the better by Chase Brown or Jordan Mason?
27:25Who should have been my choice? I mean, I think that Chase Brown is like the sexy name, of course.
27:30But Jordan Mason, I think, is like that sneaky by low that no one's going to like bat an eye about like
27:37if that trade goes down on the wire, right?
27:39No one's going to be like, oh, which no one's going to post a social thing about massive trade.
27:45Jordan Mason just went down in my league. What's going to happen?
27:48That won't happen. But if Chase Brown gets dealt.
27:51Oh, yeah, that's going to that's going to generate some clicks.
27:54It'll move the needle. I need to tell you about this new prediction market called Polymarket.
27:59It's a stock exchange for sports buying in and selling out on your terms.
28:03When your team goes down to 20%, you can buy in and sell it off at 40%.
28:07When they come back to double your money, they are so confident you'll never go back to the other guys.
28:13They're giving you a free $50 on your first trade when you deposit just $10.
28:17And now they've launched a new feature, Squads, a group chat where you can see what everyone is trading on.
28:23So download the Polymarket app today and use FPPOD when you sign up.
28:27That's FPPOD to get $50 free after you trade just $10.
28:30Erickson, who is your running back to sell? We're going to go with a generic price running back for the Seattle Seahawks.
28:36So we've seen some good from price over the first couple of weeks of the season.
28:41We've also seen some bad from Jerry Price over the first couple of weeks of the season, most notably with the fumbles.
28:47So he is clearly showing a fumble issue. It happened in the most recent game for the Seattle Seahawks, which they lost due in part to turnovers, right?
28:55That was a big role in the collapse that they had against the Washington Commanders.
28:59Price fumbled early into that game. And we really didn't see him that much after he fumbled.
29:04So I know the coaches have been kind of playing coy about like, was this disciplinary that we benched Jerry and Price
29:11that he wasn't seeing as many touches? I think it's pretty self-explanatory that that's exactly kind of what they did.
29:16If you look at after his fumble, he had two carries.
29:19He finished with a 27% snap share. The lightest workload of the Seattle running backs between Emmanuel Wilson and George Helani.
29:25And the whole thesis on the Jerry and Price play was Zach Charbonnet is on the shelf with this injury.
29:31Price as a rookie, a first round pick has the opportunity to carve himself out the role as, hey, I'm the RB1
29:37in this offense, given the opportunity to start the year.
29:40And through three weeks, it's really just been the committee nonsense, even though Price has looked good when he's actually been rushing the football.
29:47But everything else is not helping us for fantasy football purposes.
29:50So it feels like Groundhog Day again with the Seahawks offense where, yeah, Price is definitely the best running back in terms
29:57of rusher of the football on Seattle. But he's not getting the opportunities to score fantasy points.
30:02Specifically, just like last year with Ken Walker and Zach Charbonnet is who's not on the field and red zone opportunities for the most part.
30:09It's not Jadarian Price, whether it's Emmanuel Wilson, George Helani, these other guys are eating into that red zone work.
30:14This is according to next gen stats. If you look at the carries for running backs, he has three of the 18
30:21red zone carries for the Seahawks backfield this season, Jadarian Price.
30:24And that number is not going to increase when Zach Charbonnet eventually comes back to the lineup.
30:29So that's what I look at with Jadarian Price play, where he's been struggling to hold on to the football.
30:34He's already in a committee. And so even though he has looked good at times running the football, I just don't see
30:41that it's not translating to the fantasy success that we'd like to see from our RB2s.
30:45So that makes him a sell for me. I wonder, like, what do you think you can get for him?
30:51Because I feel like a lot of what I have seen online is panic isn't quite the right word, but something adjacent
30:57to panic of fantasy managers basically seeing what you're seeing and wanting to get out of the Jadarian Price business.
31:03And I'm wondering, like, does that mean he doesn't carry enough value to be worth selling and is therefore more valuable as just a hold?
31:10And say, I am hoping that as a rookie, he kind of gets more and more involved in the offense later on.
31:16And, you know, if Charbonnet takes longer to come back from the injury than we expected, then this is OK.
31:22Like, I wonder if that's just the best approach, because I wonder what you could actually get back for Price right now.
31:28And I also do kind of laugh. Like, is Mike McDonald watching what Ken Walker is doing now that he has been unleashed?
31:35Like, maybe that should be a sign of, like, a lesson learned.
31:39Oh, maybe we were wrong to have this guy in a committee.
31:42And not that Jadarian Price is Kenneth Walker, but, you know, I like him.
31:46I think he's a good runner. I wish they would kind of learn their lesson there.
31:51But yeah, what do you think you can actually get for Price right now?
