Aaron Jones

NegativeRole25:48

Fully healthy Aaron Jones projects as RB14 due to bellcow status with 80.4% snap share and 72% backfield XFP; however, an injury will require a downward adjustment to his ranking. With Mason on IR for at least three more games, Aaron Jones' availability is uncertain heading into Week 3, making his status a critical question mark for Week 3 fantasy planning.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveMatchup19:00

Recommended start in Week 3 despite poor early-season performance ('played like absolute dog water to start the season'). Baker is historically one of the best quarterbacks in the league against the blitz; Tampa Bay's defense is blitz-heavy, creating open windows as Tampa's second-level players blitz, allowing Baker to find soft spots downfield. While he has four turnovers and seven sacks in two games and ranks bottom three in EPA per drop back, the source expects him to regress toward his career average given his historical track record. The source states 'Baker should be able to find the soft spot. I feel really good about this.'

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeInjury37:52

Carries a heavy injury designation but is still projected as a low-end TE1; the source flags him as a player to monitor closely, noting that reports from Jake Glazer and Ian Rappaport will determine whether he's a full decoy or capable of contributing, making him a conditional start pending injury updates. Preferred over Jawan Johnson in tight end comparison for Week 3.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection5:25

Brock Purdy is ranked as a top-three quarterback for fantasy this week. Since the start of last season, he ranks behind only Josh Allen in fantasy points per game and leads all quarterbacks in fantasy points per drop back (0.87 vs. Josh Allen's 0.58). Against Arizona's base defense, this represents a major advantage. The source calls him 'a really underrated real life NFL quarterback' and 'a great fantasy quarterback as well,' noting he's been their biggest fan since he came out. Purdy's historical performance against base defense specifically (0.87 FPPD) significantly exceeds Josh Allen's overall average (0.58 FPPD), making this a prime matchup.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveProjection21:42

Usage and volume analysis supports Bucky Irving as a fringe RB1: he ranks 7th in snap share and 5th in target share, and has posted an all-time great rookie season by fantasy points per snap. The source finds this math compelling even in a tough Week 3 matchup, noting this was a point of initial disagreement but the data supports the ranking.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveUsage11:51

Unbelievable usage with 34% first-read target share and 23.4 XFP per game; clear WR1 in high-powered Cowboys offense. Key to Dallas's passing attack against Baltimore.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeProjection22:22

The source assesses Chris Godwin as completely washed: his separation score ranks 62nd of 76 wide receivers, and he has fewer first-read targets than Ted Hurst. The source plans to push Godwin down in projections.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection42:27

Key beneficiary of Tyler Shuck's high-volume passing attack. Over his nine games since the Rasheed Shahid trade last year, averages 21.3 fantasy points per game, 20.4 XFP per game, and 3.6 yards per route run—all top-five numbers over this span.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection5:47

Christian McCaffrey is an easy RB1 this week. Against two-high coverage, his target per route run jumps from 0.21 to a team-high 0.31, and his target share increases from 16% to 26%—a significant boost in the passing game. He ranked top-five in XFP last week despite playing only one snap in the fourth quarter of a blowout. Red zone opportunity advantage is decisive: Kalin Black has zero backfield opportunities inside the 10-yard line while McCaffrey has five of five. Concerns about the Kalin Black split in week one were overblown (Black had cramping in Australia).

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveProjection32:36

Mid-range QB1 ranking; Cowboys lead the league in passing yards this year, supporting strong fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveMatchup4:18

Deebo Samuel has the best one-on-one matchup in Week 3 against Arizona's depleted secondary, which is ruled out their three best corners (Will Johnson, Max Melton, Garrett Williams). Arizona plays base coverage at high rates with linebackers who cannot cover, creating a schematic advantage for Deebo. The source projects him to 'eat all day long' in underneath coverage roles. Deebo has historically performed better against two-high coverage (target per route run increases), making him a preferred play over Mike Evans this week despite both being fringe WR2s. The source explicitly states: 'I would expect Debo to eat. I like Debo. Even if Evans is healthy, I think I like Debo more than Evans in this one... just because of the schematics.'

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveMatchup5:20

George Kittle is positioned to exploit Arizona's base coverage scheme in Week 3. The source notes that Kittle and Deebo Samuel underneath should 'just eat all day long' given Arizona's reliance on base coverage with linebackers who cannot cover and their three best corners ruled out. However, Kittle carries usage limitations: he struggles against two-high coverage (target per route run drops 25%), and the 49ers are easing him back from injury with limited route share (57% when controlling for blowout). Ranked as low-end tight end one this week; would be mid-to-high-end TE1 at full usage.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveMatchup33:20

Ranked WR19 (mid-range WR2) with 12.2 XFP per game, but faces brutal schematic matchup against Baltimore, which plays two-high coverage 63% of the time. Target per route run drops to 39%, and he ranks fourth in target hierarchy behind CeeDee Lamb, Terrence Ferguson, and Javante Williams. The source takes the under on his 60-point over/under projection. Against Washington's high-safety coverage scheme in a prior game, Dak Prescott adjusted to throw shorter intermediate routes rather than deep shots; Pickens received 8 targets in that game, showing Dallas will continue to attack coverage tendencies, but the Baltimore matchup presents a more challenging defensive scheme.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveMatchup45:00

Preferred over Jawan Johnson for Week 3 matchup against Saints. Ravens have limited receiving options with Malik Neighbors functioning as a decoy; James Winston averages 50 pass attempts per game with an aggressive air-it-out style, creating target opportunity. Ravens also down Andrew Thomas at left tackle, increasing pass volume and check-down reliance.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeProjection4:41

Ranked RB16 but may be undervalued; top 10 in XFP per team play, top 5 in snap share, and improved target share from last year suggest better volume and utilization. However, game script concern as Cowboys are 3.5-point underdogs, limiting ceiling despite solid metrics.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveRole13:06

Jeremiah Love is currently in a 50/50 backfield committee with Tyler Algier (Love: 20 carries, 3 targets; Algier: 22 carries) but the source expects Love to seize majority of backfield work soon, whether 60% or 70% snap share. Ranked as fringe RB2 for Week 3 based on expected role consolidation. The source states: 'I think it it's only a matter of time until Jeremiah Love seizes the backfield. Whether that's 60% or 70% remains to be seen. But right now, week three, I I feel good about this fringe RB2 ranking.'

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection26:36

Elite receiver status and recent ridiculous target share with Carson Wentz support a high projection, but the source expresses pessimism about Kyler Murray's ability to support a fantasy WR1. Tampa Bay has been strong against receivers this season, shutting down Jamar Chase and T. Higgins. Jefferson remains a clear start despite the elevated projection.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeProjection43:29

Projected as tight end 12 for Week 3. Ranks top eight in fantasy points per game and XFP per game, and top three in routes run—a critical efficiency metric for tight ends. On-the-fence start recommendation due to inconsistent production despite strong efficiency metrics; hasn't been 'killing it' in raw output.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveMatchup30:01

Fifth in target share; mid-range to low-end TE1 ranking. Excellent matchup against Dallas defense, which has given up 8 catches, 78 yards, and 2 TDs to tight ends and is terrible against 12 personnel (51 EPA per play allowed). Source prefers him over TE7 ranking.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveBust15:14

Severe disengagement from offense: 5% target share, 3% separation win rate, 0.0 air yards share. The source emphasizes Harrison is not even running routes—'literally just jogging'—indicating complete lack of involvement. The source declares his fantasy relevance finished, stating 'it's over. It couldn't be any more over than it is,' with comparison to DeVante Adams' Las Vegas exit suggesting the player may not be invested in the current situation.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveMatchup12:00

Michael Wilson is a strong flex play and 'get-right spot' for Week 3 against the 49ers defense. The source defers from script projection (WR39) to recommend Wilson, citing Arizona's offensive bounce-back potential and the 49ers' weak pass rush metrics (bottom of league in pressure rate and pass rush win rate). Michael Wilson has a 20% target share this season and his target per route run increases by 22% against cover-three (which the 49ers play over 50% of the time), jumping above Trey McBride in that coverage. The source explicitly states: 'I love Michael Wilson this week. Take it to the bank.'

