0:00What's going on guys? It's Nick here, back with another video. 10-team full PPR from pick five. Uh we use composite ADP plus live ADP. I'm also going to do
0:08uh no kicker in this one and we're going to add in a second flex spot. We've been doing half PPR, one flex spot, a very
0:14traditional format. Uh kind of wanted to change things up in this one. So, beginning of the draft uh starts off like I think a lot are going to. You've
0:23got Bijan and Gibbs always going to go one-two. Then um basically the three pick could be a little tough sometimes because you could
0:30argue Chase at three, Puka at three. You could argue running back is so important this season to lock them up early and
0:39you can hit wide receiver in the middle rounds. You could argue for Jonathan Taylor. You could argue for Christian McCaffrey. I don't think there's an
0:46argument for like Cook or Jeudy or Raichand at three. Um but there's a lot of picks here that are pretty much the
0:51same. Like I would say that uh Gibbs and and Bijan are kind of in like a tier of their own. And then truly Chase, Puka,
0:59Jefferson, JT, and McCaffrey. And maybe if you want to throw Amon-Ra into that that mix as well. That's kind of like a
1:05big grouping there. So, it's a little bit tough, you know, kind of having that three pick. Uh but I say a little bit
1:09tough, but you could also just draft, you know, Puka Nacua or Ja'Marr Chase and they could have a monster season.
1:14But uh we see in this one Puka goes, JT goes. Uh even with, you know, the importance of running back. And in these
1:23mock drafts I do want to test things out, right? I don't want every single one of our mock drafts to be running
1:27back heavy build. Even though I want to be doing running back heavy this season, if I can get Ja'Marr Chase in the middle
1:33of the first round I mean, I don't think that's going to be a bad pick in any season. So, obviously he has the upside to um
1:43be the number one scorer by like an entire point per game. Uh he is on an offense we know is going to be good.
1:50They don't have changes in that offense.
1:52Like it's just I don't I probably shouldn't have to sell you on Ja'Marr Chase as a good pick. Uh but we will see what
1:58happens to our draft taking wide receiver early because again, I just want to be very clear.
2:02When we get into August, we're going to be hammering home the point that you want to be going running back heavy,
2:08especially if you think that you have an edge in your league, you think you're one of the better teams in your league.
2:15The only way you can kind of like, quote-unquote, mess up in a draft is you start attacking wide receiver and tight
2:21end quarterback really early and you think, oh, you know, I'll be able to get running back and you miss. Well, you
2:26know what? The hardest position to trade for is probably like elite quarterback, but the second hardest is elite running back. Like, no one's going to trade you,
2:32you know, a running back one in season.
2:34They're just not going to do that. And so, you can kind of dig yourself in a hole if you wait a little bit too long
2:39and you don't know what the value's going to be. So, it's going to be very important to just lock up good running
2:43backs early on. But, if you get this value like Jamar Chase, we got to look at teams that start off this way and see
2:49what we can do from there. So, you guys know what happened through my pick.
2:51After we go, we see five running backs off the board. That's McCaffrey, ETN, Cook, Barkley, and Jente. That is pretty much how things will go, but again, I do
3:00think running backs will shift up a little bit once we get closer to August.
3:05We see JSN, Amon-Ra St. Brown, CeeDee Lamb, and Justin Jefferson off the board. And then, Josh Allen goes to pick before us. I love Josh Allen. Um
3:13I think he's going to have a great season. I would not take him in round two. The opportunity cost is too high.
3:19So, um at quarterback, of course, we're not going to be going with this position.
3:23Historically, we see it in in this format. So, if you guys see it, you're like, oh, Nick, the numbers are different than last time. Remember, um
3:29the dynamic rankings on the website, they are specific. So, they're going to change whether you're in an eight, 10, 12, 14 team league. Uh they're going to
3:38change whether you're in half or full PPR, whether you have one flex spot or two flex spots. I have data from
3:44millions of drafts over the last decade.
3:47We can be specific and tell you exactly what positions are best to draft next in your exact format. So, of course, like
3:55you would probably think, uh running back gives you the biggest boost right now, but wide receiver is still strong.
3:59So, again, this is full PPR, you have two flex spots. Uh you have the ability here uh to go with a more aggressive
4:07wide receiver approach cuz you're getting more points at that position and you could start four of them each week.
4:12But again, the the lean here, teams still perform better if they start off evenly. But definitely not quarterback.
4:18Tight end, I would be fine.
4:22I also think like when you start to reduce the league size, you know, everyone gets better, right?
4:2810 team leagues, everyone's pretty good.
