0:00What's going on guys? It's Nick here back with another video. Today we're doing two mock drafts. So, a lot of you
0:05have been asking, "Nick, can you please do a Superflex draft?" But then a lot of you hate Superflex. So, to make everyone
0:11happy, we're going to start with Superflex. There's always um timestamps in like the description at the bottom of the video. So, if you don't want to see
0:19Superflex, you can skip right to the next mock draft we'll do. It'll be a regular mockdraft Monday for that one.
0:25Uh but this one will be Superflex 12 team. Uh I'm going to do half PPR. uh just so we can get uh combination of the
0:32most accurate ADPs. Um I'm going to do from the the 10 pick. Um I'll kind of talk about basically though like how
0:38strategy can kind of change depending on where you are. I think the later picks are just harder. You have more decisions
0:42to make in a late first round pick for superflex. Again, we have superflex turned on and then we're going to do
0:48like a regular format. So two running back, two wide receiver, one regular flex and then obviously the second uh superflex spot added up. So,
0:58pull this up. How it's going to look in a superflex draft this season is you're probably going to always have Josh Allen
1:05going first overall. I don't think people will go Gibbs and Bejon. U people know obviously you're at this 101 when you get back into the second round. It
1:15is unlikely you land even a top 12 quarterback. I mean, a lot of the elite quarterbacks are gone. So, if you
1:23don't take one at this early first round pick, uh, you can fall really behind.
1:28Um, I also want to note that every mock draft or every draft is different for your specific leagues. There are some
1:33people reach out to me who are like, Nick, I'm in Superflex and literally one quarterback is going to go in the first
1:38round. Nobody takes them until round two. That's very different from some leagues where it's like, okay, 10 quarterbacks going to go in round one.
1:45So, it's difficult sometimes to mock it.
1:47Uh, you can play around with the settings in the mock draft as well, but know your league obviously when it comes
1:52to that. What I think is going to happen is Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Drake May, um, also Jaden Daniels I think will go in every single
2:02first round. I think in leagues that are more aggressive at quarterback, you'll see Jaylen Herz as well and maybe Caleb Williams as well go in the first round
2:11and then people will take a pause. So, if we see all those quarterbacks go in round one, I think you're looking at
2:16Herbert, Lawrence, uh, Dak, probably Dart, Perie, like that general range could go in two, but you'll see a little bit less if people took them in round
2:28one. Um, and then you start to breathe a little bit rounds two, three, four, skilled players get mixed in a little
2:36bit more. But once you end up in rounds five, six, seven, you're not going to be having quarterback options. You have to
2:41understand that you can wait, but you can only wait too long. Um, from my perspective, I do think Allen, Burrow, Lamar, May, and Daniels, if you have the
2:53opportunity to draft any of them in round one. And basically, like if we're at this pick, right, I would probably just take all of them over uh JSN, over
3:04Puka, probably over Jamar Chase as well.
3:07I would maybe take Gibbs, maybe take Bejon uh kind of ahead of this general second range of uh quarterback. But for
3:14the most part, if one of those like top end quarterbacks are there in round one, I think my strategy this season is lock
3:20them up, go skilled player, probably running back in round two, uh and then maybe go back to quarterback in round three. One thing I also want to know,
3:28uh, I've done very little research into superflex, but one of the things I did look at, uh, because I had access to so
3:33many leagues was what is like the worst thing you can do in a superflex league, and that is take two quarterbacks to
3:38start. So, do not take two quarterbacks, quarterback one, quarterback in round two. In a superflex league, it is like the single worst thing you can do almost
3:45in all of fantasy football in like all formats. Uh, you just don't want to be doing it. It's far too aggressive. Uh,
3:51so for this draft, um, I would just take Jane Daniels. Um the rankings don't love it the rankings at 16. Um it's difficult
4:00at times to project out especially the early rounds of Superflex just because there's so much variance in these leagues. Personally strategy-wise I
4:09would add in a strategy component and say yes these players project very well.
4:14You'd love to have Aman Raw JT McAffrey Jefferson. From my perspective, I'm going to get one of those anyways in the
4:22next round, but I know I'm not going to get Jaden Daniels. There's no way he last passed these last two teams. So, I
4:28would just take Daniels and probably just take whichever, you know, really high-end skilled player is there at my next pick. Um, if Daniels was not there
4:35and I had the option between Kale Williams and Jaylen Herz, I'd probably make the same decision. I probably would still just say, "Okay, who's a top
4:42quarterback in the rankings?" Um, take them and then take skill player after that. um you could maybe be more aggressive because I do feel like Jaden
4:49Daniels, even though there was only one spot here, I feel a lot better about him than um some of the other quarterbacks,
4:55you know, like I feel better about him than Caleb than Jaylen Herz. Maybe you could argue uh I would go Jonathan
5:01Taylor first and then hope that one of Caleb or Jaylen Herz is there in the second round, but the point would be
5:07first two rounds I would want to just make sure I'm getting a good skilled player and a quarterback. That's how I
5:12would want to do it. So, I'm gonna take Jane Daniels at this one. Uh, it looks like Caleb and Herz go, Aman Rock, Chris
5:18McAffrey go, and so I will take Jonathan Taylor at the next one. Okay, that's how things start off. Again, we got what we
5:26wanted, Jane Daniels and then Jonathan Taylor. And like I said, you're going to see things open up. So again, it depends
5:33on your league, but in a lot of leagues, rounds two and three, you're going to start to see a lot more skilled players.