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury5:00

Mike Evans carries a hip/hamstring injury concern for Week 3. The source notes that hips and hamstrings are interconnected—hamstring injuries often lead to gait changes that cause hip issues—making Evans a less attractive play than Deebo Samuel despite the favorable matchup against Arizona's depleted secondary. While Evans was a DNP at practice, if he clears health protocols and plays, the matchup itself is favorable given Arizona's three best corners ruled out. However, the injury risk and schematic preference for Deebo make Evans a secondary consideration.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeInjury39:02

Flagged as creating a problematic start/sit dilemma for fantasy managers; the source highlights him as an example of an injured player creating team conflict, noting that a listener has both Nico Collins and Malik Neighbors on the same roster, compounding the injury situation.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveInjury46:26

Unlikely to return for Week 3 matchup against Denver. Absence significantly impacts Rams passing attack distribution and elevates Devonte Adams' target share and projection.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveRole29:10

Currently ranked as a sit with Zay Flowers healthy, but jumps to high-end WR3/low-end WR2 if Flowers is out. Featured in 13 personnel role with strong utilization; conditional start recommendation based on Flowers' injury status.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveProjection48:00

Positioned for a huge game if Puka Nacua is out and Devonte Adams draws Patrick Surtain shadow. Had nine targets last week with six catches for 54 yards and a touchdown, establishing himself as the clear number two receiver by a significant margin (no other receiver had more than two targets). Projection upgraded to TE9 if Puka remains sidelined.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveMatchup39:33

Ranks 7th in yards per route run and sees a 30% increase in production against single-high coverage; New Orleans plays single-high at the league's second-highest rate (67% of snaps), creating a favorable stylistic matchup for Tucker's elite wheels. Recommended as a startable flex option for Week 3; the source says 'Trey Tucker is uh something I wouldn't turn your nose up at this week is all I'm saying,' positioning him as a viable play in desperation situations.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeProjection13:13

Elite tight end production: averages 21.1 PPG over last 14 games with Jacobe Brassette, ranking behind only Puka Nacua and JSN; 1.0 PPG more than Jamar Chase, 1.5 PPG more than Amon-Ra St. Brown. Consistency standout: more games over 27 PPG than under 16 PPG. The source describes McBride as 'the best tight end in football' and recommends starting him, noting he should have gone higher in rookie drafts (fell to pick 112). Primary concern: Carson Beck taking over as QB would reduce tight end volume, as Brassette historically targets TEs at the highest rate in the league.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeRole48:51

Colts offense described as 'broken,' limiting Tyler Warren's fantasy upside despite tight end talent. Unfavorable offensive context reduces his appeal relative to other tight end options like Isaiah Likely and Terrence Ferguson.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury28:26

40/60 chance to play in Week 3 with expected health for Week 4. Despite significant injury concern, projects as WR22 based on elite recent production: 5 catches, 150 yards, and a touchdown on 11 routes, plus one yard shy of another touchdown. Cowboys are the worst defense in football since the start of last season by points per drive allowed, EPA per play allowed, and fantasy points per game allowed to all skill positions, making Flowers a strong start if active.

0:00I said, "I got your care package, by the way."
0:02>> I didn't send you a care package, did I?
0:04>> Yeah, you did, bro.
0:06>> Oh, yeah. What was it?
0:07>> Some flowers, some perfume.
0:10>> So, like in chess, like the AI is going to beat Magnus Carlson like 99 times out of 100, if not 100 times.
0:19>> By the way, Magnus Carlson has never lost to AI, just so you're aware. It's 53 and0. 53 and0.
0:24>> Really?
0:25>> Yeah.
0:26>> How many times did he lose to the guy with the butt plug? All right. Should we get moving?
0:31>> Yeah.
0:31>> You ready?
0:34>> Here we go. You know what I need from you, Scott? Moving forward. So, like when I do first read, Joe always gives
0:40me a primer.
0:42>> Magnus Carlson cannot beat Stockfish in an even standard game of chess. ELO difference. Stockfish is rated over 4,000, which is roughly 800 points
0:49higher than Carlson's peak human rating of around 2,882. So, >> he's 53 and0. I'm telling you, >> AI says you're wrong, but then again,
0:57maybe AI is just going to bat for its buddies.
0:59>> Yeah. I mean, I watch Magnus.
1:01>> AI is better than humans.
1:05>> Who was the chess player with a butt plug?
1:12>> Allegedly.
1:12>> Yeah, it was Hans Nean. It was Hans Nean.

