0:21All right, and welcome into Fantasy Pros Live on Twitch.
0:24We're just hours away from the first full NFL preseason slate.
0:28Kicking off, so we're firing up another Q&A coming your way right here on twitch.tv slash fantasypros.
0:33This is where you can follow us for all the action so you don't miss a second of our live interactive content.
0:39This fall, I'm your host Seth Wilcock, fresh off a honeymoon trip up into New England Patriots territory.
0:45And I'm joined by a man who's been jet-setting across the entire country the past few weeks in the name of fantasy football.
0:52From Canton, Ohio for the Expo to the Big Apple for Jake Seeley's Flex League.
0:56He's Derek Brown. Derek Brown, how are you? We just got a few weeks left to kick it before the regular season is upon us.
1:04Any more final destinations to cross off the summer bucket list for you?
1:08No more final destinations, my friend. I am strapped back to the desk.
1:12I am ready for the regular season. I am ready for preseason betting.
1:16I will be in the streets. It is a good time to be alive, my friend.
1:20And yeah, it was catching up with the content, baby.
1:23I was out of town when I got home.
1:26I was out of town for eight of the last 10 days in the calendar when I when I touched back down and DFW.
1:33And it was like got to catch up on content, man.
1:37But I'm here to tell everybody. Guess what, people?
1:40The top 200 will be live tomorrow, baby. Let's go.
1:43Let's go. I'm so excited. One, to have it done and two for everybody to have this ready for all their drafts
1:49and best ball and all things in between. And it's literally exactly what it sounds like, fam.
1:54200 players, quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end.
1:57And yes, I'm even a psycho. And I wrote up kickers and defenses for y'all, too.
2:02But ready? I'm ready. I'm in it to win it, man.
2:05Ready. Ready for week one, baby. Yep. I completely agree.
2:08It's like from now until I mean, really, the NFL draft were locked in, right?
2:13There's really not a breath for us because we pretty much go right from the regular season of the NFL into draft
2:19prospect season as the NFL playoffs are coming up.
2:22We go from regular season to senior bowl, Seth.
2:25That's what we do. Everybody's like, oh, the regular season is over.
2:28You must have a little downtime. Nope. It's Sprint to Mobile, baby.
2:32Yep. Yep. Absolutely. But hey, I wouldn't have it any other way, especially because we get to hang out all these amazing people right here on Twitch.
2:40So go ahead and drop your questions below and we'll be sure to get to them.
2:45You can also check out the fantasy pros YouTube channel and the podcast feed for a full offering of episodes and short form content.
2:52All the guys and gals from the team have been doing a great job over there.
2:57So really, really excited for all this. And speaking of excitement, W Collins, Seth, on a scale from one to 10, how
3:04excited are you that the Jonas Brothers are the halftime show for the Rams versus 49ers game in Australia?
3:10I don't even know this is actually just say it's 11.
3:13Just go ahead and say it's 11. They need to play their older catalog.
3:17The last two albums have been absolute shite. But before that, they were really good.
3:22So if we can get some like year 3000, if I can get some, you know, burning up, maybe a little bit
3:28of that, you know, that type of catalog. I'm down for it.
3:32You got a favorite Joe Bro song? I love how you're getting nuanced with this.
3:37I can honestly tell you, you can count on one hand how many Jonas Brothers songs I've listened to.
3:42What the? Big zero. Oh, come on. Goose egg.
3:45Nada. None. Never. No. Uh-uh. Well, hey, that's all right.
3:48I love you, man. Like, look. I'll just have to go to the year 3000.
3:53I will not yuck anyone's gum. By myself, man.
3:55It's all right. It's all right. What do we do?
3:58Sal, cut this man off. Mute this man, Sal.
4:01Please. Oh, good Lord. Did he? Sal? Yep. He did it.
4:04He muted me. There we go. You love to see it.
4:08Thank you, Sal. Yes, Sal. I love you. I love you.
4:11Use those producer powers for good, baby. We are so back.
4:14Absolutely. Metal James checking in as well. Saying, sup, boys.
4:17What's up, James? Hope you're having a great one, man.
4:20Yes, Dev. He is, you know, being a little whiny here.
4:24Saying Debro killed him in that other mock draft.
4:26Debro, do you take one of the fans out there?
4:29What happened? Yeah, we recorded a mock draft episode this morning.
4:33I see you, Dev. I saw some of your pics.
4:36Yeah. Uh-huh. I see what you're doing. As well as, you know, apparently the Elon Musk internet was working good on the yacht.
4:43So Dev was able to mock from the yacht, which is, you know, shout out to Dev.
4:48Um, but I will give another shout out to Grim, who is like the most sinister mock sniper in these Discord streets.
4:55I swear, he picked the spot right next to me and then just religion, like every mock Monday that I do in
5:01the Discord, I get like the lowest score in every mock because Grim is just like bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, just taking all my players.
5:09I'm like, I just left with scraps, man. I might as well just log out.
5:14Auto draft. I don't know what to do. It's ridiculous.
5:17Oh, I think I got my first mock draft Monday coming up next week.
5:21So, uh, I, I am, I'm looking forward to, but I'm not looking forward to that because if they know your, your,
5:28your picks and leans, they probably know mine as well.
5:31So, well, I was going to say dread us in the chat right now.
5:35Yes. Yes. Dread us. I am too scared to invite you because I'm afraid of the pain.
5:40I just, I know what's going to happen. Oh, Dread is saying I miss oil tycoon Seth with the stash, uh, throwing the oil tycoon.
5:48We're almost what? No shave November. We're getting close.
5:51Movember. Yeah. We actually might have a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a,
5:57a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a live campaign going on with Movember.
6:02So yeah. Yeah. Hey, wedding's done too. I got, my wife's locked in for good now.
6:07Oh, so now she ain't got a choice. She's tied at the hip to you forever mustache and all, baby.
6:13Yes, sir. I love it. Absolutely. I love it.
6:16Absolutely. Great to see everyone. Uh, thank you guys so much for hanging out with us today.
6:21Let's go ahead and get into some of the questions here, D bro.
6:25And it starts at the top with our friend W Collins, who's saying, what is the best way to prepare for a draft?
6:32If I won't know the draft or until about a week out of the draft also switched up the profile pick to show off both of my Corgis.
6:40I love it. Love it. W Collins. We are a pro and everybody that's on Twitch right now.
6:46If you could see my Corgi, we are a pro Corgi show, my friend.
6:50I love it. Love it. Love it. So a few things here.
6:53One, you got to just be using the mock draft simulator.
6:57Because if you use the mock draft simulator, you are just, you're stretching the muscles, baby.
7:02You're getting ready. You know, you're flexing without having to go to the gym as well as this is a league that
7:08has been around for a few years. I've talked about it.
7:12It's out on the fantasy pros main account, but I mean it.
7:15Draft entails a cheat code. Yes. You just, you don't need to know it because what you're looking for, you don't need
7:22to know the draft spot because what you're looking for is the tells of how everybody kind of drafts.
7:28Who's the early quarterback team who goes heavy on wide receivers.
7:31You see the trends. So like outside of doing a lot of different mocks from different spots and messing around with all
7:38the different settings also in the draft simulator where you can change up like how aggressive like it's set to go on running backs and wide receivers.
7:46Just getting reps. All of this comes down to like what I would say is my overarching thing is two points for drafts.
7:53It is make sure you're setting your cue and giving yourself enough out so you don't time out.
7:58So like a cue of like three to four players every single round when it's getting closer to your pick.
8:04So you have outs and you don't get stuck on the clock.
8:08And number two, like I say it and I truly mean it every single freaking year.
8:13It is always the five word answer at the bottom of my cheat sheet is screw ADP and get your guys.
8:19And apparently my dogs absolutely agree here. They're barking in the background, but I'm not willing to play ADP games like and
8:26I'm not talking like you take the fifth round player like in the second round.
