Blake Corum

PositiveValue15:40

Pat Fitzmaurice and Scott Pianowski both favor Blake Corum at his current ADP. Fitzmaurice notes Corum could eat into Kyron Williams' workload more than last year, while Pianowski projects a 60-40 backfield split, suggesting Corum will see significant usage and could be the more productive back in certain game scripts.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveInjury26:08

Despite concerns about his health, Breece Hall is considered a lock for Week 1, with recent viral footage of him performing physical tasks suggesting he is healthy.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue25:53

Scott Pianowski identifies Deandre Swift as a target in the RB2 tier, describing him as an overlooked, boring middle-of-career veteran. Pianowski trusts the Chicago offense and believes Swift is a solid player who has been undervalued since his departure from Detroit.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection12:12

Scott Pianowski highlights Derrick Henry as a more reliable, 'proof of concept' pick compared to younger, unproven backs. Pianowski notes that Henry is a lock for high touchdown volume, specifically pointing out that while other elite runners like Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, and Josh Allen have fewer rushing touchdowns from the five-yard line, Henry remains a consistent scoring threat.

Insight page
PositiveValue24:20

Derrick Henry is considered a safer second-round pick than Saquon Barkley by Scott Pianowski, who compares Henry's longevity to Nolan Ryan, noting that despite age concerns, no decline has appeared on the field or in efficiency metrics.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeBust26:50

Jadarian Price is a fade candidate due to a crowded backfield, the return of Zach Charbonnet, and concerns regarding his prospect profile, specifically his lack of workhorse usage and fumbling issues.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveValue27:29

James Cook is a target for rosters this year, viewed as an early second-round pick who can be taken in the first round in an emergency; he is preferred over Jonathan Taylor due to a better offensive environment.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveBreakout22:02

Jonah Coleman is a high-upside rookie who could outproduce his ECR; he is decisive with good contact balance and pass-catching ability. Sean Payton's early removal of him in the preseason suggests he has already secured a significant role in the Broncos' backfield.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeValue27:29

Jonathan Taylor is viewed as a viable pick, but analysts are siding with James Cook due to concerns about the Colts' offensive situation, including injuries to receivers and Daniel Jones' health.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeValue14:10

Pat Fitzmaurice argues Kyron Williams is undervalued, noting he has finished as an RB1 or high-end RB2 in fantasy points per game for three consecutive seasons. Despite concerns about Blake Corum, Fitzmaurice believes the Rams' high-powered offense and favorable game scripts make Williams a strong bet to finish in RB1 range again. Scott Pianowski agrees Williams is generally underrated but expresses concern that the Rams' low target rate for running backs and Corum's emergence could lead to a 60-40 split.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeValue6:41

Pat Fitzmaurice argues Hampton is ranked too high at RB9, noting that while he showed flashes as a rookie, he only played nine games due to an ankle injury. Mike McDaniel has indicated a desire to use a committee approach with Keaton Mitchell and Kamani Vidal, making it difficult to project Hampton's volume. Fitzmaurice cautions against projecting Devon Achane-like production onto Hampton, as they are different body types, and notes that Achane's career-high 14.9 carries per game is likely the ceiling Hampton investors are hoping to exceed.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeBust17:17

Pat Fitzmaurice and Scott Pianowski both view Quinchon Judkins as a major bust candidate. Concerns include the Browns' poor offensive line (ranked 32nd), a bleak quarterback situation, and Judkins' recovery from a major leg injury (dislocated ankle and fractured fibula). Fitzmaurice also notes that Judkins may cede passing-down work to Dylan Sampson.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveValue20:56

Scott Pianowski prefers drafting Rhamondre Stevenson over Travion Henderson as a 'boring veteran value' who goes later in drafts, noting Stevenson is 25 pounds heavier and a candidate for goal-line work, despite concerns about fumbles.

Insight page
NegativeRole30:33

Pat Fitzmaurice questions the consensus that Ramondre Stevenson is locked in as the Patriots' lead back. While acknowledging he was the lead back in the playoffs, Fitzmaurice points to Stevenson's low explosive play rate (three runs of 40+ yards in five years) and a 2% career fumble rate as reasons why his role might not be as secure as the market assumes.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeBust22:45

RJ Harvey is viewed as a disappointment who failed to capitalize on opportunities after J.K. Dobbins' injury last season; Scott Pianowski suggests he may be a drop candidate by mid-season given the team's proactive drafting of Jonah Coleman.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue25:05

Saquon Barkley is ranked higher than Derrick Henry by Fitzy due to age-related actuarial concerns, though both are viewed as excellent second-round picks.