2:41decision of the week. I want you to be in the YouTube comments, not the Spotify comments, the YouTube comments. Leave us
2:49with your toughest start sit matchup question of the week. We will answer it.
2:54You'll get blessed by the fantasy points fairy himself, Matt Donnelly. He'll use our projections, which were the most accurate projections in the industry
3:05last year. And of course, they were.
3:07They come from fantasy points data, the best, most accurate data, totally exclusive to us in the NFL business. And then, yeah, we we use those projections
3:17to return a 60 plus% win rate on props to we've had a a different subscriber win a million dollars on DraftKings
3:26playing DFS in three straight years. And so, yeah, we're going to use those projections to either give you the most confidence when making your decisions
3:34this week or we'll be your scapegoat in case we got it wrong. You could blame us, you can get mad at us. So, uh, leave
3:41us a a reply or a comment on the YouTube and, uh, we'll bless you with a response.
3:48>> Awesome. Let's dive in. So, we're start with the 4pm slate here. Arizona at San Francisco. We got a spread of eight and
3:55a half. Looks like you deleted my overunders in the show sheet, Scott, so thank you for that.
3:59>> Oh.
4:01>> Um, but no, no worries. Um, you can you can see on the screen we got our our start sits, but from a a schematic
4:10standpoint, I I want to just hit the San Francisco offense first, Scott.
4:15>> Arizona is one of the craziest defensive matchups I've seen. They they basically living too high. They're playing too high at like the second highest rate in
4:24the league. But they also play a ton of base coverage. And in that base, they're they're going to have a linebacker on
4:31the field who absolutely cannot cover.
4:33And on top of that, they're down their two best corners this week. Will Johnson, sorry, their three best corners, Will Johnson, Max Melton, and
4:41Garrett Williams all ruled out for this game. Will Johnson actually went onto the IR yesterday. And so this is a situation where I I just don't see this
4:50defense being able to hang with San Francisco at all. I think schematically like Debo Samuel probably has the best one forone matchup, but they're all
4:58starts as you can see on the screen. If Mike Evans checks out healthy, I know he he was a DNP yesterday at practice, but
5:04if he if he does practice and he plays in this game, he's also a start to me. I don't see a world where Arizona can
5:10contend with the San Francisco passing attack. So this is like a heavenly matchup. No corners. They're gonna play a ton of base. They live in too high.
5:20Debo and George KD underneath. Should just eat all day long.
5:24>> Yeah. So, you mentioned base defense. I I looked so since the start of last season, Josh Allen averages 0.58 fantasy points per drop back. Brock Pury
5:36against base defense is at like 0.87.
5:42It's a a major advantage for Brock Pury.
5:45And then you said the two high coverage.
5:47So downstream from that that's a that's a significant boost to Christian McCaffrey in the passing game. Um >> Macaffrey Debo and KD to me. But
5:56>> well of course. Yeah. But against too high CMC's target per route run goes from 0.21 to a team high 0.31. Target
6:04share jumps from 16% to 26%. Uh Debo Samuel also historically better against too high coverage. Uh George KD actually
6:15not not true. He struggles against too high coverage. His target per route run drops by 25%. Uh he did go off last
6:23week. He had 80 yards and a touchdown on just 12 routes. Um but the route share you know controlling for the blowout. So
6:31you remove the fourth quarter. He had just a 57% route share. So, they're really kind of taking their time, easing him back to to full responsibilities,
6:41full workload, but still you you see here it's this this 49ers offense looks like an absolute wagon. Brock Pur's a top three quarterback for us. And if
6:50that sounds kind of crazy for you, consider this stat or consider consider how how much more pleasant my life would be right
6:58now, Brad, if I had made Brock Pury, who I might be Brock Pertie's biggest fan.
7:03and and since he came out Brock Pur's biggest fan, instead I made Malik Willis the Exodia quarterback, life would have been so much easier. Brock Pertie, since
7:10the start of last season ranks behind only Josh Allen in fantasy points per game, leads all quarterbacks in fantasy points per drop back. So, not only is he
7:18a really underrated real life NFL quarterback, he's a great fantasy quarterback as well. Christian McCaffrey obviously, you know, I think, you know,
7:26the concerns about the Kalin Blacksplit week one were overblown. He had cramping in that game. game. It was in Australia.
7:33Uh, but he ranked top five in XFP last week despite only playing one snap in the fourth quarter of a blowout. Kaylin
7:40Black has had zero of the backfield opportunities inside the 10 yard line.
7:44Christian McCaffrey has had five of five. So, yeah, he's an easy RB1.
7:51George KD, even with the the limited route uh participation, still a low-end tight end one. he was back to his full
7:59usage, he would probably be mid-range high-end tight end one, but tight end eight. I feel good about that. And then you have Debo Samuel, Mike Evans, both
8:08as fringe wide receiver twos. What's going on here with Evans is he's he's dealing with this hip injury. It seems like he's okay, but they did yank him
8:16from that game early uh because the game was, you know, over relatively quickly.
8:21Um and so I I think we see him. It it's tough because no Dejon Shribbling, no Demarcus Robinson, they might not really
8:28have the luxury of of playing anyone else all that much, but still, you know, the concern that he he sees fewer routes
8:36than than Adibbo Samo, I think is warranted. So, have them both as fringe wide receiver twos this week. Make sure you pay attention Sunday mornings. You
8:45know, what is Jay Glazer saying before kickoff? What is Adam Shfter, Ian Rapaort saying before kickoff? But right now on a Friday, a fringe wide receiver
8:56too on both.
8:56>> The nerd in me wants you to rewind a little bit to the George KD talk. You said he hasn't performed well against
9:02too high. How long is that sample you're citing?
9:06>> Um, so it's not that he didn't perform well, it's that he he saw a decrease in targets per route run. I'd have to check
9:14my notes. It's either since the start of last season or the year before that.
9:18>> Okay. That's really interesting because schematically like anytime we catch a team that's in too high, we want the tight end on the opposing offense. It's
9:26just that's where you get those mismatches. You're getting your tight end against a linebacker. You're getting your tight end in space, you know, for
9:32these catch and run opportunities.
9:34That's what KD's amazing at. Shocking to hear that, honestly. But >> could it could it be he more chip blocking something to do with his pass
9:41blocking? It's possible it's that it could just be a tendency thing where like Pery likes Debo in those situations or likes McAffrey in those situations or
9:49you know rewind to last year whoever whoever they had playing. It's it's possible it's just that also KD missed a good chunk of last year right with the
9:55Achilles. So >> yeah, he also played some with M. Jones who wasn't uh targeting him as frequently.
10:01>> True.
10:02>> Yeah. Could just be a random tendency thing that you you picked up on but uh >> since the start of last season. Yeah. So
10:08I can I can look at it. Wait, no. Hold on. Hold on.
10:11No, it's over the last three seasons.
10:13So, it's a fairly robust sample.
10:15>> That's definitely sticky then.
10:16>> Yeah.
10:17>> Yeah. So, I would expect Debo to eat. I like Debo. Even if Evans is healthy, I think I like Debo more than more than
10:23Evans in this one. So, >> Oh, >> just just because of the schematics.
10:27Yeah.
10:28>> Plus, you know what's concerning though?
10:30The hip the hip with Evans, it hips and hamstrings go hand in hand, right? Cuz when you have a hamstring, >> you you change your gate, you end up
10:37blowing out your hip. literally just did this this summer playing soccer. Had a light hamstring issue. It turned into a hip issue. It It is what it is. Uh but I
10:46I just think I mean you you're the one who has been gassing up Debo. You changed my mind on him. He was a a buy
10:52low candidate. He's a waiver priority waiver wire ad. Yeah. I mean like I I'm all in now. And he's got the literal
10:59nuts schematic matchup for to go off in this game. So Arizona, let's talk them. I think this is actually a good bounceback spot for
11:09Arizona's offense. They've been rough.
11:12Um, you know, the 49ers have played two absolute cupcakes on defense. And now, I know that defense looks really good on
11:18paper right now. I'm telling you, they're not. There's some there's some other metrics I look at, like I I really value pressure rate and pass rush win
11:24rate. Ren rate. Why is that such a tongue twister? They're they're bottom of the league in both.
11:30>> Win rate. Pass rate pass rush.
11:32>> Yeah, you just did it. You just did it.
11:33You slurred it. R >> the rush win combo. It creates like a little slur. It's weird. But pass rush win rate and pressure.
11:41>> Super rush win rate.
11:42>> Yeah, that that that's really low.
11:44>> Zero.
11:45>> Did he go like six and0 one year as a Cowboy starter or something like that?
11:48>> Dude, he sucked. He was just fluky.
11:51Yeah, >> just kind of a wagon. Parson's in his prime, CD Lamb in his prime kind of thing.
11:57>> Uh anyways, I so I like Arizona's off.
12:00I'm not saying start Jacobe Brassette, but I do think he has a nice bounce back and I really think this is a get-right
12:04spot for Michael Wilson like big time.
12:10What's say you I know we're not we're projecting a wide receiver 39. So I'm deferring from the script a little bit,
12:15but uh I have to say my take. So, >> um, yeah, I think Jacobe Brassette's pretty low here. Um, for a guy who I
12:26think has finished as a top 12 fantasy quarterback in something like 12 of his 15 starts with the Cardinals, something like that. And we have him barely a QB,
12:36too. Um, yeah, I don't know. the the 49ers defense looks amazing with with Fred Warner back um making some insane
12:46plays, but like you said, it was the the Rams like rolled off the the plane >> and right to the stadium like super
12:54jet-lagged and then you get the Miami Dolphins.
12:57>> Uh so, you know, maybe maybe this isn't the world's best defense, which honestly would be awesome for >> the 49ers skill position players. Uh
13:06Jeremiah Love, he's in a gross 5050 committee with Tyler Alier. Um he has 20 carries to Algier's 22. He has three more targets.
13:16But um I I think it it's only a matter of time until Jeremiah Love seizes the backfield. Whether that's 60% or 70%
13:25remains to be seen. But right now, week three, I I feel good about this fringe RB2 ranking. Trey McBride, bro, is
13:33freaking incredible. Um, people want to know why he wasn't like a priority target for me in drafts. And it's really, and you know, maybe this is a
13:42mistake. Maybe my my time preference is too low and it should be a bit higher, but because you can sell high on these
13:50guys, but my concern with Trey McBride was really like, okay, the Cardinals are one and six. Now it's the Carson Beck