5:37So after we go uh Genty, James Cook, Han, Hampton, Ken Walker, and Saquon go in rounds two and three. Uh you see
5:44Jefferson, Lamb, uh London, AJ Brown, Nico, and George Pickkins go. You see Brock Bowers go in round three. I think he will get pushed into the third round.
5:52Uh given all the quarterbacks there. And then we see unfortunately a run of four quarterbacks go before us. Dak. Um oh, it looks like Oh, okay. Never mind.
6:00So Herbert goes I was going to say Herbert didn't go. Herbert goes in round two and then Dak, Trevor Lawrence, Jackson Dart, and Brock Purie. So, top
6:07quarterbacks on the board for us are Bonix, Jared Goff, Kyler, uh, Mahomes, Baker, Stafford, Jordan Love, you know,
6:17keeps going after that. Um, I would say that Nicks, Goff, and Kyler are a grouping that I would really like to get
6:26um, at this like three, four kind of turn here. And again, there's only be four picks that go by. So, there's a
6:31decent shot I can get one of them in round four. So, note that. But I think I would want one of those and I don't
6:38really care which one. Um value-wise they're a little bit different but like from a upside perspective um there's a case to be made for all of them. Right.
6:47Bon Knicks adding on um you know still young quarterback ascending decent coordinators also um adding on Jaylen Wadd that's obviously going to benefit
6:56him. Jared Goff I mean what if the loss of David Montgomery makes it so they throw the ball at a higher rate
7:02especially near the goal line that would be pretty awesome. Uh, also easy schedule, dome games, like he's got great upside this season. Kyler Murray,
7:09Kevin McConnell's a great offensive coordinator. I mean, he's a head coach, but like he's a great coordinator. He's great calling plays, designing plays.
7:15Uh, Kyler's a big upgrade over McCarthy.
7:18Um, so you have the great system. You have the dome games. Um, you have some mobility. He won't run as much as he has
7:23in previous seasons. He's got a lot of mobility. Like there's a lot of great reasons for these guys. As you get into
7:28Mahomes, Baker, um I honestly I feel like I maybe need to bump up Stafford a little bit more than I have him right
7:35now. Um but as you get into the rest of them, there's at least question marks, right? Stafford might run for zero
7:39rushing yards this season. Like that's not hyperbole to say he might have zero rushing yards. Like some quarterbacks are like, "Oh, they're not very mobile.
7:46They only have 200 rushing yards in a touchdown." Literally zero, like nothing on the ground. So that's a concern if you see some regression in the
7:54touchdowns. Mahomes coming up with the torn ACL like he's not going to have we see the mobility there. Uh Baker, what
8:00does losing Mike Evans do there? Like there's just more question marks with all these other quarterbacks. So I would like to get one of those three. And my
8:06goal in Superflex is to have three. I understand that you can have um any sort of um where's even I'm wondering where the super I turned
8:19on superflex. Well, we're going to see what happens in this draft. Obviously, the computer is drafting right now based on there being a superflex spot. I'm
8:30not sure where it showed up. So, maybe that's something I have to adjust in here. I'm like just noticing that right
8:34now. Um I don't know. 1 2 3 4 5 six. We have the six bench spots. Maybe I needed to bump
8:42up flex one more, but we'll see what happens. Again, the computer's simulating as if this is a super flex draft, so it doesn't really matter if
8:48one of them happens to show up in the bench, but yeah, this should be a super flex draft. Anyways, um my goal would be
8:54three. So, I want to have three quarterbacks that I trust. I know you can start a skilled player, but you're losing in the projection. Even these
9:03like lower-end quarterbacks every week.
9:05Um Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, Cam Ward, Bryce Young, Mendoza when he starts, like even those quarterbacks are going to project better, have a much higher
9:14floor, a much better ceiling than the flex option you're deciding between. the flex option you have has a floor of zero
9:20points. You know, has many outcomes where they score four or five points.
9:24That's just not the case of quarterbacks. They have a much higher floor. So, you really want to be starting quarterback in that uh
9:29superflex spot. All right. But, um Chase Brown's a great value right now. Um Derrick Henry's a great pick at this spot. Um you kind of get into Love and
9:39and Bree Hall kind of after that. Um I don't think you would go wide receivers.
9:44That's another thing in Superflex. I do push down wide receiver a little bit um just because running back remains important like the position still falls
9:51off aggressively. Quarterback's super important because I want two strong ones every single week. At wide receiver, it just feels like it gets thrown away
9:58because you can kind of figure that out in the middle rounds and it just doesn't hurt you that much to have a little bit
10:03weaker wide receivers in this format.
10:05So, I really just wouldn't go wide receiver here. Um McBride would be fine, but again, I'm a little bit off McBride
10:13this season. I think him and Loveland are very very close to each other. Um I just I wouldn't go there. And uh it's a
10:21little bit more risky going early tight end again with having that superflex spot because if you were going to add in
10:27um a non-quarterback, it's not going to be a tight end. So it just devalues tight end devalues wide receiver a little bit. Uh so I think what I would
10:35do is I would take Chase Brown. I'd hope one of these three quarterbacks are there. And I would love to start to
10:39quarterback to running back. then we can start moving in to the wider sear position. So, we'll do that. We'll take Chase Brown. We'll pull up the board. Uh
10:47we'll have all our quarterbacks still on the board. Nice. So, uh it's Eric Henry, Jeremiah Love, Breece Hall, and Crystal Lavo. So, we have the option here of
10:55taking that second quarterback. Uh we are the first team to take that second quarterback. I'm very much hoping that teams will still take it and they didn't
11:02mess up in the settings here. Um but again, like I said, you're going to see things open up a little bit more. So, I
11:09think we just go with Bon Knicks. Um, there's going to be a lot of picks that go by between us and our next one. In
11:13all likelihood, we'd be looking closer at this like Shuck Malik Willis range.
