A.J. Brown

NegativeValue45:45

JJ Zachariason discusses A.J. Brown as a potential round-two option in a 10-team league, noting he would consider taking Brock Bowers over Brown at pick 11 if the drafter already secured a running back in round one, due to the positional advantage of tight end in full PPR scoring.

Insight page
PositiveDepth Chart48:06

In a 12-team dynasty league soft reset, A.J. Brown is identified as one of the four core keepers the team owner is retaining, indicating he is valued as a keeper-tier wide receiver in dynasty.

Insight page
PositiveValue49:18

AJ Brown targeted in mock drafts for a 14-team full PPR league after taking three straight wide receivers early, indicating viability as a secondary wide receiver option when top RBs are avoided.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveValue50:00

Amon-Ra St. Brown characterized as a high floor, high ceiling player considered for first wide receiver pick in 14-team full PPR league, though JJ Zachariason opts for Puka instead despite acknowledging the pick is not crazy.

Insight page
NegativeValue50:06

Amonra St. Brown characterized as a high floor, high ceiling player considered for first wide receiver pick in 14-team full PPR league, though JJ Zachariason opts for Puka instead despite acknowledging the pick is not crazy.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveSleeper62:21

Braylon Allen is ranked number two on the co-host's late-round running back sleeper list; the co-host believes Allen is "kind of a beast" and might have some touch equity, disagreeing with consensus that Corey Dillon Hall is the top option.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection14:04

Andrew Erickson expressed confidence in Brock Bowers' ceiling despite injury concerns, noting that tight end has such a low floor that chasing boom upside with elite players like Bowers is worthwhile; Bowers smashed in his first game back from injury, though first-game-back performance from injured players is typically unpredictable.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:05

JJ Zachariason compares Brock Bowers to Drake London as an alpha target earner, but with tight end eligibility; he's comfortable taking Bowers early in round 2 of 10-team leagues (around pick 12-16), valuing the positional advantage in full PPR scoring.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:29

JJ Zachariason compares Bowers favorably to Drake London, suggesting Bowers should go one spot ahead due to the tight end position advantage in full PPR scoring. Zachariason states he has no issue taking Bowers in round two of a 10-team league and would take him at pick 11 over A.J. Brown if he already has a running back from round one, citing the elite positional advantage tight end provides.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

NegativeValue22:58

Brock Purdy is mentioned as going after Dak Prescott in draft ADP, positioning him as an alternative quarterback option in the same value tier.

Insight page
NegativeProjection42:25

Brock Purdy is mentioned alongside Kyler Murray as a quarterback going in late rounds, part of the late-round quarterback strategy discussion.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeValue39:18

JJ Zachariason cautions against reaching for Caleb Williams in round 8 in 10-team PPR leagues, noting that while he is a tier above Kyler Murray, his ADP is volatile and could spike to round 6 given the Chicago Bears' offseason hype. In shallow leagues, the marginal value gain does not justify the early capital when late-round quarterbacks like Kyler are available and waiver-wire depth is plentiful.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveValue24:00

JJ Zachariason still likes Christian McCaffrey and expects to spend high on running backs in auction formats, positioning McCaffrey as a premium target despite the need to allocate auction dollars strategically.

Insight page
NegativeValue49:12

Christian McCaffrey avoided in 14-team full PPR mock drafts at the four spot, with the drafter preferring wide receiver options over CMC despite his typical elite status.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeValue25:00

Colston Loveland is used as a pricing comparison point in auction strategy, with the example showing him potentially going for $27 while Kyle Pitts goes for $22, illustrating how market prices shift and create value opportunities in the first two rounds of auction drafts.

Insight page
PositiveValue44:42

Colston Loveland is mentioned as a tight end to be ready to take early in 10-team leagues, part of the strategy to push tight end investment higher in draft order.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue27:27

JJ Zachariason identifies Andre Swift as a middle-round player available at a reasonable auction price with a locked-in RB2 floor; if the Bears offense performs as expected, Swift could break out as an RB1, making him a value target in auction leagues.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveValue18:18

Dak Prescott was identified as the number one quarterback league winner across aggregate analysis of industry consensus, suggesting he is undervalued relative to his upside; however, he also appeared on some league loser lists, indicating polarized opinion on his ranking.

Insight page
PositiveValue21:21

JJ Zachariason argues Dak Prescott represents good value relative to his ADP compared to Joe Burrow, who goes multiple rounds earlier despite similar production potential. The quarterback position is deep in 2026, making Prescott a sensible alternative to higher-drafted signal-callers. Zachariason notes Prescott's lack of rushing upside limits his ceiling relative to mobile quarterbacks, and the improved Dallas Cowboys defense (versus last year's shootout-prone unit) may reduce his volume, but these factors are already priced into his draft position, making him a value pick.

Insight page
PositiveValue22:28

JJ Zachariason says Dak is a good value where he goes in 2026 drafts, though he notes there are many good quarterback values available this year, so Dak is not a must-draft but a solid option if available at your pick.

Insight page
NegativeProjection42:29

Dak Prescott is referenced as part of the quarterback discussion, with the hosts noting they will discuss him further in the sleeper segment.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveValue24:00

JJ Zachariason highlights Devon Achane as a PPR-format running back he likes to spend on early in auction drafts, suggesting strong value in PPR scoring systems.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveSleeper64:14

Debo Samuel is ranked number three on JJ Zachariason's late-round wide receiver sleeper list; Zachariason notes that despite being used in specific ways, Debo finished as a top-24 receiver in half-PPR last year and has significant touchdown equity, making him a viable sleeper even with Mike Evans banged up.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeValue45:05

Drake London is used as a draft position comparison point for Brock Bowers; JJ Zachariason suggests Bowers should go one pick ahead of London due to the positional advantage of tight end eligibility.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveSleeper11:21

Chris Welsh had Drake Maye as a sleeper quarterback pick that contributed significantly to his top-seven overall sleeper ranking accuracy; Welsh notes that his sleeper picks in quarterback and tight end positions pushed him higher in sleeper rankings than in draft rankings, where he was historically weak at QB.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeSleeper61:42

Dylan Sampson is ranked number one on the co-host's late-round running back sleeper list, though the co-host expresses uncertainty about whether he truly loves Sampson as the top option, suggesting some hesitation about the ranking.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveValue27:54

JJ Zachariason targets Garrett Wilson as a middle-round receiver who doesn't generate significant buzz despite being a proven producer; Wilson is unlikely to attract bidding wars in auction, making him a value pick for serviceable production at a good price.

Insight page
NegativeValue29:05

JJ Zachariason notes that Garrett Wilson does not feel like he will be a good auction value, implying his price will not justify his production relative to other options in auction formats.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

PositiveSleeper66:46

Greg Dulcich is ranked number two on both analysts' late-round tight end sleeper lists; both JJ Zachariason and the co-host independently ranked Dulcich at number two, making him a consensus second-tier tight end sleeper.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeProjection50:26

JK Dobbins appeared as a worst-case running back option in 14-team full PPR mock drafts after three-wide-receiver early strategy, indicating limited upside in this league format when RB scarcity is high.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveValue26:17

JJ Zachariason is willing to overspend on elite players in auction drafts and cites Jamar Chase as an example of a player he overpaid for and can live with, indicating confidence in Chase's elite tier status despite paying above projected cost.

Insight page

Jalin Hyatt

NegativeValue49:15

Jalin Hyatt mentioned as a potential first wide receiver option in 14-team full PPR mock drafts alongside Puka Nacua and Amonrao, though not explicitly endorsed over alternatives.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveValue7:00

Jared Goff was secured in round 14 of a 16-team Tailgate fantasy draft, demonstrating the value of punting quarterback in deep leagues; acquiring elite QB late allows the rest of the roster to be significantly stronger.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeDepth Chart47:59

In a dynasty league soft reset scenario where a team owner was considering cutting Jaden Daniels to stack with Caleb Williams, JJ Zachariason strongly advises against it, stating 'I would not cut Jaden Daniels. Even if I have Caleb,' indicating Daniels' dynasty value is too high to cut even when paired with another elite QB option.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveValue19:08

Jalen Waddle was identified as near the top of wide receivers in league-winner consensus, suggesting he is undervalued relative to his upside.

Insight page
PositiveRole24:00

JJ Zachariason identifies Jalen Waddle as a must-have player he wants on his auction teams, indicating he's willing to spend early to secure him as a core piece of his roster construction strategy.

Insight page
NegativeValue26:30

JJ Zachariason dislikes being forced into overpaying for Jalen Waddle in auction drafts because the player is widely known and hyped, creating bidding wars that drive up his cost above his projected value; Zachariason prefers to overpay for true elite players instead of mid-tier buzzy names.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeRole48:37

Jaylen Warren cut from a 14-team full PPR roster after being drafted, with the drafter stating he needs to prove himself before being kept, indicating lack of confidence in his fantasy value and role.

Insight page
NegativeBust48:37

Jaylen Warren cut from a 14-team full PPR roster after being drafted, with the drafter stating he needs to prove himself before being kept, indicating lack of confidence in his fantasy value.

Insight page
NegativeProjection50:26

Jalen Warren appeared as a worst-case running back option in 14-team full PPR mock drafts after three-wide-receiver early strategy, indicating limited upside in this league format when RB scarcity is high.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveSleeper61:38

Jonah Coleman is the consensus number one late-round running back sleeper between both analysts; both JJ Zachariason and the co-host independently ranked him at number one, making him the only running back sleeper they agreed on and the designated face of the show's sleeper team.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeValue49:12

Jonathan Taylor avoided in 14-team full PPR mock drafts at the four spot, with the drafter preferring wide receiver options over JT despite his typical elite status.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeRole6:26

Jonathan Brooks was passed over in the Tailgate fantasy draft in favor of Roman Doonsay; the team prioritized wide receiver depth, but a running back run occurred, suggesting Brooks may have been a better value pick that was missed.

Insight page
NegativeProjection6:37

Jonathan Brooks appeared consistently across 14-team full PPR mock drafts after three-wide-receiver early strategy, serving as both worst-case RB2 and best-case RB2 option, indicating he's a reliable mid-round running back target in this league format.

Insight page
PositiveValue26:48

JJ Zachariason warns that Jonathan Brooks will go for significantly more than his projected auction cost because he's a widely-known sleeper pick; Zachariason dislikes being forced into overpaying for such buzzy mid-tier players and prefers to overpay for true elite players instead.

Insight page
NegativeValue29:14

JJ Zachariason warns that Jonathan Brooks will command astronomical auction prices, cautioning that targeting him as a value play is unrealistic given how aggressively he will be bid up in auction formats.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeDepth Chart47:56

In a 12-team dynasty league soft reset where a team owner must cut three players and keep seven, the owner states they are 'cutting Josh Downs,' indicating Downs is the first player to be cut from their keeper list.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeValue18:18

Justin Herbert was mentioned as a comparable quarterback option when discussing Dak Prescott's league-winner status, suggesting Herbert is also in the conversation for undervalued quarterback picks.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveValue26:42

JJ Zachariason prefers to overpay for elite players like Justin Jefferson in auction drafts rather than mid-tier buzzy players, indicating Jefferson is in the elite tier worth the auction premium.

