A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury19:01

Brown suffered an ankle injury early in the third quarter that appeared to be a high ankle sprain. His absence significantly hampered the Patriots' passing attack.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeValue29:28

Harris advises staying away from Alec Pierce in Week 1, suggesting that if a fantasy manager has quality options, they should bench Pierce as he has not yet proven his value.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeInjury30:36

Bowers underwent a knee scope on Tuesday and is confirmed out for Week 1. Harris expects him to be out longer than the initial one-to-two-week timeline, adding risk to his second-round draft capital.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection42:38

Behrens includes Chris Olave in his DFS lineup, citing the Saints' favorable matchup against a Lions defense missing safeties and the high projected point total in that game.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveProjection23:42

Harris prefers DJ Moore over JK Dobbins in lineup decisions, noting that Moore shops in a more expensive neighborhood of talent. Despite a tough Week 1 matchup against the Texans, Harris would be more upset missing a big DJ Moore game than a good JK Dobbins game.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveValue50:02

DeVonta Smith is a 'flag player' at $6,600, with the speaker suggesting his price has not yet caught up to his role as the number one receiver in Philadelphia.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeBust16:57

Maye struggled significantly, throwing three interceptions and making an 'inexcusable' throw in the red zone that cost the Patriots. Harris expresses concern that Maye is not ready to be a reliable fantasy starter.

Insight page

Drew Lock

NegativeRole2:14

Locke took over for an injured Sam Darnold and struggled for three quarters, though he showed improvement in the fourth. Harris notes that while Locke is not as good as Darnold, he may be capable of serving as a 'passenger' quarterback who can still support fantasy assets like JSN.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveUsage48:46

Garrett Wilson is expected to be heavily involved in the passing game, with the speaker noting he will get 'absolutely peppered with targets' in his Week 1 lineup.

Insight page

George Holani

PositiveUsage5:43

Holani saw significant work in the backfield rotation (21 snaps) and was the preferred option in the red zone, receiving four red-zone carries compared to Price's two.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveRole23:06

Harris projects Dobbins as the lead back for the Chargers until he gets hurt, noting he is a talented player who is a priority start for Week 1 over most receivers, with the exception of Courtland Sutton.

Insight page
NegativeValue35:49

Dobbins is viewed as the lead back in Denver while healthy. Harris suggests starting him over most receivers in flex spots, though he notes the risk of injury and the uncertainty of the backfield rotation with Jonah Coleman.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection40:35

Both Harris and Behrens are using Ja'Marr Chase in their DFS lineups, viewing him as a luxury player who anchors their roster.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeUsage5:34

Price split backfield work with George Holani (24 snaps to 21), but notably did not receive goal-line work, which went to Holani. Price showed flashes of speed and physicality, but the lack of high-leverage usage is a concern.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveProjection40:35

Both Harris and Behrens are using Jahmyr Gibbs in their DFS lineups, viewing him as a luxury player who anchors their roster.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveValue42:38

Behrens includes Juwan Johnson at $3,700 in his DFS lineup, noting the favorable price and the expectation of high scoring in the Saints-Lions game.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeInjury30:44

Harris advises against starting Keaton Mitchell in Week 1 due to a multi-week injury and the presence of Kimani Vidal in the Chargers' backfield, which complicates the depth chart.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue50:13

Luther Burden is priced at $5,500 and is viewed as a good play regardless of Rome Odunze's status. If Odunze experiences any performance degradation, it would only increase Burden's value.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveValue41:04

Behrens uses Malik Willis at $5,300 in DFS, noting that his rushing potential (70 yards and a touchdown) makes him a viable bargain-bin quarterback play.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeProjection27:03

Harris ranks Lloyd as RB32, noting that while he has upside as a potential lead back, his Week 1 outlook is clouded by injury uncertainty and a lack of information regarding his ability to handle a full workload. He is ranked higher than Andy Behrens' projection but lower than his season-long rank.

Insight page
NegativeValue46:56

Marshawn Lloyd is priced at $4,800, which is cheap for a player with a potential path to being a team's main running back. While not personally bullish on him, the speaker acknowledges he is healthy and represents a viable one-week play due to the low price point, despite a difficult matchup against the Vikings.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveUsage23:31

Stevenson served as the clear workhorse for the Patriots, playing 57 snaps and recording 95 scrimmage yards with five catches, despite a conservative game plan.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

NegativeInjury28:35

Odunze is dealing with a calf injury and was limited in practice. Harris believes he will likely play, and in a lineup decision against MarShawn Lloyd, Odunze offers more upside while Lloyd offers more safety.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveValue15:42

Despite a costly drop, Harris views Dobbs as a talented player who should be the next man up in the Patriots' receiving corps, especially if A.J. Brown misses time. He is a recommended add if available.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeInjury2:06

Darnold exited the game on the first series with a hip injury after taking a coverage sack, leaving his status uncertain.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveValue50:42

Trey McBride is considered the 'tightest of ends' and a clear start at $6,800 for Week 1, especially with Brock Bowers out.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

NegativeRole25:39

Harris suggests that if Bijan Robinson is healthy, Allgeier is a secondary option. Even if Robinson were to miss time, Harris would still prefer starting DJ Moore over Allgeier in a flex spot.