8:30But yeah, do you do you take them in the back end of the fourth round instead of waiting to the fifth round and things like that?
8:38Yes, this is where you go because outside of everything else that could be painful and fantasy of losing and all that kind of stuff.
8:46How does it also feel when you have a player that you were high on?
8:50You played the ADP game. Somebody else drafts them and you see them go off on somebody else roster or you catch
8:57an L during the season because that player just buried you during the season.
9:01I think my worst example of that is the first year is Lamar Jackson as a starter when he won his first MVP.
9:08I just kept waiting and playing the game and I didn't have a quarterback and the team in front of me.
9:15I was like, oh, they're not going to take me because I was on the I was thinking I was at the 11, the one 11.
9:23And I waited for the team on the turn because they already had two quarterbacks like they're not taking quarterback.
9:29They took Lamar in front of me. They played him against me in the championship week.
9:33I lost the league because of that. So, yeah, horror stories, horror stories.
9:37But make sure you guys are checking out all the tools over there.
9:41Fantasy pros dot com for all that great stuff going on there.
9:45And also a question from Don Vito saying Jay Jettis or James Cook end of the first round in full PPR.
9:51What do you think? James Cook. Not close. The easy James Cook.
9:55I'm are you out on Jay Jettis? Yes, absolutely.
9:58At cost because everybody like is like, oh, well, like he's definitely going to go back to being this elite fantasy option.
10:04Right now, if you're looking at real time ADP, which you should be fantasy pros dot com slash real ADP.
10:10He is wide receiver six. Twelfth overall. No, thank you.
10:13No, I don't. I don't want Jefferson at that price tag at all.
10:17I've got more concerns about Kyler Murray, who up until being named QB one was having a very up and down camp.
10:24Yeah, he didn't look good for most of camp.
10:27So I think it's a non zero chance that we do see J.J.
10:31McCarthy this year. If you look at Jefferson's peripherals and deeper numbers on a fantasy, like on an XFP point per route,
10:37he wasn't even a wide receiver one. Even if you look at XFP, which is looking at just opportunity volume out of
10:44that kind of stuff and be able to score it at the median.
10:48And then you also look even deeper than that separation score route win rate.
10:52He was outside the top 28 wide receivers. Like, could he bounce back?
10:56Sure. There's just a lot of risk where Jefferson is versus Cook.
11:00I have been pounding the table for James Cook.
11:02Yeah. Yeah. Pounding the table because everything that we've seen from him, it's like all the parts and pieces for him.
11:09To become a top two, top three running back are all there, man.
11:13High volume and one of the best offenses in the NFL.
11:16I think we finally get the pass game utility with Pete Carmichael there.
11:20Two years without Sean Payton, Pete Carmichael calling plays for the Saints.
11:24Top 10 and target share to the running back position.
11:27So let's go, man. Let's go. Yeah. James Cook.
11:29Easy. Easy. I definitely was on the J Jetta side before this happened.
11:33Right. But I think I really just can't can't do that right now.
11:37Right. I think my rankings have changed and it's one of the updates I got.
11:42I got to make sure that, you know, I'm trying to trying to move on from it and make those new decisions for there.
11:49Before we keep moving, just wanted to shout out a couple of our new followers.
11:53ARH3352. Thank you so much for the follow. Also, Asaira has given us the follow.
11:58Dreddus just resubbed for two months. An eight-month streak there for Dreddus.
12:02Really appreciate that support there, Dreddus. And Acadian Spice just resubbed as well with Prime, a five-month streak for Acadian Spice.
12:08And then Bighorn, new sub for one month. Thank you so much for that, Bighorn.
12:12Really, really appreciate that. T.O.1, new follower. Fat Gut as well.
12:16Yeah, I'm going to have Fat Gut after this season.
12:19I know you double-take before you read that name.
12:22I know you double-take. You're like, okay, am I going to get caught at the end of this?
12:27I saw you. Yeah, I absolutely agree with you there.
12:30Pickens or Flowers for you this year, Dbro. Coming from String Cheese, man.
12:34Pickens, straight up. But Flowers, based off of cost.
12:37Like, I like where Flowers is going about a round after Pickens.
12:40More than I like where Pickens is going. So, like, in drafts, like, I have Pickens ranked above Flowers.
12:46But are you talking about, like, just who am I more likely to draft this year?
12:51It's a Flowers. Okay. Yeah, I can understand that for sure.
12:54I was kind of surprised by the real-time ADP of George Pickens.
12:58It has been creeping down. It's now, like, 24 overall.
13:01So, if I'm on that 2-3 turn, I would love to go Pickens.
13:05But understand the Flowers support there as well. Better Calls, Bob.
13:0836th overall in real-time ADP. Woo! Let's go. Better Call Bob here with the Hubbard News.
13:13Where should we be targeting Jonathan Brooks? Derek, you've been aggressive.
13:16They came to the right place, Seth. They came to the right place.
13:20The company's been aggressive. The industry's been aggressive. How aggressive are we getting now with this Chuba Hubbard News?
13:26I have him RB28. And I will go to, I want to say I have him 72nd overall.
13:31I'm double-checked. Yes. Oh, my goodness. I have him 72nd overall.
13:35Oh, my goodness. You don't have to take him in the sixth round.
13:39Although, I will say I have noticed in some sharp leagues and higher stakes stuff, he is going at the back of the sixth round.
13:46So, just be mindful of that. Watch real-time ADP because he's going to move up.
13:51I tweeted this out this morning. It's the perfect confluence of events.
13:54Chuba Hubbard is hurt. Jonathan Brooks is playing in the preseason.
13:58He rips one big long run. His ADP is going soaring, bro.
14:01Like, I've got him at RB28. But guess what?
14:04That's where I've had him the entirety of the offseason.
14:07At RB28, RB29. So, I haven't moved. The rest of the freaking industry is slowly catching up, Seth.
14:13Yeah. Yeah, I completely understand that. Great question here from It's Mikey saying, we do live drafts.
14:18I'm having a hard time finding rankings in tiers that are printable and user-friendly.
14:22Thoughts and advice on how you handle live drafts.
14:25So, I will say for my live draft, Mikey, I do lock right into the Fantasy Pros draft assistant that it can
14:31draft alongside us because we'll also make the picks.
14:34And that's what I would recommend you guys do, too, if you're even doing it live.
14:39Make your picks on ESPN, Sleep, or whatever platform you're doing it.
14:43And also hang the pickup on the board. And if not, you can go print out the Fantasy Pros ECR rankings pretty easily.
14:49You can make a custom cheat sheet, too, with the cheat sheet creator.
14:53Print those out. If you want to just, like, hey, I don't want Derek's rankings because, like, you know, he's way too Zay Flowers friendly.
15:01I just want Seth's rankings and maybe Erickson because Erickson's cool and got that nice hair going on.
15:06Then you can filter out that way, too. Sal, meet this man again.
15:10No, but good shout-out to the draft assistant. I have done so much.
15:14I love you so much. You might watch this on Twitch.
15:18He cut that man's camera off. I love you, Sal.
15:21You're a savage. But, yeah, shout-out to Sal. Shout-out also to the draft assistant, FantasyPros.com.
15:25Slash assistant. Seth had a wonderful plug for that because it is a fantastic tool.
15:30But, yes, my second point would be here. You can go to the cheat sheet creator pool ranks, whether you don't want
15:36any of Seth's ranks, and you don't want that in part of it because you just know how bad they might be,
15:43and you want to make your own custom cheat sheet and then print that out, that would be the first thing that I would be saying.
15:51Hi. Welcome back, Seth. How are you doing? Great to be here.
15:54How's your Thursday? Yeah. Hey, all right. All right.
15:57Give me your quick 30 seconds on the Bears stadium fiasco.
16:01Arlington Heights, of course, was the location they were formerly trying to move to.
16:05They are now likely, whether it's a bluff or not, we shall see, potentially heading to Indiana very, very soon.