11:19That's what I would kind of expect to see. And I think that would be fine. But again, I want three quarterbacks I feel
11:27good about. So, I'd be fine taking a good quarterback here, taking that range, and be done at the position. I want to be finishing quarterback
11:35decently early. I don't really want that third quarterback to be like, you know, it can be bret if you're fine not having
11:43it late season, but I don't love it. I would like that third quarterback to be in this like like Mendoza I think would
11:50be fine. Mendoza, um Cam Ward, Daniel Jones.
11:55If you could get Malik Washer Shak obviously the third quarterback, that's fine. Um, but I think just locking it up in case you were in a league where
12:03there's a huge run just because there's so many picks that go by between our next pick. Um, if you're in a league
12:08where people start drafting a ton of them, you don't end up with a good one.
12:10Like your second quarterback is Michael Penn Jr., it's over. It's over for you, right? Like so it's like I just want to
12:15lock in that second one. So we'll go with Bonex and we will see what happens.
12:21All right. Not too many quarterbacks go.
12:23So Stafford goes, Mahomes goes, Goth goes. And that was basically kind of the range I had talked about of like kind of
12:29this better tier of quarterback. Um other players that go McBride and Loveland are off the board and then kind of an even mixture of running backs and
12:38wide receivers teams kind of, you know, filling out those positions. It's basically the ones you would expect to go. So, um here's our option. We can
12:48take Kyler, who is actually the end of that general range. Um again, it's showing up on the bench. I don't know. I
12:54think that's something in the UI. I just have to fix in putting in uh that Superflex spot. Um but the teams are
13:00going to draft on Superflex obviously.
13:02Um we can take Kyler and finish off the range because I do view this next grouping as a little bit below him. Um
13:09we love Dave Montgomery, but that third um third running back not amazing. Um it is saying in the data not to go with
13:18that third quarterback here. So interesting. All the other positions are positive. But David Montgomery, um, DeAndre Swift, Judkins, kind of that top
13:26tier of running back. Um, pretty strong value on Pickkins. Obviously, we have the offensive stack risk here having Chase Brown. Um, I don't love it, but in
13:36a value this strong, I mean, in a regular draft, he's, you know, a third round pick. We're getting him in the
13:43late fifth round right now. My rankings have him way ahead as value. if Pickkins, like if that stack becomes just the top player in the rankings by a
13:50significant margin, excuse me, I think you just take it. Uh, and he is, I mean, a decent amount better than all these
13:56guys. Um, I would not go with Titan at this point. I would just wait a long time for that, especially I don't know
14:02if I'd want like I can stack the Bengals. I don't know how much I want to stack the Colts with the offensive risk
14:07just with uh not knowing for the quarterback play. So, I think I think this would actually be a pretty easy one. You would just go with T. Higgins.
14:14Very easily the top player in the rankings. Um, Kyler's great, but we don't need that third quarterback because we can't start
14:20it right now. So, take the wide receiver. All right, they go Baker and Shuck. Um, and Terry McLuren and Burden also off the board. This is actually a
14:30tougher call. So, at this point, I again have that option. So, it's basically all the players that we had start off here
14:36at wide receiver. Um, let's add Evans in here because he'd be a very good pick. Evans and uh Adams.
14:46Okay, this is how things kind of look at wide receiver.
14:52I think that I would probably take both of these wide receivers over um going with like this Swift and Judkins range just
15:00because we have JT and Chase Brown. I feel so locked in from David Montgomery that like I do feel like that wouldn't be a bad
15:09pick because basically if this is our super flex spot, we can fill our normal flex spot in with David Montgomery every
15:15week. We can have Jonathan Taylor, Chase Brown, and Dave Montgomery. I'm locking in like 20 touches a week at running back and I have T. Higgins and I have
15:24two good quarterbacks that I feel strong about. So, I feel like that's a really strong play. My only hesitation if we
15:31look back at wide receivers, if we see that general run happen and our second wide receiver becomes like Sutton, Metaf, Alec Pierce, that's not amazing.
15:41So there's a little bit more risk there.
15:43I also love Mike Evans and Adams this season because both of them could lead the league in receiving touchdowns. So difficult call. It's also a little bit
15:53less risky going with them just because um you know we draft that third quarterback or third uh running back. We only have
16:03one wide receiver. We basically have to go wide receiver in the next round. But if it's not a good value and there is a
16:07great value at running back, we've kind of locked oursel into a box. Whereas if we go wide receiver here, everything is
16:13available to us. We can draft a quarterback next. We can draft a wide receiver, running back. It really doesn't matter which position we kind of
16:19go after after this. So, from that perspective, I feel like you go with Mike Evans, but I wouldn't fault anyone for just grabbing Montgomery saying,
16:27"I'm locking in literally again 20 touches every single week. I don't want to have to touch running back for a while. Uh, I know the drop off is going
16:34to happen soon." My thing is, could we get Pard uh could we get Stevenson to still be fine uh in this next round?