13:58show. And Joe Jacobe Brassette historically targets tight ends at the highest rate in the league. Every single year he's been in the league and then in
14:07college it was the highest rate in the FBS. Like he is a major tight end cheat code. And you see it over his last 14
14:14games, all games with uh Jacobe Brassette or just about. Uh he averages 21.1 fantasy points per game. That's behind only Puka and JSN. That's like a
14:25full point more than Jamar Chase. That's 1.5 more than Ammon Ross St. Brown. And the consistency, Brett, is what's most impressive. He has more games over 27
14:35fantasy points than games under 16 12 fantasy points. So like, yeah, why isn't this guy being talked about in the same
14:43range as Puka and JSN? And then you factor in that that fantasy points go a farther distance at the tight end
14:48position. Uh, yeah, this is really one of the most valuable players in fantasy, at least up until it's Carson Beck, then
14:56it's time to worry. And then Marvin Harrison Jr., it's over. It couldn't be any more over than it is. He has a 5%
15:04target share. He has a 3% separation win rate, a 0.0 ass.
15:10>> He doesn't care.
15:11>> He just doesn't care.
15:12>> None of those metrics matter because he's literally not even running routes.
15:15He's literally just jogging. Oh, it's like Devonte Adams when he wanted to trade out of Las Vegas.
15:20>> Yes. I I did want to stop you after the McBride rant because I just wanted to say breaking news. Trey McBride is good.
15:26Thank you for telling all of our listeners to start Trey McBride. They needed that information for sure.
15:31>> I know no one cares, but no one was higher on him when he was coming out than you and I.
15:35>> Oh, yeah. We love them. I remember I did a This is before I was doing a lot of Actually, I was doing no media at the
15:41time. I got asked to do a show and I I'm gonna drop some names and hopefully they get tickled by it. But Ray GQ, Derek
15:48Brown, um, and a couple other industry guys. We did a like a a live senior bowl Q&A and somebody asked the question, "Is there
16:00anybody here that's going to get into the first round of Dynasty drafts?" And they were all like, "Yeah, I don't think
16:05this class is that good." I immediately spoke up said, "Yeah, Trey McBride."
16:08They're like, "No way." Hey, like I got clowned hard for this take. Guess where Trey McBride ended up going in in rookie
16:14drafts that year?
16:16>> The 112, baby.
16:17>> Wow, look at that.
16:18>> So, >> he should have went higher. Clearly, >> he should have went higher. Now he's the best tight end in football. So,
16:22>> that's that's a key lesson for fantasy players out there. All of the best takes I've ever had were the ones I got
16:29laughed at where I got destroyed. I got clowned on. You know, coming out, I'm like, Christian McCaffry is a future Hall of Famer. I get clowned on. Lamar
16:37Jackson is going to win MVP. sophomore year I get CL and it's just like that was one of the first lessons I ever
16:44learned. The first ever fantasy draft I ever did when I fell in love with fantasy football I was like 12 years
16:50old. It was my stepdad's league and I remember the guy drafted Tiki Barber and he got laughed at. He was like, "Oh,
16:56he's old. He doesn't score touchdowns.
16:59He fumbled 12 times last year and that was the best pick he could have made. He took him in like round six and he won
17:05the league with him." So yeah, it that's where the value is is the contrarian angles. But anyway, we digress a little
17:12bit. I wanted to circle back to Michael Wilson. So Mar Marvin Harrison Jr., it's over. It couldn't be any more over than
17:19it is. Does that mean we should be bullish on Michael Wilson? And I think so. You know, he he has a 20% target
17:24share this year. Um, and we were talking about the schematic matchups with San Francisco, um, or for for the San Francisco
17:33offense, but but for Arizona's offense, uh, up against a San Francisco defense that plays a lot of cover three, uh, cover three at a top three rate over 50%
17:43of the time, Michael Wilson's target per outr run increases by 22%.
17:49Um, and it actually jumps up above Trey McBride uh when when facing cover three.
17:56So, this is a nice little schematic match up for him. So, I like this ranking here. I like this projection.
18:01This is a a really strong what the heck flex play.
18:05>> Yeah, that's I said to start this conversation, I like him way above wide receiver 39. I think it's a Guys,
18:11Seattle is a house of horrors.
18:13>> That's right.
18:14>> I It's like I I know we're we're feeling crappy about Michael Wilson because of last week. I'm telling you, that's
18:19that's the hardest matchup that dude has the rest of the season.
18:22>> Is Mike McDonald the Ben Johnson Kyle Shanahan of defensive coordinators?
18:27>> Yes.
18:28>> Yeah. And he might even be a better head coach than those guys because he's a better leader of men.
18:33>> Wow.
18:34>> You know, phen phenomenal coach. Um yeah, I I love Michael Wilson this week.
18:40Take it to the bank. All right, let's move on. We got Minnesota traveling to Tampa Bay in what might set the NFL
18:45record for blitzes in a game here between the two blitz happiest teams in the league.
18:50>> That's right.
18:51>> Um the overunder is 42 and a half.
18:53Minnesota slightly favored on the road.
18:55I think this is crazy work by Vegas to have this line favoring the Vikings. I know Baker Mayfield has played like
19:02absolute dog water to start the season.
19:04Baker still has a long track record of success that I think we could bank on beyond those first two games. It is a
19:11home game for Tampa. I say that and they just got beat at home, right, by a crappy crappy Cleveland Browns team and
19:17Deshun Watson. So maybe this is a bad take by me, but I do expect Tampa to come come ready to fight in this game.
19:23And I think if Baker can just mitigate some of those turnovers schematically, this is a really good matchup for him where he has a really good route runner
19:31and Ibuka, Minnesota's going to throw the kitchen sink at him in terms of blitzes and it just takes a couple throws for Baker to get hot where we
19:40know he's a big roller coaster. You just got to start feeling it a little bit.
19:43There's going to be open windows to throw the ball into a lot of replacement windows as those second level players come up and blitz. Baker should be able
19:51to find the soft spot. I I feel really good about this. Um but I I like the Tampa Bay side. I like Agbuka a little
19:58bit. Um I actually have kind of a hot take for you about Ibuka.
20:02>> Yeah, >> his separation numbers are really good.
20:06>> Yeah, >> this is going to scare you a little bit.
20:08I see a little bit of Trayon Burks in his game.
20:12>> Oh no.
20:13>> Little bit of like just out of control coming out of his bra. It's like he won the route, but it's like he's stumbling
20:20and it's just not it's not clean at the catch point because he's he's not in control and he's his body's all over the
20:27place. Uh it's just a it's just a little bit not quite to the extreme we saw with Trayon, but it's like I just see a
20:33little bit of that kind of like wild coming out of his break stuff where it's like, yeah, he's crushing corners, but
20:38doesn't matter if he doesn't have the body control to stay on his feet. So >> yeah, for those who don't know, uh,
20:44everyone had a round one grade on Trayon Burks except for Brett who had a day three grade on Trayon. And I'm like,
20:50you're crazy. Let's watch the fil. And we watched the film together. It's like, yeah, this is like an awful athlete. He
20:56can run in a straight line fast, but like like a really uncoordinated like he's constantly like falling on the ground and like
21:03>> runs like he has vertigo.
21:06>> Uh, Brett's comp for Trayon was Janu. So he kept calling him Trayanu.
21:11Um, so yeah, that that's that's concerning. Let me start at the top with the quarterback. So Baker is actually historically one of the best
21:18quarterbacks in the league against the Blitz.
21:21>> I said that, didn't I, or no?
21:22>> I don't know. But I wonder if that's because, you know, he he faces against the Todd Bulls defense in practice all
21:28the time, so he has a lot of experience against it. That being said, this is maybe the best defense in the league.
21:34Baker has four turnovers, seven sacks in two games. He's bottom three in EPA per drop back. Uh, I'm not all that bullish.
21:42Um, Bucky Irving, this is one that we kind of disagreed on, but just like looking at the usage and volume, you
21:49have a guy who's what, seventh in Snapshare, fifth in target share, and he had an all-time great rookie season by fantasy
21:58points for snap. It just like the math is telling me that this is a fringe RB1.
22:05And and it's encouraging to say to see Chris agree with that even in this tough matchup. The wide receivers I was going
22:13to say we need to pull these guys apart.
22:16They're a little too pinched together.
22:19>> You were saying Chris Godwin looks washed and the ass would confirm that.
22:24Um completely washed. His separation score ranks 62nd of 76 wide receivers.
22:30He has fewer first read targets than uh Ted Hurst right now. So I would we I I'll tell Chris this when we have our
22:39projections called, but I would I would push Godwin down. I would put Igbuka up.
22:45Um he's going to get a lot of too high coverage, which the the Vikings play at the league's highest rate nearly 69% of
22:53the time. Igbuka's yards per route run jumps 50% against two high coverage. So, that's really good for him. Uh, some concerns, the target tree has been
23:04really flat this year. He's at just 18%.
23:06Koden at 18%, Ted Hurst at 16%. Uh, and just like last year, he leads the league in uncatchable air yardage rate. What
23:16does that mean? It means like he's seeing a lot of like high quality targets with a lot of air yards behind
23:22them. Just almost none of them are catchable. And so, we last year were like, "Oh, Baker must be playing hurt.
23:27He's been on the injury report 11 different times with 10 different injuries. And now it's looking like, oh well, you know, maybe he just, you know,
23:36maybe Liam Cohen's just a genius and he like turned back into a pumpkin.
23:41>> He was He's never been a pumpkin, though. That's the thing. What we're seeing from Baker is in it's in the the
23:48script of his entire career. Even going back to Oklahoma, he has these massive swings and it's it's it's the emotional edge he plays with, I'm telling you. But
23:57back on Ibuka, we're projecting him wide receiver 38. Like I think he's a wide receiver three at least. I like looking
24:03at our projections, I like him better than BTJ straight up. I like him better than Romeo Dub straight up.
24:08>> Oh yeah.
24:09>> Um you could convince me over Jameson Williams. Would I'm sure you'd love to hear that take?
24:14>> Uh you know, maybe even over Xavier Worthy because even though I like Xavier Worthy's role in the offense, it hasn't
24:20manifested into any type of meaningful production.
24:22>> You're right. Yeah. So this is we're too low on him for sure. He's he's a mid-range wide receiver three at worst.
24:29We'll we'll get this projection >> and we we don't want to be overreacting to weeks one and two, right? So like
24:33Baker, he was horrible. He I expect him to go a little bit closer to his career average career normally >> despite the tough matchup and a it's
24:42interesting.