0:21Welcome back to the Fantasy Fest. It is Ranks time.
0:23Ladies and gentlemen, RB, wide receiver coming up in a little bit.
0:27We are tackling the ranks. And would you know it, this is a ranks crew I've worked with before.
0:33I've got Pat Fitzmaurice, who is my ranks buddy.
0:35We've been doing this for years. And we even were doing shows with Scott Pianowski a couple years ago as we were talking ranks.
0:42We're talking RBs. Scott, it is great to see you, my friend.
0:46How are you? Doing great. Doing great. By the way, very excited to see that the draft assistant comes with a free show.
0:53Shipping and handling. It's a nice touch. Kudos to the graphic crew just crushing it on that segment.
0:58But anytime I can talk football with two of my good friends and running backs, right?
1:03The position that matters. If you had the genie that gave you the answers at one position, you would ask for the running back answers.
1:10So let's try to be the genie in the bottle today.
1:13Yeah. And by the way, I felt like I sounded like I did go through puberty.
1:18I lost my voice earlier. Like I sounded so young.
1:21I did do that video. I think like the voiceover a couple of years ago.
1:25I was like, God, I sound so young. By the way, in the middle of the last segment, Fitzy messages me going,
1:32I now can't unsee the John Lackey thing. I'm so glad I said that.
1:36It's like literally one of the like every person I've ever been said you look like they're all just offensive.
1:42And I'm just like, okay, but the John Lackey one does follow me.
1:45So Fitzy, thank you for now being unable to see.
1:48You breathe out of your nose. John Lackey breathes out of his mouth is a big distinction.
1:53That's true. That's true. But I had John Lackey on a long running American League only fantasy baseball team when he was
2:00at the absolute height of his powers with the angels.
2:03He's probably like my all time franchise leader in career wins.
2:06Got two championships with him in a four year run.
2:09So like seeing you, well, it's going to bring back good memories now.
2:13Great. Well, I hope I can bring back like the thank him for the 4.46 ERA had with the Red Sox.
2:19Those are good times. All the football people are like, what are we talking about?
2:23It's baseball, but we've got football for you. So we are talking about our RB ranks and we are going to be
2:30digging in on the fantasy pros ECR. We're actually going to be looking at the top 36 running backs and how this
2:36is going to go is we're looking at RB ones, twos and threes.
2:40And we've got Fitzy who is kind of picked out a player.
2:43We've got a couple different categories of maybe a guy misranked, a guy too high.
2:48And then we're going to have both of you guys break these down.
2:52But I would encourage everybody in the chat. It's RB time.
2:55So if you want to get your questions started, let's talk about some running backs.
2:59Put them in there. Seth is going to be picking them out.
3:03And then the last 10 minutes or so, depending where we are on time, we're going to bring up and talk about some RB questions.
3:10So let's take a look at the big board and let's take a look at the top 12 running backs.
3:16According to ECR right now, the crew and the names that you know, Jameer Gibbs at one, B.
3:21John Robinson at two, Christian McCaffrey at three, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook.
3:25There's your top five. Chase Brown at six, Saquon Barkley at seven, Devon Achan at eight.
3:30O'Marion Hampton at nine, Derek Henry at 10 with Ken Walker and the falling Ashton Gentty.
3:34Gentty obviously with the injury scare, we've seen some adjustment.
3:37I think I've even seen him in some spots go as low as 15.
3:41If you guys want the latest, as far as ADP goes, check out real ADP on fantasy pros.
3:47But this is where the expert, the expert consensus rank has it.
3:50And first up here in looking at these running backs, a running back that is ranked too high in the top 12.
3:57Can they really be ranked too high? Fitzy, you picked out a name for us.
4:01So you give us the running back in the top 12 that is too high.
4:05And then we are going to see what Scott Pianowski thinks.
4:09I really don't have that much of a beef with O'Marion Hampton's ADP become two spots lower.
