Matt Kelley suggests that Chuba Hubbard has elevated his status to an elite running back, noting that he is one of the few staying healthy.

Insight page
PositiveValue33:41

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveUsage30:55

Dalton Kincaid is a major buy because his route participation has exceeded 65% in both games this season, a significant increase from his 62% peak last year, and he is tethered to an elite Josh Allen-led offense.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue25:25

Matt Kelley identifies Dalton Schultz as a locked-in starter, advising listeners to start him over any alternative options.

Insight page

Drake London

Insight page

Drew Lock

PositiveProjection26:52

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveProjection0:19

Matt Kelley is betting the over on Geno Smith's passing yards for Week 3 against the Lions, citing it as an easy play on PrizePicks.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup9:49

Matt Kelley is targeting Geno Smith for PrizePix entries in Week 3 against the Lions, specifically betting the over on his passing yards.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveValue25:25

Matt Kelley identifies Jalen Coker as a locked-in starter, advising listeners to start him over any alternative options.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeValue21:41

Matt Kelley notes that Jeremiah Love's production has been disappointing and he is ranked below consensus on PlayerProfiler due to both a high ankle sprain and a poor team situation involving Tyler Allgeier and the offensive environment.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeProjection44:25

Matt Kelley views Jonah Coleman as a player who provides similar production to JK Dobbins but benefited from a touchdown and injuries to both Dobbins and Harvey. Kelley advises against dropping Coleman, as he has now emerged as a starter in the Denver backfield.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeInjury34:32

Matt Kelley notes that Jonathan Brooks is currently injured and highlights him as having one of the most fragile lifetime value ratings in dynasty leagues entering the season.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeBust13:53

Matt Kelley expresses extreme frustration with Justin Herbert's performance, calling his recent play a 'face plant' and apologizing for recommending him as a starter. Despite his past production, Kelley is deeply concerned about the current Chargers offense.

Insight page
NegativeProjection57:43

Matt Kelley expresses significant concern regarding Justin Herbert, citing his 25th-place ranking in fantasy points per dropback and a lack of 16-point fantasy performances over his last 10 games. Kelley attributes these struggles to poor coaching and a dysfunctional offensive environment.

Insight page
NegativeRole60:57

Matt Kelley argues that after reviewing Justin Herbert's career and supporting cast, there are no external factors left to blame for his performance, placing the onus on head coach Jim Harbaugh to improve his coaching approach.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveUsage25:48

Matt Kelley notes that Juwan Johnson was a strong play for the week and was nearly productive enough to reach 16 fantasy points.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection62:29

Matt Kelley expresses concern regarding the Falcons' offense, noting that despite the presence of high-end talent like Kyle Pitts, the team is hindered by poor quarterback play.

Insight page

Kyle Williams

PositiveUsage29:52

Matt Kelley notes that Kyle Williams is seeing the field more, recording two targets this week.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeRole29:36

Matt Kelley projects Marshawn Lloyd to settle into a 'pumped up satellite back' role, which he believes complements Caleb Johnson's early-down grinder role in the Packers' backfield.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeBust3:51

Matt Kelley labels Marvin Harrison Jr. the most embarrassing player in the NFL, noting he has zero catches through two games and a dismal 6.9% targets per route run rate. Kelley advises selling him in dynasty and dropping him in redraft leagues.

Insight page

Nicholas Singleton

PositiveBreakout45:25

Matt Kelley identifies Nicholas Singleton as the next running back to emerge in the Titans' backfield. Despite limited usage in week one, Kelley suggests it is only a matter of time before Singleton sees increased opportunity, especially given the team's struggles.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveBreakout5:32

Matt Kelley considers Parker Washington an elite asset, highlighting his 36.7% target share over the first two games of 2026. Kelley insists he is a must-start and should be prioritized over other options.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeUsage42:45

Matt Kelley expresses a long-standing dislike for Rhamondre Stevenson, citing his fumbling issues and the team's tendency to punish him with reduced playing time. Stevenson saw only a 36% snap share compared to Henderson's 60%, with most of Stevenson's work relegated to third downs.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveUsage29:52

Matt Kelley highlights Roman Wilson as a target conservation play with upside, noting he saw six targets and increased field time.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeUsage38:46

Matt Kelley argues Tank Bigsby has limited dynasty value because he is not a pass-catcher and functions only as a between-the-tackles grinder, noting his low 17% route participation rate.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeDepth Chart46:03

Matt Kelley labels Tony Pollard as the number one trade candidate among NFL running backs, suggesting the Titans should move on from him given their 0-2 start and the emergence of younger options.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

PositiveBreakout42:16

Matt Kelley identifies Trevion Henderson as a major riser after he took over the backfield following a Rhamondre Stevenson fumble. Kelley praises Henderson's explosiveness and notes that he ran more routes and took significantly more carries than Stevenson, arguing that Henderson is the superior player for generating explosive plays.

Insight page

Trey Lance

NegativeBust55:54

Matt Kelley advises that fantasy managers can now drop Trey Lance in superflex and two-QB dynasty leagues, as he no longer views him as a viable fantasy asset even if he were to see the field.

Insight page

Tyson Bagent

PositiveValue42:03

Matt Kelley considers Tyson Bagent the best backup quarterback in the NFL, ranking him above Drew Lock, Mac Jones, Jameis Winston, and Marcus Mariota. Kelley highlights Bagent's impressive college stats at Shepherd (4,500 yards, 41 TDs in 2022) and his athleticism, suggesting he is a high-upside streamer who will eventually earn a starting job.

Insight page

Will Shipley

PositiveSleeper38:24

Matt Kelley highlights Will Shipley as a deep-league stash because he possesses the size and pass-catching skill set desired for fantasy, and he saw 57% route participation in week two.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper41:34

Matt Kelley argues that Will Shipley must be rostered in deep dynasty leagues with large benches, noting that Saquon Barkley is nearing 30 and Tank Bigsby is merely a 'cardboard cutout grinder.' Kelley admits to having to drop Shipley in some leagues due to roster crunches but is actively looking to re-add him.

1:13We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months.
1:17We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
1:20And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you got Bijan, you got Kyle Pitts, you got Drake London.
1:26But you got two bad left-handed quarterbacks. And you certainly don't need to be tailing some fake betting expert on social media.
1:33Go to MyBookie and find the plays you already know you like and take a shot.
1:38That's what's cool about MyBookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off.