0:00It's the Harris Fantasy Football Podcast with your host Christopher Harris.
0:04Welcome! Hey everybody! Welcome in. My name is Chris and this book podcast suddenly has some football on it.
0:10Hello there everybody. Thanks so much for being here.
0:14We got a football game. We got one that counted.
0:17One that will begin to tell us the actual story of the 2026 season.
0:22And not just the one that people made up in their heads and then pretended was inevitable.
0:28And if you listen closely out there, you can already hear some shattering mind palaces.
0:33The Seahawks are down 10-0 in that game. They come back to hang on and win 13-10.
0:39Some embarrassing performances in there. Nothing quite so embarrassing to me as NBC forcing Mike Tirico to do an ad in the
0:47middle of the game about how Co-Pilot will be helping guide play calling all season.
0:52What? I mean they are pushing that stuff. You can really tell the AI people are losing the plot of how this
0:59is ever going to actually be something that people pay for.
1:03Hey Google AI, what play should I run right now?
1:07I mean come to think of it, maybe that had something to do with Pete Carroll in the Super Bowl against the
1:14Patriots, whatever, you know, 12 years ago. It's too bad it didn't exist then and he could have blamed it.
1:21Anyway, the Seahawks season immediately got turned on its head on their very first series.
1:26Seeing ghosts. As Sam Darnold took a coverage sack, walked to the blue tent, limped to the locker room and was out
1:34with a hip injury and suddenly it was the Drew Locke show.
1:38And for three quarters in that game it sort of did not look like that show would be up for renewal.
1:46But Locke acquitted himself okay in the fourth. Before then, you could see how much it spooked the Seahawks.
1:52They turtled game plan wise. They were desperate to just run it and try to shorten the game.
1:58Patriots defense played a lot of man coverage and the Seahawks got shut out in the first half.
2:05Kept getting stuffed in short yardage. The first play of the second quarter, Christian Gonzalez could have picked off Locke on a
2:12ball that should not have been thrown. Late second quarter, a third and 22 down seven.
2:18That was the first time Locke aired it out.
2:21A very good throw on a Jackson Smith and Jigba deep dig.
2:25He was ruled just short of the line to gain and on a fourth down for a tush push around midfield.
2:32I think we got a sense of just how the NFL is going to try to underhandedly get rid of that play.
2:40Because they called offensive offsides on a formation that, if that's offsides, the tush push has literally been offsides every single time it's been run.
2:49Which probably is true, but they never used to call it.
2:53Maybe they're going to call it this year and that could be the end of that play.
2:58The Seahawks roughed the punter early third quarter, got down 10.
3:02But then Cooper Cup had been invisible late third quarter, a third down play where I did not think that was a good throw by Drew Locke.
3:12Just kind of hoisted it up there. But a combination of Marcus Jones being small and Cooper Cup making kind of a one-handed catch.
3:20Really good play. They got Seattle into the red zone.
3:23And that's kind of maybe where our story for this show starts.
3:28Because one question, Darnold or no Darnold, how are the Seahawks going to divvy up that backfield?
3:34Jadarian Price had gotten the first carry of the game, looked good on it.
3:38A little simple counter where the Pats had overran it and went for 12.
3:43But then immediately Price came out and George Holani came in and ran for nine.
3:48Second drive, Holani got the first carry. Then Price came in.
3:52Price did get stuffed on a second and two on that second drive.
3:57But I like that play. He was physical on that play.
4:01It was bottled up and he didn't try to bounce.
4:04He hurt Carlton Davis actually. He gave him a shoulder stinger.
4:08He had to come out of the game. And then, but you know, to Davis's credit, he made the tackle.
4:15Then on third and two on that second series, Holani is the one who got stuffed.
4:20And the reason I'm mentioning this is that the first time Seattle was in the red zone that I just mentioned, late
4:28third quarter after the Cup catch, Holani was immediately in and got two carries, did not score.
4:34Cup actually scored a touchdown on a slant, but it was moving illegally at the snap.
4:40So it was eradicated. Then JSN got a pretty hopeless end zone target and Seattle kicked a field goal.
4:46So Jadarian Price did not get the goal line, that's for sure.
4:50And then in the fourth quarter, Seattle would get inside the red zone at 10 to 10 and Emmanuel Wilson came in
4:58the game, whereupon Locke committed a delay of game that really could have bitten the Seahawks but didn't.
5:04And then after the penalty, larger down a distance in the higher red zone, Price did come in and play a snap.
5:12Overall, it was 24 snaps for Price, 21 for Holani and three snaps for Wilson.
5:17Red zone, four Holani, two Price, technically zero Wilson because his play was nullified by penalty, but he was in for one.
5:25Price looked fast. I liked that run where he attacked Carlton Davis.
5:29It was something to build on. As we're going to say over and over, don't panic because another guy gets work because
5:36on most teams there is going to be another guy.
5:40But red zone, near the goal line, on Wednesday night, that was not Jadarian Price.
5:45And then there is the question of Darnold, the question of Drew Locke.
5:50The instinct upon seeing Seattle score zero points in Darnold's absence and the team looked kind of scared of its offense until
5:57they had no choice but to air it out a little bit more on a few plays with Locke.
6:04Yeah, that makes you think, uh-oh, what happens to my first round fantasy pick JSN?
6:09Fortunately, in the fourth quarter, on a fourth and short, the Seahawks, just by formation, they outflanked the Patriots.
6:16JSN got matched on a safety. They were certainly moving JSN around all night trying to get him away from Christian Gonzalez.
6:23Mostly did not succeed in doing that. They put him in the slot a bunch.
6:29They put him in the backfield a couple of times.
6:32And on that fateful fourth down, JSN, I mean, nothing fancy.
6:36He ran a stop route. That's a pretty unforgivable defensive lapse to let him catch a three-yard pattern or whatever it was
6:43and convert the first down and then even less forgivable to let him house it on the play.
6:50And all the JSN owners out there get to exhale.
6:53Is Drew Locke as good as Sam Darnold? If Darnold has to miss more time, no.
6:59Bro, is the drop-off insane? Maybe. It may be.
7:02I don't want to, like, be flippant and say, oh, they're exactly the same.
7:07They're not. Drew Locke was bad as a starter with the Broncos, but Sam Darnold was bad as a starter with the Jets.
7:15And I still, as I said on Wednesday's show, I don't really think Sam Darnold is great.
7:21He's a Super Bowl champ. We'll never be able to take that away from him.
7:26We all know he was a passenger and didn't play very well in that game.
7:31Is Locke capable of being that same kind of passenger and still supporting JSN?
7:36I think last night would be evidence of maybe.
7:39But certainly not optimal. Not a question you wanted to have to ask yourself if you drafted JSN in the first round.
7:47And then ancillary receiving weapons. I think it would be pretty easy to give up that dream if Darnold misses significant time.
7:54Today's kickoff. Okay, on today's show, we will, of course, talk about the Patriots' side of this Wednesday night affair.
8:01We will preview the Thursday night game. Rams and 49ers from Australia.
8:05We will do some week one flexual healing. And then my guest will be, once again, Andy Behrens from the Deep Shot and the Yacht Club podcast.
8:15He's filling in for Jake. And we'll talk about the main slate DraftKings DFS contest for week one.
8:21I think you'll have fun. I thank you again so much for listening today.

