A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury43:38

A.J. Brown is expected to be held out again this week against the Jets, which would elevate Afton Chisholm's role as the wide receiver two.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveBreakout41:38

Williams ran 77% of routes last week and is expected to see similarly high route share if Diggs remains out, especially in a trailing game script; offensive coordinator David Blau reportedly wanted to draft him in the third round as the Amon Ra in his offense, and Blau was Amon Ra's backup quarterback in his rookie season. The source projects a breakout game on Monday Night Football before the market catches on.

Insight page
PositiveRole42:33

With Stefon Diggs still not returning to practice, there's a good chance he will be held out again. Williams had 77% routes run rate last week and would expect it to be just as high if Diggs is out, especially in what should be a trailing game script. The source compares him to Amon Ra St. Brown (both wear number 14) and notes that offensive coordinator David Blau wanted to draft Williams in the third round to be the Amon Ra in his offense. At plus 350, the source likes him.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeProjection6:15

Gilles Gallant targets Caleb Williams at plus 350 or plus 360 for anytime touchdown, believing he will be healthier than the market is pricing in after nearly returning last week from a hamstring injury. Williams scored twice in Week 1 and even at an average scrambling rate, the odds are too high; the Falcons' run defense has been decent but faces a Bears team with numerous receiving options that won't allow stacking the box.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection40:00

Watson is coming off a six-catch, 143-yard, two-touchdown game against the Bears and the source was surprised to see his odds at plus 130. This is a great matchup against the Cowboys, who rank dead last in pass DVOA. While Joey Porter Jr. could be on Watson quite a bit, the source still likes Watson at plus 130 given Jordan Love's ability to air it out to both him and Matthew Golden.

Insight page

Dawson Knox

PositiveRole32:03

Knox has three red zone targets on the season, including a target in the end zone last week. The source notes he is schemed into the red zone and generally targets him on island games (Bills at Raiders is an island game). The Raiders have been bad versus tight ends this year, and while Knox only gets one to three targets per game, many tend to come right around the end zone. At plus 600, the source likes him despite the odds being a bit high.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveInjury44:28

Devonta Smith may be unavailable, which could increase target volume for Dallas Goddard in the Eagles offense.

Insight page

Isaiah Bond

PositiveRole9:15

Sean Kerner likes Isaiah Bond at plus 550 for the Browns because both Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion are questionable; Concepcion is in concussion protocol and typically misses at least one game. Bond saw a huge boost in usage once Concepcion went out last week with a 77% routes run rate, three catches for 74 yards; he went undrafted last year due to legal issues but is considered a third-round talent by many.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveProjection16:45

Sean Kerner is all in on Isaiah Likely at plus 225 for the Giants against the Saints; Likely's underlying usage has been elite with 66 yards, 94 yards, and two touchdowns in recent games. The Giants have been in three straight heavy rain/sloppy conditions where Jameis Winston missed Likely wide open a couple times with bad throws, but the forecast for the Meadowlands shows perfect weather—the best the Giants have seen in over a month. Additionally, Theo Johnson is dealing with a neck injury and may be out, meaning Likely could play every snap.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout44:48

Likely is finally seeing the breakout the source has been waiting for with James Winston at quarterback; the source projects he will keep the good vibes rolling against the Saints defense and is using him as the third leg of a parlay at around 44-to-1 odds.

Insight page

Jahan Dotson

PositiveMatchup7:15

Gilles Gallant likes Jahan Dotson at plus 400 against the Bears defense; in three games with Michael Penix, Dotson has 10 targets with three to the end zone (including a 31-yard TD catch). He runs routes at the second-highest clip on the Falcons behind Drake London, leads the team in ADOT and deep targets, and faces a Bears defense ranked 31st in defensive DVOA versus the deep ball that has allowed seven 40-plus yard passes (most in NFL) through five games.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

PositiveRole38:00

Ferguson will be heavily involved in the Cowboys offense and is still getting a lot of red zone targets. The source expects him to see targets against the Packers defense, which is not doing well in stopping tight ends. The source likes him to score a touchdown on the Cowboys side for the Cowboys-Packers game.

Insight page

Jalen Brooks

PositiveRole30:00

With Marvin Harrison Jr. out last week, Brooks stepped up and took most of his snaps, running 57% of routes just behind Bourne's 59%. He saw two end zone targets and nearly caught both—one was a 20-yard pass where he nearly made a one-handed catch but dropped it, and another in the back of the end zone where he only got one foot in. The source sees him as having a ton of upside in the Marvin Harrison role, especially in potential garbage time when the Cardinals might use more three-wide receiver sets. At plus 650, the source likes him.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveRole20:41

Coker is returning this week and will see increased volume as the Panthers' offense runs through him and McMillan. The source notes Coker has nine targets in each of his two full games played this year and is moving into a wide receiver two role. With Philadelphia's great secondary likely focusing on McMillan, Coker could see extra volume. The source likes him at plus 320 and would hit down to plus 250, citing the Carolina team's massive passing yards output week-to-week.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveInjury44:04

Jalen Hurts is out, which is expected to increase target volume for Dallas Goddard and potentially other Eagles receivers if Devonta Smith or Saquon Barkley are also unavailable.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

PositiveRole44:48

James Winston at quarterback for the Ravens is enabling Isaiah Likely's breakout performance, suggesting improved target volume and efficiency for Likely.