16:11So are you okay with this? I know you're obviously not in that type of metro, but I'm all right if you
16:17got to rock and roll over in suburban Indiana.
16:20It is what it is. I want this to happen, and I'm sorry to all Bears fans.
16:25I want this to happen so badly just so they change their name to the freaking Indiana Bears.
16:31Like, you can't be the Chicago Bears if you're not in freaking Chicago anymore.
16:35You're not even in the freaking... No, but you can't.
16:38You can't be the Chicago Bears if you don't even reside in the state.
16:42What about the Jets and the Giants? Fine. Change them, too.
16:46I think it's a travesty that both of those names are what they are.
16:50I agree with that. I'm here for that. Like, you can't be the New Orleans Saints if you're located in Montana.
16:56Like, that wouldn't make any sense. That's not what it says.
17:00Yeah, but Indiana and Illinois, they kind of overlap, but I understand.
17:03And shout out to the main account here. New Jersey Jets does definitely roll off the tongue a lot better than the New York Jets.
17:11Maybe they'd have better luck in Jersey because it's not great in New York.
17:15Look, y'all don't have infrastructure like we do out here in Pittsburgh.
17:19We got room for the stadiums right by the Rivers, baby.
17:22Beautiful couple stadiums as well. One-two turn here from ARH asking, James Cook and Chase Brown are Ashton Gentio, the better offensive line.
17:29What are your opinions? Or maybe Gentio Brown. What is your move here if you're at the one-two turn and you want to go RBRB?
17:36For me, like, I would honestly go James Cook.
17:39Like, if he's there. And then I'm going Hampton or Barkley next in that tier before I consider Chase Brown or Gentio.
17:46What about yourself? I'm lower on Barkley than you are.
17:49But James Cook, we agree. I'm not against Hampton.
17:52For me, it's James Cook and Chase Brown. I have both of those guys top five running backs.
17:57I'm in both of them. Yeah, dude. Okay. I mean, Chase Brown weeks 13 through 18 with, oh, dear Lord, Samajé Pirine still playing.
18:04Chase Brown. And during that, RB2 and fantasy points per game.
18:08Still pretty good. Pretty good. Absolutely. Appreciate that question, ARH.
18:11Let's see. Bighorn, number two running back after Bijan.
18:13I actually have Gibbs, who is now my RB1 over one overall player.
18:17How do you have it? I mean, is Gibbs right after Bijan for you?
18:21Bijan ahead of Gibbs now? Yeah. Bijan is my RB1, but I have Gibbs too.
18:26Okay. Yeah. Okay. And string cheese, man. Sam, noticing in mock draft running backs are going heavy in the early rounds and
18:33usually coming up with three wide receivers in a row that are hard to pass up.
18:38Bad idea. Cheers. I don't hate it. It's a great idea.
18:41I would love to grab a running back in the first three rounds, even if that's an RB1 with Josh Jacobs or
18:47something, if I have to go in the third round, Derek.
18:51But when other people are zigging, I'm not afraid to zag.
18:54Yeah. For me, I love the wide receiver values and what and rounds three through five this year.
19:00I just think they're absolutely mispriced guys all littered throughout that.
19:03So it's not like, just like, oh, I hope I get these two players.
19:07And if I don't, then I'm screwed at wide receiver.
19:10So for me, it's like, yes, I I'm down with the RB RB start, depending on if you're also in a league
19:17that only starts two wide receivers, string cheese. It's like, I'm also fine with RB RB and then going tight, like premium
19:23tight end Colston Loveland in round three, then slamming wide receiver for the next like four rounds.
19:29Like, bro, like you can get Christian Watson. You can get Jalen Waddle, Terry McLaurin, Mike Evans, Parker freaking Washington.
19:35Like all of these guys that I love in that range.
19:38Egg Buka, Zay Flowers that goes in the third round.
19:41Like it's wonderful. Yeah. And last year, if you waited on running back, I'm not saying it works every year, but last
19:48year, if you waited on RB and went with like Travis ETN, Javante Williams, maybe a little cam scatter boot to begin
19:54the season, you were sitting pretty, right? It's not going to be sexy, but I do like early running back production more than most people.
20:02But I know if you're in the front of your draft and you don't have access to be genre Gibbs and you're
20:09in that elite wide receiver territory, sometimes those other elite running backs aren't coming back to you and it's okay to pivot.
20:15So yeah, not a terrible idea. String cheese, man.
20:18But I like what Derek said. Maybe I grab a tight end there instead of three straight wide receivers.
20:24Just to start it off. So great stuff there.
20:26Real quick, before we keep moving, we just mentioned it, but your fantasy football ranking should reflect your league's settings and help
20:33you answer your own biggest fantasy football questions along the way.
20:36With the cheat sheet creator from Fantasy Pros, you can build custom rankings, move your favorite targets up, push risky players down
20:43and create a personalized draft board for your specific league.
20:46Go to fantasypros.com slash sheet or download the Fantasy Pros app to build your own custom sheet for your draft day.
20:52Again, fantasypros.com slash sheet and also try out fantasypros.com slash intel for draft intel, which can help you get more data on
20:59your league, which you can then parlay into some more information over there as well.
21:04All right. Here we got a question coming in.
21:06We got Mr. Slap. Is Ken Walker an RB1 for real?
21:10Is he worth keeping worth a keeper being 12.5% of my auction money from Mr.
21:14Slap? So I'm going to pull up the auction salary, salary calculator right now and see because you could find this on fantasy pros as well.
21:22If you just go to the top bar right now and put in salary like I'm doing right now, you can find
21:29the salary cap calculator and we'll just go half point because you could change all of this different stuff.
21:34Half point. I'm looking at positional rankings running back.
21:37So what Ken Walker 12.5? Let's just say because you could change all of this stuff in here, like a $200 budget, what have you.
21:45That sounds about right. I mean, does that sound that doesn't sound pricey to you, does it, Seth?
21:50Like, I think that that sounds about right for me.
21:53Like, uh, yeah, Ken Walker going at for out of a budget of a hundred dollars, easy conversion to a percentages here, $15.
22:00So at 12.5%, yeah, I'm down with that. And yes, Ken Walker is an RB1.
22:05Yeah, I don't, I don't know if this is the same.
22:08Uh, we had a similar question. I was editing one of our fancy pros audio podcast the other day that came in
22:15on a live stream saying that they had like Ken Walker for a good amount of their change.
22:20And then I think they had Brock Bowers is another option for less.
22:24And then like even Trevor Lawrence for, for less as well.
22:27So, um, I think either way, like, you know, unless those are your other options, Ken Walker at 12 and a half, like I'm totally cool with that.
22:36He he's, he's my RB. I think he's 12 right now for me, Derek.
22:40I think he, you know, I'm a little bit behind 11.
22:43I got him on 11. So I, you know, I think he is an RB1.
22:48Yeah. But that, that's also a steal. Like if you are using the, uh, the cap calculator here, like I have Ken
22:55Walker as my RB7 right now, but like per the cap calculator, like Ken Walker, that would be pricing him as the
23:01RB17 based off of your budget and stuff. So like, you're getting a deal off of that.
23:06Yeah. Where are you taking Ken Walker and redraft?
23:09Are you willing to like early second round? Then I imagine is kind of where you're willing to pull the trigger.
23:15Okay. Yep. Early second round. I've got him as my, I mean, I've got him as my 13th overall player, but anywhere in the second round.
23:23Okay. Uh, fat guts subscribe with prime. Thank you so much for that.
23:27We really appreciate that. Uh, PSP Patty and unlikely cheddar, some new followers and cheddar just subscribed with prime as well.
23:34Thank you so much for that cheddar. A little cheddar coming back our way from you.
23:38Uh, Derek, the other day I just had, um, it was like a smoked spicy cheddar cheese that we got from a farmer's market.
23:46It made me cough, man. I was, I was hurting a little bit for, I love spicy cheese, but, um, there you spicy cheese type of guy.