9:31Chris Harris can't believe it. Truly cannot believe it.
9:34On the Patriots' side of Wednesday night. I mean a couple things I can't believe, but a couple of pretty embarrassing things.
9:42Romeo Dobbs certainly getting ready to be the villain of the piece.
9:46His drop in the fourth quarter. I mean, football is back.
9:50Duck hands. Truly, like, there's only one thing you really have to do as a wide receiver, which is be able to catch the football.
9:58And easy ones like that, I just, it is.
10:01I mean, Packer fans know that it's not Dobbs' first flirtation with duck-handedness.
10:06He had some howlers in Green Bay, too, at times.
10:09Mostly, I think of him as a pretty sure-handed receiver.
10:13That was a real crusher. And on the very next play, Drake May forces a pass for one of his three interceptions.
10:20But let's be honest. The Patriots recovered from that sequence.
10:24They converted a fourth and nine to Mack Hollins on the final drive.
10:28They were in tying field goal range. No, this loss rests at the feet of one player.
10:34It's the quarterback. It's Drake May. And for so long in that game, you wouldn't have thought so.
10:41It sure felt like the Patriots coaches had given him the answers to the test.
10:46They had developed a plan for all of those wild, crazy blitzes that Seattle tortured them with in the Super Bowl.
10:53It looked like they had righted the wrongs they had committed back in that game.
10:58The one that really mattered. May was throwing into the blitz consistently.
11:02Certainly not being real aggressive. But Sam Darnold was out.
11:06The Seahawks were not scoring. Playing it fairly conservative seemed warranted.
11:10A third and three. A corner blitz. May was calm.
11:13Under pressure. Threw it right into the blitz for a slant to A.J.
11:18Brown. That was 15 yards. It was working. And then I felt one bad sign was a third and five right before halftime somewhere around midfield.
11:27A really cowardly run and punt up seven with a minute left where it's like, buddy, you're playing as though you have a big lead.
11:35I did not like that call at all. Then the first drive of the third quarter, A.J.
11:41Brown hurts his ankle. I do not play an injury expert.
11:45I do not listen to what they say on social media.
11:49It had that slow motion look of a high ankle sprain to me.
11:54And Brown was pretty right away ruled out and brought to the x-ray room.
11:58And boy, oh boy, from what that receiver group looked like once Brown was down, they sure need Brown not to be down.
12:06Remember, the first New England touchdown happened because they called a flea flicker and threw a deep one to A.J.
12:13Brown. And the defensive back clattered into him for pass interference or it would have been a long touchdown to Brown.
12:21And then that's when the rookie tight end Eli Raridin scored a play action touchdown on the goal line.
12:27And before Dobbs' drop, May had tried to hit the too deep turkey hole to Dobbs, but had just thrown it way
12:35too late and floaty for an easy first interception.
12:38Right after the Dobbs drop, I mentioned May forced the deep in cut that the free safety read easily.
12:45I think that was Demario Douglas he was looking for.
12:48And that was a second interception that was very easy.
12:52And yet, kind of miraculously, because Mac Hollins made a couple of plays and May scrambled to convert a fourth down, the
12:59Patriots are in the red zone and they're certainly thinking at least about tying the thing and maybe winning it.
13:06And then May just looks like a kid. I mean, think about what I would say if Bo Nix made that throw.
13:14I'd be dancing on his grave. Think about what I'd say if Jackson Dart had made that throw.
13:20I'd be calling on the Giants to bench him.
13:23Absolutely. Absolutely. An inexcusable. One of the worst throws we're going to see all year.
13:28And it just does make you wonder. Seattle's defense is great.
13:32Even with a shorthanded secondary, you can probably say Seattle's defense is great.
13:37But you probably should have already scored more points at that point in the game.
13:42Maybe it felt like your coaches were a little bit terrified of something they saw in your eyes.
13:48So we got a whole lot of three yards and a cloud of dust with Ramondre Stevenson.
13:54And then the biggest moment. I mean, I can hire Gardner Minshew to make that interception.
14:00I don't need the supposed no-brainer QB3. Not where I had him ranked.
14:04But yeah, the dude who needs a $60 million a year contract next summer cannot be making that throw.
14:11In the absence of Travion Henderson, Ramondra was good.
14:14Good. Had five catches, a lot of carries, 95 scrimmage yards, little cameos here and there by Corey Kiner and Lan Larrison.
14:21But 57 snaps for Stevenson, 10 combined for the other two guys.
14:26There were times where Stevenson was the main plan.
14:29It was a real conservative game plan right up until the point where May started taking foolish chances and ruined the game.
14:36If you've got A.J. Brown, I think probably, we don't know.
14:40We're going to know when we know. Probably get ready for an absence.
14:45We'll find out more in coming days. Romeo Dobbs is the guy there.
14:49He should be the next guy. If he's not, oh man, did they screw this up.
14:55Dobbs is a talented player. We've all seen him be good.
14:59Heedless of what he showed on Wednesday night. So Dobbs, if he's available in your league, he's the ad.
15:05And if you stashed him, he's the one you're going to be considering using going forward if we don't get A.J.
15:12Brown. Hollins did come to the rescue multiple times in the fourth quarter.
15:17So you might be asking yourself, why not Mac Hollins?
15:20And since you asked nicely, I'll tell you. Why not Mac Hollins is that he makes these plays that he makes as
15:28kind of an afterthought piece as a secondary receiver with defenses trying to take away someone else.
15:34Brown or Dobbs or whoever. And then on the other side, you know, vaguely putting some kind of zone corner over Hollins and not letting him go deep.
15:44The moment an offense tries to make Mac Hollins a consistent weekly piece in their game plan, he absolutely will not beat tighter coverage.
15:52That's always been his problem. Or at least it's been his story so far.
15:57He's a veteran player. You know, I know for a fact there'll be people saying, yeah, cut Dobbs.
16:03Give it to the Hollins, kid. But when NFL teams have tried that in the past, that has not worked.
16:10Overall, the footy pajama Patriots 100% let one slip away.
16:14The big takeaway is if that's the quarterback, they're in trouble.
16:17And you're in trouble if you've got them. Though we've got a big long season ahead to keep finding that out for sure.
16:25Thursday night preview. It is Niners-Rams from Australia. A second opening midweek game.
16:30The NFL simply cannot put enough games on enough different nights to kill the golden goose.
16:35But heaven knows they try. We have, I guess, slight questions about Puka Nakua and Christian McCaffrey health-wise for this game.
16:43But probably not really. They have tightness. All right.
16:46You know, I don't think you sit out. I don't think you get limited playing time for tightness.
16:52I think you're starting them. Because if they go off on your bench, you're going to feel very silly.
16:59So you just kind of live with the results.
17:02I just, you know, want to keep emphasizing that these lineup choices, you don't have the information.
17:08You just, you can't make the perfect decision. Because they are not going to tell you the information.
17:14Especially not for week one. And I think, frankly, we're starting mostly everybody here.
17:19Kyron Williams. Devontae Adams. I mean, is Mike Evans in a bunch of lineups?
17:24Probably. George Kittle we talked about on Wednesday's show a little bit.
17:28I have him tight in 14 for the week.
17:31Which means I don't mind looking for a replacement.
17:34But mostly, you know, I guess Brenton Strange, Jawan Johnson.
17:38Those are the two that you might have paired with Kittle.
17:41And I'm fine using those guys over Kittle and playing it slightly safe.
17:46Otherwise, I think you're just going to take the chance.
17:49It's tight end anyway. Most tight ends do nothing regardless.
17:53So, we're probably using him. Stat Padford going to be in lineups.
17:57We'll see if he can avoid the fate of Darnold in this game.
18:02Brock Purdy. Maybe a little more of a super flex guy.
18:05Though, obviously, has plenty of good games on his track record.
18:09Debo Samuel. Probably not using him right away to see how things go.
18:14Dejan Stribling. Interesting to watch. See the deployment. See how much they throw it to him.
18:19Just a lot of stars. A lot of guys who, for the moment, were setting and forgetting.
18:25And we will definitely talk about it off the top of Friday's show.
18:30And quickly, I didn't find another place for it in the show because it's a busy show.
18:36But part of Sunday, I'm assuming you heard. But just in case you didn't, Brock Bowers needed a knee scope on Tuesday.
18:43And they tried to slide it in there. Like, oh, I mean, it's a week, maybe two.
18:49Okay, maybe. He's definitely out for week one. I'm going to say probably out for longer than that.
18:55Even though, you know, if he's not, we're going to have a scary decision to make in week two.
19:02Not knowing how much he'll play. But it obviously adds risk to a second round fantasy pick that I already had very greatly hoped you did not make.
19:12The wait is over. Football has arrived. And it's on DraftKings.
19:16DraftKings is now live in all 50 states in the U.S.