Insight page

Laquon Treadwell

PositiveMatchup27:36

Treadwell has 14 targets over the last two games with three in the red zone and two to the end zone. He's been lining up outside mostly with Alec Pierce still out, and this indoor game against Tennessee (31st in defensive DVOA versus the pass, bottom five versus the deep ball) sets up great for him. Treadwell leads the team in average depth of target (ADOT), making him the deep target option for Indianapolis. The source likes him at plus 550.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

PositiveRole14:15

Gilles Gallant targets Mason Taylor at plus 450 as the likely starting tight end if Kenyon Sadiq misses time due to concussion protocol; Adonai Mitchell hasn't practiced and Christian Gonzalez's status is uncertain. Taylor was heavily used last year, averaging just over five targets per game with two games of 10-plus targets, and led the Jets in red zone targets last year with Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. At tight end one pricing of plus 400 or better, Taylor is the preferred target.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveRole38:48

Golden has eight red zone targets so far on the season with only two touchdowns, but two of those have come in the last three weeks. He is getting targeted heavily every single time and the Dallas defense is not good. At plus 145, the source sees the odds as a bit low for his role. There's a decent chance the Packers will have to throw later in the game, which should benefit Golden.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveRole33:12

Mayer is effectively the tight end one for the Raiders because Brock Bowers is no longer running stuff from the tight end position and is effectively a wide receiver. Mayer plays 80+ snaps almost every week (only 65 last week as an outlier) and has gotten a decent amount of targets in the red zone. The Bills have been giving up boatloads of yards and points through the air, with nearly every game scoring 26+ or 29+ points. At plus 320, the source sees this as good value in what could be an incredibly high-scoring game.

Insight page

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

PositiveMatchup28:21

Westbrook-Ikhine has an ultimate revenge game angle as he plays the Titans for the first time since leaving them in free agency. He's priced at around 17 to 1 and scored nine touchdowns in 2024, giving him significant upside in this matchup.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveValue5:00

Grant Niefer recommends Nico Collins at plus 175 as underpriced; Collins has three touchdowns through three games played and the addition of Harrison (a great deep threat) should open things up rather than diminish usage. The Texans are likely to pass heavily against Jacksonville, who has been a massive pass funnel this season, creating favorable conditions for Collins.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue4:00

Grant Niefer highlights Parker Washington at plus 185 as underpriced despite four touchdowns through five weeks and 35 targets on the year; he's the clear number one wide receiver in the Texans offense and the source notes coach speak about his off-season extension discussions proved true, with Washington looking like a top-five wide receiver at this point in the season.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveValue10:15

Grant Niefer recommends Pat Freiermuth at plus 350 despite weather concerns (wind) in the Steelers-Buccaneers game; Freiermuth gets mostly shorter passes where wind is not a problem and can score via the tush-push. He has four touchdowns through five games, consistently gets five-plus targets virtually every game, and has scored in three of five games this year.

Insight page

Rachaad White

PositiveValue11:45

Grant Niefer likes Rachaad White (referred to as Igbuka in the transcript, but context indicates this is Rachaad White/Bucky Irving discussion) at plus 310 as underpriced; with Daniels in the Buccaneers offense, they are not throwing downfield much (nine targets last week, longest reception 21 yards), so White gets a lot of shorter area touches. He is the clear number one overall target and can score on the ground or in short area situations.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveInjury44:28

Saquon Barkley may be unavailable, which could increase target volume for Dallas Goddard in the Eagles offense.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeInjury41:43

Diggs still hasn't returned to practice yet heading into the Commanders-49ers game, and the source projects a good chance he will be held out again.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveProjection35:15

At 37 years old, Kelce is still heavily involved in the Chiefs passing game with two touchdowns this year and leads the team in targets per route run. With Rasheed Rice potentially out, Kelce remains an end zone threat and key target as long as Patrick Mahomes is on the field. The source notes the Chiefs historically play well coming off a bye, which should help rejuvenate Kelce's burst. At plus 190, the source takes him as the chalkiest pick of the week.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

PositiveRole31:31

With Terrence Ferguson still on IR and Colby Parkinson banged up, Higbee is the lead tight end for the Rams. He saw 63% routes run rate last week and has had five or more catches in three straight games. Facing a Cardinals defense that has allowed four touchdowns to tight ends in the last three games, the source expects this game could get ugly early with a ton of touchdowns. At plus 260, the source likes Higbee.