2:08Bet on anything, anytime, anywhere. You're welcome. This is All-American Stud, Jonathan Taylor.
2:12I'm melting faces in the NFL and you're listening to the best in the business.
2:17My man, the podfather. He knows things. Top 10 takeaways.
2:20Off we go. There's a lot to talk about from week two.
2:24Most of it was bad. I have usage reports and observations and failures and successes.
2:28And we'll start with the failures. Not my failure.
2:31The failure of a particular player. The most embarrassing player in the NFL right now has to be Marvin Harrison Jr.
2:38I don't know what's going on with him. I can't explain it.
2:41It doesn't make any sense. This guy was a top five pick.
2:45This guy was very productive in college, competing with players like Jackson Smith and Jigba and Mecca Egbuka.
2:50And he was still productive. How is this possible?
2:53I don't know. What I do know is that Marvin Harrison Jr.
2:57being the junior of Marvin Harrison Sr. is not a good thing.
3:00It is a bad thing. He was clearly someone who was born on third base and has not needed to work so
3:07hard that he is sacrificing everything to be a professional in the league.
3:11Caleb Williams has been talking about how he has moved in that direction with his life, that he has dedicated his life completely to football.
3:19That he now lives in the facility. We know that there is a particular wide receiver who has been living in the
3:26facility in Jacksonville, and we're going to get to him later.
3:29And these are the two opposite ends of the spectrum.
3:32You have Parker Washington way over there, and you have Marvin Harrison Jr.
3:36way over there. And those people were very wrong.
3:39They were as wrong as anyone has ever been about anything.
3:42We're drafting Marvin Harrison Jr. over Parker Washington this year.
3:45Now, eventually, as the summer went along, the ADP disparity between Parker Washington and Marvin Harrison Jr.
3:50expanded, and it became if you wanted Marvin Harrison Jr., you didn't need to draft him in the same zone as Parker Washington.
3:57But there was a time. There was a time earlier in the year when Parker Washington was being drafted after Marvin Harrison Jr.
4:04And it's just interesting because that is the definition of the polar opposite player.
4:09And there's just some funny observations. Like, there was a wide receiver, Dijon Love, right?
4:13Dijon Love. Who do you think had more catches last week?
4:17Dijon Love or Marvin Harrison Jr.? They tied. They tied.
4:20If you're wondering, if you thought, oh no, Marvin Harrison Jr.
4:23must have had more catches than Dijon Love, well, you'd be wrong.
4:27They tied. They both had zero catches. So zero catches for Dijon Love, zero catches for Marvin Harrison Jr.
4:33And he is a player that you need to find a way to get out of.
4:37I mean, we talked about it last week. Just buy low, sell low, buy high, sell high.
4:43Who are those players? The clear sell low is Marvin Harrison Jr.
4:46I have Marvin Harrison Jr. in a league where I have Michael Wilson, and I could not get rid of him.
4:53For some reason in this one league, I have Marvin Harrison Jr., and I'm now glad I do because we're all going
4:59to learn together what I can get for him at this point.
5:03I could have just went to the Jalen Coker owners, hey, straight up, at any time this summer, hey, give me Coker, I'll give you Harrison.
5:11I'm sure they would have done it. But for whatever reason, I was trying to get more.
5:16I was trying to get full value from Marvin Harrison Jr.
5:20And in this one league, no one was biting.
5:22And then the summer expired on me. The season started, and suddenly Marvin Harrison Jr.
5:27has been targeted on 6.9% of his routes. 6.9% targets per route run.
5:31What? Like, what? I could go by it. It's just hard to believe.
5:35It's hard to believe. And, you know, on Twitter, we have a little video I posted.
5:40I've posted it multiple times. It's just because it deserves to be played multiple times.
5:44And it's just Marvin Harrison Jr., week one. He had a catch in week one.
5:49It was a long catch. I don't know how he did it.
5:53But you could just watch him going through the motions.
5:56And this is what he's doing. Will the light ever come on?
5:59I don't think so. If this were a different position, maybe, right?
6:03If it were a different position, maybe the light would come on.
6:07Maybe. But I just don't think so. I don't think the light's going to come on at all for this guy.
6:13If it were the running back position, we've seen that many times where a running back was just not quite putting in the work.
6:21We didn't have the right approach. We saw this with DeAndre Swift in Detroit.
6:25The coaches were done. They were like, listen, this guy does not have the right mentality.
6:30And Ben Johnson's like, I don't know. He seems pretty talented to me.
6:34I think I can figure him. I think I can get through to him.
6:38I think we can figure it out. And then we'll talk about this later.
6:42There are running backs that it's not about the mentality.
6:45It's just about they've made mistakes, especially if you ask them to do things that they weren't doing in college.
6:51Like the Pittsburgh Steelers were asking Caleb Johnson to play on special teams.
6:55And he was like a bell cow back at Iowa.
6:58Why are you asking this guy to play on special teams?
7:02It makes no sense. Why would you do that?
7:05And then he makes mistakes. And then he makes mistakes and he spirals.
7:09And the coaching staff punishes him and pulls all his playing time.
7:12And he was like, I was done. And we'll talk about that in a little bit.
7:17We'll talk about Caleb Johnson later in the show.
7:20We've got a lot to talk about today. Quote from Matt LaFleur, Mike LaFleur.
7:24Talking about Marvin Harrison Jr. One catch in two games.
7:27He says, I'm not concerned. Come on, Mike. Come on.
7:30What are we doing, Mike? Not concerned? Come on, man.
7:33Really? When the season starts, this is a takeaway, but it doesn't count against the top 10 takeaways because this week we have 10 takeaways.
7:41We have exactly 10 takeaways. Takeaway number one is Marvin Harrison Jr.
7:45Is a sell low in Dynasty and he is a drop in redraft.
7:49So if you drafted him in a seasonal league, drop him.
7:52He's useless. He'll never have value. It's all going to consolidate around Michael Wilson and Trey McBride.
7:57If anything, Trey McBride is a sell because it's only going to get worse for Trey McBride.
8:02It can't get any better. Carson Beck is eventually going to be the quarterback there in Arizona.
8:08Arizona was exposed. They are what we thought they were, which is apropos because that was Dennis Green, I believe, speaking as
8:14the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals many, many years ago.
8:18They are what we thought they were and the Chargers are not what we thought they were.
8:23Cardinals are what we thought they were. Chargers, not what we thought they were.
8:27And if anyone's wondering why I'm wearing these South Beach sunglasses, these are my cheap version of the Mike McDaniels.
8:33We'll get into it. That's certainly going to be one of my takeaways today is going to be involving Justin Herbert and the Chargers.
8:41I'm very frustrated with what's happening in Los Angeles.
8:43It's worse than I could have possibly imagined. Marvin Harrison Jr.
8:47face planning doesn't give me nearly as much pleasure as Justin Herbert face planning gives me pain.
8:52The Justin Herbert face plant is so much more painful.
8:55I mean, I said stardom this week, right? Plays of the Week.
8:59Come out on Friday. Patreon.com slash podfather. Sign up for the player profile or newsletter on playerprofile.com.
9:04Just scroll down on playerprofile.com. Get your email in there.
9:07Get the newsletter. Fab guidance every week. It's a lot of good content.
9:11Except start Justin Herbert. I was like, it's the Raiders.
9:14How bad could it be? Oh, I know. Way, way worse than you could possibly imagine.
9:19Way worse. So I want to apologize. I would apologize to everyone for where we've had Justin Herbert ranked.
9:25I want to apologize to everyone for recommending starting him.
9:28Now, I know everybody recommended starting him against Vegas.
9:31Of course. I mean, hey, put it in the chat.
9:34If you're watching live, put it in the chat.
9:36Did you tell your friends to bench Justin Herbert this week?
9:40If so, we'll give you a little shout out.
9:42We'll add a boy if you did that. Football is finally back and PrizePix is bringing out their best offer yet.
9:49New users who sign up will get $150 in lineups if you win your first $5 lineup.