23:54You like different variety of cheeses, all cheeses all the time.
23:57You don't need crackers. Just give me some kind of fancy cheese and a fricking knife, man.
24:02I'll eat a whole fricking block of cheese. Don't care.
24:05One of my best friends doesn't eat cheese. Can you believe that?
24:09Like any, the only cheese he eats is on pizza.
24:12Dude, my son is like this too. And he's not lactose intolerant.
24:16He just doesn't eat cheese, but make this make sense.
24:19And I, and I throw this in my son's face every single time.
24:23Does your friend eat pizza? Because my son eats pizza.
24:26Yep. What? I don't understand this dude. And I clown him constantly.
24:29Cause I'm like, how the hell do you hate cheese, but you eat pizza?
24:33It's got cheese on it. I know there's sauce and other things, but there's still cheese.
24:38And he's like, Oh, it's different. It's totally, it's, it's, it's cheese.
24:42Like how? I know. I know. I don't know, man.
24:45There's a lot of people that can't eat cheese out there.
24:48So if you eat cheese, you better be eating it.
24:51Probably better if you don't like, like, you know, for a health standpoint, but no cheese.
24:56Nah, you'll live to like 95. It's all good.
24:59All the cheese. It's all the time. Oh, we got a question from TBJN 18 team league, full PPR.
25:05Okay. To go running back, running back, tight end quarterback, and then fill out my wide receivers in an eight team league.
25:11This is fine. Like, I don't think I want to punt my wide receiver one that long.
25:16I think I'd rather go RB wide receiver and then tight end quarterback.
25:20But this is the only acceptable way. I think you can go to one seat positions in the first four rounds.
25:27Derek, I agree with that. And the other thing, if you wanted to punt quarterback just a little bit, and I keep
25:33advocating for this, Jalen Hurts is just the easy access to still lead quarterback upside.
25:38And he goes way later than Josh Allen. So like, if you wanted to go like running back, running back, tight end
25:45real time ADP for Jalen Hurts, and I would just go to eight team leagues because you could change just some real
25:51time ADP, Jalen Hurts is going in the fifth round.
25:54So you could even go RB, RB, tight end wide receiver and then get Hurts possibly.
25:59And then just keep slamming wide receivers. Yeah. Don't hate that at all.
26:03Metal James checking in with another 18 team league question.
26:06One quarterback, two run back, one tight end, two wide receiver, two flex, a kicker, and a defense.
26:11I'm pick three. If I have one of the top two run backs fall to me in the first round, do I
26:18stay RB round two, possibly third if someone falls for me?
26:21I mean, I'm okay with that again, but like Derek, I don't want to fall behind the arms race of wide receivers, even in an 18 league.
26:30So like, you know, I'm okay if like you get, you get one of the top two guys, like a B genre
26:36Gibbs who falls to you at pick three, but then coming back, like I am kind of looking at least in the
26:43next two picks to go wide receiver with one of them.
26:46Yeah. And it depends on who's on the board.
26:49Like for me, I'm a little bit more selective, like at that point of the draft, like wide receivers and running backs I'm in on.
26:57But I think like, yeah, just read the room and doing enough mock drafts, knowing who you want and where you want to take them and stuff.
27:05So you're able to pivot. Just flow, baby. Just flow.
27:08Uh, real Ben money saying any strategy tip for guillotine leagues as well.
27:12Is there a ranking sheet on fancy pros anywhere?
27:14Great question. And of course, uh, the producers in the backend, let you know, we have a guillotine league strategy guide on the site, fancy pros.com.
27:22And then you can go check it out from there.
27:25The URL right there for you. Real Ben money.
27:28And I would say I'm not, I don't, I don't play in any guillotine leagues.
27:33I would say follow the strat guide and as well as you utilizing discord and stuff like that.
27:38There are other people on the team that might play them.
27:41I don't play guillotine. I don't play IDP. So you won't hear me pretending like I do.
27:46Mm-hmm. It's been, it's been one or two years since I've played guillotine.
27:50Now that there's like a chopped function on sleeper, I think I might try it again.
27:55I did enjoy it. Um, curious what, what did, if you voted, we had a company slack go, go out a couple
28:02of weeks ago, uh, on what your like choice would be, how do we refer to guillotine leagues moving forward?
28:08Um, what did you vote in that? Do you remember?
28:11I don't remember which one I forgot. I forget the fricking options off top of my head.
28:16Um, I went with, with the one that did not get picked.
28:20I'll tell you that one. I think I might've gone with guillotine or chopped and, and that did not win.
28:26And I maybe get elimination. I thought it was winning whenever.
28:29Okay. Okay. Yeah. I mean, guillotine or chop is fine with me.
28:33Yeah. That's good. Uh, here is Tay as a 10th pick.
28:36Would you go RB RB or RB wide receiver?
28:39Um, what's your thought? I'm fine with either. It just depends on who's on the board.
28:44Like RB RB, like I could tell you like, you know, James Cook, Chase Brown, Amarian Hampton, Kenneth Walker are my guys,
28:50kind of the running backs in that second round range that are really, really like, I'm also not against like Derek Henry.
28:57Um, so it also, it just depends on who's there.
29:00You know, like if Saquon's the type guy on there, like I'm lower on Saquon than everybody this year.
29:06So like, what wide receivers would you take around the 10th pick?
29:09Like, are you comfortable? It sounds like you're not comfortable with Justin Jefferson there.
29:14CD lamb. Are you comfortable with him in that range?
29:17Or is that a bridge too far for you as well?
29:20I just like, for me, it would be like Aminra.
29:23Like if Aminra or JSN fell there, like if they fell past ADP.
29:27So like that, well, I mean, Aminra is at seven.
29:30Sometimes I've seen him fall a little bit later.
29:33Um, but for me, it's probably like, I'm probably going RB in round one.
29:37And then in round two, the guys that I like, like I'm okay with Pickens, not in love with him, but like still okay with Nico.
29:45My, my big stance in second round for wide receivers, AJ Brown.
29:48Okay. Okay. Fair enough. Fair enough for that one.
29:51Um, fat gut saying, uh, keeper league can keep three players.
29:54The max you can keep them is for three years.
29:57There's no round value assigned to them. Uh, they are all first, second, or third rank.
30:02Rank these three players, Gentry, Taylor, and Lamb. So, I mean, I think in my rankings, I got Lamb, Gentry, and, and
30:09Taylor in that range, in that order, but I'm definitely opposed to, you know, what consensus is doing.
30:14What about you, Derek? Rank those three players for our guy.
30:18In that order. In that order. I think it's that simple.
30:21Okay. Yep. In that order. Okay. Okay. Perfect. Perfect.
30:24Um, can you turn trades off in the draft simulator?
30:27I don't even think you can do trades in the draft simulator, right?
30:31So you can't do trades, you can do keeper picks and stuff like that, but you can't do trades.
30:36So, yep. Yep. Which honestly, like I think in a redraft and I don't want to spoil anyone's fun, like play how you want to play.
30:44I think in a redraft league, if you're going to trade picks, I think you need to trade your entire slot.
30:51I think that's just the fairest way to do it rather than, you know, Hey, I'll give you my first for your second and third.
30:58I think that can throw the balance off quickly in a redraft 12 team.
31:02So I'm not big on like trading picks and redraft.
31:05The way that I would say is if you want to trade picks and stuff like that, just start a dynasty league.
31:12Yeah. Yep. Yep. Completely agreed. Um, we got a league here points per first down league from gel.
31:18Oh, see a one quarterback, two running back, three wide receiver, two flex, one tight end keep pickings at the five, 10
31:24or Loveland at the 10 one Loveland. This is not close for me.
31:28The first values, the first down stuff is just it all.
31:31I wrote an article way back when about probably like five, six years ago, looking at first downs and stuff like it all just correlates back to volume.
31:40So like you get a lot of crap of like a crap ton of freaking first downs.