Insight page
NegativeValue46:13

JJ Zachariason notes that if a drafter takes Justin Jefferson at pick nine (round one), the decision to take Brock Bowers in round two becomes more complicated, as the drafter would have already committed to wide receiver in round one and would need to prioritize elite running backs in round two.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveSleeper66:46

Juwan Johnson is ranked number one on both analysts' late-round tight end sleeper lists; both JJ Zachariason and the co-host independently ranked Johnson at number one, making him the consensus top tight end sleeper and part of the show's all-sleeper team.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveSleeper11:21

Chris Welsh had Kyle Pitts as a sleeper tight end pick that contributed significantly to his top-seven overall sleeper ranking accuracy; Welsh notes that his sleeper picks in tight end positions pushed him higher in sleeper rankings than in draft rankings, where he was historically weak at TE.

Insight page
PositiveValue25:00

Kyle Pitts is cited as an example of a player who can offer auction value when he goes for $4-5 less than Colston Loveland (e.g., $22 vs. $27), demonstrating that aggressive early bidding can uncover deals as market prices shift after the first two rounds.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue39:18

JJ Zachariason endorses a late-round quarterback strategy in 10-team PPR leagues, specifically targeting Kyler Murray in the 14th round or later rather than reaching for Caleb Williams in round 8. The rationale: in shallow 10-team formats, quarterback depth on waivers is abundant, allowing flexibility to stream or pivot if the pick underperforms; Kyler's ADP is reliably late, whereas Caleb's could spike to round 6 given Chicago's hype, making the opportunity cost of waiting on Kyler minimal while preserving early picks for running backs, receivers, and tight ends.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper42:25

JJ Zachariason identifies Kyler Murray as his number one quarterback sleeper, going in late rounds; both hosts confirm he's on their sleeper lists, positioning him as a late-round league winner at the position.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper65:38

Kyler Murray is designated as the consensus sleeper quarterback for the show's all-sleeper team, representing the quarterback component of the team built from both analysts' independent sleeper rankings.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeValue46:38

JJ Zachariason mentions Kyren Williams as a running back who 'seems to always' be available later in drafts, though he notes this doesn't necessarily qualify him as elite, suggesting he is a mid-tier option rather than a premium early-round target.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveProjection59:04

Fantasy Pros projections rank Malik Willis number two in rushing yards at quarterback with over 600 projected yards; JJ Zachariason cites research showing 28 quarterbacks with 500+ rushing yards over the last 10 years, with only three failing to finish as top-10 fantasy quarterbacks and an average finish of QB5, supporting Willis's upside as a sleeper.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

PositiveSleeper61:23

Marshawn Lloyd is ranked number three on JJ Zachariason's late-round running back sleeper list; Zachariason likes Lloyd in the context of Josh Jacobs' situation and Lloyd getting run, suggesting he could move higher in final rankings.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeDepth Chart49:03

In a 12-team dynasty league soft reset where the team owner must cut three players, JJ Zachariason advises cutting Marvin Harrison Jr., stating 'I'm cutting Harrison,' indicating Harrison is not valued as a keeper-tier player compared to other options like Travon Dunze and Rasheed Rice.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveSleeper60:34

Mike Washington is ranked number four on the co-host's late-round running back sleeper list; the co-host believes he might get some early production and that the pick "speaks for itself," suggesting strong upside in the late rounds.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue29:14

JJ Zachariason cautions that Parker Washington will be bid up to astronomical prices in auctions, making it unlikely that drafters will actually secure him at a discount despite his appeal as a value target.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveValue7:00

Patrick Mahomes was secured in round 13 of a 16-team Tailgate fantasy draft, demonstrating the value of punting quarterback in deep leagues; acquiring elite QB late allows the rest of the roster to be significantly stronger.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveValue26:42

JJ Zachariason prefers to overpay for elite players like Puka Nakua rather than mid-tier buzzy players, suggesting Nakua is in the elite tier worth the auction premium despite widespread knowledge of his value.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:23

JJ Zachariason prefers Puka Nacua over JSN and Amonrao as the first wide receiver pick in a 14-team full PPR league with four spots ahead, citing the need for safety in early picks despite Amonrao's high floor/ceiling profile.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

PositiveDepth Chart48:06

In a 12-team dynasty league soft reset, Rasheed Rice is discussed as one of the final keeper options the team owner is considering. JJ Zachariason advises keeping Rice over Marvin Harrison Jr., indicating Rice is valued as a keeper-tier player in the dynasty format.

Insight page

Rashid Shaheed

PositiveSleeper65:29

Rashid Shaheed is ranked number two on the co-host's late-round wide receiver sleeper list; the co-host went with Shaheed as the top available option in the wide receiver sleeper pool, suggesting strong conviction in his late-round value.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue46:16

JJ Zachariason references the scarcity of elite running backs after the first two rounds in 10-team leagues, emphasizing that drafters should avoid punting the position early. He notes that in 10-team leagues, elite backs like Saquon Barkley (referred to as 'Jinty') have fallen to pick 15, raising the question of whether he could fall to round three.

Insight page
PositiveDepth Chart48:06

In a 12-team dynasty league soft reset, Saquon Barkley (referred to as 'Jenty') is identified as one of the four core keepers the team owner is retaining, indicating he is valued as a keeper-tier running back in dynasty.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveSleeper65:43

Stefon Diggs is ranked number one on JJ Zachariason's late-round wide receiver sleeper list; Zachariason compares Diggs to Keenan Allen from last year, calling it "the best pick you could have made" and suggesting a "rinse and repeat" scenario, indicating strong conviction in Diggs as a late-round value play.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveSleeper60:06

Tank Bigsby is ranked number four on JJ Zachariason's late-round running back sleeper list; he performed well last year when most of the Eagles offense struggled, plays behind an older running back, and the team has been talking positively about him potentially having some type of role, making him a candidate for early production without necessarily requiring an injury.

Insight page

Tank Dell

PositiveSleeper63:22

Tank Dell is ranked number four on the co-host's late-round wide receiver sleeper list; the co-host has been a Tank Dell guy for months and believes he's still a beast, expecting that after a couple of weeks of adjustment (possibly related to C.J. Stroud's injury), Tank will start producing in the back half of the season.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveValue27:54

JJ Zachariason targets Tee Higgins as a middle-round receiver who doesn't generate significant buzz despite being a proven producer; Higgins is unlikely to attract bidding wars in auction, making her a value pick for serviceable production at a good price.

Insight page
PositiveProjection50:57

Tee Higgins emerged as the best-case RB1 in 14-team full PPR mock drafts after three-wide-receiver early strategy, indicating strong availability and value when prioritizing wide receivers early.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveProjection50:57

Tony Pollard emerged as a best-case running back option in 14-team full PPR mock drafts after three-wide-receiver early strategy, indicating strong availability and value when prioritizing wide receivers early.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveSleeper62:53

Trey Harris is ranked number four on JJ Zachariason's late-round wide receiver sleeper list; Zachariason states "I'm obsessed" with Harris, indicating strong conviction despite trying to be realistic about his ranking.

Insight page

NegativeValue18:18

Trevor Lawrence was mentioned as a comparable quarterback option when discussing Dak Prescott's league-winner status, suggesting Lawrence is also in the conversation for undervalued quarterback picks.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveDepth Chart48:06

In a 12-team dynasty league soft reset, Trey McBride is identified as one of the four core keepers the team owner is retaining (along with Jaden Daniels, A.J. Brown, and Saquon Barkley), indicating he is valued as a keeper-tier tight end in dynasty.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveSleeper11:21

Chris Welsh had Tyler Warren as a sleeper tight end pick that contributed significantly to his top-seven overall sleeper ranking accuracy; Welsh notes that his sleeper picks in tight end positions pushed him higher in sleeper rankings than in draft rankings, where he was historically weak at TE.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveValue44:24

JJ Zachariason highlights Zay Flowers as a third wide receiver he can't help himself from targeting in 10-team leagues, positioning him as a value pick that enables flexibility in draft strategy by allowing earlier tight end investment.

Insight page
PositiveValue49:18

Zay Flowers targeted in mock drafts for a 14-team full PPR league after taking three straight wide receivers early, indicating viability as a secondary wide receiver option when top RBs are avoided.