11:44No questions asked. Football is finally here. Get in now and cash in on the season with MyBookie with promo code PLAYER to get that BetBack bonus.
11:52Bet on anything, anytime, anywhere. You're welcome. Hard to believe, though.
11:56Hard to believe anyone would do that. Justin Herbert, as a rookie in 2020, put up 23 fantasy points per game.
12:02As a second-year player in 2021, Justin Herbert put up more than 23 fantasy points per game.
12:075,000 passing yards. Both of those seasons, more than 200 rushing yards.
12:11Eight total rushing touchdowns. This is Josh Allen Light.
12:14The talent profile of Justin Herbert is Josh Allen Light.
12:17And I was told that with the unbeatable combination of Mike McDaniel and Jim Harbaugh that this was the great unlock.
12:23And all the stability, right? All the stability, all the continuity, the offensive line, everything.
12:28Ugh. We'll get into it. I'm not even ready to talk about it.
12:32I still... I'm just... It's certainly going to be a focal point of this show, the Chargers.
12:37As you can tell by these sunglasses, these just douchey sunglasses.
12:40I may just wear these sunglasses all year. I love wearing them.
12:44They're great. You'd also see if you're watching live, we have new lighting.
12:48We are going with the Podzilla lighting, right? So if you're familiar with Coffeezilla at all, he's always in the shadows with a light cutting across his face.
12:57This is... We invented this on the Starter Stream show with Chuck.
13:00The Starter Stream show is so much fun. Sunday's live, 9 a.m.
13:04Chuck and I have a great time. We had like 2,000 people live this Sunday morning.
13:09It was fantastic. I went back and looked and it turned out we actually gave better advice than I thought.
13:15I was like, there's no way, right? Because week two is problematic on a lot of levels.
13:20I don't like to put a lot at stake in week two.
13:24It's the week I do the least amount of betting, the least amount of DFS because it's a conundrum to know how
13:31much from week one do you factor into your projections for week two.
13:35You had this teeny tiny sample that's much more relevant week one and you had this huge sample that's less relevant from 2025.
13:42So, week one, 2026 versus all of 2025. How do you weight those two data sets?
13:47That has never been solved. That question has never actually been fully answered and therefore I always say we said this on
13:53the starter stream show week two is by far and away the most difficult to figure out.
13:59It's the most difficult to do starter sit questions.
14:01It's the one week where I don't take nearly as much to heart.
14:05If I fail, if I start the wrong guy, whatever it is, make the wrong bets in week two.
14:11You can all, everyone out there, just don't loathe yourself at all.
14:15No self-loathing about week two. Week two is impossible.
14:17Just wind back your exposure to week two and move on to week three.
14:22That's the advice from now and forever. Week two of the NFL.
14:25It is the most difficult set of games to decode in all of sports easily.
14:30But I am proud to say that we shouted down everybody in the comments who was even daring to ask whether they should start Parker Washington.
14:38We are retiring the Parker Washington start-sit question. Well, we did retire.
14:42It was retired. That question was retired Sunday morning.
14:44No Parker Washington start-sits ever again. He is elite.
14:47The question is, do I start Parker Washington or player X?
14:51It's always Parker Washington. Now and forever. Just, we'll know forever week two is the most impossible to predict in the NFL
14:57and that Parker Washington is the easiest player to predict.
15:00He had a 36.7% target share in 2026. Two games, 36.7% target.
15:04It's perfect. It's actually perfect. You have the true alpha in Parker Washington and you have Brian Thomas stretching the field and
15:11you have Jacoby Myers underneath and Brenton Strange up the scene.
15:14It's the perfect talent configuration for Trevor Lawrence. It sets up Jacksonville nicely for the whole season for that passing game to thrive all season.
15:22We also said don't come to us with any questions about Dalton Schultz, Devon Vele, or Jalen Coker.
15:27If it's Jalen Coker or Player X, Devon Vele or Player X, or Dalton Schultz or Player X, the answer is Schultz, Vele, Coker.
15:35Every time. No more of those questions either. We said no to all those questions.
15:39We said at the beginning of the show, get this out of the way.
15:43You're starting Schultz, Vele, and Coker. Locks, right? Now in the Plays of the Week show we talked about on Friday, Juwan
15:50Johnson was a strong play this week. He was a whisker away from 16 fantasy points.
15:55I didn't see Schultz score on that quarterback sneak.
15:58I don't know what you saw. I don't know what the refs saw.
16:02I don't know what Schultz saw. I didn't see the football across the plane.
16:06Let me know in the comments, do you think he scored?
16:09I don't think he did. I don't think he did.
16:12The desperation streamer at quarterback we talked about went all the way out to Drew Locke and Drew Locke delivered.
16:19Drew Locke is pretty good. Pretty good. Right? He's in a great system.
16:23He's got the best wide receiver in the league in Jackson Smith and Jigba.
16:27So if you're well supported by a top five offensive line and let's say a top three wide receiver, if you're in
16:34that nest, nestled into that nest, if you have a strong arm and any kind of accuracy whatsoever, you are going to be successful as a quarterback.
16:42And when the matchup is right, like you're playing Arizona, you're going to go up, throw for three touchdowns.
16:48And that's what Drew Locke did. And sadly, there was a league where I did not look at my start sits because
16:54I took over 20 orphans in 20 days and I did not check all of my lineups in time.
17:00And unfortunately, I had started on, it's one of these teams that's really struggling, but I did end up getting Drew Locke
17:07on waivers in Superflex, thankfully, in a lot of leagues.
17:10I overbid in some of these leagues. I was like, I think Drew Locke in this situation is going to be nice.
17:17And sure enough, I had accidentally locked in, Isaac Tesla in the Superflex spot from the previous week.
17:22So I want to make sure I shared that.
17:25There's just some things that happen to you when you have too much going on.
17:30If any of you are frustrated because, hey, I was late updating this and I lost my matchup.
17:35It happens to all of us. It happened to me this week.
17:39Not able to get Drew Locke in on time, unfortunately.
17:42I will do better. We can all do better.
17:45We can all do better managing our myriad of teams.
17:48In terms of target conservation, we had a couple target conservation plays with some upside.
17:52Roman Wilson this week, Kyle Williams. Kyle Williams had two targets, so that is encouraging.
17:57He's seeing the field more. Roman Wilson, six targets.
18:00He's seeing the field more. And we just had the most hilarious set of running backs.
18:04In terms of sleeper running backs, we had Janarian Price, J.K.
18:08Dobbins, Aaron Jones, and Tajay Spears. They were all hurt.
18:11All four. What are the odds? What are the odds?
18:14Even the running backs we touted the previous week, like Rico Dowdle, he hurt his toe.
18:19That was one of the themes so far this season.
18:22Again, just like last year, the elite running backs are staying healthy.
18:26But if you're not an elite running back, and apparently Chuba Hubbard is now an elite running back, we'll talk about that later, you're going to get hurt.
18:34Every non-elite running back is finding a way to running.
18:37The one desperation streamer that we put in there running back was Tajay Spears.
18:41And before he went out, I thought Tajay Spears looked phenomenal.
18:45He is electric. I mean, he converted a fourth quarter, third and 22, just somehow tiptoeing along the sideline.
18:51Now, that would have sealed the game, but it's the Titans.
18:54But it is the Titans. And he left the game, and suddenly we saw a little bit of Nicholas Angleton is going
19:01to be this week's week three, Jonah Coleman. But we'll get into that later.
19:05We are going to get into that later. So yeah, stud running back staying healthy, every other running back getting hurt, stud wide receivers, not so lucky, right?
19:14No Zay Flowers, no Nico Collins. Now, Monday night, Puka Nakua, Adam Schefter's saying he's on the wrong side of questionable.
19:20Schefter is rarely wrong, but I don't know. I don't know what is going on, okay?
19:25I have lost any ability to reasonably talk about, predict injuries in the NFL.
19:29I can't do it. I can't do it. I won't do it anymore.
19:33I'm not going to do it. I can't do it.
19:36There's just too much smoke and too many mirrors.