31:45If you're getting a crap ton of targets, that's just how it goes.
31:49So like don't get too in the weeds about like roles and all a set of stuff or this guy's the short
31:56area guy and blah, blah, blah, blah. It all comes back to volume just like everything else does.
32:01Um, but no, for the value it's Loveland easy for me, especially like, I mean, you're just, you'd be crushing it at a onesie position.
32:09Yeah. Agreed there. Um, want to shout out Brick City Stone, new follower to the channel.
32:13That's my nickname when I play hoops, hoops down the road.
32:17Derek is Brick City. That tracks. Definitely tracks. I'm a three and D type of guy.
32:22So I'm, you know, I'm, I'm chucking up threes and I'm, I'm walking down on you.
32:26Are you always the first person out on horse?
32:29Is that how that goes? Um, yeah, you know how to spell, you know how to spell the word well.
32:35Yeah. Yeah. Pretty good. Pretty, pretty easy. My wife has a good record against me playing horse in the driveway.
32:41I'm talking smack and like, I can't say the last time I picked up a basketball.
32:46I used to play a crap ton when I was younger and stuff like that.
32:51My Achilles would probably snap if I go out there nowadays.
32:54Can I even hit the backboards? Some days, some days, there's a reason I was a wrestler in the, in the wintertime.
33:01Uh, Dredus, I was just, uh, not coordinated. I don't think to be a basketball player.
33:05Also shout out to Casey, you nine to nine for a subscribing with us as well.
33:10We appreciate that so much, Casey. Thank you very much.
33:13Um, back to some more questions here. We got a 10 team half PPR league for Pingo.
33:18Uh, he's going to choose his draft slot. Ooh, one Oh one, one Oh two are taken.
33:24So I'm deciding where to pick from one Oh three onward.
33:27What spots do you like? I want to prioritize running back, but I also love Bauer's positional advantage in a shallow league.
33:34I'm hesitant on the one Oh three, one Oh four, because I don't love the running backs coming back in round three and four.
33:41I'm usually a playoff team slash strong manager drafting on ESPN.
33:44So Derek, any, uh, opinion here for our guy Pingo?
33:47I really liked the one Oh five because the decision is kind of made for you.
33:52And I think you have a better chance of getting one of those more elite running backs, like a Ken Walker, a
33:59chase Brown, maybe no Marion Hampton to come back to you.
34:02One Oh five would be my pick even in a 10 team league.
34:06And then I think maybe there's still a chance you can get an elite tight end in the third round.
34:12That would kind of be my pull. But what, what do you think here, Derek?
34:17What, what do you think that our, our, uh, friend Pingo should do?
34:20I think the eight or nine slot, um, only because like, probably like depending on your league, like I'm looking at ADP
34:27right now, just kind of mapping this out of my head in the eight spot.
34:32Like I picked the eight spot because I think you're probably going to get access to either one of Amon Ross and
34:38Brown or James cook and looking at where that's going to go.
34:42So if you're picking eight, you're going to be picking in that 16 range on the other side of it on the second round.
34:49And you are firmly entrenched in like the Jen T chase Brown, Kenneth Walker, Mariana Hampton, Derek Henry spot.
34:55So for me, it would be one Oh eight.
34:58Okay. Love that. Love that. Um, here we got another question coming in from Casey saying 12 team full PPR keep two for the round picked last year.
35:06My choice a book in the seventh scataboo in the ninth or burden.
35:10And the 12th, any question or any opinion here for Casey?
35:13I understand a lot of people would say burden and the 12, just based off the value and the upside.
35:19I book has the same exact freaking upside. Like it, I don't care if it's the seventh versus the 12th.
35:26Like I, I feel a lot more confident about a mecca book breaking out and being that freaking dude this year than I do about Luther burden.
35:34But if you want, if anybody wanted to push back on that and say they wanted to go burden, I wouldn't push back hard.
35:41I definitely am not on scataboo though. What? He gets two.
35:44So scataboo, scataboo for a ninth and a boot.
35:47I would take both the wide receivers then easily, both the wide receivers.
35:51That's a value on cam bro. Come on. And when he is a day three pick because he was drafted in the
35:58fourth round, unless I'm crazy or third or fourth round.
36:01No, you're right. He was day three pick. Okay.
36:03So day three pick with the new coaching staff.
36:06He was hurt in his rookie season. And if he gets hurt this year, what do you think the giants are doing next year during the draft?
36:14True. True. But for this season, I think cam scataboo.
36:17I know, but it is a keeper league. You're, you don't care just about this season.
36:22You care about the next two to three seasons, if not longer.
36:26Yeah. I think scataboo in the ninth is still great value.
36:29And you know, it could be, but it also could be a landmine is what I'm kind of hinting.
36:35Okay. Okay. Yeah. You, you know me, I can't get, I can't get enough for cam scataboo.
36:40I love this guy. You love them backflips, baby.
36:43You do. Dude. I love the pass catch. Dude.
36:45No one talks about dudes. An elite pass catcher.
36:48The running back position, man. Come on. He is.
36:51And he's also a rhino, rhino. And he plays like a goof.
36:54And I like his archetype and the way that he plays isn't meant for, you know, it's NFL is not for long.
37:01Yeah. That's, that's cam scataboo. Like he's not for long in that league.
37:05Did you ever watch saved by the bell? Was that of your era at all, bro?
37:10He, he, I came home in elementary school and all that kind of stuff and watched it.
37:15Like literally like, I remember sitting next to the TV.
37:18Okay. Same, same here. Um, and then like, I'd usually throw an hour of saved by the bell on.
37:24And then usually a PTI and around the horn were coming on around four and five, which were great.
37:30But there is like one and maybe Sal can find the picture.
37:33It's not AC Slater, but there's a very jockey guy.
37:36And I can't remember what his name was. It would just show up in like every couple of episodes in the background,
37:43just kind of look like a real dude that looked like a big old jug head.
37:48Like he was like a guy. I know exactly who you're talking about.
37:52And when I moved schools when I was 16, like first day of gym class, there's like the same type of moose.
37:58I think it was moose. I think Dreddison just hit the nail on the head here.
38:03That is that not camp Scadaboo is moose. Like that is his persona, right?
38:07I, I, I swear. Yes. If it's exactly who I'm thinking about, I'm looking up the picture right now.
38:13Sal, if you throw this up here. Um, yes, that is.
38:16It was. Yeah. Let's go. Good pull. Good pull.
38:19Love it. That was nice. That is. That is.
38:22No doubt. He doesn't have the hair though. Shout out to moose for the flowing locks.
38:27Maybe. No, no guys. We got about 25 or so more minutes.

39:40From McDonald's. So they just released an all new Caesar sauce.
39:43That is a creamy blend of rich Parmesan, zesty lemon and bold garlic flavors.
39:47The sauce on a chicken Caesar snack wrap or the McCrispy strips delicious, which by the way, the crispy strips are even crispier now.
39:55And that combination is perfect from McDonald's. And for a drink, I'll probably have a nice cold Sprite to go along with that perfectly.

40:58Dude, I love Dredus just coming in like a savage, just knowing it was moose off the top.
41:04Shout out to Dredus. I know. Maybe I need to turn my profile picture on Discord into moose or something.
41:10That would be elite. That would have... It's either that or it has to be you with a stash.
41:15It's either that or oil tycoon, Seth. It has to be your Discord, Abby.
41:20Oh, yeah. That's great. That's great. Bighorn. He needs a running back.
41:23He's got B. John Hubbard, Dowdle, and Corey Krosky-Mair.
41:26Wide receivers to trade. Bighorn, can you let us know if this is redraft or...
41:31Oh, Keeperly. Keeperly. Okay. Wide receivers to trade. Harrison, Jameson Williams, McLaurin, Watson to deal.
41:35Keeperly drafting late August. So, I think you can move some of these keepers.