16:41Maybe. And so, you're probably just saying, "Be riskaverse. Uh, let's draft uh your favorite between Evans and Adams. Evans is my favorite personally
16:50between the two of them. All right, see a decent amount of quarterbacks go. So after us, Kyler Love, Shroud, Daniel Jones, Malik Willis, and Bryce Young all
17:00off the board. Uh at wide receiver, it looks like Waddo, DJ Moore, and Adun, which means that Adams is still there, which is awesome
17:11for our build. Uh running back, we see Judkins, Henderson, Swift, Monty, Bashalt, Bucky Irving, and Jadarian Price go. So,
17:22multiple things here. One, looking back, uh oh, and so man, we can get really lucky with this build. So, doesn't actually matter.
17:33We I think did the right decision. Had we gone with David Montgomery, we could have had Adams and so that would have
17:39been totally fine. But going with Evans, we still get Adams, which we're probably going to end up doing. Uh, but we could
17:45have also, if Adams wasn't there, gotten parded, like I had said before, if you get parded in this round seven range,
17:51well, that's amazing as well. Um, at quarterback, it's going to start falling off soon, but people are also going to let these
17:59quarterbacks slip a little bit. I'll also note if we needed to take Brassette late, if we needed to take Tua late, who
18:05I think could probably be the starter for Atlanta to start the season, that would be fine. and it could kind of get
18:09us through the early part of the season.
18:11I think that would be okay. I really would like to get one of Darnold, Ward, or Mendoza. Some people like Rogers. I
18:20just don't love it. Um, I would like to get one of those three. I don't think I would take them over Adams or Tony Pard
18:29at this spot. And I think I would just go Adams just because we for Well, actually, let's see for a second what these teams have drafted.
18:39Stephen, I was hoping one of these teams it was going to be clear they weren't going to take Tony Pard, but both of the
18:44teams after us have two running backs, two wide receivers, uh, and two quarterbacks. So, they could truly just take anything.
18:53I get it. If you want to take Pard, I think personally because we waited until round five to take wide receiver, even
18:58though we still have great ones like T.
18:59Higgins, Evans, and Adams. We have three wide receivers that all have 10 plus touchdowns and we took them in five through seven. I just think because we
19:07waited a while, we kind of have to take Adams here. So, we'll take Adams. Uh, and we will see what happens.
19:14Oh, this is a great build. Okay, so we're going to get Tony Pard. So, they go uh Tucker Craft, Jaylen Warren, Sam
19:21Leaporta, and Carnell Tate, which means we can just grab Tony Pard. It might mean that we don't get that third quarterback that we want, but it means
19:29that we have three locked in running backs and receivers. Haven't taken two quarterbacks early. I think you'd have to just kind of do that. So, unfortunate
19:36if All right, some of the quarterbacks don't go. That's good. So, we need to take them now obviously because teams will start grabbing that third
19:42quarterback at this point. Um, but no quarterbacks go after this. So, they're starting to grab tight ends. KD goes, Kelsey goes, Fannon goes, uh, a few
19:51running backs go. Uh, Chuba, Harvey, Stevenson, and Waddle, and then a bunch of wide receivers off the board. I love our build so far. So, Jaden Daniels,
20:00Bonix at quarterback and superflex. Uh, Jonathan Taylor, Chase Brown, Anton Tony Paul at running back, and then T.
20:07Higgins, Mike Evans, and Zvand Adams at wide receiver. Um, we would probably fade quarterback and then definitely just take whichever one
20:18we want in the next round.
20:21At running back, like Manunga is solid, uh, Brooks is solid, Gainwell's solid, Dobbins is solid, Cororm is fine, but I think Cororm kind of represents a second
20:31kind of range here at running back. At wide receiver, Judkins definitely a good pick. Um, everyone else is fine. I don't know that
20:41anyone else really stands out that much.
20:43Um, hits is theoretically a value here, but I would just wait, especially in superflex. Like tight end is so devalued that I would just wait and kind of like
20:51double dip late or something like that.
20:53Um, yeah, I wouldn't go tight end. I don't think I would go wide receiver.