4:14And Hampton was a pretty exciting prospect, big back with good speed, who caught a bunch of passes in college.
4:19Now he's in seemingly a really good spot with Mike McDaniel running that offense.
4:24The Chargers offensive line should be much better than it was last year with improved health, although they've already lost center Tyler Biotic to a season ending injury.
4:32Thing is, McDaniel has been pretty forthcoming about wanting to use all of Hampton, Keaton Mitchell and Kamani Vidal.
4:37And Mitchell and Vidal are pretty good for backups.
4:40And honestly, we don't know what Hampton is yet.
4:43Like we only got nine games out of him as a rookie and he broke his ankle in week five, didn't come back until week 14.
4:50He did give us five touchdowns in nine games and had 32 catches in those nine games with five or more catches in four of them.
4:58So that was encouraging. 129 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown against Denver in week three.
5:03That's a defense that eats glass. So that was good.
5:06165 yards from scrimmage and a TD against a much worse Giants defense the following week.
5:10That was his only hundred yard rushing game. I just I don't think we can look at what Devon H and did
5:17with Mike McDaniel in Miami and project that onto a Marion Hampton in L.A.
5:21These are just two really different backs, wildly different body types.
5:24And by the way, H and topped out at 14.9 carries a game last season.
5:28That was a career high. And I'm sure Hampton investors, especially if they're drafting him RB nine, are hoping for more rushing volume than that.
5:36So like some basically just it comes down to this.
5:39Like we know what the other RB ones are other than not knowing exactly how Andy Reid and Eric B enemy are
5:45going to use Kenneth Walker in Kansas City. But still, we know what Kenneth Walker is.
5:50There's proof of concept with all the RB ones.
5:53Hampton is in this Mike McDaniel offense with two pretty talented running backs.
5:56It's just hard to project what sort of numbers that situation is going to produce.
6:01Interesting note when you look and we can look on ECR, we can look at individual rankers.
6:06We have multiple people that have them as the third highest running back.
6:10I say we it's industry. It's all the industry people that are submitting.
6:13There are a couple people that have him in the top three and there are six that have him as a top five running back.
6:21That is more people than that have them as a 16 or worse.
6:25So there are more people ranking as a top five overall back than there are being 16 or behind is RB nine to high.
6:32Scott Pianowski, what do you think? You know, Pat, Pat gave such a complete answer.
6:36I'm not sure what there is left for me to say.
6:39I have a bunch of points and I was just checking them off, you know, the offensive line McDaniel, the loss of the center.
6:46I was even going to use the term proof of concept and Pat took that off the board, too.
6:52I do think the top 12 running backs, the listing is pretty tight and I don't have major quibbles with it.
6:58I have a lot of teams I've started with running back running back starts and I think those are teams that I
7:04really like because the receiver is deep enough to start hitting in the third, fourth, fifth round, sixth round.
7:10So some of the teams I've built the fantasy index mock draft, I started with two running backs, five receivers, and that's
7:16my favorite team I've drafted all season in part because it's been injury free for the summer.
7:21But I just I'm a half step behind on Hampton for the reasons Pat outlined.
7:26And and I'd also, you know, I'd like to have somebody a little bit more solidified that proof of concept.
7:32I mean, Derrick Henry is going to fall into the end zone 14 times.
7:36Did you know in the last four seasons by the way Lamar Jackson has two rushing touchdowns from the five yard line
7:42and in compared to Jalen Hurts is 39 and Josh Allen has 33.
7:46I mean, Derrick Henry scored twice since we started this segment.
7:49Hampton's not a bad pick for me, but I can't say he's a proactive pick either.
7:54Uh, Hampton comes in at 13 in our projections, uh, as far as running back goes 13th overall, and then really ADP he's 11.
8:01So it kind of speaks to this with an ECR of nine ADP is going lower projections have them even a little
