Baker Mayfield

NegativeProjection26:41

Baker Mayfield's outlook is downgraded due to concerns about his performance when his receiving corps is depleted, as seen in previous seasons.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveBreakout15:06

Blake Corum is identified as a breakout candidate who is currently undervalued outside the top 30 running backs. He is more explosive than Kyron Williams and could earn a significant workload share in the Rams' offense.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeInjury4:15

Breece Hall suffered a strained groin during a preseason practice while running a route. Injury experts estimate a two to four-week recovery timeline, which is not disastrous but noteworthy for fantasy managers.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveProjection21:22

Chase Brown is poised for his best season yet; data shows his fantasy production remained consistent regardless of whether Perine was active, as he was the RB9 with Perine and RB7 without him.

Insight page
PositiveUsage33:51

Chase Brown is expected to have his best year yet, with a projected 70% snap share in the Bengals' offense. He demonstrated high-end efficiency last year and is expected to maintain a lead role over Samaje Perine.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveDepth Chart34:55

Chris Olave is clearly the top pass-catcher for the Saints, especially with Jordan Tyson expected to miss time, which should boost Olave's target share.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveProjection23:47

Dak Prescott is a high-end passer with 4,000-yard potential; the Cowboys' tendency to play fast makes him a strong fantasy asset, and he is considered nearly interchangeable with Justin Herbert.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveRole84:03

Dallas Goedert is a viable late-round tight end option, particularly in tight-end premium formats. He benefits from built-in chemistry with Jalen Hurts and sees increased production when AJ Brown is sidelined.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeUsage28:27

Drake London's absence from the Falcons' preseason game contributed to the offense's poor performance, highlighting his importance to the team's success.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveValue18:57

Drake Maye is a high-upside target in Superflex formats with an ADP around 7.8. The source suggests he is a strong pick for those looking to build a portfolio around a potential breakout quarterback.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveUsage79:56

Dylan Sampson is an efficient pass-catching back who demonstrated elite metrics in college, including high yards per route run and target rates, making him a strong late-round value.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

NegativeInjury24:46

Emeka Egbuka is dealing with a turf toe injury that may lead to an ugly Week 1 performance; the injury is concerning for a receiver who relies on footwork for separation.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveUsage51:11

Harold Fannin is seeing elite usage, playing nine of ten snaps with the Browns' starters. He profiles as a tight end who will rarely leave the field, potentially leading his team in targets and competing for the NFL lead in routes run.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeProjection25:52

Ja'Marr Chase remains a high-volume target with 175+ targets in consecutive seasons, though there is some concern regarding the Bengals' offensive overhaul, which emphasizes play-action and under-center work.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

PositiveUsage64:55

Jake Ferguson is a strong tight end option who led his team with a 23% red zone target share last year, providing significant touchdown upside.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveValue26:56

Jared Goff is a safe, high-value quarterback option in Superflex formats, projected to lead the NFL in passing yards; he provides critical stability despite lacking rushing upside.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury0:16

Jeremiah Love suffered a high ankle sprain after receiving 14 touches in a preseason game, which the source criticizes as excessive usage for a rookie in a meaningless contest. He is expected to miss two to three weeks, potentially impacting his availability and conditioning for the start of the season.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveRole74:47

Jonah Coleman is a north-south, three-down running back prospect for the Broncos who has received consistent praise from Sean Payton and the coaching staff.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveValue75:01

Jonathan Brooks is a target in drafts, with the source suggesting he could be pushed up to round six in one-QB leagues. His path to becoming the RB1 in Carolina is clear, though his success may be tied to the team's offensive environment.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveProjection22:13

Justin Herbert has top-five QB upside and is expected to have a monster season in a Shanahan-style offense; he offers a superior floor-ceiling combination compared to other options like O'Marion Hampton.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveSleeper35:25

Juwan Johnson is an undervalued tight end who recorded nine top-12 finishes last year; he benefits from the Saints' high-tempo offense and is a strong target with Tyson out.

Insight page
PositiveValue64:32

Juwan Johnson is a priority target who should be moving up draft boards following the Jordan Tyson injury; he is a strong candidate to exploit the 1.5 tight end premium scoring format due to his high volume of receptions, yardage, and targets.

Insight page
PositiveValue87:55

Juwan Johnson is a priority target whose value is rising due to the Jordan Tyson injury. He is considered a top-ranked tight end option in the current draft range.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveValue55:55

In a deep keeper league, the source prefers keeping Ladd McConkey over Tee Higgins. McConkey is younger, has more career runway, and has the potential to shift his dynasty value significantly in his third season under Mike McDaniel.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveValue19:08

Lamar Jackson is a priority target for the source, who has 22% exposure to him in Superflex drafts. He is considered a bounce-back candidate due to improved guard play and positive training camp reports.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeValue40:19

Luther Burden is currently at a cheap price point, and his value is expected to rise once he returns to the practice field.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveBreakout71:39

Makai Lemon is a strategic bet on second-half production; despite current injury concerns, he is a former first-round pick who could inherit significant slot receiver volume in the Eagles offense if Dallas Goedert misses time.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeProjection13:52

Matthew Stafford is expected to see a decline in touchdown production after a career-high 7.7% touchdown rate last season, as such efficiency rarely carries over year-to-year.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveProjection70:03

Michael Penix is viewed as the superior long-term quarterback for the Falcons compared to Tua, who is considered a bridge quarterback. Penix is expected to be more productive for Drake London once healthy, as Tua is viewed as a limited checkdown artist.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveValue65:08

Mike Evans remains a high-upside target despite training camp absences; he is currently being drafted outside the top 24 wide receivers, which represents a value. His role as an outside deep threat and red zone target is distinct from Deebo Samuel's underneath usage.

Insight page

Najee Harris

NegativeDepth Chart9:04

The New York Giants have shown interest in Najee Harris, which threatens the workload of Cam Scadabo and suggests the team intends to utilize a committee backfield rather than a workhorse role.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole67:07

Parker Washington is viewed as the likely wide receiver one in Jacksonville. Despite potential ceiling caps from slot usage, he has strong rapport with Trevor Lawrence and is expected to lead the team in fantasy points among receivers.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

PositiveUsage30:32

Rashee Rice is a high-upside target who finished as a top-five fantasy producer per game last year; he benefited from an absurd 33% designed play rate, though his efficiency drops significantly without screen passes.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveUsage70:29

Rhamondre Stevenson is expected to be in a 50/50 backfield committee but remains a strong fantasy asset due to his receiving ability, pass protection skills, and high-value opportunities. He is a viable starter for the Patriots.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveRole49:00

The source feels very good about Sam LaPorta, noting that all indications point toward him having a very significant role in the Lions' offense this season.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

NegativeRole21:09

Samaje Perine serves as a complementary piece to keep Chase Brown fresh, but he lacks the talent to take over the Bengals' backfield in any capacity.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue32:30

Saquon Barkley is considered undervalued, with the source arguing that last year's struggles were due to coaching and offensive line injuries. He is projected to potentially reach a top-three finish this season.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeProjection57:27

The source expresses concern regarding Tee Higgins, noting that his fantasy production has become increasingly touchdown-reliant over the last few years, leading to a lower outlook compared to younger alternatives.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveSleeper15:49

Terrence Ferguson is highlighted as an undervalued second-year tight end in the Rams' high-powered offense who could carve out a larger role.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveValue37:34

Tucker Kraft is a highly desirable asset in fantasy trades, and analysts advise against trading him away for players like Javonte Williams.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

PositiveRole3:52

The injury to Jeremiah Love potentially opens the door for Tyler Allgeier to have a stronger start to the season due to the missed practice reps for the rookie.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeRole10:03

Tyrone Tracy is competing for snaps in the Giants' backfield. While he struggled with a block that led to a quarterback injury, he remains a part of the rotation alongside Cam Scadabo and Devin Singletary.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveProjection32:47

Zay Flowers is a high-ceiling receiver, though his fantasy value depends on his ability to expand his red-zone role; he is a preferred target over Rashee Rice in some draft scenarios.

