0:00Week two, waiverwire. We are going to break down the names, the strategy, and everything you need to know here on Fantasy Football Daily with Brett
0:08and Scott.
0:18Hey, if you're a returning subscriber, you already know why this is the best fantasy football channel on the planet.
0:24So, hit that like button. If you're new here, don't forget to subscribe and click notifications on so you don't miss a single video from Scott and I. We are
0:33doing this every single day helping you win fantasy leagues. All right, Scott, I want to jump in, but before we do, front
0:39office tool, guys, we're doing a waiverwire episode right now, but if you happen to not if you're not able to catch this episode for whatever reason
0:46every week, you can use the front office tool on fantasypoints.com.
0:51Um, if if Motion Man Trey wants to scroll down here, you can look. It tells you who your drop candidates are on your
0:56team, who your your biggest fallers are on your team, and then who the most added players are, so you can see
1:03exactly how you should be managing your team. It's a really awesome tool. I use it for most of my reddraft leagues, um,
1:11minus some that have some goofy scoring settings. But yeah, front office tool at fantasypoints.com. Please check it out.
1:18It is a league winning tool. All right, dude. Let's let's jump in. We're going to stick with the same format as last
1:24week, Scott. We are going to go position by position and we're actually going to tier make them. We're going to tier
1:29these out. I want you to think about fab, too. You know, how much fab you're willing to spend on these guys? But
1:36let's just start with quarter. Actually, should I should I do some pleasantries?
1:39Scott, how are you today, sir?
1:41>> I'm doing good. How are you?
1:42>> Good. I I don't know if you can tell, but the weather in Michigan has turned from a blistering hot summer to fall
1:48very quickly. Last night's show, I was wearing a jacket. tonight. Today I'm wearing a hoodie and so >> pretty rare to see Brett all bundled up,
1:57but here we are in uh midepptember here.
2:01Michigan weather is officially fall.
2:03It's been raining for like five days straight. It's cold. It is what it is.
2:07All right, let's dive right in.
2:09Quarterbacks. Tyler, >> you sure you don't want to talk about the weather for another 20 minutes?
2:13>> I'm I'm positive. I just wanted you to be aware of why I'm have the bundled up look. You know what I mean?
2:18>> Got it. Yeah.
2:19>> Just cluing you in here. Mhm.
2:21>> as my friend and confidant.
2:23>> Oh, >> quarterback Tyler Shuck, Northern Saints. We talked about him last week.
2:28Um, you know, we discussed whether that performance against the Lions was fool's gold or not, and then we saw him do the
2:34same exact thing to a lesser extent against the Ravens, but he got the job done this time and won the game.
2:38He's only owned currently in 48% of league. Scott, I like Shuck a good bit here moving forward. We we hit it a little bit on last night's recap
2:48show, but I think the the sauce they're working with is actually sustainable.
2:53This pace of play Kell Moore is working with, I think it it really does wear down defenses, and he looks good. He
2:59looks the part. He's got a nice stable of pass catchers. He'll have Jordan Tyson coming back soon. What say you about Tyler Shook?
3:07>> Yeah, it's, you know, it's funny. The Ravens defensive coordinator called him.
3:12He was like, "Shuck reminds me of a poor man's Josh Allen. He's awesome. He's really good. But they used his like
3:18bulletin board material where the the Saints coaches called him poor man all week. Um but like I mean you kind of see
3:26that a little bit from a fantasy perspective. Um he's been awesome, man.
3:30Over every quarterback's last eight games, Tyler Shuck is the QB4. He's averaging 21.3 fantasy points per game. I will say a
3:40lot of that is Kell Moore's play volume.
3:45fastest tempo, highest paced, most plays per game of any play caller. Um, and you see that in the numbers like Shucks 0.45
3:55fantasy points per drop back is like pretty poor. You know, all quarterbacks over the last eight games, you know, that's below Bryce Young, that's below
4:03Deshun Watson. Um, and so he really does benefit from that, but it it seems like that's going to be a sticky thing. um
4:10over his last eight games he's finished as a top 12 quarterback six times. And so, you know, I I don't know that I
4:18really, you know, think he's going to light the world on fire or anything, but uh I definitely do and can see him as I
4:26mean, not a rich man's Josh Allen, but a rich man's Bo Knicks, who's finished as a low-end QB1 in back-to-back years,
4:32mostly on drop back volumes with poor efficiency. And, you know, Shucks looked a little bit better. So, um, if you need
4:39a quarterback, like if you took if you wait went super late round quarterback, took the Exodia quarterback who's not looking good at all. Um, Tyler Shuck, I
4:49would say is an A tier. A tier.
4:53>> Yeah, it feels like it. I mean, you're What was the number the QB1 number? You said eight straight games.
5:00>> Uh, top 12 in six of his last eight.
5:02QB7, QB5, QB5, QB9, and then 17,16, and then 611.
5:08>> Yeah.
5:10>> One other minor factor, maybe not minor, worth noting, is their left tackle, Kelvin Banks, was just announced. He has a a season ending injury. That that is a
5:18big deal. He is >> he is a upand cominging dog at left tackle. He was the best rookie offensive lineman last year across the board. And
5:26so, um, that that's definitely a big deal. Um, you know, depth typically is an issue for most NFL teams, especially a team like the Saints who have been in
5:34Capel for years. So, um, we'll see how that affects them, especially with the pace that they run at. But, um, I I
5:40definitely like what I'm seeing for Tyler Shuck. Bryce Young, I are the tides turning on Bryce Young.
5:47I'm getting a little clowned on being so harsh on him in his career so far. But, um, Scott, I mean, two games in a row of
5:56of over 200 passing yards, that was a thing he only did three times last year.
6:00And if you include the playoffs per Ryan Heath, he's what, five games in a row over 200 yards. Like, that's crazy. So,
6:08what do we do with that?
6:09>> Well, here's the argument for him. He's the current QB2 in fantasy. Maybe he's the next Reclamation Project. Former first overall pick, Allah, Sam Darnold,
6:19Baker Mayfield, Gino Smith.
6:22>> Um, >> he's on a rookie contract.
6:26>> Yeah, I mean, I wrote him off as dead.
6:28I'm like, this guy stinks. Like, I want to see Hannes King start this year.
6:32>> That's probably a Wii problem, though.
6:34He's on a rookie contract.
6:35>> Okay. Yeah. Well, that's the thing is, you know, guys get better. Um, usually it takes a change change of scenery, but
6:42you know, we were always high on Dave Canales uh in this supporting cast. The stat you just referred to, he's hit 250
6:50plus passing yards in four straight games.
6:52>> Okay, there it is.
6:53>> Before that, he managed to hit 207 passing yards in just two of his previous 16 games. Awful. But it's not
7:02it's it the Panthers are going more pass heavy. They're second in pass rate over expectation this year. They were 29th in
7:102025. Uh Bryce Young has been super hyperefficient. He's third in fantasy points per drop back. The counterargument to all this is he did
7:18just face the the Bears and the Falcons.
7:21And it's Bryce Young. And we have a much larger sample of him throwing on his tippy toes, unable to see over his the
7:28heads of his offensive linemen. Um I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna put this at C tier. I I could see it, but I mean like
7:37at the end of the day, he's still not a Konami code quarterback to me. Um, >> we've seen this before, too. Like, if
7:44it's if it's fake, like Carson Wentz was like the overall was a top three quarterback for like three straight weeks to start some season and then he
7:52never finished top 12 after that. So, um, you know, the early season can, especially when you have such a soft strength of schedule, can play some
8:01tricks on you.
8:02Yeah, look, I I think we're at the point where maybe schedule matters a little bit looking at the schedule ahead. Week three, he gets to
8:11play a Cleveland defense that hasn't been as dominant without Miles Garrett, >> right? And that game script should be very favorable to a Bryce Young heavy
8:20pass attack. Week four, Scott, he gets the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football.
8:25>> Yeah, >> it's like I don't know. I I think maybe the football gods have shined on Bryce Young and he's turned the corner here
8:32and I think maybe uh maybe this is real.
8:36I don't know. I I I think I might like him as a bee, man.
8:40>> Well, wait till we get to the next quarterback.
8:42>> Okay. All right. Kyler Murray is the next quarterback. Minnesota Vikings. He has cleared concussion protocol officially. I believe he'll be back week
8:52three. He's only owned in 58% of leagues. another guy that at one time was a Konami code kind of guy. Um, gonna
9:01be a little bit better of a facilitator than Carson Wentz more than likely.
9:05Scott, what are you thinking of Kyler Murray?
9:08>> Yeah, I I'd put him Btier above Bryce Young personally just he has that Konami code upside. You know, Carson Wentz, I
9:15think, scored like four fantasy points or something, but you seem pretty decent running the offense. Um, yeah, I I don't know. I just see more
9:25upside for him and that's really what matters at the quarterback position.
9:29These onesie positions, you want to chase that upside. So, I'd go be personally, but I I I am interested to hear what you think.
9:37>> Yeah, I mean, I've I've been a Kyler Murray skeptic for a while now, but I I mean, the situation seems pretty good. I
9:45mean, he's he's got good pass catchers, good offensive line, a running game that's up and down with, you know, Jordan Mason out. I don't I don't know,
9:54man. That's a tough one. I think I kind of like Bryce Young better to be honest with you, but >> All right, let's You want to put them
10:01both C-tier then?
10:02>> Sure.
10:03>> At the end of the day, they're quarterbacks and probably not going to win you your league. But >> yeah, if you are, you know, if like
10:11Scott said, if you waited and waited and waited and went the Exodia route, you know, Tyler Shuck's a great option. But
10:16if you just like if you have Caleb Williams, he's your only quarterback who might miss a week or two. I think these
10:22are both fine options for a week.
10:24>> Yeah. Listen, but I mean it's it's the quarterback position. It's insanely deep. You can stream based on matchups where like Kirk Cousins, you know, in
10:31the right matchup can be a fringe QB1.