19:39I can't do it. Caleb Williams limps to the sideline, is helped off by four trainers, is put on a cart, is
19:46crying, puts a towel over his head, waves to the crowd through tears.
19:50And I'm like, well, it looked like a hamstring.
19:52He went back and reached back as if it was a hamstring injury, but man, every injury I've ever seen, that's the
19:59reaction of someone that pops their Achilles. So my head's saying one thing, my heart's saying an axe.
20:05I go to Twitter, I'm like, yeah, my head's saying it was a hamstring, but my heart tells me it might be an Achilles.
20:12I don't know. And I'm talking to Matty Kiewum on the phone at the time, and I'm like, should I send this tweet?
20:19I mean, this is what I'm thinking. He's like, that's a great tweet, send it.
20:24But while I was typing it, Schefter comes out and says it's a hamstring, so I end up hitting send, and then
20:30everyone on Twitter is coming back at me saying, well, it's Schefter already, it's already a hamstring.
20:36What's wrong with you? It's already been talked about.
20:38This is old news. It's a hamstring injury. What are you doing?
20:42Stale content from the podfather. I'm like, okay, okay, I can't do this.
20:46I can't keep up. I don't know what's happening.
20:49The next thing you hear is that it's mild and he might play week three.
20:53And I'm like, did I just see that? There was a prayer circle for Ashton Gentty, and he was fine for week one, right?
21:01I saw Jeremiah Love's foot turn the wrong direction, and he played week one.
21:05Now, that was a high ankle sprain, and if you've been happy with the Jeremiah Love production thus far, well, you're the only one.
21:12So, I am undefeated because high ankle sprains are undefeated.
21:15It's not a high ankle sprain, it's a high ankle fucked.
21:19Anytime I hear a high ankle sprain, and you go to the player profile rankings, subscribe today, you're going to see a player who is ranked below consensus.
21:27Just like with Jeremiah Love, it wasn't just about the high ankle sprain, it was also about just the situation.
21:33Tyler Algier, the offense, the eventual Carson Beck, and no one that drafted Jeremiah Love is happy.
21:39But I'm not going to talk about it anymore.
21:41I'm not going to talk about it because I'm only disappointed in myself.
21:45When I look back at these takes, I'm like, well, I guess I don't know what I'm talking about.
21:51I didn't think Jeremiah Love would play week one.
21:54I didn't see how that was possible, and then he was out there.
21:58Now, the question is, should he have been out there?
22:01The answer is no. He should not have been out there.
22:04But I don't run these teams. I don't consult these players.
22:08And therefore, what I think doesn't matter. So I am not, and we also have, we've met, we have Maddox.
22:14We have, we have, we have Maddox is now on board at Player Profiler.
22:18We have a, a, a, a physical therapist, a licensed physical therapist who knows, who knows the nuances of injuries very well.
22:25And he has articles up on playerprofile.com and he's been doing a great job tweeting.
22:29And so he's a guy where I'm like, all right, like, let's just let Maddox tell us what we need to know.
22:36Okay. Maddox McLeod at McLeod Maddox at McLeod M-A-D-D-O-X on Twitter X.
22:40And I'm just going to let him analyze these injuries.
22:43And I'm going to keep my mouth shut because I'm officially embarrassed.
22:47I'm embarrassed. It was the last straw, the towel on the head, the cart, the crying, and then he's questionable for week three.
22:54I'm done. Done. I can't, I can't do it anymore.
22:57What I'm seeing doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. What any observation doesn't matter.
23:01We have no idea what's going on with these players, bodies, their health, their status.
23:05So I'm going to let Schefter and Maddox, I'm going to let them handle it.
23:10Oh, oh, I was, I felt betrayed. I mean, happy.
23:13I have a bunch of Kayla Williams. I also have a bunch of Tyson Badgeant.
23:17We'll talk about Tyson Badgeant later. So I was happy.
23:20I was sad. And then I was happy, right?
23:23I was sad. And then I was happy. So then if you're sad and then you're happy, you should be happy, right?
23:30You were sad. You felt the sadness. Now you feel the happiness.
23:34And now you should be really, I'm not happy because I don't like that.
23:38I can't figure anything out. I don't like that.
23:41I don't like how frustrating it is to try to guess what the severity of these injuries are and when they're going to be back.
23:48And so I'm not going to do it anymore.
23:51And you all probably like, thank, thank you. Like focus on anything else other than injuries.
23:56You're not good at predicting injury recovery. You're good at a lot of other things.
24:01Stick to what you're good at. And I agree.
24:03I agree. How about, am I good at speaking out against things like coach worship, right?
24:08People like Mike McDaniel calling them overrated. That's, that's a skill.
24:12I have predicting injury recovery, not a skill. And I won't do it again.
24:16I'm done. I'm totally retired. I mean, I come from a different era.
24:20Okay. I come from a different era. That's the problem, right?
24:23I come from a different era where guys are not being helped off by three trainers and put in a card immediately and crying into a towel.
24:31And then you find out they're actually questionable for the next week.
24:35I come from the era where Ronnie Lott cut off his own finger to keep playing.
24:40That's a thing that happened. Ronnie Lott has half a pinky finger because he didn't want to come out of the game.
24:47That's, that's the era I come from. I'm clearly a boomer.
24:50I'm a Gen Xer masquerading as a boomer. And so I look at what's happening in today's NFL.
24:56I look at what happened with, with, with, with Caleb Williams.
24:59And I'm like, I don't understand this. This is a foreign concept to me.
25:03So I'm not even going to try to figure it out anymore.
25:07Right? Like I, I am an injury recovery and playing status dinosaur.
25:11And you know, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna get every time I think it's minor, like stripling, right?
25:16Stripling, nothing happened, but he was running around and then it looked like he kind of sprained his ankle a little bit.
25:23Like he landed a little bit wrong. And then he kind of limped off.
25:27I was like, Oh yeah, there goes the swindle.
25:30Didn't think this was a major injury. Wasn't that concerned?
25:33And then all of a sudden he's out 10 weeks.
25:36He's on IR. Okay. Sorry. God. Yeah. So I'm on the wrong side of every injury prediction.
25:41So that's it. That's it. But, but, but you will know now and forever that when you go to the rankings on
25:48player profiler, if a player has had a high ankle sprain that we will be behind consensus on that player, because that,
25:55that right there is something you can set your watch by.
25:58Okay. Caleb Johnson. Let's talk about Caleb Johnson because Caleb Johnson was a monster, an absolute monster at Iowa.
26:04Okay. We're talking about close to a 50% college dominator.
26:07Anyone that saw him at Iowa thinks this guy's good at football.
26:11And then the people that follow the Steelers are like, this guy stinks at football.
26:15And I'm like, well, how can he be good and bad at football?
26:19And then the beauty is because it's the off season, right?
26:23In season, no coach will give you a straight answer about anything, right?
26:27Think about what LaFleur, like LaFleur giving us nothing, right?
26:30LaFleur just lying to our face about Marvin Harrison Jr.
26:33Just lying. Thanks, Mike. Good job. Appreciate it. Keep, keep talking.
26:36Good. Good. But once the season starts, you're not going to get a single truthful syllable from a coach, player, anybody.
26:43The off season, though, some of these guys, they tell the truth.
26:46There's a little bit of truth telling there in the off season.
26:50Absolutely. So we have, uh, you have a little, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to play this video that I found from one Caleb Johnson.
26:59I'm going to pull this up on the screen here.
27:02And he will tell you in his own words, what happened in Pittsburgh, go pack, go, go pack, go.
27:07That's what he had mental errors on special teams and it killed him.
27:11And it, it, it ruined his reputation among his teammates and his coaches inappropriately.
27:16Like they let a valuable running back asset walk out the door.
27:19And now the Packers have him. And if you look up like, wait, this guy led all Packers running backs and carries.
27:26Now he didn't lead them in snaps 14 snaps for Caleb Johnson, 14 snaps for Marshawn Lloyd, 22 steps for Chris Brooks.
27:33Chris Brooks is the, is the passing down specialist trying to come back.
