0:04Grainger, for the ones who get it done. Grainger, catch some bench spots, and my fellow drafters, we've got Andrew Erickson, we've
0:10got Derek Brown, and we've got the Athletics' own Jake Seeley with our Discord members.
0:14This is going to be a little bit of chaos, and Erickson, it's kind of hard not to see the shirt that's going on.
0:21Is Drake Maye or AJ Brown going to be in Target?
0:24That is the loudest, but it looks great on you.
0:27A lot of shirts I've ever seen. I need to put these on.
0:30Yeah, yeah. Actually, hold on. Yeah. Erickson, keep going, please.
0:33High chance that I get AJ Brown in this draft.
0:36Probably not going to get Drake May. He's not part of my perfect draft strategy this year, but AJB, he's in the forecast for sure.
0:43Okay, okay, we got that. I mean, I look away for a second, so hold on a second, I'm looking away.
0:49All right, Derrick Brown, prepare for pain as mentioned.
0:51We have one of our Discord members that's in this that is going to absolutely wreck your draft strategy.
0:57But you know what? I think you need it, brother.
0:59I think you need a big old test in this draft strategy where you're in a room where someone knows exactly what
1:06you're going to do, and it's going to get nasty, D-Bro.
1:09Every mock draft Monday, I'm in the Discord. So if you're not in the Discord, I don't know what you're doing, but
1:15every mock draft Monday and every mock draft I do with Grimm, he's that snives me incessantly.
1:20So I'm just ready for pain and overreactions here.
1:22And Jake, like what, are you afraid of the sun, sir?
1:25No, this is for Erickson's shirt. You're still looking at Erickson's shirt.
1:28I just have two pairs sitting over here because I had to, I forgot these on the vacation.
1:34And then so I bought these little $8 ones from Walmart that were still sitting here.
1:38So yeah. You might be able to see what I'm planning.
1:41So I can't really like, yeah, we can see your queue.
1:44Why don't you just keep those on? Yeah. Also, you're not going to see the T-shirt because we cut off for these
1:50very small boxes, but I am wearing my shirt when you said pain.
1:54I don't know if anybody knows the reference. No.
1:56Do you know the reference? Nobody here? Why don't you tell the audio listeners too?
2:01Yeah, go ahead, Jake. The Naruto reference. So by the way, I'm wearing the Anatsuka shirt.
2:05No, sorry. I appreciate it. I'm disappointed in all of you.
2:08Yeah, it's not. All of you. This is a Wendy, sir.
2:11This is a, I'm not going to be able to get that reference, but what we can get is some mock drafting.
2:17And so if you guys not only want to follow along, but you want to do this yourself, you can jump over
2:23to the draft wizard at any time. And I highly suggest you do it because today's half PPR mock draft is on fantasypros.com slash draft wizard.
2:31And you can take part with these multi-user drafts, allowing you to practice quick and fun mock drafts against both real like
2:37we're doing here or the CPU, the robots, those opponents.
2:40And it uses the same easy interface. As our draft simulator.
2:43You can join a public mock draft or create a private one for your friends over at fantasypros.com slash draft wizard.
2:49You can test out all the theories of the things you've been thinking about in drafts.
2:53All of a sudden, Chuba Hubbard's down and where can I get Jonathan Brooks now?
2:57We'll come and talk about, we're going to talk about that in the show and you can experiment with that.
3:03So get in the draft wizard today. But before you do hang around as we are going to be mock drafting here.
3:09So we've got some of our best friends. We've got some of our best analysts in here and we are going to kick this bad boy off.
3:17And from the drafting perspective, people are yelling at us for not taking the middle spots, I think, in a previous draft.
3:23So if I remember correctly, I'm at 10. Erickson's at eight.
3:26Debro wins straight five. And then Seeley, where did you take?
3:29Did you take two or three? I took two.
3:31I haven't been in the one, two spot yet.
3:34So I was kind of curious about that. Similar to Andrew's specifically only going for his leagues of where he's drafting.
3:40I'm trying to pick a different spot every single time so we get a little bit of different analysis.
3:45That's why my team name is what it is for Andrew finally not being in the 11th, which I appreciate it.
3:51But just jokes aside, I just try to get like every different spot and kind of see how drafts fall.
3:56Yeah. And everybody takes the drafting process different, by the way.
4:00Like whether it is testing out theories, whether it is just going into the right position and drafting and winning every single time.
4:06Like it's all there's no wrong answer, if you will.
4:09Jameer Gibbs was the one one. We had B.
4:11John Robinson, Jamar Chase, and then Amon Ross St.
4:14Brown. So you could you guys screwed up all the names?
4:17So it's going to screw me up here. B.
4:19John Robinson, not too much of an issue for you, Celia.
4:22And thank you guys for changing those names. It's going to be an absolute nightmare for me this entire show.
4:28But talk about B. John real quick. There's only two that like not 11th is Andrew.
4:32Thank God. Andrew isn't 11th is me. And I'm here not to get sniped as Debra.
4:37I'm not going to be able to follow him.
4:39I'm just here so I don't get sniped. All right.
4:42Well, what? OK, so give me a quick B.
4:45John breakdown at two here. Is that a gift?
4:47I would actually take B. John and one mostly because this was even before the offensive line injury.
4:52And I know we're nitpicking here, but I just find it strange that everybody's talking about all the competition for B.
4:58John, which Tyler Algier just had all those touches last year and Brian Robinson is going to get more.
5:03No, he's not. But also the fact that he's still going to be second, if not third at worst in the pecking order when it comes to reception.
5:11So I think that got overlooked for last year, that over 100 targets and the fact that he outscored Gibbs in PPR.
5:17Now, I'll admit Gibbs has the higher ceiling. I just think that B.
5:21John has almost just as high a ceiling again, just beat him in points per game last year.
5:26And I like his floor slightly better. I think we're kind of the Lions are starting to feel a little bit with 49ers ish.
5:33And like every day we wake up and there's another injury.
5:36All right. So then coming off of B. John, we had Jamar Chase.
5:39We had a monitor St. Brown going for Messer took Puka Nakua and then D bro.
5:44You jumped in with a Christian McCaffrey, actually. The six get sniped.
5:47Did you get sniped? I did not. I did not get sniped, although I was surprised that Puka fell.
5:53But, you know, possible suspension news. I get it.
5:55But yeah, man, like again, I've said this before.
5:58I mean, really, this was between CMC and James Cook for me.
6:01And I just went with Christian McCaffrey. I easily could have gone James Cook with this pick.
6:06But CMC, I've said it before and I'll say it again.
6:09It's a binary decision. If he stays healthy, he's a top two running back.
6:13If he gets hurt, you're screwed. It's that simple.
6:15I thought a tiny bit when I was in the flex draft, I had the option of Puka Nakua or to jump in and get Christian McCaffrey.
6:23Had I had the news and the injury and all that, I probably would have gone McCaffrey over Puka.
6:28But that's why we went there. I am up here and I am going to take this guy and then we are going to jump over.
6:35And hopefully that was a snipe. After Christian McCaffrey, we had Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, Jackson Smith in Jigpa.
6:41And I passed over because of your names. James Cook went to you, Erickson.
6:45So I actually also went with this running back side.
6:47But talk to us about James Cook. I know that D-Bro is heavy in those streets.
6:52You seem to be as well. Yeah, I like James Cook a lot.
6:55I think that he's shown a lot of progression throughout his NFL career over the last three seasons.
7:002023, he was very good in the passing game.
7:032024, he scored 18 touchdowns. And last year he led the NFL in rushing yards.
7:07So I think that he's a player that is in his prime.
7:10He plays in one of the best offices in the NFL where we've already seen this play caller, now head coach, use
7:17James Cook in a variety of different ways. And all the praise out of training camp is they're going to use him more in the passing game.
7:24So he just checks off all the boxes of a player that could be a top three running back.
7:29So getting him at the end of round one.
7:32He's one of my favorite picks. If you are picking eight, nine, ten, because oftentimes very available to you there.
7:38So JSN went nine. Boy, I would have like lost it.
7:41Why did JSN drop so much? I think that's a good thing.
7:44He did the same thing in both flex leagues.
7:46I think I think everybody's scared about the offensive scheme changing.
7:50I guess JSN is not going to. I don't know.
7:52I would have. I would have jumped at it.
7:55I went with a little bit of a different thing than I've done in other drafts because also I jumped in at ten.
8:01I went with Jinty at ten. We had two wide receiver to running back.
8:05I really liked the depth that wide receiver Jinty is going to do a bit of everything.
8:10So I picked him at ten and then I came back around thinking like Lamb and Jefferson were there.
8:15I usually don't ever pass up Jefferson. I did this time hoping one of Lamb, Jefferson or London maybe fall.
8:21They didn't. But then my consolation prize was AJ Brown.
8:24And so I went with an AJ Brown Jinty stack to start this off here.
8:28The rest of that round ended up going C.D.
8:30Lamb. That was the biggest sigh ever. Did somebody get sniped?
8:33Good Lord. Yes. Was that your snipe? No, it's not me.
8:36No, that was mine. That haunted me. Uh, C.D.
8:39Lamb, Justin Jefferson finished out the first round. London, uh, uh, Chase Brown.
8:43I took AJ Brown, Barkley, and then Erickson. Let's jump back to you in the second.
8:47You took Brock Bowers. So you started the tight end run.
8:50Yes, I have been experimenting with Brock Bowers in round two.