10:34Uh Tyson Badant this week. Yeah, Brett, you're the one who said um Caleb Williams is the worst starter since Zach Wilson and Tyson Badant's the best
10:43backup since Tom Brady. So, you know, clearly have to be pretty high on him this week.
10:51>> I'm just I can't I'm not I might I might ask Emotion Man to cut that out. That those [laughter] were
10:57things never said by me.
10:59>> You You got to feel for Brett on this podcast. It's not It's not easy being in that chair getting gas lit by me and
11:05trolled.
11:06>> Do you do you read the comments? People do feel for me. There's some people that have said, "H, I can't watch the show
11:11anymore. Scott's too mean to Brett. the gaslighting, the arguing, the bickering, it's too much for me. I can't listen. So, yeah, man. They do feel bad
11:19for me, actually.
11:20>> Enjoy it. Yeah.
11:21>> I I wear the the Caleb Williams criticism like a badge of honor. So, even that said, I'm not I have never
11:27gone to the lengths that you just described.
11:29>> No, of course. Of course.
11:31>> Um Jacobe Brassette, last quarterback on this list, only owned in 8% of leagues.
11:36And Scott, I keep telling you this good, this guy's actually good. At least for fantasy, he's actually good. But he's running the offense. He's getting the
11:42ball to his [laughter] >> Oh, it's up on the screen. Poor Brent.
11:48Scott is so mean to him.
11:49>> Where are the YouTube Karens now?
11:52>> You know what I mean? The name Karens.
11:54>> I know. Where's the name Karens?
11:56>> The most basic form of human dignity is to be able to get someone's name right.
11:59That is not my name. My name does not have an N in it.
12:02>> It's not Brent Whitfields. I thought it was Brent Whitfield. That's what I've been saying this whole time, >> bro. There were there were multiple
12:09people willing to go 25 to life in prison over us mispronouncing Travis Han's name. And now they now they're they've totally
12:19turned on him. They're like, "Get this bum off my team."
12:23>> I told you once once he averaged under four yards a carry for the entire season, they would turn on him really
12:28fast. Apparently that was only true.
12:29Only need two weeks for that to be true.
12:31So, but yeah, uh Jacobe Brassette did not have a great day against Seattle. So, you're going to get, you know, he's
12:38free, obviously, only owned in 8% of leagues. I don't think anyone's running to pick him up off the performance he just had. However,
12:46um I like what I like what I've seen and he's he's pumping the ball to his guys.
12:49McBride with 10 targets, Wilson with seven targets yesterday. Um and against uh a human defense that's not named Seattle, that's going to work just fine.
12:58So >> yeah, listen, it was just the second time he went under 16 and a half fantasy points in 14 starts with the Cardinals.
13:06Um, still he's like a high floor guy to me, not a ceiling guy. He averages 18.8 fantasy points per game over his last 14
13:14starts. That's like QB 13 levels. Um, so he's he's a Dtier. He's just another depth guy. And like I said, there's a
13:22lot of those typically at the quarterback position.
13:25All right, let's move over to the running backs.
13:29And you're going to see some some familiar names, guys. We've been talking about for a couple weeks now, but they're still available in many leagues.
13:35Jonah Coleman's one of them. We told you to pick him up, I think, right after the preseason. Told you again after last
13:42week. 26% owned across the board. Um, he's widely available. And R.J. Harvey missed some time. Now looks like JK Dobbins will miss some time. And
13:52Coleman's getting getting worked in here. and I think he's an exciting rookie. Scott, you were much higher on him as a prospect than me, but I also
14:00said when the Broncos drafted him, that's he's totally a Shawn Peyton kind of running back. He reminded me a lot of
14:05Mark Ingram as a prospect, like a bigger version of Mark Ingram. So, uh I I kind of like his fit in this offense if he
14:12can carve out some more market share here. But what did you what do you think of Coleman? What do you think about his
14:17his first performance as a pro? Uh I week two is what I'm calling his first performance, not week one.
14:22>> Yeah, shout out to us on this. Like, and that's something I wanted to say is like my best our best waiver calls, best
14:29waiver moves are typically the ones where we're a week early rather than, oh, we we have to bid a ton of money and
14:36get this guy ASAP. Um, and so like even if a guy's a B tier, you know, like if no one else is on him and he has upside,
14:44like that that can be a great way. You want to be churning, you know, the end of your roster constantly. But yeah,
14:49Jonah Coleman was a player I was extremely high on. I I love, you know, if I could kind of sum up my thoughts on
14:57a player in one tweet, and I try to do it with Jonah Coleman, and it was uh the best running back seasons in this year's
15:05class by and by miss tackles force per touch, he had two of the top three seasons. By yards after contact per
15:11attempt, he had the first and fifth best seasons. By yards after the catch, per reception, he had the two best seasons.
15:17By yards per route run, he had the second best season. These were all 93rd or percentile better seasons. And so Jeremiah Love was supposed to be this
15:26elite prospect, but you see Jonah Coleman right there next to him and in some saps, you know, clearly better than him. So I he was an analytics darling to
15:34me. I saw underrated bellcow upside. And now, wow, like quite the um spot to be in where you have Harvey is probably
15:43coming back this week, but he's he's stinky. You said the tape was kind of awful and it was so bad. it like really
15:49didn't inspire you that he could take a major step forward this year. And then JK Dobbins, the most injuryprone running back of all time. Looks like he's going
15:57to be out a while. Uh Tyler Bedet is, you know, Jag just a guy.
16:03>> Tyler Baddy.
16:05>> Tyler Bedet.
16:06>> Baddy.
16:08>> Names are coming for you. I think I'm right on this one, >> bro. Whether they're right or not, his name is spelled baddy.
16:15>> Yeah, but >> that's a cool name. Baddy.
16:17>> Yeah. Bedet is like the least cool name.
16:19It's >> I mean like Tyler what they have in Europe on their toilets.
16:23>> Yeah, exactly.
16:24>> Um name Karen, help us out. What's the correct pronunciation there? Um >> cuz Brent Bren is I think is pronouncing
16:32it wrong. Uh listen, Joe Coleman >> looked really good. He had three catches, 19 receiving yards. He had 10 carries, 39 rushing yards, and a score.
16:41But actually, like those numbers are a lot better. smartly, very wisely for a rookie. Um, you know, decided to go down
16:49inbounds to keep the clock running. You know, Shawn Payeyton's going to love that. This is a guy that he hyped a lot
16:54this off season. Really good positive buzz. And so, yeah, this is an S tier ad. I think it's, you know, I I don't
17:01know that I'd expect, you know, starting him with confidence.
17:06Um, I mean, honestly, in the short term, in the short term, I I want to see what Chris's projections say. He could be a
17:13mid-range RB2. Uh probably a little bit lower than that, but um could be. And then uh yeah, if if it's just like,
17:21okay, Harvey stinks, Dobin's not healthy, it's the Jonah Coleman show. Uh there's serious upside there. So So that's an S tier ad for me.
17:30>> Where were you at with like did were you cool with the workload he got this week?
17:3413 opportunities, right? 10 carries, three targets. Felt like he could have got more than that, right? Or were you satisfied with that? He is a rookie
17:42playing in his first game.
17:43>> Yeah. And and Shawn Peyton is notoriously slow with rookies. I I I really liked it. I thought it was good.
17:48And I like that it was both phases of the game. That's really important to me.
17:52>> True. And that that was one of the underrated elements of his prospect profile is that he is a three down back.
17:57That is very very true. It's funny you mentioned the the long run where he went down to to keep the clock moving. Um, it
18:05sounds ridiculous to say one play like that could be a turning point for a guy, but when you have these older head
18:11coaches like Shawn Payeyton, like Mike Vrabel, and you make the smart right play for for the team, I that goes that
18:18actually does go a long way because that that gets you buyin from the coaching staff. And I think uh, believe it or
18:24not, that could actually lead to more opportunities for him. So, >> yeah.
18:28>> Uh, let's go. Um, let's go Woody Marks here. And guys, if you're if you're watching this on YouTube or Spotify
18:35right now, if you're what you're seeing on the screen is our article over at fantasypoints.com. This is Tom Broly's work. Tom Broly does an amazing uh
18:42waiverwire. He's got all the info we're talking about here. It's it's and more.
18:47He's hitting more players probably in the article than we're hitting here today. Uh go check it out.
18:51Fantasyoints.com waiverwire edition with Tom Broly. All right. Woody Marks is owned in just 50% of leagues. And are we
19:01a little worried about your Exodia Monty with this offensive line? Is that why he's on here or just I mean the the
19:07volume was good. He got a lot of touches in this game, Scott.
19:09>> Yeah, listen. I'm not panicking on on Exodia running back David Montgomery. He had three touchdowns in week one. Week two, yeah, tough match up against Dexter
19:19Lawrence. You know, the offense just couldn't really get anything going without Nico Collins. That's to be expected. So, they stacked the box. Um,
19:26and it's, you know, I was told by my sources he's 2024 Joe Mixon at a bare minimum. So, I hope for him to be an everyown Bellcow.
19:38That's not the case. He's 2024 Joe Mixon. What does that mean? Means he's going to be extremely sensitive to game script. Uh, in games Texans win, he's
19:48going to score like 20 fantasy points per game on average. in games the Texans lose probably nine to 11 fantasy points per game. And
19:57so that's what you saw and that's who Woody Marks is in my opinion. He's like Jerick McKinnon. He's like Theo Riddick.
20:03He and and by the way, yeah, the the offensive line is a little concerning.
20:08Both Woody Marks and David Montgomery right now ranked bottom five in uh percentage of runs where they're hit or contacted behind the line of scrimmage.
20:16that's not that encouraging, but again could be matchup related. Um, so yeah, it's like maybe there's the slightest standalone upside. Uh, in a game you
20:26expect the Texans to be blown out, which like honestly isn't a lot of them when Nico Collins should be healthy. Um, and
20:33outside of that, he's just a a handcuff where I question if he would actually be the Bellcow if David Montgomery got hurt
20:41or if he just kind of sticks in his scatback plus role. um is a B or a C to me personally probably probably C. But
20:50um what what what would you say?