0:04Grainger, for the ones who get it done. Grainger, for the first weekend of proper preseason action.
0:10Big takeaways from preseason week one. Maybe don't give your top five rookie running back 14 touches in a meaningless game.
0:16I understand that they want to get Jeremiah Love accustomed to the offense and the speed of the NFL game, but at
0:23the same time you have so much invested in this player and to see him play almost an entire half.
0:30Obviously getting banged up, high ankle sprain, low ankle sprain.
0:33I don't know if LaFleur knows exactly what kind of ankle sprain it is, but we're not going to see Jeremiah Love
0:40potentially now till the start of the season. And is he going to be at 100%?
0:45Like that is the big concern here. So again, to me, it's just a overarching bad.
0:50This is why bad organizations stay bad. I guess with the Arizona Cardinals and it's just like whatever they do, it just ends up being the wrong decision.
0:58Now, obviously in hindsight, if he doesn't get hurt, we don't talk about this and we're talking about, man, he had 14 touches.
1:06So good. 28, 28 touches per game. How many touches is that going to be over a 17 game season?
1:12And we're getting really excited again. As I was watching that play out and seeing, I'm thinking, man, is this a reason to be really bullish?
1:20Because they're giving him so much usage in a meaningless game.
1:24Imagine how much touches he'll get in an actual game.
1:27Now is LaFleur going to kind of turn things back a little and be like, man, we already overloaded him from the start.
1:34That was a big mistake. Are we in trouble here?
1:37So just going back to when in doubt, just don't draft Arizona Cardinals, Tom.
1:41I mean, I'm not sure I can get on board quite that far.
1:46Like one thing I want to talk about later is a little bit of, I think the Trey McBride height has gone
1:52too far, but yeah, the high ankle sprain for Jeremiah Love was obviously just so annoying.
1:57It really was just, I can't think of any other way to express it as annoying because he didn't need to be out there that much.
2:06Yes. You need a rookie to get live reps, but it's not like, it's not like that you were playing against a
2:13team who were playing all their starters or anything.
2:15And now he's going to miss probably two to three weeks.
2:19Most injury experts expect, unless it's a high ankle sprain, which could linger a little bit longer, but this is such valuable time.
2:26He's going to miss, I don't know if the Cardinals have any joint practices scheduled, but he'll probably miss them.
2:32He's going to miss so much actual reps out there, which potentially opens up the door for a stronger start for Tyler Algier.
2:40And don't threaten me with a good time about that one, but there are a bunch of injuries happening.
2:45And it's kind of like, this is that week where if you've been drafted a lot of best ball, like we have,
2:52but you start feeling threatened for your portfolio. I mean, Brees Hall, when he went down today on Monday with a strained
2:59groin, ran a route, caught a ball, and then untouched, went down injured.
3:03And you could feel the tension on Twitter and in the discord slate.
3:07Now, most injury experts reckon that he could miss two to four weeks at that point.
3:12So it's not disastrous, but it's definitely noteworthy. Do either of Jeremiah Love or Brees Hall injuries affect how you're going to
3:19be looking at them over the next few weeks?
3:22Well, I'm interested to see where those guys go in our draft that we're going to be doing here in eight minutes
3:29or so when we launch off for our super flex FFPC draft best ball style.
3:34So interested to see where those guys go there.
3:37They were in a kind of similar tier to me.
3:40Brees Hall, like right outside my RB one rankings, thinking about RB 12 or RB 13.
3:45Again, going back to being bullish on Jeremiah Love was thinking about trying to move him up after he got so many touches.
3:52Just kind of acknowledging that this coach might be obsessed with just getting him as much volume as humanly possible because it was a top five pick.
4:01And that's typically what we see from rookies that are drafted this high.
4:05But then to get hurt like this, I had to kind of pause the brakes like, okay, I'm not going to move him.
4:12Just kind of kind of keep him in his spot.
4:15So I haven't moved either guy in my rankings.
4:18I think it's more of just, okay, when the bolts are flying, are people just going to be gun shy?
4:24And I think that's probably going to be the case here.
4:28So maybe we see some decent values with both of those types of players where, especially if you are doing a wide
4:34receiver, heavy start, you go with one of these elite tight ends.
4:38Well, Brees Hall and Jeremiah Love are kind of those next tier of hero running backs that people are going to add to their team.
4:46So I think both guys are still in play here.
4:49So it's true to see if either you or I will scoop them up.
4:54Yeah, absolutely. I think it's kind of, if you're building out a portfolio, like I think I'm closing it on 50 of these super flex drafts.
5:02And it's kind of a point where you look at, okay, well, I've never got him as cheap as I can potentially get him at this point.
5:10And players tend not to fall as easily as players rise up draft boards because you have auto drafters.
5:16You have the psychology of people seeing them sat at the top of the queue.
5:21So in best ball, I'm not expecting a big dip on either player, but it's well worth people keeping an eye on
5:28real time ADP over on fantasypros.com at forward slash NFL forward slash real dash time dash ADP.
5:33And that's got trends for 24 hours, seven days.
5:36And it'll be interesting to see how that kind of changes over the next couple of days if people are afraid to draft him there.
5:44One running back who popped up in the news today as well was Najee Harris, who was visiting the New York Giants.
5:51Apparently they've been rumored to be interested in him for a couple of weeks.
5:55Do you, you start to get the fear for Cam Scadabo?
5:59Well, it seemed like things were going in the right direction for him after Tyrone Tracy blew the block that got Jackson
6:06Dart a little bit banged up in that game.
6:08I mean, it's to each their own. Everyone can view that play differently.
6:12Unfortunately, to me, it did look like that Tyrone Tracy could have a better job of blocking the pass rusher.
6:19So getting Jackson Dart killed did not necessarily help his case here.
6:22We know that Najee Harris was with the Chargers last year before he went down with it was an Achilles injury, I believe.
6:30Obviously, Harbaugh is the head coach of the Chargers.
6:33His brother is obviously John Harbaugh, who's the head coach of the New York Giants.
6:37And through all the Jeremiah love to the Giants type of rumors, there has been a constant drumbeat this offseason that the
6:44Giants wanted to add another running back. At some point, even though they had Scadabo, they had Tyrone Tracy.
6:50Going back all the way of a draft, like before the draft, free agency, Kenneth Walker was linked there.
6:56And as we saw play out in the preseason game, you saw three different running backs get reps with the starting offense.
7:03As Nathan Yonke from PFF pointed out between Scadabo who started the game, Tyrone Tracy came in next, and then Devin Singletary
7:10is still getting run as a starting running back for I don't know exactly what reason.
7:15Brian Dayball is not in New York anymore. I know that Dayball and Devin Singletary is kind of his guy.
7:21But yeah, it seemed like the Giants want to have a commitment to running the football, and they want to use a stable of running backs.
7:29So again, not a great sign for Scadabo if they decided to bring in Najee Harris, because now you're looking at, I think, more of a committee.
7:38And we're not getting that type of upside we saw from Scadabo last year when he was a three down workhorse running
7:45back through all phases, catching passes out of the backfield, just bulldozing defenders.
7:49Yeah, I mean, I've been kind of on the Tyrone Tracy side of things more often than Cam Scadabo.
7:55I think when you look at Matt Nagy when he was in Kansas City, only once in three years did a running back exceed a 52% snap share.
8:04So I've kind of thought this might be a little bit closer.
8:07The Tyrone Tracy stuff, I land on that being a Jackson Dart responsibility, but to each their own.
8:13So I do think that Vegas may not be correct with the Rams having the number one offense.
8:19I think a lot of that has to do with how many touchdowns they scored last year.
8:24The Rams defense is significantly better than it was last year.
8:27So I think they're going to be playing in less type of shootout game environments.
8:32We know that with quarterbacks, pocket passers like Matthew Stafford, their touchdown rates don't tend to carry over a year to year when it's a career high level.
8:41So we're expecting Matthew Stafford to throw less touchdowns.
8:44Who does that impact on us? Probably a guy like Devontae Adams.
8:48I would say to a point of when you're trying to find value in this Rams offense.
8:53We talked about this on a show I did with Welsh and John Daigle about breakout players based on Vegas odds.
8:59And the guy that I kind of came to that I was a player I wasn't really talking or thinking about as
9:06a breakout player, but it's Blake Corham. Right. Someone that's going outside the top 30 running backs.
9:12He has a path to touches even alongside a healthy Kyron Williams, where I really wouldn't be surprised if we look up
9:19and Blake Corham and Kyron Williams have a very similar stat line.
9:22If both guys are healthy, whether it's from a touchdown perspective, whether it's from a rushing arts perspective, Corham was explosive last year.
9:30He's more explosive than Kyron Williams is. Now, again, Kyron Williams is a steady Eddie asset.
9:35He has his role and Sean McVay loves him, but Sean McVay also loves Blake Corham and Blake Corham's entering year three.
9:42So there is a chance that he eats more into Kyron Williams workload and he is kind of this breakout player in this office.
9:49And then also give a shout out to Terrence Ferguson as well.
9:53Another player, because there are so many tight ends in this offense.
9:57OK, if one guy could potentially have a larger piece of the pie, Terrence Ferguson as a second year player would be
10:04another player that I'm looking at as very undervalued based on playing in a high powered offense.
10:09Yeah. To your point, Matthew Stafford, career high, 7.7 touchdown rate last year, which was 0.9% higher than any previous season he'd had.
10:16And it was 0.7% higher than Brock Purdy and Lamar Jackson, who tied for second, like that level of efficiency.
10:22And quite often from MVP caliber seasons, we see that touchdown point spike and then it drops back down pretty consistently.
10:29And I'm not saying I don't think the Rams are good values.
10:33I think it's OK to laugh makes a good point here that potentially some of them should be going higher.
10:39But Devontae Adams, like missed time because of injury, he's getting on in age.
10:43He was massively reliant on a huge amount of red zone targets and the touchdowns.
10:48Then you look at Kyron Williams, where you can poke Blake Corum hole in it.
10:53Like it's not that people don't like these players.
10:56It's just there's little bits where Puka is the only clear cut one that really makes absolute sense.
11:01And even Terrence Ferguson, yes, we're getting good reports, but there's a ton of tight ends there.
11:07So I very much understand why some people are slightly more hesitating on them.
11:11But excited to see where they go in the FFPC draft, which we do, which kicks off in one minute 20.
11:18Andrew's drafting from the 104. I'm drafting from 105.
11:20So there's going to be lots to keep up our sleeves whilst we try to make sure we get our own players.
11:27Any predictions, Tom? On what direction I'm going to go with the fourth overall pick?
11:32Well, you're going to go with Drake May because Drake May will be there as he is in every draft because his ADP is lower than that.
11:41His ADP is 7.8. 7, yeah. I mean, like I say, I'm closing in on like 50 drafts in this $35 FFPC Superflex contest.
11:48And I have 22% exposure to Lamar Jackson because he's my 102 in Superflex.
11:52I think that's Josh Allen and I think it's Lamar Jackson.
11:56Now, you can look at the way ADP falls this year and it does slightly favor going running back early and then QB in the second round.
12:04But I never take Lamar at the 102 because normally I can take Jameer Gibbs there because I don't get much exposure to him.
12:12But I'm taking Lamar at the 103, the 104, the 105, the 106.
12:16I saw one of these drafts where he went at the 110 this weekend.
12:20And, you know, I'm confident in Lamar. I'm betting on the bounce back for a bunch of reasons that we've talked about
12:27throughout the offseason, including better guard play. Producer Sal, if you could pull up the draft board, please, because we're about to get underway in this draft.
12:36But I think that all the talk at training camp for the Ravens has been incredibly positive as well.
12:42So, yeah, 22% might be a touch higher exposure than I want, but I'm not going to let him slip past me.
12:49Andrew, are you starting to feel worried about your Drake May bags at all?
12:53No. I did actually want to ask you if, as someone that's a little bit more experienced playing best ball for more
13:00of a portfolio type of purpose, does it make sense for me to just kind of go all in on Drake May or do I, should I diversify?
13:09Because again, I got no problem taking someone like, so we'll see who's available.
13:13Like if Chase is there, like, is it like, what would you recommend to someone that's kind of like, do I diversify?
13:20Do I not diversify? Like what's your expertise on that?
13:23It comes out of risk management. So Felix, who won the DraftKings Millie maker a few years back, he had like 60%
13:30exposure to Cooper Cup the year that Cooper Cup went insane.
13:34And it worked out for Felix. He ended up with $1 million or $2 million, I can't remember what it was.