4:30Eight team leagues, everyone has a really good team. The one differentiator can really be tight end. There's a couple tight ends, Bowers, McBride,
4:38Loveland, that are set up extraordinarily well this season. And if you are in a smaller format like this, more and more teams have a good tight
4:46end, it's just like a way to kind of build an edge when again, everyone's going to have a solid team in a 10 team
4:50league. Um So, it's an option and I do like Bowers over McBride this season. Um I don't think I would do it if I start off wide
5:00receiver though.
5:01I think um again, you're just kind of foregoing running back one more. And especially here, like maybe if I had um
5:09Like I said, I probably wouldn't take a wide receiver there. But let's just pretend, you know, we were at closer to
5:13the turn and you're getting that running back in the next round. It's just that we're not, right? You bring up the the
5:18board, one, two, three, four, there's going to be eight picks that go by. If we were over here and I knew I was going
5:23to get a specific running back that's going to be really good in the next round, I'd maybe be more okay with it.
5:28We could easily see like eight running backs go off the board over the next eight picks and then I'm just I'm out of
5:33luck in the round three. So, I don't think I would do it unless I knew I was locking up another running back or I
5:37took a running back in round one. Uh so, no quarterback, no tight end for us.
5:42Wide receiver, you need to see an amazing value here. Like you probably would need to see, honestly, one of the ones that I'd gone, but I
5:49would really want like JSN, Amon-Ra, or Lamb, and it's not going to happen.
5:51Like, I really just don't think you should start off with two wide receiver builds uh this season. So, we look at
5:55running back. Um obviously, Hampton is very good pick, and I guys, I added uh the queue now to uh the mock draft system. So, you can now
6:03queue queue up your players. Um Chase Brown, great pick, uh but of course, we have the problem. I still need to fix
6:08that. I thought I did. I thought I made it go down, but I guess I didn't. Um great pick, but I wouldn't start off
6:13with two Bengals. So, if I hadn't taken Chase, if I had taken like Puka here, I think Chase Brown would be an awesome
6:19pick to make here. Uh the problem is just truly um if you start off with two Bengals, there's going to be a lot of
6:25weeks in the season where the Bengals just don't have that good of a game, whether it's a good defense, good weather, you're correlating your first
6:30two picks negatively. You don't want to do that. So, I wouldn't take Chase Brown. Um I don't think I would take uh
6:34Love or Ken Walker or Breece Hall um over Amari and Hampton. I have my concerns with Amari and Hampton. I still
6:41think that he's not like locked in in terms of having that elite role. I think they really like Keeton Mitchell, and I
6:48think that they're actually going to give him an okay role, but I also think the offense is going to be very good.
6:54There's going to be plenty of touchdowns. Obviously, Hampton is uh that goal line back. Obviously, he's also a very, very talented player. And
7:01so, uh I have no problems taking Amari and Hampton pretty much anywhere in round two. Like, truly even at the turn,
7:07the one-two turn, he's going to be awesome. So, take him. We almost get Drake London the next pick. Uh Chase Brown goes, we knew that was going to
7:13happen. Uh Derrick Henry and Geronimo Love also off the board. Both Bowers and McBride are gone. No new quarterback, but uh it's kind of a cliff after Allen.
7:21Not Not in terms of like the value there, but like you're really it's just Allen in that round like two-three range
7:26this season. You're waiting until at least round four if you're going to go for uh another quarterback. So, we're not going to go quarterback, and we're
7:32not going to go um uh Cole Kmet and Loveland is also kind of a wait until at least round four thing. So, again, no quarterback. Again,
7:40no tight end. Uh if you look up here, wide receiver is actually more valuable take right now than running back by a
7:45very small amount. Uh but the rankings will take that into account. Uh this is going to be an interesting one. So,
7:50right now, uh it's listed as a pretty good value cuz live ADP does have Neighbors at 18, we're at 25. I'm at 21,
7:58we're at 25. Uh I think in the next update I'm about to do, um I have written down on my phone like a a bunch
8:04of players that kind of want to adjust the value on a little bit. Neighbors is going to go down. So, if you're doing
8:07Underdog drafts, you're able to get him in like the low 30s. Um people are just a little bit concerned about the knee not being fully
8:14recovered, not knowing exactly what the timeline is. Uh that's obviously a concern. Listen, I think that's totally fine. Like if you
8:23want to take, you know, like Nico Collins is such a good pick that like sure, take Nico Collins over him. Uh if
8:28you want to take George Pickens, Chris Olave, maybe um DeVonta Smith. I think if Neighbors starts going into like round four,
8:40my goodness, round five, I don't care.