8:53I think that it's something that if you want to go early round tight end, it's important to do these practice and
8:59get these reps in because your build is going to be way different than if you go with a running back wide
9:05receiver start because then you're playing catch up at some of these other positions.
9:09So I'm hoping that we don't get an insane wide receiver run like we did the last mock draft and Dick Ercolano
9:16where I think we had like nine or 10 wide receivers drafted in a row.
9:20So that will definitely nuke me here, but picking closer to the middle.
9:23Hopefully I don't get left in the dust and hopefully I can make up ground at receiver in rounds three and four
9:30because I think Brock Bowers, man, he could just break fantasy football this year.
9:33Yeah, planets align and he just sees a JSN S type of target share, which I think is more than possible based
9:40on the other Raiders receivers in the offense and based on how good Brock Bowers is when he's fully healthy being ready to go.
9:46Just the only thing holding him back is like, I mean, he's Kirk Cousins just told dust and Mendoza's a rookie quarterback.
9:52But that being said, 30% target share can make up a lot from quarterback efficiency standpoint.
9:57I'm super interested in this one. So Pickens went to six and then to seven D bro.
10:02You went Ken Walker, not that it was Ken Walker that you went Ken Walker over a Marion Hampton.
10:07And is this you at all showing a little bit of the fear of the three rounds a fear, but you know what I'm saying?
10:14Like they're going to run the three backs and they're kind of throwing that in our face.
10:19And do we need to consider any type of drop?
10:21Did that play a role in your pick of Ken Walker over Hampton at all?
10:26It did. I mean, the top of the queue for me was Ken Walker, Marion Hampton and Derek Henry, and they go in succession here for me.
10:33And I think where you're just splitting the difference between somebody like Walker and Hampton, if both of those guys are going
10:39to be 60 to 65, 70% snap share players, then I don't have to worry about who's getting the red zone work for for Casey.
10:46So I'm not worried about that as I would be opposed to some of the Chargers news coming out.
10:52And I don't think it's like obviously got coffin nail for Hampton.
10:55I think he should still go in this range, but if you're splitting hairs at these running backs that you're taking around too.
11:01I mean, I definitely I moved after some of that news.
11:04I moved Ken Walker right above a Marion Hampton, but I think you can make a case for any of those three backs.
11:11Really interesting. Derek Henry went to nine Devon HN and then Sealy, you did the tight end that you we just weren't
11:17going to have any host come out with without the big tight end.
11:21So you went with McBride kind of a I was a little interested in it just because simply, you know, your projections
11:27you've talked about on these shows, your projections have had Loveland coming in at number one that maybe you weren't willing to risk going third round.
11:34You just have much more faith in McBride. Yeah, it's not so much, much more faith.
11:38It's what I mean, there's twofold here is one is yes, that exasperated side was wanting HN as my RB to at
11:45the end and then like all four of those running backs went and I just as a sidebar, it has nothing to
11:51do with the 40 touches and we're gonna have to carry him off the field because Fitz mentioned it on the other show.
11:57Let's remember that Hackett was going to run CJ Spiller until he puked.
12:01So I don't really care about that when it comes to the touches.
12:04HN is going to be HN even on what we think is a bad offense.
12:09So that's why I still like him there. But it came down to looking at the wide receivers of a lot of
12:15a versus the group who I still got the next pick just looping into the conversation.
12:19I kind of felt like there was four or five wide receivers were in the same conversation and then the running backs
12:25was that HN was the clear drop off for me like to get into the rest of the running backs where like
12:32so that's why it was an exasperated side and that's why I went with McBride because I was like, you know what?
12:38Loveland's not going to make it back to me all the way to the end of the fourth round.
12:43So McBride I think is getting a little bit too much hate for like, oh, well, you know, preset through 800 times
12:49a game and it might not be preset the entire season is like, I don't care.
12:54I don't care if it's the next coming to Peyton Manning, Carson Beckett, like we just saw in the preseason.
12:59I don't care if it's Carson Beck is terrible and we know that it's the fact that still 140 plus targets.
13:05He's coming off 160. So it's like 140. I'm still thinking he's going to be top one, two tight end at worst.
13:11Uh, Nico Collins was the final pick in the second round.
13:14And then we flip over. There it is. Malik neighbors, Malik neighbors, uh, almost slipped into the second round.
13:20He was the first pick in the third round.
13:22He went above a lava Devonta Smith, Zay flowers, Mech egg Buka, uh, is anybody against this?
13:27You can any, any students raise your hand. If you are firmly against neighbors, I am.
13:31I'm assuming, well, let's assume for my conversation here that a Buka is fine.
13:35It sounds like it's just as toe. He got rolled up on.
13:39I would still take a Buka. I would still take flowers being fine.
13:42Uh, and then it really comes down to Devonta Smith and T Higgins.
13:46That's around the range that I'm now willing to invest in Malik neighbors.
13:49I still think that, yeah, we could get him being with neighbors, but there's, it's funny that we're kind of like glossing
13:56over the concerns that everybody has for Jackson dart is a passer.
13:59And then we're just like, Oh, Malik neighbors is going to be fine with Jackson dart, which he could be.
14:04I mean, he's been fine with other quarterbacks. They're lesser quality.
14:08Tommy DeVito was fine with him. All that being said, and that we might not have a hundred percent neighbors week one,
14:14it might be week two, three, four, whatever it might be.
14:17It's just a lot of questions where you want to take them there.
14:20Cool. I'm okay with it. I just think there's fewer questions with those other two or three guys.
14:25And that was probably your gift because you took a lava right after that.
14:29That was your three, two pick. So a lava easy get for you.
14:33Devonta Smith just went, uh, three, three Colson Loveland.
14:35So there there's our third tight end in the first three rounds.
14:39I Debro, you've talked a lot about this, not to belabor this, but like Loveland is going to continue moving up and Loveland continues to move up.
14:46There was a time where it was like Bowers and McBride were most likely second.
14:51Maybe you could have like one cool draft where they dropped a third and then Loveland would be a fourth.
14:56I think actually you and I did an episode really early in the year where it was like, we were doing picks by round.
15:03And I think you move Loveland up because you're just like, sorry guys, he's going to move up.
15:08And here it is. Yeah. And here it is.
15:10And I mean, we're seeing like the Luther burden injury.
15:13We still are kind of iffy about Rome's foot.
15:16I think Loveland is going to be a consistent third round pick.
15:19Um, and I think the gap between him and Trey McBride probably closes a little bit more too, as we get further into draft season.
15:26Um, I think Buka went to Messer and then you guys say flowers, uh, Debro.
15:30So, so no Loveland. I don't know if Messer, uh, screwed with you here.
15:34Uh, I can't imagine. I mean, I'm, I'm a flowers guy.
15:37I'm actually surprised flowers drop like this. So talk to us about the flowers pick.
15:41I was going to take flowers over a Mecca, but I mean, I have them like right next to each other and
15:47rankings wide receiver 13 and 15, uh, respectively. But I mean, like the top of my board was trying to, again, going
15:54back to, and looking at this format, I started running back, running back with CMC and Walker.
15:58So now really trying to hit wide receiver and kind of see what falls to me here with only two, two wide
16:05receivers, uh, that you have to start in this format felt good about waiting on wide receiver, getting my two running backs
16:11and flowers would have been my top pick here.
16:13Anyway. I mean, we've talked about it, like Erickson and I have talked about it on a crap ton of shows right
16:19now, Jake, I don't know where you sit on flowers.
16:22Yeah. The anime kid down there had a question, the anime kid in the first row.
16:27What was your question? I was going to, I was going to let Debro finish.
16:31I do have a question. I mean, I'm raising my hand in the back of the class.
16:36Uh, I do like flowers. I like sitting in flowers.
16:38They're comfortable and smelling great. Uh, I am in on flowers.
16:41The, there's two things here is one is I'm glad that Debro said that I forgot to mention with McBride is that
16:48we only have two wide receivers does play a part in billion being willing to take McBride too.
16:53But the other part, two wide receivers, speaking of wide receivers, breaking news while we're doing this, I don't know if everybody
16:59else in the chat's going to see this Jordan Tyson left with a hamstring injury.
17:03So I didn't see that when he came to it.
17:06Yeah. So that's, there you go. All right. Well, picking back up here, uh, that is bad news.
17:11We had Josh Allen. Uh, this is very interesting.
17:13Rashid Rice Erickson. Did we just do an episode where we were talking?
17:17Rashid Rice. I thought, uh, at least for some, this was becoming kind of a no drafty type of guy, but you take him at three, eight.
17:24Was this just too good of a deal? Did it make too much sense with your build?
17:29Talk to us about Rashid Rice, because I feel like the public perception, as far as like a lot of fantasy analysts
17:35are going drafting, doesn't feel like a target people are looking at in the third round.
17:40Did you mean to take Cyrus Allen Erickson? No, I did not mean to take Cyrus Allen.
17:44I meant to take Rashid Rice. I think that the value here is good for him and the upside he can offer.
17:51He was a top five wide receiver last year in points per game.
17:54I get that there's concerns for him, no doubt, but that's why you're getting him at the end of round three, beginning of round four, potentially.
18:01I got, I had no wide receiver. So he's my wide receiver one, but he has top five wide receiver upside.
18:07So again, I get that he's not everyone's cup of tea.
18:10Totally understand that he's a very boomer bus type of pick, but he was a boomer bus type of pick last year too.
18:17And his price fell. And when you're in these drafts, there's going to be a lot of people that don't want Rashid
18:23Rice and you're going to see him fall potentially into round four.