27:37He's in their past blocking. He's the trusted guy in past blocking situations.
27:41And they need a guy like Chris Brooks in there because the Packers have the stone worst offensive line in the league.
27:48And look at Dan Fornick puts the offensive line rankings.
27:51He's one of the best offensive line analysts out there.
27:54The offensive line rankings on player profiler. Don't lie.
27:56The start of the season Packers ranked 30. Now they're ranked 32nd.
28:00This offensive line is a huge problem for Jordan Love.
28:03It's a huge plot. It's a massive problem. It's not a huge, it's a massive problem for all the running backs.
28:10This is why Marshawn Lloyd, like he bubbled up a little bit.
28:13Like Marshawn Lloyd was up in that RJ Harvey zone of the dynasty rankings coming down, coming down.
28:19Caleb Johnson though, Caleb Johnson going up. Caleb Johnson's moving up because they're like, Hey, we have a real running back.
28:25We have a real bell cow style back that can handle first and second down at the NFL level.
28:31He's only going to gain confidence. He's only going to get better.
28:35He is the ultimate buy right now. You've got to get Caleb Johnson right now, right?
28:40You're going to see it. We check the dynasty rankings in a day or two.
28:44Again, we update the dynasty rankings every week, multiple times per week.
28:48And Caleb Johnson's going to move up the most of anybody just in terms of slots moved up.
28:53No one's going to move up more this week than Caleb Johnson.
28:57I'm telling you that right now. I say that from a dynasty perspective because this entire backfield is going to be useless
29:04all year for redraft and seasonal leagues. Just walk away.
29:07Just walk away. The offensive line is going to make it impossible for any of these guys to get going.
29:13Caleb Johnson might have a couple of weeks when Josh Jacobs returns.
29:17He's going to have a couple of weeks. Otherwise, it's going to be too frustrating because of the offensive line.
29:23Give this team another year to revamp the offensive line and remodel it in the offseason.
29:28Then Caleb Johnson could be very interesting. Josh Jacobs is a liability for this team, a PR liability.
29:33He's going to be gone. They gave Marshawn Lloyd a shot.
29:36He's probably more of like a pumped up satellite back.
29:39I think Marshawn Lloyd in a pumped up satellite back role with Caleb Johnson in the early down grinder role is perfect.
29:46But ultimately, that means that there's going to be a shift over time where Caleb Johnson is eventually going to move ahead
29:53of Marshawn Lloyd in the dynasty rankings. Watch out for that.
29:56We're three takeaways in. That's three takeaways. Right. So the three takeaways so far, Marvin Harrison Jr.
30:02is a cell low again, playing the hits there.
30:04Right. Every non-stud running back is getting hurt. I don't know anything about injury recovery and when players will be back or not.
30:11And Caleb Johnson is not dead yet. That's where we're at.
30:15That's where we're at so far. We're a half an hour in and we have three takeaways.
30:20So if we project this out, this is going to be more than an hour and a half show.
30:26Every other takeaway show is about 20 to 30 minutes.
30:29So if you listen to podcast, fantasy podcast, that's what that's that's about what it is.
30:34So I don't know what to tell you. This is a different kind of show.
30:38This is this is not your this is not your father's top 10 takeaway show.
30:43This is this is the pod father's top 10 takeaway show.
30:46And it's it's what I want it to be.
30:49All right. So just just you love it. You hate it.
30:52Whatever. It's what it is. OK. So Dalton Kincaid.
30:55Dalton Kincaid is giving us what we wanted from Colston Loveland.
30:58We wanted from Brock Bowers. We're getting from Dalton Kincaid.
31:01Dalton Kincaid was one of those guys just kept rising throughout the summer.
31:05Rising, rising, rising, where if you had the draft kit, you noticed, oh, wait, after the big six, right after, let's say,
31:12Kraft and Laporta, there was Dalton Kincaid. The upside in this offense, a Josh Allen offense and Josh Allen is by far
31:19and away the most efficient just by EPA and every metric, every efficiency metric that you have.
31:24Josh Allen's number one. I love the bills to win the Super Bowl this year just because Josh Allen is going to win a Super Bowl.
31:32They have the new stadium. Everything feels like it's driving towards a Josh Allen Super Bowl this year and Dalton Kincaid is
31:39going to be a key part of that. So I'm happy for Josh Allen.
31:43I will say the second most efficient quarterback in the league.
31:46Anyone guess? Put it in the comments. Anyone? Shout it.
31:50If you're in your car listening to the podcast, say it out loud.
31:53The second most efficient quarterback in the NFL. You look at passing, rushing, everything.
31:58It is Brock Purdy by a number of metrics.
32:01EPA, many metrics. It's going to be Brock Purdy.
32:03Just that's not a takeaway. That's a that's a you know what?
32:07That is a takeaway, but it's a bonus. It's a bonus takeaway.
32:11So we are going over 10 again. We'll never be at 10 takeaways because just right.
32:16I did it again. I'm I screwed up the show.
32:19I thought we have a new we have a new producer, Justin.
32:22He's getting he's getting his feet wet today. He's behind the scenes.
32:26He's putting things up on the screen. He's helping me stay organized.
32:30And I told him we're going to stick to you.
32:33You arrived at top 10 takeaways at the exact right time.
32:36And by the way, if you want to be a producer, if you want to write for player profiler, podfather at roto wonderworld.com.
32:43We're here for you. Join the team. We're having a great time.
32:47And I told him we're going to stick to 10 takeaways today until we don't.
32:51And we did what I'll say about Dalton Kincaid is he's simply running a lot more routes.
32:56He's just more involved. His route participation has been more than 65 percent both games this year.
33:02His best game last year, his highest route participation rate was like 62 percent last year.
33:07So already he's being used in a much more expansive way.
33:10And he has like Sam Laporta, Tyler Warren level talent.
33:13He's a first round tight end tethered to the most efficient quarterback in the league.
33:18And the number one wide receiver on this team is DJ Moore, right?
33:22Whether it's you just want to chase the efficiency of the team, whether you want to chase the just based on target
33:28conservation, however you want to analyze this. He's a buy, right?
33:32So just like Marvin Harrison Jr. Is a sell low Dalton Kincaid is the ultimate buy high.
33:37Now, takeaway number five is about Chuba Hubbard. Chuba Hubbard is also a buy high.
33:41I wouldn't say he's the buy high of Dalton Kincaid, but he's a buy high.
33:46He's a bell cow back on a good team.
33:49OK, he was one of the big dynasty risers.
33:52So we looked at all the the usage metrics and you noticed a bunch of guys moving up and down the dynasty rankings after week one.
34:00It's a challenge, right? Those are some those are some fragile movements.
34:03Caleb Williams moved way up. He's going to come back down, right?
34:07So there's some volatility in the dynasty rankings through the first couple of weeks of the season as things shake out.
34:13Chuba Hubbard is one of those guys that popped way up.
34:17It's like, wow, his his usage was was massive, you know, 60 plus percent opportunity share.
34:22And he did it again. And Jonathan Brooks, because Jonathan Brooks is not a stud running back in the league yet.
34:28He's not elite yet because he's not elite. He got hurt again.
34:32Every other every non elite running back at hurt.
34:34That includes Jonathan Brooks. So now Jonathan Brooks is injured.
34:37Thankfully, it was not a knee injury. I mean, imagine if it was a knee injury.
34:42Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Right. Yeah. To the two running backs with the most fragile lifetime value ratings in dynasty
34:49going into the season had to be Jonathan Brooks and Marshawn Lloyd.
34:53Very speculative, very much upside based. Chuba Hubbard was floor based.
34:56Sometimes the floor wins. Football is finally back in prize picks is bringing out their best offer yet.
35:02New users who sign up will get $150 in lineups if you win your first $5 lineup.
35:07That's right. If you win your first $5 lineup, you get $150 in lineups.
35:11And now prize picks is available nationwide. Lock it in for kickoff because everyone and everything is on prize picks.
35:17And you know we've been playing Geno Smith all year.
35:20Week three, he gets the Lions. So, of course, we're going more than Geno Smith's passing yards on prize picks this week.
35:27Oh, yeah. Doesn't get any easier than that. And the best part about prize picks is the injury reboot.

