0:08Emeka Egbuka starts off the season
0:10unbelievably hot, and [music] then went
0:13about as cold as anybody. Egbuka played
0:15through a hamstring injury though. I
0:16think that's a massive variable here, in
0:18addition to Baker Mayfield being banged
0:20up. Zach Robinson saying that he sees
0:22Emeka Egbuka as the Z receiver [music]
0:25in his offense was so refreshing to hear
0:27because the other problem for Egbuka
0:29last year is that he played so much X
0:31receiver, outside on ball. Over 70% of
0:34his snaps outside in his game
0:36sample for reception perception, over
0:3760% on the line of scrimmage, because
0:40they had to replace Mike Evans. I think
0:41Egbuka got thrown to that role last
0:43year, and it just sort of wasn't very
0:45fitting for his skill set, cuz he was
0:47like a big slot receiver prospect coming
0:49out of Ohio State. So, I think him going
0:52back into the Z receiver role, where
0:54he's off ball, he's moving around, so
0:56he's going to take some reps in slot,
0:57some reps outside, [music]
0:58that works really well with what Chris
1:00Godwin does as the power slot. Those
1:01guys will kind of alternate between
1:03flanker [music] and slot, which is
1:04perfectly fine for both of them. But,
1:06for Egbuka, he's going to run a lot of
1:08these high percentage big in-breaking
1:10routes in Zach Robinson's offense.
1:11I just think Egbuka is a really
1:13great bet to kind of just explode in
1:16year two from a production angle.