3:26Grant, you did a lot of heavy lifting for us here last week.
3:30But the joint group effort, we cashed our favorite DraftKings touchdown score parlay just under 34-1.
3:35That was Justin Jefferson, Pat Friermuth, and Isaiah Likely.
3:38So we're going to do that again at the end of the show.
3:42Stick around. We're going to give our favorite touchdown parlay for Week 6, see if we can go back-to-back.
3:48And also, tell your friends to tune in and tail our parlays, or else you're going to get bad betting luck this week.
3:55So make sure to share the pod with them and also get in there.
3:59Oh, yeah, we did cash Darius Cooper as well with the London game.
4:03I had to mention that as well. So, again, a lot of winners came through in Week 5.
4:09We're going to try to carry over that momentum for Week 6.
4:13But we do start with the London game, and that is the Houston Texans visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars.
4:18I'm visiting in quotations because, again, we are in London.
4:22But I guess this would be determined as a home game for the Jaguars for scheduling purposes.
4:27So, Grant, you are up first. You're a red hot from last week.
4:31Red hot on the season for touchdown scores. Who do you like to score in Houston at Jacksonville?
4:37I mean, with this one, I'm kind of going with the obvious guys because why are the obvious guys priced this high?
4:44Starting off with Parker Washington, you can get them at plus 185 at the moment.
4:48This guy has four touchdowns through five weeks. The dude looks like an absolute stud.
4:53He has been absolutely crushing it so far. The volume's up and down week to week, but he still has 35 targets on the year.
5:01He's a clear number one wide receiver in this offense.
5:04Getting it plus 185 is silly. And then the clear number one wide receiver in the offense on the other side, Nico Collins, plus 175.
5:12A guy with three touchdowns through three games played.
5:15Now gets Harrison there, which you would think, oh, that might take some of his usage away.
5:20Realistically, Harrison probably opens things up. A guy who's a great deep threat.
5:24They're probably going to be passing the ball a lot going up against Jacksonville, who has been a massive pass funnel so far this season.
5:32Everything's lining up for both these guys, and the odds are just far too high.
5:37Well, Parker Washington, I think, is one player where coach speak really rang true.
5:41Because, again, a lot of off-season hype about him.
5:44It was like, okay, you know, he's really showing out in camp.
5:48They were looking at an extension kind of thing.
5:51And, I mean, this season, he looks like a top five wide receiver at this point.
5:56And along with Nico Collins, who also threw three games.
5:59When he's on the field, he's scoring touchdowns. CJ Stroud is looking for him.
6:03So, great start for you, Grant. So, we've got Parker Washington, Nico Collins for Texans-Jaguars.
6:08All right, let's move back to the 1 o'clock slate.
6:11I'm going to start first. I'm going to start with this Bears at Falcons game.
6:16I'm going to start with Caleb Williams. Because I think he's going to be a little bit healthier than people are letting on.
6:23Because, again, he almost was ready to come back last week.
6:27But they kind of wanted to keep him out.
6:29Let the hamstring heal. And I think if he is back to where we are at, these odds should not be around plus 350, plus 360.
6:38He scored twice in week one. Even if he's scrambling at an average rate, again, I just think this is just too
6:45high of odds for his touchdown prop. And because, also, the Falcons' run defense, they've been pretty decent this year.
6:51But they've been facing some teams that don't really have as many receiving options as the Bears will.
6:57Because the Bears, they have receiving options all over the field.
7:00They're not going to be able to stack the box like that to be able to stop the run.
7:06Just so I want to be able to get ahead of the market on Caleb Williams, especially if he's at plus 300 or better.
7:14On the Falcons' side, I'm going with Jahan Dotson.
7:16It's around plus 400. In three games this year with Michael Penix, the quarterback, he only has 10 targets.
7:22But three of those targets are to the end zone.
7:25One of them was a 31-yard touchdown catch. And I think facing this Bears defense is a great match for his skill set.
7:33Because he's running routes at the second highest clip on the team behind Drake London.
7:37But he leads the team in ADOT and deep targets.
7:41And this Bears defense, now they've only allowed six passing touchdowns this year.
7:45But five to wide receivers. And they're not really defending the deep ball that well.
7:49They're 31st in defensive DVOA versus the deep ball.
7:52They've given up the most 40-plus yard passes at seven through five games.
7:56So I think with Michael Penix, if he's playing, Jahan Dotson is who we want here at four to one.
8:03So I like Caleb Williams and Jahan Dotson for Bears at Falcons.
8:06All right, Kerner, you are up next. And you've got Ravens at Browns.
8:11Who do you like to score in this game?
8:13Yeah, for this game, I'm going to go with a couple of long shots at wide receiver.
8:19And for the Ravens side, I'm going to go Devontez Walker.
8:22At eight to one. He's become the Ravens' clear number three wide receiver.
8:26Last week, he had a 70% routes run rate.
8:29Typically, he gets downfield targets. His ADOT this year is 22 yards downfield.