41:39I mean... Yeah. Like, I'm... I don't... I mean, I move Marv.
41:43I want J-Mo on my team. I kind of...
41:46And I don't hate the other ones. Like, I would move Marv if I could.
41:50What about you, Derek? Is there like one of these wide receivers you're willing to deal more than the others in a keeper league?
41:57Yeah. Yeah. I would deal Marv. I would... I'm actually more positive after I wrote him up for the top 200.
42:04Oh, really? Than I was. Yeah. I bumped him up a few spots because his numbers when he was actually healthy weren't horrible.
42:11They weren't amazing. But he wasn't as bad as I thought he was going to be.
42:16So, like, dude, like if you could trade... Like, hell, even package like Marv and Dowdle.
42:20Like, or Bill. Whoever they want. Give them their choice.
42:23Just two for one. And upgrade your running back.
42:26I would do that. Yeah. Also, we're getting confirmation here from Sal on the back end.
42:31His name was Ox, actually. I think his name was Ox.
42:34Was it? Okay. Yeah. I think so. I think that's what Google is telling us.
42:39So, sorry, Dress. We gave you some false praise there.
42:42I mean, she's still not wrong. We still got to the right picture in the person, okay?
42:47Animal name, right? Like, it's an animal name of a jock.
42:50I mean, I wouldn't even have been in the area code, dude.
42:54I was like... I remember what he looked like, but I was like, I couldn't tell you a name to save my life.
43:01Well, it made sense, too, because actually one of my buddies in my home league, his nickname is Moose.
43:07So, like, you know, it just fits. You know?
43:09It's a good name. Does he look kind of like Ox?
43:13No. There's other reasons. I won't get into those, though.
43:16This feels like a story you got to text me.
43:19We got to talk about this after the show.
43:22See Madsen97 checking in. He's got a 12-team standard league where we select our draft position for the first two rounds based on last year's finish that snakes.
43:30Then, every two rounds after that, the order is random.
43:33How would you prepare for this draft? Oh, my goodness.
43:36Get ready for chaos? I mean, like... Drink a couple beers?
43:39Be loosened up? I mean, so, to the point of this, okay, so the first two rounds based off of last year's finish, but hold up.
43:47So, you're not selecting your spot. You said we select our spot.
43:51Yes, for the first two rounds. Okay, but hold up.
43:54Oh, the selection process. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I would try to select one of these spots that's not going to be high.
44:01Like, you're theorizing what is not going to be the sexy draft spot.
44:05Like, the top three, five picks are going to go, like, really, really quickly.
44:09So, if you're somewhere in the middle or late, like, pick one of the turn picks.
44:14That's what I would do. Like, somewhere, like, again, like I just said the 108.
44:19I love this spot to draft from. Um, and then when you're looking at, like, the orders random afterwards.
44:24Again, trying to make sure that you're drafting with your own custom cheat sheet on Fantasy Pros or be very mindful of
44:31tiers and who do you consider to be the last of a tier and stuff and really using that walking into your draft.
44:38Like, knowing who the last of a tier or who the players are you like, but having that bucket of players.
44:44So, again, you're not getting screwed or, like, again, considering the chaos of this draft.
44:49Like, you're, you have a more dialed in plan.
44:52Not too narrow, but narrow enough to where you're going to be able to kind of swim through the chaos, basically.
44:58Yeah. Yeah, that is going to be some chaos.
45:01It's wild. Kibble's asking how to use the tools while live drafting.
45:04Again, I would make sure that they're putting the picks in whatever platform.
45:08So, if you're using a board, also put the picks in on Sleeper and ESPN so you can track it using the Fantasy Pros draft assistant.
45:16You can use the custom cheat sheets, though, as well and print those out if you need to use those during the draft as well.
45:24Appreciate all the questions about the tools. This is the best time to learn about those tools.
45:29Get a little inside information here. And we got JetLifeTay20.
45:32Wow. I think this person, I hope they actually live the jet life because I've never been on a jet in my life.
45:39But have you ever been on a jet, a little PJ action?
45:42Like a private jet? No. Yeah, a little PJ?
45:45No. No, I don't live in that tax bracket, Seth.
45:48Okay. All right. I didn't know if Dev had invited you down to the yacht.
45:53No, no. I've gotten a pass for the yacht, but he hasn't told me that he was going to send the private jet for me yet.
46:01So, waiting for that. JetLife asking, what's your favorite spot in a 12-team full PPR draft and what are your ideal picks in the first two rounds?
46:09For me, in my home league, Derek, I was in the 12th spot.
46:13I won that on my wedding day in the lottery.
46:16And I have since traded that to the four.
46:18I would like to be five, though, because my first decision is made up for me.
46:23If I can get one of those, probably not going to get the top two running backs, but I can get whatever
46:30one of JSN, Nakua, and Chase's left. That would be my ideal pick at five.
46:35And then come back around. If any of those top elite running backs, the Genties, the Saquons, the James Cooks, the O'Meary
46:41and Hampton, if any of those guys come back to me, I'd love them.
46:45And if not, I'm going to start looking in the Malik Neighbors range.
46:49I'm going to start looking at Brock Bowers there at the 208 or whatever pick that would be, 209 maybe.
46:55So that is my preference there. What about you, Derek?
46:58Preference for draft slot and first two picks? I would say either the 105 like you just talked about, and it's either Puka or CMC for me.
47:07Okay. Or I'm just 10 toes down on the freaking 108 because I can get either Amon Ross, St.
47:12Brown, or James Cook. And then I can go back in round two of, depending on who I got out of the
47:19first round, I can get one of Chase Brown, Kenneth Walker, Jinty, Hampton, or Derek Henry.
47:24And then we're off to the races for tight end and wide receivers.
47:28Love it. We got Eron checking in saying half PPR 12 round.
47:31T. Higgins at wide receiver or Jeremiah Love at the running back position.
47:35I got Love above T. Higgins. About seven spots in between them.
47:39Love 28 in my rankings. I got T. 34.
47:42Derek, where are you out on these two guys?
47:44And is Jeremiah Love in that RB1 conversation for you?
47:47No, he's not. I just, I can't, I can't believe in the quarterbacks and stuff like that.
47:53The offensive line, Tyler Algier as much. I'm actually T.
47:56Higgins on this. Only because I'm lower on Love this year.
47:59Like, I don't want to pay the price tag for him.
48:02I absolutely, I emphatically love the player. And no pun intended.
48:06You love Love. Yeah, I love Love. But he's an amazing player.
48:09I hate the situation. And I hate the possibility of Tyler Algier hurting him this year, considering the offense is probably going to be crap.
48:17Yeah, that is super fair. Jeremiah Love right now.
48:19Real-time ADP of 26 overall. RB13 right now. fantasypros.com slash NFL slash real dash time dash ADP.
48:25To check that out right there, folks. After this year, where do you guys see Rasheed Rice being in your ranking?
48:31So, redraft, Derek. Where do you, you know, let's just say he's back with the Chiefs on a one or two year deal.
48:38You know, maybe they enfranchise tag and he comes back.
48:41Where do you see him if this team largely stays intact?
48:44Like, is he back in this third round, second round conversation potentially?
48:48If it's a clean off season? Just a lot of ways it could go.
48:52Yeah, I was like, I'm lower on Rasheed Rice.
48:55Like, I have him at wide receiver 24. Like, I have him buried in ranks and stuff like that.
49:01Like, I don't have any faith on him staying healthy, him being effective, him holding the role, him not doing something idiotic in the offseason.
49:08So, whatever, however you want to rank Rasheed Rice after this year, if he's back with the Chiefs, I'm going to be lower.
49:15So, I just, I don't, I don't want to need Rasheed Rice.
49:19Dreddus, I need Rice on House of Rights. That might make things a little bit easier, except he could be the guy to violate it too, right?
49:27So. Yeah, I mean, you know, that or he gets the cops called on him because he did something stupid inside of his house.