0:10It's The Extra Point right here on FantasyPros. I am Chris Welsh.
0:13That is Andrew Erickson. And today we are going to be talking with our incredible studio audience, you guys, the producers of
0:20this show, the People's Podcast, because you guys produce it.
0:23We actually have a little bit prepped for this show, which we rarely do, because you guys get to tell us what we're going with.
0:30And you also are going to be hearing your voices because we invite you guys to come on.
0:35It's a live studio audience. Raise your hands, come in, kind of like an old school radio show, and then you're going
0:42to talk and we're going to talk fantasy, whatever it is, whether it's trades, whether it's draft, whatever you got.
0:48You can come join us, FantasyPros.com slash chat on the Discord every Thursday at 2 p.m.
0:52Eastern. You want to know why it's also really good, Erickson, to come and join live, not just because you get it a day before?
0:59You want to know why? I know why. It's not rhetorical.
1:03Oh, you know why. Okay. Because when the show messes up and maybe a certain person that hosts the show screws it
1:09up and it doesn't air as a podcast, literally only the people that were in here, we did a show for them.
1:15You got your own individualized show. That's why there wasn't a show last week.
1:20I was actually trying to be better. I had these filters on to try to get rid of noise gates to make
1:26everybody's life a little bit easier, and I made everybody's life worse because my audio was all screwed up, and we were able to have no podcast.
1:34So sorry, Erickson. Sorry, buddy. It was a banger episode, but for those that were in the Discord last week, you heard it.
1:41We did the sports talk radio bit of Patriots 98.5, Andrew Erickson, Chris Walsh, here, right now.
1:46Well, Erickson went on a seven-minute rant about his conversation with the Beat Reporter.
1:50It's probably better that you didn't listen to that episode.
1:52No, it was pretty good. It was pretty good.
1:55Yeah, I know. We had a lot of fun with it, but it was a podcast just for the Discord, so there
2:02would be a good reason to come and hang out besides hearing it live, hearing it early, and being on it.
2:08Hearing it at all when I screw up the recording, but we got contingencies upon contingencies, and we are back.
2:13And not only are we going to talk to you, but we are going to be talking about sleepers just at the
2:20top here for a second, and we will tell you why.
2:23We are going to give you some of our deep sleepers and how we've ranked them this year, but we are coming
2:30off of the heels of two things, as a matter of fact.
2:33Fantasy Fest in the books, just overall, we had a little bit of chaos at the beginning if people didn't realize.
2:39I still feel bad. Like, I thought it was a funny joke about my Seth, poor Seth, calling him Timu J.J.
2:45Zacharisen, which, by the way, I'd love to be.
2:48I'm fat J.J. Zacharisen, if anything. But I felt bad because poor Seth was, if people didn't know, we had chaos right
2:54before it started, and there was a time issue, and J.J.
2:57wasn't here, and it wasn't his fault. And then Seth is like a gangster.
3:02He's just like, I'll jump in, and we were trying to figure out what was going on, and then he just appeared and jumped in.
3:09And then J.J. showed up, and I had to boot Seth off of the show, and then we were joking about it.
3:15It did make it really fun. It was an incredible Fantasy Fest.
3:19Awesome guest. You and I just didn't get to do anything with it, but it was great.
3:24We had some awesome guests, guests that I had never interacted with J.J.
3:28before. You had Yonkey on, which was super cool.
3:30He's phenomenal on PFF. So I thought it was really great.
3:33If you missed it live, the individual pieces are going to be spaced out into episodes and stuff like that.
3:39But that first one, that's what people are going to get, was like the chaos behind the scenes.
3:44We were like ducks with feet going crazy underwater trying to keep it cool.
3:48But what do you think? Any external thoughts post-Fantasy Fest?
3:51It's not how you start. It's how you finish, man.
3:54That's what the mantra, the mindset of the Fantasy Pros team was.
3:58And I think that we delivered a extremely professional, worthwhile experience throughout all the hours that we were recording.
4:03I think, what, five hours total with the Twitch after party.
4:07We did the mock draft. All the segments, like you said, can be re-uploaded on YouTube on the podcast feed.
4:12So if you missed the live experience. And I think being part of the chat is really fun, too.
4:18Like, I was in the chat. Fitzy was in the chat.
4:21D-Bro was in the chat. Like, we're all just like chatting up, answering as many questions.
4:26Because at the end of the day, man, we all just love fantasy football.
4:30We love the NFL. And it's kind of like a weird treat this year because the NFL is starting so much later.
4:36There's like an extra week of building up to the start of the season.
4:40Which I kind of like. I think NFL teams hate it because it means it's another week of training camp for guys to get potentially hurt.
4:48When they're like, we just want to start the games.
4:51And it also means to, again, remember this. When you're watching football every single week and you're away from your loved ones.
4:57That Valentine's Day is also the same day as the Super Bowl this year.
5:01So there you go. Is there a real idea if you didn't think?
5:05You're married long enough. Valentine's Day doesn't lead to you.
5:08My wife has become very much like, Valentine's Day is all corporate.
5:12She doesn't talk like that. That would be a whole new thing.
5:15But it's very corporate for her. And so it's just not into it.
5:19But I like it later. I like it happening later.
5:22I feel like we get a little bit more space.
5:25A little bit more room for activities to grow in here.
5:28But highly suggest if you don't want to watch like a four-hour stream and then go over to Twitch.
5:33Check out all the bits and parts of it.
5:36And there was some awesome stuff. And it was a great job.
5:40Also, the second thing off the heels. Then we're going to go to sleepers real quick.
5:44And then we're going to be talking to you guys.
5:47So make sure those hands are raised. Is you just finished up the tailgate fantasy draft.
5:52And kind of an interesting process you did with it too.
5:5516-team league, if I remember correctly. And then every host on the tailgate for that episode shared the team, correct?
6:01So do you want to – don't give away because it's a full episode.
6:05But do you want to give a little synopsis and a little preview of anything interesting that happened?
6:10By the way, tailgate. You guys can go check out tailgate NFL on YouTube.
6:14It's our straight NFL channel. And Erickson brought some fantasy to it.
6:18So there may have been some bullying going on in turn for some of the picks where one of us may have been very against a certain player.
6:26And the other two were like, nope, screw you.
6:28We're taking this guy anyway. So did that – was the bullying person possibly rhyme with Shmi Shmo?
6:34Shmi Shmo? Yes. Shmerick? Shmerick Shmrown? Shmerick Shmrown? Yes, it did.
6:37That's why we have Roman Doonsay on the squad and not Jonathan Brooks because Worm and I were like, no, we're going wide receiver.
6:44And Debra was like, no, there's going to be a running back run.
6:48He was actually right. So we actually probably should have listened to Debra.
6:52We did not. Missed out on the running backs.
6:54But that's okay. The team in the draft analyzer because we synced it up with draft assistant on Fantasy Pros.
7:00And we got the second best team based on the grade.
7:03So feel good about it. And just as an FYI PSA, if you're doing a 14-team, 16-team league, you've got to punt the onesie positions.
7:10You just have to do it. The fact that we were able to get Mahomes and Jared Goff as our two quarterbacks
7:17in rounds 13 and 14, it just makes the rest of your roster so, so, so much better.
7:22So it was a really fun draft to do.
7:25Looking forward to recapping it every Monday, how that team did because it's going to be the same group on the tailgate between me, Worm, and Debro.
7:33So every week we'll briefly hit on, okay, who messed up?
7:36Which start decision did we not make this week?
7:38And I think it's going to work where we'll assign everybody, okay, you're doing quarterbacks, you're doing running backs, you're doing receivers
7:45and tight ends and flex this week. So we know who to blame when our team doesn't win.
7:50So there's not a ton of bullying. So there's not like massive amount.
7:54I like that there was some bullying on there.
7:57We did try to capitulate. So like we did that with Debro and it's like, all right, when we had another pick
8:03that we couldn't decide, we said, okay, Debro, we didn't get, you didn't get to pick your guy last time.
8:09You can pick your guy this time. So we, it all came out fair square.
8:13It's a science. Bogman and I do, we've done this for multiple years.
8:17It's a theoretical industry league because it's like industry people.
8:20Fitzy's actually a part of it. God, who was all in it?
8:23Like Jeff Erickson, DVR, Derek Van Riper runs it.
8:26And it's, we call it the pentathlon, but it's a five event league.
8:30And it's like super flex auction. Then there's a best ball.
8:33And then we have to do picks. And then we have to do a DFS team and survivor.
8:38Those are the five events. It's a monster event that we do every year.
8:42Bogman and I won it the previous year. We've cashed in every single, we played three years straight.
8:48We've, we've cashed in every single one we've, we've played in because you get paid per event.
8:52And then there's an overall, but we won it two years ago, but we share a team and there is a science
8:59to having the right people to be there. So there's, there's the proper amount of bullying that happens where it's like, no, no, no, no.
9:06I'm going to take this one and I'm going to take over this situation without anybody, you know, getting butt hurt.
9:12And three of you, there's a good amount of bullying that can happen in there as you guys.
9:18So I highly suggest go and listen on the tailgate, support that channel, NFL talk.
9:22And all season long from a real NFL perspective, we'll be doing breakdowns after like on Mondays.
9:27And then we'll have the previews for the week coming up.
9:30And there may be even some other cool stuff.
9:33So make sure you check it out on the tailgate.
9:36One other thing we want to do before we start getting to your questions.
9:40So continue hanging with us in the audience. We've got a ton of hands raised and we're going to plow through them is we've mentioned this before.
9:48Humbly Erickson and I, we did obviously fantasy pros has lots of different rankings.
9:52We have like the draft rankings. We've got the, uh, in season accuracy rankings.
9:56And another one they've really propped up this year was the sleeper rankings.
10:00And it's a, it's a select amount of players that are in that you like a pool that you can choose from.