8:33But last week, he got two catches for nine yards and a touchdown with Tyler Huntley.
8:38And the touchdown was a nice little back shoulder throw.
8:41He was clearly the first read. And I think that he probably does have more chemistry with Huntley because they probably practiced
8:48a ton in the second unit through camp, the earlier part of the season.
8:53So they probably have some sneaky chemistry. And, you know, Lamar hasn't practiced yet this week.
8:58So I'm assuming it'll be Huntley back out there again.
9:01So I think, again, that kind of gives Walker a kind of a boost.
9:05And Rashad Bateman's kind of banged up. You know, even if he plays, if he's banged up, that could lead to, you
9:12know, Walker getting an extra target or two. So I like Walker here at plus 800.
9:17I actually have this closer to plus 600. So love the value here.
9:21And on the other side, for the Brown side, I like Isaiah Bond at plus 550 because both, you know, Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion are both questionable.
9:30I think Casey could miss it because he's in the concussion protocol.
9:34Typically guys miss at least one game when they get in the protocol.
9:38And Bond saw, you know, huge boost in usage once Casey went out of the game last week, had a 77% routes
9:45run rate, three catches for 74 yards. And he went undrafted last year, but that was due to legal issues.
9:51A lot of people consider him like a third round talent.
9:55So he has plenty of talent. So anytime he's going to get a boost in playing time, I'm going to be interested.
10:02So assuming, you know, Casey ends up getting ruled out, I like Bond here at plus 550.
10:07Yeah, I gave out Casey Concepcion, I believe on the show last week and he took a really bad hit.
10:13I would be surprised because he was out on the field.
10:17So I'd be surprised if he's playing this week.
10:20And then Devontes Walker again, nice little connection there with Tyler Huntley.
10:23I was a victim to the Mark Andrews drop and then fumble in that game.
10:28So I wasn't sure if you were going to maybe look at Matt Hibner or something like that.
10:34So I think Devontes Walker is a nice little look here at eight to one.
10:38Let's now move to Steelers at Buccaneers. Grant, you got this one.
10:42Who do you like to score in this game?
10:45Well, starting off with a guy that I just vet every single week.
10:49And it pays off a lot. Pat Fryer-Muth plus 350.
10:52I get that there is some weather concerns here.
10:55The wind is going to be, I think, fairly bad in this spot here.
11:00I don't really care that much. Like, Muth is going to get mostly shorter passes where the wind is not going to be a huge problem here.
11:08He can obviously run one in with a tush-push.
11:11So he's got four touchdowns through five games, consistently getting five-plus targets virtually every single game.
11:16He is the reliable guy in this offense for Rodgers who likes guys that he can rely on.
11:22Getting him at plus 350 considering he's scored in three out of five games so far this year, all of which I
11:29bet him on, which has been beautiful, is just absolutely silly.
11:32And then on the other side, Igbuka, with Daniels in this offense, they're not really throwing that much downfield.
11:38They got nine targets last week. Longest reception, I think, was 21 yards.
11:42So in a game where wind may be a problem here, I think he gets a lot of shorter area stuff with Daniels starting there.
11:50He ran one in last week. He can obviously do it on the ground, do it in any short area.
11:56He's the clear number one overall target. I have no problem with going with Bucky Irving in this one.
12:02But Igbuka getting him at plus 310 just seems kind of silly to me.
12:07Yeah, and that's kind of what I was getting at is that these prices, I think they're kind of indicating about the weather, right?
12:14And I think with the Muth, I think that's the solid look because, again, he kind of made Darnell Washington kind of
12:21like a non-factor in the passing game too. And then, of course, the tush-push option in Ibuka, you're getting that wide receiver one at 3-1.
12:29Again, it's really hard to pass on in this game.
12:32Just as an off note here, because I was talking with Nick Giffen about this game, he kind of likes the under in this spot.
12:40He was trying to go full shoot in this, and I was like, well, would you consider no touchdown?
12:46And he was like, well, I have that at these odds.
12:49Right now, no touchdown in this game. I would not recommend this.
12:53But, again, if you're going to do a very, very, very, very small sprinkle, it's around 100-1 right now in this game.
13:00So if it goes completely off the rails, that might be an angle to look at.
13:05But I love the Muth-Abuka looks for Steelers at Buccaneers.
13:08Okay, I have got this next game. This is Jets at Patriots.
13:12And, yeah, I'm going to start on this Patriots side because there's a little bit of uncertainty of what's really happening here
13:19for the receiving game right now with A.J. Brown and, you know, Travion Henderson.
13:23I thought they were going to be out, and now, you know, because we record this Thursday night, they both practiced on Wednesday and Thursday.
13:31So I was very interested to see kind of what happens here.
13:35But I'm going to go with Efton Chisholm. He's around plus 350.
13:39One thing that is the least positive is the Patriots passing game kind of looks like it's recaptured that magic, what we've seen.
13:46But I think he's going to see a little bit more opportunities.