49:34Yeah. Aaron asks, also asking, 12 team half PPR keeper league.
49:37My picks in the first round look like this.
49:40Kdub3, love Pickens Higgins. Which one is best? So, looking at available selections for him.
49:45I mean, it's an easy Kenneth Walker selection for me there, Derek.
49:48Not knowing who else is kept, is that kind of where you are?
49:52Yeah. Okay. Ten toes down. Love Kdub this year.
49:55Better call Bob. Pick one of this crop of mid-round running backs, Monty, Tootin, Judkins, Irving.
50:00I'm easy. I know you are totally against this, probably.
50:03I'm Juddy, and it ain't close for me. I think he goes for 1,000 plus yards.
50:08I think he's closing in on 10 plus touchdowns yet again.
50:11So, yeah, give me a little Judkins there. Dave Montgomery.
50:14And it's not close. It's Dave Montgomery. Man, give me quickly your 30 seconds on the fate of Judkins.
50:20I just like, I get it's going to be a tough offense, but this guy still, it's a better offensive line than a year ago.
50:27He had like 900 rushing yards in like half the games, dude.
50:31And he didn't get preseason. We think it's going to be a better offensive line because they got a lot of new parts and pieces, but is it?
50:39I don't know. And then you want to invest in a running back that amongst 49 qualifying running backs last year was
50:4640th in explosive run rate, run rate, 33rd in missed tackle rate, 26th in yards after contact per attempt.
50:52Extremely mid numbers there, Seth. Now, whether it's the offense, whether it's the player, whether it's the O-line, no, I'm out.
50:58Okay. All right. And we got Bam Bam Branson checking in, baby.
51:02Saying boys traded a projected late 2027 third round pick in Dynasty and Tyreek Hill for Michael Mayer.
51:07Banking on Mayer getting a new destination next year and realizing his potential as a tight end one.
51:13Should I have kept that third? Sent Tyreek to make roster room.
51:16So, I mean, I think it's... It's a third, dude.
51:19I think it's rich. I think it's rich, but I'm okay with it.
51:23I mean, it's rich, but again, like you said, like, I'm okay with it.
51:28Like, I don't think we see Tyreek Hill ever play football again, dude.
51:31That's how bad his knee injury was. So, I don't think that we see him play another snap in the NFL.
51:38The third is a third, dude. You can get a third back.
51:41If you're high on Mayer, shoot your shot. It's fine.
51:45Yeah, let's not forget. Like, Michael Mayer at one point...
51:48Oh, and he said it's tight end premium. So, again, the third's not bad.
51:52Yeah, that does certainly change things a little bit.
51:54But, yeah, Michael Mayer was projected to be the tight end one in that class.
51:59He was, you know, at one point thought to be a first-round pick and then fell out of the top 32.
52:05So, not a bad guy to shoot your shot on, right?
52:09No, and then the Raiders just decided they didn't want to use him, didn't like him, decided to draft another tight end, don't want to trade him.
52:17Like, okay. Yeah. Yep. So, J-Mac in a 10-team, 10-player keeper league.
52:20I have the 102 and the 104. Would you trade the 104 away for a 27 first or take Tyson and a lemon?
52:27So, just for clarification for the audio listeners, this is a dynasty league, not a keeper league.
52:33Well, maybe it is a keeper league, but I guess you're drafting rookies in it.
52:37Either way, though, Derek, would you trade the 104 away for a 2027 first or take Tyson and lemon knowing you have the 102?
52:44I'm okay with... If I know it's going to be an early first, I would take the early 2027 first over Tyson or lemon.
52:52But if it could be a wild card anywhere in the league, then maybe not.
52:56Give me the 27 first. Like, I like Tyson and lemon as prospects.
53:00I didn't love them like everybody else did. So, no, give me the first.
53:04I'll take a blind 27 first. Okay. We also have...
53:07Wow, really great question from Leon here checking in.
53:10What would be a better keeper, Puka, in round two, or Rice in round eight?
53:15Puka. Ooh! Puka. We just highlighted, Rasheed Rice is not nearly as young as everybody thinks he is.
53:20After this season, he's going to be freaking 26 years old.
53:23True. He has a checkered off-field history. He's got the injury stuff.
53:27He plays a very specialized role, aka low-A dot drag routes and curls and crap and stuff like that.
53:33He goes to another offense or hits the free agency market.
53:36No, this is a landmine, Puka. Okay. We got Real Ben Money checking in with that RBM, baby, saying, League Analyzer has
53:43me fourth in Dynasty League, but tenth for my projected record.
53:46Wanting to sell Stafford and thinking about land, what should I get in terms of future assets?
53:51I think this was another question that came through on one of our recent Q&As over there on the YouTube channel as
53:58well, Fantasy Pros, Fantasy Pros over there on YouTube, youtube.com slash at Fantasy Pros.
54:02Derek, I think if you're selling lamb, I think you're looking for pretty much two firsts back.
54:07Is that like a similar, you know, a fair range or would you need more with that?
54:12No. I mean, if you can get two firsts and you're probably, because all the hype of the 27 class, you're not going to get 227 first.
54:21I would take 228s. That's fine. I think you just have to be comfortable with like, hey, if you're doing that, like you're not winning.
54:28Yeah. You're not, CD is a guy can help you win right now.
54:32Yeah. But two firsts should be the price tag or a first and something real, like a first and a player equivalent to like a late first.
54:40And honestly, like real Ben money here. Like I would consider just holding on because people are going to get more desperate
54:47as some injuries happen throughout the season. And also when that trade deadline comes on and that could give you the time
54:54to see, am I actually a contender? Because I don't want to sell off too early.
54:58If I'm actually, if our league analyzer is saying you're fourth and dynasty, but 10th and projected record, you might be in the mix, right?
55:06Exactly. You could, again, like what the players were talking about here, you can wait it out.
55:11Like wait, like you're talking about. I think that's a very measured approach.
55:15Like wait until week four, week five. And if you're one in four, then the answer is clear.
55:20Sell. It's fine. Cheat, cheat, cheat, cheat question from Skylar.
55:23Uh, league settings or ECR settings, uh, for an auction draft and for a snake draft.
55:28So, um, Derek, any, any thoughts here on the cheat sheet creator?
55:32Like, are you like picking specific experts? I mean, you're picking your own ranks, but if you're, if you're someone out here,
55:39um, how are you using this to your advantage here for both an auction and a snake draft?
55:44Well, the auction is, I would use the salary cap creator and just go buy a sheet with that.
55:50Yeah. Like, and have a cheat sheet of like the, the players you're kind of looking at with the value.
55:56So you're, you know, you're, you're double fisting there, but like outside of that, I would rather just go with, um, with
56:02league settings and stuff because depending on what, cause Skylar, we don't know what you could have some weird league settings.
56:09Like that's going to probably capture it a little bit more accurately than ECR stuff.
56:13Yeah, absolutely. Um, I really appreciate that question though.
56:16The cheat sheet creator really, really great tool to have.
56:19Um, we got a couple of new followers here.
56:22Your first one is our two show. Uh, who's a new follower to us.
56:26We appreciate that. And also cowboy jiggity subscribe for six months at tier number one.
56:31Cause he was number one. Smitty Werber man Jensen.
56:33You remember that? Smitty Werber man Jensen, Spongebob. Oh, I was never a Spongebob guy.
56:38Yeah. You missed me. I was like your time.
56:41Yeah. Past your time before your kids probably. Right.
56:43So yeah. Yeah. I can appreciate some Spongebob jokes, but then other ones I'm like, Oh God.
56:48Like the, the voice itself is just nails on a chalkboard.
56:52As soon as you did that, I was like, I didn't connect it.
56:56And I was like, Oh, and then I was like, Oh yeah, that tracks.
57:00Yeah. My, uh, my first cousins, they, they weren't allowed to watch Spongebob as a kid.
57:05And, uh, both of them were valedictorians in high school.