10:06And you pick like two quarterbacks, four running backs, four wide receivers.
10:09And that's something you'll end up seeing if you do your draft insights on fantasy pros after, where it'll be like, Hey,
10:16you drafted the number one consensus sleeper, dah dah.
10:18Well, the accuracy article came out a couple of weeks ago and Erickson and I happen ironically to be both top seven overall in the world.
10:26Uh, or, you know, the world air quotes of whoever's doing it.
10:30And I was five shockingly to me and you were seven.
10:33So we were top seven in there. And Erickson was like, you know, we should use that to our advantage.
10:39We should talk about sleepers and we should do that.
10:41And since this is our show, let's do that here.
10:44This is kind of the sleeper, the extra sleeper point podcast.
10:48What we're going to do here for a second.
10:50And so we are going to announce who our sleepers are in the contest right now.
10:55And then next week, if there's an update, we will come back to it.
10:59And those are going to be the sleepers we are attached to.
11:02It's a really interesting process too, because another thing I'm proud of is I finished higher in the draft ranks than any
11:09of us, which, you know, I'm, I'm the lonely little analyst over here on the football side or host.
11:14I mean, with playing little analysts, uh, occasionally that I got to finish so high, but my point of this is I was dominant at running back.
11:22No one was better than me at running back.
11:25And I was second and wide receiver to D bro, but in the sleeper, I was horrible at quarterback and tight end and the draft rankings.
11:32But the sleeper rankings, the quarterback and the tight end is what pushed me up.
11:37I had Drake may at sleeper quarterback last year and Tyler Warren and Kyle pits it.
11:42The literal draft things I sucked at my actual sleepers are what one, one me that.
11:46So this will be a really interesting experiment of what this looks like.
11:50Do you remember what your best position was in draft rankings and in sleeper rankings at all?
11:55Do you know, like who, what was your best hit at sleeper?
11:58And what was your best position for draft, uh, in season or draft rankings?
12:02I don't remember what the best one in draft was.
12:05Um, I want to say it was probably the tight end or running back.
12:09I think it definitely was not wide receiver. I can say that pretty confidently because that was the, that seems like the,
12:16one of the tougher positions to rank just because there's so much volatility and there's so many different guys.
12:21With sleepers. I'm looking for you. You want to know what it is?
12:25Yeah. No, tell me. Was I right? Was my hunch right or was I wrong?
12:30What, what did you guess? Running backs and tight ends.
12:33And you said it was not what those are my better ones.
12:36And receiver wasn't my worst. Uh, you were the best at wide receiver.
12:40Oh my God. That was your best. You were about to, you know, that was your best.
12:45I know. I just thought that made me laugh.
12:47Cause you're like, there's just no way. No, you were literally, you're now you're draft ranking.
12:52There's in season and there's draft, your draft ranking.
12:55You were, your best position was actually wide receiver.
12:57Um, so yeah, I must've been thinking in season then probably.
13:00In season. Yeah. I think you were kind of a beast in season.
13:04I'll look real quick. You're in season. You were a monster at tight end.
13:08You were, you were pretty damn good across the board if we're being honest, but tight end was your hands away.
13:14Best then running back then wide receiver and then quarterback.
13:17But you were, you were roughly at least top third in every single position, but tight end you were, uh, you were 17th.
13:24So you were like 17th best out of like 200 plus people.
13:28I think we had, or this was like 158.
13:30Yeah. So you were like top 35% in every single position.
13:33And in, you were, you weren't as good, uh, in the draft season as you were in season, but you were a monster in season.
13:41Yeah. No, I mean, a tight end. And it's to me, especially when you're doing the rankings, I think it just so advantageous to take the swings, right?
13:49Cause all tight ends at the end of the day, most numbers are all bad.
13:53So if there's anyone with a semblance of, okay, there's a path where we can get a ceiling type of performance.
13:59I remember one specific week where everybody was really concerned about like Brock Bowers coming off his injury.
14:05And I was just sitting back thinking, man, it's Brock Bowers and I don't care.
14:09Just you gotta play this guy if he's healthy.
14:12And he smashed in his first game back, which isn't always, it doesn't always happen.
14:16We know that guys coming back from injuries the first week back is always a very, it's tough waters sometimes, but when
14:22it's tight end and the floor is zero for most of these guys anyway, it's just so worth going after just chasing
14:29the boom with a player like up Brock Bowers or someone that, you know, as elite.
14:33So, uh, well, that was my second best, by the way, uh, was in season.
14:38If we're talking again, we're, this is draft season.
14:40So in season doesn't matter to you guys probably a whole bunch, but wide receiver was my best in season.
14:46And, and then that was my second best in a draft season.
14:50I would think I was like top 20 if I remember.
14:53So wide receiver across the board, apparently I'm okay.
14:56A pitied in was my second best. It's a little bit worse at running back, even though I was a monster in draft season.
15:03And I'm just like hilariously, historically, absolutely horrific at quarterback, except when I pick a sleeper.
15:07So before we do, do you want to just do the questions first and just hit the sleepers on the rip?
15:13Cause I know we have a big queue up here so far and I want to make sure that we can get to everybody.
15:20Do you want us to do that? It's every, whatever you want to do, whatever you want to do.
15:26We're men of the people, men of the people to the people first, and then we'll humbly brag about our amazing picks
15:32that are going to smash in 2000. Okay. So that's the tease then there's the tease is at the end of the
15:39episode, we will give you what our sleeper picks are for the season, uh, to run it to quarterback for running back for wide receiver to tight end.
15:47We'll talk about what our sleepers are with the last like 10 minutes or so.
15:51And then there may be an update because things do update, um, especially at the last preseason next week, that's going in.
15:58If you guys care about that. So, uh, we're going to get to your guys's questions.
16:02You got lots of hand raised, but if you guys want to join in the action as always, make sure you go
16:09to fantasypros.com slash chat, where you can not only be a part of a really cool discord community where people are mock drafting, they're talking fantasy.
16:16There's a ton of rooms to kind of peruse yourself with, but we've also got exclusive AMAs like this that end up on the podcast feed.
16:24Here is the schedule right now. Now we've got Boggan fits who are doing 5.
16:28PM Eastern every Tuesday through the end of the month.
16:31But that's, I think like maybe one, I'm not even sure if there's, I think that might be done because I think September 1st is on a Tuesday.
16:39So I'm not sure if they're going to, how that's going to work, but then it goes to like once a month, Worm and fits 5.
16:47PM Eastern on the first Tuesday of every month.
16:50So that's the sneaky part where next Tuesday actually might be them.
16:53Uh, but here's a big important one. Me and Erickson are here in season every Thursday, 2 PM Eastern.
16:59So come on, get your questions answered. Be a part of the show.
17:02Be a part of the extra point. Fantasypros.com slash chat.
17:05Fantasypros.com slash chat. And if you just have even a free fantasy pros account, it can hook up to the discord.
17:11You can get in here. You ain't got to have nothing else.
17:15All right, let's get to it. As we got some of the stuff out of the way.
17:20Cornwallis was in here. I think I might've beat Cornwallis in here, but Cornwallis was in here at least 10 minutes before
17:26the show and was the very first hand raised.
17:29So Cornwallis, you are first up on the extra point this week.
17:32What up, dude? Oh, good afternoon. Um, I got two questions.
17:36You want me to just fire them both off or do you want me to split them up?
17:41Um, yeah, if you fire them both off. Yeah, yeah, sure.
17:44Okay. So first one, fairly easy. I don't understand Dak's ranking.
17:47I feel like he's ranked a little too low.
17:50Uh, just wanted to get your guys' take on that.
17:53Uh, second question is, um, doing an auction draft.
17:55And a lot of times you kind of end up with a little too much money at certain parts of the draft.
18:02I'm curious your guys' thoughts on who are guys in the early, mid and late that you're willing to overspend on to
18:08make sure you get them on your roster. And then who is your blacklist?
18:12You don't want them unless they have a discount on them.
18:16Jeez. Cornwallis coming in here with a banger of a question to start with.
18:20Real quick on Dak, I mentioned on the fest, and I'm gonna let you speak on this, Erickson, though.
18:25I did an episode with a Bogman that's gonna be released already on In This League prior to this airing on the
18:32podcast feed where we talked about league winners and losers.
18:34But what we did instead of picking our league winners and losers, we actually went and looked at, like, aggregate.
18:40Like, we looked across the land. We looked for everybody else in the world's league winners and losers.
18:46And we, you know, were able to accumulate who the top guys were.
18:49Hands down, Dak Prescott was the number one quarterback that everybody felt was a league winner.
18:54And I thought that was interesting based on guys like Herbert and Lawrence.
18:58But ironically, he also had come up on one or two league losers.
19:02So that was really weird. So he, as I had mentioned on fest, the players like Corey Krosky-Meritt was the number one running back.
19:09God, I'm forgetting. I think Jalen Waddle was near, like, the top of wide receivers.
19:13And Dak was the top of quarterback. So do you buy that Dak is, like, underrated?
19:18And if so, why is that? And obviously, if not, tell us that he's properly ranked.
19:22You know the feeling. You make a pick in your fantasy draft and the entire room groans because they wanted that player.
19:29Or you grab a small school rookie off waivers and you start him right before he goes off in primetime.
19:35There's no better feeling than crushing your fantasy football league.
19:37I'm JJ Zacharyson, host of the Late Round Fantasy Football Podcast.
19:41Before your draft, our players to target and players to avoid episodes tell you exactly who to circle and who to cross off.
19:47We've got data-driven analysis, historical trends, and the strategies that separate winners from the rest.
19:52And your dominance doesn't stop with the draft. All season long, we have our 15 transactions, 10 trends, sleepers, and the mailbag.