13:50He's gotten 10 targets over the last two games.
13:53He scored a touchdown against the Bills, lining up in the slot a lot.
13:57So I think that will help. Let's say Hendo does miss his time or is out for this game.
14:03I think that will open up more opportunities for Chisholm, whether it be on those check down routes or underneath routes.
14:10And then, of course, if A.J. is out, again, more opportunities.
14:13Don't forget, Matt Collins is also out for this offense as well.
14:17So I love this at plus 350. On the Jets side, Kerner, you mentioned about the concussion protocol and how sometimes when
14:24guys get in, it's like they usually typically miss one game.
14:27I think Jamar Chase is the only exception I could think of where he had that quick face mask yank.
14:34And then but I'm looking at Mason Taylor. Part of that is because of Kenyon Sadiq being in the concussion protocol this week.
14:41Mason Taylor right now as would be the starting tight end if Sadiq misses time here and he's around plus 450.
14:48So Adonai Mitchell, he hasn't practiced. Kenyon Sadiq, same thing with the concussion.
14:52And Christian Gonzalez, again, he says he's coming back.
14:54Practice says that he's coming back. But if that's the case, I kind of want to avoid the outside wide receivers in this spot.
15:02But I think people forget how much Taylor was used in this offense last year.
15:07Like he averaged just over five targets a game.
15:10He had two games with 10 plus targets and led the Jets in red zone targets last year.
15:15And that was with Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor at quarterback.
15:19At least with Geno, it's kind of semi-confident thrower of the football.
15:22That being said, though, again, I think if you're going to get a tight end one at plus 400 or better, this
15:29is the guy we want to take. But I do reserve the right to change my pick by Sunday once I know final inactives.
15:37Because if Sadiq is back in, I may shift back over to another.
15:41But Mason Taylor at 4-1, still like this price here.
15:44So that's who I'm going to take. Efton Chisholm and Mason Taylor for Jets Patriots.
15:49Okay, one more game and then we'll do a break.
15:52Let's do Saints at Giants. Kerner, who do you like to score in this game?
15:57Yeah, this one I'm going to go a bit chalkier.
16:00And for the Saints side, I'm going to stick with Devon Vele here at plus 270.
16:05You know, Tyler Shuck really struggled last week. He only threw for 96 yards.
16:09Didn't throw a touchdown, threw two picks. But that was against that, you know, crazy blitz-heavy Vikings defense.
16:15And Vele still had four catches, 26 yards. So, you know, he still had a decent game, all things considered.
16:21But I think Shuck and the passing attack overall should bounce back here against the Giants.
16:26And Vele, you know, he has four end zone targets on the season, which is tied for eighth most.
16:32And again, when it comes to the Saints, we don't have to deal with, you know, the Taysom Hill bullshit in the red zone anymore.
16:40So it kind of gives everybody kind of like a sneaky boost when it comes to like red zone usage.
16:47So Vele's another guy that, you know, I think he benefits from that quite a bit.
16:52So I like him here at plus 270. And then for the Giants, I have to go with Isaiah Likely here at plus 225.
16:59You know, I wrote up a couple weeks ago for my Isaiah Likely over 33.5 receiving yard prop.
17:05It was like the best time to buy low on him.
17:08And he's gone for 66 yards, 94 yards and two touchdowns last week.
17:12Since then, because, you know, the underlying usage has just been crazy good elite, I should say.
17:18So I fully expect this to continue. And the crazy part is, you know, the Giants have been involved in like three
17:25straight rain, like heavy rain, sloppy, horrible conditions where Jameis actually missed Likely, you know, who was wide open a couple times.
17:32Where you could tell the ball kind of slipped out of Jameis's hands.
17:36It was such a bad throw that in normal weather, you likely could have had even bigger games.
17:41And I looked at the forecast right now for the Meadowlands is perfect weather.
17:46So we might see, you know, the best weather we've seen for the Giants in over a month.
17:51So I'm all in on Likely here. And Theo Johnson, you know, the random troll touchdown guy is dealing with a neck injury.
17:59So, you know, there's a chance he might be out.
18:02We're likely might have to play every single snap at that point.
18:06So, yeah, Likely at plus 225. You just can't pass this one up.
18:10Yeah, the Likely pick. I'm so surprised that they're still listing him at over plus 200.
18:15I know Jameis can be a little bit of a wild card.
18:18But again, just with the way that he plays, that's perfect for the breakout for Likely that we've been all anticipating ever since he came into the league.
18:27Like we were just waiting for like if Mark Andrews is out, Likely stock up kind of thing.
18:33So now with the Giants, Theo Johnson, let's move him out of the way.
18:37Devon Bailey, fun fact, he's still – I thought this would kind of plane off as the season went on.
18:44But he's still ninth in the NFL in total routes run.
18:47Like I thought that would kind of drop off because he was closer to like first or second.
18:53But more routes than Chris Olave, more routes than Juwan Johnson.
18:56I love that fact too. So Isaiah likely at plus 225 and Devon Bailey at plus 270.