8:42At that point, start the season on the pup. I don't care. This is Malik Neighbors. If I have him in the fantasy
8:47playoffs, that's going to really benefit my team to an extreme degree. Uh and while maybe that's too much risk to take
8:54in round two, maybe at this point in round three, as soon as you hit round four, it just feels like I don't even
8:59care what the injury news is. He's going to be good in the second half of the season kind of regardless there. So,
9:05I still honestly would be fine taking him at 305, but because the value is dropping, I do want to kind of see where
9:10the ADP settles before um taking him again. Cuz if the ADP is going to keep cratering, uh right now on the website,
9:16uh over the last 7 weeks, that's what trend is over here, uh over the last 7 days, excuse me, um he is moving down,
9:22and I think he's going to continue kind of move down. So, uh again, Nico Collins would be the pick here if you want wide
9:26receiver, but I do feel like Ken Walker's a really good value here. Um Jacobs is awesome again. Um Breece Hall is awesome. Travis
9:35Etienne I really like. Um But as you guys know, again, like I've said, running back kind of falls off. Um I do think that they're going to run the
9:43ball decent amount this season and um while you know, it's not necessarily guaranteed that Kenneth Walker is a featured running back, he's going to be
9:51used a ton on the ground. He's going to get goal line opportunities. It's going to be a good offense. I just don't think
9:55they want to drop back a million times per game with um Holmes especially early in the season. Um they gave him a pretty
10:02good contract. He's a really good player. Like it's just a lot aligns towards like Kenneth Walker is a very good pick to
10:09make in round three here. So, I would take Kenneth Walker. So, we've got Marlon Humphrey, Kenneth Walker locking in at running back, uh and then we have
10:17Ja'Marr Chase at wide receiver. And again, two flex leagues. We can continue doing running back if we wanted to here, but we'll see. Uh after we goes a little
10:24bit of a run at wide receiver, and then it flips to run at running back. And so, we see George Pickens, Malik Nabers,
10:29Nico Collins, A.J. Brown, Chris Olave.
10:31Uh then Loveland comes off the board in round four. And then, the four picks before us are Breece Hall, Jacobs, Kyren
10:37Williams, and Javonte Williams.
10:40So, looking at the board here, um wide receiver is now the only positive position. It's barely negative for running back and tight end, so it's
10:49totally fine taking those two.
10:51Um but wide receiver plus 11%, that's a strong buy. The thing is, if I look at the running back position right now,
10:58like if I if I sort by just running back and look at my rankings, again, adjusting for value, so reducing by 1%
11:05of value uh of um Travis Etienne, he is still just like a really strong pick.
11:11Again, when I say adjusting for value, the rankings are dynamic here. So, um if you have access to the website and
11:19use it on the mock draft, it'll do it.
11:20If you don't have access to the website, obviously, you're just going to see ADP and it's going to be blocked out from
11:24rank. Um they're going to be dynamic based on this percentage. So, you don't want to double count it. You don't want
11:30to say, "Okay, wide receiver is great. I have to go wide receiver. Yes, it's optimal to do so, but I am taking it
11:36into account. The value has been adjusted up and the rank has accounted for that and yet still, even adjusting up for wide receiver, Travis Etienne is
11:47a great pick. I mean, we know he's going to have a strong role. We want shares of this offense. They're going to get a ton
11:53of dome games. They're playing in a division with bad defenses. They're going to probably run top five plays this season. They really want to ramp
12:00those plays up. Now, if they trust their quarterback play, um their defense is really bad and so, while that's not necessarily amazing for running backs
12:08because you don't want them losing, it's good in the sense that Travis Etienne can catch passes. He's not a prolific pass catcher, but he's capable of
12:17racking up three, four, five receptions in a game. I think there's going to be a lot of weeks where he has like, you
12:22know, three for 30 through the air, you know, 17 plus carries, goal line opportunities.
12:29There's a huge role here and the upside is that he is like a top 10 running back this season. And when you look after
12:35him, Trayvion is still probably going to split with Stevenson. Scatback, you don't know how healthy he's coming off the injury. Bucky Irving is probably in
12:43a split with Gainwell and then a trio maybe with Sean Tucker. Uh same thing Judkins, we don't know how healthy he's
12:49going to be. So, you start looking at the rest of running backs and the cliff is about to happen. If I look at wide
12:53receiver, uh again, I'm up uh there's going to be eight picks again that go by before me in the next one. If I just
12:59sort by wide receiver, look at these amazing options. DeVonta Smith, Garrett Wilson. I don't think I would go T.
13:07I'd be okay with Ladd, but he'd have to definitely be the best wide receiver on the board uh cuz again, I have Rondale
13:13Hampton. Um Egbuka, great pick though.
