Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury5:24

Derek Brown is highly skeptical of Alec Pierce's health, noting that despite being off the PUP list, his gait remains poor and he is clearly limping, suggesting he is not truly ready for full-speed NFL action.

Insight page
PositiveValue11:57

Erickson is willing to take a swing on Alec Pierce at his current ADP (WR40), viewing him as a bench player who will gain value as he gets closer to 100% health a month into the season.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveValue61:40

The source ranks Blake Corum well ahead of Jordan Mason, noting that the Rams are expected to be heavy favorites in most games, which should lead to significant rushing volume.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveSleeper43:50

Strange is highlighted as an interesting deep sleeper due to his fantastic per-route metrics; he could emerge as a top-12 tight end if volume opens up due to injuries.

Insight page

NegativeProjection39:21

The analysts acknowledge Dobbins' high productivity when on the field but express significant concern regarding his durability and injury history.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

Goff is targeted as a reliable quarterback option, with the analysts noting his consistent production and potential for 300-yard games.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveBreakout40:07

The analysts are high on Coleman as a target, viewing him as a good pick regardless of other roster moves and noting his potential role in an up-tempo offense.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveUsage8:49

Erickson projects a massive workload for Jonathan Taylor, potentially reaching 30 touches per game, as the Colts lack healthy depth behind him and will likely lean on him heavily to attack the Ravens' defense.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveBreakout60:35

The source is increasingly interested in Jordan Mason, citing the expectation that the Vikings will be a run-heavy team and expressing doubt regarding Aaron Jones' ability to stay healthy.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeInjury5:50

Derek Brown expresses significant concern regarding Josh Downs' inability to stay healthy, noting recurring issues with his groin and calf, and concludes he is not a player he feels good about drafting.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeValue7:26

Erickson views Keenan Allen as a viable depth piece for deep leagues due to his familiarity with Shane Steichen's offense, though he acknowledges the veteran carries significant injury risk.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

PositiveValue37:37

The analysts view Gainwell as a strong value pick, noting his versatility, standalone value, and contingent upside in the offense.

Insight page

Luke Musgrave

NegativeDepth Chart40:26

The source suggests that the Green Bay Packers' signing of Janu Smith is a negative indicator for Luke Musgrave's fantasy outlook, implying it signals a diminished role or lack of confidence in him.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveBreakout54:39

Willis is identified as a high-upside quarterback target to pair with a starter in a 16-team league format.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeBust3:41

The hosts explicitly state they are not drafting Mark Andrews, citing a negative experience during a previous 'fantasy fest' event.

Insight page
NegativeValue43:40

The source expresses skepticism toward Mark Andrews, noting that his touchdown over-under is lower than Zay Flowers' and stating a preference for Terrence Ferguson over him at the tight end position.

Insight page

Pat Bryant

PositiveSleeper61:13

Pat Bryant is highlighted as a preferred late-round receiver target due to his upside and potential to expand his role if Chris Godwin were to miss time.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveValue56:46

Mahomes is selected as a high-value quarterback option, with the analysts agreeing he is the correct pick given his availability and talent level.

Insight page
PositiveValue57:00

The source identifies Patrick Mahomes as a massive value in the 11th round (pick 165) of a 16-team draft, emphasizing that waiting on a quarterback is the optimal strategy.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveValue27:02

The hosts identify Puka Nacua as an 'auto-pick' if he falls to them at the 1.06 spot in their 16-team draft, which he ultimately does.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeBust70:35

The source expresses skepticism toward drafting Rashee Rice in a 16-team format, explicitly stating they would not draft him.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveValue61:08

The source identifies Rashad Bateman as a significant value pick, arguing that he will be used more effectively by Declan Doyle than he was under Todd Monken.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveBreakout48:42

The source identifies Rome Odunze as a top-tier wide receiver target, favoring him over other available options like Chris Godwin due to his upside, despite minor concerns regarding a foot injury.

Insight page

Ryan Flournoy

PositiveRole58:47

The source suggests Ryan Flournoy may have a larger role in the offense this season regardless of injury status to the primary receivers.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveRole57:42

The source highlights Terrence Ferguson as a key late-round tight end target who would see a major role boost if Puka Nacua were to miss time.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveValue33:56

The source identifies Travis Etienne as a key running back target during the middle rounds of their 16-team draft, specifically noting he is a preferred option to pair with Breece Hall.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

PositiveValue45:07

Allgeier is identified as a viable late-round target who could see significant opportunity if the starter struggles or misses time.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveValue3:30

Erickson expresses a strong preference for Zay Flowers, noting he is a priority target for their team, while the other hosts remain more skeptical.

Insight page
PositiveProjection43:57

The source is highly bullish on Zay Flowers, specifically projecting him to exceed 5.5 receiving touchdowns this season, calling it a "lock" and preferring him over Mark Andrews in touchdown-based bets.