20:07On Big Lives, we take a single cultural icon.
20:10People like Jane Fonda, George Michael, Richard Pryor. And we pull apart the story behind the image.
20:14And we do this by digging through the BBC's vast archive.
20:18We're talking iconic moments in broadcast history. I'm not just a boxer.
20:21I'm educated. I can talk all week on millions of subjects.
20:24And forgotten interviews that change how we see these giants of our culture.
20:28Well, if changing the system from the ground up is revolutionary, then I'm revolutionary.
20:32We're here for the messy, the brilliant, the human version of our heroes.
20:36I mean, when I go on stage, I like to dress as slutty as possible because it makes me dance better for some reason.
20:43I'm Emmanuel Jochi. I'm Kai Wright. And this is Big Lives.

20:51Dear honeys, this is goodbye. In February of 2024, celebrated illustrator and children's book author Petra Mathers and her husband Michael nailed
20:57letters to dozens of friends and family members to let them know that they had died by suicide.
21:02By the time you get this letter, both Petra and I will be dead.
21:06Next stop, Wonderland. Petra and Michael were by all accounts healthy, happy, and in love.
21:11Why did they do it? And what did it do to the people they left behind?
21:15I would have given a million reasons to not leave this world had I known.
21:20I keep coming back to, I truly hope that Petra was a thousand percent on board with the plan.
21:25Do you think of him as having killed her?
21:28Yes, I do. I hold Michael responsible for my mother's death.
21:31I'm Leon Nafok. And I'm Alice Gregory. Together, we set out to interview everyone who got one of Petra and Michael's letters.
21:38As one married couple trying to understand another. Listen to Death of an Artist on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
21:45I think he's more properly ranked. I think that he's just part of how good quarterback is this year and how deep you can go at the position.
21:53You look at Dak Prescott, compare him to someone like Joe Burrow.
21:57Joe Burrow goes rounds and rounds ahead of Dak Prescott.
22:00Why would you draft Joe Burrow when you can just draft Dak Prescott instead?
22:04You know what I mean? So in that perspective, there's value there.
22:07The only thing I'll push back on with Dak is he doesn't add anything as a rusher.
22:12So that does technically limit the potential ceiling outcome for him versus some of these other players who can just add so much more on the ground.
22:20Which I think is the only reason why Dak is going where he's going because he doesn't add that rushing.
22:26And I do think that there's an element of the Dallas Cowboys defense being significantly better than it was last year.
22:32Where every game they played was a shootout because their defense was so bad.
22:36I don't think that's going to be the case here in 2026.
22:40So that's another thing to kind of factor in.
22:42But I think Dak is, I mean, I'm not going to push back, but you can't draft Dak Prescott.
22:48I think he's a good value where he goes, but there's just a lot of good values at quarterback this year.
22:54Yeah, I tend to do the like what you guys say about Dak.
22:58I'm like, well, Purdy. Purdy goes after him. Yeah, exactly.
23:01Yeah. It seems like you just find a lot of options like Dak.
23:04So if he's the one that ends up being there at the pick that you make, it's a rock and roll.
23:10Yeah. So the auction question, because we can't spend 20 minutes on it.
23:14Here's what I just want to throw out. But I am a studs and scrubs auction drafter.
23:19I tell myself sometimes when I do it, I won't be, but I always am.
23:24Like I get myself involved into probably spending high on four players and then finding values.
23:28So I think I don't run into your issue.
23:31I never leave money on the table because I'm spending money early and I am finding myself later in draft just trying
23:37to kind of piecemeal some of the other pieces.
23:40So that's my strategy. I never run into what you're doing.
23:43If you are running into that situation, this is probably a conversation around the must have.
23:48Who are players that you must have to spend on early, late, middle?
23:52And again, I don't even think it has to be an auction thing.
23:55But Erickson, you're welcome. I mean, I think guys like Jalen Waddell and Nick Buka, I just want to have on teams.
24:02I think if I do that, I'm going to probably spend on high running backs as well.
24:07I obviously still like McCaffrey, but I think if it was PPR guys like Devon Achan.
24:11But again, that's my caveat here. I don't save up money and try to have the hammer.
24:16Like people love having the hammer. I just want three or four banger players.
24:20And I also go out early. Like I am, I'm going to get my first player in the first two or three
24:27because I have year after year in auctions found that I'm going to get better deals on players early on when people then start becoming desperate.
24:34Oh, the tier is changing of running backs, the tier is changing of wide receivers.
24:39So I am aggressive early and I get a high amount of players.
24:43Do you have any different strategy you play towards auction and or who are some must targets that you are going to be spending money on?
24:50I agree going aggressive early is the way to move because at the time it might seem like you are being aggressive.
24:57But then when the actual dollars for every player, you see them, you might realize, oh, I actually got a deal on this player.
25:04And it's when Kyle Pitts goes for $4 less than Colson Loveland, you're going to be like, I'm glad I was aggressive,
25:10you know, and that could be going for $27 and then Kyle Pitts goes for 22.
25:15It's just a rough example. But you can only get that experience by doing these auction drafts because that's at least my
25:21experience doing it with the Kings Classic with Pat Fitzmorris as my co-manager and being in a live draft room with a
25:27real auctioneer when the bullets are flying. Like after those first two rounds, that's when the market prices really start to get set.
25:34Whereas the first two rounds go by of people putting players on the board for certain prices and it's kind of no man's land.
25:41Like you have kind of like a gauge because everyone has their cheat sheets about, okay, $200 budget.
25:46This guy should go for this range. But it's those first two go rounds where the places or the players, the tiers kind of get set.
25:54And I think it makes more sense to be more aggressive.
25:57And again, it's not always going to work. Like you may end up overpaying, but I am, I don't think you should
26:04ever feel bad for overpaying for an elite player.
26:06Like that's like the thing at the end of the day.
26:09So even if you do overspend a little bit, well, I overspend on Jameer Gibbs.
26:14Like I can live with that. I overspend on Jamar Chase.
26:17Okay. I can live with that. The last thing you know, I actually hate overspend on a bat, like a mid player.
26:23Well, you know, it's funny about that. I actually kind of, even though I said Jalen Waddle and Egg Buka, I kind
26:30of hate being put in the position where if you know, everybody likes a player that I'm then now going to be forced into overpaying for Jalen Waddle.
26:38So that's a great point. You say, let me overpay for Justin Jefferson.
26:42Let me overpay for Puka Nakua instead of everybody.
26:44You think you're going to, whatever your site as Jonathan Brooks's cost is going to be his average cost.
26:50LOL. There's no, he's going to go for so much more than whatever site you're drafting on says it's going to be.
26:56And it's like, I want those guys, but those guys to me become the problem because everybody knows about the sleepers and overpaying for them.
27:04I don't like doing that. So I love that you said overpay for the top dogs.
27:08Don't put yourself in a situation where you're massively overpaying for the buzzy, fun, middle line players.
27:13Not to say that necessarily Waddle or Egg Buka can't be top 12 or anything like that, but I just don't like being put in that position.
27:21Yeah. So that's one thing for early round players, middle round players, like some names of just guys.
27:26I think that might not be so, so expensive.
27:29I think that the Andre Swift is probably a player that I think you can probably get at a reasonable price where
27:35he's got a locked and loaded RB two floor.
27:38And if this bears offense is as good as we think it can be, maybe he finally gets unleashed as a running
27:44back one this season receivers in the middle rounds.
27:47There's a lot of great guys that you can go through, whether it's the Waddle, whether it's the Bukas Garrett Wilson, T Higgins.
27:54Those are two other players that they don't get a ton of buzz because one's on the jets and one was the
28:00number two receiver, but they're also proven producers. And I think that for me, it's, I almost want to put guys that
28:07are not breakout players on my auction teams because you just don't see, is there going to be a bidding war for Garrett Wilson?
28:14Is there going to be a bidding war for T Higgins?
28:17Probably not. Well, yeah, it's kind of what I was saying.
28:20And those guys, look, do I think that they're like going to have superstar seasons?
28:24Like not necessarily, but do I think they can be like serviceable parts of your team and your roster?
28:30Yeah. And you can get them at good prices.
28:33So those are just some names that I would listen to.
28:36And I would also punt quarterback because a lot of auction leagues, quarterbacks go for basically nothing and nobody bids them up
28:42because everyone knows how deep the position is. So that's another thing that I would do in the late rounds.
28:48Yes, sir. You can also, if you want to see like players that we're into, if you haven't listened to a million
28:54episodes of us, we've got like a top targets articles on fantasy pros.
28:58If you go under the draft kit, just fantasypros.com or on the app, you can go to the draft kit and you'll
29:05sign, you'll see like Erickson, Debro, Fitzy. I've got one of like our cheat sheets, top targets and stuff like that.
29:11And that can maybe help you figure out these are players.
29:14If we want them, we might be willing to auction more, but just remember what we've said.
29:19Like, I don't disagree with you. Like Garrett Wilson, Roma Dunze.
29:22It doesn't feel like those are going to be good.
29:25You know who is going to go for way more?
29:28Jonathan Brooks, Parker Washington. Like those are guys that are going to go for astronomical amounts.
29:33Not to say that you don't want them, but that's just how the auctions are going to.
29:38If you're like banking, like, well, guys, I'm going to get the value on Parker Washington.
29:42It's like, you're probably not actually. So good luck.
29:45J Mac premium member on the fantasy bros discord.
29:47What's up, J Mac? Unmute that mic. No. There you go.
29:51Sorry about that. There it is. What's up, man?
29:53Appreciate it. Dynasty question. 12 team, one QB. The league analyzer has been projected sixth right now.
29:58So that sucks. But someone's coming after Charbonnet and his best offer is a 2028 second round for Charbonnet.
30:04What do you think? Yep. Take it. You're easy on that.
30:07Yeah, they just drafted a running back in the first round.
30:10He's coming off a major knee injury. In a contract here.
30:13So I have no idea what Charbonnet could be in 2027.
30:17But he may be on a different team. I don't like his outlook.
30:20Um, I, I, I don't like the trade because I think Charbonnet can reestablish value.
30:25I mean, I'll be honest with you. Like there's a chance that he could just destroy his value where he doesn't come back and he's just nothing.
30:33But I think there's, we were talking about a 2028 second round pick.
30:36I'm not sure that the value holds there. And I think there's a path in the next 12 months where he either comes back, they give him opportunity.
30:45He reestablishes his value or he is a free agent.
30:47He's on a new team and he's been being the starter.
30:51If you would have said a first round pick, I think that's something where you don't screw around.
30:56I don't think a second round pick to me is worth.
30:59I would rather sit on him and see if I can recoup better value because the second round pick doesn't hold as much weight.
31:06But Erickson and I have different like dynasty philosophies, especially when it comes to like players and draft picks.
31:12Well, to your point, I think that waiting for Charbonnet to probably just come back first is probably before he not before
31:18he comes back and plays just okay. He's back healthy.
31:21He's going to play this week. That's when you trade him before he actually steps foot on the field.
31:27But when he's not on IR or PUP anymore, there might be, it might be the literal worst time to trade him
31:33is Jadarian price continues to go up. He's on the PUP.
31:36No one's talking about him. You do. There's an opportunity, like I said, that he becomes a big old fat nothing burger and you get nothing for him.
31:44But do you really care that you lost out on a two years from now second round pick?
31:50I'm just not. I just don't know if that matters as much.
31:53But that's me. Jack. Jack premium member on the fantasy bros discord.
31:57What's up, dude? Come on down. Dun dun dun.
31:59Hey, guys. Hey, what up? Um, I put my question in the chat.
32:03It's a another dynasty thing. I lost in the championship.
32:06I have a really solid roster. One quarterback, two wide receivers, two running backs, two flex.
32:11Yep. We got it. So I'm kind of being asked to make trades.
32:14I don't feel like I need to make trades.
32:17I think this is kind of like a do a trade because I'm bored kind of situation.
32:22So it would be sending Rashi Rice and Javante Williams to upgrade like RB three and RB two for Reese Hall and a 27 second and fourth.
32:30I don't know if that's like the fantasy bros dynasty rankings makes it kind of seem pretty equal.
32:35Uh, I just wanted to see what you guys thought.
32:38I don't know. Yeah. I think that this is a one you gotta, you gotta walk away.
32:43You gotta log off. Hate it. Never hated a trade more.
32:46You just said you're going to upgrade it. Right.
32:49You're downgrading at running back. You're actually downgrading at running back.
32:52Javante. I mean, it's lateral at best. At best it's lateral.
32:55So that means is Rashi Rice only worth a second and a fourth round pick?
33:00I hate it. Not if you're trying to win now, because this is the only time he's going to help you.
33:06I want to win now. Yeah. That's what he says to win.
33:09Yeah. I want to win now. Right. Rice is only good if you want to win your league now, because his like,
33:16there's no difference between Rice's dynasty ranking and his redraft ranking because everyone knows that 2027 he could be out of the league at that point.
33:23Like, we don't know what's going to happen to Rashi Rice, but this year he should at least be productive.
33:29By the way, don't let Jack was sounding like D bro here.
33:32He's getting bullied around in his league. Like, oh, I just want me to trade.
33:37Like, no, like that's a bad trade. That is not disappointed.
33:40Cause he got Bijon 40 burger last year in the championship, which obviously sucks.
33:44But yeah, don't let the league mates bully you around.
33:47Like, no, you run the trades. You are Howard Roseman.
33:50Have confidence. You're the captain. Yeah. You counter and you go like, I'll give you Rashi rice and I want breeze hall in a second round pick.
33:58And then just, you go there. Like that's too, that's in the other direction.
34:02That's how I play the hammer. Oh, the hammer down.
34:05Exactly. That's where I want the hammer, not in the auction league.
34:08I want it in the trades. Take it back.
34:11Um, what is the J J J J what's up JJ?
34:14How y'all doing? Good man. How you doing? Good.
34:17I have two, uh, trade questions for you. One is a dynasty.
34:20I have AJ Brown and I'm rebuilding. Do I trade him?
34:23I have an offer on the table for Caleb Douglas and the first, the second question.
34:28Wait, first in 2027. First in 2027. Okay. Uh, stop there.
34:31Stop there for a second. Let's just break that down.
34:34So hold on JJ. What do you, uh, Erickson, what do you think about this?
34:39Uh, yeah, that's, that's the market price for Brown.
34:41Your rebuilder. Brown is going to be, he's older.
34:44So I think that getting a first for him makes sense.
34:47It was a first, just a first alone. Just that doesn't mean 2027 classes stack.
34:51So no, no, I completely agree with that. But I'm like the guy that you would take in the top 15, regardless
34:58of age, who's going to have a couple more years, like a first round that'll just, that's alone.
35:03We'll do it. I mean, you want to know, I guess like for me, it's enough.
35:08I mean, obviously I'd want as much as I could get, but I think that's the going rate.
35:13I think that's okay. Yeah. I'm not, I'm not in love with it.
35:17But, um, again, I'm like, I am super hyper.
35:19Like, I guess you want to have your picks next year.
35:23And if you told me that is a projected top five pick, I think that holds a lot more weight.
35:28If you're going to tell me that's like bottom half of the first round, it's just like, I don't know, man.
35:35Like, I guess you said you're rebuilding. It's just like, can you not get, uh, more, but again, you can tell the differences of me and Erickson have.
35:43What was the second question? I just did a redraft and Josh Jacobs is my RB two.
35:48How worried are we about his legal situation? And should I trade for Marshawn Lloyd guy that has Marshawn Lloyd wants Quinton Johnston back for him?
35:55That's a good question. I think I'm generally worried about the suspension, but it's probably only going to be to like a one or two game run.
36:03Um, I love the idea of getting Marshawn Lloyd, but would you trade Johnston for Marshawn Lloyd?
36:08So you're not responding to this Jacobs report because that thing, that was nothing new.
36:12They, they, that's the same stuff that's always been out.
36:15It's been out there for a while. Right. But I think that it got confused because some of the reporting was that,
36:22oh, we're embracing for him to be suspended when they asked him.
36:25The question was worded very differently than how some of the reporting was where it could have been a kind of misleading
36:32of, okay, he's going to be preparing for him to get suspended.
36:35No, the question was the reporter asked, uh, Guttekunst.
36:38Hey, so are you prepared if Jacobs gets suspended?
36:40And of course he's going to say like, yes.
36:43So I can't be like, no, we're so screwed.
36:46If like the, the, uh, the Peyton Manning thing where it's like, you don't practice F right?
36:51Like if Peyton Manning were to go down, that's one of the backups never played.
36:55It's like, well, Peyton Manning doesn't play. We're screwed.
36:58So the Packers a little bit more prepared. I think Lloyd for Quentin Johnson is fair, but I think that you're playing scared here.
37:05I think a little bit, I mean, you drafted Josh Jacobs as your RB two and now you're handcuffing him when there really is no other information.
37:12So I don't, I don't really love this maneuver to be honest.
37:16Like this feels like you're drafting and playing kind of scared, which I guess, why did you draft Jacobs in the first place?
37:23If you really thought you were concerned, I mean, maybe I get, I don't know where they got him in the draft is RB two.
37:30So like he was like six round pick, like sick.
37:33Um, there's not a lot of risks there. So I don't know.
37:36I don't love this maneuver. I'm kind of indifferent about, I mean, cause he said this is redraft, right?
37:42So yeah. Like even Johnson's going way ahead of Marshawn Lloyd, I feel like, is he not?
37:47Yeah. No, a hundred percent. Like in my brain for a minute, as I was sitting here, I was like, I don't
37:53know, like dynasty, like I want Lloyd maybe. I mean, I mean, unless you're D bro and how you think Johnson's going
38:00to perform, like Lloyd is like a really great buy, but in a redraft, like what's the path for Lloyd?
38:06It is like strictly down to two things. Josh Jacobs gets suspended for a decent amount of time or Jacobs gets hurt.
38:12Otherwise, like, can you even see a scenario where Jacobs and Lloyd become Kyron Williams and Blake Corum?
38:17And it's like, it's hard to kind of see that.
38:20So to your point, then you're now trading maybe more valuable asset that is going to have more game time in Johnston for Lloyd.
38:27Yeah. This just feels like playing scared a little bit.
38:30And I don't know if I want to do that.
38:33Quinn Johnson is the better asset in a vacuum and Lloyd is still an unproven asset altogether.
38:38So I'll keep Johnson. Mock draft Mondays. This show is coming to you from our fantasy bros discord.