24:43>> It's not a tough matchup I think for Baker. No, >> I don't think Minnesota's defense is spe it's schematically difficult to sort
24:50through, but as you laid out, Baker's already great against the Blitz and it really t like if you look historically through the Flores defense stuff, it
24:58takes one team to pop them and then once once that happens that like the the floodgates open for the rest of the
25:04season.
25:04>> Yeah. If you look over the past few years, it's they they give up explosives in the pass game at one of the highest
25:10rates. They're one of the worst defenses at defending the deep ball. uh they give up a ton of yards after catch. It's just
25:16like that's the way they play defense is they create a ton of havoc, a lot of confusion. They force a lot of
25:22turnovers, get a lot of sacks. It's really interesting, you know, >> but there but there's literal oceans to run into if you if you can if you can
25:28sidestep all that. There's literal oceans to play in and that's favorable to the offense, >> right? So many other teams are going the
25:34Vic Fangio bend but don't break, you know, >> sell out to stop the deep ball and and it's interesting to see a defense go the
25:41opposite way. Let's talk about the Vikings here.
25:44>> Yeah, let's Is Aaron Jones healthy? Is he going to play?
25:48>> Yeah, that's the question. We don't really know right now, but this this was before even the hint of the this injury.
25:55So, like a fully healthy Aaron Jones would be RB14. Why? Because he was a highest end bellcow. He saw really just
26:02about all of the work. Um he 80.4% of the snaps, 72% of the backfield XFP.
26:10Mason's on IR for at least three more games. Uh we're gonna have to put an injury dock on Aaron Jones. So that that
26:16that that's going to go down a little bit. Could go down a lot. It could be the DJ Dallas show where like DJ Dallas
26:23who stinks is going to get a 90% snap share and be a mid-range RB2 because of it. Um but we'll have to we'll have to
26:31hold our breath on that one.
26:33>> Why do you think we're projecting Justin Jefferson so high?
26:36>> Because he's Justin Jefferson. Okay.
26:39widely believed to be one of the best wide receivers in the game and uh he just had this ridiculous target share with Carson Wentz. I I'm with you.
26:47I I think this is kind of high. I'm kind of pessimistic about Kyler Murray and his ability to support a a fantasy wide
26:55receiver one.
26:56>> Well, and if you if you're reacting to early season information, like Tampa's actually been pretty good against receivers. They shut down Jamar Chase
27:03and T. Higgins. Denzel Boston had a nice stat line last week, but it all came on one play.
27:09you know, he had the five catches for 95 in a tutty, but like 60 in a tutty of that was one play, right? The catch and
27:14run where he broke a few tackles. Not necessarily something you can hang your hat on. So, it's like I kind of think
27:21Tampa's defense might be okay. I don't know. Again, they're not going to shut down Justin Jefferson. That's not what I'm saying, by the way. He's obviously a
27:28start. We don't have to tell you to start Justin Jefferson, but I was just a little surprised to see him that high.
27:32>> Yeah.
27:33>> So, um and then you're sitting everyone else comfortably.
27:37comfortably. Yeah.
27:38>> Yeah. I I feel the exact same way. Let's move on to maybe the the most fun game of the week. That's Baltimore. It's not
27:48actually at Dallas. It is a Dallas home game, but the game is taking place in Brazil. Rio di Janeiro. The overunder in
27:55this game is 52 and a half. That's a pretty high implied point total.
27:58Baltimore the slight favorite. I wonder if they'd be the favorite if it was neutral field or uh if it was a home
28:03game for Dallas actually. But it's neutral field. So, I think they're getting the nod. Minus three and a half is the spread. Um, this is a start them
28:12if you got him game. The the point total says everything you really need to know.
28:16Uh, let's start on the Baltimore side.
28:18Scott, you you can't obviously you're starting Lamar Jackson, you're starting Henry, you're starting Zay if he plays.
28:22What's it looking like with Zay? Do you know?
28:26>> Um, I kind of don't know. Uh, there was a report this morning. I think it's like 40 60 he plays. like he he should be
28:35good next week for sure. And I think this one's a little bit more iffy.
28:39>> Um so yeah, you see a lot of green here.
28:41And why do you see a lot of green? It's because the Cowboys are the worst defense in football since the start of
28:45last season. That's true by points per drive allowed, EPA per play allowed, all the all the money stats, you know, fantasy points per game allowed to
28:53quarterbacks to uh wide receivers to tight ends. Um and so yeah, a lot of green
29:01um with Z Flowers. I mean, like this is this probably has a Chris Wacked injury, Doc, a big one on him. And he's still
29:10wide receiver 22 because last time we saw him play football, he had five catches, 150 yards, and a touchdown on 11 routes. Uh, he's also one yard shy of
29:20another touchdown. Um, also interesting to see Baltimore top 10 in pro after ranking 31st and 26th the last two
29:28years. Um, I really love what Declan Doyle is doing and how he's calling uh plays. I Z Flowers, you're starting him
29:39and then if Zay Flowers is out, you're starting Rashad Bait. We we have him as a sip, but that's with Z Flowers in
29:44again. We talked about it on one of our previous episodes this week. The the the 13 personnel role, the the featured one
29:51role. It's awesome. It's awesome. So Rashad Baitman jumps to probably high-end wide receiver three, low-end wide receiver two if Flowers is out. But
30:01if Flowers is in, you're sitting Rashad Baitman. And then Mark Andrews, uh, sneaky sneaky good uh, utilization thus far. He's fifth in target share. Uh, so
30:12mid-range to low-end Titan one. I could certainly get behind that. And then just Derrick Henry the dog. You know, he he's
30:18just awesome.
30:20>> Derrick Henry the dog. Uh, schematically, it's just funny because Dallas's defense is just bad in general, but they're really bad against 12
30:26personnel looks. I don't know if you check this out.
30:29>> Okay, >> they're like they're giving up 51 EPA per play against 12 personnel, >> which is like that's like heinously bad.
30:38>> Um, and obviously Baltimore is one of the heavier personnel teams in the league. I'm actually looking for uh Do you know how Dallas's defense has
30:46performed against tight ends recently >> this year? uh their second Durham SM.
30:54>> Yeah, but the point I was going to make is they gave up eight catches for 78 yards and two touchdowns to Isaiah
30:59likely. Um you you just talked about Mark Andrews usage so far this season.
31:04This is a really good soft matchup for him. Dallas has gotten beat up by tight ends a little bit and they're terrible
31:10against 12 personnel. So I I definitely like this matchup for Andrews. I probably I honestly Scott I might like him better than tight end seven.
31:17>> Bro, this is crazy. So, the the Cowboys have given up the seventh most fantasy points to uh tight ends, but just the
31:2420th most targets. 11 targets, 11 catches, 107 yards, and two touchdowns.
31:30And again, they're the since the start of last season.
31:35They're all right. Well, they're not too bad, but still very very winnable uh matchup here for Mark Andrews >> on the the Dallas side.
31:44Uh it's Yeah, it's a high-powered offense. Starting with you, you got him.
31:47Devonte Williams I want to hit on. I don't know that schematically I I like this matchup. Baltimore's run defense has been good to start. Um they have
31:56their their big you know Hog Molly's in the middle healthy. Justin Metab Travis Jones who missed you know most of last
32:03year. So I I I really like Javvante struggled to start the season. Dallas's offensive line is in not a great spot
32:11with Tyler Smith missing you know every game so far. And I don't know I don't know when he's supposed to come back,
32:17but I know it's not this week. So I think the the woes in the run side of the ball will will still, you know,
32:24persist this week, especially against this defense. It's going to have to come down to Dak, CD Lamb, and George Pickins to me.
32:30>> Yeah. And I think that's why it seems like we might be a little low on Javvante Williams at RB 16.
32:36>> I'd be lower than that to be fair, but >> so I don't know that I would be his volume and utilizations has been really
32:41good. He's top 10 in XFP for team play, top five in snap share. His target share has come up from last year. So maybe
32:48he's not quite as game script sensitive, but still in a game that the Cowboys are three and a half point dogs. I I I don't
32:54I can't I can't put him too much higher than this. Um Dak Prescott mid-range QB1. Uh Cowboys probably lead the league in passing
33:05yards this year. CD Lamb, unbelievable usage thus far. um 34% first read target share. Let's talk about your boy George
33:15Pickkins though because we have him wide receiver 19. So a mid-range wide receiver too.
33:20>> Mhm.
33:21>> He really looks like the clear number two. So he's at 12.2 XFP per game. CD Lamb at 23.4.
33:29Um and it's a bad schematic matchup >> because Baltimore plays too high on 63% of the time. George Pickins target per
33:40route run drops 39%. He's behind CD Lamb. He's behind Terrence Fake Ferguson. He's behind Javvante Williams.
33:50So, he could be the number four in this brutal schematic matchup. Do you agree or disagree, Brett?
33:56>> I I disagree. I And they made that clear last week with uh what Pickkins got eight eight targets. Washington was
34:03doing the same exact thing. They were playing too too high over top of him.
34:07They and Dak Prescott just said, "Cool, we'll just throw shorter intermediate routes." They didn't hit any for a big game, but that's not that's not
34:15something that's going to stick every week. So, I'm I'm pretty comfortable with this matchup to be honest with you.
34:20>> All right. Well, I just pulled it up.
34:22Right now, the overunder on George Pickkins is 60. I would take the under.
34:27Brett would take the o over. So, we're going to have to make that an official Fantasy Football Daily bet. If Brett's
34:33right, I'll give him $20. If I'm right, uh Brett has to wear uh women's clothing, a wedding dress on.
34:41>> I'll stick with the $20. I'm not doing the >> Yeah, I'm not I'm not >> You have to wear clown makeup and a
34:48wedding dress. And Yeah. Deal.
34:51>> It'd be nice for for someone other than you to wear clown makeup on the show.
34:55>> That was a good one.
34:56>> Oh, sorry. Was that's not makeup you're wearing? My bad.
35:00>> You got me. All right, let's uh let's move on. Um actually, you know, before before we're going to get to the Raiders
35:08and the Saints, but before we do, we got a quick word from Scott Barrett.
35:13All right, Raiders at Saints. Uh a low point total here. 43 and a half. Saints are favored by three at home.
35:22Kind of gross. The I have no idea what to make of the Raiders, Scott. They They're 2 and 0. The defense has played
35:29shockingly good. Max Crosby does not look like a guy who failed a physical and and shut a trade down to Baltimore.
35:36He looks like Max Crosby. They got a rookie corner, Hezekiah Massis, that just looks awesome for it's like a fifth round picker, I think. Um, anyways,