31:55You can get Blake Corum. Especially after Blake Corum's bad game.
31:58Who has more upside, right? Right. We've seen the Seattle backfield before is capped, right?
32:02It takes an injury to a player like Zach Charbonnet to unleash Kenneth Walker.
32:06That's where the ceiling play was last year. You can make the same argument where if Kyron were to go down, Blake
32:12Corum would be smash to a top five type of fantasy ceiling.
32:16There'd be no hesitation. Whereas he'd be like RB8 the first week of as a starter.
32:20Exactly. And although this last game for Corum was not great, they relied a lot more on Kyron Williams.
32:26The first two weeks of seeing him, Blake Corum was excellent.
32:29And he was, I would say, producing just alongside a player like a Janarian Price, despite the fact that he was operating as the clear-cut RB2.
32:36So I feel like Corum is an interesting guy that you could potentially flip for Price because he's not the starting running back on his team.
32:44But the contingent upside with him is very good.
32:46And obviously he has shown at least through two of three games that he does have some standalone value as well.
32:52Whereas with Price, I feel like we're just trending in the wrong direction with him.
32:57And even though his stock has suppressed a little bit, I don't see the path at the end of the tunnel where,
33:03oh, well, now he's just going to take over all the red zone opportunities.
33:07I don't think that's going to happen. That doesn't seem like it's going to be happening here in 2026 because they love Charbonnet.
33:13And if they did trust him in the red zone, I feel like they would already use him there.
33:19Whereas they have been electing to play guys like Emmanuel Wilson and George Helani.
33:23So that's where I look at Price as. That's the Price probably.
33:26Or you just do one of these running back wide receiver type of trades where you can flip them to a team that really needs a running back.
33:34Again, Devon H.N. The Brees Hall manager. Maybe Jadarian Price is one of these teams that you can use as a trade target.
33:41My running back to sell David Montgomery. And I'm kicking myself for not selling him after week one.
33:46Honestly, when he had the three touchdowns, that would have been the time to do it.
33:51It just is not. This run game is totally non-existent for Houston right now.
33:55You know, he has averaged yards per carry in his three games.
33:58Three, 1.7 and then three again. He has not topped 60 yards in a game.
34:02That was week one. He hasn't topped 33 yards in a game since then.
34:06Obviously, he hasn't scored a touchdown since that week one explosion too.
34:10It just feels like this offensive line is not working.
34:13This running game is not well designed. And he looks older and less efficient.
34:17And I don't know that he's totally cooked. But I mean, he is 29 and has been in the NFL for a long time.
34:24So I just want to kind of get out and hope that the combination of it's only been two games since he
34:30was just RB6 on the week in week one.
34:32And maybe that's still in the back of the mind of the manager you're talking to.
34:37And also, anybody you're trading with can look and say, oh, well, his next two games are Dallas and Tennessee.
34:43So you can sort of use that as part of a selling point in trading him and say, hey, look, he's getting these two choice matchups coming up.
34:51And I can't deal with that anymore. But I'm willing to give them up and you can take advantage of these two matchups coming up here.
34:58I think Dallas, too, like might be a sneakier, worse matchup than you think just based on the defense.
35:04Their secondary is so banged up. They don't have like enough players to be in their defensive backfield right now that I
35:10would just like if I'm a team facing them, I would try to throw.
35:14Not that the run defense is anything special. But like that pass defense is going to be like a nonstarter for them until they start getting healthier.
35:22So like I don't know that he's going to that this is going to be some great rushing matchup for him anyway.
35:28But somebody can look at that matchup when you're trying to trade away David Montgomery and say, oh, Dallas, that's a great matchup coming up.
35:35I don't even think it's that good relative to what this reputation might be.
35:39So I say all that to say, even if you're selling a little bit low here, I think it's just time to cut bait with David Montgomery.
35:47David Montgomery is the guy you sent in the trade with the paragraph about, hey, by the way, you know that they're
35:53facing the Dallas Cowboys and this other choice matchup here.
35:56So this is definitely why you want to take them off my hands, the Tennessee Titans.
36:01So I think that's the spirited way to do it.
36:03Worm, we'll see if it actually pans out in terms of trying to sell David Montgomery.
36:08I agree with you. We should have been more bullish on the got to sell him after the three touchdowns because it
36:14was the proof is in the pudding, right? With 20 carries for 60 yards in that game.
36:19The efficiency for him has been putrid. 2.8 yards per carry, third lowest mark among qualified rushers this year.
36:25It's actually worse than Woody Marks, which is also a three yards per carry, which also signals this offensive line is not
36:31creating opportunities for these running backs to get yardage.