13:40Because every time he got to the fourth round and Cooper Cup was a fifth round play, he pulled him up into the fourth round.
13:48So he had different combinations to other people. He built up a portfolio where he had every combination you could possibly imagine with Cooper Cup.
13:56But he was also willing to lose his complete entry fee saying, if it's not Cooper Cup who wins me this tournament, I'm fine with it.
14:04And I think that's where you have to come down on Drake May.
14:08Are you playing to advance into week 14, 15?
14:11Or do you want to say, I believe in Drake May in week 17, he's going to be the best quarterback on the board.
14:19He's going to be the best quarterback this year.
14:21And I'm happy to lose my entry fees if I'm wrong.
14:25Love to hear it. Drake May is the pick.
14:28That's exactly what I need to hear from you, Tom.
14:31Well, I'm going to mix things up and I'm going to draft Jamar Chase instead of Lamar Jackson.
14:36So that was really the ploy. You wanted Jamar Chase and you do that if you sold me on take a Drake
14:43May, he would fall right into your lap. A little bit of like going, okay, I would like Jamar Chase, but mainly
14:50I'm just hedging against 22% exposure to Lamar Jackson.
14:53Like in first round, I don't want to be massively overexposed to one player.
14:57There's so many good picks in the first round that I don't want to have holes in my portfolio.
15:03But we've talked Jamar Chase in a second. If you are unfamiliar with our FFPC best ball streams over here on the
15:10Fantasy Pros channel, this is the Fantasy Pros draft assistant.
15:13We've synced our draft with the draft assistant. So this board is following the FFPC board in real time.
15:19Helps us see best available players. You can load in your own rankings.
15:24I know Andrew tends to have his rankings alongside FFPC Superflex ADP.
15:27It lets you track roster needs, get pick by pick recommendations based on this room, not just the rankings behind it.
15:34And it helps you look at value, roster construction, stacks, upside, bi-weeks, whatever your team needs.
15:39So if you're drafting in best ball, dynasty, super flex, or even your home redraft league, go to fantasypros.com forward slash assistant.
15:46We'll download the Fantasy Pros app, sync your draft, and use the draft assistant to make smarter picks in real time.
15:52So yes, I went Jamar Chase. And it's just hard to bypass a guy who's had 175 and 185 targets in the last two years.
16:00But it would be remiss of me not to mention that it doesn't sound like the Bengals training camp is going incredibly well.
16:07They're putting a big emphasis on play action plays, playing under center for Joe Burrow, something that he's not done a lot of in his career.
16:16And it sounds like the biggest overhaul of their offense since Joe Burrow got to the NFL.
16:21Is that the kind of thing that you think by the time the games start playing will be completely fine?
16:27Or for a Bengals team that have been notorious slow starters, is it just should I have gone with Lamar Jackson instead of Jamar Chase?
16:35Hmm, that is a good question. I think maybe it'll be dependent on who you get with your second pick and see
16:42how the 2v2, because I think that's always the question, right?
16:45When you're talking about the opportunity cost, whether it's one player versus another player, because it's really we're building the best teams, right?
16:53That's really the goal here. It's not just pick the best players to build the best team overall.
16:58That's ultimately what wins you these types of tournaments.
17:01So I do think the Bengals will be okay, though.
17:04Again, Jamar Chase would have been my pick if I didn't go with Drake May.
17:09So that's something that they've changed in the Zack Taylor regime, where they used to basically just sit all their guys in the preseason.
17:17But we just saw them play the Lions in week one of the preseason.
17:21They played their starters because they are sick and tired of starting the year out playing the Cleveland Browns on the road
17:28looking like crap and then starting the season 0-2 or 0-3 and then have to dig out of that hole.
17:34So obviously last year they started out well. Joe Burr obviously got hurt, which is kind of what derailed things, but they're committed to starting fast.
17:42And I think that any type of growing pains they go through, maybe getting to the preseason, I think they'll be ready for week one.
17:50Week one against the Buccaneers should be a fun shootout.
17:53One of the games I've got already has a 50 and a half point total.
17:58Just look at some of the week one projections you can find on find those on betting pros.
18:04Love it. So to recap where we're at in the draft for the audio listeners, we're in round two.
18:10The draft started Jameer Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, Josh Allen, before Andrew took Drake May, I took Jamar Chase at the 105, Pukinukua,
18:17Brock Bowers, Lamar Jackson, Jaden Daniels, Christian McCaffrey, Amon Rasain Brown, Jonathan Taylor, Ashton Gentey, JSN, James Cook, Trey McBride, CeeDee Lamb.
18:23If you're unfamiliar with this format, it is Titan premium.
18:27So Titans get an extra half PPR point per catch.
18:30You can play multiple flex spots in this one as well as the super flex.
18:34So it does nullify the QB position slightly. If you don't have them, it's possible to build out really strong teams with
18:41lots of running backs, lots of wide receivers to build around a single quarterback instead.
18:46I was hoping Joe Burrow would make it back to me, but he goes two picks before me to Brock Bowers team, followed by Justin Jefferson.
18:54I'm on the clock looking at a choice of Jalen Hurts, Caleb Williams, Amarian Hampton, Chase Brown, Justin Herbert, Dak Prescott, plenty of quarterbacks.
19:02Andrew, the draft assistant would be pushing towards Justin Herbert.
19:05Is that where you would go with this pick?
19:08If I was going quarterback, yeah, that's probably what direction I would go in.
19:12I will not be going quarterback though. I'm going to be hitting one of these running backs here as we start to
19:19see this running back tier kind of dry out a little bit.
19:23And I want to make sure I get one of these top guys so you can guess which running back I want.
19:30You should take quarterback though. So he falls to me.
19:33Well, I'm going to hedge my bets a little bit because this quarterback grouping looks really good and so good that I
19:40think that we're going to see some good players fall back to us.
19:44And I'm not going to take Amarian Hampton or Chase Brown who are ahead of my guy in ADP.
19:50I'm going to take Saquon Barkley. I think that the hate on Saquon Barkley has gone too far.
19:55I think that so much of last year was down to Kevin Petullo.
20:00I think that the offensive line being injured for the Eagles was also not something that helped.
20:05And we expected regression for Saquon Barkley last year.
20:08Saquon Barkley, this time last year we were talking about how the absurd number of explosive runs and the absurd workload that
20:15he had, of course it was going to regress.
20:17But this year I feel quite confident in him.
20:20Maybe we don't ever see an RB1 season overall, but I think that you could still see a top three season from Saquon Barkley.
20:28Andrew, with your second round pick, where did you go?
20:31Chase Brown. And talking about this high power Bengals offense a little bit more under center, I think that actually benefits Chase
20:38Brown being a big part of this offense. We saw in the first preseason game, the split was close to 70% for Chase Brown, 30% for Samajay Pirine.
20:47Typical of what we saw last year when during the second half stretch, Chase Brown was averaging around a 70% snap share.
20:54He was RB3 in fantasy points per game. So I think that some people might have saw those splits and, and kind
21:00of gotten concerned about, oh no, it's like a committee.
21:04No, it's exactly what we saw last year when Chase Brown was just totally ripping it up.
21:09And Samajay Pirine is one of these players that yeah, he has a role, but he's not good enough to actually take
21:16over this backfield in any way, shape or form.
21:19Like he has his role complimentary piece keeps Chase Brown fresh.
21:22And I think Chase Brown is in for his best year yet.
21:26So very, very excited to get him on the roster.
21:29Yeah. To your point, Nathan Yankee of PFF made this point, but I think Pirine in the games with Pirine last year,
21:36Chase Brown was the RB9 as opposed to RB7 in the games without like it was a fractional difference.
21:42Opinion line, appreciate you chiming in in the chat and following us over here on Twitch.
21:47Flacco is a big help for Bengals opinion line says that's absolutely true.
21:51It's so nice to know that you've got at least something reliable behind Joe Burrow because the injuries definitely are a little bit of a nightmare.
21:59Andrew's back on the clock after his pick. It went Devon Ochan, Kenneth Walker, Jalen Hurts, Caleb Williams, AJ Brown, Derek Henry, and Justin Herbert.
22:07Were you happy to see Justin Herbert fall all the way around to you there as the QBA?
22:13Yeah, I think that Justin Herbert has top five QB upside.
22:16I don't go into a lot of these super flex drafts with the idea that, OK, I got to get two quarterbacks
22:23with my first three picks or something along those lines.
22:26But when I wait too long at quarterback, sometimes I I don't like my roster.
22:31And yeah, if I take a quarterback in a super flex format, I want to make sure that I think this guy can be super, super elite.
22:39So even if Justin Herbert outscores Drake May this year or vice versa, where I got Justin Herbert in round three, this
22:46could be his best season yet in a Shanahan type style offense.
22:50We're all kind of trying to figure out the pecking order of the skill position players between the running backs, the tight ends, the receivers.
22:58We have an idea of what will be just based on what we've seen these guys do at the NFL level.
23:04But when push comes to shove, the one that's facilitating this offense is going to be Justin Herbert.
23:10So confident he's going to have a monster season.
23:13So to get him in round three again, I was staring him and O'Marion Hampton against same team, same offense.
23:19But considering I could start two quarterbacks, I feel way better about the floor ceiling combination of Justin Herbert knowing that, hey,
23:26I mean, he's not going to be losing touches to Keaton Mitchell or come on about that or whatever.
23:32Like that's not going to happen where that still is possible with O'Meara and Hampton.
23:37So that's why I just went with Herbert. Feel good about getting two top five potential quarterbacks here.
23:42Yeah, I was quite happy to let you make the decision for me on that one.
23:47I went with Dak Prescott after your pick and I find it hard to separate them too much.
23:53I think both really high end passes, both with potential of 4,000 yard seasons.
23:58Obviously, Dak Prescott has done it a bit more than Justin Herbert has done, but plenty sets up well for Justin Herbert this year.
24:05I think I have slightly more confidence in the Cowboys to play fast like Dak Prescott always seems to want to play
24:12fast when he's out there and that tends to lead to fantasy points.
24:16So I'm happy enough, but I don't think there was really a wrong answer there.
24:21QB is really going off the board now. So the team at the seventh slot now has two QBs.
24:27We saw the team at one slot has two QBs, obviously yourself.
24:31So things are going to start to drop off of the quarterback.
24:34We're already through 12 quarterbacks through 12 running backs, eight wide receivers and two tight ends at this point.
24:40Andrew, you mentioned the Bucks playing the Bengals in week one about high over under, but we're going to mention a Mecca
24:47Ibuka who, according to Todd Bowles says it, well, Todd Bowles, maybe we don't need to pay attention to what he says, but what he doesn't say.
24:56But it sounds very much like Mechareg Buka could be dealing with turf toe right now.
25:01And according to Jeff Mueller, one of the better fantasy football doctors out there, he said that it's worth considering that week
25:08one might look a little ugly for Mechareg Buka.
25:10Are you starting to worry slightly about that situation?
25:13Does it give you any pause? Is there anybody like Chris Godwin that you'd be willing to pull up a little further because of this injury?
25:21I don't know if I'm going to be pulling up any of the other Bucks players per se.
25:27I think that it's more of maybe going in a different direction than at Buka in his wide receiver range, because he's
25:34in a really good round tier of a lot of upside receivers, receivers that are proven producers in that wide receiver kind of 15, 16 range.
25:42So I think now if you are undecided, if you want to go with a Buka or another player, the injury is
25:49now kind of shifting my targets to potentially somebody else like a Buka or a Mekonki, a Buka or T Higgins, a
25:56Buka or is someone that we just saw go off the board here.
26:00Malik neighbors. So I think neighbors is now clearly ahead, obviously going ahead of the guys like London Pickens, Olave, Rashi Rice
26:07means a flowers versus a Buka was also kind of like a debate.
26:11I'm going with a flowers in that type of scenario.
26:14So we saw the injuries really derail like Buka last year.
26:18And I hate to write a guy off so early on and I don't want to do that.
26:23But at the same time, you've got to acknowledge these foot injuries for receivers.
26:28It's one of the most important things. Again, they use their feet to get open to build separation.
26:33So it is really concerning. He's going to miss all this time.
26:37And actually, the guy I did move down was actually Baker Mayfield.
26:41Like that's something I'm more concerned about because we saw how things when he lost his receivers last year, how he didn't perform at a high level.
26:49And that concerns me about Baker Mayfield because I was really torn between like Baker and Jordan Love, Jared Goff.