0:04Available on Plus and Pro Plans. Hello everybody, welcome to the tailgate.
0:08I am Ryan Warmly joined today by Andrew Erickson and by Derek Brown.
0:11We are talking fantasy here. This is often a feed where we will talk about sort of the larger picture of the
0:18NFL and not always strictly fantasy as we do in the Fantasy Pros feed.
0:22But today it's draft season, right? This is the time that that's what people want to be talking about when they're thinking about the NFL.
0:29So we are telling you how to win your fantasy draft by doing a fantasy draft here.
0:34And we're going to have some fun with this.
0:36This is a 16 team real league that we are going to play out and discuss on this channel throughout the course
0:43of the season against real listeners that we got from our wonderful Discord community.
0:47And it is something that Erickson kind of put together here as an idea for the show.
0:51And we're going to talk through sharing a team with the three of us with a 30 second pick clock.
0:57So it's going to be some chaos here. Trying to agree to picks with very little time on the clock.
1:03We're going to have fun. This might be a disaster.
1:06It might be super awesome. We'll find out together.
1:08Erickson, this was your baby. Yes, it was. And I just cannot wait for all the Monday morning conversations we have talking,
1:15recapping all of the games between us three and recapping how our fantasy team did.
1:19Not just against the opponent, but against the league average, because that is one of the rules I implemented here using fan tracks as our platform of choice.
1:27But as we go through the draft, you guys will see we did sync it up with draft assistant.
1:32So using the fantasy pros tools to our advantage here, these guys have accessibility to the queue.
1:37So even though I am the final decision maker on actually who we draft, the queue is going to be filled with
1:43players that D-Bro and Worm are adding behind the scenes.
1:46So I have been known to timeout. Just ask Tom Strachan.
1:49That does happen to me on occasion when I'm doing these while recording.
1:53Oh, so what you're saying is that queue is very important.
1:56Yes. So if you guys want your guys, get them in the queue.
2:00Get them in the queue. Do we have a max number of Patriots and Ravens we're allowed to draft on this team?
2:06Because I feel like we need to set that limit right now.
2:10Well, you're going to have to be the tiebreaker on Zay Flowers, D-Bro, because Erickson likes him way more than I do.
2:16Oh, Zay Flowers. We're definitely it's auto drafting. Okay, got it.
2:19He's already in the queue. And we're definitely not drafting Mark Andrews.
2:22If anybody saw the fantasy fest, they already know what's up.
2:26Well, this is a 16 team league, so maybe we will be.
2:29Dude, we might draft Matthew Hibner, dude. Like we might have to.
2:32Hey! Hey, yeah! Well, before we get to the draft, which is going to start in roughly 10 minutes, see if we
2:39want to hit some news and notes as well.
2:41Really the biggest news of the day as of, you know, this Thursday morning when we're recording.
2:46Alec Pierce off the pup list, you know, going to try to ramp up and get ready for week one.
2:52Remains to be seen how that process will go.
2:54Josh Downs dealing with the calf issues. So sort of this receiver room as a whole is pretty interesting.
3:00They are facing the aforementioned Ravens, which I expect to be a pretty strong defense this season under Jesse Minter.
3:06So I'm really curious to see what that offense is going to look like week one.
3:10We might see a whole lot of Jonathan Taylor.
3:13I think we probably will. Um, Debro, what was your early reaction just to seeing that, you know, Pierce finally after, you
3:19know, months of surgery updates and, you know, videos of him limping is finally off the pup list.
3:24I think people are going to look at this as a much bigger positive than it actually is.
3:29Go to X, go watch the video of him walking across the practice field.
3:33His gate is horrible. Like he is limping. Don't watch his legs and stuff.
3:37Watch his shoulder level. Like he is giving every single time he uses that leg.
3:42And so we're expecting what he's going to be ready to play actual NFL games at full speed.
3:47In what kind of timeframe? I feel no better about Alec Pierce.
3:50Josh Downs is continually banged up. Like everybody makes their injury jokes about Christian Watson and Marshawn Lloyd and all these other people.
3:57The players, Josh Downs can't stay healthy either. People hate to tell you.
4:00So it's going to be them leaning on Tyler Warren and Keenan Allen.
4:04I don't feel good about either one of those players like Josh Downs continually, whether it's a groin, a calf, whatever, cannot stay healthy.
4:11So consider me very concerned. Erickson, do you think Keenan Allen is worth like a, you know, I'm not even saying as
4:17like a season long guy, but like, would you, should we draft him in this league?
4:22For example, with the idea of like, maybe we even sneak in an early season start as these other guys are getting ready to go.
4:29And you just kind of trust the veteran, even as a late signing to step in and be ready to go.
4:35Or is this truly like we're interested in Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren and pretty much nobody else as these guys finally
4:41kind of shake off the rust and get healthy.
4:44I mean, I think Keenan Allen does make a lot of sense in terms of being a depth piece in these leagues
4:50that you're going to have to draft so many players and you're starting so many different guys where, yeah, he's going to
4:56have usable weeks, especially early on in the season.
4:59But let's not pretend he's like a spring chicken.
5:01Like he has a lot of injury risk too, as an older wide receiver, but the fact that he is so familiar
5:08with Shane Steichen offense, Alec Pierce, I'm not as pessimistic as Debro is.
5:11This is technically his timeline, right? They said in March, four to six months, it's August.
5:16That's six months. So again, at the tail end of their projected timeline in terms of him coming back.
5:21Yeah, he's probably gonna be slow out of the gates.
5:24It's like we expect Daniel Jones probably be slow out of the gates coming off the Achilles injury.
5:29But to me, it just screams like, dude, Jonathan Taylor is going to get like 30 touches per game and they're going
5:36to just ride him as far as they can go.
5:39Like they did at the beginning of last year where he just sees, I mean, their backup running backs are injured, right?
5:45It looks like Seth McGowan is going to end up being the handcuffed running back to Jonathan Taylor because DJ Giddens can't stay healthy either.
5:52So I think it's really ride or die with JT.
5:55I think that they're going to attack that Ravens interior defense that we saw get eviscerated at times last year.
6:01We'll see with getting guys back if that Ravens defense has improved.
6:04But the Colts are going to test it out here in week one.
6:08The Minter-McDonald sort of defense that's taken from the NFL is willing to let teams run too.
6:13It's more designed around some of the past. So like even if the Ravens are healthier and like have a better front
6:19seven than they did last year, I still do think schematically Minter will be willing to let the Colts run.
6:25Now having said that, if Jonathan Taylor, they say, well, that's the only guy who can beat us, maybe they change things up there in week one.
6:32But yeah, I think pretty much at least for this first couple of weeks, you're staying away from any pass catcher not named Tyler Warren there.
6:40Just in terms of drafting him, because obviously we still have, you know, a little bit of time here for people to still have drafts.
6:47Is real-time ADP wide receiver 40 for Alec Pierce?
6:49Wide receiver 41 for Josh Downs. They're going back to back.
6:53Just a couple of picks a spot in the overall, a couple of spots apart in the overall.
6:58Debra, for you, like too high? Is that, I'm seeing you shake your head?
7:02Hell no. I'm not drafting either one of them.
7:04Because Keenan Allen is wide receiver 58 per real-time ADP.
7:07Make that make sense, guys. No, I'm not paying any type of premium for Josh Downs and Alec Pierce.
7:12No. Eric said for you, wide receiver 40 and 41, too high, too low, just right?
7:17I'll take the swing on Pierce at wide receiver 40.
7:20I mean, he was wide receiver 32 like a month ago, and he's just gone down because he just hasn't been practicing
7:26in the training camps because of his injury. Well, he's got one leg, too, that's like as thick as my pointer finger.
7:32He doesn't need to be ready in full 100% by week one.
7:36You're not going to be starting him anyway. So I think as a bench receiver that is going to eventually be put
7:42into this wide receiver one role, even if it's the number two pass catcher on the Colts offense, I think that Pierce's
7:48value is kind of intriguing where he's going. So I'll take the injury discount as a bench player that a month into
7:55the year, that's when he'll be closer to 100%.
7:57And then we'll see what we saw a little bit more of last year from him.
8:02Even if it's just a lot of spike weeks, like we know we can have big games.
8:07I mean, I don't think we should have been expecting Pierce to have been firing out of the gates anyway based on
8:13Daniel Jones coming off an Achilles injury. So that's another thing playing here.
8:17So I don't hate Pierce at wide receiver 40.
8:19Real quick on Alec Pierce, too. It's not only just the fact that he has like there are big incongruences like with
8:26his leg size, the atrophy of his calf and stuff like that.
8:29We've seen over years and years with multiple players and stuff.
8:32It's not just the recovery stuff I'm worried about.
8:35It's the compensatory injuries because of that imbalance that he can also have hamstring issues and other things during the season.
8:41That's why I'm just I'm staying away. Pierce was also playing through this injury the last two seasons.
8:46And this was then he finally said, OK, I'm going to get fixed up for the long term view.
8:51So clearly, I mean, he already shown the ability to play through this type of injury.
8:56So I get that you're concerned by looking at him and how he's walking.
9:00But this is something that he's dealt with and played through before and played at a pretty high level as he's led
9:06the NFL in yards per reception the last two seasons.
9:09So I'm a little bit more optimistic, even though I usually I even know I hate the Colts for the most part.
9:15That's what I was going to say. Aren't you a Colts hater and you're worried about it?
9:20This is just specific to this one player in his specific price.
9:24Because again, if he was like wide receiver 24, but like gross.
9:27But like that's where he finished last year. He's still too high though, dude.
9:31Like, do you want to take Alec Pierce or Josh Downs or Dejan Stribling?
9:35So you're saying he can't he can't be better than he was the last two seasons because he's been better than wide receiver 40 the last two seasons.
9:43That's exactly what I'm saying. I guess he's not somebody we'll be drafting in this draft.
9:47No, no, no. Should we all get like we get like one true veto?
9:51One veto. Yeah, yeah. Everyone gets one true veto.
9:54So do I use mine on a Patriots player or a Ravens player?
9:58I'm so conflicted. I'm using mine on Christian McCaffrey if you guys are going to push from it.
10:03I'm using mine on Mark Andrews. I'm not drafting himself.
10:06In a 16 team league, we're not drafting CMC.
10:08You're not wrong. You're not wrong. Not much else in the news and notes.
10:12I mean, Cedric Tillman released. I still remember that like three game stretch he had a couple of years ago where I was like, this is the next.
10:20The thing with Tillman was after they drafted Denzel Boston, they're like, yeah, we finally got this big body receiver that we
10:27haven't had on the offense for like years. And Cedric Tillman's like, have I already cut?
10:31Oh, God. It's the I think you should leave meme of him in the hat.
10:35Like, what the hell? Like, they're talking about me.
10:38Texans right tackle Braden Smith avoids major injury. That's just a good thing because obviously that offensive line has been really problematic in the past.
10:45And then we have like two minutes here before the draft starts.
10:49But I will just throw out the Pro Bowl is no more.
10:52There will still be Pro Bowl designations for players.
10:55This is news that came out yesterday. But the actual game itself will no longer be played.
10:59It's been a really interesting stretch the last like half decade or so of every major sports league trying to kind of
11:06like figure out what to do with their all-star weekend, their all-star game.
11:09Baseball is really the best because it's such an easy game to play without worrying about injury or overexerting yourself.
11:15Football, obviously, the hardest in that regard of avoiding injury.
11:18So Pro Bowl had become a real joke in recent years.
11:21I don't think anybody's going to miss the actual game.
11:24Erickson, what's your reaction to this? Good riddance. Hallelujah.
11:27Get rid of this pointless game that they were turning into a gimmick by transforming it into flag football.
11:32I remember they had the Deion Sanders, Jerry Rice drafts.
11:35It's lame. And it should not exist. Teams are way too preoccupied with trying to keep their guys healthy.
11:40And the Pro Bowl was just inviting bad things.
11:43And it was just turning into an absolute joke.
11:45So I get that they have to keep it around because of the accolades and it's in player contracts.
11:51I mean, what? Wasn't Shadir Sanders a Pro Bowler last year?
11:54Yes. Yeah. It just turned into a total joke.
11:57Tyler Huntley has been a Pro Bowler. If they got rid of it altogether and just make it about the All Pros, right?
12:03That's another thing that we voted for. And it seems like it's much more accurate in terms of capturing the actual best
12:09players and who should be rewarded for each position.
12:12You're an All Pro at tight end, receiver, etc.
12:15But All Pros voted on by the media. I do think it's nice that fans can give their vote.
12:20So then we should have a fantasy – there should be a fantasy football award in the real NFL voted by the fans of fantasy.
12:27Like, that should exist. Because the thing about Pro Bowl designations now, if there's no game, is there's not going to be
12:33people like – it's just whoever gets voted in there.
12:36It's not going to be like, oh, I'm not going to play in this game, so now we need a third alternate.
12:42That's how, like, the Tyler Huntleys and the Shudder Sanderses become Pro Bowlers.
12:46And this, it'll still – it'll now just be the guys that were voted in, which I do think is a little bit better.
12:53No, I think that that just goes back to whoever's gotten voted into the Pro Bowl still doesn't get off of there off of merit.
13:00And because of their performance, it goes back to the size of the – No, it goes back to the size of
13:06the fan bases and how much they vote for the players.
13:10It's still garbage. Get rid of all the Pro Bowl crap.
13:13Get it out of it. Bye. Gone. Forever. Don't care.
13:16Haven't cared for at least 15 years. Expand the All Pros.
13:19Like, yes, that is the answer. All right. Okay.
13:21Our draft is starting. Yeah, draft's getting going here.
13:24Let me just let everybody know as the draft gets going that if you want to win a LaDainian Tomlinson signed jersey, this is your shot.

14:04You know when people try on new food and suddenly it's like, wait.
14:08That's the reaction a lot of people are having when they first try Kewpie mayo.
14:12It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle.
14:16You've probably seen it in the grocery store before.
14:19And if you've ever just walked past it, some people would say that's a huge mistake.
14:24Because this mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs.
14:26Kewpie only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor.
14:30It's smoother, deeper, and almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything.
14:34Egg sandwiches, fries, burgers. Some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it.
14:38And once you notice it, you start seeing it everywhere.
14:41Chefs use it. Restaurants use it. People who really care about flavor use it.
14:45Never tried it? Grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're at the store.
14:50Put it on just about anything. Then you'll understand.
14:52Kewpie, the original Japanese mayonnaise. When one person serves, the whole family supports the mission.

15:15ChatGPT can do more than answer questions. It can help you get real work done.
15:19ChatGPT work is built for bigger projects with multiple steps.
15:22You bring the goal along with the information it needs, like briefs, notes, files, feedback, calendars, data sets, or project plans.
15:28Then, ChatGPT can help turn all of that into something useful.
15:31An analysis. A tracker. A deck outline. A prototype.
15:34Or a workflow you can keep shaping. It can also use approved apps, connected tools, files, and browser contexts to help move the work forward.
15:41And you stay in control. You give direction, review drafts, approve actions, redirect the work, and choose the final output.
15:47So you spend less time sorting through busy work and more time making progress on the work that matters.