24:13We're back now with the Touchdown Show for NFL Week 6, giving out our favorite touchdown props we like.
24:19We are continuing on. And we go back now to Panthers at Eagles.
24:23Now, it is important to mention, when we started kind of doing our research on this game, this was probably prior to
24:30the news, that Jalen Hurts is dealing with blood clots, so he's going to be out indefinitely.
24:36So that completely changes the Eagles' offense and maybe how we approach this.
24:40So Grant, I don't envy you. You are up on this game.
24:43You had to adjust once the news came through.
24:46How did we adjust? What kind of touchdown props do you like for Panthers versus Eagles?
24:51I mean, yeah, that honestly doesn't change too much for who my pick's going to be for Philly, because Dallas Goddard is
24:58still priced around plus 300, as he seems to be pretty much every week.
25:03And I just keep thinking, obviously didn't end up paying off last week, but week one was phenomenal.
25:08Last year, 11 touchdowns, one rushing, I think, in the playoffs.
25:12He has been a huge red zone threat. Smith, we don't know if he's going to play.
25:17Barkley, we don't know if he's going to play.
25:20Hurts, we now know is not going to play.
25:23McKee in there, they're probably going to focus more on Goddard with those easy short passes.
25:28Goddard's probably going to get the tush-push role in this offense here.
25:32Everything points towards Goddard, probably having a bigger role without Hurts in there.
25:36Understand why he's still priced around 300. His odds have gone up, and I like him even more on this spot here.
25:43Carolina, obviously not a great defense, and they've been putting up a bunch of points every single week, so there's a chance
25:50this gets into a little bit of a higher scoring game than you would expect here.
25:55Love Goddard at 295. And then on the other side, Jalen Coker is going to be back this week, it looks like.
26:02He practiced again today. This offense is going to run almost entirely through McMillan and Coker.
26:07I get that Philly has a great secondary. I think McMillan will have the tougher role in this spot, so Coker could
26:14see some extra volume going his way. Obviously, two full games he's played this year, nine targets in each.
26:20This Carolina team is putting up massive amounts of passing yards week in and week out this season.
26:25Coker coming into his wide receiver two role again and could be in for a boost because of the matchup here.
26:32I love him at plus 320. I'd hit this all the way down to like plus 250.
26:37Yeah, while you were talking, I was just looking back at Tanner McKee.
26:41I just wanted to look a little bit more about how he is played.
26:46And from a passing standpoint, I think, I mean, I don't mean to disparage Jalen Hurts, but it is what it is.
26:53I think the passing game might see a little bit of a boost as a result of having Tanner McKee in there.
26:59And Dallas Goddard, again, closer to three to one.
27:02The price is crazy. And then Jalen Coker, I think, is a solid look too because you know that he's probably not
27:09going to line up out wide as often. So I'd imagine Tett McMillan is probably going to see a good, healthy dose of Quinny on Mitchell.
27:17So I think Jalen Coker, if he's back, that's the guy you want, especially when you're getting, again, plus 300.
27:24Great odds for both of these guys. Okay, I'm moving now to Titans at Colts.
27:28I went long shot on both sides. I took your guy, Grant, actually Laquan Treadwell is who I'm taking on the Colts side.
27:36He's around plus 550. So he's got 14 targets over the last two games.
27:40Three of those were in the red zone, two to the end zone.
27:44But similar to kind of what you were looking at last week, he's been lining up outside mostly with Eric, or Eric, Alec Pierce still out.
27:52And now this being an indoor game, you don't have to deal with all that bullshit weather that we were having to
27:59deal with last week when we were going to cash the yard ladder, right?
28:04So, and then you're facing this Titans pass defense, which is 31st in defensive DVOA versus the pass, bottom five versus the deep ball.
28:11That sets up great for Treadwell because he's the deep target option for Indy.
28:16He leads the team in ADOT. So that's who I'm going to take on the Colts side.
28:21However, I would be remiss if I did not mention that there is an ultimate revenge game angle in this game with
28:28Nick Westbrook-Aquinier because this is the first time that he's going to be playing the Titans since he left them free agency.
28:35He's around 17 to one, scored nine touchdowns in 2024.
28:38So just wanted to at least bring that up.
28:41But again, Laquan Treadwell is who I like on the Colts side to score a touchdown.
28:46On the Titans side, there's a little bit of value on a lot of guys here, but I went with Alec Iamanor.
28:53He's around plus 550. The Titans just love finding ways to get him involved in the red zone.
28:58They're just, as an offense, they're just not very good at executing it.
29:03Like for example, he scored in week one, but he hasn't scored since, but he's the only Titan to get at least
29:10one red zone target in all five games. So at this price, around plus 550, I'll take a swing that if the
29:16Titans actually get to the red zone, that they don't screw it up and they look for Alec Iamanor, especially at this price.
29:24So that's who I'm taking. Laquan Treadwell, Alec Iamanor, both of them at plus 550.
29:28Okay, we are now moving to this 4 p.m.
29:31slate and we start with Cardinals at Rams. Kerner, you've got this game.
29:35You were actually at the Rams-Bills game. This one is going to be in LA.
29:40Are you going to go to this one? Probably not this one.
29:44This is the afternoon game, right? I usually like to watch all the games at the same time, but anytime we get
29:51a prime time game here, I usually try to go.
29:54But yeah, who knows? We'll see. But I do like Jalen Brooks here for the Cardinals at plus 650.
30:00Obviously, you know, Marvin Harrison Jr. was Trey away last week.
30:03Someone had to step up in his place and I figured it would be the former Cowboys wide receiver, Jalen Brooks.
30:10And sure enough, that's who ended up taking most of his snaps.
30:14He had a 57% routes run rate just behind Bourne, who had a 59% routes run rate.
30:19So they were sort of like co-wide receiver twos because they used, what they did was they just used way more heavy tight end personnel.
30:27So like Elijah Higgins was out there a lot more.
30:30Tegan Quarantino, whoever, like he scored a couple touchdowns.
30:33That guy played a little bit more. So Brooks ended up going just, you know, two catches for 16 yards, but he
30:40saw two end zone targets and nearly caught both of them.
30:43The first one was a 20 yard pass from Jacoby Brissett where Brissett was looking at him the entire time and Brooks
30:50got open, but Brissett threw it too high. So Brooks had to like jump up and he nearly made a one handed
30:57catch, but dropped it on his way to the ground.
31:00So that was kind of Jacoby's fault, but he nearly caught a touch on there.
31:05Later in the game, he caught a ball in the back of the end zone, but was only able to get one foot in.
31:13So I guess in college, he would have scored a touchdown, but that was two potential touchdowns sort of in the Marvin Harrison role.