39:04That's fantasy pros.com slash chat. Mock draft Monday. Love it.
39:07Nick, Nick is back on the show. I'd love to see our regulars that pop in here.
39:12Uh, Nick, what's up, dude? What do you got for us?
39:15Hello, Nick. There we go. What's up, Nick? Oh, Nick.
39:18I feel like Nick's had these problems before. One, two, three, kick.
39:21Oh, wow. What timing? I mean, I booted him like I booted Seth from the show.
39:26Yeah, right. You got the hot feet, man. Booting everybody.
39:29I just got it. I got to get him out of there.
39:32Yeah. Here you go, Nick. So got to be quick on the draw, man.
39:36Quick on the draw. All right, Nick. Sorry. That was immaculate timing too that I, uh, I booted, but Nick, you got
39:43to reaccept it and come back up here. It's killing me.
39:46I get a trigger finger. Like I get three seconds of silence and I got to start booting.
39:51All right, Nick. Well, we'll come back to you.
39:54We're, you're having, there's some issues there. So, um, yeah, read.
39:57No, no, don't worry about it. Don't apologize, my friend, but re raise your hand.
40:02We'll try to do it again. Uh, before that though, let's go to catalyst.
40:06What's up, dude. Hey guys. Thanks for having me on the show.
40:09Um, I just want your two cents as far as a draft strategy.
40:13I'm trying to do for redraft. So it's 10 team PPR three wide receiver start.
40:17I'm coming off a championship win. Cause one of the things I've benefited on last two years is a strategy where I
40:24punt away quarterback, like past like round 10. And I found gems two years ago with Jane Daniels and Drake may last year.
40:30So I'm thinking that, um, as far as potentially top five numbers, maybe like, um, three quarters of the season will be, uh, Kyler Murray.
40:38Do you think that would be the case? So this is a re you gotta refresh me.
40:43You did a really good job of breaking it down, but this is a 10 team three wide receiver PPR.
40:48Yes. And you want to go late quarterback and Kyler's your target, correct?
40:52Yeah. Or Caleb Williams. Okay. Well, I mean, those are two very, very different way earlier than Kyler will.
40:58So I don't. Okay. But then are you comfortable taking Kyler so much later?
41:02Are you understanding Caleb's going to go sooner? Or do you think Caleb is such a tier above that he's worth taking,
41:08you know, let's just say the eighth round. I'm just throwing out a number.
41:12I'm not looking at his ADP right now. Let's say eighth round Caleb or legitimately like probably 14th round Kyler.
41:18Like does the gap mean anything to you to take Tyler, uh, Kyler or because it's a 10 man league and the gaps can be different.
41:26You want to make sure you have a guy like Caleb.
41:29Oh no, he said it was 10, not 12.
41:32Yeah. He said it was 10. Okay. Um, yeah, because I think for me, unless I really don't like any of the
41:38running backs receivers, tight ends that are in Caleb's range, then I'm just going to wait for Kyler because in a 10
41:44team league, you have access to all the quarterbacks.
41:47And if Kyle doesn't work out, like you don't need to hold onto him, right?
41:51Cut bait gone. Go to the waiver wire because you know, there's going to be plenty of quarterbacks there because it's only a 10 team league.
41:59So I still like going late run quarterback here and further investing in running backs, wide receivers and tight ends.
42:05And there's also no guarantee that Caleb goes in round eight.
42:08Like he could go earlier as you know, playing for the, one of the most hyped up teams this off season, the 2026 Chicago bears.
42:15So if he goes around six, it's like sick.
42:18Like I'm going to take another running back or wide receiver.
42:21Whereas we all know that Kyler is a thousand percent going into late rounds.
42:25Yeah. So, well, and there's also the Brock Purdy's of the world.
42:29Dak, we talked about. We're going to talk about our sleepers.
42:32Yeah. Hey, by the way, we'll talk about our sleepers here in a couple minutes of who we've got.
42:37Kyler might be on at least one of these.
42:40He's on mine. He's the number one quarterback. He's on mine too.
42:44Freaking news. Spoiler alert. He's on both of ours.
42:46So he is one of those. So a big spoiler alert there.
42:50All right, Nick, you're back up. Are you here?
42:52I am. Thank you for your patience. It's all good, brother.
42:56What's up? Well, she's going to apologize for booting you.
42:58Yeah, I'm sorry. You're what? What's the bit from from Happy Gilmore?
43:02You're smart. I'm dumb. You're more attractive than me.
43:05I am less attractive. I'm sorry, Nick. I love you.
43:07What do you have? I love your brother. I'm curious in like a 10 versus 12 team league for like early round build.
43:14If you're thinking of like still sticking with like two RBs through the first three, when to go early.
43:20You would like tight end versus waiting a little bit.
43:23I know theoretically in a 10, you want to have like more elite onesie upside.
43:27But just curious what your strategy is. And like, you know, in like a later part of a first round, if like
43:33I'm on rock or someone falls, are you trying to go there or like try to do two RBs through the first two?
43:40And like, if not, I guess which second running back you'd want to like be the cutoff in those first few rounds.
43:47I think we actually, we did a segment on draft strategy, by the way, on fantasy fest.
43:51It's great question. So be on the lookout for that.
43:54That one was with Sealy and Fitzy. And I think we actually kind of covered this a tiny bit.
44:00I'm a BPA guy in 10 team leagues. I think maybe we've kind of discussed this a little bit.
44:05If I'm going to sacrifice a position, it's going to be quarterback.
44:09But I am strict best player available because the player pool is better.
44:13The whole wide receiver running back thing doesn't really vibe for me.
44:16And I've also been toying around with telling everybody like I can't help myself when I can get Zay Flowers as my third wide receiver.
44:24And you can do that in 10 man leagues because I like guys like Basial Tootin at running back.
44:29So it's BPA. That's the best thing I can tell you.
44:32Maybe tight ends go a little bit higher as well.
44:35But I'm pushing quarterback down and I'm BPA. Cosign, any differences, Erickson?
44:39No, I'd have nothing else to add. Exactly what I would have said.
44:42Push up tight end a little bit more. Be ready to take Bowers.
44:46Be ready to take Loveland, etc. What does Bowers look like to you for that?
44:51Because I think I'm a little more gun shy about still investing.
44:54I'm more comfortable. I can do it. But I'm still like slightly more gun shy than like Fitz or you.
45:00What would Bowers look like? Like if you're in a 10 team and you had the ninth pick and you're coming around to what would that be?
45:08Pick a 12. Would you do it? Or pick a...
45:11Yeah, that'd be pick 12. Would you have Bowers there in the second round?
45:1516. You're picking. Oh, I know. I'm getting on a 10 team.
45:18No, no. Yeah, yeah. You know where I'm at.
45:21It's been a long week. I guess for me, I always look at Brock Bowers as kind of like Drake London, except he plays tight end.
45:29So wherever Drake London goes, I feel like Brock Bowers should go one spot ahead.
45:33Questionable quarterbacks, alpha target earners on their offenses, except one of them plays tight end.
45:37And that makes a lot of a difference, especially in a full PPR.
45:41So, yeah, I have no issue taking Bowers in a 10 team league at the beginning of round two.
45:47Yeah. But would you do it if, let's say, Jinty, A-Chan, A.J.
45:50Brown, and Bowers are sitting there at 11? Yes.
45:53Would you be like, well, I want to take Bowers because the tight end, you know, the advantage I'm going to get
45:59in this 10 team league, would you do that?
46:02Yeah. Assuming that I have a running back. I think it just depends on who you go in round one.
46:08I don't know if I want to punt. So if you did a wide receiver, you wouldn't?
46:13If you took, like, Jefferson at nine? Yeah. But I think that matters.
46:16Like, because there's no more elite running backs after the first two rounds, most likely.
46:21So that's what you don't want to run into.
46:23Yeah. I mean, in a 10 team league, we've seen Jinty fall down to 15.
46:28Is it like out of pocket to think he could come back in the third round?
46:32Or Kyron Williams seems to always be. I guess that's not like, that doesn't still qualify like elite or anything like that.
46:39But all right. I think it's a good breakdown.
46:41There's a couple different scenarios there. Like I said, I'm strictly more BPA than anything else.
46:46But 12 and 10 is super important to have the differences.
46:49Fuzzy. What's up, Fuzzy? What you got for us?
46:52Then I see Chinzor in the chat. What's up, dude?
46:55Yeah, we got you, man. Great. Thanks for having me on.
46:58Just more of a dynasty question here. So recently, we have a couple orphan teams that got joined.
47:03So we're doing like a soft reset where we're keeping seven players and redrafting the rest of the players.
47:09And I wanted to get your feedback on how many people I should.
47:13I got to cut three, but I know I'm cutting Josh Downs.
47:16I posted my screenshots of the teams that I currently have.
47:19And I wanted to get your feedback on who the other two people should be.
47:24I was, and it's a one quarterback QB, 12 team dynasty.
47:27So I was leaning more towards cutting Jaden Daniels.
47:29I know it hurts, but to stack with Rum with Dunze to go with Caleb Williams.
47:34And then maybe either Marvin Harrison, Travion or Rasheed Rice.
47:37So that's, so wait, what we're looking at is the entirety of the seven players that can be kept, correct?
47:43Correct. Okay, cool. All right. So let's just do this real quick.
47:46And then we want to get through our other two.
47:49And then get to our sleepers. The team, just so everybody knows.
47:53I just had to go away from it. Do you have that?
47:56Here we go. I mean, I would not cut Jaden Daniels.
47:59Even if I have Caleb. So it's Caleb or Jaden.
48:02Okay, so you keep Jaden. He keeps A-chan. He keeps Jenty.
48:06He keeps McBride. That's four. And then you choose between Rice, Dunze, Henderson, and Harrison.
48:10You've got to keep three of those four. And I'm guessing Travion, Dunze, and then it's Harrison versus Rice.
48:16And am I right? Am I on the right track here?
48:19Yeah, no, Harrison and Rice would be the two guys I would cut if he needs to cut three people.
48:25But if he has to keep one of those.
48:27Because that's how I remember. It's the two running backs.
48:30Daniels, McBride. Oh, yeah, Henderson. Yeah, sorry. I screwed that up.
48:33So then it would be. Or no. No, I'm doing this right.
48:37So now it is a Dunze, Harrison, or Rice.