13:15Luther Burden, I'm not uh a huge Zay Flowers guy, but uh Luther Burden I think has ton of upside. Uh Terry
13:21McLaurin, like I'm going to get a wide receiver the next pick that is going to be good. I can't necessarily say that at
13:26running back. So, I think the play would be uh just go in and take I should add that in. So, the Q should
13:34delete these people cuz they've been drafted.
13:38Something to add. I mean, I can just clear the Q, but something I would add it. All right.
13:43But, taking Etienne there, I think it's a good move.
13:46This is a like slightly unfortunate. So, because we took Chase, but cuz we took Marvin Harrison, it does devalue Tee Higgins and Ladd, but they're both such
13:57amazing values in round five that you're like, "Dang, it's almost like I wish I'd gone kind of another player." Like if
14:03I'd gone Puka here, I could just slam dunk Tee Higgins into the wide receiver two spot and we're rolling, right? So,
14:11probably do have to take one of them.
14:14Honestly, I just don't think you can take Chase and Higgins. I truly don't think you could easily run into a game
14:19script where it just happens to be really windy, really cold, really good pass defense, and they just run the ball a lot more to down game.
14:28And if that happens three times in a season, I might lose all three of those games simply because of that.
14:34Less of a concern number one in Los Angeles, right? We have the LA Chargers here. They're going to have a lot better games in terms of weather.
14:43But then also it's running back and receiver. It's a little bit less risky if you run into a game where they get
14:47ahead, they don't need to throw it.
14:49Well, Marvin Harrison's probably going to crush. If you run into a game where they're playing from behind throwing it a ton, maybe Harrison does worse, but
14:54Ladd does better. So, they're a little bit more inverse correlated. They're still correlated, but it's less so Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase. So,
15:02I think Ladd would probably be the play.
15:05Um, I also just really like him this season.
15:08I think I'm going to do a video on Wednesday going over the offenses I want to be invested in. Um, and a spoiler for
15:15that video is the Chargers are going to be one of them. I just think um, you really want want investing in that
15:20offense this season. I think they're going to throw the ball at a really high rate. I think Justin Herbert is an
15:25exceptional quarterback. I think Ladd is awesome. And if they do go to more two tight end sets, you're just increasing the likely yards per route run for
15:35Ladd and then whoever wins the outside job, probably Quentin, but whoever wins that outside job with him or at least whoever's on the field more in that
15:41spot. I don't know. I I think he had a down year last year, but he's set up for a monster season right now. So, I think
15:46you would take him. If you look at tight end, you wouldn't be taking Fant in here. Um Lamar would be good. I mean
15:54Lamar, Caleb, Maye, Daniels, Hurts all great picks in this spot. I think the hope is basically wait till six.
16:03It's more on this one, so we have 10 picks that will go by >> [clears throat] >> excuse me for this and the next one.
16:08>> [cough] >> Oh, I need some water now.
16:11Okay. 10 picks for this and the next one.
16:13Eight of those picks have potential for quarterback. I highly doubt um this team ends up taking a second quarterback this early.
16:20So, with it being what? 1 2 3 4 5 quarterbacks I'd be okay with. Like I prefer Lamar, right?
16:28But I think Hill's going to have an awesome season. I think Maye's going to have an awesome season. Daniels. I feel
16:32less locked in about Jalen Hurts, but I would still take him in round six for that upside. Um because it's pretty likely one of them
16:40falls there. I would not take Lamar, but if you were a huge Lamar fan, like you'd be totally fine to take at this spot.
16:46Again, taking the fourth running back here, we are at -7 now for running back.
16:51Taking the fourth running back where I do see the drop off, I think these guys are just a little bit more expensive
16:56than they maybe should be. So, I back off. I'd say I've got three guys I think could all be top 10 running backs. Let's
17:01go in here. Let's take Ladd McConkey and let's take a wide receiver or a quarterback after that.
17:08So, after we go, we do actually see four of all the teams took a quarterback, which I genuinely think is going to happen this season.
17:14You're going to see this round five and six range. Everyone knows the quarterback's going to be there and we'll see what happens with ADP if
17:20people start taking them in four, but I think people are going to lock up the running backs in the first four rounds.
17:25We're going to get to five and everyone's going to be it's going to be like a game of chicken and as soon as
17:30one goes and then another goes, you're just going to see all of them drafted in a row. And I see this a lot in Underdog
17:35as well. You literally see it be like Lamar, Maye, Burrow, Daniels, Caleb. You just see boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
17:42You're sitting there like, "Oh my god.
17:44Like I just wanted one of them and four in a row get drafted right before me."