20:54>> Yeah, I I guess I guess see it is weird that he out touched Montgomery by so much this week.
21:01That is weird to me. But also considering the offensive line issues, I mean, and it's it's ugly. It's ugly.
21:07like both of these guys, Monty and Marks, if they're going to be fantasy relevant, they got to get it done with
21:13volume because the the efficiency is not going to be there. So, uh, Tank Bsby 29% owned Saquon Barkley left the game with an injury. He's got
21:23to get some scans done. Um, I forget what's ailing him. What is ailing Saquon? Is it lower body or upper body?
21:29>> Stinger, right?
21:30>> Stinger. Okay, shoulder. That That makes sense. Um, but either way, this was already a highv value handcuff, especially if you followed the
21:39conversations through the summer between us and Ryan Paganetti and Scott Barrett and um, you know, our take on Tank as being one of the better backup running
21:47backs in the league. I he was already worth probably rostering in in deeper leagues just because of the the handcuff potential, but now that we actually have
21:55a dinged up Saquon, it makes his value that much more immense. And I I've always thought Tank has been a good
22:02player. He looked good on tape to me as a rookie in Jacksonville. I was surprised they moved off of him so
22:06quickly, but here we are. Only owned in 29% of leagues. What you got on tank?
22:11>> Yeah, I'd say he's a B, but if you like adjust it based on like the cost to acquire, he's probably like a D.
22:19Honestly, I think Saquon's going to be back this week. Jeff Mueller's telling me Saquon's probably back this week. I thought the usage was really
22:26disappointing. Uh yeah, in comparison to Will Shipley, he had 13 of 20 calories, two of four targets.
22:33>> Uh he got out snapped 38 to 24. To be fair, you know, it was negative game script throughout where, you know,
22:41you're typically expecting positive game script with the Eagles. Um so it's a little bit like the David Montgomery, Woody Marks, uh split back field. Um,
22:51but it's it's yeah, you know, I he was someone I thought would just step right into the Saquon role without Saquon, and
22:57that really wasn't the case. I also wanted to make this note. I'm kind of bearish on the Eagles running game this
23:03year. I don't know who said it on Twitter, but I thought it was a good take. It's like the Eagles used to build
23:08their offense around the run game, and this year they built it around the pass where it's like a lot of 11 personnel
23:15with Dallas Goddard, who's a better pass catcher than blocker. They got Mai Lemon who's a slot wide receiver who can't block and so like yeah the Eagles
23:24running game looks awful and is probably going to be super overrated all year.
23:30>> That's a fun take. Um >> but it's not true. Is that what you're going to say?
23:34>> Well, I'm not going to say it's not true. I just think it's really hard to run the football when your best
23:38offensive well second best offensive lineman's on IR when you're the the engine at center and Cam Jurgens is now playing guard, you know, like how does
23:47that affect the tush push too which allowed them to be so run aggressive, right? Because they they were comfortable getting in the third and one
23:54and the fourth and one, fourth and two situations because of the tush push. I think that definitely will allow them to
24:00take their foot off the throttle a little bit. I was just looking up um their personnel splits to confirm. Yeah, you're right. Wow. Still a ton of 11
24:10personnel. Just 22% 12 personnel. A lot of 11. Not a lot.
24:15>> Speaking Speaking of this, >> what >> why are the Texans top three in rate of 11 personnel when they have like
24:21literally the worst or at least in week two the worst wide receiver trio in years?
24:26>> Kayle's a Ponzi scheme. I'm just going to keep saying that over and over and over until you stop asking.
24:30>> He stinks, man. He stinks. Um they they've only ran two snaps of 13 personnel this season which is so the
24:36reason that's really relevant guys is Shawn Manion came from the Matt Laf floor system in Green Bay where they were the forefront of the 12 and 13
24:43boom. They were they had game scripts last year where they were in in 12 and 13 45% of snaps and so for them to be
24:49down at 22 Scott's exactly right they are running a ton of 11 building this through the pass and that's just not
24:55what we've seen from the Eagles. That's a big departure in team identity. U probably out of necessity with the way that interior offensive line is is
25:02shaping up right now. U we we you mentioned it will Shipley. He's on the list also. He's owned in 0% of leagues.
25:09Scott I and I like how you framed the cost to acquire Bigsby. I actually think I prefer Shipley as an ad because you
25:17can probably get him for like a Z bid, right? It's like >> I mean what's the upside like when Saquon's healthy and I think Saquon
25:25plays this week he's a zero and then >> if not he's he's the Woody marks of the Eagles. So he's an F to me personally.
25:33>> The upside is I really like Shipley as a prospect. I think dynamic pass catcher >> and every time he touches an NFL field
25:40I'm like man he looks good. It just stinks that he plays behind Saquon. So, I think it's completely reasonable to assume that if you if you believe Tank
25:49is worth holding as a handcuff, Shipley also is. And I'm talking mostly deep league, Scott. If you roster 15, 16, 17
25:57players and you have a dead spot on your team, that's all I'm saying. It's worth a zero bid. Would I do more than that?
26:03No.
26:05Is that fair or no?
26:07>> I'll give you a D at best.
26:08>> Let's go. That's all I wanted. That's all I wanted was [laughter] D.
26:10>> All right. All right.
26:12and and and at the cost. I pre I actually prefer Shipley over Bsby.
26:15>> Yeah, >> I'm not blowing my fab budget on BSY when Saquon's probably back this week and when he left we didn't like the
26:21split he got anyways. So, um Mike Washington Jr. Vegas Raiders. I added him to the list erroneously thinking Ashen Genty was injured in last
26:32night's game. You've informed me he did come back into the game. I somehow missed that.
26:36>> Yeah. So, this isn't injury related to me. It's This is interesting. I want to let you grade this one, but but allow me to
26:45frame it. So, week one, Ashen Genty goes off. He goes nuclear. Utilization's amazing. You have the coach say, you know, the the game kind of got away from
26:54us. We were riding the hot hand, but we want Mike Washington more involved in week two. He wasn't at all. The
27:01utilization for Ashen Genty was still freaking phenomenal and elite. And you had all these fantasy analysts like losing their minds week one. Like I told
27:10you Ash and Genty should have been going mid round one and then no it like I'm like like maybe maybe the utilization's
27:19elite. Kubak's a genius but it's the Miami Dolphins. Like let's take a deep breath >> and the Chargers who stink too
27:26apparently.
27:27>> Yeah. And then what did Ashen Genty do in week two? Again, utilization was elite and that's the most important thing. But he looked like who he was as
27:35a rookie, which is to say he looked like Trent Richardson. He averaged 2.2 29 yards per carry. He had three drops. The
27:43offensive line still looks really bad for both running backs, by the way.
27:46They're both getting contact behind the line of scrimmage 40 plus% of the time.
27:51Um, and so yeah, you let me grade it. Is there like Mike Washington, who I hated as a prospect, too, but had some
27:59offseason buzz. Um, my thing with him is like I didn't think he was good and then even if he was good, I didn't think he
28:05could be a volume back. And right now it's like he's barely touching the ball and Ashton Genty's a major bellcow. But
28:12I don't know. I'll let you grade this one, Brett. What do you think?
28:16>> It this is really hard for me, especially as more of the I would say the novice fantasy guy in the in the
28:22conversation because on one hand, I can look at this and say, man, they're giving their running back 25 touches a game. And so if Genty went down for any
28:30reason, Mike Washington to the freaking moon, and that's a super duper valuable handcuff to have, right?
28:36Yeah.
28:37>> The other hand, it's like Genti is getting 25 touches a game and if he stays healthy, there's literally no reason to roster Mike
28:45Washington. So, >> well, I kind of buy into the notion that Kubiaak wants him more involved and and certainly probably going to be more
28:52involved this week after again >> 2.29 yards per carry and three drops. He was awful. Ashton Jenty was awful.
28:59>> The drops. Well, yeah, you we can't always attribute yards per carry to the running back.
29:04>> I know. It was It was bad.
29:06>> When was the last time that happened?
29:07I'll I'll have to pull it up in uh Data Suite.
29:11>> Oh, yeah. We can We have a a gamefinder tool in Datau Suite 2.0. Um if you haven't used it yet, it's it's a lot of
29:18fun for conversations exactly like this.
29:20You can see the last time a running back had three drops in a game or any player had three drops in a game. It's probably
29:26pretty rare. So, >> well, I'm actually using the advanced receiving tool, and I'll have it in a second.
29:31>> Okay. Well, I think I'm going to grade this as a C.
29:34Okay, that's fine. Yeah, I think that's >> I mean the next name on our list I just like it's it's hard to grade anything
29:40too high until we get to this guy.
29:42>> Okay, this was the second most drops in Fantasy Points data history. Uh the most since 2022.
29:51Um yeah, it's rough out here.
29:54>> Can I while you're looking this up, can I ask you a question?
29:57>> Yeah.
29:59Knowing what you know about Gent's role and workload today, how would that have changed your opinion on where to draft him? Like if we were drew in a draft
30:07today, where would Genty go?
30:10>> Probably probably early round two. But I I still have a lot of the same concerns I had. And again, I wonder how much of
30:16this maybe it's like his peak utilization and it it it it starts to trend down and you know, a lot of that
30:24was just the Miami Dolphins matchup where feels like anyone should go off.
30:29>> It's kind of a similar conversation to Hampton to me or Marin Hampton where it's like I mean I can winge about the the scheme
30:37fit but the guy got 25 touches. Same with Genty, >> right?
30:41>> But it's like does that continue when you're averaging 2.29 29 yards per carry with three drops.
30:46>> It's fair. Next one on the list, EMTT Johnson, Kansas City Chiefs running back, only owned in 27% of leagues given
30:53Kenneth Walker's injury history. And I know we're not we're not certainly not rooting for that, but this has got to be. Is this the best handcuff in the
31:01freaking league right now? Is there a better handcuff?
31:05>> I think I think you might be right.
31:07Honestly, I think especially at cost.