15:59Let's get going here. Four picks already in. Gibbs, Bijan, Jamar Chase, Jackson Smith, and Jigba.
16:04Guys, we are one pick away. Who are we looking at at 106?
16:08My early inclination is to push for a running back, just given that I think it's a pretty weak position, and especially in a big league like this.
16:16However, I don't know if there's a guy we're all going to agree on.
16:20What are you guys thinking? Puka, Amonra, and James Cook, top of my queue.
16:24Puka. Go big or go home, baby. If Puka falls to us, I feel like he's an auto pick, man.
16:29He's there. He's there. We got him. Done. Puka.
16:32Yeah, they went home on Raw next was the next pick.
16:35Puka, I'm okay with that. I didn't think he was going to be there.
16:39All right. I do definitely think we should target a running back next time around.
16:43A 16-team league. Agree. Actually, let's get into that as you kind of wait for some other piece of my words.
16:49There's going to be none left. Word, Jonathan Taylor, who's next?
16:53Well, yeah, that's kind of my concern. What is your strategy, and how does it differ, Debro, in a 16-team league versus a more standard 10-team league?
17:0012-team. I think we kind of touched on this a little bit earlier when we were just kind of waxing poetic about
17:07players and cults and what have you. I feel like in these deeper leagues, you have to sacrifice somewhere.
17:12I'm sacrificing a quarterback and tight end. That's where I think we should sacrifice at.
17:16You push those two onesie positions down the board.
17:19We cobble together those rooms, and we hammer running back and wide receiver.
17:23But that's my two cents. The format is one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, two flexes, DST,
17:29no kickers, five bench spots, 16 teams, half PPR.
17:31The special rules, because you can do that on fan track, which is really cool.
17:36If you lose a fumble, it's minus four points because we do not tolerate putting the ball on the ground.
17:41So we're not drafting Basial Tootin. Got it. Or Ramondre Stevenson.
17:45We don't mess around with that stuff. If you fumble, you're going to the bench.
17:49Just pull up the fumble leaders of last year and just make our do not draft list from it.
17:54And then you also have the bonuses that I threw in.
17:57So you get three points if you go for 300 passing yards.
18:01You get three points if you go for 100 receiving yards.
18:04Oh, so you got like DK style bonuses in this.
18:07Yeah, yeah. So like having a little fun here.
18:09What's the quarterback touchdown interception? Is it like four minus two?
18:12Is it six? Four passing touchdown. And minus two for an interception?
18:16Just minus one. Interceptions aren't quarterback's faults all the time.
18:19But fumbles, like that's on you. That's fair. Like that's why you're going to pay the price.
18:24Minus four. You're lucky I didn't make it more.
18:26I'll give a quick recap of the first round.
18:29I'm not going to do this for every round because there's 16 picks a round.
18:33But just to give everybody a sense of how this first round is going.
18:37Gibbs, Bijan, Chase, JSN, Aminra St. Brown, Puka Nakua, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, Justin Jefferson, Christian McCaffrey.
18:42That's the top ten. Then we have CeeDee Lamb, Chase Brown, Marion Hampton, Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown, and Kenneth Walker is the final pick of round one.
18:50So that is what the round one has looked like in this 16 team league.
18:54Now, guys, as we wait for our next pick to come back to us, we talked a little bit about throwing out
19:00the possibility of some kind of punishment. Not for the entire league, but since it's sort of everybody trying to beat the
19:06super team, the Avengers of the tailgate crew here working together.
19:10Do we want to offer a punishment if we, let's say, miss the playoffs?
19:14Or finishing last is going to be too hard because there's 16 teams.
19:17But if we miss the playoffs, should we do something for the fans?
19:21What if we actually do finish 16th? That'd be bad.
19:24Let's have a miss the playoffs punishment and a finish 16th punishment.
19:27Yes, I would agree. I think there should be a caveat.
19:30If we actually do finish 16th, then we have to do something very, very horrible.
19:35But I agree. If we miss the playoffs, six teams make the playoffs here.
19:39So we're not doing the BS. Oh, yeah, half the teams make it in the playoffs.
19:43No, no, no. Again, this isn't a super, super fun in terms of – no, we're playing some by-the-rules here.
19:49So I don't know exactly what we want to do.
19:52Do we want to do a tailgate show with the three of us in those loser singlets from Trophy Smack?
19:58We could. We could. We would just look like a high school wrestling team talking about football.
20:02I'm not opposed to that. Let's think through some options here.
20:06People really want us to eat things like spicy food or just like bad food.
20:10I really do not handle spicy food well. I can't do it.
20:13My inability to smell has ruined hot food for me.
20:16You said you will drink an IPA. I'll drink an IPA for the people.
20:20Okay. We're up here in a second. Where do y'all think we should go with this?
20:25I'm kind of feeling like do we pull two running backs up the board?
20:29Well, I was going to say the running backs are so taken off the board already.
20:33Yeah. Are they? I feel pretty good about these running backs.
20:36Like we still got Brees, Javante, Travis Ech here.
20:39That's what I was thinking. I don't mind doing a double tap of some RV action here.
20:44Either we go running back, running back, especially in this format where you only have to start two wide receivers in this that Erickson made.
20:51That's true. And we already had Puka. I was saying Nico.
20:54He just went here. A couple picks was before us.
20:57So the other receiver options. And I think we're all in agreement not taking like Trady Bright or Josh Allen.
21:03We're on. We're all in agreement on that. So it's Pickens, Devontae Smith, Rasheed Rice, Garrett Wilson, Zay Flowers, Jalen Waddell.
21:09These are like the receivers that are at the top of the board in the fantasy pros rankings.
21:14Running back is Brees Hall, Jeremiah Love, Kyron. Maybe interesting in this format with just a little bit of stability there.
21:20I'm on the clock. Zay does go here. I would push.
21:23I want Brees. I mean, I don't want to take Brees.
21:26I want to take Pickens. You want to take Pickens?
21:29Pickens feels like the value pick here. We're going to be struggling at RB2 if we don't double tap running backs.
21:35Dude, we can get A-chan on the way back.
21:37We can get A-chan on the way back. Or Zay.
21:40A-chan? Where are you seeing Devon A-chan? Travis. Oh, Travis E-chan.
21:43Okay. Yeah. I'm okay. And then what are we doing for RB2?
21:47A 16-teamer? I mean, everybody's going to be hurt somewhere in a 16-teamer.
21:51That, to me, is like everybody's going to be hurting.
21:53I don't disagree. Zay Flowers already went at 210.
21:56Yeah, he went right before us. Because they knew you guys were on this team.
22:00We can go with Brees. We can get A-chan.
22:03So, like, those are two running backs. We could even get, like, Swift.
22:07I think we're about to get crushed at this turn.
22:09I think we're about... These two teams behind us have...
22:12Everybody behind us has only one running back to this point.
22:15I think it's going to go running... Maybe I'm wrong.
22:18We'll see. Maybe Smith goes with the next pick.
22:21So, that's a receiver that helps us. Put your guys in the queue, then.
22:25I'm sorry, Erickson. Did you say this is half PPR?
22:28I forgot. Yes. It's half PPR. Half. Okay. Okay.
22:30Kyron goes there. I don't want Kyron. That's fine.
22:33Are we interested, like, middle of round three in a league this size in the injury risk of Jeremiah Love?
22:39Like, just in it to win it, swing big?
22:41Or no? No. I don't want Jeremiah Love. I mean, if he's the only running back left...
22:46I was going to say, like, if... The worst.
22:49If we're done, then maybe we don't have a choice.
22:51So, we agree. So, A-Chan, though, is like the dream pick if he falls.
22:55Right? I like A-Chan. I know he's going to add to the queue.
22:59I mean, I want a briefs and A-Chan. Yeah.
23:02I'm the one of those guys. We just need one of them there.
23:05I mean, Swift is fine. They're in the queue.
23:08Clearly, it has to be a running back, even if we're reaching.
23:11No doubt. Yeah. But so far, I mean, we're getting a little lucky here.
23:15I think... I think this will be coming back on the turn.
23:19Yeah, see? There's been only one running back that went.
23:22It was Kyron. And then these guys already have running backs.
23:25There are still... Okay. I think this turn is going to hurt us, but we'll see.
23:29Maybe I'm wrong. There are still five picks to go.
23:32Yeah. I mean, you could be right, but... Priest, Jacobs, A-Chan.
23:35If it's not Travis, who is our favorite running back?
23:38Like... So, I go Hall, A-Chan, Love, Swift. Not...
23:41You don't want Jacobs? No, I don't want... I'm not drafting Jacobs in a 16-teamer.
23:45We will be screwed. This... Yeah, I don't... I don't want Jacobs.
23:48Not unless we're prepared to take Marshawn Lloyd, like, two rounds ahead ADP.
23:52Not fighting him. No. No. I mean, I... Again, I didn't...
23:55Look, so only one running back is gone since we drafted Pickens.
23:59I thought Pickens fell. I get that he's not, like, perfect.
24:02But... I mean, to get him... We'll save A-Chan Falls.
24:05Yeah, I mean, it's like... That's like, what, the 27th pick?
24:08What are you talking about, A-Chan? I'm like, dude, A-Chan, man.
24:11You're A-Chan, baby. I say it differently than everybody else.
24:14So... Than the way he asked us. That's why I was like...
24:17So you say it wrong. So incorrect. No, I say it correct.
24:21RCR not fluent in Cajun. It's not my fault.
24:23Did you guys see the news update on the Green Bay Packers?
24:27They signed Janu Smith. Oh. Are you in again this year, Erickson?
24:30I think it's kind of interesting. I mean, I just think that that tells you everything you need to know about Luke Musgrave.
24:37Two picks away. I actually agree with that. Two picks away and Love and A-Chan are still there.
24:42Come on. Come on, baby. Let's go. And now to...
24:45So what if Love and A-Chan will be there?
24:47Are we in agreement on A-Chan over Love just in a 16-team?
24:51Yes. Come on. A-Chan or David Montgomery. Come on.
24:53Dungeons and Dragons don't do it to us. Watch.
24:56Let's see it. You're going to be prepared for pain.
24:59I'm nervous about that. Prepared for pain. Watch. Oh!
25:01Let's go! You're seeing it before we are. I know.
25:04I was like, I'm not seeing anything yet. Let's go.
25:07Lock it in. There we go. Okay. Travis A-Chan.
25:10I'm going to veto A-Chan here. No, I'm just kidding.
25:12Travis A-Chan. So Puka, Pickens. I got you. He had a pretty good running back, I think.
25:17I mean, I think this is pretty good. Okay.
25:20My problem was not that. My problem is what the heck are we going to do at RB2?