35:47>> Raiders have been a surprise team for sure. The Saints have been in these absolute dog fights each of the first
35:52two weeks where they've come out of nowhere in the fourth quarter to put a bunch of points on the board. So, kind
35:58of a fun little matchup, but the overunder is scary here, Scott. I think that implies we were probably not expecting a lot of scoring, maybe temper
36:06some expectations on some of the Saints, but our projections are disagreeing with that.
36:12Um, yeah, I I think I think this is so the Raiders are interesting to like I keep talking about these power law play
36:23callers, right? And like there are Kyle Shanahan who you give him like the worst starting quarterback in the league is gonna have like a really successful
36:33offense that supports multiple fantasy relevant players. And I think I think Kubak is up there with those names. And like the the antithesis is there's also
36:43some awful play callers like Nick Haley, Bobby Slowick where it's just it's just it's just painful. Um, and so I I'm kind
36:50of bullish on the Raiders, but I I don't know how you start Kurt Cousins. Um, Ashen Genty, he he had over 30 XFP last
37:00week, but he also had 2.2 yards per carry and three drops. Uh, still just the utilization and usage and volume is
37:08like too incredible for him to be anything less than a mid-range RB1 at worst. I think I think Trey Tucker's kind of interesting. uh especially if
37:17the Raiders get behind here. Uh he currently ranks seventh in yards per route run. Uh New Orleans plays single high at the league's second highest rate
37:27and and Tucker sees about a 30% increase against single high which makes sense as a as a guy with elite wheels. Uh and he
37:36kind of reminds me of um Kirk Cousins new Darnell Mooney. And maybe that doesn't sound all that inspiring to you, but like I remember
37:45uh like Darnold Mooney was like just as productive as Drake London. And it's like that should never happen. Uh because Drake London is just so much
37:52more talented. Why would that happen?
37:54It's like well gunslinger Kirk loves throwing it downfield and he's actually really good at it. So like it seems like a good stylistic fit, but uh Chris Wack
38:03disagrees. He doesn't think this is Trey Tucker is anywhere close to uh making it into your flex position. And then Brock
38:10Bowers with a heavy heavy injury dock is still technically a start for us as a lowend tight end one. Uh and again
38:18that's another player you want to be attuned to. Jake Glazer reports Ian Rapa reports see how
38:29you know is Bowowers just a decoy this week? Is he a little bit better than that? So but right now with the heavy
38:34injury doc still a tight end one. I dude, I absolutely love your Trey Tucker shout, especially when you consider the fact that New Orleans like lives in
38:42single high. 67% of their snaps are going to be single high, which is like top five in the league. Point being,
38:48there's going to be opportunities downfield for him for him to catch a big one. So, that's a fun little shot there.
38:54On the same >> start show, but I mean, this could also be a if you want to play the afternoon slate in DFS, we could help you with
39:02that. Or if you want to >> do some prop bets.
39:05>> Yeah. Well, yeah. And it's a start sit show. We're projecting wide receiver 52.
39:10I think you and I might be a little higher than that. And some people are in some really bad situations because of
39:15injuries. You know, what if you have AJ Brown and Nico Collins on your team?
39:18What if you have Nico Collins and Malik Neighbors? Actually, a listener of the show does in fact have >> Nico Collins and Malik Neighbors. You
39:26might be desperate to find just a startable player in one of those flex spots. Trey Tucker is uh something I wouldn't turn your nose up at this week
39:33is all I'm saying. Bro, fantasy football is such a war of attrition. Like there are seasons and leagues and teams of
39:41mine where it's like it felt like I was job and God was just smiting my fantasy team where like my my round one, round
39:49two, round three, round all and then I still like find a way to win the championship. It's like you really just
39:55got to scratch and claw win weeks and then at a certain point these guys get healthy and and come back and and push
40:03you over the top. Should we do a theological breakdown of what it means for Job in the Old Testament here? How
40:09do how do we find Christ in Job's story?
40:11Is that is that what you're trying to do right now?
40:14>> You tell me. You're the You're the biblical scholar.
40:17>> Save that for a different podcast. How about that?
40:19>> Okay.
40:20>> All right.
40:21>> Bible study with Brett and Scott. We'll we'll do that after our dog breeding episodes.
40:25>> You'll you'd have to clean up the language for that to work, but you know, it's all right.
40:28>> Uh Saints side of the ball here. I I didn't say it was.
40:33>> Oh, okay.
40:34>> But many of the partakers of that show would probably not appreciate some of the language said is all I'm saying.
40:39>> Uh today's today's episode is is brought to you by our sponsor, Jesus Christ, who died for your sins. Uh hope no one thinks we're making fun of
40:49your religion. Brett and I are both Christians. We're >> No. Yeah. Not making fun of at all. It's just It And actually, can I can I say
40:55this? It is funny because I think at one point this summer you did call me and say that we should start a podcast just
41:02talking about the Bible.
41:03>> Well, I learned so much from you. You I'm you're you're really are well wellstudied. So, >> thank you.
41:11All right. Should we move to the next game or do you have anything to say about these Saints?
41:15>> I I have a lot to say about the Saints, I'm sure. Uh if I could just pull up my notes here. So, the cover boy of the
41:22Everything Report this week was Tyler Shuck. Uh Ryan Heath, you know, you heard it a couple days ago. He's the 2015 Blake Bortles, uh but with a much
41:33better play caller. Um over his last 10 starts, he averages 19.9 fantasy points per game. It's like QB7ish. 42 dropbacks
41:44per game. That's QB3ish. Uh he's the team's goal line back. seven of 13 of the team's team rushing attempts inside the five. Uh he leads all quarterbacks
41:55in hero throw rate, which really kind of plays into that poor man's Josh Allen comparison made by the Ravens defensive coordinator. The Saints lead the league
42:05in pace of play. Um Ryan Heath, Graham Barfield both saying this is like a top 10 quarterback moving forward. to me is
42:12rich man's Bo Knicks who, you know, has a guy who hasn't been playing quarterback all that well, but uh just on play volume and and opportunity has
42:21has been like a low-end QB1 really solidly. Uh and Chris is even more bullish. He has him as a top five
42:28quarterback this week. So, uh Tyler Shuck um you know, another another guy who's who's running laps around the Exodia quarterback. Hate to see it. Um,
42:38and then downstream from that is like not only has he been a great fantasy quarterback, but he's been able to support multiple pass catchers. It's not
42:47just Chris Olive who over his nine games since the Rasheed Shahid trade last year averages 21.3 fantasy points per game,
42:5620.4 XFP per game, 3.6 yards per route run. Those are all top five numbers over this span. And then Devon Ve sort of the
43:04same thing. uh he leads all players in routes run. So again, it ties back to play volume, but over his last five games, and keep
43:14in mind, he left one of those games at at halftime, he averages 14.7 fantasy points per game, 67 yards per game.
43:22Those are all top 15 fringe top 15 to be fair numbers. So, uh you know, Chris might be even a little too low on on
43:29Devon. That's yet another start for you.
43:32And then Jawan Johnson uh is is uh you know on the fence tight end 12. He um you know he hasn't been killing it but
43:40he's he's technically top eight in fantasy points per game, top eight in XFP per game, top three in routes run, which is really one of the most
43:48important stats for tight ends.
43:51>> Yeah. And can we talk about the Raiders?
43:52Like they they've played two Ponzi schemes so far this year. So, I think the defense is looking crispy, but you've played, you know, Mike McDaniel,
44:03you've played Bobby Slowick. Uh, I think there's there's room to grow here in this I don't think this defense is going
44:08to hold up quite like this for the whole season. So, >> yeah. Well, that's the thing. Keep in mind like strength of schedule is always
44:14massive and it's especially massive with only a twoame sample size.
44:17>> But these were two really interesting stats I had on this overall matchup, Brett.
44:22>> The Saints defense ranks dead last in success rate. They're the worst defense in the league by success rate. That blew
44:29my mind. And then on the opposite side of the ball, the Raiders defense very quietly ranks best in EPA per play
44:37allowed, best in EPA per run, >> second best in quick pressure rate.
44:41That's a Max Crosby stat. You know, they face the Chargers, they face the Dolphins, but still pretty impressive.
44:49>> That is impressive. I I really like Jawan Johnson. So, I want to ask you this. This is what I want where I wanted
44:54to get. We're projecting him tight end 12. So, as you see on the fence, because he's not a clear tight end one, but who
45:00do you like him? Who do Who do you like more, Isaiah Likely or Joan Johnson?
45:04>> Likely >> for this week. You likely more >> by far.
45:07>> Really?
45:08>> Yeah, dude. Malik Neighbors is a decoy out there. They have nowhere else for the ball to go. He's looked awesome,
45:14like you said, and you were a hater. Um, Jameus Winston typically just yolo ball, airs it out. Lots of catchable air
45:21yards, lots of >> I say likely doesn't run routes down the field, brother. Hey, I mean, well, then he's still the check down. It's just
45:27>> And and they're down Andrew Thomas at left tackle.
45:31>> Yeah, he's not a blocking tight end, though.
45:35>> Yeah. You realize losing a star left tackle though is generally bad. Like the offensive production goes down.
45:42>> James Winston averages like 50 pass attempts per game throughout his career.
45:46I know it's I know it's Harbaugh and it's a different coach, but I just like just projecting out volume.
45:51>> Jawan or Brock Bowers? Brock Bowers.
45:56>> Okay. I like Jawan better than both of us >> playing in DFS this week.
46:00>> Okay, I will. All right, let's let's move on to the Sunday night game. We've got the Los Angeles Rams traveling to
46:09Denver Mile High Stadium.
46:12Uh the Rams are favored on the road against, you know, a team that was a couple plays away from the Super Bowl
46:18last year. The overunder is 44 and a half. So, not a huge point total in this game. Uh, I guess a big question for me
46:26is is Puka going to be back? How are you feeling about that? And then let's get into the schematics of it.
46:30>> It doesn't sound like Puka is going to be back. Um, you know, I made this show sheet yesterday. I I wonder if the
46:35updated projections actually have Puka out. Um, in which case, like Devonte Adams is going to jump from wide receiver 21 to like what, wide receiver
46:44two? Wide receiver one.
46:47>> Is he really? I mean, I I'm guessing I I could pull up the projection, see if we have it updated, but
46:53>> man, that's that's wild. Um, >> but do you disagree? Look at how valuable that role was. He just had nearly a careerhigh in receiving yards