36:13We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months.
36:17We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
36:20And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you got Bijan, you got Kyle Pitts, you got Drake London, but you got two bad left-handed quarterbacks.
36:28And you certainly don't need to be tailing some fake betting expert on social media.

37:10You're welcome. Chuba Hubbard is a top 25 running back in Dynasty.
37:14I mentioned Dynasty because he's well past the age apex.
37:17He's two years past the age apex and he's going to be a top 25 back in Dynasty because he's on a team that's exceeding all expectations.
37:25Look at Bryce Young. Bryce Young is crushing. Bryce Young was like a zero to negative EPA quarterback for the first three years of his career.
37:33And then in this fourth year, just decided, you know what?
37:37I'm pretty good. I'm a pretty good player. Okay, great.
37:40I mean, I have so much Jalen Coker. Please, by all means, Bryce, Bryce Young, be good.
37:45I love it. Like, I like Ted McMillan. Now, Ted McMillan and Jalen Coker are now one A, one B.
37:51They're they're converging in Dynasty. Their Dynasty values are converging faster on player profile than any other service just because, you know, we're coke heads over here.
37:59Come on. You know that. And, you know, we're out ahead on Chuba Hubbard moving him up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up.
38:07It's a good team. That's a team that's going to score a lot of points.
38:12There's a lot of TD equity for their Hubbard.
38:14He scored on a reception in week two. It's all good.
38:18It's all good. Chuba Hubbard. And, you know, I tweeted out yesterday as soon as two or three snaps after Saquon Barkley
38:24left and went to the medical tent. I noticed it was Will Shipley.
38:28And I asked the question. I was like, hey, is Will Shipley the RB too?
38:33And then again, everybody coming back to me. Oh, it's Tank Bigsby.
38:37Oh, it was a hurry up offense. Is he's going to be Tank Bigsby?
38:41And then sure enough. Yeah. Tank Bigsby had more carries.
38:44He did. He had more carries. This is very true.
38:47Yes. So everybody again yelling at me. Why do I tweet during games?
38:51Why do I do it? It's just, it brings just a lot of negative energy, but that's okay.
38:57Because in this case, in this case, the pod father was redeemed.
39:00Tank Bigsby, 33% of the snaps. Will Shipley week to 53% of the snaps.
39:05Now Tank Bigsby was twice as many carries, but Will Shipley, 57% route participation.
39:09Tank Bigsby just a 17% route participation. Why? Because Tank Bigsby is not a pass catcher.
39:14He is a between the tackles, get what's blocked grinder who will break some tackles here and there.
39:19He's strong. He will get what's blocked plus like he'll get what's blocked and then he'll break a few tackles.
39:25There's a lot of running backs that can do that.
39:28Jarquez Hunter can do that. There's no difference between guys on practice squads like Jarquez Hunter.
39:33And Tank Bigsby. So that guy's never going to be valuable in dynasty until there's an injury to Saquon Barkley.
39:39You would think, but maybe, maybe it's Will Shipley because Will Shipley has the skill set we want for fantasy.
39:45Will Shipley has the requisite size. He's not diminutive and he's a great, great pass catcher.
39:50And he was productive at Clemson. He's athletic, a lot going for him.
39:54Will Shipley is a lot going for him. He is available in the vast majority of dynasty leagues.
40:00You have to be in a deep redraft league to pick him up because if Saquon Barkley goes down, Saquon Barkley has
40:07had precious little like yards created for him by his offensive line.
40:10Like the yards before contact for Saquon Barkley has been some of the worst in the league.
40:15He's been like, he's like bottom one percentile. This is not a team that can run block.
40:21So, and also I, it's a hard offensive line to, to assess.
40:24It's probably the hardest offensive line to analyze because of Jalen Hurts.
40:28Jalen Hurts is uniquely strong, fast, instinctual. He makes it harder to analyze the offensive line.
40:33Whereas at the Lions offensive line is Jared Goff.
40:36It's very straightforward. How much time he has to throw the pressured rate.
40:40It's all very straightforward with Jalen Hurts. It's much more nuanced.
40:43So it's likely that the Philadelphia offensive line is a lot worse than anyone realizes.
40:48So for a bunch of reasons, I'm not running out to stash either Bigsby or Shipley in seasonal leagues, but in dynasty
40:54and these deep dynasty leagues, where we have lots of flex positions and huge benches, a guy like Shipley has to be rostered.
41:01He has to be rostered. Barkley is almost 30 and tank Bigsby is a cardboard cutout grinder.
41:07So for that reason, Shipley is a tantalizing guy.
41:09Unfortunately, I've had to drop some Shipley. I had a lot of him and I've had to drop a little bit and that's frustrating.
41:17And now I have to go back and try to get him.
41:20It's like, oh no, I got to go back again.
41:23The one guy that I have refused to drop all along is Tyson Badgett.
41:28Right. And we'll talk about Tyson Badgett more. But I remember there were a few leagues where I had to, you know,
41:34promote a guy off the IR or whatever it started.
41:37I had to, I, I had a roster decision to make.
41:41I had to put guys on IR to pick guys up, whatever it was.
41:45Couldn't keep Shipley in a couple deep dynasty leagues.
41:48And I remember the decision point was Shipley or Badgett.
41:51And I was like, no, there's two quarterbacks in super flex that I am not dropping.
41:56Tyson Badgett and Jameis Winston. I'm not doing it because either one of these guys gets in there.
42:01It's going to be fireworks. We'll talk about him in a little bit.
42:05Talk more about Badgett in a minute. Don't worry.
42:08Don't worry. We're going to get there for now.
42:11Shipley. We're going to go back and we can go back and restash him in dynasty.
42:16Takeaway seven Trevion's back, baby. Trevion. Trevion. Took him a week.
42:19Just took him a week. He was out for a week.
42:22Comes back, takes over the backfield. NFL coaches are highly reactionary to the detriment of their team.
42:28Many times we saw this with Caleb Johnson. Why are you?
42:31Okay. He fumbled a kickoff. Big deal. Dude. Just let him go.
42:35Let him walk. It's a day to pick. What are you doing?
42:38Close to a 50% dominator rating. Get player profiler Steelers.
42:41You can tell the Steelers front office doesn't have player profiler.
42:45You can tell Ramadre fumbles. And I don't like Ramadre Stevenson.
42:48I've said this for years. I don't like him.
42:51We don't have him rated very highly in dynasty or in any of our services.
42:55We've always been at or a little bit behind ADP on Ramadre Stevenson because I'm like, listen, it's a pretty good team.
43:02They went to the Super Bowl. He's going to get a significant share of this offense out of the backfield.
43:08A lot of the opportunities are going to go to Ramadre Stevenson.
43:12This is something we have to deal with, but he has been known to fumble.
43:17This is a reputation that he has. And even though he's a veteran, they're still treating him like it's, it's pop Warner
43:23football punishing the kid for fumbling, trying to teach him a lesson.
43:27He's a professional. He doesn't need this, but sure enough, look at the snaps.
43:3160% of the snaps went to Henderson. Only 36% snap share for Ramadre Stevenson.
43:36And most of those snaps run third down. And that means the vast majority of the fantasy point scoring opportunities went to Henderson.
43:43Henderson has the explosiveness. Henderson actually ran more routes than Stevenson did.
43:46And certainly took like three times as many carries.
43:49So it's so on, right? So riser big riser this week is going to be Trevion Henderson.
43:54He got the opportunity for a silly reason. He got all the touches for a silly reason, but it was what I
44:01would have been doing all along because you just want the player that's going to give you more explosive plays anyway.
44:07That's how I'm wired if I were a coach.
44:10So we got there, like we got where we wanted to be.
44:14It was just a silly way to get there.
44:17Like it had to be a Ramadre fumble. Okay.
44:19Whatever it takes, man, whatever it takes to get the best players in the best situations to score points.
44:25We'll take it. Takeaway number eight. Jonah Coleman is Jonah Coleman.
44:28That guy. No, I don't think Jonah Coleman's going to give you much more than JK Dobbins in the same number of carries.
44:36They did the exact same. It's just that Jonah Coleman got the touchdown.
44:39And in Denver, you've got contingent hamstring equity. We have hamstring injuries for both Harvey and Dobbins clearing the way for Jonah Coleman.
44:47Again, why Harvey and Dobbins are not elite running back.
44:50So they're automatically hurt. That's how it is. It's a coincidence.
44:53Both hamstrings. So Jonah Coleman, please protect those hamstrings, man.
44:56Do it. Drink water, stretch, do whatever you got to do.
44:59Downward dog. I don't do Jonah. Please keep those hamstrings nice and supple.
45:03But the takeaway here is not Jonah Coleman, right?
45:06Some of you dropped Jonah Coleman. Now you're running to go pick him back up.
45:11Right? Suckers. It's funny. You have like more traditional leagues.
45:14They're scrambling to go re-grab Jonah Coleman. Me in these super deep sicko leagues, I'm scrambling to go pick up Will Shipley.
45:20That's just the difference. It's a small difference. But the takeaway here is Nicholas Singleton.
45:25He's next. Like he is next. Don't overreact to rookie running back usage, especially day three running back usage in week one.
45:32You notice that you went to, you might've gone to the dynasty rank.
45:36He's like, oh, Coleman and Singleton. They're still right where they were.
45:39Yeah. Because we're not over it. What? And then sure enough, boom, Coleman's now the starter.
45:44And I have no idea when Harvey or Dobbins are going to play again.
45:49We're all going to find out together when the injury reports come out from the team.
45:54And I'm not going to try to predict it.
45:56Nicholas Singleton is going to happen though. Spears left the game.
46:00Singleton came in, got four carries. It's only a matter of time.
46:03If you're the Titans and you're Owen too, why would you ever keep Pollard?
46:08Pollard is the number one trade candidate among all running backs in the NFL.
46:12He should, he should go to Denver if they need running back.
46:16He should go somewhere that needs a running back.
46:18And we do need to talk about Tyson Badgen.
46:21Again, Drew Locke was the play, the fringe quarterback tethered to the elite receiver that we wanted this week.
46:27And that was cool. But who's the next Drew Locke?
46:30The next Drew Locke is Tyson Badgen. I do not think that you get carted off, put a towel on your head
46:37and cry and play the next week. But again, I come from a different era.
46:41I come from the Ronnie Lott era and that just would never happen.
46:45But now we're in a different era where you can cry.
46:49You can put towels over your head and have 17 trainers help you off onto a cart, wave to the crowd and maybe play the next week.
46:57It's a new era. But I'm going to go ahead and say the chances that Caleb Williams plays in week three are less than 50%.
47:04How about we just say that? Can I say that?
47:08I don't even know. I'm so shook with these, the hysteria around these injuries, minor injuries, everyone on their knees for a
47:14twisted ankle from Ashton Gentry has me shook. Has me shook.
47:18Yesterday, shook. But we're still going to predict Tyson Badgen.
47:21Tyson Badgen will start. He's going to be the streamer du jour because it's the Bears and it's not the Seahawks.
47:27Everyone's going to be on Tyson Badgen, even though it's like Seahawks are playing the Cardinals and the Cardinals are what we thought they were.
47:35That was an easy streamer. The easy streamers from last week and they're in the plays of the week that we send
47:41on again, patreon.com slash pod father, number one quarterback stream, Drew Locke, number one wide receiver stream, Rashad Bateman, Rashad Bateman could
47:48have been, has been his entire career at the banana in the tailpipe.
47:52But when everyone's injured, okay, you even have to put the banana in the tailpipe guy top of your desperation streams if everyone else is injured.
48:00If you're looking for a buy low in every top 10 takeaway show, I want to try to get a buy low,
48:07a buy high, a sell low and a sell high into the show.
48:11My favorite buy low right now is Jacoby Lane.
48:14Jacoby Lane in just a handful of snaps and routes looked incredibly fluid and explosive.
48:18Now was the time to get Jacoby Lane in dynasty.
48:21You heard it here after week two. No one is talking about Jacoby Lane.
48:26Now is the time to strike. You got to get him now.
48:29Get him now. You have people that they have injuries.
48:32They have roster spots. Lots of teams that are competitive in dynasty.
48:36They're trying to win. Jacoby Lane's not helping them win.
48:39If you're rebuilding in dynasty, you don't have Jacoby Lane, go find him.
48:43Now would be the time to trade something like a Tony Pollard to the team that has Jacoby Lane.
48:49You can get Jacoby Lane plus. Go do that.
48:52Go do that right now. I'm doing it. I'm doing it.
48:55First, I got to actually get Drew Locke in my lineup.
48:58For Isaac Tesla, if I can remember to do that, if I can remember to check my teams before Thursday night football,
49:05I will hopefully get around to submitting offers for Jacoby Lane.
49:08I don't need to submit any offers for Tyson Badgett because I have him everywhere.
49:13I have him in every super flex league. My daughter and I played a game.
49:18I said, flip through all my teams, all my dynasty teams and see if there's any team without Tyson Badgett.
49:24She went to three teams. All three of them had Tyson Badgett.
49:27One of them, she was like, I don't see him.
49:30I was like, keep scrolling. It's a taxi squad.
49:33But oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes. Tyson Badgett's very good.
49:36He's had a circuitous route to the NFL, to West Virginia, and then had to transfer to a small school, then somehow
49:43get an invite to the senior bowl. And me and Cody and Alex are looking at each other at the senior bowl when he got in there.
49:51And we were like, holy cow, who the hell is this guy?
49:55He's the best quarterback here. It was a terrible year for quarterbacks, like 2023.
49:59But boy, oh boy, did Badgett look good. Football is finally back and PrizePix is bringing out their best offer yet.
50:06New users who sign up will get $150 in lineups if you win your first $5 lineup.
50:11That's right. If you win your first $5 lineup, you get $150 in lineups.
50:15And now PrizePix is available nationwide. Lock it in for kickoff because everyone and everything is on PrizePix.
50:21And you know we've been playing Geno Smith all year.
50:24Week three, he gets the Lions. So of course, we're going more than Geno Smith's passing yards on PrizePix this week.
50:30Oh yeah. Doesn't get any easier than that. And the best part about PrizePix is the injury reboot.
50:36If a player in your lineup gets injured in the first half and doesn't return, your lineup can still cash.