48:39Oh, yeah. We're keeping a Dunze. So then which do you do?
48:43Harrison or Rice? I think I'm going to cut Harrison.
48:46Yeah, I'm cutting Harrison. See ya. See ya, buddy.
48:48The guy's got to show. I guess he's got to show it to me first.
48:53Before. Yep. See ya, pal. I'll kick it. That was a fun one.
48:57Chinzer. What up, dude? The Hollow Knight himself. I did my homework from last week.
49:01Do you want to refresh her on what the homework was?
49:04Oh, yes. This was. Yeah. Do it. Please do a refresher.
49:07I forgot. We told you to draft, but I don't remember what we told you.
49:12Yes. So the premise is I'm in a 14-team league.
49:15It's full PPR. Starting two running backs, two wide receivers, and a flex.
49:18So then everything else is pretty normal. And I'm in the four spot.
49:22So Chase is probably going to be gone as well.
49:25The top two RBs. So I'm looking at, you know, probably a wide receiver because I don't like CMC or JT.
49:31And so when I was mocking, I can get Puka or JSN or Amonrao, whichever one of those I decide to take.
49:38And then AJ Brown and Zay Flowers because I don't like the running backs in those spots.
49:43And then it was pretty much. This is that three wide receiver thing, right?
49:47When we were talking about should you go three wide receivers.
49:50The episode didn't air last week. So reminding everybody, this was where I got kind of like enamored with three wide receivers.
49:56So we said, go to the mock draft simulator, experiment with it.
50:00So you took three straight wide receivers, and now you're going to break down what your running back situation look like.
50:06Right. And before I get to that running back part, I just want a quick question on that first wide receiver because it's a 14 team.
50:14So I want to be a little bit more safe with that first pick.
50:18So I'm thinking, do you think it's crazy to go Amonrao instead of JSN or Puka if they're there?
50:23Just since he's such a high floor, high ceiling player.
50:26Not crazy, but I'm not doing it. But it's not crazy.
50:29I'm taking Puka. Yeah, Puka is my pick as well.
50:32I am going to go for JSN, but not Puka.
50:35Right. Okay. Okay. So worst case running backs I got were Ramondre, Jonathan Brooks, J.K.
50:40Dobbins, and Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt. So as far as worst case goes, pretty bad.
50:43Pretty bad. Yeah, it's pretty bad. Those where you're at, yeah.
50:46Ramondre. Ramondre was the RB1. Brooks was the 2 with Bill.
50:50That is a pretty bad scenario. And this was like, I mean, I have a newborn, so I'm mock drafting while I'm holding him to sleep.
50:57So I was like probably 25 mock drafts. It took a long time for me to get something that bad.
51:03Okay. So my question then, to clarify this, that was an entire, like, that was the worst version of what one team looked like, correct?
51:10That was weren't just like the worst. Were those the worst RB1s you put across all of them, or was that an entire RB setup?
51:18That was an RB setup. That was my roster of RBs.
51:21Okay. Yeah, that does stink. Yeah. The best case was Tootin Swift, Jonathan Brooks, and Pollard.
51:26That rocks. That, I love that. Erick, do you love that?
51:29Tootin Swift, Pollard, and who was the other one?
51:31Tootin Swift, Pollard, and Brooks. Wait, he said Brooks beforehand.
51:34Yeah, he got Brooks in both of them. He got Brooks in both of them.
51:39Yeah, that's what I mean. Yeah. So Brooks always lives in these, but this thing rocks.
51:43Yeah. Yeah. Well, because you said, you mentioned before it was bad.
51:47But then you're not- Because the other one is Ramondre Brooks.
51:50He's telling- What's the difference between Ramondre and Pollard?
51:53Ramondre's better than Pollard. Okay, but Tootin and Swift are the one, too.
51:56The other scenario, Ramondre and Brooks are the one, too.
51:59Yeah, I get that. That's poop. I mean, well, Brooks is in both of them, so I guess I'm not as like-
52:06But Brooks is the number three here in this one.
52:09Number four, or well, number three, I guess, if you like him over Pollard.
52:13Well, either way, worst case scenario, I don't think is Doomsday.
52:16And best case scenario is Swift or Tootin, which I think is really good.
52:20So I like this build and procedure, and I think that doing these reps has helped.
52:25I would say- L answers to Doom. Doom. You don't get that right.
52:29Very good, Chinser. Very good homework. I hope we answer that.
52:32A plus. I didn't know if there was- Yeah, his draft is next week.
52:36Yeah, so report back to us. What's that? Put it on the fridge?
52:40A plus, put it on the fridge. Yeah, I love it.
52:43All right, last one, and then we'll burn through some sleepers.
52:46This is D-D-Duck Mafia. What's up, Duck Mafia? Hey, gentlemen.
52:49I want to say that word before my three seconds is over.
52:52I'd like to thank both of you. This is my first time in here.
52:56And if you can't tell from the accent, once a pat, always a pat.
53:01You and Erickson, blood brothers here. All right, what you got, man?
53:04Okay, so we have a redraft every year. No, it's not a redraft.
53:08Different league, I'm sorry. We're in a league with two keepers, and my keepers this year are going to be Hampton in
53:14the third and Javante Williams in the sixth. I ended up getting lucky.
53:18In our league, if you are seventh to twelfth place, there's like a lottery, and whoever wins that lottery will go first.
53:24And that keeps everybody playing so nobody just ducks out and sells everything they have.
53:29My keeper league does something similar with the lottery.
53:31And I didn't used to like it, but this year I love it because I'm first and Gibbs is in there.
53:38And so just so both of you know, I asked Pat this question, and he had some colorful adjectives and said that's
53:44what I'd be if I didn't take Gibbs right out of the gate.
53:48Because I had Chase, and he told me to drop him.
53:51I'm like, I just got Chase. He goes, I don't care.
53:54Drop him and go and take Gibbs. Your running backs are all set.
53:58Then you can work from there. So my question to you is, in this particular league, I'm sorry for the pre-flow.
54:04I just wanted you guys to know that because in this league we have to take a rookie.
54:09Every year we have to take a brand new rookie.
54:12And my question to you guys is, knowing what I already have, what rookie would you guys consider me looking for and when in the draft?
54:20So you just have to take a rookie at any time?
54:23At any given time. That's correct. Yeah, you got to take Gibbs, by the way.
54:27I don't know. That's kind of a loaded question as far as like, it probably, obviously running back is good.
54:33So I don't think I'm going to sit here and tell you Jeremiah Love or even like the Jonah Coleman's of the world.
54:40Go ahead. No, I was going to say, this is a terrible rookie running back class in general.
54:45And Love is going to be the most expensive one.
54:48So I think given that you feel really good about your running backs anyway, probably don't need to draft a subpar rookie running back.
54:55So I think I think I think the play for me is true for.
54:59Is it Tyson? And you just hey, man, he's going to be cheap because he's injured right now.
55:04But if he comes back healthy, dude, like that guy could be a monster.
55:09Again, it's a total boomer bus type of play.
55:11But one that we can look at next year and be like, oh, my God, like you got Jordan Tyson for that.
55:18So that's kind of I don't know initially. So that's you know what is interesting about that is like if he's keeping
55:24was it Javante and Hampton remember who was Hampton?
55:27I was about to be like, is there really a scenario where well, guess what?
55:31If Tyson comes back and he balls and you got him in the like.
55:35Well, round, I can see a scenario where you dump back Javante and then you keep Hampton and you keep a absolutely late round Tyson.
55:42I actually really like that Tyson one. I'm indifferent about Tate.
55:46We are on different sides, but like John Stribling, you can just get I know he's going up higher, but maybe nearly you can get him later.
55:53I think the big focus here is wide receiver.
55:56Go for a rookie wide receiver. And I think Tate actually might be a super, super sneaky option like Erickson's talking about
56:02because there is a potential for a keeper, a true keeper there.
56:06The rest of the guys might have a much harder path and actually being kept.
56:10But I like that one. I like that one.
56:13So go for wide receiver. Very great questions. All of you guys rock.
56:17That leads us to the sleeper section of the episode.
56:20So again, top seven. We have all the pressure now to try to somehow get back into the top 10 so we can be on that article.
56:27And everyone's happy with us because we got tagged in it when we got it in fantasy pros and we're like, oh, yeah, we got there.
56:35Top five. How do we get back to top five?
56:38Top five. Let's talk through it. The fantasy pros sleeper ranks.
56:41How you guys end up seeing them is just in your draft boards.
56:45I think there's obviously like articles and stuff like that.
56:48But when you guys do mock drafts, you get the insights after and we have these consensus rankings of what the sleepers are.
56:55We are given the option. So you understand again, two quarterbacks.
56:58We can only pick two. And it is from a pool of quarterbacks.
57:02Four running backs, four wide receivers, two tight ends.
57:04There's also a defense. It is a very specific pool.
57:07One slight caveat to that, though, is if you are active on it, some players come in and out of that.
57:13I have a I'll give you an example. I have a wide receiver on my sleepers that is not available anymore because
57:20I was there early and this guy was available at one time.
57:23So we'll talk about that in here in a second.
57:26But let's go through it. Let's talk about our sleepers.
57:29And the first one we've already given away, we both have Kyler Murray on our quarterback.
57:34So with our sleeper quarterbacks, is he your number one or number two?
57:37He's number one. OK, number one for me, too.
57:40We both have Kyler. Anything you want any color?
57:43We don't want to go too crazy long on this, but any color you want to add, especially as him being the number one.
57:50I think we've talked about the rushing upside him with Jefferson.
57:53Like it just seems like he can step in and be a top 10 quarterback coming at the very back end of most drafts.
58:00And in some situations, not drafted at all. Betting on the environment being better for him, being in a non Arizona Cardinals
58:06organization, I think is going to do him well.
58:09And I just think there's no threats behind him anymore with McCarthy.
58:12Wentz, Wentz, maybe actually the backup. So he's got I mean, it's put up or shut up, right?