26:56Goff to me in that tier just seems super, super safe where, hey, if you look at the projections that we have
27:02on the site, I mean, Jared Goff's projected to leave the NFL in passing yards this year.
27:08And he goes and he goes so late and I get where he goes because he doesn't offer any rushing type of upside.
27:15But in terms of stability at quarterback, that is so critical to having a super flex format like that is such a nice piece to have here.
27:24So, again, if I hadn't gone with two quarterbacks early on, Jared Goff would definitely be one of those guys that I
27:30would have been circling on my sheet here. Did he go?
27:34Yeah. And he went the end of the third round.
27:37And again, I think that is really good value for a quarterback like him.
27:41It's a different conversation, I think, in a one QB league where because he doesn't offer that type of rushing week winning ceiling.
27:49Yeah. Stability is so critical that you have in a two quarterback format.
27:53Yeah. And he's stacked with him on Ross St.
27:56Brown. They're taking us to wide receiver three, which makes a bunch of sense.
28:00Bunning FF in the chat saying feels like every time I try to go late QB this year, no one else does.
28:07And they all pick three early and I'm screwed.
28:10It definitely can shake out like that sometimes. And, you know, there's a couple of teams in here that are pushed quarterback.
28:17Drake London goes wide receiver 10. Andrew, as you were talking there, I clocked with Drake London was still on the board.
28:24And I was saying a prayer to the fantasy football gods that he would make it back to me.
28:29This is why we see the 10 in the fourth round.
28:33Clearly this draft board. I mean, clearly this draft board watched the Falcons offense against the Broncos on Friday night.
28:39And it was not pretty. I mean, Drake London wasn't out there.
28:43So that's part of the reason why the offense looks so bad.
28:47Yeah, exactly. Maybe two would have looked great if we'd put Drake London out there.
28:51Yeah, I'm going to take George Pickens to stack with Dak Prescott.
28:55It's quite a similar tier for me amongst a bunch of these players.
28:59So I'm quite happy to just lean into the stacking side.
29:03For anyone unfamiliar, let me run you down this format whilst Andrew makes his pick.
29:07Your starting lineup is a one quarterback, two running back, two wide receiver, one tight end, and then two flex spots.
29:14One, which is a super flex spot, but you can also play running back, wide receiver or tight end.
29:20And then your second flex, which is running back, wide receiver or tight end.
29:24Obviously in this tight end premium format, the tight ends, if you double up or you take those guys early, they can
29:31be really valuable and they can kind of counterbalance some of the quarterback scoring.
29:36This is traditional best ball tournament. Weeks 1 to 14, we play against the 12 teams in this league.
29:42Then top two teams advance. In week 15, the top two teams advance.
29:46Week 16, the top two teams advance. And then in week 17, we have an 84 person final with $100,000 up top
29:53falls dramatically to $15,000 for second place. 7K to third, 4K to fourth and fifth place.
29:58And this is just how it is on FFPC.
30:01It's quite top heavy. But even if you make it through the initial group stages, you end up with a lot of
30:07$125 credits as a way of making up for it.
30:11And that tournament's a lot of fun. So it's a good place to play.
30:15I definitely enjoy this contest. One of my favorite, not just coincidentally because it's one of the ones I've done the best in the past.
30:23Andrew, you started Drake May, Chase Brown, Justin Herbert.
30:26And which player have you just added to your roster?
30:29I added Rashi Rice as my wide receiver one.
30:32And clicking the button on Rice never feels good.
30:34It's just one of these players that you just kind of have to click the button, trust your rankings where you have
30:41them, and just kind of hope that it works out because I totally see how things can go south with someone like
30:48Rashi Rice, who has never really put together a complete season for a myriad of reasons because of off-field stuff, because of injuries, he can't stay healthy.
30:57But last year when he was on the field, top five in fantasy points per game.
31:02So hoping that with Mahomes looking a little bit healthier, that he continues to be a productive part of this offense and
31:09getting him here at the essentially four or five turn.
31:12I think it's still good value. So I think that the risk is at least baked in with Rashi Rice because we
31:19know he has a ton of upside if he is healthy and out there.
31:23So yeah, that's my spiel on Rashi Rice. Again, he's a player that you don't have to reach forever because he always
31:30falls to whoever just, okay, I'll take the shot on Rashi Rice.
31:34I mean, the good side with Rashi Rice is like last year, third most designed plays despite only playing eight games.
31:40Like just an absurd 33% percentage of his plays were designed plays last year.
31:45You just don't tend to see that kind of number.
31:48The downside is that if you removed screens from his output, then he dropped to 21st in fantasy points per game, 31st
31:55in target share and yards per game. And obviously, this is a different offense under Eric Biennemi.
32:00Rashi Rice hasn't played with Eric Biennemi. The training camp reports on Rashi Rice right now are not overly positive.
32:06But I think if we were getting positive reports, then Rashi Rice goes up to the Nico Collins area.
32:12Like I don't think people would have a problem taking him as wide receiver eight.
32:17So maybe it's one we look back on in a few weeks and things look dramatically different.
32:22Andrew's back on the clock in round five. I started with Jamar Chase, Saquon Barkley, Dak Prescott, George Pickens.
32:28Here's Drake May, Chase Brown, Justin Herbert and Rashi Rice.
32:32The players at the top of ADP are Tyler Shook, Baker Mayfield, Jordan Love, Cam Scadabo, Zay Flowers, Josh Jacobs, Emekareg Buka, Malik Willis and Ladd McConkie.
32:40Sam Darnold, Travis A-Chan, Tee Heans, Daniel Jones. You could take Ladd McConkie and stack him up with Justin Herbert instead.
32:47You break my heart and take Zay Flowers, but fair enough, Andrew, you've stood on conviction on that one all offseason.
32:53Yes, Zay Flowers is the pick for me. It's actually a tough decision I have to make sometimes because I do have
33:00Rice ranked ahead of Zay Flowers, but because they do go so close in ADP, there are situations where I take Rice
33:07and then I don't get a chance to get Zay Flowers and that makes me feel sick, especially when it's a player
33:14like Rice that you're taking over someone that you're so high on and is Zay Flowers.
33:19So it's one that I look at in my rankings consistently.
33:22And a lot of people have asked me in our Discord of, you know, how early is too early to take Zay Flowers?
33:30Now, this isn't in a super flex format, so it's a little bit different, but people have been asking me, do I
33:37take him at the early round three, like late round two?
33:40And I want to be bullish on him, but I also want to remain somewhat grounded with the takes.
33:46And it's like, no, like I'm still taking George Pickens over Zay Flowers.
33:50Just, you know, Pickens was a top five guy last year and we are still projecting Zay Flowers.
33:56And there is a chance still that the red zone stuff doesn't grow.
34:00Like I am forecasting that potential role, but worst case scenario, Zay Flowers delivers where you get him at his current ADP.
34:07The issue with reaching on him, if you just go two ahead, is if he doesn't get this expanded red zone role,
34:14and it is like five or six touchdowns again, then he may be a little bit of a disappointment.
34:20But again, still think the ceiling can be really high for Zay Flowers.
34:24But happy that I didn't have to make that decision here.
34:27I was able to get Rice and Zay Flowers.
34:30So rounding up my wide receivers. So I took Tyler Shuck as my QB2, QB18 off the board.
34:36Obviously, the disappointing news kind of came through over the last few days that Jordan Tyson is set to miss time.
34:42This has been a reoccurring theme for him. Is he off your draft boards currently?
34:47Man, I moved him down significantly just to account for time missed because it looks like he probably won't even be available for week 1L.
34:55So I think I did bump up Olave a little bit to the top of whatever tier that he was already.
35:01He was already pretty close to a top tier, but just kind of because I was a little concerned that Tyson would
35:08kind of eat into Chris Olave's bottom line. Yeah.
35:11I now think Olave is like just so clearly ahead of the rest of the other Saints, pass catchers and receivers.
35:18Actually, the guy probably moved up the most and someone I might actually try to target in this draft is Jawan Johnson.
35:25Oh, you'll have to fight me for it. I've been hiring Jawan Johnson for a while.
35:30People don't want to talk about Jawan Johnson. Jawan Johnson, he had nine top 12 fantasy finishes last year despite scoring only three touchdowns.
35:37I think he had almost 900 yards, but people don't want to talk about it.
35:42Instead, he's buried in ADP because he's not fashionable.
35:45But if you're talking about a team like the Saints who play fast, the starters tend to stay on the field a lot.
35:52They get a high snap share, which is what Jawan Johnson had last year because you're not rotating.
35:58You're playing at a high tempo pace and Jawan Johnson is good enough and I fully believe in him.
36:04So yes, very interested to see where that one goes.
36:07Yeah. I think that myself included, I tried to bury Jawan Johnson after the Saints added Tyson.
36:12They drafted Delp. They added Noah Fant. So you're just looking at, oh, is there going to be more competition?
36:18But the reports out of Saints training camp have been that Jawan Johnson looks the part, picking up where he was last year.
36:26And we have to mention that he goes back with Tyler Shuck all the way back to their Oregon days when Tyler Shuck was Justin Herbert's backup quarterback.
36:34So there's a relationship there. He has trust. And I mean, there's no one else in this offense that you're expecting to
36:41command a high target here, especially if Tyson is going to miss time.
36:45And Vele, I think we all see as a pretty limited player in terms of his upside.
36:51He's a much older prospect. So we know that he doesn't have a very high ceiling.
36:56But Jawan Johnson, the steady pro. I mean, even in one tight end leagues, like non-tight end premium, Jawan Johnson needs to
37:03be on people's radars as, hey, week one, the Saints are playing the Lions.
37:07Like this is a game that could potentially be a shootout in a dome.
37:11And if there's no Tyson, we know that the targets are going to be concentrated on Chris Olave and Jawan Johnson.
37:18So both of those guys could have massive week ones.
37:21So very much want them in both best ball formats and in redraft, especially as you start you want to start the season on a high note.
37:30KZ Nitro's in the chat asking Javante Williams for Lad McConkie and Tucker Kraft thoughts.
37:34If you can get somebody to give you Lad and Kraft, absolutely smash that all day.
37:39I would not be trading away Lad McConkie and Tucker Kraft for Javante Williams.
37:44Andrew, I assume you're the same there. Yeah, I don't even need to know what the format is for this.
37:50Because I was like, is this dynasty? Is it a redraft?
37:53It doesn't really matter. You're getting Kraft. 10 points per carry.
37:57Yeah. Yeah. That's what kind of league it has to be, basically.
38:01Yeah. And we truly appreciate the comment, though, KZ Nitros.
38:04And if you've got comments, just drop them in.
38:07I mean, we appreciate each and every one of you hanging out over here with us on Twitch.
38:12If you're enjoying the stream, just make sure you follow us over here on Twitch.
38:17I mean, I've seen the schedule. The schedule is busy with fantasy football content coming on Twitch over the next few weeks.
38:24If you subscribe, you get to unlock different emotes.
38:27You get to watch us ad-free. Consider subscribing. It will make your life a lot easier as you try to win this year.
38:34So we're into round six now. So Cam Skadabo went after my Tyler Shuck pick.
38:39Then T Higgins, Josh Jacobs, Jordan Love, DeAndre Swift, Baker Mayfield, Malik Willis, Jalen Waddell, Ladd Bukonki, Garrett Wilson, Travis Etienne, depending
38:46on how you want to pronounce it. I'm trying.
38:48I'm trying. But we're down to QB 22 will be the next one.
38:52We've also had Y Receiver 20 and Mekareg Buka goes off the board here.
38:57Running back 20. And we've only had four tight ends go off the board.
39:01Normally, start seeing a couple more around here. Blue Sky, I'm going to get to your comment in a couple of minutes,
39:08but we'll let myself and Andrew make these picks as we get around this turn.
39:13Top of ADP looks like this. Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, CJ Strouds.
39:17We're kind of hitting another QB tier before it gets to the real dregs of the position.
39:22Andrew, what do you think I'm going to want to do with my sixth round pick after starting Jamar Chase, Saquon Barkley,
39:29Dak Prescott, George Pickens, and Tyler Shook? I don't think you're going to go with another quarterback because you have your two guys there now.
39:37So I think that maybe you'll go with another wide receiver.
39:40Is that the direction that you'll go in? Yeah?
39:43A little receiver action? I'm on the clock here.
39:46I know that's what I'm going to do probably.
39:49So we'll see. Or tight end. Or Juwan Johnson.
39:52Yeah, I'm... Too early? Maybe. Maybe just slightly too early.
39:55I quite like this range of the draft. I think there's a few players who are interested.
40:00I'm not really interested in the Panthers at this point.
40:03I don't find anything fun about drafting anyone on the Panthers.
40:07I'm going to take Lufa Burden. I've been heavy, heavy on Colson Loveland.
40:11My most rostered tight end in this tight end premium format.