8:08bit lower, but I know he is a popular pick.
8:10All right, let's now move to the RB twos.
8:13We're looking at half, uh, half PPR ECR. These are going to be 13 through 24 looking at the big board.
8:19As you guys can see, we've got Kyron Williams coming in at 13.
8:23Javante Williams at 14. Brees Hall, Josh Jacobs, Jeremiah Lovett, 17.
8:26Travis HN at 18 with Deandre Swift, Cam Scadaboo, Bucky Irving, Quinchon, Judkins, David Montgomery, and Basial Tootin rounding out that becomes our 24.
8:33So in this segment, we are going to be talking about miss tiered running backs.
8:38So Pat, you're going to give us the positive and negative miss tiered running back from this tier.
8:43And then we're going to see if Scott's going to agree with you.
8:47So what is your positive and negative from this tier two RB?
8:50All right. Positive. Ever since Kyron Williams became the Rams lead running back, it seems like fantasy people have been predicting his demise.
8:57Um, Kyron has scored 15, 16 and 13 touchdowns over the last three years.
9:01Getting that sort of TD production from one of your lineup spots, basically a touchdown per game.
9:06That's so valuable. Um, the Rams were one of the best teams in the NFL last season, and they have since added
9:13Miles Garrett and the two starting cornerbacks from the Chiefs.
9:16The Rams should pretty constantly have run friendly game scripts this year, you would think, uh, as loaded as they are.
9:22Plus Sean McVay is one of the best run game designers in the league and no team is going to stack the
9:28box against the Rams when Puka Niku and Devante Adams are on the field.
9:32Um, now I do think Blake Corum is a really good player who could eat into Kyron's workload even more than he did last year.
9:40I like Corum at his price more than Kyron at his.
9:43But, Kyron Williams has finished RB2, RB8 and RB11 in half point PPR fantasy points per game over the last three years.
9:49So it's not exactly a bold prediction to say I think Kyron Williams could finish in RB1 range for a fourth straight season.
9:56And by the way, it's Kyron Williams' birthday today.
9:59He turned 26, so happy birthday, Kyron. Oh, he's on.
10:02He's almost, he's got to retire. Let's get his ARP card from the NFL at 26.
10:06He's got two more, I think, good year. Do you guys see that stat by the way?
10:11That it was like, it showed, you know, when Nick Chubb retired, it was like Sony Michelle, Nick Chubb, Todd Gurley.
10:18And it's like all three are retired and they're all under 33 years old.
10:22And you're just like, what crazy? What are you talking about?
10:25They should be 50 based on my brain with that.
10:28So I love that. Happy birthday to Kyron Williams.
10:30Uh, what's your negative or, uh, that was too low.
10:33So then what is your too high? Yeah. Uh, quinch on Judkins.
10:37And, and I get that he has sort of a workhorse profile, although it does seem like he's probably going to come
10:43off the field for Dylan Sampson on passing downs.
10:46Maybe not though, because I know they felt they couldn't use him on passing downs last year because he missed all of training camp.
10:53So maybe, maybe he does play more on third downs this year, but the issue is that the Browns offense could very
11:00well be the worst in the league. Uh, their quarterback situation is bleak to put it mildly.
11:05They, they've added talent to their offensive line in the off season.
11:08But now the offensive line is a bunch of guys who've never played together before.
11:12And Judkins is coming off a pretty major leg injury, dislocated his right ankle and fractured his fibula in week 16.
11:19I know he's looked good in camp videos, but it wouldn't be that shocking if he got off to a slow start
11:25due to lingering effects of that injury. Mostly it's about just not wanting to hitch my wagon at all to the Cleveland Browns offense.
11:32When you're teeing off and your clients are watching, it's on.
11:35When the game goes to overtime and your squad is right there with you, it's on.
11:40When you swap out that other nicotine pouch for something softer and feel the difference right away, it's on.
11:46On plus nicotine pouches with Nico silk mesh, no corners, no rough edges, just the softest pouch on the planet.