25:25Because I feel like it is going to get wiped out before he's back to us.
25:30Oh, we'll see. I mean, we could. We'll see.
25:32Maybe. We'll see. I just, I worry. It is a lot lighter with Ramondre Stevenson completely off the board.
25:38So we'll see who is actually available. Ramondre Stevenson?
25:40Oh, you're vetoing him. No, no. He's talking about the fumbling.
25:43He's back to the fumbling. Yes. Oh, yeah. No, he's a...
25:46You took him off the board with these scoring settings, Aaron.
25:50Henry got drafted. I can't believe Derek Henry got drafted off of all his fumble last year.
25:54Jeez. Josh Allen goes here in the middle of round three in a 16-team league.
25:59Interesting pick there. We do have the top three tight ends are already all off the board.
26:04Two of them go in round two. And then Loveland goes with the first pick of round three.
26:09That's fine. We got to punt. We got to punt those.
26:12Yeah, I'm punting tight end in the quarterbacks. 16-team.
26:14We all have late-round picks we like there. We can easily just take, like, Mark Andrews and be fine.
26:20I know we all agree. No. Dude, I would rather...
26:23I'd rather have Terrence Ferguson than Mark Andrews. Mark Andrews is over-under on touchdowns this year is higher than Zay Flowers.
26:29And you just are sticking... Okay, all you're just doing is laying out that Vegas is wrong.
26:33So... Dude, I'm doing... I'm filming a social short later today.
26:37Number one, Zay Flowers over five and a half receiving touchdowns.
26:40Lock. Lock. Lock. We still need to come up with that bet, too.
26:43Our head-to-head Zay Flowers-Andrews touchdown bet. I mean, we can...
26:46I can just bet with you instead of paying the rake out of Sportsbook.
26:50That's what we want to do instead. Yeah. I agree with that.
26:54I agree with that. Just take the action. Yeah.
26:56Like, I can just, like, give you the money.
26:59Or I can just hold the money and just give it to you at the end of the season.
27:04Worm has become a bookie. It's his other job.
27:07Some of the recent picks here. Tadaro McMillan, Emeka Ibuka, DeAndre Swift, Rasheed Rice, David Montgomery, Cam Scatter, Vlad McConkie, Tyler Warren.
27:13Oh, sorry. I didn't... He was a late addition.
27:16You got Grimm in this league? It's gonna be nothing but pain.
27:19I mean, look at who he's drafted already. Chase Brown and David Montgomery.
27:23Dude, he's going zero wide receiver, Bill. Zero wide receivers.
27:26You gotta sacrifice somewhere. More... Dude, more running backs means more fumbles.
27:29Just saying. If you're gonna go zero RB, this is the draft to do it, Don.
27:34Well, we didn't go zero RB, so, you know.
27:36I know. That's a good point. I mean, A-chan, he's not gonna put the ball on the turf.
27:41He's... I hope not. Is there a plan with the next pick just BPA?
27:45I kind of think it should be, because we have a flex spot we can throw a receiver in.
27:51Yeah. I think it's... Exactly. You got two flex...
27:53There's two flex spots. All right. It's two. So we're getting a lot of green.
27:58We're getting a lot of green. Two running backs.
28:00Oh, if I'd known there was two flex spots, I would have said we should have waited another round on running back.
28:07Well, I'm glad you didn't know that. I'm just kidding.
28:09No. I like that we got A-chan where we did.
28:12I know. I know. I'm just kidding. I think we take the swing on Basial Toot and Erjadarian Price if they fall to us at RB2.
28:20What are y'all's thoughts here? I'd rather go... I like a Dunze a lot.
28:24Upside, so you got J-Mo. Those are kind of the two that stand out to me.
28:28I look at this as a flat tier of wide receivers, and a lot of the guys we really like are getting crushed right now.
28:35Parker Washington, Christian Watson just go... Well, that's what I'm saying.
28:39I actually don't see it as that flat a tier at receiver.
28:42I feel like... Don't? I feel like a Dunze, Jameson Williams, and then Cardinal Tater are my three favorite left, and then it's like...
28:49I think it gets ugly at receiver kind of quick.
28:52Well, who... So, okay. So, like, who's more likely to fall back?
28:55To me, running back feels flat. What's more likely to fall back to us, then, based on the board here?
29:01A wide receiver. Running back or receiver. You think receiver?
29:04I think the receivers are going to go here next is my guess.
29:07I could be wrong. Two of the teams around the turn already have two wide receivers.
29:12Yeah, but some of them have two running backs already, too.
29:15I mean, if Price goes right here, then I'm fine just punting.
29:18Running back. But, like, if Price is here, I think you take him.
29:22If it were me, this pick would be a Dunze because I really like him.
29:26I'm also open to Jameson Williams at receiver. Running back is, like...
29:30I don't know. I mean, like... I'm cool with a Dunze.
29:33Like, to me, a Dunze is the best player.
29:36I worry about his foot. There goes JMO. All right, then.
29:39Who do you want to get a receiver if you don't want a Dunze?
29:43If you don't want a Dunze, who do you want, then, D-Bro?
29:46We are up, and Ramondre just went... I want Jadarian Price.
29:49But, like, if we're going wide receiver, I guess it's Carnell Tate or Chris Godwin for me.
29:54Oh, see, I like a Dunze way better. Godwin will be available later.
29:58Okay, well... I would go a Dunze or Price would be what I would pick between.
30:02My vote would be a Dunze. I'm open to whatever you decide.
30:06I just feel like... It's either Price or Jonathan Brooks.
30:09You take him here. One of those two because he's not going to come back to us.
30:14Jonathan Brooks will not come back to us. So if you want him, you take...
30:18Okay. Who would we take? Oh, we took a Dunze.
30:21Okay. So the running backs that were tying... Price is in the queue.
30:24Back. Price. Tate's in the queue. Henderson's in the queue.
30:27Do we like one of the Steelers running backs if they get back to us?
30:32I mean, Rico. He gets back. I mean, fine.
30:34See, Jonathan Brooks gone. Price is still available. He's still on the board.
30:38Quenchant Judkins gone. Yeah. We didn't want him anyway.
30:40Again, we only have to start two running backs.
30:43Yeah. We only have to start two wide receivers, too.
30:46Yeah. There's Price. I do feel like Erickson and I may be bullied.
30:50Nobody's listening to me. DeBrow do a couple of these receiver picks.
30:53Just saying. It worked the last time where we got HN back to us.
30:57And it did not work here. It didn't work this time.
31:00So, yeah. I mean, like I said, Henderson is still there.
31:03Warren Pollard, Dowdle, RJ Harvey. These are the top names in ECR right now at running back.
31:08I mean, again, everybody's going to be hurting somewhere.
31:11This is the nature of a 16-team league. We're not going to have, like, a perfect team.
31:16So. I mean, I feel like at this point, we just take another wide receiver.
31:20Because all these running backs, like. Lean into it.
31:22Yeah. I mean, at this point, like, we just lean into a hero build and say, we'll figure RB2 the hell out.
31:29We just take a crap ton of handcuffs. I mean, at this point.
31:32Henderson is still available. Okay. So, he's a pricing handcuff.
31:35He's not going to be the starter. Why are we taking Henderson?
31:39Because he makes big plays. And he's not the starter.
31:42Well, there's not really. You've already talked about this whole entire offseason.
31:45Mandre is the starter. Okay. But we're getting him.
31:48Yeah, but we're not paying, like, that much for him.
31:50We are. Nobody here is, like, a true, besides, like, Tony Pollard, is, like, a real guaranteed starter left.
31:56So, any running back we take is going to be in that bucket.
31:59Like, I don't see a big difference between Travion Henderson and Jordan Mason at this point.
32:04So, why don't we just take another wide receiver if we're going to do that?
32:08Like, with this team, though, we are a huge difference between.
32:11I mean, I'll take Mike Evans, dude. It's either him or Evan.
32:15Like, I feel like Evans, if we want to win from the flex with this build with four wide receivers and we're starting, you take Mike Evans.
32:23I feel like that's embracing the risk in the upside.
32:25I'm cool with Mike Evans. Oh, and he goes right before us.
32:29Chris Godwin would be my vote. I would be fine with Henderson.
32:32It sounds like Debra doesn't want it. We bullied you, so.
32:35Yeah, yeah. I like Henderson, too. I just feel like with this team build, like, we've already kind of gone with hero RBs.
32:42So, like, we're just going to chase RB2 up the board.
32:45I don't think it's worth doing it now. Yeah, I'm just less interested in Godwin generally.
32:50You want Godwin? But I'm totally fine doing it.
32:52Yeah, he's 120 targets. Yeah, I'm okay with it.
32:55Because I feel like at this point, probably with the way the team builds are, we can get one of, like, Kenneth Gainwell, Rashad White, J.K.
33:02Dobbins, Jordan Mason. And then, like, one of those guys will fall back to us at that point, probably with the way that these team builds.
33:10Because the other side of the board, every other team behind us has at least, most of these teams have two, if not three running backs behind us.
33:18Like, only. I mean, one of them has nine.
33:20And they're going to be racking up negative points weekly because of all their fumbles.
33:25So, just to recap our five picks so far.
33:27Puka Nakua, George Pickens, Travis HN, Roma Dunes, Chris Godwin.
33:30Very receiver heavy. But we can start all of them because we have two flexes here.
33:35Just to recap some of the other positions off the board so far.
33:38Quarterback are Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Drake May, and Joe Burrow.
33:41Off the board at tight end are Brock Bowers, Trey McBride, Colston Loveland, Tyler Warren, and Tucker Craft.
33:47And then, of course, a bunch of running backs and receivers off the board so far.
33:51Trayvon Henderson goes here. The 5'11". Quentin Johnson goes here.
33:54With the 5'12". Yeah. We still got some running backs.
33:57So, we got, like, Jordan Mason is still available.
33:59Dobbins is still available. Like, there's some running backs that we can – Harvey's available.
34:04I mean, all the Broncos running backs are available.
34:06So, yeah, we can piecemeal an RB2 spot here.
34:09Let me ask a strategy question here for you guys.
34:12When you are playing in a league like this where you have some of those scoring bonuses, are you thinking about that
34:18with big plays and, you know, big games? Like, are you thinking about, oh, 100-yard, extra three points, stuff like that?
34:24Or are you not really paying close attention to that?
34:27No, because I think that the onus is still draft good players that get volume and good players that put up stats.
34:33So, like, if that's the main – if that's the sauce, it stays the sauce.
34:37Okay. Well, I think it's just for me, it helps kind of separate, like, the players that can do well in fantasy