20:40But for week one, rather than have another guest on to talk about week one ranks when we really don't know any
20:47more than we think we've known for the past four months, let's throw it back open to the possums.
20:54I asked on social media and in the Yacht Club Discord, what's your one big flex question for week one?
21:01And I can at least chat about them a little bit and hopefully help some folks.
21:06And you know the main reason to do this at least once per season.
21:11For sure that we get to mention Percy Harvin in a walk-up song there.
21:16But the real reason is vamping. Because I'm gonna vamp.
21:19Because you're gonna guess who the most asked about player was in flexural healing.
21:24And we get to play this. It's the art of the show Where Chris asks you To make the most popular flex
21:32And make you think you know He would be the second to class Most popular flex Oh, it's a banger.
21:39The Flexual Healing vamping song by Kyle And Grandma the Band Did you think about it?
21:44Did you try and guess the single most asked about flex for week one?
21:49The answer was in fact J.K. Dobbins The folks weren't in practice answering flexual healing maybe So they were I mean maybe
21:57shocked to be asked So it wasn't as many folks responding But we did have Aaron W.
22:03Igua Carl W. Kevin H. Larry Grant And Tony C.
22:06Dobbins Very clearly a good answer to the question of what should I do with my flex Clearly drafted in your flex
22:14territory RB34 on average I think by the end of draft season He was going maybe after R.J.
22:20Harvey by a little bit Sometimes just before But we were talking Seventh or maybe sometimes eighth round And the comps Mostly
22:28what I saw Are fair I saw Cortland Sutton as a comp I saw Jacoby Myers As a comp Someone asked about
22:36Marvin Harrison Someone asked about Michael Wilson We talked about Dobbins a little bit with Andy On Wednesday There is of course
22:43no way to know the mix beforehand We're just not going to know the plans If it comes out And Jonah Coleman
22:51Is the most important player in Denver's backfield Or it turns out he's exclusively the red zone carrier We're all going to
22:58learn it together We don't know that So you're just trying to play the odds For me the odds are that Dobbins
23:06is the lead back On that team Until he gets hurt Because he's really good And because he always gets hurt For
23:14week one I'm doing my best I'm playing Dobbins over I think all the receivers I just mentioned Except I think maybe
23:21Cortland Sutton I might play over Dobbins Although it's close I'm not going crazy with Dobbins But those were all reasonable Receivers
23:29to be comparing him to And while he's healthy I think I could get my way through To use him There were
23:37other Dobbins questions Related to the next guy on the list So let's play that man's music He's DJ Moore, the little
23:44badass He's more than that if you have to ask DJ Moore, the little badass So a couple people on the Dobbins
23:52side of things Were directly comparing him to DJ Moore, the little badass Once again, we do not guarantee deployment ever We
24:00certainly cannot legislate usage for week one Whatever legislate usage means As dumb a statement now as when I said it A
24:07dozen years ago Heard it coming out of my mouth Didn't know what I meant then Still don't know what I mean
24:15But we're not going to legislate usage Just don't even try I personally for week one Am of the belief that DJ
24:22Moore shops in a more expensive neighborhood Than JK Dobbins Is a hard matchup I will grant you that The Texans defense
24:30Scary One of the ones That I am going to believe in Carrying over from year to year Josh Allen's scary matchup
24:38Not sure how DJ Moore gets used A lot of Not so sure what happens in there I can't sit DJ Moore
24:45I probably took him in the fourth round That will matter less and less as the weeks go by But to me
24:53I guess it is that question That I'm always going to ask you to ask yourself Hopefully this is a teach a
25:01person to fish Kind of moment Like would you be madder If you pick Dobbins over Moore And Moore goes off Or
25:08would you be madder If you pick Moore over Dobbins And Moore does three for 27 For me Given my expectations for
25:16Moore Given what I hope his ceiling is Although I can be proven wrong The answer is I would be madder If
25:24I miss out on the big DJ Moore game As opposed to the JK Dobbins good game That So I just Yeah
25:31In that comparison I think I do take DJ Moore Other Moore comps that I saw Somebody asked Moore or Tyler Algier
25:39If there's no Jeremiah Love I don't think it sounds like You're going to have to worry about that This was early
25:46Dan I believe who asked that one Sounds like Jeremiah Love is going to try to play And Probably be okay Although
25:54there is that X percent chance I keep talking about That the ankle Just winds up not being perfect And he gets
26:02tackled Funny one time And limps off But If you're having to make a lineup decision Between someone like Algier If there's
26:09no Jeremiah Love And DJ Moore I think I probably pick Moore still I saw Ashton Gentty Average Joe Asked that one
26:17I mean Now we're on Rodeo Drive Not to get all SoCal on ya Now Now we're Shopping in the neighborhood That
26:25I think we're using Gentty I understand where it comes from Because once again It's an ankle in question One funky tackle
26:32And Ashton Gentty Could be limping to the sideline Definitely true But I Don't have it in me Personally To get cute
26:40enough To be benching my Second round fantasy pick In week one As good as I think DJ Moore might turn out
26:48to be There's obviously Based on last year Real risk That doesn't turn out that way For him So I gotta be
26:55using Ashton Gentty I'm not in the habit Of benching second round picks Before week one Marshawn Lloyd A very common Asked