40:14And I haven't drafted a lot of Lufa Burden as a fallout of that.
40:19But I think Lufa Burden's about as cheap as he's going to get.
40:23That's why I receive a 21 in this draft.
40:25I think that we'll see him back on the training field pretty soon.
40:29And that'll cause his price to go up a little bit.
40:33And it's not that I've never believed in Lufa Burden.
40:36I just wasn't happy to buy him at the top when I would rather go with Colson Loveland.
40:42You went with Terrell McMillan. You must be happier than I would be to be drafting a Carolina Panther.
40:48Because I'm drafting a stud. I'm drafting the receiver that actually won Offensive Rookie of the Year last year.
40:54And he's going behind guys like Luthor Burden, who is projection.
40:57And Mecca Ibuka, who fell off in the second half of the last season.
41:02So I'm going with the guy that actually was the proven producer last year.
41:06So I think T-Mac, I understand the qualms of the Panthers offense.
41:10Totally get that. But he was in the same offense last year.
41:13And he was very, very productive. Throwing in as the alpha from day one.
41:18So, yeah. Give me T-Mac, who opens the season up against the Chicago Bears.
41:22Arguably the worst defense in the NFL. So ready for that.
41:26Have you considered that the Panthers don't actually have an offensive line?
41:29Iki Okonwu has been banged up and missed plenty of training camp.
41:33Taylor Motten on NFI. And then this week, Dave Canales wanted to play their stars.
41:38But the interior guards, I think both of them didn't play.
41:41And it showed. Like, Jonathan Brooks couldn't go anywhere.
41:44Because, you know, they were just waving guys through.
41:47Any concern that, you know, you're relying on a not ideal sized quarterback behind an offensive line that is very banged up already?
41:54Or are you just willing to put all your chips in on the talent of Ted Oroa?
42:00Willing to put all the chips in on the talent of Ted Oroa.
42:04And with the caveat that all the chips include him being drafted here in the sixth round.
42:09I'm not drafting any Panthers before round six here.
42:12I think that's probably a wide receiver three for me.
42:15So, yeah. I think that he already outproduced this ADP last year.
42:19So, again, don't think the Panthers are going to be a juggernaut in offense by any way, shape, or form.
42:25But I think that whatever they do in terms of their actual production will be driven mostly by T-Mac, Jalen Coker, Jonathan Brooks, etc.
42:33So, I just like buying the talent. Yeah. I think that's fair.
42:36Well, Andrew's back up on the clock since his last pick.
42:40CJ Stroud, DJ Moore, Tucker Craft, Roma Doonze, Kyle Pitts, and Sam Donald all go off the board.
42:45The players at the top of ADP are Byshell2 and Quinchon Judkins, Cam Ward, Bucky Irving, Terry McLaurin, Trevion Henderson, Bryce Young, Jadarian Price, and Sam LaPorta.
42:54Andrew takes Harold Fanning. I'm going to take Sam LaPorta and let the tight ends battle this one out.
43:00I feel very good about Sam LaPorta. All indications are that he's going to have a very big role in this offense this year.
43:07I assume you feel very good about Harold Fanning, too.
43:11Yes. To quote preseason GOAT usage, Nathan Yonke from Pro Football Focus, Harold Fanning played nine of ten snaps with the Brown starters through the first two drives.
43:19Sean Watson obviously played longer into the game because I want him to get more of an extended run of whether he's
43:26going to be their starting quarterback or not. But in terms of the starting offensive line, those guys all came out at
43:33the same time along with Harold Fanning. And Fanning, I think alone, just based on deployment, he's never coming off the field
43:40in this offense, which is rare for a tight end.
43:43So although Fanning is in that kind of no man's land of he's a middle tier tight end where you see him
43:50ranked eight, six, seven type of range, usually you want to avoid that.
43:54It's a little bit different in this type of format where you are getting the tight end premium.
44:00And I just think that he profiles closer to guys going ahead of him than he does the guys going behind him.
44:07He's a tight end that could lead his team in targets, which is something that is only a handful of guys even are in that type of conversation.
44:16He showed out as a rookie like he was just as efficient last year as a guy like Tyler Warren, who goes
44:22four rounds ahead of him when, yes, we're expecting Daniel Jones to be better than the Browns quarterbacks.
44:28The Colts often should be better than the Browns quarterbacks, but Harold Fanning was a tight end seven last year with Shader
44:35Sanders as his quarterback, a rookie quarterback, a rookie tight end as a fourth round pick, dusted David Njoku and was a
44:42staple in fantasy life, especially in the second half of the season.
44:46So Harold Fanning was someone that I kind of soured on after they drafted a Boston, they drafted Concepcion, but I think
44:53that there's still plenty of meat left on the bone with him entering his second season.
44:58And I think it's kind of a value where he goes just based on where you could see him being the focal point of this offense.
45:06I know that one of the Browns brief reporters from the athletic talked about how, yes, this passing game is still going
45:13to be going through Harold Fanning Jr. So given that with the usage where he's running around on 90% plus of the
45:20dropbacks, that is that could be he could lead the NFL in routes run like we saw from Jamie Bride last year.
45:27So I love Harold Fanning here as a tight end to kind of make that leap potentially in the top five this year.
45:34Yeah, and their defense without Jim Schwartz and Myles Garrett is definitely going to take a step back and potentially put them in more pass heavy scripts.
45:42I mean, last year, the Bills trailed by nine or more points more often than the Browns did.
45:48Like they are not going to be as comfortable this year.
45:51Let's take some of these questions. Blue Sky 72, deep keeper league.
45:55Do I dare keep Ladd McConkie over Tee Higgins, Andrew?
45:58In a deep keeper league? Assuming the price is the same.
46:02Yeah, I would do that. Ladd is younger. If you have more of a runway with what he could do for the
46:09rest of his career, because let's say he does really fire in Mike McDaniels.
46:13First season as the offensive play caller. Ladd's entering his third season.
46:17So, yeah, I think that McConkie has a chance to really shift his dynasty or keeper value the most, whereas Tee Higgins,
46:24I think it's going to be pretty much status quo with him.
46:27And again, he's going to be valued. He's very valued very similarly, just kind of every year.
46:33It just depends on who the other receivers are kind of being talked about.
46:37So I would go with Ladd. Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense.
46:42Tee Higgins has been incredibly touchdown reliant. And obviously we're all betting on the Bengals to have a good season and to
46:49be, you know, very good on offense again. But his numbers really have become very touchdown reliant over the last couple of years.
46:56And I'm slightly, slightly concerned for Tee Higgins going forward.
46:59Don Vito. So I'm a first-time commissioner. The league ended up being 14 players.
47:04Is that too many players to have a tight end spot in the lineup?
47:08I don't think so. I mean, 14 manager league, tight ends, it's one of those where, yes, things are going to get slightly ugly.
47:16But that's much like in a lot of leagues.
47:18You know, if you get people who take a couple of tight ends or you get people who in Superflex League want to dominate and bully the position.
47:27I think that 14 players scrabbling over tight ends is going to keep the league nice and active, actually, Andrew.
47:33Do you agree? Yeah. I think that it's fun when you have to make ugly decisions in your starting lineup.
47:40I think that's really what separates the elite players and really puts a challenge on, okay, who's really grinding the waivers the hardest?
47:47Like, who is really diving deep? Who is reading all the Fantasy Pro's articles?
47:51And those are the people that are going to come out on top.
47:55100%. Well, we are into round eight. Going to get to more of the questions and your comments in the chat, of course.
48:03We'll take as many as we can get to.
48:05So feel free to keep loading them in as we keep drafting this FFPC $35 Superflex Best Ball Contest with $100,000 up top.
48:13I have started the draft. Jamar Chase, Saquon Barkley, Dak Prescott, George Pickens, Tyler Shook, Lufa Burden and Sam Laporta.
48:19Andrew started. Drake May, Chase Brown, Justin Herbert, Rashi Rice, Zay Flowers, Ted Arora McMillan and Harold Fannin.
48:25And the QBs are starting to come off the board.
48:28We have seen Cam Ward, Jacoby Brissett, Fernando Mendoza and Bryce Young all go in the last few picks.
48:34So, Andrew, I'm going to make your team feel a little more uncomfortable.
48:38And I'm going to take Aaron Rodgers, who I think is probably the last quarterback who I feel anywhere near good about rostering.
48:45Of course, Geno Smith is still out there. Will you be going Geno Smith or are you going to push things a bit further?
48:53I think I'll probably push things a little bit further with quarterback.
48:56I always got a chance I could take it on the turnaround here.
49:00So, looking to see where my options are. I mean, Jonathan Brooks there.
49:04He's there on the board. He's one of my.
49:07Yeah, let's just do it. Why not? Wait. No, maybe I shouldn't go with Jonathan Brooks here.
49:13So, let me talk to you once you deliberate.
49:15Yes. We've got Devaney Adams, Jalen Warren, Parker Washington, Ramondre Stevenson, Carnell Tate, Tony Pollard, Jonathan Brooks, George Kittle.
49:21Next tight end in this tight end premium format.
49:24Geno Smith, Marvin Harrison, Travis Kelsey, Rico Dowdle and Brian Thomas.
49:28Five seconds left on the clock for Mr. Andrew Erickson.
49:31Which way are you going? I did not go with Jonathan Brooks.
49:35I went with the wide receiver, Carnell Tate, top five pick.
49:38So, we'll see. Maybe Jonathan Brooks falls back to me.
49:41But I went with the receiver. Again, now we're in a running back range.
49:46This is the RB2 range where you can kind of piece me up together.
49:50Because I only have one running back on my roster.
49:53Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, both of us have kind of gone with a hero running back approach to this.
49:59Chase Brown for yourself. Saquon Barkley for me. And then we're heading towards round nine before taking our second.
50:05But this is the area where I'm comfortable taking plenty of running backs if I'm going zero running back or hero running back.
50:12I want to leave with a couple of running backs from this range.
50:16You know, guys like Ramondri Stevenson, Jonathan Brooks now, Rico Dowdle, Jalen Warren, RJ Harvey even.
50:21I'm comfortable taking him just about at his cost.
50:24Kenny Gainwell, Rashad White, Blake Corrin, JK Dobbins. There are so many guys where it's like, I know that if I have
50:31enough of them, particularly in a best ball format, that I can absolutely cope with the cost of it.
50:37Parker Washington goes at the 8-12. We started this draft with Don Vito saying I missed the days of seven to eight round Parker Washington.
50:45We're over here in Superflex and Titan Premium. You can still get Parker Washington in the eighth round going as the wide receiver 31.
50:52Very much feels like people have gotten on board with the idea that Parker Washington is just going to be the wide receiver one in Jacksonville now.
51:01Yeah, I think that I came to that conclusion a couple of weeks ago after working on my identifying wide receiver one
51:08breakouts for the very first time, just looking at the history of Parker Washington, his prospect profile, how well he's been able
51:15to adapt rapport with Trevor Lawrence through all the season that they played together in Jacksonville.
51:20So, yeah, I think that Parker Washington is here to stay.
51:23I do think that maybe the ceiling could be cap potentially if he is only running from the slot.
51:29I know that we've kind of seen like mixed reports about he's going to be working on the outside, but just in
51:36terms of it not being probably Thomas Jr., I feel very confident about that.
51:41And if it's not him, then it needs to be somebody else in this office that really steps up.
51:47Maybe it could just be they use a bunch of different players and no one really is that wide receiver one.
51:53I know that Liam Cohen's kind of also been on record of saying that, yeah, we don't necessarily have like a wide receiver one.
52:01But in terms of who scored the most fantasy points, I think in the most sense that it would be Parker Washington.
52:08Well, after Parker Washington, Jalen Warren and DK Metcalf both go guys who I would have drafted stack with Aaron Rodgers.
52:14And then Jonathan Brooks goes at RB28 in the top of the ninth round.
52:19Andrew, I know you liked him there. Is there anybody else that you're slamming the button down here with draft assistant kind
52:25of pushing you towards Marvin Harrison, Gino, Ramondre, Brian Thomas?
52:29Yeah, I'm going to go with Ramondre here. I got the chance to and for those that didn't hear the episode over
52:35on the tailgate, talk to Patriots beat reporter Evan Lazar, talked about the backfield a little bit after our conversation on the show.
52:43And we also got a report today from Chad Graff, I believe from the athletic just talking about, yeah, this is going to be a 50 50 backfield.
52:52I have Drake May. So I'm already investing in the Patriots offense here.
52:56Ramondre Stevenson. I know that we want to move on from him.
52:59We want Trayvon Henderson to be the guy, but Henderson is an explosive playmaker.
53:04But Ramondre does everything else right. And he was good last year.
53:08So if he didn't lose his job after foaming the ball a million times, like it's just like he's got to get hurt for.
53:15And that's what we saw last year. He got hurt and Henderson had those monster games.