18:26And I think that's worth scooping up the value.
18:29All right. And then we finished out as I had to give a little pause to catch up.
18:34We had Tedro McMillan gets to me. None of the, I wasn't in love with the whiteout situation.
18:39So I did drop a running back. I took, um, Sealy's favorite pick Kyron Williams, every mock that we've done, it's Kyron Williams time.
18:46So yeah, you dropped in with Kyron Williams. Uh, I'm really torn here on my pick at T Higgins, Jeremiah love finished
18:52out the third round and I decided to go with Garrett Wilson, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Waddle.
18:56I was just back and forth with it, trying to get some, uh, big time receptions in between those picks.
19:02We had T Higgins, Jeremiah love, as I mentioned, fourth round was Lamar Jackson, Brees hall.
19:06I took Garrett Wilson, Josh Jacobs is up, uh, or just went and then, and I actually thought Josh Jacobs might fall
19:12a little bit with some of that like weird suspension news that was kind of floating out there and maybe scaring people.
19:19Um, but I don't think he really did too much.
19:21And then Erickson, you went with Jalen Waddle. So that makes a lot of sense is, uh, I don't remember your team build.
19:28Is it Rashid, right? Yeah. Cause you took a tight end.
19:31So did you just do Rashid rice and Jalen Waddle as you're starting wide outs?
19:35Yes, I did. This is, I like the receivers in this range for that.
19:39And that's why I feel like at least comfortable going with an early round tight end, especially when you only have to
19:45start two wide receivers having an early round tight end, I think gives you a little bit of advantage having elite tight
19:51end when there's less starters at the other positions that your opponents can play against you.
19:56So while I feel good about his touchdown upside in this Broncos offense, you look at how many red zone targets, Cortland
20:02Sutton and Troy Franklin combined for last year. I mean, it was crazy to see Troy Franklin up there with all of the alphas.
20:09I'm on Ross St. Brown, Devante Adams and Troy Franklin's name is up there.
20:12And like the amount of sheer red zone and two point conversions he saw last year.
20:17I think Jalen Waddle is going to see a ton of that stuff, presuming that he is, uh, not in the blue medical tent.
20:24So fingers crossed. I feel like I have a little bit of buyer's remorse.
20:28Like I just kind of wanted to take Waddle and I went with Garrett Wilson.
20:32I've got them really close to each other. So there's, I feel like it's a little buyer's remorse.
20:37And I'd also note if we were doing three wide receiver strategies would probably alter a little bit.
20:42Obviously you have to roster more wide receivers. Uh, you can be a little bit more picky, uh, even though you're going
20:48to still have to have that flex spot, uh, after Waddle, it went Javante Williams.
20:52And then we had Terry McLaurin to D bro.
20:55Yeah, I was hoping for Waddle there. I knew Erickson was not going to let him fall to me.
21:00So I was happy with, uh, McLaurin. I didn't really move his rank with the signing of Stefan Diggs.
21:05I still think that he's going to be the clear number one.
21:09We have to see what Diggs is route share is going to be this year.
21:13I think it does move up considering he was basically Christian Watson for the Patriots last year.
21:17But I think McLaurin is still a locked in top 20 wide receiver for me with wide receiver one upside.
21:23Like none of that's changed. Did you not move Terry at all after Tunsil went down?
21:28No. I mean, they're still going to throw the freaking ball.
21:31Yeah. That was Fitzy Erickson. I were talking a lot about like, where it is like Jaden Daniels.
21:36That was a big one too. Like where does Jaden Daniels go?
21:39So what are the other pieces have to adjust?
21:41He's still going to run. Um, but I mean, that didn't move their, their ranks, but you don't you think so?
21:47My, at least my perception was, if you lose your stud left tackle, who's your best pass protector, you just can't operate downfield as much.
21:54And that's where Terry does a lot of his damage is as a downfield threat.
21:59So that, that also we got a different offense coming in.
22:02That just concerns me about Terry without Tunsil. Yeah.
22:04If we were talking more about the Kingsbury offense where he was stuck to one side of the formation, he's not going to get moved around.
22:11I think more creativity that maybe I'll be a little bit more worried, but you know, maybe this is also me given,
22:17you know, David Blau, a lot of, uh, flowers and we don't know what he's going to do this at this point,
22:24but I do think he's going to get different, uh, usage than we've seen in previous years.
22:28So the target quarterback yeah, like Josh Allen, Jaden Daniels, Lamar Jackson, probably named two or three others that they can manipulate the pocket and extend the plays.
22:36Even if things break down, like if we were talking about statue, Eli Manning back in the day, or somebody like Matthew
22:42Stafford, I think we'd have a, like, I think I'm not saying we, as in all of us, cause if you still disagree, that's fine.
22:49But I think I'm more with Debro on the fact that I'm not that concerned, uh, with Tunsil.
22:54I mean, I think it adds a little bit more risk if they now lose another piece, like that's kind of where you go with it.
23:02Okay. Picking back up. We had Messer taking Christian Watson's, uh, Cam Scadaboo went four, nine Travis Etienne.
23:07And then we had Lad McConkie going to you, uh, Sealy.
23:10Lad McConkie was kind of up on that list of like those, that little stack of wide receivers that was interesting.
23:16Uh, was this a pick that you were like really excited about or was this kind of like, well, this is run to the podium.
23:23Oh, okay. Yeah. Like get my pick in. Like this is like, it was easy, easy peasy.
23:27Uh, I just did an article on the athletic.
23:30It's my guys. Uh, one of my guys is Lad McConkie.
23:33I truly believe that I think Quentin Johnston can break through even more.
23:36We finally got some of the coming out of college, learn to use his hands, learn to run routes a little bit better.
23:43Still need some work there, but I think he can be the clear number two for McDaniel.
23:48But I think the question is, is like, is it him?
23:51Do we see Trey Harris step forward around a gas and blah, blah.
23:54What do we know? Lad McConkie is the one and Lad McConkie is the one.
23:59And what like Daniel loves to do is work over the middle and do things after the play or after the reception with the wide receiver.
24:06I just love the fit in the offense. And I think that a lot of people were burned last year coming off
24:12a fringe wide receiver, rookie wide receiver one performance.
24:14And then he kind of crapped the bed last year and now people are hesitant and I'm back on a hundred percent.
24:21Uh, the, in between your picks, we had, uh, you took Lad, we had DeAndre Swift, Jameson Williams, and then at five, two, you took Quinch on Judkins.
24:28So you were able to get a wide receiver running back combo, which I really love.
24:33I like that Judkins pick. What did Judkins, what did you end up pairing Judkins with in that pick?
24:38Who's your other running back? Or do you have one?
24:41Bijan. Yeah, Bijan. So Bijan Judkins is like relatively sick.
24:44Are you, uh, subscribing to the theory? I know DeBrow has definitely been pretty adamant about this that like, actually, I think so.
24:50I don't want to assume or project onto DeBrow, but that Quinch on Judkins can be more involved in the pass game.
24:56Absolutely. Quinch on Judkins, Jonathan Taylor, we could go down this list of running backs that are better, generating price, better pass
25:02catchers than people realize because of the usage and because of where the offenses they come from.
25:07That being said, I don't expect Judkins to catch 50, 60 balls.
25:11Like it just comes down to my biggest concern is, and we are on this network.
25:15So shout out to the, I do it a lot of times.
25:18I always bring up Mike Tagliere when he wrote the article about bottom five offenses and not having RB1 performances.
25:24That being said, the Todd Munkin, Ryan Switzer offense, leaning on a bell cow option, even if it's only 30 receptions and
25:30250 carries, we're approaching 300 touches and he could get more than 300 touches.
25:34And he did score seven touchdowns in his games last year.
25:37So even if it's only five or six, it's more about the 300 touches.
25:41I know this offense is going to stink, but I think that you're talking about somebody that's going as a backend RB2
25:47with top 15 upside, if he's getting 300 touches and there's potential more for that.
25:51So I am, I am very strongly in on Judkins.
25:54If Judkins would have went, I would have, you would have heard another exasperated side I would have liked it.
26:00We'll just, we'll do a super cut. Someone do a super cut of all of the size from the size.
26:05Yeah, exactly. There's another one coming here in a second.
26:08It might be, if I were a better host, I would have transitioned this when we had the conversation about this player,
26:14but I want to take a stop here for a second for a winning opportunity for you guys.
26:19And if you would like an opportunity to win an incredibly awesome autographed Jersey, this is going to be at Colson Loveland signed bears Jersey.
26:26Here's what you've got to do. All you've got to do is subscribe to the fantasy pros YouTube channel.
26:32Do that right now. Drop a comment below on any of our videos, by the way, but since you're here, you might
26:38as well do it on this one. And then we're going to be announcing a winner on the channel.
26:43So make sure to turn on notifications because you don't want to miss your opportunity to claim this prize because you do have to claim it.
26:50And then obviously also when we've got new videos up, Colson Loveland autographed Jersey can be yours courtesy of fantasy pros.
26:56All right. Um, we had the pickup. We had Judkins, Tyler Warren.
26:59I, I might've sighed on that one. Cause I was like, Oh my God, he's still there.
27:04And I probably was never getting back to me.
27:07Uh, DJ more, uh, went five, four David Montgomery.
27:09And then Jalen hurts. You jumped into the quarterback market and you were you and Jalen hurts over Joe burrow.
27:15Cause I'm staring at Joe burrow right now. We had another little pause here for a second.
27:20I'm staring down the, the shoot for Joe burrow desperately for this next pick.