17:48Uh happened to me the other day with a stack. I had like a Joe Burrow stack. I was going to do a Bengals stack and they
17:53all just went in a row and then Burrow gets taken right before me. Like it's going to happen uh in this five-six
17:58range. Um but we kind of get the end of it. If we want to take Hurts here, I think you could maybe include Dart there and if
18:06you had a fully healthy uh Neighbors, you definitely would include him. Uh and you could maybe include Justin Herbert.
18:12This is one so this sort of correlation again when we see the shout-out here, you are stacking the Chargers offense.
18:18It is negative. If you wanted to do this from the standpoint of I'm investing in this offense, right? Um I like maybe I wouldn't take him here,
18:27maybe in round seven Herbert were there.
18:29You're like, "I want to you know, I think the Chargers are going to be amazing this season. I think they have a
18:33ton of good high upside games. I want to make a bet on the offense as a whole." I think going Herbert, Hampton, Ladd is
18:42aggressive and will lead to some negative performances, but if you're right and the offense really hits, I think you can still be a positive. I
18:49would still not do the like Chase and Higgins thing. Um Are there any other examples in like the early rounds of like two receivers? Like
18:58Lamb and Pickens, I don't know that that really necessarily like line up ADP-wise, but I probably would not do that. Um
19:05>> [clears throat] >> I don't know that there's really another one. I probably wouldn't do Puka and Adams, but it's far enough away where
19:11it's not the end of the world. I don't think I don't think I would do Bijan and Drake London only because you do have that
19:18risk of quarterback play. If the quarterback play is bad this season, um it can like really benefit or really hurt both of them to where
19:27like of course Herbert could get injured, but like we know Justin Herbert's going to be good. We don't know that like Penix or Tua are going to
19:34be good this season. So, it's just a little bit more risky in that aspect, but um again, we're not going to take
19:39Herbert here cuz I think we're going to end up taking Jalen Hurts, but that's kind of the summary on that one. Um if
19:43you wanted to take Swift price, I would say those two are pretty clearly the top options here. You could go with them.
19:50Um Wide receiver would still be a solid pick here. Uh if you wanted to go with Adams, I still feel like we're in a good
19:59enough range where I'm cool like if my third receiver is Evans, DJ Moore, Adunze, um Christian Watson, because Christian Watson you could deal with the
20:08the spike weeks a little bit more having him as your third receiver. Uh Carnell Tate, Tyson, I would probably stop there. Maybe Marvin Mims, too. But I
20:16would probably stop in this general range of like I'd want one of them, but we will get one of them in the next
20:21round uh whereas the quarterback drop-off is going to happen. So, I I do think I would just take uh Jalen Hurts
20:27at this pick and lock up that quarterback.
20:30Uh We'll see if I was right though. There there is a run at at wide receiver that happened. So, we go.
20:35Trevor Lawrence goes, another really good pick this season. Um but I think like Lawrence, Herbert, uh Dar I think the gap should be at least around uh
20:45between where you took Jalen Hurts and where they start to go. And I think they're going to be pushed up really
20:50close. So, I do still think like getting the end of this general tier here makes a lot of sense. Uh but he goes. Swift
20:56goes. And then Waddle, Adams, uh Watson, Evans, Moore, and Adunze all off the board.
21:04So, we go to wide receiver. Uh and actually we're in a pretty good spot because Jameson Williams uh that's a pretty good drop-off and Jamo's another
21:10player where it's like boy, it's tough to trust him. But, in a traditional format, two wide receivers, one flex, it's a little bit more difficult because
21:18maybe you have three good running backs, maybe you have two solid wide receivers, and you're like, "Man, like Jamo can get, you know, four for 110 and two
21:24every time he steps onto the field, but he can also get one for 20." And so, it's frustrating to put him in the wide
21:28receiver two when you you still need pretty good production from two. Uh if I put him in the second flex spot,
21:34it's totally fine. If he goes out there and he's one for 20, it hurts, but it doesn't hurt as much. You can deal with
21:39a little bit more of that variance at your third wide receiver spot in that second flex spot, um you can deal with
21:45it more because if you get a spiked week from your second flex spot, you're sitting pretty good. So, I think he's a
21:50great pick there, but Carnell Tate's also very good pick. Um Jordan Addison also good pick. Uh a little bit again correlation on the Saints, but they're
21:57another team I really want to be investing in this season. Uh and we're in the range of tight end where I
22:01wouldn't really want to do it, and obviously we're not taking a second quarterback. So, I think pretty clearly here, um you could do Price and take
22:08that fourth running back, but I think in full PPR, uh I have some concerns that Price is not necessarily going to be uh that high-end
22:17of a pass-catcher.
22:19Okay.
22:20We go.