36:33So both guys are struggling in terms of efficiency.
36:36Montgomery has a 24.3% rushing success rate. That is the second lowest among all running backs this season.
36:41And one thing to note as well, the one saving grace with Montgomery has been, well, he's the goal line back.
36:47He's the red zone guy. Well, last week, Woody Marks was the guy that got the opportunity at the goal line and not Dave Montgomery.
36:54So, Marks, you didn't really mention him, but he's a thorn in the side of Dave Montgomery.
36:59Like, he's involved a lot, especially as a pass catcher out of the backfield with the Texans playing in some negative game scripts.
37:06So, we have not gotten the Dave Montgomery workhorse role like maybe some people thought we were going to see in Houston
37:12this year after they signed him or traded for him from the Detroit Lions.
37:16Because it's a committee. It's a split. And even if he is on the 60-40 side of that, clearly that has not
37:22been enough if he doesn't have the touchdown. So, yeah, I think that you're just putting him on the block.
37:28You're seeing what you can get. If you can't get anything, you wait.
37:32You hope he pops off against Dallas. But then you remind yourselves like, no, I'm still looking to try to trade Dave
37:38Montgomery, even if he has another three touchdown game against Dallas, if that's in his range of outcomes.
37:43So, I agree with you that maybe we missed the boat, but hey, we still want to be sellers of Dave Montgomery.
37:50I want to make a point here before we move on that me selling Dave Montgomery is not me endorsing buying Woody Marks.
37:56I just – I would stay away from this backfield in general.
38:00Woody Marks has 65 total rushing yards this season.
38:02And outside of week two, he has two total targets.
38:05Like, yes, he did get the touchdown this week.
38:08And I'm glad you brought him up. I'm not saying that it was bad to do that.
38:12But to me, that's more what he's taking away from Montgomery and less like, oh, go out and buy Woody Marks.
38:18That to me would not be worth it. Let's get to the quarterbacks here, Eric.
38:23So, you've got one to buy and one to sell.
38:26Why don't you do them together here and move through them a little quickly?
38:30Yeah. So, Kyler Murray is going to be my quarterback to buy here.
38:33And that's because he faces the Miami Dolphins this week.
38:36I mean, it's really as short and sweet as that gets the New Orleans Saints in week five.
38:41So, you have some positive matchups coming up for him where he is not coming off a game that I think many of us were impressed by.
38:49But it has to go with the context that he did lose his number one wide receiver seven snaps into the game.
38:55So, he didn't have Justin Jefferson. He did able to pop off some big plays with Jordan Addison as the number one
39:02wide receiver in the Vikings offense after Jefferson left.
39:04It looks like Jefferson still has a chance to play in week four against the Miami Dolphins.
39:09So, I don't think it gets easier than Kyler Murray as a streaming quarterback.
39:13As a quarterback you can acquire really, really cheap versus a player that I want to get rid of.
39:19And that would be Justin Herbert. Right? I'm still holding on hope because Drake May was my buy low last week.
39:25So, I'm not going to put him on the sell.
39:27You can also listen to the tailgate show where we kind of just talk about how bad Drake May has been.
39:33Trust me. I know how bad he's been. Watched all the games.
39:37And yeah, it's as bad as the numbers would suggest.
39:40But Justin Herbert has also been equally as buns cheeks, however you want to describe it, as Drake May.
39:45Maybe not technically as bad, but in terms of fantasy production, it has been non-existent.
39:49And we talked about this on the tailgate show, but I am more hopeful that the Patriots can turn it around based
39:56on their schedule versus the Chargers that we've talked about on a number of different shows.
40:00Just an absolute gauntlet. And it starts this week against the Seattle Seahawks where I just don't know how the Chargers offices
40:07can get on track, especially with Justin Herbert. So, considering how many different quarterbacks you can access right now in your fantasy
40:13leagues, whether it's through trade or through waivers, I think right now Herbert needs to go to the waiver wire.
40:19So, he's my sell for me. Not even a sell that you can trade him.
40:23It's more just you just got to drop him because there are just so many other quarterbacks.
40:28You can't continue to keep playing him, hoping that things will turn around when there's no proof of concept that he's actually
40:34going to work in this Mike McDaniel offense, which has just been outright putrid for the first three weeks of the season.
40:40Yeah. You know, it's like a lot of there's been a lot of talk about could the Chargers go 0-9?
40:46Look how tough the schedule gets. To me, I had always kind of felt like, well, if they're losing a lot of
40:52these games, that might mean some garbage time points.
40:55It actually might not be the worst thing for fantasy for Herbert.
40:58He's going to be forced to throw more. But it's not just that they're facing teams that you think they're going to lose to.