21:02I actually for this I would probably just grab the quarterback you want. If you had a lean on which quarterback you
21:07wanted here, I would probably just grab them because you know you're going to get like these running backs are not separated by that many points. Um,
21:15if you basically if you had a take between the running back and the quarterback, how about that? If you were like Manunga is clearly the best here or
21:21Brooks or Gainwell or Dobbins, if one is clearly best, go that and then go quarterback. If you felt that way for
21:27quarterback, do that and then go running back. Um, personally, I feel like I would probably just go Darnold. I probably just feel the best
21:38about him. Um, Mendoza, I don't know if he's going to play a full season. I think he's going to play most of the
21:43year, but I don't know if he's going to start the year. They might start with Kirk Cousins and then go to Mendoza. Um,
21:48Cam Ward might take that jump, but we don't know. Sam Darnold had a really good season last year. uh the ground
21:54game is going to be worse and so they're probably going to be throwing the ball at a higher rate uh if the offense
21:59regresses as well. Maybe they have to play from behind a little bit more. Um just a good pick. Like he's just like a solid
22:06pick as that third quarterback. So I would take him. Um I would go to running back and take your top running back. For
22:12me it is Gainwell, but again whichever one you wanted from that grouping. And this is a good start. Uh okay, go back
22:20here. I did mention I was going to talk about different strategies. So, um, why I said it can be harder in superflex
22:28with a late first round pick is because if Jaden isn't there, you just have a tougher decision to make. McAffrey is
22:34awesome, Jonathan Taylor's awesome, Ammon is awesome. It's pretty difficult trying to figure out, do you want to go one of them or do you want to take
22:43quarterback? Again, I do think kind of how drafts work out, if you have this late first round pick, you're going to get like people
22:52typically aren't going to double dip a quarterback here, you're probably going to get whether you went JT McAffrey, Almanov first, or you went Daniels Herz
22:59or Caleb first, whatever happens, you're probably just getting one of the quarterback and one of the skilled players. just you open up a little bit
23:05more risk that if someone does go double quarterback like what if you know this team drafts double quarterback uh we take McAffrey and then all of a sudden
23:13looking at Herbert I think you're probably still fine taking Herbert in that second spot but you're almost forcing having to do that because if you
23:20don't and your top quarterback is Bonex and then your second quarterback is Sam Darnold you're really falling behind in superflex so it opens up more of that
23:27risk um whereas in the middle of the first personally again if it's not Gibbs or Bejian I would probably just take the
23:33quarterback and figure things out after that because you're still gonna get great skill players after that. And then if you're in the early first, you're
23:39definitely either getting Josh Allen, Gibbs, or Bejon. So, it's just a little bit easier basically one through honestly seven this year. Just take
23:50Gibbs, Bejon, or the top quarterback.
23:52It's really not that difficult. Um, more of a decision to make as you get into the late first. But again, either take
23:58that skilled player and then go quarterback or quarterback then the skilled player and then play things basically how we did. Um I'll say for
24:04Brock Bowers, I'm less inclined to go with Bowowers in a superflex format because tight end is devalued a little bit. Um we want that stronger
24:12quarterback. If we don't have quarterback, we want that stronger running back. Not as much tight end. So Bowowers, Loveland, I love them this
24:19season. They are mustdraft players. Not as much in Superflex. They get pushed down a little bit more. I'm much more likely, very likely to just draft uh
24:28tight end late. Uh and we're still not even really at the range where I need to go tight end. Obviously, Ferguson,
24:35Garter are great. Um but Andrews has upside, likely has upside. Gadston has upside. Uh even if you went a little bit
24:41later, there are options for you.
24:44They're much worse options, but um I just don't think we need to here because these teams already have a tight end and
24:51much less likely teams drafted like if they went mid-round tight end, much less likely in Superflex they draft that second one because everyone knows they
24:57need that quarterback. They need, you know, extra skill players to fill the position. So, I think we can wait um definitely wait until the next turn at
25:04least. Um Meyers is a solid pick here.
25:07Um I don't know that any of these wide receivers really stand out. Um, definitely don't need to go running back here. It's Katon Mitchell as my
25:15favorite. I like Pacheco. Uh, but we don't we don't need to be touching these running backs. Um, and we already have
25:21the three, so I guess I guess we just take the value on Jacobe Myers. Um, would have liked to have gotten Jordan
25:28Mason. He went right before us. Um, yeah, I think you just take Myers. I think Dobs is also fine if you want to
25:35bet on Jaden Higgins kind of breaking out. Uh, Coker is fine. Shahit is fine.
25:39I mean, it's just in reddraft leagues, I don't know how often we'll be playing really any of these guys. Um, yeah, honestly,
25:48I think you take Myers. I think you take tight end. And then, uh, we honestly need to figure out how many rounds there
25:55are in this draft because it feels like uh I definitely messed up. One, two, three, four. It says there's five rounds
26:01left. One, two. Yeah, so I messed up with the Superflex spot. Just pretend this one bench spot is the Superflex spot. Um, had we actually had the six
26:08bench spots, I would probably go wide receiver, tight end, running back, and then finish off uh some of the other spots. Was that even
26:19enough? I don't know. But basically, I would add in a running back as well if I had an extra bench spot. Um,
26:25but right now, I'll just go Meyers. I'll take um honestly I don't know between Ferguson, Dallas right now. I think there's merit to both of them, but I
26:32think Ferguson's set up I mean both are set up for a great season. So, awesome value here getting them in round 12.
26:37I'll just take uh Ferguson here. Um but again, you could flip-flop into Dallas Goddard as well. Um we would have had two. That's what it
26:47is. We would have had two extra bench spots um had we added in that superflex spot where maybe I would have drafted
26:55Dallas Carter. I don't know. I mean, I would probably just take Katon Mitchell though.
26:59I always take Katon and then we'll just finish off uh defense and kicker. Uh I've had people ask me about um I
27:07actually had a question recently about defense in a um a league that has two points for sacks. I still just think
27:17defense you got to be waiting till the end because really it's like you say, "Oh, okay, but sacks more important so
27:21the defense scores more points. These top end defenses are great." Yeah. Um but there's multiple amazing defenses this season. The Rams are awesome. The
27:28Eagles are awesome. Um, Texans are awesome. The Vikings are probably going to be really good. Like, there are really good defenses. And then when you
27:36stream, if you just go up against really bad quarterbacks, you're going to generate those sacks anyway. So, you can still score more points streaming. So,
27:43you don't need the top end um defenses.