22:21Marv, Tate, Tyson off the board. Uh we see Chuba Hubbard, uh Bechtold, and Price go. And then we see a run at tight
22:28end right before our pick. Pitts, Fannin, Kraft, and LaPorta all off the board. Um that's totally fine because
22:37again, if I don't lock up one of Bowers, McBride, Loveland, or Warren this season, I am probably just double
22:46dipping. And my real want is Bowers.
22:50I'll take I'll take McBride around three if he falls. Um like middle round three would be more ideal. Um I will take Loveland
22:56if he's available at a good spot in round four. And I'll take Warren if in round around five or six, he becomes the
23:01best player on my board.
23:03But after that, I want to just wait I want to maybe double dip late. I want to maybe just take one late. Um I don't
23:09want to be attacking this mid-range at tight end historically. It's just not an optimal thing to be doing.
23:15So no quarterback, no tight end for me.
23:16Um at running back So basically we're going to have 1 2 3 4 5 6. So I
23:28put six bench spots in here.
23:30Um we already have three running backs.
23:32I'm thinking I'm probably still going to have at least two, maybe three more running backs. So we can take a running
23:38back at this spot. Um again, if we look at the top here for the dynamic rankings, it's plus 1%, so it's still
23:43fine. Wide receiver is a little bit better off. Um I like Stevenson.
23:49I like Pollard.
23:51Um I'm not in love with Warren.
23:55I'm not in love with Harvey this season, unfortunately. I know. Uh but not in love with him this season.
24:00I think Mond guys totally fine here.
24:02Um and I like Gainwell, especially the value you can get on him ADP-wise.
24:07The cliff is going to happen soon. If we get to the next round and this whole kind of range is gone and we're looking
24:13at like, you know, Dobbins, Rodriguez, Mason it's not good. Like it's not great. So I kind of want to lock up that third
24:23running back and like Stevenson, I just know is going to be pretty involved on a pretty good offense. Uh Tony Pollard in
24:29an ascending offense, probably going to step right into his role he had last season. So I feel like I'm just locking
24:35up a lot of touches with these two, which feels pretty good. Um wide receiver Like it it's similar, I would say,
24:45because it is still a drop-off. Like of course I think London's got a lot of upside. I think Alec Pierce has a lot of upside
24:51this season. Um I think Rondale Thomas is more someone I'd take on Underdog because he's probably going to be a very
24:56highly variant player. Um we do start getting into after that though. It's like Reed, Godwin, excuse me. Uh
25:05Josh um Josh Downs.
25:09Good picks, but not necessarily guys who have like an immense ceiling and we did sort of running back a little bit
25:13earlier on. Um having said that, I think the very very back half of wide receiver is just so much stronger.
25:20Concepcion I like. Coker I like. Travis Hunter I like. Um I'll take a shot on Omar Cooper or Jauan Jennings the
25:26contingent upside. Uh Jalen Nailor you can take a shot on. Trey Tucker you can take a shot on. Stribling you can take a
25:31shot on. So, like these guys are all available at the very end of the draft.
25:34Running back is absolutely disgusting.
25:36If I scroll down to the same range of running back, it's literally like Charbonnet who's not going to play half the season. Uh Pacheco, no, I don't
25:43really want to be doing that. Ke'Shawn Mitchell, sure, I can handcuff Hampton with that. Uh Jonathan Coleman, but he probably won't have any role to start
25:49the season. It's like it's really really gross. So, I think the optimal move is take another running back now, probably means we only need to take one more, and
25:57we don't need to overspend on some terrible running backs. Lock up a few more wide receivers. Uh maybe double dip at tight end, uh and then call it a day.
26:05I think that's uh probably the move we want to make here. I really like Pollard, but I do think Stevenson's still the better pick between the two of
26:12them. Uh but that might be one I have to do in a breakdown video.
26:17Okay. We go. We take Stevenson. Um running back Pollard and Harvey go off the board. We see Herbert and Jackson Darko, Kelce go, and then it's Sutton
26:25and Metcalf. So, I do think we're going to take wide receiver here. Um we still have Alec Pierce on the board
26:31for us. Um and I like Alec Pierce because we don't know, right? He has this insane efficiency and like every catch seems to
26:41be a 50-yard touchdown in the preseason, but they let Pittman go. They don't really bring anyone else in.
26:48Odds are they also kind of go towards the shift of more 12 personnel uh just because they don't really have um that
26:54many like great receivers. It's probably going to be Pierce and Downs and two wide receiver sets.
26:59Um They're locked in on him. They gave him a monster contract and they have him as their fourth wide receiver. If they
27:05actually wanted to give him like eight or nine targets a game, he would crush it in fantasy. So, I think you just take him.
