0:01Isaiah Pacheco coming off the board in
0:03the late 12th round, running back 49.
0:06Right now, he's locked in as the running
0:08back two for the Lions this season.
0:09Season meaning he's obviously going to
0:11need an injury to Gibbs. For him to hit
0:12his true ceiling, it is not going to
0:14come in a season where Jamaal Gibbs
0:16stays fully healthy. But that's
0:17obviously also the case for every single
0:20running back going this late. I think
0:22his baseline is going to have a larger
0:23role than people are expecting right
0:24now. He's exact style of player that Dan
0:27Campbell loves. He's very physical. 100%
0:31on every single play. You watch him run
0:33and it's just like that is a Dan
0:35Campbell running back. He is not Jamaal
0:37Montgomery, but if he could even be like
0:3970% of what Jamaal Montgomery is, then
0:42he could provide legitimate weekly value
0:46in this offense. The Lions backfield by
0:49far scored the most points per game last
0:51season. They combined all the running
0:52backs for 28 and a half half PPR points
0:56per game. That was five points per game
0:58more than Baltimore more for fifth
1:01place. That is insane production, and
1:04Detroit now has the single easiest
1:07rushing schedule in the league this
1:08season. So, if Pacheco can get even like
1:1130% of the running back fantasy points
1:14on the Lions, then that's the same as
1:16last season getting 50% of the fantasy
1:19points on the Vikings, the Eagles, the
1:21Cardinals, the Chargers. Now, I don't
1:24think when you have Jamaal Gibbs
1:26healthy, that you're going to be like
1:28playing Pacheco at running back But I
1:30think, you know, sometimes we overrate
1:34what it takes to occasionally need
1:36someone at running back two,
1:38occasionally need someone in the second
1:39flex spot. There will be weeks where you
1:41have multiple running backs on bye,
1:43where your starter gets injured. There's
1:44going to be some weeks where you're
1:45like, I just need something for my
1:47running back two to get by and not take
1:49a zero. And I just feel like if he's in
1:51this Montgomery role, then he's going to
1:53have occasional goal line looks. He's
1:55going to have occasional times where
1:57they're up by 14 to 21 points in the
2:00fourth quarter and he's used in a
2:02clock-killing situation. I think he'll
2:03have some value in that sense. And then
2:05if Gibbs were to miss time, he's
2:07probably a talented enough player where
2:08they'd be perfectly comfortable giving
2:09him like 17 plus opportunities. And at
2:12that point he's easily, you know, a
2:14high-end running back two, maybe a
2:16low-end running back one in a good
2:18match-up. And that's of course the
2:19upside we're really looking for this
2:21late.