27:46That being said, uh we are in the second to last round here. It's when I would take uh defense. And uh looking like
27:51some really strong opening matchups for the Eagles, who are also one of the best defenses. So, obviously, they're a very good pick. Uh, so we'll take them. Um,
27:59literally just draft a kicker on an offense you think is going to score points and an offense uh maybe that won't go for it as aggressively on
28:08fourth down. Um, that being said, I mean, we do have two teams at the top here that are going to go for fourth
28:13down. Um, but it's a reason sometimes it's been like the Eagles in recent years, it's been like they're they're annoyingly like go for and fourth down a
28:22lot. Um, Detroit will do that as well, but Detroit also is going to score so many points this season that that's me
28:27positive, but it can be frustrating from that perspective. Uh, you get Will Lutz in Denver, right? Denver, you get the the long kicks. Uh, and I think they're
28:34a little bit less likely. But just take one on a good good offense. San Fran, Detroit, Denver, Minnesota, the Rams.
28:41That's why these guys are the r top ranked uh kickers because they're on good teams. Uh, and just figure out who
28:46kind of gets hot in season. But I don't know. I mean, and there's no risk of stacking really. I mean, it's
28:52technically there because of the code, but um there's no risk in stacking Panera with with Evan. So, we'll just go with our top top guy. Um
29:03I feel like I also need to look into a little bit um how the grade is happening. I think the grades are fine,
29:10but I'll look into a little bit um I'll look into a little bit how it's working uh for Superflex Draft if it's like
29:17grading them out accurately. Okay, so that's the squad. That is a superflex squad for us right now. Um, I think the
29:25team turned out pretty good. You know, um, we got the three quarterbacks that we wanted. You have Jane Daniels, you have Bicks, you have Sam Darnold. Um,
29:33and then we had the early running back and kind of that mid-range running back as well, JT, Chase Brown, Antony Pard.
29:39We still are totally fine wide receiver, T. Evans, Adams. Uh, and then we kind of filled out the bench from there. So, uh,
29:46that's the Superflex one. And now we'll start off with the uh second uh regular draft. Okay, time for the second one. Uh
29:54also, I just realized my camera went away during that draft. I don't know when that happened, but apologies for that. But most you probably skipped to
30:01this part. Anyways, uh we are going to do this week uh full PPR. We just did uh a late to mid, so let's just do uh two.
30:12I don't know. We'll do something early.
30:13Um and we'll do a 10 team league in this one. So, full PPR, 10 team league, second pick, composite, uh, nons
30:20superflex here, and regular formats there. All right, here we go. Uh, we'll start fresh. All right, what do we got in this one? So, again, we don't really
30:31need to talk about this too much. Um, I would just go uh this season, Gibbs, Bejon, Chase, Puka. That's how I would play it
30:42in a lot of drafts. Um, in full PPR, you can see a case for putting Jamar Chase higher. I'm totally fine. Genuinely,
30:50like, I'm totally fine taking Jamar Chase as early as you want. He has the upside to have 130 receptions and 1,800 yards and 15 17
30:59touchdowns. Like, he can absolutely dominate at wide receiver. Just personally, Gibbs, Bejian, Chase, Gibbs, Bejan, Chase, Hookah. That's how I would
31:08play things this season. Uh, we see a very running backheavy start. We can't really capitalize on that because then they just take all the wide receivers.
31:15So, doesn't really benefit us. Uh, but we see Gibbs, Bejian, McCaffrey, JT, Gentia, James Cook one through six. Uh, we see Achan, Barkley, and Chase Brown
31:26go in the late first into the second round. And then we see a bunch of wide receivers unfortunately go after that.
31:32So, for us, Hampton, Ken Walker, um, those are the only two like second round picks. I think Bruce Hall and Love are
31:41more so third rounders for us. Um, definitely these are third round wide receivers, so I'm not taking any of them. We don't take quarterback in round
31:48two. And then Bowowers is an option for us. I just did a draft last week with Bowowers, though, so I would lean away
31:55from doing that. Uh, so let's do a nice start here of Bejon and Hampton. Uh, I've talked negatively at times. I don't
32:02even want to say negatively about Amarin Hampton because he's awesome. Um, the only question I have at times with Hampton is uh, will they use Katon
32:13Mitchell more? But at the end of the day, I don't want that to be uh, I basically said I don't like him in the
32:18early second round where he goes a lot of time. We're in the late second round at that pick. Um, I don't want that to
32:22be a reason people to fade him. Like I love the Chargers this season. They're going to be so much better than they
32:28were last year. They're going to score a ton of points. And if that happens, even if Kat Mitchell is eating into his
32:33workload, Hampton's gonna have a very good season. And then if you know we're wrong and Katon Mitchell uh ends up not
32:39eating into it, Ham's gonna be great. So I think he's still going to have a very good season. Uh it's just that like I
32:44said in the video, I would take Squan. I would take Chase Brown over him. Uh but we're going to have the option for a
32:52pretty unique start here. So um top wide receivers, Don Smith, Rasheed Rice, Neighbors, all fine. Um, but personally,
33:03if this was my league, I'd probably just triple dip running back. I would just say I'm going to grab Bejon, Hampton,
33:08and Ken Walker. I have three running backs that all are locked in on good offenses, great roles, huge upside this season. I will forgo that mid-range of
33:19running back. Uh, and I would just take a bunch of wide receivers at those picks. um merit to taking Josh Allen and
33:26more merit in um a smaller league like this, but I love this mid-range of quarterback as well. So, I would probably just go there. Um
33:36if I was going wide receiver, I would take Chris Olive. I don't like McBride uh this early, so I wouldn't go there.
