UDFA rookie backup QB who entered the Week 2 game against Carolina. Threw a pick-six on his first pass (a laser to Dotson who couldn't hold on) and ended his day with an untouched fumble while trying to throw. Despite the turnovers, the source argues 'this offense still would've been more viable with him from the start than Cooper Rush' because he offered more with his legs and arm than the veteran. With a quick turnaround to Thursday Night Football, Strand could see action again if Penix and Tua remain unavailable.