27:03about player By Kevin H Mizzle Invader Kota Thomas And Brian R Another dude that we did Talk about On Wednesday You
27:11got to hear The Doubtful case Of Marshawn Lloyd Out of Andy Behrens He was not really Even having my rank Of
27:18Marshawn Lloyd This week Which I don't think of my rank Of Marshawn Lloyd As being all that aggressive He's RB32 On
27:26my list Below Dobbins Even though I think Drafts last weekend My guess If you did a draft Last weekend Someone always
27:33took Lloyd Before Dobbins I think But Like That Draft position Was always Based on the Whatever X percent chance That A
27:41massive job Awaits Marshawn Lloyd If he can stay healthy And handle such a job So that is a reason To be
27:49maybe a little More skeptical Of Marshawn Lloyd For week one When we really have Zero information About whether he can Handle
27:56it So Therefore Lloyd is lower On my week one List than he was On my season long List But not as
28:04low As Andy's I know where Andy's coming from He just thinks That Marshawn Lloyd Might not be good at all And
28:12doesn't Really want to He feels like He could miss The first good Marshawn Lloyd game And I understand it Even though
28:19I do have him Ranked higher than Andy I saw the comp Of Marshawn Lloyd Or Jameson Williams No What No What
28:27No What I'm quoting myself The Geno Smith profile From the Almanac Anyway No we're using Jameson Williams I saw Rome Odunze
28:35For a comp For Marshawn Lloyd That's a good one Because We've got Injury questions About Odunze It's not The foot That
28:42didn't feel Like a foot anymore He was in fact Listed as limited In practice For the Bears On Wednesday Because of
28:50a calf injury Another situation We talked about With Behrens On Wednesday's show Odunze Not guaranteed To be ready But You know
28:57Assuming he goes Say on a Friday practice I think he'll probably play In that case Odunze Versus Marshawn Lloyd Probably close
29:05I'm not gonna be mad If you picked either one Maybe it's Odunze For upside But then You know Then I gotta
29:13say Marshawn Lloyd For safety I don't think he's Safe But I think he should Touch the ball more I saw Lloyd
29:20Or Brian Thomas I saw Lloyd Or Alec Pierce So Pierce is another Common flexural healing For the week I think he
29:28should be Pretty easy To stay away from In week one I personally Just the way I'm gonna play With Alec Pierce
29:36On a team He hasn't done anything You know If you have quality options You probably do Because you took Alec Pierce
29:43Pretty late I just You know Like If I miss the good game I go Awesome I'm so glad I have Alec
29:51Pierce On my bench I guess that's what I'm trying to say So I think In a lot of comps It's gonna
29:59be Someone else Over You know I was like Quality option Is Marshawn Lloyd A quality option To Andy's point Maybe not
30:06I think Andy might say no I think again I would be okay With Lloyd over Pierce Missing his first game Brian
30:14Thomas I think it's a pretty good Crossover point If it's me Again Lloyd does have That brass ring Of the Quote
30:21unquote A bigger chunk Than anybody else Of the Jacobs pie And I understand What can go wrong We've talked about it
30:29Ad nauseum We're gonna finally Start to get answers Against the Vikings This weekend I understand The counter argument I think I
30:37might go Lloyd And to wrap up Flexual healing How about a deeper name That you can cross check Against your own
30:44Deeper league Flex candidates That's always my advice With flexual healing These might not Specifically be the guys You're thinking about But
30:52Maybe you can find Someone close to Someone you're thinking about You know that I don't love One size fits all Flex
31:00ranks Because I think Sometimes it's based On what you need Given your lineup Given your risk Given your matchup All that
31:07stuff But for a deeper candidate We had Roger and Mike And Greg All ask about Keaton Mitchell A flag player I
31:15think that in a Normal sized league You probably don't have To consider Keaton Mitchell For week one Coming off What sounds
31:23like A minor injury But I think It's been like Multi-week So I don't know Exactly I think it's Optimistic To call
31:30the Chargers backfield A two-headed monster Because Kemani Vidal Is standing right over There waving hello I don't think he's Completely erased
31:38He was really good He kind of Saved them Kemani Vidal Might be You know One of the five guys That was
31:45most important To the Chargers Making the playoffs At the end of last year So I think Mostly in regular Sized leagues
31:53We drafted Mitchell To be a bench player So we could just Wait and see And if it doesn't Work out We
32:01can drop The comps I saw Were like They were reasonable Receivers Khalil Shakir Jalen Coker Matthew Golden If we're considering Any
32:08of those guys It's probably In a 14 or 16 team league Or maybe A league that Starts two flexes You know
32:16Or maybe You just You're waiting on Travion Henderson Because you couldn't Play him last night Or you need a Second flex
32:24In the place of Bowers We talked about earlier In a deeper league I'm You know I'm looking at Shakir Coker Golden
32:31I mean None of them are safe They have different profiles I think it's easier For me to take those Receivers over
32:39Mitchell I'm kind of not Wanting to use Keaton Mitchell This week It's receiver They can all do Three for 27 Definitely
32:47But they also do All get the chance At a bigger shot Whereas Mitchell just There's a question Of health That's just
32:54I don't know What to do with that But there's also Just a question of Omari and Hampton Simply could be the
33:02man And we could get Through week one And be like Never mind We were worried About nothing And given that Probably
33:10If it's me I give Mitchell A rest for week one We're sponsored Again by Pre-alcohol From Z-Biotics So I just went
33:17out Over Labor Day weekend Very good weekend For me From unwinding After the tour After the almanac Being done After the