33:42Um I would love Lovelind in like the fourth round. Uh but we'll see. Probably won't last that long. Um but yeah, this
33:49would be the decision. And I just I again I don't think I would go with Josh Allen just because that mid-range
33:56quarter quarterback is so good that I'm kind of locking out any sort of option for getting good value on those guys. So
34:02I think I would just do it and I'm kind of interested to see how the team works out if we do it. So let's just take Ken
34:08Walker. He's a second auto talent. We're getting him in round three and let's see what happens here. All right, pull up
34:14the draft board. We go Ken Walker.
34:16Henry, Love, Bree, Kairen, and Scaboo.
34:19Uh we see uh Trey McBride off the board, Cole Lovelin off the board, unfortunately Josh Allen off the board, and then a pretty big chunk of wide
34:26receivers go. So we cannot go after running back right now. Obviously D is telling us please do not do that. Uh
34:31Bejan Hampton and Ken Walker. Um if we had running back, decent options still available to us. Uh but at wide receiver, we also have some very very
34:40good picks. Um definitely here you can build kind of a a later super team. So, if we go with like Malik Neighbors and
34:48then we're going to get another very good wide receiver after this. Malik Neighbors could start the season unhealthy. He could start the season
34:53slow, but like when he comes back and in the later portion of the season when he's like a wide receiver one, if we
34:59could pair him with three running back ones, we've created a pretty unique upside to this roster. So, definitely like going with him. Don't think you
35:07have to go quarterback and four. Think you wait until round five to attack that. There just so many decent ones left and we would not be touching a
35:14tight end this early. So, it's it's Neighbors.
35:18Take Neighbors. Grab another sick wide receiver. We'll take a Mecha Igbuka at this next pick. And this is just a very
35:26very strong start. Uh we've got Bejon, Hampton, Ken Walker. We've got Neighbors and Igbuka. Once we have Neighbors back healthy, my goodness, the upside of this
35:36roster is insane. Looks like we have very unfortunate thing happened to us at quarterback though. So May Daniels, Herz, Lamar, Caleb, and Burrow go with
35:45Caleb Burrow going right before us. So that kind of stinks. Um, all but one team have quarterback. I bet you they're going to draft Justin
35:55Herbert, unfortunately. Or this guy's going to draft Herbert. Um, so we might have to go Herbert in seven because I honestly am starting to view Herbert at
36:03the end of this tier. Um, I think I'm f I'm fine going Hampton Herbert though if you're also just making a bet on the Chargers being
36:12really good. Um, options. Judkins, good pick, but this is full PPR. So, like you can see ADP at
36:2051, my ranking at 61. Um, I'm a little bit back on Judkins in in full PPR, too. And I have concerns about
36:29Bucky. I have concerns about I like Polar, but also not as good in full PPR.
36:33You know, that's why again taking these three running backs to start here. I start to have concerns about like all these guys, uh, not too many concerns
36:41about a lot of these wide receivers. So, I would probably just go Evans then Herbert, assuming Herbert is
36:51available to us at the next one.
36:54Yeah, because you have Evans kind of a tier above all these guys.
36:58All right, good. So, Dak and Bucky go.
37:01So, we'll end up going Justin Herbert.
37:03Okay, I like this start. Again, projections for me have not put Justin Herbert yet into that tier uh right there. And I
37:14don't love having gotten him right after that tier. Like Burrow a couple picks before would have been great. But man, if the Chargers have the season I think
37:21they're going to have, you're not going to care. Like, you're truly just not going to care that uh you got Justin
37:27Herbert a little bit later. He might outscore a lot of these guys. I think they're just going to have an exceptional season. And so we've got
37:32Herbert at quarterback, Bejon and Hampton running back one corner and running back two neighbors Ibuka wide receivers one and two. And to start the
37:39year we can have Evans and Ibuka. That's totally fine. Again, not on the same team anymore. We got San Fran and for
37:44Mike Evans. Uh and then the flex spot will be between Ken Walker and Neighbors obviously to start the year. Uh we would
37:50have Ken Walker in that spot. So very very strong start. Um we're going to wait for tight end still. We're probably
37:56going to target that general range of like um I mean I I like KD, but we don't need to go KD now. Like I like KD, uh
38:03Ferguson, Goddard. Likely I'd like to get one of those guys.
38:09All right, wide receiver. Brian Thomas stands out for some upside. Uh Parker Washington as well. Basically, who's going to be the guy there? Um Sutton for
38:18safety, Metaf for safety, Quinton Johnson, but that would be a third. I don't want to do a third Charger on this
38:23team. Uh Tony Pard is still there. Took him in the last one. Probably would just go with him. Probably would just go with
38:30him. That's your fourth. Uh don't need to touch it. I'd be fine going Gainwell or Brooks or Dobbins. Again, a lot of
38:37the similar players we talked about in the last draft. Uh yeah, I would just go Pard. I would go Pard and then I would
38:45go Brian Thomas Jr. and just build this thing out pretty evenly.