27:23If he doesn't go, uh, why Jalen hurts over bro.
27:26So top of my queue got wiped out. I was in on Tyler Warren and David Montgomery.
27:31And there you go. Grim for snipe of the, uh, mock here.
27:34Um, and honestly, like I, I was between Drake may and Jalen hurts.
27:38I flip flop. Who's my QB two and QB three on a daily basis.
27:42I think we're going to see a big bounce back season from Jalen hurts for everybody that said he cannot throw over the middle.
27:49Uh, he's doing it really freaking well in training camp.
27:51And that's without like, you know, learning the new offense and stuff like that.
27:55I think like all the flowers have been given to Declan Doyle and stuff.
27:59I've said it all off season. There's no difference between Lamar Jackson situation and what we could expect from him this year versus Jalen hurts.
28:06Although they are massively different, uh, different in ADP.
28:09Uh, Erickson's rude and I would like to vote for him.
28:12Well, hold on. If I'm going to talk to Erickson here for a second, let me put my glasses back on Erickson.
28:18Uh, if I'm going to look over at you for a second, a little loud on that shirt there, but, uh, I
28:24was completely dialed in for Mike Evans and you came in, uh, in between the Roman dunes.
28:29They went after the Jalen hurts pick at five, seven, but five, eight Erickson, you took Mike Evans.
28:34It was a hundred percent going to be my pick.
28:37So, you know, touchdown equity substations be damned. You're still locked into Evans.
28:40Yeah. Especially in a half PPR format where touchdowns are so critical.
28:44I mean, that's how Mike Evans produces in fantasy in 2026, not necessarily racking up a ton of volume, but making downfield plays, catching touchdowns from Brock Purdy.
28:51That is the goal here by drafting him as my third wide receiver.
28:55So in a two wide receiver set where you have to start, I have him on my flex.
29:00It's very rude. It's very rude. Who's one of the highest efficient touchdown to the temps passer in the league?
29:06Brock Purdy. Brock Purdy. Yep. Would have been nice.
29:08Yeah. Would love all these cool stats. Glad you didn't wear your 49ers shirt today.
29:12I have one. I've got it. I got a lot.
29:15I got a super loud one. You can pause the draft.
29:18Yeah. There's no chance. You know what? If I finish first, if I win this draft, I will pause it and I
29:24will go change into that shirt and I will do the rest of the show in there.
29:29Uh, then Drake may went right after and I thought Drake may was like a really great value.
29:34I couldn't get him. So I ended up going with Bucky Irving.
29:37That's a third running back. I thought Bucky was just way too good of a value.
29:42And it's kind of a, I have like a backdrop for it with already having the other two running backs.
29:48So having an elite player there, the wide receivers, I did not love.
29:51And then in between there, Devante Adams, Luther Burden finished out the fifth round.
29:55I was curious if Burden might. Behind Adunze. Yeah.
29:58I was curious if, uh, oh yeah, that's a good point.
30:01I was curious if Burden would fall further, but he did go after Adunze in this one.
30:05And that was the end of the fifth round.
30:08Oh my God. I just got sniped. Oh, oh my heart.
30:11I literally said I wanted Joe Burrow. Mine always was for you, Welsh.
30:15I know. Mine always was for you. They can't hear me.
30:18They can't hear me. No, I know. No, they can hear you.
30:21The Discord, they just have a way of being able to, to see.
30:25Erickson, just put it in the Discord. Hey, no, grab Burrow.
30:28Please. I'm actually live streaming this for my other account.
30:31This is, uh, I can't, they literally, I'll pause the whole thing.
30:34All right. Uh, screw you, D-Bro. I'm taking Parker Washington.
30:37Dang it! I knew he wasn't going to make it to me.
30:40Can I do it with more breaking news? Yeah, suck it, Trebek.
30:43Oh my God. No. Who else might do that?
30:46No, no, this one's hilarious. Like, it's only bleeding from his face and he's okay.
30:50No injury. But Puka Dukua ran into a glass door.
30:53Oh my God. At a party. What? This dude, he didn't see the glass.
30:57It's like one of those clips you see on Instagram.
31:00I mean, um, at least he didn't bite it.
31:02Puka's a pigeon? Puka's a bird? Okay. I mean, yeah.
31:05This dude, like, I mean, Julio Jones is like, man, you're, you're, you always have something going on.
31:10Erickson, for real. You take him five when he, all he can do is bite people and run into glass.
31:15He's literally like a dog. Okay. And score fantasy points.
31:18He does that. He scores a lot of good fantasy points, but he, I mean, okay.
31:23All right. So he's a dog. I got snatched really bad on Joe Monroe.
31:27I took Parker Washington. Yeah, but you made an amazing pick.
31:30Yeah, it was an amazing pick. I a hundred percent agree.
31:33I took Parker Washington over Carnell Tate. We've had a lot of conversation about where he ends up going.
31:38Uh, I, I do believe he'll be the number one.
31:41I think this is going to be very target heavy and that gives me a lot of extra depth here.
31:46Also, if Bucky doesn't end up, you know, if it takes a couple of weeks or there's any adjustment period, like Parker Washington kind of provides me that.
31:54So I'm happy with that pick. Tucker Kraft went next and then there is the one.
31:59Here's the one. He sucks. Jonathan Brooks, Erickson. We were talking about this.
32:02Jonathan Brooks officially going over Chuba Hubbard in this one and the sixth round I think is the highest I've seen.
32:08Yeah. This is where he went in a best ball draft I did with Tom Strachan, but this was before we got any news about Chuba Hubbard.
32:16So I feel like this is kind of like an appropriate range.
32:19Again, I haven't completely updated all my rankings in terms of factoring in that Hubbard's going to been labeled as week to week with a hamstring injury.
32:27That's an MRI too. So he's not even live ready for week one.
32:30So I mean, Brooks right now just has an opportunity to seize the RB one role.
32:35And as we saw last year, Hubbard is no guarantee to get his starting role back if someone else is producing while he's out.
32:41So if the Panthers face the bears in week one, like this is Brooks's chance to like come out of the gates,
32:48red hot flash that pass, catching upside past that explosiveness and relegate Chuba Hubbard to backup duties.
32:52So I think in this range where you're looking for upside in these middle rounds of running backs, again, like I took
32:58him over to it and I'm not so sure I love that.
33:02Oh my gosh. I did not realize you did that over to him.
33:05That's the thing. Like, but I think he's in that breath where toot is another guy you're betting on taking a leap
33:12again, flash as a rookie, obviously Brooks has missed time because of injuries, but I think that it's a similar type of
33:18bet, even like a Jadarian price as well. Again, a rookie coming in a little bit of an unknown commodity, but we
33:24know that there's upside attached to him in this particular offense.
33:27So I think that there's like, that's just trying to get an idea of the range and there's no guarantee Brooks will
33:33go this high potentially, but obviously the steam is going to continue to rise.
33:37So I don't know if you guys like disagree with like, again, where he's being ranked, but these other running backs is
33:43like obviously subjective, but like in this conversation, am I like ludicrous putting him here or is this appropriate?
33:48What do you guys think? What do you think, D bro?
33:52I don't think it's ludicrous, but I've got him in the sixth round.
33:55But if you do tootin versus Brooks, does that feel too off?
33:58No, I have tootin over Brooks still, but like, again, could all of this flip if we get more reporting that Chris
34:05Rodriguez is going to be a problem? This is a three-way backfield.
34:08Brooks, I know Brooks' ADP this week as we're recording of this.
34:11Hubbard is hurt. Brooks is going to play in the preseason game.
34:15He needs to rip one big run and then his ADP is going to go through the damn room.
34:20Real-time ADP is just, there's a shout out. Fantasy Pro's real-time ADP.
34:23You want to see, it'll be like, it'll be like cryptocurrency.
34:26People are going to get rich. It's going to go whang.
34:29It's going to just fly up. If he breaks a 50 yarder, it's going to be like third round.
34:35We just need Dave Canales to be like, yeah, I'm buying, I'm buying Jonathan Brooks' stock.
34:39Yeah. A hundred percent. We'll have the JB coin.
34:42One step here. So as it like week to week, I would move Brooks over Tootin because I know the work share potentially.
34:48A lot of it, we're basing that we just want to know that Brooks looks anything like we did at a college.
34:54The side of the Tootin, let's remember last year, this time, we're sitting here right now, go back a full 365.
35:00What did this team say last year? Oh, Travis Etchen, whatever his name is now, is going to be sharing with Tank Bigsby.
35:07How did that work out? Like, I'm not worried about this whole, all three running backs are going to be involved situation.
35:13I'm still high on Tootin. Heck, I just took them.
35:16And, but at the point still being is I would move Brooks one spot in front of him with this Hubbard news.
35:22I would have taken Tootin if you didn't take him, Jake.
35:25So I'm sorry. I couldn't let him go. I couldn't let him go.
35:28I got him in flex. I would have taken Tootin if I didn't take Brooks.
35:33So full disclosure. Everybody taking Tootins. Okay. I like that.
35:35All right. Uh, picking back up. I'm like, Oh, picking back up where we were.
35:40Uh, Jonathan Brooks was the last pick. Six, six.
35:42We had Harold Fannin, uh, Carnell Tate goes six, seven Pollard at eight, Caleb Williams, Jadarian Price, Jaden Daniels, and then Trevor Lawrence.
35:48So the things to jump in here was, uh, Debro Tate.
35:52That was kind of what I was looking at.
