0:00He was great last year for Dallas. The
0:01contingent upside remains insane. George
0:04Pickens, first wide receiver two in the
0:06rankings, 93 receptions over 1,400
0:09yards, nine touchdowns last season.
0:11Career 9.9 yards per target, very elite.
0:14He's never been below 15.3 yards per
0:17reception. By far his highest catch rate
0:19of his career year one with Dallas. That
0:21was to be expected. Literally everything
0:22we talked about for George Pickens, why
0:24he was a must draft player last season,
0:26why we were all over him on Underdog, is
0:29we've got a pretty efficient wide
0:31receiver, still very young, going from a
0:33low volume offense to a super high
0:35volume offense with elite contingent
0:37upside, with elite weekly upside. It was
0:39just so obvious he was going to be
0:40amazing. The price tag, I think it has
0:43like sticker shock for people right now
0:45because we were drafting him every time
0:47in round five. Well, now you have to
0:49draft him at the two-three turn, and it
0:51can feel a little bit weird paying that
0:53mid-round price tag for him last season,
0:56seeing the good year, but then looking
0:57and being like, "Wait, I have to take
0:58him in the early third round right now?"
1:01But he is worth it. He's only 25 years
1:03old. He's only missed three games in his
1:05four-year career. He was great last year
1:08for Dallas. The contingent upside
1:10remains insane. If CeeDee Lamb were to
1:12miss significant time, you've got him as
1:14like a top five wide receiver in those
1:16weeks. There's very little systemic risk
1:19in Dallas, and so truly like even if you
1:21have CeeDee Lamb healthy all season,
1:23George Pickens is going to be a really
1:25solid pick in the early third round.