51:09little action on the games, my bookie needs to be added to your list of places to go line shopping.
51:15We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months.
51:19We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
51:22And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you got Bijan, you got Kyle Pitts, you got Drake London.
51:28But you got two bad left-handed quarterbacks. And you certainly don't need to be telling some fake betting expert on social media.
51:35Go to my bookie and find the plays you already know you like and take a shot.
51:40That's what's cool about my bookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off.
51:47And if you're new to the club, the bet back bonus gives you protection on your first play.

52:09PLAYER to get that bet back bonus. Bet on anything, anytime, anywhere.
52:13You're welcome. How good is Badgen? Well, I found some stats on Tyson Badgen.
52:17It's hard to find. He went to Shepard. Went to Shepard.
52:20We should pull these up. We should put these up on the screen.
52:24The Tyson Badgen stats from Shepard are right here in front of you.
52:28Let's just talk about it, right? So it was 2022.
52:32That was his final year at Shepard. He was 400 of 572.
52:35So he had 400 completions, which is mind-blowing. 41 TDs, eight interceptions, 4,500 yards.
52:39And he averaged, he averaged that year, 300 plus yards per game.
52:43The year before that, he averaged 400 yards a game in a small sample.
52:47He's pretty good. He's pretty good. He's also very athletic, right?
52:51So if you go to Tyson Badgen's page on playerprofile.com, you're going to see he's best comparable to Tyler Hineke.
52:57Tyler Hineke's actually had a couple games in the NFL where he was fantasy relevant, put up some points in fantasy and won some games for Washington.
53:05But I think we'll find that Tyson Badgen is a more consistent contributor and ultimately will find his way to a starting job in the NFL.
53:13He is the best backup quarterback in the league.
53:16He's better than Drew Locke. He's better than Mac Jones.
53:19He's better than Jameis Winston. He sure as hell better than Marcus Mariota.
53:23Poor one out for Jaden Daniels. That was hard to watch.
53:26That was hard to watch. I'm not predicting when he's going to be back.
53:31I have no idea. I think what I saw was a catastrophic arm injury, but I have no idea what I saw.
53:37I do not make any predictions about when players may or may not return from injury.
53:42We'll see. But I feel bad for him nonetheless.
53:45No one should have to have their arm go the wrong direction, though it could be a very minor injury and we'll
53:52find out that maybe he's put on the IR and then they're taking him off the IR because actually, no, he healed in 24 hours and he's fine.
54:00I really have no idea what's going to happen to these players.
54:04So from now on, again, you almost got me there, right?
54:07I almost got myself because I was like, well, his arm went the wrong way.
54:12It has to be bad. He has to miss games.
54:15I'm not going to say it. I'm not going to say it.
54:19The NFL is going to come out and they're going to put him on the IR.
54:23They'll give us some diagnosis and some timeline month to month or whatever and then that's what it's going to be.
54:30I'm not going to predict. It may have already come out.
54:33Probably did. I don't know. I'm sure it's bad but I don't know.
54:37See, I did it again. I thought it was bad.
54:40I was like, I sure, no, it may not be bad.
54:44I'm not going to fall for it. I'm not.
54:46Body parts can move in the wrong direction and I'm no longer falling for it, everybody.
54:51I'm not. I'm not going to say it. I don't know.
54:55I don't know what's going to happen with Jaden Daniels.
54:58I do not know. There. Did I pass the test?
55:01I hope I did. Badgett will maybe play this week, probably, and if he is, you're playing him.
55:06The upside is incredible in the context of this offense.
55:09He might even target Colson Loveland. So that could be a reason to play Colson Loveland.
55:14Maybe he and Colson Loveland are practicing a lot together.
55:17A little shower narrative. I don't know. Wouldn't it be the backup?
55:21It might be the backup. Like, Zavion Thomas. Maybe we, the shower narrative would be play Zavion Thomas because he and Tyson
55:28Badgett are on the practice squad together. Wrong. It's going to be play your Bears.
55:32Play your Bears with the same or just slightly less confidence that you were playing them with Caleb Williams because Tyson Badgett is good.
55:40And the final takeaway here is we made it to the end.
55:43Takeaway number 10, plus we had one bonus takeaway.
55:46So again, I failed. 11 takeaways is not 10.
55:49Of all these backup quarterbacks around the league, the one guy you can now drop is Trey Lance.
55:54You probably didn't think that the last takeaway, the big takeaway, the final reveal of this show was going to be drop Trey Lance.
56:02But I have to say in some very deep super flex dynasty leagues, two QB leagues, I was holding on to some Trey Lance.
56:09I'm like, this is a Konami QB. And this offense, you got weapons.
56:13They've added all these new tight ends. These exciting new tight end weapons.
56:17They're all hurt, of course, except for Arande Gadsden, who's the big winner.
56:21Everyone's scrambling to go back and pick up Arande Gadsden.
56:24I was made fun of for drafting Arande Gadsden over Terrence Ferguson.
56:28And I may have the last laugh on that.
56:30John Paulson, hope he's listening here. But why? Not because of performance, just because of injury.
56:35But technically, technically, we don't know what's going to happen tonight, Monday Night Football.
56:40Technically, I don't know what's going to happen. So far, it's been out producing Terrence Ferguson anyway, even before the injuries to Kohler and Njoku.
56:47But they added weapons and it didn't matter. It didn't matter.
56:51Somehow, you get the best tackles in the league.
56:53You bring in a fancy offensive coordinator with a Shanahan tree background.
56:57Like they plucked him off the Shanahan tree, put some douchey South Beach sunglasses on him that I am wearing right now.
57:04I stole these from his house. I went to his house.
57:07I snuck in in the middle of the night.
57:10No, this is not like a Jon Hamm Apple TV show.
57:13This is my life. I snuck in. I went past all the Rolexes and I went straight to the sunglasses.
57:19These are stolen sunglasses from Mike McDaniel. You know, you can drop a Trey Lance.
57:24I mean, that's the he's like, you've got offensive linemen.
57:27You've got offensive coordinators. You've got receivers. You've got everything you want.
57:31If he somehow gets the job, if he's safe, if Herbert is injured, Lance would be tantalizing for fantasy.
57:36Not anymore. Not anymore. The Chargers lost to a Cardinals team that was crushed by the Seahawks the next week.
57:43So by the transitive property Chargers is the worst team in the league, right?
57:47And I, I don't even want to give my own take on Justin Herbert because I read a take from a man, Kyle Dvorak.
57:54Kyle Dvorak, analyst for Roto World, used to be here at Player Profiler, one of many news analysts, writers here that went on to full-time jobs elsewhere.
58:02I think, I think you could easily say that the podfather's fantasy analyst tree is stronger than the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree at this point.
58:10So we should put this up on the screen.
58:13We should put this up. We should just, we should just put this up so we can talk about it.
58:19Justin Herbert, the full analysis from Kyle Dvorak. I'll read it.
58:22I'll just, this is me reading. The Chargers were an uncoordinated mess.
58:26They committed loads of procedural penalties on offense, had several drops, botched multiple handoffs or snaps.
58:31Their final penalty was holding in their own end zone resulting in a safety.
58:35David Njoku handed Herbert's first interception to a defender but the second pick was all his fault.
58:40Herbert fired into a non-existent window on a deep shot and was essentially intercepted by the Vegas secondary.
58:46Easily. He committed two fumbles. Both were recovered by the Chargers but again, Herbert, two fumbles.
58:51They're 0-2 and the schedule coming up is absolutely brutal.
58:54So what is the takeaway? The takeaway is do not fall for it.
58:58Don't fall for the coach worship. Again, we had the double genius with all the supporting cast.
59:03It was like a, it was like a Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings, right, on offense.
59:08We had everything we wanted plus the coaches, the coaching and then you look up Justin Herbert.
59:13Wait, wait, let me look up. Let me put this up.
59:17Sunglasses. We put the douchey sunglasses on for this.
59:20Justin Herbert ranks 25th in fantasy points per drop back this season.
59:23Do you realize who's behind him? Players like Cam Ward.
59:26Okay. He's top 16 fantasy points. He went over 16 fantasy points once in the last 10 games.
59:32I mean, how do they, how do they screw this up?
59:35I have no choice but to say that this is coaching.
59:39What other answer could there be? You're like, oh, wait a second.
59:42I thought you said don't overanalyze coaching. There's no, you want to fade coach analysis.
59:47Yeah, normally, especially when an analyst is saying or leading with, hey, coach X is the reason you want to get player Y.
59:54I hate that analysis. I always will. And I've bickered with many analysts at Player Profiler over this.
59:59But what we have seen is that coaches can do more harm than good.
60:04If you're fading a player because it's a known reputation from the coach being bad.
60:08There's a known reputation on this coach that he has been responsible.
60:12The coach has been responsible for multiple dysfunctional offenses in his past career, right?
60:16In his, in his past life with other teams.
60:19Then you may consider the coach as a, as potentially as a significant part of your case to fade that player.
60:25That is something that you can do because incompetent coaches have the ability to completely derail players.
60:31Last year, there was incompetent coaching. In Las Vegas.
60:33And now we're seeing what Las Vegas looks like with just competent coaching.
60:37Just an upgrade. Just some upgrading coach. I know there's some continuity with the coaches.
60:42Yeah, but there's been changes. Okay. There's no longer secret offensive line meetings.
60:46Tom Brady got in there and he cleaned, he made some changes, cleaned some things up.
60:51And now all of a sudden they're just, they're letting their players play.
60:55They're putting their players in reasonable positions to produce.
60:57So that's the, that's the final takeaway here. Coaches can do more harm than good.
61:02And in the case of the Chargers, I've looked everywhere.
61:05I've looked back through Justin Herbert's career. I've looked at the supporting cast.
61:09I've looked everywhere and there is no one else left to blame.
61:13But Mike McDaniel and Jim Harbaugh, I know Jim Harbaugh loves milk and he drinks a lot of milk and that, that was a cool narrative, right?
61:21But I think Jim Harbaugh needs to go home, take a look at the mirror, put the fucking milk down and coach him up.
61:28Football is finally back and PrizePix is bringing out their best offer yet.