11:59Nicotine is an addictive chemical. This is Matt Rogers from Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang.
12:05This is Bowen Yang from Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang.
12:09You know when people try on new food and suddenly it's like, wait.
12:12That's the reaction a lot of people are having when they first try Kewpie Mayo.
12:17It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle.
12:21You've probably seen it in the grocery store before.
12:24And if you've ever just walked past it, some people would say that's a huge mistake.
12:28Because this mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs.
12:31Kewpie only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor.
12:35It's smoother, deeper, and almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything.
12:39Egg sandwiches, fries, burgers. Some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it.
12:43And once you notice it, you start seeing it everywhere.
12:46Chefs use it. Restaurants use it. People who really care about flavor use it.
12:51Never tried it? Grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're at the store.
12:55Put it on just about anything. Then you'll understand.

13:18You know, it's interesting about that. Me and Bogman just did an in this league episode talking about league losers and winners.
13:24And really what it was, was it was aggregating and was looking around and trying to aggregate who other people are talking about.
13:31And we were, you know, looking for the term bus and Bogman put this together.
13:35No running back had more aggregation of being a bus this year than Quinch on Judkins.
13:40He was the number and he was like the number one player of all the positions of the amount of different articles
13:47from around the fantasy landscape that have tabbed him as a bus this year.
13:51So it's really, really interesting. So, Scott, we're going to throw this to you then.
13:55Kyron Williams is ranked too low. Quinch on Judkins is too high.
13:59Do you agree? And even if not, is there a player that qualifies for you in this list that you would like to throw out?
14:06But I'd love to get your Kyron Williams and Judkins thoughts.
14:09Yeah, strong agreement on Judkins. It takes a village to prop up a fantasy running back.
14:14And what does he have? A team projected for five and a half wins.
14:18A team with the worst quarterback clown car in the league.
14:21And a team when I last looked at the consensus offensive line rankings, including fantasy pros rankings with a bunch of other sites I respect.
14:29The Cleveland Browns were ranked 32nd. Last I checked, there were 32 teams in the NFL.
14:33So no part of Judkins on my team. I respect Williams.
14:36I agree with Pat's assessment that he's generally been underrated and maybe we've been gulling him a little bit too much when he's been a solid player.
14:44But he's not going to catch the ball because the Rams throw to their running backs less than anybody else.
14:50And I can't unsee what Corum did maybe the second half of the last eight or 10 games last year where he
14:57produced about a 900 yard pace with seven or eight touchdowns in a full season.
15:01I think it's a 60-40 in that backfield. I think it could be a hot hand situation or God forbid anybody fumbles or blows the foot assignment.
15:09Maybe somebody gets moved ahead of somebody else. There will be games where I think Corum is the more productive back or
15:16he just gets into a rhythm and maybe they ride with that.
15:19So they're both good players. They're both going to play.
15:22Of course, it's the Rams. It's McVay. It's a team with positive game script.
15:26It's probably the best and most complete team in the NFL.
15:29So I don't mind drafting Williams. I'd rather take Corum at ADP.
15:33So that lines up with Pat as well. And anytime we agree, I feel better.
15:37I will say the guy I'm really targeting in this tier and a lot of my teams are going to start with running back.
15:44So maybe I wouldn't draft somebody in this second tier, the 13 to 24.
15:48But on some leagues, I will get a third running back if I need that second one.
15:53I think the Andre Swift with Mononga dinged up an offense.
15:57I trust. I just think he's been a good player and an overlooked player because he got kind of run out of town Detroit.
16:04He landed on his feet in Chicago. I think he's just one of those boring middle of career veterans that sometimes tend to be overpriced.
16:11I find myself with a lot of Swift shares as we had in the late August.
16:16And by the way, not only is today somebody's birthday, today's also national dog day.
16:20So shout out to my pit bull Jimmy. He's just a lovely yellow dog.
16:24He's having a great day today. August 26th and DD why we planned Jake to have his dogs on camera.
16:30Clearly, we knew that we just didn't have a graphic made for it.
16:34But yes, shout out. Shout out to all the dogs.
16:37I will say interesting thing on the Bears thing.
16:39That same thing kind of talking about the aggregation that I mentioned common on guy was the second most league winner running
16:46back that was written about across the land. Corey Krosky merit was number one offensive line.
16:51Very, very interesting list here. We're going to be talking about the tier three of running backs and someone outside of the
16:57top 36 and what we might be looking at.
17:00But how would you like to know what your league mates are going to do?
17:04You can get a little look over and you could see their cue.
17:08Well, we can't give you their cue, but we can give you a secret weapon for your fantasy draft this year.
17:14And it's draft Intel sync your league for free to uncover how your league and mates draft.
17:19Then you can use those tendencies in our mock draft simulator.
17:22Prepare with a mock draft that feels like the real thing.
17:26Get started. Get the Intel at fantasypros.com slash Intel.
17:28That's fantasypros.com slash Intel. Expose your leagues, draft tendencies, and get ahead of the game.
17:33All right. We are going to the RB3 territory here.
17:36And that list from 25 to 36 on the big board.
17:39We've got Travion Henderson in tier three at 25.
17:41Jadarian Price at 26. Ramondre Stevenson, Jalen Warren, Tony Pollard, Rico Dattle comes in at 30.
17:46Jonathan Brooks at 31. J.K. Dobbins, Chuba Hubbard, Blake Corum, Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt, and R.J.
17:50Harvey. That is the list. So now which running back do you believe can jump into the RB2 or RB1 territory?
17:56If you could pick one from this group, Pat, who is the biggest potential riser?