34:44that aren't really good real-life players versus – because the best players are getting further rewarded for being the best players.
34:50So, I think that's something to keep in mind, especially in the later rounds where it's like, hey, maybe this guy's situation
34:56is kind of, like, not the best in terms of, like, where he is in the pecking order or the team environment.
35:02But if we know that the player's really good and when he does have opportunities, you know he's going to smash, then
35:08he can fully take advantage of, oh, well, if this guy does get to start a game, like, yeah, I could see
35:15him going over 100 yards or a quarterback passing for 300 yards.
35:18Again, that's just another reason why going to late-round quarterback here is awesome because we know that either it's a mobile guy
35:24or a guy that throws for 300 yards consistently, they're going to get even more points, especially in half PPR overall.
35:30I was just going to say, when you say late-round quarterback Erickson, are you thinking, like, I know the guys you've generally
35:37been targeting have been Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert, Caleb Williams, are you thinking about that as late-round, like, you're just outside the
35:43top, you know, clear-cut top six or so? Or are you thinking, like, for this draft in particular, you want to go,
35:49like, Goff or Willis or somebody that's really going later?
35:52Dude, I mean, I think that's honestly where I would probably go more in.
35:56Because, again, like, you lock in, you get Goff and Love.
35:59Goff and Kyler. Like, there's, like, two guys that you can piecemeal together what you want to do at quarterback each and every week.
36:06Just because you're sacrificing so much. So, in a 16-team league, what rounds is that, are you thinking?
36:11Is it, like, 8-9? I think it's going to be dependent upon every league's going to be different.
36:16I think we kind of read the board and let, like...
36:20There are six off the board so far. But we start considering it once, like, 11 or 12 quarterbacks go off the board.
36:26And see how the board plays out. I didn't want to, like, you know, steer the ship or take it somewhere different here.
36:33But, like, I've been kind of workshopping this take.
36:35I want to... I'm curious what y'all think. I'm getting more and more interested in Jordan Mason because I think the Vikings
36:42are going to be a run-heavy team this year.
36:44And I don't trust Jordan... I don't trust Aaron Jones to stay healthy.
36:48Like, I think the Vikings might be, like, a top-five rushing-rate team this year.
36:52What do y'all think about Jordan Mason? I want to go either...
36:55I want a running back here, and I either want Blake Coram or Jordan Mason.
37:00I have Coram well ahead of Mason, personally. Is that just, like, straight-up hand-cut value?
37:04Because, like... The Rams are going to be the heavy favorites in every game they play this season.
37:09I think he's going to run the ball a ton.
37:12But what's his upside if Kyron stays healthy? It doesn't matter.
37:15It doesn't matter. Oh, he's off the board. It doesn't matter he got taken.
37:19He's off the board. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
37:22It's like he's already dead. Yay! I would have lost the battle anyway.
37:25Jordan Mason is the pick. I'm fine. I'm glad he got drafted.
37:29Is that cool? Okay, we can do Mason. Jordan Mason?
37:32Yeah. Mason, Gainwell, Bill, one of those guys. Yeah.
37:34I probably prefer Gainwell, but I know Debra likes Mason.
37:37I'm fine with it. We might be able to get Gainwell around the...
37:41I don't see a big gap between them. Do y'all want to go another running back around the turn?
37:46Since we only have two? We don't have to go running back again.
37:50We have two running backs, so... We basically have our starting lineup minus the onesie positions.
37:55Yeah. Which I'm cool to continue to punt. Yeah.
37:57I mean, honestly, I would consider Fannin if he came back around just because he's the last of that top seven or
38:03eight tight ends that I do think there's a gap.
38:06I'm not pounding the table for it. I'm just saying he's somebody I would consider.
38:11I mean, we could say, like, would we rather take a guy who's going to be on the bench for us and just have more bench options?
38:18Or would we rather take... Like, I do love Herbert, right?
38:21And this late in a 16-team league, I wouldn't be opposed to it either.
38:25Like, dipping into the onesies. I'm not... Again, I'm not pounding the table for it, but I'm also not opposed to it
38:32if we don't like the other options at running back and receiver.
38:35I don't want to go onesie position right here.
38:38Okay. I think Wandale is going to catch a ton of passes, honestly.
38:41Like, Brian Dayball bringing him in and, like... But it's half point, so...
38:45That's true, but it's still kind of... It's not standard.
38:48Empty calories. So, okay, so skill position players, who are you pounding the table for?
38:52Like, that's kind of what I want to know.
38:55Because, again, if there's no one... It's game well for me.
38:58I'm saying, where if you, like... If you don't like anybody and you're like, okay, I'll take the quarterback I really like, I'm cool with that.
39:05But, okay, so you like Gainwell. I'm cool with Gainwell.
39:08Worm, do you have someone that you want to pound the table for at a skill position that's not quarterback or tight end?
39:15I am okay with Gainwell. I would not fight that.
39:18My, like... Again, I'm not pounding the table. My, like...
39:21I mean, honestly, like, I know he's going to get hurt.
39:24J.K. Dobbins, I think, is going to be productive until he gets hurt.
39:27But, then why don't we just, if we're expecting that, then just take Jonah Coleman later.
39:32I mean, I think we can do both. I wouldn't be opposed to taking Dobbins and Coleman, honestly.
39:37I did have Kevin Concepcion in the queue. I would have been okay with Concepcion, honestly.
39:42Yeah, I think... I mean, Jordan Addison, I don't love, but I'm just like...
39:46I think he's a talented player. I think my vote would be Gainwell or Dobbins here.
39:50If we're not going tight end or quarterback. Yeah, I'm fine with that.
39:54Like, I think it's Gainwell with Dobbins, and if we get Dobbins, try to get Jonah Coleman, or even try to get Jonah Coleman later.
40:01I just look at the wide receivers here. I want to go after Coleman regardless of whether we get Dobbins or not.
40:07I think he's a good pick anyway. No, I agree with that.
40:11I just look at the wide receivers here, and I'm like, I like Dobbs, I like Jalen Coker, but I feel like
40:17we could punt that and get, like, you know, a Dontavian Wicks later, or a Kayshawn Booty, or something like that.
40:23Like, I feel like you can get similar production of those guys.
40:26I would lean running back over a receiver. For me, if it was just me drafting, it would probably be Fanon.
40:32I'm not going to push it. I know you guys don't want to go onesie, so in that case, I say it's one of the two running backs.
40:40I just think Gainwell or Dobbins, I'm fine with either.
40:43You want Dobbins? I thought you wanted Gainwell. Oh, no, I'm fine with either.
40:47Like, Gainwell's my pick. I'm fine with either, too.
40:50Straight up Gainwell. I get slightly to Dobbins, but I don't feel strongly.
40:54I'm totally fine with Gainwell, if that's what you guys want.
40:57Dude, Dobbins can trust Bucky to stay healthy. Every single year.
41:00But he's every single year. I don't trust Bucky to stay healthy.
41:03Do not. Yeah, I don't think he's going to stay healthy the whole season.
41:07I think he's going to be real productive when he's on the field.
41:11He was the number one guy last year. I don't think Colton Coleman's going to use him.
41:16So you're just making the case to draft Jonah Coleman.
41:19Dobbins was the number one guy last year until getting hurt.
41:22I think when he's on the field, he's going to still be the number one guy.
41:26But I still do want Coleman. Again, even though we didn't take Dobbins, I'm definitely on board with him.
41:32Yeah, no, I think Gainwell gives us a lot more versatility, I think, because he could have a really dynamic role.
41:38We get standalone value and we have contingent upside.
41:40Again, I was not fighting against Gainwell. I'm just making the case for why I liked Dobbins.
41:45But I'm super on board with Gainwell. I think that Dobbins...
41:48I mean, Dobbins also benefited from the Broncos having a really easy schedule the beginning of last year.
41:54And then when the schedule got tough, he got hurt.
41:56So RJ Harvey was the one running into all these brick walls.
42:00And everyone then said, oh, he sucks at rushing the football, even though he's facing a top 10 run defense every single
42:06week, which JK Dobbins did not have to face.
42:09And then this season, the Broncos face a very similar schedule to the schedule they faced in the second half of last year.
42:15I mean, if the Broncos are going to be up-tempo, passing the ball, that's not really JK Dobbins.
42:20Like, that is more of the RJ Harvey, Jonah Coleman types of players.
42:24Catching passes out of the back, which has not really been Dobbins' game, not to say that he can't do it.
42:30And then there's always the caveat that he gets hurt.
42:33Do you think they're going to not win as many games this year?
42:37Because I think they're going to be really good this year overall.
42:40Still good defense. Like, so if they're winning games, I think they're going to be running on the clock.
42:46Didn't they go 14-3 last year? I don't know.
42:48I'm not saying that they're going to, you know, have 13 wins or whatever this season.
42:53But I think they're generally going to be one of the better teams in the AFC.
42:57And we're talking, I mean, again, Dobbins off the board.
43:00It's not like it matters for us. But just in general, like, I think Dobbins is going to end up being a
43:06value early in seasons, even against a tougher schedule.
43:09It's just like, you know, he's going to get hurt at some point.
43:13But in a league like this, I'm like, everybody's going to be weak somewhere.
43:17So having a guy that we think is really good early, I think is smart.
43:21And again, I'm just talking strategy-wise for the listeners.
43:23I know it's not applicable to our situation. I'm just adding wide receivers and running backs to the queue and stuff like that.
43:30Like, who do y'all? By the way, who is the late tight end that we want?
43:35I'm totally fine with us going with a multitude of guys, either like going the George Kill route and immediately backing that
43:41up with a Dallas Goddard or an Isaiah Likely or a Jawan Johnson or punting it further and going with like a
43:47Jawan Johnson, Isaiah Likely, Dalton Schultz, or Brenton Strange build.
43:50Dude, Brenton Strange is really interesting to me because if there's any injuries, his per route metrics are freaking fantastic.
43:56If the volume opens up for him, he could be a top 12 guy and he's nowhere close to being drafted.
44:02I kind of think if he's there, our next pick should be George Kittle.