38:51So we've got four running backs. So, we've got four receivers. We feel good about our running backs. Um, we've got the upside of these wide receivers. We
38:58filled out quarterback. Um, it looks like after we kind of had that turn that only KD has gone at tight end. I would
39:05imagine teams start to do that second tight end in like this 1213 range. So, maybe an 11 we go there. Uh, but we'll
39:14see what's kind of available at the skilled players. Um, don't like it. So Mason is more of just a half PPR play for me. Don't like any
39:24of this. We could handcuff Katon later, but I would not I would not take any of these running backs for sure. Again, I
39:30don't really want to take Quinton to draft that like third charger. Feels a little bit too risky. Um so maybe we
39:37just go Ferguson because I don't like obviously we're not going with the backup quarterback. We have Justin Herbert. I don't think we
39:45need any of these receivers. We're probably not going to play them. We already have four really strong wide receivers.
39:50Yeah, let's just make sure we get a title we like. Go Ferguson there. Um
39:59Quentyn Pierce will go.
40:02That's actually a relatively tough call.
40:07I just don't think you go running back.
40:08We have three picks left. I can go running back super late. These guys are not full PPR options. Like literally none of these guys are are options I'm
40:15going to be playing in full PPR. So you might as well just go with your favorite wide receiver.
40:23Yeah, I guess we'll just go Jane Reed. Um I would probably double dip at tight end in a build like this. Um didn't want to
40:34double dip as much in superflex in the last draft we did just because it's superflex. I'm not going to be starting
40:40that second guy. Um, but take two shots at tight end in a league this thin. Um, make sure we hit on one of them. I'm
40:47just not I know Kelsey projected top there. Just not a Kelsey guy this season. Uh, we can handcuff with Katon Mitchell. And I'll go over these picks
40:55in a second. Handcuff with Katon Mitchell. Uh, draft a defense has a good early season schedule. Someone asked me about that as well in a video recently.
41:04Um, I wasn't looking at week one. They asked me like why I was doing that.
41:09Basically, why not just draft a good defense to stream all season? Unless you end up with like a top five defense,
41:14you're better off streaming. And so, I want to just look at the early season schedule of a lot of these defenses and
41:19just take a solid defense uh with a good first week. So, it looks like uh the Steelers have a good first week.
41:27Jaguars look decent. We'll go Steelers in this one. Um and then I'll do kicker after. We kind of look at the team here.
41:34Okay. So thought process after we kind of got through this like mid-range where we were kind of looking at our bench. I
41:42don't think in a 10 team league like look at our running backs Bejon Hampton Ken Walker Pard. We're not going to be
41:49starting any of these handcuffs anyways.
41:50The odds that early season these handcuffs break out are minimal. So grab one of my handcuffs and then do other things with these late picks. Ferguson
41:58could theoretically not work out, but I really don't think both Ferguson and Dallas cut are going to bust this season. So, draft both of them.
42:03Whichever one is getting more usage early in the season or has better matchups, dome games, things like that, higher total, team total, go with them.
42:10Um, so double dipping there. And then wide receiver, just because I mean we didn't draft one until round four and Neighbors might not start the season
42:17healthy, you know, we might only have Ibuka, Evans, and Brian Thomas. What if Brian Thomas' roles in their start season? So, just grabbing that extra
42:23wide receiver makes sense for our build.
42:25I don't think if you draft Herbert and earlier at quarterback, you need to draft a second one. especially in the 10
42:30team league, there will be plenty of options to stream. Uh, but I wanted to kind of grab that second shot at tight
42:36end to figure that out. Uh, and that's basically just a thought process for the bench here again to be drafting some
42:42like a Chris Rodriguez in a 10 team league. I mean, sure, in a 16 team half PPR league maybe provides you some sort
42:48of value, but in what world is Chris Rodriguez starting over Bejon, Hampton, Ken Walker, and Tony Pard when I only technically need to start two of those
42:55four and really five if you add in uh Chris Rodriguez. it just doesn't make sense unless you're drafting a handcuff for your own team. You just don't need
43:03to be doing it. It's kind of clogging your roster. Um, you want to draft guys who could break out early in the season
43:08and like the odds that you happen to pick the one running back backup where the starter goes down is minimal. So, we
43:16could have drafted Brian Robinson. Um, not really in Kansas City. There's no real backup. Could have drafted Spears the backup, but I would just draft like
43:23one handcuff, call it a day. Um, I guess Tony Paul was on the bench for us, but like the deep bench spots, I really just
43:29wouldn't be drafting backup running backs. Lock it up early. Grab your receivers middle. Grab this middle range of quarterback. Don't grab a second one
43:37late. Double dip a tight end if we didn't take one super early. And then defense and kicker in the last round. A
43:43very good general strategy for the season. You're going to end up with a pretty rock solid uh team if you do
43:49that. Okay. Uh, I'll draft New England kicker. And that is the end of this draft. So, we get number one. We're in
43:56the 90th percentile for this draft.
43:58Again, uh I need to figure out if uh the drafts were grading properly in Superflex. But there's the team. Uh let
44:06me know how you think of both of the teams we did in the comment section down below. A little bit faster in the second
44:10draft. If you want more player takes uh and you skipped over the first Superflex one, go back and watch that one. But
44:16that'll be this one. Thank you all for watching. Please leave a like if you are still here. Please subscribe to the
44:21channel if you are new. I'll catch you all on the next one.