61:42And now PrizePix is available nationwide. Lock it in for kickoff because everyone and everything is on PrizePix.
61:47And you know we've been playing Geno Smith all year.
61:50Week three, he gets the Lions. So of course, we're going more than Geno Smith's passing yards on PrizePix this week.
61:57Oh yeah. Doesn't get any easier than that. And the best part about PrizePix is the injury reboot.
62:02If a player in your lineup gets injured in the first half and doesn't return, your lineup can still cash.
62:08Plus with their social feature, you can find popular picks that users love and copy them with one click.
62:14So download the app today and use code PLAYER to get $150 instantly in lineups if you win your first $5 lineup.
62:21I'll say it again. You download the app today, use code PLAYER and you get $150 instantly in lineups if you win your first $5 lineup.
62:29PrizePix. Run your game. Football is back, baby. And whether you've been betting for years or you're just looking to put a
62:36little action on the games, MyBookie needs to be added to your list of places to go line shopping.
62:41We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months.
62:45We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
62:49And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you've got Bijan, you've got Kyle Pitts, you've got Drake London, but you've got two bad left-handed quarterbacks.
62:57And you certainly don't need to be tailing some fake betting expert on social media.
63:01Go to MyBookie and find the plays you already know you like and take a shot.
63:06That's what's cool about MyBookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off.
63:13And if you're new to the club, the bet back bonus gives you protection on your first play.
63:19Sign up with promo code PLAYER to opt into the bet back bonus and take your first shot with a safety net.
63:26If your wager loses, you get it right back.
63:28No questions asked. Football is finally here. Get in now and cash in on the season with MyBookie with promo code PLAYER to get that bet back bonus.
63:37Bet on anything, anytime, anywhere. You're welcome.