47:01for a Hall of Famer.
47:02>> Yes, but we wouldn't project him.
47:04>> Sean McVey, wide receiver one, is like, >> bro, you have, bro, you have Aman Raw versus the Jets. You have JSN verse the
47:12Commanders. You have CD vers B. The thing I don't know Denver still has Patrick Certain man. I don't know. I I
47:23think they're well equipped to to limit this this Rams passing attack if there's no Puka Nua.
47:28>> You know, Patrick Certain is a fair point.
47:32I will say Devonte Adams historically has been one of the most uh the least shadows sensitive cornerbacks, wide receivers in the game. He he's he's I
47:43know Certain is on a different level, but he he's always gotten the better of almost every quarterback he's faced. And the Rams can do some interesting things
47:51to kind of move him to the slot or, you know, get mismatches. Right. Right.
47:56>> They can. They'll probably just live in 12 and 13 though and have him go ISO up.
48:00>> All right. So then maybe it's a huge game for Terrence Ferguson again because he had what, nine targets last week. He
48:05did really well. I if if it's no puka and we're we're projecting the certain shadow on Adams. Yeah, I think Ferguson's definitely a play.
48:16We'd at least probably get him to what?
48:17Tight end 13, 14, something like that.
48:20>> Probably higher than that, honestly.
48:21Probably tight end nine.
48:23>> Okay.
48:24>> Nine targets, six catches, 54 yards, and a touchdown. He was the clear number two receiver by a lot. Like I He had nine. I don't
48:32know that anyone else had more than like two. Okay. So, in this hypothetical that actually looks like it's true. It doesn't seem like Puka is going to play.
48:39It does seem like Adams will catch a certain shadow. Would you like Ferguson more than Isaiah likely?
48:50>> Uh, I don't know.
48:51>> What about Tyler Warren?
48:54>> Colts broken, dude.
48:55>> I don't know. Sorry. Yeah, probably.
48:57>> What about Jawan Johnson?
48:58>> What's going on with with Tyler Warren?
49:00Jeff Mueller was tweeting about it. He wonders if there's an injury. I don't think that's the case, but >> Well, Daniel Jones looks awful. Daniel
49:07Jones looks awful.
49:08>> Yeah.
49:09>> Yeah. I I mean, >> he's coming back from a serious injury.
49:13>> Yeah, I know. He doesn't look like he's ready to play. He can't move in the pocket.
49:16>> Yeah.
49:17>> Um, last one. Jawan Johnson or Ferguson in this hypothetical.
49:23>> Ferguson.
49:24>> Okay. So, he's a tight end one for you then. Clearly.
49:26>> Yeah, that's what I said. Yeah.
49:27>> All right. Cool. I like that.
49:29>> Anyway, look at Kairen Williams there.
49:31He's now on the fence, which just like speaks to us saying he's a sell high.
49:36It's It's just like as as awesome as the Rams offense is, it's just like so tough when you're in a 55 45 split backfield.
49:46Uh and and you're to get matchups like this, tough matchups against the Broncos where it's, you know, fringe RB2 at best.
49:53>> It's It's You know what's tough for me though, >> dude? They got annihilated.
50:01It's funny because you always say I'm wellstudied or well read, but then you call me illiterate. It's like those >> Well, you're well audio booked. You're
50:08well listened.
50:09>> Yeah.
50:10>> Yeah. For the folks at home who don't know is like Brett is like a film soant.
50:14It's like it's like Ray Charles being being blind and like but but hearing like so acutely. Brett can't read, but he's excellent with film study.
50:25>> I hate you. Anakin Skywalker voice. I hate you. Oh, you don't like Star Wars.
50:30I can't use that reference. Anyways, here's >> So, I got [ __ ] on for making fun of you for being a Star Wars nerd when I built
50:37my whole brand a Yu-Gi-Oh. But, like, here's the thing is like you're you're in your 30s. Like, there is no excuse
50:45for a 30-year-old to be a Star Wars nerd because the only good Star Wars media to ever come out uh was from like the
50:521970s. So, like you're left with like the new Anakin Star Wars, which were awful, and then like the woke Disney Star Wars, which I never watched, but
51:02were supposedly awful. So, it's like, >> first of all, first of all, the the prequel trilogy with Anakin Skywalker is >> Don't tell me that's good.
51:11>> It's fantastic.
51:12>> Big Jar Jar Binks fan over here.
51:14>> Okay.
51:17>> Dang, that's a bird right there.
51:18>> Let's Let's hear your Jar Jar Binks impression. I I'm 100% not Jamaican Trump at least. You keep promising it.
51:25>> Yeah. Whatever. I think Jar Jar Banks is the Jamaican Trump if we're being honest.
51:31>> Anyways, uh by I have two older brothers, okay? One 16 and 12 years older than me. Return of the Jedi was
51:38released in 1983, homie. I was born in 1987. My brothers, you know, they brainwashed me early to be a Star Wars
51:44guy because they grew up with it.
51:46>> And so that's that's why I'm a Star Wars fan. So >> that's Yeah. Okay.
51:50>> Anyways, the point I've been wanting to make about the Rams running backs, Kairen Williams and Blake Cororm, >> the Denver Broncos defense has been
51:56awful against the run.
51:58>> I mean, Kenneth Walker annihilated them in week one and last week the game script got away from Jacksonville, but they were running the ball effectively.
52:04I think Bashel Tuton had 65 yards like early into the third quarter and then just couldn't run the ball anymore because of game script. That was the
52:11question I was going to ask you like is Denver's run defense really bad because we know their pass defense is going to
52:18be amazing. Yes. Because they have Patrick Certain. So no matter what it's an amazing pass defense but the if if the run defense is even just below
52:26average that makes it awful because teams are just going to avoid the pass hit the run. And so for for two weeks we
52:33had Beijel Tudin hit five.0 yards per carry. We had Kenneth Walker 7.5 yards per carry with like 20 missed tackles for us. One of the most in fantasy
52:43points data history. Is Denver's run defense bad?
52:47>> Because >> yes.
52:49>> Okay. Then then Kairen should be much higher because the Rams and probably the pass catchers lower because the Rams running game is amazing. Last year Blake
53:00Corm and Kairen Williams both ranked top three in success rate. This year, Blake Corm and Kyron Williams both rank top three in success rate. So, this could be
53:08a game where both guys get easily o over a dozen carries each.
53:14>> Yeah, totally agree with you. That that that's why I wanted to bring it up. I I'm higher on both these guys. So, and I
53:19think Denver and if we're getting the certain Devonte Adams mismatch or uh shadow, they're they're going to rely on the run game. We've seen the Rams do
53:28this that they can be very run aggressive at times. So, all right, let's let's hit Denver real quick. I'm We have Wadd as a start. You have to
53:38start him, I think, just because last week was so good. But, >> I feel great about Wadd. Um, >> do you Trent McDuffy doesn't scare you?
53:45>> I don't know, man. It's I think the only thing that could stop him is is what we saw in week one, which was what brackets
53:52and cloud coverage intentionally designed to to stop him.
53:56>> Shula's got that in his bag, brother.
53:58>> Is that right? Yeah. I I mean, I'm not necessarily saying that's what will happen, but like he's definitely got that in his bag.
54:04>> I think they leave Trent McDuffy on him and then I trust Shawn Peyton and company to scheme him up.
54:13>> Okay, I'm looking through, >> bro. He he had he had a 33% target share, 55% of the air yards, eight
54:22catches, 138 yards last week.
54:26>> Yeah. I mean, that's Wadd's a must start, no doubt. I'm just like I'm kind of tempering expectations a little bit.
54:34>> Yeah, >> Sutton actually might have a better matchup, >> bro. Yeah. Well, that's the thing is he he definitely does have the better
54:40matchup, but he's still barely all he's a fringe wide receiver three, but his role has been awful. Like, I thought it would be even better than
54:48it's been. And 15% of the targets, 70 17% of the air yards. If he doesn't get it done this week, he's droppable.
54:55Certainly in 10 team leagues, he's he's probably droppable today. And then uh the running back, ironically, JK Dobbins is the healthy guy. We were talking
55:03about Jonah Coleman as a S tier waiver ad and now the most injury-prone running back ever is. Oh, actually he's okay. Uh
55:10but Jonah Coleman has an ankle sprain.
55:13>> Yeah, that's tragic. Corin Sutton, by the way, he's only got nine targets on the air for a total of 36 yards so far.
55:22Not great.
55:23Um, yeah. So, you like Wadd. We're We're midish on Sutton, but you're you're sitting JK Dobbins. Just the run defense too good on the Ram side.
55:34>> Yeah, I'll be I'll be honest. That might be an outdated projection that might have had Jonah Coleman. So, um I'll tell
55:41you what we have right now.
55:45I don't know.
55:46>> While while you're No, while you're looking that up, I'll talk about Bo Nick for a second. Bo Knicks is playing like
55:50trash.
55:51>> Yeah. Yeah.
55:52>> And so it's really frustrating because so much of their offense is built on design stuff. But even like something I've always harped on him for is his
56:00ball location just isn't good. Even like what we call a catchable throw. It's like if it requires an adjustment from the receiver that slows down the
56:09process. It slows down the transition transition from catch to run which limits yards after catch. It's just it's a little it's a little frustrating to
56:16watch sometimes.
56:17>> Okay. Do you have >> Yeah, man. I mean he wasn't good last year either.
56:20>> No. or or as a rookie. Yeah, >> I thought he I thought he was pretty good as a rookie.
56:25>> He he ranked like bottom third of the NFL in catchable throw rate, accurate throw rate. And then when you actually
56:32go even on a more granular level and look at those ball location stuff, like unless he's on the move, he's not a very
56:38accurate quarterback. Did you pull the projection for JK?
56:41>> Yeah, we we we have a three-way committee here. We have Harvey, Dobbins, Coleman all in. I don't know what the
56:46injury docs look like. I'll find out when we do our projections meeting. But, uh, yeah, they're all sits. They're all like low-end RB3s at best. We actually
56:55have Harvey a little bit higher, which I think ties into the game script here.
56:59You're projecting, uh, Broncos to trail in this game.
57:03>> Nice. Final game of the week, Monday Night Football. The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Chicago, the Windy City, uh, in a game where the Eagles are favored
57:13by five. And that's obviously because of the quarterback situation. Chicago.
57:17Chicago. How sad is it that we have a Ben Johnson game with a over under of 41 and a half.
57:25>> Yeah, >> that's painful, dude. That is so painful.
57:28>> Um, on the Eagles side, I I think you feel great about Barkley. Chicago's run defense is heinous.
57:35>> It's bad. It was terrible last year. It started this year really, really bad as well. We just saw Unk Aaron Jones just
57:41shred them in in a rainy game on Sunday, like a a rainy day game, you know, which typically the rain makes everything
57:49messy. So Aaron Jones just shredded the Chicago defense, though. I think Barkley is is more than competent enough to to get this going here for an Eagles team