58:18Like he's got to deliver or else. Yeah. All right.
58:21Do you want to do court? You want you want it?
58:24Should we do all of them, by the way?
58:26I guess I didn't even ask you. Do we want to give away all of the?
58:31Yeah. Again, we don't have to dive deep into them and we can always resurface some of them when we talk next
58:37week as we kind of put like pen to paper and lock.
58:41I didn't even mean from a time perspective. I didn't know if you wanted to like we wanted to hide any of them.
58:48No, I get people got drafts. They got to know.
58:51So Malik Willis is my second quarterback. I was going to do like, let's do a one, two, three shoot and then say the name.
58:58I'm also Malik. So we're the exact same. Yeah.
59:01So Malik Willis is done. We had I had some interest.
59:04I want to give this stat. I just want to do this because I did research before the JJ episode on Fantasy
59:10Fest because I knew he had him as a sleeper.
59:13My favorite thing I pulled up and I actually use coach here in Fantasy Pros.
59:17Coach is in the corner bars of everything. It can help you in drafts, but you also can ask it questions.
59:24And I had it do. I mean, I led it to giving me information for the last 10 years.
59:29I had at least every quarterback that had 500 yards rushing or more and what their fantasy finish was.
59:3528 quarterbacks showed up. Only three of the 28 did not finish as a top 10 quarterback in fantasy.
59:40The average of all 28 combined was quarterback five.
59:43That's a good case. By the way, Fantasy Pros projections Malik Willis number two in rushing yards at quarterback at over 600.
59:49So that was one of the fun cases. So I think we agree on that.
59:54Let's go to running backs. This is going to be a much more open pool here.
59:58I bet we don't even have two of the same ones.
60:01Let's work down from four to one. Coming in at number four for you is.
60:06Hank Bigs Bay. Ooh, tanky. Is that based on injury or is that just based on usage?
60:11A mix. Tank Bigs was actually good last year when most of the Eagles offense was not good.
60:16And he plays behind an older running back. Where are we ranking tank Bigs?
60:20He's going to be ranked really, really high. So yeah, some of these running backs, you need an injury.
60:26Obviously, that's the best case scenario for tank Bigs.
60:28But the way they've been talking about him, like I think that he might have some type of role.
60:34So for me, that's why he's number four. Number four, I've got Mike Washington.
60:38I think that kind of speaks for itself. People might have him higher.
60:42There's a little I don't even think it has to necessarily injury based, but he might get some early production.
60:47So I got Mike Washington coming in at number three.
60:50You have Keith Mitchell. And I still don't know if I love this one or not.
60:55I just think that I have it at one time.
60:58I feel like he's going to be popular here and someone that I'm like toying with like, ah, I see the path.
61:04But then like he's already hurt. So that doesn't make me feel good.
61:08They like Vidal. So he's one that I struggle with.
61:11But honestly, I don't love a lot of the late round running back.
61:15So he kind of by default made my ranking.
61:17But I don't love him. I did have him at one point, but I did end up taking him off.
61:23My number three is Marshawn Lloyd. Marshawn Lloyd with the Josh Jacobs stuff, him getting run.
61:28I really like him. Number two for you. Yeah, Lloyd, if there was a fifth spot, Lloyd would be fifth for me.
61:34And he might be in my final list when I completely finalize everything.
61:38Number two is Jonah Coleman. Okay, well, very interesting.
61:41My number two is Braylon Allen. I think I get in fights with Bogman about it.
61:45Everybody thinks it's core Brees Hall. I'm just not sold on it.
61:49I think Braylon Allen is kind of a beast and might have some touch on equity.
61:54And my number one sleeper running back is Jonah Coleman.
61:57That is mine, actually. So it's funny that you say that because mine is Jonah Coleman at number one.
62:02Who's yours? I have Dylan Sampson as number one.
62:05I don't know if I do and I let him go.
62:08You let him go. I don't know if I let him go for my number one.
62:13I don't know if I love him as my number one, though.
62:16So I might just we might just hand I'm cool with handholding Jonah Coleman at number one a piece like that is
62:22that is the only one that we had an agreement on.
62:26So we agree. That's the only one that we had.
62:29Yeah. So that's a good one to be like our number one running back sleeper.
62:33The extra point will put become the new the new face of the show is Jonah Coleman.
62:38Kyler Murray's our extra point quarterback and Jonah Coleman's our running back.
62:41Jonah Coleman on the tailgate fantasy football team. Jonah Coleman.
62:44Oh, OK. You made the team. Hopefully be on mine.
62:47All right. Let's go to let's go to wide receiver coming in at number four for you is who?
62:53Trey Harris. I'm obsessed. So how is he forward?
62:55What are you talking about? How is because I'm trying to be realistic?
62:59All right. That's fair. Number four for me is tank Dell.
63:02I am a little bit worried about the booty, the booty coming in here.
63:06But I've been a tank Dell guy for months.
63:09And I think I think tank is just still a beast.
63:12And I think it might take a couple of weeks.
63:15But back half of the season, I just would not be surprised if tank starts kind of.
63:20These are our guys are true. I am a true.
63:23We don't care about anybody else. Like I'll go down with Trey Harris.
63:27Take me off of tank Dell. So I just got to do it.
63:31Number three coming in at number three for you.
63:33I'm struggling. Had to put him there. Oh, you dog.
63:36You lying liar. What do you mean? You can't.
63:39You're not allowed to have him. What do you mean?
63:42You're a hater. Get him off of your list.
63:44That's not allowed. I've been more positive about him.
63:47Again, he just has to be a sleeper. He doesn't necessarily need to meet his ADP.
63:52He just has to be a sleeper. He's a sleeper.
63:55So where's your number three? He just never didn't make your list at all.
63:59He did make my list. Okay. Yeah. I haven't gotten to him yet.
64:02Yeah. Okay. But I'm not shocked that he's on your list.
64:06Not on a list. I'm shocked he's on your list.
64:09I mean, again, like I'm playing and I'm playing the numbers here.
64:12It's him against a bunch of guys. I don't really necessarily love that much.
64:16Like, yeah. By the way, to give perspective, because I didn't do.
64:20Well, okay. Number three for me is Debo Samuel.
64:22Oh, so you did both 49ers receivers. I have both 49ers.
64:25You're hedging. Yeah. I am hedging a little bit.
64:28To get perspective of the players that are available on the wide receiver list and the running back, because I didn't do that.
64:35Running back kind of starts around Taj, Taj Spears, Keaton Mitchell, Tank, Charbonnet, Dylan Samson.
64:39Those are the top five available. And then it goes down from there.
64:43Wide receiver starts at Rashid Shahid down. Um, I have a player that would rank much higher, but I was earlier.
64:49That's going to come in in a tiny bit, but my number three is Debo Samuel.
64:54And I'll tell you right now, my number two is Dejan Stribbling.
64:57So I have Debo and Dejan. There's a tiny bit of a hedge, but at the same time, you know, Mike Evans, a little bit banged up.
65:05Debo's going to be used in a very specific way.
65:08And even in these weird ways last year, he was like a top 24 and a half PPR.
65:13He's got a lot of touchdown equity. I just, I find it hard to believe that Stribbling is not going to get
65:20targets, but I did have him at one. At one point, I took them off of number one.
65:25So I don't have him at one. Who is your two, uh, three and two?
65:29You said three was Stribbling. Stribbling is three. Yeah.
65:32Uh, two is Rashid Shahid. Yeah, so who's two?
65:35Rashid Shahid. So you went with the top guy.
65:37So coming in at number one, I don't think you're going to have my guy unless you put him on earlier.
65:43Cause he's, I don't think he's available anymore. I'm not sure.
65:46Maybe I'm not seeing it cause I have picked him.
65:49Who's your number one? Diggs. Oh, he is available then.
65:52I have stuff on Diggs as well. No, cause it's the same player pool for everybody.
65:57That's why like, for example, we can't take some players off sometimes.
66:00No, no, it doesn't. So for example, that's why Jordan Tyson's not available, even though he's now in that range because he
66:07was going too high when the sleeper rankings were first released.
66:10Cause they don't want to change the player pool.
66:13Cause that, again, that's like not fair. Cause everyone is.
66:16So there are some players that can't qualify as sleepers, but Diggs to me just feels kind of like he's the Keenan
66:22Allen pick from last year, which was like the best pick you could have made.
66:26So it's just kind of like rinse and repeat.
66:29Okay. So we've now got a consensus quarterback. Now you're going to join me in running back and we have Steph.
66:35I know this is a problem. We got Diggs and we have Stribbling.
66:39Let's just go to tight end. Then give me your top two on the tight end.
66:44We'll just be quick about that. Juwan Johnson and Greg Dulcich.
66:47You want to take a guess at what mine are?
66:50I mean, I can't remember if you like Dulcich or not.
66:53Is it? So it's the same players, Erickson. It's the exact same players.
66:57I have Dulcich at two and I have Juwan Johnson at one.
67:00Is that how you have it too? We got the all sleep routine.
67:04We got to make a graphic for this. Wow.
67:07Okay. Yeah. Let's get another face off type of branding.
67:10Yeah. We a hundred percent. We did not even talk about what our sleepers are.
67:14And I don't even think you can visibly see.
67:17I'm not sure if you can see them right now, but I had no idea.
67:21Very, very interesting that we have the same top at it.
67:24Well, we didn't at running back, but we are now, but those are all sleepers.
67:28Yeah. There you go. All right. All right. Defense though.
67:31I mean, this is like, if this matches, then all bets are off, but.
67:35All right. Who do you got? Lions. I had the Packers.
67:39We have the same division. All right. So some things change, but I guess our all team is Juwan Johnson, Diggs, Stripling, Jonah Coleman, and Kyler Murray.
67:47If you want to build a team, those are all sleeper teams there.
67:50You guys take that for whatever it is. We were top seven.
67:54We'll see if we even can be in the general range moving forward.
67:58All right. A little bit extra for you guys for this week, but you know, didn't record properly last week.