34:47time I refer to myself As the Pooh WPOO The Stinky And today's guest I mean it is The Pooh We're over
34:54here On the main show But the Pooh Persists We need Pooh Persists Bumper stickers The Pooh Persists It is The great
35:02Andy Barron's Of the Deepshot.com Occasionally The Athletic Occasionally The Yacht Club I mean Whatever there is Of the Yacht Club Andy
35:10is exactly 50% of it Believe me What a pleasure To have you on On this Free side The Poohsters Out there
35:17Already know this But you know The casual listeners May not realize That the Pooh Is a bit of a DFS shark
35:25So this is the This is the right Segment for me Absolutely Well it's I mean Actually I will give you Real
35:33props Because Last year When we would do The Wednesday show The paywall show You would Talk about The previous week's Harris
35:40football contest And you cashed A bunch of dimes In that contest Like you were Joining us Even though you Weren't in
35:48the Segment And you were You Let me put it This way Poor Jake I'll talk about Him in a moment But
35:55you were Cashing a lot More than Jake Last year No pressure No pressure Week one Is obviously Hilarious And insane Jake
36:03is on On assignment He's traveling The globe No he's He's in the U.S.
36:08I don't know Am I supposed To say where He is I think he's In New England Actually He's in my Stomping
36:16grounds On vacation And he was Doing his best Wow did you Just Did you just Dox Jake That's great I didn't
36:23say Where he was New England's A big place Andy I don't know If you know But feel free Everybody in New
36:31England Just look out Your window You might see Him But he is Back He is back For another Season He actually
36:39Was gonna Gut it out And find a Way to record This segment For week one Because he Feels ownership Of the
36:46segment And he's Loves all you Guys listening And wanted to Keep the Street going But his Wife was not Into the
36:54notion And fair enough They're gonna Be out Places where They weren't Positive They're even Gonna have Internet And which By which
37:01I Mean New Hampshire No I'm just Kidding I don't know Where he is Just that's a New Hampshire Not having Internet
37:09joke So you're here Instead I Appreciate you Filling in So it's week One on DraftKings And once Again this is The
37:1712th I think the 12th season Maybe it's the Yeah I think it's The 12th season That DraftKings Has done this For
37:24us They're running A contest That's five Dollars And DraftKings Does not take A rake So all the Money goes back To
37:32the winners It's been called By many people Who know much Better than I do The best contest On the internet For
37:40DFS And they've been Doing it for us Forever We're very grateful To DraftKings For doing it And the link Is in
37:47the show Notes And if you've Never signed up At DraftKings But you want To play along With us It's five dollars
37:55You can play Whenever you want You don't have To play every week Sign up using The code Harris So get the
38:03DraftKings app Sign up using The code Harris When you do These week one Contests as I Have done for Many years
38:10now You learn that Often the magic Andy is in Trying to find Players who are Going to do Something Who are
38:18buried Because the DraftKings algorithm Doesn't recognize The potential To do something Did you notice This I only have Well we'll get
38:25To it I only have Really One such Player Who I consider Well he's a bit Of a flyer A bit of
38:33a Lottery ticket But yeah Buried in the Ranks in a way Buried in terms Of prices In a way That does
38:41Not reflect Some of the Summer hype Around him Right And I have Multiple of those This tends to be The way
38:48I roll For week one And so We're gonna get To some names Where you're like Okay I don't know Why you
38:56know I don't know Why you particularly Want that guy Oh wait I just found His price Now I know Why you
39:04want That guy And so I guess I'll Do it I'll start you Off the way I usually Start off Jake Which
39:11is How did you Begin building Your lineup Like was there One player That when you Scanned the group You said Okay
39:19this is My anchor I almost Always start From the Quarterback And it's funny When I build DFS lineups I either go
39:27Luxury quarterback Right I'm either at The top of The ranks And it's Lamar Or it's Josh Allen Or I Almost said
39:34Dumpster dive But that's Disrespectful Or I go Like bargain Bin quarterback I never Land on You know And this is Probably
39:42a flaw But I never Land on Like Justin Herbert I never Land on Trevor Lawrence A pretty Good quarterback Who might
39:50have A good matchup I either Get somebody Who you'd Find in like The 20s In the ranks Or I Go with
39:57You know Josh Allen At the very top And this week I wanted I want to Be involved In that Saints Lions
40:05Game And so I Went Tyler Shuck So This is a Weird player To select Perhaps as the Foundational piece Of a
40:12DFS Lineup But you know Tyler Shuck At 5600 Gives you The opportunity Then to Shop in the In the Luxury realm
40:20At running Back and receiver Which I did So yeah My quarterback Was not my First choice Isn't where I started The
40:28lineup But mine Is even Cheaper Than Tyler Shuck And same Idea I basically Knew I was Going to Find enough Luxury
40:35guys That I Started I mean That I Was going To find Enough Cheap Guys That I Started With the Luxury Guys
40:43So I Have both Jameer Gibbs And Jamar Chase In my Week Oh man I did The same Thing I did The
40:51same Thing Boy If it Was See I'm Okay With it And not Superstitious If Jake is Listening Right now He Just
40:58By Association Broke out In Hives He can't Take it When we Overlap And if We If we Overlap We call It
41:06Tinking That's an Odd A nod To Sharon Mitchell Our Mutual Friend Mitch He used To call It Instead Of Tinkering He
41:14used To call It Tinking And it Became Now Jake And I Talk about Tinking So Immediately If If Jake Was here
41:21And he He heard That we Both went Gibbs And Chase He would Be like I'm Tinking I'm Tinking Away I'm Off
41:29I'm Off These Guys I'll Let You know Later We Went That's Why Jake is So Good at DFS Obviously I'm Gonna
41:36Tink The Pooh I'll Tell You That It's Almost Gross Gibbs And Chase On both Of our Lineups I guess At that
41:44Point Is when I did Start to Find the Bargain Guys So I Have Malik Willis At 5300 Don't You know Want
41:52to Use Malik Willis In a Season Long League But He's The Same He's Like He's One Well What Is He's Is
41:59Yeah He's The Same Price As Aaron Rogers So I'll Take The Possibility Of Three Rushing Touchdowns For Malik Willis At 5300
42:07So okay You go Gibbs You go Chase You go Shuck How did You build It from There Yeah I'll Just say
42:15I Thought About Willis Too Cause You know 70 Yards And a Touchdown Is Rushing Is On The Table In Any Given
42:22Week For Malik Willis After That I Tied Myself Further To I Imagine But They're Down A Couple Of Safeties I Think
42:30There Are Yards To Be Had Against The Lions In Week One Huge Total In The Game So I Also Threw Chris
42:38Alave And Jawan Johnson In This Lineup Alave Alave Is 6700 Johnson 3700 I Thought That Was Actually A Pretty Good Price
42:45And Then I Have A Guy I Don't Even Love I Don't Even Love Amari Hampton As My As My Second Running