35:54It was like Carnell Tate or Parker Washington. So hopefully you agree and feel that you got the lesser of the gets since I didn't get Joe Burrow.
36:02You had to also take less. I get Parker Washington.
36:05Yeah. Yeah. Parker Washington, Jonathan Brooks, facial Tootin, top of my queue.
36:08It's been a, it's been a fun time. The last few picks.
36:11Why don't you guys pick in the middle? Yeah.
36:14Yeah. There you go. Exactly. Uh, Tony Pollard, uh, as mentioned, let me go down here.
36:18Where were we? Uh, Jaden Daniels. So Jaden Daniels right before, by the way, the Trevor Lawrence pick that was like, Oh, I wanted that next round.
36:26But, um, Jaden Daniels at six 11. I had to, yeah, this is kind of, this might be the representation of what this drop looks like.
36:33Right. Right. I, I think this is insane even with the injury, because again, if we were talking more purely passing, sure.
36:39I understand it, but let's go back to his rookie season.
36:42It's not like that was the world's best offensive line that they've ever seen.
36:46So I'm still okay with Jaden Daniels as what we were doing last year with Jaden Daniels, drafting him as a top
36:52three quarterback last year, because if we listed out the quarterbacks that could potentially unseat Josh Allen as the number one quarterback,
36:59our hand one hand would include Lamar Jackson, Jaden Daniels, Drake may, and maybe that's about it.
37:03I mean, we could probably toss another one or two in there, but Jaden Daniels is going to make the short list.
37:09So I'm okay. Six 11. I didn't want to do it taking McBride, but again, the format being too wide receiver makes it a little bit more palatable.
37:17Uh, it's just that the slide was too much for me.
37:20Yeah. Trevor Lawrence at six 12, uh, at the seventh round, we had Jordan Tyson tootin ended up going there.
37:26I mean, so technically, uh, deeper did have an opportunity, but just passed it.
37:30It had been anything but a hamstring for like, I would have taken a calf injury for Tyson, just not the hammies again.
37:36Yeah. I mean, there's enough time in camp though.
37:39I mean, it's over already. Okay. We're done. Uh, I'm already, I'm already.
37:42It's like, nevermind. Cancel the season. It's done. Tyson's dead.
37:45His hamstring is on the same list as Devon.
37:48Hey baby. Juwan Johnson. Seely, anything on Tootin? You took Tootin at seven two.
37:52I thought that was a great value. Yeah. I kind of looped him in with the Brooks conversation.
37:57And here's the biggest thing about it. Even like, just put it this way.
38:01Even if Tootin only got 50% in the workload and the other 50% went to Rodriguez and LaQuint Allen.
38:06Everybody talking about Allen being involved in the passing game.
38:09Just, just give that a worst case scenario. 50%.
38:11He's still good enough to be an RB two because his style.
38:14And this is from, I've said this a couple of times.
38:18This is from somebody that thought he would be stuck in a timeshare in the NFL, which is why I was a
38:24little bit cooler on him and fancy, but even 50% in the Liam Cohen offense, specifically his style fits.
38:29And that's why I like him so much because I think he can be a very efficient RB two.
38:34Uh, seven, three went Marvin Harrison, Jalen Warren. We had LaPorta.
38:37We had Sutton at six Godwin Stevenson met calf.
38:40I'm up at seven 10, but I'm very curious about the Sutton pick.
38:44Uh, Debra, was this just like you thought at this point we were just kind of playing like value or I don't
38:50think I've seen any of us like draft him at any point.
38:53Yeah. I mean, it's, I think he's a fantastic value.
38:56I think the hate's gone a little bit too far.
38:59Like the guy has been a top 20 wide receiver of the last few years and he's dropping what into the backend
39:05of wide receiver three wide receiver four territory based off of what?
39:08Like Denver's still going to throw the freaking ball.
39:11They're going to be top five and pass attempts this year.
39:14So if the offense consolidates around Jalen Waddle and Cortland Sutton, we're saying that Bo Nix can't support two top 24 wide receivers.
39:20I think he can. And the volume can. So I'll take them at this point.
39:24So Chris Godwin Stevenson met calf and I am going to get the last tier.
39:28I think of quarter I could wait, but I think Justin Herbert's just in that higher tier.
39:33Erickson. I talked about maybe even him over Daniel.
39:36So I think there's just been some value at quarterback for you guys to check out.
39:40And speaking of checking out, just want to remind you guys that knowing which managers are likely to draft quarterbacks in super
39:46flex or draft the biggest, buzziest player or heavy running backs.

40:32Foodies unite. This is Angie Martinez from IRL podcast here to tell you about something new and delicious from McDonald's.
40:37So they just released an all new Caesar sauce.
40:40That is a creamy blend of rich Parmesan, zesty lemon and bold garlic flavors.
40:44The sauce on a chicken Caesar snack wrap or the McCrispy strips delicious, which by the way, the crispy strips are even crispier now.
40:51And that combination is perfect from McDonald's. And for a drink, I'll probably have a nice cold Sprite to go along with that perfectly.
40:57And I will be a happy girl. Don't take my word for it.

41:48So I went with Herbert. We had Thomas, Brian Thomas, and Chuba Hubbard end out the seventh round.
41:53So Chuba fell. Coming back here, I am up.
41:56With Alec Pierce. That was auto picks, just so you know, for everybody out there.
42:00Oh, okay. Alec Pierce and J.K. Dobbins, and then I am up again.
42:03This is why you don't get stuck on, miss your draft, because then you get Hubbard and Pierce back to back at 7-12 and 8-11.
42:10And you'll like it. And you'll like it. I'm going to take Kyle Pitts.
42:14So I'm going to go with a little bit later quarterback in tight end run here.
42:19So I've kind of got that full roster out.
42:21You ask all the questions. Can I ask you one?
42:24Sure. Knock it out. It's your boy. Any, any, that was just an easy pick.
42:28Any thoughts to your boy, George Kittle, even with the thought that maybe he's not a hundred percent until week two or?
42:34Absolutely. But they're talking about he might potentially be week one.
42:37I don't think so. I don't think you haven't traveled to Australia and do all that.
42:42You have him be week two, but I still think it could be a little slow going.
42:47Maybe you're going to want him blocking. Maybe you're going to want him in shorter percentages.
42:51I think it could be week four until he's really unleashed.
42:54Plus you got a big touchdown option. I love George Kittle, but I think like now had Kyle Pitts gone, I would
43:00have targeted him, but Kyle Pitts, I just thought was like a different tier.
43:04So that's why I jumped on that common on guy.
43:07Rashad white, Rashad white to Erickson here. We, I think we may have even dabbled in this.
43:12You got a worse offensive line. You maybe you've got worse efficiency.
43:15Is that defense going to be able to do anything?
43:18Maybe this is just a spot where they're going to be throwing the ball a whole lot and Rashad white's going to
43:24be able to eat a bit more. So is that any theory of your pick?
43:28Or are you just like, this is the best last running back for you?
43:32Yeah. He's just my favorite late round running back.
43:35Cause I think that he has the trust of his starting quarterback.
43:38And I think that matters a ton when it comes to pass protection.
43:42And if you see issues with this offensive line, they face the Eagles in week one, like if Bill's not ready to
43:48stop that blitz, Rashad white's going to play a ton in that game.
43:51And I think when push comes to shove, unless bill really steps up, I think they're just going to go to Rashad
43:58white and he's going to catch a ton of passes out of the backfield dump off passes from Jane Daniels.
44:03That's he tries to escape the rush. And Rashad white was good at the goal line last year.
44:08Good in success rate. I think that he's just severely undervalued cause he's not a sexy runner.
44:13That's fine. He's of course, fantasy points RB seven in 2023.
44:16We have a guy. We're just like bill and we're all just like, Oh yeah, bill.
44:20Like we all are just comfortable with it. Just still makes me laugh.
44:24Um, where were we? We had Quentin Johnston. That had to be a snipe to you, bro.
44:29Not fun. Right in front of you, but you, uh, but you pivoted to Rico doubt.
44:33So were you really looking at Johnson? I was looking at Johnston.
44:37I really kind of wanted to go with Rico with this pick just based off of how my team has been built
44:43so far, like having four wide receivers, only two running backs.
44:46I needed to kind of revisit running back here.
44:48So I think we still don't know who the true RB one in Pittsburgh is going to be this year.
44:54There might not be a true one. They might just be week to week, but at least Rico doubt.
44:59Oh, like I'm McCarthy's boy, man. Like I have to believe that he's going to get some share of the goal line
45:05work here for Pittsburgh, man, snipe city here. Uh, Michael Wilson was the guy I was considering, uh, if I didn't take
45:12Kyle pits, which I kind of wish now I maybe had done that.
45:15Uh, Wando Robinson goes eight, nine Blake Corum and then Makai lemon, Makai lemon to you, Celie.
45:20I feel like there's been some negativity around lemon, but that seems like a really good value at eight 11, eight 11,
45:26because the injury does play a fact that that's big for a rookie, a rookie wide receiver that, you know, and all
45:32of a sudden Don Tavion Wicks is getting all this talk about how great he looks in camp and everything like that.
45:38And I'm not be smirching Don Tavion wicks by any means, but if a hundred percent healthy, it's Makai lemon's job.
45:44And by taking him in the eighth round, I can afford, he's already on my bench to start.
45:49He would be on your bench in any league, even who would do a three wide receiver is to sit here and
45:55be able to wait for him to get a hundred percent and wait for him to get into the mix.
46:01And maybe it takes till week five or six, but at this point you're not drafting them to start immediately in your lineup.