31:20So I think he has a ton of upside here, especially in, you know, potential garbage time.
31:26They might use more three wide receiver sets. So I like him here at plus 650.
31:31And then the Ram side, I'm going to go with Tyler Higbee at plus 260 because with Terrence Ferguson still on IR,
31:37Colby Parkinson's been banged up the past few weeks.
31:40Higbee's been the guy. He's been the lead tight end.
31:43So, you know, he saw 63% routes run rate last week.
31:47He's had five or more catches in three straight games now.
31:50And they're facing a Cardinals defense. That's allowed four touchdowns to tight ends in the last three games.
31:56So this is a game, it could get ugly early and we could see, you know, a ton of touchdowns here.
32:03So I like Higbee at plus 260. Yeah. I wanted to look at the red zone usage and end zone targets and
32:10from the Cardinals from the last game with Marv gone.
32:13And you're right. Jalen Brooks saw two red zone targets along with Teagan.
32:17But Reggie Virgil also saw one too, which is hilarious.
32:20So just, just a funny system here with the way that this offense looks.
32:24So, yeah, I love these picks of Jalen Brooks, Tyler Higbee.
32:28Those are the two bets that you like for Cardinals at Rams.
32:32Okay. Let's move now to Bills at Raiders. So, Grant, you got this one.
32:36Who do you like in this? Yeah. Starting off with a guy that destroyed my hopes and dreams when he dropped the
32:43first touchdown in that last game, Dawson Knox plus 600.
32:46And I generally like to target him on Island game.
32:49This is an Island game. I don't know if that means anything at all or not, or if it's just random coincidence they always scores on them.
32:58But in any case, getting a plus 600 is a bit too high.
33:02This guy has three red zone targets on the season, including a target in the end zone last week that was just outside the red zone, I believe.
33:11So, he's a guy that is kind of schemed a bit in the red zone.
33:15The spot here is not a bad one. The Raiders have been bad versus tight ends this year.
33:21He's only getting one to three targets every single game, but a lot of them tend to come right around the end zone.
33:28So, Knox at plus 600 is a bit too high here.
33:32And on the other side, going with another tight end, Michael Mayer scored touchdown plus 320.
33:37The Bills have been just giving up boatloads of yards through the air so far this season.
33:42Boatloads of points to opposing teams. I think, what, all but two, or all but one has scored 26 or more points or 29 or more points.
33:51So, every single game seems to be high scoring.
33:53It's being played over in Vegas. Should be better for the passing game there.
33:58Mayer is effectively the tight end one because Bowers is not really a tight end anymore.
34:03He is not running stuff from the tight end position.
34:06He is effectively a wide receiver. So, Mayer is the de facto tight end one.
34:11He's playing a bunch of snaps right around 80 plus almost every single week.
34:15Last week, he was only at 65, but that was just a random outlier.
34:20He's heavily involved. He's gotten a decent amount of targets so far this season in the red zone.
34:25So, getting him at plus 320 is a bit too low in what could be an incredibly high scoring game again any time the Bills play.
34:33I might be alone on this. The last three games that I've watched with the Raiders when Kirk Cousins is targeting the
34:40end zone and then you see the player catch it, I was like not 100% certain that it was Brock Bowers or
34:47Michael Mayer because their numbers are so close. And I'm like, wait a minute, wait a minute, and then you hear Brock
34:54Bowers and I'm like, okay, yep, that makes sense because that's the thing.
34:58Michael Mayer, he's out there so much like that's, it kind of makes sense that why he's around plus 320.
35:05Great value here facing this Bills secondary and just this Bills team.
35:08You look at the injury report, they've got injuries everywhere.
35:12They're coming off a Monday night overtime game. I think their defense could get scored on a lot against this Raiders offense.
35:18So, Michael Mayer and Brock Bowers, there's a lot of good options here, but Michael Mayer is who Grant likes at plus 320.
35:26And then, of course, I'm never going to knock a Dawson Knox touchdown score on this show, at least.
35:32Okay, now let's move to Chargers at Chiefs. This will be the chalkiest pick I give out this week and that is Travis Kelsey.
35:39He's around plus 190. I wanted to get some chalk in this week looking at all the games that I was assigned.
35:46A lot of the time, it was like, you know what, I just want to take the best value and a lot
35:53of those are usually the long shots, but I'll take Taylor Swift's husband to get a touchdown here.
35:59Look, I know he's old, he's 37, but he's still heavily involved in this Chiefs passing game.
36:04Two touchdowns this year, leads the team in targets per route run.
36:08Rasheed Rice, he might not play this week as well.
36:11So for me, as long as Patrick Mahomes is out there, Kelsey is always going to be an end zone threat and a key target.
36:19Another thing too, the Chiefs coming off of a bye, I think that will only help a 37-year-old to rejuvenate some of
36:26that burst coming off the line and we've seen the Chiefs historically play well coming off of a bye, including Kelsey in this spot.
36:33So I'm going to take him at plus 190.
36:36On the Chargers side, this is the biggest, I don't want to call it what the fuck line that I saw all
36:43week, but Omarian Hampton at plus 280 for the Chargers.
36:46Like I get that the Chargers offensive line is being held together like by like, what, like scotch tape and exercise bands
36:53like at this stage because both of their starting tackles dealing with injuries, but I mean, I can't pass on Hampton at
37:00plus 280, like 12 red zone carries already this year.
37:03He's the only Chargers running back to get looks inside the 10-yard line and five-yard line and he's scored in three of five games so far this year.
37:12In fact, if you go back to last season because his last season it was an injury short year, he's technically scored
37:19in eight of 15 regular season games. So given this Chargers injury report and how lengthy it is, what wide receiver is
37:26going to play, I mean, you can see Trey Harris right now and didn't practice like on Wednesday, maybe even parts of Thursday.
37:33So I'm going to lean on Jim Harbaugh to stick with running the ball.
37:38Omari on Hampton, he's around plus 270, plus 280.
37:40That's my favorite touchdown score prop for the Chargers.
37:43Okay, we are going to move now to Sunday Night Football.
37:47Instead of assigning the game to each person or a different person, we're just going to give our favorite touchdown prop that
37:54we like in each of these primetime games and then we'll build a parlay out of it.
37:59So I'll start off with the Cowboys. I'm going to go with Jake Ferguson.
38:03He's going to be still heavily involved in this offense.
38:07I think a lot of people are still going to be looking at CeeDee Lamb or George Pickens, but Jake Ferguson is
38:14still getting a lot of red zone targets. He's going to probably see some targets against this Packers defense that's not doing very well in stopping tight ends.