27:14Um If you weren't taking him, it would probably be Warren, but I don't necessarily think I need to go there.
27:18So, let's take Alec Pierce.
27:21We'll see what's available at our next pick.
27:24Um again the team for those of you listening and have lost track of who we have. At running back, we have Hampton,
27:30Ken Walker, Etienne, and Rhamondre Stevenson. At wide receiver, we have Ja'Marr Chase, Zay Flowers, Quentin Johnston, Jameson Williams, and Alec Pierce. And then we have Jalen Hurts at
27:38quarterback.
27:39We've got 1 2 3 4 5 6 picks left in total. I do think two of them are going to be tight end, so four picks that are
27:47not tight end. One's going to be a defense, so three picks left. Uh I think we go two wide receivers and one running
27:54back. And we might just do that in a row cuz like there's some decent late tight ends. Um Maybe not though cuz Kittle's also great
28:04pick. So, Kittle would be great in a build like this because we've waited and we're going to take two. So, if we take Kittle and then we take
28:11someone like Isaiah Likely or I don't really I'd be fine going Godson, but it would be would that be our our third again?
28:19Chargers skill player. I don't necessarily want to do that. Okay, Andrews. You could go Kittle and Andrews, start Andrews to start the
28:25season. When Kittle comes back, you're getting really good value on that return. But even if you didn't get Andrews, I don't know that you'd want to draft
28:31Hayden because he'd be a rookie. But maybe like Hunter Henry, maybe just like a an older tight end that has a role. Even like Ferguson or
28:40Kincaid if they were there after. But Kittle's a good pick.
28:45Honestly, Addison and Myers and Godwin and Downs and Quentin Johnston picks here. So, maybe one of them is left at our next pick and we can go Kittle, one
28:54of those wide receivers, and then running back.
28:57Um Yeah, cuz I I I like Rico, I like Roschon White, but I also think that like we could go Chris Rodriguez, we
29:05could go Jonathan Brooks, and they'll probably be there at our next pick. So, let's do that. Let's go.
29:12Yeah, and this is also why I benefit.
29:13So, composite ADP if you look at websites is 107. If you look at where people are like actually drafting Kittle, it's
29:22earlier than that. So, we're getting a good value by the actual uh live ADPs.
29:28All right, let's take Kittle.
29:29Let's hope one of those wide receivers is there.
29:32They will be. I can pull up the board here. Uh so, we take Kittle, um Addison, Myers, Godwin do go. So, the ones we
29:40wanted to come off the board. Uh Dak Prescott is gone, Brooks, Rico, uh Jordan Mason and Quentin Johnston are gone.
29:49Unfortunately, I don't have the the thing on there. I don't know I was kind of like thinking about that. Um so, I took off the
29:57warning if it's two bench players. So, basically saying, "Hey, you've got two players on the same team.
30:04There's a little bit of risk here." But, I don't have that on there if one of them's not the starter. So, it it's like
30:08Downs doesn't get the the icon because Pierce and Downs are both on the bench and it's just less risky doing that. But, I still would shy away
30:16from having Pierce and Downs on a team.
30:19Unfortunately, uh the other option I want, Quentin Johnston, I probably wouldn't take Quentin Johnston and Ladd in the same team either. It's you're
30:26just kind of capping what can happen there. So, definitely unfortunate that Addison, Myers, and Godwin were the ones gotten taken cuz I had want them over
30:33these two. Um I suppose I could just go with uh Michael Pittman Jr. Um Concerns, of course, that it's a low
30:44volume passing attack, a low adot passing attack. And you've got, at this point, three solid wide receivers when you add in Jeremy Bernard.
30:53Um But Pittman also is just a player I like. Um and I think that he could still have a good season there.
31:01Um but maybe what we do is we just take running back and we just kind of let wide receiver sort itself out. I think
31:06that's actually probably the the better move. Cuz I like Rashad White. Um >> [snorts] >> We don't really know. I think it's going
31:13to be a pretty big camp battle. I don't know what's going to happen between him and um JCM.
31:19Uh You know, odds are Rashad White's going to be the passing down back, but like I've said in previous videos, it's not
31:24like they're going to actually throw to running backs all that much.
31:26Um but when you look at the other options, it gets pretty bleak. So, I think we could just take um We could take Rashad White or we can
31:36look Let's look at tight end.
31:42These teams could definitely double that.
31:44Like if you took a LaPorta, Kraft, Fanning, Pitts, it does make sense that you would take a second tight end.
31:51I feel like those are your options.
31:53Ferguson, Kincaid, Pittman, or White.
32:02I don't know.