46:07You can be patient with him. So I'm shooting for that upside that once he's incorporated, we're talking about top 25, top 30 potential.
46:14And then I'll just jump ahead and bring in the fact that Stefan Diggs at nine Oh two was a great value in my opinion.
46:21And I get the pairing with Jane and Daniels to go back to the Terry McLaurin conversation.
46:26If something were to happen to what Erickson was talking about, all of a sudden we see Diggs get more targets than
46:32Terry McLaurin because of the tonsil injury at nine Oh two.
46:35I mean, that's just, this is one of the, he was still at playing 65% of the snaps.
46:40He was still a top 25 wide receiver in points per game.
46:43So if he's getting back to 80, 85% with the commanders and he liked this, this is, he should not be here.
46:50He should be at two rounds earlier. Oh, snap city continues here.
46:53I see, I see D bro shaking his head.
46:55I'm just like, you gotta be kidding me. All right.
46:58I am up here and I'm actually going to play this out a little bit.
47:02We've talked about him going higher. I'm going to go with Dbo.
47:06Oh yeah. Yeah. Good pick. Good pick D bro.
47:08Keenan out of this year. Yeah. Dbo moving up.
47:11Uh, I just took it the nine 10 spot in between those picks, by the way, in the ninth round, we had, uh, Jane Reed digs, Prescott gain.
47:19Well, got to move back up. Uh, Michael Pittman, Ja'Cory Krosky, Merritt, Jordan Mason, Jacoby Myers, RJ Harvey was the snipe for me.
47:25I was like, God, you gotta be kidding me.
47:28And then I took Dbo Samuel, Aaron Jones, Jordan Addison.
47:30Um, why don't we go through your Ja'Cory Krosky Merritt?
47:33And then why my Dbo Samuel pick was so great.
47:36So I wanted Kenneth Gainwell, but shout out to Austin.
47:39Dev, uh, took him ahead of me because he knows I'm high on Gainwell this year, but I think Bill was a similar bet.
47:45Like I know Erickson's high on Rashad white. I, I, I think Bill could equally take over this backfield.
47:51In camp so far that there are reports that he's doing well in pass pro.
47:55So I just want to take a shot on the commander's backfield, whether it's Rashad white or bill on who could be
48:01the early down and then lead back for that offense.
48:04So really again, going back to the running back.
48:06Well, uh, now I have four running backs kind of evening out the team and we'll see where the rest of it goes.
48:13Uh, and then my Dbo pick was great, by the way, let's just reiterate that.
48:17Um, let's see. It wasn't very, very good. We had Kobe Myers, Jacoby Myers.
48:21That was your pick Erickson in the ninth round, not sexy, but the wide receivers weren't exactly super sexy.
48:26There's a couple of rookies that are floating out there.
48:29And then there's the Myers and the Dbo's of the world.
48:32Um, any, uh, any amazing insight, uh, on your Jacoby Myers?
48:35I mean, he's the one player on the Jaguars receiver room that they actually gave a contract extension to after they traded for him.
48:42So again, he's just the one that's the most underrated.
48:45Like he's not coming off the field, right? Like Parker Washington, still a slot guy.
48:49Mostly again, you like that role and has a lot of upside, but in terms of who is actually going to be
48:55playing the most, running the most routes last year, when Jacoby Myers, after he got traded to the Jaguars, led the team
49:01in targets, led the team in routes, he got paid chemistry exactly with what'd you say, Jake?
49:06No, he's we're all good. He's just like, are you serious?
49:09He wasn't to you. I think he got, I will say, are you serious?
49:13Like, I think you're, I think you're disrespecting Parker being able to play outside, but continue.
49:17Erickson did do a little, what did you say to me?
49:20I just, nobody respects Jacoby Myers, dude. Nobody. He's like the most underrated wide receiver in the NFL.
49:25Yeah. I mean, he does get it done. Um, in the 10th round, it started George Kittle, Jackson Dart.
49:31Uh, I took Chris Rodriguez. We had Jaden Higgins, Concepcion, Isaiah Likely, Jalen Coker, Tracy Dobbs and Golden.
49:36By the way, I love the point. I just want to mention on the Debo thing.
49:40I think, um, we've heard Fitzy mention it, but like as, as sucky as he was, he still finished like 24th at
49:46wide receiver and half PPR last year in Debo.
49:49Now he's back into his old offense. So I thought he was really good actually last year.
49:54Like he was still top 10 in the act per reception and missed tackles for his Debo was not washed.
49:59Um, let's get a, uh, the conception pick. Actually, that was the one I was thinking about before Debo Erickson, anything you
50:05want to add to that conception easy over Boston?
50:08Yeah. I think that he's a better bet to just leave the team in targets overall.
50:12So we'll see. And I think that he's less dependent on good quarterback play because I think he'll be used more closer to line of scrimmage.
50:19So, and I do think it matters depending on who the quarterback is.
50:23I think Watson's more likely to push the ball downfield, which is better for Boston versus Shador, who I think is going
50:29to target more short to intermediate, which I think is where conception will be used more if he's the Zay Flowers in this Todd Munkin offense.
50:37Um, everybody on the planet knew when you walk through the door, Debro, you were taking Jalen Coker and you got yourself
50:43some Jalen Coker in the 10th round. Is that who you were sighing about Jake?
50:47Mm-hmm. Jake, Jake's not having any fun. No, you're not having a lot of fun today.
50:51And then I was going to take Tracy who went right after to your nemesis, the Grim, right out.
50:57So like, I don't even want my two picks.
50:59I was ready to walk out of the room.
51:02Just do, strap two defenses and slide off. Yeah.
51:04That's why I let the clock tick down. It's just spite.
51:07As soon as I took Coker, I just hear Jake go, are you serious?
51:11I know. Not even a sigh, by the way.
51:14It just had to be like, are you kidding me?
51:16Well, I just put this tweet out. No, I'll just put this tweet out.
51:20So of the past five seasons, wide receivers with a hundred plus targets, then we're doing this.
51:25And I said, we're doing this for projections, right?
51:28We have average fantasy point finish median because I wanted to take out the Cooper cups of the world and stuff like that.
51:34Median 181.4 fancy points that finishes top 25 every single season you want to pick.
51:38If you include 20% team target share in there to say like, it's also the volume that you're seeing consistently.
51:44There's only been three wide receivers that didn't finish top 50.
51:47Elijah Moore, Jerry Judy and Elijah Moore again. And if you want to talk about the 20%, there's only been one that hasn't been top 40.
51:54And that was Jerry Judy last year. So the Jalen Coker, a hundred plus targets, 20% of the team target share.
52:00He should be a top 35 wide receiver at worst.
52:03Like I'm so aggravated. I cannot believe what just happened here in the round.
52:07You're not going to let Debra talk about Coker too.
52:09Yeah, go ahead. Talk about Coker. So you jumped in there.
52:13Talk about Coker. Let's let me, I don't think the gaps on him between him and Ted should exist as far as it does.
52:19I mean, you look over the back half when he was a full-time player, their target shares were close.
52:25Production was close. I think that, you know, you look at a more consolidated target tree.
52:29No, I'm not worried about Darren Waller right now.
52:32Jalen Coker is going to be the clear two.
52:34And if Bryce Young sucks, I mean, I can't say that Kenny Pickett's going to be any worse or Haynes King.
52:40If we see him come play snaps this year.
52:42All right. Uh, I'm just taking old, uh, crusty guys.
52:45My team would have been really good a couple of years ago.
52:49And let's see where were we, if I can pick back up, I think we finished out.
52:53We had Matthew Golden in the 10th, Romeo Dobbs, Tracy, uh, Keaton Mitchell to you, Sealy and Dallas Goddard.
52:59Anything you want to add on Mitchell before we, cause we're already in the 12th before I recap the 11th.
53:04Nah, Keaton Mitchell was, I've talked about him on previous mocks.
53:07I've been getting a good share of him. He's my fourth running back, maybe flex play, maybe some more upside Xavier worthy in the 11th.
53:14Why not? If he could stay healthy and be the number two and that's screw deep, bro.
53:19Yeah, I concur. Um, like even if I missed on Tracy, like I just wanted to, so the reason I also went
53:25Coker was that that long run of young wide receivers.
53:28I felt like if I didn't take him there, one, Jake was probably going to take him too.
53:33He wasn't going to make it back to me.
53:35I think I want to do something that's going to make Eric.
53:39While you're thinking, here's a testament to taking your guys.
53:42Cause I thought about taking him the round before that, because then I was like, you know what?
53:47I think because he's buried, I can make it all the way back around and still get Coker there.
53:52And if you look at, uh, who did I take instead of Coker at that point?
53:56It took Stefan Diggs, still a good pick, but I'm sure pure upside ceiling, like Coker would have been the ceiling play.
54:03It's still probably a little bit aggressive at nine Oh two.
54:06But again, if you want to get your guys, nobody's going to remember, Oh my God, I can't believe you wasted your
54:12ninth round pick or like whatever you took them around too early.
54:15So dude. All right. The ninth round has been very good the last two years.
54:19Yeah. I saw your tweet. I like that tweet.
54:22Yeah. It was a ninth round pick last year.
54:24League winner. And then who's it going to be this year?
54:27You put out that tweet of all those guys.
54:30Dude. I like the, who went to the ninth round here.
54:33I thought the Dolph King K go here. Actually Jalen Coker was in there.
54:37The Dolph King K go in the ninth round?
54:39No. No, he just went, uh, in the 11th round.