41:05You're facing really good defenses, man, at Seattle this week, home against Denver, at Kansas City.
41:10Then after the bye week, they're at Los Angeles Rams where the Rams, like maybe Miles Garrett is back in that game.
41:16And then you get Houston. Maybe they figured it out by then.
41:20Then Baltimore, I mean, like, again, everybody knows how tough the schedule is.
41:23But specifically the defenses on this schedule are brutal.
41:26So would you, I was going to say, would you trade Herbert straight up for Kyler?
41:30Do you think that is doable? I don't know.
41:33I mean, Kyler's not coming off a monster game.
41:36So perhaps there is a window where you could potentially buy that.
41:39And Herbert has more of that name cache. Obviously a quarterback that people drafted in their fantasy drafts.
41:44But I mean, most of the time quarterback for quarterback trades don't.
41:48I don't know. A lot of leagues I'm in, you don't usually see quarterback trades really that often.
41:53So for me, this was just like go through the jugular, just cut Herbert, pick up Kyler Murray.
41:58I know that he's still floating around on some waiver wires.
42:01And because again, you can't always trade quarterback. So for me, this sell advice for him is more like just cut him
42:07because I don't see a scenario where you're going to feel confident about playing Justin Herbert anytime soon.
42:12Whereas Kyler, dude, you're starting this week, man. Week four.
42:15And then if he plays well, you'll feel confident playing him against the Saints in a dome setting.
42:21And then they have a week six bye week.
42:23So especially with the Jefferson thing trending in the positive direction, having him is a big boost for Kyler because dude, this Dolphins defense, man.
42:30Dude, the secondary is so bad. Just up and down the entire roster.
42:34Any quarterback can do anything against that defense. And then that's going to include Kyler Murray on Sunday.
42:39Yeah, it's it's a non-functional NFL defense. Yeah, Herbert is looking like maybe my probably my single biggest miss of the entire.
42:45Yeah, I liked Herbert a lot, too. So that's definitely something that I right now.
42:50So my three my three main quarterbacks were Herbert.
42:52I know exactly what you're going to say. It was Herbert, Caleb Williams and Trevor Lawrence.
42:57And those are my three most targeted quarterbacks by a mile.
43:00And Trevor is looking like the best of the bunch by a mile.
43:04I mean, Caleb, obviously just the injury, but yeah.
43:06I mean, where is where's Herbert in the rest of the season rankings?
43:10He is driving to QB 15. Would you rather have him or.
43:13Bryce Young. I think I think I think I think on principle, I'd rather have Herbert.
43:18Herbert also like Bryson appears to be fine, but he is like he did undergo imaging yesterday.
43:23Yeah, I did. Yeah, yeah. That as well. Just to mention that I would still rather have Herbert.
43:28I don't love saying it. If I'm being honest.
43:31Bryson plays the lines this week. So buy seller hold do a couple of running back ones here quickly and then get out of here.
43:38And again, reminder for everybody, these are not ranking these three.
43:41It is you have to pick one that you're treating as a buy at their current market value.
43:46One is a sell. One is a hold. Bucky Irving, Chuba Hubbard, Jeremiah Love.
43:50Again, Bucky Irving, Chuba Hubbard, Jeremiah Love by seller hold.
43:53What are you doing? I want to buy Jeremiah Love just coming off a his best game as NFL pro really kind of dusted Tyler.
44:00I was year in terms of the backfield usage and he looked great.
44:04So I think that he's now on track to kind of finish as that back end fantasy RB one, like we traditionally
44:10see from guys that are taken with his type of draft capital.
44:14And finally, the Cardinals are kind of like, hey, enough of this Algiers stuff.
44:18Let's unleash our first round top five pick and Jeremiah Love.
44:21So he's going to be my buy. I think Chuba Hubbard is just a really solid hold right now.
44:26Again, I was wrong. That was my biggest L from week one of the trade show was selling Hubbard high because of Jonathan Brooks.
44:33Right now, Hubbard is just like a locked and loaded bell cow.
44:36And it's funny, the last two weeks, this dude has run so cold when it comes to penalties.
44:42Like he's had like a bunch of extra production that has just been evaporated into the ether because of plays being called back through penalty.
44:49So his production has actually been much better the last two weeks.
44:52And that's not to say it hasn't even really been that bad.
44:56Like he's seeing all the backfield touches for the Carolina Panthers gets the Lions this week.
45:00So Chuba Hubbard is going to be my hold.