53:20So, yeah, I think it's going to be a 50 50 committee.
53:24But but Stevenson has a really good chance to continue to capitalize on high value opportunities.
53:29He's an underrated receiver. I know Henderson gets praised a lot for his receiving game, but Stevenson, he can catch passes, too.
53:36And we know that he's dynamite in pass protection, which Henderson is still kind of working through.
53:41It's just really tough for these young running backs when you don't get those live reps a lot at the college level.
53:48So, yeah, I think that Stevenson is here to say it's an offense that I'm obviously excited for.
53:54And don't be surprised. Week one of the starting running back for the Patriots is Ramondre Stevenson coming out of the huddle.
54:01Yeah, I'm pairing him with Drake May. I think a lot of people overthink that in best ball.
54:06I think there's a lot to be said for locking down those kind of weeks where Drake May might pass for a
54:13couple of 50 rushing yards and Ramondre Stevenson gets a couple of goal line touchdowns.
54:18Or, you know, yes, you'll have weeks where Drake May has less fantasy points, but Ramondre gets points.
54:24Essentially, you've locked up a large part of the touchdown equity for the New England Patriots.
54:29I go with Jordan Tyson, who slipped to wide receiver 33 in the ninth round.
54:33I'm happy to take him and stack him with Tyler Shook.
54:37Maybe that won't work out for me, but I'm willing to take an upside swing there and push running back just a
54:44little bit further, which might prove to be a poor tactic with Rico Darrell, RJ Harvey and Kenny Gainwell going off the board straight after my picks.
54:52Axel DeGee in the chat said, What do you all think of Jonathan Brooks been drafting him everywhere in one QB redraft from the eighth to tenth rounds?
55:01Well, the price brick is going up, isn't it, Andrew?
55:04Like, we're not going to be able to see Jonathan Brooks at that point in drafts.
55:09And, I mean, we've talked about Jonathan Brooks probably more than any other player on these best ball shows.
55:15And I've been a hater. But now that Tuba Hubbard is out for pretty much all of training camp, it's kind of
55:22hard not to get on board with it. I haven't drafted a lot of Jonathan Brooks, but this weekend I mixed him
55:29in a couple of times when I saw him slip past ADP.
55:33Are you just feeling like it's fully wheels up and nothing can stop Jonathan Brooks now?
55:38I think that you pointed out some flaws with the Panthers offensive line when I took T-Mac.
55:43So, I do think that's probably what would potentially let him down is actually like the offensive ecosystem for the Carolina Panthers, not necessarily Jonathan Brooks.
55:51Because I think that the talent, the skill set is there for him to be a successful fantasy football pick this year, especially when you can get him.
56:00And so, Axel saying that gets him in 8-10 round area.
56:03I would push him up as early as round 6 in terms of a one quarterback league where you can pretty much
56:10guarantee that you'll get him in that type of format.
56:13You just pull him ahead of ADP as the ADP tries to catch.
56:17I believe real-time ADP has him now within the top 30 running backs.
56:22I know I moved him up a decent chunk after the news of Tuba Hubbard suffering his hamstring injury.
56:28Just because of the pathway for him to cement himself as the RB1 is just so, so obvious.
56:33So, again, I'm feeling a little bit regretful of just not taking him instead of Cardinal Tate.
56:39And I really like Cardinal Tate. I know he didn't really show out during the preseason game because the Titans' offices didn't look that great.
56:46But, again, it's a preseason game and Cardinal Tate was still a top 5 pick.
56:51So, I'm still very confident that Tate can turn this thing around here.
56:55And I don't feel bad about getting Romandre. But I do think that if Brooks doesn't fire, it is because of the
57:02Panthers' offense and not because, oh, he didn't deliver.
57:05He didn't get enough volume. Tuba Hubbard took back the job.
57:08I don't think that's really the scenario at play here.
57:12And, again, going back to who does Carolina face week one?
57:15It's the Chicago Bears. So, I do think that if they struggle against that defense, a defense that we're all projecting to
57:22be pretty bad, then that is the red flag to, okay, if you still got 90% of Jonathan Brooks' value, and not
57:29saying he gets a lot of volume, but the offense looks anemic, maybe that is a, okay, let's flip him, heading into week two.
57:36Just off the hype from the offseason, this Panthers offense ain't it.
57:40You know, don't need to be so grounded in burying your takes about the Carolina Panthers players if this offensive line is just not it.
57:48Yeah, Jonathan Brooks, as you said, going as RB30 in real-time ADP over on FantasyPros.com.
57:53He's up 10 spots in the last seven days, and that is probably going to keep on climbing, currently at the 708 in raw numbers.
58:00So, very much could see him going. And I think part of my argument against Jonathan Brooks has always been the fact
58:07that the poor offensive environment doesn't really give me a lot of faith.
58:11But I think Tuba Hubbard could have a path back to taking the job from him, because even last year, Rico Dowdle
58:18went out and crushed against some bad teams. But then in the playoffs, it was Tuba Hubbard who had like a 60% snap share.
58:26Like, they definitely brought him back in. Tuba Hubbard's path will be pass protection.
58:30If this offensive line is awful, then they're going to need all the help they can get there.
58:36Darren Waller, who signed with him last week, isn't somebody who's going to help with pass blocking.
58:41He's just a big wide receiver. Elsewhere at tight end, they're quite banged up, so it's not like they're necessarily going to
58:48get a lot of help from the tight end position.
58:51They could just be a team who end up needing to throw an extra offensive lineman out there as much as possible,
58:58but they don't really have the bodies to do it.
59:01So, I'm still a little hesitant to take a lot of Jonathan Brooks, but I will mix him in a bit more than I was doing.
59:10We're in round 10. Andrew, I didn't take my second running back like you did in round 9.
59:15I pushed it, so I still have just the one running back as we approach our 10th round pick.
59:21Did I push things too far? I don't think so.
59:24Assuming that you can get some Denver Broncos running backs potentially, or there's a certain running back that we already talked about
59:31on this show today that plays for a really good offense.
59:35Because if you don't take him, I'm going to take him.
59:38I'm so... You've absolutely jinxed me here, and I'm going to guess that either of these two teams before me who only
59:45have, well, they each have three running backs, so potentially he could fall.
59:49Oh, look. There he goes. Off the board. Blake Coran to the team at the 7th slot.
59:54Thank you very much, Mr. Andrew Erickson. Dude, you can take Chuba Hubbard's there.
59:59You got Chuba Hubbard on the board. Yeah, yeah.
60:02You can take him. Freeloady, our newest follower over here on Twitch.
60:05You tuned in just at the right time to see me have to take...
60:10JK Dobbins, because I am not taking Chuba Hubbard right now.
60:13I think that Chuba Hubbard's somebody that is going to fall in plenty of drafts.
60:18People don't want to take injured players. JK Dobbins last week when we streamed had gone off the field but returned soon enough.
60:25Yes, Jonah Coleman showed out quite nicely in training camp, but JK Dobbins is absolutely still the RB1 for as long as he can stay healthy.
60:33And maybe, just maybe, one time, JK Dobbins does stay healthy and everything works out well for me.
60:39Because he was incredibly explosive last year. Andrew, you take Dallas Goddard.
60:43I'm not sure I've seen you draft Dallas Goddard this offseason.
60:46That is correct. Not a tight end that I typically draft, especially in a lot of one tight end formats where he is a late round tight end.
60:55However, I do like the splits in terms of his production.
60:59Also going up when AJ Brown has missed time in the past for the Philadelphia Eagles.
61:04So he also benefits from that. And right now, Makai Lemon is still not practicing.
61:08So I know that Jalen Hurts has built-in chemistry with Dallas Goddard, especially as an underneath option.
61:14So just looking at potential tight ends that could take advantage of this one and a half point per reception, Dallas Goddard
61:21is one of those guys, especially if Devontae Smith is slated in a tougher wide receiver cornerback matchup.
61:26Makai Lemon isn't there yet as a rookie. Well, Dallas Goddard is the next best thing that's not Dontaevion Wicks.
61:32So I think Goddard makes sense, especially in this range where, yeah, we can take shots on multiple tight ends here because of the scoring format.
61:41Yeah, Dallas Goddard never stays healthy. But as you mentioned, Makai Lemon's not healthy.
61:45And Eli Stowers, the reports out of Eagles training camp are very negative on Eli Stowers.
61:50Apparently really struggled with any of the kind of chipping, blocking game.
61:54You don't expect a tight end to come into the league necessarily as an excellent blocker.
61:59Plenty of rookie tight ends have had that as a whole in their game.
62:03But it sounds like it's very pronounced with Eli Stowers, and I'm sure they'll figure it out.
62:09He's a very talented player. The Eagles are a very good team.
62:12But for now, maybe it does bump Dallas Goddard slightly back up the ranks.
62:17Jacori Krosky-Meritt went after that pick. Another running back I would have liked.
62:21Dijon Stribbling after him. Wide receiver two in San Francisco now, potentially.
62:25Brian Thomas, Karl Monongai who has been banged up and dealing with some bits throughout training camp, it seems.
62:31Alec Pearce, Quentin Johnston. Alec Pearce going as wide receiver 39.
62:34Reports suggesting that he's probably a few weeks away from even taking the practice field still.
62:39So definitely some cause for concern, which is why you were able to get him in round 11.
62:45And then Quentin Johnston. Before Andrew reached substantially on one player.
62:48Tell the good people why you had to make that move there.
62:52Because Juwan Johnson was not going to come back to me.
62:55When it's going to have to go through you twice, and you're building up your little saint stack.
63:01So I could not let that happen. So, I mean, he was my highest ranked tight end left.
63:07So I don't think it's a reach. Especially with him moving up boards.
63:11He should be moving up boards because of the Jordan Tyson injury.
63:15And the fact that, as we talked about earlier, I mean, we couldn't even wait to talk about Juwan Johnson.
63:21We were talking about Juwan Johnson in round six.
63:24Not as a player to take there, but someone that is relative to, hey, he's going way too late in some of these drafts.
63:31So I scooped him up here. Again, I feel like this receiver tier is kind of deep.
63:36Where no one is, oh, I got to have this guy.
63:40Whereas, hey, you get to a point with some of these tight ends where you start to actually lose a little bit of the allure.
63:48Of, okay, can this guy actually take advantage of the scoring format?
63:52Whereas Juwan Johnson, if he does what he does last year, racking up a lot of receptions, yardage, targets.
63:58I think that he can take advantage of this one and a half premium.
64:02And maybe I can scoop up some of these other.
64:05Because a lot of these receivers are also injured.
64:08So maybe some of these guys start to fall and I can scoop up some value there on the way back.
64:14Yeah, so Andrew starts Drake May, Chase Brown, Justin Herbert, Rashi Rice, Zay Flowers, Terrell McMillan, Harold Fanning, Connell Tate, Ramondre Stevenson,
64:21Dallas Goddard and Juwan Johnson bullying the room with the tight end position.
64:25The first team to have three tight ends. There's several teams in here without a single tight end or only one of them.
64:33Then I have gone Jamar Chase, Saquon Barkley, Dak Prescott, George Pickens, Tyler Shook, Lufa Bird and Sam Laporte, Aaron Rodgers.
64:39Jordan Tyson stacked with Tyler Shook, scooping that value in the hope that Tyler Shook can return to the field at some point.
64:47J.K. Dobbins is my RB2. And then pivoting when Andrew savagely stole Juwan Johnson away from me.
64:52And taking Jake Ferguson as my tight end too.
64:55Stacking him with Dak Prescott. He led the team with a 23% red zone target share.
65:00Like really strong in the red zone last year.
65:03And hopefully that continues for me. Axel DeGee in the chat asked, is Mike Evans going late in drafts this year?
65:09In this draft he went in the 7th round wide receiver 26.
65:13I think that there is a little bit of a hesitation about Mike Evans because he's missed a little bit of training camp already.
65:20Obviously we've seen this kind of stuff play out with Mike Evans before the substation looms large over there in San Francisco.
65:27But generally when it comes to real-time ADP, looking on Fantasy Pros right now, so looking across like ESPN, Yahoo and Sleeper,
65:34he's actually up four spots in the last week.
65:37Andrew, I assume you don't have any qualms about taking Mike Evans still?
65:41No. No. I think that he has massive touchdown upside.
65:44It's a matter of how many games is he going to play.
65:48I don't think that the Debo Samuel addition, obviously losing Pearsall, I don't think that addition really affects Mike Evans because I
65:55don't think that Samuel and Evans really operate the same area of the field.
65:59I think Evans is much more likely to be on the outside running post routes, go routes, red zone usage, whereas Debo
66:06is going to be underneath guy, jet sweeps, handoffs, as long as we'll see how long it takes for Christian McCaffrey to get back to practice.
66:14So Debo Samuel, the de facto RB2 in this offense as well because his backup running backs can stay healthy for the San Francisco 49ers.
66:22So yeah, I like Mike Evans a lot, especially with him going outside the top 24 wide receivers for the most part.