54:42No. Addison, Jones, Debo, Harvey, Jacoby, Jordan Mason, Krosky, Merritt, Pittman, Gainwell, Dak, Diggs, Reed.
54:46So who's your ninth rounder? Erickson. Let's talk the names again.
54:49I was on the clock. Sorry. Oh yeah. No, no, no.
54:53It was not. Let's talk the names again. You got a one shot.
54:56The tension was palpable. I was like, Oh my God, he's going to drop a bomb.
55:01Cause I was trying to think about to say, because I did not, all I got was the last two guys, which one of them was Diggs.
55:08I don't think it's going to be Diggs. So that's just, I think Coker, we're, we're going to settle on Coker.
55:14Yeah. He probably falls in that. All right. Let me catch up with these picks here.
55:18Uh, in the 11th round, uh, Denzel Boston was the first pick Xavier worthy.
55:22I literally, I thought our system was broken. Because I typed in Stribbling and I'm like, Oh, it's going to be great for the 11th round.
55:30Nope. He went, uh, the third pick in the 11th round.
55:33We had Tyler Algier. Uh, we had Lloyd Kincaid, Charbonnet, Shahid, Marks, Camara, Kelsey and Spears.
55:37That was our 11th round. Um, let me ask, I want to go back to, God, if I can go back to it.
55:44Um, are you happy with a Kincaid pick? D bro.
55:46I mean, that's, isn't that been your guy? Yeah.
55:49I'm happy with it. I was hoping to pair him with like a Travis Kelsey or somebody like that.
55:54And I ended up did pairing him not to jump too far ahead here.
55:58I did pair him with somebody like Jake Ferguson, who I feel like there's touchdowns.
56:02He could be at low end tight end one.
56:05I think if you're waiting late, like it's kind of like pick Ferguson, Andrews, Dallas Goddard, pair them with Dalton Kincaid.
56:11Because I mean, really the, the thesis of the pick is if Dalton Kincaid just runs more freaking routes this year, he
56:17could be a top five tight end. And it's not difficult to see like on a per route basis, he led tight
56:23ends in every discernible metric you can pull up every one of them.
56:27So if he gets more routes this year, yeah, he's got top three, top five upside.
56:31So in, in the 12th round, we had at a 12, one Pacheco Bigsby.
56:35I took Trey Harris to try to get a reaction also because I like him, but to get a reaction out of Erickson, he gave me nothing.
56:42He didn't even flinch. I was too busy thinking about the round nine picks.
56:46Yeah, I guess. Kamani Vidal, Omar Cooper, go back to it because it just went up.
56:51Shakir Ferguson, Bo Nix, Brooks was in there, Coleman, Brian Robinson and Dylan Sampson.
56:55Who do I want to ask here? Erickson, let's talk about Amari Cooper.
56:58The Amari Cooper conversation has actually been around like he might potentially get supplanted in the offense, but this is, this seems like a nice upside play.
57:06Do you like this at the end? Yeah. First round pick a player that a lot of people viewed as NFL ready.
57:12She kind of throw them into an offense Omar or excuse me, Debo Samuel types of comparison.
57:17So he's my last wide receiver on my bench.
57:19So I think it's just a bet on the talent profile, the Jets offense being average and not below average like they were last year.
57:26I think that he has some upside. So I like getting him here as my last receiver, especially because I needed some
57:32receive because my receivers, my starters are fragile to say the least.
57:36Yeah. I feel like I have a bit of that in the 13th round.
57:40We've had Don TV and Wicks. Oh, of course I'm up.
57:43We had Douglas Cyrus Allen. I was even my cue.
57:46I was going to take. We had like Washington, Dolkich, Naylor, Tank Dell, Purdy and Tucker.
57:50God, this round stinks. Everybody took all of it.
57:53I think it's a good value in the 13th round.
57:55It stinks in all the right ways. Like these are all the players that I want.
58:00He's mad because nobody is left. He was super high on all the Raiders.
58:04All those. I'm trying to do. I got Jim.
58:06You took AD baby. Yeah, AD all day. But I want to tank Dell.
58:10That's like one of my big sleepers this year.
58:13Cyrus Allen was going to be my pick in there.
58:15Did not get. I ended up taking Adonai Mitchell, of course.
58:19Erickson, you got Purdy, Naylor going to Debro and Douglas.
58:21Douglas was a great pick by UCLA. Yeah, that's one that I mean, go back two months ago and I was talking about Caleb Douglas.
58:28Look, they took him as a surprise before Bell, but Bell being hurt as part of it.
58:33But what do we know about Douglas is I don't think anybody in the entire industry, whether fantasy or just straight out
58:39NFL and analyst had him as high as he went in the draft.
58:43But the Dolphins took him. And if you look at his profile, we hope he can be Nico Collins.
58:48That's very lofty. But we're kind of thinking Cedric Tillman right now, at least in my opinion.
58:53And Cedric Tillman has been a bust for the Browns.
58:56But if you put Cedric Tillman a few years ago on the Dolphins and looked at their landscape, you'd say, hey, there's a shot.
59:02He could be the number one, at least their touchdown getter and down play threat downfield play threat.
59:07And Malik Willis, like he can throw the football.
59:10Like everybody's out here pretending like Malik Willis is the word is Justin Fields throwing the football.
59:15And so it's going to be somebody. And why not take a flyer on the one that they went and invested draft capital on?
59:21All right. Well, luckily, I'm not going to have to pause and go change my shirt because I did not win this.
59:27But someone. Oh, wow. Someone here did. I think you can tell who it is now at the bottom.
59:33Here was it. It really was a fun mock draft.
59:36Yeah. You were just so pouty the whole time.
59:38You ended up winning. Yeah. Jake's happy now. He's going to think of it.
59:42Yeah. Imagine if I got Coker. Is that my is that my swap out?
59:46What if if you would have gotten maybe if you got Coker, maybe then I'm not a 10th.
59:51I'm 12th. So we'll see. All right. The top 12 was we had our boy Dev finishing 12th.
59:56K. Lest at 11. Debro, you were 10. Erickson, you were nine.
59:59I was eight. Messer at seven. Big C at six.
60:02And your top five was Jason, Sammy Aces, Panda, Moe.
60:05And then, of course, Jake Seeley at the tippy top.
60:0810 points more than the next. The team constructions.
60:10We will start with Debro's. It was Jalen Hurts, Christian McCaffrey, Ken Walker.
60:14Those are the running backs and quarterback. Two starting wideouts, eight flowers, Terry McLaurin with Carnell Tate at flex, Jake Ferguson at tight end.
60:21And your bench, Rico Dowdle, Cortland Sutton, Bill Cross, Gamerrett, Dalton Kincaid, Jalen Coker, and Jalen Naylor.
60:25What would you have done different? Do you like this team?
60:28Do you think you got kind of underscored here?
60:31You got, you know, you got a couple of your guys, you got hit in a couple spots.
60:36Yeah. Like I think this team is solid, like CMC and Kenneth Walker.
60:40What's wrong with that start? Then I've got like starting tight, starting wide receivers as a flowers and Terry McLaurin.
60:45Like if I go to the pick analysis, it apparently just hated my pick of Jalen Hurts.
60:50It was like, if you took Devante Adams and Brock Purdy, of course, we knew Brock Purdy was gonna be available in the freaking 13th.
60:57It's like if you did anything different. Yeah, it's like 50 more points, 30 more points, all this stuff.
61:02It's like it hated my pick of Jalen Hurts, but I like this team.
61:06I would rock with this team. Like with Carnell Tate as my wide receiver three Sutton as my four.
61:11And then I've got RB three and four of like Rico Dowdle and Bill, who could be the respective starters in their backfields.
61:18I yeah, I mean, outside of tight end and figuring it out, like I really, I think this team's solid, but maybe I'm wrong.
61:24This can't be right. I don't think I've ever seen that.
61:28There's no way you got an eight from somebody like I've seen bad grades.
61:31Is that real? Hold on. Now I gotta go click on D-Rose team.
61:35I was gonna try to move through this a little bit quicker.
61:38Yes, apparently I got an eight. I've never seen that in the history of getting graded on this show.
61:44Who gave you an eight? Luke Ronson. You screwed up every single pick.
61:47An eight. No, no, there's something wrong with his ranking.
61:50Basically, I signed my name and I walked away from the test.
61:53That was it. And you misspelled the first name.
61:56Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. He gave me a 10.
61:59So there's gotta be something wrong with his ranking.
62:01Oh, okay. Like, I'm dying. I gotta go click on my name.
62:05I hope, you know what? Don't fix the ranks, please.
62:07I don't want anyone to fix the ranks. I want, I'm gonna go look here.
62:12I don't know what your guy's problem is. He gave me a 68.
62:15So there you go. Okay. I have you all beat.
62:18I have you all beat. He gave me a zero.
62:21I'm the worst drafter. There's just something wrong with this.
62:24You didn't even draft a team. You're just picking up everybody off of waivers afterwards.
62:28Well, he just looked at my face and he's just like zero out.
62:31All right. Uh, God, that makes me laugh. That is so funny.
62:35Good catch. All right. Let's go to, uh, let's go, let's go to Eric.
62:39Go to Andrew. Erickson, you got a Purdy with James Cook and Ramondre Stevenson.
62:43It's a little bit of weaker second RB here.
62:45Rishi Rice and Jalen Waddles. You're starting wide outs.
62:48Mike Evans at flex with Brock Bowers at tight end.
62:50So a lot of strength outside of your second running back on the bench.