31:10This is S tier, A tier. Um, bro, and he looks good. Like, I know it like maybe shouldn't count a lot because like
31:17Kenneth Walker also, by the way, looks like the best running back of all time.
31:21Um, Emma Johnson ranks 44th in touches, 13th in yards after contact per attempt or 13th in yards after contact, third in
31:30miss tackles forced, and then on a per touch basis, he's first in both categories ahead of Kenneth Walker. Um, Eric Beney's calling his ass off. We
31:40know he loves the running back position.
31:42You had Andy Reid today say quote unquote I think EMTT will continue to get more snaps and that'll take a little
31:49bit of the load off Kenny Walker. Um you know given Kenneth Walker's injury history given the fact that he's a rookie like Mike Washington and these
31:57rookies tend to get more playing time as the season goes on. I think he has real standalone value as like a borderline
32:05what the heck flex play this week against the Miami Dolphins which we've been saying might be the worst defense this past decade and by all accounts it
32:13really looks to be the case. Um and so you have that this week and then certainly major upside should Kenneth Walker one of the most injuryp-prone
32:23running backs historically u if he gets hurt. So I I like I like this call a lot man. I think he's S tier. I think he's a
32:31tier. Um probably at cost S tier.
32:34>> Scott Kenneth Walker is currently on pace for 476 touches this year.
32:39>> Yeah.
32:40>> So like they're going to have to dial that back at some point and Johnson will be the obvious beneficiary.
32:46So I I agree on S tier. What like from a fab standpoint, what percentage are you willing to go here?
32:54I think this this is important context for the listeners because they want to know like am I emptying the the war
32:59chest for for EMTT Johnson here or am I going to be still be patient and wait for for like a big time injury or
33:05something?
33:06>> Five to 10% I'd say.
33:08>> Okay, that's significant. That's significant for sure. And you have you like him in S tier despite that price tag?
33:17>> Yeah.
33:17>> Cool.
33:19>> Good to know. All right. A Brett special here. I mean, it depends on the league, too, by the way. Like,
33:26how deep is your league? Like, if you're in an eight team shallow bench, like he actually doesn't need to be rostered,
33:32but you know, so just just keep that in the back of your mind.
33:36>> Yeah, we assume we're talking to like 12 team leagues with 14 roster spots roughly, give or take. So, uh Okay, here's a
33:45Brett special on the list. Sion Vaky.
33:48>> Who's Brett?
33:50>> Oh, yeah. Sorry, a Brent special here.
33:52Brent Whitfield, [laughter] host of Fantasy Football Daily on >> Brent Whitfield and Chosen Barrett, baby.
33:58>> Yeah, let's [laughter] go. Let's go.
34:01Uh, Sion Vaky, Detroit Lions backup. We thought it would be Jacob Sailors. It has not been. It's been Sion Vaky. And
34:08again, just throwing him on here, he's owned in 0% of leagues. Jir Gibbs has obviously been an insane Below so far.
34:14He's on pace for what, 580 touches this year, something ridiculous. So if, god forbid, anything happened to Gibbs or even if they scale his workload back a
34:24little bit, cuz they're going to have to. Vaky has been the only other running back that has really played, he's actually got some significant run in on
34:31pass downs. Um, not touching the ball a lot, but he is running routes, pass protecting, things of that nature. So, and if you listen to the coaching staff,
34:39they keep talking about wanting to get him more involved. So, it's just it's just one to keep your eye on. Again,
34:44really deep leagues. If you got 16 17 roster spots and you got a dead spot, might be worth a Z bid, but I wouldn't
34:51wouldn't go higher than that. I'd call it a Dtier. What do you think?
34:55>> Yeah. So, shout out to the high stakes players out there. Um, you know, you know, Theo Ginger, good friend to the
35:01the podcast, but a total elitist when it comes to the game of fantasy football and waiverss. You know, we're talking Emma Johnson, Jonah Coleman, Theo Ginger
35:12is gonna tell you the only leagues you could get Jonah Coleman are in Narnia.
35:18And uh listen, listen, we're we're men of the people, okay? We're we're the people's waiverwire YouTube. Uh so I'm I'm talking to uh Abu Toba, one of the
35:30best high stakes players of all time, and Theo Greinger. uh he does the best high stakes waiverwire video and column in the space. Uh I asked them like who
35:39are the best ads in high stakes leagues and it's like there's no one. It's it'sion the the first guy they mentioned
35:46was Sion Vaky and it was like Laquan Treadmill Marcus Marota [laughter] treadmill um Bryce Young and so
35:56>> yeah it's barren out there but in in one of those leagues like this is an S tier ad and a tier ad but in a typical home
36:04league I'm going to say B tier um because I think you're right like it's hey if Jir Gibbs goes down he's going to
36:11be the lead back in one of the most valuable backfields in fantasy historically. But it's also possible we see something like Tank Bigie where we
36:19think it's going to be Bellcow usage and it's not. It's a committee.
36:23>> Um but who knows or maybe it's like Aaron Jones where Aaron Jones was just the the Bellcow. Um so I would say um B
36:31tier [laughter] >> Laquan treadmill did not fetch any results on Google. That's great. Uh motion man, go ahead and move Vaky up to
36:41to B tier. The the man has spoken. I I am not I thought you were gonna clown me for this for putting him on here.
36:46>> No. No. It's a good I mean like my whole thing is like all handcuffs are the same, but [clears throat] I don't think
36:52that's the case with Vaky and EMTT Johnson. Certainly not at cost.
36:56>> Gotcha.
36:58All right. Emanuel Wilson only owned in is that 1% of leagues and you just had 20 plus carries in a game because of
37:05Jaden Price getting injured. Zack Charbanet not expected back anytime soon. I don't know how severe Jerian Price's injury is yet. He's
37:13>> It's not serious at all supposedly.
37:15>> Well, he hasn't had scans. The scans are being done today.
37:17>> No, I I saw Here, I'll pull it up.
37:19>> We're recording this Monday afternoon for those that don't know. Um, so that's a reference point for what today is. But
37:27anyways, okay. So, so not serious at all. With that said, then with that context, how aggressive are you getting with Emanuel Wilson? Mike McDonald told
37:36so and so that it's a shoulder injury for or shoulder issue for Jarian Price, but he said it's intact and nothing
37:43serious. It seems like um >> I I don't like shoulder injuries for running backs though, Scott.
37:49>> I'd almost prefer like a like a ankle or a ham or a quad or something.
37:54>> Yeah, >> shoulder is not good.
37:57>> I will say Jarian Price is going to be in our buy low episode. He's looked really impressive to me. I know it's
38:02kind of a small sample, but um you can pull it up on the screen here a chart of all running backs by miss tackles force
38:10per attempt and yards after contact per attempt. Kenneth Walker is on his own planet, but number two is Jenarian Price. And so like if he didn't get
38:19hurt, he would have went off. Uh so Emanuel Wilson versus George Hani last week, 21 of 25 carries, one of two
38:29targets. How many of that would have went to Jadarian Price? Um, and like you have the So, there's that. I if Price is
38:37out a while, you have the proof of concept of Kenneth Walker being a bellcow in the playoffs averaging like 25 fantasy points per game on like 23
38:47touches per game. That said, I I kind of think Jenarian Price is fine. I think Emanuel Wilson's Dtier or F tier and
38:54it's really more about price being a buy low because had he stayed healthy I think he would have been I don't know
39:00top 10 on the week.
39:01>> Scott is are we just destined that the Seattle Seahawks are going to torment us forever with the backfield stuff >> because
39:09>> okay so coming out of week one we're super upset about the split between Price and Ho Lonnie right? Oh, >> whoa, whoa. Sorry. And then
39:18>> name Karens are loving this episode.
39:21>> And then week two, Ho Liny finally takes a backseat to Jerry Jarian Price and then he gets hurt. And then we got
39:28Emanuel Wilson with 21 carries because they ran the ball 40 freaking times.
39:32Like what is that's the worst luck ever.
39:35>> He's pretty pretty unlucky. Yeah.
39:37>> Yeah. Oh gosh. Well, I'm glad Jaderen's going to be fine, but hopefully uh I almost I kind of prefer they they like
39:44give him a week off.
39:46>> Yeah. You know, that's something Jeff and I talk about quite a bit. Like some So, the Packers are notoriously slow and
39:52conservative with injuries and then some teams like the Buccaneers like rush their guys or Pete Harold and it's typically backfired. You saw it with
40:00Ibuka and Baker last year. You saw it with Brock Bowers last year.
40:04>> Exactly. All right. Last guy on the Oh, wait. Did we tear out Wilson? I'm sorry.
40:10>> Yeah, he's F tier.
40:12>> Ftier. Okay. Last guy on the running back list is Alvin Chimera, my old friend. 29% owned.
40:20>> Uh him him being back basically just made Kendra Miller expendable. Was he inactive in that game or just >> He was inactive in that game. That's
40:28hilarious. Actually, CJ Donaldson had 20 snaps.
40:32>> He's He's like a fullback for them though.
40:34>> Oh, is he?
40:35>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he's he's a >> he's a black guy, so I assumed he wasn't a fullback. [laughter] >> If he was a he was a white guy, I would
40:41have been like, "Oh, he's for sure a fullback."
40:44>> What? [laughter] >> I'm sorry. What?
40:47>> I don't I just stereotyping um running backs out here, halfback versus fullback based on how he to get sunburnt.
40:56>> CJ Ham, some of the best fullbacks ever.
40:58Black.
40:58>> Yeah. Yeah, you're right. You're right.
40:59>> Yeah. Don't don't know what you're on about over there, but uh yeah. So Chimera, I mean he did he kind of what's
41:08the word you always use?
41:10Uh when you you like outshine somebody you >> mogged >> mogged them Alvin Chimera he kind of mogged a Chan, didn't he?