18:01And there I think there's like clearly names were probably would never account for this, but there's at least a handful of
18:07guys that there are some huge, big feelings on and people are making some big bets on.
18:12Who's the guy that you think can make that jump?
18:15I cannot wait to see what my golf buddy Scott Pianowski says about this because he is a New England native.
18:21And I really like the idea of betting on Travion Henderson this year.
18:25And it's funny over the last week or two, it seems like there's been a noticeable shift of opinion on the New England backfield all offseason.
18:33Everyone considered it ambiguous. And now it seems like most people are leaning into the idea that Ramondre is going to be the lead guy.
18:40And I'm not saying that opinion is wrong, but I do question the level of scrutiny in that opinion.
18:46I mean, nothing ever changes in the NFL, right?
18:48Everything stays static. Ramondre was the Patriots lead back in the playoffs, so he's just automatically going to be the lead back again.
18:55Situation is completely calcified. No, I'm not trying to be a smart aleck.
18:59And I do realize that Mike Vrabel has kind of an old school approach and is going to make Travion earn his stripes.
19:06But when Stevenson missed three games last year, Henderson had 330 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns in those three games.
19:12He was RB3 in fantasy scoring over that stretch.
19:14And Henderson also had two other two touchdown games when Ramondre was playing.
19:18Henderson had four runs of 40 or more yards last year.
19:21I think they might have all gone over 50 yards.
19:24Stevenson has three runs of 40 or more yards over his five-year NFL career.
19:28So I think we know the more explosive guys.
19:31And people don't really talk about it anymore, but Ramondre Stevenson has fumbled on 2% of his carries over his career, which
19:37is not the sort of fumble rate that endears you to coaches.
19:41Now, the Fantasy Pro's real-time ADP tool, and shout out to our developers for coming up with the best ADP tracker in the business.
19:48Real-time ADP shows that Travion Henderson's ADP has dropped 3.7 spots in the last seven days.
19:53His ADP now sits in the early sixth round rather than the late fifth round.
19:57I hope that ADP keeps sliding because it's like, I want to have Travion Henderson on at least a couple of the
20:03teams I'm going to be drafting over the next 10 days.
20:07And by the way, I just looked at it.
20:09It's actually 5.4. He continues to drop like it.
20:12And that is definitely why you want to check out that tool.
20:15Seven days, 24 hours, real-time gives you a really good look.
20:19So, Mr. Pianowski, buy or sell Travion Henderson has the highest boom potential, if you will, of any of these running backs in Tier 3.
20:26Yeah, I'll sign off on that. Obviously excited about Henderson's ceiling.
20:29We know last year he had a great camp and became a buzz player, became a helium player, and didn't pay it off.
20:36But I want to approach this backfield kind of in the same, in general sense, the same way we used to look
20:42at the Lions backfield when they had Gibbs and they had Montgomery, where everybody knew Gibbs was the home run hitter and Montgomery was the more grinder back.
20:51They were both going to play. They were both probably going to be productive in fantasy staples.
20:56Stevenson is 25 pounds thicker, give or take, pound than Henderson.
20:59So, it makes sense that maybe Stevenson would be the goal line guy, although Pat mentions the fumbles and every coach hates fumbling.
21:06And you always wonder if somebody coughs it up a couple of times, if the roles could be flipped a little bit.
21:12But I've been generally taking Stevenson just because he's the boring veteran value who goes a little bit later.
21:18Henderson, they didn't hand him anything last year. They made him work for it.
21:22And I think even at their best, you're hoping to get 13 to 15 touches from these guys.
21:27I think the idea that either one of them will be a bell cow is probably not going to happen.
21:33New England also has a mobile quarterback and Drake may he'll take some of the production off the table.
21:39So, I see the case for Henderson. I'm okay with Henderson at cost.
21:42I'm not going to reach for him, but my draft profile and maybe even my draft strategy has led me to more Stevenson shares so far.
21:50All right. The final thing in here with a little lightning round on it so we can get to a few of
21:56these RB questions, but outside the top 36. So, not on this tier that we've talked about.
22:01If Fitzy, you could pick one running back that you want to lock into that's got the potential to out produce their ECR.
22:08By the way, I love this name because I got screamed about by doing this name as well on a short.
22:14So, I already know who it is. So, why don't you let everybody else know this outside the top 36 running back who can beat their ECR?
22:22Jonah Coleman, Broncos rookie. Not fast, but I think pure speed is really his only shortcoming.
22:27Like he's decisive, good contact balance, hard to tackle.
22:30Good as both pass catcher and pass blocker. Sean Payton took Coleman out of the Broncos first preseason game early on and
22:36was asked after the game why Coleman came out so early.
22:39And his answer was, I didn't need to see additional evidence of what I've been seeing for the last three weeks.
22:45We know Dobbins is a worrisome injury history. RJ Harvey wasn't good after Dobbins got hurt last season.
22:51Sean Payton routinely deployed like two and three man backfields in New Orleans.
22:55Coleman is going to play and he might wind up playing a lot.
22:58Scott, what do you think about Jonah Coleman? I like him.
23:02I agree that the biggest takeaway for me is that Harvey really dropped his opportunity last year.
23:07Dobbins got hurt and Harvey was a great disappointment.
23:09I realized the touchdown deodorant made everything kind of smell good at the end.
23:13But if they were in love with Harvey, they wouldn't have drafted Coleman as proactively as he did.
23:19He's a perfect prototype NFL body. I think RJ Harvey might be a player people are cutting in the middle of the season.
23:25Well, let's see what the people want with their running backs and their questions.
23:30But before we do it, let's talk about the draft simulator because you can practice your drafts.
23:34You can practice them at an elite level and you can practice making the playoffs because you're going to be there.