42:53Back It's Pretty Good Spot Against Arizona You Could Do Whatever You Wanted To Against Arizona Last Year Certainly And It's A
43:00Week In Which You Know We Think Keaton Mitchell Whatever Keaton Mitchell Is Going To Be He's if you're entering a big
43:08sprawling contest and I did throw this lineup into a couple of others, but if you're entering as some, you know, big
43:16sprawling, almost no chance you're going to win contest.
43:19I think it's, I think it's generally the way to go.
43:23You want to, you want to find a team that hits, you know, that hits on like 30, 35 points where it's just an explosion.
43:31The quarterback goes off and a couple of people go off and you just want to, you just want to have one of the right answers that week.
43:41Um, would I, would I feel better if I positioned myself to do that with the lions?
43:47Sure. Um, but the lions are more expensive than the, than the saints.
43:52You can afford all these saints. And again, I think there's going to be a bunch of points and yards available in that one.
44:00I should, I should also say that, uh, you know, I've kind of, kind of buried the, the ugly bits of this roster.
44:08Uh, also with Garrett Wells, you're, you're, you're giving it all away.
44:12I haven't said most of my guys. Um, I want to continue.
44:16Yeah, no, no. I just, I want to continue just for the people who are joining for the first time.
44:23Uh, and, and thinking about playing with us for the first time, maybe they're new listeners or else they've just never given
44:31into the DFS thing and they want to try it this year.
44:35The you're, you're talking about the difference between like a, a, you know, 10,000 person contest or 20,000 person contest, which you
44:43can definitely join on draft Kings these, with these DFS lineups and you can do it for cheap.
44:49Like you can do it for low amount, but obviously that many people, you have to really distinguish your lineup.
44:56You have to truly try to find the singular correct path often, which involve, you know, if you pick the right path
45:03with a non-traditional stack, that can be the key.
45:07Our contest still not still a GPP, like still big this, this week max size is 1500, but not as big.
45:14And so just by way of explaining your stack, you're like in a 1500 person one, sometimes you'll stack obviously like you
45:21did right now you, and you did like, again, like a mega stack with three guys on the same team, but you
45:29don't feel it's like an incorrect strategy to not stack.
45:33Right. Right. I don't think it's absolutely imperative that you do it.
45:37Um, you like 1500, um, 1500 rosters, you can wrap your head around winning that you start talking about some of these other contests.
45:45It's so, you know, the probability of winning it is, is so low, uh, take, take a big swing on, on something
45:53that you think other people are not swinging at.
45:56Right. And like that still is a strategy can work here too.
46:00You're just, you know, you think of the logic.
46:03If you're not quite right about the saints, then you're not going to have any chance to win either contest.
46:10Whereas if you had spread out your risk a little bit more in the 1500 person contest, you could have had a
46:18better chance than if the saints don't hit. Um, it's obvious.
46:22And then, you know, you can play head to head in draft Kings.
46:26You can play one person's one, your lineup against one other person.
46:30And in that case, you don't need to stack at all.
46:34You can just kind of search around for the best lineup that you like.
46:39Uh, I do not have a stack in mind mainly because it's Malik Willis and there are no Dolphins receivers I want
46:47to use, but I do have, I guess probably the next thing I did was Marshawn Lloyd.
46:52He's one of those buried guys. Yeah. He's at 4,800.
46:56So let me ask you this, like given Lloyd's ridiculous price and you know, we don't know what the opportunity is, but
47:04he has in his range of outcomes, a really good opportunity.
47:07We've won against the fight. It's a hard matchup against the Vikings theoretically, but still the potential to be the main running back on a team.
47:16Usually those guys are not 4,800. Would you imagine that Lloyd is going to rise to the level of like 30, 40%
47:24rostered where the person making a lineup is going to have to decide whether kind of I'm with him or I'm against him.
47:32You're going to have to make an active choice.
47:35Yeah. The first thing I'll say is I did search his name.
47:39Like he is one of those guys that I, that I searched out and, and, uh, you know, cause he's had, he's
47:47had so much sort of late in the game, uh, interest and I don't know what to do with him.
47:54I, you know, you, you and I have discussed him plenty.
47:58I'm not particularly bullish on him this year. I get it though.
48:02In week one, um, he's so cheap. It's, I know he's healthy right now.
48:07Um, so it's maybe it's, maybe it's the one week that I'm going to have Marshawn Lloyd this year.
48:13And I feel, feel pretty good that, uh, he at least enters a game at full, at full health.
48:20It's just, it's a frisky defense. I didn't want to do it.
48:24Um, but I can, I can totally understand this.
48:27And that was, uh, you know, it was, it was a name I searched out.
48:32I don't know what number I would have had to see next to the name in order to make myself comfortable, but it, but it wasn't 4,800 clearly.
48:42That's cheap. Uh, but yes, I understand. So you, you said Garrett Wilson, 5,800.
48:47So you're, uh, I've said it already in the show.
48:50Don't crash your car. These lineups are in the show notes, so you can consult them at your leisure, but you have
48:58a pretty good receiving core of chase a lobby, Garrett Wilson.
49:02Yeah. Felt, felt pretty good about that. Feel pretty good.
49:05The Garrett Wilson's going to get absolutely peppered with targets where it, where it may have gone awry is obviously when you,
49:13you would build a lineup out of, out of Jameer Gibbs and Jamar chase at some point, you're going to run out of money.
49:21Um, and one of the other guys who's, who's price, whose week one price I looked up was Jacoby lane and he's
49:29only $3,100 and I plugged him into the flex.
49:32He's my flex too. And therefore once again, stop it.
49:36So somewhere Trowbridge doesn't even know he's not even listening and he just got like a massive spasm in his neck and he's grabbing his neck.
49:45Honey, what? It's like, I feel like I've been stabbed like a voodoo doll.
49:49It's like, I've been stabbed. Uh, three, an overlap of three.
49:53Yeah. Jacoby lane, another one buried. Yeah. 3,100 buried.
49:56Um, and I think that's all your guys. I have Devante Smith on my list.
50:02Flag player 6,600. Maybe hasn't, the price hasn't quite caught up to him being a number one receiver in Philly.
50:09And then your boy, he's not really your boy, but he's on your team.
50:13Luther Burden at 5,500. I picked at a nice price in a week where we have some lingering questions about how ready Roma Dunze is going to be.
50:23Yeah. At the, at the worst, Oh, Dunze is fine and plays, but Burden is already good.