32:03I don't know what the correct move is, but I think Uh I think I probably wouldn't go Pittman.
32:13I just don't think we need to given the team that we have right now.
32:17And I don't think we need to go tight end. Let's do Let's do Rashad White.
32:21Let's just say we're done. We're done at running backs. We don't need any more of them.
32:24Uh we'll go to wide receiver, that second tight end, um two wide receivers, I think, and our second tight end.
32:32And then defense, and then we're done.
32:33All right.
32:34After we go, uh it's only Trey Sermon Jr. and Allgeier. Uh we see Downs, Wandell, Quinton, Ricky Pearsall, Pitman, Golden, and Worthy all come off
32:41the board at wide receiver and then Likely is gone. Uh so at this point, I think Ferguson's a good enough value
32:49where I would just just take take Ferguson uh and then we'll just take whatever wide receiver. I I like Concepcion a decent amount. And I
32:56suppose I could probably wait for Kincaid until the next pick. And I also suppose three of these teams did take early
33:03tight end and might not take a second one.
33:07And I guess how much more do I even like Ferguson than It's not that much of a difference between Ferguson and and Kincaid. I
33:14don't think they're going to take two.
33:17So maybe I do actually.
33:20Let's take my guy. Let's take Concepcion.
33:24Nice. Ferguson's still there. So we'll take Ferguson.
33:29And then uh we'll just see what's available after that. And I'll pull up the draft board. I know I did two picks
33:33there, but I think that made sense.
33:35Okay, we take Concepcion, we take Ferguson. I'm not going to list off every pick, but a couple tight ends do go off the board. Um a couple
33:41quarterbacks go off the board. Teams are starting to take defense. Um Only running backs are Rodriguez and Charbonnet, but that's because the
33:50running back position is terrible at this point. If we want to take a running back, um sure, take a shot at Woody Marks, but
33:56I think Montez going to dominate there.
33:58Uh maybe take Spears if you want to take someone's handcuff.
34:03Uh but I just don't think you need to be attacking any of these running backs.
34:06So, I would take your favorite high upside wide receiver, which is probably Travis Hunter. We know what Shakir is. Uh we
34:15know Houston's probably not going to throw the ball that much. Travis Hunter theoretically could be the best wide receiver on that team.
34:21Will it happen? Probably not, but theoretically it could occur. And so I would probably just take uh Travis Hunter and a defense. And
34:29we will hop on out of I I think Travis Hunter um I think he's going to appear in some videos. I have no idea on defense what
34:35schedule is by the way.
34:38I mean, I'll just take the Jaguars cuz they're top, but um I think he's going to be featured in a lot of videos this season, uh Travis
34:47Hunter, because post-hype sleeper. Like if you can get him in like the last round of a draft, why would you not do
34:55that? It just feels like too easy of a decision to make. Um he is an exceptional wide receiver talent. I know they want to play him
35:01more at corner. You don't know what's going to happen. You don't know if you're going to get injuries at wide receiver. You don't know if he's going
35:07to just go out there and be the best wide receiver in the camp and win that job. And if you can get him in the last
35:11round, that's awesome value because he is exceptional talent. All right, so we get ninth at quarterback, first at running back and receiver, which is why
35:18we got first place in this grade, and then uh not great at tight end, but also not terrible. Um I think it was a really good draft. We
35:27took ahead of ADP, but you're fine reaching on your last skill position player at that point. Um what's um Oh, we don't have any. So
35:36I run simulations to basically say, "Okay, how'd you done this? How'd you done that? How'd you done this?"
35:41How could your draft have improved? Uh none. And actually I haven't got many A's. I usually like B pluses usually still a solid draft. So I think this
35:49draft went awesome. Uh we can pull up uh the grid here for all of you. Um There's the draft. My team highlighted
35:58in red in the middle. Um I think this went really well. I'd be very happy if this was my team. So this is kind of
36:06what I wanted to happen in a sense of saying you can start off wide receiver.
36:10It's okay to do, but when you do so, running back, running back, running back. Like see how the team just flowed really nicely after
36:18we locked in those touches at running back. I was allowed to go back to wide receiver and still get really good
36:22options in the middle rounds. Kind of close off running back a little bit earlier than I needed to. Still can take
36:27a nice quarterback. There if you're going to do that you probably want to double dip tight end later on and then
36:32defense last round. I feel like this was a textbook FFA draft. I think we did deserve a good score, but let me know
36:38what you think in the comments section down below.
36:41That'll do it for this one. Again, I think we're going to have a video on Wednesday just going over the offenses
36:48that I want to be investing in this season, but stay tuned. I reserve the right to change that, but anyways that'll be the end of this one and thank
36:56you all for watching.