41:21>> Brah bro Saints fans were ready to do 25 to life over two podcasters who mispronounced the name. We got literal
41:29death threats. And it's ironic because now Travis Aan is dead to them and I think rightfully so. Shout out to Graham
41:36Barfield. Shout out to Scott uh chosen Barrett. Uh we did an episode here on this YouTube channel where it's like the
41:43worst picks you can make in every round.
41:45And Brett and I said, sorry, Graham and I said the worst pick at cost right now is Travis Achan. And lo and behold,
41:52Alvin Kamar led the backfield in carries in week two. He had three times as many targets. So, like I'm not really getting
42:00all that excited about Kamar. I think it has more to do with Travis Han being one of the worst picks you could make at
42:05cost. Bro, that contract looks awful.
42:08That looks awful. Um, and so yeah, I but I mean still, hey, like it's it looks like this this running this is like one
42:16of the least valuable backfields in fantasy. It should just be the Tyler Shuck show every week. Um, but you know, he he was the the lead back by XFP, so I
42:27can't put him any lower than Btier probably.
42:31>> Maybe some upside too if Han gets hurt.
42:33So >> that's >> What do you think? Do you disagree?
42:36>> I mean, A Han looks so bad. I have a guilty confession to make.
42:41>> Yeah, >> I have an obscene amount of Travis Hchan Dynasty shares.
42:46>> I mean, that's okay. I I I was >> He was so cheap to acquire last year, bro. that I got him all last year. He
42:52was free to trade for at the deadline.
42:54>> I was just flipping seconds and thirds all over the place just to get an extra running back in my lineup and
43:00>> I have an absurd amount of him. It's It's ridiculous. So, yeah, bummer. I thought he I thought he'd be a little better than he has.
43:08They The Saints actually do have a good offensive line. Their pass game has been cooking, too. So, I thought I thought uh
43:13he'd be a little bit better. But, yeah. Again, before we get over to the wide receivers, Scott is going to tell us about fantasy points.
43:20>> If you like fantasy football, I've got great news. Last year, our projections had the highest correlation to DraftKings fantasy points in the entire
43:29fantasy football industry. Our data is better, more accurate than what NFL teams were paying six figures for. With our new data suite 2.0, You know, you
43:39get the level of access of NFL teams at literally 1,000th the price. [screaming] >> That's probably a stupid business
43:50decision from a financial perspective.
43:52But those are the decisions you make when you're chasing greatness, when you want to be nothing more than the best football site on Earth.
44:01We're just a bunch of obsessive sickos who only care about football and being the best, most helpful football site on earth. If that seems up your alley, go
44:11to fantasypoints.com and use promo code great news for 15% off.
44:20All right, first receiver on the list is uh is a guy that Joe Dolan had to ask me. Hey Brett, who is this guy? Las
44:29Vegas Raiders wide receiver Cody White.
44:32Uh long-term player. I mean, he's been in the league for a while. Spent many years with the Seahawks as like a gunner
44:38slash return guy, special teams maven.
44:41Getting actual reps in the offense for the Raiders. That's how bad the wide receiver room is. That Cody White is getting some run. He scored two
44:49touchdowns yesterday, Scott. Is that right? Two.
44:51>> That's right. He leads all wide receivers in fantasy points per target, in fantasy points per per route run, fantasy points per snap. He's Clint
45:00Kubak's new Jackson Smith and Jigba. I think we have to go S tier.
45:05>> Stop.
45:07>> Uh F tier.
45:09>> Two targets, two touchdowns.
45:11>> This is how you could judge how soft your league is. If Cody White gets added in any leagues, if if if any if someone
45:19adds Cody White in your league, immediately spam them 10 different trade offers because that is a sign you can exploit them. They're just overreacting
45:27to what's happened through a two-eek sample. Uh yeah, >> can I have a slightly contarian take to that?
45:35>> Oh, I'd love to hear it, honestly.
45:37>> Well, it's not really anything to do with Cody White and more to do with the rest of this wide receiver group. This
45:41receiver group is nasty. It's disgusting. It's bad.
45:44>> Yeah, >> really, really bad. Jaylen Naylor is their de facto number one in terms of like talent.
45:50>> Trey Tucker's a a bit player. Jack Bch has been a massive disappointment so far as a second round pick. So, like it's
45:58not crazy to think that a guy like Cody White could carve out a role here is all I'm going to say.
46:04>> Yeah. I mean, it's it's it's not impossible, but >> the competition is nothing.
46:08>> It's a major long shot and there's like really nothing.
46:12>> Yeah. There's like um Doug Baldwin I saw coming. Adam Thielen I saw coming and there's like literally zero breadcrumbs
46:21that would hint at him being being a thing. [snorts] >> I I agree with you. I just wanted to, you know, say that piece that, you know,
46:29it's not impossible he beats out some of those bad receivers for playing time, >> but he's still in F tier, Brett.
46:35>> Still in F tier. Devon Veil. Uh we usually we don't go with guys that are over 50% owned, but there's a few on
46:43this list that are right at that fringe and he's at 51% owned. That's still not enough leagues. He should be owned in
46:49every league in my opinion. So the Saints off we we've talked about the Saints offense at nauseium now. It's the passing offense is cooking. Tyler Shuck
46:57looks great. Vele is their number two target right now at least until Jordan Tyson comes back. So what do what do you
47:04think about Vele?
47:06>> Yeah, man. I mean, he's the current wide receiver 12 by total fantasy points.
47:10Chris Olive is the wide receiver three.
47:12Over his last five games, he averages 14.7 fantasy points per game, 67 yards per game. He did that uh in a game he
47:21left early with an injury as well. So, like I I I'm kind of bullish, man. like we we saw it last year is like this
47:28offense could when Shuck is rolling when um Kell Moore is doing the you know the scam that is just insane play volume. Uh
47:38this is a really valuable role. So um he he definitely needs to be owned and rostered in your leagues.
47:47>> Uh I would put him I would B tier A tier. I I kind of want to put a pin in I want to I want to say
47:56Btier and then come back to him if that's possible.
47:59>> Okay, Btier it is. I will say that the Saints offense has been very consolidated so far. It's a it's Veilage, it's Jawan Johnson and then you
48:07know check downs to running backs for the most part. So I I do think this is a really valuable role for him at least
48:13until the next guy on the list gets back and that's Jordan Tyson who's owned in just 53% of leagues. Um do you think
48:19when he comes back that's going to be the end of Devon Vle? Can they coexist?
48:23Is there enough here?
48:25I don't know. But the upside with Tyson seems tremendous. What are you thinking on him?
48:30>> Right. So, I like I feel like I'm a little more excited about Tyson long term. I'm I'm someone who always cares
48:38more about the final four weeks of the season than the first four weeks of the season.
48:42>> I want a team that can steamroll through the fantasy playoffs. So, I want the players with the most second half
48:47upside. And I think I think that's Jordan Tyson. I think he's the more talented guy. Uh, but you know, that's not a shoeing. It could just be that I'm
48:55underrating Devon Vele. Um, I talked to Jeff Mueller. He thinks Jordan Tyson's coming back anywhere between week five and week nine. So, I can't go any higher
49:05than B. Um, because he's just going to be dead roster weight that entire time.
49:11But, I mean, if this were week three or if this were week four, you know, he might be an A tier. Um, and so like if
49:17you're in a deep ro or hey, if you're in a deep roster format, if you have multiple IR spots, this is an S tier. So
49:24Jordan Tyson, it's really kind of dependent on the league. But, um, yeah, I'm I'm pretty bullish on him. Uh, what do you think about the discrepancy in
49:34talent between the two receivers?
49:37>> Well, it can I sidestep that question for one second? I I want to say I think it's really I totally agree with you that
49:46rookies are typically players that come on late and we care about those last four weeks a ton. Tyson's a unique case
49:52study though because he missed mandatory mini camp. He risked missed rookie mini camp. He missed OTAAS. He missed a good chunk of training camp now. He missed
50:00the entire preseason. Now he's >> now missed the first two weeks. Like he has not got the practice time needed for
50:06a rookie to have that kind of a sense late in the year.
50:10>> And >> that's right. I I wouldn't be surprised if he was just a complete wash this season. Like >> like 200 yards receiving when it's all
50:17said and done, maybe a couple flash plays here and there, but like I I think the realistic role for him when he comes
50:23back without the practice time is like gadget guy, you know, guy we design some touches to, maybe get on some jet sweep,
50:29some screens, some shallows, but like I can't see him being a guy who's out there running routes, >> you know, and living within the
50:36structure of this playbook, unfortunately. Okay, so let's let's move him to C tier, but with the caveat that if you're in a league where 50% of the
50:47teams make the playoffs, if it's a deep roster league, if there's multiple IR spots, he could be an S tier, but
50:53probably in most leagues. Uh, just for now, as dead weight, uh, he's going to be Ctier.
50:59>> All right, Denzel Boston, Cleveland Browns, Stud Muffin, ex- wide receiver.
51:03I freaking love this guy. How cool are the Browns, bro? They drafted my number two and number three wide out in the
51:09draft this year. And Boston, >> bro, double tapping positions like that like almost always like it works. Like you hit on one of them. It's like the
51:18Packers did with that with Les Musgrave and then Craft. They did that with some other quarterback and then Jarry. Um they did that with Mark Andrews too and
51:28some some bust tight end >> Hayden [clears throat] Hurst and Mark Andrews who Hurst they took in the first round. Andrews is a better player in the
51:34third. Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar a couple drafts later. Isaiah Likely good player. Kar good player too actually.
51:42They they kind of draft tight ends pretty well there. But >> yeah, double tapping is great especially when you get a diverse skill set. Like
51:48Boston and KCC are very different players and it kind of opens up your playbook a little bit and and allows you
51:54to do a lot of different things. Um I think KCC also looks great but Boston definitely has the slightly better role
52:00right now. I will say it's notable that they are the two guys in 12 personnel.
52:03Now, that was not true in week one, but but in in week two, >> those were the two receivers they were
52:08leaving on the field in the heavier sets. That that's great.
52:12>> But Boston looks I mean, he looks awesome. The the route running looks fantastic. The run after catch stuff. I I wrote him up as a guy who had super
52:21underrated run after catch ability. He was a freaking punt returner in college at like 6'4, 220, which is pretty rare.