57:57that's desperate to get the run game going. And then Devonte Smith just looks unbelievable.
58:02Truly unbelievable. I'm shocked that we don't have Dantavian Wix on this though.
58:07What's up with that? Yeah. What is up with that, >> Scott?
58:12>> Come on, Scott. Where? Um, well, actually, you tell me what you think about Barkley.
58:18>> I'm going to look up projection.
58:20>> Actually, I I just pulled it up. He's wide receiver 44, which is probably still a little too low. Um, but that
58:27that certainly puts him in play as a what the heck flex start. Um, I'm surprised Jaylen Herz is this low.
58:36Can we start there? Yeah. Yeah. Start there.
58:39>> You know, Chris Chris is someone I've accused as a Giants fan, him as an Eagles fan, as being a little
58:46heavy-handed with the Eagles projections uh every now and then. And so I it it really is jarring to me that he has Herz
58:53QB11 when I usually think he's too high on Herz because it's maybe he's concerned that there's not enough push back here from Case Keenum. But like
59:02that never really worries me too much with Jayen Herz. They have good starting field position. That means more red zone drives, which means more tush push
59:10touchdowns, rushing touchdowns. Uh so like even if this is a blowout, this could be like a Jaylen Herz gets one or
59:17two rushing touchdowns game and in the first half he has one or two passing touchdowns. So I I actually like Jaylen
59:23Herz a little bit more than Chris does for the first time ever. Uh Saquon Barkley working his way back from the
59:29injury. Um, we kind of criticized uh the Eagles running game and I think rightfully so. I I it just it looks like
59:40they built their offense around the pass with their heavy 11 personnel. Um, and so I don't know that the efficiency is
59:46going to be as good as it was certainly two years ago. Uh, and then also even the usage. There was a lot of talk about
59:52Saquon being more involved as a pass catcher this year. You're really not seeing it. His route share is even worse and it's actually really bad. Uh so
60:00Saquon with a potential injury doc as well uh is just a mid-range RB2 despite this elite matchup. Devont Smith, no Dallas Goddard. Yeah, he's going to
60:12smash after Goddard left last week. He had a 38% target share. He had a 50% yardage share. Uh, you've seen this
60:20before whenever Goddard and AJ Brown were both out or in God's instance when Dvont and AJ Brown were both out, it
60:28really all just kind of went through one guy and then Dvonte Dantavian Wix isn't on the screen, but he's a he's a fringe
60:35what the heck flex play.
60:37>> Yeah, Chicago's corners are awful, too.
60:40>> Yeah. Well, the there two starters are both out, right?
60:43>> Are they?
60:45>> Yeah.
60:46>> Uh, which starters are you referring to?
60:49Are you talking Kyler Gordon? No, Jaylen Johnson's playing. They have rookie Malik Muhamd in the nickel. They've got Cam uh sorry, Tyreek Stevenson, who's
60:58questionable, >> but Jaylen Johnson's playing. I think you're thinking Kyler Gordon. He's not been good anyways.
61:04>> Oh, yeah. I was thinking Kyler Gordon. I was thinking someone else, too.
61:08>> Kobe Bryant, their safety.
61:10>> Safety. Yeah, he's he is out for the season. Got hurt in the preseason.
61:14>> Yeah. I mean, they're they're beat up. I mean, you saw Jaylen Coker absolutely go nuclear against them in week one. Um,
61:21and then I, you know, Jefferson would have had a much better game week two, but the rain was involved and Carson
61:26Wentz was involved. though.
61:27>> Bro, I feel like this is this is uh Chris flexing on us because he was so low on Luther Burden, Coloulston
61:36Lovelin, and Romo Dunay when you know ADP fantasy drafters, baseball bros couldn't get enough of the Bears. And he was just like, even if you think the
61:47Bears offense is incredible, there's no way for all of these guys to hit.
61:51Honestly, all all three of these guys are probably overvalued. And now you have Luther Burden disgusting sit. Romo Dunay dead. Coloulston Lovelin dead. Um
62:01DeAndre Swift I actually think he's a little too low on just because I I trust Ben Johnson even with Case Keenan at
62:07quarterback quarterback to scheme brilliant game planning whatever. But it's also Kyle Manong guys banged up. So I could see DeAndre Swift getting a
62:17little bit even more of the work and he's also heavily involved in the passing game. And then I think there's a
62:22world where like even if it is Case Keenum, Luther Burden could be nice.
62:26Like all it takes is just you know some screens scheme him up you know f he's the first read and so you don't have
62:34Williams. He has been.
62:36>> No he hasn't been. Do we have to do this for the third time this week?
62:41>> He's 13th in first read target share.
62:43>> Yeah. And because he's being massively inflated by a twominute drill drive to end that game.
62:49>> Yeah. So, we have a a twominute sample size of a quarterback not being Caleb Williams doing the smart thing and
62:56throwing it to their best player. Maybe Case Keenum. He's been in the league a long time. Seems like a smart guy does
63:02the same thing.
63:03>> What are you going to do if if Khalif Raymond has a big game again?
63:06>> I'm going to jump off a bridge. Brett, what do you think I'm going to do?
63:11>> What if Ben Johnson's just doing the install this week and just like, Case, listen, I know you're a vet, but we want
63:17to keep this simple. Just throw it to the guy who knows the offense. That's Khif Raymond.
63:21>> You know, just just >> I don't want to live in this reality, Brett.
63:25>> Um >> this dystopian hellscape where Khalif Raymond is >> out of curiosity, where are we projecting Khalif Raymond? I gota wide
63:33receiver 72.
63:35>> All right, good.
63:36>> Chris Chris has no love. Chris has no love.
63:39>> But yeah, this this is what happens if Coulson Lovelin has like two catches again this week. Actually, that'd be an
63:46improvement. And he hasn't had too much.
63:49>> Yeah.
63:49>> I mean, we're we're in dangerous territory with these bears, man.
63:52>> Yeah.
63:53>> It's pretty wild. So, >> uh, schematically, the Eagles have been run on a little bit. Um, you know, susceptible to some zone runs. You know,
64:03Ben's going to mix it up with zone and gap stuff. So, I think Swift could have a a decent day. Other than that, though,
64:11I think I think we're pretty pretty straight up at this game. So, you good?
64:16>> Yep.
64:16>> All right. You want to get out of here?
64:18>> Sure.
64:19>> Cool. That's uh that's week three start set. We've gone through all 16 games. If you missed the other 10 games that we
64:26didn't cover today, it's because they're on yesterday's video, silly. Go back and watch them. If you're not currently subscribed to the YouTube, make sure you
64:33subscribe. Turn notifications on. Scott and I are doing this every single day, winning you fantasy leagues.
64:38>> I I wanted to pick your brain on something. I was just listening to uh Kevin Clark's podcast. Kevin Clark, by
64:44the way, like really special talent.
64:46Every time I've ever listened to something from him, I've always come away like learning like five new things and just thinking he's really smart and
64:53knowledgeable. But he was talking about um you know, one of the things that that makes Tom Brady great and like Kyle
65:00Shanahan great is um but like Tom Brady like he would notice, let's say, like a brutal mismatch. It's Rob Gronowski against this really slow linebacker.
65:11And uh you'd think he would just like target the crap out of Gronowski and just, you know, rack up touchdowns early. He wouldn't do that.
65:19>> He'd save it for the big moment.
65:20>> Save it for the fourth quarter. And he would just have that in the back of his pocket the entire game and he would just
65:26only pull it out when he really needed it. And then Kyle Shanahan, he was saying what he does is he will
65:33intentionally call plays that don't work just to figure out how the defense would react and respond to it and see if he
65:41can catch them off guard or if reveal a key tendency. I thought all that was really interesting, but he he was
65:48talking about the Oregon quarterback, how he had a tell that apparently like different teams around the league knew about for like two years where defenses
65:59just knew exactly whether it was going to be a run or a pass just based on how his feet were positioned. Like he would
66:05kind of cheat into the run.
66:08>> And uh >> you know, obviously that's like really hard to win games when your defense knows what they're doing. Uh like look
66:16at look at your biggest miss right JJ McCarthy like he looked like an elite processor and it's like oh >> maybe just you know Conor
66:24>> Yeah.
66:25>> Um but uh I so he was talking about this and I was thinking about it too but it's like we're now living in the day and age
66:33of AI where it's like you know you feed all of your opponent's tape into an AI. Can your AI just like
66:41perfectly pick out, you know, a a player who might be giving away the play call?
66:48Like because like that's what AI is, right? It's better at pattern matching that like any human could be. It could synthesize all this data at once. And so
66:56it's that it's also like or you just have like AI processing from you know uh the booth that the play callers are in
67:06and it's like okay 97% certainty this is going to be a run. You don't really know why but 97% certainty. So I wonder if
67:14like in the in the day and age of AI now it's or like you even just pick off like mismatches that maybe the coaches like
67:22haven't picked up on. It's like it's like oh no this guy for you don't the coaches don't know it but you like the
67:29AI knows it is like hey he's he's been struggling to go to his right because he picked up an eye injury and he actually
67:35can't yeah he's he's bad vision out of that eye and so like you target him there and it's like yeah so in the day
67:42and age of AI like I wonder if um upsets are going to be a little bit more prevalent like major like lopsided
67:50blowouts are going to be more significant Um, I don't know. It's just something, you know, I was thinking about it. I don't know if you have a
67:56taste here, Brett.
67:58>> The tendency stuff, too. You talked about it with Kyle. One thing like Ben Johnson always gets accused of is purposely breaking like he won't allow
68:05the defense to pick up on a tendency.
68:08So, he'll like he'll weave no matter what. Even if something's working, he'll purposely do something that's potentially bad just so a defense can't
68:17pick up on it, which is >> Yeah. uh the the roundabout path. It's very >> daist. I I was listening to something
68:29else on um the breast best Scrabble player in the world who you know what separates him from everyone else is like
68:38he would make moves that like so like in chess like the AI is going to beat Magnus Carlson like 99 times out of 100
68:47if not 100 times. But in Scrabble, this guy's actually better than the best AI.
68:52And so, like, instead of making what what's viewed as like the optimal move that scores the most points, he will take fewer points to just like really
69:00screw over his opponent. Um, and so yeah, that's it's kind of along that that path.
69:07>> We will be back with our week three reactions Sunday night. We record that.
69:12It's out Monday morning. Thanks for sticking with us. We are out.