38:22So that's who I like to score a touchdown on the Cowboys side for Cowboys at Packers.
38:28Grant, who do you like to score a touchdown in this game?
38:31On the other side, I'm going Matthew Golden to score a touchdown.
38:35You can find him, I believe it is, plus 145, which odds are a little bit low for my liking, but his role is just phenomenal.
38:43I mean, I think he has eight red zone targets so far on the season.
38:48Only has two touchdowns, but two touchdowns in the last three weeks.
38:52Getting targeted heavily every single time. Dallas defense, not good.
38:55So everything kind of lines up where he should be in for his normal role here.
39:00There's a decent chance they're going to have to throw later on in the game.
39:05So Golden, plus 145, a bit too high still.
39:08All right. So Ferguson, Golden, Kerner, which way are you going for your touchdown prop for Packers, Cowboys?
39:13I'm going to go with Christian Watson at plus 130.
39:17I was kind of surprised to see his odds this high coming off that six catch, 143 yard, two touchdown game against the Bears.
39:24I still think this is a great matchup against the Cowboys where Jordan Love could just air it out to both him and Matthew Golden.
39:32Again, you know, Cowboys rank dead last and pass DV away.
39:35Obviously adding Joey Porter Jr. should help somewhat and he could be on, you know, Watson quite a bit here, but come
39:42on, give me Watson at plus 130 here against Cowboys.
39:45All right. So we put those three together. That's Ferguson, Golden, and Watson.
39:50That comes out to around 21 to 1 at DraftKings for that same game parlay.
39:54So love that spot, especially with what we've seen from this Cowboys defense.
39:58I feel like Watson Golden could cash in the first half given the resistance or lack of that they've shown to opposing offenses.
40:06All right, let's move to Monday Night Football. Commanders at 49ers.
40:09I'll start us off here. I'm going to take Bill.
40:12I'm going to take Ja'Cory Cross-Gamaret. He's around plus 180.
40:15He's got two touchdowns this year. The run game for the Commanders has been a little uneven, especially with just with Marcus
40:22Mariota and Jaden Daniels both kind of stepping in.
40:25But I think this is still the lead back in this offense.
40:29I think they're going to lean on him, especially when it's still in that neutral game script in the first half.
40:36So to get that RB1 on the Commanders' side at plus 185, that's who I'm going with.
40:41So Grant, you're up next. Who do you like to score in this game?
40:45A 49ers wide receiver that they're, it's like their eighth wide receiver this year that has had to come in for injury because everyone keeps getting injured.
40:54They got lost another one last week in Debo Samuel.
40:57Evans, again, probably just won't practice all week for pain management and then come in and score.
41:02But his odds are no longer plus 200. They're now down to minus money.
41:07So I'm going with Braden Cooks. He scored one last week.
41:10He should be out there a decent amount. This offense is going to score points.
41:15It always does regardless of who's in there. And plus 245 is just a little bit too high for what could be,
41:22honestly, the third receiving target in this offense who knows what they're going to end up doing.
41:27But I think Cooks is probably the most likely suspect and those odds are just a bit too high.
41:33Yeah, in the 49ers offense, he's probably getting boosted up to a wide receiver too.
41:38So I love that spot here. Kerner, who are you going with this game for Commanders 49ers?
41:43Yeah, I'm going to go with Antonio Williams at plus 350.
41:47Diggs still hasn't returned to practice yet. So I think there's a good chance he's held out again.
41:52And Williams had, you know, 77% routes run right last week.
41:56Would expect it to be just as high if Diggs is out again, especially in what should be a trailing game script.
42:03But Williams, he just gives me Amon Ra vibes who he also wears number 14.
42:07And apparently offensive coordinator David Blau kind of wanted them to draft him in the third round to be kind of the Amon Ra in his offense.
42:16And if you remember, Blau was the backup quarterback, Amon Ra's rookie season.
42:20So I just want to keep investing in this guy before the market catches on, especially in a game where Diggs might be out.
42:28I think he could have a breakout game here on Monday Night Football.
42:32All right. So when you put those three guys together, that's Bill, Brandon Cooks, Antonio Williams.
42:37It's around 40 to 1 right now to parlay those three touchdown scores for Monday Night Football.
42:42So I love that spot. Bill, Brandon, Antonio Williams.
42:45Let's go. All right, guys, before we get out of here, let's give our favorite touchdown scores for week six in the NFL presented by DraftKings.
42:53It could be from any game in week six and we're going to parlay them together over on DraftKings.
42:59We hit our parlay last week at 34 to 1.
43:02Let's see if we can do it again. Kerner, you're up first.
43:06Who do you like this week? I'm going to go with the guy that you gave out one of your games, Afton Chisholm at plus 360.
43:14Saw a huge boost in playing time with Matt Hollins out.
43:18Matt Hollins is on IR, so I'm expecting him to, you know, be pretty much the wide receiver too, assuming A.J.
43:24Brown is held out again this week. I cashed on his touchdown last year.
43:29I had him like 12 to 1. Anytime this guy gets remotely any playing time, I want to be in on him.
43:36He made that amazing go-ahead touchdown, that one-handed catch against the Bills.
43:39I think this guy's sneaky good. Should see plenty of playing time and targets here against the Jets.
43:45I'm projecting this closer to plus 260, assuming A.J.
43:48Brown is out, so I want to lock it in here at plus 360.
43:52Yeah, and that touchdown that he scored last year against the Jets, who they're playing this week.
43:58Nice. All right, so Afton Chisholm is the first leg.
44:01Grant, what is your favorite touchdown score for week six?
44:04I don't care that Jalen Hurts isn't in. I'm going Dallas Goddard is my favorite, plus 295.
44:09Again, just absurd odds for a guy who has 14 touchdowns since the beginning of last season, 13 touchdowns since the beginning of last season.
44:17Guy has been a touchdown machine. Again, without Jalen Hurts in there, could get the push-push.
44:22McKee, the one game he played with him the last two years, he targeted him a decent amount.
44:28This offense is likely going to have to throw to him a bit more without potentially Devonta Smith or without potentially Saquon or without both.
44:36So Goddard, plus 295. Love it. All right, so Chisholm, Goddard, I'm going to take one of the legs that we used for last week's parlay.
44:44That is Isaiah likely to score a touchdown against that Saints defense.
44:48We've been all waiting for the likely breakout. We're finally seeing it now with James Winston at quarterback.
44:53I think he's just going to keep the good vibes rolling, so I'm going to round out this parlay with Isaiah likely.
45:00And right now at DraftKings, if you parlay Efton Chisholm, Dallas Goddard, and Isaiah likely, that comes out to around 44-1 at DraftKings.
45:08So those are our favorite touchdown scores of the week presented by DraftKings.