62:54You've got Jonathan Brooks. You've got Rashad white, and then you went really wide receiver, heavy Jacobi Myers conception, exception, Shahid and
63:00Omar Cooper actually really like your team outside of the theoretical second RB issue, except if Jonathan Brooks does eat and cook, you're going to be a monster.
63:08So is there anything that you would have done different or you were just ecstatic about in this draft?
63:14I should have taken JSN instead of James Cook.
63:16I think that was a mistake that I made in round one.
63:19I think I'm, I was hoping that there would probably be more of a running back run in the later part of
63:26round one into round two, but that wasn't the case.
63:28It was really more of the wide receivers that ended up going.
63:32So, cause you saw Ken Walker, Hampton, Derek Henry, a Chan, like all those guys I could have taken instead of Bowers.
63:38And I would have had a nice wide receiver running back start rather than having Rashi Rice be my wide receiver when
63:44I would have had JSN and still a really strong running back more comparable to James Cook than the inverse.
63:50And then I made a mistake to not drafting digs in round eight, right?
63:54I was looking at him. I was looking at Rashad white.
63:57I love Rashad white and I didn't really need the running back there.
64:00And Jake even made a point about digs should be going higher than round nine and he's a hundred percent correct.
64:06And I should have just taken him there in round eight and said, I took Rashad white when I didn't really need
64:12to, I think, I mean, cause I had Brooks, I had James Cook, I had Stevenson.
64:17I mean, Stevenson's the starter for the Patriots. Like I just talked about Patriots.
64:21I mean, I disagree. Like he's going to be starting.
64:23I'll push back a little bit. I think you should have taken white over that considering you started Rashad rice, Waddle and Mike Evans.
64:30Like, is there injury risk? Sure. But we're only starting two wide receivers.
64:34So like I felt okay with your wide receiver start.
64:37I mean, I guess. Yeah. Appreciate that. I was relatively strong.
64:40By the way, as we mentioned before, um, if you know, people are watching and stuff, but like when you do these
64:46mock drafts, one of the coolest thing about it is all of the information you get after, you know, cause there's lots
64:52of ways to mock draft and there's lots of people that are draft assisting you, but there's not a lot that are
64:58not only comparing it against what industry leaders are telling you and loving your drafts, but you get the steals and reaches.
65:04Uh, the pick analysis, I think is really great.
65:07Here's a perfect example of it. It said, had you skipped going James Cook at one eight and then Jacoby Myers at
65:13nine, eight and flipped it to taking Jackson Smith and Jigba at one eight and then RJ Harvey at nine, eight.
65:19So essentially where you took those guys, you just scored almost 50 points higher.
65:23So I think that's like a really, really insightful and helpful tool.
65:26You can also look at team strengths, um, with spider charts.
65:29And then, uh, the fun that we always have is looking at the expert opinions in the summary where, uh, Erickson, the,
65:35you were, nobody loved your team more than you essentially.
65:38It was given to somebody else. Uh, Daniel Mader was, uh, a number one at 96 out of a hundred, but so were you.
65:45Uh, so Erickson, you kind of are, you know, uh, you're living, you're living up to exactly what you are preaching here
65:51because you gave yourself, uh, a 96 out of a hundred.
65:54You loved it. And then jokes aside on some of them that, you know, who I gave a higher grade than even my own team.
66:01Who's that? Mr. Jake Seeley. Uh, well, we're going to talk about that in just a second.
66:06Yeah. Jake is going to get, he gets the crown.
66:08He gets the end here. Uh, my team, I finished it.
66:11I did finish above you guys. I had Justin Herbert at quarterback.
66:15My running backs were Jinty and Kyron Williams, pretty strong.
66:18My wide receivers, AJ Brown and Garrett Wilson. I had Cal Pitts at tight end and my super flex or my flex
66:24on super flex was Bucky Irving or my top bench option was Parker Washington.
66:28So however you want to look at that. I had a Chris Rodriguez and Alvin Kamara running back with Debo and I
66:34Mitchell and Trey Harris as my wide receivers. It did say I picked the number one sleeper running back currently on our
66:40system, which by the way, shout out to Erickson, me and Erickson, by the way, finished top 10 in the sleeper ranks last year in draft.
66:47Uh, Alvin Kamara is number one. Don't be so modest.
66:50You were top five. You were top five. Welsh.
66:52I was seventh. So we're both top, top seven.
66:55Listen, I'm just a dumb old host here, but for me to finish higher than all the fantasy pros draft rankers last
67:01year and sleeper, I am proud of that. But you know, let's not talk about in season where these smart guys are going.
67:08Uh, but, uh, it, like Debo is the number three consensus sleeper, Alvin Kamara at number one and kind of practicing what I preach.
67:14I gave myself the second highest grade. I really liked my draft here, uh, with a 92 out of a hundred, but that's just my team.
67:22It's just, I think it's really balanced. Yeah. I thought, I thought I had like a pretty good balance team, a couple of funny duddies and stuff that.
67:29No, but I mean, if Bucky is a hundred percent and even at 60% of the workload, that's an amazing flex and
67:35Parker Washington's Parker Washington is amazing backup flex plan.
67:38So yeah, I think you're great. You guys, if Bucky Irving is him, you're fine.
67:42And he is him. So your team should have been higher than it was.
67:46I do agree with that, but, uh, none of the, could have done what Jake Seeley did getting an a, uh, the top, top of the class here.
67:54Uh, your team ended up looking like, uh, Jane Daniels at quarterback.
67:57You got a great value. B. John Robinson, Quinn, Sean Jutkins at RB, your wide receivers were Olave and McConkie.
68:03You had Trey McBride at tight ends. You had the high tight end and you've got, uh, Bachel Tootin as your flex, which was sick.
68:10Your bench, your wide receivers were Makai Lemon, Xavier Worthy, Diggs and Caleb Douglas with bench running backs of Brian Robinson and Keaton Mitchell.
68:17So you didn't really have a strength at the backup running backs, but didn't really matter because you had a flex running back as your RB three.
68:24This team, you didn't really have any big holes here.
68:27So I have to imagine that you're going to co-sign it.
68:30You did end up loving this team, even though you complained the entire draft and you're sighing and oh, it's happening.
68:36Could you imagine if at HM? I mean, could I, could I copy paste this team?
68:40Like seriously, like if I could walk out of most of my drafts with this, mostly because I wasn't expecting to like
68:46it as much as I did taking McBride where I did, because I don't love taking the tight end in the second or even the third round.
68:54I love when towards the end of the third, fourth, I co-signed that one.
68:58And then more so I've been ending up with a lot of fan and a Warren.
69:02So I was expecting the McBride to be like, well, don't love my wide receiver too, or don't love my RB too.
69:08But I think this is a testament to like the draft falling to you is that McBride was the best available with the tier drop offs.
69:16And then a lot of things just fell into place.
69:18Like this could have gone sideways very easily. There was a few picks and you know, I know I'd be moaned Coker,
69:25but I mean, that was my bench at that point.
69:27So yeah, I really love this team. I actually, like I said, I think your team deserved better than it got, but
69:34I would love to have this team in a lot of leagues.
69:37And this is not, I'm being serious just because like, I'm not being, ha ha, look at me, but I don't think
69:43I've ever seen a draft where like two of the five worst scores are still B minuses.
69:48Yeah. Yeah. I mean, this was an interesting construction too.
69:51And by the way, I just want to point this out under pick analysis, there was a potential 60 point boost for you.
69:57It said, if you had gone at Nico Collins at two 11 instead of Trey McBride, and then in the 13th round
70:03taken Mark Andrews instead of Caleb Douglas, that was a 60 point, but I'm just saying it's an interesting thing in there.
70:09Uh, and also you had Stefan Diggs who was a number two in the sleeper consensus at wide receiver.
70:15Keaton Mitchell was number four. And I thought this was interesting.
70:18A, you had our buddy and Erickson's co-host on some shows, Tom Strachan giving us an A plus.
70:23That was one of the people that really loved it, but your, your hates, you had three people with a D, but
70:29the next jump was to a B and Seth Wolcott here at fantasy pros didn't like it, but with a B, I mean, that's not really a dislike.
70:37So yeah, the construction was really good. To go back to the pick analysis.
70:41I do like the second one more. Uh, I think Marvin Harrison and Brock Purdy swapped out for Jaden Daniels and Caleb Douglas.
70:47I would have been more on board with that again to what Debro said though, at the time is like hindsight, knowing
70:53that Purdy was going to fall the way to the 13th round.
70:56Yeah, the 13th. I mean, and that's, and that's the problem with it, but that is also why this is so great.
71:03The pick analysis can kind of help you work through some things and guess what?
71:07You can do a draft. You can start here, go with Intel, sync your league.
71:11You can use Intel on your league, then practice in a spot.
71:14Then you look at the pick analysis and it says, Hey, you should have done this and this.
71:19Then you can go back and you can start trying to implement those type of things into your draft.
71:25Keep scoring better, keep roster construction better. Make sure you're jumping on the draft simulator, whether it's a, you're jumping into public
71:31mocks or you're creating private ones, which by the way, those private ones can be just for you versus the bot.
71:37So you can have some of your league mates or friends.
71:40It's easy stuff. Go jump in there, mock, just like we did and get all the analysis that we were talking about
71:46after the fact, because it's just going to make your season better.
71:49And that's it. That's what we've got for you.
71:52Half PPR mock draft. Hey, if you guys ever want to mock with us, I didn't kind of mention this before, but