52:27Um, he's got really good movement skills, but he kind of plays pissed off and angry. shades of Puka Nua in his run
52:34after catch stuff where he's just very violent. So, I love what I've seen from him and I think he's kind of a really
52:40nice uh compliment to Deshun Watson who's kind of not the gunslinger he used to be. He's more of this run the offense
52:47kind of guy. Boston is a very secure route runner and and you know, catch point type player.
52:52>> Damn, that's a that's a sub tweet because I I called Deshawn Watson a gun gunslinger on last last night's episode
52:59and you you scolded me for that. Hey, so this is your guy. I'll let you tear it out and then I'll give you my thoughts.
53:05>> Yeah, he's only owned in 31% of leagues, which is crazy. He is >> He's the current wide receiver, 11 by
53:10total fantasy points, but 70% of his fantasy points have come on just two plays.
53:16>> That's okay. Big plays count, too. I'm going to go I'm going to go S tier here for me.
53:21>> I can't allow that. I I'll give you a tier. That's the best I could do is a tier.
53:25>> Oh, I can't allow that.
53:27>> I can't allow it. I can't. It's It's the Browns. It's Deshaawn Watson. It's and you think Casey Conpsion is the better
53:34talent and Harold Fannon is still there.
53:36>> Marginally better talent and also very different skill set.
53:39>> Hell will have to freeze over for the Browns to be able to support two plus fantasy relevant pass catchers.
53:46>> I'm looking at the list and I'm seeing two handcuffs at the S. Well, I guess Coleman's not really a handcuff, but
53:50EMTT Johnson at S tier. You're telling me a team's number one wide receiver doesn't deserve to be an S.
53:56>> Bro, it's all about upside. Like does what is tell you tell me Denzel Boston's upside and I'll tell you where he goes.
54:02>> 120 targets >> and what about Casey Conpsion's upside.
54:08>> 110 targets.
54:10>> So now you have Boston in the better role.
54:14>> I I said I led my rant by saying he was in the better role than KCC.
54:19>> Even with Even if Shadur takes over at quarterback, >> I'll give you S tier. I'll give you S tier. That's fine. Stand on business,
54:26Brett. I I respect.
54:28>> All right. I like that out of you.
54:31Here's a guy who I think looks fantastic. Adnai Mitchell. Did I just sound like Chris Collinsworth right there? Here's a guy.
54:37>> Here's a guy.
54:38>> Now here's Now here's a guy. Aditch.
54:41>> Dear Jamaican Trump. Everyone wants to hear it. You keep talking about it.
54:45>> Are you about to say, "Oh, wait. That's me that does a Jamaican Trump."
54:49>> No, I can't do a Jamaican Trump.
54:51>> Adnai Mitchell owned in 16% of leagues.
54:54New York Jets receiver. You know, this Jets team is legit. Like they're they're a football team. Like >> Oh, are they really?
55:02>> Yeah. Yeah.
55:03>> They the New York Jets.
55:05>> Yeah.
55:05>> A UFFL football team.
55:07>> No, no, they're an NFL. They they look like a football team.
55:10>> Wow.
55:10>> They should have beat the Packers on Sunday. Uh they had a nice week one win.
55:15The Jets are a team. They're I'm not saying they're a good team, but they're a functional football team. They've got a pretty good defense. They've got a
55:21really good offensive line. And the offense looks like they're going to be a be able to sustain fantasy production from multiple spots. Not named running
55:30back. Gino Smith actually looks pretty good. And AD Mitchell I think looks great and they're targeting him a lot.
55:37What you actually brought this to my attention. He he had like 150 air yards in week two or something.
55:43>> Yeah. Listen to this Brett.
55:44>> Very involved in the offense.
55:47>> Yeah. No kidding. And this is something I said heading into the season is I actually think AD Mitchell could be
55:53theoretically a better fit for Gino Smith than Garrett Wilson. I I was playing around with Fantasy Points data suite 2.0 know, and I was layering um
56:04you know, Gino Smith, his best routes to target, his best areas of the field to target with Adam Mitchell's best routes
56:11by ass, by yards per target, by anything, and his the best field positions where he works. And it's like all of his best routes are all of Gino
56:21Smith's favorite routes to target and and the ones he's best at throwing to.
56:26And so through two weeks here, Adani Mitchell has 15 targets. Garrett Wilson has 14. Adai Mitchell has 236
56:35airs. Garrett Wilson has 149.
56:40Wilson has run only one more route, has only 13 more receiving yards. So by production, by utilization, it's at least very, very close. And this is
56:51probably least surprising to chosen Barrett and Brent Whitfield because you and I were always Ascot big fans of the
57:00Ascod Adam and I Mitchell uh you know it didn't go well out there in Indianapolis but we you know like he was getting open
57:09man like and it was like rare separation abilities. Um, the question I have for you, and I asked you this already um in
57:17Discord earlier today, is I was I saw that Fantasy Points data had 80 Mitchell with 188 catchable air yards in week
57:28two, yet he only caught 47 worth. And I'm like, oh well, he typical ass god, you know, he has a great ass. He has
57:37awful hands. Um, but he only d he had one drop and it was three airy yards, so that doesn't explain it. So, so Brent,
57:45what what happened here? [laughter] >> Uh, yeah, you you asked me that and then do you want to read the reply I sent
57:53you?
57:53>> Yeah, let's hear it.
57:55>> I want you to read it.
57:57>> This week or whole season?
57:59>> No. No. After that, go down. Go down.
58:02>> I beg you to watch a football game.
58:04>> Just one.
58:05>> And I said no. Never. [clears throat] Never.
58:09>> I beg you to watch a football game, brother. Just one. Um, yeah. So, Mitchell, there are a lot of people.
58:16>> Listen, I watch the games and the spreadsheets. The >> Yeah. Is that what you do?
58:20>> Yeah, they >> speak to me.
58:23>> Well, uh, listen 80. The spreadsheets talk to that was my, uh, Arapjo Indian name.
58:33>> There's so many just crazy wild moments on this show. This is insane. Um, >> it's tough being in that chair. I said
58:41it at the start, man. I'll give you that.
58:43>> Yeah, it's true. I did not have enough coffee. I'm running on zero zero hours of sleep, by the way, and not don't have
58:48enough coffee to be doing this. But >> yeah, I'll give you your flowers real quick. Brett is not just the best film
58:54expert in the game, but he's also already watched every snap of every game. And it's >> five times actually >> early Monday. Crazy.
59:02>> So, so you told me to watch the game. I I told you to go after yourself because I'll never watch a game never [laughter]
59:10never watch a game of football. So So what happened?
59:12>> Can Can I talk about AD Mitchell now?
59:14Yeah. So AD Mitchell, I mean they gave him like a million deep targets and they a lot of them were contested. So those
59:22those don't go in the the system as drops, right? He didn't necessarily drop the ball. Some of them the defender got
59:26his hands on the ball first, but it was catchable. Um but really just contested catches downfield um were were the main
59:34thing. He drew a DPI, I think, on two plays actually. So, that's another He got tackled before he could catch the
59:39ball. Um, which is I, you know, I wish we'd get fantasy points for that DPI's drawn, you know. Um, so that that that's
59:47basically it. I think the thing that stood out to me about AD Mitchell though that was really awesome, he had all
59:52those deep targets, but when he wasn't getting the downfield stuff, they were giving him the easy button stuff, man.
59:57They threw him a little screen, they got him some hitches. Like, to me, that's a really valuable role. And I I like
60:05Garrett Wilson's an awesome receiver, top 15 guy in the league. I'm not worried about him at all, but I do think
60:10AD can be the a really nice wide receiver too there. And I think they're going to have the volume to sustain him
60:15week over week.
60:17>> Yeah. Listen, I'm kind of bullish on the Jets and I've been saying this all off seasonason is Gino Smith, who he's been
60:23to me as like poor man's Jared Goff where hey, like I went to war last year over the the people who heading into the
60:30season having him top 10 in their quarterback rankings. I thought that was egregious. But now we're at a point where he's like seriously underrated.
60:37He's listen with a clean pocket, he's like one of the top 10 most accurate passers in the league. He's really good.
60:44He's really efficient. with a dirty p pocket. He's like the worst in the league. But this is, like you said, a
60:50Jets have a really good offensive line, did you say?
60:53>> Yeah, really good.
60:54>> Really good offensive line, and he is a great stable of pass catchers where he has two good tight ends, a good
61:00passcatching running back, two to three really good uh wide receivers. And so, he could play point guard uh and like I
61:07said, great deep threat, great at the routes that Adai Mitchell likes to run.
61:11Um so, I'm I'm overall bullish. like I I don't know that he's going to have like wide receiver two upside, but certainly
61:19like maybe even this week and like most weeks moving forward is like you you can consider him for your flex spot and feel
61:26good about it. He's kind of like um the Jets Jame Williams maybe.
61:30>> Yeah, it's a great call. It's exactly a great call. He's going to have spike weeks because some of you he'll have
61:37weeks where those big plays hit, right?
61:38he'll catch a deep ball or two or it won't be a DPI and then he'll have weeks where they don't hit and you're a little
61:44disappointed but maybe a little volatile. Uh where are you tearing him out at though?
61:53>> Um A tier or Btier? What do you think?
61:55>> I think high B like the top B guy.
61:58>> Okay. B+ >> B+. And then and then fab wise, we didn't talk Boston fab. What would you spend on Boston? Well, I let you tier
62:08that one. So, >> but then you conceded to me. You >> I don't know. Uh 10%.
62:13>> Okay. Yeah. If if you go to the article on fantasyoints.com, uh Tom Broly says 10 12% on Boston, 2 to
62:214% on AD Mitchell. You know what's really cool? I didn't actually read Tom's article yet, and we came to the same conclusion. Like all the all the
62:29guys we we're talking about, he's talking about. That's cool. Uh let's blast through the rest of these wide receivers. This is We're going a little
62:35long here, which is okay. But Caleiff Raymond, 9% owned. We got two weeks now of him being the main guy, okay? It
62:43wasn't a a flash in the pan, oneweek thing. Two weeks now he's the guy. Caleb Williams, by the way, looks like he's
62:51going to be fine. He did all that crying for a hamstring.