44:06I'm fine with that. I think it's late enough.
44:08Yeah, I'm fine with that too. I'm fine with that.
44:11He has the type of high-level upside that other tight ends that are available aren't going to touch.
44:16I think if we do that, immediately we go Kittle and Dallas Goddard and we're done at tight end.
44:22That would be my vote. I am on board with that.
44:25What do you think, Harrison? My way Marshawn Lloyd goes here, D-Bro.
44:28Yeah, I figured he wasn't going to make it back to us.
44:32I thought Graham was going to take him. Behind us.
44:35Three teams between our picks. Three teams need a tight end before us and then three teams after us.
44:40Behind us, three of the four teams. No, two teams after us, like in that one to five range, still need one.
44:46Yeah, yeah, yeah. Two to two. Okay. If we don't get Kittle, do you want to go likely?
44:51If we don't get Kittle, I'm fine punting it.
44:54I was going to say, if we don't get Kittle, I'm good waiting until the next pick.
44:59Yeah, same. Same. Okay, so what receiver running back do you want instead then?
45:03I know that it sounds ugly and gross. I would make the case for Tyler Algier.
45:07If Jeremiah Love is really slow early on or misses any time, I do think he'll get opportunity.
45:13And again, it's a 16-team league. Guys getting volume, even in gross offenses, I think matters.
45:17I would also be on board with Coleman this round.
45:20I would say Algier and Coleman would be my picks.
45:23If it's not Kittle, then I think it's Debo or Denzel Boston.
45:26That's just me. Debo, you don't want to go Jonah Coleman yet?
45:30You want to wait another round? I think we can wait until the ninth round for a tenth round of Jonah Coleman.
45:36He is the sixth highest rated running back right now in ECR.
45:39So, like, in terms of guys who are currently still available.
45:42So, like, he might not get back to our next pick, which is okay.
45:46But I'm just saying that. He might not. I mean, you're not wrong about that.
45:51Well, again, also, we've got to figure out the tight end thing, too.
45:54If we're not going tight end here, then... Okay, yeah.
45:57So, Kittle's gone. Kittle's gone, so I think we just punt tight end.
46:01I think we punt tight end. So, you don't want to do tight end with any of our next two picks?
46:07I would say definitely not with the next pick.
46:10I would consider it in the next... Like, I don't want to take a tight end in the eighth.
46:15I don't think we should do it. I don't think we should do it for the next two picks.
46:20Well, it looks like a little bit of a tight end run is happening.
46:24Yeah. I still don't want one here, but I would find one in the ninth.
46:29Yeah. But, again, you have to sacrifice somewhere. I'm more willing to sacrifice at tight end and quarterback than I am running
46:35back and wide receiver in a 16-team. Okay, so I like likely here.
46:39You guys want who instead of running back or receiver?
46:42Which ones? I would take Jonah Coleman or Tyler Algier.
46:44Those would be my two that I'd pick between if it were me.
46:48And then at receiver, I'd probably go Boston, honestly.
46:51Yeah. Okay, so we're up. For me, it's Jonah Coleman or Denzel Boston or Debo.
46:55Those are my top three guys, whoever we want to take.
46:58Of those two, I would go Coleman or Boston.
47:01I don't hate Debo, but I just like those two.
47:04I like Coleman. Let's go Coleman. I'm good with Coleman here.
47:07I mean, we're putting together a pretty freaking good running back room, man, considering we just cobbled together.
47:12Like, this just feels like a zero RB team or a hero RB team.
47:16And I like the build so far. I think we caught up at running back well.
47:20Yeah, I agree. Honestly, so now we have four receivers and four running backs.
47:24I wouldn't mind a tight end here in the next round.
47:28I'm not going to push it. I'm open to it, though.
47:31Goddard would be my pick then if we go tight end.
47:34I like Likely. I'm fine with Likely. I like them both, honestly.
47:37Worm, do you have allegiance to your former Raven?
47:40Or do you like Dallas College? No, he's not a Raven anymore.
47:43He's dead to him now. I feel very like this is a very flat range of tight ends for me.
47:49Like, I would be very open to the case for any of, like, the next five or six ranked guys.
47:55So I don't feel strongly about it. If I, like, you know, forced me to pick if I was the only one
48:01here making this decision, I think I would probably go Goddard.
48:04But it is, like, not a big margin for me.
48:07I just, I feel a lot better about Goddard.
48:10Like, all the stuff about Eli Stowers coming out, like, he is going to be redshirted this year.
48:15Like, I don't think he's going to be a part of the offense.
48:18Like, I think Goddard's going to be a big-time part of this offense.
48:22Now, there are four teams after our next pick who still need a tight end.
48:26So we could just wait another round and say, hey, you know what?
48:30Let's go get, like, Dylan Sampson or Denzel Boston.
48:33And just, like, because Debo's gone. Algier's gone. But, like, if we wanted to just get Boston or Sampson or somebody else
48:39that you guys want to make a pitch for and say, hey, there's only four teams that still need a tight end before our next pick.
48:46And we'll just trust that not all of these guys go.
48:49I'm okay with that. But I'm also okay with just taking Goddard or likely to.
48:54Again, I don't feel strongly. I mean, I'd like to address one of the tight ends because we like the tight ends anyway.
49:00And I think actually Coach is saying that there's maybe a teardrop-off.
49:04I think they gave me some notification or something about bye weeks.
49:07I'm not exactly sure. We have four players in the same bye week is what I just saw from Coach.
49:13That's fine. It'll be – Debro knows my opinion on that.
49:16I don't care about bye weeks. I could not care.
49:19I legitimately do not care at all. Don't look at them.
49:22Don't care. All right, so whichever tight end falls to us.
49:25No! Boston went. So Boston's already gone. Wait, what happened?
49:28Tight end. What happened at 904? Yeah. I'm like, hey, let's make our pick quickly here first.
49:33I think it's Goddard or likely. Yeah, I just like you two.
49:36I like both. Worm, you pick. I would probably go Goddard.
49:39I would go Goddard of the two. I'd go Goddard.
49:42I just feel better about his route share. Like, I know he's going to be a full-time player.
49:47I think that about likely, but again – Let the record show.
49:51So I want Isaiah likely for all those watching this video.
49:54The record will show. So we'll see what happens.
49:57I like Goddard, too. Like, he – I think – he's like a 26% target rate.
50:01I think we're laying in the plane, boys. When – Yeah, I think we're doing all right.
50:06AJ Brown has missed games. So. Now, if he gets back – Maybe like he'll come back to us.
50:11I was going to say, I wouldn't mind just going back-to-back tight ends and taking likely with the next pick if he's there.
50:18I'm totally on board with that. Cool. And I'm even fine if we wanted to go – like, say he goes, I'm
50:24fine with us even taking an upside swing at this point and don't Kincaid.
50:28Like, because if he does get the full-time route share, he could be a top-five guy.
50:33And a 16-teamer? Yeah. Down with that. I would rather likely, but yeah.
50:37Kayshawn Booty. Oh, also, to – I don't know if you guys got the update.
50:41So, the unknown player, I don't know why it's showing up like that, but it's Jacoby Lane.
50:46So, I don't know why it for some reason isn't – Oh, that's weird.
50:50That's how the guy that was drafted. Yeah. Maybe because he was drafted so ahead of ADP.
50:55He's an NPC. That's hilarious. Yeah, I don't know.
50:57I have no idea why he is – unless they drafted, like, Jalen Lane.
51:01I got a double – I just see Jalen here.
51:04I think Kobe Lane has become so good, he's turned into, like, a creative player.
51:08I mean, who knows? I mean, all the beat writers out of Baltimore thinks that he's going to be a Hall of Famer.
51:15We're seeing defenses going off the board here, too.
51:17A couple DSDs, Texans, Broncos. No. No defense. I was going to make the case for Emmitt Johnson.
51:22He goes here. Isaiah Likely goes as well. All right.
51:25Likely's gone. All right. Kincaid's next up, then, as an option, if we want to double-tap tight end.
51:30Kincaid or Jawan Johnson on the way back. Still got a lot of quarterbacks left.
51:35Kincaid. Kincaid's gone. Kincaid's goes – yeah, we still have, like, just that quarterback, Purdy, Bo Nix, Mahomes, Stafford, Goff, Kyler, Jordan, Love, Shuck.
51:42Oh, dude, it's free and loaded, man. These are all still available.
51:45Dude, this is – Again, like, we picked two guys, and we're good to go.
51:49Like, piece of cake. I was going to say, are we going to take two quarterbacks?
51:54Yes. Because we only have five picks. Waivers are going to be pretty barren.
51:58Again, because it's 16 teams. So – So we're taking one tight end and two quarterbacks with our next five picks, right?
52:04Yes. We want to have two of each? Okay.
52:07So that means we only have two running back receiver picks left.
52:10I think we go tight end and quarterback with our next two picks, depending on who's there.
52:15Like, but that's only if – oh, did Jawan Johnson just go?
52:18He did. So never mind. Okay. So, like, honestly, I'm fine with us going quarterback, quarterback here, guys.
52:24Like, what do you think? Double tap it. Yeah, I think it makes sense.
52:28If we're not over the moon about any running back or wide receiver, again, if you really want somebody, speak now or forever hold your peace.
52:35If not, again, we do have to draft quarterbacks at some point, and the value's there, the guys are there.
52:41Let's just take them. I just think we could start the run.
52:44I think the run is going to happen on, like, the rest of the QBs.
52:48Because after our pick, all those teams already have quarterbacks.
52:51I know, but they're going to get a QB2 and a 16-teamer.
52:55Maybe. I don't think they're all going to get a QB2 this round.
52:58Oh, I agree with Worm. I think maybe our next pick, we don't have to go quarterback.
53:03We can wait until the turnaround. But then the one after that should be at least – Yeah.
53:08We should start to get at least one. So some of the running backs and receivers, I'm just like, you know, you're
53:15not – obviously we're in, like, a real handcuff territory.
53:18Like, Brian Robinson, Ray Davis, Vidal, Sean Tucker. That's what I'm saying.
53:21Sean Tucker, Nick Singleton. Not really any of them, honestly, for me.
53:24A.D. Mitchell, Dutton Tavik's, Trey Harris. I mean, these are some – I do like Trey Harris.
53:29Pat Bryant, Malik Washington. These are the receivers that – Rashad Pateman.
53:33I wouldn't say no to Trey Harris. But there's a wide receiver cheer drop coming.
53:37Again, I'm not pounding the table for any of these guys.
53:40According to Coach. Well, which quarterback do you want?