68:31Andrew, we are 12 rounds into this FFPC $35 Superflex Best Ball Contest.
68:35We've done a bunch of these. You've taken Drake May in a lot of them.
68:40Is this one playing out how you would have liked it to play out?
68:45I think so. I.e. going with a hero RB build, going with two quarterbacks early on, continuing to kind of fire away
68:51at some of these middle round wide receivers that, okay, can this guy take a leap into this 2026 season?
68:58So I think that ultimately, when I go into a draft, not exactly sure how things are going to shake out.
69:04This is the common strategy I like to follow is a hero RB approach.
69:09And that's obviously what I followed here to a T, getting Ramondre.
69:12And now it's just a matter of, can I hit on some of these late round running backs, right?
69:18Because I've already addressed receiver pretty heavily. I don't need to overindulge in that per se.
69:23Whereas I definitely do need to hit on some of these late round running backs.
69:28And there's a couple of guys here on the board that I still like.
69:33So we'll see how things shake out. And we'll have to figure out which Browns quarterback I end up taking because nobody
69:39else is going to want to take any of these guys.
69:43And I have Harold Fannin. So we shall see.
69:46Can you guess which one I'll take, Tom? I'm going to guess you do.
69:50You'd guess correct. Because I'm not taking Deshaun Watson.
69:53Well, what about Michael Penix? Are you any more interested in him after Tua looked pretty rancid at the weekend?
69:59I think that Penix is the best play for the Falcons quarterback room.
70:03Especially with this best ball tournament being more weighted towards the back half of the season during those playoff weeks.
70:10Michael Penix, as long as he's not injured, I think that he's more likely to be the quarterback.
70:15What do they have to gain from Tua playing well in this offense?
70:19Oh, then they're going to extend Tua. He's going to be their quarterback in the future.
70:24No. Like, that's he's a total bridge quarterback. Whereas at least with Michael Penix, hey, if he shows out after his fifth
70:31season ending injury, he said that he was talking about his ACL and his doctors were saying, man, this is a great ACL.
70:39Like, you are all good to go. And I mean, that ACL has gone through the ringer.
70:44So clearly it's got a lot of stuff going on.
70:47But the doctor said it looks good. Super, super ACL.
70:50Yeah. I mean, I might not quite believe that quite as much as yourself.
70:55I think, you know, it's kind of like a used car salesman.
70:58And the way I understand healthcare in America, I'm sure that the doctor's heavily incentivized to say nice things about the ACL.
71:05But over here with our National Health Service, they might be a little more honest and a little more brutal with it.
71:12But after our last picks where we both went tight end in round 11, Josh Downs went off the borders.
71:18Wide receiver 41. Aaron Jones, Chris Godwin, Michael Wilson, Chigakonquo, Chuba Hubbard, Keaton Mitchell.
71:23Greg Dulcich goes at tight end 18. Stacked with Malik Willis on that team at the 112.
71:28Michael Pittman, Hunter Henry, Alvin Kamara, Tua, Jacoby Myers, Wondale Robinson.
71:32I take Chris Rodriguez. And Andrew, you keep building out a little bit of correlation with the Eagles and Makai Lemon pairing him with Dallas Goddard.
71:40Was that deliberate pairing and building that correlation out?
71:43Yeah, I think that that makes a lot of sense from a best ball perspective where Dallas Goddard, when he's healthy, he
71:49can eat up these underneath targets in the Eagles offense.
71:53And then when he ultimately goes down at some point, well, then I hope that Makai Lemon is ready to take on
72:00that type of load as a slot receiver in this Eagles offense.
72:03So I just think that Lemon is falling because of his injury when there's still a chance that he is healthy.
72:10And even if his first couple of weeks are not productive, still making a bet on a second half player.
72:16He was still a first round pick. And this is one of the cheapest prices you're going to get him at where he's not going to be practicing.
72:25So getting, I mean, we can look at this price and be like, oh my God, remember when Makai Lemon and Jacoby
72:32Lane went right next to each other? Right? Like that type of, like talk about this, like, like talk about this, like six weeks ago.
72:40These guys aren't even in the same stratosphere of conversation of rookie receivers.
72:44And now they're going essentially back to back in one of these drafts.
72:48Not saying that's not, not correct based on the new information that we have at our disposal, but still, I want to bet on that draft capital.
72:56I mean, so Jacoby Lane, yeah, we've got to talk about that.
73:00Goes as wide receiver 49 off the board, round 12.
73:03I did three or four of these drafts at the weekend and Jacoby Lane was going no earlier than round 15, round 16 or so.
73:11So that, that has definitely shocked me, even as a Ravens fan who occasionally can be slightly too optimistic about my beloved Ravens.
73:18But seeing him go at that sort of range of the draft is pretty audacious.
73:23Andrew, the Jacoby Lane hype train, it just can't be stopped.
73:27It cannot be stopped. And I will be the first to admit that I will not be boarding this type of hype train for Jacoby Lane.
73:35I won't be boarding that hype train at round 12.
73:38No, no, I'm not. Yeah, I think that when we talked about him last week, maybe I was talking about it with somebody else.
73:45But yeah, he makes sense as a late round dart throw, 16th round, 15th round.
73:50You want to throw him on the back end of your redraft roster, see how things play out.
73:56Sure, definitely. But now you're moving him against a bunch of guys that are already established.
74:01I mean, I'd rather have Debo Samuel, rather have Casey Concepcion.
74:04I mean, Concepcion had a really good preseason game too.
74:07And he's still on the board here. So I would definitely much rather have some of those receivers.
74:13I would rather have Dejan Stribbling obviously went ahead of Jacoby Lane already.
74:17But I think they are players where I would definitely still want Stribbling as well.
74:22Yeah, well, you're on the clock. So I'll let you make your pick.
74:26The top players in ADP at this point are Brenton Strange, Tyron Tracy, Matthew Golden, Xavier Worthy, Debo Samuel, Casey, Concepcion.
74:32Zach Charbonnet, Dalton Schultz, Woody Marks, Jalen Coker, Tajay Spears, Jaden Higgins, Shadur Sanders.
74:37So a good range across the board. Andrew, you went with a running back.
74:41Tell the people who and why. Yeah, I went with Jonah Coleman, rookie running back for the Denver Broncos.
74:47You got to take the Denver Broncos usage in the preseason with a grain of salt because Sean Payton does some really crazy things for the most part.
74:56That being said, what I saw from Jonah Coleman on the field, very impressed by him.
75:01Kind of as advertised coming out, bowling ball type of running back.
75:05No nonsense running back, north and south rusher. And that's exactly what I saw with him against the Atlanta Falcons defense.
75:11And Sean Payton has continued to praise the entire coaching staff has continued to praise Jonah Coleman and how he can be a three down back potentially.
75:20So I think that RJ Harvey has his place in this offense.
75:24I still think that he can be drafted and return his ADP on a high powered offense, especially as a pass catcher.
75:31But in terms of a three down skill set, Jonah Coleman has that.
75:35And I just kind of want to bet against J.K.
75:38Dobbins because he's on Tom's team, number one. And number two, he can never stay healthy.
75:43So this this is assault, assault calling my fantasy football lawyer as we speak.
75:47I'm not sure who it is. Maybe I'll bring in Fitz.
75:51Fitz feels like the kind of guy who would be a good one in this position because this is just outrageous for you to attack me.
75:59Unnecessarily, when I have J.K. Dobbins, who I took several rounds earlier, let's not talk about our teams for a moment.
76:05Let's help Axel DeGee, who says, judge my draft, please.
76:09One QB, PPR, 12 team drafting out of the 11th spot.
76:12Jefferson, Janty, Kyron Williams, Olave, Price, Henderson, Kraft, Brooks and Herbert.
76:15I mean, that looks pretty damn hot to me.
76:18Andrew, where'd you come down on it? I like the structure of it.
76:22I think that you can pick. Oh, I'd rather have this receiver versus that receiver, that running back versus that running back.
76:29But player takes aside, the build here is what I really like getting Herbert as a seems like you got Herbert pretty late.
76:36I don't see a really any glaring holes at running back or receiver from a value perspective.
76:42So in a 12 team league, yeah, this is pretty.
76:45This is really good. I like this team a lot.
76:48You got some upside. I think that the only thing that maybe change is having another tight end just in case Kraft
76:55is a little slow out of the gates. I know that he's talked about that, how they might be managing his reps to start the year.
77:03So addressing tight end two, I think would be something that I would potentially look at.
77:08But besides that, really, really strong team. Really like the roster build.
77:12Yeah, I very much agree with you. I think, you know, could you look at somebody like Isaiah Likely if they're out
77:19there or somebody like Chico Conquo, Brendan Strange to get you through those early fixtures?
77:24Maybe even a Greg Dulcich, but possibly not. Yeah, it's a good team.
77:28Definitely. We will get to your second question in a little bit.
77:31But right now we are into round 14. Closing out the final third of this draft.
77:36My team, Jamache, Saquon Barkley, Dak Prescott, George Pickens, Tyler Shook, Lufa Bird and Sam Laporta, Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Tyson, J.K.
77:43Dobbins, Jake Ferguson, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Algier. Andrew's team, Drake May, Chase Brown, Justin Herbert, Rashi Rice, Zay Flowers, Teter Roe, McMillan,
77:50Harold Fannin, Carnal Tate, Ramondre Stevenson, Dallas Goddard, Juwan Johnson, Makai Lemon and Jonah Coleman.
77:55We both started fairly similarly. You know, we both had running backs in round two, quarterbacks in round three.
78:01But then we've both kind of gone slightly different ways, but ending up in similar sort of situations where we're kind of
78:08at a point where we don't need to go chasing tight end at this point.
78:12We don't need to chase wide receiver anymore. Andrew, how do you kind of feel like you're going to follow through on the next seven rounds?
78:20I do want to try to take at least another quarterback.
78:24So probably one of the Browns guys. I want to continue to pound away at some upside running backs that I still
78:31like, and then probably receiver tight end is kind of things.
78:34How I'll tie the bow, just a couple upside picks.
78:37But I want to make sure that I'm hitting running back with some quantity now, just because I punted off the position
78:44similar to you with the hero RB build. Obviously, my team is going to go as far as Chase Brown will take me.
78:52It will take us hopefully to the promised land.
78:54But I'm just fingers crossed. Vita Vea, would love you to come back.
78:58Just don't come back for week one, please. The Tampa Buccaneers don't need you for week one when you face Chase Brown.
79:05Yes. So after my pick of Tyler Algier, we went Tyron Tracy, Terrence Ferguson going as tight end 22, Matthew Golden, Brenton
79:12Strange, Xavier Worthy, Shadir Sanders, Zach Charbonnet, Jalen Coker, Dalton Schultz, Casey Concepcion as wide receiver 55, Jaden Higgins, Debo Samuel, Tang
79:19Bigspeak, who seems to be climbing up draft board slightly, locked into that RB2 role behind Saquon Barkley in a scheme which
79:26looks like it's going to fit him nicely. Rashid Shaheed goes off the board and I am back on the clock.
79:33And I will be taking a guy, he's heard me before, but look, sooner or later things have to change.
79:39Marshawn Lloyd. Yes. My RB5, so I now have Saquon Barkley, J.K.
79:43Dobbins, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Algier, Marshawn Lloyd after starting with just one running back through the first nine rounds.
79:49Andrew follows suit and takes a running back who I had in my queue and hoped would make it back around the turn.
79:56Dylan Sampson, who had that great run after the catch this weekend, seems locked into a decent pass catching role.
80:02He just, he should be going higher than this, Andrew.
80:05He's good. Tom. Yeah. Dylan Sampson is good at football.
80:08He was good in college. He came out at a very young age and he flashed pass catching that we are obsessed with.
80:16When you're in the same breath as B. John Robinson, Jameer Gibbs and Christian McCaffrey in any statistic, you're doing something well.
80:23And that was Dylan Sampson last year when it came to yards per route run, when it came to target rate per route run.
80:30And we saw in the preseason, right? What is he doing?
80:34Making plays in the passing game. Because especially early on in the season, I don't know how much room there is going
80:40to be to run behind this offensive line. Especially when you look at the Browns first two opponents, they have to face the Jaguars on the road.
80:49They have to face the Buccaneers on the road.
80:52Those are two tough spots where you might just see a lot of dump off passes to running backs out of the backfield.
80:59I'm also kind of building some Browns stacks here.
81:02Obviously, you drafted Harold Fannin, drafted Dylan Sampson, and going to take a Browns quarterback here at some point.
81:08I'm kind of curious. McBridesmaid only has one quarterback on their roster.
81:12So I'm curious to see if they'll take a quarterback here at the 15th round.
81:16Now that we're seeing Deshaun and Kirk Cousins up here.
81:19I don't know if I'm trying to see if they have any Raiders pass catchers, if that's the direction that they might go in.
81:27It doesn't look like they have any. So maybe they go Kirk Cousins as well.
81:32But yeah, I'm firmly on the Browns quarterback search.
81:34Okay. So yeah, it would make a lot of sense.
81:38Deshaun Watson goes off the board at the end of round 14, kind of leaving no options for Andrew as Shadur Sanders
81:45went at the back end of round 13. So it is very much going to be Kirk Cousins.
81:50Other quarterbacks available. Michael Penix, who we already talked about.
81:53Carson Beck, who flashed briefly in the Hall of Fame game.
81:57JJ McCarthy, who honestly I think is the QB3 behind Carson Wentz.
82:01But a little bit lower down the board. Ty Simpson, who everybody raved about.
82:05Just don't go and check his average depth of target.
82:08Or Anthony Richardson, who had certainly a fantasy viable night.
82:11Yes, there was an interception, but it bounced off the receiver's hands.
82:15So I'm not sure that we can hold that solely against him.
82:19Andrew, you picked a quarterback. I've taken Tarjay Spears.
82:22I'll let you talk about Michael Penix. Yeah, just kind of a bet against Tua.
82:26That he doesn't get targeted when Drake London is on the field.
82:30And that was actually exactly what happened in this preseason game.
82:34So I thought that was kind of funny. But I just don't think that Tua is the long-term answer.
82:39You're going to be the starter for the Falcons past a month.
82:43I think once Michael Penix is healthy and ready to go, I think that he's more likely to play.
82:49I think that he can do more. I think Tua is just a more limited quarterback.
82:54Especially without Mike McDaniel kind of scheming things up.
82:57I think that Penix is going to be better for Drake London.
83:01Even if it's maybe a downgrade for someone like Bijan Robinson.
83:04Tua is just a checkdown artist. Like, that's really what I think that he is at his career.
83:10He wants to get the ball out quick. And I just don't think that he's going to be the last.
83:16So I'll take Penix as my third quarterback. Maybe he hits my lineup during some of the bye weeks for Drake May and Justin Herbert.
83:24Yeah, I think Tua plays better within structure than Penix.
83:27And I think to certain coaches that is going to matter.
83:31I think Kevin Stefanski, after having to try and put up with Deshaun Watson, would probably like somebody who plays in his scheme.
83:38He would like to probably get back to the point of being heralded as an offensive genius, which he certainly hasn't been for a little while now.
83:46After your pick, I went with Tajay Spears. The timeshare split between Tony Pollard and Tajay Spears in preseason was alarming for
83:53me as somebody who felt pretty confident in Tony Pollard up to this point.
83:58Like, Pollard had nine snaps to Spears' 13. Spears ran more routes, had an identical amount of carries, and saw the only target per PFF.
84:06And Spears broke a 25-yard run. So 29-year-old Tony Pollard, is he going to be able to keep Tajay Spears at bay?
84:12I don't know. And in best ball, taking him here as my RB6.
84:17I'm very comfortable with it. Axel DeGee in the chat has a great question.
84:21What are your favorite late round wide receivers? Seems like all the rookies that I've been...
84:26Seems like it's all the rookies that I've been drafting.
84:29Well, it's no longer Jacoby Lane if I have to draft him in round 12.
84:34I can tell you that for sure. Andrew, do you have any particular guys that you're more than happy to make sure
84:41you secure in kind of redraft leagues when you get into that round 13 onwards range, or even in the later rounds in this competition?
84:49One of my favorite late round wide receivers just went here in the 16th round to La Isla, La Isla, Trey Harris for the Los Angeles Chargers.
84:57There's maybe 5% chance that he could actually be the real wide receiver one on this team.
85:02I, again, probably not going to happen, but I've seen weirder things and shocker things.
85:07And I just, someone has to convince me that when Trey Harris, Quinton Johnson, and Lad McConker are all in the same
85:14room together, who is the alpha wide receiver? And tell me it's not Trey Harris.
85:19Because at least him coming out of Ole Miss, that's the aura that he gave off, is I'm a dog, I got to eat, give me the ball.
85:27So that is one thing that I kind of keep in the back of my mind of just how this offense projects.
85:34Because Trey Harris is the most prototypical X receiver among those three guys.
85:38Whereas Lad is slot, Quinton Johnson is not an X.
85:42He's been cast as an X at times, and that's when his career has been bad at the NFL level.
85:48He's a Z. So I think that in that X role, yes, maybe it's a sacrificial X role, and Trey Harris does absolutely nothing.
85:55Or maybe it's a more featured X role in a Kyle Shanahan style offense, where we actually seen a lot of productivity.
86:02So I think Trey Harris, again, you want to get access to this Chargers offense the cheapest ways that you can.
86:09So I think taking a shot on Trey Harris, see how this Chargers offense plays out.
86:14He's definitely one of my favorite guys, and I'm bummed out that I didn't get a chance to stack him with Justin Herbert.
86:21Yeah, absolutely. For me, very much into in best ball, Travis Hunter, A.D.
86:25Mitchell. Sounds like he's got the wide receiver two job easily in hand over Omar Cooper for now.
86:31Now, Dontavian Wicks has been on the rise lately.
86:34Like, if Mekhi Lemon is not practicing, Dontavian Wicks is somebody that the Eagles have raved about.
86:39A lot of beat reporters there said a lot of positive things.
86:43Ryan Flournoy, somebody I've taken a good bit of in drafts.
86:46I think I'm at 21% exposure on him. And then guys like Zachariah Branch, definitely interesting.
86:51But if you don't want a rookie, I'm still a Rashad Bateman slappy, and I'll go down on that ship.
86:58Like, I just... Jacoby Lane going six rounds ahead of Rashad Bateman seems a little crazy for me.
87:03All the reports from training camp have been that, yes, Rashad Bateman has missed a bit of time with what sounds like
87:10a personal issue or something off the field. But when he's been out there, he's played pretty well.
87:16And I think that it's going to be hard for Jacoby Lane to immediately out-snap Rashad Bateman.
87:21And with Lamar Jackson, so much of it comes back to trust and who he really trusts at the moment when things are going.
87:29And Jacoby Lane making plays is going to earn that trust.
87:32But for now, Rashad Bateman definitely has it in hand.
87:35Then you took another guy who I love, Pat Bryant.
87:38How high are you on Pat Bryant, Andrew? He was the highest guy I had left in my rankings, which I have
87:45queued up here as part of the draft assistant.
87:48So I didn't really think about twice about taking him.
87:51I think that he has a staple role in this Broncos offense entering year two.
87:56I thought it was kind of interesting reading some of the reports about Cortland Sutton and how good Sutton looked in the preseason game.
88:04Part of that was because they gave him a bunch of days off during training camp where, hey, we're going to reduce Sutton's snaps during the season.
88:12That's going to hurt some of his production potential, but it means that he's going to be more effective when he's actually playing it on the field.
88:20And I think that means more opportunities for guys like Pat Bryant.
88:24We saw Troy Franklin eat into Cortland Sutton's role last year as a second-year player.
88:29Pat Bryant, I think, showed a little bit more, especially during the second half of the season, than Troy Franklin did as a rookie.
88:37So I think the team is really high on Pat Bryant.
88:40He has touchdown upside. I think that this Broncos offense, again, with a much tougher schedule to open the year, I think
88:47they're going to be in more shootout game environments than you typically see from a team that has an elite defense.
88:53And I think Pat Bryant right now, again, Trey Harris is probably my favorite late-round receiver.
88:58Pat Bryant is right behind him as my next guy.
89:02So after Pat Bryant tanked Dale, Zachariah Branch, Gunnar Helm goes off as Titan 31.
89:06Brian Robinson, the handcuff too. Bijan Robinson goes off board.
89:09And then Taekwon Thornton and Trey Tucker. Mr. Freeze 120Q, appreciate you being our latest follower over here on Twitch.