62:57Certainly going to make me like him a lot more.
63:02Um, listen, you got to go S tier. I I'm calling this uh hellscape insurance because I don't want to live
63:11in the freaking hellscape where Khif Raymond uh has a higher target share, >> by the way. Khalif or [snorts] Coloulston Loveland. I don't want to
63:22live in that reality. But if I'm forced to live in such a reality, I want that guy on my team. Uh there's also
63:30contingent upside should Luther Burden or Romo Dunce get hurt. Um in reality this is this is a B tier because I
63:38refuse to accept that this is real and this is possible. Um but I mean it's happened two weeks in a row here. Uh
63:47week two he had three more routes than Luther Burden. He had one more route than Romo Dunay. I will say I think this
63:53is real is you know we we've been very very critical of of Caleb Williams. I really firmly believe Tyson Beant is
64:04going to be amazing for Luther Burton.
64:06And if I'm wrong then I was just way wrong on on who Luther Burton is. But I was looking into the numbers again. And
64:13it's like, yeah, Caleb Williams, highest um time to throw, lowest first read throw rate, low highest
64:24um offscript throw rate, highest bails from the pocket for no reason rate. And so like I think in a perfect world, Ben
64:33Johnson wants a quarterback who can run his system like Jared Goff, get the ball out quick, first reads open because guess what I'm Ben Johnson and I
64:42freaking schemed it that way and I'm a genius and I can get guys open at will and uh so I think and you did see that
64:49LA you know Tyson Bean had what six targets and three of those went to Luther Burden. So um I don't know I'm
64:57I'm kind of hoping for the best. I'm kind of hoping we see something different. Uh but you never know.
65:02>> What do you think?
65:03>> Five minutes later.
65:05Um Yeah. Yeah. That I got a question for you.
65:09>> Yeah.
65:10>> Does Does it bother you or impact you in any way that Caleb Williams cried and put his towel over his head over a minor
65:17hamstring injury?
65:18>> Are we really doing this? Are we first take? Do I have to give a take on on someone crying? Um
65:25>> I just want to know where you're at.
65:27Does it bother? Because if you look on Twitter, it's all people are talking about. People are really >> This is This is Ryan Heath's generation.
65:32It's the Zoomers. It's You had Ash and Genty had a freaking prayer circle over a low ankle sprain. Caleb Williams with
65:40a grade one hamstring was crying. He was screaming.
65:46Um yeah, I mean, it's not a look good look.
65:49I feel like the the old heads on the Chicago Bears are just like this guy's kind of soft, but like he's our
65:56quarterback and he's he's really good, so we got to got to got to rally around him. I don't think it matters. So I I I
66:03I kind of I'm trying to avoid giving a take. What do you think, Brett?
66:08>> You don't think it matters, so you're going to you're going to fence it and avoid a take? Okay, I'll give I'll give
66:12you my I am as a human being, Brett.
66:14Like I feel like you could chop off my hands and I'll just be like, "Oh man, this sucks. This really hurts." But like
66:21whenever I have a migraine or a headache, like I'm the world's whiniest My wife just like looks at me in utter disgust. I have to just do nothing
66:29all day and just sit in a dark room and and pout and cry like Caleb Williams. So I don't know. You know, maybe maybe it's
66:37maybe we're all we're all human beings, right?
66:41>> Okay. my take uh it's a little counterculture. I think there's virtue in men controlling their emotions and I think the better you are at at
66:52controlling your emotions the better of a decision maker you'll be and I think that probably translates to cry really >> I didn't say it's not okay to or I
67:02didn't say it's not okay to cry but and it's okay to feel but you definitely want to be in control of those emotions.
67:10Um, you know, uh, virtue my dad always kind of taught me growing up was like, hey, you should try to be the the
67:19strongest person at a funeral. You know, be be there for people to count on you for support >> and I think there's virtue in that. So,
67:28anyways, it doesn't bother me one bit though that it I don't care. I don't care. But I do think >> What do you What do you think, YouTube
67:34chat? Yeah.
67:35>> Do you think this is toxic masculinity from Brett or do you think you were valid here? So, uh yeah, sound off in
67:44the comments.
67:45>> Yeah. That said, I like I don't care. I do think you see the emotions that come out with him a lot, whether it
67:52was at USC, you know, crying in the stands with his mom after a loss.
67:55>> Man, I forgot about that.
67:56>> Yeah, I do think you see that in his play on the field. Same with like Baker Mayfield. Baker Mayfield is a roller
68:02coaster of a quarterback and it's because he plays with an emotional edge that's probably not good. He probably bleeds the line of of what's okay and
68:11what's not. So >> anyways, >> all of the great ones, you know, like Tom Brady, >> ice cold, >> they they say like you can never let
68:20yourself get too high or too low. You really got to stay even keeled.
68:25>> That's not my personality type. I I like riding the emotional roller coaster.
68:29Right. I'm a I'm a Baker Mayfield for sure. You know, >> that is my personality type. So, that's interesting. But that's probably why
68:36we're a good duo. All right, let's keep let's keep it moving. Xavier Worthy, another guy owned over 50% of leagues, but probably not enough. 56%
68:46owned.
68:47Um I I don't know. Patrick Mahomes was put on a freaking show on Sunday Night Football a week after we [laughter] we
68:56called him cooked. Or at least I did. I don't know if you you supported me in that. I I said he looked uh washed. He's
69:03looked washed for for years to be honest. It's not like that was a oneweek reaction, so don't call it an overreaction, but he he really struggled
69:09in week one like he had the past few years. But week two, man, this dude put on a freaking show. And Worthy, I felt
69:16like was a big beneficiary of that. And um you know, if Mahomes is going to be on a a mission like that, I think
69:24Worthy probably has some value. What do you think?
69:28>> Well, you put him on the list. I I kind of wanted to sidestep this and just [ __ ] all over Rashid Rice, who no one was
69:34lower on in the industry than I was. And if you're just counting first read targets through two weeks, Kelsey has 13, Xavier Worthy has 13, Kenneth Walker
69:43is eight, Rasheed Rice seven. It's not good. Uh it's pretty bad.
69:48>> And so here's here's like the real take is like I I do I'm not an Xavier Worthy guy. I've never been. You never have
69:56been. Two years ago I was saying like Taekwon Thornton's a better Xavier Worthy. And that was like a hot take where people thought I was joking and
70:04now it's like oh yeah that's like a valid that's a valid take someone could have and he's might be right. Um but
70:12it's yeah he he looks like he has a more valuable role. We were very critical of Patrick Mahomes who looked amazing in
70:20week two. Travis Kelce right now is the number one receiver, but he's old and these old guys kind of wear down as the
70:27season goes on. So, I I feel like I have to be somewhat bullish on Xavier Worthy in this position, even if he's not a
70:35player I'm all that high on. What do you think?
70:38>> Well, I Yeah, I don't like the skill set. I actually don't even like the role. He's kind of more in the rashy
70:43role right as of right now where it's like it's all low A dot stuff. Taquin Thornton's been the down. That makes
70:50sense cuz he sucks as a deep threat.
70:53>> It stinks when >> That was the one That was like the funniest stat was like so he had the fastest 40 time ever
70:58>> and he had the worst career yards per target on deep passes of any round one through five wide receiver all time.
71:06>> Yeah, he can't. He really struggles to track the deep ball is his big issue. So >> you said that coming out and people
71:12>> Yeah, >> people clown at you for that. Yeah, >> people were mad online. They're mad they're mad online at me all the time,
71:17so it doesn't matter. But >> well, [snorts] you're just living in the future, Brett, because >> your your track record on those is
71:24great.
71:24>> Yeah. That said, if Mahomes is going to play that good all season, I do think Worthy has some fantasy value here. So,
71:29I I'd probably call him like a C-tier player, a C-tier ad. What do you think?
71:35>> Yeah. Btier, probably.
71:37>> Btier. Okay.
71:40Jacobe Meyers, 50% owned, available in half of leagues. We've seen Parker Washington dominate so far. Congrats to you on Exodia hit there. I have him on
71:50every reddraft team I have. Minus one.
71:52>> Oh, that that's amazing.
71:54>> Minus one.
71:54>> That's what I said in the draft guide.
71:55If you if you can't if you don't draft Parker Washington, we can't be friends anymore. And so I'm happy to hear that
72:01we're still friends. R >> we're friends in like 11 of 12 timelines because there's one league I don't have him. So that's okay. Uh Jacobe Myers
72:09though, you know, the way the Jags offense has kind of panned out is those are the two front runners. It is Parker
72:16Washington and Jacobe Myers. BTJ has been the odd man out in 12 personnel and they're playing a lot of it with their
72:23their new second round, you know, blocking tight end and Brettton Strange.
72:27And so I think this is significant. I I think we were a little unsure of how this rotation would work out and through
72:33two weeks we got a little bit of clarity here. I I think it's Washington Meyers and then BTJ as the three.
72:38>> Yeah, I don't see that being the case.
72:40BTJ and some brutal quarterback shadows.
72:43Has way more targets than Jacobe Myers who has three through two games. He's a drop. He's a He's a D. He's a D. He's
72:50He's not someone I really uh >> care about at all.
72:55>> It's the Parker Washington show, which I tried to tell you. So, it is what it is.
72:59>> I can't believe you just did that to me.
73:01>> Yep.
73:04>> That's unbelievable.
73:05>> I waver Mogio. Sorry.
73:07>> You did. You just sl You just slammed me on the table. That's all right.
73:11Uh Dante, >> we're in a Buffalo tailgate.
73:13>> Yeah, Dantavian Wix, 28% owned. He's, you know, >> hey, listen, he's kind of like, uh, AD Mitchell, you know, another ascod we
73:23really liked. Uh, he's playing really well. He's wide receiver 14 by yards.