57:08So that goes to show you. There you go.
57:11There you go. And yes, bam, bam. Um, Seth did make a pop culture reference.
57:15I, I'm good. I'm good for, you know, I may say the overbet has hit bam.
57:20It has it. It has it. Where'd you rank Mendoza in a 10 team PPR super flex league?
57:25I mean, it's hard to get like overly hyped about a guy who we're not going to see for a long time.
57:32Right. So unless you have long benches, Derek, like where's Mendoza just in, in your quarterback rankings this year.
57:38I mean, he's 28 to me and I, you know, I, I gotta move.
57:42I gotta adjust that. Actually, he's closer to 30 now.
57:45Cause she doors going to go above him. I think.
57:48And so, so is a Kyler Murray. 36, 36 to, I've got him buried because I think like cousins is going to get starts.
57:55We could see JJ McCarthy. We could see Mac Jones of purdy is out.
58:00Jaden Daniels. If he gets hurt, we could see Marcus Mariota.
58:03I have all those quarterbacks ahead of Mendoza. Cause we don't know.
58:06He literally might not start this year. Like any starts period on that Tom Brady plan, man.
58:12TB 12, TB 12. Uh, here's a great question here from Acadian spice.
58:16I'm seeing around eight to 10 is the quarterback sweet spot.
58:19How do y'all feel about this load up on the skill positions?
58:23I completely agree. Like unless Jackson dart or Jalen hurts are falling to me in like round six or seven, I'm considering them.
58:29But like, aside from that, Derek, like I'm just okay waiting, dude.
58:33I mean, give me Trevor Lawrence. Give me Dak.
58:36Give me Malik Willis. Like I, I, my homes.
58:39Yep. There's just so much value, dude. Purdy, Nix, Stafford golf, uh, Baker, Tyler, shock, Jordan, love Malik.
58:44Well, any one of the combinations of these guys, like, yes, waiting, waiting on quarterback is totally fine.
58:49Yeah. And, uh, another, another great question here from Skylar shroud saying, why is golf ranked so low when three of his
58:56top five guys can finish top five gives a, a S R V.
59:00dude, I, I completely, it's cause he's, that's all.
59:03Yeah. And he's not sexy, right? But like, it's cause he doesn't realistically Jared golf has been in the conversation to have
59:09the league passing title for four straight years, 4,400 yards every single year, Derek.
59:14And honestly, I think this year, I think like, is there a chance that the Detroit lions are this year's Dallas Cowboys?
59:20I said this on a show last night that because their defense with, with all the cornerbacks and safeties banged up losing
59:27arguably one of their best corners to off field shenanigans in the off season as well.
59:32Like I think there's a chance that like Jared golf slinging for even more yards than before.
59:37And I think GMO is going to have a, an even better season last year.
59:41Like I'm all the way in on the lions and that includes golf.
59:45So like, I'm okay with him being my QB one.
59:48If I punt more touchdowns and more volume. Okay.
59:51But stylistically on, on how they score their fantasy points, what the hell's the difference between Joe burrow and Jared golf?
59:57There's not, I wish I could give you a, I wish I could give you an answer, but Joe burrow just gets
60:04to sling it more than Jared golf does. Like, and so, you know, well, and Jared golf also gets a couple extra
60:11possessions every game because ballsy dance can't Dan Campbell's ready to go for it.
60:15Right. So let's go baby for Dan. Love it.
60:18Yeah. And also Jared golf, kind of an iron man.
60:21He hasn't missed a game for injury purposes in like four years.
60:24So yeah, like, like that's why I like, again, I like burrow, but in a non super flex, there's no way I'm taking him.
60:32Rather. I've rather, where he goes versus golf where golf is at one 24.4 in real time.
60:37ADP. Joe burrow is up at 55th. Yeah. It's not a question.
60:40Nah, no, no, no, Two questions left. And then we're going to get out of here.
60:45Um, first one is coming in from a sick shot, baby ripping a little porch.
60:50Siggy. They're saying how does strategy change in a 16 team draft?
60:53I start one quarterback, one running back, one wide receiver for flex, any deep guys you could, uh, think could break out here.
61:00So Derek, how does your strategy change in a 16 team league there?
61:04I'm actually probably prioritizing quarterback and tight end a little bit more.
61:08Cause I have to, um, and, and don't give me that look for, for shouting out the porch.
61:13Sig we've all done it. That's exactly what you're going to do.
61:17As soon as you, you, uh, get off this show.
61:20I know, I know exactly what you're going to do.
61:23That's like, you're just foreshadowing. Um, but I mean, I just think like with, you just have to read the room and
61:30stuff like it, like I could give you outline a bunch of different strategies and all kinds of stuff.
61:35You just have to read the room and understand that like where players are going.
61:40The thing about it, like with the four flexes and stuff like that, I'm honestly willing to just punt quarterback, like forget it, man.
61:47Like I'm willing to just have the ugliest quarterback room and play matchups and stuff like that.
61:52If I have to, because you are, you, I mean, there's four flexes, the positional value in a 16 team are here.
61:59True. So like I, then I'm not worried about quarterback.
62:02I'm just going to play matchups. Yeah. I like that approach.
62:05Malik will be your guy. Last one here. Cowboy jiggy.
62:08Am I crazy for not being able to take George pickings anywhere at current.
62:13I mean, 24 overall real time ADP. I'm fine with that, dude.
62:16Like, even if there's a little bit regression, like I understand the hesitancy just because we only saw it one time and it was a spike season.
62:24Maybe the Cowboys defense gets better, but do you think there's a chance that GP really does like underperform that ADP by a long shot?
62:32Not by a long shot, but what I will say for, for George pickings, the thing that's getting lost is I think
62:39that people are chasing a little bit of last year's season while also missing the context that the big George pick and stuff.
62:46And with, with CD land, he was still the wide receiver 11 and fantasy points per game, but without like CD lamb
62:52getting hurt definitively helped his full season and all like, he would not have been the wide receiver five and fantasy points per game.
63:00So everybody's looking at that and saying, I mean, I'm, I can get a wider, a top five wide receiver in the second round.
63:07And it's like, it's not really how this is working.
63:10And you're depending like, what's the big freaking difference between George pickings and T Higgins.
63:14What, what outside of ADP there, they're both the, the entrenched wide receiver two on the offense.
63:20Yes. I think see Georgia stayed a little healthier over the last couple of seasons.
63:24I would say that's the big one is health to me is probably the only real difference, right?
63:29Fair. But, but how much heavy lifting is last year, George pick and season doing for him and people last year were,
63:36I mean, do we pounded the table for him last year?
63:39We said Dallas was going to be the Cincinnati Bengals of the South and George Pickens was, was a steal at a water super three price tag.
63:48And now everybody's like, bro, top 12 price tags.
63:50Let's go. And I'm like, I mean, it's getting pricey out here, dude.
63:54It's getting very pricey. It is. And this economy, it absolutely is.
63:58It's not crazy. Not at all. Like I don't, I don't find myself drafting it much at all to be honest.
64:04Okay. Yeah. And you were all in last year.
64:07So certainly, you know, this is never about us disliking talent, us disliking players about disliking the price.
64:12Right. And that's what we have to keep our heads on a swivel for is those changes in that ADP in those ECR rankings guys and gals.

65:04This is Angie Martinez from IRL podcast here to tell you about something new and delicious from McDonald's.
65:10So they just released an all new Caesar sauce.
65:13That is a creamy blend of rich Parmesan, zesty lemon and bold garlic flavors.
65:17The sauce on a chicken Caesar snack wrap or the McCrispy strips delicious, which by the way, the crispy strips are even crispier now.
65:24And that combination is perfect from McDonald's. And for a drink, I'll probably have a nice cold Sprite to go along with that perfectly.
65:31And I will be a happy girl. So don't take my word for it.
65:36Try it out for yourself for a limited time while supplies last at participating McDonald's.