24:01However you want to do it. We got you covered.

24:08Or you can do it on the fantasy pros app.
24:11Realistic mocks in minutes, my friends. All right. Let's see what RB questions we have got here.
24:16Um, let's see. Let's do this one. Gentie and Smith or King Henry and flowers.
24:20So the classic, which RB with which wide receiver would you want early RB early wide receiver?
24:25Uh, Fitzy, which grouping? The only problem is I don't want both Henry and flowers together.
24:30So I guess Gentie and Devante Smith, although I do now post injury, I'm Henry ranked ahead of Gentie.
24:35Okay. What do you think Scott? I definitely agree with the Baltimore guys other than the fact that I don't want the
24:42two Ravens who can't score in concert together, but Derrick Henry is going to fall in the end zone 14 times and man, they cannot cover flowers downfield.
24:50The guy moves like a slinky. I can't wait to see what Declan Doyle does with that offense.
24:55So I'd prefer not to double up on an offense, but I think you get more value from the two Baltimore picks.
25:02A lot of Barkley questions. I see in a standard league.
25:05Would you take Henry or Barkley Scott? Yeah, I'm going to go Henry again there, although they're in the same bucket for me.
25:12And I think they're both excellent second round picks.
25:14It's in fact, if I had that choice 10 times in 10 leagues, I'd probably set six, four, seven, three, but Henry
25:21to me feels a little bit safer. Fitzy. I've got Barkley ranked higher.
25:25I just, my actuarial tables tell me to avoid that 33 year old running back.
25:29Absolutely no sign of decline. Maybe it's coming. That's true.
25:32I know. You can see like the decline coming because his efficiency went down last year with Henry.
25:37The idea that he's getting any at all worse that it's caught up to him.
25:42It's all on spec because none of it has shown up on the field or in the sets.
25:47He isn't actually human. So we can't hold him to human standards.
25:50Well, you know, I made the comp pad about a week or two ago.
25:55I said, I think the real comp for him, it isn't any football player.
25:59It's Nolan Ryan. Yeah. Oh, wow. That's a good, a lot of baseball in this segment.
26:03I like it from guys that like some baseball, uh, Brees Hall or Jeremiah love Fitzy.
26:08It's still Jeremiah love for me. Yeah. I hate to, I hate to ever pick a jet, but Jeremiah loves hurt right now.
26:15And there's decent players behind him. Give me Brees Hall.
26:18It's a funny video going around, uh, Arizona cause I live in Arizona.
26:22People showing Brees Hall was like delivering pizza and he's like running up the stairs.
26:26He's got a bunch of pizza and everyone's like, he's healthy week one, lock it in.
26:31And it's like that's fantasy football season. There you go.
26:34Just delivering some pizzas. That means he's healthy. Don't deliver it to Roy Williams.
26:38Cause he was famous for not tipping the pizza guy.
26:41Although I think he actually came around on it.
26:43He said, I thank you for coming, but no, I don't leave a tip.
26:47That's awful. Uh, Jadarian price ranked too low. Scott.
26:50It's going to be a slow on board. They have multiple guys.
26:54I even think Barner might be a short yardage specialist like he was last year.
26:58I've had a hard time signing up for price.
27:01No, I don't remember. We've done this a couple of times.
27:04Are you high or low on a price fade for me?
27:07Um, not only a slow on board, Scott, but like just as the most, most important weeks of the fantasy season, come
27:13up, uh, back comes Zach Charbonnet to, to mess with prices role.
27:17Plus like the prospect profiles, a little iffy never got to see him do workhorse duty.
27:22Didn't catch a lot of passes fumbled quite a bit.