73:28He's wide receiver 40 by targets. The issue I have is he played behind Mai Lemon by route share in week two. Uh, so
73:36really kind of just a part-time player, unfortunately, even though Brett and I both think he's a better player and a better fit for this offense than Mai
73:43Lemon. Hot take. Um, but you know, if he's going to be playing behind Mai Lemon, uh, he's he's just a Dtier, Ctier
73:50for me.
73:53>> Yeah, I mean, Lemon looks bad bad though, so >> he does. I mean, you called it. So, >> yeah. I mean,
73:59>> well, we'll have maybe that changes, but it's like until that changes, he's >> sure >> he's not someone I feel the need to
74:06carry on my roster.
74:08>> I think when they get non-favorable matchups for for Smitty, I think he'll have big weeks. So, >> and maybe it happens this week without
74:16Dallas, right?
74:17>> Yeah.
74:17>> All right. Ctier, you you sold me.
74:19>> All right. Rashad Baitman, 17% owned.
74:22Uh, looked great. Another another ass guy really if you think about it. Great route runner. always been a good route runner for him. The the the big
74:30disconnect with Baitman's just always been health and he can't he can't stay healthy for more than a few games at a
74:36time it seems like and then he's playing through hammies and whatnot plus a relatively consolidated you know run first offense in Baltimore all these
74:43years but with no Z Flowers he showed out this week I don't know when we're getting Z back um hopefully soon but
74:51>> Right. Well, that's the thing is like he feels like just a oneweek rental to me or at least however long until Z Flowers
74:57comes back. But hey, like what a rental he is. Um >> nine targets, seven catches, 88 yards, one touchdown, 29% target share, 40% air
75:08yardage share. Always been an ass guy, average separation score, but uh never a target earner. You you certainly saw that. Baltimore, by the way, is top
75:17three in rates of 13 personnel. Week one that was Zay Flowers in the one wide receiver spot. This past week it was
75:24Rashad Baitman. So that utilization by necessity lends itself towards more targets. I I kind of think he's going to be out alphaed by Zay when Zay comes
75:35back and then, you know, flip-flopping between himself and Mark Andrews as the two where it's not really dependable, not a ton of upside. Um, but just just
75:46for the short-term role and like, hey, what if this injury lingers? He's got to be B tier or A tier 10% 12% price enforcement bidding.
75:58>> What did Tom have it at?
76:02>> Let's see.
76:05Oh, I guess he was a lot lower.
76:08>> Well, yeah. I mean, you're calling him a rental. Why would you spend 10 plus percent on a rental?
76:13Um, what if what if Zay Flowers is actually out two or three weeks and then like what if this offense just [ __ ] and
76:21he's, you know, like the clear number two? Like >> Ravens offense looked elite week one with Z Flowers there. I don't know.
76:28Btier, screw it. Btier 7%.
76:31>> Btier. Okay, let's move to tight ends.
76:33We got a couple tight ends to get through and then we're going to get >> Tom Tom knows the waiverwire better than
76:38I do. He's he's a goat at that. So, yeah, we could split the difference at a bare minimum.
76:45>> Okay, first tight end we're going to talk about is a Ronda Gadson.
76:50So, this is a guy calling him Were you calling him Enron Gadson all >> or was that was that Trey Camberling?
76:58Yeah. And look at where we are, Trey.
77:00>> Yeah.
77:03Hold on.
77:03>> We got a a possible season ending injury to David and Jojoku who was carded off with a knee injury. He got a uh Charlie
77:10Kolar clone to the bone by the way in a sling after the game. Harbaugh provided no update on either guy. You just tired
77:17of listening to me? You're going to pull the headphones away from the ears? No.
77:20>> Uh so Gadson potentially stepping into a role he had last year and over a few game stretch where he dominated
77:28um and lo and behold, David and Jooku leaves the game and Aronda Gadson immediately scores a touchdown. So I don't know. Just saying, Scott, like I I
77:36think there's something here. If if Injoku's out for the year and Kolar is going to miss some games. Gatson is a
77:43must pick up especially considering the dysfunction in the receiver room with a banged up lad with a QJ that looks like
77:50a chicken with his head cut off with a Trey Harris that literally can't win a route. I mean, it's we're we're in dire
77:57straits in this passing offense right now and with Mike McDaniel and Justin Herbert. So, this might be the best thing that could have happened for them.
78:02a dynamic move tight end that can actually win one-on- ones.
78:08>> Bro, you nailed it. This is a player I was really high on. To me, he's like Dalton Concaidesque uh like poor man's but like really not
78:16that poor man's. Um >> not as good after the catch, but route running very similar. Yes.
78:22>> Right. His his whole thing is, you know, he's not going to get on the field because he can't block. But now they
78:27have no choice. In the fourth quarter, he had a 75% snap share, 90% route share. We don't know how long Kolar is
78:34out, and Joker is going to be out a really long time. So, I I got to go A tier or S tier.
78:39>> S tier.
78:40>> Okay. S tier. 7 to 12%. [laughter] Yeah. Nice.
78:46>> Motion's threatening an F.
78:47>> Yeah.
78:49>> 7 to 8%. Yeah, I like that. All right.
78:52TJ Hawinson.
78:54This is one he's only own in 30% of leagues. this man how far he has fallen.
78:58He used to be a you know >> he used to be not washed and now he's washed so he seems >> No, I think he looks good. This is this
79:05is going to be my take.
79:06>> This is going to be my take. I think he's got some of some of the motion back to to steal a pun from Trey.
79:11>> Damn.
79:12>> Now, is he is he back to prime TJ? No.
79:15But I thought he looked horrible last year. But he he's got a little he's got a little something to him this year. I I
79:21like it. It's really the quarterback.
79:23>> Let me tear it.
79:24>> You let me tear it? Yeah. And then I'll adjust it.
79:29>> If we're calling Gatson an S, I'd call him like a high B.
79:33>> All right. So, I we're gonna put him in the C tier.
79:35>> Okay. Okay.
79:36>> Because I just have a hard time imagining a Kyler Murray offense can support three pass catchers.
79:43>> But what if it's two? What if it's Jefferson and Hawk?
79:46>> I thought you said Addison's like awesome. He sucks now. He's worse than a slightly washed Hawinson.
79:51>> How many times do we got to go over this? Talent and opportunity.
79:54opportunity are not the same thing.
79:55>> What is talent?
79:57>> Talent and opportunity. Talent and >> like talent.
80:01>> Yeah, it's like talent.
80:03>> Am I saying talent?
80:05>> I can't even hear it. That's how that's how ingrained it is into me.
80:08>> Anyways, it's not the same thing. Yeah, I think Addison's a very talented player, >> but maybe the offense works better with
80:16Hawk and and Jefferson as the front runners, especially with Kyler coming from a Trey McBride offense.
80:24I I'll give you a B tier. I'll give you B tier because some people out here have Kyle Pittz, they have Coulson Lovelin,
80:30they have Harold Fannon, and they're panicking and >> maybe you could play matchups. Oh, baby.
80:36Um, well, we got one last tight end here, Brett.
80:39>> Yeah, and this is this is more of a deeper dive. Owned in 3% of leagues, literally free in pretty much every
80:45league. Darren Waller, the red zone maven himself. He's got a touchdown in both games to start the season.
80:52Uh yeah, >> he had two. He had two in week two.
80:55>> Oh, that's right. He did have two. So he's got three touchdowns already.
80:59>> And this is what he did with the Dolphins last year. He had ran like nine routes per game and had like two
81:05touchdowns per game.
81:06>> Yeah.
81:07Yeah.
81:08>> Yeah. Well, listen, here's the thing.
81:09Like I barely think Carolina can support one pass catcher, let alone three. And like T McMillan's really good. Jaylen Coker's
81:19really good. Darren Waller retired and then got divorced and then became a rapper and now he's playing football
81:28again kind of. I just I think he's F tier personally.
81:33>> Okay, that's fair. He's on here for the deeper leagues though. Got to remember.
81:37>> Yeah, I don't care >> if you're a 14 teamer. If you're a 12 team, 18 roster spot kind of >> prove me wrong, Darren. Prove me wrong.
81:44>> Yeah, prove him wrong.
81:46I mean, what's his his per route efficiency the last two seasons? It's got to be just absurd.
81:51>> Oh, yeah. But you you're dropping your your threshold to the dirt. Cody Whites of the world.
81:58>> Not that low.
81:59>> Not that low.
81:59>> Not that low. But [snorts] all right, cool. That's That's it. That's the waiver waiver wire episode. We talked about like 30 guys, I feel like.
82:07>> Yeah.
82:08>> You feel good?
82:08>> I feel great.
82:10>> All right. What are we doing tomorrow?
82:11Oh, tomorrow's the vibe sesh.
82:12>> Yeah. Listen, if you're a Fantasy Point subscriber, uh, use our waiverwire tool.
82:17It's so helpful. You could sort by, uh, current week projections. So, if you if you need a spot start, that's really
82:24good for that. Or you could sort by our rest of season rankings. So, if you want someone with more long-term upside, it
82:30tells you who your what your biggest positions of weaknesses are um, and all that. So, yeah, this is a fun show, but
82:38but that that tool is going to be just as helpful as this episode. Uh, and tomorrow we're going to do buy lows,
82:44sell highs. Really excited about that.
82:46>> Are we taking questions from the audience?
82:48>> We can.
82:49>> Yeah, we're Let's do it. So, on this video, I need you to comment questions for tomorrow's show.
82:55>> Oh, >> anything you want to ask Scott and I.
82:59>> Oh, that's good.
83:00>> What's wrong with you? Are you okay?
83:01>> No.
83:02>> Oh, you had a grimacing look on your face when you said, "Oo, >> do it on YouTube. We'll we'll check the
83:06comments. We'll check the replies."
83:08>> Yep.
83:09>> Anything goes.
83:10>> Anything goes.
83:12Wow.
83:13>> All right, >> don't do that.