89:32Started his draft with Drake May, Chase Brown, Justin Herbert, Rashi Rai, I say Flowers, Terrell McMillan, Harold Fanning, Carnal Tate, Ramondre
89:39Stevenson, Dallas Goddard, Juwan Johnson, Mekhi Lemon, Jonah Coleman, Dylan Sampson, Michael Penix, Pat Bryant, and another running back.
89:45Who did you opt for, Andrew? Ray Davis for the Buffalo Bills.
89:48And this pains me because I definitely am one of the highest people on James Cook.
89:53And I hope that he has a very healthy 2026 or else I'll be very, very sad.
89:59But in the instance that James Cook has to miss time, the Bills were one of the healthiest offenses in the NFL last year.
90:06So if James Cook can't stay healthy, I do presume that Ray Davis will take on a larger role in his offense,
90:13even if they are still sprinkling Ty Johnson. And I know Ty Johnson is actually missing time with an injury himself.
90:20So I think there's upside attached to Ray Davis, especially with we get into this area where there are still question marks
90:27about, is this the backup running back? Is this the handcuffed running back?
90:31At least with Ray Davis is, hey, if James Cook goes down, like we're at least ranking Ray Davis as the top
90:3824 running back and he plays on the Bills.
90:41So you feel pretty good about the team trust him to take on a big workload, especially Joe Brady, the head coach.
90:47He's obviously coached Ray Davis for a couple of seasons.
90:51So he is my high end handcuffed running back here to take into late rounds.
90:55Yeah, talking about upside, I went with Darren Waller as my tight end three.
91:00Typically in this competition, four tight end builds tends to show out quite well, unless you've gone with two quite early, which
91:07is not what even myself or Andrew did. So I have Sam Laporte, Jake Ferguson and Darren Waller.
91:12And Darren Waller, definitely one of those guys where the downside's fair, but when he was on the field for the Dolphins
91:19last year, they seemed to love him. He seemed to get plenty of targets, plenty of red zone opportunities.
91:25And for a tiny little quarterback like Bryce Young, having a big bodied guy like Darren Waller to go up in the
91:32red zone and win the ball feels like an okay bet to bet in round 17.
91:37So I have gone Jamar Chase, Saquon Barkley, Dat Prescott, George Pickens, Tyler Shook, Lufa Bird and Sam Laporte, Aaron Rodgers, Jordan
91:44Tyson, JK Dobbins, Jake Ferguson, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Algier, Marshawn Lloyd, Tajay Spears, Travis Hunter and Darren Waller.
91:50Big upside swings here in round 16 and 17.
91:52Andrew, I named my team. Give me an A because afterwards we'll have a quick look at the draft wizard to see
91:59how I did in this draft and how you did.
92:03And we've had some interesting results and we know that obviously draft grades aren't the B all and end all, but it
92:09still feels good when you get an A. Am I going to get an A?
92:14We'll see. Only the draft analyzer tool will be able to tell us exactly your grade.
92:19I do think that for the most part, though, looking at your team on a whim, I do like the team so far.
92:26There is no Chris. Oh, wait, no, there is Chris Rodriguez.
92:30So that's that in itself might might be the reason that you don't get an A.
92:35So what's your prediction for what grade you're going to get on your team?
92:39I'm going to guess Andrew Erickson will like it.
92:42Yes, Andrew Erickson will definitely like this team a lot, especially because I got Zay Flowers.
92:47I got Chase Brown. Those are two guys that I'm very, very high on this season.
92:52So I think that I'm probably going to end giving myself an A.
92:56Got the quarterbacks I wanted. I think running back is obviously where I feel the most squeamish just because you punted off.
93:03You're hoping that some of these late round guys hit.
93:06But again, picking the guys I like the most between Dylan Sampson, Jonah Coleman, Armandre, I think is a good pick.
93:13Good value where he goes. So we'll see if we can round it out here with the next three picks and that'll make the real difference.
93:21Yeah, your quarterback room is definitely going to need a good week from Justin Herbert in week 11 as Drake May and
93:28Mike Penix both are on bye week that week.
93:31But I don't think that's something massively worth worrying about.
93:34On the whole, I think it's a nice looking team.
93:37And knowing that you're always going to take Drake May, it's interesting to always watch how you build out around that.
93:44Definitely a fun one. As we get down into the late parts of the draft, Mike Kosicki goes off the board.
93:50It was interesting that the Bengals were playing a lot of tight end heavy sets, but it was more they're blocking tight ends.
93:57Mike Kosicki didn't get much play in preseason. Do you think he's kind of still worth taking a speculative throw in the
94:0417th round of tight end premium drafts? I don't think so.
94:08I think that I was pretty concerned about how he was deployed in the preseason game.
94:13And I think I talked about this on the tailgate last week where there's a lot of noise in the preseason.
94:19But the thing that is the least noisy and that's the most actionable is the way that tight ends are deployed because
94:26it is one of these positions in fantasy that is so usage dependent.
94:30If you are not running enough routes, you're screwed.
94:33And the fact that if you're out there, you're blocking, you're losing snaps to blocking tight ends and you're not being hyper targeted.
94:40Then you run into, well, why can't Dalton Kincaid take the next step?
94:45Well, this is why, because they're not running enough routes.
94:48He's blocking. They're taking him off the field for another blocking tight end.
94:52So I think that did concern me. And I think you, it was a player that you took in our draft when
94:59I had to bounce last week, Eric all the Cincinnati Bengals is a player that they are really high on.
95:05They really like his potential. And before he got hurt a couple of years ago, he was one of these tight ends
95:12where didn't play a lot, but every time he was out there, he was being hyper targeted by Joe Burrow and whoever
95:19the Bengals quarterback at the time was. So I think Gusecki, I'm probably finally letting someone else take a stab on.
95:25And honestly, I'm kind of jealous that Charlie Kolar didn't fall to me as a potential Justin Herbert stacking partner.
95:32Again, no idea what his role is going to be, but it seemed like the team really, really likes him and they
95:39have three starting tight ends on the chargers. And now you're seeing them all go off on the board simultaneously.
95:45Oh, and I have, I have pulled an Andrew Erickson here and accidentally missed.
95:49Oh no. The player I want is still on the board and I had a perfect round 20th tight end dart throw.
95:56I was hoping to be taking the Ravens new stud tight end, Matthew Hibner, but instead I missed click on David and
96:03Joku here in round 18 as my fourth tight end.
96:06And I was hoping for a wide receiver or running back here.
96:10Instead, now I won't be taking the late round dart throw I wanted on Hibner.
96:15I'll just be taking David and Joku as my tight end four, which is probably fine.
96:20I mean, my tight end room is slightly dusty with Darren Waller and David and Joku lurking back there.
96:26But hey, that's fine. Now I can just concentrate on wide receiver and running back.
96:30I need probably to go one more running back.
96:33I reckon it may be two wide receivers on this build.
96:37Andrew, you went with another wide receiver, Omar Cooper, who sounds like he's struggling a little bit in camp.
96:43Is this just a late season bet? Yes. Yeah.
96:45I think that rookies struggling in training camp, that's just them going through their general growing pains.
96:51I don't think he's going to be behind Isaiah Williams.
96:54Is that the guy that's playing over him? So we've done this song and dance before.
96:59I remember it wasn't so long ago that Ola B.C.
97:02Johnson was playing over this guy named Justin Jefferson.
97:05And, you know, greater heads prevailed. Exactly. So I'm willing to take the dip here.
97:10Again, I have a lot of rookies on this team here.
97:13I'm kind of scooping up some value with some of these rookies who are following that aren't quote unquote checking all the boxes during the preseason.
97:21Yeah, some of these are going to be big misses.
97:24But what do we know about rookies? They're also major hits.
97:28So even if they just totally dud out, I'm taking enough swings on guys like Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon, Omar Cooper, where
97:35all I need is one of those guys to hit in a big way.
97:39And that makes up for the three picks and where I ended up getting them.
97:44Yeah. So after Omar Cooper, Ryan Flournoy, Malachi Fields and Malik Washington go.
97:48Axel Dejee, we're going to get to your next question.
97:51After myself and Andrew have made picks in this round.
97:54I'm looking towards wide receiver and running back. Andrew, I'm not sure about you.
97:59I was hoping Jimmy Bernard would make it back to me.
98:02He was the guy I meant to click in the last round.
98:06Deep, deep sigh. The guys at the top of ADP with Andrew Erickson on the clock in round 19.
98:12Calvin Ridley, Rashad Bateman, Cateron Allen, Isaac Teslar, who has not had a good training camp by all reports.
98:18Caelan Black, Demon Claiborne, Keenan Allen, who still has not signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
98:22When will it happen? Samar J.P. Ryan, Eli Stowers, Mason Taylor, Jordan James, Antonio Williams, Cooper Cup, James Connor, Ted Hurst.
98:29Lots to like down here. Andrew, which way are you going with your pick?
98:33I think I'm looking at some running backs here.
98:36I think I'm going to probably go with Caelan Black and just, I mean, I want to bet against McCaffrey just based
98:43on the workload he had last year. I'm not even sure if Caelan Black is the right bet to make, even if
98:50I am right about, you know, CMC not necessarily staying healthy the entire season just because the 49ers, backfield is just a total mess.
98:58But I got to take a shot somewhere here.
99:00So Caelan Black is the pick here. And I will take Ted Hurst, who I really like.
99:06I think particularly if a Mecca reg Buka has struggles with turf toe, then it really solidifies Ted Hurst for an early season role.
99:13Axel DeGee saying, judge my next draft, please. He's one QB, PPR, 12 team, drafting out of a third spot.
99:20Jamar Chase, AJ Brown, Kyron Williams, Quinshon Judkins, Jalen Waddell, Mike Evans, Tucker Kraft, Iceman, Brooks, Monongai, Quentin Johnston.
99:26Andrew, help me out. Who's the Iceman? Caleb Williams.
99:28Is that right? Yeah. Caleb Williams is the Iceman.
99:31Yeah. I believe so. I like this team. Yes, I think it's a good team.
99:36I like the fact that you went double wide receiver out the gate.
99:40I think I'm not overly high on Quinshon Judkins.
99:43But when you bypass running backs in the first couple of rounds, particularly in home leagues and redrafts, you do have to
99:50make sure you don't get left too far behind sometimes.
99:53So I understand the Judkins pick. Waddell after that in round five just feels like a massive smash.
99:59Like, I think this is all good. As long as you've got good running back depth, because Monongai's already banged up.
100:05And, you know, Jonathan Brooks, Judkins, they're not guys I'm massively high on.
100:09But that comes down to my preference on those players.
100:12But if you've got a bit more running back depth back there that you haven't mentioned, I feel good about that.
100:19Andrew, you? I like the roster as well. The wide receiver, wide receiver start, Chase and AJ Brown.
100:25I think if you are going to do receiver, receiver starts, I think that makes the most sense.
100:30That's something I did similarly in my flex draft.
100:33I started with CeeDee Lamb and AJ Brown as my top two picks, although I didn't necessarily mean to do that.
100:40I took a receiver first thinking that a running back would fall back to me of the four that I was picking from.
100:47And of course, four straight running backs go to my next pick.
100:51So I'm like, oh, crap, made a mistake there.
100:53So I guess I'm going zero RB, whatever. We'll make it happen.
100:57But I agree with you. Not the highest on Judkins.
101:00Kyron, we've kind of talked about. I think that there's a floor with him.
101:05But is it the ceiling still there? If Coram does take on a larger role, that's my only concern.
101:11I would just say to continue to monitor the waiver wire for running backs.
101:15I think that you might be addressing that sooner rather than later, or also consider making a trade with some of these
101:22receivers, especially so how deep you are at the receiver position, right?
101:26He only has three running backs on his team, right?
101:29Judkins, Kyron, and oh, he's got four with Brooks and Mnonga.
101:32So at least you got Brooks too. So I know you hate that pick, Tom, but I like the Brooks pick.
101:39Well, look, I mean, the Brooks pick, I hated it more when Chuba Hubbard was healthy.
101:44I think now, and I said this kind of at the time, that you reach a point where I'm never going to
101:51be one of these fantasy analysts who is so dug in that they don't change their mind as the offseason goes on.
101:58Like for me, I've been drafting best ball teams since February.
102:01Like I've changed my mind about a lot of players.
102:04I moved them on Ross St. Brown to my wide receiver three recently ahead of Jackson Smith and Jigba.
102:10It doesn't mean I hate Jackson Smith and Jigba, but like, it's just, you have a lot of time to study the
102:17data that's out there, a lot of time to interpret situations.
102:21And Jonathan Brooks, when Chuba Hubbard was healthy, felt very expensive to me.
102:25Now he still feels expensive, but I'm willing to mix him in.
102:29So yeah, it's, I don't, Axel DeGee saying Brooks feels like the cheat code going wide receiver heavy builds.
102:35For me, it's this whole range from basically where in our draft, Bucky Irving went at RB 26 in round eight.
102:41Jalen Warren, Jonathan Brooks, Mondray Stevenson, Rico Dowdle, RJ Harvey, Kenny Gainwell, Tony Pollard, Jordan Mason, Rashad White, Blake Corham, JK Dobbins, JCM.
102:48Like give me, if I can double tap those running backs, I'm very happy.
102:53Over on my website, thefantasysanctuary.com, I wrote 7,000 words on 0RB and why more people should be willing to do it this year.
103:00I detailed 25 running backs who I thought were perfect running backs for 0RB and why you should be drafting them in those wide receiver heavy starts.
103:09So like, yeah, I'm very much comfortable living in that range.
103:12It's just the expectations for a guy who has 45 total yards in the NFL.
103:17We don't know if he can pass block and it's going to be a terrible offensive line.
103:22I think sometimes someone's got to be the party pooper and someone's got to rain on the parade.
103:28And that's the role I've fallen into this year with Jonathan Brooks.
103:31But we are closing out this draft. We're into round 20.
103:35We have seen Tyra Taylor, James Winston, Taylor Green and Gardner Minshew all go off the board since our last picks.
103:41My team is Jamar Chase, Saquon Barkley, Dak Prescott, George Pickens, Tyler Shook, Lufa Byrne, Sam Laporta, Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Tyson, JK
103:48Dobbins, Jake Ferguson, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Algier, Marshawn Lloyd, Tajay Spears, Travis Hunter, Darren Waller, David Njoku, Ted Hurst in this tight
103:55end premium super flex format of best ball. I'm a couple of picks away.
104:00I know exactly who I'm going to take here.
104:03Andrew, you have Drake May, Chase Brown, Justin Herbert, Rashi Rice, Zay Flowers, Taroa McMillan, Harold Fanning, Carnell Tate, Ramondre Stevenson, Dallas
104:09Goddard, Juwan Johnson, Makai Lemon, Jonah Coleman, Dylan Sampson, Michael Penix, Pat Bryant, Ray Davis, Omar Cooper and Caelan Black.
104:16Earlier in this draft, you said that you were going to take Jonah Coleman purely so that you could bet against JK Dobbins and bet against me.
104:24So in round 20, I call for revenge and I will take Samarjay P.
104:29Ryan to bet against your Chase Brown selection early on.
104:32And I'm sorry, but Chase Brown, you have been cursed.
104:35Chase Brown has been cursed. It's funny that you it's funny that you drafted P.
104:40Ryan because he was actually someone I was queuing up because I was considering, you know, I'll just whatever I'll just do
104:46the safe, whatever, just grab my own handcuff running back.
104:50But you maybe you prevented me from making a scared tactic, a scared move here.
104:54So I think I'm probably going to go. Man, there's a couple of guys I like James Conner.
105:00I'm always because he's always the guy that the ECR is always suggesting here because it's like, well, what if he gets traded?
105:07What if he goes to a different team? He's also injured still.
105:11So I don't even really know what the deal with him is.
105:15I can do a Patriots stack. Jahan Dotson is going to be the cardio king this year.
105:20But ultimately, I need running backs. So I will actually go here with with James Conner, who I was checking.
105:26It's cool on the fantasy pros expert consensus or on the expert tool.
105:30You can actually see where you had guys ranked previously throughout the months.
105:35So I can go back and look and see how high did I have Malik neighbors when I first did my rankings back in January.
105:42It's kind of interesting to see how things kind of shake as we get new information.
105:47And James Conner was another player that was ranked much higher than around 20.
105:52Obviously, a lot of stuff has changed with Arizona and his outlook, but I still think there's a chance that he goes to a different team.
106:00And if it's the Lions, if this Isaiah Pacheco injury is serious, then he's going to probably pay off a 20th round ADP.
106:07So we'll see how things shake out. But we have the draft analysis tier tool B plus for me.
106:13Oh, my God. I get myself a C 76.
106:16Oh, my God. Giving you a D plus D plus from Derek Brown.
106:20What is going on here, folks? Okay, let's check this out.
106:24Let's check the full analysis here before we hop off.
106:27So, yes, if you haven't checked this out, head over to fantasypros.com and check out the draft wizard.
106:32Instantly run through mock drafts as well as be nice and get to your actual drafts.
106:37Andrew up there in second place with the second most projected points for this one.
106:42I can only assume that mine just looked too good and they didn't want to upset you.
106:47So they put me down there in eighth place instead.
106:51Yeah, you got eighth place, but it's by a very small margin because I think that you're separated by the fifth place team by seven points.
106:59So let's really quickly see expert opinions. So it looks like I actually did give myself a higher grade.
107:05So 99 out of 100 from Andrew Erickson. So I love to see that.
107:09And even the thumbs down, you look at some 70s, 80s, 82.
107:13My lowest grades from Lawrence here, 61 D minus.
107:16And obviously we saw a D row give me a 64, a D plus.
107:20So don't love that. I do want to quickly look at pick analysis here and to kind of see how things would have changed.
107:28It really wanted me to go with another quarterback.
107:30Interesting. At the second turn around two, instead draft Tajay Spears, instead of waiting for Michael Penix to draft a quarterback, I
107:37would have gotten a hundred more points doing that type of change.
107:41I think that's one that's easy to look at in projected points and projections.
107:45And quite often we see this across all platforms.
107:48Like the more quarterbacks you draft, the better you're projected on points.
107:52But I think sometimes the points formulas don't take into assumption that those tend to be the opportunity cost.
107:58And so I'm, I'm quite comfortable making that bet based on a long history in this tournament and other tournaments where going
108:05QB QB in best ball doesn't tend to be the best option.
108:09All right. This is your team, Tom. So seventh, give me an A.
108:13You do have top receivers though. Third ranked receivers and you're winning the flex more often than not.
108:18Fourth place is like one of the expert opinions.
108:21Let's see. Oh no, I gave you a 70 out of a hundred.
108:25This guy, my word. Although I don't really dislike Tyler Shuck.
108:29So I wonder why it's coming up there. JK Dobbins.
108:32Yes. Again, I talked about it on the show, betting against JK Dobbins.
108:36Hence the thumbs down. And Saquon is just the end of a tier for me.
108:41So you took him at the top of the tier.
108:44I don't hate the pick. My rankings hate the pick though, because of the way that the linear area is structured.
108:50But Joe Wiggins, Justin Huria, A's, Jorge, A, C-H-A, Chris Dell, 89, solid.
108:55And then we'll do your pick analysis before we tie a bow on this.
108:59So similar to me going Jalen Hurts in round two.
109:02Again, the draft analyzer loves Jalen Hurts. Clearly Derek Brown is pulling the strings behind.
109:07He's pulling the levers on the draft Jalen Hurts in round two for super flex formats.
109:12Well, yeah. Hey, I feel pretty good about it.
109:15And after all, the great thing about this is come week 17, we will know for sure which team is better.
109:21And hopefully both myself and Andrew have plenty of teams in that one.