27:25So I'm just, I'm not there with price. Uh, I'm looking to draft cook over Taylor thoughts.
27:30Fitzy. I'm okay with it. I've kind of gone back and forth on those two, but yeah, just cooks in the better offensive environment.
27:37So I'm, I'm on board. We know deeper would be with that.
27:40What do you think about that? Scott? Yeah, I talked about that fancy index draft.
27:45I did. I started with Taylor and cook. So I like both of those guys, but to me, cook is an early
27:51second round pick, but you take him in the first round in case of emergency.
27:55You break the glass. If you're nervous about Indianapolis, all the receivers are hurt.
28:00Daniel Jones coming off a major injury. I think siding with cook would be perfectly reasonable.
28:04I, I, James cook. I want on rosters this year.
28:07A lot of James cook stuff here. We'll do two more.
28:10Keep scat in the 13th round or a Marian Hampton in the fifth round.
28:15We'll go to you, Scott. Yeah. I'm not even a scatty guy, but you hit that value is so screaming.
28:20I think you have to take scatty. Yeah. Fitzy.
28:23Same. It's that good. I think so. Okay. I mean, you know, I'm a little bit dicey on just like what they
28:29think of scatty, but it is like a huge round value there.
28:33I will say this to some degree when you're getting a good value on either player, some people would say just take
28:39the player you prefer and don't get caught up in the extra value because if Hampton ends up being better than scatty,
28:46boo, you're just going to be mad. You didn't keep the better player.
28:50I do see some school of thought with that, but the gap in rounds is so significant that unless you hate scatty,
28:56boo, I think you have to keep them. And a shout out to we, if people don't know, we've got a brand new dynasty channel.
29:04It's its own channel here on fantasy pros. So make sure you go and check that out.
29:09All these things are discussed. It's I mean, Fitzy lives on there.
29:12It's worm. It's Bogman. So make sure if you got any dynasty questions, not that you can't answer or ask them.
29:18I don't want them here, but we got you covered and it's got its own channel.
29:23Final one. What will Bill Krosky merits role in the backfield?
29:26What's that share going to look like to you?
29:29Fitz. Messy, uh, plurality of the work, but not a majority of the work.
29:33Maybe like 40% of the backfield touches 45%. What do you think, Scott?
29:37Do you agree with that? I like Bill more than I like the situation.
29:41He's a two down guy and the offensive line is terrible.
29:44They obviously brought Rashad white in for a specific thing to catch passes.
29:48And Jaden Daniels just took seven 25 and seven off the table.
29:51So married in the, you know, JC, I'm in the right situation.
29:55Uh, cross you married. I'd be in on, I just think Washington looks like the wrong situation right now.
30:00He's one of those guys. You're just like, look at this opportunity and he's priced low, but you're just like, Oh, like the office.
30:08I'm just like so worried about it. And it's like, if they cannot move and can't run the ball, it's like, this
30:14is built for Rashad white, but it'll see if they give up every opportunity.
30:18And we'll know what you guys think. Thank you guys so much for the RB ranks episode.
30:23And Scott, thank you so much for hanging out with us.
30:26Always love doing it. We've done rank episodes forever.
30:29You have been a, uh, staple of the fantasy fest.
30:32So we really appreciate your brother. And Fitzy is not going anywhere because we've got wide receiver ranks coming up.
30:38Roto world, Patrick Doherty is coming up. So don't go anywhere.
30:41More wide receiver ranks right here on the fantasy fest.