50:29And then if there's some degradation of a Dunze, that's only good for Burden.
50:34And this is 5,500. We both have Jacoby lane.
50:37And then you might be wondering what I did with all this savings.
50:42Was I able to afford Trey McBride? Oh, you know, I was Trey McBride with Bowers out for week one.
50:49Trey McBride, clearly the tightest of ends. I mean, how do you do this without Jake Trowbridge and not pick the tightest of ends?
50:57It is Trey McBride for 6,800. No problem. I can afford him looking forward to watching him.
51:03I'm sure run rough shot over that highly overrated chargers defense.
51:07No, it's not. It's probably pretty good, but Trey McBride, good player.
51:11Let's take him. So I was able to afford some studs here.
51:15No question about it. And some duds, some duds in common with you, but Trey McBride, 6,800.
51:21And then I know you don't know the bit, so I'm pretty sure you didn't do it.
51:27But the bit on this show is of course, if you don't take the cheapest defense, you are tempting the fates of
51:34the fantasy gods and your lineup will be stricken down.
51:38So I have the Cardinals defense at 2,000. Which defense do you have?
51:42I didn't go that cheap. I went with the Jets.
51:46I, you know, my process there is, hmm, who is Cam Ward playing?
51:50Oh, the Jets. Then we were done. 2,500. You know, under normal circumstances in which curses were not involved, the Jets would be a fine pick.
51:59However, in this case, you have just doomed your lineup.
52:03And unfortunately, because we have three players in common, you've also doomed my lineup.
52:08You fool, you've doomed us both. My bad. My bad.
52:11All right, Poo. Well, good job. Thank you for filling in.
52:15I really appreciate it. You can, of course, find Andy wherever you find social media people.
52:21Just look up his name. You can find him.
52:24Go to thedeepshot.org. There's plenty of free stuff that you can read there that Andy's writing regularly.
52:30And then also you can sign up for a subscription and support the man as well.
52:35We're a com, not an org. We're not an org.
52:39Org. Did I say org? Yeah. Thedeepshot.com. We're not a biz either.
52:43Not a biz. Yeah. Sorry. I'm pretty sure I know that I was there for the creation of that URL.
52:50That was just me not remembering to say it correctly.
52:53Thedeepshot.com. I'm not, I'm very silly. Good job. And thank you for filling in for Jake who will return next week as long as New England goes fetchingly.
53:03I feel like if they stumble upon some some like prospectors gold in Maine, we may never see the Trowbridges again.
53:10And you might have to keep coming back on.
53:13Failing that. It should be Jake next week. And you and I will, of course, join back up again on Wednesday when
53:21we'll have actual games to talk about and actual ranks that are informed.
53:25And we'll have a good conversation on the Yacht Club on Wednesday.
53:30Thanks for doing this though. Good luck to us.
53:33Basically the same roster. And thank you so much for listening.
53:37Let me thank the three sponsors that made today's show possible.
53:40We had Quo, DraftKings, and Z-Biotics. And if you're interested in anything I had to say about today's sponsors, it helps so
53:48much if you sign up and or make orders or make your interest known via the promo codes.
53:54Because that's how this whole thing keeps going around and around.
53:58They check how many people use the codes. I'm not working on commission.
54:03But when you don't skip the ads, when you give them a chance, when you're receptive to the idea, and then you
54:10hear something that's interesting to you, and you want to check it out, that's why people come back.
54:16Because you check it out and use the codes.
54:20You can find information about today's sponsors in the show notes of the show that you're listening to right now.
54:27And your podcast player, you can also find all the current sponsors at harrisfootball.com.
54:31I appreciate how much you do support the sponsors.
54:35That's why I've had a show for as long as I've had it.
54:39It's all because of you. And I should mention, the reason I have a quote-unquote bestseller is all because of you as well.
54:47I guess technically, Cumulative Press did not exactly get a traditional bestseller in the way that we think of it as being like New York Times bestseller.
54:56But that was always kind of a big ask.
55:00Or like USA Today bestseller. Kind of a big ask.
55:03Unbelievably, we said this on Wednesday's show too. Unbelievably, I actually didn't believe it was possible because of all of your generosity
55:11on bookshop.org for the week that just ended. We were the number seven book on that entire website.
55:17That's unbelievable, ridiculous, and clearly because of you. And I hope now that you've gotten copies of it, you are enjoying it.
55:25I hope the whole goal was to get it in your hands and have you have fun with it.
55:31I would love to keep it going. I don't think it's likely we stay on that kind of list for weeks and weeks going forward.
55:40But if you haven't gotten your copy yet, go to bookshop.org.
55:44Let's say thanks to them because that is kind of a big deal.
55:48Or anywhere. I mean, if you listen on Audible, for example, it's available on Audible at Amazon.
55:54You can just buy it at Amazon if that's more convenient for you.
55:59Whatever. Anything to get hold of it, that would be great.
56:02And to be honest, a few people have done this, but not as many as maybe I thought would.
56:09As you're reading, if you come across passages that you really, really like, and you want to send it out via social
56:17media and tag me, I will retweet and hopefully get people interested.
56:21I'm finding passages that I like. There's a commissioner section that you might know.
56:26Not related to the real commissioner, obviously, but a fictitious commissioner.
56:29And when the real commissioner just signed a big new contract, I sent it out of social media, sent the little clip
56:37of something he thinks in the book. I'm going to keep trying to do that more and more as well.
56:44I just wanted to say I appreciate how incredibly well you are supporting my writerly endeavors.
56:50It means very, very much to me. So that does it for this Thursday show.
56:55We have the opener under our belts. There's another one coming tonight.
56:59So tomorrow you can expect a review of Rams 49ers.
57:02And then Cousin Josh still on assignment, still out in the world gathering stories to amuse us with in Italy.
57:09So instead, the guest will be this gentleman. Hello.
57:13That's right. Jim McCormick will join and make us laugh.
57:16And Jim and I are each going to talk about five things that are just freaking us out in advance of week one.
57:24Obviously, this is more a Cousin Josh topic because Josh is the freak out master, but we'll do our best to get
57:32in Cousin Josh's headspace and just be freaked out for you for a little while on the podcast on Friday.
57:39Also, insofar as we know them, I will also give you injury updates to hopefully help you make those decisions for week one.
57:47Until then, thanks again so much for listening. Your hat is awesome.
57:51You're awesome for wearing it. I will talk to you tomorrow.