53:43I would go with Bo Nix. The thing is there's so many quarterbacks I like.
53:47I think Bo Nix and we go, like, go pure up.
53:50Like, Bo Nix, if he goes before us – I mean, Goff because you get bonuses for 300 passing yards?
53:56I think we go Nix or Goff and then back it up with Malik Willis and we're done at quarterback.
54:01I kind of like Goff-Willis as the pair. Yeah.
54:04Yes, I agree with that. I think we should go quarterback-quarterback.
54:07I think we should just take two quarterbacks. We're done and then we take our late darts.
54:12And Bo just went. See? I think it's going to happen.
54:15Let's go Goff here and then an upside quarterback.
54:18The last time we went against Debro in this so-called run that was going to happen, he was right.
54:23So let's listen to him. So Jared Goff. Jared Goff.
54:26Are we all going to do with Goff? The official quarterback of the tailgate fantasy team.
54:31What's happening? We good? Jared Goff? Yes. 300 yards every single week.
54:34I'm good. Let's go, baby. Jared Goff. And then I think we go Tyler Shuck or Malik Willis.
54:39Willis is my pick. I will point out Malik Willis has the same bye week as Jared Goff.
54:44Okay. We'll figure it out then. Normally, I don't care in a 16-team league that gets tougher.
54:49I'm just pointing it out. We're not going to go undefeated anyway.
54:53That's true. I would be on board with Willis in the next pick.
54:56Willis is the next pick. I'm on board with Willis.
54:59Yeah. It's Willis or Shuck. Whoever we want to go with as far as upside.
55:03It's fine. But, yeah. I think once it gets to the other side of the board, quarterback's going to get annihilated coming
55:10back because it is a 16-team league. No, I 100% agree with it.
55:13And just to make sure we got – again, I understood when you were saying we could push quarterback, but then it's
55:20like, well, we could just get the two guys we want and then not have to sweat.
55:25Because we're not seeing any quarterbacks go. There's a team – what is that?
55:29The McCaffrey team has no quarterbacks right now, unless I'm reading that wrong.
55:32So, like, they're probably, like, banking on double-tapping quarterbacks.
55:35The case for me to not have gotten quarterback there would have been if we really liked a running back or receiver.
55:41Since we didn't, I'm super on board with double-tapping QB.
55:44Running back is kind of – running back is pretty gross right now.
55:48Yeah, and wide receiver is like, well, we can just take upside shots on guys, like, super late.
55:53Yeah, there are upside guys at receiver that I want to, like, take a swing on.
55:57But, yeah, it's pretty gross at running back. Antonio Williams, there's still Ted Hurst, there's still Chris Bell out there.
56:03Those guys are going to go super late. And we still said we wanted to get another tight end.
56:09All right. Yes, I do still want to get another tight end.
56:12But I'd rather take a quarterback here and then look at tight end next.
56:16All right. So what are we doing quarterback then?
56:19Mine is – I know D-Bro's going to use his veto, but I would put Kyler Murray in.
56:24But I know he's going to veto it. I like Kyler.
56:27I like Jordan Love, honestly. I like Jordan Love.
56:29I think they're going to throw more. There's also Patrick Mahomes is available.
56:33Like, we could just take him. I don't know.
56:36I mean, dude, we could just take Mahomes. I am also okay with Shuck.
56:40It does feel weird to take him over Mahomes.
56:42Yeah. Yeah, I think considering who's left on the board, we take Patrick Mahomes.
56:46All right. I'm on board with Mahomes, honestly. Do we have any stacking partners?
56:50We could take Baker. We got Godwin. You can take Baker over Patrick Mahomes?
56:54I mean, I'm just talking for the stack. I'm not against it.
56:58We're not – I don't care about stacks, honestly.
57:00All right. So then who wants? I would go Mahomes or Love would be my two.
57:05Mahomes? I'm okay with Mahomes. D-Bro? Mahomes? Mahomes. Come on down.
57:08It feels like the right pick. It is the right pick, yeah.
57:11It feels like the right pick. I mean, Malik Willis was the right pick.
57:15I mean, dude. He got taken before us. For round 10 and round 11 picks in a 16-teamer, we go off of Mahomes.
57:22It's pretty freaking good, dude. If you're not going late-round quarterback, what are you doing?
57:26We've got Mahomes with pick 165. That's draft. I mean, that's wild, man.
57:30That's wild value. That's wild. Late-round quarterback, dude. It's so bad.
57:33So bad. So on the way back, do y'all want to go with like a Brenton Strange at tight end?
57:39Because we only have Dallas Goddard so far. I want Terrence Ferguson.
57:42Oh, you want Terrence Ferguson? That's what I pounded the game before.
57:46The thing is, like, I almost would wait – let's see what happens.
57:49I almost would wait another round at tight end because, like, there still is on the board Ferguson, Andrews, Chikakako, Brenton Strange, Ronnie Gadsden, Terrence Ferguson.
57:57Like, I know we like some of those guys better than others, but that's a lot of names that are still there.
58:03Remember, we have Puka Nakua. If he goes down, Terrence Ferguson is going to see a major boost roll, and we're going to be starting it.
58:10That's true. And to your point, though, Worm, yeah, there's a lot of names left.
58:15I don't like any of them outside of, like, Strange and Terrence Ferguson.
58:18But I hate all of them. Like, there's a lot of names, but – Well, the same thing, Eric, since you just
58:25said with Puka, we have George Pickens. If he goes down, Jake Ferguson is going to look really good.
58:30Yeah. That is a valid point. Jake Ferguson just made a case for Ryan Flournoy.
58:34Jake Ferguson in the 12th round of a 16-team league.
58:37I think that is a boring value. No, no, no, Flournoy.
58:40Flournoy got taken, sorry. Oh, oh, oh, Flournoy. Yeah, yeah.
58:43No, but what I was joking that you were making the case.
58:47Flournoy might have a larger role this year regardless.
58:49Yes, that's exactly what I was saying. That's fair.
58:52Even if Pickens or Lame were to go down.
58:54So, you guys are just aces with these rebuttals.
58:57You guys do this full time. Good job. We should consider it.
59:00Hey, more of me. It's a hobby. It's a hobby.
59:03So, where are we? By the way, we haven't drafted a receiver since Chris Godwin in round five.
59:08That's fine. We take a tight end and then we just go receivers.
59:12It was wild, though. Because D-Row was like, pound it for Chris Godwin.
59:16And I'm like, dude, this seems like a reach.
59:18And then we stopped the drafting wide receivers altogether.
59:21Because it was like, our receiver was pretty good.
59:24So, like, not bad. Well, I mean, we started with a zero RB team.
59:28So, like, four of our first five picks were receivers.
59:30So, we kind of, like, made the bet there.
59:33By the way, in draft assistant, Jacoby Lane is available.
59:36So, maybe that was Jalen Lane that went earlier in the unknown player spot.
59:40Oh, maybe. It must have been. I don't know.
59:42Interesting. So, someone fat fingered the wrong Jalen. Maybe.
59:45So, all right. Bummer. Erickson, rule thing here. Do we have to draft a defense?
59:49Yes. In the way you set this league up?
59:52Ferguson. Yes. We have to draft a defense. That means we have defense, tight end, and receiver are our next three picks in some order.
59:59So, here's a question. Defense is last. Do we want to take a second tight end?
60:03Or do we want to not worry about that and then just take two receivers?
60:08I honestly kind of think with what y'all just pointed out, the fact that we only have four receivers, I kind of
60:14think we take two receivers and a defense. I don't know.
60:17I mean, you could put a tight end at flex.
60:20I just feel like I like the tight ends better than the receivers.
60:24Is there a receiver you really like? I kind of agree.
60:27I mean, Jake Ferguson makes sense for what our roster is, even though he's not as fun as T.
60:32Ferguson. He does make sense, considering we have George Pickens.
60:35Plays in good offense. I also think Andrews is going to catch a lot of touchdowns this year.
60:40Don't care. Yes, we know. It's well documented. Yes.
60:43You were batting for a Brenton Strange, D-Bro. Like, he's available too.
60:46No, that's fair. I think Strange definitely needs an injury to be impactful.
60:50I think some of the other guys maybe could be impactful without an injury.
60:54Or we just take Charlie Kolar. The real tight end one on the Chargers.
60:58I mean, A.J. Barner, like, do we like any receiver?
61:01I mean, I put Ted Hurst, Chris Bell, and Antonio Williams in the queue.
61:05I feel like this is where you take the upside.
61:08You guys are going to laugh at it. I actually do think Rashad Bateman is a big value this year.
61:13Like. I can't with the off-field stuff, dude. The off-field stuff is totally valid.
61:17If he's on the field, like, I think Declan Doyle is going to use him in much better way than Todd Monk.
61:24Fair. I just don't know if he's on the field.
61:27I think Bateman went on the field is going to be way more productive this year, but I totally get the off-field stuff.
61:33Yeah. At receiver, I vote for Pat Bryant. For what it's worth on the off-field stuff, by the way, the woman who
61:39accused him of all that recanted her story back in June, like, well before the TMZ story came out.
61:45I'm not saying that means it didn't happen. I'm just reporting that she did recant it even before it became public.
61:51So, you know, for whatever that's worth. I think I would go tight end here.
61:55I would go tight end with this pick and then a receiver and then defense would be how I would finish it.
62:01Yeah, there's a team picking behind us that still doesn't have a tight end, so.
62:06Then Brenton Strange is my vote. Okay. I would say Ferguson, so Erickson, why don't you break the tie?
62:11Unless Debra wants to veto Ferguson. Ferguson. Oh, yeah.
62:14You want to go Ferguson? Yeah, just because we have pick-ins.
62:17Like, it makes sense if, you know, he gets hurt.
62:20Yeah, but it's not a basketball team, though. We can feel pretty good about him.
62:24I do like this, like, eight straight picks of receivers and running backs and then four straight doubling up at the onesies.
62:30That's kind of a fun way to go about it.
62:33Well, I mean, that's what you do in a 16-team.
62:36You got to sacrifice somewhere, and I think you sacrifice a tight end and quarterback.
62:40Yeah. We go receiver next. Debra, since I pushed for Ferguson, you can pick the receiver.
62:45Who do you like best that's available? Hurst. Oh, you like Hurst best.
62:48Okay. Ted Hurst. This is an upside pick for me.
62:51I like Hurst and Pat Bryant would be my other receiver, so I'm one of those two.
62:56I think it's Hurst, Pat Bryant, and Chris Bell would be kind of the trio for me.
63:01I was going to say Bryant as well. I was looking at Antonio Williams.
63:05I was looking at Hurst. You know, I would say Bryant and Hurst are the two we should pick between because those
63:11are the ones I think that we most consistently agree on.