45:03And then Bucky Irving is my sell. I think that the Buccaneers in general, in the beyond the waiver wire piece that
45:09I wrote for week four, I just said sell bucks because I think that this ship is taken on Waterman and there
45:15is nowhere in sight of this boat being rescued because Baker Mayfield's out for three weeks.
45:20They were already the worst offense in the NFL EPA per play.
45:23Buccaneers dead last in the entire NFL. Bottom 10 and yards per play, passing yards per game.
45:28Just a lot of the advanced metrics. Bucky has been the one kind of like silver lining with the offensive hole.
45:34But even last week, split snaps closer with Kenneth Gainwell.
45:37So I just have no faith that Zach Robinson and what they're doing with this offense is going to be anywhere near productive.
45:44Even if Baker comes back, it doesn't matter. They were bad when he was there.
45:48And now you have JL and Daniels as the quarterback.
45:51So jump ship for the Buccaneers players. And yes, of course, I'm going to make that pun because Buccaneers, Pirates, et cetera.
45:57But yeah, jump ship. Yeah, the ship has sailed.
46:00So we are selling something there. Let's do another buy seller hold here.
46:03Blake Corum, Ja'Cory Krosky-Merritt, Aaron Jones. You mentioned a couple of these guys earlier in the show.
46:08Blake Corum, Ja'Cory Krosky-Merritt, Aaron Jones. Yeah, I think for me it's going to be to sell high on Aaron Jones, presuming
46:15that you don't need wins right now. I think that just this work that he's seeing is very unsustainable and Jordan Mason is going to come back.
46:22So in a vacuum, Aaron Jones is a pretty typical sell high candidate.
46:26Ja'Cory Krosky-Merritt would probably be my hold. I was impressed by the way that he was used last week.
46:31And he was another one of these players that had a really big play that was wiped off the board because of a penalty.
46:38And if you put that penalty or if you put that run that he had, it was like a big, I remember exactly how many yards.
46:46It was like 48 yards or something like that.
46:48But it like dramatically changes his final box score, which was otherwise just garbage, right?
46:53Where he did not see a lot of production.
46:55I think that he actually averaged under two yards per carry by the final stat line.
47:00But when you add that big play in that was really due to a legal shift, it wasn't one of these penalties
47:06that was, oh, it was a holding penalty that opened up the run.
47:10Like, no, like the penalty had nothing to do with the play, but just a bad run for Krosky-Merritt and the fact
47:16that he was still working ahead of Rashad White against the Seattle Seahawks defense.
47:20So I think that he would be my hole for me because he's got some good matchups, I believe, coming up.
47:26Okay, he's got the Colts this week. So that's a great matchup.
47:29The Giants are the next two for him. So he's definitely the hole for me.
47:34So just don't worry about like the lack of production this past week.
47:37He'll he'll bounce back. And then Blake Corham would probably be my buy, right?
47:41Just been a player that the first two weeks of the season, really, really good coming off a game week three.
47:48Not so good. It's the Broncos defense. But we know his upside if something were happening to Kyron and he had his
47:54own standalone value the last two games. He's just a really good running back and a really good player.
47:59And you just want to get those types of players on your team.
48:03So Corham would be my buy for cheap. I think you could make the case for switching Krosky-Merritt and Corham and saying
48:09Corham's the hold because you do need the injury for him to really hit his ceiling.
48:14Whereas Krosky-Merritt, like what would we be saying about him if that running counted?
48:18He'd be at 20 carries, 80 plus yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks.
48:22Like I think we'd be really impressed about Bill.
48:24So I'm not saying that like that one run should just change how we view him entirely.
48:29But I think that stat line would obviously look way different if he had gotten that.
48:34And again, particularly against the team that it came against.
48:37I think he's worth buying because I think anybody looking at his production this year would say, oh, he's been under four yards per carry in every game.
48:45He only has one touchdown. We're not that big believers in the offense.
48:48We think this is more of a fluky win against Seattle than something sustainable long term.
48:53I think that's the type of thing you might hear people say.
48:56So to me, he feels like pretty affordable. Whereas Corham is like such an upside play that like I actually don't know.
49:03Like I feel like I feel like Krosky-Merritt might be cheaper, but he can help you sooner than Corham because Corham is
49:09like Corham will contribute without an injury, but he won't be a superstar without an injury, if that makes sense.
49:15I would agree with that. And to a note that you had made earlier when we were talking about Hampton in the
49:21last couple weeks, I did have I did list Bill as my sell last week.
49:25So I could not just capitulate and be like, well, now he's a buy, even though that is I kind of agree
49:32with everything you were saying about his price. And that's why I went to hold because it's like week to week, right?
49:38It's like one week is a buy. Next week we hold.
49:41And then in the week three, we capitulate and sell.