63:14This is all just upside. Because we also have Chris Godwin.
63:18So if Godwin gets hurt again, you could see Hurst having to expand your role and we can throw him in.
63:24Exactly. So. Yeah. Structurally speaking. Oh, he got taken.
63:26Bummer. Salt. Well, let's do Bryant. Okay, so Pat Bryant.
63:29Pat Bryant's it. Yeah, I like Pat Bryant. Who's our backup?
63:32Bryant goes who's the backup. Yeah. Antonio Williams. Again, Rashad, Baton.
63:35Fields, I don't hate. Jack Bash. Jacoby Lane, if you really think Baton's not going to be on the field.
63:41Holds. Calvin Ridley, we all liked a year ago.
63:44Bryant's not there. Going back to it. We need it.
63:46Take a pat, Bryant. Got him. Yes. Done. Agreed.
63:49Yeah. Yes. Got him. Unanimous. All right. So what defense do we like?
63:53All right. Let's see who's available. Chargers. Chargers, Ravens.
63:55I do like the Ravens getting the Colts in week one with a bunch of banged up receivers and Jones coming back from the Achilles side.
64:03I think the Ravens is a good early season.
64:05Who do the Vikings play in week one? I don't know.
64:08I haven't like memorized the week one. Packers. Packers.
64:11Oh, Packers. Okay. Okay. So I would go chart.
64:14I would go Chargers, Ravens, Lions. Those three. In whatever order they're available or left.
64:18Who are the Ravens getting? The Colts. With all the receiver injuries.
64:21And they have a bunch of other easy games to start the year too.
64:25They get the same. That's what I was going to say.
64:28In a 16 team where it's probably not going to be as easy to stream defenses.
64:33Especially some of these teams might take two. I'm looking at Ravens schedule.
64:37Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Ravens. I like the early season Ravens.
64:40Big time Ravens. The Ravens might start the season like nine and one.
64:44Well, and then we got Worm is absolutely all in then if we get the Ravens defense.
64:48I mean. Did we draft any other Ravens players?
64:51Mark Andrews just went. Darn. Mark Andrews went. Dude, we didn't get any Patriots players.
64:55This draft sucks. We know Patriots or Ravens. I mean.
64:58No, dude. We could get the Ravens defense. Don't.
65:01Don't. Never say never. Well, yeah. That's what I'm hoping for.
65:04Who's the backup to the Ravens defense? We did get a Saint though.
65:07We got a Saint. Chargers. Chargers would be the defense if we don't take the Ravens.
65:12For me. And then if they're gone. Their first two weeks are awesome.
65:16Because four teams. No, three teams are going to draft a defense before we pick again because they have to.
65:21So three defenses are going to be out the board.
65:24I'm guessing the Ravens will be one of them because they're in the top three highest ranked available.
65:29So we should look a little lower. Chargers and Ravens defenses are gone.
65:33Lions are a low key defense I like because they have the easiest schedule in the NFL.
65:38They're going to play in a lot of shootouts, which means passing game.
65:42They're going to face a lot of pass attempts.
65:44Dayton Hutchinson is going to get sacked. They do start.
65:47They start with the Saints and then they're in Buffalo.
65:50Cowboys too. I like the Cowboys as a big time sleeper defense or the Bengals.
65:54I like Dallas is a good one too. I think Dallas and Cincinnati are going to have very improved defenses.
66:00I know they start with the Rams, but San Francisco gets Miami, Arizona in weeks two and three.
66:05I just don't have any faith that the 49ers pass rush is going to be any good.
66:10That's like as easy of a weeks two and three as you can get though.
66:14And we just kind of sacrifice. If they survive Australia and the Rams.
66:18Ravens went. All right. Ravens are gone. Yeah, that sucks.
66:21So I mean, we expected it. Chargers. Chargers are going to play.
66:24There's too many teams that need one. I agree with the Chargers.
66:28I still think they'll be there. Are y'all with the Cowboys or Bengals?
66:31So I like the Lions. Cowboys adding to the queue.
66:34The Packers get Minnesota and the Jets and Atlanta to start.
66:37Oh, the Packers are good. Packers get Vikings, Jets.
66:40They won't have Parsons though. Like I just, I don't think they're going to be any good.
66:45I know. The matchups are there, but I don't think they're going to be good.
66:49They get to face Tua and Geno and Kyler.
66:52Their defense sucks though when they don't have Parsons.
66:54That's the issue. What about the Bengals guys? No, you're not wrong.
66:58They get the Buccaneers, the Texans, Steelers, Jaguars. Say who they face again.
67:01Buccaneers, Texans, Steelers, Jaguars, Dolphins, Ravens. I don't like that.
67:04I also, I also think the Bengals are going to be terrible this year.
67:08Like I like the defense. I mean, like I'm not buying into the homer.
67:12No, no, no. I'm not buying into the group.
67:15That's not your Ravens homerism coming through. That is the homerism.
67:18They've been a terrible defense for years. I don't think Dexter Lawrence is alone to fix that.
67:23And they got better. Horrific. And that's why they traded for Dexter Lawrence.
67:27Jonathan Allen says high. Can't miss him. In the draft.
67:29Dude, Browns defense off the board. Oh my God.
67:32It's happening. I don't, I don't think the Bengals defense is going to be any good, but I could be wrong.
67:38Dude, the Chargers might fall to us. This may not matter.
67:41I was fixing to say the Chargers are the pick if they fall to us.
67:45Agreed. Chargers, definite pick if they're there. No doubt about it.
67:48They go right before us. Watch. It's going to happen.
67:51They might. I'm just preparing you. There is at least one.
67:54Yeah. There's one team that still needs a defense in front of us.
67:58Yep. And they're up right now. It's going to happen.
68:01And they took the Chargers. No! I told you!
68:04Okay, so what? This is your fault, Erickson. You've talked about the Chargers too much.
68:08So what are we doing? I vote Lions. I vote Lions.
68:11Worm, who do you vote for? Bills in week two is so tough with the Lions.
68:16Yeah, bro. It's one week. It's one week. Okay.
68:18What's the rest of their schedule to open the season?
68:21Worm, what do you? I think I would vote Niners.
68:24Oh, no. We're going Lions. Bro. The Saints, Bills, Jets, Panthers, Cardinals?
68:27It's just a tough week too. Say no more, baby!
68:30There's the Lions! I don't know why we're trusting the Lions defense to stay healthy and be any good.
68:36Dude, no. I'm not that. It's the opponents. And they're going to get them back.
68:40Dude, the Lions defense is going to get better as the season goes on.
68:44They still got Hutch, baby. In Hutch, we trust.
68:46Dude, Saints week one, dude. Tyler Shuck. I wish we had taken the Ravens defense in round 13 and then just taken Bryant in round 14.
68:54I bet maybe would have gotten back to us.
68:56He wouldn't have gotten back to us. I think so because all these other teams needed to take defenses.
69:02No, bro. Dude, Jalen All, Colby freaking Young was getting drafted.
69:05Pat Bryant. Travis Hunter got drafted. I don't know.
69:08Only four receivers went between those picks, so you never know.
69:11Pat Bryant would have gotten back to us. Best available.
69:14Sadiq. Still available. Waverwire's not as barren as I thought it would be.
69:17There's some names on here. I think it's pretty barren.
69:20There's some names. Oh, well, you're right. Rashad Bateman's there, so that's pretty good.
69:24Yeah, he's going to be there for a while.
69:27This is a pre-log episode, so we will take a very quick look just to see kind of what our projected standings look like and everything.
69:34We're not going to dive deep here, and then we'll get out of here.
69:38Maybe we'll take a look and see. Ooh, 95.
69:41Wow. It's like an A. Let's go. I love to see it.
69:44Ooh, we're second. Second in the standings. What's that?
69:47Okay, well, we got 95 out of 100. Second to only...
69:50Second only to the username that shall not be named at this time.
69:54T-W. T-W. Go to come T-W. T-W. T-W. T-W.
69:56But, yeah, expert opinions. A lot of 99s. People really like our draft, guys.
70:00And we're dominating wide receiver and flex. That's what you do in a 16-teamer.
70:04Quarterback... Well, that's because we want wide receiver heavy.
70:07I'm liking that it shows third in starters, first in bench.
70:10So, like, kind of have a good lineup and depth here.
70:13Yeah, let's see if the pick analysis agrees with what the Godwin pick and the Roma Dunze debacle that we had to go through.
70:20I don't see it here. They said we wanted Judkins instead of O'Dunze, not Brooks.
70:24Well, they says we should have gotten Rice instead of HN and then Henderson instead of Godwin.
70:29As our number one switch. I don't agree with that.
70:32In a 16-teamer, I'm not quoting Rishi Rice. Yeah, Rishi Rice is...
70:35No. This is a tough click for him here.
70:38I don't disagree with you guys. Yeah. I just can't.
70:41I mean, I get we got stacking with Patty, but I can't.
70:44I can't. Well, we didn't even know we were going to do the stack with Patty.
70:49Yeah, that's fair. That's fair. So, the team whose name we can't say, they did take Rice.
70:53T-Tubs. CeeDee Lamb, Drake Leonard, Rishi Rice. They started receiver, receiver, receiver.
70:57Then Lamar Jackson. Then they took Travion Henderson, RJ Harvey, JK Dobbins.
71:00So, they didn't take a running back until round five, but then they took three in a row, including two Broncos guys.
71:07They got Kittle. So, that's a pretty good team.
71:09Oh, so they took our Broncos idea. They just went RJ and JK instead of JK and Jonah.
71:14Yeah. And they took George Kittle. Yeah. It's a good team.
71:17So, that's a pretty good team right there. All right.
71:20We'll go ahead and wrap things up there since we went long.
71:24Thanks, everybody, for checking this out. This was super fun.
71:27Hope everybody enjoys it. We will reference this league kind of throughout the season on Tailgate.
71:31And, you know, we're going to kind of run it together.
71:34Projected number. I mean, we're projected to be second place.
71:37We'll finalize a punishment as well. We're definitely open to suggestions that people want to throw out our way.
71:43We're going to eat some W's, boys. Eat some W's.
71:45Give us suggestions for a miss the playoffs punishment and for a last place punishment.
71:50That will only apply to us. We're not going to make anybody else in this league live up to those punishments.
71:56The winner is going to get $150. American. There you go.
71:59Hell, yeah. I didn't even know that. Maybe we'll win.
72:02Yeah, well, I was waiting until the end once the draft was done.
72:05Once I saw that we were going to probably win, then I announced that there was going to surprise my opinion.
72:11How do you see our winner? I probably would have changed.
72:15I'm like, all right, winner gets $25. I would not have let us draft Chris Godwin if I had known.
72:20We could actually win money. No, I'm just kidding.
72:23I would have still vetoed Mark Andrews for what it's like.
